Holly and Johnny talked about Nicole. Tate tried to stall Chanel, but she told him she wanted to go back to Johnny. He tried to stall her by asking her about the oven. She told him to fill out the application and promised to tell him about the oven if he got the job. When she left, he texted Holly to let her know about Chanel. Johnny told Holly he needed her help. He told her his wedding anniversary with Chanel was coming up. He wanted her help to plan something special for Chanel. Holly agreed to help him. When Chanel came back to the pub, Johnny got a call from Sydney. He walked away so he could take the call. Chanel told Holly she wanted to talk to her. She wanted to talk about Holly’s crush on Johnny. Holly denied having a crush on him. She lied and said she had a crush on Tate but his father won’t let him date. When Johnny came back, Tate showed up. Holly told Tate that she was telling Chanel that she had a crush on him and how they couldn’t date. Tate said they could date because he didn’t care what his father thought. Darius went to see Dimitri. Dimitri didn’t recognize him until Darius explained how they met. Darius said he wanted to help him escape to get revenge on Leo. Dimitri said he knew he was married to Leo but didn’t have the full details. Darius told him what happened. Dimitri apologized that he got hurt but Leo changed. He said he and Leo loved each other. Darius tried to convince Dimitri to dress in drag so he could escape and leave Leo holding the back for all the charges.

Sloan told EJ that Dimitri would turn himself in in exchange for the charges against Leo getting dropped. She said Dimitri wouldn’t plead guilty to murder and told him he wouldn’t make the charges stick. EJ agreed to the deal and left to get the paperwork. Leo didn’t feel comfortable letting Dimitri sacrifice himself for him. She tried to convince him to go along with it when Eric called and had to leave. EJ came back with the paperwork. Leo signed the paperwork. After he signed the paperwork, Dimitri walked into the interrogation room to turn himself in. At the hospital, Nicole thought the DNA results would prove Eric and Sloan’s baby was hers, She apologized for not considering his feelings. Nicole said she knew how important it was for him to be a father. He said it was fine. She got upset when she realized he did the test to humor her. He explained to her that this was nothing more than her grief making her imagine things. She said he didn’t see the baby when it was born. Nicole said she knew her child better than anyone and knew he adopted her son. It upset him when she accused Sloan of taking her baby. Nicole reminded him that she stole a baby and knew how it was to do it. He wanted to check on the DNA results. She said she would watch the baby, but he said he would take him. Eric called Sloan and told her about the test. Sloan went to the hospital and walked into the office Nicole was in. Nicole told her when the results would be ready. She said everyone would know the truth. When Eric came back, Sloan said she never consented to the test on their son and didn’t want it done. He said it was too late and held up the envelope with the results in it.

Dimitri arrived at the station and told EJ he was there to turn himself in. EJ ripped up the paperwork and decided to charge both of them. Dimitri said it would hold up in court. He was shocked Dimitri went to law school, but Leo remembered he did. Rafe talked to Harris about the drugs they seized disappearing. He thought the person who took the drugs took his keys. Rafe joked with Harris and said he was suspended. Harris felt bad, but Rafe told him that he was joking. Rafe believed their next case would be strong. EJ walked int he room and told Rafe to throw the book at Dimitri. Rafe walked in the interrogation room and told Leo that he was free to go. He put the cuffs on Dimitri, but he got a text. Rafe gave Dimitri and Leo a chance to say goodbye. Dimitri let Leo know that he wasn’t going to come back, but he couldn’t let him take the fall for him. Leo was worried that Dimitri would get charged with the baby’s murder. Dimitri said he wouldn’t be charged with murder since the baby wasn’t dead. Rafe came back to take Dimitri to holding. Stefan was surprised to see Ava at the Bistro. They talked about Clyde. He didn’t like what Clyde’s making them do. Ava was thankful they only had to launder money. He had a plan to kill Clyde so they would be free. Stefan told her about the man Vivian knows that locked up with Clyde at Statesville. Ava wasn’t sure about it because Gabi and Tripp could get killed if it didn’t work. Sloan told Eric that she didn’t consent to him getting a DNA test done on their son. Eric told her the results were in the envelope. She didn’t want him to read the results. Nicole thought it was because she knew the baby was hers. Sloan didn’t want to encourage her theories about the baby being hers.

