Days of Our Lives Update

Johnny comes home to the DiMera Mansion as Gabi stumbles down the stairs with a bottle of champagne in her hand. Gabi remarks that maybe she had too much to drink. Johnny notices the champagne and asks if she’s celebrating. Gabi shows him her ring and announces that she and Stefan are engaged again. Johnny asks if this means that Li is officially in the past. Gabi confirms that she has the divorce papers in hand, so it’s finally over.

Sloan and Eric walk through the town square. Sloan tells Eric that she gets that if she keeps any more secrets from him, they are done. Sloan then gets a phone call from Li, who says he needs to know if Gabi signed the divorce papers yet. Sloan says they just sent them over this afternoon and she knows he’s anxious but this isn’t a good time yet.

Rafe calls from the hospital that he wants more units out on the west side and for the APB on Colin Bedford to be expanded to state wide as he wants him found now. Kayla comes over and asks if she heard correctly that Abe is in surgery with a head injury. Rafe confirms that he is and when he got here, he had some sort of seizure. Kayla asks what happened. Rafe reveals that he found him on the floor at the bakery and that whoever did it took Paulina while now they can’t find Paulina or Chanel anywhere.

Jada screams for Colin to drop the gun. Chanel drops to the ground with Paulina as Talia then rushes Colin and begins fighting with Colin over the gun. Jada screams for Talia to take cover and let her do this. Jada and Chanel scream while Talia and Colin continue to struggle. Talia and Colin then both end up falling over the ledge and off the roof of the building!

Sloan asks Li why it matters when he knows she’s going to sign them. Colin then falls from the rooftop, bleeding, and lands in the town square. Sloan rushes to his side to check on him.

Jada, Chanel, and Paulina look over the edge of the roof and scream for Talia. Jada says she will call for help as she rushes down to get to Talia. Paulina worries about getting to Abe.

Kayla finishes a call and informs Rafe that the surgery is ongoing so they won’t have a status report for awhile. Rafe swears to kill Colin if Abe doesn’t pull through. Rafe argues that Sloan could have stopped all of this. Rafe gets a call from Jada and asks if she got him and questions being told about the Salem Inn.

Sloan tells Colin not to move as he will make it worse and asks what happened. Colin tells Sloan that “she did this” which Sloan questions. Jada comes rushing out of the Salem Inn looking for Talia. Eric helps her move the rubble to find Talia underneath.

Paulina informs Chanel that Colin attacked Abe at the bakery and wouldn’t let her call for an ambulance. Chanel encourages that it will be okay and says she’s calling the police but she gets a call first from Rafe. Rafe tells Chanel that he’s been calling for an hour and is trying to find her mother. Chanel informs him that Paulina is with her and cries that it was awful. Rafe asks what happened and if she is alright. Chanel says they are on the roof of the Salem Inn but worries about Abe being hurt. Rafe confirms that Abe is in surgery at the hospital and says he’ll send a unit for them. Chanel tells Rafe that there is more and informs him that Colin got them all to the roof and he was going to push her off but Talia and Colin both went over the edge of the roof. Chanel worries for Jada.

Jada questions why Talia did that as she cries. Eric encourages that help is coming. Sloan tells Colin not to worry and to stay strong as help is coming.

Johnny asks Gabi if Wendy was in the office today. Gabi says she wasn’t and asks what the problem is. Johnny says if she wasn’t there, that means she’s still in Seattle with Tripp.

Wendy comes home to the apartment where Li asks what happened to her. Wendy asks what didn’t happen since she was supposed to be back yesterday and was on her flight until a drunk man started fighting with the flight attendant so they got diverted to South Dakota to get him off the plane and by the time they did that, the crew had logged too many hours so they were stuck there for the night. Li jokes with her. Wendy tells him not to joke because today was almost just as bad as they made an unexpected stop in Boise. Li says she should’ve called. Wendy asks why since he can’t send the DiMera jet since he doesn’t work there anymore. Wendy complains of her bad mood. Li says he’s afraid that he’s not the person to cheer her up tonight. Wendy asks what’s wrong. Li responds that his mood matches her’s since he signed the divorce papers today. Wendy tells him that she’s so sorry. Li admits he knew it was coming and he keeps telling himself that it will provide closure. Li asks if Wendy is going to let Johnny know that she’s back. Wendy responds that she’s not sure. Li asks if Johnny didn’t convince her that he only proposed to Chanel because of the drugged biscuits. Wendy assures that he did convince her, so Li questions what the hesitation is. Wendy responds that she may be interested in someone else.

Kayla finishes call with an EMT, saying to bring in the two patients to the trauma unit. Rafe guesses it’s Colin and Talia. Kayla doesn’t know but says they are in pretty bad shape so she’s going there now. Chanel brings Paulina in a wheelchair over to them. Paulina asks Rafe where Abe is and says she has to see him. Rafe responds that he’s still in surgery. Rafe asks if they are okay as he’s been looking everywhere for them. Chanel says they are fine but Paulina says they are not. Paulina asks about Abe’s surgery and what that animal did to him. Chanel encourages her to stay calm while Rafe says he will tell her everything he knows. Rafe explains that Abe was brought in for head trauma. Paulina worries about how long Abe was laying on the floor since Colin wouldn’t let her call an ambulance. Rafe assures that everyone loves Abe and no one will let anything happen to him. Sloan and Eric arrive at the hospital. Paulina screams not her while Chanel asks Rafe to get Sloan out of here. Sloan tells Rafe that she needs to see his brother. Rafe informs her that he’s in the trauma center. Rafe tells Sloan to go and stay the hell away from Paulina and Chanel. After Sloan hurries to the trauma center, Eric tells Rafe that he didn’t have to talk to her like that. Rafe tells Eric to look at Paulina and Chanel as he declares that Sloan and Colin are responsible for that. Eric starts to argue but decides it doesn’t matter. Eric goes over to Paulina and apologizes. Paulina questions Eric thinking he can just say he’s sorry after what Sloan and Colin did to Abe. Eric doesn’t understand and asks what happened to Abe. Chanel informs him that Colin bashed Abe’s head in with a rolling pin at the bakery. Eric asks where Abe is. Chanel says he’s in surgery and they don’t know if he’s going to make it or if Talia is either. Eric informs them that Talia was brought here. Chanel is surprised that Talia is alive while Paulina declares that she hopes Colin is dead.

Sloan visits Colin in the trauma center, where the doctor informs her that it’s a miracle that Colin is still alive. Sloan asks how he is. The doctor says there’s no obvious breaks but he’s ordered x-rays and painkillers. He leaves the room to allow Sloan to talk to Colin as he wakes up and asks what happened. Colin tells Sloan that he did what he had to do. Sloan questions him taking Chanel and Paulina captive when he was supposed to go away as he promised her that he would leave them alone. Colin admits that he lied and says he was so close to making them pay. Colin declares that he would’ve if it wasn’t for Talia.

Jada sits with Talia in her hospital room. Jada informs her that the awning saved her life and cries about seeing her go over the edge of the roof. Kayla enters the room. Jada hugs her and says she’s so glad that she will be treating her sister. Jada introduces Talia to Kayla as a good friend of their father. Kayla asks Talia how she’s feeling. Talia admits she’s scared and angry at herself. Kayla understands she’s been through a lot. Kayla says the paramedics did a good job bandaging her. Kayla checks her and says she might have a broken arm but they will know more with an x-ray. Kayla says that Talia is very lucky and she will get her painkilllers. Kayla then exits the room to give them a moment. Talia asks Jada how Chanel is.

Eric decides to take Paulina to the chapel to pray. Chanel calls that weird as she didn’t think anyone could calm Paulina down, let alone Eric. Rafe calls Paulina a strong woman and says Chanel takes after her. Chanel isn’t sure about that. Rafe asks if she’s ready to talk about it. Chanel says she is so she sits with Rafe. Rafe tells her to take her time. Chanel starts by saying that tonight Talia told her that Sloan’s brother ran the whole show and she was his girlfriend who had been working the whole time with him against them. Chanel says she tried to call Paulina to warn her but when she called, Colin answered and told her to meet him on the roof of the Salem Inn. Chanel adds that when she got there, he had a gun and said he was going to make Paulina jump so she would die like his mother died but when she wouldn’t, he turned the gun on her. Chanel says that was when Talia and Jada showed up and things got even crazier. Chanel thought Colin was going to start shooting everyone but that’s when Talia jumped in and tried to grab the gun but Colin started fighting her off and then they both went over the edge. Rafe takes that as what Chanel is saying is that Talia saved her life. Chanel disagrees and argues that if it wasn’t for Talia, she wouldn’t have been on the roof, Paulina wouldn’t have been in danger, and Colin couldn’t have done any of this. Rafe knows that Talia has been lying to them but asks if she was really in that deep and knew what Colin was doing. Chanel reveals that Talia admitted everything and that she loves that creep so she would do anything that he told her to do which is why she spiked the biscuits, stole Paulina’s keys, and was willing to sleep with her. Chanel tells Rafe not to let Talia get away with this. Chanel notes that Talia tried telling her that she felt bad about it all, but she still did it and needs to pay.

Jada tells Talia that Chanel and Paulina are okay. Talia tells Jada that she’s never seen Colin like that before. Talia knows he wanted to teach them a lesson. Jada says it’s obvious that he wanted to kill them from the beginning. Talia argues that it just got out of hand. Jada brings up the things Talia did and the lies she told her. Jada says that’s not her. Talia argues that Colin lost both of his parents and it wrecked him. Jada says that a lot of people have been through worse than Colin and don’t try to kill people. Jada adds that Talia knew it was wrong which is why she called her. Jada points out that she is trained to handle situations like this and asks why she didn’t just let her handle it. Talia says she knows but she just wanted to stop Colin from hurting Chanel and she never meant for him to go off the side of the roof. Jada questions why she gives a damn about him.

Colin tells Sloan that he had those two bitches right where he wanted them but then Talia showed up with Jada and everything went to hell. Colin argues that Talia was supposed to be on his side and she pushed him. Sloan questions why he was up there in the first place. Colin says it had to be on the roof. Sloan asks why he did any of it and why he didn’t leave. Sloan reminds him that she told him she would go to the police if he didn’t back off. Sloan says she misses their parents as much as he does but there are limits and he can’t kill. Colin complains that Sloan gave up and asks what kind of life she could live if she had to see the people that did this to them being free and alive. Sloan guesses she just did what she had to. Colin says that he did too. Colin states that they are different as he can’t forget what happened and how everything was torn apart because he’ll never forget.

Wendy tells Li that she was in Seattle, helping Tripp with Joey and she was pretty angry with Johnny when she left, so she guesses that made her want to see if there was still something with Tripp. Li asks if there was. Wendy admits that Tripp is still interested, she does like him, and they ended up going out one night which felt good. Li feels she doesn’t sound that over the moon about it. Wendy says she just doesn’t like not knowing how she’s feeling. She mentions getting so angry with Johnny, but she likes him, while Tripp is so easy to be with and she knows she has to choose but she doesn’t know how to do it. Li asks why she has to choose. Wendy admits she doesn’t know why. Li tells her that she doesn’t have to choose and says in business, the worst thing you can do is make a decision before having all the data. Wendy jokes that it scares her that she’s talking to him about her personal life and it terrifies her that he’s actually making sense. Li says he has his moments. Wendy notes that she told Johnny that she wouldn’t be gone long, so she wonders if he thinks she was lying to him about how she feels about Tripp. Li feels Johnny will take what he can get based on the last time he saw him. Li encourages that Wendy has the upper hand and can take her time to decide what she wants because they will both wait since she is worth waiting for. Li jokes that they’re a real pair since he has no one and she has more guys than she knows what to do with.

Johnny tells Gabi that Wendy was vague but he thought she’d be home by now. Gabi thought Wendy believed him about being drugged. Johnny says she said that she did but Tripp was there and he was here, so it’s kind of hard to compete when you’re not in the stadium. Gabi encourages that he doesn’t know for sure and suggests that he call Wendy and ask her. Johnny worries about coming off needy. Gabi urges him not to give up. Gabi points out that Stefan was dead and now they are getting married. Gabi declares that hope and love is what makes the world go round as she then heads back upstairs. Johnny decides to call Wendy but she shows up at his door. Johnny says he missed her very much and leans in to kiss her but she backs away and says she wants to say something. Wendy is glad they got the proposal stuff behind them because she likes him and being with him, but she likes Tripp too.

Gabi shows up at Li’s door and says she wanted to tell him something in person. Gabi informs him that after she got the divorce papers, Stefan proposed and she accepted. Li says she could have texted him that news and questions why she’s here instead of celebrating with Stefan. Gabi states that they have celebrated and she was going to grab a second bottle of champagne but Stefan was already asleep which gave her the chance to do this. Gabi then hands Li the divorce papers and informs him that she signed them too.

Jada questions Talia as to why she cares about what happens to Colin and if she still has feelings for him after everything he did. Talia admits she doesn’t know, pointing out that she could have died but he could have too and she would’ve been the one who killed him. Jada points out that she didn’t and he survived. Jada urges Talia to forget about Colin and be glad that it’s over. Talia asks Jada if she can just see that Colin is okay. Kayla returns to the room with pain medicine. Kayla tells Jada that Talia will need to get some sleep. Jada declares there is something she needs to do and exits the room.

Sloan tells Colin not to talk like that because the place is crawling with cops. Jada then storms in and questions what Sloan is doing there. Jada says it won’t take long and handcuffs Colin to the bed. She says he’s under arrest but she won’t read him his rights because he already has counsel in Sloan. Jada then storms back out of the room.

