Marlena let John know that Belle made a deal with Jan. John was upset because he didn’t want her to be free to go after his family. They changed the subject and talked about Charlie’s murder. He wanted Marlena to hypnotize him. He wanted to remember what he did the night Charlie died. She didn’t want to do it, but she agreed to do it. She hoped she wouldn’t regret it. He wanted Marlena to record their session. She wanted it to be off the record, but he insisted she record the session. She pressed record so John started talking about what happened that night. He walked in the apartment and heard Charlie tell someone not to shoot him. He heard the gun go off at that point. He saw Charlie fall on the floor. He noticed someone wearing a red hooded coat. The person had the hood on their head. He came oit of hypnosis and didn’t like what he remembered. Claire went to see Jan at the hospital. She returned her healing crystals to her. She wanted Jan to rot in prison after what she did to her mother. Claire was about to leave when Jan stopped her. She apologized for what she did. She revealed to Claire that she was lonely. She told her that she was all she had. Jan thought she was replaced with Ciara. Claire let her know that Ciara hated her. Jan asked her if she wanted to be friends with her again. She reminded her how she helped her with Charlie. Claire told her how Charlie was a rapist and he died. Jan was shocked. She confessed that she was raped when she was younger. Claire was shocked by her news. Jan thought Charlie’s killer deserved a medal. Jan let her know that Belle was the reason why she wasn’t going to prison.

Belle met with Shawn at the police station. She told him about the deal she made with Jan. He was afraid Jan would try to get to Claire now. Shawn was going to arrest Jan anyway. She told him that her father would go to jail too. He didn’t want to worry about Jan coming after them. Trask went to see Rafe. She wanted him to solve Charlie’s murder. He told her that he would solve it. She wasn’t happy about the way he was handling the suspects. They went over the evidence in the case. He found a red button that wasn’t with the evidence before. Trask thought they would find the killer once they found the owner of the jacket. After Rafe talked to Trask, he saw Shawn and Belle. They told her about the deal Belle made with Jan. Rafe understood why she made the deal. He wished she talked to him before she made the deal. Belle put on her coat and Rafe noticed the missing button. She said Jan told her about the missing button. He took the button out of the evidence bag. He let them know that the button was found at Charlie’s apartment.

Sami told Lucas someone knew that they slept together. Chloe told Kristen that she told Brady how she felt about him. Theo stopped Ben from giving Ciara a serum. Ben wanted to explain what he was doing, but Ciara didn’t want to hear it. Ben told Ciara that she wasn’t trying to kill her. Theo asked what was in the needle. Ben said it was to help her get her memory back. She wanted to know why Marlena wasn’t giving it to her. Theo said he heard of the serum, but it had side effects. Ben said Rolf fixed it. He said she would learn the truth about them and remember their love. Brady confronted Nicole about her telling Chloe to tell him how she felt. Nicole wanted to know how it went. He told her that Chloe insulted Kristen. Nicole wanted to know what he said to Chloe. Chloe told Kristen what she told Brady about her. Kristen wanted to know how Brady reacted o it. Chloe said she reminded him about how jealous he was when he thought she slept with Philip. Sami told Lucas that Susan saw them together. He thought she would be able to handle Susan. Sami told him that Kristen was Susan.

Gabi told Philip about her history with Julie. He was surprised that she wasn’t arrested. He said they were kindred spirits. He said he had secrets of his own. He told her about his past with Chloe. Brady told Nicole he wasn’t going to let Chloe trash the mother of his child. Nicole didn’t understand why he didn’t. He said he loved Kristen. Nicole didn’t understand why. She asked him if he felt something for Chloe. Kristen told Chloe that Brady didn’t want to reject her for why he left. Sami told Lucas that Kristen has been masquerading as Susan for weeks. He wanted to know why she outted herself. Sami said she needed her help. She said Kristen was worried that Chloe was going after Brady. He wanted to know why Kristen asked for her help. Sami said she was blackmailing her. Ciara was upset with Ben for trying to give her an experimental drug without her permission. She told him she never wanted to see him again. He said he wished she knew how much he loved her. She said she should be glad that he didn’t have a necktie with him. She said her grandfather told her that he was responsible for what happened to her. She asked if that was true. He said he loved her. She said she was tired of hearing it. She wanted him to leave. She said she never wanted to see him again. When he was about to leave, he was going to stab her with the syringe. Theo stopped him from stabbing her. Jake and Kate saw Philip and Gabi at Julie’s. Gabi asked if they were following them. Brady told Nicole that Chloe asked if he returned her feelings. Nicole said he hesitated when he answered. He said even if he felt something for Chloe he wasn’t going to turn his back on Kristen. Chloe told Kristen that Brady would have said he didn’t have feelings for her. Kristen told her Brady was in love with her. Lucas told Sami that she had the upper hand. She said Kristen would tell EJ that she slept with him. Theo told Ben to get out of Ciara’s room. Ben asked if he would like that. Theo said it was about what Ciara wanted. Ben said he loved Ciara and would love her forever. When he was about to leave, she stopped him. Brady told Nicole that he promised to wait for Kristen. He said he wasn’t going to tell the mother of his child that he was dumping her for Chloe. Nicole said she would do it. He said he wasn’t leaving Kristen. Nicole said Kristen didn’t change. She said he and Rachel would be better off without Kristen. When Chloe was sick of talking to Kristen, she left the townhouse. Kristen said Chloe wasn’t stealing the man she loved. Ben asked if Ciara remembered him. She told him not to get closer. She gave him the wedding picture. She said she didn’t want to see the picture or him ever again.

