Orpheus found Lucas’ bottle in the garbage. Orpheus realized he didn’t drink it. Steve and John let Lucas know that he could leave. They said they could handle Orpheus. Lucas tried to put up a fight, but they told him they wanted him to be safe. The doctor showed up. Steve and John told the doctor they were there to clean up. When the doctor checked on Lucas, he walked him out of the infirmary. Steve and John stayed behind. Roman told Kate’s ashes that Orpheus was going to pay for what he did to her, Marlena and Kayla. Anna showed up to check on him. He said he was fine. She said she heard him talking to the urn. He said he knew it wasn’t Kate’s but it brought they closer. He said she should understand that. She said she understood. She was sad that he was robbed of his chance to be with Kate. He said he missed her, but he knew she was at peace. Kate didn’t believe Nick when he said Roman, John and Steve were planning to kill Orpheus. Nick showed them when the guys agreed to do the plan. When Nick left, Kayla said if she knew about the plan when she went to see Steve, she would have stopped them. She said there was nothing else they could do. Kate said there may be something they could do.

Marlena agreed to the devil’s plan. She said she would stay with him for eternity if he would let Kate and Kayla go to the good place. The devil agreed to the terms. He said she could tell them goodbye. Nick took her to them. He said the next time she saw him she would see what he really looked like. Kate asked Kayla how she saw Steve. Kayla said she was thinking about him and missing him and that was when it happened. Kate said she wanted to reach Roman and talk him out of killing Orpheus. Kayla said Nick closed the firewall. Kate said it was for Kayla and Steve. Kate screamed out to Roman, but Kayla said she had to concentrate and imagine him being right there with her. Kate closed her eyes and called out to him. Anna told Roman to keep Kate’s ashes in a necklace so he would always be able to talk to her. Roman heard Kate’s voice. He looked at the urn when she told him not to kill Orpheus. She said it wasn’t worth condemning his soul for eternity. He told Anna that he was talking to Kate. Nick came back as Kate was telling Roman not to kill Orpheus. Nick pressed a button on a remote. Kate lost her connection. Nick said he didn’t know what happened, but he would consult the IT department. Kate told Kayla she was able to feel a connection. She said Roman got her message not to kill Orpheus. Marlena showed up. they told her what was going on with their husbands. Marlena told her what was going on with her. Kate thanked Marlena for her sacrifice. Kayla said she wasn’t going to let her trade her soul for theirs. Kate said she didn’t think they could talk Marlena out of it. Kayla said they were stronger together. Nick said he would have to take them all to the bad place if Marlena backed out of the deal. Kate said they didn’t have a choice. Kayla said if one went, they all went. Marlena appreciated what Kayla was doing, but she was okay with her decision. Kayla said she wasn’t happy. She said they couldn’t be happy in heaven if she wasn’t there. Kate finally agreed and told Nick no deal. He said he was hoping they would say that. He asked if they were ready to go. Orpheus went to the infirmary and saw John and Steve. Orpheus reminded them of what happened to their wives. Steve told him they found a way to ease the suffering. He said they were going to watch him die. They put him on a gurney and let him know how they were going to make it look as if he overdosed. Orpheus asked them if they wanted to risk going to hell for taking an innocent life. Roman called Steve, but he ignored the call. Lucas was in the visitor’s room. Roman showed up and told him they had to stop John and Steve. John got the syringe ready. Steve said he wanted to be the one to do it. Steve took the syringe. Orpheus tried to stop him. He said he knew who was responsible for their wives’ deaths.

