I was just at brando’s funeral. And other than diane telling us the attacker was a woman, we don’t have very much. But that’s not why I asked you to come by. Read what’s inside this envelope. Your future depends on it. I have a very busy day ahead. I have to figure out what I’m gonna be doing now that I’m — I’m closing the gallery. So I’d really appreciate it if we could wrap this up. …The location… portia, I’m feeling really well. You know, my wound is — is — is almost healed now. [ Door closes ] After everything I’ve been through, whatever it is, I can take it. Counting our blessings, are we? I was just reviewing some documents. Hmm. I assume you’ll soon be adding another important document to that safe of yours — your finalized divorce decree. But, of course, you insisted on hiring your own lawyer. So I hope he’s filed all the paperwork correctly. I said I would handle it, didn’t it? Forgive me, but I’ve seen how you “handle” ava — signing a false confession to murdering esme. You know, that little mea culpa of yours could have sent you to prison for life if valentin hadn’t gotten it away from ava. Now, fortunately, your ridiculous romantic gesture won’t be coming back to haunt us. And neither will esme prince. May she rest in peace. Okay, guys. You can take him.

I’m so grateful to you, nina, for all the trouble you’ve gone to. I-it’s no trouble at all. You thought of everything, right? Like brando’s favorite drink. Beer. Root beer.

[ Chuckles ] Sonny: Can we all just gather around? Uh, raise your glasses. I want to make a toast to — to brando. Brando was an incredible son. A kind and loving husband. He left us way too soon. He had a — he had a big laugh.

[ Chuckles ] But most importantly, he had a big heart. To brando. To never be forgotten.

[ Glasses and bottles clink ] Why aren’t you at the hospital? Then I couldn’t be here to let you in. Huh. You know what I mean. Look at yourself. You’re covered in bruises from what sonny did to you. Yeah, I’m a little sore. A little? Okay. I-I hurt everywhere. Especially my wrists. It could have been a lot worse if you hadn’t shown up. Never really got the chance to thank you for rescuing me, did I? Well, it looks like the divorce papers are all ready to go. There’s a receipt inside the envelope that proves I submitted them to the court. I want you to keep that. I don’t need a receipt. I take you at your word that they’ll be filed. Now we just need a court to sign off… and, um, we’ll officially be divorced. I’d feel better if you held onto the receipt. It’s something you can show portia since I botched things the first time around. Right. Jordan, this is what doesn’t make sense to me. You’re one of the most organized people I’ve ever known, so it just doesn’t add up that you would misplace the original papers. What can I say? Nobody’s perfect. I think I proved that during our marriage, right? Jordan, it takes two people to make a marriage and two people to mess it up. Now, let’s be honest — I think we both know that our marriage was over long before we signed those papers. Maybe for you. But not for me. Physically, you are recovering just fine. But as your doctor, it’s my job to treat the whole patient. And, ava, I want you to take care of yourself. To be honest, I-I’m — I’m a little bit worried about your well-being. Trina told me that you closed your gallery, and I know that that was far more than just a business to you. Well, actually, that — that’s your fiancé’s fault, really.

[ Chuckles ]

[ Chuckles ] How is that exactly? Uh, curtis came to see me, and he told me that he was worried about trina working in the gallery with some serial slasher roaming around. And — and he was right. As much as I hated that I won’t be working with trina for now, I… I have to do whatever I can to protect her from any future repeat attack, right? Yeah, and I think you did the right thing. I think you did the right thing for trina and for you. But I need you to know that working at your gallery was far more than just a job to trina. And I never got to thank you for arranging the fellowship at the chuck for her. Well, that — that was curtis’ idea, actually. I just made a couple of phone calls and gave trina a sterling recommendation, which she earned. Yeah, I just feel badly that — that trina seems to resent curtis for setting that in motion. She said she already has one protective father looking out for her. Right. Okay, well, if there isn’t anything else, I really have spent more than my fair share of time at G.H. Lately. Okay. There is just — just one more thing. I-I just want you to make sure that you are focusing on keeping yourself out of harm’s way, okay? A-and since the gallery is off limits, at least you know you’re gonna be safe at wyndemere, right? Esme is lying in the bottom of the harbor, courtesy of your wife. And no one need be any the wiser. Despite your ridiculous attempt to take the blame for the murder in order to woo ava. So you just proceed with this divorce as planned… and no more confessions in the name of love. Are we clear on that? Nikolas: “I, nikolas cassadine… of sound mind and body do hereby acknowledge and confess that I, and I alone, am responsible for the disappearance of esme prince. I know this because I killed her.” The means? My own two hands. Victor: Nikolas. You always were a poor judge of women and a — a fool for their charms. So I want you to tell me the truth. What else does ava got on you? Esme: Bad for you, oz. But good for me.

[ Sighs ] This won’t get me through today. Wyndemere… here I come.

I am no longer living at wyndemere. I’m happy that nina has offered me a place to stay, stay with her. I’m grateful for that. And plus there’s the added benefit of knowing that sonny’s looking out for nina, so… which means that he’ll be looking out for you. Yeah, well, you know, as avery’s mother, sonny does want to keep me safe. Well, good. You know, I’m glad that you have someplace — someplace to go, but, um… but what? Ava, you know I have no love for nikolas or his son spencer. But I do know that you’re still in love with your husband, even after everything that’s happened. And I just hope, for your sake, that you really finally leave nikolas and never look back. I gotta say, I’m surprised to hear you say that. But I’m with portia now. I know. All I’m saying is, is I never made it a secret about how I felt. I was ready to fight for our marriage if you had been. I couldn’T. By that point, there was too much damage — too much damage for me to even try again. Too many secrets. Too many lies. I’m a former cop. I know that some of the deception comes with the job. But not all of it. No. Not all of it. And you’re a man who values honesty above everything else in relationships. What I don’t understand is why you’d stick your nose in and suggest something’s happening between willow and me. I know you and portia love each other. It’s plain to see whenever you’re together. The two of you have done more than just buy a house together. You’ve done everything you can to create a family. And not just for the two of you, but for your dad and aunt stella. And don’t forget about trina. Even though she’s away at college, living in the dorms, our house is her home, as well. No. Of course. And it’s because of trina that —

[ Ringing stops ]Commissioner ashford. What? When did this happen and where? Okay. I’ll be right there. Thanks. What’s wrong? We have another victim. Have you guys heard? It happened again. No, we haven’t heard, nurse driscoll. I’m just trying to get my patient safely home. What happened again, amy? A john doe was just brought in. Another guy is dead after being stabbed. According to the coroner, he was likely attacked by the same woman with a hook. They weren’t able to identify him, but I recognized him right away. Because he’d been a patient here not that long ago. Well, who is it?! That bartender guy who testified at trina’s trial.

