Orpheus went to see Clyde. He wasn’t happy to see him. He reminded him how his son killed his stepdaughter. Clyde warned him to stay away from him. Orpheus had an idea that he wanted to include Clyde in as long as he stopped threatening him. Ben was ready to Vincent for what he did to Ciara. He was about to leave when Marlena showed up. She wanted to ask him some questions. Abby wanted to know what happened when Chad talked to Jake. He told her how Jake felt he deserved a stake in the company. She reminded him how he was able to get into the company because of Stefano. Chad wasn’t thrilled that she sounded like she defended him. She wanted him to find a way to get along with Jake. Clyde wanted to know why Orpheus wanted to work with him. He wanted to know the catch. Ben had to hide the evidence bag so Marlena wouldn’t see it. He blamed himself for what happened to Ciara, but Marlena assured him it wasn’t his fault. Abby continued to convince Chad to get along with Jake. Marlena wanted Ben to stay with her and John. She wanted to take him to Ciara’s memorial service, but he didn’t want to go to it. Clyde agreed to work with Orpheus so they could break out of prison. There was suddenly a blackout. Ben thought he saw Ciara.

Ben realized Ciara wasn’t really with him. She tried to talk him out of killing Vincent. Marlena talked to John about what happened when she talked to Ben. She felt bad for him after losing Ciara. “Ciara” continued to tell Ben not to kill Vincent. She warned him that their love wouldn’t mean anything if he did it. John knew how much Marlena cared about Ben. They continued to talk about him. He agreed they should go see him. “Ciara” continued to warn Ben not to kill Vincent. She asked him not to kill him because their love wouldn’t mean anything. Ben wanted to hold her, but she vanished. He was about to leave, but Clyde was at his door. Rolf ended up at the DiMera mansion. Orpheus was at the townhouse and saw Marlena.

Philip was talking to someone on the phone about Xander when Brady walked in the room. Brady demanded to see Victor. Kayla told Steve that Allie let her get a sample from the baby. She said Allie thought it would prove he raped her. Steve said Tripp denied raping her. She wanted to know if he told Tripp about the test. He let her know he didn’t. She believed they should tell her. Brady told Philip that Kristen was getting sentenced unless Victor did something. Philip didn’t think Victor should do something since she tried to kill him. Kayla and Steve were talking about keeping the truth from Tripp when he overheard part of the conversation. John wondered why Marlena didn’t tell Roman about what happened to Allie. She didn’t think it was their place to tell it. They talked about how she felt bad. John thought Tripp was the one who should feel bad. Allie was confused about why Tripp would agree to the DNA test. Nicole said it was because it would clear him. She knew the test wouldn’t clear him because he’s a racist. Steve managed to cover for him and Kayla with Tripp. Tripp wanted a toothbrush. Brady wondered if Philip was tired of the games Victor wants to play with them. Brady figured he was trying to get Xander fired. He wanted to know who he was talking to on the phone.

Brady threatened to tell Xander what Philip was doing since he didn’t think Kristen deserved to be helped. Xander walked in the room and wanted to talk to Philip. John got upset while he and Marlena were talking about Allie’s rape. Marlena wanted to leave the pub just as Roman came back in the room. Roman wanted to know if John was okay. Allie thought it was weird that Tripp agreed to the test. Nicole thought he might believe he’s innocent and would be surprised. He said he told the truth, but she wouldn’t believe him. Allie wondered how long it would take to get the test results. Brady blamed Xander for why Kristen was going to jail. Xander reminded him that Kristen put a knife in Victor. Brady got tired of talking to Xander and Philip so he went up to talk to Victor. Xander didn’t like Philip talking with Sarah. Philip said she became his confidante. He warned Philip to stay away from her. Steve thought Kayla was going to tell Tripp the truth. She knew he was still angry with her so she didn’t want to make things worse. Steve wanted to know if Tripp is the father.

John went to Steve and Kayla’s place to see Tripp. He punched him because of what he did to Allie. Tripp tried to explain how he didn’t rape her. John was upset when he thought Tripp called her a liar. Steve stopped him from going after Tripp. John didn’t like how he believed Tripp. Kayla and Marlena arrived and saw them arguing. Philip talked to Sarah about Xander. He didn’t understand how Maggie could care about Xander after what he did to her. He thought he was wrong for what he did to her. Nicole asked Allie if she was avoiding Henry because of Tripp raping her. John couldn’t believe Kayla would have Tripp in her place when she was in the same position as Allie. Marlena made John leave their place. Steve assured Tripp that things would be okay. Sarah defended Xander despite what he did to her. Philip told her how he convinced Jan to press charges against him. She said he tried to stop her from doing it, but it didn’t work. Sarah wanted him to try and get along with Xander. Philip agreed because it’s best for the company. Philip agreed to eat the food with her. Marlena and John were back at the hospital. He explained why he ended up punching Tripp. He asked her if she thought he wanted to hurt Tripp because of the aneurysm. Tripp talked to Steve about John hitting him. Kayla had an easy way to solve the problem. She suggested doing a DNA test on the baby.

