Days of Our Lives Update

Stefan and Gabi kiss in the living room of the DiMera Mansion. Gabi hopes this is not too good to be true and it’s actually real. Stefan assures that it is and that it will keep happening for the rest of their lives. Gabi talks about how she’s missed this. They continue kissing until EJ walks in and complains that this is a common residence for everyone who lives here. Gabi reminds EJ that they have business to discuss. EJ says it will have to wait but Gabi doesn’t think it should. Gabi warns that it has to do with her consulting EJ’s performance and she’d like to show him her notes.

Eric surprises Sloan with a rose in the town square. They kiss as Eric calls her his girlfriend. Eric says now that they are officially a couple, he figured it was time for him to step up in the romance department. Sloan jokes that she doesn’t usually go for the big romantic gestures but for him, she’ll make an exception. Eric and Sloan kiss as Nicole walks through the town square and looks annoyed when she sees them.

Paulina sits at home in the dark until Chanel comes home and questions why she’s in the dark. Paulina responds that she was meditating. Chanel questions when she started that. Paulina explains that Talia recommended it for her panic attacks and she was skeptical at first but it actually works and her anxiety levels are way down. Chanel is glad Talia was able to help. Paulina tells her to thank her next time she sees her. Chanel reveals that would be tonight as she and Talia are going on a date which surprises Paulina.

Talia gets dressed after being in bed with Colin. Colin comments on how beautiful and sexy she is, then remarks that Chanel will not be able to resist her. Colin knows this is difficult for her, but says it means so much to him. Talia knows he keeps saying that. Colin wishes shutting down the bakery was enough and he doesn’t want to make Talia unhappy, but since the legal system won’t punish Chanel for killing his mother and driving his father to drink himself to death, he had to take on the responsibility himself as he had no other choice. Talia says she gets that and she knows they’ve gone over this. Talia feels the plan is all sorts of twisted as he’s asking her to seduce Chanel and then break her heart. Colin knows it will be challenging because of her kind heart, but he has faith in her and her ability to do whatever she sets her mind to which is why he knows she can handle this. Talia admits that she doesn’t think that she can.

Jada storms in to the Brady Pub as Rafe follows her, asking her to calm down so they can think this through. Jada questions what is to think about when they heard what the hardware store owner said and that he remembered Talia making a copy of a key on the same day that Paulina’s office was broken in to. Rafe points out that it’s all just a theory and they don’t have any proof yet. Jada argues that when they factor in everything else, it’s pretty clear that the person who has been targeting Chanel and Paulina is her very own sister. Rafe questions why Talia would go after Paulina and Chanel when she didn’t even know them before moving to Salem, so he asks what possible motive she could have. Jada wishes she knew. Rafe argues that they could be completely off base here. Jada asks what if they are not and if Talia is the one who trashed Paulina’s office, sent the threatening text messages, and drugged the biscuits which is a felony that she could go to prison for. Rafe encourages Jada to relax and not get ahead of herself because there’s still a lot they don’t know. Jada feels they know enough. Jada adds that Paulina and Chanel didn’t start getting harassed until the time that Talia showed up in town. Rafe notes that it also coincides with the time that Sloan vowed revenge on them. Jada brings up Sloan’s alibi which Rafe calls shaky at best. Rafe reminds Jada that she told Abe that they need to look at this with an open mind so instead of focusing on one suspect, the culprit could be someone they haven’t even thought of.

Colin questions Talia saying she can’t handle it and asks if she’s saying she’s not going to help him anymore. Talia complains that she doesn’t like deliberately hurting someone like this and she doesn’t understand why he’s so cool with her being with someone else. Colin admits he hates the idea but argues that there’s no other way for this to work. Talia argues that Chanel likes guys too, so he could be the one to seduce her. Colin argues that he would if that made any sense but she knows that’s too risky, because if anyone knew he was in town, he would be the number one suspect for everything that has happened so not even his sister Sloan can know that he’s in town. Colin bets Chanel is already on her way to falling for Talia. Talia complains that it just makes her feel worse and she just wants this scheming to be over, so they can go back to being them. Colin assures that they are almost there and once Chanel feels a fraction of the pain that she put his family through, he will able to move on because he will have honored his parents’ memory by getting justice for them. Talia promises she knows how much that means to him and says she better get going because she has to change for her date. Colin tells Talia that he loves her. Talia says she loves him too and then exits.

Paulina questions Chanel dating Talia. Chanel says it’s technically their first date, but if it goes well, there could be more. Paulina calls that interesting. Chanel calls Talia an adorable and gorgeous woman. Paulina says she just assumed Talia was straight. Chanel admits that she thought that too but then today, Talia kissed her out of the blue. Chanel says she thought they were vibing for awhile but she wasn’t sure and thinks Talia was hesitant about expressing it because she had only dated men before. Paulina jokes about Chanel having a superpower of turning straight girls in to bisexuals. Chanel jokes that she can’t help it. Paulina asks if she’s sure she is ready to start dating again. Paulina knows how much Chanel loved Allie and they only broke up a couple months ago, so she’s worried that it might be too soon for her and she’s still too vulnerable. Chanel admits she misses Allie like crazy since she was her best friend and her girlfriend, but she’s tired of sitting around being sad about it. Chanel feels she deserves to have some fun for a change. Paulina agrees but worries about Chanel throwing herself into another relationship before she’s worried, because she’s too vulnerable. Paulina adds that the last thing she wants is for Chanel to get her heart broken all over again…

Jada knows what Rafe is saying makes sense about Talia having a lack of motive. Rafe understands she’s still freaked out that she might be guilty. Rafe encourages Jada to take a deep breath and give herself time to think about things clearly. Jada says it’s just hard when it’s so close to home. Rafe understands and assures that they will get through this together as he holds her hand. Talia then walks in to the Pub and greets them. Talia informs Jada that she won’t be home for dinner as she’s hanging out with Chanel, so she’s going to get dressed. Jada tells her to have fun. Talia tells them to have fun too but Jada then stops Talia and says she needs to ask her something first. Jada then asks Talia if she trashed Paulina’s office.

Eric and Sloan kiss until Sloan gets a text that she has to go meet a client. Sloan asks for a rain check on their night of romance. Eric tells her to call him before she turns in. Sloan agrees to and then walks away. Nicole comes around the corner and runs in to Eric.

EJ tells Gabi that this is a waste of time as everyone knows it’s a farce and just an underhanded way to get Gabi back in the company. Stefan disagrees and calls Gabi a very successful business woman while EJ calls her a money grubbing, bottom feeder who is not qualified to criticize his job performance. Gabi calls EJ’s arrogance one of his weaknesses. Gabi says she spoke to a few people at the company who described EJ as rude and tyrannical. EJ accuses her of lying and making this up. Gabi calls EJ’s management skills a disaster and mocks his cologne, remarking that if she had to grade him, she would give him an F-. EJ tells Gabi to write up whatever she wants in her report because nobody gives a damn what she thinks. Stefan thinks the board will be very interested and will want to address several issues before it’s too late. EJ reminds Stefan that he’s not the only one being evaluated as Nicole has been evaluating Stefan’s performance as well. EJ calls for Nicole to come in but Gabi informs him that she’s not home as she went shopping. EJ says when she gets home, he will have her present her findings. EJ decides he’s going to get some air because he’s had enough of them and their childish games. Gabi jokes with Stefan about having fun.

Nicole questions Eric being with Sloan as she remembers him saying that they had stopped seeing each other. Eric says they had but they managed to work things out. Nicole brings up Sloan finding them in bed together. Eric says Sloan understood they were drugged and not seeing things clearly. Nicole guesses they weren’t exclusive since Eric said it was just casual. Eric reveals that’s not the case anymore as he and Sloan have decided to give a shot to having a real relationship.

Chanel tells Paulina that it’s early for her to be worrying about her getting hurt when it’s only a first date. Paulina feels Chanel tends to move a little fast. Chanel asks if she’s calling her a ho. Paulina clarifies that she meant relationship wise and brings up Chanel marrying Xander just hours after meeting him and then also marrying Johnny DiMera a few months after dating and then a few months after that, she moved in with Allie. Chanel admits she falls quickly but promises to take things slow with Talia. Paulina says that’s all she asks, pointing out that she hasn’t known Talia that long. Chanel questions Paulina seeming skeptical of Talia when she was just singing her praises. Paulina remarks that they both know that people aren’t always what they seem…

Talia questions what Jada said. Rafe suggests this isn’t a good time. Jada explains that she and Rafe think someone had Paulina’s key copied. Talia questions why she thinks that was her. Jada points out that Talia was with Paulina and Chanel on the day that her office was vandalized, so she had the opportunity to do it. Talia insists that she didn’t do it. Jada then reveals that she and Rafe just spoke to the hardware store owner, who identified Talia as having a key made that day. Jada questions how she explains that.

Colin sits at the bar, wearing a cap to hide himself. Sloan then enters the bar.

Talia says she can’t believe this and asks if Jada seriously thinks she could do something so horrible. Rafe states that they aren’t accusing her of anything and are just asking questions. Talia argues that they obviously think she’s guilty. Rafe says they are exploring any and all angles. Talia remarks that she thought she was Jada’s sister. Jada says that’s why she can talk to her. Jada asks if the hardware store owner was right in identifying her picture and if she made a copy of the key that day. Talia then admits that she did but claims it was a copy of a key to their room upstairs because Jada kept saying she needed her own key but kept putting it off and she didn’t think their system was very safe. Rafe questions what system. Jada explains that she’s been using her own key under the mat so that Talia could get in because she hasn’t had time to get it done. Talia says that’s why she did it herself. Jada points out that was weeks ago and questions her not saying anything until now. Talia claims she kept forgetting. Jada argues that she’s been forgetting a lot of things lately. Talia tells Jada that she can go use it upstairs or on Paulina’s office if she doesn’t believe her. Jada agrees that they should go try it upstairs just for the record. Talia says that’s fine by her, but she’s telling the truth. Talia argues that Paulina and Chanel have been so kind to her and questions why she would want to hurt them. Rafe repeats that they are just exploring any and all angles. Talia thought her sister of all people would know that she’s not a horrible person and that she would never do something like this. Jada and Talia then head upstairs.

Chanel tells Paulina that she is going to get ready for her date. Paulina asks what they have planned. Chanel says they will have dinner at the bistro and maybe a movie in the square, then jokes that maybe they will elope at city hall. Chanel tells Paulina that she loves her and appreciates her looking out for her all the time. Paulina tells her to have fun. Chanel notes that she and Talia already get along so well, so she’s sure they will have fun. Chanel comments that the one good thing about the bakery being closed is that she can stay out as long as she wants, so she guesses she found one thing that she can thank Sloan for. Paulina advises her to keep Sloan out of her mind tonight. Chanel agrees to try and then goes to get ready.

Sloan meets her client at the bar. She says she just wanted to be prepared and go over her testimony one more time. Sloan encourages her to just tell the truth and let her handle the rest. Sloan adds that she’s been doing this for a long time, so she’s in good hands. Colin remains seated nearby and watches on.

Nicole questions what Eric means by he and Sloan having a real relationship. Eric responds that they are now exclusive. Nicole argues that anyone who knows him wouldn’t think this makes sense and remarks that she’ll probably be on her way to prison before long. Eric is tired of explaining to everyone that Sloan had nothing to do with what’s going on with Paulina and Chanel. Eric adds that Sloan was with him all night, so she had nothing to do with drugging the biscuits. Nicole asks if he had his eyes on her every second. Nicole complains that she’s just concerned because even after everything they have been through, she still cares about him and if he’s serious about Sloan. Eric assures that he will be fine and starts to walk away but Nicole stops him. Nicole asks Eric to just do her a favor and please ask Sloan not to tell anyone about what happened between them while under the influence because she’s afraid of EJ finding out and blowing it out of proportion when she doesn’t need the drama, especially since them making love was because of the drugs. Nicole asks if that’s right. Eric agrees that it was because of the drugs.

Jada returns downstairs to Rafe and tells him that the key worked. Rafe asks if that’s a good thing. Jada says it might have been if she hadn’t already blurted out her suspicions. Rafe asks what happened to thinking things through. Jada says she intended to but then the words just started coming out and she couldn’t stop herself. Jada is sure Talia is furious with her. Jada wants to go back and talk with her but Rafe stops her and says this is very emotional for her and her instincts are off, so she should just wait until tomorrow morning. Jada agrees to giving Talia time to cool off. Talia then comes downstairs so Jada calls out to her, asking if they can talk this out but Talia keeps walking and exits the Pub.

Sloan finishes going over her client’s testimony and says she did perfect and to do that in court tomorrow. Colin continues listening in as the client tells Sloan that she’s heard rumors of charges against her and asks if she should be looking for a backup lawyer. Sloan says absolutely not and that they have nothing to worry about. Sloan argues that the police have no case against her because she’s innocent. Sloan adds that she doesn’t know who is after Paulina and Chanel, but it certainly isn’t her. Colin then gets a text from Talia, telling him that her sister just accused her of breaking in to Paulina’s office. Colin texts her back, questioning why.

Talia sits at the Bistro and texts Colin back that she’ll explain later as she was able to lie her way out of it but wonders if she should call off her date. Colin texts her back, assuring that she’s got this. Talia responds that she’s so nervous and worries about Chanel figuring out that this is all a charade or sensing that she’s not in to women. Chanel then arrives at the Bistro.

Stefan tells Gabi that he’s going for a run by the lake, joking that he has to stay in shape for her. Stefan invites her to join him. Gabi says she’d love to but she wants to send her report in as soon as possible since it’s fun to get under EJ’s skin. Stefan notes that they should expect some pushback since EJ gives as good as he gets. Gabi assures they can hold their own, outsmart, outshine, and run circles around EJ and Nicole. Stefan says they will, but this can’t go on forever, and eventually they are going to oust EJ from DiMera for good.

Sloan runs in to EJ outside of the Brady Pub. Sloan doesn’t think they have been properly introduced. EJ says it’s nice to meet her, though it feels like they’ve already met since he recalls they spent a painfully awkward Valentine’s Day where their dates spent a lot of time trying to ignore each other. Sloan agrees that was extremely painful, although not half as painful as the other day when she caught Eric and Nicole in bed together which shocks EJ.

Nicole tells Eric that she should go, but first she just wants to stay that in spite of how she feels about Sloan, she hopes they work out. Nicole knows she’s said this for many years but she repeats that she just wants him to be happy. Eric tells her the same, even if it’s with EJ. Nicole then walks away.

EJ questions what Sloan said about catching Nicole and Eric in bed together. Sloan apologizes as she assumed that he knew.

Rafe reminds Jada that they are splitting the french fries but Jada says she’s no longer hungry. Jada asks what Rafe thought about Talia’s story about her room key. Rafe says it mostly made sense. Jada finds it strange that Talia never said anything before about it. Rafe keeps going back to Talia not having a motive and questions why she would go after Paulina and Chanel.

Colin approaches Sloan’s client, Connie, at the bar and introduces himself as Logan. He says he overheard her conversation and understands that her lawyer may have a bit of legal trouble. Connie talks about hoping she can trust Sloan. Colin assures that he’s positive that she’s innocent and calls it just a feeling, remarking that he’s been told that he’s an excellent judge of character.

Chanel and Talia hug and compliment each other’s outfits. They say they are glad they are doing this. Chanel knows dating women is new for her so there is no pressure or expectations at all and they can just take things slow which she thinks would be good for both of them. Talia thanks her and says she appreciates that. They then look at the menu to decide what to order.

