Dr. Snyder told Gwen that he wasn’t comfortable knowing that she lied about when her baby died. She reminded him about doctor/patient confidentiality agreement. He said it would cost Abby her mental health. He was upset because Jan threw that up in his face too. He told her what Jan did. He threatened to expose her to Jack. He said they had to change their relationship if she wanted him to keep quiet. She told him that she would scream if he came near her. He didn’t want her. He wanted her to work for him. He let her get dressed and returned with a package for her to deliver. He told her that she had to do it every week. She refused to do that. He threatened to call Jack so she changed her mind. Claire tried to make Ben feel better about Ciara leaving. She suggested he leave her alone for a while. They ended up kissing. Things were heating up between them when Ben stopped them. He couldn’t do that to Ciara. Claire felt stupid, but Ben tried to make her feel better about it. She hoped she didn’t mess up their friendship. He apologized too and they agreed to put it behind them. Chad tried to convince Abby not to leave Salem, but she had to go. He wanted to work things out. She said she was overwhelmed. She said her life was ruined. He finally agreed to let her leave if that’s what she needed to do. She said she wouldn’t be gone long. He wanted her to see the love he had in his eyes for her. They kissed each other and she left. Jack called Chad so he could speak to Abby. Chad told him that he was too late. He said Abby left.

Jack showed up at the DiMera mansion to talk to Chad. He didn’t understand why Abby left without saying anything. He told Chad that Gwen lied. Chad told him that Abby said Gwen was lying. He said Abby felt guilty and knew Chad blamed her for what happened. Chad told him about what happened. Jack realized that Abby was right to leave. Shawn talked to Jan about Belle killing Charlie. She assured him that she wouldn’t leave him. She kissed him. He was surprised that she kissed him. Jan thought he still hated her. He said he had to keep it a secret for her sake. He wanted to get a room for them at the Salem Inn. She was excited at the idea of them being in a room together. He left to get the room. She thought about having sex with him. Dr. Snyder arrived and interrupted her fantasy. He confronted her about faking being in a coma. He told her that Belle and Shawn were asking about her coma so she realized she was being played. She realized she had to turn the tables on them. Belle went to see John at the hospital. She told him the judge wasn’t going to drop John’s recording. He said he was going to tell the jury that his mind isn’t right. She told him that she and Shawn were going to take care of Jan. Shawn called her and told her that Jan bought their argument. He said he almost ruined it when Jan kissed him. He said he said he was disgusted by the kiss. He told her how he got a room at the Salem Inn. She thought they went too far. Ben went back to his apartment and was surprised by who was there. Jan arrived at Belle and Shawn’s place. She pulled a gun out just as Shawn arrived.

Belle told Shawn that she didn’t have a defense for her case. He said they had footage of Jan walking around the hospital while she was supposed to be in a coma. Belle said that didn’t prove she killed Charlie. He said they had to make her confess to it. Jan talked to Trask about the case. Trask told her that Belle had a right to a trial just like her. Jan said that the evidence was admissible against Belle. Julie was upset at the idea of Gwen moving in the house. Jack tried to explain to her why Gwen was moving there. Julie told him how Gwen destroyed Abby’s life and shouldn’t be living there. He wanted her to give Gwen a chance. Abby let Chad and Gabi know that she was going to stay with her mother in Boston for a while. Chad asked her if she was leaving because of them. Gabi told him that Abby was leaving because of Gwen. She tried to talk Abby out of leaving town. She didn’t think she should leave town because of Gwen. Ben went to Belle and Shawn’s place and ran into Claire. He wanted to talk to Belle about the divorce papers that Ciara sent him. She told him about Belle’s trial coming up. He forgot about it and wanted to find another attorney. Claire stopped him from leaving and told him that she would help him. Ben told Claire that Ciara filed for divorce. Shawn told Belle that he would seduce Jan into a confession. Belle said she wasn’t going to let him seduce her. She said she would rather go to prison. Jan showed up while they were talking. Gabi told Abby that she shouldn’t leave. Gabi said she would keep an eye on Gwen. Abby thanked her for stopping her from stabbing Gwen. She said it wasn’t a wise move. Gabi left Abby and Chad alone to talk. Chad told Abby he didn’t want her to go. Jack told Julie that Gwen was his daughter. He said she suffered a terrible trauma. Julie said Gwen slept with her sister’s husband and got pregnant. Julie said that the men in the family believed every lie that came out of Gwen’s mouth. Julie left the room. Gwen told Jack that Julie was right. Gwen said she lied about what happened the day she lost the baby.

