Tate comforted Holly about Nicole. They were about to kiss when EJ walked in the mansion. She told him that she might know where Nicole was because of an app. EJ exploded because she didn’t mention it sooner. She told him that she forgot about it at the time. Tate defended her and EJ backed down. They let EJ know that Eric told them to wait at the mansion while he went to look for her. EJ left to find them. Nicole told Eric what happened during the crash. She talked about delivering the baby and why she let Dimitri take him to the hospital. She panicked when she remembered that Dimitri was wanted by the police and had her son. Eric tried to call Rafe, but there was no service. Eric comforted Nicole until EJ arrived. EJ overheard that Nicole gave birth and he was happy he had a son. He wondered why he didn’t see the baby. She didn’t answer him, and he got upset. Nicole and Eric tried explaining what happened. EJ told Eric he would take care of Nicole. He wanted him to tend to his own wife. After Eric left, EJ took Nicole to the hospital. They arrived at the hospital, and Nicole got settled. EJ assured her that he would find their son. Sloan didn’t expect to see Dimitri. He told her that Leo said she was a great lawyer. Dimitri needed her help. Sloan and Melinda wondered about the baby he was carrying. He told them the baby belonged to his Uncle EJ. Dimitri told them what happened with Nicole. He was about to leave because he thought they couldn’t help him. Melinda stopped him and told him they could help him. She took the baby from him and handed him to Sloan. Dimitri left before they could say anything to him.

Sloan wanted to call Rafe, but Melinda wanted to wait. Sloan realized Melinda wanted her to raise Nicole’s baby. She didn’t want to do that. Melinda insisted that it was the perfect solution to her problem. She would be raising Eric’s son. Sloan couldn’t do that to Nicole. Melinda told her to think about doing it. Melinda knew a doctor she could pay to check out the baby. She said the doctor could tell Nicole her baby died. Sloan didn’t give her an answer. Jada found Leo at the park. She wanted to know where Dimitri was. Leo tried to run, but Rafe arrived. They took him to the station to question him. Leo told them what happened to Nicole. He said Dimitri took the baby to the hospital to get checked out. Rafe and Jada warn him that his only chance was to tell them where to find Dimitri. Leo refused to help and wanted to make a phone call. They left so he could make his call. He called Dimitri. Leo informed him that he was arrested and told him to save himself.  Eric returned home, and Sloan told him that she had great news for him. She told him that Melinda said the baby was born that night. Melinda took the baby to a hotel and talked to him. She told him that Sloan made the right decision to raise him.

EJ heard Nicole’s car crash and he panicked. Nicole’s phone went dead. Holly walked in the room and overheard him. EJ admitted he heard a crash and he’s worried about Nicole. Holly got upset, but EJ assured her that he would find her. He wanted her to stay by the phone while he found her. EJ left to find Nicole. Eric and Tate talked about him marrying Sloan and adopting a baby with her. Holly walked in and told them what happened to Nicole. She couldn’t reach her mother on the phone. Tate told her that his parents made him turn his location on his phone. Holly remembered that Nicole did the same thing with her. She checked Nicole’s location and found it. Eric wanted her to go home while he went to find Nicole. Tate offered to go with her. Leo and Dimitri were relieved when their car stopped. Dimitri wanted to get to Rolf, but Leo wanted to check on the driver. They went to the car and saw that Nicole was the other driver. Leo and Dimitri thought Nicole died until she moaned. Leo wanted to stay and help her. They got her out the car, but she was in pain. Nicole informed Leo that she was in labor, and he had to help her. Leo got nervous so he talked himself into doing it. Leo helped her give birth to a boy. Leo and Dimitri wrapped the baby up. Nicole became emotional while she held him.

