Hope is upset and disappointed that Steffy’s carrying Liam’s child again. Liam tells her how much he loves her and hopes that she’ll eventually be able to forgive him. He promises never to give up on her and their family. She says again that she doesn’t want to discuss it. It’s too much to process right now. She keeps yelling at him, sobbing, and he begs her not to give up on their family. She sinks to thee floor, crying, as Liam watches helplessly. He goes over and holds her. He doesn’t think there’s anything that they can’t overcome. He goes on and on about it and begs her for a chance. At Steffy’s house, Finn is still disappointed, too. He looks at the big picture of Steffy and Liam with disgust. Steffy gets a text from Amelia (who has Kelly). She apologizes to him again and wishes the baby were his. Finn tells her that he loves her too much to walk away. She urges him to “let it out.” He’s very angry at the results, and at himself, but not at her. Steffy tells him tearfully that he would have called the baby “John Finnegan, jr.” if it was a boy. She tells him that their love will get them through this. Finn thinks it’ll be hard for him and Hope to see Liam around all Steffy the time. Steffy thinks they can survive if he doesn’t give up on them. They hug.

At Forrester Creations, Thomas and Vinnie wait to hear about the paternity results. Vinnie thinks that Thomas hopes the baby will be Liam’s so that he’ll have a shot with Hope. After Thomas hears from Ridge, he worries about how Hope is doing. He agrees with Vinnie that he loves Hope, but he’s not going to do anything to interfere. At home, Brooke and Ridge also wait. He texts Steffy to see if there is any news. Steffy texts back, “Not Finn’s,” so Ridge tells Brooke. She’s upset. Bridget drops by for a visit. She’s in town for a medical conferences. Bridget can tell something is wrong. She guesses that Liam must be the father of Steffy’s baby, and they confirm it. Brooke wonders whether she should go over to see Hope or give her time. Bridget thinks Hope will act like she always does and put her own feelings aside for the good of her family. Ridge calls Thomas to give him the news.

Finn, Steffy Liam and Hope ask Doctor Campbell hopefully if Finn is the father, but she tells them that he isn’t. Hope leaves, upset. Steffy cries and tells Finn that she’s sorry. They go home. Finn offers to leave before Kelly comes home, but she doesn’t want him to leave. Finn is very disappointed because he’d already thought of the baby as his. He goes on and on about how great of a mother Steffy is to Kelly. He wanted the same bond with his child. He doesn’t know how he fits in to her life now. He thought that he’d broken her awful cycle with Liam and Hope. She cries more as she begs him not to give up on her. Liam follows Hope home. She’s very upset and says she doesn’t want to talk about it. She thinks it’s impossible for them to make a future now for their family. They talk about the past and how Liam screwed things up. Hope yells at him again for what he did. They argue. Liam keeps telling her that he’s not giving up.

At Forrester Creations, Thomas, Ridge and Brooke wonder whether they’ve gotten the paternity results back yet or not. Thomas tells them that he’s moving out on his own. He feels that he’s ready. Ridge and Brooke decide to go home, to be there for Hope if she needs them. Ridge and Brooke are glad not to argue about their kids any more. Vinnie drops by to say hi to Thomas. Thomas tells him about the paternity test. Vinnie thinks that if the baby turns out to be Liam’s, that would be good for Thomas. Thomas doesn’t want that. He wants Hope to be happy with Liam. Vinnie points out that none of the women Thomas has ever been with have come close to his feelings for Hope. He reminds Thomas that he’s there for him and there’s nothing he won’t do for him. He also adds “Where there’s a will, there’s a way.”