Eric got suspicious of Sloan, but he thought they should read the results so Nicole would learn the truth. Nicole took the envelope. She read the results and saw the baby wasn’t hers. Nicole didn’t understand how the baby wasn’t hers when she was positive he belonged to her. Kayla arrived and Nicole questioned if she tested the baby against her DNA. She admitted that she didn’t have enough DNA from the toothbrush. She used EJ’s DNA. Nicole got upset before she left. Later, EJ and Nicole talked about Dimitri getting arrested and the charges against Leo getting dropped. She didn’t care and told him what happened at the hospital. EJ didn’t mean for her to go through that ordeal alone. She got upset with herself because she couldn’t recognize her child. EJ offered to comfort her. Eric and Sloan went home. She was still upset that he consented to the DNA test without talking to her first. He told her that he tried to tell her, but she had to leave to talk to a client. Sloan remembered her client and called the station to check on Dimitri and Leo. She found out that Leo got released. Sloan and Eric decided to be happy. They talked about baby names. Eric wanted to name their baby Jude. Sloan agreed to the name.

Holly called Eric to see if he would do the DNA test. He agreed to do it, but he wanted to talk to Sloan first. Sloan walked in the room and wanted to know what he wanted to say. Eric got off the phone with Holly so he could talk to Sloan. He told her about his conversation with Holly. Eric was about to tell her about the DNA test when Dimitri texted her. Dimitri wasn’t happy that the charges weren’t dropped the way he wanted. She told Eric that she had to leave. She told him that whatever he wanted to do to convince Nicole the baby was theirs was fine with her. EJ told Nicole he would throw the book at Leo for his role in their baby’s death. She lied to him and said she didn’t think Eric and Nicole’s baby was theirs. She told Holly that she still believed Eric and Sloan’s baby was hers. Holly told her about the idea she had to get a DNA test done. Nicole was happy that Eric agreed to do it. She got her toothbrush for the test. Holly wanted to go with her when she received a text from Tate. Nicole said she could handle it alone.

Dimitri was upset with Sloan because Leo was still in jail. She told him that EJ wouldn’t drop the charges so she filed a motion so the judge could do it. Sloan got a message from the judge telling her the motion was denied. She apologized to Dimitri. Her apology wasn’t good enough for him so he called Nicole. He wanted to talk to her about her baby, but Sloan took his phone from him. She hung up the phone. Nicole tried to call him back, but Sloan declined the call. Sloan told Dimitri that she would get Leo out of jail. She suggested he turn himself in and he would be the only one getting charged. EJ arrived at the station and Leo offered his condolences. He told EJ that the baby was healthy when Dimitri took him to the hospital. EJ didn’t want to hear what he had to say and gladly told him the judge turned down the motion to drop the charges. He told Leo he could make the deal for him if he told him where to find Dimitri. Leo refused to turn on Dimitri. Sloan arrived and told EJ that Dimitri agreed to turn himself in so the charges would get dropped against Leo. Dimitri looked at a picture of Leo. He couldn’t believe he loved someone so much that he would sacrifice his freedom. There was a knock on the door. He didn’t know who it was. Eric brought the baby to the hospital to see Kayla. He asked her to run a DNA test on him. Eric told her what happened with Nicole. She agreed to do the test when Nicole arrived with her toothbrush. Nicole looked at the baby and smiled. Eric and Kayla were concerned. Kayla told them the test would be done in an hour.

Dimitri called Sloan demanding to know why Leo was still in jail. She told him that she was busy with her son. He told her that she had to get Leo out of jail, or he would tell Nicole everything. She promised to do it. She hung up the phone and told Eric that she had a meeting with a client. Nicole and EJ arrived at the mansion when Holly showed up. She was about to leave them alone when Nicole stopped her. Nicole apologized to her for the way she talked to her. Holly understood why she did it. The bell rang so EJ left to answer it. After he left, Nicole told Holly that her baby was alive. She told Holly about her theory about Eric and Sloan’s new baby. Holly was skeptical about her theory. She was worried about Nicole. EJ opened the door to Sloan. She wanted to talk about Leo. Sloan asked him to drop the charges against Leo. She told him that Leo wasn’t responsible for his son’s death. EJ didn’t agree with her and wanted her to leave. EJ walked away from her, but she followed him inside. Nicole wanted to talk to her. She wanted to know where Sloan got her baby. Sloan told her that her baby wasn’t her son. She offered her condolences, but she was wrong about the baby. Nicole didn’t believe her. EJ ordered Sloan to leave. Nicole went after her, but Holly stopped her. Nicole yelled at EJ for letting Sloan leave. She ended up crying in his arms. Nicole felt bad for breaking down in front of Holly. They looked around and Holly was gone.

