Harris woke up next to Stephanie. He woke up filled with regret over what they did. Stephanie woke up too and wondered what happened. He promised to tell her what happened later. She snuck out of the pub, but Leo saw her leaving. He became suspicious of her sneaking out of the pub. He saw Harris walk out of the pub too. Roman and Marlena talked about Eric and Sloan at the pub. They wondered if she would be too busy to take care of their grandchild. Sloan and Eric woke up to Jude crying. She offered to take care of him, so she took him out for a walk. While she was in the square, Leo called her and went off because Dimitri was sent to maximum prison. She said there was nothing she could do about it. He demanded money and power. Sloan wanted more time to figure things out. Leo threatened to expose her secret. She begged him not to tell it. After their conversation, she realized she didn’t have her wallet. She went back to Sweet Bits to get it. When she got back, she realized Jude and the stroller were gone. Sloan called for help and said someone stole her baby. Eric arrived at the square. Rafe and Harris also showed up at the square. They wanted to get a statement from Sloan. She explained what happened. Rafe wondered if Sloan knew who would have taken him. She didn’t know who did it. Eric told Rafe that Nicole took a baby once. He hated the idea that she could have taken him. Rafe decided to go to the DiMera mansion to talk to her. Eric called Marlena and told her that his baby was kidnapped.

At the station, Sloan blamed herself for what happened to Jude. Marlena assured her that it wasn’t her fault. She thought it was important that they find the baby. Leo showed up at the station with the stroller. Sloan accused Leo of taking the baby, but he denied doing it. He said he found the stroller in the alley without the baby in it. Leo said she was his lawyer and got him out of jail. He had no reason to do it. Leo believed he owed her everything. When they were alone, Sloan confronted Leo about taking her child. Leo said he was innocent. He told her that if she thought that, she would have told the police. She would have told the police what his motive would be for taking Jude. He said she wouldn’t do it because everyone would know the truth. Leo could tell her where the baby was, but he refused to do it. He told her the time was ticking. EJ received an alert that a baby was missing. He tried to call Nicole, but she didn’t answer. He was about to call her again when Rafe arrived. He wanted to talk to him about Sloan and Eric’s baby being kidnapped. EJ assured him that Nicole didn’t kidnap the baby. He got upset when Rafe assumed she did it. EJ tried to locate Nicole’s phone, but it was still in the house. Rafe noticed her car was parked outside. He realized the square was near the lake. EJ thought his wife was kidnapped too. He demanded that Rafe find her. Later, Rafe went back to the station. He updated Harris about what happened at the mansion. Sloan realized it was time to confess. Nicole found EJ in the tunnels with Jude. She apologized to EJ for what she did.

Theresa went to the park to get rid of the hoodie she wore when she kidnapped Victoria. Tate and Brady showed up at the park and almost caught her. Brady teased her about times being hard for her that she rummaged through trash. She lied and told him that she was looking for her phone. Brady wanted to talk to her about Tate going to school. They got into an argument about it. Stefan got into an argument with Clyde because he tried to change their deal. Clyde wanted more from Stefan and Ava. He backed down when Clyde threated to hurt Gabi. Ava was frantic because of the Bistro’s reopening, Harris offered to help, but she had everything under control. He left and Stefan arrived. Stefan told her about Clyde’s new demands. He let her know that Clyde wanted them to run drugs out of the restaurant. They didn’t want to do it. Ava and Stefan got into an argument about it. During their argument, she called him Jake. He assured her that he’s nothing like his brother. She believed him. Ava wondered if Clyde was serious about his demand. A delivery man had cases of tomatoes from Clyde. They realized they didn’t have a choice and had to do what Clyde wanted.

Everett was at the paper when Chad arrived. He told Everett that he planned on taking a hands-on approach at the paper. Chad knew how much the paper meant to Abby. Everett admired Abby’s skills as a reporter. Thomas called Chad because he messed up his money for school. Chad realized how much he let Stephanie handle and didn’t know what he would do now. He was about to leave, but he warned Everett not to get out of line. Chad had no problem firing him if he messed up. Stephanie and Jada talked to each other at the pub. Jada told her that Rafe asked her to move in with him. The ladies started drinking and talked about the men they were with. Stephanie told her that she was threw with men, but Jada didn’t want to do that. Jada told her about her ex-husband. Stephanie wanted to see a picture of him. She was about to show Stephanie the picture when Harris arrived at the pub.

