EJ told Stefan that the Salem PD made a drug bust last night. He thought Stefan was involved in the drug bust. Chanel wondered if Paulina got her test results when she and Abe were being quiet. Marlena wanted to know what was going on with John since he’s going through a lot with Brady and Tate. He said Brady and Tate were going through more than he was. Marlena said he got home late last night. She asked him about his client. Ava and Harris met to talk about the drug bust. While they were talking, she flashed back to telling him that Clyde was blackmailing her and Stefan. Harris told Ava he wasn’t going to stop until Clyde paid for what he did. EJ told Stefan that the police wasn’t going to stop until everyone was taken down. He said he wondered if Stefan was going to be the next one arrested for drugs. John told Marlena the meeting was a waste of time. She asked what happened. He said the person never showed up. She thought the client should have told him he wasn’t coming. While John was talking, he started staring into space. Paulina told Chanel that the test showed her nodules got bigger which meant the cancer was more aggressive than they thought. She said she had to get the surgery sooner. When Chanel asked when the surgery was, Johnny showed up. Stefan told EJ that he didn’t help him when he told him about the drugs. EJ said he couldn’t help him because he was going through things in his life. Stefan asked how his reputation would look like. EJ thought he would be the one on top by putting him in jail. Harris told Ava to give him time to get Clyde. Marlena asked if John was okay. He said he wondered if the past ever stayed in the past. She asked what was going on with him. He said Steve was talking about the old times which made him start thinking about the past.

Paulina told Chanel and Johnny when her surgery was. Chanel and Johnny agreed to be there for her. Stefan asked EJ if he was screwed without his help. EJ told him he might have been able to help him if he was CEO of DiMera. He reminded him that he and Gabi stole it from him. Stefan said he offered to give it back to him. EJ said it was too little too late. He was excited about what was happening with Stefan. Marlena told John everything would be okay. Harris told Ava about the drug dealer getting killed. He said they had to move forward. She thought about kissing Stefan. Harris wanted to know what was wrong. She said she made one bad decision after the next. He said to give herself a break. She said he would bail after he found out the mess she made. He said he wasn’t going anywhere. When he walked away, Stefan called Ava. He wanted to talk to her. She said she was with Harris. He said he needed to speak to her and wanted her to meet him at his place. She said she would be there. John asked Marlena how she knew to make him feel better. Marlena complimented him on being the best. She said she loved him the way he was. EJ went to the police station and asked Harris about the drug raid. Harris told him one of the cops killed the dealer in self-defense. Ava went to the DiMera mansion. Stefan asked what the police told her. She told him about the drug bust. Stefan said Harris may know what happened between them last night. While Paulina, Chanel, and Johnny were talking about the wedding, Paulina got a call from the hospital telling her the surgery was on Valentine’s Day. Harris told EJ continued to talk about making Clyde and everyone else involved with the drug bust pay. Ava said Harris didn’t know what happened between them even though people were supposed to think they did. She said Clyde’s henchman was shot at the bust. Stefan said he knew about it. Ava said Clyde was going to be on a warpath. Stefan wanted to know what they were going to do. Chanel and Johnny told Paulina they weren’t getting married without her. Ava told Stefan she had a plan to get them out of their situation with Clyde. Stefan said not to do anything without telling him. She told him to trust her. Harris and EJ continued to talk about Clyde and the drug bust. EJ told Harris to do what he had to do if Stefan was involved. He said Stefan could go in a cell next to Clyde.

Alex ran into Kristen. Kristen mentioned Theresa slipped up. Alex was upset that Brady told her about Theresa. Kristen told him Brady was going to be a part of her life and Theresa’s. Alex said Brady was worried about Tate. Kristen said it wasn’t just about Tate. She asked if he was sure that nothing else was going on between them. Harris was upset that a cop shot the dealer connected to Clyde. When Rafe showed up, Harris told him they needed the dealer. Harris said it was there shot at Clyde. Chad and Everett showed up at the scene. Rafe wanted to know why they were there. Chad said they were getting information. Rafe said the bust wasn’t known and wondered how they got there so fast. Harris told him why he told them about the drug bust. Rafe was upset about him telling them about the deal. While they were talking about it, Chad said they still had to print the story. Rafe gave in and did the interview with Everett. Alex and Kristen continued to argue over Brady. Jada asked one of the cops about Goldman. He told Jada about what happened when she shot the dealer. Chad and Everett went to see Clyde. Clyde wanted to know who Everett was. Alex asked Kristen if she ever thought about getting back together with Brady. She said that ship sailed. He told her to try and get him back.