Gwen told Jack that she was pregnant with Chad’s child. She was surprised that Jack was staying by her side. He said he wasn’t going to desert her now. Abby walked in while they were talking. Abby told Jack that she knew why he wasn’t answering her calls or texts. She wanted Gwen to tell her the truth. Gwen told her she was pregnant. Philip wanted to talk to Gabi about what happened. She didn’t know what he was talking about. He told her that she put her hand on his knee. She said she did that for Kate’s sake. He said he was too. He said he noticed Jake’s reaction. She said she noticed it too. He said it was great seeing their faces when they found out that they lost the Gabi Chic deal. He asked her out to dinner so they could celebrate. Chad talked to Theo about sleeping with Gwen. Chad told Theo that he thought he lost Abby for good, but he didn’t. He said they were doing everything they could to make their marriage work. Theo wanted to know how they were going to make that work when Gwen was Abby’s sister. Chad said Gwen was making amends with the family. Jack told Abby that Gwen was pregnant. Abby thought Gwen was capable of faking a pregnancy test. Jack said he was there when she took the test. Abby asked if she was in the bathroom with her. He said she was pregnant. Gwen said it was Chad’s baby. Justin went to see Ciara. He had a card from Victor. Jake asked Ben how it went with Ciara. Ben said he told Ciara how they met and were engaged. He said Ciara didn’t remember anything at all. Jake asked if he gave up. Ben said he asked Marlena to hypnotize her. Jake thought it was great. Ben said it wasn’t great because Ciara only remembered being trapped in the cabin. Ben said Ciara didn’t want to go through hypnosis again. Jake told him to try the serum. Philip told Gabi that he wanted the dinner to be a date. She didn’t think that would be a good idea because they worked together. He said she did that in the past. He also thought she wasn’t into him because she was still hung up on Jake. Ben told Jake that Marlena told him the serum was dangerous. He said he loved Ciara, but not enough to risk her life. Jake asked if he wanted to get Ciara back. Justin told Ciara that Eve tried to blow up her wedding to Ben. She thought Eve did that because Ben killed her daughter. She told Justin that she hated Ben and didn’t want anything to do with him. She was upset that so many people thought it was okay that she was with Ben. Theo talked to Chad about Ciara not remembering Ben. Chad and Theo talked about Ben not being a good guy. Abby didn’t believe that Gwen was pregnant with Chad’s baby. Gwen understood why Abby didn’t believe her after everything she did to her. Gwen said she was trying to make amends with her. She said she wanted to move on and have a relationship with her. She said finding out that she was pregnant with Chad’s child was the last thing she wanted. Abby told her she needed to terminate it if that was true.

Abby told Gwen she should terminate the pregnancy since she didn’t want to have Chad’s baby. Jack said they should calm down. Abby said Gwen wanted to make amends. She said she would take her to the office. She said they would take care of the problem right now. Theo told Chad that he wanted to be with Ciara, but she was still married. Justin told Ciara that by the time she and Ben got engaged, he thought they were in love. She thought he should have said something because Ben was a killer. Justin told her that Ben turned his life around. She said he couldn’t turn his life around after murdering three people. Jake told Ben that he had the serum and didn’t have any side effects. Jake told him he would make a call and find out how Kate got her hands on Will’s drug. Gabi told Philip that Jake didn’t appreciate what a woman like her had to offer. She said she wasn’t used to getting dumped. She said she gave Jake a chance to make a choice, but he chose Kate. She said she wanted to get past her feelings. Philip said the only way to get past an old relationship was to start a new one. He said they would be good together. He said they were age appropriate. She thought dinner was too much pressure. She asked him to go to lunch with her. He agreed to go. Ben asked Jake how he was supposed to convince Ciara to take the serum. He said Ciara hated him and didn’t want him to be near her. Jake said he had to figure it out himself. Ben said he tried the hypnosis. Jake said that didn’t work. Ben said he didn’t want Ciara to get hurt. Jake said he had his back no matter what he did. Ben told Jake to call Kate. Abby told Gwen that she would make the call to the clinic. Jack said it was hard for Gwen to take in. Abby said Gwen was pregnant with her husband’s baby and it was hard for her to take in. Abby said the only thing to take away the horror was to end the pregnancy. Abby told her she better do it. Jack told Gwen that it was her decision to make. He said Abby didn’t have the right to make the decision. Abby went to the DiMera mansion and told Chad that Gwen was pregnant with his child. Gwen told Jack that the baby she was having was her decision. She said Abby thought it was her decision. He said Abby was upset. He said to give her a chance to calm down and she would realize that it wasn’t her choice. He said if she did decide to terminate the pregnancy, he would be there to support her. He asked her if she wanted to have the baby.

Chloe talked to Nicole about why she wanted to work from home. She told her how she wasn’t sure if Susan told Brady how she felt about him. Chloe thought she should respect his relationship with Kristen. Nicole believed she shouldn’t do that. She thought Chloe could make Brady happier than Kristen ever could. She advised her to tell Brady how she felt. Chloe was afraid she would be hurt again. Kristen talked to Brady about Rachel. She was glad that he listened to her advice about staying away from Chloe. She pumped him to find out if he was still in love with her. He said he still loved her, but noticed some distance between them. He talked to her about his last visit at the prison. He thought Kristen didn’t feel the same way about him anymore either. She tried to convince him not to give up on Kristen. She was about to tell him something when Nicole called him to come to the office. Brady left to meet Nicole. Kristen was upset.