[ Elevator bell dings ] Oz haggerty? Wai– ava. Ava? Don’t you think we should talk about this? No. I-I have to go. You just don’t get it. It’s not about what ava has on me or what I have on her.

[ Scoffs ] Well, tell that to the young lady ava pushed over the parapet. Ava swears that it was an accident. Well, fine. Say that I, uh — say I believe here. Do you really think the police would? Or a jury? Ava had just discovered you had slept with your son’s girlfriend. She was out for revenge on esme. And to frame you for the crime… would be an act of love. Ava didn’t twist my arm. She didn’t threaten me. I proved to her that she could trust me again in spite of the terrible mistake that I made with esme. I earned ava’s trust by putting my life in her hands. And I did it willingly, with my eyes wide open. But you can’t understand that, can you, uncle? I can understand you’re acting like a damn fool. It’s sad. Despite all of your conquests… you’ve never really been in love.

Gladys. You can’t cut and run. You got to be here. For sasha. You got to be strong for her. ‘Cause brando can’t be. Now, look, look. You know, listen to me. Sasha has been through — she has — she has lost a child and her husband. No one knows that kind of pain. Only you do because you have lost a son and a grandchild. You got — you got to be here for her. You guys got to be here for each other. Today, the next day, and the day after. I wish I was as strong as you think I am. But you’re not gonna have to do this alone. You’re not gonna have to grieve alone. I’m gonna be here for you. You know, brando used to come to me… for advice. Not for tuning up engines or — or business. He thought I had all the answers. But the thing is, you know, I told him I didn’T. And I-I just want you to know that you’re always gonna be part of my family. Of course, family’s the most important thing. A lot of money doesn’t hurt, though, right? That is the gladys that I know.

[ Sighs ] I get it. You lost harmony not long after you found out that she wasn’t your biological mother. That’s a lot. Right. You know, if this year has taught me anything, it’s that good things and bad things can happen at the same time. Which is why I feel so fortunate to have a friend like you. And I hope that never changes. No. Never. Tj, whatever is going on with your “friendship” with willow, I’m just giving you a friendly warning. Take it from me. You do not want michael corinthos as an enemy. Did the pcpd have a legitimate reason to suspect dex heller? Well, I can’t talk about the details of an ongoing investigation. But, yeah, dex was brought in as a person of interest until diane told us that her attacker was a woman. Why? Well, before diane made her id, sonny took matters into his own hands and almost played judge, jury, and executioner. Look. If you don’t believe me, go talk to dex. I already told you. I don’t want to get the cops involved. Yeah, but you didn’t tell me why. You’re not a fugitive, are you? No. Not afraid to incriminate yourself in your own kidnapping and torture? No. So then why are you protecting sonny? You hate your stepfather. Okay? I-I get it. And you don’t? He’s not my favorite person at the moment, no. Listen. So many people, so many good people have been protecting sonny for so long. Someone has to take him down. You sound like your brother. How do you know I sound like michael?

[ Sighs ] They changed the locks? Like that’s gonna stop me. I will not be schooled in the art of love by a man who bedded his son’s ex-girlfriend because his own wife wanted nothing more to do with him. I’ve experienced

real passion, the kind you’ll never know.

[ Chuckles ] Are you talking about what you had with liesl obrecht? No, I believe that’s called obsession, not passion. And she clearly wants nothing to do with you. What ava and I have, now that happens once in a lifetime. Wait, wait. Don’t you mean “had”? Your divorce is well under way. Oh, you can force me to divorce her. We’re supposed to be here honoring brando and supporting sasha and gladys. Okay? Can you put this on hold for today? Just today. Look, look, look. Dex was brought into the pcpd for questioning. Sonny shows up to get him out, then dex and sonny, they leave together. And dex, he disappears for 48 hours. Okay, you know our father as well as I do. Where the hell do you think dex was? But I’ve seen the strain between you and michael. I spent two years trying to make things right with brando. We were almost there. And then I ran out of time. Don’t make my mistake. Don’t think you have forever to make things right with michael. Do it now. It’s no big secret whenever I’m with sonny and we run into michael, he goes after him with both barrels. And, you know, I gotta say, t-the way boss keeps his cool with michael attacking him, it’s impressive. It sounds like you admire sonny. He looks after the people he cares about. This? This is sonny looking after the people he cares about? I didn’t say I like it. I just said I get it.

[ Sighs ] Don’t you see? That’s exactly what he’s doing. He wants you to be able to give him the benefit of the doubt. Dex, he’s never gonna do that for you, okay? You need to quit his organization right now before you get in any deeper. Who says I want out? The john doe at the morgue has been identified by a previous stay at G.H. Name is oz haggerty… I didn’t expect to see you here. Jordan asked me to come by to show me a new set of the divorce papers. They’ve officially been filed. So it won’t be long now, huh? I have absolutely zero interest in what you and nikolas talk about. What are you doing here? Oh, I-I just wanted to tell you that there’s been another fatal attack. This time, the victim was that bartender, the — the one who esme tried to keep from testifying for trina. Thank you for the update. But, uh —

[ Chuckles ] You could have just called with the news. I was just gonna come and get some of my clothes. But never mind. If you would, could you please ask the staff to pack up my things and have them sent to nina’s? Perhaps I should come with you just as added protection. Suit yourself. Nikolas: Ava. Thank you. For the warning. You know, on second thought, thank you for the offer, victor, but I can take care of myself. Oh, I have no doubt about that. But it is a wicked world out there.

[ Beeping ] Who the hell are you?! I know it’s been a very difficult day for everyone who loved brando and who loves sasha. Michael, make sure that willow gets home safe and gets some rest. I’m — I-I want to have a conversation with my son. I-I don’t know how, but trina is the common denominator. I mean, first there was ava, a-and she isn’t just trina’s boss. She’s her mentor and supported her the whole time during the trial. And then there was diane miller, who came in when scott baldwin had to step away. And she was brilliant in defending trina the best way she possibly could. And now oz haggerty? It was his testimony saying that he sold the black-market phone to esme prince and not trina that proved trina’s innocence. Yes, at first glance, your theory makes sense that there’s a pattern, but what about brando corbin? Is there a connection to trina that I’m not aware about? He’s the only exception. Trina barely knew brando. Unless… unless what? Unless brando wasn’t the attacker’s real target. Josslyn jacks had just been in that same alley outside charlie’S. Josslyn is connected to trina. Josslyn: Well, just so you know, next time sonny turns against you, do not wait for me to come rescue you. There might not be a next time. Yes. There will be. Sonny will betray you, just like he’s betrayed everybody else. And I just really hope you can see the man he really is before it’s too late for you.