Abby confronted Gwen about Laura dying. Gwen wanted to know what she was going to do if she was responsible for her death. Abby said she was going to give her a real black eye. Kate and Philip talked about Gabi and how she was after Jake. Kate mentioned that she and Gabi used to be friends. He wanted to know what Gabi did to ruin it. Kate told her that Gabi tried to go after Jake. She said Gabi was trying to throw herself at Jake. Gabi told Jake that she was going to ruin him when Philip took her deal. Shawn stopped Abby and Gwen from fighting. Abby told him that Gwen admitted to killing Laura. Abby wanted Shawn to arrest her. Gwen wanted him to arrest Abby. He said he was going to take both of them to the station. Ben went to see Clyde to find out what happened to Vincent. Clyde said Vincent killed himself. Ben thought Clyde killed him. Ben said he needed Vincent alive so he could tell him where Ciara was. Rhodes told Ciara that Vincent was dead. She told Rhodes that he didn’t have to keep her captive anymore. Shawn wanted Abby and Gwen to talk to each other. He handcuffed them in the interrogation room. He left them alone so they could talk. Ben told Clyde about his theory about Ciara being alive. Ben said he talked to Susan and she confirmed that Ciara was alive. Clyde wanted to know what Susan told him. Ben said Susan said she saw a glass box and a shark. He said that was why he came to see Vincent. Clyde said he needed proof. Ben said Ciara called him for a few seconds. He said he heard her voice. Clyde wanted to know how Ciara could have called. He asked where could she be. Ben said she was being held against her will. Ben said Vincent was the only one who knew where she was. Clyde said that wasn’t true. Ciara told Rhodes that she wouldn’t tell anyone what he did. Rhodes said he didn’t believe her. He said even if he wanted to do it, someone else wanted to keep her. Clyde told Ben that Vincent had a visitor. Ben asked if he knew who the visitor was. Clyde said he didn’t, but he could find out. Ben realized that he would find out Vincent’s accomplice if he found out who the visitor was. Abby wanted Gwen to admit that she murdered her grandmother in cold blood.

Abby tried to get Gwen to admit to killing Laura. Gwen told her that Laura tried to apologize and make things better. Abby wanted to know what she did. Gwen said she told her that she destroyed her life. She said she asked Laura to leave. She said she was probably being set up by her and Shawn. Abby said she was arrested too. Gwen said it was probably an act. Ben went to see Shawn about Ciara. Ciara asked Rhodes why he wanted her to be there. Rhodes said she was wrong. She said his boss was dead. Rhodes said Vincent was dead. She asked if he was working for someone already. She said he didn’t seem upset about Vincent’s death. Rhodes said he still had to eat. He said his partner was paying him well. Orpheus told Clyde that he heard about Vincent. Clyde thanked him for telling him Ben was coming to visit. He wanted to know how he knew that. Orpheus said he knew everything. Clyde asked why he was back in prison. Orpheus reminded him that Kate got the better of him. Philip wanted to know why Kate was determined to take the deal with Gabi. He thought she was trying to keep Gabi from Jake. Gabi tried to convince Jake that he still wanted to be with her. Philip told Kate that he was going to make the deal with Gabi. Kate told him it was a good company. She suggested that he remain professional. Ben told Shawn that he needed to find out who went to see Vincent. Shawn said he talked to Hope and she was checking a lead. Ben said Ciara was still alive. He said she called him. Shawn said he would check on the man who visited Vincent. Rhodes asked Ciara why he should tell her who he works for. Ciara said she would figure it out on her own. She said he was in the prison so it was someone there. She asked if it was Eve. Rhodes said she was cold. Ciara wanted to know who else knew she was alive. Gwen told Abby about how she grew up. She asked if Abby could find it in her heart to care. Abby said she would care if it was true. Gwen said it was true. Abby told her Laura wasn’t perfect, but she didn’t get to play God with her life. Abby said she was going to make her pay. Shawn showed up and gave them the option to leave if they dropped the charges against each other or they would sit in a holding cell. They chose to drop the charges. Rhodes told Ciara that his new employer was paying him. He said if he didn’t pay him, he would have no reason to keep her alive. Orpheus wanted to know why Ben wanted to see Vincent. Clyde told him he believed his wife was still alive. He said Vincent knew the truth and it might have died with him. Shawn found out that Rhodes was the alias of the man who went to see Vincent. Ben wanted to go to his address.

Amanda tells Naya that she wants nothing to do with her if she intends to keep her a secret from her family. Mariah is worried that Sharon will lose Rey because she can’t let go of Adam. Mariah tells Nick that Adam is coming between Sharon and Rey so Nick warns Adam he won’t let him ruin Sharon’s happiness. Rey tells Lola that he thinks he made the same mistake twice by once again marrying a woman who is in love with another man. Sharon gets a call about Faith and rushes out the door.