Konstantin told Maggie that he owed a loan sharks money in Greece, and they were responsible for the kidnapping. He thought they were trying to get him to pay by kidnapping the baby. Steve didn’t believe him, but Maggie was convinced. After Steve left, Maggie told Konstantin that she felt bad for him, but he had to leave because she couldn’t put her family in danger. She offered to pay for his hotel stay, flight and debt so he could pay the loan sharks. He wouldn’t have to worry about the loan sharks anymore. He tried to protest by telling her that he cared about her and didn’t want her money. She wanted him to take it and leave. Sloan met with Dimitri at the motel. He wanted to know what was going on with Leo. She told him Leo would be out of jail the next morning. He thanked her for helping Leo. Steve met with John at the town square. He told him about Konstantin. He didn’t believe Konstantin. He wanted to continue investigating him. Holly went to see Eric. She told him about Nicole’s theory about the baby. Holly didn’t know how to help her mother. She knew Nicole needed help. Holly asked Eric to do a DNA test on the baby to prove he wasn’t Nicole’s baby. Eric was skeptical about that, but she pleaded with him to do it.

Stephanie was surprised that Chad came to his senses about Everett. She was suspicious of him until he wanted to invite Everett over. Chad realized he was off base about Everett’s intentions towards her. Stephanie insisted that Chad wasn’t wrong. She admitted what Everett’s intentions were when she first saw him. Xander told Everett that he had to let him go. He wanted to know why. He thought about Chad’s offer. Xander lied about Gwen disapproving of his article about Leo. He told him that Gwen wanted him to fire him. Everett didn’t believe him. Steve thought Konstantin had an accomplice so he could look like the hero in the kidnapping. Kayla didn’t think that theory was true. Sarah agreed with Kayla that Konstantin was charming. She remembered that she was hesitant about him at first too and shared her thoughts with Maggie. Steve thought Konstantin probably heard them. She thought it was possible. Sarah admitted that her feelings about Konstantin changed when he saved her daughter. Steve thought his plan worked like a charm. They wondered who the accomplice was. Alex overheard Theresa and Konstantin talking about her going after Alex’s inheritance. He wondered why Konstantin cared about it. Maggie overheard them and wondered why it mattered to Konstantin as well. He covered his tracks by saying he was concerned about Theresa’s motives. Alex and Maggie defended Theresa.

Chad and Stephanie enjoyed their time together until Everett arrived. He let Stephanie know they won’t be working together anymore. She wanted to know what happened. He told her that Xander’s silent partner wanted him to go. He wasn’t sure what would happen to her because he hired her. She wondered what he would do now. He would figure it out. Chad pretended to be shocked about his firing. He wished him luck. He had dinner with Stephanie and assured her that things would be okay. It wasn’t her fault that Everett lost his job. Everett called Gwen, but he got her voice mail. Maggie talked to Konstantin. He let her know that Steve wanted her to leave town. She wanted to know why. He admitted that he lied to her about the tablecloth. Konstantin also admitted that he lied about his relationship with Victor. He swore that everything else was the truth. Steve suggested he tell her about the kidnapping. Konstantin was upset that he accused him of the kidnapping. He could tell them who really did it.

Chad told Stephanie that the kids were with Doug and Julie so they could have some time to fix things. She agreed with him when Everett showed up. Everett needed his help with Leo’s situation. He asked her to go to the office with him. Chad thought they should distance themselves away from Leo, but Everett disagreed with him. Stephanie sided with Everett. She understood Chad’s feelings since he lost his nephew, but she reminded him that it was her job. Sarah went to see Xander. She surprised him by showing him Victoria’s updated birth certificate. She named him as Victoria’s father. Sarah told him that she had Justin draw up the paperwork for joint custody. She was happy that things were getting better. She thought there was a chance they could get back together. Sarah was open to the idea. He was about to kiss her when she told him that she had to go to work. After she left, Chad showed up. He wanted Xander to sell his half of the newspaper. Xander wasn’t interested in selling his half of the paper. Chad told him that Gwen sold her half of the paper and they were partners now. He would allow Xander to keep the profits if he fired Everett.

Steve told Kayla that he and John found out the truth about Konstantin. They found out that he lied to Maggie. He told her that Konstantin and Victor weren’t close anymore when he wanted a loan. Victor turned down a loan that Konstantin wanted. Kayla thought Konstantin had good intentions, but Steve didn’t agree with that. Kayla thought they shouldn’t say anything to Maggie about Konstantin. He didn’t think that was a good idea. Kayla thought he should tell Maggie’s family so they could watch out for him. Sarah walked in and he told her about Konstantin. She had doubts about him too. Sarah told him about Victoria’s kidnapping and how he found her. He didn’t know about the kidnapping. Steve wondered if he was behind the kidnapping. Stephanie and Everett were working at the paper. She went into his laptop bag and found a ring. He admitted that he bought it the night he was going to propose to her. Everett was going to propose to her when he saw her again, but she was with Chad. He knew he should sell the ring to help pay for his medical bills. She apologized to him, but he said she didn’t need to be sorry. Everett wished she didn’t find it. Later, Xander let Everett know he was fired.