Nicole thought something might be wrong since her baby was born prematurely. She wanted to take her baby to the hospital. Leo was afraid to move her in case she had internal injuries. He suggested that Dimitri take the baby to the hospital to get checked out. Leo volunteered to stay with Nicole until help arrived. Leo and Dimitri made a plan to meet in the park after he takes the baby. Nicole gave Dimitri her baby. Leo promised her that her baby would be okay. Dimitri took the baby to the hospital. Eric showed up after Dimitri left. Nicole told him that she gave birth as Leo left. Eric wondered what happened to the baby. Rafe found Jada and wanted her to get her head checked out. She beat herself up for letting Dimitri and Leo get away. He assured her that it wasn’t her fault. Rafe insisted that she get checked out. She argued with him but had trouble standing up. He took her to the hospital. Later, Rafe and Jada arrived at the hospital, and she got a CT scan. EJ ran into Rafe in the lobby. He told him about Nicole. He wanted Rafe to do everything he could to find Nicole. Rafe assured him that he would help her, but most of his officers were looking for Dimitri and Leo. EJ didn’t want to hear that, and the guys got into an argument. EJ felt he was dragging his feet because of what happened to Gabi. Dimitri saw Rafe and EJ at the hospital. He heard Rafe vow to track him and Leo down. Dimitri turned away before Rafe saw him. Rafe went to Jada’s room and saw that she was gone. Leo waited for Dimitri at the park and got a shock when Jada was waiting found him. Sloan got upset when Melinda told her the birth mother changed her mind after hearing about her past. The mother wouldn’t let anyone like Sloan raise her baby. Sloan wanted to tell Eric the truth. She thought they could work things out. Melinda thought he would break up with her. She convinced Sloan not to tell Eric anything. Melinda promised to find her another baby. Sloan thought it would take too long. She was about to leave when Dimitri showed up holding a baby.

Melinda told Sloan and Eric that she had a baby boy for them. They were excited and Eric left to buy things for the baby. After he left, Sloan knew something was wrong with Melinda. She told Sloan that the baby was promised to another couple. Melinda planned to bribe the couple’s lawyer so they would lose the baby. Sloan panicked about it. Melinda warned her that they needed that baby because another one won’t come for a long time. Melinda offered to call off the deal with the other lawyer, but Sloan told her not to do it. She told Sloan that nothing else would matter once they hold their baby in their hands. Roman shocked Nicole when he told her that she and EJ got married the same day Eric and Sloan did. She was surprised that Eric got married. She left the pub and ran into Eric. Nicole noticed the baby things he bought. She asked him if that meant he and Sloan had a baby. Nicole was happy for them, but she wondered why he didn’t tell her they got married the same day. He explained why he didn’t tell her about his wedding. He had mixed feelings about it. Melinda got a call from the lawyer telling her the deal was off.

Chad ran into EJ at the town square. He talked to him about Everett staying in town. EJ advised him to buy the newspaper so he could be Everett’s boss. Everett went to see Stephanie. She informed him that he couldn’t show up unannounced. He apologized, but he needed her help with the paper. Everett informed her what happened at the paper. He wanted the paper to distance itself from Leo, but she didn’t think it was a good idea. They continued talking until Chad arrived. She informed him that The Spectator was their new client. Dimitri and Leo didn’t expect Jada to show up at the motel. She told them they were under arrest and drew her gun. Jada wanted Leo to put the handcuffs on Dimitri. He told her that his wrists were too big. She looked down to get her zip ties, and Dimitri took his gun from her to use against her. Jada told him that backup was on the way. Dimitri and Leo didn’t believe her. Dimitri demanded her keys, and she gave them to him. He wanted to kill Jada, but Leo didn’t think he should do it. Leo reminded Dimitri that he wasn’t a killer. Dimitri decided to knock her out instead of killing her. He threw the gun on the bed before they left the motel. Dimitri and Leo took Jada’s car to meet Rolf. Leo told him that Rolf wasn’t going to wait much longer. They needed to get there. Dimitri drove faster to get to the submarine in time. Nicole was on the road to meet EJ. Leo warned Dimitri to slow down because the road was slick. He told him that he drifted to the other lane. Nicole saw headlights and screamed.

