Claire talked to Jan about kissing Theo. She said it was embarrassing how she kissed him, but it made her realize that she could have a shot with Charlie. She told her what happened when she went to see Charlie. Charlie talked to Xander about Claire showed up at the office. He wanted to know if he told her about kissing the other guy, but he didn’t tell her. Belle told Philip how Jan still intended to press charges against him. She suggested he plead guilty and wouldn’t get any jail time. He would only have probation. He didn’t want to take the deal. He wanted to go to trial. She said the deal was a good one. He thought Xander was going to use the case against him. She warned him the case would be long and destroy his life. He was fine with it, but she didn’t think Shawn would like it. Theo talked to Lani and Abe about what happened with Claire. Claire told Jan how she hadn’t heard from Charlie. Jan insisted that she go after Charlie. Sarah went to Xander’s office and told him how he was right about Philip. She thought he was hiding something.

Charlie showed up while Claire and Jan were talking. Jan asked him why he blew Claire off. He said it was because he was kissing a new guy. Lani told Abe and Theo how she worked things out with Eli because of what happened with Kristen. Abe thought about his last conversation about that with Eli. Claire was surprised that Charlie knew she kissed Theo. She asked if he was spying on her. He explained the advice he got from Xander. He told her what happened when he saw her kissing someone else. Jan kept getting involved until her phone rang. She was upset by her phone call. Belle went to Shawn and told him how Philip was her former client. She said he took the plea deal. Xander told Sarah how Philip shifted money around without telling him. She asked him what he thought that meant. Claire told Charlie what happened with Theo. He wanted to know why she didn’t tell him what happened. Xander continued to talk to Sarah about Philip. Philip was jogging and someone was following him. Belle assured Shawn that she loved him. She got down on one knee and proposed to him.

She thought about it when Chad showed up. Jake hid so she let him in the room. He wanted to talk about Abby. Abby told Gwen how her parents were supposed to celebrate the strength of their marriage, but she messed it up. Claire and Theo kissed and Charlie saw them. He walked away before they could see him. Xander tried to tell Victor how Philip transferred money to another company. Victor said he would handle it. Chad thought Abby would have gone to her room to confront her. She mentioned how Abby went through her things and blurted her business out to people. He let her know he had no way of reaching her. Gwen tried to make Abby feel better about what she did. Victor called Philip to find out what he was doing. Xander was investigating Philip when Charlie arrived. He told him how Claire kissed another guy. Philip denied doing anything wrong. She said it was in a box and she thought it would be safe in her house. Abby admitted that she was looking for shoes in Kate’s closet and accidentally found it. Jake thought it was weird how Kate would let her go through her things when she had the letter. Abby admitted that Gwen suggested she borrow the shoes from Kate. She thought he was trying to warn her about Kate again. She didn’t want to hear him talk about Gwen. Gwen saw them together and went to find Chad. She told him how Abby was home.

She told him how that destroyed her family. Jake tried to kiss Kate, but she stopped him. She thought he wanted to be with her because he thought she was lonely or because he was lonely. He wanted her because he thought she was beautiful. She reminded him about their age difference. Jake talked to Xander about being attracted to Claire. Claire was surprised when Theo showed up at her place. Jake told Kate how he was attracted to her since he met her. She told him she just wanted her car fixed when she went to his garage. Jennifer didn’t want Jack to touch her when he approached her. She told him happy anniversary before she walked away from him. Claire talked to Theo about the way she felt about Ciara. She mentioned how she was jealous. Xander told Charlie about Claire being in a mental hospital. Charlie wasn’t going to judge Claire for getting help. Xander mumbled how she didn’t have much choice. Abby told him how he had to take care of himself if he was going to take care of her. He kept going to the pub after he left the hospital. He was afraid she would never wake up. He started drinking to ease the pain. Kate told Jake her side of what happened with Jack. Jennifer didn’t want to hear the details of Jack’s courtship with Kate. He told her how there wasn’t a courtship because they only talked about her. Jennifer reminded Jack how he didn’t wake up alone. She told him how he spent his days by her bed and his nights in Kate’s bed.