Nicole let EJ know that she was fine with eating at the same place as Eric and Sloan. They ended up at the table next to them. Nicole and Eric were distracting each other at their respective tables. Nicole and Eric left their tables and ran into each other. They had an awkward conversation and went back to their tables. Sloan was ready to go home. EJ told Nicole that they should go home too. Sloan understood if Eric wanted to end their night early since his mother’s funeral was the next day. She was willing to make love to him too if he wanted to do it. He kissed her passionately. Li talked to Wendy about how he struck out with Gabi for Valentine’s Day. She told him that he has to try to be her friend now instead of trying to get her back in his life. He didn’t want to be friends with her because they were married. She told him that they were married on paper. He planned on changing that. She reminded him that Gabi loved Stefan. Li didn’t understand why she would waste her time with someone who loved someone else. Wendy wondered if she was like Gabi. Gabi was trying to prove who Stefan loved more. Li wasn’t talking about her situation with Johnny. Gabi was upset that Stefan called her Chloe. He said he didn’t call her Chloe. He said if he did that it was because he was worried about her. He said that she wasn’t returning his calls. Gabi wondered if she would be there if Chloe answered the phone. He assured her that he would have called her anyway. Gabi wondered if he was looking for a threesome. He wasn’t, but he wondered if she was into that. She called him a pig and threw her drink at him. Stefan assured her that he loved her. She wanted him to call her when she was the only person he loved.

EJ and Nicole returned to the DiMera mansion. They kissed each other. Things heated up for them and they stayed in her room. Gabi went to see Li and wondered if his invitation was still open to her. She thought they could talk about the divorce. He thought about Sloan’s advice and told Gabi that he will have his lawyer speed up the process. She thanked him. He wondered why she wasn’t with Stefan. She told him that he called her Chloe. Li thought it was funny. She got upset with him because he’s the reason why it happened. He told her that he would love her no matter what Rolf did to him. He told her that she was all he ever wanted and that’s why he did the things he did. He asked her to eat dinner with him and she accepted the invitation. Steve had a beer and was looking at a picture of his wedding photo. He fell asleep on the couch. He woke up and saw Kayla. He was shocked and wanted to know how she got there. She had to see him on their anniversary. She told him that she loved him. He let her know that he loved her with all his heart. He knew she wasn’t real and that he was drinking too much. She said she was real and kissed him. Kayla told him that she needed him because the good place wasn’t working out for her. She told him about running into Adrienne and how she turned into Nick. She told him that Nick tricked her into signing away her soul. She pleaded with him to help her. He was confused and wanted her to tell him what to do. Tripp showed up and woke Steve up. He told him that Kayla was there and needed his help. Tripp thought he had too much to drink and wanted to help him out. He thought about Kayla and wondered how he would ever go on without her.

John saw Steve at Kayla’s grave. They talked about their wives’ funeral. John said it was hard to believe they were never going to see their wives again. Steve told him that he saw Kayla. John said that was a nice image. Steve said he and Kayla touched and kissed. He said she asked him for help. He said it was real. John asked if he was okay. Steve said he wasn’t. He said he would be grieving for the rest of his life. John said he understood which was why they were going after Orpheus. Roman called Lucas and told him they had to put their plan into effect. Lucas said he was ready to do it for his mother. Allie showed up while Roman was on the phone. Roman lied about why he was talking to Lucas. He said Lucas called about the funeral. She got on the phone and was concerned about how he was dealing with the grief. He told her not to worry about him. He told her to take care of herself and Henry. He said he loved her before they got off the phone. When Allie left, John and Steve went to see Roman. Roman told them Lucas was all set. Roman asked if they were ready. Steve said Orpheus wouldn’t know what hit him. Roman said he wished he was going with them. John and Steve thought it was better if he stayed on the outside in case something went wrong. Will told Sonny that he couldn’t put off going back to New Zealand. Will said he hated saying goodbye to him. Sonny said he was going with him. Sonny said he couldn’t stand being away from him. Will asked about Arianna and Titan. Sonny said Gabi said they could take her with them. He said Alex could take over Titan. He said he could work remotely. Will and Sonny were excited. Allie walked up and was happy for them. She asked if she could go with them. She wanted to take a chance and be impulsive. Will and Sonny were happy to have her with them.

