Sarah told Nicole that Ava was running the Vitale family. Nicole didn’t believe that Ava was doing that because she was locked up. Sarah told her that Ava was making people launder money. She said people would get hurt. Nicole wanted to know who would get hurt. Brady got shot while he was talking to Kristen on the phone. Kristen wanted to know what was going on. Chloe got on the phone and told her Brady was shot. Chloe hung up the phone. Kristen was upset that she didn’t tell her what was happening. Gabi and Rafe talked about Jake and Kate being together. Kate told Jake that she was afraid Gabi was going to take him from her. He said he was with the one he wanted. Tony went to see Kristen. He told her Jake was in charge of DiMera. She said she didn’t care. She said Brady was shot. She told him she needed to know if he was safe. He told her he would find out something. She said she was going with him. Nicole went to see Ava. Nicole wanted to ask her about the mob. Chloe and Philip got Brady to the hospital. Gabi walked in on Kate and Jake while they were spending time together.

Gabi told Jake and Kate that she wanted to show him her proposal for Gabi Chic. Kate told her that he wasn’t interested in the proposal. She told Gabi to go home. Gabi told her Jake was the CEO. Kristen attacked a guard and got his gun. She put it on Tony so she could get out of there. Tony tried to talk Kristen out of breaking out of prison. She said she needed a hostage and a driver. Chloe blamed herself for not listening to Brady. Philip told her it was his fault. He said she was probably in danger because of him. She didn’t care about it. Sarah showed up while they were talking. Nicole went to Rafe and told her that Ava sent Charlie to London to follow Tripp. She thought it would help nail Charlie. She told him Allie was going to by hypnotized to see what she remembered. Jake told Kate that he agreed to look at Gabi’s proposal. Gabi warned him that Mr. Shin would be upset if she took her company somewhere else and it was successful. Gabi wanted to talk to Jake alone. Kate was willing to let them talk. Gabi told Jake that he was pretending to care about Kate. He said he didn’t want to hear what she had to say about Kate. He said he could look at the business proposal without her being there. He told her to leave, but she said she wasn’t going anywhere. Sarah told Chloe and Philip that Brady was stabilized. When Chloe went to see Brady, Sarah asked Philip if the bullet was meant for him. He said it was Xander’s fault that it happened. She told him not to blame Xander. She said it was his fault. Philip said Xander only started digging because he wanted to run the company. She said Victor would never forgive him if Brady died. Philip went to see Ava. He told her that Angelo put a hit out on him. He said Brady got shot instead. She said she had nothing to do with it. She asked why Angelo would do it. Philip told her to find out.

Xander told Eli that he had a number where he could reach Rayner. Eli wanted him to call the number. Sarah told Maggie that Philip was in trouble with the mob. She told Maggie that he owed Ava money. She said that was the reason why he came home and needed a job. She said the Vitalli’s said they would kill Philip if he didn’t launder the money. Maggie wanted to know how she found out. Sarah said she and Xander worked together to find proof. Maggie thought they broke up. Sarah was afraid that the mob found out and that was why he didn’t come home. Brady was upset that Philip was with Chloe. Chloe didn’t have a problem with Philip staying with her. Brady wanted to know how long he was staying. She said he was staying for as long as it took. Abe told Julie that Dr. Rayner was the one who kidnapped the babies. She didn’t understand why a doctor would steal the babies. He said it was the same doctor that stole a baby before. Lani told Kristen that Dr. Raynor was the one who stole the twins. Kristen was shocked. Kristen wanted to know how she could help. Lani asked if she tried to reach out to her. Kristen said she didn’t. Lani said Nicole told her Dr. Raynor felt guilty about what she did. Kristen said she didn’t. Lani told her Xander was the best lead to finding her. Xander told Eli that he wasn’t sure if Dr. Raynor still had the phone he gave her. Eli said it was their only chance. Xander called the number. Eli recorded the call. Dr. Raynor answered the phone. Dr. Raynor wanted to know what Xander wanted. He said he wanted to talk to her about the babies she stole. She said she didn’t know what he was talking about. He said a witness saw her at the park with the babies. She said the person made a mistake. She wanted to know what it had to do with him. He said the police thought he was involved. She asked if he wanted to call the police and tell them he was innocent. He said he wanted to help her. Brady told Chloe that he was going to call Victor and tell him what he was doing. She told him that he promised he wouldn’t say anything. He said he was going to do it to keep her safe. Sarah told Maggie that it would be all her fault if Philip died. Philip came in and said he was fine no thanks to her.