Allie admitted to Nicole it was hard to be around Henry. She had thoughts questioning why she didn’t have an abortion. Nicole thought it was a huge decision and knew she was scared. Allie said she didn’t have anyone to talk to about her situation. She said she didn’t remember what Tripp did to her at the time. Tripp didn’t understand the point of getting a DNA test. He realized Kayla didn’t believe him. She explained why he should take it. She had a test that he could take, but he didn’t want to take it. Xander walked in and saw Philip with Sarah. He warned Philip not to keep hitting on his girl or he would regret it. Sarah didn’t want Xander to go after Philip. She walked out of the room and Xander went after her. Philip was satisfied that his plan worked. John didn’t think Tripp should get away with raping her. Steve tried to explain why Tripp didn’t want to take the paternity test. Kayla thought Tripp might be hiding something because he was avoiding the one thing that could prove his innocence. Steve had an idea. Allie continued to talk to Nicole about why she wanted to give Henry up for adoption. Marlena reminded John how he was friends with Steve. John told her how he should see how Tripp raped Allie. Belle informed Kristen that her confession meant she could go to prison for a long time. Nicole told Lucas that Allie was raped. Tripp talked to Steve and Kayla about the accusation. He insisted he didn’t rape Allie. He thought she was confused or lying. Kayla told him how Nicole said Allie remembered her being on top of him. He let them know that he talked to Allie about it. Steve said it wasn’t a good idea for him to confront her. Kristen wondered if Melinda would cut her some slack since she changed her plea. Belle told her that she wouldn’t do that for her after what she did to her daughter. Kristen wanted a lighter sentence. Belle will try to help her. Kristen thanked Brady for not telling Belle the real reason she changed her plea. He didn’t like how Eli strong-armed her into doing it. She said she did it for Lani because she’s a good friend. Belle walked in as he said it. Belle thought he shouldn’t be threatening people after he was arrested for threatening to kill Jan. Philip thought Shawn was so willing to see him charged was because of their affair. Belle told Philip that Shawn knew better than to let personal feelings get in the way of doing his job. Philip said he might, but Shawn helped Xander let Jan get away with her scheme. Belle said Shawn didn’t care about Philip and Xander’s feud. Philip wasn’t happy with what happened. Belle told Philip to find another lawyer. He asked her to not to give up on him. She changed her mind about helping him. She told him not to threaten anyone else. She ended up leaving. He got on the phone with his partner. He asked how he was supposed to launder money with Xander around. He said they had to come up with another plan.

Kristen confessed to stabbing Victor. Brady tried to get her to retract her statement. She refused to do it. She said she didn’t want Eli and Lani’s relationship to be ruined because of her. Kristen said she wanted it to be over. She told Brady this was the best option for her. He said it wasn’t the best option. He said he wouldn’t lose her. She said she made up her mind. He said not if he had anything to say about it. She told him to keep quiet. Belle came in and wanted to know why she was changing her plea to guilty. Melinda thought Eli was meeting her only to see Lani. Lani wanted to talk to her about Kristen. Eli went to Kristen’s room to tell her how he recorded her confession. She couldn’t believe he recorded her. She said she was going to protect Lani and he tricked her. He told her about Melinda’s blackmail. She wanted to know hwy he brought the recording to her and not Melinda. Brady ran into Jack and Jennifer and they talked about what Kristen’s going through. They also talked about how great Abby was. Gwen suggested Abby have a celebration for her family. She realized she couldn’t do it so Gwen offered to help. Chad went to see Jake to offer an olive branch. Eli explained to Kristen why he had to make the confession. She wanted to know what would happen if he didn’t turn in the confession. He told her he had an idea and that was why he was there. Chad let Jake know he was entitled to his share of the company. Jake wanted to work together with Shin, but Chad thought he was out of his mind. Lani told Melinda how Kristen regretted what happened to Haley. She was glad and hoped it haunted her for the rest of her life.

