On the plane, Ridge is upset that Steffi lost her passport and couldn’t go to Monaco with them. Brooke assures him that they will make the best of it like they always do and will have a wonderful time in Monaco.

At Forrester Creations in Steffi’s office, Steffi tells Finn that she really wanted to go to Monaco. He says he knows she is disappointed, but he is selfishly happy to have her there in his arms. Hope eavesdrops at the door.

At Bill’s house, Poppy feels terrible. Bill tells her that Will will cool down. Luna says she didn’t mean to cause any trouble.

At Forrester Creations someone knocks on Katie’s office door. She is excited to see Will when she opens it.

At Il Giordino, Deacon and Sheila are glad that Sheila is back from being questioned by the police. Shelia tells him that she agrees that the overdose deaths were probably not accidental.

At Bills house, Bill tells Poppy and Luna that neither of then did anything wrong and that Will should not have behaved that way. Poppy says it was a lot for Will to deal with. She tells him to imagine walking into his childhood home and finding two strangers. Bill tells her that they are not strangers; they are part of the family.
In Katie’s office, Will tells Katie that he didn’t call first because he wanted to surprise her.

On the plane, Brooke tells Ridge not to let Steffi’s absence ruin his trip. He says it won’t, but this trip was important to Steffi. Brooke reminds him that they have an appointment with the prince as soon as they land so they couldn’t wait for Steffi. She is sure that Steffi will make good use of her time in Los Angeles.
Hope goes into Steffi’s office so Finn says he is going to go. Hope says he can stay since he will hear the news anyway. Finn asks, “What news?” Hope can’t wait to tell him that Steffi is threatening to cut funding for Hope’s “Hope for the Future” line.

At Katie’s office, Will tells his mother that he had already been to his father’s house, but that it didn’t go well. He reveals that Bill was in bed and not alone. Katie concludes that must have been awkward. He said it was weird seeing another woman in their house and it made him feel out of place, and then to make matters worse, Bill’s new daughter came in and called Bill “Dad.” He says he knows he was gone for a long time, but who are these people taking over their house and family?

At Bill’s house, Bill tells Luna that Will is going to have to accept the fact that she is Bill’s daughter. Luna doesn’t want to push it on Will. Poppy thinks they should just put it on hold for now. She says she thinks she and Luna should go back to their apartment for now because she doesn’t want to make Will feel uncomfortable in his own home. She says they still have some packing to do anyway.

On the plane, Ridge informs Brooke that they are ahead of schedule and will arrive in Monaco early. Brooke wonders if they will have time for sightseeing before their appointment. He suggests that they go to the hotel. They kiss. She says that since it’s their special little getaway, they can do whatever they want, and make a little time for work. Ridge says Brooke is going to take the world by storm. They kiss some more.

In Steffi’s office, Finn asks Steffi if she is really cutting “Hope for the Future.” Steffi tells Hope that they already have discussed it. Hope says she felt attacked. Steffi says it isn’t her job to make Hope understand; her job is to keep the cash flowing and the lights on, and she doesn’t need to baby Hope. She says the numbers have been steadily trending downward. Finn interjects that he is sure that Steffi will make the right decision for the company, but he can see how it would be upsetting to Hope.

At Katie’s office, she tells Will that she is sorry he didn’t have a better homecoming at his dad’s house. He says he didn’t realize that Luna and Poppy were essentially living at Bill’s house. Will thinks the whole situation is weird. He can’t imagine his father at a music festival, but beyond that, it’s hard to imagine that he spent one night with that lady, and decades later she shows up with a daughter. Katie agrees and says it’s an adjustment for her too. Will concludes that Bill is always putting Katie through something. He says he loves his father, but he will never forget how he disrespected Katie in the past. She says she is ok and doesn’t want Will to think badly of his father. Will says it isn’t that he thinks it’s bad that Bill is taking responsibility for his daughter. Katie surmises that Will is feeling uncertain and says she has a lot of questions too, especially about Poppy.

At Il Giorno, Sheila tells Deacon that the last time she talked to Hollis, he had found Tom’s backpack in the storage room, and she told him to toss it. Now she thinks the backpack might have had a clue as to what happened to Tom and if she had looked in it, she might have been able to prevent Hollis’s death. Deacon tells her not to do that to herself.
Poppy and Luna arrive at their apartment. Luna looks for her tablet and finds a large backpack behind the couch.

