Philip told Gabi that there was something between them, but she wasn’t over her ex. Abby interrupted them so she could take Gabi to lunch. Jack introduced Steve to Gwen. Steve didn’t welcome her. He told her she needed to treat Abby the way she deserved to be treated. When Steve left, Jack asked Gwen what Kayla said. Gwen said she was pregnant. She said she was keeping Chad’s baby. Jake went to Chad to ask him if he heard from Kate. Kristen went to check on Kate. She told Kate that she was going away alone. Kristen said Kate got a text from Jake. Kristen responded to the text. She told Kate she was going to get rid of her. Kate wanted to know why she was going to all of that trouble to get rid of her. Chad told Jake that Gwen was pregnant. Abby told Gabi that she needed to talk to someone. Abby told her Gwen was pregnant and she wanted to keep the baby. Jack was surprised that Gwen wanted to keep her baby. He said it was going to make it difficult for her and Abby to have a good relationship. Gwen said her keeping the baby had nothing to do with Chad and Abby. Chad told Jake that Gwen was definitely pregnant with his child. Jake wondered how Abby was dealing with it. Chad said she was having a hard time. Gwen told Jack that she was keeping the baby because of the way she was raised. He told her he felt guilty about what happened to her. She told him not to feel guilty. Gabi told Abby she felt bad for her. Abby asked if she would help her out. Gabi didn’t know what to do. Abby said Gwen wouldn’t have an abortion. She said she didn’t know how to move on with her life. Gabi told her she didn’t know the answer to that or she would be able to move on from Jake.

Gwen told Jack that she talked to Chad about keeping the baby. Jack asked about Abby. She said she tried to tell Abby how she felt, but she didn’t want to listen to her. She told him that she was going to leave Salem to raise the baby. Chad told Jake that Gwen didn’t want him to be a part of the baby’s life. He said he couldn’t turn his back on the baby. Gabi told Abby what happened when she tried to sleep with Philip. Kristen told Kate that she made it clear that she wasn’t going to give up Jake. She said she would have to take care of the problem. Jake told Chad that Abby’s love for him could withstand a lot. Jake said she understood that he slept with Gwen. He said she would understand the baby. He said he had to find Kate. Kristen pulled out a Kate mask. Kate told her it wasn’t going to work. Kristen said it would work because it always did. She said she would tell Jake that she was leaving Salem. Kate told her she wasn’t going to get away with it. Kristen said she shouldn’t keep Jake waiting. Jake went to see Philip to ask if he saw Kate. Philip said he didn’t see her. Gabi told Abby to go back to her perfect life and get over Chad having a baby with Gwen. Gwen told Jack that she didn’t want Abby to run into her. She said she was going to be showing soon. She said she didn’t think Abby would ever approve of her baby. She said the best thing to do was to create distance between her and Abby. Jack wanted to know where she was going. He told her he couldn’t let her go. He told her to pack her things and move in with him. She asked about Abby. He said it was his problem. He said it would work itself out. Kristen dressed up as Kate and brushed Jake off.

Lucas and Sami were on the phone talking about him lying to Chloe about his brain tumor. Chloe walked in on him while he was talking. He got off the phone. He wanted to know how much she heard. She said she heard enough and wanted him to tell her the truth. Jan went to see Shawn at the police station. She asked if he was working on Belle’s coat. She told him that she pointed out that Belle’s button was missing. She said Belle didn’t notice. She said Belle killed Charlie. Shawn said she didn’t kill Charlie and he was going to prove that she didn’t. He said Melinda needed to drop the charges against her. Melinda said she wasn’t going to drop the charges. Belle told John and Marlena that Sami was the one who killed Charlie. Belle said Sami hated her enough to frame her. Marlena said Sami didn’t hate her. Belle said Sami did hate her. Sami came out and wanted to know what they were talking about. Belle told her that she framed her. When Theo and Ciara were about to leave the hospital, Ben showed up. Chloe said she didn’t understand why Lucas told Sami that he was sick when he didn’t want anyone else to know. He said he wanted to tell Sami. Chloe said he should see her doctor. He said he would think about it. She said she made him an appointment. She said the doctor was waiting for them. Sami told Belle that she didn’t kill Charlie. Melinda and Shawn argued over whether or not Belle killed Charlie. He wanted him off the case. He said he was still going to prove that Belle didn’t do it. When he walked away, Melinda said there was evidence out there and she was going to find it. Nicole went to see Rafe and Ava to talk about Belle’s button being at Charlie’s place. While they were talking, Rafe got a message from Trask. He said he had to go. Ava told Nicole that Rafe kissed her. Ava told Rafe what made him kiss her. Nicole said he shouldn’t have done that. When Rafe showed up at the station, Melinda told him she wanted Shawn off the case. He told her she didn’t have any evidence He said he was going to the crime scene to prove that Belle didn’t kill Charlie. When Rafe left, Jan told Melinda that she would help her get Belle. Belle continued to accuse Sami of framing her. Marlena said Sami couldn’t have killed Charlie because she was on a plane. Sami said she wouldn’t have framed Belle. Sami left to fix another problem. Chloe tried to convince Lucas to go to the doctor. Ben told Ciara he wanted to give her something. She said she didn’t want anything from him. He gave her the engagement ring. She said she didn’t want it. She said she didn’t want anything to remind her that she was insane enough to be in love with him. He said to take it for her father.

