Sheila: Kelly came to where I work.
Steffy: Kelly is off limits. We all are. We don’t exist to you. You mean nothing to us.
Hollis: Hey, boss. Is that the new ‘cab?
Deacon: Yes, it is. It was not easy to get.
Hollis: Good stuff. I’ll get it in the system.
Deacon: Great, um– was sheila in the kitchen?
Hollis: Uh, I didn’t see her back there.
Deacon: Tanya called in sick. Sheila was supposed to fill in for her.
Hollis: Yeah, I mean, she was here earlier, but I don’t know where she went.
Liam: I’m saying if the interview went really well, then let’s follow up on that, because if their ceo is on the cover, forrester is more likely to buy ad space. Do you understand? That’s– okay. Thank you. Thank you, jordan.
Bill: Heard you were in the building.
Liam: Uh, hi. What are you, uh, what are you– what are you– what are you doing here?
Bill: Had lunch with katie. We had some things to discuss regarding will.
Liam: Oh, okay.
Bill: You have plans with steffy?
Liam: What, um– uh, no, well, I– I saw her at her place this morning. So, not really.
Bill: Yet, here you are, staring at her picture.
Liam: This is, no– I– no– I was on the phone, I was on the phone, right before, I was on the phone with jordan, talking about forrester.
Bill: Why– why– why are you stuttering?
Liam: I’m not– I’m not,
Bill: This is, no, no, no. You see, I know that look. Because it’s the look that I get when I’m thinking about money, you, you are thinking about steffy. Can’t hide your love for her, can you?
Liam: I do love steffy, I’ve made no effort to hide that, thank you, and no, it’s not gonna change.
Bill: But something has. You said you saw steffy. What’s going on?
Liam: Just, I’m worried about her.
Bill: Let me guess. Sheila?
Liam: Yeah, sheila. Sheila and her obsession with finn.
[ Cell phone rings ]
Finn: Hey, lucy.
Lucy: Oh, finn, I’m so glad you picked up.
Finn: Everything okay?
Lucy: I took the kids to get some pizza at il giardino.
Finn: Where’s kelly? Is she okay?
Lucy: She’s fine, she’s with me at the house. Steffy found out, she had me leave immediately. I– I hope I didn’t do anything wrong.
Finn: No need to apologize. Uh, thank you for taking care of kelly.
Lucy: Steffy seemed upset. Like she was heading to il giardino. She’s not answering now.
Finn: Hey, lucy, is it okay if kelly stays with you a little bit longer?
Lucy: Of course.
Finn: Steffy or I will be in touch with you soon.
Sheila: Who do you think you are?
Steffy: I’m the woman standing in the way between you and my family.
Sheila: And what the hell are you talking about? You come into my home, you attack me, and I’m the danger?
Steffy: You need to be taught a lesson.
Sheila: Oh, if anyone needs to be taught a lesson, sweetheart, it’s you. Hey… it’s me! Your dry skin!
Bill: Nobody’s underestimating sheila as a threat.
Liam: Really? ‘Cause she’s not in prison right now. I mean, in fact, she hasn’t suffered a single consequence for anything that she’s done. I mean, look at everything that she’s done. Look at all the trauma she caused for steffy and her family. Where’s the justice there?
Bill: In her pocket. With that slime ball judge who let her walk?
Liam: See, this is– this is what I’m saying. It’s so backwards. Here is steffy, who has to walk around, paranoid, watching her back all the time and sheila gets to just walk free wherever she wants without a care in the damn world.
Bill: I wish she’d just go somewhere. Anywhere but here.
Liam: Oh, yeah, and leave her precious son, finn? That’s– that’s not gonna happen, right? Sheila’s gonna stay here. She’s gonna stay here in L.A. Forever. Until she convinces everyone that– that she’s changed.
Bill: I don’t blame you for being worried, liam. And I don’t blame you for wanting to help. You’re a spencer. Spencer’s protect the people they love.
Liam: Yeah, I know. It’s not just steffy, though.