Belle informed EJ that she was representing Gabi and planned to fight hard for her client. She thought he used his position as D.A. to get back at Gabi and Stefan for getting him fired from the family business. He told her that he didn’t know anything about Gabi when he accepted the position. EJ wondered what Belle planned to do about the mounting evidence against Gabi. Rafe and Jada talked about Gabi’s case. She told him there were two sets of prints on the knife. Gabi and Li’s prints were on it. Stefan visited Gabi at the station. She thought she was going to prison. He assured her that he would get her out of there. Rafe told Stefan what was on the knife. He told Gabi they were investigating the case. Belle arrived at the station, and they talked about Gabi’s arraignment. She informed everyone that EJ planned to make sure Gabi didn’t get bail. EJ arrived at the station and gloated. Stefan grabbed him by the throat. Stefan was going to hit EJ when Rafe stopped him. EJ warned Gabi to enjoy Statesville.

Jada went to see Wendy and questioned her about Li’s emotional state before he was killed. Wendy yelled at her for implying that Li committed suicide and framed Gabi for it. Jada wanted the truth. Gabi couldn’t believe the judge didn’t grant her bail. Belle and Stefan assured her that they would appeal it and ask for a new judge. Later, Belle ran into EJ in the park. She yelled at him for not offering Gabi bail. Belle let him now that she planned to appeal it. EJ wasn’t worried about her. She knew he was doing it to get revenge. Belle warned him that he wouldn’t win the war. She told him that Stefan wants revenge against him. Gabi called Arianna and told her what happened. She swore she was innocent. Stefan and Gabi shared an emotional goodbye before she went to prison. Rafe let Gabi know that he had to get her ready for Statesville.

John and Marlena celebrated their anniversary. They were thankful to spend another anniversary together. Brady and Eric helped John celebrate their anniversary. Roman caught Steve and Kayla up on what happened to Gabi. He let them know that Gabi faced a murder charge. Sarah comforted Maggie on what would have been her anniversary. Konstantin eavesdropped on their conversation. Maggie offered to go to court with Sarah. Sarah didn’t want her to focus on her case on her anniversary. Sarah knew she hoped she and Xander would make up, but it wasn’t going to happen. Maggie warned her to prepare for the possibility that she might lose custody of her baby. Maggie apologized for the way she talked to her. Sarah understood what she told her. Sarah didn’t see a way for her and Xander to work things out. Steve and Kayla arrived at the mansion to see Maggie. Kayla was happy that Sarah was coming back to work. Sarah told Maggie that she was back part time. she had to prove she could support her daughter. Sarah walked out the room and Konstantin went in to see Maggie. Maggie introduced him to Steve and Kayla. Konstantin let Steve know that he heard about him from Victor and told Kayla that she was as beautiful as her mother. He saw a picture of Caroline. He gave Maggie a table that Victor had in Greece. Maggie and Konstantin left the room. Steve let Kayla know that he was suspicious of Konstantin. Steve looked around and saw the receipt for the tablecloth. He thought that proved Konstantin lied to Maggie.

Later, Steve and Kayla went to the pub and talked to Roman about Konstantin. Steve decided he wanted to investigate Konstantin. He wanted to inform John that he wanted Black Patch to investigate Konstantin. Theresa ran into Konstantin at the town square. He wanted to know how it was going with Alex. She informed him that it was going slowly, but he would get his money. He warned her that he better get his money. Xander spotted Theresa with Konstantin. He wondered why she was with him. She lied about why they were talking. He didn’t believe her, but she thought he was jealous that Alex was Victor’s heir and not him. She walked away from him. Xander ran into Sarah and the baby. They had a tender moment about working things out with the baby when Eric arrived. He got upset that Xander wanted him to testify against Sarah.