Ridge and Brooke are at work. She hopes he’s not mad at her for not telling him about Steffy being pregnant; Steffy asked to tell him herself. Ridge completely understands. Ridge gets a text from Steffy to let him know that they’re at the hospital, waiting for the paternity test results. Thomas comes in and wants to know if there’s any news, so Ridge tells him. They all agree that it would be best if Finn is the father of Steffy’s baby. Ridge makes a joke about them all agreeing on something. Thomas apologizes to Ridge and Brooke for the things he’s done in the past. He hopes Brooke can forgive him. She smiles in return. Ridge is proud of how Thomas has turned his life around. Thomas and Brooke rehash some of the past. Brooke is suspicious but willing to give Thomas a chance. Thomas tells her that he does care about Hope and what makes her happy. He hopes that Steffy’s babydaddy is Finn, for Hope’s sake.

Finn and Steffy wait in the doctor’s office. Finn is happy that Ridge has been nice to him, considering he’s new. Steffy can tell Ridge likes him and that he’s a good judge of character. Hope and Liam arrive. Doctor Campbell comes in and says they’ll get the results any minute. Steffy is stressed out, so the doctor warns her to manage her stress levels to protect the baby. Hope and Liam give Finn and Steffy some time alone. Finn tries to stay positive. They talk about the possible future with their new baby. Liam and Hope find an office to hang out in while they wait. Liam apologizes to her again for what they’re going through. They look forward to a new chapter in their lives. Liam is relieved that Hope is open to working through their problems. Liam and Hope return to Finn and Steffy. Hope tells them that she hopes they can all get along. The doctor returns, so they want to know the answer.

Nate figures out that Elena slept with Devon by her body language and how tense and anxious she seems so Nate decides to ask Elena the question and she admits she did sleep with Devon. Elena apologizes to Nate and assures him that the one-night stand served to make it clear to her and Devon that their relationship is in the past. Nate thinks Elena doesn’t know what she wants so he decides to go think by taking a walk on the beach. Devon has no problem moving on with Amanda after they make love they talk about all his tattoos mean to him and why he had them tattooed on himself. Devon and Amanda also share ice cream and Devon makes it clear to Amanda that his relationship with Elena is in his past. Devon and Amanda decide not to label their relationship just enjoy it and then they go upstairs and make love again. Rey and Sharon have a very long talk because Rey thinks Sharon emotionally cheated on him with Adam. Rey is tired of Sharon putting Adam’s needs ahead of him and her children and asks her to not see Adam anymore. Victor also thinks Adam is lying to himself by saying that he and Sharon are just friends. Victor thinks Adam and Sharon have a strong connection because no matter what happens they keep coming back to each other. Sharon goes to Society to have a drink and sees Adam and she takes the opportunity to tell Adam that she can’t treat Chelsea anymore because Rey thinks she is getting too close to him and its putting her marriage at risk. Adam wonders why Rey thinks this and Sharon starts to walk away but Adam grabs her hand and pulls her toward him and gives her a kiss.

Ben and Claire went to see Marlena to find out if Susan was still with her. Marlena said she went out. Marlena wanted to know why they wanted to see Susan. Ben said he knew for a fact that Ciara was still alive. Rhodes went to see Vincent at the prison, but he saw Orpheus instead. Orpheus said he was going to deal with him instead. Ivan went to see Vivian in the interrogation room. He apologized to her for what happened. She told him it was alright. She wanted him to kill her. Ivan told Vivian that he couldn’t help her because he didn’t have the herbs to help her. He gave her a piece of paper. Kristen wanted to know if Susan was going to change her mind about helping her. Kristen told her that Chloe wanted to be with Brady. Kristen tried to convince Susan to take her place at the prison. Ben told Marlena that he heard Ciara on the phone. Ben told Marlena that Susan had a vision of what was happening to Ciara. He said Susan said Ciara was alive. Marlena called Susan while she was on the phone with Kristen. Marlena asked her if she could come back to her place. Susan said she would be there right away. Ivan asked Vivian if she could ever forgive her. She said she knew he did it out of loyalty to her. He said he did it out of love. Orpheus confronted Rhodes about having Ciara. Ben told Susan that he heard Ciara say she loved him. Susan wanted the phone. While she was holding the phone, her own phone rang. She told Kristen that it wasn’t a good time to talk. Ben demanded to know who it was.