Julie ran into Gabi and told her that Jack moved Gwen into the house. Gabi wondered if he would be so fatherly if he knew he ran Abby out of town. Jack wanted to know what Gwen lied about. Gwen said Abby said terrible things to her before she fell. She said she wanted to hurt Abby as much as she hurt her. She said that was why she said Abby pushed her down the stairs. He asked what happened. Gwen told him what happened when she fell down the stairs. She said Abby didn’t push her. She said it was an accident. Belle pretended to argue with Shawn about someone framing her while Jan was watching them. Ben told Claire that he could convince Ciara not to divorce him. Claire said she wasn’t going to let him do that. He wanted her to give him the phone. She said he was going to push Ciara away. He said he had to do whatever it took to bring Ciara home. Gwen apologized for lying to Jack. She said Abby was right. She said it was her responsibility to protect her child. She said Julie was right about her finding somewhere else to live. Jack said she wasn’t leaving. Chad told Abby that he gave her reason to walk away from the marriage. He apologized. He said he believed her. He said he believed that she didn’t mean for Gwen to fall and lose her child. Abby thanked him for saying that. She said she didn’t know if she believed herself. Julie asked Gabi if Abby was really leaving. Gabi agreed with her. Gabi said Gwen ruined her life when she framed her for drugging Abby. Shawn and Belle continued to argue in front of Jan. Belle ended up leaving. Belle ran into Trask. Trask asked her if she was enjoying her last days of freedom. Jan apologized to Shawn for what Belle did. He told her that Belle shouldn’t have killed Charlie despite what he did. Claire told Ben that he understood that he wanted to bring Ciara back but ambushing her wasn’t the way. She said he needed to trust that Ciara would come back to him. He asked what would happen if that didn’t happen. Jack told Gwen she wasn’t leaving. He said she was his daughter and they were family. He said owned her mistakes and told him the truth. He said when she had faith in herself, she and Abby would get along. He said she would find joy in her life. He said she wasn’t alone anymore. Julie showed up and told Jack that Abby was leaving town. Abby told Chad that she wanted Gwen’s baby gone when she found out she was pregnant. She said she grabbed Gwen and told her to get out of her life. She said his baby was gone. He said she was upset about the pregnancy. She said she let her anger for Gwen ruin an innocent baby’s life. She said he looked at her like a stranger. She said she let Gwen turn her into someone she didn’t want to be. Gwen went to see Dr. Snyder. He told her that she lied about her miscarriage. He said he wasn’t comfortable about it. Trask told Belle that she was going to go down for Charlie’s murder.

