Kristen thought Brady was at the door and saw Eli. Lani told Tripp there were some allegations against him. Claire saw Allie crying and thought she knew about Ciara being killed. She was shocked about Ciara. Claire wanted to know why she was crying. Eli told Kristen about Melinda wanting to go after Lani. Kristen apologized for getting Lani involved. He didn’t care. He wanted to know what he was going to do to help Lani. Lani wanted Tripp to go to the station with her to tell his side of the story. Steve was upset, but Tripp was willing to go because he didn’t do anything wrong. Allie told Claire how she was raped. Philip wondered if Xander was the one who talked Jan into having him arrested. Xander admitted that he might have suggested she go to the police. They were about to come to blows when Xander knocked coffee on the new intern Charlie. Kristen didn’t want to get Lani to get in trouble. She was going to do what she could to keep her out of it. Lani let Tripp that Allie accused him of rape. Allie told Claire how Tripp raped her.

Steve saw Justin talking with Bonnie and got upset. Justin wanted him to calm down. Steve let him know what happened with Tripp. Tripp told Lani his side of what happened with Allie. Lani told him how Allie remembered what he did to her. Claire was shocked to hear Allie’s allegation. Allie told her how Tripp took advantage of her while she was drunk. Allie wanted to know if Claire thought Tripp was capable of rape. Eli wanted Kristen to tell her role in what happened to Victor. Kristen told him how Victor got away with what he did, but she didn’t want Lani to be punished for what she did. She asked him if she could have some time alone. He left her room and checked to make sure his phone recorded her confessing to what she did to Victor. Steve put Bonnie on notice for what happened to Adrienne. She let him know how she donated money for Adrienne’s charity. Justin showed up to represent Tripp. He wanted Lani out so he could talk to Tripp. Allie wanted to know how Tripp was when Claire was with him. She said he wasn’t rough with her. She told her how Tripp framed Ben for what he did. She felt bad for telling her. Allie reminded her how Tripp raped her. Claire told her how he was when he first came to Salem. Tripp told Justin nothing happened with Allie. He wanted to leave. Eli was listening to Kristen’s confession when Lani came home. He lied to her about Melinda going after her.

Vincent told Hope and Ben what happened to Ciara. He explained to them how he was confused about who Ciara was and he shot her. Melinda talked to Eli about going after Kristen instead of Lani, but he had to help her out. Tripp let Steve know he didn’t have sex with Allie so he couldn’t be the father of her baby. Meanwhile, Allie talked to Lani about Tripp being the person who raped her. Tripp and Allie continued to tell their sides of how they met each other. Lani told Allie how her rape happened outside of Salem. Allie was afraid he would get away with what he did. Melinda reminded Eli about what happened in the footage. She told him how she could prove he knew Lani didn’t do anything to arrest Kristen. Hope was devastated when Vincent said he shot Ciara. Ben yanked him out of the chair and believed he was lying. Melinda warned him what Lani could lose. She didn’t want to put Lani away. She wanted to go after Kristen. Vincent blamed Ben for why he shot Ciara. Hope didn’t want to hear another word from him. Vincent said he didn’t want to take Hope’s daughter, but she didn’t want to hear it. She arrested him. Vincent said Ciara’s blood was on his hands.

Hope called Shawn and told him what Vincent said. Ben believed Vincent lied to torture him. He believed Vincent still had him. Lani told Allie she believed her. She was about to leave when Allie told her she remembered saying no to Tripp. Eli told Melinda how Victor was the only one who could prove what Kristen did. He wanted to know how he could get a confession. She didn’t care. She wanted him to find a way or his kids wouldn’t have their mother. Lani showed up at Steve’s place to see Tripp. Eli told her how Lani sees a side no one else sees. Melinda reminded him how Kristen hurts people. She said he would be doing Lani a favor if he destroyed their friendship. Hope found the gun Vincent put on the ground. She said there’s a bullet missing from the gun. She checked the forensics report to see if there was a bullet hole in the car. She saw it in the report. Ben wanted to know if Vincent was telling the truth. Steve wanted to know why Lani was at his place. She wanted to talk to Tripp at the station. Melinda informed Eli that it was up to him if he wanted Lani to go down with Kristen. Ben said he and Hope didn’t know if he shot Ciara. Ben was ready to kill Vincent since he had nothing to live for anymore.

Lani gave Melinda the footage she wanted to see. Eli wanted to know if she erased it. Allie was about to leave, but Nicole wanted to finish talking about how she got pregnant. She said she had a one-night stand and got pregnant. She didn’t think it was important. She said it was over, but Nicole wondered if it really was over. Melinda wanted to watch the footage. Nicole continued to talk to Allie about Tripp. Allie was sure she would get over it. Steve talked to Kayla about Tripp knowing Allie. Hope brought Vincent to the station. Ben showed up and threatened to kill him if he didn’t tell them where to find Ciara. Eli wanted Ben and Hope to leave so they didn’t jeopardize the case. Melinda wanted to talk to Eli about why she shouldn’t charge Lani with obstruction of justice. Kayla asked Steve if Tripp’s the father of Allie’s baby. Allie explained how she got drunk and ended up pregnant and that was why she wanted Nicole and Eric to raise the baby. Nicole didn’t want her to beat herself up about it. Allie remembered that Tripp was on top of her.