Ben and Claire left Marlena’s townhouse when Susan needed a break. Marlena wanted to know what was bothering Susan. Marlena thought it was the phone calls. Kristen was upset when Susan didn’t answer the phone. Vivian walked in on Kristen. Kristen told Vivian that they used to be sympathetic towards each other, but they weren’t anymore. Kristen said Lani was her friend. Vivian told her that Lani killed her son. Kristen reminded her that the bullet was meant for her. Kristen said Lani’s first child was stillborn and then her twins were kidnapped. Kristen warned Vivian to leave Lani alone. Orpheus told Rhodes that he knew what Vincent did to Ciara. Claire told Ben that he didn’t make up Ciara being alive. She said she had an idea on how they could find out where Ciara was. Claire said they had to go back to the beginning and look at where the car exploded. Ben said he and Hope looked all over the area. They realized that someone had Ciara locked up. Orpheus told Rhodes that Hope was on a mission to find Ciara. Rhodes said Hope was looking in all the wrong places. Vivian wanted to know how Kristen was going to see her daughter. Vivian asked if she was going to break out again. Vivian said she wanted to help. Claire told Ben that Vincent couldn’t have Ciara. Ben said Vincent was working with somebody. He wanted to go to Statesville to ask someone questions. Orpheus said he wanted to work with Rhodes. Rhodes wanted to know what he wanted from him.

Ben answered his phone and asked if it was Ciara on the phone. Ciara was surprised that Ben was able to hear her. He didn’t hear her voice. He only heard static on the phone. Ciara didn’t want him to hang up on her. Rhodes walked in the room and saw her on the phone. She let Ben know she loved him when Rhodes took the phone from her. She said Ben loved her. Ben called out to Ciara, but they were disconnected when Rhodes ended the call. He rushed out of the room. Rhodes was upset with Ciara for pulling another stunt. She asked him if he was going to kill her. He let her know he wouldn’t kill her, but he warned her not to try anything again. He walked out of the room. Ciara cried and believed Ben heard her on the phone. Charlie and Claire saw each other at the park. She was shocked to find out the charges against him were dropped. Charlie told her how he had sex with Allie and it was consensual. She tried to walk away, but he stopped her. He wanted her to hear what he had to say. He informed her that Allie was flirting with him in London. She wanted to know why he allowed Tripp to take the fall for what he did. He told her that he didn’t want to lose her because he had sex with her cousin. He let her know how much he loved her. Charlie hoped she felt the same way about him. She thought he was disgusting and recapped what he did to Allie. She walked away from him again, but he grabbed her wrist. Ben arrived and saw what Charlie was doing to Claire. He pushed Charlie away from her. She let Charlie know he was nothing to her and walked away. Ben warned him to stay away from Claire and went after her.

Ben and Claire went to the pub. He assured her that he wouldn’t allow Charlie to bother her again. He let her know that Ciara called him. He was convinced he heard her voice on the phone. Claire wasn’t sure if he did hear Ciara, but he was convinced he did. She suggested he call Susan to get her help. Allie talked to Marlena about feeling guilty for accusing Tripp of raping her. She would understand if he never forgave her. Marlena assured her things would be okay. Marlena wanted her to think about the future. Allie admitted she was having trouble sleeping because she kept seeing Charlie attacking her. Lucas saw Tripp leaving the pub. Lucas apologized to Tripp for accusing him of raping Allie. Tripp understood how he felt. Lucas let him know Charlie was set free and Tripp became enraged. Lucas let Allie know Charlie said they had consensual sex so the London police weren’t going to pursue the case. Allie was upset because she relived the moment for nothing. Charlie ran into them and wanted to know if Henry was his son. Lucas threatened to kill him. He went after him, but Allie tried to stop him.

Amanda cooked dinner with Devon, and they shared stories from their past. Things heated up and they went upstairs together. Elena and Nate enjoyed their vacation in Manzanillo. After he told her how much he thought of her, she accidentally called him Devon. He believed it was just a mistake, but he did wonder if she wished she was still with Devon. She assured Nate that she wanted to be with him and that she didn’t think of Devon that way anymore. Kyle told Summer about his affair with the wife of a ruthless and powerful older man. She wasn’t upset. He worried Ashland would target them, and he figured it was best to do nothing. He convinced her that they shouldn’t go after Sally. Sally had drinks with Jack, and he told her about traveling the world. She wanted to do that, and she was interested in having company, but he said sometimes it was best to discover things alone. Sally overheard Phyllis and Nick talking about her. Sally charmed Nick, and annoyed Phyllis. Phyllis privately told Nick that she’d make sure Sally paid if she went after Summer. Summer and Kyle ran into her concerned parents. Summer told Phyllis that things were fine, but Phyllis didn’t believe that, and she vowed to find out what was going on.