Rafe told Harris he didn’t like being surprised by the press being at the drug bust. Harris said he had to do it. While they were talking, Harris said Lucas was staying with him. Rafe said he didn’t think that was a smart idea. Chad told Clyde who Everett was and why they were there. Everett told Clyde that he was having a horrible day. Clyde wanted to know what he was talking about. Everett told him about the raid. Chad asked if Clyde had eyes and ears everywhere. Clyde didn’t answer him. Chad told him about the drug raid. He asked Clyde if he knew about it. Everett told Clyde the police got seven kilos of drugs. Clyde said he didn’t know what they were talking about. Chad and Everett told him the police got a couple of million dollars’ worth of drugs. While they were talking, Clyde’s phone started to ring. Chad and Everett said Clyde wasn’t supposed to have a phone. They wanted him to answer the phone. Kristen wanted Alex to admit that he wanted her to be back with Brady to get him out of the way. Alex said he wanted Brady to stay away from Theresa. Kristen warned him that his relationship with Theresa would be over if Brady wasn’t distracted from Theresa. She said she could help him. Jada talked to Goldman about shooting the perp. She told her about shooting someone in Seattle. Rafe came in and told Goldman she did the right thing. Jada told her she wasn’t alone. Clyde wanted to know what Chad and Everett wanted. They told him they wanted to give him a chance to tell his story. Clyde said he was an innocent man. He said he has been a model prisoner ever since he killed Abby. Chad tried to attack Clyde when he provoked him. Everett stopped Chad from going after Clyde. Clyde wanted to know why they were there. Chad said he wanted to see his face when he found out he lost his money. He said he was going to take great satisfaction of exposing Clyde’s drug reign. Kristen told Alex that she would agree to keep Brady away from Theresa. They realized they had to work together to stay on top of it. Alex offered Kristen a job at Titan. She said she would consider it. He told her to offer Brady more visitation rights so it would give her and Brady a chance to bond. Clyde told Chad and Everett to forget what they learned. Chad asked if he was threatening them. Clyde said it was a warning. Chad and Everett told him he was going to pay for what he did. Clyde left them alone. Harris wanted Goldman to go over what happened during the drug bust. He told Rafe they had to get Clyde in a different way. Harris said Clyde was going to want someone to pay when he found out what happened.

John demanded to know what Konstantin wanted from him. He wanted to know why Konstantin wanted to meet him. John demanded that he tell him everything he knew about the pawn. Konstantin told him about Victor and his pawn.  Wendy told Tripp about her conversation with Ava. She told him that Ava basically threatened her. Stefan felt guilt about making love to Ava. He couldn’t believe he cheated on Gabi. Ava reminded him about his role in what happened. He tried to blame her, but she said they were both responsible. Ava told him that they needed to keep what happened a secret. Johnny talked to Chanel about his concerns about them getting married. He didn’t think it would be safe for them to get married. Wendy continued to talk to Tripp about Ava’s conversation. They thought she was trying to get them out of town. Tripp felt like Stefan got Ava mixed up in something. Stefan reminded Ava that he had more to lose than her if the truth came out. She said she had something to lose as well. He reminded her that he’s married. Ava didn’t want Harris to find out about what they did. Konstantin told John about him being a killer. John pulled a gun on Konstantin and told him that he could kill a man. Konstantin told him that a woman could get killed too. John wanted to know what that meant. Konstantin told him that Katarina got in the way when he tried to kill. He said he wanted to show him something and tell him what it meant. Konstantin showed him the card, and John backed up.

Konstantin called out to John, but he didn’t remember his name. He told him that his beautiful Katarina was taken from him. Johnny assured Chanel that he didn’t have second thoughts about the wedding. Chanel told him that she wasn’t afraid of his family. He asked her about Allie. She assured him that she didn’t love her anymore. He couldn’t get past it, and she wondered if he thought she was gay. Tripp and Wendy went home and saw Ava and Stefan together. Tripp demanded that Stefan leave the apartment. He warned Stefan to stay away from his mother. Johnny wondered if he would be enough for Chanel. She assured him that she’s ready to commit herself to him. Chanel didn’t need anyone else. She told him that he protected her even when they weren’t together. Konstantin was able to get John to put his gun to his head. He was ready to pull the trigger. After Stefan left the apartment, Tripp wanted answers from Ava. She refused to talk to him about what happened with him. Konstantin stopped John from shooting himself. He wanted John to do things first. Konstantin let him know that he would go back to his family for now.