EJ questions Sloan about Eric and Nicole being in bed together. Sloan explains that it was the drugged biscuits so it wasn’t planned or anything and that’s why she thought Nicole would’ve told him. EJ confirms that she did not. Sloan repeats that it was the drugs and meant nothing. Sloan adds that she’s not losing sleep over it, so he shouldn’t either. EJ thanks her for the heads up as Sloan then walks away. EJ sits down on the bench and thinks back to overhearing Nicole saying she didn’t want EJ to know their secret on the phone. EJ realizes Nicole’s secret was that she slept with Eric. Eric then comes around the corner.

Nicole goes home to the DiMera Mansion where Gabi asks if EJ tracked her down. Nicole says no and asks why. Gabi explains that EJ was upset about the performance review she gave him and complains that he doesn’t know how to take constructive criticism. Nicole bets it was real constructive. Gabi says the board will be very interested to hear what she has to say as she was just about to send in her scathing review. Nicole responds that she’ll also be sending them her scathing review of Stefan. Nicole pulls out her laptop but then begins suffering stomach pains, causing Gabi to ask if she’s alright.

Days of Our Lives Update

Maggie is working at the Titan office as Alex arrives and apologizes for being late. Maggie questions if he doesn’t even have an excuse. Alex admits that he was with Gwen. Maggie stops him and complains that he has the nerve to tell her that he couldn’t make it to work because he was having a booty call with Gwen. Alex clarifies that he was telling her that he was telling Gwen that their booty calls are over.

Leo tells Gwen that he hates seeing her look so glum and he wants to be there for her. Leo relates that he would feel the same if Alex cut him off too. Gwen argues that is not what she’s upset about. Leo says he didn’t want to bring that up and knows she’s obsessing over Xander. Gwen asks if he’s sure that Xander and Chloe are really moving in together. Leo wishes it wasn’t so, but he saw it with his own eyes and they actually got the apartment. Leo adds that before they decided on it, Brady showed up to the same apartment and he was hellbent on talking Chloe out of it.

Brady tells Chloe that he knows things have been challenging for them but questions what kind of friendship she could have with Xander. Brady brings up all the enemies that Xander has made, including Chloe at one point, and doesn’t understand why she would want to make a home with him. Chloe admits that she’s lonely and Xander is good company. Brady argues that Xander is moving in with her and footing the bill because he’s expecting something to happen between them. Brady warns Chloe not to make this mistake that they both know she will regret.

Xander walks down the hall at his motel and sees Colin going back to his room. Xander stops and comments that he thought that was Talia’s room.

At the Bakery, Talia kisses Chanel until Chanel pulls away and questions why she did that. Talia thinks back to Colin instructing her to break Chanel’s heart. Chanel asks Talia again why she kissed her.

Jada goes to Rafe’s office and says she just reviewed Paulina’s statement with her. Rafe asks if she got something. Jada says maybe as it turns out that Sloan did have an opportunity to get Paulina’s keys, but she’s not the only one as it turns out that Talia had the same opportunity. Rafe questions Jada really thinking her sister had something to do with this. Jada says she’s just gathering all the facts and not rushing to judgment. Jada goes over that Talia ran in to Paulina in the town square. Rafe talks about how Sloan has made it clear that she is continuing her vendetta against Paulina and Chanel. Rafe adds that Sloan also had motive to trash Paulina’s office while Talia did not. Rafe feels Talia has no reason whatsoever to want to hurt Paulina and that she works for Chanel and they get along great.

Talia apologizes and guesses she was just caught in the moment. Chanel says she wasn’t asking for an apology. Talia says that Chanel has been upset with everything going on and she doesn’t want to take advantage of that. Chanel says it’s okay and just kind of surprised her as she didn’t’ even know Talia was in to girls. Talia says she’s not or at least she wasn’t until now. Talia admits she’s only dated guys before and talks about physical attraction. Talia says there is no denying there’s chemistry between them. Talia claims it wasn’t pre-meditated and that Chanel was in her arms and that kissing her just felt like it was supposed to happen. Chanel admits that it felt right to her too. Talia brings up that Chanel just broke up with her girlfriend so maybe it’s too soon to do something with her, but Chanel says maybe it isn’t.

Colin claims to Xander that he doesn’t know Talia so he must have the wrong room. Xander recalls he definitely seeing Talia since he lives down the hall and he bumped in to her recently, coming out of that room.

Chloe appreciates Brady’s concern but says if moving in with Xander is a mistake then it’s her mistake to make. Brady argues that it affects him too because he loves her. Chloe cries that she loves him too, but she thinks it’s time for them to admit that in their case, love is not enough. Brady questions what she is saying. Chloe responds that they are over. Brady argues that she doesn’t mean that. Chloe argues that they both know they’ve been done for awhile and have just been in denial about it. Chloe talks about Rachel hating her and Brady having to put her feelings first. Chloe doesn’t blame him for that as she’s a mom too and understands prioritizing the child. Brady argues that Rachel is a kid and won’t always feel this way. Brady says Rachel will realize that Chloe makes him happy. Chloe feels it won’t matter since Rachel also sees her as the person who makes her mother miserable. Chloe talks about Kristen making Rachel believe that she is the only thing standing in the way of them being a happy family. Brady questions letting Kristen win. Chloe says nobody wins in this since Kristen got Rachel to hate her, but Kristen didn’t get Brady to fall back in love with her. Chloe adds that Rachel got her away from Brady but she didn’t get her parents back together. Chloe talks about Brady having hope and joy but watching that get eaten away because he can’t stand seeing his daughter suffer. Chloe feels indirectly responsible for that pain and says she can’t in good conscience continue with that.

Gwen can’t believe Xander and Chloe are moving in together. Gwen calls Chloe boring and humorless with no spark. Gwen thought Chloe hated Xander because he left her with a Mexican drug lord. Gwen argues that the sudden 180 makes no sense. Gwen continues to complain about Chloe and questions why everything is such a struggle. Gwen screams in to a pillow as Leo encourages her to let it all out. Leo points out that it is a two bedroom apartment which Gwen acknowledges is a good thing. Leo then notes the second bedroom could be an office or a gym which makes Gwen scream again. Leo encourages they get tequila and ice cream to get through this but Gwen stops him from ordering room service.

Colin tells Xander that he doesn’t know what he thinks he saw, but this is his room and he’s sure he would notice if some random girl came in and out of it. Xander is sure it’s the room that he saw Talia come out of. Colin questions if he’s the hotel detective.

Rafe asks Jada where this is coming from and if Talia has done anything before to make her suspect her. Jada says no and admits it’s hard to come up with a reason for why Talia would want to hurt Chanel or her family, but she knows she needs to look at all the possibilities. Jada states that both Talia and Sloan had the opportunity to steal Paulina’s keys when they were left unattended. Rafe won’t argue with her logic but thinks he may have found a hole in her theory.

Chanel tells Talia that she was talking to Rafe in his office and he had a picture of Allie and Henry on his desk that she had just sent to him. Chanel adds that Rafe didn’t answer when she asked if Allie was seeing someone in New Zealand so she obviously is. Talia says she’s sorry. Chanel says she’s not surprised but that’s why the health department shutting them down is only part of the reason that the day is so rough for her. Talia asks if Chanel and Allie were pretty serious. Chanel says they were, but then they hit a rough patch and she thought they would work it out but then she caught her with Alex and that was the end of them.

Alex assures Maggie that he and Gwen are done seeing each other. Alex explains that he started therapy with Marlena, who helped him realize that all of his sleeping around was his way of avoiding commitment. Maggie is glad to hear that he sees that. Alex declares that as of now, he’s putting all his energy in to his commitment at Titan and will show her that he’s dead serious in doing his part in contributing to the growth and success of the family business. Maggie then gets a call from Victor and notes that he sounds upset. Maggie asks if he’s sure and is shocked as Alex asks what’s going on. Maggie announces that Victor’s son and Alex’s cousin, Bo Brady, is alive.

Leo decides Gwen made it clear that they are overextended on their tab at the room. Gwen complains about the massive hotel bill. Leo suggests settling on a cheap bottle of wine and fruit cups. Leo tells Gwen that he knows losing Xander was a huge loss for her and she needs to mourn that loss, so she can do whatever she needs to get a handle on her feelings and he will be there for her. Gwen thanks him and admits she really does need to vent and just get it out and mourn the loss. Gwen says she needs to stop pretending to be so tough and invulnerable and notes that she talked about that with Alex. Leo remarks that he then dumped her too and then apologizes for that slipping out.

Alex questions Bo being alive after being dead for years. Alex calls it wild but great news. Maggie adds that there is bad news as well since Bo is in a coma at a hospital in Greece and they’re not sure he’s ever going to wake up. Alex talks about hearing from Victor about how much he loved Bo and how proud he was of him. Maggie says that’s why Victor is fueling up the jet as they speak as he’s planning on flying to Greece to make sure Bo is getting the best possible care. Maggie says she’s never heard Victor this emotional as everything in him aches to be with Bo, the son that he thought he lost. Alex can only imagine what he’s going through. Alex suggests Maggie go with Victor to Greece while he will handle all the business here if she gives him that chance.

Rafe goes over the police report that Shawn filed before going to Greece with the times of events. Rafe notes that Paulina went to her office with her own keys not long after it was vandalized so if Sloan or Talia took them, they would have had very little time to return them.

Chanel admits that even though Allie is halfway around the world, she thought they might find their way back to each other but now Allie has moved on. Chanel decides maybe she should move on too and begins kissing Talia. Talia thinks back to Colin telling her of their plan. Talia then pulls away and tells Chanel that maybe they shouldn’t do this.

Xander questions where Colin is from and asks if his accent is from London. Colin suggests they don’t ask each other about who is coming in and out of their rooms. Xander says he’s packing up anyway as he’s finally moving out of this motel. Colin guesses they won’t have a problem then and goes in to his room. Xander remarks that he’s glad to be getting out of here.

Chloe cries to Brady that it’s not about her feelings for him but ever since Kristen got to Rachel, she’s felt responsible for the suffering of a child and she couldn’t get Rachel to like her. Chloe adds that Rachel has had a hard enough life without seeing her as the only thing standing in the way of having her family together. Brady says he understands. Chloe thanks him. Chloe understands it’s hard for him too and that nothing is more important than being a father. Brady asks if this is it then and it’s over. Chloe talks about feeling sad and wanting to sing to cheer herself up, but the first song that came to her mind was “I Will Always Love You”, which didn’t cheer her up. Chloe states that the lyrics did ring true because she will always love Brady. Brady responds that he will too as they kiss.

Chanel questions Talia not thinking this is a good idea when there is real chemistry between them. Chanel asks if she’s not sure about being with a woman but Talia says it’s not that. Chanel questions what it is then since Talia made a bold move in deciding to kiss her but now she’s pulling back and asks why. Talia thinks back to Colin insisting that she do this. Talia says that Chanel is her boss and asks how that would look for a boss and employee to be hooking up. Talia brings up the policy at Jada’s job and how that’s getting in the way of her getting with her boss.

Rafe tells Jada that maybe it wasn’t Sloan or Talia who trashed Paulina’s office but maybe someone else entirely. Jada brings up that Sloan swears she had nothing to do with it and she hopes that her sister didn’t either. Jada realizes there’s a hardware store in the town square, so it wouldn’t take long for someone to go and get a copy of Paulina’s key made.

Alex tells Maggie that everyone thinks Victor is so strong, but they all know that Maggie is what keeps him strong as his rock and that’s why she needs to go be with him in Greece. Maggie isn’t sure about leaving right now and brings up the last time she trusted Alex and how he undermined her authority and compromised the values of the company. Alex can’t deny that or that Maggie has been generous in giving him far more chances than he deserves. Alex admits he had poor judgment in the past and made some errors, but nothing matters more to him than his family. Alex pleads with Maggie to go be with Victor in Greece as he’s about to go through something very difficult, emotional, and miraculous which is why he needs her. Maggie then agrees to go but warns that this is Alex’s last chance to prove that he is committed to this company and the family. Maggie hands Alex the details on a huge deal for Titan, noting that he doesn’t have to do anything but close the deal. Alex promises that he won’t let her down.

Gwen admits to Leo that she was only using Alex to get over Xander. Gwen believed that Xander would stick around and talks about how they were together. Gwen says she never felt such a deep connection like that to someone ever before. Leo relates to never having that. Gwen hopes he gets it one day because it’s the best feeling of all to know that somebody sees you for you with all of your faults and still loves you. Gwen says it makes you love yourself more. Leo says that Gwen makes him feel that way and jokes that if only they wanted to jump each others’ bones. Leo tells Gwen that he’s sorry it didn’t work out with Xander and that he had to be the one to tell her about him moving in with Chloe. Gwen acknowledges that she would’ve found out eventually. Gwen decides she has to go get some air and figure out how to say goodbye to the only man that she ever truly loved.

Xander returns to the apartment and finds Brady and Chloe kissing. Brady then turns and exits as Chloe holds back tears.

Rafe suggests he and Jada go check out the hardware store. Jada decides they will show Sloan and Talia’s pictures to see if either of them had a key made that day.

Chanel tells Talia that places have rules like that about inappropriate relationships between bosses and subordinates, but she’s the boss here and there’s no policy to stop her from being with someone she likes and it’s consensual. Chanel adds that she doesn’t know if Talia working for her would even be an issue with the shutdown as she doesn’t know if the bakery can survive this. Talia encourages that she’s confident that Chanel will figure out a way to keep the place going. Chanel says that if she does, it will be because she has someone like Talia in her corner, who has her back and that she can trust…

Colin looks at his phone with the article about the Bakery being shut down and smiles. Colin then goes to text Talia.

Chanel tells Talia that she feels like she can trust her and that means so much to her. Talia then gets a text from Colin, asking how it’s going and if she’s got things cooking with her boss yet. Chanel asks if everything is okay. Talia claims it was just spam. Chanel says she’s going to stay and clean up a bit more. Talia offers to help but Chanel says she can handle it. Chanel then asks Talia on a date for later so they can talk more and see where it goes. Talia accepts so Chanel suggests dinner at the Bistro.

Xander asks Chloe if what he walked in on means that she and Brady are back together. Xander adds that he’ll totally understand if she no longer wants to move in together and says he’ll figure something out. Chloe stops him and says that what he walked in on with her and Brady was goodbye.

Brady sits at a table at the Brady Pub. Gwen joins him and says she hears Xander and Chloe are shacking up, so she asks if he wants to drown their sorrows together.

Xander brings in a pizza and beers as he and Chloe’s first meal together. They joke about each others’ pizza toppings. Xander toasts to Chloe being better off without Brady and then they toast to each other. Chloe acknowledges that Xander can be quite charming when he sets his mind to it.

Brady tells Gwen that he’s just drinking club soda. Gwen wants something stronger. Brady heard that she had given up drinking scotch. Gwen says she had but picked it back up again. Gwen admires Brady for not doing so in trying circumstances. Gwen says she’s sorry about he and Chloe. Brady thanks her and wishes he could say the same about her and Xander but he thinks she’s better off without him. Gwen suggests maybe he’s better off without Chloe. Brady questions why she would say that to him. Gwen questions it being fine for him to say about Xander but she’s supposed to sing Chloe’s praises. Brady argues that whatever she had with Xander doesn’t compare to what he had with Chloe. Gwen calls him an angry drunk who doesn’t drink. Brady asks if she thinks they are going to cry on each others’ shoulders. Gwen says she’s not crying but she needs that drink as they both yell for the waitress.

Maggie tells Alex that she got everything arranged to fly to Greece with Victor. Alex talks about going over the amazing deal she set up for Titan and promises that she won’t regret letting him handle it. Maggie reminds him to stick to what she laid out in the folder and then when she comes back, they will all be in a better place. Maggie then exits.