Chad told Jake he could be in the executive training program. They started arguing over it. Abby and Gwen continued to talk about the party and where to have it. Trask asked Eli if he got the recording. She threatened to have Lani arrested. He couldn’t talk about it in front of Eli. Lani was surprised Melinda didn’t want to talk about Kristen. She thanked him for convincing her to do the right thing about the footage. Eli didn’t think it was a great idea for her to go to the courthouse. Jack and Jennifer talked to Gwen about being Chad and Abby’s nanny. They mentioned how Jennifer was in a coma. Jake talked to Kate about Chad’s feelings about him. She let him know how Chad walked in on Stefan with Abby and she thought he would always assume he was Stefan. Chad let Abby know how he thought Jake could be like Stefan. Meanwhile, Allie talked to Lani about Tripp being the person who raped her. Tripp and Allie continued to tell their sides of how they met each other. Lani told Allie how her rape happened outside of Salem. Allie was afraid he would get away with what he did. Melinda reminded Eli about what happened in the footage. She told him how she could prove he knew Lani didn’t do anything to arrest Kristen. Hope was devastated when Vincent said he shot Ciara. Ben yanked him out of the chair and believed he was lying. Melinda warned him what Lani could lose. She didn’t want to put Lani away. She wanted to go after Kristen. Vincent blamed Ben for why he shot Ciara. Hope didn’t want to hear another word from him. He wanted to know how he could get a confession. She didn’t care. She wanted him to find a way or his kids wouldn’t have their mother. Lani showed up at Steve’s place to see Tripp. Eli told her how Lani sees a side no one else sees. Melinda reminded him how Kristen hurts people. She said he would be doing Lani a favor if he destroyed their friendship. Hope found the gun Vincent put on the ground. She said there’s a bullet missing from the gun. She checked the forensics report to see if there was a bullet hole in the car. She saw it in the report. Ben wanted to know if Vincent was telling the truth. Steve wanted to know why Lani was at his place. She wanted to talk to Tripp at the station. Melinda informed Eli that it was up to him if he wanted Lani to go down with Kristen. She said she had a one-night stand and got pregnant. She didn’t think it was important. She said it was over, but Nicole wondered if it really was over. Melinda wanted to watch the footage. Nicole continued to talk to Allie about Tripp. Allie was sure she would get over it. Steve talked to Kayla about Tripp knowing Allie. Hope brought Vincent to the station. Ben showed up and threatened to kill him if he didn’t tell them where to find Ciara. Eli wanted Ben and Hope to leave so they didn’t jeopardize the case. Melinda wanted to talk to Eli about why she shouldn’t charge Lani with obstruction of justice. Kayla asked Steve if Tripp’s the father of Allie’s baby. Lani told Vincent how he needed to give Hope closure and how he would spend his life in prison. She said Wendy wouldn’t want him to do what he did. Hope talked to Roman about wanting Ciara back. Allie had another memory about he night she was with Tripp. She said a hand was holding her down. She said she told him no. Melinda continued to paint a picture for Eli about what Kristen and Lani did. She thought the footage would put Lani away for years. She wanted to give him one last chance to save Lani. Steve asked Tripp if he’s the father of Allie’s baby. Nicole wanted Allie to go to the police if she said no. She said he was Steve’s son. Nicole told her she said no and that was all she needed to remember. Melinda wanted undeniable proof Kristen was guilty and he would drop the case against Lani. Tripp told Steve he wasn’t the father of the baby because he never slept with Allie. Allie talked to Lani about Tripp raping her.

Kate tried to look through Jake’s things, but she got busted. She had to come up with an excuse for looking. He found the dress for her, but she noticed his suit. Eli warned Lani how Melinda was closing in on Kristen. He showed her the video footage of Lani helping Kristen leave the station. She was worried about the footage. He told her how he had to turn the footage over to Melinda. Abe was concerned with whether Melinda could be impartial with Kristen’s case. He felt bad for her because of her loss. Melinda got upset because Kristen always got away with her crimes. She wanted to put a stop to it. He thought she should recuse herself from the situation. Lani didn’t think the evidence was too bad until she watched the footage again. Abby appreciated Gwen being willing to be a nanny to her children. Chad was concerned they didn’t know much about her. She said there wasn’t much to know. He didn’t agree and wanted her to tell them about herself. She was about to tell them about herself when Kate interrupted them. Abby took Gwen to the kids. Kate asked Chad if it was a good idea to have Gwen take care of the kids. He explained why and then they talked about Jake. Jake walked in the room. Melinda had no intention of recusing herself from the case. She said she would be professional. She wanted to know why Abe would bring her back if he thought she couldn’t be professional.