Nicole let Chloe know that Brady was on his way there so she could talk to Brady about how she felt. Nicole left and Chloe was about to leave too when Brady arrived. Sami was shocked by what she and Lucas did. Lucas said sorry for taking advantage of her. She was fine with it. She thought he was sweet and was there for her. She enjoyed being in his arms. She didn’t want anyone to know they were together. She didn’t know what EJ would do if he found out about them being together. She said she loved EJ and wanted to work on her marriage. She couldn’t believe she was unfaithful to EJ. She cried in Lucas’ arms. Lucas promised not to say anything. He told her how Susan let him in last night. Sami got nervous and wanted him to get dressed. Sami tried to get Lucas out of the townhouse. Kristen saw Sami and wondered what happened. Xander woke up next to Chanel. He couldn’t remember what happened the night before. He wanted to know if they hooked up. She told him how he was upset about Sarah and she comforted him. She said she would help him get over Sarah. He got up to take something for his headache and noticed he was wearing a kilt. He wondered why he was wearing his wedding kilt. She showed him the ring on her finger. He noticed she was wearing Sarah’s engagement ring. She told him that he gave it to her. He told her that she could sell the ring. She told him that she wouldn’t sell it because he proposed to her with it. He thought it was the alcohol that made him do it. She assured him that he was fine when he said his vows. She let him know they were married. She told him how he thought marrying her would help him get over Sarah. She showed him their marriage license. He wanted to fix what they did.

Chad and Abby talked about her confrontation with Gwen. Abby told him that she threw up on her when tried to call a truce. He asked if he thought there was another reason. She asked what other reason there would be for her to throw up. Gwen told Jack that she was pregnant. She said the last person she slept with was Chad. She said she thought he was really sorry. She said she might have provoked him. She said he wasn’t let off the hook. She said if Belle pressed charges against her, she was going to press them against him. Belle told Marlena that she didn’t think John should have gone to see Jan. Belle said John wasn’t going to hurt Jan. Marlena said John’s aneurysm was unpredictable. Belle said he had it under control. When Marlena reacted, Belle asked if he had it under control. Ava told Rafe that she was afraid Tripp killed Charlie. She told him that she was raised not to trust cops. She said she was afraid she was going to lose Tripp again. Tripp told Steve he wanted to talk to him about the night Charlie died. Lucas went to see Sami to tell her goodbye. She thought he was going somewhere. He said she was going back to EJ. She said if Belle pressed charges against her she was going to press charges against him. He said he couldn’t guarantee that she wouldn’t press charges. She said the conversation was over. John told Belle that Jan was going to press charges against him if Belle pressed charges against her. Belle said she was going to make a deal with Jan. Marlena said there was no guarantee that Jan would go through with it. He said he wasn’t going to let her get away with what she did. Sami told Lucas that she didn’t think EJ would be EJ again. Rafe and Ava went to Steve and Kayla place to see Tripp. Steve and Tripp came home when they were there. Ava told Tripp that she told Rafe what happened. Tripp said he knew she did it to protect him.

Tripp implied to Ava that she killed Charlie. Ava said she didn’t kill Charlie. She said she told Rafe that she saw him leave the building. Sami told Lucas that things changed between her and EJ. She said she shouldn’t be telling him about it. He said he was on her side. She said the pain has been hard on EJ. She said she understood what he was going through, but it felt as if he was mad at her. She said it wasn’t the pain. She said there was something twisted up inside of him. Lucas told her that she has done everything she could to help EJ. She said that wasn’t true. He said she did everything she could to help her. John told Belle to call Shawn and press charges against Jan. He said he wanted charges pressed against Jan. He wanted a picture of her mug shot. Belle went to see Jan. Jan asked Belle if she thought John’s apology would be his get out of jail free card. Belle said he only did what anyone who ever met her wanted to do. Belle told her that she wouldn’t press charges against her if she didn’t press charges against her father. Ava told Tripp that she saw him leave Charlie’s building. She said she thought he did it. Tripp said he went to see him. He said Charlie didn’t answer him. He said he didn’t shoot him. Rafe was upset that everyone lied about what happened. He said if they didn’t lie they could have found out who killed Charlie. Jan asked Belle if John was okay with her decision. Belle said it was her decision. Belle gave Jan a contract to sign saying she wouldn’t press charges against her and Jan wouldn’t press charges against John. Sami told Lucas that no one understood EJ the way she did. She said EJ didn’t want to touch her anymore. She said she had to come to terms with the fact that she was never going to be loved again. Lucas told her she was a wonderful woman. They ended up kissing each other.

Kate had dinner with Allie and Philip. They talked about Allie and Sami being cleared for Charlie’s murder. He wondered if Allie was relieved Charlie was dead. She wasn’t happy about it. He asked her if she wanted the person who shot him to go to jail. Allie had to check on Henry. Ava told Nicole that she was upset Rafe wouldn’t drop Charlie’s murder investigation. She told her that she didn’t want Rafe to find out that Tripp was at Charlie’s place. Nicole didn’t like the idea of lying to Rafe. Ava planned on confessing to what happened if she said anything. Nicole promised not to say anything. Allie showed up at the apartment after Ava left. She let Nicole know that she thought Tripp killed Charlie. She didn’t want to accuse him of another crime. She decided not to say anything about it until she had proof. Nicole wanted her to get proof. She thought it would be better for Tripp if he came clean about what happened. Gabi talked to Rafe about the murder investigation. Gabi believed that Ava was the one who killed Charlie. She said she saw Ava slip out the night of the murder.