Lucas told a guard that he wanted to see Orpheus right away. Orpheus showed up and asked if he was drunk. Lucas told him he wasn’t drunk enough. He said today was his mother’s funeral and he wasn’t there. He said he needed more alcohol to get through the day. Lucas tried to hit Orpheus but missed. Orpheus said he would be back. He came back with a bottle and wanted to make a toast to Kate. He wanted Lucas to go first. When Lucas was about to take a drink, the guard came back for Orpheus so he could go to therapy. When Orpheus was gone, Lucas put the alcohol on his face and put the rest in the garbage. The guard came back. Lucas said he wanted more alcohol. He went after the guard, but the guard threw him through a table. Lucas passed out. The guard called out for help to send him to the infirmary. When the nurse him in the infirmary alone, he let John and Steve inside. They were wearing scrubs. Nick let Marlena, Kayla and Kate know the devil was granting them an audience. The devil agreed to see Marlena. Nick took her to the staircase before he disappeared. Marlena saw the devil. The devil was Doug. He thought a familiar face would make her feel more comfortable. He said if she saw his real face, hers would melt away. He showed her the contracts they signed. She tried to bargain with the devil. She said Nick’s games were beneath the devil. She asked if he wanted to prove how strong he was without cheating. He said he would be willing to tear up the contracts if she would stay by his side for eternity. Kate and Kayla were worried about Marlena. Nick showed up and told them how sad their funerals were. When he talked about Steve, he told Kayla that she went to see Steve. She admitted to seeing him. She said she didn’t know how she was able to talk to him. He told her she wouldn’t be able to do it again. He told them John, Roman and Steve were avenging their deaths by killing Orpheus.

Brady talked to Nicole about Chloe. Nicole said Chloe was upset that he didn’t tell her about Kristen blackmailing him. She said Chloe needed space. She told him to focus on Marlena since her funeral was the next day. She told him to let it go and focus on helping his family get through this time. They ended up talking about her being sick after drinking. They also talked about Eric drinking again. She said Eric was doing it because of Marlena. He said Eric was doing it because he missed her. She didn’t believe that was why Eric was acting that way. Brady asked if she moved on with EJ. She didn’t answer the question. She went to a meeting. Sloan went to Li’s room and told him she got Rolf not to sign the statement about Li’s crimes. Li wanted to know what she was going to do about Gabi. Sloan said there were many ways to drag out the divorce in court. He said while she was dragging out the divorce, he was going to make love to Gabi. Sloan asked how he was going to do that. He said he didn’t know but he was willing to take suggestions. She told him to be aggressive and stop worrying about how people will think about his actions. He said that sounded like Gabi. He said he needed to forget about logic and go to her heart.

At the DiMera mansion, Stefan was happy that Nicole helped them close the deal with Basic Black. EJ wasn’t able to think clearly. He didn’t feel right. Stefan said he needed a good drink. He put drugs in one of the glasses. They toasted each other and started to drink when Chad came in the room. EJ gave him his drink. Chad didn’t like the drink and said it was too strong. When Chad left the room, Stefan offered to make EJ a cocktail. EJ didn’t want the drink. He left to clear his head. Stefan told Stefano’s portrait that he would have to give EJ a few more doses and he would be out of DiMera. He said he would forget about getting revenge until the next day. He wanted to focus on love. Gabi went to Rafe’s office. She told him she thought Rolf would have been released by now. He told her Sloan stopped Rolf from signing the statement. She said she didn’t hear from Stefan all day. When she checked her phone, she saw that he called her and invited her over. Gabi went to the DiMera mansion. He was glad that she accepted his invitation. He gave her a rose and their favorite wine. She was glad that he had his memory back so they could get their magic back. They kissed each other. He wanted to go upstairs. When she told him she loved him, he said he loved her too. He ended up calling her Chloe.

