Oh, Anna, I know, well, I’ve read, I’ve read articles about advanced medicine and I do know that even with high risk pregnancy, that there is a likelihood that there would be a positive outcome, you know, more than, than a few years ago. But I don’t wanna get my hopes up. Not to mention Eric’s, because if he is the father, then well, why would you be worried about getting his hopes up?

Because

he’s always wanted to be a dad. At first he lost Mackenzie, and then Jada was pregnant and he was over the moon. And then he found out that she got an abortion. And the only reason that we’re not together is because he blames me for, oh honey, that’s so unfair. That was her choice. I know, I know.

But if he is the father and I do miss Carrie, I will feel like I am taking yet another child away from him.

Why would you even ask me that, Eric? You know nothing about my brother. You just told me that he was more traumatized than you were by what happened. His anger took over him completely on the aftermath of their deaths. Okay, fine. Maybe he has motive. But my brother has nothing to do with those crimes. I mean, think about it.

Now, now the mayor, the mayor’s on her side trying to open up the bakery again, which means that she is gonna get away with it all over again. If you don’t help me. I thought young understood how important this was to me.

Why I have to do this to honor my parents’ memory and get justice for them, and if I don’t, I won’t be able to live in myself. No, I thought you were on my side. Talia, obviously I was wrong.

Excuse me. You want me to be the police commissioner? Well, given what Sloan Peterson has put you through, I assume that you’re willing to do whatever it takes to put her behind bars. Ms. STRask, Paul cannot. And will not go after that position. Besides the blatant nepotism, I believe in my wife’s capabilities, but I appointed rave police commissioner because I believe in him.

Maybe Colin’s gone for good, maybe he’s not, but I don’t wanna take any chances that he’ll find his way back into Talia’s life. You know? Especially since, since the whole thing with the drugged up biscuits. I know Talia gave all the right answers. When we questioned her, even though there were some red flags in her story, what I and, you know, unite, we kept questioning, you know, what her motive would be to sabotage Chanel’s Bakery.

What Nicole, you have to start taking care of yourself and the baby. That means no caffeine, no, no alcohol. And you have to start taking some prenatal vitamins as soon as possible.

I mean, so many crucial organ systems are forming in these first few weeks, right? I, I know that. So you’re gonna call Kayla and you’ll get a prescription for those vitamins. Will you do that today, please? I will. Yes, I definitely will. And Nicole, I know this is so difficult for you, but try looking on the bright side.

EJ is crazy about you and. If this baby is his, he will take care of you and this baby. 100%. And Eric, well you just told me that he’s always wanted to be a dad, so no matter what the complications are, are he’s sure to be thrilled. He’ll be thrilled, and he will also be there for you and the baby every step of the way.

So really, no matter what, this baby is going to bring a whole lot of joy to whomever. Wow, you were sugarcoating the hell out of that, but I, I am, I’m very grateful. You definitely lifted my spirits as only you can. Well, things are gonna look up, honey. Yeah, I promise.

I was at the hospital last night and I realized that my period was late. So Kayla ran some tests and it turns out that I’m pregnant with Eric’s baby. No, I mean, ma, maybe. Yeah, I’ve been up for a couple of hours and all I’ve had is some coffee and a bit of a donut. Right. Time for a hearty breakfast, so, What’s on the menu?

I made breakfast. Put this ungodly hour be really hard. Morning person, huh? Oh, well med school will do that to you. Yeah. It’s my, uh, my mom’s peppers and eggs.

Chanel de Priest’s Bakery was shut down by the health department’s. Terribly sad for Chanel. And her employee per thing, who’s now shacked up at the same CD motel I used to call her.

At one point Jada suspected Talia. Talia, what? That’s her sister. How could you even think that? Well, because, um, when, um, Ty and Chanel told us what happened the night before the biscuits were poisoned, there was, uh, a discrepancy in Talia’s story. She said when she left your place after dinner, that she went straight home, but she remembered that she came home a few hours later.

Natalia later said she misspoke. So you suspect Talia because she lost track of a couple of hours. We also learned when you thought that Sloan had stolen your keys, that Talia was there as well. Well, don’t you think I’d notice if Taja had stolen my keys? Well, you didn’t notice when Sloan did it. Talia also had a QM mate that day.

Plus she forgot to turn on the security camera, and as a doctor Talia would’ve had access to the drugs that were used.

So considering those discrepancies in Talia’s story and the. Fact that she’s an md. Well, you can understand why we believe that she might have had something to do with the poisoning, but when we question Talia, she had an explanation for everything. Of course she did. Talia couldn’t have had anything to do with something so, so Sarah’s sinister, so downright shameful.

And not to mention, so criminal, she’s, she’s a lovely girl with a good heart, right? Yeah. We couldn’t understand why she would’ve had anything to do with it either. Especially with no motive. Exactly. I can’t believe you even suspected her re is simply conducting a thorough investigation. Yeah, well, I, I do, I understand that, but Oh, oh, it just would be so awful if Charlie had something to do with this.

Especially, especially now. Wait, why now? Because she and my daughter are dating

So I’m not concerned at the moment, but I do think that you should do a follow up exam with your ob gyn given your medical history, especially in light of the fact that you’ve. I mean, we are out there fighting for our lives, and that’s the time he decides to get rid of me. But don’t worry, we’re gonna march into his office and we’re gonna raise some hell.

Steph? I didn’t know you were back from Greece. Yeah, we just got in a little while ago. Dr. Johnson. My god, I uh, I heard that you were alive, but to actually see you Yeah, it’s um, going to be back for sure. My dad’s gonna be really pumped that you’re back home. I hope he and Bonnie are doing well. They are, they’re fine.

And, um, I just wanna take a second to tell you how truly sorry I am. What, well, I don’t know if Stephanie told you or not, but, um, I was the reason why she wasn’t there for your last moments that I just thought, um, You know, it really doesn’t matter what I thought. I, uh, I did something really selfish and I’m gonna feel guilty, and I’m gonna feel terrible about it for the rest of my life.

Well, Stephanie told me what happened that day, how she missed the call about me and. How Ill I was, but it turned out that those were not my last moments that she missed. And now thank God I have time to share lots of moments with my family. But I, I, I appreciate your apology and, um, accept.