[ Door closes ] Son of a bitch. I’m gonna go get some water. Okay. So, um… gladys shared something with me that I… I-I wanted to share with you. She said it’s too late to make things right with brando, but she thinks it’s not too late for us to make things right. And I — and I took that to heart. Lo– okay. But for you and me, I ordered a gourmet dinner for two to be delivered from the metro court. Alright. I’ll s– I’ll see you when I get home. Alright, handsome.

I… you see, I think esme’s hiding on spoon island. And now that I’ve been there… I’m even more convinced I’m on the right track. You remember how we first met? It was ages ago. Decades. But I can still see it… as if it was yesterday. I was hiking the cascade mountains. A regular nature girl on a journey to find a place for myself outside the rigid confines of middle class society. That’S… when I smelled smoke coming from a cabin in the middle of nowhere. And there you were… chopping wood with a hatchet. The blade gleamed in the moonlight. You always were… handy with a blade.

Remember how we used to bundle together in the cabin… on those cold winter nights… when the wolves howled outside the window? We’d howl right back at them because that’s what we were — a couple of timber wolves too wild for all those poor, pathetic sheep out there. You’re in there, aren’t you? You might have everybody else fooled… …but I know you… …inside and out. You’re not really paralyzed, are you? This is just your way of controlling the situation, getting everyone lulled into a false sense of security, and that’s when you’re gonna strike. I know that I’m getting to you, because after all… …I’m your hazel… …and I can affect you… in ways… that nobody else can. You left me… without so much as a goodbye. You broke my heart. I don’t think you’ve ever been hurt as badly. But that can be arranged.

You know, I get the sense that nik’s only willing to cooperate when he’s in charge. Sounds like him. Hm. Maybe. What do you mean? I mean… I have a feeling nikolas is hiding something.

My point is, josslyn, that even for a split second, your mother and i were able to put our differences aside and help willow. And if we were able to do that, why can’t you and i do the same thing? My mom makes her own choices, and so do I. Even though I am grateful you took sonny off her hands, it does not mean that I like you. It did not take sonny off anyone’s hands. I fell in love with him. How romantic. Okay, the only part of that that I regret is keeping the truth from everyone. And you might not understand this… …but I kept the truth from myself. So I can only imagine that now you might feel guilty since mac had his hopes up. From what it sounds like, probably not worthy of being mac’s son, so he’s probably better off without me. I don’t even remember a jeff webber. All I know is that my dad and reiko were having an affair. My dad had a history of cheating on my mom. My wife and I were happy. I know. But willow is the mother of my grandchildren, and my son is involved, even though we’re not on good terms. Also, you know, molly. I was hoping that the tj I knew would not jeopardize all this. Sonny, can we just — can we stop, please? This is a huge misunderstanding. Nina confronted both me and willow separately about this, and we both made it extremely clear that we are not having an affair. But she does not want to believe that. Now she’s dragged you into it. And I don’t — you don’t what? Say it. Say it, tj. Sonny, you’ve always been there for me. Right. And I respect you. Right. But nina’s hell-bent on causing trouble for michael and willow, and she does not care how much trouble that’s going to cause for you, too. The security guard is on his way to gh. Oh, good. He’s in good condition. No injuries except for the bump on his head. Okay. And what’d he say? Well, he was blacked out until the paramedics arrived. Once they got him conscious, I asked him a few questions, but his memory was still pretty foggy. Did he know how the crash happened? Transport was supposed to stop at pentonville first, d’archam second. Driver drove right past the exit for pentonville. So the driver was the plant. That’s what the guard thought. Tried to stop the driver. That’s when the van spun out of control. So this whole thing was organized to spring one of the prisoners. And I can only imagine that anna is the one who was able to sort something like that out. Well, she certainly has enough contacts to call on for support to stay on the run. Ah, anna’s going to give us a real run for our money. What? Still nothing. We got to wait here for a minute. We can’t risk running into the police and getting pulled over. That’s a good strategy. Thank you. Not even an ounce of modesty anywhere. I’m good at this stuff. I — lucky me. You think dex is going to be all right? I think dex is going to be fine. Even if the guard realizes he was a plant, he won’t be able to id him. Besides, sonny will take care of dex. Thank you for taking care of me. Always. I like taking care of you. [ Breathes shakily ] I can’t explain it, but my life is out of control right now. How can I help? It’ll be okay. I promise.

[ Groans ] This is from our boathouse. Ah, you should have killed me when you had the chance, esme. You made a mistake. I did my own research in addition to what all the doctors here told me. If I were to start chemotherapy in the first trimester, that would put our baby at great risk. If I could wait to start chemo until the second trimester, that would give our baby the best chance of survival. And you– you’ve been living with this all by yourself for all these months. Willow, that must have been so hard on you. No. I wasn’t totally alone. The doctors here have been supportive, and tj has been a great friend. But the decision to delay chemotherapy has come with a cost. What do you mean? Dr. Randolph just told me that… the test results confirmed my leukemia is now stage iv. Stage iv. Oh, my god, willow. Okay. Okay, what’s next? I start chemo right away. But because of the advanced stage, terry also wants to look into a bone marrow transplant. You know what’s really good for a stiff neck? If you’re about to offer me a massage, no, thanks. I was going to say muscle relaxers. And I happen to know a great doctor here. This is to say thanks. For what? Standing by me through all my “maury” drama. It’s just a latte. It’s not poison. Don’t do that. Stop trying to avoid what’s really going on here. I am so sorry that I waited so long to tell you. But I swear to you, michael, even if you hadn’t walked in when you did, I was going to tell you today. I believe you. I just — do you want to know why I didn’t tell you before? Look, willow, we’re, uh — we’re a team. And we built a life together. With wiley. And if…I said or did anything that made you think that I wouldn’t support you or I wouldn’t be able to handle what you’re going through — no, no, no, no. No, it’s not that. When I heard the diagnosis and what chemo would mean for our unborn child, and the doctors here, all of them — britt, terry, tj — they all wanted me to start chemo immediately. I really struggled with it. Deep in my heart, I knew I-I… I couldn’t face losing another baby. Not after jonah. And I-I knew that wasn’t fair to wiley, that the worst case would be that the leukemia progressed and I didn’t recover, but I convinced myself that it wouldn’t do much harm to delay treatment by a few weeks.

