Billy talks to Sally about Jill wanting him to go to London with her so they can work out their issues and try and rebuild their mother-son relationship. Sally tells Billy to go to London with Jill because she and the baby will be fine.

Traci calls Billy and tells him Jack is awake and Ashley has arrived so Billy goes to the hospital. Kyle tells the doctor at the hospital that Patty injected Diane with something and gives the doctor the syringe. The doctor returns later and tells Kyle and Traci that Diane was injected with a massive dose of digitalis but the doctor says that they gave her the antidote in time and she will be fine.

Jack tells Kyle to call Christine so he can make a statement to make sure that everyone knows Diane didn’t stab him.

Patty is arrested for injecting Diane with digitalis and taken to the police station.

Nick isn’t happy that Victor has decided to let Victoria be the CEO of Newman Enterprises on her own until Nick has his addiction under control . Victor tells Adam he intends to get Spectra Charles back and give it to him and Chelsea so the company can be Newman Media again. Adam doesn’t want to go after Sally because she is pregnant. Victor reminds Adam that Billy owns the company so they will get it back from him. Adam, Nick, and Victoria are not happy that Victor gave what is left of Arabesque to Phyllis.

Nikki tries her best to adjust to being blind since she still has bandages on her eyes.

Diane tells Jack that she forgives him and never stopped loving him. Jack tells Diane that he loves her too and they promise each other that they will work hard to rebuild their marriage.

Holden tells Claire that he accepted a job offer from Cane to work at Chancellor Industries.

Jill asks Billy to go to London with her so they can work out this rift between them before its too late since she doesn’t know how much time she has left.

Jack’s guard returns and unwittingly saves Jack from Patty injecting something into Jack’s IV that will kill him. Diane notices Patty coming out of Jack’s room and she, Kyle, and the guard chase Patty down at least ten flights of stairs. Kyle calls detective Burrow and tells him that he, Diane, and the guard are chasing after Patty and he should come to the hospital quick because he is worried Patty will kill Diane. Diane catches up to Patty and puts her hands around Patty’s throat and is strangling her when Kyle finds Diane and Patty. Patty injects Diane with what she intended to use on Jack.

Kyle tells the police that they should arrest Patty because she just injected his mother with something. Jack awakens while Tracy is at his bedside. It takes a few minutes to remember that Patty stabbed him. Traci tells Jack Patty and Dr. Markham told the police that Diane stabbed him.

Diane almost falls to the floor unconscious but Kyle picks up his unconscious mother and carries her to the emergency room.

Micheal talks to Christine about Diane’s case and Christine tells him she had no choice but to press charges against Diane because all the evidence points to her. Christine tells Michael off the record that he hopes he can prove Patty did this to Jack.

Patty sneaks into Jack’s room and is about to inject something to his IV because she has to kill him because she doesn’t want him to wake up and tell the police that she stabbed him.

The rift between Billy and Jill grows wider when Jill tells Billy that she doesn’t think he should take the job offer from Cane because he won’t be able to take orders from Cane.

Nikki goes home to the Newman ranch to recover from her eye surgery and she says thank you to Victor for letting her come home.

Michael gets Diane out on bail because Dr. Markham and Patty convince detective Burrow that Diane came home and was enraged when she saw Jack with Patty so she stabbed Jack in the stomach and stabbed Patty in the arms when Patty tried to protect Jack.

Patty talks to Dr. Markham later at the park and tells him they have to kill Jack so he won’t tell who stabbed him.

Billy, Diane, Kyle,Traci are by Jack’s hospital bed waiting for him to awaken. The doctors were able to repair the damage from the stabbing but they don’t know why he won’t wake up.

The entire episode us about Jack, Diane, and Patty.

Kyle gives Doctor Markum’s dogs a lot of meat to distract them and throws a rock through a window so he can get in the house. Diane is thrilled to see him and tells him to hide when Doctor Markham comes home.

Diane gives the evil Doctor some canapés that she laced with a double dose of sleeping pills. Once the pills work and the doctor is asleep, Kyle takes Markum’s key ring and starts putting keys in the lock to see which key will open the door.

Jack tells Patty that he won’t sleep with her because Kyle is at Markum’s house and he and Diane will soon be home . Patty doesn’t believe Jack, so she calls Markum. Diane answers Markum’s phone. Jack throws Patty out of the house. Kyle and Diane call Jack once they are in Kyle’s car to tell him they are on their way home. Diane tells Kyle that she and Jack have a lot of things to work through to fix their marriage but she will move back home with Jack.

Patty comes back into the Abbott living room and injects Jack with a drug to make him sleep then she wraps him in a sheet and starts dragging him to the kitchen.

The Newman family waits anxiously to find out if Nikki will be able to see since the doctor was able to successfully remove the mass pressing on her optic nerve. Victor and Noah both tell Nick to concentrate on his meetings and helping Nikki recover from her surgery.

Stephanie tries to persuade Nate to come back to work at the hospital but he says he is happy working at Winters Inc. Matt tells Cane that wants him to spy on him to find out his next move. Cane still doesn’t trust Matt and doesn’t belive him when Matt is actually telling him the truth about Victor’s plan.

Cane persuaded Lily to offer Billy a job as head of Research and Development at Chancellor Industries. Billy is flattered by the offer. Billy and Sally tell Cane they will think about the offer and get back to him.

Jack tells Kyle that he couldn’t get to Diane because a pack of ferocious Dobermans were after him, so Jack and Kyle work on a new plan to save Diane. Kyle will go to Markum’s house to look for his mother.