Steve got Stephanie to open up about what happened with Chad. He felt she did the right thing breaking up with Chad if they didn’t want the same things. Steve wasn’t happy when Alex arrived at the house. He wanted to talk to Stephanie. They talked about Chad and what happened. Alex thought she should give Chad another chance. He was about to leave when she dropped a bottle on her foot. Chad showed up at the house and assumed something was going on between them. She got upset with Chad because he assumed the worst. Stephanie left to drive herself to the hospital. After she left, Alex explained what happened to Chad and he felt bad for what he assumed. Nicole let EJ know that she kept thinking about what Leo told them. She wondered if their baby was alive, but EJ tried to talk her out of it. He thought Leo was scamming them. EJ told her about Leo sneaking in the house to lie to him before he hit him. He wondered if she was trying to avoid thinking about the death of their baby, and she said she wasn’t doing that. She felt bad about what she did to Eric and Sloan. Nicole wanted to find a way to apologize to them.

Eric ran into Jada at the pub. It was an awkward conversation at first. She told him that she was happy for him. He noticed she was carrying a box, so she told him that Rafe asked her to move in with him. She was thinking about it, so she got the box to prepare for her decision. She went inside and sat with Steve. He wanted to check on her. Jada told him that it was hard. She talked to him about seeing Eric with the baby. She was okay but it’s always a hard day for her. Steve knew it was hard because he remembered that it was the anniversary of Marcus’ death. He talked to her about Marcus and his relationship with him. He let her know that Marcus would be proud of her. Leo told Sloan that Dimitri told him the truth about the baby. She tried to deny it, but he didn’t believe her. Leo told her that he tried to tell Nicole and EJ the truth, but they didn’t believe him. He wanted to blackmail her instead. He warned her to do everything he wanted her to do, or he would sell her out. Eric came home and wanted to know what was going on. Leo lied to him and told Sloan they would talk soon. Sloan lied to Eric and told him that Leo wanted her to get Dimitri out of jail. Nicole and EJ arrived at their place. Nicole let them know they were there so she could apologize for what she did. She gave them a gift for the baby. Leo found out that Dimitri was transferred to maximum security. He vowed to make Sloan pay because he thought she was responsible for it.

Leo wanted Dimitri to give him details about the bomb he dropped on him. Dimitri told him what happened when he took the baby to Sloan’s place. Leo got shocked when Dimitri told him that Sloan and Eric were raising Nicole’s baby. He told Leo about the deal he made with Sloan, and he wanted him to blackmail her. Leo kept thinking about Nicole and EJ. He was about to leave when Dimitri wanted him to have a good life. EJ talked to Johnny about the baby. Johnny offered his condolences to him. EJ told him about the DNA test and how he’s worried about Nicole. Nicole walked in and heard EJ talking. She yelled at him because he thought she was crazy. Johnny left the room. EJ assured Nicole that he didn’t think she was crazy. They talked about their loss. He thought they should try to have another baby at some point in the future. Nicole didn’t want to consider that an option. He understood how she felt and agreed not to pursue it. EJ left to change when the bell rang. Nicole answered the door and she saw Leo.

Holly went to see Tate at the pub. She wanted his help trying to get Johnny from Chanel. She wanted him to ruin Johnny’s surprise for Chanel. Holly wanted him to make sure Chanel. Tate agreed to help her, but he wanted a real date with her in return. Sloan and Eric were enjoying their time together when Roman arrived. He wanted to meet his new grandson. Roman was touched when he found out his name was Jude Roman. He noticed the baby looked like him at that age. Roman wasn’t sure if he imagined it. After Roman left, they talked about him accepting their baby. Sloan was about to leave when Eric checked his voicemail. He stopped her from leaving when he realized the call was from the adoption attorney. He was confused that the adoption attorney called to apologize for the adoption falling through. He asked her why the attorney would tell him that.