[ Sighs ] I felt like it was the best choice for me, for our entire family. Okay. I just want to make one thing very clear. This was always your choice. And I support that today, and I — and I would have supported that then. I just wanted us to enjoy our time together with wiley before things got too hard. Spare us all some heartache. Especially if… I don’t have much time left. Which I might not. I appreciate you, you know, warning me about nina, but I know her really well, and I believe her heart is in the right place. Okay, but what — what possible good can come from telling michael that willow and i are having an affair? Trust me, that is the absolute last thing she needs right now. I saw you two together. It seemed like something was going on. I even said something to michael. Sonny, you have known me practically my entire life. Is that what you think about me? That I’m a cheater? I’m not — I’m not hearing you deny it. Sonny, I promise you that willow and i are not romantically involved. I give you my word — that is not happening. Something is happening, tj. I know it. It’s not for me to say. But I’m asking you to trust me. Okay. You know what? If — if you say nothing is going on between you and willow, then I have to choose to believe it. But I’m telling you right now, it’s not going to be enough for michael. And you know it.

[ Engine starts ] Hey. That’s right. We need a bolo posted for the two women who were being transported to pentonville penitentiary and d’archam asylum. We do not believe that they are armed, but heather webber should be considered dangerous. The other woman, anna devane, she is a fugitive, but she is not a threat. Thank you. All right. I’ve notified the highway patrol, although they don’t have much to go on because the guard didn’t give them much of a description of the driver. We don’t know if anna and heather are on foot or in a vehicle. I think chances of us getting a lead tonight are slim. Excuse me, mac. What do you think’s going on here? I think you’re hiding behind sugary coffee so you don’t have to deal with your feelings about mac not being your father. Well, you can’t blame me for wondering what it would be like to be a part of a close-knit family. For a few seconds there, I thought maybe I wouldn’t be alone in this world. Yeah, I — I get that. Even though my mother drives me crazy, I don’t know what I would do without her. Well, taub may have been a son of a bitch, but he’s my dad, and that is that. I’ve been alone pretty much my whole life. Looking out for just me has served me well so far. Who knows? Maybe you dodged a bullet. Family is a curse. From now on, we’re a team, okay? I guess there was a problem with the vehicle that was supposed to take heather to d’archam, so they threw her in with anna, and the plan was to drop anna at pentonville and then take heather to d’archam. But they didn’t make it that far. There was an accident, and the van crashed. And I’m here on the scene right now. What caused the accident? I don’t know, sonny. There was some sort of struggle. But there was only a guard here when we got here. He was the only one with the vehicle. He was injured and taken to gh. Any idea what happened? No. Not yet, but I’m going to figure it out. Do not let anybody off of the island. That hook-wielding psychopath was in the house. And I will be damned if I let her get away.

[ Clears throat ] Come in. Hi. Britt: Hey. Is now a good time? Depends. Is one of those folders for me? Yep. Come on in. So, do you know where that necklace came from? Can I help you? Uh, yeah. Cody bell. I’m here for some test results. No problem. Was it blood work? Paternity test. One sec. Thanks. Glad you’re back. Yeah. I hope you got what you needed while you were away. May I? Yeah. Finn, I, um… there was no medical conference. I went to monterey. I wanted to get answers about what’s been going on with me. And I saw my parents. I don’t understand. Why am I here? I’m supposed to be transferred to pentonville. I’m just following orders. A dr. Finn insisted that you come here for something called a phlebotomy treatment.

[ Sighs ] I can do this. I have to do this. Nikolas cannot keep us locked… up in here. Mother, I-I had no idea you were back. Well, aren’t you glad to see me? Yeah, yeah, no, no. Of course I am. Uh… uncle victor, what’s this about charlotte? Oh, uh, I was just informed she’s not on the school grounds. I’m — I’m very worried about her. Oh, no need to worry. I brought her home with me. Did you, now? I had to do it. She missed her family. Well, that is such a relief. But what about valentin? He was on his way to switzerland to visit her. Oh, no, no. He’s home, too. And I’m sure that he’ll be getting in touch with you very soon. Michael does not need to know anything. Oh, I don’t need to know about what?

[ Cellphone ringing ] Are you sending me to voicemail? Sonny… anna’s being transferred to pentonville tonight. We need to act now. What are you two hiding now? Your leukemia is now at stage iv. So, my… my cancer is advancing more rapidly than we thought. I’m so sorry.

[ Clears throat ] Well, I’M… I’m in my second trimester now. The risks to my baby are much lower. I am ready to start chemo at any time. What? What, did I wait too long? Will I die before my baby can be born?

I found you two bothering my family. We were taking a nice walk in the park, michael. Wiley and willow just happened to be there, so what’s the — you should have kept on walking. Oh, my goodness. Instead you tried to maneuver willow into letting nina spend time with wiley. Oh, that’s ridiculous. Sonny would never do that. You have no idea what sonny would do. Look, nina was denied visitation with wiley. I’m well aware of that. We’re not gonna go against your wishes when it comes to wiley, michael.