In Steffi’s office, Finn says Steffi and Hope both want what’s best for Forrester. Steffi argues that Hope wants what is best for Hope. Hope counters that Steffi is against anything Logan-related and that she has a problem with the line that Brooke created too. Steffi says they aren’t talking about Brooke; they are talking about how poorly Hope’s line is performing. Finn wonders if “Hope for the Future” just needs some time to adjust after the Thomas thing. He says Steffi has every right to be concerned about the numbers and Hope has every right to fight for her line. Steffi tells Hope that it is a business decision; nothing personal. She clarifies that she isn’t going to eliminate the line, but they need to scale it back.

Ridge and Brooke arrive in Monaco and take a drive to a casino. Ridge says he is all in, betting on Brooke.

In Katie’s office, Will says he understands that things change, and life goes on, but he misses his home and his family. Katie thinks studying abroad was a good thing for Will. Will agrees, but he wants to stay in Los Angeles now. Katie says she loves Will more than anything. Will says he isn’t sure if his dad feels the same way now that he has Poppy and Luna in his life.

At IL Giordino, Shiela regrets not listening to Hollis. Deacon tells her that at that point, no one was questioning Tom’s death. Sheila says she was so dismissive and never thought that the backpack could have evidence in it, but she just wanted it out of the restaurant. Deacon supposes that Hollis threw it in the trash. Sheila says she told him to. Deacon concludes the backpack is long gone by now. Sheila thinks it probably had drugs in it that could have led them to the person who killed Tom and Hollis.

At the apartment, Luna looks in the backpack she found behind the sofa. She finds a stack of letters addressed to her mother and proceeds to read them. Poppy goes into the room and asks Luna what she is doing. Luna says the letters are from Tom to Poppy claiming to be Luna’s father. Poppy says Tom was a drug addict and a stalker. Luna realizes that Tom is the person who overdosed at Il Giordino and suddenly suspects her mother.

Steffi receives a text from Ridge informing her that they arrived in Monaco. Steffi wonders if she would have had time to get her passport and make the flight. Finn says he knows Steffi is disappointed. Hope says it won’t be the same without her, but she is sure Ridge and Brooke are getting swept up in the beauty of Monte Carlo.

Someone is lurking in Bill’s house.

Bill and Poppy are in the bedroom. Bill assures Poppy that nothing will tear them apart. As they start to make out, someone opens the bedroom door. Poppy screams.

R.J. and Luna are kissing at in Katie’s office at Forrester. He asks her what it will take to get her to come to his home so they can spend time alone. She says, “soon” and apologizes for spending so much time at home with her parents. She thinks it’s important since they are becoming a family. Katie walks in and says, “That’s wonderful.” She says she hopes Luna’s mother remembers that they aren’t Bill’s only family.

In Steffi’s office, Carter tells Steffi that he thought she was joking about not going to Monaco. He suggests that she take a commercial flight. She says she did check into taking another flight, but it was delayed, and she would miss the meeting with the prince, so she decided not to go at all. Hope, eavesdropping at the door, smiles smugly when Steffi says she can’t believe she lost her passport. Hope goes into Steffi’s office and snarks that her mother and Steffi’s father must be having a nice flight across the Atlantic alone. Carter says he received a text from Ridge asking him to lock in the summit itinerary before they land. Steffi says that’s because it’s a business trip, not a romantic getaway. Carter says the prince’s media liaison will meet them at the jet and escort them to the palace. Hope wonders at Ridge and Brooke’s royal treatment but notes that the prince is a fan of Forrester Creations and especially her mother. Steffi says she would have liked to see The Prince and the “Brookes Bedroom” launch, but since she is staying home, she will focus on other collections, mainly “Hope for the Future.”

In Katie’s office, Luna tells Katie that she doesn’t appreciate her trashing her family and that the accusations that Katie hurled at Poppy were completely uncalled for. R.J. wonders what Katie accused Poppy of. Luna tells R.J. that Katie suggested that Poppy had something to do with the deaths at Il Giordino. R.J. is shocked. Luna says Tom and Hollis both died of tragic drug overdose accidents. Katie asks them what if someone had something to do with it.

Bill pensively approaches the still-ajar bedroom door and opens it to find Will on the other side. Bill is excited to see his son. He tells Poppy that that is his son, Will. Will closes the door and runs away.

In Katie’s office,  R.J. tells Katie that everyone is freaked out about the deaths at Il Giordino, but to call it a murder and blame Luna’s mom is going too far. Katie says she doesn’t want to think about Bill being involved with someone like that. Luna counters, “he isn’t.” Katie says she has to trust her instincts. She says Poppy freaks out every time the subject comes up. Luna suggests Poppy feels attacked. R.J. suggests that it’s not Poppy; its Katie feeling weird about the change in Bill’s life. He reminds her that Bill unsuccessfully tried to win her back for a long time before he moved on. Katie insists that she is not jealous; she’s concerned. She says it happened so quickly. Luna concludes that is what Katie’s real problem is. Katie asks Luna why Poppy waited so long to tell her that Bill Spencer was her father. Luna says her mom did what she felt was best at the time, and she doesn’t hold it against her, especially now that they are so happy.

