THIS STILL NEEDS EXTENSIVE EDITING!

Mama, look how beautiful mama.

Oh, just, just put, put a bit all the, okay.

All right. And here is the note.

You can read it.

Okay. Dear Paulina and Chanel, we are very sorry for your unimaginable loss. You are in our thoughts and we are here for you. Whatever you need, always love John and Marlin.

Such good friends. I’ve loved Abe so much. I’m sure they must be grieving too. Um, I should send them something.

No, mama. Right now you just need to take care of yourself. Okay.

Come on buddy. You gotta be out here somewhere.

Is that you buddy?

Hello, John.

I knew that I’d find you. Oh, I gotta tell Paulina. I’m sorry, John. I can’t stay. What do you mean you can’t stay? Goodbye old friend.

No, no, no. Don’t believe. Don’t go Abraham. Abraham. Don’t go.

What are you doing with that paper?

Did you, did you see the paper? They’re saying that my dad is dead. The, they’re saying that Commissioner Hernandez thinks so too. All the people that I need and love, I I just keep losing them. You haven’t lost me, Theo. I’m right here. Hi.

Like Sam through the hour class. So are the of

So does this mean No, I, I haven’t been released from prison, but Eli convinced the warden to grant me a furlough for dad’s funeral. I just have to wear this, honey. Thank God you’re here. I love you. I’m so grateful I could be here. I’m just, I’m so sorry, Theo. I wasn’t here when dad first went missing, and I wish we could have waited together or maybe I could have helped find him.

No, babe, we went over this. There’s nothing that you could have done that Steve, John, or Raf didn’t try. Helis, right? Everybody was looking for him, and even though he’s the most well-known man in Salem, nobody saw him on a single soul. I just, I don’t get it money. I don’t get it either. Hey, but we have to be strong for each other.

Okay. And we have to take care of each other. Okay. Because that is what dad would’ve wanted. Okay. I love you.

You didn’t even come to bed last night. Well, I knew I wouldn’t be able to sleep,

just be going over this stuff again. I still can’t believe Abe just walked off the docks, fell in the water, and drowned even though all the evidence points to that evidence can be fabricated. Is that what you think happened? It’s just too easy. Sweetness. It’s too pat.

Oh, thank you. You woke up drenched in sweat, calling out Abe’s name. Yeah. They’re one of those damn nightmares.

Do you wanna talk about it?

Yeah.

I was down at the docks and I found. And we, we were, we were face to face. I was talking to him and before I could call Paulina to tell him that he was okay, he was gone. And I, I couldn’t stop cock. I tried it. I, uh, I couldn’t stop on my eye.

No wonder the dream was so upsetting for you. Paulina trusted that Steve and I were gonna find him, and I let her down.

Let him down.

So, did you hear me? What are you doing with that paper? I was, I was getting rid of it before you woke up. Why? Because I didn’t want you to get upset. Why am upset now? I don’t like being handled. Okay. I’ll tell you something terrible happened down at the docks. A local man who had gone missing was found in the water.

He drown? Yes. Yes. Well, at least now his poor family can have closure for weeks. They had been looking for him. Well, I, I feel sorry for them. And for him, but I’m not falling apart. And now I’d like to read that story for myself.

Lasagna from the bistro, from Maggie and Victor, Kiki. How nice we can have it for dinner with the green beans that Julie brought over.

What, just, uh, don’t you think it’s maybe time for you to take a shower and get dressed? Not yet, darling. Not right now. Right now I getting dressed reminds me of just wanting to look my best for my sweet husband, and without him here I. No, I just, I just need to sit here right now. Come, come sit with me.

Sit with me.

No. Excuse me. I’m sorry, Abe. I’m putting my foot down. The details are just too upsetting and the doctor said that we have to keep your stress levels low, you know, to a minimum, so we avoid another seizure. I feel fine. Well, you felt fine before the last one, didn’t you? You know, you’re not the only one going through this.

You know, I’m, I’m, I’m scared. I’m scared all the time.

I, I’m sorry. I, I, I wasn’t thinking, I, I, I know this is, this isn’t easy for you. I, I just can’t lose you. Okay. I get it. I get it. I’m, I’m sorry. Then, then I have to go to work and I have to leave you at home alone. Look, I feel, I feel fine. You, you don’t have to worry about me. Okay. Well, I, I better go and get ready now.

Get ready to go to work.

And believe me, darling, I’m doing this for you. This is what’s best for you.

You are being too hard on yourself. You and Steve did everything you could to find a, obviously we didn’t do enough. Right?

You know what the worst part is?

We gave Pauline hope. We told her, it just doesn’t make any sense how he could have got from wherever he was all the way down to the dock without somebody recognizing him and calling the cops. Don’t you believe that? I still believe that. I don’t know how he could have done it or why he fell in the water, but then you got the hospital bracelet.

His name’s on it. The blood. Most important. You have an eyewitness, the only person who saw him these last two weeks. Finally, somebody sees Abe. And what happens the next minute he falls off the dock and drowns in the river.

So you, you got to see Joseph Carter? I did. Uh, I cannot tell you how wonderful it was just to hold my babies and my arms without a prison matron. Just watching me like a hawk. Yeah. They’re with my mom now. We do wish we could have brought them, but obviously they’re, they’re too young to deal with all this.

Right. But we, we know how much they left their grandpa. Yeah. And we did tell them what happened, but they didn’t seem to understand, which is a, a good thing for now.

They seem to be starting fireworks early.

Oh my God. 4th of July. It’s, it’s your anniversary.

What’s wrong? Are you guys fighting? No. No. Theo No we’re not. You’ve given everything that’s been thrown at us this year. I think, uh, we’re doing pretty damn well. So why did you both seem so we’re gonna say it was your anniversary cause we decided that we’re not gonna celebrate this year. Because of Dad Lonnie.

That is the reason why you should celebrate, you know how happy he was about you and Eli, how, how he love that you two got married and how he was over the moon when the babies were born. I know, I know Theo, but to have champagne and a fancy dinner without him there, I can’t do it. I’m sorry. I can’t do it.

I’m sorry, Lonnie, I didn’t mean to upset you. Come here. Yeah. I think we better our head over to Pauline is You wanna come with us? No, I’ll, um, I’ll come over later. I think she’s gonna wanna spend some time alone with you. Yeah. And there’s something I have to do. What do you mean to Pat? Well, first of all, do you really think Abe was physically capable of getting outta the hospital on his own?

At the time I didn’t think so, but I suppose it’s possible. Okay. Well, S AA did wander off on his own. Salem PD puts out an a p b, and for weeks the cops and a whole army of volunteers search for one of the best known men in the city. And no one reports seeing anyone they even think might have been a and one day, weeks later.

The first person to lay eyes on Ave sees him at the exact moment. He walks into the water and drowns, and then the case is closed, all tied up with the ribbon. Something doesn’t add up, baby.

So you’re saying that if egg was so confused and so out of it, he just, he just walked off a dock into the river then how did he survive the weeks before that? No, he was, uh, not only suffering from Amnesia, he was recovering from a head injury. So what did he negotiate the streets on his own. Would you still think that it was Colin Bedford that did it?

I know maybe he kidnapped Abe, I don’t know. But he was in jail most of the time. Abe was missing if someone wasn’t looking after Abe. I don’t understand how he didn’t end up in social services. And thanks to Abe Salem is very proactive in helping the homeless. You know, you’re really, you really kind of scaring me now.

Oh, I’ll get in.

Theo. Theo, I’m so glad you came over. Oh, Steve, look. Look at Theo. Hey man. Okay. I’m so sorry.

This is, uh, this is a tough day. I, I am sorry that, uh, John and I didn’t come through for your dad and for you. You did your best. I just came to say thank you for the donation you made in my dad’s name to the autism charity. Well, we, we know how important that charity was to your dad. We were happy to do it.

And we really loved your dad, and we love you, and we are here for you.

Well, your executives and your long lunch breaks. Mm-hmm. How you feeling? I tell you, I feel a lot better when I get these bullet fragments outta me. Yeah. How you doing these days?

Hey, hey look, I’m not trying to pry, I’m asking as a friend who’s friend. Mine are Romans. Both of you. I don’t want either one of you to get hurt.

What were you just, now

I was thinking of the moment that I found out I wasn’t the person I thought I was. And how my whole life that I knew I changed in an instant

and there was Abe, one thing in my life was still the same, and it was my friendship with Abraham.

Dammit, doc, I just wish that I could have been as good a friend to him as he’s always had been to me. You were, you were. He always knew that about you. Dammit, doc. I was so damn sure that we were gonna find him. I, I was so damn sure that someone had taken him for whatever reason, they were holding him against his will and, and,

And I was so damn wrong.

Well, I’m off to work now.

I Are you still mad at me? No, not mad. I just, uh, I just get a bit lonely when you’re gone. Oh, well I thought you were catching up on body and Soul. I am, but it would be nice to have people who talk back, you know, I was thinking, couldn’t feel come over and hang out for a while. Oh, I forgot to tell you, uh, Theo had to travel back to South Africa.

What? My son left town without saying goodbye. Well, he stopped by on his way to the airport, but you were resting and I didn’t wanna disturb you, but I would’ve wanted to say goodbye. You should have woken me up. I, I know. I, I, I, you’re right. I, I, I’m sorry. What? What, what about your daughter? Huh? Chanel. My stepdaughter, couldn’t she come by and see me?

I just keep thinking of the heartache got brought to Abraham with my secrets and lies. Mama, you more than made up for whatever heartache you caused him by all the love and support you gave him. He was so crazy about you.

Look at that be.

This is delicious. I know things are hard right now, Theo, but you have to remember to eat. I’ll try. And you know what? If you ever are feeling alone or you wanna talk to somebody, we’re here for you. I know that. Thank you. But I think I’m gonna be okay, especially now that my sister’s here. Mama, you’re not going to believe this.

No, but. What is it now of a, let me guess, a cactus. Well, Eli does say I can be a bit prickly if I haven’t had my morning coffee. Mommy.

Oh. Hi, mama. I’m home. My baby girl, my darling, my precious girl.

Come on, man. What’s the matter with you? What? What, honey? What? I’m sorry. I’m so sorry. From the moment I woke up here, all I’ve been thinking about and talking about is myself, and I know you’re going through this too, sweetheart. It’s hitting me hard too. It doesn’t mean that you can’t talk to me about how you’re feeling.

Look, the only way that we’re going to get through this, and I I, I mean beyond the two of us way, we’re all going to get through this is talk about our feelings, share our feelings. In fact, I think I have an idea.

Paulina must have been thrilled to see Lonnie. God bless Eli for bringing her home. It’s just a furlough. Well, I think it’s really important that your whole family is together for the funeral. Yeah.

When my mom died, I was able to say bye to her, but. My dad, he just, he just went away. He just disappeared and then drowned. I just, I, it, it doesn’t make sense to me. I,

I am so grateful that you’re here, Lonnie. I’m so very, very grateful, even if it is for such a terrible, sad reason. Yeah, I’m grateful too. I am beyond grateful to be free, even if it is for a short time so that I can be here with my mama and my sister and my brother. Thing is, um, some part of me just, it just doesn’t, uh, just don’t feel that.

Dad is really gone. Mm-hmm. It’s so surreal. Yes, it is. It is. And oh, the way it happened. Oh Lord Lonnie, it just doesn’t make sense to me. Maybe, I suppose partly because we, we didn’t get to say goodbye to him. Never got to see him touch him,

and how the hell are we supposed to have a proper home going when we don’t have a body?

Well, Chanel was intending to come over to visit with her. Step, pop, pop, step, pop, pop. Oh yeah. That’s a little, uh, pet name that she has for you. You love it when she calls you that and yet I cringe on you. Say it anyway. As I was just getting ready to say, Chanel has just been so swamped at the bakery, so, so another day is staring at the walls.

What, how luckily for you body and soul is fitting to get better. You’re about to meet Lorna. She’s back Who? That’s Lorna. Lorna is just one of the great soap bitches of all times. And trust me when I tell you, you gonna love to hate her. Check it out.

I know that it would help us all to accept what happened, but given a case like this, there’s just no telling when or. Even if his body will ever be found and yet, and yet what? Sweetheart? They didn’t waste any time declaring him dead, did they? Even though there’s no evidence to prove it for a fact.

Lonnie, no, Eli. I wanna see that evidence for myself. I wanna go down to the station. That’s against policy Mia, but you know, given the circumstances, I’m sure Ray wouldn’t, he wouldn’t mind and I don’t care if he would mind. Can we go now? Oh, wait a minute, darling. Lanie you. You’re out of prison today. It’s your anniversary.

You shouldn’t be spending at a police station, especially since nothing you find down there at that police station will bring a back to us. Mama. I have to see that evidence for myself. Or I will never sleep again. Paulina, look, when she gets like this, you just got I know. I know. There’s no changing her mind.

Tell me something. I don’t know. Thank you.

We’ll be back as soon as we can. Well, I’m gonna walk out with you. I need to head back over to the baby. You call me if you need anything. Okay? You gonna be all right alone. I think I should get used to it, don’t you? Hey, you too. I’m just about to call you. Look who’s here. Oh. Oh my goodness. Oh, good to see you.

I’m so sorry about your dad. Thank you. Good to see you kiddo. Be on. Sorry. I know how hard you work to find him. And you too. I’m very grateful. Dad was a good man. He one of the best. We loved him a lot. He knew that. He used to say. He used to say, okay. Do you wanna talk about this? No, actually, um, I think I should get going now.

Are you sure? You’re all right. Lonnie’s. Someone furlough. I’ll be fine. Lonnie’s here. Please, please give her a love and, and send her love to Paulina as well. Tell her to call us if there’s anything we can do. I will. It was nice to see you all again. Yeah, you too Sweet. Take kid. Come back anytime. Okay.

Goodness. Poor kid.

Damnit. Should have found him. You should have found him. We should have found him. You too are blaming yourselves entirely too much for this. You did everything you could. You searched and searched. Come on. You left no stone unturned. You did your very best. And I’m sure if were here, He would say the same thing.

It’s burned.

So that’s Lorna. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Like I said, one of the greatest soaper bitches of all time, so large than life, so over the top. So outrageous that Susan Lucci and Heather Lockney are fired, their agents. Oh. Oh, okay. I wish I could sit here and watch with you five more minutes, but then I’ll be late for work.

Happy watching. Thanks. Oh, oh, oh. When I come home, I’m gonna need to hear all about your favorite cat fight.

Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s the most unstoppable of.

You okay?

Yeah,

it’s just, it’s really weird being back here. So many memories.

Mainly meeting my new partner. And falling in love with him, and him falling even more in love with you. Okay. And, uh, they got married. Mm-hmm. And they lived happily ever after. Okay. Okay. Fine. With a few challenges, but nothing that they couldn’t handle. Mm. Because they were tough. So tough. And so enough,

uh, you know, doc, you’re right. Steve and I, we busted our ass. We did our damnedest to find Abe. You know what I’m thinking? I’m thinking that maybe I’m just blaming myself because it’s a hell of a lot easier than accepting the fact that he’s gone. Yeah. It’s the same for me. Yeah. Hey, did I tell you I had another dream about him this morning?

I dreamt that I found him down on the docks, but he just walked away from me. Didn’t go in the water. He just walked away from me. You didn’t tell me that. I thought I did. Why don’t you tell me about the end of the dream, what, whatever details you can remember.

I was getting on my phone to call Paulina and

I hear Abe say that he was sorry that he couldn’t stay. I said, what do you mean by that? And he just said, goodbye, old friend. And he turned around and he walked off into the fog and I kept calling on him and he was gone.

What is it?

I was thinking that maybe just, maybe this is not really about John’s guilt, the dream. I mean, maybe it’s about. John’s something that, there’s something wrong here. That’s what I’ve been saying. Abe was injured, he had amnesia. How did he survive all those weeks? With no one seeing him looking after him.

Yeah. And this, this witness, the one and only person to see him is the one who watches him go in the water. That means eight had to get from wherever he was all the way down to the dock without anyone seeing him. We need to get back to work.

This is a lab report matching the blood from the pylon to AIDS blood sample that was on record at the hospital. D. Exact match. Exact match. Hmm.

When I first came to Salem, I just, I knew I was my biological father and I was determined to prove it. My mom said, you two weren’t together very long. She didn’t even tell me how you guys met. Well, she almost crashed into my car on her way to singing Friend’s Wedding Dr. Marlena Evans, they went to college together.

Yeah,

she, um, she doesn’t know about you either, Bonnie, didn’t you, you ever wonder who your father was? Of course I did. Probably thought he was some dent.

When your mother left Hannah,

I had no idea she was pregnant.

How could she not tell me I had a daughter?

I was wrong about the d n. But Abe, Abe is your father in every way that counts.

What else is in there? Here’s a statement from Jerry Prentice. He saw your dad go in the water.

What’s this? It looks like a professional photo. Yeah, detective Hunter dug that up. Turns out Jerry Prentice is an actor.

Oh, well that’s a little better.

You wanted to see me, Ms. DeLorean?

It’s about time you got here. I have a job for you.

What kind of job?

I need someone who could pretend to be the true and rightful heir to the DeLorean fortune, and that is where you come in.

Abe: Theo?

Paulina: Oh, Nurse King, what?

Days of Our Lives Update

Days of Our Lives logo

Update written by Joseph

Nicole tells Eric that she knows it must have been difficult for him to be in the hospital with her, so she wants him to know it means a lot. Eric is glad he could be there for her as they hug. They get close until Eric decides he should go get her food because she’s looking pale and quickly exits the room.

Leo enters the wine cellar in the DiMera Tunnels and finds EJ and Kristen tied up. EJ never thought he’d say thank God that Leo’s here. Leo questions what is going on here. Kristen and EJ explain that Megan did this to them and have held them captive for weeks. Leo talks about how he knew Megan was up to something, so he followed her here. Leo calls it an underground bondage dungeon while Kristen assures that’s not what this is. Leo asks why Megan did this to them. EJ starts to reveal that they found out what Megan was planning, but then he begins suffering memory loss from the injection and says that he doesn’t remember.

Megan arrives at the Bistro and welcomes everyone. Megan apologizes for the delay and says that to make this a really special night, she brought a bottle of Stefano’s favorite champagne and it took a little longer than expected but she’s here now. Megan is so glad they are all here too because there is nothing in this world more important than family. Megan adds that she’s so grateful that they have all welcomed her back. Megan is thrilled to host this gathering for her newfound brother and his gorgeous bride to be. Megan says she just knows that Stefano is smiling down on them now, happy to see them all together again. Megan admits that she knows they have their differences but says they overcome them because that’s what families do. Chad mutters to Stephanie that Megan’s an assassin and that’s kind of hard to overcome. Megan talks about all the lost years they could’ve spent together but says she looks forward to the many happy years to come. Megan calls for everyone to grab a glass of champagne to toast the couple. Harris Michaels then arrives. Megan pretends to be shocked and asks what the hell he’s doing there. Harris then pulls his gun out, scaring everyone in the room.

Li exits Dr. Rolf’s lab with Harris Michaels’ phone which rings as Kate calls. Li remarks to himself that he’s sorry to Kate because Harris is unavailable as he’s under new management and he and Megan have already given him his new assignment to eliminate Stefan DiMera.

Harris says he’s sorry to interrupt the festivities and orders everyone to move to one side of the room. Chad questions what he’s doing. Harris responds that he’s here to eliminate a threat which Chad questions. Megan claims that she’s the threat and that Harris is there to kill her.

Eric brings Nicole her food and says he’s looking out for her and the baby. Nicole remarks that if only the baby’s father was that attentive. Nicole appreciates Eric’s help but argues that EJ should be the one doing this instead of being on some secret business trip where he can’t even answer his phone. Eric says he’s sure EJ has his reasons. Nicole complains that they won’t be good enough as it’s like he’s forgotten what’s important. Nicole remarks that the baby isn’t even born yet and EJ has already abandoned them.

Leo questions EJ not remembering. EJ tries to think but says it’s like the memory evaporated from his brain. EJ asks what Kristen thinks. Kristen responds that she thinks Megan injected them with something to make them forget her plan. Kristen states that she has no idea about any of it. Leo says he may have an idea and asks if it has something to do with his son Dimitri. Leo brings up Dimitri proposing to Gwen and thinking that he and Megan have an ulterior motive. Leo asks if any of that rings a bell. Kristen says it does sound familiar.

Li walks through the town square and stands outside the Bistro. Li states that it’s all happening upstairs and that soon, Stefan will be dead and he’ll be there to pick up the pieces with Gabi. Rafe then approaches Li and questions what he’s doing there.

Megan argues that Harris wants revenge for everything she did to him and even came to her house to threaten her. Dimitri questions why she didn’t tell him. Megan claims that she thought he was all talk and didn’t think he was this deranged. Harris says that’s enough. Dimitri tells Harris that if he wants to hurt his mother, he’ll have to get through him first. Megan tells Dimitri to stay out of this. Harris tells them to relax as he’s not there to kill either one of them. Harris then announces he’s here to kill Stefan. Gabi questions that while Stefan says he doesn’t understand as Harris doesn’t even know him. Harris assures Stefan that it’s nothing personal and he’s just following orders. Stefan asks who’s orders. Johnny whispers to Wendy that they can’t just watch him do this. Wendy tries to call the police but Harris fires a shot and orders her to drop it. Harris declares that the next person he sees with a phone will not get a warning. Harris says this can go one of two ways, everybody does as their told and survive or he can take out as many people as he has to in order to complete his mission. Stefan questions how he is a threat to Harris. Gabi asks who would consider Stefan a threat and argues that it has to be EJ, who is conveniently not at the party and has been plotting against him the entire time. Stefan asks Harris if it’s true that EJ hired him and demands an answer. Harris responds that if he must know, it wasn’t EJ. Stefan asks who he is working for then. Harris then announces the man who wants Stefan dead is Li Shin.

Li tells Rafe that he didn’t hear him sneaking up on him. Rafe says he’s just going to his sister’s engagement party. Li points out that he’s a little late. Rafe says things have been hectic at the police station. Li says he’s sorry to hear about Abe. Rafe points out that Li still hasn’t answered his question and asks what he’s doing lurking about. Li argues that he’s not lurking and was just passing through. Rafe notes that Li seems a little nervous to be just passing through. Rafe guesses that Li was thinking about going up there, crashing the party, and creating a scene. Li then tells Rafe that he’s right.

Leo asks Kristen why Megan and Dimitri are using Gwen. Kristen complains that she doesn’t remember. Leo urges her to want to help Gwen. EJ thinks Megan’s plan is a lot more sinister and high stakes, like it’s life and death. Leo asks if he’s saying Gwen is in danger. EJ feels like someone else is the main target, but he doesn’t know who and it’s just a gut feeling. Leo calls them useless. Kristen points out that he still hasn’t untied them. Leo suggests she ask nicely. Kristen yells at him to do it now.