Rafe tells Chanel that he can’t say anything until he speaks to the district attorney. Chanel declares that one way or another, Talia Hunter is not getting away with this. Jada comes out and Rafe excitedly greets her, asking how she’s holding up. Jada says she’s okay and informs him that she just arrested Colin. Chanel asks what about Talia. Jada responds that she thinks she’s going to be okay. Chanel angrily says that she wasn’t inquiring about her health as Talia is just as guilty as Colin which she already knows. Chanel points out that Jada arrested Colin and asks what about Talia. Chanel then decides she’s going to check on Paulina because she’s worried that Abe might die because he got in Colin and Talia’s way. Chanel warns Jada that if Talia is not arrested tonight, she will be calling the district attorney tonight and alerting the media. Chanel then storms off. Rafe tells Jada that Chanel told him about everything that Talia had confessed to her, so he has no choice but to hold her. Rafe suggests Jada go home and rest but Jada says she’s still on duty and she has an arrest to make as she walks away.

Li tells Gabi that it must feel nice to finally be free. Gabi admits that it does but says she’s not here to gloat, pointing out that Li is free too to put himself out there. Gabi knows there will be somebody waiting that will be very lucky to find him. Li argues that after everything he put her through, she can’t seriously think someone would be lucky to find him. Gabi says she doesn’t forget the things that she’s done to get what she wants, so she can’t take the moral high ground here. Gabi suggests they just move on and forget the past. Li apologizes for hurting her and admits he got crazy because losing her is the worst thing that ever happened to him. Gabi says she looks back and calls it inevitable. Gabi admits they’re a lot like so it felt like something that could last, but even if Stefan never came back, Li said himself that it was all a game. Gabi kisses Li on the cheek and says he will realize that when he meets the right woman and she hopes he does soon. Gabi then exits the apartment.

Wendy tells Johnny that she’s sorry if she was abrupt, but she thought he needed to know where they stood. Johnny questions her not shutting him down just then. Johnny asks if she likes them both and wants to see where it goes. Wendy doesn’t want to make it sound like a competition but says she likes different things about both of them. Johnny suggests calling it a competition since that means he’s still in the game as they then kiss. Johnny then states that he likes his chances.

Rafe finishes a call. Kayla comes over and asks where Paulina is because she has good news. Rafe says she’s in the chapel. Eric and Chanel then return with Paulina to ask about the good news. Kayla announces that Abe has just been brought to recovery which Paulina is relieved to hear. Kayla adds that the doctor is cautiously optimistic that the surgery was a success. Paulina asks to see Abe which Kayla says she can allow that briefly so she takes her to his room. Eric asks Rafe if Talia is okay. Rafe says it looks that way. Eric insists that Sloan had no idea that Colin would do this and she would’ve stopped him if she had. Rafe tells Eric not to worry as Sloan isn’t facing any charges. Eric remarks that Rafe could’ve just apologized for harassing Sloan earlier. Rafe tells Eric that visiting hours are over so he should take Sloan home so she doesn’t run in to Paulina again.

Sloan tells Colin that he had to know this would happen. Colin asks if she really would have gone to the police. Sloan asks what difference it makes now. Colin argues that she’s all he has left, so he asks if she is for him or against him. Sloan states that he is her brother and nothing changes that. Colin responds that he doesn’t need a sister right now, he needs a lawyer and she has to get him out of this. Sloan reminds him that he assaulted the mayor and put the mayor’s wife and stepdaughter at gunpoint. Colin asks if he can count on her. Sloan repeats that he is her brother no matter what, so of course she’s going to help him, right as Eric looks in to the room.

Chanel returns to Rafe and asks what’s happening with Talia. Rafe informs her that she’s in the process of being arrested. Chanel says that’s what she was hoping for.

Jada returns to Talia’s hospital room as she wakes up. Talia asks if she saw Colin and what happened to him. Jada informs her that he’s not going to die and she arrested him. Jada declares that now she has to do the same with her. Jada reads Talia her rights while holding back tears.

In the living room of the DiMera Mansion, EJ complains to Nicole that it’s no surprise that Gabi managed to worm her way back in to the family. Nicole knows they are going to use their wedding to bolster their image at the company. EJ then suggests maybe they will steal their thunder and upstage them. Nicole asks how, so EJ gets down on one knee and proposes to Nicole. Nicole doesn’t know what to say while EJ encourages her to say yes to being his wife.

Melinda confronts Eric at the police station and brings up when he pretended to be a paralegal. Eric informs her that he’s waiting on Sloan. Melinda asks if Sloan is in the interrogation room with one of her skeevy clients. Eric decides she’s going to find out sooner than later and reveals that Sloan has been arrested.

Sloan tells Jada that the last time she saw Colin was yesterday afternoon at the motel after he promised her that he was going to leave town. Jada asks if he gave any indication of where he was going next. Sloan complains that they’ve already been over that she doesn’t know where he is. Jada warns her to drop the attitude and says if she would’ve just turned her brother in then she wouldn’t be in this mess but now her psychotic brother is on the loose and who knows what he’ll do next. Sloan argues that he’s not dangerous and that Jada doesn’t know him. Jada responds that she knows him well enough to know that he somehow convinced her sister to do his dirty work and that makes him dangerous enough to her. Sloan questions what she is talking about. Jada says they are talking about Sloan here, so she doesn’t owe her any explanations. Sloan didn’t know Jada had a sister and wants to talk about her. Sloan decides that Jada doesn’t get to just drop a bomb like that and walk it back. Sloan questions how exactly her sister and Colin are involved.

Talia questions how Paulina’s scarf got in Colin’s hotel room and wonders what Colin has done now.

Rafe finds Abe at the Bakery and tells him he’s going to be alright as he’s calling for an ambulance. Abe urges Rafe to help Paulina. Rafe assures that he will as he calls in for the ambulance. Rafe tells Abe that they are on the way to get him help and asks if he can tell him who did this to him. Abe responds that it was a young guy who said he was a health inspector that hit him from behind and he’s got Paulina.

Chanel comes to the rooftop where Colin is holding his gun on Paulina. Paulina tells Chanel to do what he says. Colin says he’s delighted that Chanel showed up as this has all worked out perfectly. Chanel asks what he’s going to do. Colin complains that they went to great lengths to make the world believe that his mom threw herself off of a building so now the story is about to come full circle. Colin tells Chanel to say goodbye to her mom, because she’s about to jump to her death as he holds her at gunpoint. Chanel cries for him to stop. Colin complains that Paulina used her money and influence to make the world believe that his mother committed suicide. Colin declares that now Paulina is going to end her life the same way that Chanel ended his mom’s. Chanel pleads with him but Colin mocks her. Paulina argues that he needs his help as he’s out of his mind. Colin blames them for making him this way. Colin shouts that Chanel took his parents away from him, so now she’s going to watch as he takes her mom away from her.

Rafe encourages Abe to stay with him. Abe worries about Paulina being taken. Rafe assures that there’s an APB out on him already and every cop wants to find him. Abe asks who it is. Rafe informs him that it’s Colin Bedford, Sloan Peterson’s brother. The ambulance arrives as Abe loses consciousness.

Sloan demands that Jada tell her what she thinks she has on her brother. Jada says she can demand all she wants but she’s the suspect here, so she asks the questions. Sloan argues that she’s charging her as an accessory, so if her sister is involved, she can’t be objective. Jada gets a call from Talia, who says she really needs her help as she thinks she really messed up. Jada tells her to come to the station but Talia says she needs to come to her. Talia tells her to come to room 514 at the Salem Inn and to hurry. Jada responds that she’s on her way. Sloan asks what about her. Jada tells her to stay put. Sloan questions where the hell she is going as Jada exits the room. Melinda tries to ask Jada for an explanation on Sloan’s arrest but Jada rushes out of the station. Melinda then questions if Eric has a thing for obnoxious women since he’s been with Nicole, Jada, and now Sloan.

EJ tells Nicole that he needs an answer. Nicole asks EJ to get up. EJ questions what’s wrong as he thought she liked being spontaneous. EJ jokingly asks if she wants a grand proposal. Nicole suggests a simple and sincere proposal of marriage. EJ decides to try again and asks Nicole to marry him, but she says no. Nicole questions why she would even think of marrying a cynical, opportunistic jackass. EJ questions her not just rejecting his proposal, but calling him names. Nicole remarks that he’s lucky that she didn’t knee him in the family jewels. Nicole suggests that next time, he comes prepared with a ring. EJ asks if that’s why she rejected him. Nicole says no, so EJ questions what the problem is here then. Nicole argues that it wasn’t heartfelt. EJ claims he had the purest intentions when he asked her to marry him. Nicole argues that the only reason EJ proposed to her is because Stefan proposed to Gabi.

Eric asks if he can go in to talk to Sloan but Melinda says no. Melinda asks if Jada arrested Sloan because she finally has proof that Sloan poisoned the biscuits. Eric says it’s quite the opposite as Jada and Rafe now know for fact that someone else laced those biscuits. Melinda asks who that is but Eric doesn’t answer. Melinda decides she’s going to talk to Sloan then. Eric asks her to leave Sloan alone. Melinda suggests then Eric tell her what she wants to know and then she will let him be in there when she talks to her.

Jada goes to see Talia and demands that she tell her everything she knows about Colin. Jada reveals that she already knows Colin is Sloan’s brother. Talia asks how she found out. Jada reminds her that she’s a cop and questions Talia helping Colin harass Chanel and Paulina this whole time. Jada shouts that their father would be so ashamed. Talia tells her to stop yelling at her and to listen. Talia tells Jada that she has to stop Colin from hurting Paulina. Jada asks what he has done. Talia cries that Colin swore that he was done going after them, but then she found Paulina’s scarf in the room. Jada questions if Colin stole it. Talia doesn’t think so, so Jada asks what she does think. Talia believes Paulina was in the room with Colin. Jada questions where the hell they are now.

Rafe goes to the hospital with Abe and makes a call about the APB on Colin. Rafe orders the units to look harder as he’s pretty sure Colin attacked Abe and kidnapped Paulina, so he should be considered armed and dangerous.

Paulina tells Colin that they can work this out and tells him to name his price. Colin argues that he doesn’t want her dirty money, he wants his parents back and since she can’t give him that, he wants justice. Paulina says he’s out of his mind if he thinks she’s jumping off the roof. Colin decides that he’ll get justice another way then, by making her watch her daughter die.

Nicole questions EJ not saying anything. EJ mocks her tender sensibilities for deciding his proposal was a business maneuver. Nicole points out that EJ was desperate to find a way to upstage Stefan and Gabi. EJ then admits it did have something to do with Gabi and Stefan, but it’s not the only reason he proposed. Nicole asks what other reason there could be. EJ responds that he happens to love her and asks if that’s not up to her high standards either. Nicole is surprised and questions EJ saying he loves her. EJ assures that he does and declares that he’s very much in love with her.

Melinda brings Eric in to the interrogation room. Sloan questions what they are doing together. Melinda explains that they bumped in to each other here and Eric told her that Sloan was arrested. Sloan bets she loved hearing that. Melinda brings up getting sick from the drugged biscuits and that Eric told her that Sloan’s brother is behind it. Sloan responds that she doesn’t know who put the drugs in the biscuits, but the police believe that her brother has been harassing Paulina and Chanel. Melinda questions why Sloan is the one here then. Sloan responds that they say she’s an accessory for not turning Colin in. Sloan argues that she had no idea that he was in town until recently while she had no idea what he was up to and still doesn’t. Sloan complains that her whole arrest was an attempt at intimidation, so she intends to sue the department and the city. Sloan argues that she sought legal remedies for her problems with Chanel and Paulina and when that didn’t work, she gave up. Sloan adds that if the cops really try to nail on her on guilt by association, then they better be careful because one of their own is involved in this. Eric asks what she means. Sloan responds that she’s not the only one who has a sibling involved in this mess. Melinda asks her to be less cryptic. Sloan then reveals that Jada’s sister Talia is up to her neck in this.

Jada urges Talia to think of where Colin could have taken Paulina. Talia swears that she doesn’t know. Jada finds Colin’s family photo album and looks through it, seeing photos and clippings of his parents’ death. Jada states that he’s obsessed and asks how Talia could get involved with a guy like this. Talia argues that she didn’t know until after they were involved. Jada finds an article about Colin’s mother falling off a roof after a confrontation with Chanel. Talia then realizes that she might know where Colin took Paulina.

Paulina pleads with Colin not to hurt Chanel. Chanel tells Colin that he has to know the truth that his father wasn’t a victim, but a predator who took advantage of his student. Chanel argues that he pursued her and admits that she slept with him which is something that she will regret for the rest of her life. Chanel cries that Colin’s father cheated on his mother, so his mother lured her to the roof to try and kill her and she just defended herself. Chanel adds that if she could go back and change any of it, she would. Chanel swears that his mother’s death was an accident. Colin calls it lies. Chanel shouts that Colin will be doing this, knowing the truth. Colin declares that he was going to let Chanel live with the memory of her mother jumping to her death but now he’s going to kill them both.

A nurse gives Rafe five minutes to visit with Abe in the hospital, noting that Abe has a concussion and she’s waiting on the results from the CT scan. Abe calls out for Paulina. Rafe says he’s going to join the search but he wanted to see Abe first. Abe urges Rafe to leave him and find his wife. Rafe promises that he will. Abe shouts for Rafe to find his wife as he begins to have a seizure and his monitors start beeping, causing the nurse to rush in and check on him. Afterwards, the nurse steps out of the room with Rafe and explains that the CT scan showed a brain bleed caused the seizure and they have to get Abe in to the operating room immediately. She notes that Abe obviously can’t sign the consent form so she asks if a family member can do it. Rafe says he’ll get in touch with one of his sons, so the nurse says to let her know when he does. Rafe then makes a call to get Theo’s number.