Ava wanted to know if Nicole was mad at her. Nicole said Rafe wasn’t the tough guy he wanted people to think he was. Ava said she and Rafe were getting closer. She said he let her stay because they enjoyed each other’s company. Nicole didn’t think he was interested in her. Belle told John and Marlena that she hated that Sami was right. She said if he thought she was the one in the coat the police were going to think it. John said they were going to figure out who framed her. Marlena thought they should keep the information to themselves until the killer was found. Jan told Melinda that she needed to hear what she had to say. She told Melinda that she was in a coma. She said she went to see Marlena and heard John say he saw Belle kill Charlie. Melinda said she heard about the things Jan did and didn’t believe her. Jan said the conversation was recorded. Lucas told Chloe that he couldn’t go to the doctor with her. He said the only reason he said anything was because of Sami. Sami came in and asked if the tumor was affecting his behavior. Chloe told Sami that she wanted to help Lucas. Sami told him she would kill him if he told her the truth. Melinda told Jan it was convenient that she had the recording. Jan said she had the recording. Melinda wanted to get her statement. Jan said John would try to kill her if he knew she made a statement. Melinda said she might not need her statement. Shawn went to John and Marlena’s place to tell them that Melinda took him off the case. Nicole told Ava that she and Rafe have been friends. Nicole said she wanted him to be happy. Ava thought Nicole didn’t she was good enough for him. Ben wanted Ciara to take the washer as a reminder of Bo. John told Shawn that he remembered Belle killing Charlie while he was hypnotized. Shawn told Belle that he didn’t have to report what he heard because he was off the case. Rafe told Melinda that there was no evidence against Belle. Melinda told him there was new evidence. He told Theo he would stay away from Ciara if he didn’t take her to South Africa. Theo said it wasn’t about him. Ben told him he loved Ciara. Theo said it was her choice and he wasn’t talking her out of it. Ben told him to give him a few days to wrap his head around it. He asked Theo to give him a few days. Shawn told Ciara that he found Hope in Morocco. He said she was happy about Ciara being home. He said she was going to be in Salem tomorrow. John was upset that he remembered Belle killing Charlie. Marlena said he remembered a few details. He said he saw her kill Charlie. Belle told Claire that she didn’t kill Charlie. Claire asked how a button from her coat got there. Jan ran into Nicole. They talked about Belle killing Charlie. Nicole said Belle wouldn’t kill anyone. Jan said Belle made sure Charlie wouldn’t hurt anyone again. Nicole said she didn’t approve of murder. Gabi told Philip that she wanted to have sex with him. Chanel told Paulina that Xander was going to give her half of what she was going to give him. Paulina said she was trying to scam her. Chanel said she married Xander so he could be her meal ticket. Paulina decided to rip up the check. Chanel wanted to know what she was doing. She said she was going to be stuck with Xander. Xander met with Chanel at Julie’s Place. They were excited about the big pay day they were getting from her mother. Paulina showed up and wanted to know how much he wanted. He said he wanted ten million dollars. She laughed in his face. She didn’t want him with her daughter, but she couldn’t afford it. Xander didn’t believe her. Chanel asked her to give him the money so she could end her marriage. Paulina told her it wasn’t her fault she ended up with him and not a rich man. He tried to negotiate with Paulina. Chanel pleaded with her to let get out of her marriage. Xander agreed to lower his price to one million dollars. Paulina finally agreed to write him a check. He noticed the check wasn’t the million he wanted. She told him that he didn’t deserve what she gave him. He had to take it or leave it. He agreed to take it. Chanel didn’t understand what he did accepting one hundred thousand dollars. She said they had to split that in half. Paulina wanted to know what she meant.