Gwen told Leo that she was upset that Xander didn’t call her. She was scared that he was with Sarah. She told him she wanted her and Xander to get close the way Jack and Jennifer did at the Spectator. He said it was something how she wanted to be like Jack and Jennifer even though she was taking the paper from them. Johnny yelled at Xander in the Square. Johnny told him about killing his grandmother. He couldn’t believe Sarah would stay with him. Xander said Sarah was filing for divorce. Johnny was glad that they were getting a divorce. He said he was going to make Xander pay for what he did. Xander tried to defend his actions. Johnny told him about Susan’s last moments. Xander apologized for what he did. Johnny told him he wasn’t sorry, but he would be. Xander went to see Gwen and Leo. He said they weren’t going to take the paper from Jack and Jennifer. He said he felt bad about his situation with Johnny. He said he couldn’t do that to Jack. Xander walked out of the room. Gwen told Leo that she thought Xander changed his mind because she brought out the worst in him unlike Sarah. Leo thought Xander would change his mind. Gwen said Xander wanted to be the man Sarah wanted him to be. Sarah and Rex woke up in bed together. He told her how beautiful she was. He gave her a rose. She told him last night was great, but she wasn’t ready to rush into anything. He said he understood that she used him to get over Xander. He said if being with him helped her, it was worth it.

Chanel told Paulina that she almost cheated on Allie after finding her drunk with Alex. Paulina told her not to give up on Allie unless she had a reason to give up. She told Chanel to handle her business. Allie woke up with a headache. She remembered making out with Alex. He came in her room without his shirt on. She wondered what she did. He asked if it was that bad. She said it was amazing and she wanted to sleep with him. She said she couldn’t believe she betrayed her girlfriend. She said he didn’t understand because he because he was only after casual sex. He said she was wrong. He said after falling for Stephanie, he understood that love and feelings were involved in sex. Jack ran into Xander. Xander called him out for not speaking to him. Jack told him about kidnapping two women. He said he was upset about him bringing Gwen down with him. Xander said he did worse than that. Jack said he knew better now. He said he saw Xander change, but when he gets desperate, he will go back to his old ways. Xander asked Jack to give Gwen another chance. Jack talked about the things she has done. Xander said Jack was upset that Gwen wasn’t Abby. He said Jack’s love was conditional. Xander said he didn’t like the way she was being treated after everything she has done. He said he was okay with Jack not being friends with him. He said he didn’t want to be friends with someone like Jack. Later, Xander went to see Gwen. He told her what happened with Jack. Xander said he wished could do something about her losing everything. Leo appeared and said they use Jennifer’s car accident against her. Rex showed up at the Kiriakis mansion with a letter from Phillip. He told Sarah that Phillip faked his death. He asked her to keep it a secret until he talked to Brady and Chloe. He said he felt bad expecting her to keep a secret from her husband. She told him she wasn’t with Xander anymore. He said that wasn’t a good idea. She convinced him to be with her. They started kissing each other. Gwen went to see Jack at the Horton house. She wanted to talk about the paper. He thought she wanted her job back. Xander showed up to tell him they wanted the whole paper. They told him to sign over ownership of the paper or they would send Jennifer to prison for hitting Gwen.

Johnny wanted to invite Wendy out to see a movie. She wasn’t sure if the timing was right for that. He wanted to know if she was having an issue because of Chanel. He called out to Chanel so they could clear things up, but Wendy told him that she moved out. He assured her that he wasn’t pressuring her. She agreed to go out with him. Her phone rang so she answered it. Joey let her know that Tripp was having a hard time over Ava. He asked her if she could keep him company while he helped his father with the funeral arrangements for his mother. She agreed to help him. She let Johnny know that Tripp was having a tough time. Johnny wasn’t happy about it, but he thought they could go another day. Tripp let Joey know that he talked to Steve and he sounded bad. He felt they should be with him. Joey stalled until Wendy arrived. Joey hugged her and asked her not to tell Tripp that he wanted her to stop by. They started talking about Ava. She assured Tripp that she would be there for him. He glared at Joey. Joey told her about Tripp being a doctor. Joey said he was going to help his father. Tripp followed him to the door and asked if he asked her to come over. He admitted it and left. Abe and Paulina were ready for a romantic evening when Chanel walked out of her room. She let them know what happened when she went to talk to Allie. They tried to justify what she saw, but she didn’t buy the explanation. She left so they could be alone.