Nicole questions EJ being in love with her. EJ asks if it’s really that much of a revelation since they were in love and married before. Nicole says she remembers and has the battle scars to prove it. EJ assures it will be different this time. Nicole asks when it hit him that he felt this way. EJ admits he’s not sure but the past few months with her and Holly has been the happiest he’s been in a long time. EJ says they are a good fit, madly attracted to each other, and they make each other laugh. Nicole doesn’t know what to say. EJ suggests she say that she loves him too, if she does. Nicole responds that she does care about him. EJ takes that as she’s not in love with him. EJ guesses it’s still because of Eric Brady.

Melinda questions Sloan telling her that Jada’s sister somehow got involved with her brother. Eric asks how long she’s known about this. Sloan explains that she just found out when Jada let something slip while questioning her and then she got a call from her sister and rushed out. Sloan points out the unfairness of arresting her as an accessory while her own sister may be an accessory and is out running free. Sloan warns that it’s not a good look for the department. Sloan points out that Melinda could change the situation by making these bogus charges go away. Melinda decides that she’s heard enough to do that and tells Sloan that she’s free to go, but her brother is going to have to answer for what he did and so is Talia Hunter.

Jada and Talia find Colin with Paulina and Chanel on the rooftop. Jada tells Colin that it’s over and warns that she will pull her trigger if he doesn’t let Paulina go. Colin responds that he doesn’t give a damn what happens to him. Talia pleads with Colin to listen. Colin questions what she’s doing here and why she brought Jada, shouting that he trusted her. Talia cries that Colin promised her that this was over. Talia pleads with Colin to let Paulina go. Jada says Colin will listen to Talia if he cares about her at all. Jada warns that he doesn’t want to add murderer to his long list of crimes. Paulina begins having a panic attack while Colin holds her at gunpoint and he questions what is wrong with her.

Nicole tells EJ that Eric has nothing to do with the way that she feels about him. EJ asks if she’s sure as he would understand if sex with her ex husband rekindled her old feelings. Nicole assures that that was only because they were drugged, they were both embarrassed and have both moved on. Nicole says she thought they settled this. EJ questions what is keeping her from accepting his proposal then. Nicole states that the timing is just a bit off. EJ asks what exactly she means.

Melinda finishes a call as Sloan asks if she can go now. Melinda informs Sloan that Colin posed a health inspector and met with Paulina and Abe at the Bakery, where he attacked Abe with a blunt instrument and Abe is now in surgery. Melinda adds that Abe told Rafe that Colin has Paulina. Eric asks if Abe is going to make it. Melinda confirms that Rafe called an ambulance, so she hopes Abe will make it through this but nobody knows. Sloan calls this a nightmare. Melinda warns that she better hope that Jada can stop Colin before he causes any more damage tonight. Melinda advises Sloan to give up this stupid vendetta and tells her not to leave town as she then exits the station. Sloan asks Eric to get her out of here now, so they exit together.

Rafe calls Theo and encourages him that Abe can get the surgery and beat this. Rafe gives the phone to the doctor, so that Theo can give consent for Abe’s surgery. She tells Theo that if they operate now, Abe stands a chance at full recovery. She thanks him and asks Theo to sign the forms electronically when he gets them. Rafe thanks Theo and hangs up. Rafe asks the doctor to do everything she can to save Abe’s life as she goes to prepare for surgery. Rafe tries calling Jada again and leaves a message that he’s at the hospital with Abe and for her to call him when she gets the message. Rafe wonders what Colin is doing to Paulina.

Colin questions if Paulina is faking. Talia tries to explain the panic attack as it happened before. Paulina begins passing out. Chanel screams for Talia to help her. Jada tells Talia to stay back but Talia shouts that she’s a doctor and has to help. Colin argues that it could just be another stunt. Chanel screams that Paulina started having these attacks after Colin and Sloan started making her life miserable. Jada warns Colin to get under control as he’s in enough trouble as it is. Colin then grabs Chanel and holds her at gunpoint.

EJ questions why Nicole needs more time to decide how she feels about him. Nicole says he’s just taken her by surprise and admits she has been keeping him at arms length because things between them have had a way of not working out, but now he’s said something that changed everything so she needs a little time. EJ tells her to take as much time as she needs. EJ wants to make it clear that he’s in love with her and wants to spend the rest of his life with her and Holly. Nicole admits she did not see this coming. EJ tells her to get used to it as they kiss. EJ points out that it’s late, so she should get to bed. Nicole tells EJ to go upstairs and she’ll be right there. EJ tells her not to keep him waiting too long as they kiss and he then heads upstairs. Nicole says to herself that EJ loves her and wants to marry her but she can’t even think about that until she knows whether her baby is EJ’s or Eric’s.

Eric and Sloan walk through the town square. Eric wonders when they will hear word on Abe. Sloan wants to find Colin and try to convince him to give himself up. Eric wishes she would’ve trusted him enough to tell him that she saw Colin in town. Sloan apologizes and says Colin is the only family she has left, so she was just trying to protect him. Sloan admits she didn’t know how he’d react. Eric relates with his sister Sami, but he doesn’t understand how Sloan was enabling Colin to do the things that he was doing. Sloan swears that she had nothing to do with Colin harassing Paulina and Chanel. Eric says he believes her, but if they are going to stay together then there can be no more secrets between them. Sloan thinks back to discovering that Nicole is pregnant. Sloan then promises Eric no more secrets as she hugs him.

Rafe tries calling Jada again and says he still hasn’t heard from her while dispatch has no location for her. Rafe notes that Melinda said Jada went looking for her sister. Rafe wonders if Jada is in trouble and needs backup.

Jada screams for Colin to drop the gun. Chanel drops to the ground with Paulina as Talia then rushes Colin and begins fighting with Colin over the gun. Jada screams for Talia to take cover and let her do this. Jada and Chanel scream while Talia and Colin continue to struggle with each other for the gun. Talia and Colin then both end up falling over the ledge and off the roof of the building!

Days of Our Lives Update

Stefan and Gabi return to their room, commenting on their day at work and joking about EJ’s anger management classes and sensitivity training. Gabi opens an envelope from the mail and says she can’t believe this.

Nicole enters the living room of the DiMera Mansion and pours a glass of water to take her pre-natal vitamins with. Nicole thinks back to running in to Sloan at the hospital and remarks that she better keep her mouth shut. EJ then walks in and greets her, then asks what the vitamins are for.

Sloan questions Rafe and Jada wanting to talk about her brother. Rafe identifies him as Colin Bedford while Jada asks when Sloan last spoke to him. Sloan responds that she left him a message this morning but he hasn’t gotten back to her. Jada asks if there was any particular reason she was reaching out. Sloan questions if being her brother is not reason enough. Eric asks what’s going on here and why they are so interested in Sloan’s brother. Rafe explains that they have reason to believe that he is the one who has been terrorizing Paulina and Chanel.

Chanel asks what Talia wants to confess. Talia responds that she hasn’t been completely honest with her about her feelings. Chanel guesses Talia is having second thoughts about being with a woman. Talia says it’s nothing like that but she doesn’t know how to tell her. Chanel says they will work through whatever it is. Talia then reveals that the only reason she kissed her and asked her out is because someone put her up to it. Chanel questions what she means and who it was. Talia admits it was her boyfriend.

Paulina shouts at Colin to stay away from Abe. Colin argues that he didn’t want to hurt Abe but he got in the way. Paulina questions who he is and what he wants. Colin says he will explain everything but she has to come with him. Paulina calls him crazy and says she’s not going anywhere with him. Colin then pulls a gun and warns that she might want to rethink that.

Eric understands why they might suspect Sloan’s brother but says they are way off base because Colin isn’t anywhere near Salem. Sloan agrees that he’s not as far as she knows. Jada responds that they are either lying to them or misinformed, because up until yesterday, he was right here in town and staying at the White Dove Motel. Rafe adds that Colin has been renting a room there for several weeks and questions Sloan expecting them to believe that he hasn’t made contact with her.

Chanel questions Talia about her boyfriend. Talia says it’s the one from New York that she told him about, Colin. Chanel thought she said that was her ex. Talia knows what she said but reveals they are still together. Chanel questions if they are still together then why he would want her to hook up with her. Chanel asks if he’s looking for a threesome but Talia says it’s nothing like that. Talia reveals that he wanted her to break Chanel’s heart. Chanel doesn’t understand why he’d want to do something so cruel when she doesn’t even know him. Talia responds that she doesn’t, but he knows her. Talia then reveals that he is Sloan’s brother which shocks Chanel.

Paulina agrees to go with Colin but asks to call an ambulance for Abe first. Colin demands she hand over her phone, so she does. Paulina asks about Abe and worries that he could die. Colin remarks that she didn’t give a damn about his family and asks why he should give a damn about her family. Paulina questions how she would know his family and what he’s talking about. Colin repeats that he will explain everything. Paulina cries that she’s sorry she has to leave Abe as Colin forces her out of the bakery.

Stefan asks Gabi if everything is okay. Gabi says she’s just surprised as it’s her divorce papers from Li and it looks like he already signed them. Stefan notes that was fast. Gabi wasn’t sure that he wouldn’t fight it. Stefan asks how it looks. Gabi says her lawyer still has to look it over but once she signs it and has it filed, she’s a free woman. Stefan says not for long. Gabi asks what he’s up to. Stefan says he was going to wait until they were in a more romantic setting, but after seeing her happy like this, he couldn’t think of a more perfect time. Stefan tells Gabi that he loves her more than anything on the planet and wants to spend the rest of his life with her. Stefan gets down on one knee and asks Gabi to again do him the honor of becoming his wife.

Nicole claims to EJ that she was just taking some medication that Kayla prescribed to her. EJ remembers her condition while Nicole remarks that he makes it sound like she’s dying. EJ calls it no big deal. Nicole agrees and argues that it’s sexist for men to think women are over the hill when they are in menopause which Nicole says she is not, so EJ questions why she said she was.

Rafe asks Sloan again if she’s made any contact with her brother. Sloan says even if he was in town, it doesn’t mean he is the one going after Paulina and Chanel. Rafe points out that he certainly has motive. Sloan angrily questions if they have any actual evidence to implicate him. Rafe calls it an ongoing investigation. Sloan calls it a witch hunt. Sloan tells Eric that they’ve wasted enough of their time. Jada knows she wants to protect her brother, but warns that she’s not doing him any favors by covering up for him. Rafe suggests maybe Sloan is also covering herself and she’s been working with Colin all along. Sloan denies that but Jada says she clearly knows more than she’s letting on. Eric advises Sloan to tell the truth if Colin is responsible, before anything worse happens. Sloan then breaks down crying and admits it was Colin who committed the crimes against Paulina and Chanel.

Colin brings Paulina to his hotel room. Paulina tells him to let her go but Colin refuses. Paulina says she’s sure someone saw him force her to walk over here so they are going to call the police. Colin insists that it was deserted and they came in the back entrance. Paulina pleads with him to send Abe some help to give him a fighting chance. Colin says they don’t have time for that as he has a lot to accomplish tonight. Paulina questions what that means. Colin says he wants to show her something.

Chanel questions Talia’s boyfriend being Sloan’s brother which means he is Nathan and Martha’s son. Talia confirms that is true and explains that Colin is still traumatized by what happened and blames Chanel for his parents’ death. Talia adds that while Sloan was pursuing legal action to get back at her, Colin had this whole plan. Chanel realizes that Talia knew who she was when she signed up for the bakery. Talia admits that one of Colin’s plans was for her to get close to her, so she could lead her on and break her heart. Talia adds that it wasn’t Colin’s only goal. Chanel realizes that Colin is the one who has been harassing her and Paulina, and that Talia was helping him.

Gabi tells Stefan that she was not expecting this. Stefan says they can pump the brakes if it’s too soon. Gabi says she just didn’t think it was on their radar. Stefan says it has been ever since he got out from Dr. Rolf’s spell but she was under Li’s contract. Stefan realizes that no DiMera Shares or anything are worth not being able to hug, kiss, and make love to her again. Stefan declares that now they are so close to where they were when they got torn apart. Stefan jokes that he’s still waiting for an answer. Gabi agrees to marry him and accepts his proposal as they kiss.

Nicole claims to EJ that she meant that she’s only in the early stages of menopause. EJ asks if they aren’t the same thing. Nicole insists that they are different and questions EJ making a big deal out of it. EJ apologizes as he didn’t know it was such a touchy subject for her. Nicole complains that it’s because of men’s attitudes about it. EJ kisses her and suggests they head to the bedroom. EJ adds that he still finds her incredibly desirable and says she’s never looked sexier as they kiss.

Rafe asks Sloan how long she has known it was her brother. Sloan swears that she just found out yesterday when she overheard them talking at the station about a shifty guy named Colin with a British accent, so it sort of fell in to place for her. Sloan admits she went to the motel to confront him. Rafe asks if Colin admitting everything. Sloan confirms that Colin was determined to get justice for their parents after the legal system failed them, but he didn’t want her to know because he knew she would try to talk him out of it, which she did, and that’s when she told him to leave town immediately or else she would turn him in. Jada asks if he said he was working alone. Sloan says she assumed he was because he didn’t mention anyone else. Rafe asks where Colin is now. Sloan doesn’t know since he checked out of the motel. Jada asks if he went back to New York or London. Sloan admits he didn’t say. Rafe decides they will put out an APB and hope he didn’t get in far. Rafe adds that in the meantime, they will settle for Sloan.

Abe starts to regain consciousness on the floor of the Bakery.

Colin shows Paulina a family photo. Paulina realizes he is Nathan and Martha’s son and Sloan’s baby brother. Paulina asks if he’s been working with Sloan this whole time. Colin says Sloan has nothing to do with this and this was all his plan. Paulina understands he must have been traumatized by what happened to his parents and calls it a terrible tragedy but swears it’s not what he thinks. Colin tells her to shut up . Paulina wants to explain. Colin argues that he’s heard her side of the story, now it’s time that she hears his.