[ Cellphone beeps ] I gotta take care of this. Oh, is it an assassination or plain old racketeering? Why? You wearing a wire? You know what? You all right? Yeah, no, no. I’m fine. All right. You know, michael, I don’t expect you to be civil to me. But you should show your father more respect. Is my leukemia so advanced that I won’t live to have this child? That is not my prognosis. Remission is still within reach in stage iv. We just have to work more aggressively combining chemo with other treatments. How will this affect my baby? I will work out the course of treatment with the greatest chance of success while minimizing the risk to you both. Thank you. That’s what I hoped you’d say. We’re here for you. Is there anything else you want to know? Any questions? No. No, thanks. Michael will be here soon. Does this mean you’re ready to tell michael you have cancer? I went to monterey to look for what might be causing all of these panic attacks a-and the sleepwalking and losing time, just all of this mess. Okay. “Okay”? That’s it? I lied to you. She is recovering very nicely after that mysterious fire destroyed their home. Did they ever find out who caused it? Apparently it was an accident. Or at least it looked an awful lot like one. At any rate, your grandmother and marcello send their love to you. Yeah. Please send them mine. You have a phone, nikolas. You can tell them that yourself. Well, look, I came here to have a conversation with my son, and I’d like to have it privately. Well, actually, I have business to attend to on the mainland. O admit, I didn’t expectsuch a fast turnaround. Thanks. I try. Look, the necklace you found in peter’s safe deposit box, it was pretty high profile back in the ’80s. There weren’t many necklaces around that were worth $35 million. I’m sorry. How much? $35 million. And, of course, mr. Moskovitz, the jeweler who examined the necklace, said that’s just a ballpark figure. Hell of a ballpark. Yeah, if the final price is even close to that, you are gonna be able to retire in style. Only if the necklace is legally mine. Okay, well, that is where things get a little murky. I was not able to find an official bill of sale, but I was able to locate the last known owner. Anyone I know? Leopold taub. What’s taking so long? I mean, I know it’s officially your test, but… no, no, no. Hey, you have a vested interest. Well, we all do. I am so sorry. There’s some huge backlog in the lab. Ah. You know, I-I don’t suppose you could maybe track down those results for me? I’m going a little crazy here not knowing. I’ll go to the lab personally. Thank you. Can we have some privacy, please? I’d like to examine the patient. Mm. Well, doctor… you’re not actually gonna draw my blood, are you? No. Oh, thank god. A real nurse will be by here in a minute to take care of that. I talked finn into ordering a legitimate phlebotomy treatment. That way, the pcpd would be forced to bring you here before taking you to pentonville. That’s brilliant. What’s the plan to get me out of here then? Your dear uncle victor was using charlotte as leverage. She was practically being held prisoner in that boarding school. Kevin and I had to help valentin to break her out. Is charlotte all right? Yes, she’s fine. She’s thrilled to be home, and she is determined not to have anything to do with victor again. I know. Uncle victor has his own agenda. Yes, he does. And he doesn’t care who he uses or destroys to get it done. I mean, look at poor anna. She went up against victor, and now she’s been framed for the possible murder of lucy coe. It’s time to begin chemo as soon as possible. And bone marrow transplants have been very successful in treating leukemia. Survival rates have increased significantly in the past few years alone. But that also depends on what kind of transplant I get. It does. In your case, you’ll need an allogeneic transplant, which requires healthy blood cells from a donor. But will that work if the donor isn’t related to me? A related matched donor usually provides the closest match, but unrelated matched donors work, too. I hope that’s true because to the best of my knowledge, I have no living relatives. Michael, sonny loves you. Why can’t you see that? Sonny abandoned his family. How can I respect a man like that? It’s — it’s just like a broken record. Who are you to be so judgmental? He’s reached out to you time and again, and you just spit in his face. It’s like you live your life to look down on other people. Gee, no wonder willow turned to someone else. Wait. What? What’s wrong now? Well, uh, nina’s trying to drive a wedge between me and willow by, what, claiming that willow’s cheating on me? You’re slipping, nina. If you’re gonna make something up, you’re gonna have to do a hell of a lot better than that. Actually, she’s not making it up, michael. You know why? ‘Cause I saw willow and tj together myself.

I found a description of a necklace that matches the one that you have in your possession in a profile piece on taub and his collection. And according to the article, taub allowed the necklace to be worn on the runway during paris fashion week in 1989. It just hasn’t been seen in public since. Well, I know taub and faison were working together around that time. Any chance taub could have sold it to my father? I couldn’t find any record of the necklace changing hands. And then taub died. Dominique auctioned off his collection, but the necklace wasn’t included in that. So dominique either took it, or faison bought it from taub before he died. Or, more likely, my father stole it.

[ Sighs ] Seen any good movies lately? Uh, me? No. No, no, not really. Oh. Just what, uh, you and i have watched at home. All right, I’m gonna get some coffee. Ok– all right. Want some? Uh, thanks. [ Sighs ] I… cheated on my wife. First, we need to determine your hla. Human leukocyte antigen. Exactly. Hla is like your blood type, only much more specific. And it’s important to match my donors and my hla so my body won’t reject the healthy blood cells. Right. Your hla will be run against candidates in the match registry, a database with people willing to donate bone marrow. I’m gonna order the testing now. If I go in person, they’ll put a rush on it. Thank you. And, um… thanks for keeping my mind off my misery [Chuckles] By keeping my mind on the medicine. Neat trick, isn’t it?

[ Chuckles ] Tj. I’ll stay with willow. Hang tight. Whew. I thought… at worst, maybe things would progress to stage iii. But I guess I just… skipped over that. Stage iv. I mean, it doesn’t — it doesn’t sound so bad until…

[Voice breaking] You remember there’s no stage V. It’s okay. Willow, whatever you’re feeling, whatever you’re feeling, you can just — just let it out.

[ Crying ] I can’t die, tj. I can’t leave wiley. I can’t leave michael. Easy. You’re not going anywhere. You can’t say that. No one can say that. Oh, god. What’s going to happen to me and my baby? [ Scoffs ] Look, I know willow. She would not do this to me. Oh, why not? She did it to chase. This is just about revenge. You’re just making up lies. None of us want this to be true, michael. That’s what you overheard your father saying. He didn’t want to tell you anything. Right, so you just let it slip, huh? Open your eyes, sonny. Just see — see nina for who she really is. She enjoys hurting people who are stupid enough to believe her. So I-I’m telling you this for what I-I hope is the last time — nina is poison. I would be very careful about what you’re about to say next. All right. You’ll be the only prisoner on the transport. One of sonny’s guys will have taken over as driver. He’ll drive the van to a rest stop on route 31. There’s a black pickup truck there. Look under the driver’s side floor mat for the ignition key. I’ve left some cash in the glove box. Thank you. Once I’m out, I’ll be able to find evidence to prove that victor has framed me. You’ll be on the run. Not only from the authorities, but from victor and his crew. You gonna be all right? Yeah. You look after charlotte and keep a surreptitious eye on your father. I just hope sonny’s people don’t screw this up somehow. Oh, he’ll come through for me. [ Door closes ] That must have been quite a shock, seeing them. Yeah. Yeah, I… when I went there, I had no intention of speaking with them. I just wanted to go into the house to find a clue as to why this is all happening. Then suddenly they were there. I just — I wanted to run out, but then I realized I can’t go on not knowing. So I told them what I had been remembering about the stairs and struggling with the woman and her falling and… did they know what you were talking about? They did. Yeah. When I was 15, I found my father with another woman. Another doctor. The woman you told to stay away from him? Yes. And this woman… this doctor, we argued. And it just — it happened really fast. And then she fell. I didn’t — I didn’t mean to. No, of course you didn’T. Do you know what happened to this woman? She died. It was my fault.

I’ve been patient with you,michael, up until now. I am done with you talking trash about nina. I don’t — you don’t want to listen? Don’t listen. But you know as well as I do that willow’s been on edge. Yeah, I know. We’ve both been on edge because of nina’s continued harassment. I’m not harassing.

