Jada asked Sloan if she found anything to get her out of her marriage to Everett. Sloan told her she didn’t find anything and explained why divorce wasn’t possible. EJ ran into Xander and Sarah and told him about his case. When Kristen got off the phone, Nicole wanted to know what was wrong with her. Everett had an attitude with Leo and Stephanie. When Stephanie wanted Everett to talk, Jada showed up and told him to sign the divorce papers. EJ told Xander that he had to drop the charges against him. Nicole confronted Kristen about telling Rachel to stay away from Holly. Kristen told Nicole that no mother would want their child hanging out with a drug addict. Nicole said Holly wasn’t a drug addict. Kristen told her that Tate suffered because of Holly. She said she had every right to go after her daughter. Nicole told her to fight her if she had a problem. Jada asked Everett to sign the divorce papers. Stephanie was surprised that they were still married.

Nicole and Kristen continued to argue over Holly. Jada told Everett that she didn’t want to be married to him and he didn’t want to be married to her. Everett said he couldn’t sign the papers even if he wanted to. Jada wanted to know how long Everett was going to torture her. Kristen and Nicole argued over their children. While they were arguing, they brought up each other’s crimes. EJ showed up while they were arguing. He wanted to know what was going on. Jada was upset that Everett refused to sign the divorce papers. When Jada walked out, Stephanie went after her. EJ told Kristen about insulting Holly and Nicole. Kristen tried to attack Nicole again. EJ told Kristen that she would have to move out of the mansion if she couldn’t respect Nicole. Stephanie was glad that Jada opened up to her about the divorce. Jada said it couldn’t be easy for her finding out Everett was married. She apologized for ripping Stephanie’s head off. Stephanie understood her reaction. Jada said she was a victim too and asked for forgiveness. Kristen reminded EJ that he didn’t own the mansion and that she was a DiMera longer than he was. Nicole told Kristen that they should keep their daughters away from each other. Jada told Stephanie that she wasn’t to blame for what happened with Everett. She asked Stephanie to forgive her when she was ready. Stephanie said the things Jada said hurt. She said she knew Jada wasn’t trying to hurt her, so she forgave her.

Holly gave EJ a hard time about being grounded. She asked him why she couldn’t see Tate. EJ told her she would realize that the separation would be the best. Holly told him it was his fault for blowing things out of proportion. Clyde called Ava. She wanted to know what he wanted. He said he wanted her to listen up. She said she didn’t have anything to say to him after what he did to her son. Clyde told her to listen to what he had to say unless she wanted him to sell out her boyfriend. He read a story about her being Stefan’s ex-partner and told her he had one more job for her to do for him. When Ava refused to help Clyde, he threatened to get her in trouble. Johnny told Chanel that they were going to the Horton cabin. Chanel didn’t think it was the right time to go because of Paulina’s treatment. Johnny said he arranged for it to happen now because Paulina was going to be in isolation. He assured her that it was going to be the best time ever. She agreed to go with him.

Kristen confronted EJ about the way she found out about Stefan being arrested. She was upset that no one told her. Kristen wondered what Stefan’s arrest meant for the company. EJ said he was busy and walked away from her. He ran into Johnny who told him he was leaving town. Johnny asked about Stefan, but EJ didn’t answer him. Ava said she wouldn’t help Clyde. He asked her how she thought Harris would feel about him being out of prison. When she didn’t answer, he told her he wanted her to get a book for him from the Bistro. He said the book was the only trail back to him. Clyde told her he would never hear from her again if she gave him the book. Ava said it was the last thing she would ever do for him and then she was out. Johnny ran into Holly at the DiMera mansion. He asked her what was going on. She told him that she can’t see Tate anymore. Holly told him she wasn’t in love with Tate. She said EJ said she and Tate were toxic for each other. Johnny apologized for her not being able to see Tate. Holly said it was her fault for messing things up. He gave her advice before he let her know Chanel was meeting him at the mansion. When Johnny left, Rachel showed up and asked Holly to spend time with her. Johnny and Chanel made it to the Horton cabin. While Holly and Rachel were talking, Kristen came in and told her to go upstairs. When Rachel left, Kristen asked Holly what she was doing. She warned Holly to stay away from her daughter. Holly told her they were just doing their nails. Kristen ripped into Holly for lying about Rachel’s half-brother. While Kristen was yelling at Holly, EJ came in and stopped her from yelling at Holly. When Kristen walked away, EJ apologized to Holly for losing his temper. Holly thanked him for having her back.