Konstantin let Maggie know that he wasn’t leaving Salem. He wanted to have coffee with her to explain his decision. Theresa was eating with Alex and saw Konstantin with Maggie. Alex wondered why Theresa was upset, but he realized why when he saw Maggie and Konstantin walk in the pub. He wanted to pay their bill. Maggie wanted to know why they were rushing off. Alex tried to cover, but it didn’t work for Konstantin. Konstantin knew it was because Theresa was still upset with him for what she said. He gave her an apology and she pretended to accept it. Alex and Theresa left the pub. Maggie was impressed with Konstantin for his apology. She wanted to know why he wasn’t going back to Greece. He told her that the loan sharks accepted the money, but they would kill him if he ever came back to Greece. She wanted to know what he was going to do. He said he was going to stay in Salem. Konstantin had to get a job or marry an American citizen. Stephanie confronted Chad about buying the paper. She thought he did it to get rid of Everett. Chad admitted what he did. She was upset because he didn’t trust her. Chad told her that Everett was the one he didn’t trust. She didn’t want to hear what he had to say. Stephanie told him that she found the ring Everett had for her. He planned to propose to her. Chad wanted to know what she would have said. She said it wasn’t important. Chad thought it was important. She thought it was funny that the man she thought ghosted her wanted to marry her, but the man she’s living with doesn’t want to do it. Stephanie stormed off.

Chad went to Everett’s room and told him that he knew that he found out that he fired him. Chad wanted to offer his job back. Everett wanted to know the catch. Chad told him there wasn’t a catch. He wanted an honest answer. Chad asked him if he was in Salem to get Stephanie back. Everett admitted he wanted Stephanie back. Chad appreciated his honesty and left his room. Everett looked at the ring box and thought the ring could be on Stephanie’s finger sooner than he thought. Alex ran into Chad in the hallway. He told him that Stephanie wanted him to give him something. Alex gave him Stephanie’s key and he took it. John and Steve talked about Konstantin. Steve told him that Konstantin was behind Victoria’s kidnapping. They wanted to find any footage of the kidnapper. John and Steve worked together to figure out where the kidnapper went after leaving Maggie’s place. They got a grainy picture of the kidnapper holding the baby. They had trouble figuring out who it was so they talked to Shane about it. Stephanie arrived after John left. She asked if she could stay with him and Kayla until she figured things out. Rafe and Jada were together in her room. He asked her about moving in with him. She hesitated because she only lived with her ex-husband. Rafe realized that she never talked about her ex-husband She gave him details about him. Jada wasn’t sure she was ready to move in with him yet, but she promised to think about it. Rafe went to take a shower. She took pictures of her Christmas tree and looked at her other pictures. Jada looked at a picture of her and ex. Her ex-husband is Everett.

Paulina arrived at the station and yelled at Rafe over the missing evidence. He assured her that they were working on the case, and they would take down the drug cartel. After Paulina left, Rafe and Jada decided to call it a night. They went out to get a Christmas tree. It wasn’t big, but Jada loved it. Chad overheard Stefan on the phone saying that he wanted Clyde dead. He wondered what happened. Chad thought he was talking about EJ so Stefan went along with it. Stefan asked if he blamed him for feeling that way. Chad understood and told him that he shouldn’t be surprised that EJ doubted Gabi’s innocence. Stefan said there was nothing he wouldn’t do for his wife and Chad understood that. Chad remembered when he held Clyde at gunpoint. Stefan got upset at the mention of his name, but he covered his reaction. He made it seem like he was upset about what he did to Abby. Chad wanted to get dinner for him and Stephanie, but Stefan said the Bistro was closed. He planned to reopen it since he’s the new owner. Chad was surprised, but Stefan said he was keeping busy while Gabi was in jail. He left to take his phone call with Vivian. Stefan told her that he wanted Ivan to kill Clyde. Vivian refused to help Gabi because of what she did to her. She refused to change her mind no matter what he said to her. He vowed to make Clyde pay one way or the other.

Everett talked to Gwen about firing him. He was shocked by what she told him. Stephanie ran into him and told him that she and Chad talked to Jack and Jennfier. They offered to give him a job in Boston. He appreciated it, but he had a mystery to solve. Everett told her that Gwen sold her half of the paper, but she wouldn’t tell him who she sold it to. He was determined to find out who bought the paper. Stephanie agreed to help him find the new owner. Everett researched until he found the name of the company that bought Gwen’s half of the paper. He told her it could take a while to find the person who bought it. Stepanie called Shane to find out if he could look up the company that bought the paper. She was about to go to dinner with Chad when Everett told her that Shane emailed him. He was shocked by what he read. Everett tried to lie to her about the email, but she didn’t buy it. She warned him that she would ask Shane about it if he didn’t tell her. He showed her the email and she was shocked. Stephanie saw that Chad was the one who bought the paper. She left and ran into Chad in the town square. She told him about what he found out.