Chad let Gwen know that Abby was locked up in the bathroom. She blamed herself for what happened because she suggested she borrow shoes from her. Kayla told him how he needed to accept the fact that Tripp raped Allie. Abby noticed Kate had a letter from her father. She was confused by it so Gwen urged her to read the letter. Allie read it and something caught her by surprise. Steve wondered if Kayla was mad at him for believing his son. She thought he should stop being in denial when the test proved he was the father. She didn’t like the fact that he was basically called Allie a liar. She wanted him to admit that Tripp raped Allie because it was insulting to everyone who was raped including her. Jack thought there was another reason. Jennifer was that Bonnie told her how Justin forgave her for everything. She reminded Bonnie about the things she did. She didn’t want her to get her hopes up about anything happening with Justin. JJ surprised Abby when he was back for the party. JJ thanked Gwen for getting him back to Salem. Gwen walked out of the room. She was ready to give Abby a real surprise. Chad wanted to invite Kate to the party, but she tried to get out of it. Jake bailed Ben out of jail and offered his place to her. Ben said he would think of Ciara regardless of where he was living. Abby was grateful that the family was getting their lives back together. Kayla said she ran the test three times and they all came back positive. She said he and Henry matched. She said only the baby’s father could match like that. Tripp defended himself to Kayla. She said the tests didn’t lie. He asked if she was saying that he lied. He denied being with Allie. Kayla said she wanted to believe him. Tripp asked Steve if he believed he was a rapist. Steve told him to look in his eye and swear he was telling the truth. He did it. Steve said they would find out what was going on. Tripp wanted to know how they were going to fix it. He denied that he agreed to the test. She told him how Kayla got the test results. He realized that no one believed him. He said Kayla wasn’t getting away with what she did. Vincent told Shawn and Ben how Ciara asked for mercy when he was going to kill her. He thought about what Ben did to Wendy and shot her. Chad and Abby talked about how Hope left town to look for Ciara. She admitted that she felt sorry for Ben. Chad was surprised after what he did to her. Jake overheard Gwen talking on the phone and she admitted she was planning a surprise for Jack and Jennifer. She thought he was obsessed with her. He said he didn’t care about her. Ben pointed the gun at Vincent to get him to admit whether he killed Ciara. Vincent told him to he killed Ciara the same way he killed Wendy. Ben told him that he was going to put a few bullets in him. He called Ben’s bluff and told him to do it. Steve and Kayla noticed how John and Marlena didn’t sit with them. John showed up while they were talking. He wanted to apologize for trying to hit Steve. Steve understood and was glad he came to his senses. John got offended by that because he still thought Tripp was guilty of raping his granddaughter. Shawn was at the cemetery to say goodbye to Ciara when Tripp showed up. Shawn wondered why he was at the cemetery. Tripp told him that he wanted to pay his respects, but he wanted to wait until everyone left. Shawn didn’t understand why he didn’t go to the church. He said the situation with Allie was why he didn’t go. Steve told John how Allie was drunk when the rape happened so she didn’t know for a fact that Tripp raped her. John was about to yell at him when Kayla stopped them from arguing. Vincent told Ben he didn’t have it in him anymore to kill. He reminded him how he couldn’t kill Ciara or Eli. Eli wanted to get out of the hospital to stop Ben. He couldn’t forgive himself if Ben killed Vincent on his watch. He tried to get out of bed, but he fell on the floor.