Lani confronted Kristen about who she really was. Lani said she loved her, but she had to arrest her. Kristen said she should have known she couldn’t fool her. Lani said everyone knew what she has done. Kristen wanted to meet Lani’s twins. Marlena told Brady that Kate was in a coma because of Kristen. He asked her about Chloe. Marlena said she couldn’t get in touch with her. He asked her about Lucas. She told him Lucas was dying from a tumor. Brady was shocked. She said she didn’t think it was true. He wanted to know why Lucas would say that. She said Sami put her up to it. Lucas and Sami told Xander that they kept Kristen’s secret so there was no reason why she would want them dead. Xander said she didn’t trust them anymore. Gabi told Philip that she and Jake were back together. She told him she wasn’t sure if they were together because of Kate. Jake told Gabi that he was afraid that she wasn’t going to come out of it. Xander told Lucas and Sami that it was Philip’s fault that he had to work with Kristen. He said Philip got was the reason why he didn’t have a job anymore so he had to do it. He asked who wanted to go first. She said she would double whatever Kristen was paying him. He said it was a tempting offer. He said he wanted $10,000,000. Marlena told Brady that Sami dressed up like a man to convince Chloe that Lucas was dying. Brady wanted to know why. Marlena told him she didn’t know. She said Sami and Lucas wanted Chloe to go with him to Antarctica. Brady thought Kristen wanted Chloe out of the way. Gabi tried to comfort Jake about Kate. She told him that he wanted to be with her before Kate was in a coma. She didn’t expect him to want to be with her now that Kate is in a coma.

Jake told Gabi that he loved her. He said despite everything that was going on, she was the woman he wanted to be with. Kristen told Lani that she was afraid that she was going to lose Rachel. Lani said she would always be in Rachel’s heart. Kristen said she wouldn’t be in Brady’s. She said she didn’t mean to hurt Kate. She said she was afraid that she was going to lose Brady. She apologized to Lani. Lani wanted to know why. Kristen said she must hate having her as a friend. Sami agreed to pay Xander the money to keep her and Lucas safe. She told him she had to get EJ to sign for the money. Xander wanted to know why EJ wouldn’t want to save the two of them. Kristen told Lani that she was her friend. She said she had to arrest Kristen. Brady told Marlena that he needed to find Chloe. He asked Marlena to go to the DiMera mansion to see if anyone has seen Chloe. Sami called EJ to tell him she needed $10 million dollars. Marlena asked Brady how he felt about Chloe. He said he cared about her. He said he couldn’t live with himself if anything happened to her. Marlena said she would check with Lucas to see if he heard from her. Xander got the money from EJ. Lucas asked if they were good. Xander said he was a man of his word. Sami wanted to know what he was going to tell Kristen. Xander said it was his concern. Xander left the room. When Sami and Lucas were about to leave, she stopped him. She said EJ was going to want to know why they needed the money. Lucas told her to tell him whatever he wanted. He said not to tell him that they slept together or he would kill them himself.

Sami and Lucas argued over sleeping together. She blamed him for why they slept together. Rafe blamed himself for why Kristen was on the loose. Gabi tried to tell him it wasn’t his fault, but he said he should have listened to Lucas when he told him about Kate. Nicole went to Xander’s room to get her wedding ring. Kristen hid in the bathroom before Nicole could see her. Nicole told Xander no one must know that they slept together. Sami admitted that she shouldn’t have slept with Lucas. She said it wasn’t his responsibility to stop her from cheating on her husband. Lucas teased her for admitting that he was right. Kristen overheard Nicole telling Xander not to tell anyone that they slept together. He agreed not to say anything. Lucas’ phone started to ring. Nicole wanted to know if someone was in the room. Eli told Lani that Kristen escaped prison. He said she switched places with Susan. Lani wanted to know when that happened. He said February. He said she thought Chloe was trying to be with Brady so she switched. Lani told him that when she went to see Kristen, Kristen was acting funny. Lani said she hasn’t heard from Kristen. He said Kristen was in a lot of trouble. He said she kidnapped and assaulted Kate. Rafe told Gabi that he was going to go to the DiMera mansion to see what was going on. Gabi said she was going with him. Lucas told Sami that he was worried about Kate. Sami said Kate was going to be okay. Xander told Nicole that his phone was the one that was ringing. She reminded him that she no one could know about them. When Nicole left, Kristen told him about helping her. He said he wasn’t doing it. She said he was broke and she knew information about them. He said he didn’t care if it came out. He said Nicole was the one who didn’t want it to come out. He said he would pay money to see Eric’s face when he found out they slept together. He said she would have to kill people on her own.