Ava showed up at the house after Gabi left. Rafe wanted to know why she lied to him about the night of Charlie’s murder. She told him that she had trouble sleeping so she left. Rafe wanted to know where she went and told her not to lie to him. She confessed that she went to Charlie’s apartment. He wanted to know if she killed Charlie. She told him that she didn’t kill him. She told him everything that happened when she went there except for seeing Tripp. Rafe was sorry she had to watch her son die. She talked to him about the way she treated Charlie. Rafe wanted to know why he didn’t tell her about Charlie being dead. She said she was too upset to talk about it. He thought there was something she didn’t tell him. Gwen showed up at the Horton house to talk to Jack and Abby. Gwen started talking about what she did wrong. She apologized for everything she did. Abby thought she was a liar. She asked her why she would believe anything she said. Jack convinced Abby to apologize to Gwen. Abby gave her an insincere apology. She blamed Gwen for what she did. Abby admitted that she was wrong for trying to drug her. Jack knew it wasn’t much, but he said it was a start. Gwen held out her hand for Abby to shake it, but she just looked at it. Jack asked Abby to end the feud for her family. He didn’t want her to be consumed with revenge. Abby wanted Gwen to swear that what happened to her grandmother was an accident. Gwen hesitated before she answered. She ended up throwing up on Abby. Abby was upset and thought it was a stunt. She walked out of the house. Gwen told Jack she wasn’t trying to pull a stunt. Jack wanted to get something to help her. He thought she might have ate something that didn’t agree with her. She thought she could be pregnant. Abby went home and let Chad know what happened with Jack and Gwen. She said she would never forgive her for what she did.

Chad and Abby came back from their therapy session. She thought talking about Gwen helped her. She did end up getting heated over him. Jack called her to talk. Abby left to see her father. Gwen showed up at the mansion after Abby left. She let Chad know that Jack called Abby because he knew what she did to her. Chad realized that Gwen was trying to get Jack to disown Abby. Gwen knew that plan wouldn’t work because of the things he did. Chad was suspicious of her and wondered what she was trying to do. Gwen said she wasn’t up to anything. She was hoping to have a relationship with her father and one day with her sister. She did say she wanted to talk to him. She said she was sorry for using him to get revenge on Abby. She didn’t think he deserved what she did to him and wanted him to forgive her. He accepted her apology. She wondered if Abby would accept her apology too. Chad wasn’t sure if she would ever forgive her.

Abby met with Jack. He let her know that he knew about what she did to Gwen. Abby defended her actions by reminding him what Gwen did to her. Jack wanted to help her get over what happened and heal with Gwen. He didn’t want to her to forgive Gwen. He just wanted her to consider making peace with Gwen. She reminded him how she killed Laura. Jack said it was an accident. He wanted her to move on with her life. Theo talked to Julie about Ciara’s hypnosis. Julie didn’t know anything, but she hoped it worked. He was afraid that her memories wouldn’t all be good. Ciara was upset when she found out Claire set the fire. Marlena tried to calm her down but she left the room. She ran into the hall and saw Claire consoling Ben. She made a remark about the killers being together. Ciara told Claire about trying to kill her. Claire tried to defend herself but she made things worse because she admitted she tried to kill her more than once. Ben tried to touch her, but she didn’t want him to touch her. He wanted to know if she remembered anything. She angrily told him that she didn’t remember anything. Claire begged her not to be mad at Ben. She wanted her to try to remember him. Ciara said she hated both of them and ran off. Marlena went back to her room and apologized to her for the way the session went. Ciara asked her not to hypnotize her again. Marlena wouldn’t do it again. Ciara asked to use her phone.

Ben talked to Marlena in the hallway about Ciara getting hypnotized. She warned him that it might not work. She said she might not remember him. He was aware of the risk, but he had faith that she would remember their love. He said he had faith in her too. She asked him if he wanted to go to the hospital and wait until Ciara’s session was done. Claire and Theo talked about Ciara being alive. She wondered if Theo had feelings for Ciara. He said he didn’t and told her how he broke up with someone who was in Salem. Ben called Claire to tell her about Ciara just as she was about to tell Theo about the crazy girl she met. She left to meet with Ben while Theo thought about Ciara. Chanel saw Theo at the town square just as Abe walked by them. Theo introduced them to each other. Abe had to go to a meeting. Chanel found out that Theo was going back to South Africa. She thought about her mother telling her to get a job. She wondered if she could go with him and they could live together. He thought she was up to something. She said she wasn’t up to anything. Lani and Eli walked by and saw them together. Lani mentioned how they were connected to each other. She also let it slip that Paulina cut her off financially. Theo thought that was why she wanted him back in her life. He walked away from the table. Ava told Nicole that she went to see Charlie. John told Marlena that Sami and Allie to kill Charlie. He asked what if it were him. Marlena didn’t want to jump to any conclusions. He said he was angry and wanted to put a cap in him. While he was talking, Belle showed up. He said they heard Jan was awake. Belle said Jan was going to press charges against John if Shawn arrested her. Allie asked Tripp what he did. Sami went to see Allie. Ava told Nicole that Tripp was at Charlie’s apartment. Nicole said they had to tell that Sami didn’t kill Charlie. Rafe walked in and wanted to know what they were talking about. The doctor allowed it so Belle wanted to go with Shawn. They talked to her about kidnapping Belle. She said she didn’t remember how long she was in the hospital. They told her what she did. She said she didn’t remember any of it. They continued to remind her what she did. Jan remembered John strangling her. She warned them that John would go down if she went down. Marlena talked to John about Jan waking up. He was upset because of what she did to Belle. He remembered how he strangled her so he could watch her die. She tried to calm him down so they changed the subject. He started going off about Charlie. He admitted that he went to Charlie’s place the night he was killed. He wanted to go off on him for what he did to Allie and Claire. Marlena was glad he blacked out before he went in the apartment. John wasn’t sure if he went inside because he heard a shot.