Steve wanted John to give Tripp the benefit of the doubt. She reminded him how they did the test behind his back and knew he would be mad about it. Steve agreed that Tripp deserved to know the truth. Vincent was about to tell Ben about Ciara when Shawn showed up. He demanded that Ben put down the gun. Eli said he was talking about Ben in his sleep, but Lani told him how he mentioned Kristen. Claire was upset that things didn’t go well at the memorial. Julie tried to make her feel better about what happened. Claire wanted to do something for Ciara since she tried to kill her. Ben was determined to make sure Vincent didn’t make it to his arraignment. Jennifer read Hope’s letter to Jack. Hope mentioned not being able to go to the memorial service. Lani didn’t understand why Kristen confessed to what she did. She wanted to know if she did it on her own. Brady went to Eli and blamed him for why Kristen changed her plea. Eli said that Kristen deserved to pay for her crimes. Brady advised him to pray that Lani would understand how he tricked her best friend into a confession. Eli wanted to know if Brady was going to tell Lani what he did. Brady told him that he wouldn’t tell Lani the truth because of Kristen. Lani couldn’t believe Kristen didn’t fight back. Kate shot Clyde when he tried to come near her. Abe showed up and saw her with her gun. Ben assured Eli that he would let him know the second he heard from Clyde. Eli was upset that he kept quiet about his father coming to see him. He wasn’t sure if he believed he would tell him anything. Kayla told Rolf that he couldn’t pull off his plan to have her give birth to Stefano but he was sure he could do it. She refused to help him and tried to get out of the lab. Abe tried to talk Kate out of pointing the gun on Clyde. Kate wanted him to spend the rest of his life in prison. The police were on their way so Abe told her that she might get her wish. Rolf told Kayla how he gave her a drug so she couldn’t move. He said it would make it easy for him to inject her. Steve showed up at the lab and beat Rolf up. Kate took Henry to Allie. Nicole wanted to know how she was able to get Henry away from Kate. She explained how it happened. Eli told Ben how Clyde was shot. Ben wanted to see him. Eli went into the interrogation room and gave Rolf his phone to make a call. He called Gwen and told her to meet him at the station. If she didn’t, he planned on telling the police about her.

Gwen lied to Chad and Abby about where she was going. Kayla snapped at Steve when he wanted to give her something to drink. She apologized, but she couldn’t remember what Rolf did to her. Kate thanked Nicole for helping Allie when she couldn’t turn to her family. Kate told Allie that she knew what happened to her. Kayla talked to Steve about feeling helpless after what Rolf did to her. She felt the same way she did when she was raped. Chad wanted to stay up and wait for Gwen. Abby asked him why he wanted to wait for her. He said he a letter opener wouldn’t have cut through the thick rope. He noticed how nervous she got when her phone rang. Rolf was happy to see Gwen at the station. He wanted to know how she was going to get him our. She didn’t know how she would pull it off. He warned her that he would tell what she was doing to Abby. Chad continued to talk about his suspicions to Abby, but she didn’t think she was suspicious. Kayla told Steve how she was reminded about the rape and that’s why Tripp’s situation was hard for her. She wanted to know what would happen if he was the one who raped her. Ben saw Clyde told him how he was going back to prison and could have Vincent killed. Ben wanted to kill him with his own hands. Orpheus warned John that Marlena better have his son or he was going to have Henry killed. Marlena showed up with Christian. He wasn’t happy about being taken out of Bayview. He told his father how he was doing so much better at Bayview than he was in prison. Orpheus wanted to help him get his son. Kate ran into Clyde and wanted to call the police. She realized that he had Henry. Rolf told Kayla how he planned on cloning a new Stefano. Steve asked security whether they’ve seen Kayla. He talked to Roman about the prisoners being out and taking Kayla. Roman was sure they left town. Kayla told Rolf she felt sad for him for feeling like he had to cling to Stefano. He said her plan wasn’t going to work. He wanted to achieve his goal. He told her how she was going to help him create the clone. Kate demanded that Clyde give her the baby. He told her to throw her phone in the bushes. She wanted to know why he kidnapped the baby. She was willing to pay the ransom. Orpheus wanted Christian to go with him and he would see David. He planned on killing Henry if he didn’t go with him. Christian wanted to know if he could really keep them safe. He promised his on he would, but he had to take care of John and Marlena first.