Xander let Kristen know that he wasn’t going to help her. She said she couldn’t kill everyone on her own. He said she would have to. He told her it was time to leave. Nicole went to see Ava. Nicole told her she made a terrible mistake. Ava wanted to know what was wrong. Nicole said she and Eric got in an argument. She said she ended up getting drunk and cheated on him. Eli told Lani that Kate was in a coma because of Kristen. Lani said she understood what she did to Haley, but she didn’t understand why she did this. He said he wanted Kristen in custody. Lani said she hasn’t reached out to her. He asked what would happen if she did. Lani said she wouldn’t take the risk. She said she would never hurt the twins. He offered to take them to Abe’s place. Rafe and Gabi went to the DiMera mansion. He wanted to check the rest of the house. Ava asked who Nicole cheated on Eric with. Nicole said it didn’t matter. Ava said she wished she called before she did it. Nicole said she didn’t want to interrupt her date. Ava said she and Rafe would have been okay. Nicole said she made a terrible mistake. The manager at the Inn told Xander he had until the end of the day to pay the rent or he was out. Kristen offered him money to solve his problem. She said she needed proof that Sami and Lucas were dead. Rafe and Gabi saw Xander at the mansion. Xander said he was there to ask Jake for a job. Kristen listened to the message Rafe left for him. He said Kate was in a coma and Kristen was the one who did it. Sami and Lucas started arguing about wanting to get out of the cellar. Xander came in the room. Sami and Lucas thought they were getting rescued, but Xander said he had other plans for them.

Rafe said Brady was on his way to tell them when he got in a car accident. Rafe said Kristen was dangerous because people knew about her. He said they had to find her. Gabi called Rafe and told him that Kristen tried to kill Kate. Chanel talked to Lani about kissing her friend. Lani thought it was a guy until Chanel said it was a female. Lani asked if she was with girls before. Chanel said she was with a few. Lani asked if Paulina would be okay with it. Chanel said she would be. She asked Lani if she was okay with it. Lucas woke up so he and Sami talked about their kidnappings. She let Lucas know that Kate got away from Kristen. She said no one could find her. He blamed Sami for what happened to his mother since she gave in to Kristen’s blackmail. She couldn’t believe she cheated on EJ. She said she was as bad as Nicole. She said she saw her go to the Salem Inn with Xander. He didn’t think she would cheat on Eric. He could see why she did it since he wasn’t there for her. They ended up arguing about that as well as their relationship and EJ. Sami said sleeping with him was the worst mistake of her life. He told her if EJ couldn’t forgive her, then he didn’t deserve her. She was about to slap him, but he caught her hand. They ended up kissing. Chloe picked up the poker just as Kristen came from the passageway. Kristen tried to come up with excuses for why she was there. Marlena called Chloe to tell her the news about Brady. Kristen wanted to go to the hospital to see Brady. Chloe wanted to know why she was at the mansion. Kristen came up with excuses for why she was there, but she didn’t believe her. She decided to go to the cellar to check for herself. Kate walked in and caught Jake with Gabi. She was upset by what she saw. They wanted to know why she was there. She told them about Kristen pretending to be her. Gabi didn’t believe it at first. She reminded her what Kristen did when she pretended to be Nicole. Gabi realized she had a point. She told them what happened. She noticed how he jumped at the chance to be with Gabi. She left and he tried to stop her. She told him to be with Gabi.