Nicole apologizes to Eric as she’s sure the last thing he wants to hear is her complaining about EJ. Eric says it’s okay as she has every right to. Nicole tells Eric that he doesn’t have to stay and shouldn’t feel obligated to. Eric says he doesn’t and feels that Nicole shouldn’t be alone right now. Nicole repeats that the cramps were nothing and reminds him that Tripp said she and the baby are fine. Nicole adds that Harold is there if she needs anything. Eric asks if she’s sure. Nicole says she is and thanks him again. Nicole tells him that she’s grateful that she can still count on him. They hug and this time they end up kissing. Eric stops and says they can’t do this, reminding her that he’s with Sloan and she’s with EJ. Nicole asks where EJ is then. Nicole apologizes and says she just felt that old pull between them and the old feelings of being abandoned and worthless. Eric argues that she shouldn’t feel either and calls EJ a jackass for doing this to her. Eric brings up if the baby was his but then apologizes and says that’s not helpful. Nicole responds that it’s okay and that Eric would’ve been the perfect father. Nicole adds that he still can be if things work out with him and Sloan. Eric thanks her for saying that. Nicole calls it the truth. Nicole states that she has some hard truths to face with EJ if she ever sees him again. Nicole doesn’t know if she can forgive EJ for disappearing when she needed him the most. EJ and Kristen then emerge from the tunnels, shocking Nicole.

Gabi questions Harris saying that Li put him up to this. Harris asks if that’s so hard to believe as Li apparently still has something for her. Gabi questions thinking that killing Stefan is the way to win back her love. Harris thinks it’s more of if he can’t have her, no one can. Megan says in her head that Dr. Rolf programmed Harris to think he’s working solely for Li, just as she planned. Wendy questions believing Harris and argues that her brother would never hire someone to kill Stefan because he’s not a murderer. Stefan brings up that Li did pull the plug on him while he was in a coma. Wendy calls that different and a mistake, arguing that a split second decision is different than plotting to murder someone in cold blood. Wendy argues that Gabi knows that’s not Li but Gabi agrees with Stefan that Li has a history of trying to eliminate his competition by any means necessary. Wendy insists that Li accepted that Gabi moved on and he didn’t even fight the divorce. Johnny reminds Wendy that Li didn’t want her to come to the party. Wendy thinks that was just about being loyal to him. Johnny feels he didn’t want her to get caught in the crossfire.

Rafe tells Li to stay away from the party because he’s caused Gabi enough pain already. Li says he just ran in to Wendy and Johnny as they were heading in and then ran in to Gabi and Stefan. Li states that he tried to be happy for them but he can’t get out of his head what could’ve been because he loved Gabi so much and still does. Rafe understands because he’s been in a similar situation but tells Li that what he and Gabi had before is over, so he needs to accept that. Li responds that he can’t just will away feelings. Li argues that even now, knowing how happy Gabi and Stefan are just breaks his heart.

Stefan questions Harris about this being true. Harris asks why he would lie. Chad questions what happened to turning his life around and wanting redemption for everything he did. Chad then guesses that this isn’t Harris and that he’s brainwashed again but this time by Li. Gabi agrees since Li brainwashed Stefan in to forgetting that he loved her and now Harris in to being his assassin. Dimitri asks Gwen who hasn’t been brainwashed in this town. Gwen whispers that it’s kind of a thing here. Harris yells at everyone to shut up. Harris says he doesn’t know what they are talking about and only knows that he has orders from Li to kill Stefan and it’s about that time.

Nicole questions EJ being here. EJ kisses her and hugs her. Nicole asks when he got back in town. EJ reveals that he never left as Megan locked him in the tunnels. Kristen points out that she locked both of them in there. Nicole questions why she would do that. EJ responds that they don’t know but they are pretty sure that Megan gave them something that is affecting their memory. Nicole asks how they escaped. Kristen reveals that Leo Stark found them and set them free. Eric questions what Leo was doing down there. Kristen says she has no idea as she doesn’t remember.

Leo remains in the wine cellar and argues that Megan must be using this as her base of operations, so there has to be something down here. Leo searches the wine cellar and finds a bottle of wine but tells himself to focus as he has to find proof that Dimitri is up to no good since that’s the only way to stop Gwen from getting hurt.

Chad pleads with Harris to stop and not do this. Harris responds that orders are orders. Stephanie argues that he doesn’t have to follow them and urges him to fight whatever Li did to him. Chad tells Harris not to listen to Li’s voice in his head and listen to his own because deep down, he knows this is wrong. Stephanie reminds Harris of when he set the bomb off at her apartment in Seattle and how he felt terrible after because of what Megan did to him. Megan tells her not to remind the man with the gun how much he hates her. Gabi pleads with Harris not to let Li do this and argues that he’s not a murderer. Gwen points out that he technically is as she’s read his case and there were several incidents. Gabi tells Gwen that she’s not helping, so she apologizes. Gabi suggests Harris call Li, so that she can talk him out of this.

Li thanks Rafe and admits that he would’ve just humiliated himself at Gabi and Stefan’s party, so he’s glad that Rafe stopped him. Rafe says he didn’t do it for him. Li says either way, he helped him so he appreciates it. Li promises that he is now heading straight home. Li tells Rafe to give his congratulations to the happy couple. Rafe says goodnight and walks away. Li hopes by the time Rafe gets up there, it will be too late and the job will have been completed.

Gabi pleads with Harris to let her call Li. Wendy agrees that they can make Li see what a mistake this is. Harris orders Gabi to drop the phone, so she does. Gabi cries that she didn’t want to hurt Li but her heart belongs to Stefan who is the only person who ever understood her and loved her. Gabi declares that if he shoots Stefan, he has to shoot her too because she can’t live without him. Harris responds that he’s sorry but it has to be done. Rafe then bursts in with his gun and orders Harris to drop the gun. When Harris turns to face Rafe, Gabi jumps on his back. They struggle until Harris fires a shot from his gun, shooting Megan. Dimitri rushes to her side. Gabi then knees Harris in the groin, dropping him to the ground. Gabi takes his gun and hands it to Stefan. Dimitri worries about Megan’s loss of blood as she begins to pass out. Gwen says she’s going to get help and rushes out.

Li returns home and wonders why he hasn’t heard from Megan since Stefan should be dead by now. Li imagines Gabi coming to tell him that Harris killed Stefan and them getting back together.

Rafe and Chad handcuff Harris to a chair as Harris complains that he has a job to do. Gabi informs Rafe that Harris said Li ordered him to kill Stefan. Chad adds that he suspects Li brainwashed him. Rafe mentions seeing Li outside and he was staring up here. Rafe thought Li was coming to make a fool of himself but obviously it was much worse. Gwen returns and says the paramedics are on their way. Gabi encourages Dimitri not to give up hope as Megan will soon get the help she needs. Johnny checks on Wendy, who is holding back tears. Johnny then decides to get her out of there. Stefan questions what Gabi was thinking by going after Harris like that. Gabi argues that she was saving his life. Stefan thanks her but asks her to never do something that reckless again. Gabi says she had to stop him because she couldn’t lose Stefan again. Stefan tells her it’s okay now and hugs her. Stefan states that Li tried to keep them apart again but failed again as nothing can keep them apart. Stefan declares that Li will pay for this and so will everyone else who helped him out.

Nicole questions EJ and Kristen being held prisoner by Megan this whole time. EJ calls Megan an evil, sadistic bitch. Nicole brings up EJ texting her but EJ says he wishes he could, so it must have been Megan using his phone. Nicole admits that explains why he didn’t answer her calls. Nicole thought EJ abandoned her and the baby. EJ assures that he will never abandon her as she and the baby mean everything to him. EJ asks Nicole about her meeting with the specialist. Nicole confirms that she thinks she can carry the baby to term. EJ hugs her and calls it wonderful news. EJ declares that after all these years, they are finally going to have a child together. EJ and Nicole kiss as Eric watches on.

Eric goes home and sits on his bed, thinking back to kissing Nicole.

EJ joins Nicole in their bedroom and says he feels better after a shower. Nicole wants a doctor to take a look at EJ since Megan’s drugs could have side effects. EJ says they will, but first he wants to dress the elephant in the room in Eric. EJ questions what Eric was doing there. Nicole assures that he came over for a very good reason and they will talk about that, just not now. Nicole calls it a blessing in disguise because she got some cramping and Eric took her to the hospital but everything is fine. Nicole admits that Eric wanted to stay because EJ wasn’t around. EJ goes over how he disappeared, Nicole thought the worst of him and turned to Eric. Nicole argues that’s not how it went and that EJ knows how she feels about him. EJ questions if he does, pointing out that a few weeks ago, he told her that he loved her and she hasn’t said it back. Nicole says she knows and she’s sorry. Nicole adds that when she thinks about how Megan could have killed him, she realized that she does love him. Nicole comments that EJ looks skeptical. EJ feels he might have talked her in to saying that or pressured her. Nicole assures that he didn’t and that she said it because she feels it. Nicole declares that he is the father of her child and the man that she wants to be with as they kiss.

Kristen makes a phone call to report a kidnapping of herself and EJ by Megan. Kristen then says she doesn’t remember how it happened and asks why she would joke about something so serious. Kristen tells them to hold on as she needs to get with EJ and goes to find him. Leo then emerges from the tunnels with a bottle of wine and says so much for being Gwen’s hero. Leo wishes that EJ and Kristen could remember what Megan and Dimitri are up to, so he could tell Gwen before it’s too late and then she would dump Dimitri and never look back.

Gwen joins Dimitri at the hospital and asks how Megan is. Dimitri says they got her stable in the ambulance and then rushed her right in to surgery. Dimitri worries that she looked so pale and fragile. Gwen reminds him that Megan cheated death once, so she’s going to do it again. Dimitri thanks her for her support. Dimitri says he understands if she wants to get home but Gwen declares that she’s not going anywhere as she’s staying here. Dimitri then hugs Gwen.

Harris tells Chad that he has to let him go. Chad says that’s not going to happen as he promised Rafe that he would look after him until backup arrived. Stephanie points out that a squad car just pulled up, so the police should be there any minute. Harris argues that he has a mission to complete. Chad tells Harris that the mission is over and he failed. Stephanie asks if it was Dr. Rolf’s handy work. Chad believes so. Stephanie says that Harris can’t catch a break as first he was brainwashed by Megan and now Li Shin.

Johnny and Wendy sit together in the town square. Wendy can’t believe Li did something so crazy. Johnny talks about losing Chanel to Allie and how he almost did something very underhanded. Wendy points out that he didn’t hire a Navy SEAL to kill Allie because he’s not a criminal or a heartless bastard with no conscience. Wendy declares that there is no excuse for the horrible, unforgiving thing that her brother did and now he’s going to have to face the consequences.

Gabi shows up at Li’s door like he imagined. Li asks what she’s doing there and not at her engagement party. Gabi explains that she was until Harris Michaels showed up with a gun to kill Stefan. Li pretends to be shocked and says he’s so sorry. Li says poor Stefan, but Stefan then arrives and tells Li not to bury him just yet. Li says thank God he’s okay but Stefan tells Li to drop the act. Li asks what he means. Rafe then arrives and arrests Li for the attempted murder of Stefan DiMera.

THIS STILL NEEDS EXTENSIVE EDITING!

[ Knock on door ] Okay. Hi. Hey. Thanks for coming by. Yeah, of course. I really appreciate you coming over on such short notice. Yeah. You know, it’s been a pretty busy morning. I just took scout to say goodbye to her father before he reported to prison. Then I spent the next hour consoling her because it was pretty hard to come up with something to say. She’s devastated. She just got her dad back, and now she’s lost him again. Sorry to show up unannounced like this. No, it’s alright. Uh, isn’t today… I start my sentence at pentonville today, yeah. Those judges are out for blood. Given the alternatives, I just, uh, made the best choice that I could make. Well, what brings you here instead of spending your last hours with your family? Unfinished business. So, there he is, back behind the desk. Gonna make it permanent?

[ Chuckles ] Been there, done that. Doesn’t mean you couldn’t do it again. Could get a lot of arguments in with your brother that way. Oh, I don’t have to be police commissioner to do that. Ha! I’m interim until someone can be appointed. But I’m glad you stopped by. Something interesting crossed my desk. Something I think you’d like to see. So, have a nice chat with dr. Montague, but don’t push yourself too hard. I know you’re itching to end the guardianship, but you can’t rush mental health. What in the world? I just got an e-mail from gellhorn jewelers. They’ve dropped the larceny charges against cody. Huh. I’m sure they have their reasons. And something tells me you know what they are. Scott: So, once you finally sign this affidavit, I can file it with the clerk’s office and we can get down to business with the wsb. Right. Yeah, business. Yes, and as you know, the wsb doesn’t like to have their cage rattled, so they’re probably gonna play hardball. Oh, hardball? Wait, are you saying that they’re gonna investigate me?

[ Sighs ] Well, you do know what the “s” in the wsb means. Security. Okay, yeah. No, I didn’t know that. Well, like most agencies, they thrive on intel. That’s their bread and butter. Is that gonna be a problem?

[ Monitor beeping ] How’d you sleep? Barely. I think I’m just too geared up to hear what dr. Randolph has to say today. I just heard that dr. Randolph won’t be meeting with us today. Does that mean we’ll have to wait to get the results? Apparently she’s sending somebody that is familiar with the case. Hey, willow, willow, look. You’ve been getting stronger every single day. We have to believe that it’s good news. This cancer journey’s been such a roller-coaster ride. I’m almost afraid to predict what will come next.

[ Knock on door, door opens ] Good. Good. You’re both here.

[ Door closes ] How are you feeling, willow? Pretty anxious at the moment. Glad to see you, though. Do you have the results? I asked dr. Randolph if I could deliver this news. It’s life-changing.

Friend, I felt thismight be better coming from me. And it’s my honor to report that the absolute neutrophil count we ran on you the last three days shows an anc of 500. And my platelet count? Holding steady at 30,000. Oh! Those are the markers that dr. Randolph said we needed for engraftment. Does this mean that — that liesl’s donated cells are creating new ones? From all accounts, the bone marrow transplant was a success.

[ Crying ] This — this is what we hoped for. Does this mean that willow’s in remission? Gellhorn jewelers dropped the charges against cody? Apparently the insurance company has determined that the clasp on the bracelet gladys was wearing that night was faulty. Faulty? Witness came forward. Says here a waiter found the bracelet in the dressing room and thought it belonged to the jacket above it. That’s weird. Yeah, well, our helpful waiter slipped the bracelet into cody’s pocket. Unfortunately, leading me to slip cody into a pair of handcuffs. Well, you were just doing your job, mac. Life’s bitter ironies. I, uh — I imagine myself cody’s father, not his arresting officer. Cody: I screwed up. I don’t know how to make it right. You lied… about the first dna results. You said the mac wasn’t your father when in actuality, he is. Well, hey, you know, at least it didn’t go any further. Uh, cody’s gonna be relieved. I-I’m gonna go see him right now, actually. Mind some company? I’d like to deliver the news myself. I’m no choirboy, scott. Well, who is? Listen, you don’t have to be squeaky clean to be on the winning side of a lawsuit. And I’ll drive home that point, and so you do a nickel upstate. A nickel? For what? Grand larceny. 5 to 10. Oh. Oh, right. The bracelet. Um, yeah, I-I — I don’t think that’s gonna be a problem. Really? Well, last time I checked, there were some charges pending from all that hoopla at the nurses’ ball. Yeah, something tells me those won’t stick. Good. Hey, you don’t have to tell me what’s going on. It’s gonna be worth it. Yeah. All it cost me was a new friend. You didn’t seemat all surprised or upset when I just told you that cody was in the clear. What’s going on, gladys? Okay, the insurance company contacted me about it earlier. Apparently a waiter found the bracelet and slipped it into cody’s jacket pocket. What? Yeah, the guy was in the dressing room and thought it fell out or something. I don’t know, but he admitted that he put it into cody’s pocket. I-I was gonna tell you after your appointment. Is that so? Oh, yeah. And is that all you’ve got to say? W-what do you mean? Are you finally ready to admit the truth, gladys? What truth? That you were wrong all along about cody. I said goodbye to most of the quartermaines already and been spending a lot of time with scout. In fact, I saw her this morning again. That must have been difficult. Yeah, I was hoping never to have to say goodbye to a child of mine again. At least with scout, it’s not forever. Does that have anything to do with the unfinished business? Yeah, this is, uh — it’s for ned — or eddie maine. I mean, I heard he was staying with you. I got to admit, I never saw that coming. You and me bo– whatever he calls himself. Here we are. Oh, that’s decent of you, sonny. I’m just hoping that, you know, his — I don’t know, his favorite guitar can help bring back some memories, some real memories. Well, that’s pretty decent of you. But you could have given it to him yourself. But he — he took off. Is that safe for him to be out? I got my eye on ned. And don’t worry about it. He’s not the only one. Carly: Drew’s the reason i reached out to you this morning. I want to know how you’re feeling about all this. Okay. And I want you to be honest with me. No holding back? No holding back. Right. I am, uh — I’m not happy about it. I’m actually pretty angry, carly. I wish drew would have made a different choice. So do I. Drew was determined to do this. He was very concerned about what a long fight would do to our families. No, I get that. I do. But drew deserves some peace and happiness, and yet he continues to sacrifice all of that. And he’s doing it again because — because of me.

I don’t blame you for feeling this way. I’m the one who bought the shares. It’s my fault. It is all on me.

[ Exhales deeply ] I thought that, too. At first. But not anymore. Carly, I mean, I realize you were trying to help drew and michael keep control of elq. You didn’t see this coming. But I should have. At the very least, I should have talked to a financial adviser or listened to michael and drew when they told me not to do anything. Instead, I went behind their back, which is classic me. Yeah, but you were not out for personal gain. You were just trying to help. I get it. I can’t tell you how much it means to me to hear you say this. I’d give anything to fix it. I want to fix it so bad for him. I know you do. But drew wants to fix this for you. Which speaks volumes as to how much drew really cares for you. I appreciate you stepping up, taking responsibility. ‘Cause I know they made you an offer… to flip on me and take me down. How did you know about that? Been doing this a long time. I know what you and carly did, and I’m sure she was target number one. You know my business. You know what I do, the things I — you know. You could have given them damaging information. You didn’t do it. Carly would never flip on you. Neither would I. Sonny, sacrificing you, that wasn’t even a consideration. This was my debt to pay. You protected her. You protected both of us. I’m not gonna forget that. I got some guys in pentonville that are gonna keep their eyes on you. I appreciate that. Hopefully I’m not gonna need it, but it’s good to know that it’s there. To a certain extent, there’s — there’s only — you know, I can only go so far. Keep your eyes open… and your chin up. Okay, I was wrong about cody. But he was wrong about me. I’m not some diabolical mother-in-law. I never said that you were. But why didn’t you tell me? Why did I have to get an e-mail from the jeweler? Honey, I-I was gonna tell you after your appointment. I-I-I just didn’t want to distract you. And I figured you’d be angry at me. Why would i be angry at you? Because I blamed your friend. Can you forgive me?

[ Sighs ] Of course. It was all a big misunderstanding. The person you should apologize to is cody. I’m ready for you, sasha. I hope this doesn’t cause problems for you and cody. There is no me and cody. You will have plenty of friends once you sign this affidavit. And you know what? All your friends, they’re gonna look like benjamin franklin. Here we go. Alright, so, you’re saying this affidavit will be enough to prove that I’m leopold taub’s son, right? Yes, yes, yes, it should be. I mean, taub has no living relatives. I-I — nobody’s gonna contest it. I think with this and your birth certificate, that’ll do the trick. Unless the wsb wants to go through the trouble of exhuming taub’s body. Wait. W-w– they would do that? Well, if they do, we could tack on another $10 million. Can you cry on cue?

[ Stammers ] What? Well, the wsb, they were very stupid and careless, you know, losing the — the necklace in the first place. Number two, you, the grief, the suffering that you’re gonna go through when they have to dig up dear old dad. Come on. That’s a pot of gold. I think we should push them to dig up dear old dad. No, no, no, no, no. God, no. Please — please don’T. It’s still too soon to say if I’m in remission, isn’t it? We need six months to a year to see if blood counts remain normal without an infusion. But we’re encouraged. There are no visible leukemia cells in the blood or bone. Really? That’s — that’s good. Very. Better still, these test results mean willow can go home. She doesn’t need a-a sterile environment anymore? Not strictly. Willow’s immune system is still compromised, so precautions will need to be taken. You’ll have to prepare your home per our instructions. Is — is this a dream?

[ Chuckles ] S-so, what, she’ll — she’ll be discharged in a — in a-a week, a couple of days? How’s a couple of hours? Once you get your meds and your instructions, you can go home. I will be home and in my own bed by the end of the day? This isn’t a good idea.

I mean, we need more time. The gatehouse isn’t ready. We still have to sterilize and prepare a space downstairs. You’re not climbing the stairs right away. I’m sure the quartermaine staff can help with that. Or we can stay somewhere else temporarily. I don’t care where I am, as long as I get to hold my babies again. Willow, I want that, too, more than anything. But is that safe right now? I mean, kids carry germs. We can’t risk infection. We’ve come this far. Shouldn’t we be following the best protocols for the long term? I hear you, michael. And, willow, he is right to be careful. The first year after a transplant, your immune system is like that of baby amelia’S. All your past vaccinations have been completely wiped out. So exposure to illnesses like chickenpox could be deadly. But we’ll — we’ll go over all of this. Of course. Yeah. Um… but it sounds like when I go home, I’ll still be in isolation. I think I realized the two of you were a couple before you even did. I’m happy for you both. I-I truly am. So if there really actually was no way out, I really appreciate the way drew stepped up for you. I mean, we need drew. But your family needs you, too. Thank you, sam. Thank you. I miss him so much already. I know.

[ Sighs ] Okay, you know, enough of this. Can I get my friend a cup of coffee? You sure can.

[ Laughs ] Especially since I haven’t had a cup all day today. What? I told you it’s been a busy day. So, yes, I will take you up on that offer. Oh! I find that hard to believe. I know you have bags of corinthos coffee at your house. Yeah, I do. But dante is the one who brews it ’cause he kind of does all things in the kitchen. Oh. Yeah. So it’s really his — oh. Um… I’M…so sorry. Hey. Yeah. Here you go. I’ll take that. Yeah. Um… okay. Carly.

[ Sighs ] If you need to talk… about my pending financial crisis? No, sam, I’ll pass. No, carly. About all that you’ve lost. What can I do for you, gladys? Oh. [ Chuckles ] New hobby? I don’t have a lot of time. Sorry. Um… yeah. Did you talk to sasha about not ending the guardianship? Yeah, I talked to her. And? And… I don’t blame you for being concerned. Sasha: Deception is having a banner year since we unveiled our new product, the deceptor. And I’m just feeling really engaged and useful. For the last 15 minutes, you have given me a laundry list of everything that’s right in your life and work. Things are back on track. Sasha, I don’t want you to view these sessions as just a way to prove yourself to me. I don’t understand. My chief purpose is to evaluate whether the judge should grant your petition to end your guardianship. But I’m also here to help. Which means I need you to be honest. Oh, I am. Work is going great, and I’m feeling more stable. I don’t doubt that. But you’ve seemed troubled since you walked through that door. You want to tell me what’s making you anxious? Sign it. It’s not gonna sign itself. Cody! We have news. Uh, what’s, uh — what’s the news? The, uh, company that insures gellhorn jewelers dropped the charges. Oh, that’s great. “That’s — that’s great.” That’s it? Man, you’re more excited about a chicken parmesan. Well, to be fair, mama q’s chicken parm is breaded to perfection with the perfect ratio of cheese to sauce. That’s true. Plus, I didn’t do it, so I knew I was innocent the whole time. What changed their minds? A witness stepped forward with new information that made it clear that you didn’t put the bracelet in your pocket. Ah! See, there you are. The truth prevails here, so it’s smooth sailing from here on. Excuse me, gentlemen. I’ve got to go file a document. Uh, cody, can I talk to you? Uh, yeah, sure. Can I talk to you, actually, for a minute?