EJ yelled at someone on the phone to have Wei Shin call him. Nicole saw him on the phone and took it from him. she wanted to consummate their marriage. He wanted that too but was upset about what Stefan and Gabi did. Nicole assured him that they will get everything back from them. She reminded him that it was their wedding night, and she could take him mind off his problems. Tripp covered Li’s body with a sheet. Wendy was upset and asked him if he heard what Li said before he died. Tripp confirmed that Li said Gabi did it. Wendy was upset that Gabi killed her brother. She wanted to make her pay for what she did. She realized she had to tell their father what happened to him. She knew her father would want revenge. Tripp assured her the cops would get justice for Li. Stefan told Harris that Gabi didn’t kill Li. Harris told him that Gabi was holding the knife and Li identified her as his attacker. Harris handcuffed her and bagged the knife. Gabi begged Stefan not to let them arrest her. He promised not to let anything happen to her. He assured her that everything would be okay, but he wasn’t sure about that. Paulina arrived at the DiMera mansion and asked EJ to be Deputy Mayor. He rejected the position because he wanted to work for the family business. She reminded him that he didn’t have a job and she wanted to look out for him. Paulina wanted to look out for him because their children are dating.

Jada filled Rafe in about Li at the station. Harris brought Gabi to the station. Rafe questioned Gabi in the interrogation room. Gabi assured him that she didn’t do it. She told him what happened when she found Li’s body. Rafe believed her. She let him know that she was being framed. Rafe wanted to know why Li texted her. She told him that she used Rolf to blackmail Li so he could give up his shares. Melinda was shocked when she found out what happened to Li. She saw Wendy and Tripp and offered her condolences. Wendy didn’t believe her. She knew Melinda tried to take him down. Melinda assured her that she liked Li. She regretted putting her professional life before her personal life. Tripp got a call that the police were finished at the apartment. Gabi defended blackmailing Rolf. They argued about it until she said she needed him. She couldn’t go back to prison after what happened the last time. Gabi begged him to help her. He told her that she would be okay. Rafe let her know that Li wanting revenge gives him a motive to set her up. He let her know that Li was obsessed with her. Rafe reminded her that she took everything but revenge. She didn’t think the jury would buy that. Later, Rafe told Jada and Harris that Gabi was innocent. He hoped someone else’s prints were on the knife. Stefan arrived at the station and assured Gabi that he wouldn’t let anything bad happen to her. She wants to find out who set her up for murder. EJ arrived at the station and told Stefan and Gabi that he’s the new DA. He looked forward to making Gabi his first conviction.

Stefan arrived at Li’s apartment and found Gabi holding a knife while Li was on the floor. Li was bleeding from a stab wound. Stefan asked her why she killed Li. She assured him that she didn’t do it. She let him know that Li called her and said the stock certificates were fake. He ordered her to come there if she wanted the real ones. Gabi told him that when she got there Li’s door was open, and he was dead. Stefan told her that Li lied to her because the certificates were real. She was shocked that Li tricked her. Stefan wanted to know why she was holding a knife. Gabi panicked and picked it up again. She wondered if she should wipe her fingerprints off it. Before they could do anything, Wendy and Tripp arrived. Wendy screamed when she saw Li on the floor. Tripp checked his pulse and said he wasn’t dead. They called an ambulance and Wendy went to the hospital with Tripp and Li.