Kate made her way downstairs and saw Kristen trying to stop Chloe from going to the tunnel. Kate told Chloe everything that Kristen did. Kristen tried to deny what she said, but Chloe believed it. She took off Kristen’s wig. She grabbed Chloe and put her in an arm lock. Gabi told Jake to go back to Kate. He told her that he meant what he said to her. He said he didn’t want to be with Kate. He wanted to be with her. She said she wanted him and not Stefan. Jake wanted to find Kate to see if she was okay. He also wanted to tell her they were finished. Brady told John how Kristen was impersonating Susan. Marlena walked in and they filled her in on Kristen. John wanted to find Kristen. Marlena thought she was in the chapel, but she was wrong. John wanted to call the police, but Brady asked her not to call them. He believed he could convince her to go back to prison. Marlena called Chloe to warn her about Kristen, but she didn’t answer. Marlena called Susan’s phone to tell her about Brady. Kristen didn’t answer the phone. She was worried about Sami so she called her too. Kristen wouldn’t answer the phone again. John and Marlena reminded Brady how Kristen was capable of hurting people. They wanted to call the police. Chloe got out of Kristen’s grip. Kristen picked up the poker and threatened Chloe and Kate. Later on, Jake walked in and saw Kate passed out on the floor. Kristen tied Chloe up and put her in the trunk of a car.

Sami was locked in the DiMera cellar. Lucas went to Rafe to report that Kate was missing. Rafe said she didn’t have to be missing. He said she could have come to her senses. Lucas said there was more. Nicole was upset that she cheated on Xander for the worst person in the world. Xander thought she was being harsh. She said she wasn’t being harsh. He told her he didn’t make her drink or sleep with him. She said he was right. He said she shouldn’t beat herself up over it. He asked her how long have Eric been gone. He told her it wasn’t her fault that she wanted to feel a man’s around her. He said he wanted to beat Eric up. Kristen dressed up as Susan at the hospital. John and Marlena told her that Brady was in an accident. Chloe thought “Susan” should have known what happened to him because she was a psychic. Marlena said he was in surgery. Kristen said she was going to find out what was going on with Brady, but John stopped her. Lucas told Rafe that he couldn’t tell him what happened with Kate. Rafe said he couldn’t help him if he didn’t tell him what was going on. Lucas said he would find her on his own. Nicole told Xander that Eric was a good person who helped people. Xander said Sarah was the same way. He said Eric and Sarah played them. He said at least Sarah dumped him while Eric left her hanging. He said Eric chose helping people over being with her. She told him he didn’t know what he was talking about. He said she wanted him as much as he wanted her.

John told Kristen to go to the chapel and pray for a long time. Marlena told her John wanted immediate family there. Kristen said Chloe wasn’t family. Marlena told her to do what John said. She said if there was any news, she would find her there. Marlena said she didn’t want her there when John came back from checking on Brady. Chloe said Susan was weird, but she seemed obsessed with Brady. Chloe noticed something was wrong with Marlena. Marlena was worried that Sami wasn’t at the hospital. Chloe asked if she tried Lucas. Marlena wanted to know why she thought Sami could have been with Lucas. Nicole told Xander that he was the last thing she wanted. He said she didn’t say that before. She said she was missing her husband. She told him she thought about Eric the whole time. He asked her if she thought of Rafe. She said she didn’t. He reminded her that she confessed to having feelings for Rafe. She wanted him to shut up. He told her she was impressed with his prowess, but she wanted Rafe. He asked if he was right. She said he was wrong. He asked if she was sure about that. She wanted to know where her phone was. He said she got a voicemail. She asked if it was from Eric. He said it was the other one. He played the message for her. Marlena asked Chloe to tell her if she knew something about Sami. Chloe told her Sami and Lucas tried to trick her into thinking that Lucas was dying. Chloe said Sami dressed up as Stan and said he was a doctor. Chloe said Lucas seemed uncomfortable with lying. Marlena asked if she was sure Lucas wasn’t sick. Chloe wasn’t sure anymore. Kristen played a message on Sami’s phone. She heard that Lucas was going to tell everyone what was going on. Lucas went to the DiMera mansion to look for Jake. He called Kate. While his back was turned, Kristen hit him with a fire poker. John and Marlena went to see Brady. Brady told them he had to tell them something about Kristen. He said Kristen wasn’t in prison. He said she got out.