Nicole showed up just as Tripp was about to talk to Anna about the night Charlie was killed. Trip left to check on Allie and Henry. Nicole apologized to Ava for accusing her of killing her son. She admitted she went to Charlie’s place the night he was killed. She saw him on the floor when she walked in the apartment. She admitted he was still alive when she saw him. She said she held him in her lap and he said he loved her. He pleaded with her to say it back to him. She said she loved him. She said he died just as she told him how she felt. She didn’t tell anyone because she saw Tripp leave the apartment before she went inside. Tripp went to see Allie and she told him how her mother was still being charged with Charlie’s murder. She heard Henry crying but couldn’t make him stop. She felt like a bad mother. He assured her that she was a good mother. She couldn’t believe he was being nice to her after what she did to her. He said everything was Charlie’s fault. He felt bad that he was given love, but his brother didn’t get it. Rafe told Sami that Trask wasn’t going to drop the charges against her. Sami demanded Rafe find out who really killed Charlie. He said he was trying, but Trask was making it hard by watching over his shoulder. Sami admitted she was scared. Rafe thought she should be, but he was going to prove that she’s innocent. She thanked him for what he did for her. He opened the file and checked out the evidence. He found out that Charlie died while she was on the plane. Rafe let Trask know about the evidence and the charges would be dropped against Sami.

Xander and Bonnie went to the Salem Inn and started making out with each other. He was tired of role playing, but she was ready for more. He wanted them to be themselves, but she wasn’t interested. He remembered how she made him feel better after what happened with Sarah. In the next fantasy, Sami approached John while he was strapped to a table. He was prepared to be executed. She had a syringe in her hand and he told her that he needed an executioner. She told him she went after the job the second she heard he was on death row. He was sentenced to death for killing Marlena. He told her that he didn’t remember what happened. In the next fantasy, Belle and Philip were a couple. They snuggled together when Claire arrived. Belle told them that she felt good about John getting a stay of execution. She wanted to see John. Philip wanted to make breakfast for his daughter. They recently discovered that he was her father. He wanted to know about the tour she went on with Chloe. She didn’t like being an assistant. Chloe said she would let her sing on the next album, but she wouldn’t do it. Claire asked him to pull some strings for her since he’s Chloe’s producer.

In the next scene, Claire asked Chloe about getting studio time with her. Chloe wanted her to get her something to drink leaving her alone with Philip. She said the person he killed was Hattie. She said she tried to take over her life again. Sami said he still killed someone. John said it was only Hattie. Sami freed John. She was upset that she didn’t get to kill him so she stabbed Belle. In the next fantasy, Jan woke up and Shawn was in her room. He told her that she was in a coma for a year. He wanted her to tell him what happened to her. She let him know that John went nuts at their wedding and attacked her. He said John’s fate was sealed and that he wasn’t with Belle anymore. Jan felt he deserved better than Belle. She told him about the things she did for love. She grabbed his hand and he jumped up. She wanted him to stay. Claire arrived to see Jan. Shawn left them alone. She wanted to talk to Jan about Chloe. Jan gave her advice about what to do about Chloe. Claire left and Shawn returned wearing his baseball uniform. He realized she was right about the way she loved him. He admitted he had feelings for her and thought they should try to be together. Claire went to the townhouse and saw Chloe with Philip. She gave Chloe some coffee and it killed her. She changed into ghoul girl too. Philip was going to make her a star. In the next fantasy, Kayla was pregnant and Steve was taking care of her. She wasn’t happy about carrying Stefano’s essence, but she couldn’t get rid of the baby. Her water broke so she let Steve know the baby was coming. She ended up giving birth, but the baby was born with a goatee. Steve went to get some food for the baby, but Kayla said the baby ran away. They looked all over the DiMera mansion for the baby. They faced the camera and yelled “April Fools Day”. The fantasies ended and Shawn met Belle at the hospital. She told him that Jan was coming out of her coma. Jan opened her eyes.

Belle said she was at the hospital to visit Ciara. Marlena said she didn’t remember anything. She said she was going to hypnotize her to get her memory back. Belle asked if that would work. Marlena said it could work. Theo ran into Chanel. He reminded her that she broke up with him. She said it was mutual. Belle went to see Ciara. Ciara told her that she felt like herself, but everyone else around her changed. Ciara said she was glad she had her family. Belle said they all missed her especially Claire. Ciara said Claire loved her so much that she tired to sleep with her boyfriend Tripp. Brady told Chloe about what happened when he went to visit “Kristen.” He told her that Vivian was looking out for her. He told her that Vivian told him not to visit “Kristen.” He said “Kristen” agreed to it. Belle told Ciara that Claire did terrible things to her, but Claire wanted to be friends with her again. Ciara said she thought Marlena sent her there, but she realized Claire did it. Belle said she came on her own. She suggested that Ciara do the hypnosis so she could get her memory back.

Kristen told Vivian that Brady was visiting Susan. Vivian asked her if she did anything to break up Jake and Kate. Ciara told Theo that she was couldn’t believe she would marry Ben. Ben went to see Marlena to find out if she could help Ciara get her memory back. Marlena told him that he had to wait until the amnesia went away. He asked her if they could give Ciara the drug Will took to get his memory back. Kate was still upset that Gabi was helping Philip. Gabi ended up inviting her and Jake to dinner. He was expanding his businesses in Chicago. He wondered if she wanted to talk about it over dinner. She reminded him that she was getting over someone. He insisted it would just be a business dinner. She told him that Gabi Chic was all she had and didn’t want to jeopardize it. He understood what she meant. She changed her mind and agreed to go to dinner with him. Xander showed up at the pub looking for Rex. He wanted to get Sarah back from him. Roman informed him that Rex and Sarah left down. Xander wanted a drink, but Roman wouldn’t serve him since he was drunk. Roman wanted him to leave, but Xander got in his face. Philip and Gabi arrived at the pub and saw what happened with Xander and Roman. Philip tried to stop the exchange. Xander ended up punching Philip. Roman ordered Xander to leave the pub. Xander didn’t want to be there any more than Roman wanted him there. He wanted Sarah back. Gabi invited Philip to the DiMera mansion.