Vivian didn’t believe Jake was himself. She said he was Stefan. Kate told her that he was her son. They talked about Vivian kidnapping the babies. Vivian said she was their mother, but Kate reminded her that she wasn’t. She let her know that the babies were rescued and Ivan was in jail. Rafe warned Nicole to stay away from Charlie because she was going to ruin his chance of putting him away. Ava warned Charlie that no one would believe him about his innocence. She said she was his mother and didn’t believe him. Ava couldn’t believe Charlie could rape a woman. He didn’t care what she thought of him. He said he had a good job and a good girlfriend. She told him how a Salem cop found her kidnapped in his apartment. She was determined to tell the police everything he did so he couldn’t hurt anyone else. Ciara assured Rhodes that she and Ben would be together again. Ben was convinced he and Ciara were together and thought they were Romeo and Juliet. Claire had trouble believing it. He wanted to go to Statesville to see Vincent. Ciara reminded Rhodes that Vincent was in prison for life. He said he was being paid well. Ciara noticed his phone on the table. She thought she could get to the phone. Kate told Vivian about taking Philip from her and how she refused to let her take another woman’s babies from her. Rafe talked to Nicole about having Ava’s statement and she was willing to testify against Charlie. He wanted her to stop pursuing the idea of going after Charlie. He promised he would make sure Charlie would go away for a long time. Charlie couldn’t believe his own mother would hate him. She said she hated what he did. She called him a loser and said he would get what he deserved. He thought she would get what she deserved when he killed her. Charlie was about to choke Ava out when Rafe and Nicole arrived. He wanted to know if he interrupted something. Ava grabbed for her neck.

Kate apologized to Jake for what she said to Vivian. He was okay with what she said. She regretted letting her get to her. She didn’t think she had a soul or a conscience. Claire didn’t think Ben should let Vincent know he was looking for Ciara. She explained why it would be a mistake. She convinced him not to go see Vincent. She said there was someone who could help him find her. He hoped she didn’t mean Susan. Ciara tried to get Vincent’s phone. Kate let Jake know that Vivian cared about her kids. He was surprised because she treated him like an errand boy. Charlie ended up leaving Ava’s room. Ciara found a hanger to try and get Rhodes’ phone. Ben didn’t like the idea of getting Susan’s help. Claire told him how it was a good idea to get Susan’s help. Nicole asked Ava if Charlie threatened her. She said he did. She also said Charlie was going to get hurt. She was determined to stop him from hurting a woman ever again. Claire wanted to talk to Susan so they could figure out where to find Ciara. Ciara was able to get the phone. Kate revealed to Vivian that she was seeing Jake. They started kissing each other until Vivian went off on her. Kate knew Vivian was faking. Vivian wanted Jake to tell her that Kate was lying. He said it was true. Vivian was upset. Kate asked her if she liked the fact their conversation was recorded. Ava planned to testify against Charlie. Nicole reminded her that Charlie was dangerous and she shouldn’t go back to her place. Ava knew she didn’t have room for her. Nicole offered Rafe’s place. Charlie tried to call Claire and she ended up being behind him. Ciara called Ben and he finally answered the phone.

Steve wanted to marry Kayla, but he realized the timing was off since Laura was killed. He wasn’t sure if he should do it since he wanted Jack and Jennifer to be in the wedding. Jack called Steve and insisted he and Kayla get married. He told Steve that Laura would want them to get married. Tripp was ready to step in and be his best man. Marlena called and let him know that she and John had food poisoning and couldn’t be at the wedding. Marlena was supposed to officiate the wedding so Steve thought it was going to be another setback. Abe was willing to step in and marry them. He was having second thought about surprising Kayla with a wedding. He remembered they were in trouble the last time because he didn’t tell her what happened. He thought he should talk to her about it first.