Sami saw Xander and Nicole going to the Salem Inn. Sami wondered what they were doing. She ran into John and Marlena. She told them Brady was in the hospital. Kristen dressed up like a nurse and told Chloe that she was prepping Brady for surgery. Chloe told Kayla that a nurse came in to prep him for surgery. Kayla wanted to know who the nurse was. Steve showed up while Rafe was on a date. Steve wondered who he was on a date with. Ava showed up and said it was her. She said she had a problem with them being on a date. Steve said he did. Chloe told Kayla that she didn’t know the nurse’s name. Kayla said she just got Brady scheduled for surgery so it was weird that the nurse was there. John and Marlena showed up at the hospital. He asked Kayla about Brady. She said they were prepping him for surgery. John wanted to see him. While Kristen was talking to Brady, John showed up and wanted to see him. Steve told Rafe he had to speak his mind about Ava. He said he may be the only person to tell him about her. He said she was obsessed with him. He said she ruined his life. He said she threatened Kayla and terrorized his whole family. Rafe didn’t want to hear what Steve had to say, but Ava told him to let Steve finish. Steve said he didn’t want to see him go down this road with Ava. Rafe said he appreciated him looking out for him. He said he was on a date. Ava said Steve had a right to say what he said because every word was true. Xander told Nicole that she had the hots for Rafe. She said she was a married woman. He said she was all over Rafe. He told her that she was lonely and into Rafe. Nicole admitted that she was.

Ava told Steve she couldn’t deny what he said. She said she ruined his life. She said she thought she was in love with him, but it was obsession. She said she didn’t know the difference. She said she never saw love growing up. She saw her father kill her mother. She said he drugged her and manipulated her. She said it wasn’t an excuse. She wanted both of them to understand that she made mistakes. She said she would never make them again. She wanted to be a better person for her son and herself. She wanted to apologize to Steve for everything she has done to him, Kayla and his entire family. She said she was truly sorry. Sami listened outside of Xander’s room. Kristen called her so she could meet her at the park. Sami said she was busy. Kristen told her to come now or her next call was going to be to EJ. Xander told Nicole that it was funny that she was into Rafe because he was on a date. Nicole said it was to Ava. Xander thought it was funny that Rafe was on a date with Ava. Nicole said they had a right to be on a date with each other. She said she should be happy for them, but she wasn’t. Xander said it was because she was jealous. She said she was. Kristen wasn’t worried about Jake and pulled out a syringe. She planned on taking Kate to a deserted island. They fought over the syringe and Kate lost the battle. She collapsed on the floor and Kristen put her in a bag. She tried to get Kate out of the mansion when Jake stopped her. She told him they were finished and she wanted him to get out of her way. He thought she was leaving because she was in love with him. She told him that he could get together with Gabi. Susan complained about being stuck in prison when Brady arrived. He assumed she realized why he was there. He reminded her that it was Rachel’s birthday. He wanted her to sign the card. She made a slip up and said Rachel’s favorite animal was a duck. He corrected her and said it was a cat. She made a mistake and signed the card with her real name. He asked her about it and realized she was Susan. She pulled out her fake teeth. She explained how she ended up there for Kristen. He thought it was crazy, but she told him that Kristen loved him. She mentioned how Kristen was working with Vivian. Brady was even more suspicious. They knew each other from London. Nicole went to see Rafe so she could talk to him. Shawn asked Belle if she thought Jan woke up and murdered Charlie and snuck back in without anyone noticing her. Belle said she wouldn’t put anything past her. Marlena said it was possible, but she was being monitored 24/7. Belle and Shawn went to talk to Dr. Snyder to see if it was possible. Bonnie told Justin about Belle’s arrest. Jan arrived and let them know that she knew about John’s recording. Bonnie was suspicious and wanted to know how she knew about that. Jan said Belle was her enemy so she followed the case to make sure she paid for her crime. Bonnie made fun of her for still having feelings for Shawn. She thought it was funny that her name would be Jan Brady if she married Shawn. Jan said she was the poor man’s version of Adrienne. Bonnie warned her not to underestimate Belle and she walked out. Shawn and Belle went to Marlena’s place and she told them that John was at the station. John was going to be charged with obstruction of justice because of Charlie’s murder. Belle knew was looking out for her and wanted to be there for John as his lawyer. Shawn didn’t think she should do that. Marlena let them know that Justin was representing John. They questioned how the police got the recording in the first place. Marlena told them that Jan showed up that day and probably tipped off Trask. Belle thought Jan set everything up. She thought it would make sense for Jan to kill Charlie. She thought Jan wanted her to go down for her crime. Shawn told her that Jan was in a coma when Charlie was killed.