Chanel argues that Jada suspected this and she was right that Talia was working with Colin this whole time. Talia cries that it’s true. Chanel asks if Sloan was in on it but Talia says it was just her and Colin. Chanel questions letting Sloan take the blame. Talia explains that she’s a lawyer, so they figured she would exonerate herself. Chanel argues that they were all ready to torch Sloan at the stake while they flew under the radar. Chanel realizes Talia broke in to Paulina’s office and shouts that she is the reason that Paulina started having panic attacks. Talia cries that it wasn’t supposed to happen and swears nobody was supposed to get seriously hurt. Chanel argues that someone could’ve died. Talia cries that it was only supposed to hurt her business. Chanel talks about what the Bakery meant to her and how much she worked for it. Chanel thought Talia was a friend and more than that as she questions how Talia could do this to her.

Stefan and Gabi walk in to the living room, interrupting EJ and Nicole kissing. Gabi remarks that everyone deserves love in their life, including them. Nicole guesses she’s up to something and complains about their performance reviews. Stefan says no one will care when they see what they cooked up. Gabi announces that they are engaged. Stefan declares that once they are married, they are going to run the company together as Mr. & Mrs. DiMera.

Sloan complains to Rafe and Jada that she just told them that she had nothing to do with Colin’s crimes. Rafe points out that she knew about it and told him to flee, which makes her an accessory after the fact. Sloan argues that she just handed them their entire case so she thought they would cut her a break. Eric agrees that they should since Sloan cooperated and told them everything that she knew. Jada says that’s to be determined and she has a lot more questions that Sloan can answer at the police station. Rafe adds that maybe if Colin hears that Sloan has been arrested, he’ll come forward and take responsibility. Eric calls this unnecessary since Sloan said she would turn Colin in if he did anything else. Jada reads Sloan her rights and officially arrests her.

Colin shows Paulina more photos from his family photo album and tells a story of a family vacation together. Colin says his parents were deeply in love which is how he knows that Paulina and Chanel are lying. Paulina argues that relationships and people change. Colin says not his parents because their love was real and they had a real family until Paulina came along and erased it. Colin shouts that Paulina rewrote their story when she covered up Chanel’s crimes as he suddenly went from having two loving parents to a suicidal mother and a predatory dad. Paulina argues that his father was a predator who took advantage of a young girl. Colin accuses her of distorting the truth again. Colin argues that Chanel seduced his father and lured him in to an affair which he deeply regretted but Chanel was ruthless and a cold blooded murder. Colin declares that now it’s time that Chanel gets exactly what she deserves. Paulina questions what he means and what he did to her daughter. Colin tells her not to worry as Chanel is not in any immediate danger, unlike her.

Chanel realizes Talia has been playing her this whole time and pretending to be her friend and interested in her. Talia tells her that she has to understand that Colin convinced her that she was an awful monster who killed his mother and seduced his father. Chanel says that’s not what happened. Talia cries that she knows that now and when she heard Chanel’s side of the story, she started having doubts as she couldn’t imagine someone so kind doing something so evil. Chanel points out that it didn’t stop her and she kept going on with Colin’s twisted schemes. Talia cries that Colin convinced her that he couldn’t live without getting justice for his parents and she loves him. Chanel questions how she could love someone who would set out to destroy people’s lives. Talia thought he was justified somehow. Chanel argues that there is no way to justify what he did. Chanel calls Colin a psycho and says Talia is one too. Chanel screams at Talia to get out and says she never wants to see her again. Talia then exits in tears as Chanel breaks down crying.

Gabi tells Stefan that they should go big for their second wedding and invite everyone from DiMera. Stefan agrees and says they will prove to be a true power couple. EJ argues that it will only prove that Stefan is a fool for falling for a gold digger. Stefan says that EJ just can’t stand to see them happy. Stefan offers champagne to celebrate which Nicole turns down. Gabi comments on never seeing Nicole turn down a drink. Nicole responds that she doesn’t want to celebrate their unholy union. EJ says that makes two of them. Stefan decides that’s more champagne for them. Stefan then takes the bottle with them as he and Gabi exit the room.

Jada brings Sloan to the interrogation room at the police station. Eric argues that she knows Sloan doesn’t deserve to be arrested. Jada responds that it will be up to the district attorney if she wants to press charges. Jada says she has to do her job so she asks Eric to step out. Eric argues that she can’t question Sloan without a lawyer. Jada says she knows how it works. Sloan tells Eric that it’s okay and she’s got this. Eric tells her that he will be right outside the door if she needs anything. Jada is glad Sloan decided to cooperate. Sloan points out that it hasn’t done her much good so far. Jada says it will help her case if they find Colin. Jada asks Sloan to start from the beginning. Sloan asks for the handcuffs to be removed first.

Rafe stands outside the Pub and calls for an APB out on Colin Bedford and if anyone sees or hears anything, to call him immediately. Rafe then gets a call from Abe, who says he needs help. Rafe asks what’s happening and where he is. Abe reveals that he was attacked at the bakery. Rafe says he’s on his way and rushes off.

Talia goes to Colin’s hotel room and says they need to talk but finds the room is empty. Talia finds his family photo album on the bed and wonders where he is.

Colin brings Paulina to a rooftop and says this won’t take long. Paulina asks why he brought her here. Paulina guesses he realized he couldn’t fire his gun in the room because everyone would hear and asks if he brought her up here to shoot her.

Chanel realizes that she has to warn Paulina and tries calling her. Chanel says that she has something important to tell her and that she finally figured out who was harassing them. Colin is revealed to have answered Paulina’s phone and he tells Chanel that it’s nice to meet her. Chanel questions what the hell he did with Paulina. Colin responds that she’s fine, but if she wants her to stay that way, she will have to follow his instructions very carefully.

Gabi tells Stefan that she enjoyed rubbing their news in EJ and Nicole’s faces, but she’s glad it’s just the two of them now as she just wants to be surrounded by happy vibes. Stefan toasts to their second marriage being filled with as much laughter, love, and less death than the first as they kiss in bed.

EJ complains to Nicole that it’s no surprise that Gabi managed to worm her way back in to the family. Nicole knows they are going to use their wedding to bolster their image at the company. EJ then suggests maybe they will steal their thunder and upstage them. Nicole asks how, so EJ gets down on one knee and proposes to Nicole.

Rafe bursts in to the Bakery and finds Abe recovering on the floor. Rafe asks what happened and if he’s alright. Abe tells Rafe to help Paulina.

Chanel comes to the rooftop where Colin is holding his gun on Paulina. Colin says she is just in time.

Sloan tells Jada that the last time she saw Colin was yesterday afternoon at the motel after he promised her that he was going to leave town. Jada asks if he gave any indication of where he was going next. Sloan complains that they’ve already been over that she doesn’t know where he is. Jada warns her to drop the attitude and says if she would’ve just turned her brother in then she wouldn’t be in this mess but now her psychotic brother is on the loose and who knows what he’ll do next. Sloan argues that he’s not dangerous and that Jada doesn’t know him. Jada responds that she knows him well enough to know that he somehow convinced her sister to do his dirty work and that makes him dangerous enough to her. Sloan questions what she is talking about.

Talia cries that she’s ruined everything and hopes Colin doesn’t hate her for this. Talia pulls out her phone but then notices Paulina’s scarf on the floor. Talia recognizes it as Paulina’s and wonders what it is doing here.

Chanel screams at Colin to stay away from her mom while Colin warns her to stay back. Paulina tells Chanel to do what he says. Colin says he’s delighted that Chanel showed up as this has all worked out perfectly. Chanel asks what he’s going to do. Colin complains that they went to great lengths to make the world believe that his mom threw herself off of a building so now the story is about to come full circle. Colin tells Chanel to say goodbye to her mom, because she’s about to jump to her death as he holds her at gunpoint.

Days of Our Lives Update

Belle confronts Eric at the Brady Pub and questions what the hell is wrong with him as she just talked to Brady, who said that Eric and Sloan are getting serious. Belle asks if Eric is actually getting in to a relationship with that bitch.

Sloan bumps in to Nicole at the hospital and questions what she is doing with pre-natal vitamins. Nicole claims she must have grabbed the wrong kind. Sloan figured it was something like that because Eric just told her that her child bearing days are over because she had started menopause.

Chanel tells Talia that she’s glad she stopped by because she’s been thinking about her. Talia says she’s been thinking about her too. Chanel says this is about something else as she heard Jada accused her of a crime and thinks that she is the one coming after her.

Rafe and Jada find out that Colin does have a record after all and that his last name is not Firth.

Paulina and Abe go to the Bakery to meet the health inspector which turns out to be Colin pretending to be the inspector, claiming his name is Cameron Fry. Paulina thanks him and Abe says he’s relieved someone met with them. Paulina says Chanel can’t wait to reopen the Bakery. Colin remarks that there shouldn’t be a problem and he will take care of her daughter..

Rafe and Jada find out that Colin’s name is Colin Bedford and he was booked on assault charges five years ago. Jada says too bad the database only has his arrest and not if he went to trial or did any time. Rafe knows he heard that name before and tells Jada that she’ll never believe where.

Paulina assures that there won’t be anything to find in the Bakery and that Chanel was beside herself. Paulina and Abe talk about how Chanel is making sure that no one ever tampers with her product again. They talk about not letting Chanel know that this inspection was taking place but Abe suggests they should since she is the one who knows the place inside and out. Colin says that won’t be necessary as he’s confident he can find everything and right now prefers to just deal with them.

Talia questions how Chanel found out about Jada accusing her of drugging the biscuits. Chanel informs her that Paulina told her as they were talking about how there weren’t any other suspects but Sloan. Talia remarks that she just doesn’t understand why Jada would think it was her. Chanel guesses there was something off about her story but assures that Paulina doesn’t believe it as she knows Talia would never do anything to hurt her and so does she.

Eric informs Belle that Brady is right. Belle questions it not bothering him that Sloan has caused so much misery since coming to town and accuses her of drugging the biscuits. Eric asks if she has any proof. Belle admits she doesn’t yet because Sloan is an expert at covering her tracks, but argues that Sloan is also threatening Paulina. Belle shows Eric the threatening text messages. Eric asks how Belle knows that Sloan sent them. Belle admits that she doesn’t as Eric points out that she can’t prove that either. Belle asks if Eric is just turning his back while Sloan escalates her crazy plan. Eric says he’s not as he’s investigating this every way he can and believes Sloan has had nothing to do with Paulina since the civil suit was thrown out. Belle asks if it wasn’t Sloan then who was it. Eric responds that he doesn’t know because it’s not his job to play investigator. Marlena enters the Pub and sees them arguing. Belle questions Eric just taking Sloan at her word and remarks that she used to think he wasn’t gullible but stops and says she’s too polite to say anything. Eric shouts that he’s not too polite and he’s tired of being badgered and insulted. Marlena interrupts and tells them to stop this right now.

Sloan questions Nicole being up in arms over a bottle of vitamins. Nicole calls it none of her business. Sloan argues that she couldn’t have picked up the wrong kind since they are prescription. Nicole claims there was a lady in front of her line so maybe they gave hers to her by mistake. Sloan informs her that she saw Nicole’s name on the label so the vitamins were prescribed for her which means the only change of life she’s going through is being pregnant. Sloan questions why Nicole would tell Eric that she’s going through menopause and asks if he’s the baby daddy. Nicole tells Sloan that she’s wrong. Sloan reminds Nicole that she walked in on them right after they slept together. Nicole blames the tainted biscuits. Sloan calls her a piece of work. Sloan brings up that Nicole convinced Jada to get an abortion by asking if she really wanted to be tied to a man that was with another woman. Nicole argues that this situation isn’t the same as this one. Sloan argues that other women have to get abortions when they get pregnant with Eric’s baby but not her. Sloan accuses Nicole of being so desperate to get Eric back that she had to trick him in to knocking her up. Nicole then reveals that she doesn’t even know if the baby is Eric’s.

Marlena tells Eric and Belle that she could hear them bickering from down the block and asks what they are fighting about. Marlena then guesses it’s about Sloan. Belle confirms that and complains that Brady just told her that Eric and Sloan are a couple. Marlena asks so what. Belle questions her reaction. Marlena states that she doesn’t like Sloan any more than Belle does, but Eric is a grown man. Eric thanks her but Marlena warns that she’s not done yet. Marlena says when she came back alive, she found them at each others’ throats. Marlena reminds them that she asked them to put their differences aside but they couldn’t do that, so this is what she walks in to. Belle argues that she doesn’t understand. Marlena complains that life is too short for her to be playing referee to two adults behaving like children. Marlena would’ve thought that after all they’ve been through, they’d be happy to be together, alive, and a family. Belle remarks that she has made her feel terrible. Marlena wants to talk sense in to her. Marlena tells Belle that she knows she’s having a hard time with Shawn but not to take it out on her brother. Eric asks if she came in for a reason or just because she heard them arguing. Marlena informs him that she came to have lunch and to enjoy herself, but she’s lost her appetite so maybe she’ll just get back to the hospital where people really need her help. Marlena then walks back out of the Pub.

Chanel questions Talia as to why her own sister would turn on her like that. Talia says that Jada is just frustrated as she really wants to nail the person who did this to her. Chanel insists that it wasn’t Talia and remembers Talia’s first day at work and how she loves her work so she would never sabotage it. Talia states that Jada just has a job to do and she thought she caught her in a lie, so she followed up on it. Chanel can’t believe how nice she’s being about this. Talia says it’s over now, so it doesn’t matter. Chanel talks about how sweet and forgiving Talia is and kisses her.