[ Sighs ] No, no, no. Listen, I’m late. I got to go. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, I’m sure you are. But I-I just wanted to know… what are you and cody up to?

[ Sighs ]

I’ve been spending half the time

for you to come and find me

don’t know exactly why

that I can’t feel free till I’m with you

you who

can stand me up like I’m ten feet tall

you who

turn around and you watch me fall

you who

can change a man into smoke

just light him up, take a toke

breathe out until he’s used

[ Handcuffs clicking ]

And you know it’s true appreciate the hospitality. Cyrus: It’s certainly not the metro court, but it may be one step up from a leaky makeshift prison on a greek island.

I’m glad the charges were dropped. I had to do it, even though it never set right with me having to arrest you. Don’t sweat it, mac, you know. I won’t hold it against you. Thanks. And I’m glad to see you and scott are on good terms, considering you punched the guy when you first came to town.

[ Chuckles ] Yeah, scotty’s all right. So you — you trust him, then? Careful with that. That letter I saw cody sign, is that something to do with the jewelers, or is that something else? I’m not at liberty to talk about that. Why, are you representing him in another matter? Come on, you do know about lawyer-client privilege, right? You could have just said “yes.” So, what is it you’re accusing your friend of doing? Cody getting scammed by you. What isn’t making me anxious these days? Tell me more about that. Oh. I mean, I guess I just feel the pressure of getting all this right. Mm-hmm. I want to give my colleagues the support that I couldn’t last year. I want to strike the right life/work balance, be there for my friends, one of whom is battling leukemia. I want to recover relationships that I’ve lost. You don’t want much, do you?

[ Chuckles ] This all sounds normal, sasha. What you’re feeling is completely understandable. We all have varying levels of stress. There are many different ways to manage it. You ever tried meditation? I learned it when I went to rehab. But I prefer doing yoga. Oh, yoga’s great, but I want you to try 10 minutes of mindfulness without movement each day. I have an app I can recommend. Sounds good. I would like to feel more centered. I have something else for you. Be right back. Michael, your concerns are valid. But we’re not trying to keep willow away from the people she loves. We’ll have to exercise caution, especially at first. Only close physical contact with immediate family and a small, select number of friends. It’s crucial that you avoid close contact with anyone who could be sick — anyone. I advise you and your visitors to both wear masks during visits. Yeah, we’ll follow the instructions to the letter. We’re both terrified of taking a step backwards. Understandable. But you are well on the road to recovery. And you couldn’t have a better advocate than your husband here. My husband. That never gets old. A nurse will stop by with your medications and talk self-care and follow-up appointments. We can’t thank you enough, tj. I’m just the messenger. You are more than that. You’ve been with me from the start. You’ve been invaluable as a doctor and as a friend. Gonna go before I blush.

[ Chuckles ] Right. Could it be? Our nightmare’s over.

[ Both chuckle ] Maybe we’ll get our happily ever after, after all. I mean, to be honest, sam, it’s really hard for me to wrap my head around everything I’ve lost in the past two years. My husband. Jason. My hotel. Now drew. I mean, $5 million kind of pales in comparison. Ooh, $5 million? Yeah. That’s how much the sec is charging you? Do you have it? Well, even if I’m able to secure this loan without much collateral, I still can’t afford what I owe the government. Oh, carly, what are you gonna do? I don’t know. I don’t know. I mean… I’m sick thinking about what drew could be facing in prison. And I worry so much about what I’m gonna face out here. I don’t know.

[ Voice breaking ] I don’t know. Ohh. I am so sorry. Me too. But you know what really pisses me off? Drew and I are in this position purely because of spite. You clearly know who I am. Care to tell me who you are? I am your brother in christ. Even the metro court stopped including bibles in their bedside tables. Their mistake. “Blessed are ye who weep now, for ye shall laugh.” It gladdens my heart that you don’t weep over your circumstance. Yeah, well, I’ve learned that… time passes either way. Well said. My group would benefit from your outlook. We meet twice weekly in the library. Your group? Unlike other prison factions, our brotherhood is founded on shared values, not on prejudice or partisanship. And the minute I got word you were headed to pentonville, I knew your place was with us.

T, the gatehouse willbe spotless for your arrival. It’s still hard to believe that I’m going home. Well, believe it. And wiley and amelia will be waiting for you. All the q’s will want to visit. But don’t worry. I have no problem gate-keeping. Your health is all that matters. I’ll be good, I promise. But, uh, even I can’t keep away my mother or josslyn or brook lynn, for that matter, so… I wouldn’t want you to.

[ Chuckles ] So, shouldn’t just be my family on the visitor list. Who do you want to see? Sasha? Chase? Yes to both. But there might be someone else I want to add to that visitor’s list. Look, you don’t have to do this alone. You have people who can help you. I’m not gonna take a handout, sam. I’m not going — I’m not gonna take it from michael, josslyn, or sonny, especially sonny. But you have a child to support. What about donna? Well, thankfully, she will always be taken care of by her father. Well, what about donna’s mother? I mean, the stress that you must be under. Look, I’ve managed a setback before. I mean, losing the metro court, it was a real blow. But I handled it. And I will handle this. I-I just don’t know how yet, but I will. I admire your grit. That’s something we have in common.

[ Laughs ] Yes. Guilty as charged. We are both pretty self-reliant, aren’t we?

[ Laughs ] We are. But something that I’ve learned over the past several years is that it is okay to ask for help and to push your foolish pride aside. Sasha admitted she struggles with grief and she’s nervous about ending the guardianship. See? She’s not ready. It all seems realistic to me. There is nothing that sasha said to me that tells me she can’t handle herself. So if she’s ready and the doctor and the judge says yes, we are gonna stay out of her way.

[ Door opens ] My pa filled this for you. Take five milligrams three times daily. What is this? It’s a benzodiazepine. It’s a mild sedative. It’ll help you manage your anxiety. Take the edge off, so to speak. And it’s okay to take with my antidepressant? This class of drugs is often prescribed in conjunction. And is it habit-forming? Because I have a history. Dr. Montague: The drug can be habit-forming if used other than prescribed. But I will be monitoring your intake, and I am confident that you are far enough in your recovery that that won’t be a problem. Unless you feel otherwise, like you can’t be in control? Oh, no. I am in control. Totally. I’ve known cody a long time. Okay, he just got in the clear. I don’t want to see him getting into any new trouble. Listen, everything we’re working on is aboveboard. There’s no scheme here, detective. It seems like you’re always warning me about someone, mac. You mean like selina wu? Look, I’m not putting scott in selina’s category, but I do want you to be careful around her. But, hey, I told you I wouldn’t interfere, and I won’T. Scott’s my legal counsel, mac. That’s it. Sorry. I’m prying. Maybe you’re glad we’re not related. That way I won’t be on your case so much. It doesn’t mean I still don’t want what’s best for you, cody. So, why all the interest in me? Oh, don’t be so modest. Your story’s well-known. Business mogul, prominent family, philanthropist, navy seal hero-turned-prisoner- turned-free-man. Turned prisoner again. Yet one more chapter in your fascinating story. Far from the end. It is easy for faith to wither on the vine behind bars. I believe your presence at our meetings could help restore hope to some of our brothers. And I think you’ll find great comfort in this book of prayers. I’m sorry. I asked, but I didn’t catch your name. Just call me brother cy. Cy? As in cyrus? Renault. Laura’s brother. How is my dear sister? The cyrus renault whose drug trafficking caused overdoses and nearly killed sasha gilmore. My past is lamentable. And who tried to kill britt westbourne. Thank god I wasn’t successful. Well, you can thank my late brother jason morgan for that. And god help you if you approach me again.

Your dischargepaperwork is being processed. You can stay here as long as you need to sanitize your place. But you’re free to leave once you’ve reviewed all of your medications and instructions. Now, I can’t stress enough how important it is to protect your immune system. No visitors from any people not in your very limited bubble. We got it. Thank you. Thank you, tj. I am so happy for you guys. Take care. Thank you.

[ Sighs ] He has been a godsend through all this. So, is, uh, tj who you want to add to your bubble? Absolutely, yes. But I was thinking of someone else, and you might not be happy. Whoever you want, willow. I hope so. Because… I think my bubble should include nina. Maybe I am being prideful, but this is my mess. I have to clean it up. But I’ll be damned if I’m gonna let it crush me. I have risen from the ashes before. Well, I trust that you will get the clarity you need. As long as you keep that iron will, a roof over your head, and your freedom, you’ll think of something. You’re right. And thanks to you, I’ve figured out a way to use all three. She has no concept of how stressful it’ll be to be on her own. Having responsibility for her finances, having to make decisions where deception is concerned? I mean, she might buckle under the weight. Gladys… you’ve made your point. You don’t think sasha should end the guardianship. But you got to understand something. Okay. What? It’s not up to you anymore! Give it up!

[ Door closes ] You did good work today, sasha. If that continues, I’m confident I’ll be able to relay a positive report to the judge who’s hearing your petition. Thank you for listening to me, dr. Montague. That means everything, and it really helps me the most. Well, we all need support. Talk therapy, meditation, and that prescription I gave you are all parts of a consistent wellness plan. I’ll see you next week.

[ Door closes ] Hello, gladys. Did you — did you do it. Just as we discussed. Your daughter-in-law is on a new prescription regimen. It’s only a matter of time. You’re not having second thoughts? Because I can invent an excuse to have sasha bring back the medication. No. Let’s move forward. It’s the only move I have left. I want your word there’s nothing shady going on here, cody’s not gonna get burnt by whatever it is that he just signed that you’re about to file. What kind of a lawyer do you take me for? A sketchy one with a bag of tricks. Ah. No, this time it’s torts, not tricks. And just for your information, all lawyers have a sketchy bag of tricks. Tort? Like a civil lawsuit? Don’t worry about your friend cody. He’ll be fine. So long. I don’t mind you looking out for me, mac. It’s kind of nice, you know? Unnerving but nice. Well, then how about this? Don’t think of me as a cop. Think of me as a friend. I already do. Unlike us, the word of the lord is free. No strings attached. You’ll forgive me if I don’t believe that. Oh, I do. I am a believer in the power of forgiveness, as I am in second chances. Take the book. Don’t throw it away before you peruse its pages. You’ll find its lessons very useful.

Recap written by Terry

Adam is pushing everyone away who wants to help him through the grief of losing his infant daughter. Nikki expresses her condolences, stating that she knows what it’s like to lose a child. Years ago when she was married to Jack, Nikki had a miscarriage. Adam finds her concern disingenuous. He also dismisses his father’s concern for him and Sally, to which Adam retorts that Victor never liked Sally.  Victor counters that he would not wish the loss of a child on his worst enemy.

Victor reassures Adam he is there for him and is his biggest supporter, not his enemy. He adds that he’s there to offer his extensive business experience to him to revamp McCall Unlimited. Their conversation turns to Newman Enterprises. Adam states he wants Newman Media back. Since it is under the umbrella of Newman Enterprises, Victor cautions him against going after Newman Media. Adam previously vowed to crush it, which he implied he would do unless he got it back. Victor thinks Adam’s goal stems from the extremely bitter rivalry between Victoria and Adam. Victoria says she plans to destroy McCall Unlimited. Victor notes that Victoria and Adam are headed for a head-on collision.

Victoria does some dismissing of her own when her mother asks if she wants to keep Nickolas away from his job permanently. Victoria claims she will not. Nikki said that forcing Nick to take a leave of absence and dissolving his team is aggressive and unnecessary.

Victoria said that Nick’s warning her about Ashland Locke is continually thrown in her face. Nick issues the same warning about Nate. Victoria claims that while Nick has distractions in his life, Nate, who is meant to be temporarily in Nick’s job, does not.

Victoria and Nate meet to discuss some overseas business. Nate says he’s ready for it. Victoria insists the same when speaking to her mother. Nikki is doubtful that’s the reason Victoria approves of him going away on business. Nikki says Nate is feeding her sense of power.

Kyle and Audra flirt in Chancellor Park, and she plays coy with him, telling him he may put his phone number in her cell phone, but not to expect a call. She mentions that she wants the top spot at Newman Media and is not hesitant to color outside of the lines to get it. In other words, she is willing to perhaps bend a few rules. After she leaves, Kyle orders flowers and diamond earrings to be delivered to her.

Sharon realizes that the ordeal she endured with Cameron is an opportunity to take her pain and anger and turn it into something good. Before Sharon killed him, he left her his company. Sharon says it’s time for a new direction and that maybe the gift in her nightmare was regaining her strength. Everything changes now, she vows.

Transcript provided by Suzanne

Victoria: Well, we are back to back meetings today, so I hope you got a good night’s rest.

Nate: I had a good night, but it had nothing to do with sleep.

Victoria: I’d like you to accompany me on several of these meetings, including brock this afternoon.

Nate: With the decarbonization company. He’s pitching a merger?

Victoria: Mm-hmm. I would prefer it be an acquisition.

Nate: Same page.

Victoria: Yes, well the board is giving me some pushback. They think it’s too risky.

Nate: The risk is undeniable, the downside is very real, but why not be ahead of the pack?

Victoria: Yes. Big. Bold. No limits. No safety nets. Have I told you lately how much I like the way you think? It’s like talking to myself, but it’s much more fun.

[ Both laughing ] Hey, I have an idea. Why don’t you take the babcock meeting this afternoon? The cfo can be a little, you know, hard-headed, but I’m sure it’s something you can handle. You could also head up the marketing team status conference? I think they could definitely use some fresh ideas in there.

[ Laughs ] What?

Nate: Those are very high profile.

Victoria: You’re onboard as the interim coo. I don’t see why that would be particularly unusual.

Nate: But we both know how a lot of people feel about me stepping in for nick. And me sitting in your chair. You’re making a hell of a statement with this move.

Victoria: I know. And I don’t care.

Audra: Soy latte, huh? I pegged you for a double macchiato kind of guy.

Kyle: I like to mix it up.

Audra: I remember.

Kyle: You excited? Today’s the big day. Taking on the role of ceo of newman media.

Audra: Acting ceo. The position is mine only as long as nate is needed to fill in for your father-in-law at newman enterprises.

Kyle: I wonder how nick feels about that?

Audra: I mean, he just went through hell. You know, I appreciate victoria looking out for nick. Giving him time and space to regroup.

Kyle: Looking out for him by replacing him.

Audra: Uh, sounds like you have an issue.

Kyle: Let’s just say I am very familiar with how the newman family takes care of their own and it doesn’t always have a whole lot to do with love.

Nikki: Adam, adam wait.

Adam: [ Sighing ] Nikki. What can I do for you?

Nikki: I am so very sorry for your loss.

Sharon: I’m not going to lie. That box from cameron has me freaked out. Everything I thought I was moving on from is front and center again. The idea of going to work, how would I ever focus? How’s sally?

Nick: I think I convinced her that she should stay home, get some rest. I’ll go and check on her just as soon as I make sure you’re settled.

Sharon: How could I ever feel settled with everything this maniac has hanging over me? Even from beyond the grave. What if there’s another box, nick? And another, and another? This guy is in my head and I hate him for it.

Nick: It could be the end of it, you know. His last gasp.

Sharon: It’s hard to believe there will ever be an end to cameron in my life. Leaving me his company? It’s like he knew he was going to die and he thought of everything he could to stay in my life.

Nick: He was one twisted son of a bitch.

Sharon: I hope he’s burning in hell. Sweet pillows of softness!

Announcer: Additional sponsorship provided by…

Nate: So you know… I am totally prepped to spearhead the babcock meeting. Not just their financials. And you’re right about the cfo. I had done some digging and found some inside information about the guy. Likes, dislikes, quirks. And he’s got some doozies. So, I’ll proceed with those in mind.

Victoria: Why am I not surprised that you’ve already done research?

Nate: Because you know I’ll always have your back. So, of course, I know what’s on your calendar. I’ve been gathering intel so you’d be well armed.

Victoria: Excellent.

Nate: To have the power to change the course of this company… lives… the future. It’s intoxicating. Almost as intoxicating as the way you’re looking at me right now.

Audra: That sounded like you’ve gone a few rounds with a newman or two.

Kyle: Hm, more than a few. I don’t have a problem with most of them. Strong personalities, driven, know what they want. But when somebody crosses a line and somebody always does, things can get pretty extreme.

Audra: Well, coloring inside the lines never got anybody anywhere.

Kyle: Yeah, well, for the newman family, collateral damage is just part of the game, as long as they get what they want.

Audra: That fire can be productive. Or it can burn you.

Kyle: Speaking from experience?

Audra: Ah, let’s just say I’ve been singed more than a few times.

Kyle: You look like you recovered.

Audra: Yeah, you know, I– I used to let it get to me. I’d obsess over what could have been, should have been. But blew up. Maybe my fault. You know, maybe not. Then, you know, working with tucker mccall, you know, he was hardcore. Nothing would get in his way before he went all zen. At first I thought that made him soft, but then, you know, I realized that… that’s just given him more focus. Know what you want, hone in on it and the universe rewards you.

Kyle: So, you play nice and you get to go to the front of the line?

Audra: I didn’t say anything about playing nice.

Kyle: Hm.

Adam: Thank you for the condolences, but given your husband’s feelings for sally, you’ll understand if your sympathies feel a bit disingenuous.

Nikki: Adam, I am speaking to you as a fellow parent who has experienced loss. And it is unimaginable. The emptiness is overwhelming. Your vision of your future with your child has been taken from you.

Adam: Taken from me? No, no. Ask sally. This was my choice. Our little girl is dead because of me.

Nikki: That is not true.

Adam: Well, it is to sally and she hates me for it. I mean, our little girl didn’t even get to take a breath because of me.

Nikki: Adam, it was an impossible choice.

Adam: But, I mean, you can’t be surprised that I screwed up, right? ‘Cause I’m no hero, I’m not like nicholas.

Nikki: You saved her life.

Adam: Well, apparently, that doesn’t count.

Nikki: Yes, of course it does. And thank god you did.

Adam: God? God doesn’t factor into this equation because any god who makes someone choose between mother and child isn’t a god that I believe in.

Nikki: You’re angry and that’s understandable, but you cannot let it consume you.

Adam: I don’t know. It seems to be my comfort zone these days. But, nikki, if you will excuse me.

Nikki: Adam, listen. Listen. You have a bright, wonderful son who needs you and you have people who care about you. I hope you can hold onto that.

Sharon: I go to sleep and cameron is in my dreams. I wake up and I flinch at every little noise. I worry about every delivery. And faith, it takes everything in me not to call her every hour on the hour to make sure that she’s okay.

Nick: Yeah, I’m right there with you. But I’m worried about you too, sharon. You can say you’re fine and that you’re processing it and that there’s nothing for me to worry about, but that ends now. Tell me what’s going on.

Sharon: I killed that man. And I watched him die. It still haunts me.

Nick: You did what you had to do to save your daughter’s life. To save all of us.

Sharon: I know. And I don’t regret that. How could I? But it still pushes me to places I don’t want to go. I just want to stop seeing him everywhere I look and I don’t know how to make that happen. And I am so angry that this bastard has this much control over my life. How do I move on? How do I find peace?

Nick: I don’t, uh, have an answer for that, but… I’m here. All right? I’m all in. For whatever you need.

Sharon: I have an idea. But you would have to get your hands dirty.

Nick: Whatever it takes. If you’re taking an antidepressant

Adam: Mccall needs to be lean and mean. I want to sell off our deadweight and keep anything that can be weaponized against our competitors. And there is only one. Newman media and I want to crush them. I’ll call you back. What?

Victor: I just got a call from nikki. She’s worried about you. And so am I.

[ Phone chiming ]

Nikki: What on earth?

Victoria: You know, one way that I would like to expand is to grow our global commercial real estate. We already have a very strong presence in asia and in the middle east, but I’m hearing about some very interesting eu opportunities.

Nate: Sounds intriguing.

Victoria: Mm-hmm. And, you know, now that my kids are gonna be away at boarding school, it’s gonna give me time this fall to do some more in-depth research.

Nate: So, a business trip?

Victoria: Yeah. That’s what the jet’s for.

[ Nate laughing ] And you know, I know that our last business trip didn’t really go as planned, I understand that, but that’s behind us. We’re free to be together now and… it’s not gonna be all about business. We’re gonna have to absorb the local culture to get a feel for the different marketplaces.

Nate: The food, the night life, you. My bag is already packed.

[ Door opening ]

Nikki: Sorry for the interruption.

Victoria: No. Not at all.

Nikki: Nate. Would you excuse us? I need to speak with victoria alone.

Victoria: Mother!

Nate: All good. All good. I need to prep for the babcock meeting. Nikki, I will get the quarterly account receivables to you for your review. I think you’ll be pleased with the numbers.

Nikki: I am sure I will be. Thank you. He’s meeting with babcock alone?

Victoria: He’s prepared, he’s enthusiastic, he has a great attitude, unlike you.

Nikki: Is your intention to keep nicholas away from newman enterprises for good? (Wheezing)

Victoria: Of course I’m not boxing nick out. Why would you think that?

Nikki: I just found out that you dissolved nicholas’ support team. Now he has barely stepped away, on your orders, temporarily, but now you seem to be making moves that will be more permanent.

Victoria: You don’t understand.

Nikki: No, I don’T. Why don’t you explain it to me?

Victoria: Mother, this is a very fast paced business. It’s constantly evolving. You have to stay one step ahead. It’s not as though I fired nicholas’ team. I’ve just reassigned them to different departments so that they’re not sitting around collecting paychecks, waiting for nick to return.

Nikki: Why not have them continue in the same capacity for nate? Help him get acquainted with his job as acting coo while nicholas is gone.

Victoria: No. No, nate doesn’t need his hand held. He’s done the work. He knows the position.

[ Nikki chuckling ]

Nikki: I’m sure he’s been studying up for weeks.

Victoria: He’s very hands on.

Nikki: Oh, I have no doubt.

Victoria: His drive and his energy and his focus. He’s made it clear that he wants to take on more of the workload. He wants to be fully involved.

Nikki: Are you suggesting that nicholas wasn’t?

Victoria: Nicholas has and continues to have all these outside distractions that keep him from giving the 110% and that’s what we expect at newman.

Nikki: Wow. You have an answer for everything. But this doesn’t feel like a business move. It feels personal. A way for you to strike out at your brother.

Victoria: Mother, it’s not personal. It’s necessary. Nick’s team has shown that they’re not on board with our current agenda. And I– I’m sorry, but I have no other choice.

Nikki: I don’t even know what that means.

Victoria: Like nick, his team doesn’t see adam or mccall as a threat. Nate is willing to go up against mccall. That’s the kind of leadership that I’m looking for in my coo.

Nikki: I see. Well, as your co-ceo, I’m going on record and warning you that I find this to be very aggressive and unnecessary.