Dimitri arrived at the station and told EJ he was there to turn himself in. EJ ripped up the paperwork and decided to charge both of them. Dimitri said it would hold up in court. He was shocked Dimitri went to law school, but Leo remembered he did. Rafe talked to Harris about the drugs they seized disappearing. He thought the person who took the drugs took his keys. Rafe joked with Harris and said he was suspended. Harris felt bad, but Rafe told him that he was joking. Rafe believed their next case would be strong. EJ walked int he room and told Rafe to throw the book at Dimitri. Rafe walked in the interrogation room and told Leo that he was free to go. He put the cuffs on Dimitri, but he got a text. Rafe gave Dimitri and Leo a chance to say goodbye. Dimitri let Leo know that he wasn’t going to come back, but he couldn’t let him take the fall for him. Leo was worried that Dimitri would get charged with the baby’s murder. Dimitri said he wouldn’t be charged with murder since the baby wasn’t dead. Rafe came back to take Dimitri to holding. Stefan was surprised to see Ava at the Bistro. They talked about Clyde. He didn’t like what Clyde’s making them do. Ava was thankful they only had to launder money. He had a plan to kill Clyde so they would be free. Stefan told her about the man Vivian knows that locked up with Clyde at Statesville. Ava wasn’t sure about it because Gabi and Tripp could get killed if it didn’t work. Sloan told Eric that she didn’t consent to him getting a DNA test done on their son. Eric told her the results were in the envelope. She didn’t want him to read the results. Nicole thought it was because she knew the baby was hers. Sloan didn’t want to encourage her theories about the baby being hers.

Eric got suspicious of Sloan, but he thought they should read the results so Nicole would learn the truth. Nicole took the envelope. She read the results and saw the baby wasn’t hers. Nicole didn’t understand how the baby wasn’t hers when she was positive he belonged to her. Kayla arrived and Nicole questioned if she tested the baby against her DNA. She admitted that she didn’t have enough DNA from the toothbrush. She used EJ’s DNA. Nicole got upset before she left. Later, EJ and Nicole talked about Dimitri getting arrested and the charges against Leo getting dropped. She didn’t care and told him what happened at the hospital. EJ didn’t mean for her to go through that ordeal alone. She got upset with herself because she couldn’t recognize her child. EJ offered to comfort her. Eric and Sloan went home. She was still upset that he consented to the DNA test without talking to her first. He told her that he tried to tell her, but she had to leave to talk to a client. Sloan remembered her client and called the station to check on Dimitri and Leo. She found out that Leo got released. Sloan and Eric decided to be happy. They talked about baby names. Eric wanted to name their baby Jude. Sloan agreed to the name.

Holly called Eric to see if he would do the DNA test. He agreed to do it, but he wanted to talk to Sloan first. Sloan walked in the room and wanted to know what he wanted to say. Eric got off the phone with Holly so he could talk to Sloan. He told her about his conversation with Holly. Eric was about to tell her about the DNA test when Dimitri texted her. Dimitri wasn’t happy that the charges weren’t dropped the way he wanted. She told Eric that she had to leave. She told him that whatever he wanted to do to convince Nicole the baby was theirs was fine with her. EJ told Nicole he would throw the book at Leo for his role in their baby’s death. She lied to him and said she didn’t think Eric and Nicole’s baby was theirs. She told Holly that she still believed Eric and Sloan’s baby was hers. Holly told her about the idea she had to get a DNA test done. Nicole was happy that Eric agreed to do it. She got her toothbrush for the test. Holly wanted to go with her when she received a text from Tate. Nicole said she could handle it alone.