Johnny ran into Chanel in the town square. She told him that she and Allie decided to take a break. She told him about finding Alex’s underwear in Allie’s apartment. He talked her into going to the movies with him. He told her about the movies, and she changed her mind. She offered to buy him a drink. Allie gave Alex his underwear. She told him that Chanel found his underwear at the apartment. They talked about how they didn’t sleep together, but still ended up making someone angry. He talked to her about how bad things were with Stephanie. He invited Allie to drink with him. They start drinking while Alex talked about what happened with Stephanie. He held a lemon wedge in his mouth. She drank a shot and sucked on the lemon wedge. Chanel and Johnny walked in a saw them together. Chanel was upset seeing them together. Stephanie showed up at the Horton house because Chad texted her. He let her know that Alex knew they slept together. She let him know that she knew that Alex found out. She said that she got closure and was ready to be with him. He was happy about that and kissed her. The kids came in the room and wanted to spend time with Chad. They saw Chad and Stephanie together and wondered if they were dating. Chad wanted to make sure that they weren’t upset about them dating. Thomas wondered if they were getting married. Chad thought it was too early for that. He wanted to know if they wanted to spend time with Stephanie. They hugged her and agreed to hang out with her. Stephanie left the house so Chad talked with the kids about his relationship with her. He was so happy they were sweet to Stephanie. He told them that he loved them more than anything in the world. He said he loved her, but she would never replace Abby in his heart.

EJ found Stefan at home when he should have been working. Stefan said he was having second thoughts because of the way they treated Gabi. EJ asked if he wanted to reinstate her. Stefan said she was smart and driven. EJ asked what was wrong with him. Stefan told EJ about the deprogramming. EJ couldn’t believe it. He told Stefan he and Nicole drank the drinks before Gabi knocked him out. Stefan remembered drugging one of the drinks. EJ said the drink affected Nicole. Stefan was surprised that it affected her. Nicole showed up and said the drink was still affecting her. Stefan left to get her tea and toast. She apologized to EJ for throwing herself at him. She said she would understand if he didn’t want to move forward with her. He told her about Stefan being deprogrammed. Stefan came back with the tea and toast. She asked if he and Chloe were over. He said he was in love with both of them. She said she felt queasy and needed to get air. Gabi showed up at the police station. She told Jada that she needed to get to the interrogation room. Jada stopped her from going in the room. Gabi said she needed Rolf to finish deprogramming Stefan before it was too late.

Rafe told Rolf that turning on his partner was the only way he would avoid prison time. Rolf asked him who he expected him to say. Rafe wanted him to start with Kristen and Li. He gave him a pen and paper to write everything down. Gabi came in the interrogation room. She told Rafe to let Rolf go. Rafe told her to leave. She said she needed Rolf to finish what he was doing. Rolf said he couldn’t finish because the equipment was destroyed. She said she would pay for new equipment. She said she needed him to get Chloe out of Stefan’s head. While Rolf was writing down information, Jada came in and made Gabi leave. Jada said they would let Gabi know when Rolf was finished. Li talked to someone on the phone. He yelled at the person for letting Rolf get in Salem. He said he was about to lose everything. When he got off the phone, Sloan showed up. She said he sounded as if he needed a lawyer. He said he had a lawyer, but he could use her help. She said she would solve his problem with Rolf as well as keep Gabi from divorcing him. Li said he would hire her. Gabi ran into Li. She bragged about Stefan being in love with her. She said there was a complication. She said when Rolf finished his work, Stefan would want only her. Li said he wasn’t sure about that. She said Rolf was selling him out to the police. She said Li would be on his way to prison. Li said he wouldn’t be sure of that either. Brady ran into Eric at the pub drinking. Eric asked Brady to join him. Brady said he was sober and thought Eric was too. Eric thought he was trying to get him to go to a meeting. Eric said he missed his mother. Brady said he missed her too. Eric wanted to know how they would deal with it. Brady said they could lean on each other. They talked about Rachel being upset about Kristen being gone. Brady asked if he was drinking because of Nicole. Eric said that was ridiculous. He told him about his relationship with Sloan. Brady said the only reason why he was with Sloan was the mask the fact that he was pining over the love of his life. EJ told Stefan it was too risky not to be co-CEO and to bring Gabi back. Stefan agreed with him. EJ apologized for his role in stopping the deprogramming from happening sooner. He said he was glad Stefan forgave him. Stefan told him all was forgiven. When EJ turned his back, Stefan put a drug in his drink. When Rolf was finished writing down what Li and Kristen did, Rafe told him to sign the paper. Sloan came in and told Rolf not to sign the paper.