Victoria: It’s just good business. I wish you could see the larger picture.

Nikki: Oh, I can see all too clearly, victoria.

Victoria: So, whatever it is, you’re dying to say it, so go ahead.

Nikki: Is all of this retaliation because nicholas warned you about nate?

Victoria: I told you my logic.

Nikki: This has nothing to do with logic. This is about ashland.

Victoria: Don’t be ridiculous!

Nikki: Nicholas warned you time and time again about him, but you refused to listen. And he was right. I think deep down, you’re worried that he’s right this time as well.

Nick: I hope that gave you some freedom.

Sharon: I should have said something.

Nick: For cameron?

Sharon: No. His victims. All the people he hurt, the deaths he caused, the damage he did. Like that woman who lives in los angeles. The one he assaulted. I hope she knows that cameron’s dead and that he can never hurt her again and that she has found peace.

Nick: And you?

Sharon: It might take a little while longer. It’s not just the fear. The space cameron’s taking up in my head, but it’s the guilt.

Nick: The guilt?

Sharon: I brought this maniac into our lives. Our daughter was kidnapped. She might’ve been killed. All because of one stupid choice I made years ago.

Nick: You cannot blame yourself.

Sharon: How can I not? Faith, you know, as strong as she was through this ordeal, this is going to mark her. All of us. In ways we can’t even know yet. All of the psychology classes and degrees in the world can’t give me that answer.

Nick: You already know the answer. It’s love. You and faith are not alone in this. You have me and mariah and tessa and noah. So many people who love you both and will be there for you no matter what.

Sharon: We’re here for you, too.

Nick: Luckiest guy in the world.

[ Nick sighing ] You don’t want cameron’s business. Let’s get rid of this. Let’s throw it away and be done with it and cameron forever.

Sharon: Nick, wait. Watching all that misery turn to ash gave me an idea.

Audra: Newman media was an early adopter of ai. You know, but if we really ramp up, increase focus on using it as a distribution tool, set up algorithms to select content for our users, I mean, it could be a gamechanger for our metrics. Oh, I’m sorry. I’m probably boring you.

Kyle: That would be impossible.

Audra: You know, I– I’ve wanted this for so long. You know, to be at the table, just making decisions that can change everything. And it’s– it’s actually happening.

Kyle: I’m excited for you.

Audra: I’m excited for me, too. And I don’t know how long I’ll be ceo, but I’m going to light newman up every minute I’m there.

Kyle: No coloring in the lines for you.

Audra: Oh, no. The brighter, the bigger, the better. Uh, what’s wrong?

Kyle: Oh, you know, all this talk about coloring outside the lines has inspired me.

Audra: Okay?

Kyle: It’s a beautiful morning. Perfect time to live in the now.

Audra: If you’re gonna ask me something, you should just ask me. (Buzz) are you guys telling secrets?

Announcer: The young and the restless will continue. What can you do with sensitive skin?

Kyle: We don’t have time for what I want to ask you.

Audra: Good. Because the answer would be no.

Kyle: Oh, the big meeting.

Audra: Lots of them.

Kyle: Okay. How about later?

Audra: You are so–

Kyle: Charming? Irresistible?

Audra: Relentless.

Kyle: I’ll take it.

Audra: Put in your number. If I have time, I’ll call you.

Kyle: If you have time. There you go.

Audra: Don’t get your hopes up.

Kyle: You’ll call.

Audra: Oh.

[ Audra chuckling ]

Victor: I gotta tell you, I am deeply sympathetic and so is nikki to both of you and sally. Loss of a child is just unimaginable.

Adam: If you say it’s better this way or if everything happens for a reason, I’m out of here.

Victor: Son, I’m just here to find out how you’re coping. And I wanna know if there’s anything we can do to help you.

Adam: [ Sighing ] I’m– I’m good.

Victor: No, you’re not. Be honest with me. You and sally are going through hell right now.

Adam: The only time you’ve said sally’s name was like a curse. So, now you care about sally?

Victor: Son, I wouldn’t wish this on anyone. Not on my worst enemy. And I saw the joy on her face, and the joy on your face, anticipating the birth of your child.

Adam: Well, good news for you, she never wants to see me again. So, I guess you can take the win on this one, okay? Nikki already gave me the “don’t be angry” talk. She said let it go. Focus on connor. On the people who love me. I mean, what a laugh that is, right? Not exactly a popular guy these days. I mean, not ever, come to think about it. But at least I have my work, right? Is that where I should thank you?

Victor: I don’t want you to thank me. I’m here to tell you how to best get over your grief. You should throw all of your energies, all of your mental capacity into building mccall into the powerhouse it can be.

Adam: Yes. And the potential’s there.

Victor: Yes.

Adam: So, first, we clean house. And anyone who is loyal to tucker’s gonna get a severance package. And then we’re gonna focus on infrastructure. The entertainment divisions are gonna stay. Anything else is gonna be jettisoned and we’re gonna use that profit to focus on horizontal diversification. Specifically, the media divisions.

Victor: So, you’re gonna go after newman.

Adam: It’s good to have goals, right?

Victor: That doesn’t mean that you go after the newman media division.

Adam: I built that company. I made it. And I want it back.

Victor: Is that what this is about?

Adam: Pretty much.

Victor: Or, is it about you wanting to recapture the wonderful days you had with sally at newman media? Hm?

Adam: I appreciate the armchair analysis, but this is strictly about business.

Victor: Let me tell you something. Trying to recapture those days is a mistake. And so is attacking newman media.

Adam: I think that it is brilliant.

Victor: My boy… newman media is part of the newman family portfolio. Don’t mess with that.

Nick: So, you’re interested in cameron’s company?

Sharon: Not so much his company.

Nick: You lost me.

Sharon: What I could do with it. Kirsten incorporated is a tech company. It must have assets and some capital, right?

Nick: I’m sure it has some value. Unless it imploded during kirsten’s years in prison.

Sharon: What if I could take that value and make something good out of this nightmare? There has to be something that I can do with this that would make a difference in people’s lives. Either turning a profit with the company or maybe selling it out right. Donating all the proceeds to charity.

Nick: I like the sound of that.

Sharon: Who knows? Maybe if I take control of cameron’s company, I take back the power he has over me and my life. My actions, my reactions. Instead of running away from who cameron was and what he did, I will transform that hate and anger and fear into an opportunity to help people.

Nick: You just thought of that right now?

Sharon: Maybe I’ve been thinking about it for a long time. You know, the past few years have made me consider what I want out of my life. What my purpose is. And rey was an influence in that. You know, he always made the right choice, even if it was unpopular. He wanted to make a difference every single day and he did so. And now I want that. I’m ready for that. And you’re right. It has everything to do with love. I have been so blessed all my life with so much love. Such an amazing support system of friends and family who have been there for me through everything. Battling cancer, learning how to live with bipolar and now… this horror with cameron. As much as he terrorized me, maybe the gift of this nightmare is that I have found the strength that I’d forgotten I have.

Nick: I think you’re one of the strongest people I know.

Sharon: Well, I lost myself. For a little while there, I did some things, I hurt some people, but I own that. And those things made me who I am, but they are not all I am. And maybe this… is a gift. It’s time for a new direction. It’s time for a new future. With downy infusions,

Victoria: How could you bring up ashland?

Nikki: It seems very appropriate given the circumstances.

Victoria: My god, mom! Every time I do something that you and dad don’t approve of, it’s like you throw that name at me! It’s almost like you enjoy rubbing that awful mistake in my face.

Nikki: The only reason I mentioned it was to try to get through to you.

Victoria: Well,

[ Sighing ] Message received. If there’s nothing else, I have a very full day today.

Nikki: Victoria, I am just trying to understand. You’ve forced nicholas to take a leave of absence he doesn’t want, you got rid of his staff and now you seem to be preparing for and all-out war with adam.

Victoria: A war that he’s starting.

Nikki: You have a responsibility to the board, young lady, and the family.

Victoria: I know that!

Nikki: Oh, do you? You’ve alienated nicholas, you’re going after adam. And nate is just cheering you on.

Victoria: Nate is supporting me. Which is a lot more than I can say about my own family right now!

Nikki: How do you think your father is going to react to this?

Victoria: If he would listen me instead of jumping to conclusions and judging me, maybe we could have a conversation about it.

Nate: Sorry to interrupt. The meeting with babcock is set. I wanted to brief you. And you, nikki, as well, of course.

Nikki: I have work to do. Victoria can fill me in. Excuse me.

Nate: Your mother’s not too pleased with the changes.

Victoria: Well, if you’re not pissing people off, then you’re not doing it right.

[ Knocking at door ] Come in.

Audra: Hi, I know you’re crazy busy, but I wanted to give you an update on some new directives that I want to put in place for, uh, newman media. Building off of nate’s plans.

Nate: Time for a quick meeting?

Victoria: Sure. I don’t see why not. Let’s see what you’ve learned from your boss.

Adam: Look, I’m your son, I’m not your puppet.

Victor: I’m concerned about you.

Adam: Well, you shouldn’t be, okay? I’m fine. Especially if people stop telling me how to act, how to feel, what to think, okay? Because I’ve never been clearer on what I want and how to get it.

Victor: Son, you’re running on emotions. That’s not a good thing. When you’re trying to rebuild a company into the powerhouse that it can be. Let me give you a piece of advice. Whenever you make a business decision, keep emotions out of it.

Adam: Okay, well, thank you for the advice that I didn’t need, but I’m gonna run mccall the way that I see fit.

[ Victor sighing ]

Victor: Always a smart alec, right? I offered to be your sounding board. I offered for you to take advantage of the vast experience I have in building companies. That can change in an instant. Don’t forget that.

Adam: So, are you threatening me, now?

Victor: You take that any way you want. But I’m telling you… I’m not your enemy. I’m the biggest supporter you have. Don’t mess with it.

Kyle: Gerard? It’s kyle abbott. I’d like to have some flowers delivered. No! No, not to marchetti. These are for an audra charles. She’s staying at the athletic club. Uh, I’m thinking… something a little wild and gorgeous, unique. That sounds good. And the note, um… “from one overachiever to another, thanks for showing me your moves.” No– no name. She’ll know. Oh, gerrard. Um… I’d like some earrings as well. I’m thinking diamonds. Yes. Just charge it to my account. Thanks.

[ Kyle sighing ]

I have type 2 diabetes, I got this $1,000 camera for only $41 on dealdash. Dealdash.Com, online auctions since 2009. This playstation 5 sold for only 50 cents. This ipad pro sold for less than $34. And this nintendo switch, sold for less than $20. I got this kitchenaid stand mixer for only $56. I got this bbq smoker for 26 bucks. And shipping is always free. Go to dealdash.Com right now and see how much you can save. Join me in the

Victoria: You have really done your homework. Not that I would expect anything less.

Nate: Out of the park, audra. I’m looking forward to these next steps.

Audra: I plan to blow you away. All right, well, I have the crawford pictures meeting to prep for, but I’ll keep you updated.

Nate: Thank you again for taking on those negotiations. They are going to love you.

Audra: That’s the goal.

Victoria: Good work, audra. Thank you.

Audra: Thank you.

Nate: That one is gold. The fire, the energy, the drive. And the creativity? I couldn’t ask for a better acting ceo at newman media.

Victoria: Well, she’s definitely on the top of her game, but she’s only there because you put her there.

Nate: I am very excited for this next phase of newman media and newman enterprises. I think the restructuring will make all the difference.

Victoria: And with audra doing so beautifully at newman media, we are free to focus on making sure that mccall is nothing but misery for adam.

Nikki: Oh, I hope I’m not interrupting.

Victor: Hi, sweetheart.

Nikki: Hi.

Adam: Uh, no. We just finished. Good chat.

Victor: All right, son.

Adam: As always.

Nikki: Well, I’m glad you were able to catch up with adam. How was he?

[ Victor exhaling ]

Victor: He’s stuffing down his anger and his grief. No good. It’ll backfire. And then he wants to take down newman media. And that’s a very bad combination.

Nikki: I’m almost as worried about victoria.

Victor: Why?

Nikki: She has completely sidelined nicholas. Restructured his support team to suit nate. She’s getting ready to go to battle with tucker mccall, again, with nate’s backing. I mean, he is feeding her sense of power and she will not listen to anyone else.

Victor: Oh, boy. Oh, boy. That means that victoria and adam are aiming for a head-on collision.

Nick: You know, all the years I’ve known you, sharon, one thing never changes. You always manage to surprise me.

Sharon: Well, get ready. Because I have no idea what the future holds, but it’s going to surprise me, too. I can’t wait to share this with mariah and tessa. Not just the idea, but this very moment. The shift from fear to empowerment. Going from being afraid, wanting to hide and stay safe, to… trusting myself. And following my instincts, wherever they lead. Finding that strength that was always there. I want to teach them that there is always a way to come back from those dark moments. Not just come back, but flourish. Everything changes now.

[ Relaxing music ]

Steffy: You can’t do that. I thought I made myself clear back in rome. Look, I– I know you’re going through a lot right now. You’re freaking out about what you saw, hope and thomas kissing and maybe you think that you made a mistake putting your trust in hope. I– I don’t know, but I feel bad for you. I– I really do. But you can’t come here and kiss me. I am a married woman, liam. Happily married.Ed to respect that.

Rj: You’re serious? He– liam flew all the way to rome and then he came back without saying a word to you? ‘Cause he saw you in the colosseum kissing thomas?

Ridge: Thomas.

Thomas: Hey, dad.

Ridge: You know what these are?

Thomas: I do not.

Ridge: These are the orders from rome. Lots of orders from rome. Your commitment to hope for the future really paid off. Proud of you.

Thomas: Thank you.

Ridge: Hope’s gotta feel pretty good about the choice she made.

Thomas: What do you mean?

Ridge: Asking you to come back to work. It couldn’t have been easy for her knowing how liam feels about you. But I gotta say, even liam’s gotta agree that this was the right thing after everything that happened with you and hope in rome. You’re important to her. Made a big impact in her life.

Hope: I have a feeling liam will leave me because of this.

Rj: No, come on.

Hope: Really? I mean, he has. He’s already– he’s gone and I don’t know if or when he’s ever going to come back, so–

Brooke: Hope, I was wondering– oh!

Rj: Hey.

Brooke: Hi, rj. Everything okay? What’s wrong? What’s going on?

Rj: This has to come from you, not me.

Hope: Um… [ Chuckling ] Okay. I… I think my marriage might be over.

Brooke: What?

Hope: Yeah. Liam walked out.

Brooke: Walked out?

Hope: On me. On our marriage. I think it’s over.

Steffy: Look, when you kissed me before, as– as crazy as that was, I was willing to forgive it, understand it. You were extremely upset. You saw hope and thomas kissing and you reacted impulsively. That I could let go. I could pretend like it never happened. I was hoping that we would never talk about it again, but it looks like we do need to talk about it.

Liam: No, I– I know. I– you’re right. I– I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have done that. I– I don’t know what’s wrong with me, but it doesn’t solve anything. And you– you’re– you’re happily married like you said. You have a family that you love.

Steffy: Okay. Okay. Whatever this is, you need to snap out of it because this could never, ever happen again. Hey, dad. I got an a on my book report.

Ridge: Could you have imagined that a year ago, a year ago, could you have imagined that a month ago, you and hope would be doing what you did in rome?

Thomas: I used to think about it a lot. What we could achieve. You know, it’s hard to think that it actually happened.

Ridge: But do you know why it happened?

Thomas: My unbelievable talent.

Ridge: No. It’s because you earned her trust and you earned her respect. And not just professionally, but personally. And that showed in your work.

Thomas: It’s good to know that she has faith in me.

Ridge: She’s not the only one. Son, I hate to bring this up, but I am– I’m so glad that you’ve gotten over this obsession with hope. It’s good to see you here. I have my son back. Believe it or not, people really like that guy.

Brooke: Hope, this doesn’t make sense. What reason would liam have to leave you? He adores you and he loves his family very much.

Hope: Oh, I know. I know that, mom. And that’s just making it even harder.

Brooke: Okay. Why don’t you just tell me what happened?

Hope: Rome happened.

Brooke: Rome was a success.

Hope: For the line, yes.

Brooke: But liam should be very proud of you, honey. What happened in rome that would make him wanna walk out on you? I mean, he wasn’t even there.

Hope: He– he was actually.

Brooke: What?

Hope: Yeah, he came and he wanted to surprise me.

Brooke: Oh, I didn’t see him there.

Rj: Just tell her. She’s not gonna judge you.

Brooke: Hope?

Hope: No, I– I never saw liam either, but I guess he– he saw me. With thomas.

Brooke: With thomas? What does he have to do with this? Oh, okay. What did thomas do now?

Steffy: We have both moved on, both remarried. I am in a relationship, one where I feel safe, loved and respected.

Liam: I don’T. I haven’t felt that way in a long time and hope never respected my wishes about her working with a damn maniac no offense.

Steffy: Offense taken. Please do not insult my brother. He has worked really hard on himself.

Liam: Okay. You’re right. I’m sorry. But honestly, how many times has thomas insulted me? How many times has he trashed me? How many times has– how many different ways has he targeted me and my marriage and my family? How much pain and suffering has he caused? How– how could hope stand to be anywhere near that? Let alone wanna– wanna touch him and kiss him. Thomas? Really? Your brother? Really? How– how could she want that? How?

Steffy: I don’t know. I– I really don’t know what to say, what I can do to comfort you, but it’s definitely not with this kiss, that I do know. I understand that you’re hurt and you feel betrayed, but that doesn’t justify turning to me. Look, I– I wanna help you through this and I will help you through this. Liam… look, I believe that you and hope will find your way back to each other. I really do. Or not. Either way, you can’t just come here and kiss me. Look, we’re always gonna be close. We’re kelly’s parents. But that is all.

Liam: Yeah.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year

Thomas: Wow. That’s coming together fast.

Ridge: Yeah. Huh? Well, maybe watching brooke, uh, model inspired me again. I don’t know.

Thomas: Oh, that’s a little weird, but keep ’em coming nonetheless.

Ridge: Thomas?

Thomas: Mm-hmm.

Ridge: Thanks again.

Thomas: For what?

Ridge: For understanding. Maybe even in your own way, supporting me and brooke getting back together.

Thomas: Well, if that is not a sign that I have changed, I don’t know what is.

Ridge: I know this isn’t easy for you, not easy for your sister, and I know it’s not easy for your mom, but I’m trying. At least hope is in a good place. It’s a start.

Brooke: Ah! I knew it. I knew thomas would be a problem. I mean, all this talk of bettering himself and working so hard to make himself a better person, going to therapy, that was all a lie. What did he do? What did he do to make liam wanna walk out on you?

Hope: He didn’t do anything, mom. It was me.

Brooke: What could you have done, sweetie?

Hope: Well, uh…

[ Chuckling ] You called it. You know, you saw it coming a million miles away that there’s just something in me, I guess, that makes me want to cross that line and I, um, I kissed the one man that could destroy everything.

[ Brooke sighing ]

Brooke: So, you kissed thomas.

Steffy: Liam, I know you don’t wanna hear this, but you gotta forgive hope. I’m not saying it’s gonna be easy. It isn’T. But you and hope have a beautiful family and you need to think about beth.

Liam: Was hope thinking about beth when she was sticking her tongue down your brother’s throat?

Steffy: Okay. Liam, you gotta figure out a way to get through this pain and forgive her.

Liam: Yeah, but I can’t, so.

Steffy: People make mistakes. We both know that.

Liam: Yeah. No, I know that. I’ve made plenty.

Steffy: Mistakes hope’s forgiven you for.

Liam: Yeah. Well, maybe she’s a better person than I am. I don’t know. But looking forward, how am I supposed to exist with thomas as a constant presence in my life and my marriage after this? And it’s not just co-parenting douglas, it’s working together with hope on the line. It’s–

Steffy: Maybe that changes. Maybe hope leaves forrester creations and thomas takes over and she can focus on your marriage and prove that she’s committed to you.

Liam: Steffy, hope is not gonna do that. And even if she did, I don’t know how it would work. I don’t know how I’d be able to trust. It– it’s just– it’s– it’s too painful given everything that thomas has done. And for her to still want to– uh, I just– I can’T. I’m done. I’m done. But I– but I didn’t mean to upset you and I am really sorry for my behavior. Kayaking is my thing.

Thomas: We are in rome.

Everything is a feast

for the eyes.

What do you wanna do?

Hope: Let’s go out and see

the city before we have to go

back to our normal

everyday lives.

You can’t leave rome without

seeing the colosseum.

I– I think this

might easily be

one of the greatest days

of my life.

Brooke: Just tell me that thomas did this, honey. He coerced you into kissing him, right?

Hope: Mom, thomas didn’t do anything. It was me. I was the one who kissed someone that I never should have. I was the one who acted irresponsibly, recklessly– [ Chuckling ] Inappropriately. I mean, that’s me, right? That’s who I’ve become now. Turning to a man that I should be disgusted by.

Brooke: Honey, is this what you want? You want a life with thomas?

Hope: No. No. I want– I want my husband. I want our life together. I want– I love him. I love our kids and I don’t know why– why I would risk losing everything. I mean, I am not proud of this, mom. I take full responsibility. This is on me and I am ashamed and I am embarrassed by it.

[ Voice breaking ] And I want more than anything to just save my marriage. I don’t wanna lose it. I don’t want to give up on it. And I don’t wanna give up on liam.

Liam: I really do mean it, steffy. I’m– I’m sorry I did that.

Steffy: I’m glad to hear that because if you think there was ever a chance that I would leave finn and go back to you… I’m married and so are you.

Liam: Not for much longer.

Steffy: Well, I’m– I’m sorry about that. I truly am, but I like my life and my marriage and I’m not changing that for anything. So my advice, go back to hope. She asked for forgiveness, right?

Liam: Yeah, she did.

Steffy: Okay. Well, go back to her. Go back to hope and your family and what happened here today and in rome, we don’t talk about that again, okay? Get outta here. Go back to your wife.

THIS STILL NEEDS EXTENSIVE EDITING!

Being at the hospital with me must have been difficult, but it, it meant a lot to me. I’m glad I could be there. Not as glad as I am.

Erica, you know, I should, I should go get that food for you. You’re to look a little pal.

What the hell have I walked in on? Oh, Leo Star. I never thought I’d say this, but thank God you are here. Well, I don’t mean to kink shame, but what is going on here? Oh, well, you know, playing cops and robbers can get a little outta hand, seriously. Of, of course not you, imbecile. Our sister, Megan did this to us.

She’s held US cap down here for weeks, weeks. Oh my gosh. I knew it. I knew it. You knew? Well, I knew she was up to something, so I followed her here. Lady Whistleblower can always sniff out a good story, and you’d be surprised how more often than not my nose leads me to uncovering an underground bondage dungeon just like yours.

Oh god. All right. This isn’t a bondage dungeon, huh? Well, I should hope not. It’s not usually siblings. I find all tied up together. So why did Megan do this to you? Because we found out that she was planning on

well out with it. Handsome planning on what? Uh,

I don’t, I don’t remember.

Hey, where is the host? I mean, people are starting to get a little restless Honored. Guests welcome. Now please accept my apologies for the delay. In order to make this a really special night tonight, I had to bring a bottle of my father’s very favorite champagne. Just took me a little longer to get it than I expected, but I’m here now and I’m so glad that you are all here too.