Kristen went to warn Kate that she had a premonition about her being in danger. She said she had to get out of town. Kate said she was already leaving town with Jake. She said that Kate shouldn’t go with him because he was after her. She told him to get far away from Jake. Kate wanted her to leave. She warned Kate again, but her real voice slipped out. Brady wanted “Susan” to watch Rachel while he went to see Vivian. She wanted to know why he wanted to see her. He said Vivian had something to tell him. She told him that she couldn’t watch Rachel because she had something to do. Chloe saw Brady and wanted to let him know she was willing to quit. She didn’t want to make things uncomfortable. She apologized for misreading his signals. He let her know that he did have feelings for her. He wanted to deny them, but the feelings were getting stronger. She wanted to know if he wanted to be with her. He let her know that he couldn’t forget about what he had with Kristen. She understood but she felt like she should quit. Brady didn’t want her to do that and said he would work at the office.

Kristen went to see Vivian at the prison. Vivian told her that she was going to tell Brady the truth because she didn’t break up Jake and Kate’s relationship. Kristen wanted more time to make the plan work. She warned Vivian not to threaten her because she took care of the last person who threatened to expose her. Claire told Ben that Ciara hated her now. She said the more they pushed her the more upset Ciara gets. She said they needed to back off. He said he couldn’t do that. She said Ciara would be out of the hospital in a couple of days and would remember her life. He asked what would happen if Theo got in the way. She said she would talk to him. She told him to give Ciara space. He said he wanted to apologize to Ciara. Claire told him he was doing the right thing. Abby walked in while Chad and Gwen were talking. She said she knew Gwen was pregnant and keeping the baby. She asked Gwen if she wanted to make peace with her. She said she wanted to believe her, but she should have known that she would keep the baby and use it to remind her what she’s taken from her. Chad said that wasn’t the way it was. Chanel told Lani that she shouldn’t have married Xander. She said she had to focus on what she wanted no matter what it took. She told Lani that Xander wouldn’t divorce her without money. Lani said that was the Xander they knew and remember. Chanel said she didn’t want to crawl to her mother and ask her for money. Lani said she would talk to Paulina for her. Jack went to see Steve to get his advice about getting his daughters to get along. Steve didn’t think that would ever happen. He advised Jack not to rush things between Abby and Gwen. He thought they could work things out the way the two of them did. Chad wanted answers about Gwen’s pregnancy. He wanted to know if she was really pregnant. She let him know that Gwen planned on seeing Kayla to find out for sure. She admitted that she told Gwen to have an abortion. She wanted to know if he wanted Gwen to have their child. He told her that he didn’t want a child with Gwen, but he couldn’t decide what she should do. Abby wasn’t happy with that response. She warned him that they would be destroyed if Gwen had the baby. She knew he wouldn’t abandon his child regardless of how it was conceived and Gwen knew that too. She told him that Gwen found the perfect way to ruin them. She ran off crying. Gwen went to see Kayla to find out if she was pregnant. She tried to justify what she did to Kayla. She didn’t think Abby would forgive her if she were pregnant. She let Kayla know that Abby wanted her to get an abortion. Kayla wondered if she wanted that. Gwen wasn’t sure if she did or not. She thought there was a chance she wasn’t pregnant. Kayla got a call about Gwen’s test. She told Gwen that she was pregnant. Gwen hoped that she wasn’t pregnant. Kayla told her that she was in her second trimester and wanted to do a sonogram. Gwen wanted her to hide the screen because she might not have the baby. Kayla told her that she was 15 weeks pregnant and that everything looked normal. She couldn’t tell what she was having. Gwen changed her mind and decided to look after all.