Nicole told Allie how she didn’t give her consent to being with Tripp. Allie wanted to know how she knew she didn’t consent to it. Steve wasn’t sure if Tripp’s the father of the baby. She wanted to know if he asked him, but Tripp didn’t answer him. Tripp and Roman talked about Allie’s baby when Hope and Ben showed up. Roman asked if they caught Vincent. Lani tried to reason with him, by telling him how he was hurting Hope and the other people who love Ciara. Eli didn’t know what Melinda meant. Melinda showed him the footage. He lied about what they saw. She thought Lani was helping Kristen escape. Melinda told Eli how he didn’t arrest Kristen after Lani helped her leave. Lani told Vincent how he needed to give Hope closure and how he would spend his life in prison. She said Wendy wouldn’t want him to do what he did. Hope talked to Roman about wanting Ciara back. Allie had another memory about he night she was with Tripp. She said a hand was holding her down. She said she told him no. Melinda continued to paint a picture for Eli about what Kristen and Lani did. She thought the footage would put Lani away for years. She wanted to give him one last chance to save Lani. Steve asked Tripp if he’s the father of Allie’s baby. Nicole wanted Allie to go to the police if she said no. She said he was Steve’s son. Nicole told her she said no and that was all she needed to remember. Melinda wanted undeniable proof Kristen was guilty and he would drop the case against Lani. Tripp told Steve he wasn’t the father of the baby because he never slept with Allie. Allie talked to Lani about Tripp raping her.

Kate tried to look through Jake’s things, but she got busted. She had to come up with an excuse for looking. He found the dress for her, but she noticed his suit. Eli warned Lani how Melinda was closing in on Kristen. He showed her the video footage of Lani helping Kristen leave the station. She was worried about the footage. He told her how he had to turn the footage over to Melinda. Abe was concerned with whether Melinda could be impartial with Kristen’s case. He felt bad for her because of her loss. Melinda got upset because Kristen always got away with her crimes. She wanted to put a stop to it. He thought she should recuse herself from the situation. Lani didn’t think the evidence was too bad until she watched the footage again. Abby appreciated Gwen being willing to be a nanny to her children. Chad was concerned they didn’t know much about her. She said there wasn’t much to know. He didn’t agree and wanted her to tell them about herself. She was about to tell them about herself when Kate interrupted them. Abby took Gwen to the kids. Kate asked Chad if it was a good idea to have Gwen take care of the kids. He explained why and then they talked about Jake. Jake walked in the room. Melinda had no intention of recusing herself from the case. She said she would be professional. She wanted to know why Abe would bring her back if he thought she couldn’t be professional.

Eli wanted Lani to tell Abe the truth that she helped Kristen. She didn’t want to tell Abe because he would be disappointed in her. She felt like she would be in Melinda’s line of fire unless she never saw the footage. Jake didn’t understand why Chad didn’t give him the head’s up about the Collins deal being done. Chad let him know he didn’t want to work with him. Eli warned Lani he stalled her as long as he could. She said there was other footage she could see. He wanted to know if she was asking him to delete the footage. Abe wondered if Melinda could get an ADA to take over the case. She said she would still be over the case. She said she would do her job and would be fair. He told her how Lani and Kristen were friends. She didn’t know they were friends. Lani said Eli did enough and wanted him to go to his desk. He wanted to know what he meant. She wanted to make sure his hands were clean. Jake warned Abby to watch out for Gwen. Gwen overheard Jake talking about her to Abby. Jake said she only wanted what was best for Gwen. Abby tried to defend her. Abe told Melinda how Lani and Kristen were there for each other. He wanted her to keep her personal feelings out of the case. She said she would do it. Eli couldn’t believe Lani wanted him to destroy the evidence. She couldn’t go to prison and wanted to protect the children. He wanted to do it together.