Chad spotted Stephanie and Everett hugging. He wanted to know why they were hugging. Stephaie introduced them, and Chad blasted him for hurting her. Stephanie and Everett explained what happened between them. Chad backed down and asked how long he was staying in Salem. Everett told him that he was moving there since he found a job. Chad wasn’t happy about it. Everett assured him that he wouldn’t go after Stephanie because he knows she’s happy with him. After Everett left, Chad and Stephanie argued about him. Stephanie told him they just hugged. She wanted to be polite to him. Chad compared the situation to her relationship with Alex. She told him that it wasn’t the same. She let him know that she liked  the idea that someone thought she was an amazing person. Gabi panicked and wondered if they should take the knife and leave. Stefan reminded her that Wendy already saw the knife in her hand. He wanted to wait for the police so they could tell what happened. Wendy wanted to know who stabbed her brother. Tripp and the doctors helped Li. Li flatlined and died. Wendy couldn’t handle it and broke down. Harris showed up at Wendy’s apartment and Gabi wondered how Li was doing. Harris let her know that Li died. She wondered if he named his killer. Harris told her that Li said she killed him. He arrested her.

This episode of Days of Our Lives has a Halloween theme. Eric and Sloan watched a horror movie when he received a called about his former parishioner dying. They rushed to the hospital. Eric prayed over his body. Sloan and Nicole ran into each other. They argued until Eric approached them. He warned them they needed to follow him if they wanted to live. Eric took them to an exam room. They didn’t believe zombies were after them until they saw hands coming through the door. Nicole blamed herself for what happened since she lied about a virus outbreak. She lied so she could swab Eric’s cheek. Sloan confessed that Eric is the father of Nicole’s baby. Eric and Nicole wanted more information so Sloan explained everything. Eric felt pain and realized a zombie bit him. He found out he got infected with a virus. He found a bottle of sedative and a syringe. He gave them to Sloan. He wanted her to kill him before he became a zombie. She couldn’t do it. He asked Nicole to inject him and she did it. Eric died and Sloan blamed her for killing him. Nicole injected her too and warned her that she would die for what she did. Sloan watched Nicole promise Eric that she would take care of their baby. Sloan woke up and realized she had a bad dream. Holly wanted Tate to help her get to Johnny. She wanted him to pretend to stalk her. He hesitated, but eventually agreed to help her. Holly ran to get Johnny and let him know about the stalker. Johnny went to check, but no one was there. Holly checked and got stabbed by the masked stalker. The stalker ran away. Johnny left to take care of Holly’s cut. Tate walked in the room and Holly yelled at him for stabbing her. He said he didn’t do it. Tate wanted to find the person and he was killed. Johnny got killed too. Holly confronted the stalker who turned out to be Chanel. Chanel killed them because she knew Holly had feelings for Johnny. Holly woke up and saw Johnny and Chanel making out.

Stephanie let Chad know that she found a way to give him what he wanted. She found a book and could conjure up a spell to bring Abby back. Chad didn’t believe her, but Kayla showed up to help with the spell. They needed something that belonged to Abby. Chad didn’t have anything. Stephanie had Abby’s ring. They performed the seance, but it didn’t seem to work. There was a knock on the door and Steve was there. He warned them not to do the spell because it would bring back an evil Abby. He pulled out his gun and said they had to kill her before she comes after them. Chad wouldn’t let Steve do that and struggled with him for the gun. The lights went out and Steve was on the floor. Stephanie saw Abby. Abby broke Steve’s neck. Kayla tried to revive Steve while Chad went looking for Abby. He came back and saw Steve and Kayla dead. Stephanie told him that Abby did it. She said she shot her many times, but it didn’t do anything. She saved one bullet for him, but he woke up. Paulina had a nightmare while she and Abe were watching a movie. In her nightmare, she found out a homicidal maniac was on the loose. The lights went out momentarily. When they came back on, Abe was passed out on the floor. Paulina wondered who did that to him. Whitley confessed that she did it. Paulina noticed she had a rolling pin in her hand. Abe woke up and said he remembered everything. He remembered Whitley being his wife. She showed him their wedding picture, but Whitley was standing beside him. It turns out that Paulina is Whitley. Whitley hit Paulina with the rolling pin. Paulina woke up from her nightmare.