Eli wanted Lani to tell Abe the truth that she helped Kristen. She didn’t want to tell Abe because he would be disappointed in her. She felt like she would be in Melinda’s line of fire unless she never saw the footage. Jake didn’t understand why Chad didn’t give him the head’s up about the Collins deal being done. Chad let him know he didn’t want to work with him. Eli warned Lani he stalled her as long as he could. She said there was other footage she could see. He wanted to know if she was asking him to delete the footage. Abe wondered if Melinda could get an ADA to take over the case. She said she would still be over the case. She said she would do her job and would be fair. He told her how Lani and Kristen were friends. She didn’t know they were friends. Lani said Eli did enough and wanted him to go to his desk. He wanted to know what he meant. She wanted to make sure his hands were clean. Jake warned Abby to watch out for Gwen. Gwen overheard Jake talking about her to Abby. Jake said she only wanted what was best for Gwen. Abby tried to defend her. Abe told Melinda how Lani and Kristen were there for each other. He wanted her to keep her personal feelings out of the case. She said she would do it. Eli couldn’t believe Lani wanted him to destroy the evidence. She couldn’t go to prison and wanted to protect the children. He wanted to do it together.

Belle arrived and saw Kristen talking to Claire. She was upset to see her with Claire. Ben ended up meeting up with Hope. He told her how Claire told him how she thought Ciara was alive. Philip didn’t understand how Shawn could have arrested him when Jan was still out there. Shawn told him what happened and warned him to keep quiet. Philip said he was trying to defend his family, but Shawn said he would do it himself. Belle threatened Jan, but she warned her not to do it. She said she had Philip arrested for assault. Belle didn’t think anyone would be stupid enough to believe her. She informed her how Shawn was the one who arrested Philip. Sarah was upset with Xander for being the reason why Jan had Philip arrested. Hope told Ben about going after Ciara. She asked him if she remembered anything to indicate if Ciara was in the car before the explosion. He told her how he never saw her body or heard her. She knew there was still hope Ciara could be alive. Kristen wanted to go on the run with Brady. He didn’t want to go on the run. She couldn’t risk losing Rachel. She wanted to go far away. He refused to let her do it. Belle couldn’t believe Jan had Philip arrested. Jan wanted to feel safe and wondered if she knew a good lawyer. Belle didn’t want to talk to Jan anymore. Xander stood up to Sarah when she lectured him about Philip. Philip wondered if Shawn had a personal reason for arresting him. He thought it was because he found him with Belle. Belle showed up at the station and agreed to be in Salem.

Sarah put Xander on notice and warned him it would be over if he went back to her old ways. Brady reminded Kristen if she left, she could never come back. She would be a fugitive. She said it would be better than being a fugitive. She wanted to know if he was worried about Belle. He was worried about what it would do to them. Belle told Shawn how she ran into Jan and she told her about it. Belle wanted him to talk to Claire while she helped Philip. Shawn wanted Claire to stay away from Jan. Brady continued to convince Kristen not to go on the run. Xander wanted to do whatever he could to make her happy. Shawn didn’t understand why Claire would believe what she said. She said Jan threatened her. Philip told Belle he thought Shawn still had something against him and it explained his arrest. Claire didn’t think it was right for Shawn to blame Jan for the attack. He told her how she was a better person than Jan. Hope got a lead on Vincent. She said she knew where to find him. Brady wanted to go on the run with Kristen if she decided to go. Xander said he would make what he did right. Belle told Philip how they needed to stick together because Jan’s targeting them. She said Jan was trying to get to her through Claire. Hope and Ben found Vincent and they demanded he tell them where to find Ciara. Kristen decided not to go on the run. Shawn was ready to go out to dinner with Belle, but she had to help Philip. Vincent refused to answer any questions without an attorney. She put the handcuffs on him.

Philip and Maggie talked about his issues running Titan with Xander. He doesn’t think it’s a good idea for Xander to run the company, but she didn’t agree. She thought Xander was doing a good job. Victor talked to Shawn about Ciara. Shawn told him how Ciara might not be dead after all. He said Hope was off looking for her. Allie told Nicole about running into Tripp. Nicole thought he was Steve’s son. She didn’t think it was possible for him to be Steve’s son. Nicole looked him up so Allie saw his picture. She realized he was Steve’s son. Steve and Tripp had a similar conversation about Allie. Steve wondered if he was the father of her baby. Jan and Xander talked on the phone about her pressing charges against Philip. She thought Philip would rush to get Belle as his attorney. Claire talked to Steve and Tripp about a memorial for Ciara. Tripp wondered if they needed one since Ciara might be alive. Steve was shocked. Jan went to the station and told Shawn she was sorry for his loss. He didn’t believe her. She told him how she had a way for him to get back at Philip. Philip hoped Maggie wasn’t Team Xander. She explained how Xander was there for her when she was at her lowest.