Stephanie went to see Sonny, but she ran into Alex. She thanked him for the card and the flowers. She also thanked him for apologizing to her. She told him that they couldn’t go back to what they had before. He wondered if it was because he turned off her phone or if it was because she slept with Chad. She said being with Chad wasn’t planned. She knew that he didn’t mean to turn off her phone, but she wanted to see where things went with Chad. He didn’t plan on begging her to take him back. She said when things settle down they might be able to be friends. Alex wasn’t happy about that. She didn’t want him to think she hated him. He apologized to her again. She thanked him and walked away. Chad found Julie looking through the photo album and thinking about the people she’s lost. She also thought about the people who struggled. She thought about Nick. Julie wished she had did more to help Nick. She hoped he suffered in the after life. Chad wanted Kayla, Kate and Marlena’s killer to suffer too. Julie talked about Abby with Chad. He told her about his relationship with Stephanie. Julie approved of his relationship with Stephanie. He said that he was looking forward to his future. Steve, John and Roman talk about how they’re going to take down Orpheus. Steve was going to get arrested so he could go to Statesville. John thought they should visit Orpheus and get him alone. Roman wanted to get Lucas involved in their plan. Roman planned to see Lucas.

Orpheus offered Lucas a bottle of alcohol. Lucas didn’t want it so Orpheus started taunting him with it. Lucas went off because he killed his mother. Orpheus said the person who stole the orchid was the person responsible for killing his mother. Orpheus left the alcohol there and walked out. Roman went to see Lucas. Lucas was surprised to see him considering what he did to Sami. He reminded Lucas that he was Kate’s son so he didn’t want him to be alone. Lucas told him that he was falling apart in there. He let Roman know that he had a run in with Orpheus. He gave Roman the bottle Orpheus gave him. He didn’t want to fall off the wagon. Roman thought it might not be a bad idea for him to drink. Kate, Kayla and Marlena were surprised to see Susan turn into Nick. They were shocked to find out that he was Jordan, Susan and Adrienne to get them to sell their souls. Kate wanted to know if he was the devil. He said the devil was a different person. He said he works for the devil. He said he had their signatures and just needed to collect. Kate tried to find a loophole, but she couldn’t find it. Kayla didn’t think the contract was legit since they didn’t know what they were signing. Nick reminded her that they weren’t in a courtroom. He said he had the final word. They refused to go with him until they spoke to his boss. Nick left it alone and told them that things were about to get worse for them.

Xander tells Sarah that he and Gwen slept together. Sarah said she shouldn’t be surprised that he would sleep with someone the night their marriage ended. She asked if it had to be Gwen. She said if he was looking for a way to get back at her for divorcing him, he did it. Gwen said Xander’s list of crimes was worse than hers, but Sarah had no problem taking off his kilt and having sex with him every chance she got. Sarah said she thought Xander wanted to change. Gwen said he only worked for Ava to support her in the lifestyle in which she has become accustomed. Sarah said it was no surprise Gwen would find kidnapping for hire acceptable even when someone dies. Sarah said they were free to be together. When she walked off, he told Gwen that he was sick of apologizing for who he is. He said he knew Jack and Sarah would always assume the worst in them no matter what they do. He said he wanted to prove them right and get back at them. Steve met with John and Roman at the pub. Steve told them they were going to kill Orpheus. Roman was hesitant about the plan. Steve said they let their wives down. He said Orpheus was after them, so they needed to finish him. John agreed with Steve. John wanted to get him. Roman didn’t think it was a good idea. John said if he didn’t talk Steve out of killing Orpheus, they would be with their wives. He said he was siding with Steve. Roman finally agreed with them.