Steve and Roman looked at the security footage and realized that Rolf took Kayla. Kayla refused to help Rolf with his plan. John wanted to give Orpheus money since he didn’t plan on honoring his deal with Marlena. Clyde warned Kate that Henry could be hit in the crossfire if the police came after him. Lucas told Kate how about Allie getting raped. He blamed himself, but she tried to make him feel better. He felt he should have protected her. He thought he could have prevented the entire thing. He was upset that Allie had a constant reminder of the rape because of Henry. Allie told Nicole how she let a stranger in their home during a prison break. Lani showed up to get details about Henry. Eli questioned Ben about whether Clyde came back. Eli wanted to search his place for Clyde. Dr. Morris told Marlena that Christian was better off at Bayview the same way Claire was. When Chad wouldn’t give him what he wanted, he pulled a gun out on him. Chad said he didn’t have the microchip because he and Tony burned the microchip. Rolf was upset. Chad told him Stefano was gone. Chad said Rolf couldn’t bring him back. Rolf told him that he had to avenge Stefano’s death if he was gone. Rolf put the gun on Chad again. Gwen went to talk to Abby. They talked about Jake and Chad’s feud. They also talked about Jake thinking Gwen had a reason for planning the party for Jack and Jennifer. Abby said she appreciated her help. Gwen looked forward to the party. Gwen wondered if Jake would be invited to the party. Abby hoped Chad would get along with Jake. Abby confided in her that Chad had trouble fitting in with the DiMeras when he found out he was one. Gwen suggested Abby have a celebration for her family. She realized she couldn’t do it so Gwen offered to help. Chad went to see Jake to offer an olive branch. Eli explained to Kristen why he had to make the confession. She wanted to know what would happen if he didn’t turn in the confession. He told her he had an idea and that was why he was there. Chad let Jake know he was entitled to his share of the company. Jake wanted to work together with Shin, but Chad thought he was out of his mind. Lani told Melinda how Kristen regretted what happened to Haley. She was glad and hoped it haunted her for the rest of her life.

Chad told Jake he could be in the executive training program. They started arguing over it. Abby and Gwen continued to talk about the party and where to have it. Gwen suggested Julie’s Place, but Abby hadn’t been there since Gabi drugged her. Gwen couldn’t believe someone would want to hurt her. Lani explained to Melinda how she felt when she lost her child. Melinda was able to relate to her pain. Lani told her how Kristen was on drugs and ended up without her child. Melinda could relate. Kristen wanted to leave town, but Eli warned her not to do it. She told him how it was his fault she was going through that so she wasn’t going to save him. He asked her to help Lani. Melinda told Lani how she gave her daughter away and it hurt. Lani asked her not to do the same thing to Kristen. Eli continued to explain to Kristen how wrong it would be for her to leave town. He wondered if she would protect Brady and not be willing to protect her best friend. Chad and Jake were about to fight, but Kate stopped them. Chad said the deal was off the table. Lani continued to get Melinda to drop the charges against Kristen. Melinda broke down so Lani hugged her. Brady walked in and wondered what happened. Eli told Kristen how he and Lani finally got back together. He was willing to get on his knees and beg her to help Kristen. He got on his knees and she made him get up. She agreed to save Lani. Eli deleted the recording. Kristen wanted to confess to trying to kill Victor.

Kristen talked to Brady about wanting Marlena to raise Rachel if she went to prison. He assured her that she would be the one raising her. Eli had a nightmare about Lani finding out about the recording. She ended up waking him up as if she were mad at him. She told him how Trask wanted to talk t him. Trask asked Eli if he got the recording. She threatened to have Lani arrested. He couldn’t talk about it in front of Eli. Lani was surprised Melinda didn’t want to talk about Kristen. She thanked him for convincing her to do the right thing about the footage. Eli didn’t think it was a great idea for her to go to the courthouse. Jack and Jennifer talked to Gwen about being Chad and Abby’s nanny. They mentioned how Jennifer was in a coma. Jake talked to Kate about Chad’s feelings about him. She let him know how Chad walked in on Stefan with Abby and she thought he would always assume he was Stefan. Chad let Abby know how he thought Jake could be like Stefan. He mentioned how he thought about her being with Stefan every time he saw Jake.