Belle arrived and saw Kristen talking to Claire. She was upset to see her with Claire. Ben ended up meeting up with Hope. He told her how Claire told him how she thought Ciara was alive. Philip didn’t understand how Shawn could have arrested him when Jan was still out there. Shawn told him what happened and warned him to keep quiet. Philip said he was trying to defend his family, but Shawn said he would do it himself. Belle threatened Jan, but she warned her not to do it. She said she had Philip arrested for assault. Belle didn’t think anyone would be stupid enough to believe her. She informed her how Shawn was the one who arrested Philip. Sarah was upset with Xander for being the reason why Jan had Philip arrested. Hope told Ben about going after Ciara. She asked him if she remembered anything to indicate if Ciara was in the car before the explosion. He told her how he never saw her body or heard her. She knew there was still hope Ciara could be alive. Kristen wanted to go on the run with Brady. He didn’t want to go on the run. She couldn’t risk losing Rachel. She wanted to go far away. He refused to let her do it. Belle couldn’t believe Jan had Philip arrested. Jan wanted to feel safe and wondered if she knew a good lawyer. Belle didn’t want to talk to Jan anymore. Xander stood up to Sarah when she lectured him about Philip. Philip wondered if Shawn had a personal reason for arresting him. He thought it was because he found him with Belle. Belle showed up at the station and agreed to be in Salem.

Sarah put Xander on notice and warned him it would be over if he went back to her old ways. Brady reminded Kristen if she left, she could never come back. She would be a fugitive. She said it would be better than being a fugitive. She wanted to know if he was worried about Belle. He was worried about what it would do to them. Belle told Shawn how she ran into Jan and she told her about it. Belle wanted him to talk to Claire while she helped Philip. Shawn wanted Claire to stay away from Jan. Brady continued to convince Kristen not to go on the run. Xander wanted to do whatever he could to make her happy. Shawn didn’t understand why Claire would believe what she said. She said Jan threatened her. Philip told Belle he thought Shawn still had something against him and it explained his arrest. Claire didn’t think it was right for Shawn to blame Jan for the attack. He told her how she was a better person than Jan. Hope got a lead on Vincent. She said she knew where to find him. Brady wanted to go on the run with Kristen if she decided to go. Xander said he would make what he did right. Belle told Philip how they needed to stick together because Jan’s targeting them. She said Jan was trying to get to her through Claire. Hope and Ben found Vincent and they demanded he tell them where to find Ciara. Kristen decided not to go on the run. Shawn was ready to go out to dinner with Belle, but she had to help Philip. Vincent refused to answer any questions without an attorney. She put the handcuffs on him.

Victor talked to Shawn about Ciara. Shawn told him how Ciara might not be dead after all. He said Hope was off looking for her. Allie told Nicole about running into Tripp. Nicole thought he was Steve’s son. She didn’t think it was possible for him to be Steve’s son. Nicole looked him up so Allie saw his picture. She realized he was Steve’s son. Steve and Tripp had a similar conversation about Allie. Steve wondered if he was the father of her baby. Jan and Xander talked on the phone about her pressing charges against Philip. She thought Philip would rush to get Belle as his attorney. Claire talked to Steve and Tripp about a memorial for Ciara. Tripp wondered if they needed one since Ciara might be alive. Steve was shocked. Jan went to the station and told Shawn she was sorry for his loss. He didn’t believe her. She told him how she had a way for him to get back at Philip. Philip hoped Maggie wasn’t Team Xander. She explained how Xander was there for her when she was at her lowest.

She told him that she didn’t care about the stabbing. She only cared about what happened to Haley. He wanted to know what she wanted to do. She wanted him to fire her. Brady tried to talk Melinda out of going after Kristen, but she didn’t want to hear it. She was going to get the proof she needed to nail her. Melinda walked away and talked to Eli. Tripp didn’t understand why Allie hit him. She didn’t believe he didn’t know. She thought he was a jerk and was about to walk away, but he stopped her. Abe didn’t think he could fire Melinda because Lani didn’t like it. She explained why he could do it. Abe felt Kristen should be convicted if she’s guilty. Melinda asked Eli questions about Kristen’s case and noticed holes in it. Kate and Nicole talked about Allie’s custody situation. Nicole told Kate how Allie reacted when she asked about the father. She asked him for another dose to drug Abby, but he told her that he couldn’t do it. Sami reminded Nicole that she still had custody of the baby so she better not try anything. Steve checked on John at the hospital. He told John that Marlena was with Ben. John didn’t understand why Marlena would be him after he tried ti kill Will. Steve explained how compassionate she is. John thought he was after her. John reminded him how he wanted Marlena in the past. Steve told him how Rolf messed with his mind. John said sorry and believed something was wrong with him. Steve tried to make him feel better. Ben had a nightmare about the explosion and called out Ciara’s name. Marlena tried to comfort him. He felt like he failed Ciara when she needed him. He said she was the best thing that happened to him. He didn’t know how he could live without her. She said it will be hard, but he could get through it. He cried and thanked her for helping him. He asked her about John. She let him think he was fine.

Abby saw Chad in a picture with a woman. The woman in the picture was the previous Abby. Chad let her know he was in the picture with her. She looked at it again and saw her face in the picture. He asked her if she was hallucinating again. She thought it was possible, but assured him she was okay. She said her medications make the hallucinations manageable. He asked her if she was mad about him kissing Gwen. He assured her that he loved her. Gwen thought about drugging Abby. She said Abby was going to have a bad day. Jack and Jennifer had a bad day. She made comments about Abby until they left. Chad and Abby walked in and she offered them a cup of coffee. Chad told her Abby couldn’t have it because of her medication. Chad was going to drink it, but she stopped him from drinking it.