Rafe reveals to Jada that he went back over Sloan’s mother’s case and her married name was Martha Bedford. Jada questions why Sloan’s name is Peterson and asks if she’s married. Rafe explains that Sloan just didn’t want to alert Paulina that she was coming to town, so she used her mother’s maiden name. Jada asks if this means Colin is related to Sloan. Rafe confirms that Martha Bedford had two children and the other one was a son.

Colin continues pretending to inspect the Bakery and tells Paulina and Abe that whoever drugged the biscuits have been able to stay one step ahead of the cops. Paulina argues that they know who it was, but haven’t been able to prove it. Paulina insists that it was Sloan and that she’s been after her and her family for no good reason. Colin remarks that he heard it was for quite a good reason.

Chanel tells Talia that she doesn’t want to assume anything but since they are here alone, she asks about going to her bedroom so they won’t be interrupted if Paulina and Abe come back. Chanel adds that if Talia doesn’t want that, they can stay right here. Talia thinks back to planning things with Colin. Talia then tells Chanel that she doesn’t want to get interrupted either, so they head to Chanel’s bedroom.

Rafe tells Jada that Colin has to be Sloan’s brother and that’s why he used a different name. Jada says he sure didn’t like her showing up at the motel. Rafe adds that Colin has to be the one going after Paulina and Chanel while Jada adds that he’s been using Talia to do it. They conclude that they couldn’t pin the biscuits on Talia because she had no motive, but her boyfriend did.

Paulina questions Colin saying he heard Sloan was after them for a good reason and what reason that is. Colin claims he didn’t mean to offend and that he just read in the paper that Chanel had pushed Sloan’s mother off the roof of a building. Paulina argues that the paper lies to boost sales because it was an accident that Chanel did nothing to cause. Paulina adds that Martha Bedford lured Chanel to the rooftop and attacked her. Colin brings up that it was because Chanel was having an affair with Martha’s husband. Abe argues that Chanel was seduced by the professor, who was 20 years older than her. Abe doesn’t call that an affair. Paulina argues that he took advantage of Chanel. Colin guesses he was fuzzy on the details because Paulina hired a bunch of people to cover it up.

Eric and Belle sit together at the Pub, saying that Marlena put them in their place. Eric admits to being defensive while Belle acknowledges that she came in guns blazing but says it was only because she’s worried about him. Eric assures that he can take care of himself. Belle argues that none of them know Sloan that well or what kind of person she is. Eric trusts his own instincts. Eric acknowledges that Sloan has a history with Paulina and Chanel and bad things are happening, but Abe is like an uncle to him so if he thought Sloan had anything to do with it, he wouldn’t want to be with her. Eric believes that Sloan is innocent and trusts her. Eric talks about getting to know the person she is and that she would not do the things that she’s been accused of. Belle decides that she will do her damndest not to worry about him then. Belle adds that Eric can still worry about him. Eric asks if Shawn is still a wreck after what happened to Bo. Belle confirms that he just keeps saying he shot his own father and is tortured by it. Belle complains that Shawn is dealing with it all alone and she should’ve cleared her schedule to go be with him in Greece, but she doesn’t even know how to track him down since he won’t take her calls. Eric tells her that he’s sorry. Belle guesses that’s why she’s been so hard on Eric since she couldn’t get her own life together, so she came to tell him how to live his.

Sloan asks Nicole about it maybe not being Eric’s baby. Nicole reminds her that she’s with EJ now. Sloan questions her having unprotected sex with both of them. Nicole tells her to keep her voice down. Nicole tells Sloan that she stuck her nose in her business and asks if it would be possible to keep her mouth shut. Sloan questions why she would do that. Nicole asks if she really wants Eric to know that she’s pregnant and argues that if she finds out the baby is EJ’s, then Eric never has to know that he was ever in the running to be the father. Sloan reluctantly agrees to keep Nicole’s secret. Marlena then arrives at the hospital and greets Nicole. Nicole tells Marlena that it’s so good to see her. Sloan tells Marlena that she was so relieved to find out that she was alive because Eric was in a lot of pain when he thought he lost her. Marlena is sorry that Eric had to go through that. Sloan suggests she and Eric take Marlena and John out to dinner now that she’s back. Marlena agrees to talk to John. Sloan says she knows it would mean a lot to Eric for them to get to know each other. Sloan adds that she really cares about Eric and calls him a wonderful person. Sloan says she’ll be in touch and exits the hospital. Nicole remarks that she thinks she’s going to throw up.

Rafe tells Jada that Talia said she broke up with Colin. Jada feels she’s obviously still been involved with him and that she didn’t want them to know that he’s Sloan’s brother, so they don’t know if anything else Talia told them is true. Rafe wonders if Colin really has Talia under his spell. Jada worries that he could then make Talia do whatever he wants. Jada talks about how Talia was really shaken up when talking about Colin. Rafe wonders if she knows what kind of bastard he really is. Jada notes that they can’t bring him in for questioning without knowing where he is since he checked out of the motel. Rafe decides they will have to track him down. Jada wants to talk to Talia first and confront her with what they know to see what she says.

Paulina questions why she is feeling like Colin thinks Chanel is involved in all of this. Abe argues that Chanel is a victim in all of this. Paulina adds that no charges were ever brought against them. Abe adds that Sloan’s lawsuit was thrown out. Colin remarks that for some people, it will never be over. Paulina questions what that means. Abe argues that Sloan has no legal right to come after Chanel, so if she continues to do so, she will face the consequences.

Talia and Chanel kiss in Chanel’s bedroom. Chanel stops and says she knows this is a major step for Talia, so they will only go as far as she wants or they can stop now if she wants. Talia thinks back to Colin telling her how much he needs her to do this. Talia then tells Chanel that she wants this just as much as she does and they continue kissing.

Marlena notes Nicole looking pale and offers to help her to the restroom. Nicole claims she just got queasy but she’s better now. Marlena asks if she’s ill or there to see a doctor. Nicole says she just came to pick up a prescription and remarks that it’s Sloan that made her want to puke. Nicole says she’s sorry but she just can’t stand Sloan. Marlena notes their conversation seemed tense and asks if they were arguing. Nicole says not exactly but that Sloan was sticking her nose in something that isn’t her business. Marlena reveals that she did overhear Sloan says she was going to keep her secret.

Eric tells Belle that he heard nobody knows when or if Bo is coming out of the coma, so Shawn must be going through Hell. Belle says he is and so is she, but that’s no excuse for her to treat Eric the way she did. Eric says he’s done it a few times too and he knows it’s only because she’s worried about him. Sloan then enters the Pub and greets them. Belle mentions Eric saying they are very happy together and congratulates her. Belle hugs Eric and then exits the Pub.

Jada tries calling Talia but she doesn’t answer.

Chanel and Talia continue kissing and begin to undress each other as they kiss onto the bed.

Jada thinks Talia turned her phone off and says they have to find her. They decide to go check the Brady Pub.

Chanel and Talia kiss in bed until Talia stops suddenly. Chanel asks if she came on too strong. Talia says it’s her and decides she can’t do this.

Abe doesn’t think Colin understands the magnitude of this situation. Colin asks Abe to enlighten him then. Abe says that Sloan has terrorized his family since coming to town, so what happened in the Bakery is just the latest in a string of incidents. Abe talks about the threatening messages. Paulina mentions just getting another one the other day. Colin asks if that was really a threat and says that “watch your back” could have just been a warning from someone looking out for her. Paulina questions what he said while Abe points out the text wasn’t in the papers so he asks how he could possibly know that. Paulina then questions who he is as Colin grabs the bakery’s rolling pin.

Nicole explains to Marlena that Sloan doesn’t like her any more than she likes Sloan and said she would keep her secret just to get under her skin. Marlena guesses she misunderstood. Marlena adds that she’s always in her office if she wants to talk. Nicole thanks her and says she doesn’t mind telling her as Eric told Sloan that she told him that she is in the early stages of menopause and Sloan wanted to rub it in her face. Marlena is sorry that Sloan upset her with something so personal and says maybe that shows them what kind of woman she is. Marlena tells Nicole that her offer stands in her office any time she wants to talk. Nicole thanks her and assures that she will remember that as Marlena heads to her office.

Sloan sits with Eric and asks if she’s hallucinating or if Belle was actually nice just now. Eric responds that Belle is under a lot of stress and is still trying to accept that they are together. Eric asks if she got her prescription filled. Sloan says she did. Eric asks if everything went okay at the hospital. Sloan asks what he means. Eric notes that she just seems a little off. Sloan starts to respond but Jada and Rafe enter the Pub. Eric greets them and asks what’s going on. They say it’s good that Sloan is there as they need to speak to her and it’s important.

Talia gets dressed as Chanel tells her it’s okay as she meant it when she said she doesn’t want her to do anything that she’s not ready for. Talia reveals it’s not that and says she has a confession to make.

Sloan questions Rafe and Jada wanting to talk to her. Eric asks if they came to hurl more accusations. Rafe and Jada clarify that it’s not about Sloan, but about her brother.

Colin knocks out Abe with the rolling pin, causing Paulina to rush to his side and try to wake him up. Paulina questions why he did that. Colin reminds her that he told her that her husband couldn’t save her as he then raises the rolling pin at her and she screams.

Chanel makes breakfast for Abe and Paulina. Paulina talks about still having what she made yesterday and before. Chanel complains that she needs a new hobby and admits it’s crazy to be making all this stuff for just them now that she’s unemployed. Paulina talks about the time it’s taking to find evidence against Sloan but encourages that Abe is pulling every string he can to get the health department off her back so that she can reopen Sweet Bits Bakery. Abe knows the process isn’t going as fast as they would like, but they have to go through the proper channels. Paulina complains about wanting the police to do their job. Paulina calls it unfair that Chanel is punished when she’s a victim too and remarks that it’s not like anyone at Sweet Bits tampered with the biscuits. Chanel agrees and states that she can’t believe Jada suspected her own sister of being involved.

Jada returns to Colin’s motel room but finds Rafe there instead, who says he’s there doing the same thing that she is.

Colin and Talia lay in bed together. Colin talks about wanting to stay like this forever and how the bed is way better than the awful motel. Talia knows no one saw them check in late last night since it was after midnight, but he’s staying in the middle of town which makes her worry. Colin gets a call from Sloan but ignores it. Colin tells Talia that this is the only option and says it’s not just because her sister showed up asking questions, but because his did too.

Sloan leaves a message for Colin, saying she needs to make sure he left town. Sloan knows he had other plans but assures this is for the best. Sloan says to call her when she gets this and that she loves him as she hangs up. Eric comes out of the shower and says he couldn’t help but overhear her conversation so he asks who she was talking to and what that was all about.

Anna joins Nicole in the living room of the DiMera Mansion. Anna asks how she’s feeling and if she has any morning sickness yet. Nicole says no but just a little panic stricken. Anna knows she has entrusted her secret with her and she’s very honored that she has earned her confidence, but she has a confession to make. Anna says it was an accident and that she didn’t mean to do it so she asks Nicole not to be upset with her. Nicole worries that Anna told EJ that she is pregnant. Anna assures that she didn’t tell EJ or anyone else that she’s pregnant but reveals that the chain broke on the necklace that she lent her. Nicole tells her not to worry about it. Anna assures that she will get it fixed and get it back to her. Anna remembers how upset she was when Susan broke her crystal heart. Anna then asks if Nicole is keeping this secret forever and points out that she’s going to be showing soon. Nicole doesn’t know and asks if it matters if she tells anyone if she can’t carry the baby to term but if she can, then it matters and that’s why she’s panicking. Nicole adds that she made an appointment with Kayla for a paternity test but that’s not for a couple of weeks. Anna knows she asked who Nicole hoped the father is and she said she didn’t care as long as the baby is healthy. Anna then guesses that Nicole hopes the baby is Eric’s.

Sloan tells Eric that she can explain. Eric says he didn’t mean to pry but he heard her say I love you. Sloan admits she was leaving a message for her brother. Eric notes that she hasn’t mentioned him in a long time and asks if everything is okay.

Talia questions Colin about his sister knowing he’s in town. Colin explains that Sloan overheard Jada talking to Rafe about some British guy at the motel and Sloan figured everything out. Colin adds that Sloan was pretty upset about being the prime suspect in all of the crimes against Chanel and Paulina. Colin tells her that Sloan’s boyfriend ate one of the biscuits and slept with another woman while under the influence. Colin states that Sloan was so upset that she told him that he didn’t get out of town and call the whole thing off, she would go to the police and tell them about his involvement. Talia realizes that is why Colin was packing last night. Colin admits he was going to cut his losses and take off, but then Talia came back and told him how hard Chanel had fallen for her and he realized he can’t leave now. Talia asks why not, arguing that Chanel’s bakery is shut down and he scared the hell out of Paulina with those threats. Talia feels it’s the perfect time to get out before they get caught.

Chanel says she’s so relieved that Talia has been cleared even though it made no sense for the police to suspect her in the first place. Abe notes that Talia had reasonable explanations for all of Jada’s questions. Paulina feels Talia was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, so Chanel doesn’t need to worry about her as she will be fine. Chanel is glad as she has plenty of other things to worry about. Melinda Trask then shows up at the door and says she’s here to see Abe. Abe questions the district attorney making house calls. Melinda says she has some rather delicate matters to discuss with him outside of City Hall. Melinda adds that it concerns Paulina and Chanel as well. Chanel asks what’s going on. Melinda thinks they will be on the same page for once. Melinda then announces that she needs Abe to fire Rafe Hernandez.

Jada asks if Rafe came to talk Colin away from her sister. Rafe says that and to warn him to leave town as he figured a stern talking to from the police commissioner might convince him to do the right thing, but he was gone when he got there and had checked out late last night. Jada notes that was right after she started asking questions. Rafe notes that he checked out using his same alias of Colin Firth and paid in cash. Jada calls him scum for how he treated her sister. Jada feels like it sounds like there must be something more to this. Rafe feels it could be something criminal.