Chanel walks through the town square and runs in to Leo. Leo asks about her engagement to Johnny. Chanel repeats that they are just friends and the engagement is off. Chanel adds that she has a date tonight with someone else. Leo jokes about asking what gender it is. Chanel says he would like to know and walks away.

Talia returns to Colin at the motel. Colin asks how it went. Talia informs him that she has dinner tonight at the Bistro with Chanel. Colin calls that fancy and questions her not being excited about it. Talia asks why she would be excited when she is deceiving someone just to get her in bed to break her heart. Talia remarks that she does have a conscience. Colin says he respects her for that but Chanel killed his mother in the most horrible way possible and asks if she’s forgotten that. Talia assures that she hasn’t but she can’t help but feel for Chanel. Colin tells her to fight that feeling and do this for him. Colin knows she will because they love each other and she knows how important this is to him as they kiss.

Rafe and Jada meet with the hardware store owner in the town square. Rafe shows a photo of Sloan and asks if she came in to make a copy of a key a few weeks ago. He says no, insisting that he would remember such a pretty lady. Jada then shows a photo of Talia. The owner does remember Talia, noting that she was in a hell of a rush.

Days of Our Lives Update

At the police station, Jada is looking over Talia’s witness statement when Rafe arrives. Rafe tells Jada that he’s really sorry about this as he hands over his tablet, showing her Leo’s latest gossip column about them titled “Kissing Cops, Will They Be Cancelled?”, which leaves Jada outraged.

Leo sits down to eat room service in his room at the Salem Inn. Gwen stops him and can’t believe he spent $65 on breakfast. Gwen orders him to send it back but Leo says he can’t because he already took a bite. Leo adds that he ordered her some too. Gwen says she’s sorry but complains about how much they’ve spent on the place. Gwen brings up how management is about not paying rent promptly and says they can’t keep living like this. Gwen tells Leo no more massages, spas, or room service and that they need to find a new place to live. Alex then shows up at the door and asks Gwen if they can talk.

Xander and Chloe check out an apartment to possibly move in to. Chloe notes how she never expected to be doing this with him. Xander calls the unexpected fun. Xander praises the apartment and notes that most importantly it gets her out of the Salem Inn and him out of the dump he’s in.

Paulina joins Chanel in the town square and announces that she has ordered 200 bear claws to show the City Hall employees her appreciation. Chanel responds that she’s sorry but she can’t fill that order. Paulina says there’s no rush on the order and suggests cinnamon donuts instead. Paulina then asks why Chanel is looking so sad. Chanel responds that she can’t fill any order and reveals that the Bakery has been shut down by the health department due to a public health violation. Chanel announces that Sweet Bits is now out of business. Paulina sits with her and questions how they can do this without even warning her. Chanel says they left a message but she didn’t get it until just now. Paulina argues that this is wrong and unfair. Paulina wants to give them a piece of her mind but Chanel says not to. Paulina argues that this was Chanel’s dream and she’s not going to let someone just trample on it. Chanel admits it was her dream but declares that it’s now over. Paulina questions if this is just temporary until the investigation is resolved and they prove Sloan drugged the biscuits. Paulina believes everyone will come flocking back to the Bakery then. Chanel appreciates her optimism. Paulina refuses to allow Chanel to give up on her dream and declares that she will not stand for it.

Rafe understands why Jada is mad at Leo and says he is too as he’s a mean little creep but points out that this was obviously Sloan who leaked the story since she is the one who saw them together. Jada argues that Sloan also knows he was drugged but that’s not mentioned. Rafe says it’s good he disclosed everything to Abe before this story came out so he knows it was out of their control and won’t take action against them. Rafe states that he cannot wait to throw the book at that bitch. Rafe adds that since this was leak was intended to throw off their investigation, maybe he’ll throw obstruction of justice onto Sloan’s long list of charges. Jada says that’s assuming Sloan is the one who committed the crimes. Rafe questions if Jada is still thinking it could’ve been her sister.

Talia gets out of the shower while Colin is distracted by reading Leo’s column. Colin shows the article to Talia and points out that it’s about her sister.

Leo assumes he has to leave so Gwen and Alex can talk. Leo says he will take his champagne to go and will start hunting for an apartment for them as he then exits. Gwen tells Alex that this is a nice surprise. Alex admits he actually did want to talk. Alex knows it may seem sudden but he doesn’t think it’s a good idea that they see each other anymore.

Xander continues talking up the apartment while Chloe notes that she hasn’t agreed to anything yet. Xander worries that a place like this might go quick. Chloe doesn’t like being rushed in important decisions as she feels she needs to see more. Chloe sends Xander to go check the water pressure in the shower while she checks around for mold. Brady then walks in and sees Chloe. They ask each other what they are doing there. Brady explains that he’s looking at the apartment for himself and Rachel. Chloe reveals that she’s looking for an apartment too, noting that the Salem Inn keeps raising their rates and she’s not working. Brady points out that it’s a two bedroom apartment and questions why Chloe would move there if she’s cutting back. Xander then comes back in and tells Chloe that he thinks they should take it. Brady is shocked to see Xander and questions what the hell is this.

Gwen questions Alex breaking up with her. Alex says he’s just suggesting that they stop sleeping together. Gwen asks if there’s any particular reason. Alex tells her that he had another session with Marlena, who made him understand that this whole thing between them is actually part of his unhealthy pattern. Alex acknowledges that Gwen is hot, funny, and beautiful and he’s attracted to her so it’s going to be harder for him than walking away from any other vice. Alex says he decided to lean in to the whole no strings sex thing after screwing up with Stephanie, but Marlena made him realize that it’s not the best way to handle things and that he’s avoiding his feelings while using Gwen to do that which is not cool. Gwen tells Alex that she doesn’t mind being used. Alex insists that this isn’t healthy for either of them and he wants better for her. Alex thinks she should want better for herself too.

Talia complains that Leo’s article is unfair since Rafe only kissed Jada because he was high from the drugged biscuits. Talia feels terrible since Jada works so hard at her job and worries about her finding out if her own sister was behind it. Colin argues that she’s not to blame. Talia asks how he can say that when she is the one who tainted the biscuits. Colin says that’s only because Chanel tore apart his family and needs to pay for being a homewrecker and a murderer. Colin argues that it’s called justice and Talia was just righting a wrong out of love. Colin tells Talia that he loves her for it and kisses her. Colin thinks Leo has done them a favor and suggests now that the cops are distracted, maybe it’s time to turn up the heat on Chanel.

Chanel knows Paulina is just trying to lift her spirits. Paulina brings up Abe being Chanel’s stepfather but Chanel doesn’t want Abe dragged in to her mess. Paulina says it’s too late and calls it their mess. Paulina tells Chanel to sit there and not go anywhere as she walks away. Chanel then pulls out her phone.

Talia questions what Colin means by turning up the heat on Chanel. Talia then gets a phone call from Chanel. Talia answers and apologizes for being late. Chanel tells her not to worry because they’ve been shut down by the health department, so she was calling to tell her not to come in. Talia asks if she’s sure there is nothing she can do. Chanel responds that until they get to the bottom of this, there’s nothing anyone can do.

Jada tells Rafe that it’s still bothering her that Talia had the means and opportunity to tamper with the biscuits. Rafe points out that there’s still no motive. Jada complains about how Talia’s story kept coming out in pieces and she was forgetting things. Jada points out that Talia had a lack of an alibi and was one of the few people to have keys to the Bakery. Rafe notes that she didn’t have keys to Paulina’s office and that vandalism was likely from the same person. Jada says that’s unless they had an accomplice. Jada complains of shoulder pain. Rafe offers to help but then decides he better not.

Paulina returns to Chanel and tells her that Abe is in a meeting with the district attorney at the police station. Paulina wants to go track him down herself because there’s no way to stop her from doing what’s right for Chanel. Paulina talks about having obstacles in becoming a successful business woman. Paulina encourages that Chanel will push through this road block. Chanel then decides she’s coming with her. Paulina wants to take the head off the health inspector at city hall, but Chanel says there is something else she wants to do.

Rafe brings Jada some pills and water since they have to keep their distance. Rafe adds that he overheard that the Bakery has been shut down by the health department. Jada says that’s sad for Chanel but maybe this will force Talia to get the crazy idea out of her head to become the next cake boss and maybe she’ll use her medical training to actually save lives. Jada comments that once Talia gets an idea in her head, there’s no getting it out. Rafe compares that to Jada, pointing out how long she’s been staring at the case file. Jada says she’s just looking at the timeline to see if they missed anything. Rafe tells Jada that he will be in his office if she finds anything.

Gwen questions Alex thinking he’s not good enough for her when he’s rich and handsome. Alex clarifies that he just thinks they need to do some soul searching. Alex says he’s gotten to know Gwen pretty well and while others think she’s heartless, he knows she’s just heartbroken and that she only jumped in to bed with him to make Xander jealous. Gwen admits that maybe in the beginning, that was her motivation but now she couldn’t care less about Xander anymore. Alex feels that’s only because she’s afraid of dealing with her feelings and he’s doing the same thing. Alex acknowledges that the sex releases chemicals from their brain. Gwen jokes about Alex getting a medical degree from these sessions with Marlena. Alex says she just opened his eyes to things and he’s read some articles. Alex asks if they weren’t using sex as a distraction. Gwen says she’d rather not think about that. Alex says he’s trying to have an honest conversation with her which is the one thing they haven’t done since they started sleeping together. Gwen then reluctantly admits that she is heartbroken and that as much as she’s tried to get over Xander, it isn’t easy.

Brady questions Xander and Chloe moving in together. Xander says that’s right. Chloe insists they are just going to be roommates because she’s having financial issues. Brady argues that she could have come to him and brings up that Xander left her in the clutches of a Mexican drug lord. Xander states that he and Chloe have moved on from that while Brady says he hasn’t. Brady doesn’t understand why Chloe would even think about moving in with Xander. Chloe argues that they are friends. Brady says Xander is not her friend. Chloe states that Xander has been there for her. Brady asks if he hasn’t been. Chloe points out that they didn’t know each other were moving because they haven’t spoken in days. Brady didn’t think she wanted to hear from him. Chloe cries that she didn’t want to hear that he’s better off without her. Brady asks why he would say that and talks about how much he misses her. Xander says that’s enough because he’s upsetting her. Brady warns Xander to stay the hell out of this. Leo then arrives and questions what they have here, adding that he smells a story.

Alex questions Gwen admitting that she’s not over Xander and that he broke her heart. Gwen confirms it just like Stephanie broke Alex’s heart and she doesn’t think he is over her either. Alex asks why she’s bringing Stephanie in to this when they are history. Gwen points out that now they know Kayla is alive which means Alex didn’t deprive her the chance of saying goodbye to her mother. Alex insists this has nothing to do with that. Gwen asks if there’s not a small part of him that feels he and Stephanie could reignite that spark again. Alex claims absolutely not as that ship has sailed since Stephanie is with Chad now and he highly doubts she will ever look in his direction again. Alex repeats this has nothing to do with any other woman and is just about realizing that his life is a mess so he has to get back on track and move forward, not back. Alex thinks Gwen might feel the same way. Gwen wishes she could say she could.

Chloe questions what Leo is doing here. Leo says he’s also looking for an apartment for he and Gwen. Brady goes to check out the place while Leo questions if they are all moving in together. Xander clarifies that he and Chloe are looking for a place together. Leo asks about Brady showing up. Brady says it’s none of his business but he’s looking for a place for he and his daughter. Leo calls Brady’s daughter the demon seed from Hell. Brady calls him a son of a bitch as Xander steps in. Xander reminds Leo that he works for him, then breaks his pencil and tells him that his work is done.

Paulina goes to the police station and asks Jada about Abe, but Jada says she just missed him. Paulina guesses she’ll have to track down the health inspector herself at city hall. Jada mentions hearing about the bakery and calls it a shame. Paulina assures that it’s a temporary situation so she won’t have to worry about her sister’s employment. Jada says she was actually about to call Paulina because she was reviewing her statement about when her office was broken in to, so she hoped Paulina could answer a few more questions. Paulina asks if she has a new lead. Jada responds that she’s not sure yet.

Chanel goes to see Rafe in his office and says she hasn’t really had a chance to talk to him since the incident at the bakery outside of her and Talia going over their stories, but she wanted to tell Rafe that she’s really sorry that her baked goods put him in the hospital. Rafe appreciates it but says she has nothing to apologize for. Rafe talks about the biscuits being so good and that being why he had so many that he had a reaction to the drug. Chanel thanks him but just wishes she knew how it happened. Rafe assures they are working hard to figure that out and when they arrest someone, she’ll be the first to know. Chanel then notices a photo on Rafe’s desk.

Colin is excited about the bakery being shut down and tells Talia that he’s grateful for all she has done for him. Colin adds that he wouldn’t impose this on her if there was any way he could do it himself but the cops would be on him in a heartbeat. Talia says she knows but feels destroying Chanel’s business is revenge enough. Colin argues that she’s been there when he’s woken up from horrible nightmares all because of what Chanel took from him and Sloan, so he won’t rest until she feels the same kind of misery that she put them through. Talia questions if he’s talking about killing someone. Colin clarifies that he’s not a murderer, unlike Chanel. Colins declares that before Chanel killed his mother, she broke her heart by going after his father, so now it’s time for Chanel to feel what it’s like to have her heart broken. Talia argues that she already has since her ex cheated on her and then moved to a different continent. Colin calls it the perfect time for Talia to swoop in and sweep Chanel off her feet and then break her little heart all over again.

Jada goes over the timeline of events with Paulina. Paulina brings up Sloan threatening to come after her and then about an hour later, her office was vandalized. Jada agrees the timing is suspicious but points out that there were no signs of forced entry, so whoever broke in had a key. Paulina insists only she had a key. Jada asks if her keys were ever left unattended for someone else to gain access to. Paulina recalls her bag being left on a table at the café when Sloan confronted her and notes that it was when Chanel introduced her to Talia. Jada questions Talia being there.

Talia questions Colin wanting her to seduce Chanel. Colin asks what the problem is since Chanel is in to women and Talia is a woman. Talia argues that she’s not gay or even bisexual. Talia says she only wants Colin and thought he wanted her too, but it seems like he’s trying to pimp her out. Colin says not at all and it won’t be real for them but Chanel will fall head over heels for her. Colin questions that Talia will commit a crime for him but she won’t kiss a girl. Talia complains that it’s more than just kissing as he’s asking her to lead her on and then break her heart. Colin jokes that he doesn’t want her to ride off in to the sunset with her, since she is already spoken for. Talia doesn’t think she can do this. Colin insists on how important it is to him and says that when it’s finally over, he’ll be ok with no more mood swings or crazy depression because he will feel like he got justice for his mom and they will be so happy together. Colin tells Talia that he loves her so much. Talia says she loves him too so Colin says he knows she will pull through for him as they kiss on to the bed.

Chanel comments on a photo of Allie and her son Henry that she had sent Rafe, noting that Henry’s gotten so big that she hardly recognizes him and that Allie looks great. Chanel asks if Allie said how she’s liking New Zealand. Rafe says that she said she felt awkward at first but a little more comfortable now. Chanel asks what she’s been up to. Rafe says she’s just been working and meeting people. Chanel questions if that means she’s seeing someone then decides that Rafe doesn’t have to say anything and rushes out of the office.