Chloe tried to convince Brady not to tell Victor about Philip. Brady told her that she was enabling Philip. She said she wasn’t. He said the best way to deal with it was to cut him off. Philip reminded Sarah that she was the reason why he was in trouble. Maggie tried to defend Sarah. He was upset that Sarah told her. Maggie suggested that he tell Victor. Philip didn’t want him to know. Dr. Raynor wanted to know why Xander wanted to help her. He said Sarah taught him to be a better man. She didn’t believe he would help her out of the kindness of his heart. Xander said he had another motive. He said he hated Eli and Lani for what they have done to him. Xander said he wanted to help her disappear. He told her to tell him where she was. She said she wasn’t telling him where she was. He said she didn’t have to give her an address, but he would help her get out of town. He asked her to meet him so he could help her. Chloe told Brady that Philip could die if she cut him off. Brady said she could die if he didn’t. He told her not to let Philip drag her down. She said like he did. Brady said he dragged her down with him when he was on drugs. Maggie told Philip that she wouldn’t tell Victor for now. Philip said he could handle it himself. Sarah said she went to Rafe and told him what was going on. Jack and Jennifer told Julie that the twins were missing. Julie wanted to be with Eli. Abby wanted to know why Gwen wasn’t out of the house. Chad said the kids didn’t get a chance to say bye to her. Abby didn’t care. He said they loved Gwen. Abby was willing to let the kids say bye to her, but she wanted her gone by the time she came back home. Eli tried to get Lani to think about the kidnapping like they were cops. She didn’t think she could do that. He asked her what it said about someone who kidnapped their children in broad daylight. She said they were desperate for a baby. He said someone might want to get revenge on them. She wanted to know why. He said they arrested a lot of people. She said it would be worse if someone took the babies out of revenge because they wouldn’t take care of them. Abby went to see Jack and Jennifer. She wanted to talk about Gwen. Gwen told Chad he had to come up with a better reason to get her to stay. She said she would tell Abby that they had sex. He warned her that she wasn’t going to ruin his life or marriage. He wanted to know what she wanted from him. Julie went to see Lani and Eli. Julie wanted to know what she could do to help. Eli said the police were all over it. Allie confronted Charlie about raping her. Charlie told her Tripp raped her. He said Tripp’s DNA matched Henry’s. She said Rafe told her that he was Tripp’s half brother so he could have raped her too. Nicole told Rafe that she wanted to talk to Ava. He told her that she wasn’t herself. Tripp tried to talk to Ava to get her to talk about Charlie. Steve came in and wanted to know how it was going. Claire told Marlena that she was going to find Charlie because she wouldn’t tell her anything. John came in just as Claire was about to leave. She said she wanted to know what was going on and Marlena wouldn’t tell her. He said he told Marlena not to say anything. Claire wanted to know what was going on with Charlie. John told her that he and Steve thought that Charlie was the one who hurt Allie. Steve told Tripp that the police were questioning Charlie. Tripp said he would get the truth out of Charlie. Steve told him to hold off on that. Tripp said people in the town treating him like he was a monster so there was no way he was letting it go. Charlie told Allie that he didn’t remember her. Ava wanted to see Tripp. Claire told Shawn that Charlie didn’t do it. She said he wasn’t a match for Henry. Shawn asked her to explain why Ava was tied up in his apartment. Charlie told Rafe that he wasn’t answering his questions. Rafe said his lawyer was on the way. He said he would answer his questions. Allie met up with Nicole. Nicole said Charlie admitted to his mother that he was the one who raped her.

Sarah told Xander about his dirty laundry and he realized Philip was laundering money and not embezzling it. He was convinced he had what he needed to expose Philip. Xander knew Victor couldn’t ignore what Philip did. Brady went to see Kristen at the prison. She was upset because she read an article an saw him kissing Chloe. He assured her the kiss was innocent. She was still mad and became more upset when she found out he was working with her. She wanted to know why he didn’t tell her before. He wanted to focus on her and Rachel and nothing else. He assured her that Chloe was just a friend. She didn’t mean to be insecure. He let her know there wouldn’t be anyone else. Bonnie ran into Philip while he was looking at a missing person’s photo of Ava. They argued because he dumped Mimi. Chloe showed up so Bonnie walked away. She asked him about the money-laundering scheme. He didn’t think it was a problem since Ava is dealing with her own issues. Angelo called Philip and informed him that he was in charge now. He got off the phone and told her how he had to keep laundering the money or he would go to prison. If he didn’t go to prison, he would end up dead. Brady walked up and was curious about their conversation. Philip didn’t want to answer him, but Chloe told Brady how he was in trouble. She said Philip needed his help.

Lani and Eli went to the nursery to get their babies, but they found out they were missing. Eli asked the nurse what happened to their babies. She was going to look into the situation. Eli called his mother to see if she had the twins since she was on the authorized list. She told him that she and Abe didn’t have them. Later, Abe and Valerie arrived at the hospital. Eli told everyone how he checked with the head nurse and the twins weren’t accounted for, but the hospital was on lockdown until they were found. Valerie tried to make Lani feel better, but she was falling apart. She couldn’t go through that again. She couldn’t lose her babies. Valerie took Lani back to her room. Abe put an alert out and assured Eli the twins would be found.Eli brought a laptop with the security footage on it. He didn’t find anything suspicious. He thought the person knew how to avoid the cameras. Eli assured Lani they would have the twins with them. Dr. Raynor was in the park with a stroller. She let someone know that she had the babies. Bonnie showed up. She picked up the pacifier that Dr. Raynor dropped. Raynor was scared when Bonnie picked up one of the babies. Bonnie put the baby down so Raynor rushed off. Bonnie wished her luck with them.