Brady told Kristen he was going to confess to trying to kill Victor. Kristen was upset that he wanted to do that without talking to her. He said he wanted her to be there for Rachel. She wanted him to be there for her too. Sami almost had Allie convinced that she was taking the baby to Marlena’s place, but Kate told her what she really wanted to do. Allie went off on her. Allie mentioned Eric leaving town so Sami wanted to go after him. She was going to take the baby, but Allie told her she couldn’t. Belle arrived and told Brady that the DA retired and wasn’t the one working on Kristen’s case. Melinda walked in the room and said she was the one working on it. Belle said she refused to accept the plea or Brady’s confession. Sami arrived at Eric’s place. She couldn’t believe he was going to leave without saying goodbye to her. He said it and slammed the door in her face. She was determined to get in the apartment. They talked about the custody case. He advised her to work things out with Allie or she would lose her daughter. Kate tried to get Allie to look at the baby, but she didn’t want to do it. Kate asked why she wanted to run away so Allie explained how she didn’t want to screw up his life.

Sami didn’t think Allie was ready to have custody of her baby. Eric had another idea, but Sami had to get over herself. Kristen begged Melinda not to take what she did out on Brady. She had no intention of doing that to him. She wanted to deal with her. Brady tried to threaten her, but it didn’t work. She was ready to see her in court. Eric continued to convince Sami to go along with his plan so she wouldn’t lose her daughter forever. Sami was finally willing to compromise. Sami thought Allie had to agree to the plan. Eric and Nicole thought she would. Sami wanted to know how long Eric would be gone. He told her and they said they loved each other. Brady thought what was going on with Melinda was unfair. Belle warned him that the justice system was unfair. Kristen said she wanted a child her entire life. She accepted that she had to say goodbye for a long time. Allie told Sami that Justin was getting a restraining order against her to keep her from taking the baby to Italy. Sami told her about the arrangement. She would let Nicole have custody of the baby if Allie lived with her.

She told him to let them know when Belle was there. He left the interrogation room. Lani told Kristen that she didn’t think she could forgive Eli. Kristen told her she should. Lani said he put his job before her. Kristen said she put her before him. Kristen suggested that she listen to him. Brady asked Victor if he could back up his story that he stabbed him and not Kristen. Victor didn’t think the police would believe the story. Victor didn’t want Kristen to be free. Brady wasn’t interested in what Victor wanted. Brady said he was going to confess and get a deal. Victor agreed to talk to the police. Marlena and Belle talked about what John did to Sami. Belle thought it was funny, but Marlena didn’t. Marlena said John was losing control. Eric showed up while they were talking. Roman showed up too. Eric told everyone he was leaving Salem. They wanted to know if he talked to Sami and Brady. Eric said Brady was busy with Kristen. Eric didn’t want to see Sami. They tried to convince him to tell her goodbye.

Nicole told her Eric was leaving so she would be the one raising the baby. Nicole wanted to talk to Eric about it. Allie asked her to raise the baby by herself. Sami talked to the baby about her plan to get Allie to fall in love with him and move to Rome. Kate walked in and was glad to see the baby. Kate thought Sami was trying to manipulate Allie. Belle didn’t want to talk to Shawn with Philip around. Philip offered to help since he doesn’t have to follow the law. He told them that he threatened her. Sarah explained who Jan was to Xander. Nicole wanted to do the right thing by telling Eric to go to Africa. She wanted him to do it for her. Allie was going to take her baby to Eric and Nicole’s place. Sami told her that she couldn’t because she’s not the guardian. Allie was going to do it anyway.

Nicole continued to convince Eric to go to Africa. She wanted him to help people. Marlena reminded Claire about the terrible things Jan’s done. Claire said that she did terrible things too. Claire defended Jan to her. Belle talked to Shawn about being worried about Claire bonding with Jan. Shawn couldn’t believe Claire defended Jan. Belle was scared for Claire. Marlena wanted Claire to stay away from Jan. Sami suggested that Allie go back to Rome with her. She would help her raise her baby. Allie thought she wanted that all along. Shawn assured Belle that he wouldn’t let anything happen to Claire. Belle was afraid something did. Jan ran into Claire and apologized for not telling her who she was in the first place. Sami was okay with it if Allie hated her, but she insisted she see her baby. Shawn thought he and Belle should let Philip kill Jan. Jan advised Claire not to talk to her in public. She would understand if she didn’t do it. Allie told Sami she thought about the list of things she got away with until now. She was going to the judge the next day.