Xander tells Leo that they are here to look for an apartment, not chronicle their love lives. Leo says no one is interested and he was just giving them a hard time. Leo decides that Gwen will definitely have to come check out the apartment. Xander says she’ll be wasting her time since he and Chloe were there first, so they are taking it which Chloe questions. Brady asks if Xander isn’t going to ask Chloe what she thinks. Xander points out that Chloe said she liked it, so he figured since he’s footing the bill, he would make a decision. Brady remarks that it sounds like Chloe is a kept woman now which upsets Chloe, who says she will happily pay her half of the rent when she gets a job because she loves the place. Chloe then announces that she and Xander are taking the apartment and they high five.

Leo goes home and tells Gwen that he saw Alex walking out, so he assumed it was safe to come up. Gwen tells him there’s nothing to see so he’s fine and that Alex just came over to dump her. Leo asks if he’s crazy. Gwen says she doesn’t want to talk about it and asks about the apartment because she could really use a pick me up. Leo says it was amazing but unfortunately, someone got to it before they did. Leo knows it’s a terrible time to bring this up but she’s going to find out anyway. Leo then reveals that Xander is shacking up with Chloe.

Chloe comes back to the apartment and finds Brady there. Chloe thought he left with Xander and Leo. Brady says he came back to talk to her alone. Chloe asks if they have anything left to talk about. Brady tells her that he loves her and in spite of everything that has conspired to keep them apart, he thinks she might still love him too. Brady calls it fate that they both ended up here. Brady thinks it would be a really big mistake for her to get involved with Xander, so he doesn’t want to see that happen.

Jada asks Paulina about Talia being there when Sloan confronted her. Paulina talks about liking Talia since day one and how she’s been great at the bakery and even helped her through her panic attacks. Paulina remarks that Chanel is lucky to have Talia in her corner and asks what else she wants to know.

Xander walks down the hall at his motel and sees Colin going back to his room. Xander stops and comments that he thought that was Talia’s room.

Talia joins Chanel at the Bakery. Chanel reminds her that she didn’t have to come in today. Talia says she was just seeing how she was doing since she sounded stressed on the phone. Chanel calls that really sweet of her but admits she’s not doing well and that the day just keeps getting worse. Talia hugs her and says she’s really sorry. Talia then says maybe she can make her feel better as she then kisses Chanel.

Days of Our Lives Update

Belle goes to see EJ at the DiMera Mansion and says she rushed over after she got his message that it was a matter of life and death.

Harris checks out at the hotel in Greece and goes to leave when he runs in to Shawn.

Steve, Kayla, Andrew, and Roman watch the video from the microchip in Bo’s brain that reveals that Bo did not shoot Kate and allowed her to go. Kayla exclaims that Bo did not shoot Kate. Roman declares that this could mean that Kate is alive but wonders where the hell she is and where she went. Andrew wishes he had an answer but says the ISA scoured the entire island and surrounding areas so they have no idea where she is, but he is absolutely certain that Kate is not on that island.

Kate is somewhere on a boat, cutting up fish. Kate stops to think back to being in this same spot cutting fish over 25 years ago and questions how she has ended up back here, remarking that it must be a joke or a kick in the ass. Kate complains that she’s not such a bad person. Kate admits she hasn’t always been a saint but argues that she doesn’t deserve this. Kate asks why this is always happening to her.

Outside the hospital in Greece, Chad asks Stephanie if she’s nervous about seeing her uncle Bo. Stephanie responds that she was actually just thinking about Harris Michaels and how she ripped in to him at the lab yesterday. Chad calls it understandable since Harris didn’t say anything about her parents’ lives being in danger. Stephanie acknowledges that Harris was so apologetic at the hotel and asks if she was too hard on him. Chad doesn’t think so. Stephanie thanks Chad for reminding her that Harris saved them from Thomas Banks. Chad argues that Harris is lucky that more people didn’t get hurt. Stephanie thinks he knows that and is beating himself up over everything that happened.

Harris tells Shawn that he ran in to Hope and asks if there’s any change in Bo’s condition. Shawn informs him that he’s still in a coma and the doctors don’t know when or if he’s ever going to come out of it. Harris tells him that he’s sorry. Shawn tells him not to be. Shawn declares that what happened to his father is his fault but Harris disagrees and blames himself.

Belle questions EJ saying it was a life or death situation that Stefan hired Gabi at DiMera. EJ complains about having to work with Gabi and argues that she’s trying to steal his company. Belle asks what Stefan hired Gabi to do. EJ says she’s been hired as a vague consultant and told to eliminate inefficiency. EJ adds that her first task is to evaluate his performance and argues that she’s obviously trying to get the board to eliminate him. EJ continues to complain about Gabi and argues that this is utter madness. Belle asks if he has concerns about Stefan’s mental state which would endanger DiMera. EJ calls that good and says they could use that if they need to. EJ wants to start by going through the company by laws to see if there are any loopholes he can use to get rid of Gabi. EJ asks Belle to get started on that today. Belle can’t believe this is what EJ had her rush over for. Belle tells him that she was on her way to the courthouse when he called and she had to explain to a client and a very unhappy judge that she had to reschedule because of a personal emergency. Belle complains that EJ lied to her and questions how Stefan hiring Gabi comes anywhere near a life or death situation. EJ tells her that it’s about far more like protecting what his father built, guarding his children’s inheritance and legacy. EJ argues that the stakes couldn’t be higher as his family’s company is hanging by a thread. Belle asks if his family’s company is in the ICU which EJ questions. Belle informs EJ that her husband is dealing with a real life or death situation when an actual human being could die. EJ questions what she’s talking about and asks what happened to Shawn. Belle doesn’t think he cares but EJ insists that she tell him what happened. Belle then reveals that Shawn accidentally shot his father and put him in a coma.

Harris knows Shawn blames himself for what happened to Bo, but says he’s the one that put this all in motion. Shawn says they’ve been over this. Harris states that he is the reason that Hope and Shawn were on that cliff, so he’s responsible for what happened. Harris admits he could tell something was off with Bo when he saw him and that he was armed, but he sent Hope by herself. Shawn argues that he already explained himself. Harris says he just wanted to apologize as he was selfish and wrong. Harris adds that if he would’ve told Hope sooner or gone with her, the outcome would have been different.

Kayla decides she will go tell Hope about Kate and says she will be so relieved. Steve hugs Roman and says he’s so happy for him. Roman can’t believe his wife is alive and his brother doesn’t have to live with the guilt of taking her from them. Steve knows Bo would never forgive himself if he took a life. Roman says he’s grateful that Kate is alive but they still have no idea where she went. Roman declares that he will search the planet for her. Steve and Andrew say they are with him so Roman decides they will put their heads together and make a plan to find his wife.

Kate asks if her life could be any more crazy as one moment she’s being held at gunpoint by a reincarnated Bo Brady and then she’s in the middle of the Mediterranean, chopping up an endless pile of fish. Kate remarks that she’s not enjoying this. Kate talks about how suffering is everywhere so maybe accepting it is the way to be free of it. Kate declares that this is her life and to accept it. Kate then decides against that and begins screaming for help, asking if there’s anyone out there to help her get off this boat. Kate then hears footsteps and wonders if someone is there.

Chad finishes a call with his kids, assuring they will be home very soon. Chad says he and Stephanie love them as he hangs up. Stephanie says the kids obviously miss him if he wants to go back to Salem. Chad assures that they are well taken care of by Doug and Julie while he wants to be here with her. Stephanie thanks him for all of his support through all this and says he has no idea how much it means to her. Chad kisses her and suggests they go see Bo. Kayla then comes out from the hospital and says she was just going to call. Stephanie asks if everything is okay. Kayla says it’s better than okay as she has really incredible news. Stephanie asks if Bo is awake. Kayla says no but he did squeeze Hope’s hand a little while ago which Chad calls amazing. Kayla says it’s encouraging but the news is not about Bo, it’s about Kate which Chad questions. Kayla announces that Bo did not kill Kate, so she is alive which shocks Chad.

Roman tells Steve and Andrew that the first question is how Kate escaped the island. Andrew points out that she couldn’t have escaped by plane so the only way out would have been by boat. Steve points out that they know Dr. Rolf escaped on a boat as they found him in Athens. Andrew notes that Bo took Kayla on a similar boat. Roman asks if there was another boat. Andrew says not that they know of, but there was a space for a third boat. Roman declares that has to be how Kate left. Andrew agrees. Roman points out that Bo released Kate weeks ago, so he questions where the hell she’s been all this time and why she hasn’t contacted someone.

A man approaches Kate on the boat. Kate tells him that she needs his help. Kate says she knows how much he helped her already and says he saved her life already as when she was on the little boat, she had no idea where she was going until he rescued her and brought her on this ship. The man asks her about her work cutting fish. Kate says she will get back to that but first she needs to make a phone call. He offers a phone but questions how much she will pay him for it.

Harris encourages Shawn to let himself off the hook since he did this. Shawn tells him to stop. Harris argues that Shawn saw Bo holding a gun on his mother and asks how he couldn’t react. Shawn complains that he keeps hearing over and over again that he did what anyone else would have done and he’s sick and tired of it. Shawn declares that the bottom line is that his dad may die because of him and him alone. Shawn knows Harris is just trying to make him feel better or make himself feel less guilty, but he can look at it however he wants. Shawn admits some of it is on Harris but at the end of the day, Harris didn’t pull the trigger and shoot his own father.

EJ questions Belle saying that Shawn shot his own father and put him in a coma. Belle confirms it happened two days ago in Greece. EJ questions why he would do that. Belle explains that Shawn thought Bo was about to shoot Hope but he wasn’t and it was just a terrible, tragic mistake. EJ asks what the prognosis is. Belle says that nobody really knows and they just wait and pray now. Belle tells EJ that is a life and death situation while what is happening with Gabi is not. Belle notes that Bo might not survive and Shawn is just devastated. EJ remarks that it sounds like Shawn really screwed up so Belle punches him in the stomach. EJ questions her doing that. Belle says EJ deserved it and says what happened was an accident. Belle knows EJ doesn’t like Shawn but says that what he said is low even for him. EJ apologizes for not thinking before speaking. Belle argues that EJ should’ve thought before inviting her over or just thought more in general about what an insensitive jerk he is. Belle goes to leave but EJ stops her and says he knows that he and Shawn don’t get along, but he does feel for him and their whole family so he’s sorry that she’s going through what she’s going through. Belle thanks him. EJ would like to make up for what he said and thinks he knows how can do that.

Harris acknowledges that he can’t know how Shawn feels and that he didn’t pull the trigger, but he still feels responsible and like he should be the one paying for it. Shawn tells Harris that nothing is going to happen to him since he didn’t do anything illegal. Shawn argues that the only one punishing Harris would be himself because no one is coming to arrest him. Harris argues that he’s still paying for it because he lost Hope.

Kayla explains to Stephanie and Chad that the surgeon found a microchip in Bo’s brain which is how Megan was controlling him and the ISA was able to read the chip with an app which contained a video file from Bo’s point of view, so they could see everything he did and hear what he was saying. Kayla adds that they very clearly see Bo fire his gun in the air and tell Kate to run which she did. Chad is confused because he thought Bo told Kayla himself that he killed Kate. Kayla confirms that he did. Stephanie questions why Bo would lie. Kayla thinks he did it to scare her to keep her in line, since he went out of his way to make her believe that he was dangerous and capable of murder. Kayla says no matter what he said, she knew it wasn’t true. Stephanie is relieved that she was right and hugs her as Chad remains in disbelief.

Roman says the first thing Kate would have wanted to do when she got off the island would be to call her family and let them know that she was alive, so he questions why she didn’t. Steve points out that Kate likely had no idea where she was and no way to navigate, so it might have taken her for awhile to get to the main land. Roman argues that it shouldn’t take weeks and asks why Kate wouldn’t find the first person she saw and ask to use their phone. Andrew points out that Kate wasn’t an experienced sailor and the water out there can be treacherous. Roman tells Andrew not to suggest that Kate didn’t make it. Roman calls Kate the strongest woman he knows as she has survived cancer, a plane crash, being shot, and buried alive. Roman argues that there’s no chance and guarantees that Kate is alive.

Kate questions the man wanting her to pay to use his phone. The man says he has to pay his bills. Kate argues that she has nothing to her name other than the clothes she is wearing. The man asks about her boat. Kate explains that was just a boat she found when she escaped the island that she was being held prisoner on. Kate says when he found her in the water, she had just escaped and everyone she loves thinks she’s dead. Kate just wants to call her husband to tell him that she’s alive and she wants to go home. Kate assures that she can pay him when she gets home but she doesn’t have anything to give him now. The man then asks what about her wedding ring.

Chad can’t believe Kate is alive and excitedly hugs Stephanie. Kayla calls it incredible news. Chad asks where she is and if he can see or talk to Kate. Kayla suggests going inside for answers so they head in to the hospital.

Andrew apologizes to Roman and agrees that there is no reason to give up hope. Roman knows he has to be prepared for any outcome. Andrew declares that the only acceptable outcome in this case is to find Kate. Andrew thinks he will need to go find reinforcements so they will catch up in a bit. Andrew then exits. Steve tells Roman that he’s right that Kate is as tough as they come. Roman guesses that Kate washed ashore on another island. Roman hopes he wasn’t too hard on Andrew just now. Steve assures that Andrew understands Roman is just laying out the facts to make sure everybodyis prepared for the mission to find Kate.

Belle asks how EJ is planning to make it up to her. EJ doesn’t suppose anything will make up for his behavior but thinks he can offer her something she may find useful. EJ then offers Belle the DiMera jet so she can go see her husband. EJ is sure Shawn is in a lot of pain and he knows she wants to be with him. EJ tells Belle to fly out to Greece today and come back whenever she’s ready, noting that he will pay for all the expenses. Belle calls that very generous of him but says she can’t because she’s in the middle of a tiral. EJ suggests asking for a continuance and believes everyone would understand. Belle feels it wouldn’t be fair to her client to just take off and that Shawn understands. EJ tells her to just let him know if she changes her mind. EJ decides he will handle Gabi as Belle then exits the mansion.

Harris repeats to Shawn that he saw Hope earlier and she made it very clear that it was over between them. Shawn asks what he expected after keeping the truth from her about the love of her life, so of course she was going to dump his ass. Shawn asks if he expects him to feel sorry for him. Harris says no and that he’ll just have to live with how he hurt all of them for the rest of his life. Shawn says he’s going to shower and then back to the hospital. Harris notes that he will be praying for his family and he really does hope that Bo will be okay. Shawn then heads to his room. Harris then gets a text from Andrew, saying he needs to talk to him.

Roman tells Steve that he’s having a hell of a time wrapping his head around this whole thing, especially Bo being alive. Steve talks about seeing Bo in front of him after all these years. Roman guesses it had to be confusing with the way Bo was acting. Steve says it didn’t take too long to realize it wasn’t the real Bo Brady but that his best friend of 40 years was still in there somewhere. Roman talks about being so damn happy when he heard Bo was back but he was having a hard time with the thought that Bo killed Kate. Roman states that he loves Bo and would’ve done anything to help him get better, but he doubts there’s any way he could have ever forgiven him if he had killed Kate. Steve is glad he doesn’t have to worry about that anymore. Roman calls it a big weight off his shoulders. Steve tells Roman to just wait until they get Kate back. Roman says they just have to find her.

Kate tells the man that she can’t give him her wedding ring. He argues that she can just get another one when she returns home. Kate argues that she can’t as it’s one of a kind and her prized possession. Kate mentions Roman putting it on her finger on her deathbed. The man insists that if she wants to use his phone, he needs the ring. Kate reluctantly agrees but notes that the ring is her last possession. The man warns that she only gets one call and no more. Kate hands over the ring as he gives her the phone. Kate then calls Roman, hoping he picks up.