Steve was surprised to know Ciara’s actually alive. Claire talked about how the memorial for Ciara would go. Philip showed Victor his proposal and wanted his blessing to go through with investing in it. Victor said he needed Xander’s approval. Jan continued to talk to Shawn about Philip threatening her. He thought she was trying to score brownie points with him. She reminded him how he’s a cop and she’s a citizen so he had to do his job. Allie talked to Nicole about what happened when she met Tripp. Xander thought Philip’s investment had some risks. Philip got upset so everyone expected him to listen to Xander. Xander suddenly agreed to talk about it, but he wanted to focus on dinner. Shawn showed up to see Philip about a police matter. Allie continued to talk to Nicole about how she met Tripp. Jan saw Claire talking to Tripp. Jan wanted to talk to her. She wanted to talk to Claire about her father. Philip wanted to know what Shawn wanted from him. He told him how he threatened Jan. Philip said he told him in confidence, but he couldn’t wait to go cop on him. Shawn told him how Jan reported it so he had to show up there. Philip admitted to what he did so Shawn had to arrest him. Sarah looked at Xander, but he acted clueless. Shawn read Philip his rights. Philip said he was protecting his family.

Tripp and Allie ran into each other in the park. He was surprised to see her, but she was upset to see him. She slapped him. Lani was upset Abe brought Melinda back for Kristen’s trial. She told him that she didn’t care about the stabbing. She only cared about what happened to Haley. He wanted to know what she wanted to do. She wanted him to fire her. Brady tried to talk Melinda out of going after Kristen, but she didn’t want to hear it. She was going to get the proof she needed to nail her. Melinda walked away and talked to Eli. Tripp didn’t understand why Allie hit him. She didn’t believe he didn’t know. She thought he was a jerk and was about to walk away, but he stopped her. Abe didn’t think he could fire Melinda because Lani didn’t like it. She explained why he could do it. Abe felt Kristen should be convicted if she’s guilty. Melinda asked Eli questions about Kristen’s case and noticed holes in it. Kate and Nicole talked about Allie’s custody situation. Nicole told Kate how Allie reacted when she asked about the father. Kate remembered she got upset when she asked about the father. Tripp didn’t understand Allie’s behavior. He said he thought about her, but she said she didn’t think about him because she was busy.

She was convinced someone tipped her off. Allie went back to the apartment and told Nicole about running into Henry’s father. Eli told Melinda that he didn’t know who tipped Kristen off. She thought it was someone on the inside. He lied to her and told her Kristen must have overheard Rafe talking about it. Lani went to the station to talk to Eli. He told her about the info Melinda wanted to nail Kristen. He warned her that they knew where the investigation would lead. Kate met with Abe and saw how he was babysitting Rachel.

Gwen talked to Rolf about Abby not falling for the drug she gave her. He was surprised that she was so resilient. Ben thought Ciara was in his room only for it to turn out to be Claire. She returned Ciara’s suitcase. Sami told Nicole that she had to get back home, but nothing changed between them. She still hated her, but she wanted Allie to fall in love with her son. Lucas and Allie talked to Abby and Chad about being around her baby. Gwen and Rolf talked about how they ended up working together to get Abby. She asked him for another dose to drug Abby, but he told her that he couldn’t do it. Sami reminded Nicole that she still had custody of the baby so she better not try anything. Allie and Lucas went to Eric’s place. Sami gave Allie the baby and said it was time to name him. Ben looked at Ciara’s things and told Claire about the memories he had. He apologized to Claire for telling Ciara not to let her be the maid of honor. He thought Ciara would still be there if he hadn’t wasted time accusing Claire of coming after them. Allie was surprised Sami didn’t name him. She didn’t think it was her place. Allie wanted Nicole to name him, but Sami refused to let her do it. Nicole agreed with Sami and thought she should name him. She decided to name him Henry Lucas Horton. Abby wanted to go back to work, but Chad wasn’t so sure it was a good idea. Rolf wanted to know what Gwen knew about Abby. She told him what she knew. Rolf suggested she go after Chad. She liked the idea and she wanted to bring Abby down. Rolf wanted to know why Gwen hated her so much. She said she had a very good reason and he would find out when everyone else found out. Chad wanted to support Abby and was okay with her going back to work. They were kissing when Gwen showed up. Sami expressed how much she would be there for Allie. She talked about their unbreakable bond. Claire told Ben he wasn’t responsible for what happened to Ciara. She told him that Hope went after Vincent. She also told him that Ciara might not have been in the car. Nicole wondered if Allie named the baby after the father. She got really upset and didn’t want to talk about him. Steve checked on John at the hospital. He told John that Marlena was with Ben. John didn’t understand why Marlena would be him after he tried ti kill Will. Steve explained how compassionate she is. John thought he was after her. John reminded him how he wanted Marlena in the past. Steve told him how Rolf messed with his mind. John said sorry and believed something was wrong with him. Steve tried to make him feel better. Ben had a nightmare about the explosion and called out Ciara’s name. Marlena tried to comfort him. He felt like he failed Ciara when she needed him. He said she was the best thing that happened to him. He didn’t know how he could live without her. She said it will be hard, but he could get through it. He cried and thanked her for helping him. He asked her about John. She let him think he was fine.