Because there is nothing in this world more important than family is there. I am so grateful that you have all welcomed me back into your bosom,

and I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to host this lovely gathering for my newfound brother and his gorgeous bride to be. And I just know that father is smiling down on us now. Happy to see us all together again. Well, at least most of us. Yeah, very few of us. And yes, I know that we have our differences, but we overcome them, don’t we?

That’s what families do. Well, normal family is like yours. My sister Megan, she’s an assassin. Thomas Banks had to kill us. So all those things are a little bit hard to overcome. Mm-hmm. I’m so sorry for all of the lost years that we could have spent together, but I look forward to the many, many happy years to come.

And now I want everyone to grab a glass of champagne so we can toast the happy couple, the lovely Gabriela and my charming brother Stephan. Oh my God. Harris Michaels, what the hell are you doing here?

Sorry, Kate. Commander Michaels is in accepting calls at this time. He’s under new management and Megan and Ivory, give him his first assignment. Eliminate Stephan Demara.

Sorry to interrupt the festivities, but I’m gonna need everyone to move to that side of the room right now. No sudden movements. Let’s go. I’d hate for my friend here cause I have to start barking orders. Michaels, what are you doing? I’m here to eliminate a threat. What threat? Oh my God, don’t you see? I’m the threat.

He’s here to kill me.

Like Sands through the hourglass. So are the days of our lives.

This looks delicious. Well, Harold, he did most of the work, but for the record, I did toast the toast. Oh, really? Mm-hmm. I was just gonna say how toasty the toast looks. I think you found your new calling. You know what? Drink some tea. Stay hydrated. The doctor’s orders. Okay.

Oh yeah. It’s the spot. It’s even worth all your nagging. I’m looking out for you and the baby. Yeah, only the baby’s father was so attentive. Eric, I, I, I really do appreciate your help, but EJ should be the one doing this instead of being on some secret business trip where he couldn’t even be bothered to answer his phone.

Well, I’m sure he has his reasons. Well, they’re not gonna be good enough. It’s like he’s forgotten what’s important. This baby isn’t even born yet. He’s already abandoned us.

You don’t remember? Come on. This isn’t like your locker combination, Sean, but let me think. Come on, come on, come on, come on. Ah, it’s like the memory is evaporated from my brain. I, I know something should be there, but it’s not. I, I, I dunno. What do you think? Hm? What do you think? What do I think? Hm. Um, oh, I, I think that Megan injected us with something.

She’d make us forget, forget what her plan. Uh, uh, probably, um, the thing is, is that I have no idea what, uh, what, you know, what? I, I don’t even, I don’t know any of this. I might have a vague idea. Does it have something to do with her son, Dimitri? What about it? Well, he proposed to my best friend Gwen, but I think he and mommy dearest have an ulterior motive.

Does any of that ring a bell? Oh, actually, I. It does sound familiar.

It’s all happening right upstairs. Soon Stefan will be dead. And I’ll be there to pick up the pieces for Gabby Lee.

What doing here?

Can’t you see? This man wants revenge for everything that I did to him. He even came to my house a couple of weeks ago and threatened me. Mother, why didn’t you tell me? I, I thought he was all talk that it was just a hollow threat. I didn’t realize that he was this terrain enough. No, Michaels. You wanna hurt my mother?

You’re gonna go through me first. No, Dimitri, stay outta this. Relax. I’m not here to kill either one of you. Oh, thank God. I’m here to kill Stephan.

You’re here to kill Stephan. Yeah, I don’t understand. You don’t even know me. I assure you, Mr. Damara, there’s nothing personal. I’m just following orders. Whose orders?

I can’t. Just watch him do this. We’ll call the police.

Drop it. I’m sorry.

Next person I see with the phone will not get a warning. Is that understood?

This can go one of two ways. Everybody can do as they’re told and survive the night, or I can take out as many people as I have to to complete my mission. Okay. You said earlier you were eliminating a threat. How am I a threat to you? Isn’t it obvious, Stephan? I mean, who would consider you a threat?

No. Yeah. It has to be EJ who, who’s conveniently not at this party, who’s been plotting against you this entire time, who would be crazy enough to hire this lunatic to take you out. Is that true? Did my brother hire you? Answer me, dammit.

Fine. If you must know

it wasn’t ej I. And who, who are you working for?

The man who wants you dead is Lee Chen. What? What?

I didn’t hear you sneak up on me. Oh, I’m not sneaking up on anyone. I’m just trying to go to my sister’s engagement party. Running a little late, aren’t you? Yeah. Well, things have been a little hectic down at the station. Of course, I heard about Mayor Carver. I’m so sorry. Uh, you still haven’t answered to my question.

What are you doing lurking about? No one’s lurking, but I was just, uh, passing through. Yeah. Seemed a little nervous to be just passing through. I’m not, you were thinking about going up there. Weren’t you crashing the party, creating a scene?

Fine. You got me. Commissioner Guilty’s charged.

Okay. Okay. I was right. Lady. Whistleblower strikes again. Megan and her son aren’t just using Gwen, but why? I, I, I don’t remember. Damn it. Woman. What you think? Don’t get your hands off of you. Little creep. Listen, you’re friends with Gwen too, don’t you wanna help her? Something tells me that my sister’s plan is a lot more sinister than manipulating your friend.

I, I feel like it’s more high stakes, like it’s life or death. Are you saying Gwen is in danger? I feel like someone else is the main target. Like who? I don’t know. It’s just a gut feeling. Oh my God, you two are useless. Oh no. You know who is useless. You found us ages ago and you still haven’t UNT yet. It would help if you asked nicely unless you wanna fully commit to your non day plume lady.

I suggest you untie us now. I even say, please, no. Hey,

I’m sorry. I am sure the last thing you wanna hear is me complaining about ej. It’s okay. I mean, you have every right to be angry. Look, you, you, you should go. Don’t feel obligated to stay it. I don’t feel obligated. And you know what? You shouldn’t be alone right now. No, I, I told you the cramps turned out to be nothing trip.

And the ob g y n said that I’m fine. And so is the baby besides Harold’s here if I need anything. Are you sure? I’m sure.

All right. Okay, thanks. Listen, thanks again. I, I am grateful. That I can still count on You always.

I can’t do this. I’m with ej.

Hi. Yeah. Well then where is he?

I’m sorry, I, I’m sorry. I just, I felt that old pool between us and those old feelings of being abandoned and worthless. Okay. You shouldn’t feel either. And he jay’s a jackass for doing this to you. And if that baby were mine,

I’m sorry. That’s not helpful.

That’s okay. You would’ve been the perfect father

and you still can be if things work out with you. And Sloane,

thank you for saying that. It’s the truth.

Speaking of which, I have some hard truths to face with EJ if I ever see him again. That is, And if I do or when I do, I don’t know if I can forgive him for this disappearing when I need him the most. I am gonna kill when I right there. Oh, Nicole. Thank God, ej,

we put you up to this. Is that so hard to believe? Apparently the guy still has something for you. And, and that maniac thinks that killing my fiance is the way to win bad my love. I believe it’s more of a, if I can’t have her then good job. Ralph Harris is convinced he’s working solely for Lee. Just as I planned, we’re we’re just as supposed to believe a crazy man with a gun.

Look, I know my brother and he would never hire someone to kill Stephan. He’s not a murderer. He did pull the plug on me when I was in a coma that was different. Okay. Making a split second mistake is a whole lot different than plotting to murder someone in cold blood because he says something you, you know, that’s not Lee.

Well, Stefan’s, right? Lee has a history of trying to eliminate his competition by any means necessary, but my brother has accepted that you moved on Gabby. I mean, he didn’t even fight to the divorce. He let you go. Wendy. Wendy, when we ran into Lee earlier tonight, he insisted you not come to this party.

That was just. About loyalty to him. Yeah. Boy, he didn’t want you getting caught up in the crossfire.

Lee, you need to stay away from this party. Do you hear me? Do you understand you have caused Gabby enough pain already? I know you’re right. I, it’s just, it’s just what Lee, I ran into my sister and Johnny Damara as they were headed in, and Gabby and Stephan, and honestly I tried to be happy for them, but seeing them, knowing what’s going on in there, I just can’t get it outta my head.

What could have been. I loved your sister so much. I still do. Okay. I hear you and I understand because I have been in a similar situation myself, but what you need to understand is what you and Gabby had before it is over. You need to accept that.

You can’t just willow away feelings brave. Sure you know that even now. Right now, knowing how happy they are up there just breaks my heart.

So it’s true. Lee put you up to this. Why would I lie? What the hell happened to, to turning your life around wanting redemption for all of the terrible things that you, this isn’t you, is it? You’ve been brainwashed again. This time by Lee Shin. No, you’re right. Chad Lee’s done this before. He, he brainwashed han into forgetting that he loved me and now he’s brainwashed hairs into becoming his assassin.

Owens Town hasn’t been brainwashed. Ah, it’s sort of a thing here. Just wait until somebody pulls off a Mission Impossible style mask. Mid party crash. Right? Shut up, everyone. Shut up. I don’t know what you’re talking about.

All I know is I have orders from Lee to kill you.

It’s about that time.

Aj, you’re here. Yes. Thank God I’m here with you. Um, when did you get back in town? I never left. What? Megan locked me in the tunnel. Hey, hey. US, us struck us in the tunnels. Okay. Why would she do that? We don’t know, but we’re pretty sure she gave us something that’s affecting our memories. Good God. How did you escape?

Well, I mean, thankfully Leo Stark found us and he set us free. Leo Stark? Yeah. What was he doing down there? No idea. I don’t remember.

Ah, Megan must be using this as her base of operations, so there has got to be something down here.

Oh my Gaga, jackpot pot. This is the good stuff. Ancestral wealth tear bubbly. No legal focused. No. Today you are a hero. You have got to find proof that Dimitri is up to no good. It’s the only way to stop going from getting hurt. Okay?

No. Oh, I can’t watch Michael’s. Michaels. Michaels. Just stop. All right. You don’t wanna do this. Orders are orders. But you don’t have to follow them. Whatever Lee did to you, Michaels fight it. Do not listen to Lee’s voice in your head. Michaels, you listen to your own. Okay? Deep down, you know this is wrong.

Think about that time that you set that bomb off at my apartment in Seattle. You felt terrible about that after you broke free from the brainwashing. You hated Megan for doing that to you. Um, how about we don’t remind the man with the gun how much he hates me? Please, please don’t let me make you do this.

You’re not a murderer. Um, actually, technically he is a murderer. I read his case and there were several instances where. Sorry, I have an idea. Let, let me get Lee on the phone and you know what? You probably think I’m gonna call 9 1 1. You get him on the phone and let me just talk to him right now. I can talk him out of this.

Please, please.

Thanks Ray. As much as I’m hurting, Hoda just made it worse. Humiliating myself at Gabby and Seven’s party. Nah, I’m glad you stopped me. I didn’t do it for you. Well, either way, you helped me and I appreciate it and I promise I’m headed straight home. Good. Give my congratulations to the happy couple.

Fair enough. Goodnight Lee.

Hopefully by the time you get up there, it’ll be too late. The job will have been completed.

Please let me call Lee. I I can straighten this up. Drop the phone, but Gabby’s right, she and I can make my brother realize what a mistake this is just two minutes. I said drop the phone right now, Gabby. Just do what he says. But Gabby,

I didn’t, I didn’t want to hurt Lee. Okay. Just my, my heart belongs to Stephan. He’s the only person that’s ever understood me, the real me. Everything I am and love me for it, not in spite of it. So if you shoot him, then you have to shoot me too, Gabby. Yes, please. I cannot live without him. Okay. I can’t. I can’t.

So please, I’m telling you, please don’t do this. Please don’t. I’m sorry, but I have no choice.

What happened?

Mother,

you shot me.

There’s just so much blood. Um, it’s okay. Um. I’m, I’m gonna go get help. Just keep putting pressure on it. Okay. I’ll be back. Hang on.

Why haven’t I heard from Megan? Steph should be good and dead by now.

Kevin, what are you doing here? Are you supposed to be your engagement party? I was there. I was there, and then Harris Michael showed up and killed Stephan. Oh my God. He didn’t hurt you, did he? No. You must be devastated. I was at first. Then I realized, Harry said me a favor. Did you A, did you a favor? What do you mean?

I thought, I love Stephan. But now that he’s gone, I realize you’re the only man ever truly loved. Wait, wait, wait. Don’t you need time to mourn? I can mourn Stephan tomorrow to tonight. I want you to rish me.

Hurry home to me, Gabby. You gotta let me go. I get a job to do him sit. Michael said that Lee ordered him to kill Stephan. We suspected, uh, that Lee brainwashed him. Lee dammit saw Lee outside. He was staring up here. Yeah, I thought he was going to come up here and wreak havoc and make a fool of himself.

Obviously it was much worse.

Okay. Um, the paramedics are on their way. She’s still unconscious. Okay. Don’t give up hope. Okay. She’s soon gonna get the help she needs. Mm-hmm. Hey, You all right.

Okay. Let’s get you outta here. Let’s go. Come on. How were you thinking going after him? Like that you could have gotten yourself killed. No, he was trying to kill you. You and he’s, how about thank you for saving my life. You were amazingly brave. You’re my hero. You Thank you for saving my life. And you are amazingly brave, but please.

Don’t do something that reckless ever again. No. I had to stop him. I couldn’t lose you. Not again. It’s okay. It’s okay now. He tried to keep us apart again and he failed again. Nothing can separate us. You and I, were gonna get married. We’re gonna have a long, wonderful life together and Lee is gonna pay for this and so is everybody else who helped him out.

So Megan held you to prisoner this whole time evil sadistic bitch, but you texted me. No, no, I, I did not. How I wish I could have, it must have been Megan using my phone obviously. Well, that explains why you didn’t answer my calls,

ej. I, I thought you abandoned me and the baby. Nicole. Nicole, I will never abandon you. You and this baby mean everything to me. You hear me? Everything.

Did you meet with a specialist? I did. And. She thinks that I can carry this baby to term. Oh my God, that’s wonderful news. That’s wonderful news. After all these years, we’re finally going to have a child together.

Mm.

I feel so much better after that shower. It helped clear some of the fogginess outta my head. Hey Jay, we really should have a doctor take a look at you. I mean, Megan’s drugs could have some side effects. We will. But first I want to address the elephant in the room. What do you mean? I think you know, Eric, what about him?

What was he doing here? Well, trust me, he came over for a very good reason, and, and we will talk about that, just not now. Okay. The, but the point is it, it was a blessing in disguise because I got some cramping. He took me to the hospital and, and everything’s fine. Everything’s fine. But Eric wanted to stay because, well, you, you weren’t around so I disappeared.

You thought the worst of me, that I didn’t care about you all. Al child, and you turned to Eric. No, it’s not how it went. Ej, you know how I feel about you. Do I, I mean, a few weeks ago I told you that I love you and you, you haven’t set it back.

I know, and I’m sorry. And when I think about how Megan could have killed you, I realize that I,

I do. I I love you.

You look skeptical. I, I just feel like I might have talked you into saying that. No, I pressured you. I hate to No, you, you didn’t. I, I, I said it because I feel it. You are the father of my child and the man I wanna be with. And if you don’t believe me, And maybe this will convince you, oh, I’m here. Mm-hmm.

Yes. I, I would like to report a kidnapping. Uh, my brother and I, ugh, ugh. My wicked witch of a sister. Actually, no. I, I don’t remember how it happened. No, no, no, no. I’m not kidding. Why would I joke about something so serious? You know, I just, just hold on. I, my brother. DJ.

Well, so much for being boy’s hero. At least I got this lovely souvenir. Uh, I just wish those two bozos could remember what Megan and Dimitri are up to. So I could tell my poorly diluted BFF before it’s too late. She would dump that miserable SOB and never look back.

Dimitri. Yeah. How’s your mom? They managed to keep her stable in the ambulance, and then they just rushed her straight into surgery as soon as we got here. When she just, she, she looked so pale. She, she was so fragile. Listen to me. She cheated death once, didn’t she? Mm-hmm. She’s, she’s gonna do it again.

Thank you. Thank you for your support. I’m sure you want to get home and I, I totally understand Dave. No, no, I’m not going anywhere. I’m staying here.

You have to let me go. It’s not gonna happen. I promise. Ray, if I’d look after you until back up. A squad car just pulled up. Police should be here any minute. I have a mission to complete. Michael’s the mission’s over. You failed

Dr. Ralphs handy work. Yeah, I’d bet. Good money on it. Poor guy. Can’t catch a break. First, he’s brainwashed by Megan. Now, lay shin.

I can’t believe my brother did something so crazy when I, uh, when I lost Chanel to my sister, I was so desperate to get her back. I almost did something very underhanded. Did you brainwash a Navy seal to kill Allie? No, of course not. You’re not a criminal heartless bastard with no conscience.

There’s no excuse for the horrible, unforgivable thing my brother did, none at all, and now he’s going have to face the consequences.

What are you doing here? Aren’t you supposed to be at your engagement party? I was there, but it ended early when Harris Michael showed up with a gun. What? Why? To kill Stephan. Oh my God, Gabby, I’m so sorry. Poor Stephan. I Lee. Don’t bury me just yet. Stephan. Thank God you’re okay. Drop the act. You son of a bitch.

I have to go. What? Act please. Chin. You go under arrest for the attempted murder of Stephan Damira.

Sharon: Who’s there?

Nick: It’s nick. Morning.

Sharon: New job, delivery man?

Nick: Oh, yeah, nick’s courier service. On time or we keep it.

***********************

Nick: You know, I always did love that necklace.

Sharon: Well, you gave it to me a million years ago.

Nick: Well, I have excellent taste.

Sharon: You do. You know, you didn’t have to come here and check on me. Which I know is the reason why you’re here. I’m fine. Just like I was last night when we spoke on the phone.

Nick: Well, you did that thing where you politely blow me off because you don’t want me to worry about you, so I figured the best thing I can do is just crash your place and eyeball you and see how you’re doing. So, how are you?

Recap written by Michele and Cheryl

Kate texts Harris to find out what’s going on with Megan. Li had Harris’ phone and texted Kate. He told her that everything was going as scheduled. She wanted to have a drink with him, but he couldn’t make it. Chad and Stephanie showed up. They wanted to check on her before they went to Megan’s party for Gabi and Stefan. Kate was suspicious that Megan would be having an engagement party while she’s on a secret location with Harris. Eric tried to assure Nicole that she would be fine. She was afraid that she was miscarrying again. He tried to comfort her, but she didn’t deserve his kindness. She thought she was being punished for what she did to Jada. Eric told her that God wouldn’t do that to her. He assured her that God cares about and will help her. The doctor examined her and told her that everything was fine. Gwen was getting ready for the party and got into it with Leo. He kept telling her about Dimitri’s motives for proposing. She thought Dimitri was being sincere. She thought Leo was jealous because he’s still single. He was hurt by that, but he thought she might be right. He thought Dimitri was up to something and planned to search the DiMera mansion while everyone was at the party.

Rolf finished the procedure on Harris. He gave Megan a serum to inject into EJ and Kristen. The serum would make them forget about her confession about her plans for Stefan and kidnapping them. Harris woke up so Rolf gave him the instructions he needed for the night. He sent him on his way. Rolf assured Li that everything will go according to the plan. EJ and Kristen yell for help, but no one hears them. Kristen thought Megan was going to kill them. EJ didn’t think she would do that. He thought she would have done it by now. Megan went down to the cellar to inject Kristen and EJ with the serum. Megan left them in the cellar. Leo showed up at the mansion and found EJ and Kristen in the cellar. Their memories started to fade away from them after he arrived in the cellar. Kate tried to call Harris’ phone, but he didn’t answer it. She decided to go to the Bistro to find out what’s going on with him. She was upset when she saw Megan in the town square. She realized that Harris didn’t complete their mission. Everyone gathered for Stefan and Gabi’s engagement party. Megan arrived with a bottle of champagne. She gave a speech about the family when Harris arrived. He pulled out a gun.

PIKE: What the devil are you putting in there, ice?
BOYCE: Who wants a warm martini?
PIKE: What makes you think I need one?
BOYCE: Sometimes a man’ll tell his bartender things he’ll never tell his doctor.

COLT: But you wanted the reports by oh five hundred. It’s oh five hundred now, sir.
PIKE: Oh, I see. Thank you.
NUMBER ONE: She’s replacing your former yeoman, sir.
PIKE: She does a good job, all right. It’s just that I can’t get used to having a woman on the bridge. No offence, Lieutenant. You’re different, of course.

VINA: You’re no better choice. They’d have more luck crossing him with a computer.
NUMBER ONE: Well, shall we do a little time computation? There was a Vina listed on that expedition as an adult crewman. Now, adding eighteen years to your age then…

COLT: Sir, I was wondering. Just curious. Who would have been Eve?
NUMBER ONE: Yeoman! You’ve delivered your report.
COLT: Yes, ma’am. Yes, sir.
TYLER: Eve, sir? Yes, sir.
BOYCE: Eve as in Adam?
PIKE: As in all ship’s doctors are dirty old men. What are we running here, a cadet ship, Number One? Are we ready or not?

“The Man Trap”

KIRK: Shall we pick some flowers, Doctor? When a man visits an old girlfriend she usually expects something like that.
MCCOY: Is that how you get girls to like you, by bribing them?

KIRK: Something wrong, Darnell?
DARNELL: Excuse me sir but, ma’am, if I didn’t know better I would swear you were someone I left behind on Wrigley’s Pleasure Planet. It’s funny, you’re exactly like a girl that
MCCOY: A little less mouth, Darnell.
DARNELL: I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to. I mean, I know it’s impossible, of course.
KIRK: Why don’t you step outside, Darnell.
DARNELL: Yes, sir. Thank you, sir.
KIRK: Maybe I’ll step outside, too.
NANCY: What? And let Plum examine me all alone?
KIRK: Plum?
MCCOY: Plum.
NANCY: A nickname I gave Leonard when we were very young.

MCCOY: I’m pleased you’re doing well but I’m required to confirm that fact.
CRATER: Doubtless the good surgeon will enjoy prodding and poking us with his arcane machinery. Go away, we don’t want you.

KIRK: Quote. All research personnel on alien planets are required to have their health certified by a starship surgeon at one year intervals. Like it or not, Professor, as commander of the starship, I’m required
CRATER: To show your gold braid to everyone. You love it, don’t you.
KIRK: He’s all yours, Plum. Doctor McCoy.

MCCOY: I’m not joking, Jim. She hasn’t aged a day. She doesn’t have a grey hair on her head.
KIRK: She’s got some grey, Bones. Excuse me, Professor, she’s a handsome woman, yes, but hardly twenty five.

MCCOY: Open your mouth.
CRATER: Why, I thought the machine
MCCOY: The machine is capable of almost anything but I’ll still put my trust in a healthy set of tonsils. Now, open your mouth.