John was at the police station with Trask. She questioned him about the recording. She played the recording of him saying Belle killed Charlie. She refused to let him treat her the way he did Rafe. She wanted him to make a statement about what he said in the recording. He refused to tell her anything without his lawyer. Justin showed up and told him not to say anything. She told John that Belle had to answer for John’s recording one way or another. Trask left the interrogation room. John let Justin know that he was afraid his recording wouldn’t be thrown out of court. He didn’t want to put his daughter in prison. They were determined to find out who framed Belle for murder. Chanel went to Lani’s place looking for a place to live. Lani wasn’t sure if she should help her. Chanel realized she made a mistake marrying Xander and trying to con her mother. She told Lani that she didn’t have anyone else since her mother hated her and Theo was gone. Lani wouldn’t let her move in, but she was going to help her find a job. Lani suggested she work at the police station. Chanel didn’t want to work with cops. She also suggested she be a nanny. Chanel felt it was too domestic for her. She explained that their age differences were a factor. “Kate” told him that she was going to quit and move out of the mansion. He refused to accept that and tried to stop her from going. Roman interrupted them to stop their fight. He was determined to find out what happened. Jake walked off so he told “Kate” they could get back together. He wondered if she considered getting back together with him. Chad was happy that Abby was willing to work on their marriage. She told him that Gabi was the one who convinced her to make her marriage work. Chad was surprised that she talked to Gabi. Abby didn’t have anyone else to talk to so she wanted to talk to someone who hated Gwen as much as she did. Abby wasn’t able to forget that he was having a child with Gwen. He said that it happens all of the time. She wanted to be alone. She asked the doctor whether she was having a boy or a girl. The doctor told her that she would have had a girl. Ben told Claire he didn’t go through with kidnapping Ciara. He decided to let her go. Claire hugged him and he started crying. She knew Ciara would get her memory back and would come back to her. He didn’t know what to do anymore. He said Ciara was his life and he didn’t know what to do anymore. Gwen arrived at the DiMera mansion looking for Chad. She ran into Abby and she was upset with her. Gwen told Jack that she was keeping the baby because of the way she was raised. He told her he felt guilty about what happened to her. She told him not to feel guilty. Gabi told Abby she felt bad for her. Abby asked if she would help her out. Gabi didn’t know what to do. Abby said Gwen wouldn’t have an abortion. She said she didn’t know how to move on with her life. Gabi told her she didn’t know the answer to that or she would be able to move on from Jake.

Gwen told Jack that she talked to Chad about keeping the baby. Jack asked about Abby. She said she tried to tell Abby how she felt, but she didn’t want to listen to her. She told him that she pointed out that Belle’s button was missing. She said Belle didn’t notice. She said Belle killed Charlie. Shawn said she didn’t kill Charlie and he was going to prove that she didn’t. He said Melinda needed to drop the charges against her. Melinda said she wasn’t going to drop the charges. Belle told John and Marlena that Sami was the one who killed Charlie. Belle said Sami hated her enough to frame her. Marlena said Sami didn’t hate her. Belle said Sami did hate her. Sami came out and wanted to know what they were talking about. Belle told her that she framed her. When Theo and Ciara were about to leave the hospital, Ben showed up. Chanel asked her to give him the money so she could end her marriage. Paulina told her it wasn’t her fault she ended up with him and not a rich man. He tried to negotiate with Paulina. Chanel pleaded with her to let get out of her marriage. Xander agreed to lower his price to one million dollars. Paulina finally agreed to write him a check. He noticed the check wasn’t the million he wanted. She told him that he didn’t deserve what she gave him. He had to take it or leave it. He agreed to take it. Chanel didn’t understand what he did accepting one hundred thousand dollars. She said they had to split that in half. Paulina wanted to know what she meant.