Katie says Poppy doesn’t seem happy, she seems edgy. Luna says she and her mom have been alone for a long time and this is a big change, but an amazing one. She tells Katie that she and Poppy are not interlopers; they are family and Bill asked them to move in with him because he loves them, and Katie will have to accept that. Katie says goodbye to R.J. and leaves to go home to her parents.

In Bill and Poppy’s bedroom. Poppy buttons her sweater and Bill is upset that Will’s welcome home was waking in on his dad in the bedroom with his girlfriend. Bill throws on a shirt and goes after Will. He finds Will in the living room. They hug. Bill apologizes for what Will walked in on. Will asks his father if that was “her.”

In Steffi’s office, Steffi says she didn’t schedule any meetings today because she thought she would be in Monte Carlo. Hope concludes that Steffi wants to discuss Hope’s line while Ridge is away. Steffi says she and Carter went over “Hope for the Future’s” numbers, and other than the philanthropic tie-in the numbers are down. She says that overall, she thinks the line is in trouble. Hope observes that Steffi didn’t even wait a day before threatening Hope’s line. Carter says it isn’t personal; the numbers don’t lie, and “Hope for the Future” is falling short of projections. Hope protests that there is a preview scheduled and people haven’t seen the new designs yet. Steffi says they aren’t even getting calls about it. She says matter-of-factly that “Hope for the Future’s” time is running out. Hope asks Carter to give her a minute to talk to Steffi privately. Hope tells Steffi that she knows what she is up to, and she is not going to get away with it.

In Katie’s office, Katie tells R.J. that it was not her intention to upset Luna. R.J. asks what her intention was. He concludes that this is his fault because he should not have told Katie about Poppy’s mints. Katie corrects him that they were drugs. R.J. asks Katie why she thinks Poppy had something to do with the overdoses at Il Giordino. She says he has to admit that there is enough evidence to suspect or suggest. She reveals that she found out that Tom Starr was one of the acts that played at the music festival the night that Bill and Luna met and supposedly conceived Luna. R.J. asks Katie if she remembers every band she has ever seen in her life. Katie says this is different. That night was supposedly so magical because she met Bill so she should have remembered every detail, yet she acted like she had never heard of Tom Starr. She says she doesn’t trust Poppy or the way she rapidly moved in with Bill and created an instant family.

At Bill’s house, Will concludes he should have called before he came. Bill disagrees, he says Will doesn’t have to call before coming to his own home. Will repeats his question, “is that her?” Bill says yes and says he wants to introduce them properly. Will thinks now is not a good time. Will asks Bill if it is completely over between him and Katie. Poppy comes into the room and introduces herself to Will. Will says he is going to go but Bill and Poppy both ask him to stay. Luna comes home. Bill introduces the siblings to each other.

In Katie’s office, Katie tells R.J. that Bill is not the ogre that R.J. makes him out to be. She says family is the most important thing to Bill and it is also his biggest blind spot. R.J. asserts that a paternity test proved that Luna is Bill’s daughter. He tells her that her conspiracy theory is not good for her. R.J. says Luna has always wanted to know who her father was and now that she and Bill have found each other, it’s good for everyone. He observes that Will has a sister now.

At Bill’s house, Will and Luna awkwardly greet each other. Bill suggests that they hug. Will isn’t ready for that. Luna concurs. Once again, Will says he is going to go. Bill insists that he stay. Poppy says she and Luna can go to the apartment so Bill and Will can have time alone. Bill forbids it. Poppy doesn’t want Will to feel unwelcome in his own home. Bill tells Will that he wants the four of them to spend some time together getting to know each other. He asks Will if he can’t show some kindness to Luna and her mom. Will retorts that he doesn’t know them. He says its Bill’s deal and he isn’t a part of it. Bill says yes, Will is. Will protests that Poppy and Bill hooked up a long time ago, and now they expect him to act like they are his family. He refuses and leaves.

In Steffi’s office, Steffi asks Hope what she won’t let her get away with. Running the company? Doing what’s best for the business? Steffi tells Hope to look at the documents that Carter left. Hope says she doesn’t need to look at a spreadsheet to know that Steffi has it out for her. She asks Steffi to give her new team time. Steffi says Carter and Zende are talented but might do better working on something else. Hope concludes that Steffi is using her position to attack her and her line. She says she is not going to let Steffi destroy her hard work.

On the airplane, Ridge frets about Steffi making them late for their appointment with the prince in Monaco. Meanwhile at the check-in desk, Steffi rummages through her bags looking for her passport.