Abe questions why the hell he would fire Rafe. Melinda argues that the Sweet Bits debacle is far from Rafe’s first abject failure. Melinda believes she speaks for the people of Salem when she says enough is enough. Abe reminds her that Rafe was also poisoned by the biscuits and has every incentive to solve this case which he has worked very hard to do. Abe adds that Sloan might be their lead suspect but there is not a shred of evidence, so they may never be able to prosecute this case. Melinda argues that she could with the proper support from the police department. Melinda says she needs someone in this job who will get things done and isn’t afraid to bend the rules to do so. Abe supposes she has someone in mind. Melinda reveals she wants Paulina to take over.

Talia tells Colin that they can go back to New York where she can start working as a doctor again and they can get their lives back. Colin says when this is all over, they will do that but they can’t pull the plug now. Colin adds that Sloan doesn’t know anything about Talia with Chanel, so they don’t have to abandon that part of the plan, especially when Talia is so close to breaking Chanel’s heart. Talia says she really hates to disappoint him or let him down, but she can’t take this anymore as she doesn’t want to do this.

Sloan tells Eric that everything is fine with her brother and she just likes to check in on him every so often since he’s had it kind of rough. Eric notes that she mentioned that before but didn’t go in to details. Sloan talks about not knowing much of his childhood because of the age difference and then when she went to high school, he moved away to London with their parents when her dad became a professor there. Sloan tells Eric that after their parents died, she thinks it was even worse for him as it really changed him. Sloan says she was totally derailed by it but his grief and anger completely took him over to the extent that he could barely even function. Sloan asks what Eric is thinking. Eric hates to even say it but asks if it’s possible that her brother could be the one going after Paulina and Chanel.

Nicole asks how Anna could say that she hopes the father is Eric when she’s trying not to go there. Nicole doesn’t want to fixate on whose baby she is carrying or who she wants it to be and that’s why she is panicking because she doesn’t know what to do, think, or expect. Nicole cries that her stupid drugged one night stand with Eric has really messed up her life. Nicole adds that what’s making her panic more is that she’s likely to miscarry because the odds of her are carrying a baby to term are practically zero. Anna brings up Holly but Nicole reveals that Chloe was her surrogate which Anna had no idea of. Nicole explains that she and Daniel had froze her embryos because she had already had two miscarriages. Nicole talks about how she didn’t want anything to do with EJ in the second one and both times, he was livid with her. Nicole thought she put all that pain behind her but now being pregnant has brought back all the possibility and fear. Anna encourages that medicine has come a long way in the last few years. Anna declares that what was impossible back then might not be impossible now and maybe she can have a successful, healthy pregnancy after all. Nicole says she’s read articles about advanced medicine and she knows even with high risk pregnancy, that there is a likelihood of a positive outcome more than a few years ago but she doesn’t want to get her hopes up or Eric’s. Anna asks why she’d be worried about getting Eric’s hopes up. Nicole explains that Eric always wanted to be a dad and first he lost McKenzie, then Jada was pregnant but got an abortion, and the only reason they aren’t together is because he blames her. Anna argues that was Jada’s choice. Nicole says if Eric is the father and she does have a miscarriage, she will feel like she’s taking yet another child away from him.

Sloan questions why Eric would even ask her that when he knows nothing about her brother. Eric points out that she just told him that he was more traumatized than she was by what happened and that his anger took over him completely in the aftermath of their deaths. Sloan admits maybe he has motive, but insists that he has nothing to do with those crimes since he’s nowhere near Salem.

Colin mocks Talia for saying she doesn’t want to do this anymore. Colin complains that she was on board with their plan when they came to Salem. Talia argues that it’s different now and that Chanel and Paulina are nice to her. Talia complains that she’s the one that has to look in Chanel’s eyes and kiss her and shower her with compliments and it just feels wrong. Colin asks how she thinks he felt when he found out his mother jumped to her death from a roof or when he found out that she was pushed by the same person who seduced his dad or when Paulina paid to have everything covered up so Chanel wouldn’t have to face the consequences. Colin argues that now the mayor is on her side trying to open up the Bakery again which means she’s going to get away with it again if Talia doesn’t help him. Colin thought she understood how important this was to him and why he has to do this to honor his parent’s memory and get justice for them. Colin declares that if he doesn’t, he won’t be able to live with himself. Colin thought Talia was on his side but remarks that obviously he was wrong.

Paulina questions Melinda wanting her to be the police commissioner. Melinda assumes Paulina is willing to do whatever it takes to put Sloan behind bars. Abe argues that Paulina cannot and will not go after that position. Abe adds that there would be blatant nepotism and he believes in her capabilities but he appointed Rafe as commissioner because he believes in him and that hasn’t changed. Melinda calls that a shame and predicts that him being soft on crime will get Abe creamed in the next election. Melinda then exits as Paulina remarks so much for her shiny new badge.

Jada tells Rafe that maybe Colin is gone or maybe he’s not, but she doesn’t want to take any chances of him finding his way back in to Talia’s life since the whole thing with the drugged up biscuits. Jada knows Talia gave all the right answers to their questions even if there were red flags. Jada says they kept questioning what her motive would be to sabotage the Bakery. Rafe asks if she’s thinking Colin is involved in this. Jada doesn’t know but she hopes not. Rafe bets he has a record and suggests checking the room for fingerprints as he has his kit in the car. Jada comments that it looks like the room has been cleaned. Rafe disagrees as he points to a desk in the room. Rafe notes that they haven’t even emptied the trash. Jada says in that case, they will not only pick up Colin’s prints but Talia’s as well and anyone else that has been in and out of the place. Rafe stops and finds a razor in the trash, betting they will get his prints off of that.

Talia tells Colin that she is on his side and he knows this. Talia adds that she hates how he had to suffer his mother’s murder and his dad dying, so she understands why he wants to get justice for them. Talia asks him not to be mad at her. Colin knows how difficult this has been for her to have to seduce someone she despises and she’s not even attracted to women while only having eyes for him. Colin calls her the best thing in his life and asks if she understands how much he needs her to do this for him. Talia says she does. Colin knows how much he has asked of her and says she’s been so supportive and understanding. Colin encourages that they are almost at the finish line at the end.

Abe jokes to Paulina that her current job pays a hell of a lot more than police commissioner. Paulina admits she admires his loyalty to Rafe. Abe says he’s loyal to him because he’s good at his job and complains about Melinda. Abe decides they won’t talk any more about Melinda as he’s going to put her out of his mind and go to the office. Paulina decides she will do the same. Chanel wishes she could do the same. Paulina knows how hard it is and how she wishes she could just go work at the Bakery. Abe encourages her that they want her to get back to running her wonderful business. Paulina assures that she will soon. Paulina suggests Chanel go shower and get ready for her day because they always feel better when dressed for success. Paulina promises the world will seem a lot brighter. Chanel reluctantly agrees to do so. Paulina knows how bleak it seems but says you never know what the day might bring.

Eric apologizes to Sloan if he upset her by suggesting that her brother could have something to do with the crimes against Paulina and Chanel. Sloan repeats that it doesn’t make sense since he’s not in Salem and nowhere close. Sloan then asks if Eric is going to get dressed today. Eric guesses that would be a good idea but Sloan says that’s not the answer she was hoping for. Sloan asks if he was a little jealous at first when he heard her say I love you on the phone. Eric claims he doesn’t get jealous but then admits maybe he was a bit as they start kissing and Eric drops his towel.

Nicole cries to Anna that she feels so alone which is ironic since she’s with child, so she’s not really alone at all. Anna encourages that she has her too. Nicole says she’s very thankful but complains that what is supposed to make her happy and be a blessing and a miracle is just making her sad, confused, and sleepy. Anna calls that very normal in the first trimester. Nicole wants coffee but Anna says she has to start taking care of herself and the baby which means no caffeine or alcohol and she has to start taking pre-natal vitamins as soon as possible. Anna instructs Nicole to call Kayla and get a prescription for those vitamins which she agrees to do. Anna knows it’s difficult for her but encourages that EJ is crazy about her, so if the baby is his, he will take care of them both 100%. Anna adds that Eric has always wanted to be a dad, so no matter what the complications are, he’ll be thrilled and also be there for them every step of the way. Anna declares that no matter what, this baby is going to bring a whole lot of joy to whomever as they hug. Nicole jokes that she’s sugarcoating that but she’s grateful as Anna definitely lifted her spirits as only she can. Anna promises that things are going to look up.

Jada and Rafe go to the police station to wait on the fingerprints from the motel. Rafe gets the results in on his laptop but finds out Colin doesn’t have a record after all.

Talia gets dressed and Colin tells her that she looks gorgeous as always. Talia asks what he will be doing while she’s with Chanel. Colin says he will stay here and keep the bed warm, waiting to celebrate her success. Talia questions that being it since he said that breaking Chanel’s heart wouldn’t be enough and would only be the beginning of him getting justice. Colin declares that their sisters kind of blew that plan to Hell. Colin adds that he told Sloan that he was done and would drop the plan and he’s a man of his word. Colin kisses Talia and wishes her luck. Colin tells her that he loves her. Talia says she loves him too and then exits.

Paulina tells Abe that she doesn’t know how much more of this Chanel can take. Abe then gets a call. Abe says that’s great and he’ll be right there. Abe thanks them and hangs up. Abe announces pressure from the mayor’s office has finally paid with results as the health inspector has agreed to meet him at the Bakery right now for a new inspection and if everything goes as expected, he will consider reopening on a conditional basis. Paulina excitedly calls that wonderful and says Chanel will be thrilled. Abe adds that he wants Paulina too as the owner of the building. Paulina thinks Chanel should be there too but then decides that she doesn’t want to get her hopes up, so they should wait until they’re sure it’s good news to tell her. Abe and Paulina then exit together.

Eric and Sloan lay in bed after having sex. Sloan’s alarm goes off to remind her to take her birth control pill. Sloan takes it and comments that she will have to get it refilled. Sloan then tells Eric that she can’t help but wonder if he and Nicole used protection on the night that they were together. Eric tells her that she doesn’t have to worry because there’s no way Nicole is pregnant. Eric then informs Sloan that Nicole just found out she’s going through early menopause which relieves Sloan as she calls her that poor old thing.

Anna asks Nicole if she should stay with her. Nicole assures that she’s fine and that Anna has cheered her up. Anna hopes so because she has a knack for putting her foot in it sometimes as she did a few times here by trying to pressure her in to telling her who she hopes the father of the baby is which is not what she needs to worry about right now. Nicole knows she was trying to help her figure things out. Anna jokes that she was just being nosey. Nicole understands she was just interested. Anna thanks her for being kind and understanding. Anna asks if she’s sure it’s okay for her to leave her which she assures. Anna says she is praying for her and the baby. Anna adds that she has seen what a wonderful mother she is to Holly, so she knows the baby is going to be very lucky no matter what. Nicole thanks her as Anna then exits.

Talia goes to see Chanel and asks if it’s a bad time since she didn’t call first. Chanel says she has nothing but time and Abe and Paulina just left for the office, so she is all by herself but not anymore as she invites Talia in. Chanel brings up Paulina telling her that she never knows what the day might bring and she’s glad she listened, because it brought Talia.

Jada doesn’t know whether to be relieved that Colin is clean or disappointed that they hit a dead end. Rafe says he was sure that Colin would come back with a list of priors and notes that he doesn’t know of any previous jurisdiction. Jada notes that they’d be there all year if they ran them through every one. Jada adds that they don’t even know if there’s been a crime here. Rafe then remembers that Colin is British and says it looks like they have a match.

Paulina and Abe go to the Bakery. Paulina talks about how cheerful the place used to be and now she hates to see it so empty. Abe hopes it won’t be for long. The “health inspector” that arrives turns out to be Colin pretending to be from the health department.

Anna runs in to Eric outside of the Brady Pub and says it’s nice to see him again. Anna mentions just buying wine from the liquor store and rambles on about it. Eric notes that she seems a bit nervous. Anna claims she’s very calm and tells him to have a wonderful day as she hurries on.

Nicole goes to the hospital and bumps in to Sloan. Sloan picks up what Nicole dropped and sees they are pre-natal vitamins.

Days of Our Lives Update

Kristen is in the prison waiting room with an old photo of her, Brady, and Rachel. Megan Hathaway comes by from working in the mail room. Megan talks about how it keeps her connected to the outside world. Kristen doubts that there is anything for her but Megan reveals a letter that she says looks like it is from Rachel. Kristen demands the letter and grabs it from her. Kristen opens the letter. Megan asks what her niece has to say. Kristen reads the letter, saying she has the most amazing news that Brady and Chloe are definitely not getting back together and she knows for sure because she heard Brady tell John and Marlena that Chloe just moved in with Xander which excites Kristen.

Chloe and Xander rush in to the living room of their apartment after hearing glass break and believe someone is breaking in, but it turns out that a poster just fell off of the wall and broke.

John brings strawberries and cream to Marlena at home and they kiss.

In Athens, Greece, Kate tells Roman how much she missed him. Roman says no more looking back as they are here now together which he calls a miracle. Kate agrees and says even when she got away from Megan, she didn’t think she would make it out alive and back to Roman, but here she is, no thanks to Dimitri.

Harris questions Dimitri saying he’s holding another hostage. Harris argues that they searched every inch of the ship and only found him, Kate, and his henchmen so there’s nobody else here. Dimitri then asks who said anything about his hostage being on the ship. Harris argues that it doesn’t make any sense since Kate is all the leverage he needed and he could’ve ransomed her for a fortune. Dimitri remarks that it’s not always about money but he wouldn’t expect him to understand that. Dimitri says he was holding on to Kate until he had his ducks in a row and then right before they interrupted, he received the phone call that he was expecting. Harris asks who the mystery hostage is. Dimitri says all in due time, but for now he should be more worried about what he wants in exchange. Harris guesses he wants full immunity. Dimitri says that’s for starters, but he’s not stopping there.