He asked her if she knew how sick of her he was. He called her a nasty b*tch. She told him that she hoped her have a blood clot in his cold, dark heart. Marlena came in and told Sami to leave. Marlena told John that she didn’t believe Sami’s side of the story. Marlena didn’t believe that he would resort to calling her names. He admitted it. He wasn’t sure if it had to do with his condition. He said he said things to Sami that he would have never said to anyone. He wanted to know what was wrong with him. She said it was nothing to worry about. Belle was upset to find Jan with Claire. Claire wanted to know why Belle was mean to her friend. Belle said she wasn’t her friend. She said it was Jan Spears. Jan said she stopped by to offer her condolences. Belle knocked the flowers out of Jan’s hand. Belle didn’t believe Jan changed. Jan said people with mental illness could change.

Belle threatened to get a restraining order and pushed Jan out of the house. Claire asked if she thought Jan reached out to her because they were both crazy. Claire said she was doing well because Ciara gave her another chance. Lucas had trouble entertaining Allie’s baby. Nicole came in and offered to help him. She was able to control the baby. Sami came in and was furious that Nicole was holding the baby. Nicole ripped into Sami for taking the baby from Eric. When Nicole left, Sami told Lucas she was taking the baby and leaving town. While she was on the phone making the arrangements, Allie walked in and told Sami that she wasn’t taking her baby. Philip ran into Jan. He warned her to stay away from Belle. Xander was eavesdropping on them. Philip threatened to take care of Jan permanently if she didn’t stay away from Belle or her family. When he left, Xander introduced himself to Jan. Philip went to see Belle. He let her know he was going to protect her and Claire from Jan. They hugged each other.

She warned him that he could be arrested for aiding and abetting depending on what Kristen told the police. Brady went to the police station. He and Kristen planned on how they were going to fix her situation. He told her that Belle was thinking about representing her. Kristen said she forgot people hated her. She said no one would side with her. Abe comforted Hope. He wanted her to take a break, but she wanted to make Vincent pay for what he did to Ciara. Victor told Maggie that he wanted to get revenge. He blamed Ben for what happened. She saw Victor with a gun. He wanted to go to the hospital and kill Ben. She said he couldn’t go in the hospital with a gun. He said she was right. He said he would hire someone. Maggie tried to talk Victor out of killing Ben. He was upset that he didn’t kill him when he had the chance. He said he failed Ciara. Lani hoped Eli would look the other way and not go after Kristen. Eli arrested Kristen and she told him anything she could think of to get out of being arrested. John woke up, but he couldn’t remember Brady and Marlena. Kristen told Eli that Lani wouldn’t forgive him if he arrested her. She reminded him that he would be married to Gabi if she didn’t convince Lani to go after him. She wanted him to act as if he never saw her. Lani showed up at Kristen’s door. Hope told Eve that the firefighters only found Ciara’s engagement and wedding rings.

Lani took Rachel to Kristen’s place and saw Eli there. Kristen thought she got through to him, but he ended up arresting her. Marlena filled John in on some details of their lives together. John got his memory back and Brady and Marlena were relieved. Eli took Kristen to the station. Lani was upset when she saw Eli. Brady wanted to give John and Marlena some time alone so he wanted to call Kristen at the Salem Inn. Marlena was surprised that Kristen was in Salem. Lani was upset that Eli lied to her and arrested Kristen. He explained why he decided to arrest Kristen. She thought he used a personal conversation and used it to look like a hero. Kristen called Brady. He told her how John was awake. She was glad for him, but she said she was arrested.

She thought Ben was responsible for it so Eric wanted to explain things to her. She didn’t want to hear it from him. Judge Duncan arrived in the courtroom. Lani appreciated what Eli did for Kristen. He didn’t seem to want to talk to her anymore so he left. Kristen was glad Brady decided not to go see Victor. He realized he should be there for John. The judge talked to Sami, Eric and Nicole before she rendered her verdict. The judge lifted the restraining order and allowed Eric and Nicole to see the baby. Kristen opened her door and saw Eli standing there. Brady was at the hospital with Marlena and they wondered what would happen when John woke up. John opened his eyes and moved his hands. Abby said he let Gwen kiss him. He said it was the only way to get rid of her. Abby said she reminded her of Gabi. He said Gwen got it bad when she walked in on Gabi in bed with Jake. He said he wanted to focus on them. Jake went to Gwen’s room. She was holding the drug she used on Abby. He wanted to know why she was packing. She said she wasn’t. She said she was leaving their room and was going to Gabi’s room. She said she didn’t want to share a bed with him. She said she accepted that they were over and didn’t want a man in her life. She said she was on a mission. He wanted to know what it was. He thought she was going after Chad. She said she was glad Gabi opened her legs to Jake because it made her see who he really was.