The wedding was underway. Steve poured his heart out to Kayla and talked to her about how much she meant to him. He knew she was the one for him and that would never change. Kayla didn’t have time to prepare a speech so she spoke from her heart too. She told him how much he meant to her and how she admired him. She mentioned how they were getting married for the fourth time. She thought this would be the last time they were doing it. Abe pronounced them man and wife. Steve and Kayla kissed each other. Jake and Kate weren’t happy to find out Vivian was alive after all. He wanted to see Vivian. Kate wasn’t thrilled with the idea of him going to see Vivian. He wanted to see her anyway. Kate decided to go with him. She wanted to make sure Vivian didn’t try anything. Vivian told Eli and Lani the twins were her sons Jake and Stefan. Everyone questioned whether she was crazy or not. Eli and Kate felt like she was pretending to be crazy so she could avoid prison. Eli didn’t want to stay at the station. He wanted to be with Lani and the twins. Kate went to talk to Vivian. Vivian assumed she was the public defender. Kate didn’t answer the question. She asked Vivian if she wanted to meet her son Jake.

Gwen was shocked when she realized she killed Laura. She called Jack to come and help her out. He arrived at her room and was surprised by what happened. She assured him that what happened was an accident. Jack believed her side of the story. He believed her, but he wasn’t going to cover up what she did. He decided to call the police. Rafe showed up at the inn and found out what happened to Laura. He arrested Gwen and took her to the station. Jack had a hard time dealing with the fact that he had to go home and tell Jennifer and Abby what happened to Laura. Julie was upset because she hadn’t heard from Eli and Lani for a while. She wondered if they found the twins. Rafe heard her talking about Eli and Lani so he tried to remain positive about the situation. He was certain they would find the twins.

Eli and Lani couldn’t believe Ivan tricked them into getting locked up in a room. They made a lot of noise so they could be heard. Vivian was able to hear them talking and asked Ivan what happened. Ivan had to confess they had unwanted visitors there. Vivian wanted to know what was going on so he admitted Eli and Lani were being held hostage. She wanted to know why and he told her they were the parents of the twins. Vivian decided she had to finish what she started. She wanted to kill Eli and Lani. She went to kill them, but she wasn’t able to do it. Eli and Lani managed to outsmart her. They were able to stop her and tied her up. They were also able to tie Ivan up. They managed to find their babies after all. Chad was ecstatic when Abby agreed to move back into the mansion. She let him know she wasn’t ready to forgive him right now. She considered it a step in the right direction. Later, Abby went to Jack and Jennifer’s place to get her things. Jennifer was happy that Abby was ready to work things out with Chad. Jack arrived home to let them know that Laura was dead.

Everyone waits anxiously for the results of Steffy’s paternity test. Finn tells Steffy how much she means to him. She can’t believe how calm and unaffected he seems. Her doctor phones to let her know that the test is done and that she should come down to the office.

Liam urges Hope to speak honestly to him, rather than hold it all in, so she does. She talks about how hurt she is and how she wonders how good their marriage was before he cheated. She asks him if he hopes the baby is his or not. He tells her that he hopes the baby is Finn’s because he wants his life with her back. He begs again to make it up to her. They get the call from Steffy and head for the hospital. Meanwhile, Ridge and Brooke discuss their kids. Brooke just wants to protect Hope.

Victor told Xander that Philip wasn’t fired. Xander was upset. Victor told him that Philip resigned. Xander was relieved until Victor told him that he didn’t accept his resignation. Laura went to see Gwen so she could explain what she did. Gwen allowed her to explain. Laura told her she would have done something if she knew that Gwen’s mother wouldn’t have taken care of her. Gwen thought she wouldn’t have done anything. Laura said she was thinking about her own family. Xander wanted to know why Victor wasn’t letting Philip quit. Victor said Philip is his son and Titan was going to be his one day. Xander wanted to know what was going to happen to him. Victor said they would both be CEOs. Susan went to see Kristen. Kristen asked her about Brady. While they were talking, Susan told her Chloe was going to see her. Laura told Gwen that she felt like she couldn’t let her mother turn her daughter’s life upside down. Gwen wanted to know what she did to Jennifer. Laura didn’t want to tell her. Gwen wanted to know what she did that would justify turning her mother away. Laura told her that she slept with Jack. Gwen couldn’t believe that Laura slept with Jack. Laura told her she was sick and never met Jack. She told Gwen that she met Jack at the Meadow. She said it was a treatment center. Gwen said it was romantic. Laura said that wasn’t how it was. She said she went to see Jennifer and then saw Jack. Gwen asked if she tried to keep it from Jennifer. Gwen said the secret came out and then her mother came to town. Laura said she couldn’t come between Jack and Jennifer. She said Abby needed her parents. Gwen asked if she thought about what she needed. Laura said she knew it sounded cold, but she had to fix things. Xander was furious that Victor didn’t make Philip pay for what he did. Xander reminded Victor that he was the one who discovered that Philip was laundering money. He wanted Philip to be demoted, but Victor didn’t want to demote him. Xander said he didn’t know what he was doing there. Susan told Kristen that she saw Chloe getting ready to see Brady. Kristen wanted to know what Chloe said about Brady. Susan said Chloe told her that she was glad Brady was okay and that he meant a lot to her. Susan asked if that was sweet. Kristen said it wasn’t because Chloe was trying to take Brady from her while she was in prison.