Abby saw Chad in a picture with a woman. The woman in the picture was the previous Abby. Chad let her know he was in the picture with her. She looked at it again and saw her face in the picture. He asked her if she was hallucinating again. She thought it was possible, but assured him she was okay. She said her medications make the hallucinations manageable. He asked her if she was mad about him kissing Gwen. He assured her that he loved her. Gwen thought about drugging Abby. She said Abby was going to have a bad day. Jack and Jennifer had a bad day. She made comments about Abby until they left. Chad and Abby walked in and she offered them a cup of coffee. Chad told her Abby couldn’t have it because of her medication. Chad was going to drink it, but she stopped him from drinking it.

Brady told Kristen he was going to confess to trying to kill Victor. Kristen was upset that he wanted to do that without talking to her. He said he wanted her to be there for Rachel. She wanted him to be there for her too. Sami almost had Allie convinced that she was taking the baby to Marlena’s place, but Kate told her what she really wanted to do. Allie went off on her. Allie mentioned Eric leaving town so Sami wanted to go after him. She was going to take the baby, but Allie told her she couldn’t. Belle arrived and told Brady that the DA retired and wasn’t the one working on Kristen’s case. Melinda walked in the room and said she was the one working on it. Belle said she refused to accept the plea or Brady’s confession. Sami arrived at Eric’s place. She couldn’t believe he was going to leave without saying goodbye to her. He said it and slammed the door in her face. She was determined to get in the apartment. They talked about the custody case. He advised her to work things out with Allie or she would lose her daughter. Kate tried to get Allie to look at the baby, but she didn’t want to do it. Kate asked why she wanted to run away so Allie explained how she didn’t want to screw up his life.

Eric and Nicole thought she would. Sami wanted to know how long Eric would be gone. He told her and they said they loved each other. Brady thought what was going on with Melinda was unfair. Belle warned him that the justice system was unfair. Kristen said she wanted a child her entire life. She accepted that she had to say goodbye for a long time. Allie told Sami that Justin was getting a restraining order against her to keep her from taking the baby to Italy. Sami told her about the arrangement. She would let Nicole have custody of the baby if Allie lived with her.

Lani said he put his job before her. Kristen said she put her before him. Kristen suggested that she listen to him. Brady asked Victor if he could back up his story that he stabbed him and not Kristen. Victor didn’t think the police would believe the story. Victor didn’t want Kristen to be free. Brady wasn’t interested in what Victor wanted. Brady said he was going to confess and get a deal. Victor agreed to talk to the police. Marlena and Belle talked about what John did to Sami. Belle thought it was funny, but Marlena didn’t. Marlena said John was losing control. Eric showed up while they were talking. Roman showed up too. Eric told everyone he was leaving Salem. Marlena talked to Sarah about John’s behavior. She wasn’t sure how long it was going to last. Shawn wasn’t happy when Shawn saw Belle with Philip. He wanted to know what was going on with them. Belle told him about Jan showing up at Hope’s house. Xander talked to Jan about getting Philip out o the picture. She thought he wanted her to go to the police. She realized that was why he was concerned about her safety. He thought Victor wouldn’t like it. He offered his phone number, but Sarah stopped him. Allie overheard Sami talking about taking the baby. They got into an argument about it. Nicole tried to talk Eric into going to Africa to help the people. Eric didn’t want to go, but she continued to convince him to go. Claire talked to Marlena about meeting Jan. Shawn hoped that Claire wouldn’t have anything to do with Jan again. Belle didn’t want to talk to Shawn with Philip around. Philip offered to help since he doesn’t have to follow the law. He told them that he threatened her. Sarah explained who Jan was to Xander. Nicole wanted to do the right thing by telling Eric to go to Africa. She wanted him to do it for her. Allie was going to take her baby to Eric and Nicole’s place. Nicole continued to convince Eric to go to Africa. She wanted him to help people. Marlena reminded Claire about the terrible things Jan’s done. Claire said that she did terrible things too. Claire defended Jan to her. Belle talked to Shawn about being worried about Claire bonding with Jan. Shawn couldn’t believe Claire defended Jan. Belle was scared for Claire. Marlena wanted Claire to stay away from Jan. Sami suggested that Allie go back to Rome with her. She would help her raise her baby. Allie thought she wanted that all along. Shawn assured Belle that he wouldn’t let anything happen to Claire. Belle was afraid something did. Jan ran into Claire and apologized for not telling her who she was in the first place. Sami was okay with it if Allie hated her, but she insisted she see her baby. Shawn thought he and Belle should let Philip kill Jan. Jan advised Claire not to talk to her in public. She would understand if she didn’t do it. Allie told Sami she thought about the list of things she got away with until now. She was going to the judge the next day.