Abby arrived at the hospital after Gwen left. She saw Kayla and wanted to know if Gwen was pregnant. Gwen went to the DiMera mansion and let Chad know that she was pregnant with his child. She told him that she planned on keeping the baby. Paulina went to visit Chanel. She didn’t want to see her and slammed the door in her face. She found Xander. He thought she left. Claire wanted to know why Jan wasn’t going to jail. She wanted to know if Jan did something to Belle. Jan told her that Belle made the deal with her in order to keep John from going to jail. Claire thought Jan should go to jail and didn’t believe Belle made the deal with her. Jan showed her the proof that Belle did make the deal with her. She said she didn’t hate Belle anymore. She also said she didn’t want to be with Shawn anymore. Jan thought she should be glad that Charlie was out of her life for good. Claire reminded her that she didn’t sign anything to keep her from going to jail. John was still under hypnosis so Marlena questioned him about what he saw. John remembered opening Charlie’s door and seeing someone in a red coat shooting him. He was in agony so Marlena asked him what he saw. He said something about camp a so she brought him out of hypnosis. John couldn’t believe he saw Charlie get murdered. She wanted to know who shot Charlie. He told her it was Belle who did it. He told her how she was wearing the red coat they gave her for Valentine’s Day. Marlena didn’t believe Belle would do it. John reminded her how she caught Charlie trying to kill Claire. He said that Belle was upset after what he did. He asked her if she remembered what Belle wore the night Charlie died. She realized Belle was wearing the red coat. John couldn’t believe Belle killed Charlie. Marlena was convinced she didn’t do it. She wanted to find Belle so they could get some answers. Jan walked in and asked why they needed answers. Jan talked to John and Marlena about the good news. They already knew about the deal Belle made with her. She knew they wanted her to go to jail. John told her to leave. She assured them that she wasn’t a threat to Belle and Shawn anymore. She said she was just with Claire and found out about Charlie. She knew they were on the same page about Charlie’s death. She figured they were happy that he was killed. Marlena let her know that they were thrilled that Belle made the deal with her. They were done talking to her, but she went back to Marlena’s office. She found her recorder and wondered what they discussed. Belle talked to Rafe and Shawn about the button from her coat. She didn’t know what happened to the button. Rafe said he had the button. He let them know that they had the button with the evidence found in his apartment. Rafe wanted to know why she was at Charlie’s apartment. She told him that she never went to Charlie’s apartment before so she didn’t know why the button was there. Trask arrived and took the coat and the button. She was surprised he solved the case so quickly. Trask wanted him to arrest Belle. Shawn said that the jacket wasn’t proof Belle did anything. He thought Trask was just trying to keep her job.

Trask informed Shawn that Belle had a restraining order against Charlie. She thought Belle still considered Charlie a threat to her daughter. Trask was convinced the case was open and shut. She asked Belle if she had an alibi for the night of the murder. Belle told her that she was at home all night. She said Shawn was with her and only left for a short time. Trask explained how Belle could have committed the crime. Belle insisted she was innocent. Trask told her that she had the opportunity to kill him. She wanted Rafe and Shawn to do their job or else. Shawn wouldn’t let Rafe arrest Belle. Trask told him that it wasn’t his decision to make. Allie went to see Claire. Claire told her about Belle making the deal with Jan. Allie wanted to give her some time to process what happened. Claire was glad that John wouldn’t go to jail. John and Marlena arrived to talk to Belle. Allie left so they were alone with Claire. They talked to her about why they wanted to see Belle. She thought they were there because of the deal Belle made with Jan. She told them Belle wasn’t home. Marlena called Shawn and he told them the news about Belle being arrested for killing Charlie. Rafe read Belle her rights. Shawn watched everything unfolding in disbelief. Jan listened to Marlena’s recording. She heard John talking about the person in the red coat shooting Charlie. There was a shot of the person shooting Charlie. The camera panned to the person wearing the red coat. It turned out to be Jan wearing the coat. She smiled to herself as she remembered shooting Charlie.