Roman hopes Dimitri didn’t hurt Kate. Kate says it wasn’t pleasant being his guest, but it’s in the past and the more time he is in her mind, the more he wins. Kate asks about Bo since Steve said he’s in a coma. Roman confirms they are not sure when or if he will come out of it. Kate says she’s so sorry. Roman adds that Hope is moving Bo to a long term care facility. Kate asks how the family is handling that. Roman says they are doing their best and mentions that Kayla is back home in Salem while Ciara is on her way back home to Ben and their baby. Roman adds that he saw Shawn and he’s still a wreck because he blames himself. Roman notes that they all thought Bo was dangerous and there was a time that they thought Bo had shot and killed Kate. Roman asks how Kate got through to him. Kate says she reminded him of his family and Hope, but jokes that he didn’t snap out of it until she called him Megan’s lapdog. Roman acknowledges that Bo hated taking orders from anyone.

Kristen continues reading Rachel’s letter as she says that she hates seeing Brady so sad now that he broke up with Chloe because he’s really lonely, but she’s also glad that he’s not with Chloe anymore because she hates her which makes Kristen laugh.

John and Marlena kiss until Brady comes in. They tell him it’s okay as it’s his home too but Brady says not for much longer as he feels he and Rachel have imposed on them. Marlena insists that they love having them here. Brady says it will be a little longer since he hasn’t found a place yet but he has some leads. Marlena understands he feels he needs to do that but says they will miss having him around. Brady assures he won’t be far and notes that he actually thought he’d be across the street but Xander beat him to the perfect apartment and then he found out that Chloe is moving in with him, which shocks John and Marlena. Marlena tells Brady that she’s so sorry. John argues that Brady has pulled all the stops to try and fix things with Chloe, so he suggests that he try to forgive himself and move on. Brady responds that they are both trying, but he really hates the idea of Chloe moving in with Xander.

Xander questions why the poster would suddenly fall. Chloe blames Xander for not hanging it right. Xander argues that it was perfectly secure but then another picture falls off the wall. Chloe jokes about the irony but Xander says he’s not finding it funny and he’s starting to think the place might be haunted.

Brady tells John and Marlena that he can’t think of someone worse than Xander for Chloe to end up with. Marlena argues that it doesn’t mean she’s going to fall for him but Brady says it doesn’t mean she won’t either since not long ago, she couldn’t stand to look at Xander and now suddenly she is moving in with him. Brady adds that he can’t say Chloe is too smart to fall for him since Sarah did too. Brady remarks that Xander is not only a loser, but he’s dangerous too. John remembers Xander shooting Brady and Marlena. Brady doesn’t think Xander should get a pass just because they survived and points out that not everyone was as lucky.

Chloe questions Xander thinking the place is haunted or believing in ghosts. Xander says he’s from Scotland which he calls haunted as well. Chloe asks who he thinks is haunting him. Xander worries that it’s Susan Banks.

Megan tells Kristen to enjoy her night and continues on with the mail. Kristen continues reading the letter as Rachel says she would give more details but Brady changed the subject and they all started talking about Bo Brady instead. Megan then rushes back and asks what about Bo. Kristen thought she wasn’t interested but Megan demands to know what she said about Bo. Kristen reads that Rachel said everyone is upset because Hope had broken through to Bo and right when it looked like he was going to be his old self, Shawn shot him. Megan begins to panic.

Dimitri tells Harris that some people pray to the Lord to get what they want, but he hasn’t had much luck in that regard so he prefers to always be prepared. Dimitri informs Harris that he’s not the only one being persecuted by the powers to be, so he is not seeking one but two immunity grants, and warns that if he does not get them, his second hostage will soon have an appointment at the pearly gates.

Roman brings Kate back to their hotel room and says everyone was glad to see her. Kate jokes that Maggie might have been disappointed but Roman assures Maggie would never wish harm on anyone. Kate jokes about sleeping in a room that doesn’t smell like fish or make her sea sick. Roman acknowledges that she’s been to Hell and back, so she has a lot of pampering ahead of her and he’s not sure where to start. Roman suggests a bubble bath or a spa treatment. Kate says that Dimitri wanted to wine and dine her so he let her take a break and eat. Roman jokes that he’s running out of ideas if she doesn’t need to eat or the spa. Kate responds that she does have something important to ask of him. Kate then asks Roman to put her ring back on her finger.

Chloe asks Xander if he’s joking or if he actually thinks Susan Banks is haunting him. Xander reveals that he’s been expecting it for a while since he was responsible for Susan’s death. Chloe relates to feeling responsible for someone losing their life and never getting over it. Xander says she should get over it since El Fideo was a monster but Susan was sweet and died a horrible death that’s on him. Chloe says she’s not defending what he did but says at some point he has to move on with his life and learn from it. Xander says he’s been trying so hard to learn from his mistakes and not repeat them, but somehow, trouble always seems to find him or he finds it. Xander says he gets desperate for money and an opportunity arises, then he’s deep in something illegal that spirals out of control until something very bad happens like Susan Banks’ fiery death in the car crash. Chloe reminds him that Ava Vitali was behind the wheel. Xander complains that Susan wouldn’t have been in the car if he hadn’t kidnapped her or been weak and given in to Ava’s money. Xander adds that Susan would still be alive and he’d still be married to Sarah. Xander decides maybe the apartment isn’t haunted, but he is.

Marlena tells Brady that she would never condone Xander’s actions but points out that he wasn’t responsible for Susan’s death as it was Ava that drove her off the cliff. Brady argues that Xander started the whole series of events by kidnapping Susan in the first place. Brady calls that just the latest in his long list of crimes, bringing up how Xander switched Rachel at birth and complains that he never takes responsibility for these things. John remarks that Xander has that in common with his uncle Victor. Brady says he keeps thinking about Chloe being under the same roof as Xander and worries about when his next scheme is going to be and how he’s going to drag Chloe in to it. Brady complains that it’s all Xander does and declares that he belongs in prison.

Megan cries that this is an evil twist of fate as she’s in prison and asks how Bo is. Kristen informs her that Bo is in a coma and tries to encourage that it’s good news. Kristen talks about how she’s recovered from comas. Megan talks about everything she went through to save Bo and keeping him alive for all those years. Megan breaks down crying as Kristen tries to tell her it’s okay. Megan cries that Bo would have loved her again and she was so close. Kristen points out that all they have is a second hand account from a child eavesdropping and the mail takes forever, so maybe Bo is alright now. Megan argues that Bo is the whole reason that she came up with a plan to get herself out of here in the first place. Kristen asks if she means get them out then asks where they stand.

Harris tells Dimitri that he’s had enough of the games and questions who he’s trying to help with this co-immunity deal. Dimitri questions Harris not figuring it out after all the clues and says he certainly knows her well. Dimitri reveals that it’s Megan Hathaway.

Brady apologizes to Marlena and John for interrupting their romantic moment and then putting all his baggage on them. John assures they are always here to listen. Brady says he’s done and he’s going to think about the good things he has in his life. Brady says they are at the top of his list. Marlena says they love him. Brady thanks them for always being there for him. They say goodnight as Brady heads to his room. John tells Marlena that when it comes to love, Brady has had nothing but bad luck. Marlena hopes that Kristen doesn’t find out that Chloe is out of the picture or else she’ll break out of jail and be right back in Brady’s orbit.

Megan complains that the love of her life is in a coma and Kristen can only think about herself. Kristen points out that Megan is the one who brought up her mystery plan. Megan says it’s not a mystery to her. Kristen asks what the plan is then, reminding her that she kept up her end of not telling anyone about Bo. Megan asks who cares since she ended up blabbing it herself to Andrew Donovan anyway. Kristen shouts that’s not her problem and complains that Megan promised her freedom. Megan assures that she will have it as her plan is very much in the works and they simply needed to get things organized and sorted out. Kristen questions who is getting things organized and sorted out. Kristen demands to know right now who she has on the outside. Megan asks why that matters. Kristen says she needs to know that it’s real. Megan reveals that it’s Dimitri Von Leuschner. Kristen recalls him as the guy who tried to blow up the world with the Alamanian Peacock.

Dimitri reminds Harris that he was doing Megan’s bidding while Harris argues that he was brainwashed. Dimitri calls that a convenient excuse for killing people in pursuit of the prisms. Harris says he’s ashamed of what he did. Dimitri brings up Harris hesitating when he had Hope in his crosshairs or if true love reared it’s head. Harris calls that a sore subject. Dimitri remarks that Harris has terrible taste in women. Harris states that Megan is in prison and that’s where she is staying. Dimitri asks if he’s so sure about that. Dimitri warns that he might not have Kate to get what he wants, but he still has another ace up his sleeve.

Roman questions Kate taking her rings off. Kate explains that she was desperate and made a deal with one of Dimitri’s henchmen to give her rings for a phone call to Roman, but the call didn’t go through. Kate adds that when Chad and the others rescued her, she was not leaving the boat without her rings. Roman is surprised she carried the rings around the whole time. Kate says she was going to put them back on but she stopped because Roman put them on first, so she wanted him to do it again for the last time. Roman says it would be his honor. Roman puts the rings on her finger and kisses her.

Chloe brings Xander tea and hopes it will help him get back to sleep. Xander thanks her and apologizes if he freaked her out earlier. Xander decides Chloe was right that he just didn’t hang the pictures right and he nor the apartment are being haunted by the ghost of Susan Banks. Chloe is glad he’s calmed down but she’s sorry that he’s so tortured by what happened to Susan. Xander thanks her and hopes she doesn’t regret sharing the place with him. Chloe jokes that she can relate to him. They get close but Chloe says they shouldn’t make a habit of ending up like this in the middle of the night together. They each say they need to get to their beds but they end up leaning in close.

Kate tells Roman that she has a suggestion of what they can do in the hotel room as she then kisses him.

John and Marlena kiss until John’s phone rings with a call from his son Paul. John wonders why he’s calling so late as he answers the call.

Kristen tells Megan that she met Dimitri once in Amsterdam and he was under another name while fooling Billie. Megan brings up Kristen losing a sapphire necklace and tells her that Dimitri told her everything. Kristen questions what exactly her connection is to Dimitri. Kristen asks if Dimitri filled in when Megan couldn’t get Bo to love her. Megan remarks that she has no idea what she’s talking about and calls her so judgmental. Megan then reveals that Dimitri is Kristen’s nephew!

Harris tells Dimitri that he’s going to need a whole deck of aces if he wants immunity for he and Megan and that still might not be enough. Harris brings up Dimitri threatening the world in Zurick and calls it a deranged plan. Harris adds that Megan is the only person that he knows that’s more deranged than he is, so the ISA will never let either of them walk out. Dimitri assures that the ISA won’t stand in his way as they will insist that he is granted his freedom.

Chloe and Xander almost kiss but back away. Chloe hopes the tea helped and Xander thanks her for that. Xander apologizes for the nonsense about the pictures falling. They tell each other to have a good night and they head to their rooms.

Roman and Kate lay in bed together. Roman comments that he assumed he would never see her rings again as he assumed they were in the urn with her ashes. Kate asks what he did with the urn of ashes. Roman explains that he had it on the end of the bar at the Pub because it made him feel close to her. Kate compares it to Anna DiMera. Roman says he wasn’t carrying it all around town. Kate asks if he was talking to the ashes. Roman says the weird part is, Kate talked to him too and says he heard her voice, asking him to help her. Roman asks if she thinks he’s crazy. Kate admits it sounds weird, but it seems somewhat familiar as if she was reaching out to him while Megan had them on the deep freeze. Kate wonders if that’s possible. Roman says he will never deny their connection and all that matters is that she’s here in his arms for real. Kate says it doesn’t seem real and seems like a dream. Roman says if it is a dream, he never wants to wake up as they continue kissing.

Harris tells Dimitri to keep dreaming and questions why the ISA would want him to be free. Dimitri says because Shane Donovan runs the organization and assures that Shane will be very eager to give him what he wants. Dimitri declares that Shane will personally see to it that he and Megan are both set free.

Kristen doesn’t understand calling Dimitri her nephew. Megan then reveals that Dimitri is her son.

John thanks Paul for calling and says he’s on top of it and will keep him posted as they hang up. Marlena asks what’s going on as he sounds worried. John informs her that Paul wants him to reach out to Shane because Andrew Donovan is missing and apparently no one has heard from him for quite some time…

Harris questions why the hell Shane Donovan would give Dimitri what he wants. Dimitri responds that he won’t have a choice if he ever wants to see his offspring again. Harris then realizes that Dimitri’s mystery hostage is Shane’s son, Andrew.

Andrew is tied up and blindfolded somewhere in a dark room.

Days of Our Lives Update

After Maggie fires Alex over the phone, Alex asks for a chance to explain but she hangs up on him. Alex informs Stephanie that Maggie told him there was nothing more to talk about and reveals that she fired him which shocks her.

Kayla and Belle eat together at the Brady Pub. They talk about Seth Burns trying to fire Kayla while she was held captive. Kayla feels he was disappointed that she wasn’t dead after all. Belle mentions not hearing from Steve yet. Kayla assures that she won’t hear from Steve until he and Chad find Kate.

The guard on the ship holds his gun on Steve and warns that the penalty for boarding the ship without permission is death.

Harris searches the ship with his gun raised but is caught by one of the guards, who pulls his gun and warns that Harris is going to end up hanging on the wall.