Chad went to Jake’s room. Chad told him to stay out of the deal at DiMera. Chad ripped into him for telling Abby about him and Gwen. Chad warned him that he was a fighter. Chad told him not to push him. They ended up arguing. Chad told him to find another place to live. Gwen went downstairs and saw Abby. Gwen held on to the drug she gave Abby. Hope and Shawn went to Wendy’s place to look for Vincent and Ciara. Their search turned up empty because they weren’t there. Ciara wanted to know where Vincent was taking her. He called her Wendy and didn’t want to tell her where they were going. Chad was happy that Gabi was gone so she wouldn’t be a threat to Abby anymore. Gwen thought about Abby and Chad drinking together. Gwen flashed back to Julie pouring champagne for Abby and Chad. Hope and Shawn investigated the room and found Ciara’s necklace. Ciara decided to pretend to be Wendy to mess with Vincent’s mind. Abby was suspicious about whether Gabi drugged her. She thought Gabi would have bragged about it. There was another flashback of Abby and Chad together at Julie’s Place. Gwen overheard them talking to Julie about Gabi.

Julie thought she recognized Gwen so she approached her. Hope and Shawn went to the station to tell Ben that they had a lead on Ciara. Abby had a surprise when she saw Jake at the mansion. She thought he was Stefan despite how much he denied being him. He was tired of people calling him Stefan. She believed that he wasn’t Stefan. Ciara continued to let him think she was Wendy to get him to put his guard down. She noticed the gun in his lap so she had to think of something. Hope and Shawn let Ben know that Ciara was with Vincent. Ben was released so he wanted to help them look for her. They wanted to check on a lead. Abby asked Jake about Gwen and he told her about his suspicions about her being involved with Chad. She wasn’t happy about that and confronted Chad about Jake’s accusation. He admitted that Gwen kissed him. He explained why she kissed him. Vincent took Ciara to an airfield so they could leave Salem, but she tried to escape. He was able to stop her from leaving and got her back in the car. Hope, Shawn, and Ben arrived at the airfield to look for Ciara. They saw Vincent in the car and Hope told him to get out of the vehicle. He got out, but he ran away. The car exploded with Ciara possibly in it.

Steve saw someone in his place and it turned out to be Tripp. Steve and Kayla wanted to know why Tripp was in town. Hope talked to Jennifer and Jack about what happened to Ciara. Hope thought that Vincent might have his own reasons to go after Ben. Vincent told Ciara that he just had photos of Wendy. He wanted to shoot her like a dog the way Ben did to Wendy. Tripp said he wanted to be with his family. Steve wondered why he left med school. Kayla told Tripp what happened to Ciara. Claire talked to Shawn about what happened to Ciara. He told her how they wanted to find out why Vincent continued the plan without Eve. She wanted to help. Vincent told Ciara how Wendy took care of Abby and then Ben killed her. He wanted to kill her too for keeping Ben from dying. Gwen walked out of the room so Chad asked Abby why she left the hospital. She assured him that she was emotionally stable now. Chad wanted to know if the hallucinations were gone. She said they were under control. She didn’t want him to fight her on that. Tripp told Steve that he wasn’t going back to school. Hope continued to talk to Jack and Jennifer about Vincent being up to something.

Abby wanted to know if Chad was going to fight her on being back home. He wanted the best for her. Kayla showed up at the station to be there for Hope. She told her and Jennifer how Rafe went to Mexico to help his mother. Vincent was going to stab Ciara with a syringe, but she was too fast for him. They fought over the syringe. She tried to leave the room. Tripp talked to Steve about studying in Salem to honor Haley. Tripp mentioned how he tried to ruin Kayla’s career. Chad told Abby that Gabi left town. Hope and Shawn were investigating where Vincent could have taken Ciara. Steve and Kayla met at the pub. He wanted to know if Hope found out anything about Ciara. She said that they didn’t have any leads. Chad told Abby how happy he was that Gabi was gone. He blamed her for Abby having hallucinations. Abby thought it was too bad that they couldn’t prove what she did. There was a flash back of her with Chad and they were drinking. Gwen thought about Chad and Abby drinking too. She told him she was babysitting. He asked her name and put two and two together. He wanted to know if she was Kristen’s baby. Jake was upset that Gabi left him. Gwen showed up and he wasn’t happy about it. He didn’t want her there, but she told him Chad said she could stay there. He let her know that Gabi left town. Chad talked to Kate about Jake trying to take over the company. They also talked about Gwen being at the mansion. She thought that she should go, but he wanted her to stay. Kate wondered if something was going on between them. Brady wanted to know what happened to Rachel. She told him that she was with Lani. He reminded her that she’s married to Eli and he would tell on her. Eli told Lani that she’s a cop and wanted to know why she didn’t call the police on her. He put an APB out on Kristen. Brady wanted Kristen to leave town. Lani took Eli’s phone to keep him from making the call. They went back and forth about how wrong that was. She wanted him to keep it between them.