[ Sighs ] I barely see you. And I’m not imagining this, michael. Something is going on with willow and tj. You just need to find out what it is. Just stay away from my family! Oh, my… I-I… I-I am so sorry that I told him. I didn’t mean to. He just kept coming at me. It slipped out. No, I bel– listen. I believe you. He has a way of getting under people’s skin. Thank you for not seeing the worst of me. And you know what I see? I see someone who’s strong, passionate, vulnerable, and that I love very much. Michael’s made a huge mistake turning his back on you. As you can see, mr. Moskovitz did recognize some of the diamonds. Recognized? Yeah, mainly from the color and clarity. But moskovitz said four of the gems come from one of the most famous diamonds in the world — the ice princess. What you’re describing feels a lot like an accident. I mean… you didn’t mean to push this woman, did you? No, no. No. No, you didn’T. And she didn’t die from her injuries, did she? Well, there were complications while she was at the hospital. She died as a result of an infection. But she wouldn’t have been there in the first place had I not confronted her. Okay. Hey, listen. You… you’re not to blame for this. For any of this. I’m so sorry you went through something so horrible and at such a young age. All right? Especially something that would traumatize you so deeply that you’d block it out. That’s the thing. I didn’t block it out. My parents went out of their way to keep me from remembering. I-I’m sorry. What — what — what does that mean? My dad prescribed me sedatives, and my mother, being a psychologist, she coached me into locking away the memory. Why would they do that? I was having nightmares, and I was sleepwalking. Sound familiar? They claim they were afraid I was gonna hurt myself. So instead of helping me through it, they just made me forget. And they were worried that being around my dad would trigger me to remember, so they sent me away. And just stayed away for 25 years? I hesitate to even call them my parents because clearly they don’t know how to raise a child. Oh. Elizabeth, hey. I’m so sorry. I don’t even know — I don’t even know what to say. What they did — they abandoned me. They threw me away, and it was all for nothing because I remembered anyway. I have been terrified for my sanity. I thought that I was a danger to my kids. All because they wanted to keep this a secret. Did everything go okay? So far. As long as sonny keeps up his end. I’m sure he will. Well, then we can wish anna safe travels. Amen to that. And here you came looking for terry, and you got more than you bargained for, didn’t you? No. I came looking for you. It’s wonderful to have spencer here with us for the holidays, isn’t it? Yeah, we should, um — we should host a big family christmas dinner, invite, uh, alexis and molly, kristina, and, uh, oh, maybe samantha and her brood. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves, uncle. That is what you are doing here, is it not? Get yourself out from under that murder one charge. Hell, I’ll even represent you if you’re prosecuted for the — the — the jailbreak. Alright, we appreciate you being willing to help, but we have got this. Yeah. You know, we’ve got to get out of here before whitten finds us. And you need to leave, too, now, or else you’ll be charged with aiding and abetting. So, then I’m just gonna have to represent myself, because I’m going with you. What? [ Scoffs ] I don’t know, uh… you show up in my room in the middle of night. It’s a locked ward. How’d you get in here? I go wherever I want. Port charles is my town. You’d be wise to remember that. Okay, so… what do you want? You were in the transport prison van when it crashed, when anna devane escaped… yeah, but I-I didn’t try to run. I turned myself in. And you went to kelly’s and had a blt. Well… you would have done the same. The bacon melts in your mouth. You offered to give a description to the cops of the guy who was driving the van, who they think helped anna escape. Well, yeah, I offered to talk to the cops if I thought it might help me stay here a little longer. I would appreciate it if you’d talk to me first.

I saw your dad leave. Terry told me you had spoken with him. Yeah, for all the good it did. He still pushing to be part of your life? No, he’s not pushing anymore. He definitely wants to be a part of my life, but he claims this was his last effort. He’s waiting for me to contact him now. You believe him? I don’t know. He’s flying back to california, so at least he can’t ambush me again. I’m sorry your dad’s making this difficult for you. When does he not? Yeah. [ Lock disengages, door opens ]

[ Door closes ] I understand you’ve taken an active interest in the media coverage of the hook attacks, including this letter. Do you think it’s genuine? Could esme have written it? “Yes” and “no.”

[ Scoffs ] Okay, look. As much as I enjoy seeing you sitting there, trapped in that chair like a beetle pinned to a board, I do have other things to do. Answer the commissioner’s question. Yes or no? “Both.” Jordan, let’s try another time. Maybe he’ll be more cooperative. “Wait.” He’s got a lot to say. Let’s step over here. I really appreciate your help with the questioning. I know this is hard. Yeah, well, just looking at him makes my skin crawl. But, of course, I’ll do whatever is necessary to help protect trina. Well, if the killer is esme, so far, she hasn’t made any moves directly on trina. The hook seems to be focused on tormenting trina by targeting the people around her. Once all those people are dealt with, trina will be left. Mr. Chamberlain is finished. “The killer wrote the letter, but esme is not the killer. Look at the wording: ‘Me and mine.’ Esme has no one. Feels completely alone.” Mr. Chamberlain had one last thing to say. “Why are you still wearing your wedding ring? It’s obvious you and nikolas are over. Come back to me.” I can’t talk about reiko with you. If it weren’t for me, you wouldn’t have lost your wife. I can’t blame you for what happened. How can you not? How can you look at me and not see the person who killed your wife? You didn’t kill reiko. Reiko contracted a disease that I couldn’t cure. I know the facts. The facts don’t change how I feel. But oz haggerty, he made the very poor choice of selling you a black-market phone, and that decision cost him his life. I am not the hook. How many times do I have to keep telling you that?! Oh, really? Then why have the attacks stopped… since I’ve locked you up in here? I’m glad that the halloween festivities went off as scheduled, but everyone must have had those attacks on their minds. I know I did. And it’s great that the city hired extra security. There — there hasn’t been a new victim in weeks, right? Is it too much to hope that it might be over? I don’t think josslyn or her friends are gonna find any comfort until that lunatic is caught. Yeah, I know that you want to be there for your family, for josslyn, even though she’s not officially your stepdaughter, and that’s gonna be really hard for you to pull off. I went to my parents’ house to get answers, and now that I have them… I don’t know — I feel violated and I have to ask myself… was it worth it? I was so worried when I didn’t hear from you. I thought maybe victor had made you disappear, as well, the way that he did lucy. He hasn’T. Not yet, anyway. Good. Charlotte’s home safe. Thank god. It was nearly a thing. But laura and kevin helped me bring charlotte back to port charles. I think victor knew that you and I were working together. That’s why he needed me out of the country — so he could deal with you without any interference. That is what it looks like. Where is charlotte now? Charlotte is at my apartment with kevin. And unconsciously, I was pushing finn away so I wouldn’t remember. And now I do.