Leo had a dream that Rafe and Jada found him and Dimitri. Dimitri comforted him, but he let him know they had to leave town soon. They talked about escape plans, and Dimitri wanted Megan’s help. Leo didn’t like the idea of getting her help. Dimitri explained their situation and, Leo finally agreed to look for Megan. They had to get their money together so they could look for her. They didn’t have enough money, but Leo remembered the petty cash he could get from the paper. The money was in his room at the Inn. Leo came up with the idea that they could dress up so they could blend in with the people in the town square. Kayla gave Rafe her statement about Dimitri. She wondered if he had any leads. Rafe let her know they didn’t have any leads, but they were getting close. She was embarrassed that Dimitri and Leo got the drop on her.

Someone knocked on the door and Ava answered it. A man named Gil Carter wanted to talk to her. He works for Clyde. She told him that she told Clyde she wouldn’t work for him. Gil reminded her that Tripp would be killed if she didn’t do it. She wondered if Gil was the one who attacked Tripp, he told her that he didn’t do it. Tripp came out while they were talking. Gil told him that he worked at a restaurant and wanted her to be the new manager. He was thrilled that she accepted the job. Ava and Gil were at the town square, and he tried to convince to get out of Clyde’s deal. She said her heart wasn’t in it so it wouldn’t work. He warned her that she didn’t have a choice. She tried to find a replacement for him.  Harris and Jada arrived and he wondered if Ava was okay.

Theresa didn’t expect Konstantine when she opened her door. He informed her that he’s staying with Maggie. Theresa thought about Konstantine being at Alex’s hotel room in Greece while she read Victor’s will. He couldn’t believe Victor didn’t leave him money when his father gave him money to start his empire. He told him to change his will because he thought he would leave him something. He found the letter that named Victor’s son. They were shocked when they discovered Victor’s son was Xander. Theresa got the idea to change the will. Konstantine agreed to handle the forgery. Theresa told him what happened after he left the room. She let him know that she started a fight with Brady in front of Alex. She also told him that she’s staying with Alex. She didn’t know when she could get his payment to him. He told her that he would find a way to stay in Salem longer. Xander went to Alex’s place. He demanded Alex quit Titan and give Maggie her job back. Alex refused and they argued about it. Alex reminded Xander that he’s Victor’s son and the only one who could make the decision.

Eric and Sloan talked about being parents. He told her that he ran into Nicole at the hospital. He told Sloan that Nicole got another copy of her genetic test results. Sloan panicked when she heard that news. She made up an excuse to leave. She lied and told Eric she was meeting a client. EJ almost wrote on the test results when Nicole stopped him. She told him what’s in the envelope. He teased her about losing the other copy. He wanted to look at the envelope, but he got interrupted by a call. Sloan showed up and watched him at the back door. She waited for an opportunity to switch the envelopes. Nicole went to check on Holly and EJ opened the door when the bell rang. It allowed Sloan the opportunity to sneak inside to switch the envelopes. Sloan took the wrong envelope when she switched them. She ended up taking the fake envelope with her. EJ returned and put the envelope in his safe.

Xander went to see Sloan to talk about his chances at winning custody of Victoria. She reminded him that Sarah was mad at him for trying to take their child. He reminded her that Sarah didn’t think about his feelings when she lied about the baby’s paternity. She felt like they should convince the judge that Sarah’s a pathological liar and mentally unstable. Xander didn’t want to do that. Sloan warned him that he had to be ruthless if he wanted custody of Victoria. He tried to defend Sarah’s mental instability. Sloan insisted they had to do whatever it took to win. Melinda showed up to see Sloan so Xander chose to leave. Sloan wanted to tell Eric the news, but Melinda didn’t have good news for her. She told Sloan that the adoption might be complicated because of her feud with Paulina. She also had a problem because she covered up for her brother. She begged Melinda to help her get a baby. Melinda promised to help her. Sarah met with Justin to talk about the custody case. She told him that Xander wanted full custody. Justin reminded her about what she had going for her. He did tell her that she had to think about what Xander had on her. She thought her situation was different. He warned her that Xander could use her mental history against her. Sarah believed he wouldn’t go that far. Justin informed her that custody battles bring out the worst in people. She wanted to leave to check on Victoria. Xander arrived and confronted Jusitn about representing Sarah. After his conversation with Justin, he called Sloan. He wanted her to do whatever she needed to do so they could win.