SPOCK: Miss Uhura, your last sub-space log contained an error in the frequencies column.
UHURA: Mister Spock, sometimes I think if I hear that word frequency once more, I’ll cry.
SPOCK: Cry?
UHURA: I was just trying to start a conversation.
SPOCK: Well, since it is illogical for a communications officer to resent the word frequency, I have no answer.
UHURA: No, you have an answer. I’m an illogical woman who’s beginning to feel too much a part of that communications console. Why don’t you tell me I’m an attractive young lady, or ask me if I’ve ever been in love? Tell me how your planet Vulcan looks on a lazy evening when the moon is full.
SPOCK: Vulcan has no moon, Miss Uhura.
UHURA: I’m not surprised, Mister Spock.

UHURA: I don’t believe it.
SPOCK: Explain.
UHURA: You explain. That means that somebody is dead and you just sit there. It could be Captain Kirk. He’s the closest thing you have to a friend.
SPOCK: Lieutenant, my demonstration of concern will not change what happened. The transporter room is very well-manned and they will call if they need my assistance.

UHURA: Message, Captain. Starship base on Caran 4 requesting explanation of our delay here, sir. Space Commander Dominguez says we have supplies he urgently needs.
KIRK: Tell Jose he’ll get his chili peppers when we get there. Tell him they’re prime Mexican reds. I handpicked them myself, but he won’t die if he goes a few more days without them. Got it?
UHURA: Got it, Captain.

MCCOY: I thought it was, sir. Another error on my part.
KIRK: I’m not counting them, Bones. Are you in the mood for an apology?
MCCOY: Oh, forget it. I probably was mooning over her. I should have been thinking about my job.

CRATER: And your esteemed physician cannot explain our need for salt tablets?
KIRK: We’re all aware of the need for salt on a hot and arid planet like this, Professor, but it’s a mystery, and I don’t like mysteries. They give me a bellyache and I’ve got a beauty right now.

KIRK: We can’t search this whole planet on foot.
MCCOY: Jim!
KIRK: You could learn something from Mister Spock, Doctor. Stop thinking with your glands. We’ve equipment aboard the Enterprise that could pinpoint a match lit anywhere on this planet, or the heat of a body. Transporter room, Kirk speaking. Three to beam up.

RAND: Why don’t you go chase an asteroid?
REDSHIRT: Hey, Janice, is that for me?
RAND: Don’t you wish it was?
BLUESHIRT: How about that?
REDSHIRT: Yeah, how’d you like to have her as your personal yeoman?

RAND: Where are you, Sulu?
SULU: In here feeding the weepers, Janice.
RAND: I’ve got your tray.
SULU: May the Great Bird of the Galaxy bless your planet.
RAND: Thank you. Hello, Beauregard. How are you today, darling?
SULU: Her name’s Gertrude.
RAND: No, it’s a he plant. A girl can tell.
SULU: Why do people have to call inanimate objects she, like she’s a fast ship.
RAND: He is not an inanimate object. He’s so animate he makes me nervous. In fact, I keep expecting one of these plants of yours to grab me.
SULU: Hello, Green.
RAND: He’s not talking today. You been nipping saurian brandy or something?

UHURA: Crewman, do I know you?
CREWMAN: In a way, ma’am. You were just thinking of someone like me. I’m guessing of course, but you do look a little lonely.
UHURA: I see. So naturally, when I’m lonely I think of you.
CREWMAN: Ina cuvanea mwanamke turee.
UHURA: Una kafeeri Hur. You’re Swahili?

KIRK: What’s the matter, can’t you sleep?
MCCOY: Nope.
KIRK: Try taking one of those red pills you gave me last week. You’ll sleep.

MCCOY: The creature leading you a merry chase, Mister Sulu?
SULU: The creature?
MCCOY: Or whatever it is that’s killing the crewmen. Perhaps I can help. Fill me in.

KIRK: You bleed too much, Crater. You’re too pure and noble. Are you saving the last of its kind or has this become Crater’s private heaven, here on this planet? This thing becomes wife, lover, best friend, wise man, fool, idol, slave. It isn’t a bad life to have everyone in the universe at your beck and call, and you win all the arguments.
CRATER: You don’t understand.

KIRK: Dead. But it had you, too.
SPOCK: Fortunately, my ancestors spawned in another ocean than yours did. My blood cells are quite different.

KIRK: Move aside, Bones.
MCCOY: What’s going on here, Jim?
KIRK: She’s not Nancy, Bones.
MCCOY: Are you insane?

“Charlie X”

KIRK: Yeoman Rand, this is Charles Evans. Show him to his quarters and drop his records off at Doctor McCoy’s office, if you will.
RAND: Yes, sir. Come with me, please.
CHARLIE: Are you a girl? Is that a girl?
KIRK: That’s a girl.

CHARLIE: Some, the other ship, they didn’t like me. I tried. I’m trying to make people like me. I want them to like me.
MCCOY: Most seventeen year olds do.

CHARLIE: You got a deal, friend. (slaps her bottom)
RAND: Charlie!
CHARLIE: I thought. Don’t be angry. I didn’t, I wanted.
RAND: Charlie, you, you, you just don’t go around slapping girls on the… It’s okay, but, er, just don’t do it again.
CHARLIE: Don’t be angry.
RAND: Look, why don’t you tell Captain Kirk or Doctor McCoy what you did. They’ll explain it to you. Okay?

KIRK: Thank you. He’s working out a training programme for Charlie Evans. Earth history, his own background, that sort of thing. I’d like you to give him the necessary medical orientation on the problems of, um, er, adolescence.
MCCOY: Well, don’t you think it’d be better for a strong father image like you? He already looks up to you.
KIRK: The job is yours, Bones. Flattery will get you nowhere.

CHARLIE: Well, in the corridor I saw. When Janice, when Yeoman Rand was… (slaps Kirk’s bottom) I did that to her. She didn’t like it. She said you’d explain it to me.
KIRK: Me. I see. Well, um, er, there are things you can do with a lady, er, Charlie, that you er. There’s no right way to hit a woman. I mean, man to man is one thing, but, er, man and woman, er, it’s, er, it’s, er. Well it’s, er, another thing. Do you understand?
CHARLIE: I don’t know.

CHARLIE: Can I talk to you, alone.
RAND: Charlie, Tina’s–
TINA: Excuse me. I must be wanted somewhere.
RAND: That was, that was rude and completely uncalled-for.

KIRK: Charlie, there are a million things in this universe you can have and there are a million things you can’t have. It’s no fun facing that, but that’s the way things are.
CHARLIE: Then what am I going to do?
KIRK: Hang on tight and survive. Everybody does.

KIRK: Go to your quarters.
CHARLIE: He was going to hurt me.
KIRK: Go to your quarters or I’ll pick you up and carry you there.

CHARLIE: Well, they weren’t nice to me! They wanted to get rid of me. They don’t now.
KIRK: What about us, Charlie?
CHARLIE: I don’t know.
(Charlie leaves)
SPOCK: We’re in the hands of an adolescent.

KIRK: Mister Spock, you getting any readings on your instruments?
SPOCK: Yes, sir. There’s a Tyger, tyger, burning bright in the forest of the night.
KIRK: Mister Spock.
SPOCK: I’m trying to Saturn rings around my head, down a road that’s Martian red.

SPOCK: Once upon a midnight dreary while I pondered, weak and weary.
CHARLIE: Very nice, Mister Ears. Oh, I can make him do anything, whirl around, laugh, anything.
KIRK: That’s enough, Charlie.
CHARLIE: Don’t you think he’s funny? I think he’s funny.

KIRK: Are you creating that message, Charlie, or you’re blocking one that’s coming in.
CHARLIE: It’s my game, Captain. You have to find out. Like you said, that’s how the game’s played.

CHARLIE: I can make you all go away anytime I want to.
KIRK: Get out of my chair, Charlie, and get out of it now.
CHARLIE: I’ve got your ship, Captain.

CHARLIE: I won’t do it again. Please, I’ll be good. I won’t ever do it again. I’m sorry about the Antares. I’m sorry! When I came aboard–! Please, I want to go with you. Help me!
KIRK: The boy belongs with his own kind.

“Where No Man Has Gone Before”

KIRK: Have I ever mentioned you play a very irritating game of chess, Mister Spock?
SPOCK: Irritating? Ah, yes. One of your Earth emotions.
KIRK: Certain you don’t know what irritation is?
SPOCK: The fact one of my ancestors married a human female
KIRK: Terrible having bad blood like that.

DEHNER: lf there was an emergency, I’d be interested in how that crew reacted, too.
MITCHELL: Improving the breed, Doctor? Is that your line?
DEHNER: I heard that’s more your specialty, Commander, line included.
MITCHELL: Walking freezer unit.

KIRK: I’ve been worried about you ever since that night on Deneb IV.
MITCHELL: Yeah, she was nova, that one. Not nearly as many after-effects this time, except for the eyes. They kind of stare back at me when I’m shaving.

MITCHELL: Well, I’m getting a chance to read some of that longhair stuff you like. Hey man, I remember you back at the Academy. A stack of books with legs. The first thing I ever heard from an upperclassman was, watch out for Lieutenant Kirk. In his class, you either think or sink.
KIRK: I wasn’t that bad, was I?
MITCHELL: If I hadn’t aimed that little blonde lab technician at you…
KIRK: You what? You planned that?
MITCHELL: Well, you wanted me to think, didn’t you? I outlined her whole campaign for her.
KIRK: I almost married her!

KIRK: I’m going to ask Doctor Dehner to keep you under observation for a while.
MITCHELL: With almost a hundred women on board, you can do better than that, friend Captain.
KIRK: Consider it a challenge.

MITCHELL: I’ve got nothing against you, Doctor.
DEHNER: Nor against the walking freezer unit?
MITCHELL: Well, I… sorry about that.

SPOCK: Our subject is not Gary Mitchell. Our concern is, rather, what he is mutating into.
DEHNER: I know those from your planet aren’t suppose to have feelings like we do, Mister Spock, but to talk that way about a man you’ve worked next to for years is worse than
KIRK: That’s enough, Doctor.
DEHNER: I don’t think so. I understand you least of all. Gary told me that you’ve been friends since he joined the service, that you asked for him aboard your first command.

SPOCK: We’ll never reach an Earth base with him aboard, Jim. You heard the mathematics of it. In a month he’ll have as much in common with us as we’d have with a ship full of white mice.
KIRK: I need a recommendation, Spock, not vague warnings.
SPOCK: Recommendation one. There’s a planet a few light days away from here. Delta Vega. It has a lithium cracking station. We may be able to adapt some of its power packs to our engines.

SPOCK: It is your only other choice, assuming you make it while you still have time.
KIRK: Will you try for one moment to feel? At least act like you’ve got a heart. We’re talking about Gary.

MITCHELL: My friend James Kirk. remember those rodent things on Dimorus? The poisoned darts they threw? I took one meant for you.
KIRK: And almost died. I remember.
MITCHELL: So why be afraid of me now?
KIRK: You’ve been testing your ability to take over the Enterprise. In the transporter room, you said something about us seeming like insects by comparison, squashing us if we got in your way.

KIRK: Doctor Dehner feels he isn’t that dangerous. What makes you right and a trained psychiatrist wrong?
SPOCK: Because she feels. I don’t. All I know is logic. In my opinion we’ll be lucky if we can repair this ship and get away in time.

MITCHELL: A visitor. A very foolish man. You’ll enjoy being a god, Elizabeth. Blasphemy? No. Let there be food. Kaferian apples. Whenever we visited that planet, I always favoured these. Can you hear me, James? You cannot see me. I’m not there. You follow the right path, James. You’ll come to me soon.
DEHNER: I can see him in my mind, too.

KIRK: Did you hear him joke about compassion? Above all else, a god needs compassion. Mitchell! Elizabeth.
DEHNER: What do you know about gods?
KIRK: Then let’s talk about humans, about our frailties. As powerful as he gets, he’ll have all that inside him.

SPOCK: I felt for him, too.
KIRK: I believe there’s some hope for you after all, Mister Spock.

“The Naked Time”

MCCOY: You’re fine, Joe. Up and out of there. Mister Spock? Your pulse is two hundred and forty two, your blood pressure is practically nonexistent, assuming you call that green stuff in your veins blood.
SPOCK: The readings are perfectly normal for me, Doctor, thank you, and as for my anatomy being different from yours, I am delighted. Captain.

SULU: Foil. It’s a rapier. A thin sword.
RILEY: All right. So what do you do with it?
SULU: What do you mean, what do you do with it?
RILEY: Self-defence? Mayhem? Shish kebab?
SULU: You practice.
RILEY: For what?
SULU: Hi, Joey.
RILEY: Last week it was botany he was trying to get me interested in. I was supposed to be collecting leaves, plant specimens.
SULU: Your attitude is all wrong. Fencing tones the muscle, sharpens the eye, improves the posture. You tell him, Joey. Explain to him. Hey, Joey. You feeling all right?
TORMOLEN: Get off me! You don’t rank me and you don’t have pointed ears, so just get off my neck!

SULU: Don’t know if it’s this planet or what happened with Joe. I’m sweating like a bridegroom.
RILEY: Yeah, me too.
SULU: Hey, why don’t you come down to the gym with me, Kevin m’lad?
RILEY: Now?
SULU: Why not? Light workout will take the edge off.
RILEY: Sulu, what about. Hey, Sulu, don’t be a fool!

SPOCK: You haven’t answered my question. Where is Mister Sulu?
RILEY: Have no fear, O’Riley’s here. One Irishman is worth ten thousand of you
SPOCK: You’re relieved, Mister Riley. Lieutenant Uhura, take over this station.
UHURA: Yes, sir.
RILEY: Now that’s what I like. Let the women work too. Universal suffrage.
SPOCK: Report to Sickbay, Mister Riley.
RILEY: Sickbay? Exactly where I was heading, sir.

RILEY: You know something? You have such lovely eyes, pretty lady. (touches her face)
CHAPEL: I know he was a friend of yours. This must be a terrible shock.
RILEY: You know what Joe’s mistake was? He wasn’t born an Irishman.

UHURA: Sir, level two, corridor three reports a disturbance. Mister Sulu chasing crewmen with a sword.

KIRK: Mister Scott, acknowledge. Our controls are dead. Take her.
SULU: Richelieu, at last.
KIRK: Sulu, put that (discovers that the point is sharp) put that thing away.
SULU: For honour, Queen, and France! (lunges)
UHURA: Sulu.
SULU: Ah.
UHURA: Sulu, give me that.
SULU: I’ll protect you, fair maiden.
UHURA: Sorry, neither.
SULU: Foul Richelieu. (distracted by Uhura’s escape, Kirk is able to grab Sulu and Spock does a neck-pinch)
KIRK: I’d like you to teach me that sometime.
SPOCK: Take D’Artagnon here to Sickbay.

RILEY: You rang, sir?
KIRK: Who’s this?
RILEY: This is Captain Kevin Thomas Riley of the starship Enterprise. And who is this?
KIRK: This is Captain Kirk. Get out of the engine room, navigator. Where’s Mister Scott?
RILEY: I’ve relieved Mister Scott of his duties. Now, attention, cooks. This is your captain speaking. I would like double portions of ice cream for the entire crew.
KIRK: Clear that tube, will you?
UHURA: Yes, sir.
RILEY: And now, your captain will render an ancient Irish favourite. (sings) I’ll take you home again Kathleen
SPOCK: Captain. At our present rate of descent, we have less than twenty minutes before we enter planet atmosphere.
KIRK: And burn up. I know, Mister Spock.
RILEY: Wild and wide to where your heart…

RILEY: Lieutenant Uhura and you interrupted my song. I’m sorry, but there’ll be no ice cream for you tonight.
KIRK: Cut him off.
UHURA: I can’t, sir. There’s no way to do it.
RILEY: Attention, crew. This is Captain Riley. There will be a formal dance in the bowling alley at nineteen hundred hours tonight.

RILEY: This is Captain Riley. Crew, I have some additional orders. In the future, all female crew members will wear their hair loosely, about their shoulders. And use restraint in putting on your makeup. Women, women should not look made up. And now, crew, I will render Kathleen one more time!
KIRK: Please, not again.
RILEY: (singing) I’ll take you home again, Kathleen (meanwhile, Scott is working in a Jefferies tube) I’ve watched them fade away and die.
SCOTT: I’ve set the jumpers up there. Stand by ’til I give you a signal.
RILEY: And tears bedim your loving eyes. Oh, I will take you home Kathleen.

RAND: I would have gotten here sooner, sir but Crewman Moody stopped me in the hallway.
KIRK: Take the helm.
RAND: Sir?
KIRK: Take the helm!
RAND: Yes, sir.
RILEY: Kathleen. And now, crew, one more time!
KIRK: At least try cutting him off!
UHURA: Sir, if I could cut him off, don’t you think I–
RILEY: I’ll take you home again Kathleen
UHURA: Yes, sir. I’ll keep trying.
KIRK: Sorry.
RILEY: Across the ocean wild and wide…

KIRK: Where have you been? What happened?
SPOCK: My mother. I could never tell her I loved her.
KIRK: We’ve got four minutes, maybe five.
SPOCK: An Earth woman, living on a planet where love, emotion, is bad taste.
KIRK: We’ve got to risk a full-power start. The engines were shut off. No time to regenerate them. Do you hear me? We’ve got to risk a full-power start!
SPOCK: I respected my father, our customs. I was ashamed of my Earth blood. (Kirk slaps him) Jim, when I feel friendship for you, I’m ashamed.
KIRK: (hitting him repeatedly) You’ve got to hear me! We need a formula. We’ve got to risk implosion!
SPOCK: t’s never been done! Understand, Jim. I’ve spent a whole lifetime learning to hide my feelings. (finally hits Kirk back)
KIRK: We’ve got to risk implosion. It’s our only chance.
SPOCK: It’s never been done.

KIRK: I’ve got it, the disease. Love. You’re better off without it, and I’m better off without mine. This vessel, I give, she takes. She won’t permit me my life. I’ve got to live hers.
SPOCK: Jim.
KIRK: I have a beautiful yeoman. Have you noticed her, Mister Spock? You’re allowed to notice her. The Captain’s not permitted
SPOCK: Jim, there is an intermix formula.
KIRK: Now I know why it’s called she…
SPOCK: It’s never been tested. It’s a theoretical relationship between time and antimatter.
KIRK: Flesh woman to touch, to hold. A beach to walk on. A few days, no braid on my shoulder.
SCOTT: Captain.
KIRK: Scotty, help.

KIRK: The time warp. What did it do to us?
SPOCK: We’ve regressed in time seventy one hours. It is now three days ago, Captain. We have three days to live over again.
KIRK: Not those last three days.

“The Enemy Within”

KIRK: Yeah. At night it gets down to a hundred and twenty degrees below zero.
SULU: That’s nippy.

SCOTT: It might profit you to let Doctor McCoy give you the once-over.
KIRK: All right, Engineer, I’ll have my engines looked to.

MCCOY: You picked a good day, Fisher. Business has been lousy. What’d you do, take a fall on purpose so you could get a little vacation?
KIRK: Saurian brandy.
MCCOY: Back to duty status, Fisher. I have no sympathy for clumsiness.

SPOCK: Well, Doctor McCoy seemed to think I should check on you.
KIRK: That’s nice. Come on, Spock, I know that look. What is it?
SPOCK: Well, our good doctor said that you were acting like a wild man, demanded brandy.
KIRK: Our good doctor’s been putting you on again.
SPOCK: Hmm. Well, in that case, if you’ll excuse the intrusion Captain, I’ll get back to my work.
KIRK: I’ll tell him you were properly annoyed.

RAND: Oh! Captain, you startled me. Is there something that you? Can I help you, Captain?
KIRK: Jim will do here, Janice.
RAND: Oh.
KIRK: You’re too beautiful to ignore. Too much woman. We’ve both been pretending too long. (grabs her) Stop pretending. Let’s stop pretending. Come here, Janice. Don’t fight me. Don’t fight me, Janice. (kisses her)
RAND: Captain!
KIRK: Just a minute, Janice. Just a minute!

KIRK: How’s it going down there, Mister Sulu?
SULU: It’s already twenty degrees below zero. Can’t exactly call it balmy.

SPOCK: If your power of command continues to weaken, you’ll soon be unable to function as Captain. You must be prepared for that.
MCCOY: You have your intellect, Jim. You can fight with that!
KIRK: For how long?
SPOCK: If I seem insensitive to what you’re going through, Captain, understand it’s the way I am.

KIRK: We’ve located the trouble. It shouldn’t be much longer.
SULU: Do you think you might be able to find a long rope somewhere and lower us down a pot of hot coffee?
KIRK: I’ll see what we can do.
SULU: Rice wine will do, if you’re short on coffee.

SULU: (using phaser to heat rocks) I think we ought to give room service another call. That coffee’s taking too long. Enterprise, this is Sulu.
KIRK: Kirk here, Mister Sulu.
SULU: Hot line direct to the Captain. Are we that far gone?
KIRK: I gave everybody the afternoon off. I’m watching the store. How is it down there?
SULU: Oh, lovely, except that the frost is building up. We’re using hand phasers to heat the rocks. One phaser quit on us, three still operating. Any possibility of getting us back aboard before the skiing season opens down here?
SPOCK: This is Spock, Mister Sulu. You’ll have to hold on a little longer. There’s no other way. Survival procedures, Mister Sulu.
SULU: Per your training program, Mister Spock.

KIRK: I have to take him back inside myself. I can’t survive without him. I don’t want him back. He’s like an animal, a thoughtless, brutal animal, and yet it’s me. Me.
MCCOY: Jim, you’re no different than anyone else. We all have our darker side. We need it! It’s half of what we are. It’s not really ugly, it’s human.
KIRK: Human.
MCCOY: Yes, human. A lot of what he is makes you the man you are. God forbid I should have to agree with Spock, but he was right. Without the negative side, you wouldn’t be the Captain. You couldn’t be, and you know it. Your strength of command lies mostly in him.
KIRK: What do I have?
MCCOY: You have the goodness.
KIRK: Not enough. I have a ship to command.
MCCOY: The intelligence, the logic. It appears your half has most of that, and perhaps that’s where man’s essential courage comes from. For you see, he was afraid and you weren’t.

SPOCK: The shock of putting him back together seems to have been too much for him.
MCCOY: He’s dead, Jim.

RAND: Captain? The impostor told me what happened, who he really was, and I’d just like to say that. Well, sir, what I’d like is..
KIRK: Thank you, Yeoman.
SPOCK: The, er, impostor had some interesting qualities, wouldn’t you say, Yeoman?

“Mudd’s Women”

MUDD: Meaning no ingratitude, gentlemen, but just where is it I find meself?
MCCOY: You’re aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise.
MUDD: It’s really a darn beautiful ship, isn’t it? Really a beautiful ship. Oh, the name, gentlemen, is Walsh, Captain Leo Walsh.

KIRK: If that captain can walk, I want him in my cabin immediately. Correction, I want him there whether he can walk or not. Kirk out.
MUDD: That fellow sounded a mite upset, didn’t he?
MCCOY: Yes. Yes, they are.
SPOCK: Curious.

MUDD: Ah, sure, these starships are really something marvellous, but men will always be men no matter where they are. Eh, mister? You’ll never take that out of them.
SPOCK: Deck twelve.
MUDD: You’re part Vulcanian, aren’t you. Ah well then, a pretty face doesn’t affect you at all, does it. That is, unless you want it to. You can save it, girls. This type can turn himself off from any emotion.
EVE: I apologise for what he said, sir. He’s used to buying and selling people.
MUDD: I’ll handle the conversation, darling.