Gwen told Laura that her life changed because two messed up people couldn’t be honest with each other. Gwen thought she might have had a father and a home. She thought she might have been different. She thought she and Abby might have been close. She said she might not have been a manipulative b*tch. Susan thought Kristen wanted her to spy on Brady and Chloe and report back to her. Kristen said she wanted to watch them herself. Victor told Xander that he and Philip were going to be CEO. He said nothing was changing. Xander said nothing ever did. He said no matter how much Philip messed up, he was given the benefit of the doubt. He said no matter what he did it was never enough. He brought up how he switched the babies for him. Victor said he did it for Sarah. Xander said he did it for him so he could protect Maggie. He said he did a lot and it was for nothing. Victor wanted to know what he was trying to say. Xander told him that he quit. Susan wanted to know how Kristen was going to keep an eye on Brady and Chloe while she was in prison. Susan asked if she was breaking out of prison. Kristen said she had a way to walk out without people knowing about it. Xander told Victor that he hoped he would find his place at Titan. Victor told him he wasn’t going to chase after him. Xander said it wouldn’t have done anything if he did because it was too late. When Xander left, Victor told Philip that he enjoyed what happened. Philip said he didn’t and walked out. Laura apologized to Gwen for what she did. Gwen asked if she could give her her life back. Laura told her she could have her family. Gwen said it was too late. Laura said it wasn’t too late. Gwen asked if she thought Abby would accept her as her sister after she slept with her husband. She said Jack said he wanted to be her father, but it was just guilt. She told Laura that the damage she did couldn’t be undone. Laura apologized. She said it was a mistake for her to come. Gwen stopped her from leaving. Gwen told her that she wanted revenge because she ruined her life and wasn’t going to get away with it. Kristen tried to convince Susan to switch places with her.

Theo and Sally met with Kyle. Theo let revealed that he’d run into the married woman Kyle used to date in NY. The woman had a young son she was passing off as her husband’s but the boy looked like Kyle. Sally realized Kyle never knew about the pregnancy. Kyle denied impregnating anyone and called Theo a liar. Sally told Kyle she didn’t want to blow up his life. She wanted to peacefully coexist with him and Summer. Nick was pleasantly surprised Victoria apologized to Phyllis. He asked Phyllis to attend the family gathering, but she declined.

Victoria found out Billy was going to tell Johnny that he was dating Lily. She thought it was too soon. Billy told her that he was serious about Lily. Lily and Billy spent time with Johnny. Johnny asked Lily if she was Billy’s girlfriend. Billy said yes, and Johnny asked if that meant Victoria and Billy weren’t getting back together. Billy assured Johnny that he had two parents who loved him and that he and Katie would always come first. Nikki and Victor prepared to meet their children for dinner. He wasn’t happy when she told him that Victoria had been thinking back on her relationship with Billy. He lamented that Adam wouldn’t be involved. Nick, Victoria and Abby joined the dinner. Abby told everyone her surrogacy news, and they were all happy for her. Victoria asked Billy how Johnny took the news, and he said it went well. Summer told Phyllis how happy she and Kyle were. She was concerned about what Sally would do in the future. Phyllis said that Summer had the upper hand. Kyle rushed in upset and talked to Summer in private. He said Sally knew what he did, and he could lose everything. Phyllis and Nick were concerned about what was going on with Kyle. Sally thanked Theo for this information. She now felt protected from anything Summer and Kyle might try and use against her.