Konstantin wanted to know what the pawn card meant. Maggie asked Konstantin about going to dinner with her. He said he didn’t want to go because Xander wasn’t his biggest fan. Stefan wanted to have dinner with Ava. Stephanie went to see Everett. She overheard him saying he was picking Chad up at six in the morning. Stephanie wanted to know where they were going. Brady talked to Marlena about being a bad parent to his children. Theresa showed up so he could sign papers for Tate. They talked about what was going on with Tate. Konstantin agreed to go with Maggie. She said he was going to be in her life. He wanted to know what she meant by that. She said it was time to leave. Stephanie wanted to know where Everett and Chad were going. Everett said they were working on a story. When she was about to leave, he asked if she had any plans. He wanted her to stay with him. While Ava and Stefan were talking to each other, they decided they were friends. Brady asked Theresa how she was doing. Marlena and John wanted to give them time to talk. Theresa asked Brady if they knew she got high.

Xander tried to leave the apartment when Maggie and Konstantin showed up. Maggie convinced Xander to stay. When Maggie left to find Sarah and Victoria, Xander told Konstantin not to hurt Maggie. Konstantin told him that he cared for Maggie and would never hurt her. He said he wasn’t the man he thought he was. Everett and Stephanie reminisced about the past. While they were talking, he told her he meant what he said about loving her. Theresa said she was okay with Brady telling his parents that she got high. They talked about John and Marlena’s relationship. While they were talking about John and Marlena, they talked about their own relationship. Brady said he wished her luck with her relationship. Theresa didn’t believe him. She thought he wished their relationship lasted. While Everett and Stephanie were talking, they kissed each other. Brady told Theresa that he didn’t know if they could have been like his parents. He said they were a hot mess together. She said it wasn’t that bad. He said they were addicted to each other. When she was upset, he said he remembered the good times they had. He said they were different people. While Stefan and Ava were drunk, they made out.

Chad and Everett talked about the drugs and how it was affecting the city. Harris talked to Lucas about the case not going the way he thought it would. He told Lucas he was safe. Lucas said he wished he could believe that. He was afraid Clyde was going to find him and kill him. Theresa needed help with her work. Alex offered to help her, but when Brady showed up, she asked for his help. When Theresa left, Alex was upset about Brady helping her. Theresa was ready to get back to work when she came back. Brady told Theresa what she needed to do. Harris told Lucas to trust that he would do his part. When Harris left, Lucas called Chad. Chad wanted to know where he was. Lucas said he was in Salem. Chad asked if he escaped. Lucas said he didn’t. He said he needed him to meet him at Harris’ place. When Chad got off the phone, he told Everett that they needed to go meet an important person. Brady continued to help Theresa. He told her not to let the stress get to her. She said she was trying not to let it get to her. Harris ran into Marlena at the hospital. He told her how he went to see a perp in the drug case, but it didn’t go as planned. She asked if he wanted to talk about it because she had time. He said he wanted to talk. Lucas didn’t expect Chad to bring Everett with him. Chad said they were working together. Lucas said he had a story for them. Alex ran into Maggie. Maggie said she was worried about Theresa because she seemed guarded. Alex said he was trying his best to be there for her. Maggie said she didn’t think he could. He wanted to know what she meant. She said it took a lot of patience and maturity. He asked if she thought he couldn’t handle it. She said it took a lot of patience and maturity that he didn’t have. He asked if she thought he should break up with Theresa. Maggie said that was what she was saying.