MUDD: You’re a hard-nosed one, Captain.
KIRK: And you’re a liar, Mister Walsh. I think we both understand each other.

SULU: You’re on duty, Johnny-o. Back to reality.
FARRELL: You can feel their eyes when they look at you, like something grabbing hold of you. Did you notice that?
SULU: I noticed. How I noticed. Come on, Johnny.

SPOCK: State your name for the record.
MUDD: Leo Francis Walsh.
COMPUTER: Incorrect.
SPOCK: Your correct name.
MUDD: Gentlemen, surely you’re not going to take the word of a soulless mechanical device over that of a real flesh and blood man.
SPOCK: State your correct name for the record.
MUDD: Harry Mudd.
COMPUTER: Incorrect.
MUDD: Harcourt Fenton Mudd.
SPOCK: Any past offenses, Mister Mudd?
MUDD: Of course not. Gentlemen, I’m simply an honest businessman.
COMPUTER: Incorrect.
MUDD: Blast that tin-plated pot.

KIRK: Destination and purpose of journey?
MUDD: Planet Ophiuchus 3. Wiving settlers.
KIRK: Come again, Mister Mudd. You do what?
MUDD: I recruit wives for settlers, a difficult but satisfying task.

MUDD: Oh, you beautiful galaxy! Oh, that heavenly universe! Well, girls, lithium miners. Don’t you understand? Lonely, isolated, overworked, rich lithium miners! Girls, do you still want husbands, hmm? Evie, you won’t be satisfied with a mere ship’s captain. I’ll get you a man who can buy you a whole planet. Maggie, you’re going to be a countess. Ruth, I’ll make you a duchess. And I, I’ll be running this starship. Captain James Kirk, the next orders you’re taking will be given by Harcourt Fenton Mudd!

KIRK: Well, come on, you’re the doctor. What is it? Is it that we’re tired, and they’re beautiful? They are incredibly beautiful.
MCCOY: Are they, Jim? Are they actually more lovely, pound for pound, measurement for measurement, than any other women you’ve known? Or is it that they just, well, act beautiful. No. Strike that, strike that.
KIRK: What are they?
MCCOY: You mean are they alien illusions? That sort of thing?
KIRK: I asked you first.
MCCOY: No, an alien smart enough to pull this could also keep my medical scanner from going beep!
KIRK: I don’t follow you.
MCCOY: I don’t either.

KIRK: Have Mudd meet me in the transporter room.
SPOCK: Mudd?
KIRK: The name of this game.

EVE: I ate some of your food, so I paid with some chores.
CHILDRESS: And I do my own cooking. I’ve not laid a hand on you. Remember that.
EVE: Oh, the sound of male ego. You travel halfway across the galaxy, and it’s still the same song. There. You going to eat or talk?
CHILDRESS: I guess I’m supposed to sit, taste, and roll my eyes. Ooh, female cooking again. I’ve tasted better, by my own hand.
EVE: Well you’re tasting some of it now. I couldn’t scrape three layers of your leavings out of that pan.

MUDD: Don’t you think you could possibly, by accident, arrange to leave me behind here? On this planet that would be punishment enough.
KIRK: I can’t do that, Harry, but I will appear as a character witness at your trial. If you think that’ll help.
MUDD: They’ll throw away the key.

MCCOY: That must have been quite a talk you made down there. Ever try considering the patent medicine business?
KIRK: Why should I work your side of the street?
SPOCK: I’m happy the affair is over. A most annoying emotional episode.
MCCOY: Smack right in the old heart. Oh, I’m sorry. In your case, it would be about here.
SPOCK: The fact that my internal arrangement differs from yours, Doctor, pleases me no end.

“What Are Little Girls Made Of?”

SPOCK: That’s an unusual request.
KIRK: The man making it is Doctor Roger Korby.
SPOCK: You’re certain you recognise his voice?
CHAPEL: Have you ever been engaged, Mister Spock? Yes, it’s Roger.

CHAPEL: Brownie, what is it?
BROWN: Explain.
CHAPEL: Don’t you recognise me?
BROWN: Christine. You look well. My name is Brown, Doctor Korby’s assistant. I presume you are Captain Kirk. He’s dead, I assure you. Come, Doctor Korby will be waiting.
KIRK: You do know him well? An old friend?
CHAPEL: I suppose living here for five years…

ANDREA: I do not understand. Why are you unhappy? You are with Roger again.
CHAPEL: Where is Captain Kirk?
ANDREA: You are concerned about the captain?
CHAPEL: Yes, I am concerned.
ANDREA: How can you love Roger without trusting him? Why does it bother you when I use the name Roger?
KORBY: Andrea, it’s sufficient that it does disturb her. You will call me Doctor Korby from now on, Andrea.
ANDREA: Yes, Doctor Korby.

CHAPEL: Yes, let’s start with Andrea.
ANDREA: I’m like Doctor Brown, an android. Didn’t you know?
KORBY: Remarkable, isn’t she? Notice the the lifelike pigmentation, the variation in skin tones. The flesh, the flesh has warmth. There’s even a pulse, physical sensation.
CHAPEL: How convenient.
KORBY: Christine, you must realise an android’s like a computer. It does only what I programme. As a trained scientist yourself, you must realise that
CHAPEL: Given a mechanical Doctor Brown, a mechanical geisha would be no more difficult.
KORBY: You think I could love a machine?
CHAPEL: Did you?
KORBY: Andrea’s incapable of that. She simply obeys orders. She has no meaning for me. There’s no emotional bond. Andrea, kiss Captain Kirk. Now strike him. You see? There’s no emotion in it, no emotional involvement. She simply responds to orders. She’s a totally logical computer. A thing is not a woman. Now do you understand?
KIRK: If these mechanical things have no feelings and perform only as you programme them, then why did Brown try to shoot me? Why did he kill two of my men? There are many things I don’t understand, Doctor.
KORBY: I will answer all of your questions now.

KORBY: Synthetic organs are in place. We merely synchronise them with Kirk’s autonomic nervous system, duplicating the rhythms of his body. At the same time, we duplicate the mental pattern. Now, physical pattern complete, we now make a mental pattern. Ready for final synaptic fusion. Andrea, stand by for cortex circuits. The android will be so perfect It could even replace the captain. The same memories, the same attitudes, the same abilities. Activate circuits.
KIRK: Mind your own business, Mister Spock. I’m sick of your half-breed interference, do you hear? Mind your own business, Mister Spock. I’m sick of your half-breed (passes out, the other one wakes up)

KORBY: Totally unimportant ones. You may leave now. (Kirk2 leaves) You haven’t guessed the rest? Not even you, Christine? What you saw was only a machine, Only half of what I could’ve accomplished, Do you understand? By continuing the process I could’ve transferred you, your very consciousness into that android. Your soul, if you wish. All of you. In android form, a human being can have practical immortality. Can you understand what I’m offering mankind?
KIRK: Programming. Different word, but the same old promises made by Genghis Khan, Julius Caesar, Hitler, Ferris, Maltuvis.
KORBY: Can you understand that a human converted to an android can be programmed for the better? Can you imagine how life could be improved if we could do away with jealousy, greed, hate?
KIRK: It can also be improved by eliminating love, tenderness, sentiment. The other side of the coin, Doctor.
KORBY: No one need ever die again. No disease, no deformities. why even fear can be programmed away, replaced with joy. I’m offering you a pracical heaven, a new paradise, and all I need is your help.

SPOCK: Captain, We finished ahead of schedule.
KIRK2: Doctor Korby has considerable cargo to beam aboard. I’ll have to go over our destination schedule with him.
SPOCK: You’re going back down with the command pack?
KIRK2: Mind your own business, Mister Spock. I’m sick of your half-breed interference, do you hear?
SPOCK: Yes. very well, Captain.
KIRK2: You look upset, Mister Spock. Is everything all right up here?
SPOCK: No problems here, sir.

KIRK: Something bothering you, Mister Spock?
SPOCK: Frankly, I was rather dismayed by your use of the term half-breed, Captain. You must admit it is an unsophisticated expression.
KIRK: I’ll remember that Mister Spock, the next time I find myself in a similar situation. Steady as we go, helm.

“Miri”

MIRI: You got a foolie, is that it, and you want me to play, but I can’t. I don’t know the rules. I’ve got to know the rules.
MCCOY: Foolie?
MIRI: A game, you know. You can’t play a game without rules. Even Grups ought to know that.
KIRK: What are Grups?
MIRI: You are. They will, when Onlies get old.
RAND: Grownups.

KIRK: There must be records somewhere and answers to some of our questions. Miri, do you know any buildings where the doctors used to work?
MIRI: Yes, I know that. Them and their pills and things.
KIRK: Will you take me there?
MIRI: That’s a bad place.
KIRK: It’s important. Please.
MIRI: All right. Do you have a name, too?
KIRK: Yes. It’s Jim.
MIRI: I like that name.
KIRK: Good. I like yours, too. I like you.
MIRI: Do you really?
KIRK: I wouldn’t lie to you.
MIRI: I wouldn’t lie to you, either, Jim. I remember the Grups, but you’re nice. You’re different.
KIRK: Why, thank you.

KIRK: Bones, why do you think the symptoms haven’t appeared in Mister Spock?
MCCOY: I don’t know. Probably the little bugs or whatever they are have no appetite for green blood.
SPOCK: Being a red-blooded human obviously has its disadvantages.

SPOCK: Progress report, genetics section, Life Prolongation Project.
RAND: So that’s what it was.
MCCOY: Life prolongation. Didn’t have much luck, did they?

RAND: One thing, Captain. If she were a wild animal ever since she’s been a little girl, how do you explain that she wants to stay with us?
KIRK: Loneliness? I don’t know, curiosity? I think children have an instinctive need for adults. They want to be told right and wrong.
SPOCK: There may be other emotions at work in this case, Captain.
MCCOY: She likes you, Jim.
SPOCK: She’s becoming a woman.

KIRK: I’m going to try. Miri? Come here. You want to go someplace with me?
MIRI: Sure.
RAND: That little girl…
SPOCK: Is at least three hundred years older than you are, Yeoman. Think about it.

MCCOY: What about us?
SPOCK: The older the victim, the more rapid the progress of the disease.
KIRK: And you? The disease doesn’t seem to be interested in you.
SPOCK: I am a carrier. Whatever happens, I can’t go back to the ship, and I do want to go back to the ship, Captain.

JAHN: That would be some foolie, Miri, but do you think it would work?
MIRI: I know. I know. Don’t you think I’ve heard them talk? They have such little time to do this dumb thing of theirs, this buttinsky thing. If we get her away. that Yeoman, that’s one person less to start off with.
MASKED BOY: But how, Miri? If they’re so busy, if they’re going to have the big emergency, how are you going to get her away?
MIRI: It’s easy. She’s always asking me about the youngest little Onlies, little ones. What if they get sick, who takes care of them? Do they have enough to eat? Where do they sleep? I’ll just tell her one of you fell down and got hurt.
RED HEAD BOY: Me. Say it’s me.
MIRI: All right, you.
JAHN: But Grups, they know things and all that. You know, I bet they’ll be able to do it with one person less.
MIRI: Not one, two. Because he’ll try to find her.
RED HEAD BOY: Who? Who will, Miri?
MIRI: The Captain. He’ll try to find her, but he won’t. Mister Lovey-dovey.
RED HEAD BOY: Lovey-dovey. Bonk bonk on the head. Bonk bonk! bonk bonk!
CHILDREN: Bonk bonk! Bonk bonk!

RED HEAD BOY: Blah, blah, blah!
JAHN: No, you got the wrong game. A teacher, I told you. Now, what does a teacher say, huh?
RED HEAD BOY: Yeah. Study, study, study, or bonk bonk, bad kid. (children all applaud)
RAND: It’s not funny.
JAHN: It’s a foolie.

JAHN: You listen, Miri.
MIRI: I did. Why do you think I brought him here? Tell them, Jim.
JAHN: Tell’em, Jim. Tell’em, Jim.
CHILDREN: Tell’em, Jim! Tell’em, Jim! Tell’em, Jim! Tell’em, Jim!
KIRK: Listen to me. Listen to me!
JAHN: No yelling in the classroom! Look at him, a very bad citizen.
KIRK: This isn’t a game. It never was a game.
BLONDE GIRL: Call the police!
RED HEAD BOY: I’m the police. Bonk bonk unless you’re good.
JAHN: You’re the teacher.
RED HEAD BOY: I got two jobs. Bonk bonk!
CHILDREN: Blah blah blah! Blah blah blah! Blah blah blah! Blah blah blah!

CHILDREN: (approaching menacingly) Nyah na nyah, nyah na nyah, nyah na nyah, nyah na nyah.
KIRK: You’ve seen your friends change one by one as they grew up. Did you ever see one of them not change? One by one, they got the disease, and they became like, Iike those creatures you’re afraid of, like Louise. One by one they changed and got the disease. The disease like I’ve got, like Miri has. You understand what I’m talking about. You’re not babies. We can help you!
RED HEAD BOY: Naughty Grup. (starts hitting Kirk) Bonk bonk! Bonk bonk!
MIRI: No, please. No! (the other children join in as the little blonde girl watches, smiling)
KIRK: (bleeding) It’s waiting for you. It may only be a matter of months.
MIRI: Listen to him. He’s telling the truth.
JAHN: He’s funny. He thinks he’s funny.
RED HEAD BOY: Bonk bonk! Get him!
KIRK: Look at my arms! That’s what’s going to happen to you unless you let me help you.
RED HEAD BOY: Bonk bonk! Hit him!
KIRK: And the little ones. What’s going to happen to them after you’ve gone, after you’ve turned into creatures like Louise? Oh, they’ll still be here, but not for long, because the food’s all gone. You’ve eaten it. Maybe six months left, that’s all, and then nothing left to eat, nobody left to take care of them. They’ll die, too.
MIRI: Look at my arm, Jahn. It’s happening to me. He’s telling the truth.
JAHN: They’re Grups!
CHILDREN: Bonk bonk! Bonk bonk! Bonk bonk! Bonk bonk!
KIRK: All right, you want a foolie? All right. I dare you, I double-dare you. Look at the blood on my face. Now look at your hands. Blood on your hands. Now who’s doing the hurting? Not the Grups, it’s you hurting, yelling, maybe killing, just like the Grups you remember and creatures you’re afraid of. You’re acting like them, and you’re going to be just like them unless you let me help you. I’m a Grup, and I want to help you. I’m begging you, let me help you or there won’t be anything left at all. Please.

IRK: Look at his face.
SPOCK: The blemishes are fading. They’re fading. Who will understand the medical mind?

RAND: Miri. She really loved you, you know.
KIRK: Yes. I never get involved with older women, Yeoman.

“Dagger Of The Mind”

KIRK: I would like to have met Doctor Adams. Have you ever been to a penal colony since they started following his theories?
MCCOY: A cage is a cage, Jim.
KIRK: You’re behind the times, Bones. They’re more like resort colonies now.

SPOCK: Interesting. Your Earth people glorify organised violence for forty centuries, but you imprison those who employ it privately.
MCCOY: And, of course, your people found an answer.
SPOCK: We disposed of emotion, Doctor. Where there is no emotion there is no motive for violence.

NOEL: Doctor Helen Noel, Captain. We’ve met. Don’t you remember the science lab Christmas party?
KIRK: Yes, I remember.
NOEL: You dropped in
KIRK: Yes, yes, I remember.
SPOCK: Problem, Captain?
KIRK: Mister Spock, you tell McCoy that she had better check out as the best assistant I ever had. Energize.

NOEL: Perhaps it would be simpler if you called me Helen, Captain, since–
KIRK: This is another time, another place, and another situation.
NOEL: Of course, Captain.

SPOCK: When do you plan to beam back up, Captain?
KIRK: I think we’ll spend the night here, Mister Spock.
GELDER: No! No, no, no.

KIRK: I’d like to see that treatment room again. You say you’re somewhat familiar with the theory behind it?
NOEL: Yes, somewhat, but if you’d simply state any doubts you have to Doctor Adams
KIRK: And if he’s lying, he’ll continue to lie, and I won’t find out a thing. The only way I can be sure is to see that machine at work, or is that too impractical and unscientific of me, Doctor? Well?
NOEL: Coming.

KIRK: Nothing happened.
NOEL: Something happened. Your face went completely blank.
KIRK: Try a harmless suggestion.
NOEL: You’re hungry.
KIRK: You know, when we finally get through this I’d like to locate and raid a kitchen somewhere.
NOEL: I put that suggestion in your mind, Captain. I said simply that you were hungry.
KIRK: Remarkably effective for a device that Doctor Adams was going to abandon.

“The Corbomite Maneuver”

SPOCK: Ahead slow. Steer a course around it, Mister Sulu.
BAILEY: It’s blocking the way!
SPOCK: Quite unnecessary to raise your voice, Mister Bailey.

KIRK: I’ll be right up. You could see the alarm lights flashing from there, McCoy. Why didn’t you tell me?
MCCOY: Finally finished a physical on you, didn’t I. (Kirk leaves) What am I, a doctor or a moon shuttle conductor? If I jumped every time a light came on around here, I’d end up talking to myself.

SPOCK: All decks have reported green, Mister Bailey.
BAILEY: Yes, sir.
SPOCK: And when the Captain arrives he will expect a full report on–
BAILEY: The cube’s range and position. I’ll have it by then. Raising my voice back there doesn’t mean I was scared or couldn’t do my job. It means I happen to have a human thing called an adrenaline gland.
SPOCK: It does sound most inconvenient, however. Have you considered having it removed?
BAILEY: Very funny.
SULU: You try to cross brains with Spock, he’ll cut you to pieces every time.

KIRK: Scotty.
SCOTT: Motive power? Beats me what makes it go.
KIRK: I’ll buy speculation.
SCOTT: I’d sell it if I had any. That’s a solid cube. How something like that can sense us coming, block us, move when we move, well it beats me. That’s my report.

BAILEY: Sir, we going to just let it hold us here? We’ve got phaser weapons. I vote we blast it.
KIRK: I’ll keep that in mind, Mister Bailey, when this becomes a democracy.

KIRK: Anything further, gentlemen?
SPOCK: I believe it adds up to either one of two possibilities. First, a space buoy of some kind.
KIRK: Second?
SPOCK: Flypaper.
KIRK: And you don’t recommend sticking around.

KIRK: It’s time for action, gentlemen. Mister Bailey–
BAILEY: Bridge to Phaser Gun Crew
KIRK: Countermand. I’ll select what kind of action.
BAILEY: I’m sorry, sir. I thought you meant…
KIRK: Are you explaining, Mister Bailey? I haven’t requested an explanation. Now, as I was about to say, Navigator, plot us a spiral course away from the cube.

KIRK: Care to speculate on what we’ll find if we go on ahead?
SPOCK: Speculate? No. Logically, we’ll discover the intelligence which sent out the cube.
KIRK: Intelligence different from ours or superior?
SPOCK: Probably both, and if you’re asking the logical decision to make
KIRK: No, I’m not. The mission of the Enterprise is to seek out and contact alien life.
SPOCK: Has it occurred to you that there’s a certain inefficiency in constantly questioning me on things you’ve already made up your mind about?
KIRK: It gives me emotional security. Navigator, set a course ahead.

RAND: Excuse me, sir. It’s past time you had something to eat, sir.
KIRK: What the devil is this? Green leaves?
RAND: It’s dietary salad, sir. Doctor McCoy ordered your diet card changed. I thought you knew.
MCCOY: Your weight was up a couple of pounds, remember?

KIRK: When I find the headquarters genius that assigned me a female yeoman
MCCOY: What’s the matter, Jim. Don’t you trust yourself?
KIRK: I’ve already got a female to worry about. Her name’s the Enterprise.

BAILEY: We’ve only got eight minutes left.
SULU: Seven minutes and forty five seconds.
BAILEY: He’s doing a countdown!
MCCOY: Practically end of watch.
BAILEY: What, are you all out of your minds? End of watch? It’s the end of everything. What are you, robots? Wound-up toy soldiers? Don’t you know when you’re dying? Watch and regulations and orders What do they mean?
KIRK: Bailey, you’re relieved! Escort him to his quarters, Doctor.

SPOCK: I regret not having learned more about this Balok. In some manner he was reminiscent of my father.
SCOTT: Then may heaven have helped your mother.
SPOCK: Quite the contrary. She considered herself a very fortunate Earth woman.
KIRK: Doc. Sorry.
MCCOY: For having other things on your mind? My fault. I don’t how the devil you keep from punching me in the face.

KIRK: Ready, Doctor?
MCCOY: No, but you won’t let that stop you.

“Menagerie, Part One”

KIRK: How long will he live?
MCCOY: As long as any of us. Blast medicine anyway. We’ve learned to tie into every human organ in the body except one. The brain. The brain is what life is all about. Now, that man can think any thought that we can, and love, hope, dream as much as we can, but he can’t reach out, and no one can reach in.

MCCOY: What’s going on around here? Who said Jim needed a medical rest leave? And this call about me being needed aboard the ship. I’ve checked everywhere.
SPOCK: And no one from the ship made such a call.
MCCOY: That’s right.
SPOCK: Doctor, I regret they elected to keep certain things from you.

KIRK: Blast you any way. You had no right to come along.
MENDEZ: RHIP, Captain. Rank hath its privileges.

MCCOY: Mister Spock is, er, under arrest. Is confinement to quarters enough?
SPOCK: Adequate, Doctor. I’ll make no trouble.
MCCOY: Well, confine him.

SPOCK: Sir, I must point out that there are three officers of command rank available. Yourself, Commodore Mendez, and Captain Christopher Pike.
KIRK: Denied. Captain Pike is a complete invalid.
SPOCK: I believe you’ll find he’s still on the active duty list.
MENDEZ: We didn’t have the heart to retire him, Jim. He’s got you. Whatever he’s up to, he’s planned it well.

KIRK: Do you know what you’re doing? Have you lost your mind?
SPOCK: Captain, Jim, please don’t stop me. Don’t let him stop me. It’s your career and Captain Pike’s life. You must see the rest of the transmission.
KIRK: Lock him up.

“The Menagerie, part 2”

SPOCK: Thank you, sir, for both of us. (flash)
KIRK: Er, Mister Spock, when you’re finished, please come back and see me. I want to talk to you. This regrettable tendency you’ve been showing lately towards flagrant emotionalism
SPOCK: I see no reason to insult me, sir. I believe I’ve been completely logical about the whole affair.

“The Conscience of the King”

LENORE: So. Captain of the Enterprise. Interesting.
KIRK: So, Lady Macbeth. Interesting.

SPOCK: How did you know this lady was coming aboard?
KIRK: I’m the Captain.

KIRK: You make it sound very interesting. The crew has been on patrol for a long time. They could use a break in the monotony.
LENORE: Then you’ll do it?
KIRK: You’ve got me backed into a corner. The men would never forgive me if I deprived them of your performance, and your presence.

SPOCK: Benecia Colony is eight light years off our course.
KIRK: If my memory needs refreshing, Mister Spock, I’ll ask you for it. In the meantime, follow my orders.