Dimitri was upset with Sloan because Leo was still in jail. She told him that EJ wouldn’t drop the charges so she filed a motion so the judge could do it. Sloan got a message from the judge telling her the motion was denied. She apologized to Dimitri. Her apology wasn’t good enough for him so he called Nicole. He wanted to talk to her about her baby, but Sloan took his phone from him. She hung up the phone. Nicole tried to call him back, but Sloan declined the call. Sloan told Dimitri that she would get Leo out of jail. She suggested he turn himself in and he would be the only one getting charged. EJ arrived at the station and Leo offered his condolences. He told EJ that the baby was healthy when Dimitri took him to the hospital. EJ didn’t want to hear what he had to say and gladly told him the judge turned down the motion to drop the charges. He told Leo he could make the deal for him if he told him where to find Dimitri. Leo refused to turn on Dimitri. Sloan arrived and told EJ that Dimitri agreed to turn himself in so the charges would get dropped against Leo. Dimitri looked at a picture of Leo. He couldn’t believe he loved someone so much that he would sacrifice his freedom. There was a knock on the door. He didn’t know who it was. Eric brought the baby to the hospital to see Kayla. He asked her to run a DNA test on him. Eric told her what happened with Nicole. She agreed to do the test when Nicole arrived with her toothbrush. Nicole looked at the baby and smiled. Eric and Kayla were concerned. Kayla told them the test would be done in an hour.

Dimitri called Sloan demanding to know why Leo was still in jail. She told him that she was busy with her son. He told her that she had to get Leo out of jail, or he would tell Nicole everything. She promised to do it. She hung up the phone and told Eric that she had a meeting with a client. Nicole and EJ arrived at the mansion when Holly showed up. She was about to leave them alone when Nicole stopped her. Nicole apologized to her for the way she talked to her. Holly understood why she did it. The bell rang so EJ left to answer it. After he left, Nicole told Holly that her baby was alive. She told Holly about her theory about Eric and Sloan’s new baby. Holly was skeptical about her theory. She was worried about Nicole. EJ opened the door to Sloan. She wanted to talk about Leo. Sloan asked him to drop the charges against Leo. She told him that Leo wasn’t responsible for his son’s death. EJ didn’t agree with her and wanted her to leave. EJ walked away from her, but she followed him inside. Nicole wanted to talk to her. She wanted to know where Sloan got her baby. Sloan told her that her baby wasn’t her son. She offered her condolences, but she was wrong about the baby. Nicole didn’t believe her. EJ ordered Sloan to leave. Nicole went after her, but Holly stopped her. Nicole yelled at EJ for letting Sloan leave. She ended up crying in his arms. Nicole felt bad for breaking down in front of Holly. They looked around and Holly was gone.

Konstantin told Maggie that he owed a loan sharks money in Greece, and they were responsible for the kidnapping. He thought they were trying to get him to pay by kidnapping the baby. Steve didn’t believe him, but Maggie was convinced. After Steve left, Maggie told Konstantin that she felt bad for him, but he had to leave because she couldn’t put her family in danger. She offered to pay for his hotel stay, flight and debt so he could pay the loan sharks. He wouldn’t have to worry about the loan sharks anymore. He tried to protest by telling her that he cared about her and didn’t want her money. She wanted him to take it and leave. Sloan met with Dimitri at the motel. He wanted to know what was going on with Leo. She told him Leo would be out of jail the next morning. He thanked her for helping Leo. Steve met with John at the town square. He told him about Konstantin. He didn’t believe Konstantin. He wanted to continue investigating him. Holly went to see Eric. She told him about Nicole’s theory about the baby. Holly didn’t know how to help her mother. She knew Nicole needed help. Holly asked Eric to do a DNA test on the baby to prove he wasn’t Nicole’s baby. Eric was skeptical about that, but she pleaded with him to do it.

Stephanie was surprised that Chad came to his senses about Everett. She was suspicious of him until he wanted to invite Everett over. Chad realized he was off base about Everett’s intentions towards her. Stephanie insisted that Chad wasn’t wrong. She admitted what Everett’s intentions were when she first saw him. Xander told Everett that he had to let him go. He wanted to know why. He thought about Chad’s offer. Xander lied about Gwen disapproving of his article about Leo. He told him that Gwen wanted him to fire him. Everett didn’t believe him. Steve thought Konstantin had an accomplice so he could look like the hero in the kidnapping. Kayla didn’t think that theory was true. Sarah agreed with Kayla that Konstantin was charming. She remembered that she was hesitant about him at first too and shared her thoughts with Maggie. Steve thought Konstantin probably heard them. She thought it was possible. Sarah admitted that her feelings about Konstantin changed when he saved her daughter. Steve thought his plan worked like a charm. They wondered who the accomplice was. Alex overheard Theresa and Konstantin talking about her going after Alex’s inheritance. He wondered why Konstantin cared about it. Maggie overheard them and wondered why it mattered to Konstantin as well. He covered his tracks by saying he was concerned about Theresa’s motives. Alex and Maggie defended Theresa.