Jake found Kate lying on the bed with an ice pack on her head. She was feeling tension because of her gun being missing and Rex leaving town with Sarah. She knew Xander wouldn’t accept Rex being with Sarah. Jake thought he changed because he fell in love. Kate rolled her eyes at that. Jake offered to get a couple guys to send Xander a message. Statesville called him to let know visiting hours started. He wanted to heart what Chloe had to say. She didn’t think it was the right time to talk about it. Brady invited her to dinner at John and Marlena’s house. Marlena noticed “Susan” and asked her where she was last night. She thought about what she did to Sarah. She told Marlena that she surprised Roger while he was on tour. She wanted to know if she could stay with Marlena a little while longer. Marlena tried to get out of it by telling her that things were complicated. “Susan” agreed to be her right hand woman. She finally agreed to stay. She invited her to have dinner with them and Brady. Susan called Kristen and told her that she wanted to get out of the prison. She said she missed Roger. Susan wanted to know when they were switching back. Kristen said she needed more time because Chloe admitted she was in love with Brady. She was afraid that Chloe would go after him if she left now. Marlena came back in the room so she had to be Susan again. Marlena had to check on her patient. Chloe arrived for dinner and Kristen wasn’t happy about it. Rafe showed up at the station and when to the interrogation room. Sami and Lucas told him everything they knew about Charlie’s murder. She admitted that she only confessed because she was protecting her daughter. She thought things were fine because they were innocent. Rafe wished they told him the truth in the first place. He believed Sami, but he said it was out of his hands. She didn’t mean to get him involved and wished she did tell him the truth sooner. Rafe went to talk to Trask. She said she crashed her father’s bike, which was why she was there. He said the crash was the beginning of their love story. The christening was over and everyone decided to meet at Julie’s Place. Valerie told Paulina that Julie expected to be the godmother. Paulina said Julie had enough. Valerie said Julie was and Eli were close so he wanted her to be the godmother. Paulina thought she should still be the godmother. Claire talked to Theo about Ciara only remembering what happened when she was with Tripp. Julie and Doug went to see Ciara. Ciara wanted to know why Ben said they loved each other. Julie and Doug told her that Ben got medication. Ciara wanted to know why Ben was saying that they loved each other. When Doug started to tell her, Julie stopped him. Ciara wanted to know what Kayla said. Ben talked to Jake about Ciara not remembering him. Ben was worried that Ciara may never get her memory back. Jake said she would get it back. He said he had a way to get her memory back.

Jack talked to Jennifer about what Abby did to Gwen. He didn’t talk to Abby yet, but he found it hard to believe she would hurt Gwen. Jennifer understood why Abby would want to hurt her after what she did to the family. He was concerned about Abby’s reaction when he let her know that he couldn’t turn his back on Gwen. Jennifer let Jack know that Gwen wasn’t her favorite person, but she believed they would get through the drama together. Gwen ran into Claire and was happy to see her. Unfortunately, Claire wasn’t happy to see her. She let Gwen know that she heard about what she did to Abby. She told Claire how Abby tried to drug her too. Claire thought she used her to go after her family. She let her know that she didn’t realize they were family when she went after Abby. Gwen considered her a friend. She was about to leave when Claire stopped her. Claire realized she wasn’t in a position to judge her. Gwen wanted to know if they were still friends. Claire was willing to be her friend as long as she didn’t hurt Abby again. She told her that she had the same arrangement with Jack.

Paulina went to see Lani. She thanked her for naming her the godmother of Jules. Lani told her that she wasn’t who they had in mind for Jules’ godmother. Paulina assumed they were going to ask her mother to do it. Paulina was fine with that decision. She left before Lani could tell her the truth. Abby went to Gabi’s room to ask her for her help with Gwen. Gabi refused to help her. Abby promised to help her get Jake. She told Abby that Jake made his decision on who he wanted. She decided to move on with her life. Abby continued to persuade her to help her go after Gwen. Gabi warned her that she would lose everything if she didn’t stop going after Gwen. Gabi knew about getting revenge, but it made her feel empty. She advised Abby to think about her kids. She refused to help her and wanted her to leave her room.  Chad ran into Jake. He warned him not to hurt Kate or he would have to answer to him. Jake realized how protective he was of Kate. He told him how she was like a mother to him. He let him know how she was the one who told him about Stefano being his biological father. Jake said he needed to climb down from his high horse especially after the way he betrayed Abby. Chad knew what he did to Abby and said they were going to therapy. He was hopeful about her moving back in the mansion, but he thought she had another reason to do it.

Rafe questioned Allie about whether or not she killed Charlie. While he was questioning her, Sami came in and stopped him from questioning Allie. Sami made Allie leave. Lucas talked to Tripp about Sami being a suspect in Charlie’s murder. Lucas wanted to talk to Allie, but she wasn’t home. Xander talked to Jack about Sarah dumping him for Rex. Xander told him that Sarah still blamed him for what he did with her baby. Jack couldn’t believe that she would take Rex back after he cheated. Xander said he couldn’t blame Rex talked to Kate and Roman about leaving town with Sarah. Kate didn’t like the idea of them being together. Kristen stabbed Sarah with the syringe. Sarah thought Kristen was Xander. Kate told Roman that Allie was in trouble for shooting Charlie. Rafe told Sami that he was trying to help Allie when he questioned her. He said if Allie told him something, it would have been inadmissible so she could have helped her. He told Sami that Allie was in trouble. Sami wanted to know why. He said the murder weapon was Kate’s gun. He said Allie took it once before. When Allie went home, Lucas asked her if she killed Charlie.