Matt tells Cane that Victor wants him to spy on him and tell him what his next move is but Cane doesn’t believe him even though Matt I’d telling him the truth.

Jill once again tells Billy that she does believe in him that is why she invested in Abbott Communications but Billy thinks that the investment was a consolation prize because she didn’t let him run Chancellor industries. Billy also thinks that Cane has always been her favorite son even though he isn’t really her son. Jill tells Billy that isn’t true and he should stop competing with Cane. Jill is determined to mend this rift with Billy even if it takes all night but Billy worried that if they talk honestly it might be harmful to Jill’s heart condition.

Kyle tells Traci that Dr. Markum canceled their meeting and dared him to go to his house with the police with a search warrant. Kyle and Traci both worry that they have not heard from Jack and they decide that if Jack hasn’t called in an hour they will both go to Msrkum’s house with the police.

Patty is frustrated with Dr. Markum and tells him that he better persuade Diane to move on with her life without Jack. Diane tells Dr. Markum that she has feelings for him and he agrees to let her cook dinner for him. Diane arrives at the Abbott house, pours herself a drink, and vows that Jack and Diane will never be together again because Jack is her man and he doesn’t belong to Diane.

Cane asks Lily if he can offer Billy a job at Chancellor Industries.

Jack tells Kyle he couldn’t get near Markum’s house because a pack of ferocious Dobermans chased him away . Jack returns home and figures out Patty’s cell phone code and sends a message to Markhum that she has an emergency and needs his help. When the doctor gets the message, he rushes out of the house.

Diane is upset that her plan to give doctor Markum a lot of sleeping pills and escape will have to wait until he returns.

Jack calls Kyle and tells him to be careful while he is at Markum’s house looking for Diane.

Stephanie is able to persuade Dr. Nottingham to do Nikki’s surgery, and Victor sends the Newman jet to go get the doctor.

Diane figures out that Dr. Markum was Patty’s doctor and that he and Patry are working together to hold her hostage. Diane starts to cry and pretends that she is devastated and hurt by the fact that Jack moved Patty into the house.

Diane asks Dr . Markum to give her a sleeping pill so she can sleep and he agrees to do so and goes outside to get his messages.

Diane can’t figure why Jack let Patty move into the house .

Kyle leaves a message for Dr. Markum on his phone and tells him he followed him to his house and saw his mom through the windows and if he doesn’t tell him what is going on he will call the police . Kyle and Jack hope that the message will get Dr. Markum away from his house so Jack can go rescue Diane. Dr. Markum returns Kyle’s call later and says that they need to talk.

Nikki’s condition gets worse and Victor tells Nick about Nikki’s condition. Victor asks Stephanie to help get in touch with the best surgeon in the country, Dr. Virginia Nottingham who is a friend of Stephanie, but Victoria hopes that the doctor can get there in time to save her mother’s eyesight.

Diane tries to persuade Dr. Markum to give her sleeping pills to help her sleep. Diane also tells the doctor that she has a recuring nightmare that Diane has moved in with Jack and replaced her in his life.

Patty overhears part of a conversation between Jack and Billy. Jack tells Billy he is planning to break into Dr. Markum’s house to look for Diane. Patty calls Dr. Markum to warn him Jack may soon be on the way to his house. Dr. Markum tells Patty that they can use this problem to their advantage. Dr Markum tells Diane that Patty has moved into Jack’s house.

Matt asks Phyllis out on a date because she is beautiful, smart, and the only person who understands him.

Nick tells Noah and Sharon that fighting hia addiction is harder than he thought it would be…he has to take it minute by minute. Nick sees his drug dealer out of Crimson Lights and tells him that the owner of the coffees shop doesn’t need him ruining her business.

Victoria and Nikki remind Claire not to tell Victor about her condition. Claire however thinks Victor needs to know about Nikki ‘s condition. Claire tells Victor that Nikki has a mass pressing on her optic nerve and she could go blind.

Nikki is talking to Victoria when she gets a very bad migraine; her vision goes blurry then she can’t see anything for a few seconds then her vision returns. Nikki tells Victoria that she needs to take her to the hospital right away.

Kyle and Jack meet at the Park Café. Kyle tells Jack that he followed Markum to his private home. Kyle tells Jack that Markum’s home is located deep in the woods near Power’s Lake . Kyle tells Jack that the home is a huge compound full of security cameras. Jack tells Kyle that Patty wants him to divorce Diane and marry her. Kyle worries that Patty will kill Diane so she can marry Jack.

Kyle wants to break into Markum’s house to see if Diane is being held captive there. Jack worries that Kyle will be in danger if he breaks into the house alone.

Diane has her first session with Dr. Markum and she tells him that she doesn’t know if she will ever forgive Jack for sleeping with Patty. Dr. Markum tells Diane the fact that she can’t forgive Jack means it’s time to move on from Jack.

Victor goes to talk to Nikki about her headaches but Nikki tells him that her doctor says that her headaches are caused by stress. Victor and Nikki argue about Matt Clark. Nikki tells Victor to leave her hotel room.

Nate confirms the diagnosis the doctor gave Nikki. Nate tells Nikki he will help her find the best surgeon to do her surgery.

Victoria tells Claire about Nikki’s diagnosis and, later when Victor sees Claire and Victoria at the Athletic Club dinning room, he senses they are not telling him something about Nikki’s health and he demands they tell him the truth about Nikki’s condition.

Victoria tells Claire about Nikki’s migraines and her blurry vision. Victoria tells Claire that she is scared to face the world without Nikki in it.

Claire and Sienna think that Audra is flirting with both Holden and Noah but Audra assures Claire and Sienna that she isn’t after Holden or Noah .