Brady continued to tell Kristen how wrong it was for her to be in Salem. She wanted to be there for him. Lani told Eli that Kristen and Brady would be there until John was better. She pleaded with him to look the other way. He agreed to keep quiet. He ended up telling her that Gabi left town. Lani was excited about that. Chad told Kate that Gabi left town. She was happy about it, but she let Chad finished. Chad told her about Abby not being completely better, but she would be able to manage her symptoms. Gwen was happy to find out that Gabi dumped him. She told him that she was in love with him so she thought he deserved what Gabi did to him. She expected him to beg for her forgiveness. He told her that they weren’t getting back together regardless. Steve and Kayla were relaxing at home when someone walked in the door. The person looked at their picture together. Gwen talked to Chad about what Jake did to her. She told him that she was heartbroken. Kayla heard something break and Steve checked it out. Eli promised Lani that he wouldn’t tell the police about Kristen or Rachel being in Salem. Steve snuck up on the person at his place and found out it was Trip. Belle talked to Shawn about being glad that psycho Jan was locked up. Jan surprised them by showing up at the hospital. Belle wanted him to call the police, but Jan told them that she was released. Ben remembered Vincent and told Marlena he was the one who told him to kill Ciara. Jan showed Belle and Shawn the paperwork that proved she was released. Ben continued to remember Vincent being in the dorm room. Ciara woke up and saw Vincent. She remembered him working with Eve. Jan wanted Marlena to be her therapist, but Belle didn’t want her to be her therapist. She didn’t understand how Jan could be released and she told her Sami got her out. Sami told Lucas about her plan to get custody of the baby. He was shocked she was able to get Jan out of Shady Pines. Ben continued to remember how Vincent was the one who showed up in the room and tried to get him to kill Ciara. Ciara also had memories of what Vincent did to her and Ben. She wanted to know what the next plan would be. Ben remembered that Vincent was the one who took Vincent. Hope thanked him and left the room. Brady blamed himself for why Eric and Nicole lost time together. Eric assured him that it was fine. He wanted to know where Brady went. Belle went to the townhouse to confront Sami for bringing Jan home after what she did to her. They argued over it until Belle slapped her. Belle apologized for hitting her. They talked about the things Jan did and Belle thought she shouldn’t have brought her there after everything she’s dealing with now. Ben yelled at Hope about finding Ciara. Hope reminded him that she was worried too. Vincent told Ciara about Wendy and how Ben treated her like she was trash.

Shawn questioned Ben about what happened to Ciara. Ben couldn’t tell him what happened because he couldn’t remember anything. The judge was about to render her verdict when Jan Spears walked in the room. She went right to Nicole and asked her if she was happy to see her. Nicole and Eric went to Sami and asked her about Jan being out of the mental hospital. Shawn threatened Ben if he didn’t tell him what happened to Ciara. There was a shot of Ciara lying on a bed. Sami told the judge that the people at Shady Pines know that Jan was there. Justin tried to object, but the judge allowed Jan to testify. Marlena confided in Belle about how guilty she felt about what happened to Ciara. She told her that she didn’t help Ben when he was in trouble. Claire tried to assure Hope that Ciara would be okay. They heard Shawn threaten him. Hope wanted Shawn to keep it together. Eric tried to talk Sami out of having Jan testify, but she was determined to do it. Sami questioned Jan. Jan admitted that Nicole wanted her to kill Victor.

Shawn went to the hospital and talked to Belle. He ended up telling her that he ran into Philip. She was surprised that he was in town. He also mentioned Jan. Justin wanted the judge to forget about Jan’s testimony and award custody to Nicole and Eric. Marlena went in the interrogation room to talk to Ben. He wasn’t sure if he killed Ciara. She wanted to hypnotize him. Sami had Jan’s diary and a letter from the head of Shady Pines to prove her case. Sami said that Jan is being released. Belle and Shawn talked about the way Jan terrorized them and was glad she was in Shady Pines. Jan came up to her and told her that she was wrong. Nicole felt guilty for Eric lying in court. He said he wanted to do it. She realized Sami was right and she’s turning into someone people don’t recognize. She decided it might be a good idea to let Sami get custody of Allie’s baby. Will and Sonny told Sami they were leaving town and she wasn’t happy about it. Sami got a call that the judge was ready to reach her verdict. Brady was at the hospital with Marlena. She wanted to know why he was gone for so long. He told her that he was with Kristen and Rachel. Nicole, Eric, and Justin were in the courtroom talking about the case. Nicole wasn’t sure what Sami would do if they win the case. Justin assured her that they were going to win, but Sami told them not to be sure about that. Xander told Philip about Victor giving him the job. Philip wanted the position so he thought he should have it. They argued back and forth over it. Sami told the judge that Nicole was a killer. Victor was Sami’s surprise witness.