Steve and John talked about Ava’s role in Clyde’s escape. John wanted to talk to her again to see if they could get her to remember something. Kayla wanted to know what they were up to. Brady let Theresa know that Tate lied about seeing Holly. She couldn’t believe he defied them. Theresa didn’t know why Tate wanted to keep seeing Holly. Brady thought they should work with Nicole and EJ to keep them apart. Theresa was grateful for the way he handled the situation. Maggie wondered how Konstantin and Victor developed a friendship. He explained how they bonded. Maggie let Konstantin know that Victor was part of her second chapter. She talked about the Victor she knew and love. He wanted her to remember Victor the way he was with her. Kayla wanted to know what Steve couldn’t live with. Steve told her that he couldn’t live with Clyde getting away. John let him know they had to go. Julie walked in the room while Maggie and Konstantin were talking. Theresa and Brady hoped Nicole and EJ were on the same page. Alex walked in and asked her what she wanted for dinner. Brady wondered what was going on. Julie told Maggie she was tired because of Thomas and Charlotte. Konstantin wanted to take a walk with Maggie so they could finish their conversation. He left Maggie and Julie alone to talk. Brady reminded Theresa that she was staying at the Salem Inn. Theresa and Alex announced they were roomies again. Steve and John went to Ava’s apartment. John felt like she knew something that could trigger Clyde’s whereabouts. Harris let them know he was investigating Clyde’s disappearance too. He wanted them to let him know when they found something so they wouldn’t take the law into their own hands. Steve was ready to go. John told Steve that he wanted to talk to Harris a little longer. John wanted to look at Goldman’s personnel file. Harris told him that was against policy. John reminded him that they broke the law. He wanted to ask Harris about a common thing they shared. John wanted to know about Megan brainwashing him. Harris told him that he talked to Marlena to get better. John asked him if he was afraid that the brainwashing could happen again.

Julie and Maggie talked about John killing Konstantin’s daughter. Maggie had to dig deep into her feelings to think about what he does. Julie reminded her about the way Doug was years ago. She let Maggie know that she brought out the best in Victor. Maggie appreciated what she said to her. Brady didn’t hide his surprise that Alex was living with Theresa again. They shifted gears and talked about Victor and Alex being his legacy. Brady thought Victor would be proud of him. Alex congratulated Brady because Tate was exonerated. Konstantin met with Theresa at the town square. He wanted to know about her being with Alex. She told him they were platonic. Steve brought flowers to Kayla. She wanted him to talk to her. Steve hated keeping secrets from her. She wanted answers. He wanted her to sit because it was a long story. Harris explained to John that he had to put the blame on the people who tried to control him. He said John had to forgive himself for what happened. Kayla didn’t understand Steve, John and Ava’s plan. She got upset because he was targeting a terrorist who killed their niece. Alex felt like Brady was more interested in Theresa than he’s letting on. Brady denied it. He didn’t want Theresa to deal with Kristen. Alex thought that Brady wanted to be with Theresa. Brady continued to deny wanting her. He didn’t convince Alex of that. Alex said what went on between him and Theresa would stay between them. Konstantin told Theresa to create an illusion for Alex so he would come after her. Theresa had a plan of her own to get him to be with her. Steve wished he didn’t agree to the plan. He asked Kayla to understand, but she didn’t. She didn’t understand why she worked with Ava in the first place. He told her that he thought his son was going to die. They continued to argue because of Ava. Kayla blamed him for putting their family in danger. She stormed out of the room.

Everett told Chad that Stefan was in jail. Chad and Leo wondered why Stefan was in jail. Everett said Stefan confessed to running drugs for Clyde. Stephanie ran into Eric and Sloan and talked about Everett. Jada brought her divorce documents to the police station to prove to Rafe that she divorced Bobby. Rafe apologized for finding out that she was married to Bobby. Jada told him not to be sorry because she was going to prove that she and Bobby were divorced. She checked through her box and found the divorce papers. Rafe was relieved to know he wasn’t sleeping with a married woman. Stephanie told Sloan and Eric that Everett didn’t have any memory of being Bobby. Sloan asked if Eric if Jada ever talked about her marriage. Eric said she didn’t say much about him. Stephane said Jada thought she was the other woman. Sloan sympathized with Jada but didn’t think people should judge Everett until they knew what he was going through. When Sloan left, Stephanie talked to Eric about Jada being upset with her. Sloan met with Rafe and Jada at the police station. She let Jada know she ran into Stephanie at the pub. Jada showed Sloan her divorce papers and said she and Bobby weren’t married. Sloan said she spoke to Rafe’s friend Vincent and found out that Bobby never signed the divorce papers. She said they were still married. Chad talked to Everett about the last time he saw Stefan. He said it was a cry for help. Everett said he finished the story and asked if he wanted him to publish it. Chad told him to publish it. Everett said the last time he wanted to write the story he wanted him to bury it. He wanted to make sure Chad wasn’t going to bury it again. EJ talked to Nicole about the board finding out about Stefan’s arrest. He said the board was going to get rid of Stefan if he didn’t leave on his own. Nicole asked if Stefan was responsible for the drugs that put Holly in a coma. EJ said he could be. He said he was doing what Clyde wanted in order to save her life. While they were talking, Brady showed up. Brady said he wanted a public apology for Tate. He said he wanted EJ to admit to being wrong for accusing Tate of doing something he didn’t do. Brady said he wanted it and that was what EJ was going to do.