Claire thought Jan should go to jail and didn’t believe Belle made the deal with her. Jan showed her the proof that Belle did make the deal with her. She said she didn’t hate Belle anymore. She also said she didn’t want to be with Shawn anymore. Jan thought she should be glad that Charlie was out of her life for good. Claire reminded her that she didn’t sign anything to keep her from going to jail. John was still under hypnosis so Marlena questioned him about what he saw. John remembered opening Charlie’s door and seeing someone in a red coat shooting him. He was in agony so Marlena asked him what he saw. He said something about camp a so she brought him out of hypnosis. John couldn’t believe he saw Charlie get murdered. She wanted to know who shot Charlie. He told her it was Belle who did it. He told her how she was wearing the red coat they gave her for Valentine’s Day. Marlena didn’t believe Belle would do it. John reminded her how she caught Charlie trying to kill Claire. He said that Belle was upset after what he did. He asked her if she remembered what Belle wore the night Charlie died. She realized Belle was wearing the red coat. John couldn’t believe Belle killed Charlie. Marlena was convinced she didn’t do it. She wanted to find Belle so they could get some answers. Jan walked in and asked why they needed answers. Jan talked to John and Marlena about the good news. They already knew about the deal Belle made with her. She knew they wanted her to go to jail. John told her to leave. She assured them that she wasn’t a threat to Belle and Shawn anymore. She said she was just with Claire and found out about Charlie. She knew they were on the same page about Charlie’s death. She figured they were happy that he was killed. Marlena let her know that they were thrilled that Belle made the deal with her. They were done talking to her, but she went back to Marlena’s office. She found her recorder and wondered what they discussed. Belle talked to Rafe and Shawn about the button from her coat. She didn’t know what happened to the button. Rafe said he had the button. He let them know that they had the button with the evidence found in his apartment. Rafe wanted to know why she was at Charlie’s apartment. She told him that she never went to Charlie’s apartment before so she didn’t know why the button was there. Trask arrived and took the coat and the button. She was surprised he solved the case so quickly. Trask wanted him to arrest Belle. Shawn said that the jacket wasn’t proof Belle did anything. He thought Trask was just trying to keep her job.

Trask informed Shawn that Belle had a restraining order against Charlie. She thought Belle still considered Charlie a threat to her daughter. Trask was convinced the case was open and shut. She asked Belle if she had an alibi for the night of the murder. Belle told her that she was at home all night. She said Shawn was with her and only left for a short time. Trask explained how Belle could have committed the crime. Belle insisted she was innocent. Trask told her that she had the opportunity to kill him. She wanted Rafe and Shawn to do their job or else. Shawn wouldn’t let Rafe arrest Belle. Trask told him that it wasn’t his decision to make. Allie went to see Claire. Claire told her about Belle making the deal with Jan. Allie wanted to give her some time to process what happened. Claire was glad that John wouldn’t go to jail. John and Marlena arrived to talk to Belle. Allie left so they were alone with Claire. They talked to her about why they wanted to see Belle. She thought they were there because of the deal Belle made with Jan. She told them Belle wasn’t home. Marlena called Shawn and he told them the news about Belle being arrested for killing Charlie. Rafe read Belle her rights. Shawn watched everything unfolding in disbelief. Jan listened to Marlena’s recording. She heard John talking about the person in the red coat shooting Charlie. There was a shot of the person shooting Charlie. The camera panned to the person wearing the red coat. It turned out to be Jan wearing the coat. She smiled to herself as she remembered shooting Charlie.