But if the police department believes that josslyn was the real target the night brando was attacked, then I’m almost certain that that killer’s not gonna stop until they zero in on trina. We can’t let that happen. I promise you both the pcpd is going to do everything possible to keep trina safe. Okay. We just all need to pull together. Right. Someone should call taggert. Trina’s father should know what’s going on. I just hoped that this year would be normal and that trina and i could go to college and be regular college students hanging out with our friends on campus. And now someone’s targeting us?

[ Sighs ] I will never let anyone hurt you. Ever.

[ Sighs ] Well, I’m glad jordan was here to make sure trina got home safe. Yeah. Oh, my god. [ Gasps ] What? Oh, my god, mom. If trina and everybody who stood by her during the trial are targets, that could be cam, too. I got to tell him. Oh, pick up, pick up, pick up.

[ Sighs ] It’s voicemail. Cam. Cam, when you get this, call me immediately. You could be in serious danger. So… I can take the sofa and you can stay in the bed. We can both stay in the bed. For cuddling. For afterwards.

[ Suspenseful music plays ] Hey! Is anyone there?

Mason was just saying that he’s having a hard time with the G.H. Insurance and billing department, and he asked me to make a few calls on his behalf. But, mason, I’m just — I’m not comfortable crossing any ethical lines. Oh, is that so?

[ Sighs ] But, um… yeah, I mean… …I suppose I can make a few calls. I’ll see what I can do.

[ Hands clap ] That’s all I’m asking. Thanks, cuz. And how lovely to see you again, maxie. Mason. Wow. Having a family that’s constantly asking for favors? That’s got to be exhausting. I mean, insurance and billing? That is not your specialty. No, it’s not. What are you doing here? Why — why are you here? I tried to call your cell, but you didn’t answer. Yeah, I kind of — I mean, I’ve had my hands full. What were you calling about? Uh, well, I know I canceled our date, but I thought maybe we could grab a quick bite before I go back to the office. I’d love to. I really would, maxie, but, um, there’s just some things I need to take care of here. Oh, yeah. No, I totally understand. [ Telephone ringing ] Gatlin-holt. Yes, I did. Um [Sighs] The patient that’s been requesting me in the E.R. — Please just let everybody know I’m on my way.

[ Receiver clicks ] Well, I know I’m gonna beef up the security around here, both inside and outside the house. And I’ll make sure a police car patrols your block. Trina is not gonna want to go into hiding or put her life on hold. Trina has the right idea. It may sound impossible, given the threats hanging over her head, but she needs to try and lead a normal life until we can catch this woman.

[ Sighs ] Um, how are we supposed to do that when we’re planning a wedding? Wedding.

[ Sighs ] Baby, I am sure jordan has been in touch with cam. What are you doing? Where do you think you’re going? Mom, cam is working right now. I have to go warn him. Yes. And you have called him, left him a voicemail, and you’ve texted him. And when he calls you back, you can tell him what’s going on. What if the killer is scoping out the restaurant or elizabeth’s house? Just waiting for cam to be alone? Who’s there? Cameron? It’s me. It’s drew. Hey.

[ Chuckling ] Hey. You — you expecting somebody else? It’s just that innocent people are getting murdered by the hook. I’m a little jumpy. Yeah. Hey, no, no, I-I get it. So then what are you doing out here all by yourself, man? I don’t know. It’s, uh… it’s oscar’s birthday. Can’t stop thinking how much I miss him. Out here, I just feel…closer to him. Yeah. Me, too. Oscar’s in my thoughts on a daily basis, but when I’m out here…

[Breathes deeply] …I just miss him a little bit less. He just hasn’t — come on, look. If cameron’s at kelly’s, that means he’s in a public place and there’s lots of people around. I need to see him! I can’t let anything happen to him. Okay, you have texted him, and you have called him. Why do you need to see him in person? Cam is my boyfriend. I need to make sure that he’s okay.

[ Waves crashing in distance ] Josslyn: I definitely judged the type of person I thought you were. But then… you kept surprising me and doing the right thing when I least expected it. Now I’ve disappointed you. Is that it? I’d be lying if I said no. Hey, sonny. Can’t dex protect us inside? It looks pretty cold out there. Well, the — the — the cold keeps him alert. Really? Yeah. According to dr. Westbourne, [Sighs] Everything with the baby is fine. Yeah, I know. I just w– I wish I would have been there to see it myself, is all. Me, too. I went through my first pregnancy totally alone. It’s just… such a bonus that I get to share my pregnancy with you. And maybe for most couples, you know, the everyday check-ups might seem mundane, but I — I treasure them every bit as much as you do. So believe me when I tell you, I am going to be right there with you. Promise? The way I see it? Willow, you are stuck with me forever. Forever. [ Chuckles ] That has such a nice ring to it. I’ll be right back. You’ve set a wedding date?

[ Chuckles ] Less than six months away. That’s not much time to plan. But since our divorce is now official, there’s nothing to stand in your way. Trina and I know jordan’s theory. Cam doesn’T. When I made the decision to climb mount kilimanjaro, it was meant to be a grand farewell, just spread my son’s ashes in a majestic vista that was worthy of his forever home. I’m sure oscar would’ve loved that. It’s such a magical place, man. When you’re at the — at the peak, you’re so close to the clouds, you feel like you can just reach out and touch them. Wow. Well, that’s officially on the list of things I need to do. When I got to the top, I, uh… I just sat there for a few minutes. I felt like… I felt like I was holding oscar’s hand. And I know this might sound crazy, but… it felt like he was touching mine. That doesn’t sound crazy. If it makes you feel any better, I talk to franco almost every day. You should. We should never forget them.

[ Cellphone ringing ] Hey. Carly, what’s up? Hey, um, could you do me a huge favor? Josslyn’s really worried about cameron, and he’s not picking up his phone. Could you swing by kelly’s and make sure he’s okay? No need. I’m — I’m here with cam right now. You’re at kelly’s? No, we’re on the footbridge. Why, is something wrong? [ Laughs ] Mm. Wow. I am not complaining at all, but what was that for? Well, I mean, you know, an ice-cream sundae is not my only guilty pleasure.

[ Chuckles ] Stop it. You’re gonna spoil me. Yeah, that’s the plan, darling. And to think I was so concerned about what other people thought of me. I don’t care what other people think. [ Sighing ] Oh, crap. Looking for someone? Cameron. But I guess he’s not in yet. You’re not going inside? No. I avoid your boss and his girlfriend whenever I can. Right. It’s nice of sonny to leave you out here to freeze after almost killing you. Well, I’d like to think you’re concerned about me, but it’s just another excuse for you to hate on sonny. I don’t need an excuse. And it’s a waste of energy to tell you anything different when this is what you want to do. You have no idea what I want. Then why don’t you tell me? Cameron: Joss? What’s, uh — what’s going on?