Leo showed up at Eric and Sloan’s apartment. He said the baby looked like Eric. Melinda showed up at the apartment. She asked if Sloan got her texts. Sloan said she didn’t. Leo asked if she was there to see the baby. Melinda asked if Sloan set a date for the christening. Sloan said they didn’t. When Melinda said she was the godmother, Leo said he was the godfather. Maggie told Alex that he needed to leave Theresa alone because he wasn’t committed to her. He said he was committed to Theresa and never wanted to see her in pain. Maggie suggested he find an addict support group so he could support her. Theresa thanked Brady for helping her. They talked about Tate and how he was a good kid who took after them. Lucas told Chad and Everett that he got a beatdown for helping Harris with the drug investigation. Everett asked if he knew who was behind it. Lucas said Clyde was behind it. Harris talked to Marlena about kids getting hooked on drugs. He mentioned Holly being affected by the drugs. Marlena said Holly was in Italy getting the help she needed. While Harris was talking, he brought up Ava being with Stefan. Marlena asked if he still had feelings for Ava. He said he did but he didn’t expect her to move on with Stefan. Harris left Marlena’s office. Eric asked if Leo was Jude”s godfather. Sloan said Leo was joking about Leo being the godfather. Leo asked about the christening. Eric said he wanted to wait until Nicole got back. Melinda was shocked he wanted to wait for her. Eric said Nicole was excited and would want to be at the christening. Melinda didn’t think they needed to wait for Nicole. Harris showed up while Luas was telling Chad and Everett about the drugs. Sloan agreed to wait to have the christening. When Eric and Leo left, Melinda asked Sloan why Leo was in the apartment. Sloan said to torture her. She confessed to not being cut out for motherhood. While they were talking, Melinda warned her not to tell the truth about the baby because they would go to prison. Harris asked Lucas if he wanted to get killed. Lucas said that wasn’t going to happen. Harris said Chad and Everett could tell where he was. Chad said Clyde killed his wife, so he didn’t care about him. Harris wanted them to hold off on the story. He offered to give them a scoop to hold off on the story.

Alex confronted Brady about whether he wanted to kiss Theresa. Jade and Harris talked about his conversation with Ava. She didn’t understand why he kissed Ava. Jade warned him that he had it bad for a woman who is bad news. Xander showed up at the DiMera mansion looking for EJ. Stefan told him that he wasn’t there. He wanted to know why he wanted to talk to EJ. Xander told him that he received a strange phone call. Brady assured Alex that his kiss with Theresa didn’t mean anything. He told him that he should get over his jealousy because he’s going to be around. Johnny asked Chad to marry him and Chanel. Chad didn’t want to bring an innocent person in the family. Johnny reminded him that he married his father and Nicole. Chad informed him that Nicole made the mistake getting in the family. Xander told Stefan about the blocked call he received. Someone wanted him to kill someone. Chad continued to let Johnny know that he should keep Chanel away as far as possible. Brady assured Alex that his interest in Theresa was only because she’s the mother of his son. He felt they could get back to normal now that Tate is getting help. Xander explained the phone call to Stefan. He told Stefan that he wasn’t an assassin for hire. Xander refused to murder anyone. Stefan thought it might be a wrong number, but Xander didn’t agree with that. He said the person knew him by name. Johnny refused to lose Chanel again. He wanted to get married with or without his blessing. Johnny was about to leave when Chad stopped him. Chad explained how it felt losing Abby.

Stefan told Xander that EJ wasn’t the one who called him. Xander reminded him that EJ wanted him to kill before. He wanted an explanation from him. Alex wanted to know if he had to worry about anything else as far as Brady was concerned. He wanted to know what it was like to be married to her. Brady didn’t remember being married to her since they were wasted. Brady wanted to know if he was going to marry Theresa. Brady warned Alex that Theresa has another side to her besides the fun side. He said he’s living proof that you could get sucked into her life. Johnny met with Chanel and told him what Chad said. She couldn’t believe Chad told him that. Chanel didn’t think they should run. She let him know that he wasn’t like his family. Xander assured Stefan that he’s changed. He wasn’t going to throw his life away because he has a family. Xander wanted Stefan to tell EJ that he wouldn’t do it. Stefan told him the DiMeras didn’t order him to kill anyone. Xander refused to kill for the family.

Leo caught Stephanie coming out of Everett’s room. She questioned why he was there. He said he lived in the building. She said it wasn’t his business why she was there, but he thought it was. Johnny told Stefan he was engaged. Stefan didn’t care about his engagement when he couldn’t be with his wife. Johnny asked him if he was with Ava. Stefan told him to mind his business. Stephanie continued to let Leo know what went on with Everett was none of his business. She threatened to get him fired if he continued to pry. He agreed to let it go. When she walked away, he went to Everett’s door. Paulina went to the hospital so Sarah could check on her. When Sarah examined her, she said the lump was still the same. Sarah said she would make sure she could get checked out as soon as possible. Steve talked to Kayla about Konstantin. He said he and John didn’t trust him, and Maggie shouldn’t either. Steve said Konstantin’s history with Victor wasn’t right. Kayla said Maggie was taken with Konstantin at first. Steve said Maggie was still taken with him. He said whenever he and John try to tell Maggie about Konstantin, she shuts them down. Steve said Konstantin was a con man. Kayla thought he should try to sleep. Ava and Wendy talked about Wendy’s relationship with Tripp. Wendy was upset when Ava thought she was using Tripp as a support system. Leo went to see Everett. He asked Everett about Stephanie. Everett took Leo away from his room so they could talk.