Bill: I know, I know. It’s my granddaughter as well.
Liam: I’m always gonna worry about kelly, even if I’m not with her. And this is what drives me insane, because right now, kelly could be at the house, right? And sheila could be just lurking outside, looking through the window, right at her.
Deacon: Hollis, you said you saw sheila earlier today.
Hollis: Yeah, I called in perry to cover, and I guess when he got here, sheila left.
Deacon: Did you see her take off?
Hollis: No. Why, did you need her to stick around?
Deacon: She’s just kind of hard to pin down lately, and frankly, it makes me nervous when she just disappears.
Finn: Hey, deacon. Where’s steffy?
Deacon: Uh, I don’t know. I haven’t seen her. What’s going on?
Finn: Look, kelly was here with a friend and her mom. Steffy found out, told the mom to get the kids out of here, but now i can’t– I can’t reach her.
Deacon: Wait a sec. Is kelly missing?
Finn: No, kelly’s fine, but it sounds like steffy rushed over here.
Deacon: I haven’t seen her.
Finn: What about sheila?
Deacon: I’m kind of trying to find her too.
Sheila: Why are you here, steffy? I didn’t come to your home. I didn’t come to bother you.
Steffy: Your existence bothers me.
Sheila: Well, you’re not making this easy, are you? Now, you come here, you threaten me, you punch me. How many times do I have to tell you I am not a threat to you or your family?
Steffy: I’m never gonna believe that. I know how obsessed you are with finn.
Sheila: Finn is my son, and I love him. I have other children. I have deacon. I have my job here at il giardino, and I am just trying to lead a good, simple life, and you just won’t let that happen.
Steffy: Stop acting like a victim.
Sheila: I was working. What happened was innocent. I– I did not lure kelly here. And was I happy to see her? Yes. What I can’t be happy to see my son’s stepchild?
Steffy: No. No, you can’T.
Sheila: She wasn’t afraid of me.
Steffy: Neither am I. That’s what I want you to understand. I’m not intimidated or fooled. I know exactly who you are. Underneath all the excuses is just a sick, demented criminal who should never be allowed near people again.
Life doesn’t stop for a cold.
Bill: Steffy’s not gonna let sheila anywhere near her kids. You know that.
Liam: Well, sheila might have other ideas.
Bill: She better think again. Steffy is not going to play when it comes to kelly and hayes.
Liam: But that’s– see, but that’s the difference. I trust steffy to protect them, but this is sheila carter we’re talking about, right? This is not a rational actor. There’s no telling what she’s gonna do next or how she’s gonna react to being shut out.
Bill: She’s not gonna like it.
Liam: She’s not gonna like it. In fact, it could provoke her.
Bill: I’ve been keeping an eye on sheila. And if she steps out of line, she’s gonna regret it.
Liam: Right. But that’s the problem. Because even you, even you, you can’t have eyes on her all the time. Steffy doesn’t want to live with guards around the clock. I don’t want to just sit around waiting for something to happen, right? I wanna do everything in my power to protect steffy at all costs. But there’s only so much I can do… if steffy is still married to finn.
Finn: Have you been here all day?
Deacon: I had a meeting earlier. I mean, I wasn’t gone long.
Waiter: Excuse me. Hollis said you were looking for sheila.
Deacon: Yeah. You know where she is?
Waiter: Pretty sure she went back to your apartment.
Deacon: Okay.
Waiter: At least, that’s where I told the other lady to find her.
Finn: Wait, what lady?
Deacon: Wait, someone was looking for sheila?
Waiter: Yeah, good-looking brunette. One of the hostess’ said it was steffy forrester.
Sheila: I am so sick of you interfering in my life. Telling me what I deserve, where I belong.
Steffy: If you don’t like it, sheila, you can go. Leave L.A.
Sheila: No, because L.A. Is my home. I have a life here. I have deacon. I have my family.
Steffy: My family. Not yours. You’re not one of us, sheila. You never will be.
Sheila: And you won’t even let me. You won’t even let me dream that I could have that kind of happiness. You want to see me suffer.