Susan brought Marlena breakfast. Marlena wanted to know where Kayla was. Susan checked her list again. She said Kayla is in a good place. Marlena was relieved. Kayla banged on a door and wanted to get out of there. She turned around and saw Adrienne. She said she wished Steve and Justin could see her. Kayla said she was worried about Steve and the pain he was in. Adrienne said Steve would be okay with the help from his friends. Kayla said he tends to go in a dark place when he is in pain. Adrienne said she didn’t want her to stress over Steve. She said Kayla’s life was in paradise now. She gave Kayla a document to sign pledging her soul to God. Kayla signed the document and walked away from her. A devil voice was in Adrienne calling Kayla gullible. Her eyes glowed. Jordan welcomed Kate to purgatory. Kate said if she was stuck with her, she must have died and gone straight to hell. Jordan said she was in-between where souls were judged. Kate wanted to know who was judging her case. Jordan said she was. Kate said that wasn’t fair considering she hated her. They talked about Kate bringing Clyde back into their lives. Kate apologized. She said she was a good mother and Roman fell in love with her again. She asked if that meant she had a soul worth saving. Jordan said she made a good argument, but she had to sign the document confirming her contrition. She said the document would burn if she was lying. She said Kate would be doomed for eternity. Kate signed the document. When to document didn’t burn, Jordan said she was on the way to being a better person. She said she couldn’t send her to heaven, but she could send her to the next level. When Kate went on the stairs, Jordan’s eyes glowed. Marlena asked Susan about Kate. She asked if Kate made it to heaven. Susan said Kate was on a spiritual journey. She wanted Marlena to think about where she wanted to spend eternity. Marlena said she wanted to see the people she lost. Susan told her to sign the document so she could go on the next level of heaven. Marlena signed it. Kayla and Kate found Marlena. Susan came back for Kayla and Kate’s paperwork. She lets the women know that they didn’t see Adrienne, Jordan or Susan. The women were shocked at the person they saw.

Gwen showed up to see Xander. He pulled her into a kiss. He wanted her to take off her shirt. He wanted to make sure she wasn’t wearing a wire. He let her know that Leo told him everything. He knew that her showing up wasn’t just a coincidence. He thought she was helping her best friend. She slapped him. She let him know that she wasn’t turning him in to the police. She let him know that she chose him over her father. He was surprised that she chose him over her father. He thought she was crazy for turning on him. She was called worse than that. She knew she was crazy because he will be with Sarah. She was okay with it. Xander let Gwen know that Sarah dropped off divorce papers for him. He said he did everything he could, but she still wanted to leave. He said they were done for good. Gwen apologized to him, but he wasn’t sorry. She didn’t think they were over yet. She knew they were going to get back together. She didn’t want to risk getting hurt by getting together with him. He assured her that he couldn’t keep being with someone who insists on moving the goal post. He knew that Gwen had faith in him. She didn’t judge him. They kissed each other again. Sarah told Bonnie that she was finished with Xander. Bonnie didn’t believe her. She let Bonnie know that she walked in on him with Gwen. She said they were too different. Bonnie took the papers before Sarah could sign them. Sarah chased after her to get the papers back. Bonnie wanted her to think about her decision before she sign them. Allie and Alex ran into each other at the town square. She noticed the flowers and advised him not to bombard Stephanie. He told her about his talk with Paulina. He thought Stephanie would forgive him. They talked about what was going on with Stephanie and Chanel.