Sarah was able to get Paulina an examination room so she could get checked out. She tried to get Paulina to call Chanel so she could support her. Johnny told Stefan that he didn’t know Ava was going to set him off. Stefan told Johnny to stay out of his business. Johnny reminded him about kissing Ava. Stefan told him he would understand things better when he grew up. Wendy wanted to know why Ava was insulting her. Ava said she was being protective of her son. Wendy said she loved Tripp, and he loved her. She said they were going to be together. While they were talking, Wendy noticed Harris calling Ava. Wendy asked if she was in love with Harris or Stefan or both. Stefan told Johnny that he didn’t have a right to judge him. Johnny said he wasn’t judging him. He said he openly kissed Ava in front of his family. Johnny wanted to know why he was doing this to Gabi if he loved her. Stefan said he vowed to be faithful to Gabi. He said he was worried sick about when she was getting out of Statesville. Johnny asked why he was doing this. Stefan said Ava was a beautiful woman and he is alone. Johnny said he hoped he could live with what he was doing. Stefan said he hoped he could too. Leo and Everett talked about Stephanie. Everett said he and Stephanie talked. When Leo jokingly flirted with him, Everett wondered if he used humor to compensate for problems in his life. Chanel and Johnny showed up to be there for Paulina. Johnny called Ava and warned her to stop talking to Harris. While they were talking, he wondered if she was with Harris. They argued over having to flirt with each other.

Kate and Roman saw someone walking in the pub after hours. She wondered who was in there. They looked in the window and saw Harris inside. Kate demanded answers about Lucas. Everett let Stephanie know that he can’t stand the friend zone. It’s not working for him anymore. Steve called out to John, but he didn’t hear him at first. He wondered why John was out at night. Steve came up with an excuse for why he was out late. John knew Marlena sent him to look for him. Steve admitted that he was worried about him. They talked about John’s memories being wiped out. Steve wished he could have some memories wiped out. Kate wanted to know why Harris was at the pub while Lucas was missing. Harris wanted a chance to explain. Everett let Stephanie know that he loves her and can’t live without her. Stephanie was surprised by what he said. He felt like he was obvious about his feelings for her. She said she was clear about her feelings too. He thought she liked spending time with him. Steve told John that he wanted to forget about working for Victor. He also wanted to forget about Konstantin because of his association with Victor. Steve and John felt like Konstantin reminded them of Victor. Harris let Roman and Kate see Lucas. He brought him to the house. Harris said that no one knew about Lucas being out of jail. Lucas knew Roman didn’t want to harbor the man who kidnapped his daughter. Roman was okay him being there.

Stephanie told Everett how she felt when he left her. She struggled wondering what she did wrong. John wanted to know what was going on with Steve. He thought it had something to do with Konstantin. Steve thought Konstantin knew about the pawn. John didn’t believe it. Steve felt they needed to find out if he knew about it. John wanted to know what they were going to do if he knew. Steve said Konstantin taunted him. John said they had to figure out how much he knew. Stephanie wondered why no one looked for Everett when he went missing. He didn’t understand it either. Everett told her that he didn’t respond to emails or phone calls so his boss thought he moved on. She wondered why his family didn’t try to find him. He told her that his memories started coming back. Everett said he world got better and stronger once he regained his memories. His goal was to get back to her. He told her that he still loved her. John arrived at the townhouse and Marlena wondered what happened. Kate let Lucas know that she panicked when she thought Harris couldn’t get him out of prison. Lucas wondered if Harris’ goal was to kidnap him. Roman wanted an explanation so Harris told him what happened. He said Lucas would have to return back to Statesville to serve out the rest of his sentence when the investigation was done. Roman reminded Lucas that he’s Kate’s son and he admired him for helping with the investigation.