Jada wanted to know why her divorce decree wasn’t valid. Sloan said Bobby never signed it. Jada said no one would know about it if it weren’t for Rafe’s friend. Rafe said he was trying to help. Sloan said the problem was fixable. She said Vincent gave her the divorce papers for her to sign. Jada wanted to take care of it right away. While Chad and Everett were talking, Stephanie showed up and told them she was going to continue representing the paper. She said she wanted Chad to be the person she contacted. Jada called Everett and asked him to come to meet with her. He agreed to meet her. EJ told Brady that he didn’t have a problem making a public apology for Tate. Brady said he didn’t think he would after what he said about Tate and Holly’s deceit. Holly showed up and said she was going for a walk. When Holly went outside, Tate was there. She told him his father was there. Tate gave her a burner phone. Holly asked how he was doing. He said he was glad to be out of the halfway house. She apologized for what she did. They talked about their parents not keeping them apart at school. Nicole told Brady that she told Holly to apologize to Tate and Theresa. Brady told her to tell her husband that as well. EJ said he went by the evidence for why he went after Tate. Brady said EJ did it because of his hatred of him. Nicole pulled EJ aside and told him everything happened because Holly took drugs. She said they should do the right thing. EJ agreed with her. He apologized to Brady and was going to issue a letter of apology as soon as possible. Everett met with Jada and Rafe at the pub. Sloan mention the divorce papers, but Everett didn’t know what she was talking about. Jada said she asked him for a divorce. Everett asked why he would remember a divorcing her when he didn’t remember marrying her. Jada told him they were still married. Brady, EJ, and Nicole caught Tate and Holly together. Chad told Stephanie that he was an idiot for trusting Stefan. While Chad was talking, he noticed that Stephanie was distracted. She said she was confused about Everett and didn’t know if he meant to hurt her or Jada. Sloan showed Everett the divorce papers. Everett signed the papers. Sloan asked him about his signature. Brady told Tate that he warned him to stay away from Holly. Holly said she wanted to see him. Brady said Tate shouldn’t be around her because she accused him of drugging her. Nicole agreed that they should stay away from each other. Tate said he forgave Holly. Brady said they had to stay away from each other. Chad told Stephanie to let Everett lean on someone else. She said Everett didn’t have anyone else in Salem. Chad said Everett could lean on him. Stephanie thought that was nice, but Everett wouldn’t open up to him. Sloan told Everett that he signed the wrong name. She told him to sign Bobby. Everett said he wouldn’t sign the name Bobby because he wasn’t that man. He told her to find another way to get the divorce.

Kate went to see Lucas at the Monastery. She wasn’t sure if they had enough evidence to get him out of there. Lucas wondered if he had to stay there to finish out his time. Tate wasn’t happy that Theresa didn’t want him talking to Holly. He insisted that he wanted to get out. Tate hadn’t seen his friends in a long time. Brady wanted to make sure he wasn’t going to see Holly. Tate assured him that he wasn’t going to see her. Brady agreed to let him go. Nicole talked to Holly about the drugs. Holly thought she would be grounded. Nicole wanted to make sure her punishment fit the crime. She recapped everything Holly did. Nicole knew she was trying to protect her. Holly said she did try to protect her. Nicole felt like she was protecting herself. Kate didn’t want to give up on freeing Lucas. She reminded him that he helped with Clyde. Kate planned on going to the governor to free Lucas. Nicole wanted Holly to apologize to Tate and his parents for what she did. Holly said she couldn’t talk to Tate because they don’t want her too. Nicole didn’t blame them because she made him lose time. Holly wondered if Nicole forgave her for what she did. Brady and Theresa were grateful Tate was home. He felt like the nightmare was over. Theresa didn’t think Tate would be happy to see her things in his room. She wanted him to sleep in his own bed. Brady offered his bed to her. He said he would stay on the couch and she could stay in his room. Things got awkward when he assumed that she wanted to share his bed with her. Theresa said it was time for her to move out of the house. Holly told Nicole that drugs were everywhere. Nicole wanted to know if she was using before she overdosed. Holly admitted that she drank during the holidays. Nicole couldn’t believe she missed it. She wanted to trust Holly, but she showed her that she couldn’t do it.