Sami went to see John. She bought him a cactus. He threw it against the wall. He reminded her that she said he was nobody. He called her out for her selfish behavior. He asked her if she knew how sick of her he was. He called her a nasty b*tch. She told him that she hoped her have a blood clot in his cold, dark heart. Marlena came in and told Sami to leave. Marlena told John that she didn’t believe Sami’s side of the story. Marlena didn’t believe that he would resort to calling her names. He admitted it. He wasn’t sure if it had to do with his condition. He said he said things to Sami that he would have never said to anyone. He wanted to know what was wrong with him. She said it was nothing to worry about. Belle was upset to find Jan with Claire. Claire wanted to know why Belle was mean to her friend. Belle said she wasn’t her friend. She said it was Jan Spears. Jan said she stopped by to offer her condolences. Belle knocked the flowers out of Jan’s hand. Belle didn’t believe Jan changed. Jan said people with mental illness could change.

Belle threatened to get a restraining order and pushed Jan out of the house. Claire asked if she thought Jan reached out to her because they were both crazy. Claire said she was doing well because Ciara gave her another chance. Lucas had trouble entertaining Allie’s baby. Nicole came in and offered to help him. She was able to control the baby. Sami came in and was furious that Nicole was holding the baby. Nicole ripped into Sami for taking the baby from Eric. When Nicole left, Sami told Lucas she was taking the baby and leaving town. While she was on the phone making the arrangements, Allie walked in and told Sami that she wasn’t taking her baby. Philip ran into Jan. He warned her to stay away from Belle. Xander was eavesdropping on them. Philip threatened to take care of Jan permanently if she didn’t stay away from Belle or her family. When he left, Xander introduced himself to Jan. Philip went to see Belle. He let her know he was going to protect her and Claire from Jan. They hugged each other.

Brady was surprised that Kristen was arrested for stabbing Victor. He asked Belle to represent Kristen. Belle didn’t want to represent her. He asked her to do it for him. She changed her mind. She warned him that he could be arrested for aiding and abetting depending on what Kristen told the police. Brady went to the police station. He and Kristen planned on how they were going to fix her situation. He told her that Belle was thinking about representing her. Kristen said she forgot people hated her. She said no one would side with her. Abe comforted Hope. He wanted her to take a break, but she wanted to make Vincent pay for what he did to Ciara. Victor told Maggie that he wanted to get revenge. He blamed Ben for what happened. She saw Victor with a gun. He wanted to go to the hospital and kill Ben. She said he couldn’t go in the hospital with a gun. He said she was right. He said he would hire someone. Maggie tried to talk Victor out of killing Ben. He was upset that he didn’t kill him when he had the chance. He said he failed Ciara. Maggie said he should be there for the people Ciara left behind. She said they would all be hurt. Brady ended up showing up. He asked Victor to help Kristen.

Lani yelled at Eli for putting his job before their marriage. She wanted to know how she could trust him again. Eli tried to defend what he did, but she wasn’t hearing what he said. She ended up walking away from him. Claire offered to clean up Hope’s place. Jan showed up when Shawn left. Jan said she was a friend. Jan offered to help Claire clean up. Jan suggested that they get to know each other. Claire told Jan that she loved Ciara. Claire said she almost killed her. They bonded over the things they have done. Jan said therapy helped her. While they were bonding, Belle came in and told her to get away from her daughter. Eli got a tip that Vincent was seen on a bus. Shawn came in with a report on the explosion. He saw that the explosion was caused by a bomb that was triggered remotely. He was scared to ask about Ciara. Hope looked at the report. She said it didn’t make sense. She said they didn’t find any remains. Hope thought Ciara wasn’t in the car. She said Ciara was still alive. Hope wondered where she was.

Hope went to Eve and told her what happened to Ciara. She let her know that she didn’t tell Vincent to go plant a bomb in the car. Hope talked to her about Vincent’s agenda for going after Ben. Lani hoped Eli would look the other way and not go after Kristen. Eli arrested Kristen and she told him anything she could think of to get out of being arrested. John woke up, but he couldn’t remember Brady and Marlena. Kristen told Eli that Lani wouldn’t forgive him if he arrested her. She reminded him that he would be married to Gabi if she didn’t convince Lani to go after him. She wanted him to act as if he never saw her. Lani showed up at Kristen’s door. Hope told Eve that the firefighters only found Ciara’s engagement and wedding rings.