Steffy: Like I did? Mourning my husband? Watching the life drain out of him in the alley?
Sheila: Then, why was he there, steffy? You keep blaming me, but you were the one attacking me. You came after me, just like you’re doing now.
Steffy: You think I want to be here, sheila? Really? This makes me sick. Seeing you lounging around, reading your magazines and doing your nails. You should be rotting in a prison cell ’til you die.
Sheila: You’d like that, wouldn’t you? God, that’s what you want. You want to see me dead, don’t you?
Steffy: It’s the only way my family will be free of you. When you’re dead. And buried. And we’re finally rid of you. So yeah, sheila. I’m looking forward to that. In fact, I hope that day comes very, very soon. – Bye, bye cough. – Later chest congestion.
Liam: Steffy may not wanna make the connection, but we know. We know what sheila’s after here.
Bill: A relationship with her son, whether finn wants one or not.
Liam: That’s exactly right. And when finn turns her away, sheila blames steffy. And that puts steffy more at risk. And I– I can’t stand for that. I mean, do you– when you talk to steffy. You can just– you can feel the stress, the toll it’s taking on her. I mean, yeah, she’s tough. Yeah, she’s strong. But she’s still– she’s still allowed to be afraid. Do you know how many times she texts me when I’m out with kelly just to check in, just to make sure we’re okay, just to make sure that nothing bad has happened yet? The woman can’t relax. Not even for a second. Doesn’t matter if she’s home or she’s out or kelly’s with her or with me. She can’t let her guard down for a second. And she deserves to have that. Right? I want steffy to be happy. And she can’t as long as sheila is in the picture. And I just– I love steffy so much. And I– I wish– I– I wish I could protect her from all of this.
Bill: I’m proud of you, liam. Steffy’s lucky to have you.
Liam: She’ll have me for life.
[ Cell phone dings ]
Bill: Uh, I’ve got to get to a meeting.
Liam: Yeah.
Bill: I’ll see you back at the office?
Liam: I’ll see you back at the office, yeah. Thanks, dad. After everything that’s happened, I just– I just want you to know I’m here for you whenever, wherever. I’m here for you. Steffy, hey, steffy. Okay, okay, okay, okay.
Steffy: You rescued me in more than one way today. You know, I– I just– I thought you were incredible before, but you know what? I wonder if people will talk about us that way. Our undeniable connection.
Liam: Yeah, they will. We made it, steffy. We made it. I’m not giving up on you, steffy.
Sheila: You want me dead.
Steffy: I want to be free of you.
Sheila: What and rob my son from any opportunity to know me?
Steffy: You put a bullet in him, sheila. You terrorized my family, my grandparents, my parents. And now my children.
Sheila: I want you to accept me. That’s all I wanted.
Steffy: I’m never gonna accept you.

Sheila: By what, by poisoning finn against me and trying to get your kids to fear me?

Deacon: Sheila, no! Come on. What the hell? Sheila, come here. Oh, my god, sheila!
Sheila: She came here. She attacked me.
Steffy: You attacked me!
Sheila: She attacked me.
Finn: No, no, no.
Steffy: Oh, god. You. You.
Sheila: No, I didn’t do anything. I said hello.
Steffy: You stay away from kelly. Stay away from her.
Sheila: I would never do anything to hurt my granddaughter.
Steffy: She’s not your granddaughter!
Sheila: Look at her! I’m so sorry. I’m so sorry, you’re seeing this. She’s overreacting. I didn’t do this. She came here. She was banging on the door, threatening me.
Steffy: I was protecting my family.
Sheila: No!
Steffy: Like I said, you stay away from my family.
Sheila: I have been. I’ve been– ever since that day on the beach when I saved kelly. I followed your wishes. What else can I do? I saved kelly.
Steffy: Do not listen to her.
Sheila: Okay, okay. I’ve made mistakes. I’ve made terrible mistakes. But do I deserve to die? Because that’s what she said. She says she wants me gone. She wants your mother dead.