As she’s leaving the DiMera Mansion, Belle calls Shawn and asks if he’s at the hospital. Shawn says he’s at the hotel for a quick shower. Belle asks for the latest. Shawn says he just spoke to Hope and she said Bo squeezed her hand. Belle calls that a good sign. Shawn says the doctors said not to get their hopes up since nothing else has changed and they don’t expect Bo to wake up any time soon. Belle encourages that he could and tells Shawn not to give up hope. Shawn assures that he’s not but that it’s just hard.

Kate pleads for Roman to pick up the phone but gets a recording that the call could not be completed as dialed. Kate wants to try again but the man reminds her that she only had one call. Kate tries to argue but he refuses and tells her to get back to work as he exits.

Chad, Stephanie, and Kayla join Roman and Steve. Stephanie calls it the best news about Kate. Chad asks what the plan is to find her. Steve responds that they are working on it. Chad wants to help with whatever they need. Roman says they appreciate that and they have some leads and taht Andrew is on it too. Kayla asks if Andrew is still around. Steve notes that he said he had to go get reinforcements. Stephanie asks what that means. Roman admits he’s not sure.

Andrew meets Harris at the hotel and says he’s glad he caught him. Harris says he was just heading out when he got his text. Andrew asks where he’s heading. Harris says he’s just going some place else to figure out his next move. Andrew responds that maybe he can help him with that. Andrew informs Harris that he needs his help as it turns out Kate is alive and they need to find her. Harris questions why Andrew would want his help when he has done irreparable damage to his family. Andrew asks how he’d like a shot at redemption.

Days of Our Lives Update

Steve brings Kayla some fruit and yogurt at the Greek hospital but she says she’s not hungry. Steve points out that she barely slept last night. Kayla says she’s just so worried about Bo. Steve encourages that if anybody can get through this it’s Bo Brady. Roman then arrives. Kayla hugs him and says she’s so glad he’s here. Kayla asks if he can believe this. Roman admits he’s still in shock and asks how the hell Bo ended up right back at death’s door.

Shawn walks outside and thinks back to shooting Bo. Ciara arrives and hugs him, saying she came as soon as she heard. Ciara can’t believe it and asks if their dad is really alive. Shawn says no thanks to him.

Harris sits in his room until Andrew shows up at his door. Harris guesses Andrew is here to talk about his uncle Bo. Andrew says he was on the phone half the night with his mother who is a wreck. Harris apologizes. Andrew says what happened to Bo wasn’t his fault but Harris is not so sure about that.

Hope sits at Bo’s side in his hospital room and has a dream about Bo waking up and them reuniting. Hope then snaps out of it and Bo remains unconscious in his hospital bed.

Chad joins Stephanie in their hotel room. Stephanie asks if he spoke to the kids. Chad says he was about to call when he remembered that it’s the middle of the night in Salem. Chad asks what’s on her mind. Stephanie says she’s just thinking about how lucky she is to be here in Chad’s arms, having Kayla back and Steve is safe. Stephanie prays that God has one more miracle left for her uncle Bo.

Roman doesn’t know what to feel since Bo has been gone for so many years but now he’s back alive. Steve talks about walking in to the police station and seeing Bo’s face. Roman asks if Bo will pull out of this. Kayla says they don’t know as the bullet did a lot of damage, but Hope is in with him now. Roman comments on what Hope must be going through. Kayla decides she will go check on her and invites Roman to come but Roman says not yet as he still needs to get his bearings. Steve says he will keep Roman company as Kayla exits. Roman asks Steve how Hope is holding up. Steve says it’s about like he’d expect, but Shawn is the one he’s worried about. Steve wonders how Shawn will ever get over shooting his own father.

Ciara tells Shawn that Steve told her what happened and understands that he thought Bo was going to shoot Hope. Shawn argues that he wasn’t though and Hope had gotten through to him so that he was Dad again. Ciara points out that Shawn didn’t know. Shawn argues that he should have realized that Hope is the one person who could always reach Bo no matter what because that’s how powerful their love is, but instead he went in guns blazing. Ciara argues that he can’t blame himself and that Hope doesn’t and Bo won’t either. Ciara says they just got Bo back and can’t lose him again. Ciara suggests they go see him but Shawn tells her to go ahead. Ciara questions Shawn not seeing Bo. Shawn complains that he can’t face him or Hope after what he did. Ciara tells him to take all the time he needs and assures that nobody blames him as it’s not his fault. Ciara then heads in to the hospital.

Hope encourages Bo to come back to her and says this is their second chance. Kayla joins Hope in the room. Hope hugs her and is thankful she is okay. They tell each other they look beautiful and talk about having Bo back. Kayla checks his file but says it doesn’t say anything they don’t already know. Kayla adds that Bo has a tough fight ahead, but they know what a fighter he is. Hope mentions her dream that he woke up. Kayla says there are so many people praying for Bo to come back to them. Kayla declares that Bo has survived so many things, so they have to have faith that he will survive this too. Ciara arrives and says amen to that as she enters the room and hugs Hope. Ciara looks over and says it’s really him. Ciara sits at Bo’s side and talks to him. Ciara wonders if Bo can hear her. Hope encourages that he knows she’s there. Ciara cries to Bo about how much she’s missed him. Ciara adds that she cannot wait for Bo to meet his grandson. Kayla asks if Ciara saw Shawn on her way in. Ciara confirms that he did and she tried to get him to come with her but he wasn’t ready as he’s blaming himself for what happened. Kayla says she will go talk to him but Shawn then arrives and says she doesn’t have to do that.

Steve knows Roman doesn’t want to go in to see Bo because he’s relieved and happy that he’s alive but also devastated by what he likely did to Kate. Steve argues that they know that wasn’t Bo since he was under Megan’s control. Roman says he wants nothing more than for Bo to come out of this for Hope, their kids, and their whole family. Roman questions how he could ever look Bo in the eyes again and know that he took Kate away from him.

Kayla decides she will go update Steve and Roman in the waiting room, noting that they will be so excited to know Ciara is there. Kayla then exits the room. Shawn apologizes to Hope. Hope hugs him and understands he did what he was trained to do. Shawn doesn’t give a damn because he shot his father. Hope understands that Shawn thought she was in danger and Bo would have wanted him to protect her. Shawn reluctantly agrees and says he should be comforting her right now. Hope claims she’s fine but Ciara asks when she last slept or ate. Hope responds that she’s not hungry and is not leaving until Bo wakes up. Ciara points out that they don’t know how long that will be. Shawn adds that she’s not doing anyone any favors by running herself in to the ground. Hope jokes about ending up with such stubborn children. Hope guesses she could use a shower and a change of clothes. Ciara encourages Hope to take a nap and get some sleep. Hope tells them not to leave the room and to call her immediately if anything changes which they agree to do. Hope kisses Bo and says she will be right back. Hope hugs Ciara and reminds them not to leave until she gets back. Hope then exits the room. Shawn sits at Bo’s side and tells him that he loves him and they need him now more than ever as he pleads for Bo to come back to them.

Andrew questions Harris knowing Bo was alive and not saying anything. Harris admits it was not his finest hour. Harris thought Andrew came to arrest him. Andrew reveals he came to thank him for returning Thomas Banks and the missing prisms to the ISA. Harris asks if he’s still grateful after knowing what he did. Andrew admits the lie was pretty egregious but not exactly criminal. Harris is not sure the rest of his family feels that way. Andrew asks if he’s spoken to Hope. Harris says Hope has enough on her plate and he’s probably the last person she wants to talk to. Harris adds that he did get an earful from Andrew’s cousin Stephanie, who is not his biggest fan.

Stephanie complains to Chad that she could strangle Harris since if he came clean about Bo being alive sooner then Shawn would have never shot Bo. Chad points out that they don’t know that. Stephanie questions if he’s defending Harris. Chad acknowledges that it was a dick move, but adds that Harris did help them with Thomas Banks and practically saved his life. Stephanie accepts that Harris is not irredeemable but close. Stephanie doesn’t know what she would’ve done if she lost Chad. Chad says he’s still here. Stephanie acknowledges that Chad risked his life to help her find her parents. Chad jokes that Thomas Banks forgot his father was The Phoenix, so he’s risen from the ashes a few times. Chad and Stephanie then kiss until Stephanie stops and says she feels guilty because her family is at the hospital rallying around her uncle while she’s here in Chad’s arms. Chad reminds her that her parents said they would call if there’s a change. Chad reminds Stephanie that she’s been there for her brothers, her parents, and for him and his kids when he was at his lowest. Chad tells Stephanie that it’s time to let him be there for her. Stephanie says he talked her in to it as they continue kissing onto the bed.

Kayla informs Steve and Roman that she just got a text from Hope that she’s going back to the hotel to freshen up but she knows she won’t be long. Roman asks if anyone is in the room with Bo now. Kayla confirms that Ciara and Shawn are. Kayla then suggests Roman join them. Steve thinks it’s a good idea for Roman to go see his baby brother. Roman agrees and then exits. Kayla knows how hard this is for Roman. Steve says he’s having a hard time with what they think Bo did to Kate. Kayla points out that they have no way of knowing what really happened. Andrew arrives and greets them. Andrew asks how Bo is. Kayla says he’s in the trauma unit and hasn’t regained consciousness. Andrew mentions tracking down the surgeon who operated on Bo and reveals they found something very interesting in Bo’s brain. Kayla points out that wasn’t in his chart while Steve asks what they found. Andrew then shows them a vial with a microchip inside.

Ciara comments that Bo looks like he’s sleeping. Shawn asks if Ben and baby Bo came with her. Ciara says that Ben wanted to come but she didn’t want to leave baby Bo with a babysitter because she didn’t know how long she would be here. Ciara asks about Belle and Claire. Shawn says they are good. Shawn notes that Belle is checking in on Victor, Doug, and Julie while Claire offered to fly out but he told her to hold off until they knew more. Ciara mentions talking to Chelsea and she wanted to but reveals Chelsea is pregnant too. Ciara jokes that Bo has so many more grandkids coming. Shawn hopes he will be around to meet them. Ciara encourages that he will be. Ciara talks about how Bo will be the most involved grandparent on the planet for many years.

Hope walks outside and prays for God to not take Bo from her again. Hope then heads in to the hotel where she runs in to Harris. Hope asks if he’s leaving. Harris figured it would be best for everybody. Hope asks where he will go. Harris admits he’s not sure. Hope says she just came back to shower and change. Harris asks how Bo is. Hope responds that he’s in a coma and the doctors don’t know if he will ever wake up. Harris tells her that he’s so sorry. Hope questions why Harris didn’t tell her that Bo was alive the moment he found out. Harris admits it was because he’s selfish and he knew the moment that Hope found out, whatever they had would be over. Harris says that is the reason and he knows it’s no excuse but Bo warned him not to because it would put Hope and her family in danger. Hope argues that Harris of all people knows what it’s like to be under Megan’s control. Harris says that’s why he came clean. Hope argues that she trusted him and he should’ve come clean sooner. Harris wishes that he had. Hope decides she should go. Harris stops her and admits he screwed up. Harris says after all the time, he thought they had something real because he’s never had that and he just didn’t want to let go. Harris adds that he really did care about her. Hope admits that she cared about him too. Harris says he knows that Bo is the love of her life. Hope says goodbye to Harris and walks away.

Chad and Stephanie lay in bed together, wishing they could stay like this forever. Chad knows her family needs her. Stephanie says after the Hell that everyone’s been through lately, she prays for it not to get worse. Chad encourages her to be positive. Chad assures he’s there for her and will always be right by her side as they kiss.

Andrew tells Kayla and Steve that the chip being in Bo’s brain would explain how Megan was able to control him as the ISA has dozens of files on the DiMeras using this kind of technology to manipulate people. Steve informs Andrew that they did it to him and made him think he was Stefano. Kayla adds that Dr. Rolf did it to Hope too. Kayla wonders if there is a way to access the memory on the chip. Steve calls that good thinking so they could find out what Bo was up to while under Megan’s control. Andrew decides there’s only one way to find out and pulls out his laptop.

Ciara wakes up from having fallen asleep in the chair in Bo’s hospital room. Ciara tells Shawn that she’s sorry but she didn’t get any sleep on the plane. Shawn suggests she go join Hope at the hotel but Ciara refuses to leave. Roman then enters and agrees with Shawn, joking that big brothers are always right as he and Ciara hug. Roman turns and looks over Bo. Roman says he’s heard Shawn has been beating himself up. Shawn feels he has good reason but everyone’s been letting him off the hook. Shawn argues that he should’ve waited while Roman points out that if he did, Hope could be in the hospital instead. Roman adds that everyone he knows would have done the same thing. Roman hugs Shawn and assures this is not his fault. Roman calls Shawn a damn good man that he is proud of. Roman declares that Megan Hathaway took one of the best men he ever knew and made him do unspeakable things like pulling a gun on the love of his life, kidnapping his own sister, and taking Kate from him. Roman sits at Bo’s side and tells him that he has to come back to them. Roman says they will figure out the rest as family but he has to come back to them. Hope returns and hugs Roman, calling him a sight for sore eyes. Shawn points out that Hope wasn’t gone very long so he hopes she got some sleep. Hope assures that she’s good and asks for some time alone with Bo. Roman says he has to go check with Steve and Kayla anyway. Ciara decides she will call Ben and invites Shawn to come say hi to his nephew. Hope tells them that she loves them. Shawn tells Bo that he will see him soon as he then exits with Ciara and Roman. Hope tells Bo that it’s just them now together and alone, so they need to talk about Harris.

Harris goes to leave the hotel when Chad and Stephanie catch him at the door. Chad questions him leaving. Stephanie mentions that they are on their way to the hospital to see Bo. Harris mentions running in to Hope earlier and that she filled him in. Harris repeats that he’s sorry for not coming clean about Bo sooner. Harris tells Stephanie that he’s happy her parents are safe. Stephanie admits she’s not sure she will ever be able to forgive him for not telling them about Bo sooner, but acknowledges that he did save them from Thomas Banks. Chad says they owe him for that as he would’ve been dead for sure if Harris hadn’t shown up. Harris says he was happy to help and wishes them luck. Harris adds that he hopes Bo wakes up from the coma because he has a lot of people that love him and a lot to live for. Harris then exits the hotel.

Andrew shows Kayla and Steve how his laptop can decode the microchip. Steve hopes it will tell them what was going on in Bo’s head while under Megan’s control. Andrew says it’s possible but it’s also possible that Dr. Rolf engineered the chip to fry his laptop. Roman arrives and asks when Andrew got there. Andrew informs him that he just landed in Greece today. Roman asks what they are looking at. Kayla informs him that the surgeon found a microchip in Bo’s brain. Roman asks if that’s a good thing. Steve hopes it will give them some insight in to Bo’s psyche while Megan was pulling his strings. Roman points out that they could find out what Kate’s last moments were like. Kayla asks if he’s sure he wants those answers. Roman assures that he can handle it. Andrew says he could stop the scan since Megan’s already in prison but it’s up to Roman. Roman orders him to keep going because he needs to know what Bo did to Kate and what happened to her body, feeling he owes that to Kate and her family.

Ciara sits outside finishing a facetime call with Ben and baby Bo. Shawn joins her as Ciara talks about missing them so much. Shawn asks how Ben is doing. Ciara admits Ben is having a really hard time wrapping his head around the fact that Bo is still alive. Ciara recalls giving birth to Bo and having her dad’s spirit come down to Earth to visit her. Ciara adds that Ben saw it too which is how she knows she wasn’t imagining it but she doesn’t how that’s possible if Bo wasn’t really dead. Shawn says it sounds like Bo found a way to her when she needed him the most. Ciara says he always did. Shawn hopes there’s still some of that magic left for Bo to come back to them.