We share everything, right? Good times and bad. Sickness and health. That sounds an awful lot like wedding vows. It does, doesn’t it? Well, you know what? I know it’s late, but the, uh — there are any number of judges who owe the quartermaines a favor. So, uh, do you want me to call one of them up, repeat those words, make it official? What if I did? Are you — you serious? You want to — you want to get married, and this time for — for keeps? I’m saying… that I never want to leave you or wiley, or this new baby. No! Get the hell out of here! [ Laughs ] What are you doing — why are you in such a bad mood? Hey, I’m just here for a progress report on my friend. There won’t be any phone calls or any paperwork for your boss to worry about. That’s very good to hear. Yeah. And you? Me? Oh, crazy. I am not gonna alert the authorities and let them know that, you know, I just completely illegally did a medical procedure on somebody with a gunshot wound. But, mason… you are never gonna speak to maxie again.

[ Scoffs ] Wait a minute. So, what this — this “virtuous man” thing? That’s — it’s not an act? Who are you trying to be some kind of good guy for anyway? Who do you think? Oh. Oh, I get it. You’re acting out a country song. You know the title of it — “the love of a good woman making me turn over a new leaf”?

[ Laughs ] Come on, austin, I know you. The real you. You can’t possibly think that maxie and you are meant to be. The lady works for a fancy cosmetics company. And you? You’re more down and dirty than, well, anyone here knows. You know, I think if she knew the compromises and deals with the devil you’ve made, she’d be running for the hills. I’m gonna choose to believe that maxie cares about me enough to accept me. And if she accepts me…

[ Breathes deeply ] …She’ll accept all of my mistakes. Right. [ Sighs ] Because you’re meant to be. I’d love to test that theory. See you around, cuz.

[ Door opens ]

[ Door closes ] You know…I may not be a computer whiz like you are, but it doesn’t take rocket science to figure out that you went into the business of matchmaking right after ellie left you. I think deep down, you feel like if you can help other people find love, that it’ll mend your broken heart.

[ Breathes sharply ] You’re very astute. Look, spinelli, I know you’ve been in a sad place for a while now. But I have faith that you will find love again, that the right person is out there for you.

[ Waves crashing in distance ] Curtis left a message for taggert and is speaking with trina. So it’s just the two of us. And just so you know… curtis hasn’t got the results back from his genetic counselor. So until I have confirmation that curtis has the genetic markers for schizophrenia, there is no reason for me to worry trina with any of this, so… what if curtis has the dna markers? If he’s trina’s father, he could have passed them on to her. If he has the markers, then I will be the one to figure out what to do next. Well, I probably should be going. Right. Jordan, jordan, I-I-I-I — I just — I’m sorry. I-I do want to thank you, though, I —

[ Scoffs ] You’re taking care of us. You brought trina home. I appreciate that. And thank you for expediting the divorce papers. Well, it’s the least I could do since I lost the first set of papers. There’s just… so much that you don’t know.

[ Breathes sharply ] And with everything going on — I mean, the good, the bad — can’t you see that I’m right not turning everyone’s life upside down that I care about? Not now. Well, based on what? All of the victims so far are linked to trina’s trial. Ava was her mentor, diane, her attorney, and oz haggerty was the witness who got trina exonerated. Marshall being diagnosed with schizophrenia. Curtis getting tested for genetic markers. This is all about right now what’s happening, and all I’m asking you is just a little bit of time. [ Sighs ] She’s not picking up, because she knows I’m furious with her. The police stood in this living room, and they told her to stay put. Well, you said that joss was concerned with cam. When you were her age, if you were in the same situation, what would you have done? I would’ve jumped in the car and driven straight to kelly’s, but that’s not the point. Josslyn’s supposed to be smarter than I was. Wait, what are you doing? I’m going to kelly’S. Well, then we’re taking my car. You can’t take me, because we can’t be seen together. Hey, this is about joss. To hell with the sec, okay? Let’s go. -Come on. -[ Sighs ]

Okay, thank you. I’ll, uh, I’ll see you then. So what’d she say? She wants to see me tomorrow to discuss the test results. So that means there’s something to discuss? That was my impression.

[ Breathes deeply ] Okay, that’s it. I’m coming with you. And please don’t say that it’s — it’s not necessary. No, I was not going to say that. I… I want you there. Okay.

[ Sighing ] Well, let’s get you home. Hey, we got a big day tomorrow. I know the way your mind works, spinelli. So it makes sense that you would try to codify love, make an algorithm of it so it removes the uncertainty. But in the end, you’re still taking a risk. You can trust the algorithm first, but you still have to trust your heart. Hey. Austin, hey!

[ Chuckling ] Hi! Hi. How’s it going? Mm. I, uh, I got done at G.H., And you said that you were getting some takeout from here, so I took a chance. Glad I caught you. Oh, yeah. Uh, spinelli and I, we just got so wrapped up in talking about his society setups issues. M-maxie. No, it’s okay. I told austin that society setups is your baby, but you can trust him. You know, I-I’m not exactly comfortable with more people gaining the knowledge of my level of involvement. Though I’M…grateful for your silence thus far, austin. No problem. What do you say? Which absolutely puts her on our radar as someone we’re trying to bring in. But it’s too soon to focus on one suspect, since we don’t know anything for sure. Oh, my god. So, whoever the attacker is, they’re punishing those they feel wronged them. And they feel their cause is just. She is gutting people with a hook! She’s insane! And now you’re telling me that she tho– she’s focused on trina? That’s one theory my department’s pursuing. But we don’t have enough evidence to merit police protection. So I would feel better if trina and josslyn were extra cautious. Just until this killer is caught. Portia: [ Exhales sharply ] Gladys: Okay .[ Sighs ] You win. Thank you.

[ Sighs ] I know you’re just looking out for my best interests. I take my role as guardian very seriously. And I may have failedmy brando in life, but I will do right by his family in death. [ Breathes sharply ] I have no idea how to reach out to him. You’ll find a way. Always do. So many people told me that biology doesn’t matter. That not being related to the girls doesn’t make them any less mine. Those people would be correct. And now I’m on the other side of that. Just because cody and i share the same dna doesn’t mean that bond will magically appear. Doesn’t mean it won’t, either. If he is my son, we’ll have plenty of time to make up for.