Rafe offered EJ his condolences over the loss of his son. He didn’t want Rafe’s condolences. EJ wanted him to find Dimitri so he could get charged for the baby’s death. Rafe informed him the police were doing everything possible to find him. EJ wanted to throw the book at Dimitri and Leo. Rafe wondered what he was going to do about Ava. He told EJ forensics checked Gil’s fingernails and the results proved that Ava killed him in self-defense. EJ wondered if Ava planted the evidence, but Rafe didn’t think she did that. He didn’t see a reason to prosecute her if Rafe thought she killed Gil in self-defense. Eric didn’t think it was a good idea for Nicole to hold his baby. She thought holding the baby would comfort her. Nicole agreed with Eric, but he changed his mind. He let her hold the baby. She talked about how sweet the baby was. Harris wondered what happened to his lawyer. Leo told him that Sloan would be there to prove his innocence. He assured him that he didn’t murder the baby. Leo mourned the baby too. Harris left him and talked to Jada about Ava. Eric was shocked when Nicole announced that he was her baby. Eric was confused by what she said. Nicole let her know that she recognized her baby because she held him when he was born. Eric said it was impossible, but Nicole believed he was her baby. He told her that he heard that Leo was getting charged with murder and thought she was the one who should be charged. She didn’t understand what he meant. He reminded her that he brought a healthy baby to her, and she was supposed to take him to the hospital. The baby ended up dying. Dimitri knew she hated Nicole but didn’t think she would kill the baby. Sloan said she would never do that to a baby. He wanted to know how the baby ended up dying. She lied to him about the accident, but he noticed baby items around her place. He figured out that she kept the baby. She tried denying it, but she admitted it. Harris called Ava and let her know that he couldn’t find his key. He wondered if she saw his keys. She looked at the table and saw the keys. She put the keys in her pocket when Stefan arrived at her apartment. He told her that he was her new partner. Ava pretended not to know what he meant. Stefan told her that Clyde blackmailed him with Gabi’s safety, so he had to help him. He asked her about the keys, and she showed it to him. Stefan was going to make copies of them so she could give them back to Harris. She wonders why she should trust him, and he told her they had to work together. He told her they had to protect the people they love, but he didn’t plan on being blackmailed for long. Stefan was about to leave when Harris arrived. He lied to Harris about why he was there. He wanted to talk to Wendy and Tripp about Li being killed. Harris warned him about interrogating witnesses. After Stefan left, Harris wondered why she didn’t return his call. She said she was about to call him when Stefan showed up. He asked her about his keys, and she said she didn’t see it. Sloan was on the phone with Melinda. She talked about the guilt she felt about the baby when Eric walked in the room. Sloan told him that she was on the phone with Melinda. She was happy and wondered if Eric was. He was happy too, but he kept thinking about Nicole’s baby. Melinda arrived with the baby. They were excited about the baby. Sloan was nervous because the baby cried with her and was calm with Eric. He thought she had to get used to the idea. He took the baby for a walk. After he left, Dimitri was at the door.

EJ arrived at the hospital to help Nicole get discharged. Dr. Pierce talked to them about the autopsy results from the baby. He said the baby died because of the car accident. Nicole didn’t understand so he explained it to her. She wanted to see her baby, but he didn’t think it was a good idea. Nicole refused to back down about that. He left to make the arrangements. She told EJ he didn’t have to stay, but she had to do it. He said he wanted to see the baby too. She apologized that he didn’t get a chance to hold the baby. Nicole thought they should hold him now. Harris talked to Leo at the police station. He told him that Nicole’s baby died, and he would be charged with murder. Leo didn’t understand since the baby seemed healthy. Harris told him that the baby died because of the accident. He left Leo alone so he could talk to his lawyer. Leo called Sloan and she said she would help him as soon as she could. Dr. Pierce went to see Melinda. He told her that Nicole and EJ wanted to see their baby. She told him that he took the money and he had to figure out what to do. He demanded more money from her. Dr. Pierce went back to the hospital. Nicole was upset when he didn’t have the baby with him. He told her the baby was accidentally cremated. He apologized to EJ and Nicole. EJ and Nicole were upset and yelled at him. He apologized again and offered to get the ashes. Dr. Pierce left the room and Nicole broke down in EJ’s arms. Later EJ took Nicole to the pub. She wanted to wait outside because she didn’t want to face anyone. Eric showed up with the baby. Nicole was surprised they already had the baby. He said he was bringing the baby there to meet his father. Nicole wanted to hold him.