Hope sits at Bo’s side, talking about how Harris said that Bo told him not to tell her that he was alive but she knows that was Megan’s brainwashing talking because she has no doubt that the real Bo wants to be with her as much as she wants to be with him. Hope urges Bo to open his eyes so she can tell him how much she missed and loves him. Angela the nurse appears again and says she had a feeling that they needed a visit from her. Hope worries about Bo not waking up. Angela encourages that Hope and Bo have been through Hell and back to be together, so she can’t give up on him.

Chad and Stephanie find Ciara outside. Stephanie hugs Ciara and says she’s all grown up. Ciara talks about being a mother now. Ciara hugs Chad and says it’s nice to see him. Chad asks about Bo. Ciara says nothing has changed really but Hope is with him now. Stephanie asks if Shawn is there too. Ciara says that Shawn went to go call Claire with an update but notes that Steve, Kayla, and Roman are all up in the waiting room and they will be really happy to see her. Stephanie thanks Ciara and encourages her not to lose faith because if anyone deserves a miracle from above, it’s Bo.

Hope assures Angela that she would never give up but that it’s so hard to see Bo in this condition. Angela says anyone can see how much Bo means to Hope. Hope calls Bo her whole heart and her hero since she was 18. Angela encourages Hope to hold out for her hero and keep fighting for her man. Angela assures Hope that God will hear her and then she disappears. Hope kisses Bo and lays by his side, declaring she will hold out for her hero for as long as it takes. Hope cries that she loves and misses him.

Steve asks Andrew about the chip scanning and it then completes. Roman asks what they have. Andrew finds a video file. Steve questions the chip recording video. Andrew guesses it somehow downloaded Bo’s activity through his field of vision. Roman asks to search for a specific time and date to find Kate for him. Andrew does so and hits play. They watch the video of Bo holding his gun on Kate. The video then reveals that Bo shot straight up above in to the air and did not shoot Kate. Bo then told Kate to go before he changed his mind and Kate ran off. Kayla exclaims that Bo did not shoot Kate. Roman declares that this could mean that Kate is alive but wonders where the hell she is.

Kate is somewhere on a boat, cutting up fish.

Days of Our Lives Update

Xander gets out of the shower and is surprised when Chloe shows up at his door.

Eric and Sloan eat together at the Brady Pub. Eric gets a text from Brady that he’s on his way as he needs to talk about something. Sloan says she will let them talk. Eric stops her and points out that she just wondered who would’ve drugged the biscuits if not Chanel. Sloan says she has a lot of enemies, so she should probably hire a private investigator or throw a wrench in to the police investigation. Brady then arrives and says he’s sorry as he didn’t know Eric was busy. Sloan says it’s fine as she was just leaving. Sloan tells Eric not to worry as she will figure everything out like she always does. Sloan kisses Eric goodbye and exits the Pub. Brady sits down and questions Eric and Sloan still being a thing. Eric confirms they are. Brady then remarks that everybody hates her.

Paulina remains at the Bakery, trying to entice customers with free samples. Chanel joins her and says it’s no use as people are too scared to taste their goods. Chanel complains that Sloan lost two court cases and won’t slow down, so since she can’t put her in jail, she’s trying to run her business in to the ground. Paulina assures that they won’t let that happen. Paulina suggests they go home to come up with a plan. Chanel says she can’t leave as she has to stay here and close up to get ready for tomorrow. Paulina offers to help but Chanel says she wants to do it herself so she can clear her head. Chanel adds that she sent Talia home to have some alone time. Paulina hugs her and says she’ll see her at home then. Chanel thanks her for trying to help. Paulina assures that she’s always there for her. Chanel then heads back inside the bakery.

Rafe questions Jada saying that what Talia said wasn’t true and asks if she lied to him. Jada says no as that would be assuming too much. Jada informs Rafe that something Talia said doesn’t line up with what really happened. Rafe says it’s obviously really bothering Jada so she needs to tell him what it is.

Talia arrives at the hotel room of a man, who says it’s about time as he brings her inside and they begin kissing. They say how much they missed each other. Talia apologizes for being late and says the police just wanted to question her again. The man questions why and asks if they are suspicious. Talia assures they are not at all and they just wanted to go over the timeline of when the biscuits got doctored. Talia insists that they have no idea that he is the one who put her up to it. He states that going after Chanel and her bakery was his idea, but argues that saying he put her up to it is kind of harsh. He asks if they are not in this together. Talia assures that they are and that she agreed to do this, but it’s a little hard when she’s the only one out there while he just has to lay low. He says it’s hard for him too and reveals himself to be Sloan’s brother, Colin, as he mentions that it was his mother that Chanel pushed off the roof. Talia apologizes for saying he put her up to it since she wanted to help him and she still does. He tells her how grateful he is and that he knows how much she’s done for him as they kiss. He notes her worried look again and asks what it is now. Talia responds that it’s not just about her but Sloan because the police are going after her as their number one suspect and she has no idea that her own brother is behind what happened.

Eric acknowledges that a lot of people do hate Sloan, but he’s not one of them and they decided to take their relationship to the next level. Brady congratulates him and says he’s just heard the rumors that Sloan tampered with the biscuits. Eric assures that they are just rumors since he was one of the victims. Brady is surprised and asks what the hell that was like. Eric claims it was hard to remember and he doesn’t like to talk about it. Eric admits at first he thought Sloan tampered with the dough, but he is his alibi which is why he knows she had nothing to do with it. Brady says he’s just looking out for him. Eric knows he’s not here to talk about Sloan. Brady admits he came to talk about Chloe and how to keep that bastard Xander away from her.

Chloe turns away until Xander puts his pants on. Chloe apologizes for not calling first. Xander calls it unexpected but says he does have a small window of time since his zoom call with Jack got pushed back. Chloe says to send her lvove when he speaks to Jack. Chloe adds that she brought him a plant since she had a hard time finding a card that said sorry for almost killing him with a dart. Xander thanks her and says he’s healing nicely. Chloe questions him about changing the bandage which he hasn’t done. Chloe offers to change it for him since he saved her from the drugged biscuits. Chloe tells Xander to change the bandage every day which he promises to do. Xander jokes that he won’t do it as good as her. They talk about his room not being the cleanest. Xander says the place is no longer indicative of his financial status since he was broke when he moved in. Xander notes that he’s been saving up some money, so he thinks he’s finally ready to move in to a new place. Chloe says she also needs a new place.

Brady tells Eric that every time he sees Chloe, Xander is there, hovering around, playing darts, and obviously gunning for her. Brady complains that Chloe has been hurt recently by things he’s said so she may be open to Xander. Eric asks if anything has happened yet. Brady says not that he knows of. Eric advises him not to get worked up for no reason since they could just be hanging out. Eric encourages that Chloe is smart and will see right through Xander’s act. Brady brings up that Nicole is smart as well and didn’t exactly see through Xander’s act either. Eric admits he has a good point.

Colin tells Talia that it’s nice of her to worry about his sister, but they knew going in that the cops would suspect Sloan and he damn sure didn’t want them worrying about Talia since she put so much on the line. Talia thinks back to walking through the town square while Paulina and Chanel were arguing with Sloan which is when she stole Paulina’s keys from her purse. Talia assures Colin that there is no evidence linking Sloan since she stole the keys to trash Paulina’s office, so there was no forced entry. Colin adds that they can’t know anything else because Sloan is innocent and a damn good lawyer so she won’t let them railroad her. Talia thinks they should probably tell Sloan what they are doing but Colin says no because that would make her an accessory and she would never go for something like this. Colin adds that Sloan had to pump the brakes after losing the court case to Paulina and Chanel as she would never risk her law license by doing something illegal which is why they had to step in and change the game.

Jada goes over that Talia told Rafe that she went straight home after leaving Paulina’s place after all this went down, but she didn’t because Jada was there and Talia didn’t come home until hours later. Rafe asks how she knows it was the same night. Jada says she vividly remembers because it was when she and Rafe admitted they had feelings for each other.

Chanel leaves the Bakery and runs in to Alex in the town square. Alex asks if he read right in the Spectator that Chanel is engaged to Johnny DiMera. Chanel explains that she and Johnny had her breakfast biscuits which were tainted with a hallucinogen and she told Leo that, but to him the truth is just an irrelevant detail. Alex guesses Leo just wrote whatever he thinks will sell papers. Chanel adds that is to the morons who actually read it. Alex says he knows she’s still pissed at him over everything that happened with Allie. Chanel calls that another topic she doesn’t want to talk about. Alex says the whole thing with drugging the biscuits is ridiculous and he feels for her as he can only imagine what it’s doing to her business. Chanel admits it’s killing it which is exactly why his little girlfriend Sloan did it. Alex clarifies that she is not his girlfriend and that they only hooked up but that was over a long time ago. Chanel then suggests maybe it shouldn’t be over as if he’s really sorry about what happened with Allie, he can make it up to her by getting Sloan back in his bed. Alex questions why she wants that. Chanel explains that he can sweet talk her like crazy and then screw a confession out of her. Alex asks if she’s kidding. Chanel complains that the cops keep saying they don’t have proof that Sloan is doing these things to her and Paulina when it’s obvious it’s her which means someone outside of the police needs to talk to her and that is Alex. Chanel suggests he just call Sloan, tell her he misses her, then show her a good time and steer the conversation. Alex asks if she’s under the influence. Alex tells Chanel that he does feel for her but he’s not doing it. Chanel questions why not, arguing that it’s not out of character for him. Alex informs her that he’s sort of hooking up with somebody else now. Chanel asks when that’s ever stopped him and suggests he just make it a threesome since they know he has experience with that. Chanel begs Alex and says she would forgive him for everything in the past if he would just do whatever it takes to get her what she needs and stop this nightmare with Sloan.

Sloan finishes leaving a message outside the Pub, assuring her brother Colin that everything is going to be okay. She then turns and spots Leo. She calls him a bottom feeding hack. Leo argues that she can’t still be upset about the article he wrote about her ages ago. Sloan assures that she is and then informs Leo that she has some dirt for his next column. Sloan tells Leo that it’s about the police commissioner and his trusty detective, saying it practically writes itself.

Jada questions if Rafe forgot it was the same night that they opened up about their feelings. Rafe admits that he did. Jada explains that it was awkward, so she went straight home and the next day, Rafe was drugged by the biscuits. Rafe apologizes again for his behavior. Jada says it’s fine and the point is, she remembers exactly what time it was so she knows for a fact that Talia did not come straight home from Paulina’s. Rafe states that Jada is obviously convinced that Talia is not telling them the truth, so he asks what she wants to do about it.

Talia admits to Colin that getting involved in everything was the last thing she expected when moving to New York. Colin says when they met, there was an immediate connection. Talia thinks putting her medical career on hold proves she felt it too. Colin assures that he will make it up to her and that no one is suspicious. Talia’s phone then rings with a call from Jada. Talia doesn’t know why she would be calling when she just left her. Colin suggests letting it go to voicemail but Talia argues that she always answers her phone calls. Talia then answers and asks Jada what’s up. Jada reminds her that she said they might need to clear things up after her interview which Talia questions. Colin has Talia put the call on speaker phone as Jada explains that it’s about something Talia said as she said she went straight home after leaving Paulina’s, but she wasn’t home. Talia claims that she had a headache, so she went to the drug store and got aspirin. Jada questions it taking that long. Talia then claims she took a walk to the lake, thinking the night air might help her headache. Jada guesses it did since she never mentioned it. Talia says she just wanted to go to sleep when she got home and asks if there’s anything else. Jada thinks that’s about it so Talia says she’ll talk to her later and quickly hangs up. Rafe asks Jada if something is wrong. Jada says he could say that.

Leo questions Sloan saying she has dirt on Rafe, who he refers to as Captain America. Leo argues that people read his column for dirt on people like Sloan, not Rafe. Sloan asks if he doesn’t think people would be interested in Rafe being high on drugs and macking on his lead detective. Leo hopes she means Shawn but Sloan clarifies that it’s Jada. Leo then asks who cares about a little action between co-workers. Sloan explains that it flies right in the face of Abe’s new policy which means he could launch a campaign to get Abe to have to enforce his own policy, so he could blow up the mayor’s office and the Salem police department. Sloan states that Leo would be a force to be reckoned with in Salem. Leo acknowledges that Sloan would also get what she wants as the two cops on her ass would be out on their own. Sloan says most importantly, she just thinks everyone should know the truth.

Eric tells Brady that when Nicole succumbed to Xander, she was saddled with an arrogant, self-absorbed and neglectful husband in himself. Brady thinks his situation with Chloe is a lot more like Eric and Nicole than they think. Brady says he hasn’t been the best boyfriend while Kristen and Rachel treated Chloe like dirt as he basically told her to deal with it. Eric advises Brady to forget Xander and says he’s not the problem, but a symptom. Brady then declares that he is the problem.

Xander doesn’t know why Chloe is so eager to move and says the Salem Inn is great. Chloe complains about the bill and she’s out of work while running through her savings but adds that it’s more than that. Chloe argues that an inn is a place you stay when on you’re way to somewhere else and she’s not, with Brady or Rachel. Chloe repeats that she doesn’t have a job or a life and she just wants a place that belongs to her. Chloe adds that she can’t afford it, so she’s worried about ending up in a place like this. Xander points out that Chloe needs a place that is a step down from where she lives while he needs a step up, so he suggests they take that step together and find a place together. Chloe responds that it sounds horrifying. Xander thought she sparked the idea. Chloe points out that he’s only recently been nice to her but he owns a newspaper while she wouldn’t be able to afford half the rent. Xander explains that they won’t split rent and offers to let Chloe keep the place clean in place of rent for the time being. Chloe remarks that it sounds like he needs a housekeeper, not a roommate. Xander says that one of the most irritating things about becoming friends with her and liking her is wanting to atone for what he did in the past. Xander adds that Chloe would be helping him by allowing him to lend a hand to a friend who is broke. Chloe tells Xander that it’s sweet. Xander swears it would be completely platonic and he will be neater. Xander asks if they are officially in negotiations.

Chanel laughs at Alex being in sex therapy with Allie’s grandma. Alex says it’s just therapy and not funny, then admits it’s a little funny. Alex knows she has a million things she could throw in his face and he knows it’s ridiculous that he’s saying no to using sex for nefarious purposes. Chanel realizes he’s serious about this. Alex explains that Marlena is starting to make him realize that he’s pretty screwed up. Alex adds that he would love to help her throw Sloan back in her cage, but he cannot sleep with her or he’ll end up right back where he started.

Colin tells Talia that they are a great team and totally dodged a bullet. Talia disagrees and argues that Jada knows her, so her alibi being that she just forgot won’t fly. Talia apologizes and says she wasn’t thinking. Talia complains that they separated her and Chanel, so she didn’t know what she said and she was dealing with the police commissioner. Colin gets it but says it’s just really important to him because that bitch killed his mother. Talia says she thought so, but now she’s confused because she knows Paulina and Chanel and they seem like really nice people. Colin calls it an act. Talia doesn’t think so because Chanel told her about everything in London. Colin complains that unless Chanel told her about pushing his mom off the roof and that Paulina flew over to cover it all up, then she did not tell her everything. Colin then apologizes for getting so worked up as this is so triggering for him. Colin calls it extremely important. Talia promises that she knows that. Colin asks Talia if she is still on his side.