Abby assured Chad that she was better and nothing else will come between them again. Jake and Kate continued to talk about people comparing him to Stefan. He wanted to change the subject and talk about her love life. Gwen seemed a little agitated when Jack talked about Abby and Jennifer. She said everyone didn’t get the chance to have a father care about them. Abby and Chad came in the room with them. Abby had a warm moment with Jack and Jennifer, but Gwen wasn’t happy about it. Kate didn’t want to talk to Jake about her personal life, but he wanted to know about it. She told him how she was in love with his father. Eli called Melinda to tell her how he had the recording. He demanded that she give him something in writing that guaranteed Lani wouldn’t go to jail. She agreed to what he wanted and told him to meet her at the station. Gwen talked to Abby about her family. Gwen let her know she didn’t come from a great family. Eli listened to Kristen’s confession before he left the loft. Eli went to Kristen to tell her how he had her full confession.

Tripp went to see Allie to confront her about the rape charge. He denied doing anything to her. She remembered what he did, but he told her how she was too drunk to remember anything. Justin talked to Steve about Tripp being accused of rape. Steve couldn’t believe Tripp did anything like that. Justin told him how he tried to get more details, but Tripp left. Nicole was at the hospital and ran into Kayla. They talked about Tripp and Allie knowing each other before. Nicole told her how he raped Allie. Tripp continued to tell Allie how he didn’t do anything with her. She said she got pregnant because of him. She remembered him being on top of her and she told him no. Nicole told Kayla about Allie’s accusations. Kayla wanted more details, but Henry started crying. Steve said he knew Tripp and he didn’t rape Allie. Justin told him how the police were involved. Philip told Victor what Xander did to him so he fired him. Xander couldn’t believe he fired him. Victor told him not to deal with a maniac like Jan. Jan showed up at the Kiriakis mansion. Xander warned Philip he was going to regret what he did to him. Steve went to see Kayla. He wanted to know if she saw Tripp. Tripp tried to get through to her, but she wouldn’t listen. She threatened to go to the police so they fought over the phone. Nicole showed up demanding to know why he was in the apartment.

Jan tried to tell Victor how Xander tried to stop her from going after Philip. He didn’t believe her, but she had proof. Philip goaded Xander about being fired. He implied that Philip might get killed. Tripp told Nicole that Henry wasn’t his baby. Nicole asked Allie to take the baby to the other room. Tripp told Nicole he didn’t have sex with Allie. Steve talked to Kayla about Allie’s accusations against Tripp. Kayla said how Nicole had a different story. Steve wondered if Nicole was pushing Allie to say those things. He looked at her expression and wondered if she believed Tripp raped Allie. Jan played Victor the proof Xander didn’t want her to go to the police. She warned him to watch out for Philip. Kayla basically implied that Tripp could have misinterpreted what happened with Allie. They talked about how Tripp threatened her. She told him how Tripp admitted to framing Ben for setting the fire at the cabin. Tripp continued to deny the allegation. He told Nicole his side of the story. Allie said she told the truth, but Tripp denied it. He got upset so Nicole ordered him to leave. Xander confronted Victor about firing him. He said he was loyal to him, but he refused to go back to being a lackey. Steve said he was hurt that Kayla could consider that Tripp could rape Allie. Allie didn’t seem sure about Tripp being the rapist so Nicole asked her if he did it. Victor decided to give Xander another chance after talking to Jan. Philip was on the phone telling the person Xander was fired so no one would stand in their way for their plans with Titan.