Sami told Rafe that Allie didn’t shoot Tripp. Rafe said Ava walked in and saw her hold the gun on Tripp. Sami said Allie wouldn’t have pulled the trigger. He said it was public record. He said she had reason to believe that Charlie would get off for raping her. Sami realized he was right about her being in trouble. Allie told Lucas that Rafe wondered the same thing. She said before she could answer him, Sami came in and told her to leave. Lucas asked if she took the gun. Allie said she took the gun. Jack couldn’t get over Sarah dumping Xander for Rex. Xander said Sarah was everything to him. Sarah thought Kristen was Xander. Kristen pretended to be Xander. Kristen brought in a trunk so Sarah could get in it. Kate and Roman talked about Allie possibly killing Charlie. Kate thought Sami was protecting Allie. Sami apologized to Rafe. She said she knew he cared about Allie. Sami said there was no evidence pointing to Allie. She said her fingerprints were on the gun. Rafe said she could have touched it to cover up Allie’s prints. Sami reminded him about the residue. Rafe asked if she was confessing. Lucas wanted to know when Allie took the gun. Allie told him the night Charlie died. She said Claire tried to get a confession out of him, but he said he would get away with it. She said she stole the gun and went to Charlie’s place. She flashed back to confronting Charlie. Rafe asked Sami if she was pleading not guilty. She said she didn’t want to go to prison. He asked if she was protecting Allie. Allie told Lucas that she wanted to kill Charlie, but she couldn’t. Lucas was relieved. “Sarah” ran into Rex. She told him that she wanted to be by herself. She told him not to come find him. Lucas told Allie that she shot Charlie with the gun. Allie thought she did it to cover for her. Sami told Rafe she killed Charlie. Allie asked Lucas who killed Charlie if Sami didn’t do it. Tripp went to Charlie’s place. Tripp thought about going to Charlie’s place the night he was shot.

Gwen showed up at the Kiriakis mansion looking for Jack. He let her know that he was there for Xander. She told him it was important. She told him what Abby did to her. Jack couldn’t believe Abby would do something like that. Gwen wanted him to turn his back on Abby if she didn’t give up her obsession with her. He wanted to give Abby a chance to end the war the same way he did for her. She wanted to know what would happen if Abby didn’t give up the war. He believed Abby was capable of forgiveness. He promised to fix things because he didn’t want his daughters hating each other. Abby let Chad know that she lied to Rafe about what she did to Gwen. Chad couldn’t believe she wanted to risk her family because she wanted to get revenge. He said she was becoming someone he didn’t recognize. She didn’t know how she was supposed to get over what Gwen did to her. He said and that she was stooping to her level. She reminded him about the things Gwen did to her family. Chad held her while she cried. Abby finally decided to get help for her anger. She wanted to fight for their family. Chad was grateful that she wanted to fix their family.

Sarah managed to get out of the ropes. She looked around the room for something to use to open the door. She found a crowbar and used it to try to get the door open. She was disappointed when she couldn’t get the door open. She looked around again and saw the syringe Abby threatened to use on Gwen. Xander was in for a shock when he found “Sarah” with Rex. Xander yanked Rex off the bed. He insisted that it was consensual. “Sarah” let him know that it was consensual. Xander couldn’t believe it. He was disappointed. She asked Rex if he could leave them alone. Xander didn’t believe “Sarah” would be with Rex on their wedding day. She said she loved Rex and that’s why she was with him. Xander still didn’t believe her. She told him more excuses about not marrying him. She told him they were done. Xander grabbed her and kissed her. “Sarah” backed away from him. She yelled at him because he made her fall in love with a baby that wasn’t hers. Xander was confused. He didn’t think that made sense at all. “Sarah” told Xander that she wanted to be with Rex. Rex went back in the room. She gave him back his ring. He was upset and walked out of the room. Rex leaned in and kissed her. She didn’t want to kiss him at the time. She wanted to leave. She took her clothes and leave. Rex called Kate to let her know what happened with “Sarah”. Kristen went to see Sarah. Sarah struck out at her with the syringe. They struggled over the needle.

Kristen told Sarah what she was going to say to Xander in order to convince him that she was Sarah. Brady and Chloe talked to Rex about Sarah marrying Xander. Rex told them that he still thought about Sarah all of the time. He said he lied and cheated on her more than once. He said he didn’t think she would take a chance on him again. Brady told him to tell Sarah how he felt about her before it was too late. Sarah told Kristen that Xander wouldn’t fall for it because she didn’t sound like her. Kristen said the mask had an altering device that changes the voice. Kristen wanted to text Xander. Ciara told Claire about her trying to sleep with Tripp. Claire told her she was confused. Ciara called her a jealous insecure b*tch. Claire told her that she loved her and so did Ben.