Rafe asks Jada what is bothering her. Jada says it’s vague but it didn’t feel like she was talking to her sister. Rafe asks if she can figure out why. Jada says that Talia is always a stream of consciousness all over the map but this was like she was hesitating to answer her questions. Rafe suggests maybe she was just trying to remember but Jada states that Talia’s memory is scary as she can remember what she did for her 12th birthday. Jada questions Talia now forgetting that she had a headache and a walk around the lake. Jada adds that Talia also forgot to turn on the security cameras. Rafe tells Jada that if this is too much, he can have her put on another case because the department cannot ask any officer to investigate their own. Jada thanks him but says it’s too late to back off now.

Eric encourages Brady to have a little more faith in Chloe. Eric states that Xander may make a play for her but Chloe knows exactly what he’s capable of. Brady can’t imagine Chloe would involve herself with Xander after what he put her through. Eric adds that Chloe also knows what Xander did to Nicole and assures that Chloe won’t let Xander enter her life in any meaningful way. Brady agrees and remarks that Chloe and Xander hang out and play darts but it’s not like they are moving in together…

Xander and Chloe look at potential places to live. Xander says it won’t hurt to go look and suggests they find a place to move in together.

Chanel promises Alex that she won’t make any more jokes and calls it brave that he’s going to therapy. Alex agrees though he’s not sure he wants to know who he really is. Alex says that’s enough about him when Chanel is going through Hell. Alex offers to give Chanel a loan to help her while her business is down. Chanel says that’s sweet of him but she could get a loan from her mother if she needed. Chanel adds that all the money in the world can’t buy her back her customers. Chanel says as much as all of this sucks, Alex offering her a loan is generous and her new employee offered to work for free. Chanel talks up Talia as being amazing and says she’s only worked here a short time, but it’s like this whole thing has hit Talia just as much as it’s hit her.

Colin tells Talia that she can’t let Chanel and Paulina get in her head. Colin adds that they have nothing to feel guilty about and they are the good guys here. Talia suggests maybe they should back off a bit and give things time to go away. Colin argues that they can’t do that and they have to keep applying pressure. Colin says that Talia will just have to be really careful of what she says to her sister. Talia decides she should get going. Colin tells Talia that he needs her as he can’t do any of this without her. Colin tells Talia that he loves her and kisses her. Talia says she loves him too and then exits. Talia then runs in to Chloe and Xander in the hall. Chloe recognizes Talia from the bakery. Xander asks if she’s the one who sold Chloe a tained biscuit. Talia says she did and she’s sorry. Talia repeats that she’s really sorry and hurries off. Chloe asks Xander if that was really necessary since she didn’t even eat the biscuit. Chloe remarks that Talia just works there so it’s not like it’s her fault…

Jada tells Rafe that she just keeps thinking about how Talia gets out of medical school and then becomes a baker in Salem. Jada adds that as a doctor, Talia would have access to the drugs that were put in the dough. Rafe asks why when Talia didn’t even know Chanel until she got here and they seem to get along. Rafe adds that she doesn’t seem like a disgruntled employee. Jada confirms that Talia always said she loves the job. Rafe questions what Talia’s motive would be then and why she would decide to drug half the town. Jada agrees that it makes no sense, so it has to be someone else with a real motive which brings them back to Sloan.

Leo asks Sloan about the cops being all over her because of how she’s been all over Paulina. Sloan insists that she didn’t trash Paulina’s office or drug the biscuits. Leo asks what better way to get the cops off her ass by getting Rafe and Jada off the force. Sloan argues that she saw them with her own eyes so all Leo has to do is keep her name out of it and quote an anonymous source. Leo questions if she really thinks a column by him will be enough to throw the investigation off track. Sloan suggests they should find out.

Days of Our Lives Update

Gabi and Stefan wake up in bed together. They talk about how they used to live in the DiMera Mansion as they kiss. Stefan says now they are back where they belong and soon Gabi’s divorce to Li will be final and they’ll be together forever. They decide to go for another round and continue kissing in bed.

EJ sits in the living room and thinks back to hearing Nicole on the phone about keeping a secret from him. Nicole walks in and points out that he hasn’t touched his breakfast, so she asks for his thoughts.

Eric and Sloan have breakfast at the Brady Pub. Eric points out that she has hardly touched her breakfast and guesses she’s still thinking about Paulina’s rant. Sloan complains that every time something awful happens, she gets blamed for it and it’s so unfair. Sloan apologizes and says she should focus on the positives like her and Eric officially being a thing now so to hell with everything else. Melinda then walks in and accuses Sloan of drugging everyone’s breakfast in Salem.

Rafe greets Jada at the police station and promises that he’s not hallucinating anymore and even skipped breakfast to be sure. Abe arrives and declares that he is not happy with them. Rafe asks what’s wrong. Abe says he doesn’t give a damn about the kiss between them while Rafe was hallucinating but complains that there has been no arrest in this drugging debacle and the only person to pay the price is Chanel. Abe questions what the holdup is and why Sloan is still walking the streets.

Chanel and Talia are at the Bakery as Chanel complains about no customers coming anymore. Talia apologizes and says the breakfast biscuits were her recipe so she feels guilty. Chanel asks why since it’s not like she drugged the biscuits so she asks what she’s feeling guilty about. Talia thinks back to drugging the biscuits. Paulina then arrives and greets them. Chanel offers her a bear claw but Paulina says she’s not in the mood.

Nicole reminds EJ that he asked for her thoughts earlier and asks if something is bothering him. EJ claims he’s just tired and complains about the racket coming from Stefan’s room last night.

Gabi and Stefan joke about being heard downstairs and say they love each other. Gabi says she could stay like this with him all day. Stefan reminds her that they have pretty important plans today as they kiss.

Sloan tells Melinda that it’s one thing for Paulina to make an accusation with no proof but calls it despicable and unethical for someone with a law degree to do the same. Melinda argues that Sloan is the only person that hates Chanel enough to want to kill her business. Melinda adds that the idea of Chanel and Paulina framing Sloan is ridiculous. Eric points out that there is no evidence so this is slander. Melinda calls this personal since she was drugged and ended up assaulting Stefan DiMera and spending the night at the hospital with Rafe in the room across from her. Sloan asks why she should give a damn since she had nothing to do with it. Melinda warns that Sloan has caught the wrong powerful people in her net. Melinda declares that she will make sure Sloan goes down for this and goes away for a long time.

Rafe tells Abe that they don’t have the evidence they need to tie Sloan to any of this. Abe questions there being no fingerprints or security footage. Rafe mentions that Jada interviewed Chanel and Talia, who accidentally left the security camera off. Jada mentions that Talia is still new at the job. Abe repeats that Sloan is still walking the streets. Jada points out that they can’t be sure it was Sloan.

Chanel assures Paulina that they checked the security footage this morning so no one could have tampered with these. Paulina admits she was worried about everyone being drugged but she knows there’s no way they could have been tampered with this time, so she’ll take a tray of bear claws to support her. Paulina talks about how much she loves the bakery. Chanel says she doesn’t have to prove anything as they know she’s on their side. Chanel cries that the business is doing really bad for the first time ever and they all know Sloan is to blame. Chanel complains that Sloan came to Salem to ruin her and now she is succeeding as her plan to destroy her is going really well. Paulina hugs Chanel as Talia watches on. Paulina swears she won’t stand by while Sloan continues to attack them. Paulina’s phone rings so she says she’ll be right back as she goes to answer it. Chanel tells Talia that she loves her mom, but Paulina can’t convince everyone to trust their treats. Chanel worries that she won’t be able to keep Talia hired. Talia tells her not to worry about her right now and encourages that they will be fine. Talia insists the bakery will make a grand recovery and be better than ever. Chanel appreciates her optimism but remains uncertain and tells Talia to keep her options open. Talia states that she is a baker now and this is where she belongs. Chanel repeats that there is zero money coming in and she can’t work for free. Talia says she can because she believes in her. Talia knows she’s new to all of this but says working with Chanel feels right like it was meant to be. Chanel calls her the best and hugs her.

Abe questions if Rafe and Jada are saying they believe Sloan is innocent. Jada repeats that they have no evidence, so it’s her job to study the facts and keep an open mind. Rafe agrees and asks if it’s possible that Abe is still close to this which could be clouding his judgment. Abe admits it is deeply personal. Abe declares that he loves his family and this town while right now, both are under attack.

Sloan tells Melinda that she can make threats but if the cops had anything on her, she’d be in custody. Melinda calls it fairly obvious that the crime happened the night before so she suggests Sloan work on inventing an alibi. Eric steps in and informs her that she doesn’t have to because Sloan was with him all night. Melinda says they better hope someone can back them up but Eric says when they spend the night together, it’s just the two of them together.

EJ complains to Nicole about Stefan moving Gabi back in to his family home without consulting him and says he should start eviction proceedings. Stefan walks in and reminds EJ that his name is on the deed since he owned the place before being shot. Gabi joins him and remarks that it feels wonderful to be back home. Stefan calls it a beautiful day. EJ warns that there could be a storm coming. Stefan remarks that he wouldn’t want to get caught in it and decides they better get to work. EJ says he’s heading there too and he’s sure Nicole and Gabi can hold things down here. Stefan then reveals that Gabi is coming with them because he hired her. EJ questions Stefan not running it by him and suggests he go ahead and fire her which they argue over. EJ reminds Stefan that as co-CEOs, every executive level hire must be approved by both of them. Stefan explains that Gabi is not coming on as an executive. Nicole jokes that she must be joining the custodial staff. Stefan reveals that Gabi will be a consultant which he doesn’t need approval on. Stefan remarks that it looks like EJ got caught in the rain.

Sloan asks Melinda if she’s going to put an ex-priest in front of a jury and accuse him of lying. Melinda suggests reminding the jury that Eric posed illegally as a paralegal to interfere in a police investigation which she recalls Sloan not being too happy about it but remarks that things have changed. Sloan tells Melinda that she can go now because they would like to enjoy their breakfast alone in peace, so Melinda then walks out of the Pub. Sloan thanks Eric for having her back. Eric encourages that she did great and asks what’s wrong. Sloan knows she came off confident and it seems like she can prove her innocence, but she admits she’s terrified that they are coming for her and they’re not going to miss.

Rafe tells Jada that the trick seems to be nailing down exactly when the biscuits got drugged. Jada agrees that will help eliminate suspects and suggests starting now. Jada figures they should start from the beginning with the source.

Paulina joins Chanel and Talia and tries to convince customers to come to the Bakery. Chanel then gets a call from Jada and asks if she arrested Sloan. Jada responds that the investigation is still ongoing so she wants to go over everything with her again. Chanel says she already told her everything she knows which isn’t much. Chanel says she gets it and hangs up. Chanel informs Talia that she has to go to the police station and they want Talia there too.

EJ tells Stefan that they have no need for a consultant. Stefan says they have an urgent need and he hopes Gabi can assist them in building the company to get rid of as much waste as possible. Gabi can’t wait to dive right in. Stefan declares that Gabi’s first order of business will be to evaluate EJ. EJ argues that he’s been focusing on the day to day of the company while Stefan has been wasting company time trying to divert Li’s shares to Gabi. EJ decides he might need a consultant of his own and asks Nicole if she’s interested in the position. Nicole reminds EJ that she has a job at Basic Black. EJ says she has served them well there but at Basic Black, she is off on her own with Brady and working remotely. EJ invites Nicole to come aboard at DiMera Enterprises where she can work by his side and make great use of her talents. Nicole calls it sudden but accepts the job. EJ declares that it will be one big happy family at corporate headquarters from now on.

Paulina remains at the Bakery and tries calling out free samples to customers. Abe comes by and jokes about changing her careers. Paulina complains that Sloan’s attacks have hit Chanel’s business harder than they could have imagined. Paulina encourages Abe to try a sample to help convince the customers. Abe hesitates but accepts and calls it delicious. Abe shouts out that it’s the perfect way to start their day but Paulina points out that still no one is coming. Abe calls it a shame and asks where Chanel is. Paulina explains that Rafe and Jada called her and Talia to the police station to go over everything that happened. Paulina hopes they can finally burst Sloan’s balloon.

Chanel and Talia go to the police station. Rafe thanks them for coming back in. Chanel thinks they would save a lot of time by just arresting Sloan. Jada assures that if the evidence leads to Sloan, they will do just that. Jada suggests Chanel stay and have a chat. Talia questions them talking to them separately. Rafe explains that they will take both accounts with no distractions. Rafe then takes Talia to the interrogation room. Jada sits with Chanel and thanks her again for coming in. Chanel repeats that she’s already told her everything she knows. Jada wants her to tell her everything again starting from baking the biscuits. Chanel states that it was Talia’s recipe.

Rafe tells Talia that he knows this is intense but promises it’s just routine so she has no need to be nervous. Talia assures that she’s not nervous and wants to help find whoever is doing this to her friend Chanel and trying to ruin her business and her life.

Chanel tells Jada that all their ingredients were delivered by their regular service that afternoon, so they couldn’t have been tampered with before they got to work and they didn’t stray from Talia’s recipe.

Talia talks to Rafe about making a lot of biscuits and giving away free samples then they set aside the dough.

Chanel tells Jada about closing the Bakery a little earlier, she and Talia went their separate ways, and then she went home to Paulina.

Talia reminds Rafe that after closing down, she came to the police station and talked to him. Rafe recalls she was looking for Jada. Talia admits maybe she was a little too pushy in talking about Rafe’s possible feelings for Jada. Rafe asks where Talia went after leaving the station. Talia says she went back to the town square.

Chanel tells Jada that she went back to the town square to pick up dinner for her and Paulina and she was really angry after Paulina told her about Sloan’s threatening texts, then she ran in to Sloan.

Talia tells Rafe that she got to the square just in time because Chanel and Sloan were having a knock down, drag out fight, so she had to stop them. Talia mentions Sloan saying cruel things about Chanel and Paulina and then stormed off. Talia adds that Chanel was very upset and had a cut on her arm, so she tried to calm her down.

Chanel tells Jada about how Talia patched her up with the first aid kit at the bakery and the dough was still there, resting and untouched. Chanel mentions they turned off the security system when they went in so no one could have gotten in before then.

Talia tells Rafe that when they were done, Chanel invited her to have dinner with her and her family which excited her so much that she forgot to turn the alarm back on and guesses she wasn’t thinking.

Chanel tells Jada that she returned to work at 5 AM which Jada notes leaves 12 hours unaccounted for.

Talia blames herself and can’t believe she forgot to turn the alarm back on.

Chanel tells Jada that it’s not Talia’s fault as it’s not like she was in the habit of turning the security system on as she hasn’t been working there that long. Jada asks about dinner. Chanel says there’s not much to tell and that they just had dinner from the bistro and sat around talking.

Talia tells Rafe that she went straight home after dinner.

Chanel tells Jada that she knows the rest and it was a total disaster. Rafe and Talia then come out from the interrogation room. Rafe thanks Chanel and Talia for coming in again. Chanel hopes it helps them lock up Sloan for good as she’s the only one who would do this. Talia agrees and can’t think of anyone else who would want to hurt Chanel like this. Jada tells Talia that she will see her at home later. Chanel tells Talia that she’s just going to go lock up for the day. Talia encourages that customers will come back as they exit. Melinda arrives and asks if there’s a new development. Rafe says they were just going over the timeline. Melinda says they have their work cut out for them as she just saw Sloan and she has a solid alibi in Eric Brady spending the night with her. Jada argues that Sloan could have slipped out during the night while Eric was asleep. Melinda wishes her luck proving that and asks if there are any other suspects. Jada says they are working on it.