Chad and Stephanie enjoyed their time together until Everett arrived. He let Stephanie know they won’t be working together anymore. She wanted to know what happened. He told her that Xander’s silent partner wanted him to go. He wasn’t sure what would happen to her because he hired her. She wondered what he would do now. He would figure it out. Chad pretended to be shocked about his firing. He wished him luck. He had dinner with Stephanie and assured her that things would be okay. It wasn’t her fault that Everett lost his job. Everett called Gwen, but he got her voice mail. Maggie talked to Konstantin. He let her know that Steve wanted her to leave town. She wanted to know why. He admitted that he lied to her about the tablecloth. Konstantin also admitted that he lied about his relationship with Victor. He swore that everything else was the truth. Steve suggested he tell her about the kidnapping. Konstantin was upset that he accused him of the kidnapping. He could tell them who really did it.

Chad told Stephanie that the kids were with Doug and Julie so they could have some time to fix things. She agreed with him when Everett showed up. Everett needed his help with Leo’s situation. He asked her to go to the office with him. Chad thought they should distance themselves away from Leo, but Everett disagreed with him. Stephanie sided with Everett. She understood Chad’s feelings since he lost his nephew, but she reminded him that it was her job. Sarah went to see Xander. She surprised him by showing him Victoria’s updated birth certificate. She named him as Victoria’s father. Sarah told him that she had Justin draw up the paperwork for joint custody. She was happy that things were getting better. She thought there was a chance they could get back together. Sarah was open to the idea. He was about to kiss her when she told him that she had to go to work. After she left, Chad showed up. He wanted Xander to sell his half of the newspaper. Xander wasn’t interested in selling his half of the paper. Chad told him that Gwen sold her half of the paper and they were partners now. He would allow Xander to keep the profits if he fired Everett.