Chad arrived at Stephanie’s place to let her know how he felt about her. He got nervous, but he told her that it was time to move on from Abby. He said he was ready to move on with her. She was shocked that he felt that way. He told her about his conversation with Jack. He said he wouldn’t forget about her, but he couldn’t let that keep him from moving on with someone else. He didn’t want to miss out on a chance of being with someone great. She was upset at first because she wouldn’t have been with Alex. She got over it and kissed him. Alex walked up and saw them kissing. He left the flowers and walked away. Chad and Stephanie ended up making love. Stefan came too after being shocked. He wasn’t sure where he was and why he was tied up. Gabi yelled at Rolf for wiping out Stefan’s memories. Rolf said it wasn’t his fault because he didn’t have better equipment to use. Gabi pleaded with Stefan to remember what she meant to him. He wondered why Rolf was working on him. He realized that he loved Gabi. Rolf warned her that Stefan could be faking how he felt. Stefan assured her that he still loved her. They kissed each other. Anna and Chloe burst in the room and Stefan realized he loved both of them. Allie ran into Alex again. She wanted to know what happened with Stephanie. He was upset with himself for turning off her phone. He was going to regret it for life. He wanted to talk about Chanel. She said she didn’t bother going to talk to Chanel. She thought she would have been in the same boat. Rolf told Gabi that there was nothing he could do about Stefan loving her and Chloe. Gabi refused to accept it. He said he couldn’t fix anything without the right equipment. Stefan felt lucky to be in love with the most beautiful people in the world.

Xander woke up in bed with Gwen. He had a dream that Sarah wanted to be back with him. Gwen wondered if he was dreaming about Sarah. He said he was. She asked if sleeping with her was a mistake. He said it was a mistake, but on her part. He said she slept with a drunken loser while he slept with someone who gave up everything for him. He said she stood by him when no one else would. He said he wasn’t sure what he could offer her. He said he wasn’t sure if he was over her and wasn’t sure if he ever would be. She said she didn’t expect anything to come out of it. She said they could pretend nothing happened. He said he didn’t want to do that. He said he cared about her. He offered for her to stay with him if she needed a place to stay. She said she was fine. He wanted to take her out to eat, but he spent his money on scotch. He said he would get her another time. He said he wanted to talk and figure things out. When he went to the bathroom, she said she didn’t think there would be another time. Paulina asked Chanel why she was staying with her. Chanel told her what happened. Paulina said she agreed with Allie. Chanel said she loved Allie. Paulina asked why she wouldn’t deal with how she hurt Allie. Paulina said the way Allie treated her wasn’t right, but grief was powerful. She said Chanel had to get over it. Chanel said she was afraid Allie didn’t have anyone to help her deal with Marlena’s funeral. Paulina said she had her.

At Allie’s apartment, she and Alex talked about being hungover. She apologized to him for his underwear being missing. She said she would text him when she found them. He said he was glad they got a chance to hang out with each other. He left the apartment. Allie talked to Wendy about Alex. Allie said they had too much to drink so he slept in his office. She said nothing happened. Wendy asked why his underwear was missing. Allie said they slept in separate rooms. She told Wendy that Chanel moved out. Allie said she wanted Chanel to own up to what happened with Johnny so it wouldn’t happen again. Wendy said she wouldn’t mind that either. Allie said her brother was always impulsive with women. She told Wendy to find someone else. Chanel went home to see Allie. Chanel said she knew she hurt her. She said she missed her. Chanel wondered if Allie was okay when she didn’t change her attitude. Allie told her she and Alex got drunk last night. Allie apologized to her. Chanel found boxers short and wondered whose they were. Allie said they were Alex’s. She said nothing happened. Chanel left the apartment. Stephanie woke up and found Chad looking at the ceiling. She asked him if he had any regrets. He said it was amazing. He said it was strange to wake up to someone other than Abby. She said it has been a long time since he did. He said it wasn’t as long as she thought. He told her about cheating on Abby with Gwen. He said that was a mistake, but he and Stephanie weren’t a mistake. He said he was afraid the timing was off after everything that happened with Alex and her mother dying. She told him to put Alex out of his mind. Sarah and Gwen ran into each other. Gwen told her she was sorry about the divorce. Sarah said she knew Gwen was waiting to get back in Xander’s bed. Gwen said she didn’t have to worm her way back to Xander’s bed. She said he invited her. Sarah didn’t believe they slept together. Xander showed up and told her to believe it. He said there wasn’t much sleeping going on.