Eric and Nicole ran into each other at the hospital. Nicole asked about the adoption. He felt like it was going well thanks to Melinda. She hoped Eric got the chance to be a father. A nurse interrupted them to give Nicole her prescription. Nicole asked her for another copy of her genetic analysis. She got the copy for her. Later, Eric went to Sloan’s apartment. She lied to him and said Melinda said they could adopt a baby. Konstantin expressed his gratitude to Maggie for showing him around town. He believed Victor found true love with her. He offered to cook. Sarah arrived and told Maggie that Xander planned to sue for sole custody. The news shocked Maggie. Maggie assured her that Justin would take care of everything.

Tate met with Brady at the pub. He informed Tate that Roman agreed that he could work at the pub. Tate was against the idea. He didn’t think he could pay off the debt as a dishwasher. Brady didn’t agree with him. Tate went off because he thought Brady was being overprotective because he lost Willow. Brady tried to tell him it wasn’t true, but he didn’t believe it. He apologized to him for not being there for him. Tate offered to help him see Rachel. He explained how he would go see Rachel at the DiMera mansion. Kristen and Holly came back from shopping when Holly arrived. She yelled at Rachel so Kristen wanted to get to the bottom of the situation. Holly explained what happened. Kristen sent Rachel out the room. Kristen offered to give her money to get along with Rachel. They talked about Holly’s feelings for Johnny. Tate arrived while they were talking about Johnny. He wanted to see Rachel so she left to get her. Holly and Tate talked about her feelings for Johnny. Stefan and Gabi discussed how they would use Rachel to get to Kirsten. Stefan thought they should corner Kristen and make her feel desperate. Gabi suggested they kidnap Rachel. He didn’t want to do that. He thought they should blackmail the judge who granted Kristen custody of Rachel. Gabi thought the idea was risky. She thought they should go to Brady and get his help. She thought they should come up with fake evidence he could use against Kristen so he could get Rachel back. They thought about things they could say about Kristen.

Rafe and Jada were at the hospital to get Dimitri. They ran into Kayla. Rafe became impatient waiting to get Dimitri. She couldn’t sign Dimitri out until she examined him. She said a doctor had to sign him out. Kayla wanted to get another doctor to do it, but he wanted her to do it. Dimitri begged Leo to help him escape the hospital. Leo agreed to help him. They brainstormed to figure out a way to get Dimitri out of the hospital. He saw a paperclip and tried to pick the lock. Rafe and Jada considered taking Dimitri without clearance, but Kayla arrived so she could examine him. Kayla arrived in Dimitri’s room to examine him and saw Leo in the room. She wanted him to leave the room, but he didn’t want to go. She insisted that he leave. She went to his bed, and she was surprised that his cuff was open. Dimitri grabbed her arm. He cuffed her to the bed. Leo came back dressed as a nurse and took Dimitri out the room. Rafe and Jada went to Dimitri’s room and found Kayla handcuffed to the bed.