Tate talked to Brady about Holly. He said he tried to make her feel better but she ghosted him. Brady advised him not to give up on her. He said she could use a friend to lean on as long as she respects her boundaries. He suggested that Tate bring her pie. Chanel talked to Paulina about Holly’s crush on Johnny. She didn’t want Holly going after her man. Johnny called Chanel and told her he was going to be with Holly for Thanksgiving because she was upset about the baby. Chanel told him she understood. When Chad came home, he and Stephanie talked. Chad went to take a shower. While he was gone, his phone rang. she saw Gwen’s name on his phone. When he came out of the shower, she asked him about Gwen’s number being on his phone. He lied to her about why she was on the phone. When Stephanie left the room, Gwen called him. He told her the contracts were signed. The money was going to be transferred by the next day. He thanked her for selling half the Spectator. He asked her to keep quiet about it. He said he didn’t want Stephanie to find out he was doing this to get Everett out of their lives.

Chad and Stephanie went to the Horton House for dinner. They saw Everett in the house. Julie told them she invited Everett to dinner. Chad asked her if she knew him. Everett thought they knew each other in a previous life. He told them about the story he wanted to write. Stephanie asked Chad and Everett to check the turkey. She talked to Julie about her past with Everett. Abe, Paulina, and Chanel ate dinner. When they were finished, Chanel showed him pictures of Lani, Eli and the twins. He was upset that he didn’t remember them. Chanel apologized to him. She said she didn’t mean to upset him. When Chanel left to clean up, Abe and Paulina spent time together. She told him she was tempted to kiss him. She said she knew the mistake she made the last time. She was determined to be grateful for what she has. He said he wanted to kiss her. Johnny and Holly spent time together until Tate showed up. Johnny decided to go see Chanel since Holly wouldn’t be alone. When Johnny left, Holly told him she would forgive him for being an idiot if he helped her break up Johnny and Chanel. Tate told her Johnny was too old for her. He agreed to help her. He said he wanted to see her happy. She said would be happy when Johnny saw that Chanel was wrong for him.

Sloan told Eric they were getting tomorrow. He was happy about it, but he couldn’t help thinking about Nicole losing her baby. Sloan felt bad for Nicole and EJ, but she wanted to focus on their new lives together. EJ was trying to comfort Nicole when Stefan burst in the room. He demanded EJ drop the charges against Gabi. EJ wanted him to have some compassion for Nicole. Stefan wondered where EJ’s compassion for his wife was. He reminded EJ that his wife was rotting in prison because of him. Stefan finally calmed down and offered his condolences. Nicole wanted EJ to talk to Stefan outside because she wanted to be alone. Clyde called Ava. He let her know that killing Gil didn’t get her out of their arrangement. She told him that Gil tried to rape her. Clyde thought he was playing hard to get. He threatened Tripp and reminded her to get the key. Harris walked in the interrogation room while she was on the phone with Clyde. Clyde threatened Tripp again before she hung up. She lied about talking to a defense attorney who charged too much. He said she might not need an attorney if he could prove she killed Gil in self-defense. She appreciated what he was doing for her.

EJ and Stefan argued about Gabi in the park. Stefan offered to reinstate EJ as co-CEO. EJ wanted to be sole CEO. Stefan agreed to it if he could get Gabi back. He offered his shares to EJ. EJ got a message about Ava’s situation and rejected Stefan’s proposal. He said he was bored with the drama at the company. He wanted to put hardened criminals like Gabi and Ava in prison. Stefan told him that karma would get him. He said it already did because of what happened to his wife. Sloan apologized to Eric for sounding selfish about Nicole’s situation. Eric thought she was right. He didn’t want EJ and Nicole to ruin their happiness. She wanted to think of baby names. Eric wanted to name the baby Sam. She was surprised he wanted to name the baby after his sister. He thought she was the most loyal person he knew. Sloan remembered Sami and Nicole didn’t get along. She wanted to know why. He felt the DiMeras should be back in the drug business. Tripp talked to Belle about representing Ava. She refused to represent her, so he called Justin. Ava took Harris’ keys. Harris told her that she could go home.