Xander and Philip continued arguing over who should run DiMera. Philip reminded him what he and Victor did to Brady. Xander reminded him how Victor gave the CEO position to Deimos to get it out of Philip’s hands. Brady told Marlena that he was staying in town for as long as John needed him. She asked about Kristen and he said she wanted to come back there. They talked about what she did to Victor, but he didn’t blame her for doing it. Sami began to question Victor, but Justin thought he didn’t have any knowledge of Deimos’ murder. He was talking about his murder. Marlena talked to Brady about Sami’s custody case with Nicole. Justin objected to Sami’s questioning because Victor was alive. Sami continued her questioning Victor and he told the judge how Nicole tried to kill him. Xander head butted Philip during their argument. Philip wanted to show him how he fights. Justin cross-examined him about the accusation. The judge listened and wanted to make her decision. Nicole told Sami she wasted her time having Victor there as if she would have hired Jan to help her. Victor saw Xander and Philip arguing and told them they were both going to be CEO’s of the company. Eric told Sami that Jan was still in a coma, but she corrected him. She told him she was awake and has been for a while. The judge returned with her verdict and said Sami didn’t have proof of her accusation so she was giving custody to Eric and Nicole. Sami interrupted her and told her that she wanted to present Jan Spears.

Sonny told Victor he and Will were leaving town. Victor was upset that he was leaving. Sonny said it was time for a new start. Victor said he was like Adrienne. Sonny was shocked to hear that. Victor said he should have told Adrienne she was a good mother. He said he was glad Sonny was working with his brothers to honor her. They talked about Victor visiting him before he left. When Sonny left the mansion, Xander showed up. Victor told him that Philip planned to take over the company. Xander becomes upset. Xander said he wasn’t giving up without a fight. Victor told him he hadn’t decided yet. He said he wanted to do what was best for the company. Will went to see Marlena. She said she needed him right now. He told her he and Sonny were leaving town. He said he would go with Sonny later. She said she enough support. She said he should be with Sonny. She said she had enough support so he should be with Sonny. She said she was proud of him.

Sarah went to check on John. She told Marlena that the swelling didn’t go down as they hoped. She said they had to wait to wake him up. When Sarah left, Marlena talked to John. She told him that she missed him. She said she was feeling alone. Brady came in and told her that she wasn’t alone. Philip met with Kate. He told her what happened with Victor. She asked if he was prepared to hear Victor tell him he couldn’t be CEO. He said he was and it would let him where they stood.  She asked if he wanted to run Titan. He said it was his birthright. Lucas showed up while Kate and Philip were talking. After Lucas and Philip reunited, Philip left. Will showed up to tell them goodbye. Lucas wished him luck telling Sami he was leaving. Sonny arrived. They said bye to Lucas and Kate. Xander told Victor he had to choose who was going to be CEO. Xander asked if it was going to be him. Philip came in and asked if it was going to be him.

Hope demanded that Ben tell her if he killed Ciara. He didn’t know what happened. She wanted to go look for her. He wanted her to arrest him because he didn’t think what Eve did to him was finished. Eduardo wanted Gabi and Rafe to go with him to save their lives. Gabi put up a fight until they talked to Dario. She realized what had to be done to keep her daughter safe. Gwen wasn’t happy that Jake was with Gabi. They ended up arguing. He decided that she had to move out. She wanted to stay there and was willing to work things out with him. Jake couldn’t do it. He gave her some money to go to a hotel and take a plane out of Salem. Gabi went to Will and Sonny to tell them they could take Arianna with them. She told them about the trouble Eduardo was in and she wanted to keep Arianna safe. Ben was upset when he saw Eve at the police station. He yelled at her for having him kill Ciara. She told him that she wanted him to feel the pain she felt. He told her to go after him. She only hoped Ciara was alive for Hope. Rafe arrived so Hope caught him up about Eve. He wanted to know if Eve knew where to find Ciara.

Eve said she didn’t know where Ciara was. Rafe didn’t believe her. Hope told him that Eve was the one who helped her find where Ben took Ciara. Ben told them that it was the anniversary of Paige’s death and that Eve had her friend brainwash her. Rafe wanted to know what happened so Eli told them there was an APB out for her. Eve explained that she was out of her mind with grief and hoped that Ciara was okay. Eduardo told Gabi that she shouldn’t have told Will and Sonny the truth. They continued to talk about why she had to leave. She was upset that she had to say goodbye to her daughter. She was heartbroken that she had to say goodbye. Eduardo was ready to go, but she had to say goodbye to one more person. Rafe told Hope that he had to leave, but he lied about why he had to go. He didn’t want to leave her like this. Gabi went to the DiMera mansion to see Jake. He wanted to know what happened. She told him about her mother being sick so she had to be with her. She told him goodbye. Hope told Rafe that his place was with his mother. He didn’t want to leave because he wanted to help find Ciara. She insisted that he go because she had support there. Jake said that they didn’t have to end just because she’s leaving. He said that he would go with her, but she told him that he couldn’t go. She made him think that she was just using him. She didn’t want him to wait for her.