Marlena let John know that Belle made a deal with Jan. John was upset because he didn’t want her to be free to go after his family. They changed the subject and talked about Charlie’s murder. He wanted Marlena to hypnotize him. He wanted to remember what he did the night Charlie died. She didn’t want to do it, but she agreed to do it. She hoped she wouldn’t regret it. He wanted Marlena to record their session. She wanted it to be off the record, but he insisted she record the session. She pressed record so John started talking about what happened that night. He walked in the apartment and heard Charlie tell someone not to shoot him. He heard the gun go off at that point. He saw Charlie fall on the floor. He noticed someone wearing a red hooded coat. The person had the hood on their head. He came oit of hypnosis and didn’t like what he remembered. Claire went to see Jan at the hospital. She returned her healing crystals to her. She wanted Jan to rot in prison after what she did to her mother. Claire was about to leave when Jan stopped her. She apologized for what she did. She revealed to Claire that she was lonely. She told her that she was all she had. Jan thought she was replaced with Ciara. Claire let her know that Ciara hated her. Jan asked her if she wanted to be friends with her again. She reminded her how she helped her with Charlie. Claire told her how Charlie was a rapist and he died. Jan was shocked. She confessed that she was raped when she was younger. Claire was shocked by her news. Jan thought Charlie’s killer deserved a medal. Jan let her know that Belle was the reason why she wasn’t going to prison.

Belle met with Shawn at the police station. She told him about the deal she made with Jan. He was afraid Jan would try to get to Claire now. Shawn was going to arrest Jan anyway. She told him that her father would go to jail too. He didn’t want to worry about Jan coming after them. Trask went to see Rafe. She wanted him to solve Charlie’s murder. He told her that he would solve it. She wasn’t happy about the way he was handling the suspects. They went over the evidence in the case. He found a red button that wasn’t with the evidence before. Trask thought they would find the killer once they found the owner of the jacket. After Rafe talked to Trask, he saw Shawn and Belle. They told her about the deal Belle made with Jan. Rafe understood why she made the deal. He wished she talked to him before she made the deal. Belle put on her coat and Rafe noticed the missing button. She said Jan told her about the missing button. He took the button out of the evidence bag. He let them know that the button was found at Charlie’s apartment.

She told Justin that she hated Ben and didn’t want anything to do with him. She was upset that so many people thought it was okay that she was with Ben. Theo talked to Chad about Ciara not remembering Ben. Chad and Theo talked about Ben not being a good guy. Abby didn’t believe that Gwen was pregnant with Chad’s baby. Gwen understood why Abby didn’t believe her after everything she did to her. Gwen said she was trying to make amends with her. She said she wanted to move on and have a relationship with her. Abby told Gwen she should terminate the pregnancy since she didn’t want to have Chad’s baby. Jack said they should calm down. Abby said Gwen wanted to make amends. She said she would take her to the office. She said they would take care of the problem right now. Theo told Chad that he wanted to be with Ciara, but she was still married. Justin told Ciara that by the time she and Ben got engaged, he thought they were in love. She thought he should have said something because Ben was a killer. Justin told her that Ben turned his life around. She said he couldn’t turn his life around after murdering three people. Jake told Ben that he had the serum and didn’t have any side effects. Jake told him he would make a call and find out how Kate got her hands on Will’s drug. Gabi told Philip that Jake didn’t appreciate what a woman like her had to offer. She said she wasn’t used to getting dumped. She said she gave Jake a chance to make a choice, but he chose Kate. She said she wanted to get past her feelings. Philip said the only way to get past an old relationship was to start a new one. He said they would be good together. He said they were age appropriate. She thought dinner was too much pressure. She asked him to go to lunch with her. He agreed to go. Ben asked Jake how he was supposed to convince Ciara to take the serum. He said Ciara hated him and didn’t want him to be near her. Jake said he had to figure it out himself. Ben said he tried the hypnosis. Jake said that didn’t work. Ben said he didn’t want Ciara to get hurt. Jake said he had his back no matter what he did. Ben told Jake to call Kate. Abby told Gwen that she would make the call to the clinic. Jack said it was hard for Gwen to take in. Abby said Gwen was pregnant with her husband’s baby and it was hard for her to take in. Abby said the only thing to take away the horror was to end the pregnancy. Abby told her she better do it. Jack told Gwen that it was her decision to make. He said Abby didn’t have the right to make the decision. Abby went to the DiMera mansion and told Chad that Gwen was pregnant with his child. Gwen told Jack that the baby she was having was her decision. She said Abby thought it was her decision. He said Abby was upset. He said to give her a chance to calm down and she would realize that it wasn’t her choice. He said if she did decide to terminate the pregnancy, he would be there to support her. He asked her if she wanted to have the baby.

She was about to tell him something when Nicole called him to come to the office. Brady left to meet Nicole. Kristen was upset.