Kate didn’t want Lucas to do anything to make Clyde come after him. She warned him that Clyde is all about revenge. He wondered if he wasn’t going to be safe until Clyde was dead. Brady let Theresa know that she could stay with him, but she felt she needed to go. She was happy that they worked on the same side for once. Holly didn’t understand why her mother didn’t trust her when she told the truth. Nicole told her that she didn’t learn anything. She said she had to earn her trust back. Nicole wanted her to go to therapy. Holly thought she wanted to send her to rehab and rejected the idea. Nicole chastised her for telling her that she didn’t want to go to rehab. Holly tried to throw her past up in her face, but Nicole put her in her place. Nicole continued to yell at her about her behavior. She grounded Holly indefinitely. Holly had to give her the phone and her car keys. She refused to give up her phone and keys. Holly wanted her to let her live. She reminded her that she used her phone to become self-sufficient. Holly called her out for being with different men. Nicole was about to slap her, but she stopped herself. She demanded the phone. Holly gave her the phone, but refused to give her the password to it.

Stephanie ran into Everett at the Brady Pub. He told her about his first hypnosis session. She asked how it went. Everett said he saw something that scared him. Stephanie asked what he saw. He said he saw himself. Jada talked to Rafe about meeting at the Brady Pub. Xander showed Sarah the surveillance footage of the person shooting Harris. He told her about the pants the person was wearing. Xander said his pants were different from the shooter’s. He said he had proof that he didn’t know who shot him. Tripp comforted Wendy because she was dealing with PTSD from the kidnapping. Wendy told him what she was going through since the kidnapping. She said she noticed he was going through it. Tripp suggested that they think about happy thoughts. He said they would do something frivolous. Everett told Stephanie about his vision. He said he saw himself smiling and it frightened him. Stephanie asked what Marlena thought about it. He said he didn’t tell her. Xander gave Sarah his pants and told her the stripes on the shooter’s pants weren’t the same. Sarah told him they should go to the police. They went to the police station.

Stephanie asked Everett why he didn’t talk about his vision. Everett said he didn’t know why he didn’t talk to her. When Jada walked in the pub, she saw Stephanie with Everett. Wendy asked if low oxygen was the reason why they got married. Tripp said it wasn’t the carbon dioxide. He said they were saying things they were afraid of saying otherwise. Tripp said he didn’t regret anything he said that night. He asked if she did. Wendy said she didn’t. Rafe looked at Xander’s pants. Xander told Rafe that Harris’ shooter was wearing expensive pants. Sarah said the shooter had money. Xander asked if he could keep the money the shooter gave him. Sarah said the pants proved his innocence. Stephanie told Jada about her attitude towards them. Jada said they were being cozy with each other. Stephanie told her that Everett was in therapy with Marlena. Everett told Jada about a vision he had under hypnosis. He said he saw himself smiling. Jada said that sounded like his old self. Stephanie suggested that they leave, but Everett understood Jada’s hostility towards her. He told Jada that everything he said to her was true as far as he knew. Jada didn’t believe him. He said not remembering her agonized her. Stephanie asked her to have compassion for him, but Jada wasn’t interested. She said she was glad not to deal with him anymore. Rafe said he noticed the difference with the pants. He said it could be good news for Xander. Stephanie apologized to Everett for Jada’s attitude. Everett said he understood Jada’s attitude towards him. She wondered if Marlena could talk Jada into empathizing with him.

Everett went to see Marlena but thought it was a mistake coming. Chad went to visit Abby’s grave. He talked to her about the kids. While he was talking to her, he told her they were at the Kiriakis. He said the Horton house was going to be done soon. Chad said he missed her. He apologized for Clyde escaping and blamed himself for it. While Stephanie and Julie were at the Horton house, they talked about Everett. Stephanie changed the subject to talk about the time capsule. Julie said her grandfather wanted the family to solve the puzzle together. She said she was going to devote her time to fixing the Horton house. Chad told Abby that it was his fault. He said Clyde wouldn’t have retaliated if he didn’t put the interview in the paper. He said he put the whole thing in motion. Chad said he wanted to make Clyde pay for what he did to her. He said Clyde sent someone to torch her grandparents’ house where she spent her happiest days. Chad said he let her and her family down. He said Clyde escaped, but he was going to make it right. Marlena talked to Everett about his memories. Everett said part of him wanted to know what happened while the other was afraid to find out what happened. She said he would be safe with her because they would stop if he didn’t want to go on. Everett agreed to hypnosis. Stephanie told Julie that she was thinking about dropping the Spectator as a client. Julie asked why. Stephanie said she had to find out if he used her while he was married to Jada. She told Julie that Jada was upset with her and accused her of ignoring the signs that Everett was married. Julie said Stephanie didn’t know. Stephanie wondered if Jada was right about her ignoring the signs.