Lani took Rachel to Kristen’s place and saw Eli there. Kristen thought she got through to him, but he ended up arresting her. Marlena filled John in on some details of their lives together. John got his memory back and Brady and Marlena were relieved. Eli took Kristen to the station. Lani was upset when she saw Eli. Brady wanted to give John and Marlena some time alone so he wanted to call Kristen at the Salem Inn. Marlena was surprised that Kristen was in Salem. Lani was upset that Eli lied to her and arrested Kristen. He explained why he decided to arrest Kristen. She thought he used a personal conversation and used it to look like a hero. Kristen called Brady. He told her how John was awake. She was glad for him, but she said she was arrested.

Lani tried to defend Kristen, but he warned her how she may make a mistake. Sami went to the hospital to visit John and Marlena confronted her about helping Jan get out of Shady Pines. Sami tried to explain herself to her, but she wasn’t any of it. Eric and Nicole found out that the judge made her decision. Sami and Marlena continued to argue about Jan until she had to go to court. Lani defended Kristen’s actions to Eli, but he wasn’t going to cave. He thought Kristen should be caught. Kristen talked to Brady about what happened to Ciara. He wanted to go see Victor and she was upset about that. She said that she and Rachel would be gone when he got back.

Brady and Kristen argued over him going to see Victor. He tried to defend Victor and reminded her how she helped Stefano despite what he did to her family. She told him to go if it’s that important to him. He decided not to go after all. Eric and Nicole talked about Ciara’s death when Sami arrived. She was shocked by it. She thought Ben was responsible for it so Eric wanted to explain things to her. She didn’t want to hear it from him. Judge Duncan arrived in the courtroom. Lani appreciated what Eli did for Kristen. He didn’t seem to want to talk to her anymore so he left. Kristen was glad Brady decided not to go see Victor. He realized he should be there for John. The judge talked to Sami, Eric and Nicole before she rendered her verdict. The judge lifted the restraining order and allowed Eric and Nicole to see the baby. Kristen opened her door and saw Eli standing there. Brady was at the hospital with Marlena and they wondered what would happen when John woke up. John opened his eyes and moved his hands. The judge gave custody to Sami.

Chad lied to Abby about Jake thought there was something going on between him and Gwen. Chad admitted that Jake saw Gwen kissing him. Abby was furious. He said he went along with Gwen’s scheme. Abby said he let Gwen kiss him. He said it was the only way to get rid of her. Abby said she reminded her of Gabi. He said Gwen got it bad when she walked in on Gabi in bed with Jake. He said he wanted to focus on them. Jake went to Gwen’s room. She was holding the drug she used on Abby. He wanted to know why she was packing. She said she wasn’t. She said she was leaving their room and was going to Gabi’s room. She said she didn’t want to share a bed with him. She said she accepted that they were over and didn’t want a man in her life. She said she was on a mission. He wanted to know what it was. He thought she was going after Chad. She said she was glad Gabi opened her legs to Jake because it made her see who he really was.

Chad went to Jake’s room. Chad told him to stay out of the deal at DiMera. Chad ripped into him for telling Abby about him and Gwen. Chad warned him that he was a fighter. Chad told him not to push him. They ended up arguing. Chad told him to find another place to live. Gwen went downstairs and saw Abby. Gwen held on to the drug she gave Abby. Gwen apologized to Abby for what she saw. Abby asked her if she was talking about kissing her husband. Abby said she didn’t see it, but she heard about it. Gwen apologized. Gwen said she wasn’t trying to come on to Chad. She said she wanted to make Jake jealous. Abby said that didn’t work well. Gwen said she underestimated Gabi. Abby said she could relate. Gwen wanted to know if they could be friends. They made up. Gwen gave her white wine and put the drug in it. Abby ended up not drinking the wine when Chad came back and wanted to go upstairs with Abby. Belle was on the phone with Marlena. Belle talked to her about John and Shawn’s lead on Ciara. Philip snuck up on her. Belle attacked him because she didn’t know who he was. He apologized to her. She told him she thought he was Jan. He told her he wasn’t flattered. He said he thought she was locked up. She said Sami got her out. They continued to talk about Jan and Ciara. Vincent’s car blew up at the airfield. Ben called out to Ciara. He tried to go to the car, but he passed out. Hope screamed out Ciara’s name. The firefighters showed up to put out the fire. Ben was taken to the hospital. Hope went to see Ben. She told him the firefighters did everything they could.