Sloan calls it a hell of a way to start the day. Eric encourages that the truth is on her side. Sloan worries that doesn’t matter but insists that she did not drug the dough. Sloan says someone did and made everyone in town go totally nuts, including Eric and Nicole.

Nicole tells EJ that he outdid himself and she was impressed. EJ knows he put her on the spot but he knew he could count on her as he hugs her. Stefan and Gabi come downstairs and ask if they are ready to go. Stefan suggests they carpool and tells EJ to drive as they exit the mansion.

Eric asks Sloan who else has it in for Chanel. Sloan complains that everyone in town seems to love Chanel and Paulina. Sloan notes that Melinda did make one good point that Chanel and Paulina wouldn’t hurt Chanel’s business just to get at her. Eric agrees and says they first must figure out who the intended target was. Sloan wonders if it was Chanel or her.

Rafe and Jada go over when Chanel and Talia left the bakery without setting the security system and then they both had dinner with Paulina and Abe. Rafe notes that Talia went straight home while Chanel stayed behind and they didn’t see each other again until 5 AM the next morning. Jada stops and questions what he just said.

Chanel returns to the town square and thanks Paulina for watching over the Bakery and says she’s just going to close up for the day. Paulina asks how it went at the police station. Chanel says she will fill her in later, but worries that she’s going to lose her bakery. Paulina promises that she won’t let that happen and offers to cook a meal for her and Talia tonight and then they can figure out how to get her business running again. Chanel calls that really sweet but says she already sent Talia home for the day.

Talia goes to someone’s hotel room.

Rafe doesn’t understand as he just asked Jada what happened after Talia and Chanel left the Bakery but she hasn’t answered and seems kinda upset. Jada reveals that she just realized what Talia told him is not true.

Talia arrives at the hotel room of a man, who says it’s about time as he brings her inside and they begin kissing.

Johnny sits in the town square and tries to call Wendy but she doesn’t answer. Chanel approaches and asks if something is wrong. Johnny informs her that Wendy is rejecting his calls and is obviously still upset about him proposing to Chanel. Chanel asks if Wendy heard they were drugged., like everyone else who ate the tainted biscuits. Johnny says apparently not because Wendy left town to see Tripp.

In Seattle, Washington, Wendy tells Tripp that Johnny called her four more times, so she blocked him. Tripp questions why Johnny is calling her if he’s marrying Chanel. Wendy guesses Johnny wants to alleviate his guilt but refuses to give him the satisfaction. Wendy declares that she doesn’t want to deal with Johnny, especially since she and Tripp are technically on their first date. Tripp asks how it’s going for her. Wendy says it’s going great and she can’t wait to see what he has planned next.

In Greece, Chad and Stephanie thank Harris for rescuing them from Thomas Banks. Kayla asks who he is, so Stephanie introduces her to Harris. Harris tells her that he’s glad she’s safe. Kayla points out that she is, but Steve isn’t and he’s being held captive. Stephanie says that Harris will never believe who kidnapped her parents. Harris reveals that he actually knows who it was.

At the edge of the cliff in Greece, Bo declares that the only way he can be the man he’s meant to be is to get rid of Hope. Bo then aims his gun at Hope. Hope says no and tells Bo to listen to her. Hope calls him Bo Brady and says that is who he is, the best man she knows and the love of her life which will never change. Hope adds that she knows his love for her is never going to change no matter what he says or does. Hope declares that the one fundamental truth between them is that they love each other to the very depths of their soul. Bo continues having flashbacks. Hope adds that no matter what happens here, nothing will ever extinguish their love. Hope says so many people tried to keep them apart but they couldn’t do it and they’ve overcome every obstacle in their way. Hope says Bo can tell himself that he’s better off without her but he will never believe it. Hope adds that his heart is tugging at him because it’s the truest part of him and it knows he belongs with her. Hope reminds Bo that she is his Fancyface as they flashback to their relationship over the years. Bo holds back tears as Hope seems to have gotten through to him, but Shawn and Steve arrive and upon seeing Bo holding Hope at gunpoint, Shawn shoots Bo. Hope then rushes to Bo’s side to check on him and cries over him on the ground.

Chad asks how Harris knows it was Bo that kidnapped Steve and Kayla. Harris explains that he ran in to Bo at Victor’s childhood home. Stephanie questions him not saying anything. Harris apologizes for not speaking up sooner. Chad understands he didn’t want to lose Hope. Stephanie argues that her parents lives were in danger. Harris says that he asked Bo where Kayla was but he denied it, so he just believed that Bo would not hurt his own sister. Stephanie asks what if he did. Harris admits he was wrong for not telling everybody and he’s sorry. Harris adds that he finally came clean to Hope. Kayla asks if he told her about Bo. Harris says he sent her to the villa but he didn’t tell her that Bo is alive. Kayla says that she obviously knows now and she can’t imagine what Hope is going through.

Hope breaks down crying over Bo. Steve takes Shawn’s phone to call for help. Shawn apologizes to Hope and says he saw that Bo had his gun pointed at Hope. Hope understands but insists that Bo wasn’t going to hurt her. Shawn asks how she knows since Harris said that Bo had been brainwashed. Hope declares that she got through to him and Bo came back to her as she cries over his body.

Chanel tells Johnny that she’s sorry to hear that Wendy left town, but suggests giving her space and then explaining what happened when she gets back. Johnny worries that Wendy and Tripp could be together by then. Chanel asks what else he can do. Johnny says he was going to go to Seattle tonight but his flight got cancelled. Johnny then gets an alert that his texts are not going through so he realizes Wendy blocked his number. Johnny declares that the drugged biscuits really screwed everything up. Chanel says he can blame Sloan for that. Johnny asks if the police proved it was her. Chanel says not yet but it’s so obvious. Johnny tells Chanel that he’s really sorry she’s going through all of this. Leo approaches and calls them Salem’s newly engaged couple, then asks when the wedding day is.

Tripp admits to Wendy that he hadn’t thought of anything else for their date yet but he’s not giving up. Tripp decides they are going out. Wendy suggests going to the club. Tripp jokes about his bad dance moves so they decide against that. Tripp suggests going to the pier and riding the Ferris wheel but Wendy is afraid of getting stuck. Tripp encourages that it will be fun. Wendy says they can just stay home but Tripp insists that she didn’t come all this way just to hang out in the apartment. Tripp promises that the Ferris wheel won’t get stuck and then they can walk along the pier and have cotton candy. Tripp vows to show her a good time, even if it kills him. Wendy accepts and they exit together.

Kayla says maybe seeing Hope will shake off Bo’s brainwashing. Kayla adds that Bo couldn’t bring himself to hurt Steve so she can’t imagine he would hurt Hope. Chad asks if he’s been in touch. Harris says no but Shawn arrived and went straight there, so he’s hoping to hear soon. Kayla feels they can’t wait since Steve is in trouble, so they need to go rescue him. Harris feels he’s the last person that Hope will want to see, so he will stay back and turn Thomas Banks in to local authorities. Stephanie tells him that he can’t because Thomas bribed them last time to get free. Harris decides he’ll contact the ISA then and return the prisms as well. Chad and Stephanie exit. Harris stops Kayla and tells her that he regrets not telling her the truth sooner and he’s really sorry as he just didn’t want to lose Hope.

Hope gets Bo in a hospital where doctors work to revive him as his blood pressure is dropping. They tell Hope she can’t be there but she refuses to leave until she knows he’s okay. Bo then flatlines so the doctor calls for the paddles.

Steve checks on Shawn. Shawn doesn’t know how he’s feeling as he is trying to process that his father is alive and now because of him, they might lose him all over again. Steve encourages that Bo is a fighter and after everything he’s been through, he doesn’t think one bullet will take him down. Shawn agrees that Bo has to be okay.

The doctor tries to revive Bo but are unsuccessful as Hope pleads with them. The doctor informs Hope that he’s so sorry but Bo is gone. Hope breaks down crying for Bo to wake up.

Leo tells Johnny and Chanel to give him all the details. Chanel doesn’t know what he’s heard. Leo responds that he heard all the tea as his sources told him that Johnny proposed to Chanel again and she said yes again. Johnny admits that’s true. Leo asks Chanel to show off the ring but Chanel says there isn’t one which Leo questions. Johnny hopes Leo will stop talking and go away as he shouts that he and Chanel are not getting married. Leo says he doesn’t have to yell and questions them being on again, off again. Chanel clarifies that Johnny is not interested in her anymore. Leo then asks if there’s someone else, claiming he won’t print it and is just curious. Chanel points out that if Johnny doesn’t tell him, he’ll just make something up. Johnny responds that he’s dating Wendy Shin. Leo notes that must have been awkward and asks how Wendy handled the news of his engagement.

Tripp and Wendy return to the apartment. Wendy jokes that when he said he’d show her a good time even if it killed him, she didn’t think he was being literal. Tripp points out that he told her the Ferris wheel wouldn’t get stuck while Wendy notes that they did not actually get on the Ferris wheel. Tripp wonders if he’s the only one to trip and fall while getting on to the Ferris wheel. Wendy laughs about how funny it was. Tripp complains that he injured himself while Wendy calls it just a bruise. Wendy adds that Tripp said he would show her a good time and she had one, even if it was at his expense.

Chad, Kayla, and Stephanie return to the wine cellar but find Steve is gone. Stephanie wonders if Bo took Steve somewhere else while Kayla suggests Hope could have got through to Bo and he let Steve go. Chad finds the hole in the wall and thinks Steve escaped. Kayla admits that sounds right. Stephanie wonders where Steve went.

Steve questions Shawn about Harris knowing Bo was alive and not saying anything, calling him a son of a bitch. Shawn explains that Harris didn’t want to lose Hope but his conscience got the better of him, so he sent Hope to the villa. Shawn adds that once Harris relayed the story to him, he raced over and didn’t know what to expect, then he gets there to see his dad pointing a gun at his mom. Shawn says all he could think was how Harris said Megan had turned Bo and that Bo had probably killed Kate, so there was no way he was going to let that happen to Hope too. Steve understands as it looked the same way to him. Shawn complains that they were both wrong as Hope had gotten through to Bo and he was the same man that they remember. Shawn cries that this means he shot his dad for no reason. Shawn worries about if Bo dies as Steve hugs him.

Hope pleads with the doctor to do something more but he says they’ve tried everything and he’s afraid it’s too late. Hope cries that she’s already lost Bo once and can’t do it again. Hope continues pleading with Bo to wake up. The doctor says he understands it’s difficult. Hope says they were apart for so long and she just got him back but they didn’t get any time together, so this can’t be how it ends. The doctor repeats that he’s very sorry but there’s nothing they can do as Bo is dead. Hope then faints and dreams of reuniting Bo without the part where Bo was shot.

Johnny explains to Leo that Wendy was obviously upset, but he hopes to smooth things over by explaining to her that he was high on biscuits. Leo questions these biscuits that everyone keeps talking about and if they are some new designer drug that he’s missing out on. Chanel clarifies that he’s talking about her breakfast biscuits. Leo questions her being the hookup. Chanel blames Sloan for half the town being on a hallucinogenic and suggests Leo put that in his column. Leo responds that he can’t because Sloan is threatening to sue him for libel, unless she has concrete proof. Chanel admits she doesn’t, so Leo says he will run his original story about Johnny and Chanel’s reunion. Chanel argues that they aren’t even together. Johnny adds that they only did this because of the drugs. Leo wonders if it’s possible that the drugs brought their true feelings to the surface as he then walks away.

Wendy brings Tripp frozen peas to put on his bruised ribs. Tripp says it’s fine but Wendy insists on helping with the swelling. They joke with each other and end up kissing.

Shawn tells Steve that he’s sorry. Steve hates to leave him like this but he needs to get to the lab to make sure Kayla is alright. Shawn tells him he should go and he’ll call if anything changes. Steve goes to give Shawn his phone back right when Stephanie calls. Steve answers and informs Stephanie that they are at a local hospital. Stephanie asks if they are alright. Steve responds that they are fine but it’s her uncle Bo.

Hope’s dream of reuniting with Bo continues where they agreed to never be apart again.

Chanel tells Johnny that Leo just lives for the drama and she already knows that Wendy is the one that Johnny wants to be with. Johnny says the question is if Wendy wants to be with him and worries that she probably hates him now. Chanel offers to help by trying to call Wendy. Johnny points out that Li already tried, so he doesn’t think Wendy will listen to her. Chanel decides she will call Tripp since they are friends and then she can explain to him what really happened.

Tripp and Wendy kiss until Tripp’s phone rings. Tripp worries that it could be about Kayla but sees that it’s Chanel. Wendy questions why she would be calling. Tripp doesn’t know but decides he should hear her out. Tripp answers and tells Chanel that he hears congratulations are in order. Chanel tells him that he has to let her explain. Chanel declares that what Wendy saw wasn’t real. Tripp asks if Wendy was hallucinating. Chanel responds that she wasn’t, but they were. Tripp questions what she’s talking about. Chanel explains that she and Johnny were not in their right minds and high on biscuits. Tripp is confused. Chanel knows it sounds crazy but she’s telling the truth that they accidentally ingested a powerful hallucinogenic along with a lot of other people. Chanel calls it a long story and declares that they are not engaged and that Johnny wants to be with Wendy.

Kayla, Stephanie, and Chad join Steve and Shawn at the hospital. Steve hugs Kayla and Stephanie, telling them how good it is to see them. Stephanie says she took Kayla to get checked out but she insisted on coming here. Kayla asks about Bo being shot. Steve confirms that Hope is in with him now. Chad questions what happened and who shot him. Shawn admits it was him and that he made a terrible mistake.

Hope continues dreaming of a romantic reunion with Bo. Hope then wakes up in the hospital with a woman named Angela from the trauma unit at her side. Hope looks over and sees Bo’s hospital bed is now empty, so she asks if they already took him. Angela reveals they took Bo in to surgery. Hope is thrilled and hugs her. Angela reveals that after Hope passed out, Bo’s heart began beating again and she’s never seen anything like it, calling it a miracle. Hope gives thanks to God. Angela clarifies that Bo is not out of the woods yet, but it’s clear that he is not giving up and she suspects that Hope may be the reason. Hope hugs her and thanks her.

Johnny tells Wendy on the phone that he was drugged and lost in his memories of his wedding to Chanel, but now that he’s sober, he swears that Wendy is the only woman he wants. Wendy says it sounds so crazy that it must be true. Johnny asks if she believes him. Wendy confirms that she does. Johnny says that makes him happy so now things can just go back to the way they were.

Stephanie brings Kayla some water and mentions that Chad went to the hotel to get some clothes for Kayla. Shawn questions there being no word on Bo. Kayla is sure tehy are doing their best. Shawn decides he’s going to get answers but Hope arrives and hugs him. Shawn asks about Bo. Hope admits she almost lost him again, but he’s in surgery. Hope hugs Kayla, thankful that she’s alright. Kayla asks about Hope getting through to Bo. Hope talks about how stubborn he is and says she just kept talking to him until she got through. Shawn remarks that Hope and Bo would be together now if it wasn’t for him.

Chad runs in to Harris at the hotel and asks how it went with Thomas Banks. Harris confirms he’s now in ISA custody and asks if they found Steve. Chad confirms they did and that everyone is at the hospital. Harris asks why the hospital and what happened.

Kayla assures Shawn that it was an accident as he had a split second to make a decision and did what he thought was best. Steve encourages focusing their energy on praying for Bo. The doctor enters and announces that Bo made it through surgery and his vitals have stabilized, but his injury caused a lot of damage to his system so there is a new complication. Hope asks what it is. The doctor then reveals that Bo has fallen in to a coma.