Gabi wanted Stefan to talk to her. He was upset that she turned his mother in to the police. She defended her actions to him. She reminded him that they have Dimitri and Megan’s shares for the company. She said Dimitri would be out of their lives since he’s going to jail. EJ walked in the room. They talked about Dimitri. He wanted to know what happened to make Dimitri want to kill them. Gabi told him they found out about his affair with Leo. She told him about the plan to blackmail him. Stefan interrupted her and explained that they wanted his money. Stefan filled him in about Gwen getting Dimitri’s money. EJ had to do something, so he left. Gabi wondered why Stefan lied to him. Stefan thought it was best not to tell him everything. Leo was upset with Dimitri for risking his life when he promised he wouldn’t do it. He hoped Gwen took all his money. EJ arrived at the hospital to see Dimitri. Leo called him out for having fake sympathy. Leo questioned why EJ was there. EJ admitted that he wanted to talk to Dimitri about his and Megan’s shares. EJ offered to vote the shares since he couldn’t do it from prison. Dimitri let him know that he didn’t have the shares anymore. EJ wondered what happened to them. Dimitri explained that he signed them over to Stefan and Gabi. Leo interjected and informed him that Gabi and Stefan blackmailed him for the shares. Leo explained what happened to Dimitri. Rafe and Jada arrived at the hospital to talk to Dimitri. They informed him that he was going to jail once he was released from the hospital. They gave Leo and Dimitri some time alone. Dimitri wanted him to help him escape the hospital.

Paulina went to Marlena for advice about Abe. Marlena advised her to accept the fact that Abe might not get his memory back. She told her that Abe might feel like he’s letting her down by not remembering their lives together. Paulina thought her relationship with Abe might be over. She can’t lose Abe. Marlena told her to create new memories with him. Abe went to see John. He was looking for Belle. John wanted to know why he wanted to talk to her. Abe wanted to talk about getting a divorce. John thought things were getting better between them. They were better, but Paulina thought his amnesia was gone when he remembered the decanter. John wondered if he was mad at Paulina, but he wasn’t mad at all. He wanted the divorce before it was too late. John gave him advice on how to handle his relationship with Paulina. Gabi and Stefan discussed the shares for the company. They talked about the votes they were getting. Gabi thought they should take Kristen’s votes the way they got Dimitri. She wanted to exploit Kristen’s weakness the way they did with Dimitri. EJ stormed in the room. He was furious with them for what they did to get Dimitri’s shares. EJ believed he and Stefan called a truce, but he went behind his back. EJ intended to get revenge.

Ava went to see Clyde at the station. She wanted to know why he tried to kill Tripp. He told her it was a warning. She wondered what he wanted. He wanted her to run his drug business. He blamed her for why he lost the last person who worked with him. He said she owed him. Ava didn’t understand why she owed him. Clyde explained how she ruined his plan. He worked with Edmund to kidnap Susan. She was supposed to be leverage so EJ could run the business. Ava refused to do it. Clyde threatened to kill Tripp if she didn’t do it. Rafe read Shawn’s resignation letter. She was sad that he was leaving, but she was glad he wasn’t going to be around her sister anymore. Rafe had to find a partner for her. They’re short staffed so he had to hire someone outside. Harris showed up at the station while they were talking. Harris talked to him about a job. Rafe gave him a hard time before hiring him. Harris thought he could get a confession out of EJ. Rafe had another case in mind for him. Talia ran into Belle and apologized to her. She informed Belle that she didn’t plan on being at the station. Belle told her that Shawn was leaving so it didn’t matter anyway.

Talia was shocked and she told her that she and Shawn were still together. Belle didn’t want her to talk to her again. Later, Jada arrived to talk to Talia. She told her about her conversation with Belle. Talia informed her that she wasn’t going to be in Salem long. Jada wanted to know what she meant by that. Talia informed her about her plans to go back to California. Jada told her that she had a good life there. Talia let her know that she didn’t have a good life there. She wanted to leave anyway. Talia left to pack. Chad was at the park and talked to Abby. He told her that he loved and missed her. He talked about the plans for her birthday. He couldn’t let go of his anger towards Clyde for what happened. He knew she would want him to get over it, but he couldn’t do it. Chad went to the mansion to see EJ. They talked about Abby. They regretted not killing Clyde when they had the chance. Ava met with Harris. He told her that Rafe offered him a job at the station. He told her that his job was to find out who took Susan to Edmund. Jada and Talia said goodbye to her.