In the executive office at Forrester Creations, Hope looks at the passport on the desk and smiles to herself as she recalls being rebuffed by Steffi when she tried to give it to her.

In Li’s office, Katie aggressively asserts that Poppy does drugs. Li asks if Katie is suggesting that Poppy had something to do with the overdoses at Il Giordino.

At Bill’s house, Poppy admits that she had a relationship with Tom Starr. Bill wants to know if Poppy didn’t tell him sooner because Tom could have been Luna’s father.

Katie recaps that Poppy takes drugs and was at a music festival where Tom Starr performed decades ago. She asks Li if she thinks it’s possible that Poppy and her drugs were responsible for Tom and Hollis’s deaths.
Poppy tearfully apologizes to Bill for not telling him sooner. He asks her if Tom really could have been Luna’s father. Poppy says yes, but her heart was always with Bill. Bill says it’s a lot to wrap his head around.

Carter goes to the executive office and sees Hope behind Ridge’s desk. Carter tells Hope that he knows she didn’t want Steffi to go on the trip to Monte Carlo. Hope says that if Steffi wants to be a third wheel, so be it. He says it’s an important business meeting and as co-CEO, Steffi should be there. Hope reluctantly agrees that it would be a shame if Steffi weren’t there.

Ridge calls Steffi. She tells him that she is at the airport, but she can’t find her passport. She tells her father to go to Monaco without her.

Li tells Katie that she wouldn’t give her sister enough credit to be responsible for Tom and Hollis’s deaths. She furthermore assures Katie that Bill is Luna’s father.

Poppy asks Bill to say he understands. Bill says he is still processing it, but that he can’t imagine what she must have gone through raising her daughter on her own while being stalked by a washed-up rocker who thought he was her daughter’s father. He says he understands her not wanting her to have Tom in Luna’s life. Poppy hugs Bill. She promises never to keep anything from Bill again and assures him that she always believed Bill was Luna’s father. Bill hugs Poppy.

Li tells Katie that she understands her frustration and disappointment. Katie wonders why Li can’t see the truth. Li reminds Katie that she insisted on administering the DNA test herself to be sure. She tells Katie that the truth is that Poppy and Luna are now a part of the Spencer family.

Poppy tells Bill that she wouldn’t blame him if he questioned his paternity. He says he doesn’t doubt the accuracy of the DNA test knowing how much Li had wanted it to be negative. Poppy admits that she held a grudge because Bill never called her or tried to find her, and that her walls were up when she reconnected with him, but he has broken down her walls by being a kind, generous man to both her and Luna. He says he isn’t sure he deserves all of that praise, but that Poppy and Luna mean a lot to him, and he realizes that it must have been difficult for her to tell him about that guy from her past. he says he imagines she must have wondered if fielding Katies questions was worth it. She says she never did. Bill tells Poppy that Katie is just being protective because they share a son. He tells her to know that he believes her and that he is still there for her.

On the plane, Ridge tells Brooke that he feels terrible that Steffi didn’t make the flight.

In Ridge and Steffi’s office, Carter tells Hope that he hoped Steffi and Brooke can play nice. Hope says she thinks everything will be alright. Carter thinks being on the French Riviera can bring people to get along, and that certainly, they will be on their good behavior in front of the prince. Carter apologizes for upsetting Hope earlier, and clarifies that Ridge, Brooke, and Steffi representing Forrester together feels right. Hope says she agrees with that. He leaves to attend a meeting.

Steffi returns to her office to find Hope there. Hope asks Steffi if she shouldn’t be on a jet to Monaco.
On the plane, Ridge tells Brooke that he knows how much Steffi wanted to go to Monaco. Brooke says they are on the way, and it will be a magical trip for just the two of them.

Steffi finds her passport in the office. She confirms to Hope that yes, she did miss the flight. She says Hope got what she wanted; Ridge and Brook are headed to Monaco without her.

Li tells Katie that she is not her sister’s biggest fan, but she knows she is not a murderer. She says that if any foul play was involved, it must have been perpetrated by Sheila Carter. Katie says Katie has already been questioned by the police and released. Li concludes that if there is a killer, they are still at large.

Someone is lurking in Bill’s house.

In the bedroom, Poppy concludes to Bill that she should have confided in him sooner. Bill says it’s ok with him if they never speak of Tom again. Poppy gushes over how grateful she is that Bill turned out to be such an amazing person and amazing father. She says he was the missing piece in her life, and she is happy that they are a family. He says he is happy about that too and says once again that nothing is going to tear them apart. They start making out.

Someone opens the bedroom door.

Poppy screams.