Kate asks if Dimitri doesn’t want immunity for his crimes. Dimitri assures that he does but he also wants something else and he needs everything in place in order for him to achieve his goal. Kate hopes he’s not going after the Peacock again. Dimitri says no and what he’s after is much more personal. Chad then bursts in with his gun raised on Dimitri, surprising Kate. Chad says thank God she’s alright. Kate tries to run to Chad but Dimitri grabs her and holds her at gunpoint. Dimitri warns Chad that this is premature because he and Kate are on a date and Chad’s not invited. Chad tells Dimitri that he’s not going anywhere. Dimitri doesn’t think Chad thought this through and questions how Chad’s going to shoot him without shooting Kate, remarking that he doesn’t think Chad is that good of a shot. Dimitri calls Chad another one of Stefano’s bastard children, commenting that he has Stefano’s arrogance but not his cunning. Dimitri states that Chad overplayed his hand by bursting in with his pistol. Dimitri warns that now neither Kate or Chad are getting off the boat alive.

Harris asks the guard if they can talk about this. He says he can talk to the boss and orders Harris to drop his gun and start walking. Harris drops the gun but then fights the guard off and beats him down.

Steve calls the guard kind of dumb while the guard warns that Steve will be kind of dead. Steve asks if he thinks he just randomly got on the boat. Steve explains that the boat is part of a global search from the ISA, Interpol, and the FBI so they all know where he is which means he has no chance of getting away. The guard responds that Steve has no chance of staying alive. Steve warns him that if he kills an ISA agent, the entire agency will be devoted to making him pay and putting him in the deepest, darkest hole. Steve adds that if he kills him, the ISA will hurt him so bad that he will be begging them to kill him.

Stephanie tells Alex that she loves Maggie, but she should’ve given him a chance to explain. Alex asks why since she was right that he blew the deal. Stephanie disagrees and argues that Yuri just got cold feet which could only be temporary since he said he was going to sleep on it. Alex says Stephanie didn’t hear Maggie’s voice and that she wasn’t angry, just sad. Alex adds that she doesn’t know what Maggie has put up with from him. Alex talks about moving in to Maggie’s home and treating like a frat house, being arrogant and rude but Maggie always saw the good in everybody when he made it damn near impossible. Alex says that what Maggie thinks of him is one of the main reasons he’s trying to change, so it kills him to let her down. Stephanie doesn’t think that he did and encourages that he was doing everything he could to save the deal. Alex says he begged Maggie to put him in charge and as soon as she did, he disobeyed her orders. Stephanie argues that he was blinded by Yuri’s misgivings and was trying to make the best of it. Stephanie declares that she got Seth Burns to unfire Kayla, so she’s going to call Maggie now and work the same magic with her. Stephanie takes her phone and walks away to make the call.

Kayla tells Belle that she would think after all these years, she’d be used to not hearing from Steve. Belle suggests trying to call Harris Michaels but Kayla thinks he would be just as impossible to get a hold of. Belle asks how Roman is. Kayla says his façade doesn’t crack but he’s been through so much from scattering Kate’s ashes in Ireland to finding out that she’s alive but in danger and then finding out that Bo is alive, but he’s not the Bo they remember and now Bo is in a coma. Belle tells Kayla that she’s really worried about Shawn. Kayla assures that Shawn did what he had to do as he thought Bo was going to shoot Hope. Belle worries that if Bo doesn’t make it, Shawn will blame himself for the rest of his life for killing his own dad.

Shawn throws things in frustration in the hospital waiting room until Roman walks in and asks what’s going on. Shawn tells him that there’s no change with Bo as he’s still in a coma and nothing indicates that he’s ever going to come out of it. Roman encourages him to keep the faith. Shawn complains that it won’t change anything as he shot his father. Roman tells Shawn that Hope needs him. Roman suggests they take a walk and get some air but Shawn says that won’t change anything either. Shawn declares that Victor was right that this is his fault.

Chad tells Dimitri that they are at a standoff. Chad decides to put his gun down and asks how to resolve this. Dimitri responds that he just did by putting his gun down and now he shoots him. Chad points out that Dimitri wouldn’t profit much from that and asks if he has any idea how much the other DiMeras would pay for his safe return. Dimitri admits that’s something to consider but decides he’d still like to kill them both.

The guard tells Steve that he will take his chances with the ISA and raises his gun towards him.

Chad hears the gunshot and tells Dimitri that he wasn’t stupid enough to come alone as he has a host of ISA agents, a Black Patch investigator, and a Navy SEAL. Dimitri guesses that’s Steve and Harris as he reveals that they have been expecting them which is why everyone on the ship is armed and has standing orders to shoot to kill.

Harris fired the shot that took out the guard to save Steve. Steve argues that he had the situation under control. Steve questions if Harris had to fire his weapon and let everyone on board know that they are here. Harris comments on Steve not thanking him for saving his ass. Steve then begrudgingly thanks him and they continue to search for Kate.

Stephanie finishes her call and returns to Alex. She informs him that she talked to Maggie and told her that she was in the room for the meeting but Maggie said that if she didn’t keep Alex in line, then Titan might be in the market for a new PR firm. Alex can’t believe she called to talk Maggie out of firing him and she instead threatened to fire her. Stephanie assures that she’ll be fine but she’s so sorry as she doesn’t think Maggie is going to give him his job back any time soon since she seemed pretty upset. Stephanie adds that there must be something else they can do. Alex responds that they can get drunk.

Belle tells Kayla that nobody blames Shawn given all the things Bo had done and of course he was justified in thinking Hope was going to be next, but Shawn doesn’t see it that way and there’s no reasoning with him. Belle adds that Shawn just sounds so bleak. Kayla encourages that she’s been there many times and they have to hold on to the fact that Hope and Roman are there for him and they will see him through this. Kayla assures that Hope will never lose track of Shawn, so they just have to hang in there as they have no choice.

Roman questions Shawn about Victor blaming him for trying to save his mother’s life. Roman asks who the hell he is to pass judgment. Roman declares that he’s going to rip Victor a new one but Shawn stops him and says it’s bad enough in there as they can barely keep it together as it is. Roman complains that he can’t get away with this while Shawn argues that all he did was tell the truth since he is the one who shot Bo. Roman argues that he thought his dad was going to kill his mom. Shawn says that he was wrong and it’s not like he just shot Bo in the leg to disarm him or something. Shawn complains that Bo is lying in that bed and may never come out of it as Roman hugs him. Shawn talks about how he’s missed his father so much and he’s a good man. Roman points out that he kidnapped Kayla and they thought he killed Kate. Shawn responds that he didn’t and that proves he made the wrong call.

Harris and Steve continue searching the ship and come across the first guard that Harris took out. Harris remarks that it’s been a busy night.

Dimitri remarks that he’s sure Chad and Kate have spots in the DiMera Crypt but they are going to have to settle for burial at sea. Harris and Steve then burst in with their guns. Dimitri remarks that the calvary has finally arrived but he still has a gun pointed at Kate. Harris and Steve rush Dimitri and overpower him while Kate rushes to safety with Chad. Chad hugs Kate, thanking God that she’s okay. Kate thanks him for that. Harris says he will call the coast guard to come pick up Dimitri. Kate questions who he is. Chad introduces her to Commander Michaels. Kate greets him and praises his timing. Kate greets Steve and asks how things are. Steve says things are getting better for the both of them. Harris decides he will stay and babysit Dimitri while Chad and Steve get Kate back to the mainland as he’s sure she can’t wait to get off the boat. Kate says she won’t argue with that and calls for drinks on her as soon as they are on dry land.

Alex tells Stephanie that he doesn’t think he likes becoming a better person and he may be ready to backslide already. Alex says he just feels bad about everything, that Maggie and Victor don’t trust him, that he’s letting Maggie down, and that she has to worry about taking care of Titan and Victor. Alex declares that he feels bad that Stephanie is in trouble with Maggie now too and he just hates feeling bad. Alex argues that things were so much more simple when he was just shallow and self-absorbed as he was so good at it until he met her. Alex jokes that Stephanie really screwed him up. Alex adds that one thing he’s working on with Marlena is giving up meaningless sex, but before he met Stephanie, he didn’t know he was having meaningless sex as he thought it was great, not meaningless, but then he saw how Stephanie looked at him and started looking at himself the same way. Alex remarks that it’s not her fault that she’s out of his league but for a moment, he really thought he had a shot with her and then he blew it like he blows everything.

Chad, Steve, and Kate prepare to leave the ship. Kate declares that she cannot leave until she finds her wedding ring. Chad argues that they need to get out of here while Kate insists that won’t leave the ring because Roman gave it to her. Steve notes that he knows where to find the guy who took it so they head there.

Belle informs Kayla that EJ offered her the DiMera Jet to take to Greece but she said no because she’s working a case, but maybe she could get it postponed. Belle worries that even if she went, that Shawn would keep her a million miles away even if she was by his side. Kayla relates to feeling helpless with her brothers. Kayla encourages that Shawn just needs time to heal and then he will open up to her and he will need her so much.

Shawn asks Roman if there’s any news on Kate. Roman informs him that Steve and Chad are trying to track her down along with Harris Michaels. Roman remains unsure about Harris. Shawn points out that Harris did save Chad and Stephanie from Thomas Banks. Shawn wishes there was more he could do but doesn’t think he’d be of much help. Roman encourages that Shawn’s place is here with his parents. Roman adds that when Bo wakes up, he’s going to tell him that he made an impossible choice to protect someone he loves and that’s exactly what Bo would have done. Roman asks if Shawn thinks he can go back in to see Bo, which he agrees to do. Shawn tells Roman that he hopes they find Kate soon as he then exits.

Steve brings Kate and Chad to where the guard was. The guard emerges with a second gun and pulls it on them.

Dimitri asks Harris if he thinks he has finally redeemed himself and if he assumes that his heroics act tonight have somehow atoned for all of his sins. Harris remarks that he knew they should’ve gagged him. Dimitri questions if one tiny good deed outweighs all of the bad. Dimitri asks if that’s why Harris wanted to stay behind and personally hand him to the ISA. Harris responds that maybe he just wanted to see the look on his face when they drag him kicking and screaming to one of those black sites. Dimitri asks if he really thinks that will happen.

Belle notes that it’s getting late while Kayla suggests she give Shawn a call so that he knows she’s thinking of him. Belle agrees to do so and thanks Kayla for listening as they hug. Belle adds that she will pray for Steve and Chad to bring Kate home safe.

Alex assures Stephanie that he knows that she is with Chad now and he respects that while noting that he still hates it. Alex admits there are times that it’s hard to see the point in changing when you don’t get what you want. Alex remarks that he was a great stud but a D- nice guy. Stephanie encourages that therapy and trying to change takes a lot of courage. Stephanie says it’s been a bad day but it’s just one day and the stuff with Maggie was just a temporary setback. Stephanie goes over how many CEOs that Victor has gone through and at the end of the day, it’s just a job. Stephanie calls therapy a very big deal and encourages Alex not to give up after just one bad day. Stephanie adds that he’s only just started and she already thinks this version of him is way better. Alex offers her another drink which she accepts. Stephanie heads to the ladies room first while Alex says he will order some appetizers as he’s getting hungry. Stephanie leaves her phone behind on the bar and it rings with a call from Chad. Alex answers the call and asks Chad what’s up. Chad then questions why Alex is answering Stephanie’s phone.

Steve returns to the hospital waiting room with his arm in a sling. Roman questions what he’s doing here, points out that he’s hurt and asks about what happened with Kate. Kate then enters the room and reveals they found her as she and Roman embrace.

Belle stands outside the Pub and decides to call Shawn, who is having a drink at the hotel in Greece. Shawn sees the call but ignores it. Belle leaves a message, saying she just wanted to tell him that she was thinking of him and to call whenever as she loves him.

Alex informs Chad that Stephanie is in the ladies room and he knew she wouldn’t want to miss his call, so he picked it up. Chad thanks him. Alex explains that they had a client meeting at the Bistro and are just finishing up, but notes that Stephanie is really worried about him and asks if everything is okay over there. Stephanie comes back from the ladies room so Alex hands her the phone and tells her that it’s Chad and that he only picked up because he knew she wouldn’t want to miss it. Stephanie takes the phone and asks if Chad is alright. He says he’s fine. Stephanie tells Alex to just call her tomorrow. Alex says he will and thanks her for being in his corner tonight as he then exits. Chad questions Stephanie having drinks with Alex. Stephanie calls it Titan business and asks Chad if he has any news about what’s going on. Chad informs her that he, Steve, and Harris found Kate and everything is fine. Stephanie calls that wonderful. Chad says the best thing is that Kate is still herself and says he’ll tell her the whole story when he gets back. Chad encourages Stephanie that Steve is fine and he’s going to call her when he gets done but reveals that he got shot. Chad promises that he’s fine as the bullet just grazed him and the hospital already released him. Stephanie says she believes him and asks if this means they are all coming home now. Chad is not sure about everyone else but assures that he’s on the first flight back to Salem.

Steve calls Kayla and informs her that he got shot, but promises that it’s just a scratch and that it was worth it to see the look on Roman’s face when he saw Kate. Kayla asks if Kate is okay. Steve says she’s better than okay since she’s with Roman now.

Kate finishes a call with her son Austin, assuring that she is fine and will call everyone else in the morning. Kate says she loves him and hangs up. Kate tells Roman that Austin will tell everyone else for her and says to tell Roman that he’s happy for him. Roman asks if she’s sure she is fine. Kate confirms that the doctor just said she needs rest. Kate talks about not being afraid of Megan or Dimitri the whole time, but she was terrified of losing Roman. Roman says she’ll never have to worry about that because he is never going to let her out of his sight again.

Harris tells Dimitri that the ISA is going to dump his ass in a black hole where no one has to see or hear from him ever again. Harris adds that Dimitri lost his leverage when Steve and Chad took Kate home as a hostage situation only works when there actually is a hostage. Dimitri then reveals that Kate was not his only hostage…