Steve told Kayla that he and John found out the truth about Konstantin. They found out that he lied to Maggie. He told her that Konstantin and Victor weren’t close anymore when he wanted a loan. Victor turned down a loan that Konstantin wanted. Kayla thought Konstantin had good intentions, but Steve didn’t agree with that. Kayla thought they shouldn’t say anything to Maggie about Konstantin. He didn’t think that was a good idea. Kayla thought he should tell Maggie’s family so they could watch out for him. Sarah walked in and he told her about Konstantin. She had doubts about him too. Sarah told him about Victoria’s kidnapping and how he found her. He didn’t know about the kidnapping. Steve wondered if he was behind the kidnapping. Stephanie and Everett were working at the paper. She went into his laptop bag and found a ring. He admitted that he bought it the night he was going to propose to her. Everett was going to propose to her when he saw her again, but she was with Chad. He knew he should sell the ring to help pay for his medical bills. Rafe informed him the police were doing everything possible to find him. EJ wanted to throw the book at Dimitri and Leo. Rafe wondered what he was going to do about Ava. He told EJ forensics checked Gil’s fingernails and the results proved that Ava killed him in self-defense. EJ wondered if Ava planted the evidence, but Rafe didn’t think she did that. He didn’t see a reason to prosecute her if Rafe thought she killed Gil in self-defense. Eric didn’t think it was a good idea for Nicole to hold his baby. She thought holding the baby would comfort her. Nicole agreed with Eric, but he changed his mind. He let her hold the baby. She talked about how sweet the baby was. Harris wondered what happened to his lawyer. Leo told him that Sloan would be there to prove his innocence. He assured him that he didn’t murder the baby. Leo mourned the baby too. Harris left him and talked to Jada about Ava. Eric was shocked when Nicole announced that he was her baby. Eric was confused by what she said. Nicole let her know that she recognized her baby because she held him when he was born. Eric said it was impossible, but Nicole believed he was her baby. After she left, Rafe arrived and brought Harris his keys. Dimitri shocked Sloan by being at her door. He told her that he heard that Leo was getting charged with murder and thought she was the one who should be charged. She didn’t understand what he meant. He reminded her that he brought a healthy baby to her, and she was supposed to take him to the hospital. The baby ended up dying. Dimitri knew she hated Nicole but didn’t think she would kill the baby. Sloan said she would never do that to a baby. He wanted to know how the baby ended up dying. She lied to him about the accident, but he noticed baby items around her place. He figured out that she kept the baby. She tried denying it, but she admitted it. He warned her to get Leo out of jail or he would tell what she did. Sloan promised to get Leo out as fast as she could. After Dimitri left, Eric returned with the baby. Harris called Ava and let her know that he couldn’t find his key. He wondered if she saw his keys. She looked at the table and saw the keys. She put the keys in her pocket when Stefan arrived at her apartment. He told her that he was her new partner. Ava pretended not to know what he meant. Stefan told her that Clyde blackmailed him with Gabi’s safety, so he had to help him. He asked her about the keys, and she showed it to him. Stefan was going to make copies of them so she could give them back to Harris. She wonders why she should trust him, and he told her they had to work together. He told her they had to protect the people they love, but he didn’t plan on being blackmailed for long. Stefan was about to leave when Harris arrived. He lied to Harris about why he was there. He wanted to talk to Wendy and Tripp about Li being killed. Harris warned him about interrogating witnesses. After Stefan left, Harris wondered why she didn’t return his call. She said she was about to call him when Stefan showed up. He asked her about his keys, and she said she didn’t see it. Sloan was on the phone with Melinda. She talked about the guilt she felt about the baby when Eric walked in the room. Sloan told him that she was on the phone with Melinda. She was happy and wondered if Eric was. He was happy too, but he kept thinking about Nicole’s baby. Melinda arrived with the baby. They were excited about the baby. Sloan was nervous because the baby cried with her and was calm with Eric. Harris talked to Leo at the police station. He told him that Nicole’s baby died, and he would be charged with murder. Leo didn’t understand since the baby seemed healthy. Harris told him that the baby died because of the accident. He left Leo alone so he could talk to his lawyer. Leo called Sloan and she said she would help him as soon as she could. Dr. Pierce went to see Melinda. He told her that Nicole and EJ wanted to see their baby. She told him that he took the money and he had to figure out what to do. He demanded more money from her. Dr. Pierce went back to the hospital. Nicole was upset when he didn’t have the baby with him. He told her the baby was accidentally cremated. He apologized to EJ and Nicole. EJ and Nicole were upset and yelled at him. He apologized again and offered to get the ashes. Dr. Pierce left the room and Nicole broke down in EJ’s arms. Later EJ took Nicole to the pub. She wanted to wait outside because she didn’t want to face anyone. Eric showed up with the baby. Nicole was surprised they already had the baby. He said he was bringing the baby there to meet his father. Nicole wanted to hold him.

EJ wanted him to have some compassion for Nicole. Stefan wondered where EJ’s compassion for his wife was. He reminded EJ that his wife was rotting in prison because of him. Stefan finally calmed down and offered his condolences. Nicole wanted EJ to talk to Stefan outside because she wanted to be alone. Clyde called Ava. He let her know that killing Gil didn’t get her out of their arrangement. She told him that Gil tried to rape her. Clyde thought he was playing hard to get. He threatened Tripp and reminded her to get the key. Harris walked in the interrogation room while she was on the phone with Clyde. Clyde threatened Tripp again before she hung up. She lied about talking to a defense attorney who charged too much. He said she might not need an attorney if he could prove she killed Gil in self-defense. She appreciated what he was doing for her.

Paulina wanted them to shut it down. They agreed to investigate the drug cartel. After Paulina left, Harris agreed to help Rafe investigate Gabi’s case. Harris felt they should focus on the drug cartel too. Maggie thanked Konstantin for getting Victoria back. He kissed her and she pushed him away. She was horrified that he kissed her. Konstantin said he would go back to Greece immediately. Maggie informed him that it wasn’t necessary, but he said he needed to go. She walked away from him. He beat himself up for messing up his plan. Konstantin wondered if he could fix it after all. Xander and Sarah were ecstatic to have their daughter back. He offered her another alternative. Gil told her that he would keep quiet if she had sex with him. She refused and pulled away from him. He ripped her shirt and got rough with her. Gil told her that she didn’t have a choice. Ava pretended to give in and grabbed his gun. He didn’t think she would shoot him, so he continued to approach her. Harris was outside the door. He burst into Ava’s apartment with his gun drawn when he heard a gunshot. He found Ava holding a gun while Gil was on the floor with a gunshot wound.