Ciara asked Claire if Ben loved her. Ciara asked if Claire hired him to kill her. Ciara told her to leave. She said she never wanted to see her again. Ben asked Claire what happened. She said Ciara kept bringing up what happened years ago. He wanted to talk to her. Kayla told Ben and Claire to stay away from her until she found out what was going on. Rex told “Sarah” that he thought she was making a mistake. He asked if they could meet so they could talk. She agreed to meet him. Kristen told Sarah that Rex still had a thing for her. Kristen said Rex tried to talk her out of marrying Xander. Sarah said she wouldn’t say anything. Kristen said she wished she could believe her. She said she walked in on Claire and Tripp together. Kayla asked Ciara what was the last thing she remembered. Ciara said she remembered the accident. Kayla asked her what accident. Ciara said when she crashed her bike. She asked if that was why she was in the hospital. Claire told Ben that Ciara had hate in her eyes. She said Ciara didn’t want to see her again. Ben said she didn’t mean it. Claire said she wanted to make up for all of the things she did to her and now she wasn’t going to get the chance. Ciara told Kayla what she remembered about the crash. Kayla asked if she remembered anything that happened after the crash. Ciara said she didn’t remember anything. Rex asked “Sarah” if she was going to call off the wedding. She said she was having doubts about Xander. She said the past few years have been filled with sadness for her. She said she thought getting married would be a new beginning. She said she was wrong. She said she and Xander had nothing in common. She said she didn’t know who he is. She said she thought she moved past what he did with Mickey. She said there was a part of her that couldn’t get over that betrayal. He asked if she wanted to go somewhere private to talk. She suggested going to his room. He asked if she was sure. She told him to go to his room and she would meet him there. When Rex left, Kristen said she had to figure out how to get Xander there. She called Xander. She pretended to be Susan. She told him that she saw Sarah at the Brady Pub. She said what Sarah was doing was wrong. She told him that she was with Rex. Xander said she must be mistaken. Susan said Rex and Sarah were getting up and personal. Xander asked if they were still at the pub. She said they went upstairs. Kayla told Ben and Claire that Ciara only remembered what happened when she had her motorcycle accident. Rex and “Sarah” kissed each other and were on the bed. Xander walked in on them together.

Nicole asked Rafe who he thought killed Charlie. He said he would let her know when he found out something. She said she wasn’t a fan of Sami, but she loved Allie. He said he told Gabi that she was chasing a man who was with another woman. He said he thought she got the message. Kate asked why he was saying her name in his sleep. He said his subconscious might have been telling him something. Rafe showed up to tell them that forensics identified the gun that killed Charlie. Kate wanted to know why he was telling them. He said the gun was hers.

Kate told Rafe that her gun was locked in a box. Jake asked if she was sure that her gun was upstairs. Jake thought about Kate alluding that she would kill Charlie. Claire told Ben to give Ciara time. He said he finally got Ciara back. He said he wanted to see Ciara and let her know that she was his heart and soul. Ciara told Kayla that she didn’t understand what was happening. Kayla said her memory was affected by what she has been through. Ciara said she remembered her and her brother. Kayla said it made her hopeful that she would recover. Kayla said she was going to run some tests on her. Kate gave Rafe the box the gun was in. She gave him the combination because she had nothing to hide. Jake told Kate that it might have been a mistake to give him the box. She said she had nothing to hide. When Rafe opened the box, the gun was gone. She said she didn’t take the gun out of the box. He wanted to know how it got to Charlie’s apartment. She said she didn’t know. He asked how many people knew she had a gun. She said a lot of people have been in and out of the room. He said Kate was the only one who had a reason to kill Charlie. He said he was going to take the box so it could be dusted for fingerprints. She let him take it. Tripp told Gabi that Ava didn’t kill Charlie. Gabi said Ava could leave if she didn’t like her accusing her of murder. Ava said she was behind on the rent so she couldn’t leave. Tripp told Gabi to leave if she didn’t want to live with Ava. Gabi said it was her house. Ava said it was Rafe’s house. Gabi said she would leave if Ava wouldn’t. Kayla told Ben and Claire that Ciara had selective amnesia. Belle told Marlena that she made it clear to Sami that she couldn’t represent someone who lied to her. Marlena said the stakes were high. Belle told her that Sami needed to understand that if she was convicted of murder, she would pay with her life. Lucas told Sami that her prints were on the gun and she had residue on her clothes. He said she went to the apartment to kill Charlie. Sami said everything was true. He wanted to know what happened. Rafe told Allie and Nicole that Ciara was alive. Shawn went to see Ciara. Rafe talked to Nicole about Sami not denying killing Charlie. Belle told Marlena that she went over the case file and everything pointed to Sami being guilty. Sarah told her that Xander would look for her and she would tell what Kristen did. When Kristen didn’t look concerned, Sarah asked if she was going to kill her. Jack told Julie that Ciara was alive. Claire saw Theo at the hospital. She told him that Ciara was alive, but she was hurt. Ben told Marlena what happened when he rescued Ciara. Kristen told Sarah that she wasn’t a killer. Sarah said Hailey Chin would disagree. Kristen said it was an accident. She said she was at the wrong place at the wrong time like Hailey. Sarah wanted to know what she was going to do with her. Jack told Julie that he wanted to wait to tell Doug. Julie asked if he wanted to be sure that Ciara was going to be all right. Kristen told her not to make her regret not killing her. Sarah told her she was going to be sorry. She said Xander wouldn’t stop looking for her and would find out the truth. She said he was going to make her pay. Kristen said Xander wouldn’t look for her if she broke his heart and dumped him. Sarah said she wouldn’t break Xander’s heart. Kristen took Sarah’s phone and said that she didn’t want to marry Xander. Sarah said he wouldn’t believe it unless it came from her mouth. Xander ended up calling Sarah. Claire told Theo that she dated a sociopath. He asked if she thought Sami killed Charlie. Ben started coughing a lot. Marlena wanted him to get checked. He said he wasn’t going anywhere until Ciara was out of surgery. He thanked her for being there. Kristen told Sarah that she would be able to convince Xander that she didn’t want to see him again. Kristen said she would tell him that she never got over what he did with her baby. Sarah said she forgave him. Sarah told her being Susan wasn’t the way to be with Brady and Rachel. Sarah said she would do anything she could to help her. She said the authorities would go easy on her. She told her to let her go for Rachel. Kristen said she couldn’t do it. Sarah told her to send the text. She said Xander wouldn’t believe that she would break up with him unless she was standing in front of her. Kristen said she gave her a great idea.