MCCOY: Mister Spock, the man on top walks a lonely street. The chain of command is often a noose.
SPOCK: Spare me your philosophical metaphors, Doctor. The Captain is acting strangely. I’m asking if you’ve noticed.
MCCOY: Negative. Did you know this is the first time in a week I’ve had time for a drop of the true? Would you care for a drink, Mister Spock?
SPOCK: My father’s race was spared the dubious benefits of alcohol.
MCCOY: Now I know why they were conquered. What are you so worried about, anyway? I find Jim generally knows what he’s doing.
KIRK: It was illogical for him to bring those players aboard.
MCCOY: Illogical? Did you get a look at that Juliet? That’s a pretty exciting creature. Of course your, personal chemistry would prevent you from seeing that. Did it ever occur to you that he simply might like the girl?
SPOCK: It occurred. I dismissed it.
MCCOY: You would.

KIRK: What would you like to know?
LENORE: Has the machine changed them? Made them just people instead of women?
KIRK: Worlds may change, galaxies disintegrate, but a woman always remains a woman.

RILEY: Talk to me.
MATSON: Larry Matson here. Is that you, Riley?
MATSON: What’s up?
RILEY: Not me. I am down. In the engineering room.
MATSON: You’ve been a bad boy.
RILEY: Maybe so. Whatever I’ve done, they’re sure keeping it a secret from me. Hey. Is that Uhura playing? Let me talk to her.
MATSON: I think his heart is sore.
UHURA: What can I do for you, Riley?
RILEY: A song. Make it a love song. Just something to reassure me I’m not the only living thing left in the universe, huh?

SPOCK: Someone tried to kill him.
MCCOY: Could have been an accident.
SPOCK: You should be told the difference between empiricism and stubbornness, Doctor. I checked with the library computer, just as you did. I got the same information.
KIRK: Aren’t you getting a little out of line, Mister Spock? My personal business–
SPOCK: Is my personal business when it might interfere with the smooth operation of this ship.
KIRK: You think that happened?
SPOCK: It could happen.
KIRK: I don’t like anyone meddling in my private affairs. Not even my second in command.
MCCOY: Jim, Spock’s simply trying,
KIRK: I know what he’s doing, and I don’t like it.
MCCOY: It’s his job, and you know it.
KIRK: And you also know that nothing is proven.
SPOCK: Even in this corner of the galaxy, Captain, two plus two equals four. Almost certainly an attempt will be made to kill you. Why do you invite death?
KIRK: I’m not. I’m interested in justice.
MCCOY: Are you? Are you sure it’s not vengeance?

KIRK: Are you Kodos? I asked you a question.
KARIDIAN: Do you believe that I am?
KIRK: I do.
KARIDIAN: Then I am Kodos, if it pleases you to believe so. I am an actor. I play many parts.
KIRK: You’re an actor now. What were you twenty years ago?
KARIDIAN: Younger, Captain. Much younger.

MCCOY: In the long history of medicine, no doctor has ever caught the first few minutes of a play. Riley, don’t forget to– Riley? Captain Kirk, McCoy here.
KIRK: Yes, Doctor.
MCCOY: Riley’s gone. I was recording my log about Karidian and Kodos. If he overheard…

“Balance of Terror”

ROBERT: Happy wedding day, almost.
ANGELA: You won’t get off my hook this easily. I’m going to marry you, Mister, battle or phaser weapons notwithstanding.
ROBERT: Well, meanwhile, temporarily at least, I am still your superior officer. So get with it, Mister.

KIRK: Cancel battle stations. All decks, standby alert.
SULU: Cancel battle stations.
STILES: Captain, may I respectfully remind the Captain what has happened? The Romulans have crossed the Neutral Zone, attacked our outposts, killed our men.
KIRK: Mister Stiles.
STILES: Add to that the fact it was a sneak attack.
KIRK: Mister Stiles, are you questioning my orders?
STILES: Negative, sir. I’m pointing our that we could have Romulan spies aboard this ship.
SULU: I agree, sir. Respectfully recommend all decks maintain security alert.
KIRK: Very well. All decks, security alert.

KIRK: Decoding?
UHURA: Cryptography is working on it, sir.
STILES: Give it to Spock.
KIRK: I didn’t quite get that, Mister Stiles.
STILES: Nothing, sir.
KIRK: Repeat it.
STILES: I was suggesting that Mister Spock could probably translate it for you, sir.
KIRK: I assume you’re complimenting Mister Spock on his ability to decode.
STILES: I’m not sure, sir.
KIRK: Well, here’s one thing you can be sure of, Mister. Leave any bigotry in your quarters. There’s no room for it on the Bridge. Do I make myself clear?
STILES: You do, sir.

STILES: We have to attack immediately.
KIRK: Explain.
STILES: They’re still on our side of the Neutral Zone. There would be no doubt they broke the treaty.
SULU: Attack, without a visible target? How do we aim our phasers?
STILES: Aim with sensors. Not accurate, but if we blanket them
SULU: And hope for a lucky shot before they zero in on us?
STILES: And if we don’t? Once back, they’ll report that we saw their weapons and ran.
SULU: And if they could report they destroyed us?
STILES: These are Romulans! You run away from them and you guarantee war. They’ll be back. Not just one ship but with everything they’ve got. You know that, Mister Science Officer. You’ve the expert on these people, always left out that one point. Why? I’m very interested in why.
KIRK: Sit down, Mister.
SPOCK: I agree. Attack.
KIRK: Are you suggesting we fight to prevent a fight?
MCCOY: Based on what? Memories of a war over a century ago? On theories about a people we’ve never even met face to face?
STILES: We know what they look like.
SPOCK: Yes, indeed we do, Mister Stiles. And if Romulans are an offshoot of my Vulcan blood, and I think this likely, then attack becomes even more imperative.
MCCOY: War is never imperative, Mister Spock.
SPOCK: It is for them, Doctor. Vulcan, like Earth, had its aggressive colonising period. Savage, even by Earth standards. And if Romulans retain this martial philosophy, then weakness is something we dare not show.

KIRK: Phasers, stand by.
STILES: Sir, at this distance?
KIRK: We know their Achilles heel, Mister Stiles. Their weapon takes all their energy. They must become visible in order to launch it.
STILES: A phaser hit at this distance would be the wildest stroke of luck.
KIRK: I’m aware of that, Mister Stiles. Are phasers ready?
STILES: Phasers show ready, sir.

KIRK: I wish I were on a long sea voyage somewhere. Not too much deck tennis, no frantic dancing, and no responsibility. Why me? I look around that Bridge, and I see the men waiting for me to make the next move. And Bones, what if I’m wrong?
MCCOY: Captain, I…
KIRK: No, I don’t really expect an answer.
MCCOY: But I’ve got one. Something I seldom say to a customer, Jim. In this galaxy, there’s a mathematical probability of three million Earth-type planets. And in all of the universe, three million million galaxies like this. And in all of that, and perhaps more, only one of each of us. Don’t destroy the one named Kirk.

KIRK: Captain. Standing by to beam your survivors aboard our ship. Prepare to abandon your vessel.
COMMANDER: No. No, that is not our way. I regret that we meet in this way. You and I are of a kind. In a different reality, I could have called you friend.
KIRK: What purpose will it serve to die?
COMMANDER: We are creatures of duty, Captain. I have lived my life by it. Just one more duty to perform.

STILES: I’m alive, sir. But I wouldn’t be. Mister Spock pulled me out of the phaser room. He saved my life. He risked his life after I–
SPOCK: I saved a trained navigator so he could return to duty. I am capable of no other feelings in such matters.

Update written by Joseph

Gabi joins Stefan at the DiMera Mansion and apologizes for being late as she was in a meeting. Gabi says she just left because she couldn’t be late for her own engagement party. Stefan isn’t sure how much of a party it will be since most of the guests can’t make it. Gabi asks why. Stefan explains that Tony and Anna are still out of town and EJ is still on that mysterious business trip. Stefan adds that Megan told him that Kristen decided to take a trip to New York. Gabi finds it odd that Kristen and EJ both left town without telling them. Stefan reveals that what’s more odd is that Kristen left without her phone when they both know she can’t live without it.

EJ and Kristen remain tied up in the wine cellar in the DiMera tunnels. They try screaming for help. Kristen complains that she would have thought someone would have come for a bottle of wine by now. EJ worries that if Megan had her way, Stefan’s probably already dead. Kristen doubts that and says Megan would’ve gloated about it when she was there before. EJ agrees that Megan does love to gloat, so he doesn’t know how she’s fooling Nicole. EJ can’t believe Nicole fell for Megan’s story as if he would leave for a business trip when Nicole had such an important medical appointment that he arranged to see if she can carry their baby to term. EJ hates to think that Nicole is going through it alone.

At the hospital, Eric encourages Nicole to breathe. Nicole fears that she is losing the baby.

At the Brady Pub, Kate looks over her text conversation with Harris Michaels and notes that she hasn’t heard anything since. Kate texts him asking where the hell he is because she needs more information. Li walks by the Pub with Harris’ phone and texts Kate back that everything went according to plan. Li then remarks to himself that it just wasn’t according to Kate’s plan.

Megan watches as Dr. Rolf shocks Harris’ brain. Dr. Rolf assures Megan that Harris will be doing only her bidding from now on. Megan asks if he’s sure that Harris is ready for the job that she needs him to do tonight. Dr. Rolf tells her not to worry and declares that this will be Stefan’s last night on Earth.

Dimitri tells Johnny and Wendy that he’s glad he ran in to them. Wendy points out that it might be a little weird since she was almost Gabi’s sister-in-law but she really likes her and she’s glad that Gabi is marrying the man she loves. Johnny tells Dimitri that they will see him at the party then. Dimitri thanks them and says that Megan is trying to do something nice for Stefan and Gabi, but admits the attendance on the DiMera side might be a little thin. Johnny says they will help with that.

Kate sends a text to Harris’ phone, asking what he did with Megan. Li responds that it’s best she doesn’t know the details. Li then remarks to himself that she’ll find out soon enough. Kate texts back, inviting Harris to the Pub for a drink to celebrate.

Gwen gets dressed for the engagement party. Leo mentions his plan to drink all night unless she gets him in to the party. Gwen says that Dimitri is hoping for a romantic night so she doesn’t want him spoiling that. Gwen comments on Leo not giving Dimitri the benefit of the doubt. Leo argues against Dimitri wanting to marry her after 24 hours and says even he doesn’t move that fast. Gwen talks about them being losers in love but now her Prince Charming has literally fallen in to her lap. Leo complains that she means he’s still a loser. Gwen says she’s had a wonderful bit of luck and wonders if Leo is just a bit jealous.

Gabi and Stefan look over the guest list for the party. Gabi comments on Gwen being there while Stefan points out Chad attending and says at least a few DiMeras will be there. Gabi says Rafe is the only one from her side that’s coming and he’s so busy with Abe’s case that he said he can only stop by. Gabi worries that the party is going to suck but Stefan calls that impossible since they will be there and he plans on having a grand old time, celebrating their love and the fact that they will soon be husband and wife again. Gabi agrees that them being there together is all that matters.

Kristen tells EJ that Nicole is the least of their problems at the moment. Kristen complains that she’s starving and she can’t believe her sister did this to them. Kristen worries about how this is going to end. EJ tells her not to go there but Kristen questions if there is any reason for Megan to keep them alive.

Megan tells Dr. Rolf that Harris hardly looks like a man ready to carry out an assassination later tonight. Dr. Rolf acknowledges that the procedure was taxing but he’s confident that Harris will be ready. Megan says he better be because Stefano would be rolling over in his grave if Stefan handed over his legacy to Gabi. Megan declares that DiMera should be hers and the flies in the ointment are EJ and Kristen. Megan worries that if she lets them go, they will turn her in to the authorities and ruin everything she has planned. Dr. Rolf asks if she doesn’t have faith in him by now and reveals that he knows how to make sure that won’t happen.

Leo asks Gwen why he would be jealous. Gwen complains about Leo being suspicious about Dimitri when they have ruled out that it’s money or his reputation or a green card. Gwen questions what other possible ulterior motive he could have. Gwen suggests it was just love at first sight, insisting that is possible. Gwen says even as friends, she knew when she first saw Leo that she would always love him. Leo accepts that maybe she’s right. Leo then admits that maybe he is a bit jealous that she has found her Prince Charming while no one has flirted with him in the last millennium. Leo adds that he’s still certain that Dimitri is up to something.

Johnny tells Dimitri that they will see him at the Bistro. Dimitri comments that it should be a great celebration as he walks away. Johnny admits he was surprised that Wendy wanted to go to the party. Wendy explains that Gabi is the closest thing she’s ever had to a sister and she doesn’t think Gabi holds what happened with her and Li against her. Wendy hopes Gabi understands that Li kind of lost his mind when Stefan came back because he knew he was going to lose Gabi, so he did a lot of things that he regrets now. Wendy states that Li did so many things to hold on to her, so she’s really glad that Li has come to his senses and realized that he has to move on…

Li texts Kate back as Harris, saying he’s moving Megan to a secure location and will join her for a drink when he returns.

Chad and Stephanie go to the Brady Pub and greet Kate. Chad tells Kate that they just wanted to stop by and see how she’s doing because he knows she and Abe were close. Kate calls it so terrible and she still can’t believe it as she still hasn’t processed it. Stephanie agrees, calling it awful and sad. Stephanie feels kind of wrong to be going to a party. Chad tells Kate that it’s Stefan and Gabi’s engagement party. Chad adds that he didn’t want to go, but Megan can be insistent. Kate is confused and questions Megan’s involvement.

Gabi tells Stefan that she still doesn’t know why Megan wanted to throw them this party. Stefan feels a party is a party. Gabi says they could give her the benefit of the doubt and assume she means well. Gabi tells Stefan that she needs some help getting in to her dress, so they head upstairs together.

Eric encourages Nicole that everything is going to be okay and she’s not going to lose the baby. Nicole argues that he doesn’t know that. Eric points out that the cramps are less frequent and reminds her that the most important thing is to relax. Nicole says she can’t relax because she’s been through this too many times in the past. Eric argues that this is not like then, repeating that the cramps are less frequent. Nicole comments on Eric being so kind and caring when this isn’t even his baby. Nicole brings up what happened with Jada. Eric tells Nicole that he cares about her even with all the ups and downs they have been through, so he’s not going anywhere. Eric says he’s sorry that EJ is not here for her right now, but he is.

EJ tells Kristen that he’s all for finding a way out, but he feels they have tried everything. EJ doesn’t think they are in danger since if Megan wanted to kill them, she would have already. Kristen worries that she’s just waiting for the right time, pointing out that if Megan has no problem killing Stefan then what’s to stop her with them.

Dr. Rolf presents Megan with a syringe of CRS-17, the drug he used to wipe out people’s memory. Megan calls him a genius and declares that if EJ and Kristen can’t remember that she kidnapped them or that she admitted to planning to kill Stefan, then she is free and clear. Dr. Rolf confirms that how much they forget depends on the dose so having them forget the past week will be easy. Megan says they have a little bit of time before the party, so she will take care of EJ and Kristen on her way to the party. Megan declares that is something to celebrate. Megan tells Harris that she will see him there and he better not let her down this time.

Nicole appreciates Eric being there for her but says it’s a lot to ask. Eric points out that she didn’t ask. Nicole feels like she doesn’t deserve to be comforted and like she’s being punished. Eric assures that God doesn’t punish people by scaring them. Eric decides to go see what’s keeping the doctor and encourages her to relax as he will be right back.

Gwen tells Leo not to wait up. Leo tells her to promise to call him if Dimitri pressures her to accept his proposal tonight. Gwen asks him to give it a rest, questioning what he can dig up on Dimitri in the next three hours. Leo feels it’s the ideal time to dig up dirt since all the DiMeras will be out and he can check out the mansion to look for clues and might even come up with a story out of it. Gwen remarks that he’ll surely come up with a story since the DiMera Mansion is murder mayhem central. Gwen tells Leo that no matter how hard he looks, Dimitri has no ulterior motive. Leo says they’ll see about that.

Stefan struggles helping Gabi get the zipper up on her dress. Stefan decides that it’s a sign that maybe instead of putting clothes on, they should be taking them off. Gabi agrees as they kiss.

Megan enters the living room of the DiMera Mansion, on the phone with Li. Megan tells Li not to worry about Kate as she will take care of her next. Li says he just wants to make sure that none of this is traced back to them. Megan tells him to stop worrying because Harris is firmly back on her team, so he will take Stefan out at the party tonight then Li will be free to move on with Gabi and they both get what they want. Li says it was a pleasure doing business with her and hangs up. Johnny and Wendy walk through the town square and come across Li. Li asks what the occasion is for them to be dressed up. Wendy informs him that they got a last minute invitation to Stefan and Gabi’s engagement party but Li says he doesn’t want them to go.

Kate questions what Chad said about Megan. Chad repeats that she insisted they go to the party. Chad assures that he still hates Megan for what she did to Kate. Chad jokes that he hates 90% of the people that are going to be there 90% of the time. Kate asks when Megan sent the invitation. Chad says it was just awhile ago. Stephanie asks if something is wrong. Kate says no and just that she tries to avoid Megan at all costs. Chad suggests staying away from the Bistro for the next few hours then because Megan is hosting.

Megan prepares the syringe of CRS-17 and looks to the portrait of Stefano, insisting that she’s only doing what is best for the entire family. Megan remarks that Stefano never even knew Stefan existed and doesn’t think he would’ve liked him much. Megan states that Stefan is so easily manipulated by Gabi and is very weak, so she doesn’t think Stefano will be shedding any tears over this. Megan then heads for the tunnels but Dimitri arrives and questions what she is doing.

Stephanie asks Kate if she’s sure she’s alright. Kate claims she’s fine and she just despises Megan and Dimitri. Chad says he’s sorry for what they put her through. Kate says that’s all over now thanks to Chad and adds that she wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for him. Chad is grateful that she is. Kate reminds them that they have a party to go to, so Chad says they should go. Chad jokes that the sooner they get there, the sooner they can leave. Kate tells them to have fun. Chad jokes that it’s going to be lit. Stephanie tells Kate to take care as she and Chad exit the Pub. Kate then calls Harris Michaels.

As Harris phone rings, Wendy comments on Li changing his ringtone. She questions him not answering it. Li blows it off as just spam. Wendy asks why Li doesn’t want them to go to the party. Li argues that Stefan humiliated him. Li then decides that if they really want to go, he knows they are very fond of Gabi which Wendy confirms. Li warns them to watch their backs if they go because you never know what could happen in a room full of DiMeras…

Stefan and Gabi lay in bed together after having sex. Gabi says they better get a move on or they will be late to their own party. Stefan suggests they just not go. Stefan points out that everyone else is sending along their regrets so maybe they should do the same as they continue kissing.

Megan claims to Dimitri that she was just going down to get a few bottles of champagne for the party tonight. Dimitri asks what else she’s been up to since he’s texted her about a dozen times. Megan apologizes and says she’s just been so busy planning everything for the party. Megan asks if Gwen has accepted his proposal. Dimitri says not yet, only because they have been rudely interrupted by her overprotective little roommate. Megan complains that Gwen needs to accept the proposal. Dimitri notes that she did agree to come to the party so he’s sure all the engagement excitement will be contagious. Dimitri is very confident that he will be able to convince Gwen to accept this evening. Megan warns that Dimitri better be confident as she doesn’t need to remind him of the small fortune at stake. Dimitri says he will see her later tonight and exits the mansion. Megan then grabs the syringe and hurries in to the tunnels. Leo then sneaks in to the DiMera Mansion through the side door.

Eric returns to Nicole, who informs him that the doctor said the baby is fine. Eric says that’s great and asks what caused the cramps. Nicole says it was round ligament pain and it’s apparently normal so she just needs to take it easy, stay hydrated, and now she feels like an idiot. Eric understands why she would panic because of her rough history with things like this in the past. Eric is relieved that the baby is okay and he’s sure EJ will feel the same way when he gets back from where ever he is.

EJ tells Kristen that he’d be an idiot if he wasn’t a little worried about what Megan might do to them, but he’s more worried about what she might have already done to Stefan. Megan then enters the room and tells them to relax as she hasn’t done anything to Stefan. Megan then announces that now she has all her ducks in a row, so Stefan will be dead within the hour.

Stefan and Gabi walk through the town square. They agree it would’ve been a bad idea to skip their engagement party. Gabi talks about how they get to celebrate and then go home to spend the rest of the night in bed together. Li approaches them and says he just ran in to Wendy, who said she was going to their party so he would like to offer his congratulations. Stefan thanks him and says that’s very kind of him. Li states that he just wants Gabi to be happy. Gabi tells him that she wants the same for him. Gabi asks if Li is alright as he seems a little edgy. Li claims that he just hopes her evening is every bit as lovely as she deserves it to be. Li then steps away to listen to the voicemail that Kate left, where she says she just heard that Megan is throwing a party tonight and questions how that’s possible. Kate wonders what’s going on and guesses she’ll just have to see with her own eyes. Li deletes the voicemail and remarks that he hopes Kate doesn’t get caught in the crossfire.

Kristen questions Megan saying that Stefan will be dead within the hour. Megan explains that she’s throwing the engagement party tonight and Dr. Rolf has worked his magic on her man, Commander Harris Michaels. EJ questions Dr. Rolf being back. Megan confirms that he is, so tonight, Harris Michaels will do the deed and kill Stefan in front of all his friends and family, except for them two. Kristen asks if she’s going to kill them. Megan says of course not as she doesn’t think Stefano would be very happy about that. EJ swears they won’t implicate her and won’t say anything about this if she lets them go. Megan then reveals the syringe of CRS-17. EJ remembers Dr. Rolf trying to use it on Johnny to erase his memory. Megan tells them that as soon as the drug takes effect, she will be back for them. Megan suggests making it as quick and easy as possible.

Leo sneaks in to the DiMera Mansion and records himself talking about it. Leo notes that he couldn’t overhear the conversation between Dimitri and Megan, but given how shocked Megan was when he came through the tunnels before, he bets that they are hiding something down there and whatever it is will reveal that they are conspiring to screw over Gwen.

Chad and Stephanie arrive at the Bistro and greet Johnny and Wendy. Johnny hugs Chad and says he’s glad to see a family member that he actually knows and likes. Johnny introduces Wendy to Chad and Stephanie. Stephanie mentions hearing a lot about Wendy from Tripp and that he mentioned they might be dating. Stephanie says she shouldn’t have said anything given how Wendy and Johnny are on a date now. Wendy admits that she and Tripp did have a date earlier. Johnny asks if they are calling this a date now. Chad decides it’s none of their business. Chad hopes they have a fun night. Dimitri and Gwen then arrive. Dimitri announces that Gwen is his beautiful date and he hopes that tonight she might do him the honor of accepting his wedding proposal. Chad questions that and Stephanie asks if they knew each other from Europe. Dimitri admits they just met but they agree they share a very deep connection, so they hope they can all be happy for them but guesses not. Gwen says they don’t need anyone’s approval. Chad assures they won’t get it from him. Stefan and Gabi then arrive. Gabi remarks that it’s a room full of people that hates them and tells Stefan that they should’ve stayed home.

Harris Michaels wakes up in Dr. Rolf’s lab and asks what’s going on. Dr. Rolf informs him that he has a very important mission to carry out and asks if he remembers what that is.