Marlena put Everett under hypnosis. She asked him to tell her about his mother. Everett talked to her about his mother. Marlena asked him questions about his mother. She wanted to know if he wanted to ask his mother questions. Everett was uncomfortable with the question. Marlena told him to ask his mother a question. He asked why she did it. Julie told Stephanie not to blame herself for Everett’s lies. She said Stephanie was devastated when she found out. Stephanie said she was devastated because she thought he was the one. She said she thought they would have had a happily ever after until this happened. Stephanie thought she was being insensitive about Everett’s problem. Julie told her to forget about Everett. She said the family would get her through it. Chad showed up while Julie and Stephanie were talking. He said he was there to check the kids’ room. He had a vision of himself smiling. When Julie left the room, Chad asked Stephanie about Everett. Stephanie told him that she was thinking about not working with the Spectator. Chad told her not to leave. He was willing to fire him so she could stay. Stephanie changed the subject by asking him about the house. Chad blamed himself for what happened. Brady let everyone at the mansion know that he was about to see Tate. He was about to leave when Holly stopped him. She apologized to Nicole for the drugs. Holly admitted the drugs were hers. EJ wanted to know why Holly confessed now. Brady yelled at Holly for lying about the drugs. He told her that Tate was in trouble and she didn’t say anything. Holly let it slip that Eric knew the truth. Nicole wanted to know why she told Eric the truth and not her. Holly knew Eric wouldn’t judge her and thought Nicole would blame herself. EJ wanted Nicole to tell them everything. EJ wondered if Tate was her dealer. Brady yelled at EJ, but Eric wanted him to calm down. Holly reminded Nicole about what happened when she recovered. She knew Nicole would blame herself because she was grieving over the baby. Holly thought it would be too much for her. Nicole comforted her. Tate told Theresa that Holly wasn’t a bad person, but she didn’t believe that. Theresa reminded him that he broke into the DiMera mansion and the DA was after him. He wanted her to keep her voice down. Theresa didn’t care who heard her talking. She told him that Holly wasn’t a good person. Theresa said Holly was bad news and she despised her. Nicole wished Holly confided in her. EJ wondered if she went to Eric because he was a priest. Eric told them how close he and Holly were. Brady yelled at Holly because Tate was at a halfway house because of her. EJ thought she was lying again. Holly said she had proof in her room. She wondered if Nicole was ashamed of her. Nicole told her that she wasn’t ashamed. She wished she went to her about what happened. Holly thought she wasn’t strong enough to handle it. She showed her the drugs that she had in her room. Nicole wanted to show everyone the drugs. Holly showed everyone the drugs. She said that Tate tried to stop her. Brady couldn’t believe she let Tate take the fall for everything.

Paulina and Abe went to the hospital to see if she’s cancer free. Sarah arrived to give Paulina her test results. Tate wanted Theresa to stop yelling. He didn’t need her getting mad at him on top of everything else. She realized that she shouldn’t lash out at him. Theresa thought Holly should have come forward if she cared about him. Tate believed Holly thought she did the right thing. Sarah told Paulina that she was cancer free. Paulina, Abe and Sarah were excited about the news. Sarah explained everything Paulina would have to do in the future. Brady called Holly out for ruining his son’s life. He demanded that EJ get Tate out of the halfway house immediately. EJ let him know that it wouldn’t be right away. Brady threatened him with a civil lawsuit if he didn’t fix the situation. He stormed out of the mansion. Holly blamed herself for what happened. Eric comforted Nicole after Holly stormed off. Nicole wanted to know how long he knew the truth. He told her that Holly told him that day. Brady arrived at the halfway house and told Tate that he could pack his bags. Tate and Theresa were excited. Brady told them that Justin was going to get the charges against Tate dropped. He said it was a done deal. They talked about how Holly felt about everything. EJ realized that Holly cared about Tate very much. He knew Nicole wondered where Holly got the drugs. She wasn’t sure, but she knew they had to question her about the drugs. Tate was relieved that Holly came through for him. He wanted to call Holly. Theresa didn’t want him to go overboard thanking Holly. He admitted that he told her that she didn’t have to tell the truth about the drugs. Brady couldn’t believe he was going to continue to take the fall for Holly.