Eli wanted Ivan to get away from the door. Ivan was impressed with his and Lani’s sleuthing. Lani demanded to know where her babies were. Ivan told them they were still alive. Chloe told Philip that Brady was okay. He was thankful for that. He thought his relationship with his father was in jeopardy. Kristen called Brady to check on him. He said he was fine, but he was upset. She was upset too and blamed Chloe for what happened. He was mad at her for what she did. Susan told Claire and Ben that Ciara was trapped in a glass box. Ciara tried to get away from Rhodes, but he grabbed her hand. She managed to get away, but he grabbed his gun to stop her from leaving. Philip thought everyone blamed him for what happened to Brady. Chloe told him one person didn’t blame him. She let him know that Kristen blamed her for what happened. Brady and Kristen argued over her breaking out of jail. Philip and Chloe talked about Kristen being after her. He regretted getting her help, but she didn’t mind doing it. He was grateful that she was always by his side. She told him that he was her friend. He wondered if that’s all they were. He kissed her. Eli and Lani warned Ivan to step aside. Ivan figured the doctor told them where to find him. Eli told him they were coming inside, but Ivan told them it would be a mistake. Ben was surprised when Susan said there was a gun. He wanted to know what happened. Claire asked her if the gun was fired and she said she lost the signal. Ben asked her to try again, but the signal was lost. She said there might be a way to connect to Ciara.

Rhodes warned Ciara that he had no problem shooting her. She reminded him that Vincent wasn’t paying him to guard a corpse. She knew he wasn’t going to shoot her. Susan held Ben’s hands and realized that Ciara was fighting to get back to him. She continued to visualize what happened when Claire interrupted her. Rhodes let Ciara know he was tired of guarding her. He also told her how he had one thing in his favor. The world thought she was dead so he could kill her. She gave in and went back inside the room. Kristen thought Chloe guilted Brady into helping her. Kristen confronted Brady about lying to her. He admitted that he lied. She wanted to know why he lied to her unless something was going on with Chloe. Chloe stopped the kiss with Philip. He thought he was trying to fix things. He admitted he made the biggest mistake by letting him go. He wanted to have another chance with her. Eli couldn’t believe Ivan threatened his kids while he had a gun to his head. Ivan knew Eli and Lani wanted to be reunited with the babies, but they had to do it a certain way. He said Vivian was fragile so getting the babies would be hard. Lani offered to talk to her. He reminded her that she killed her son. He thought she would hurt them to get back at her. Susan continued to have visions about Ciara. She screamed because a gun went off. Ciara fought Rhodes over the gun. He told her one of them could have been killed. She thought someone heard the gunshot. He reminded her the room was soundproof. He warned her the next time someone got hurt it would be her. Ben wanted to know what else happened. Susan didn’t see anymore. Ben demanded she try harder to find out what happened to Ciara. Claire stopped Ben from forcing Susan to tell him about Ciara. Brady continued to explain to Kristen why he didn’t tell her about Chloe. Chloe thought Philip was dealing with too much right now. Philip recapped what he did and realized he wouldn’t be good for her. He wondered if she was interested in another former boyfriend. Eli refused to give up his gun. Lani was willing to leave her gun in the hallway. Eli wanted to make sure Ivan wasn’t armed. Eli put down his gun. They went inside the apartment and she noticed a towel. Lani picked it up and sniffed it. Chloe told Philip that Brady was just a friend and she wasn’t interested in him. Philip reminded her that Kristen was going to be in prison longer so he would want to be with her. She said Brady loved Kristen. He told her Brady was jealous when he thought they slept together. Kristen thought Brady would fall for someone else while she was in jail. He didn’t like how she did something to keep them away from each other. Susan showed up in Brady’s room. Ben felt like he lost Ciara all over again. Ciara called out for help. Ivan wanted Eli and Lani’s phones. He told them their children were on the other side of the door. He wanted them to promise they would be gentle with Vivian. Eli demanded he let them in the apartment. They went inside the bedroom and he locked them in the room. Ivan went to Vivian and lied about who was at the door. Vivian appreciated what he did for her. He refused to let anyone get in the way of her raising her children. Chloe thought Philip should focus on what he’s dealing with now and not about her and Brady. He wanted to clean up his act and hoped they would get back together. Kristen was upset that Susan was free and she was stuck in prison. She had an idea about Susan. Susan talked to Brady about having a premonition about him being shot.

Lauren promotes Sally to junior director of internet marketing. Jack takes her out to lunch to celebrate her new job. Kyle tells Summer he is worried about the growing friendship. Kyle also tells Summer that she should not use the information they know about Sally just yet. Gloria asks Michael for his support when she tries to get the job as Lauren’s assistant. Adam asks Sharon to use a confrontational approach with Chelsea during their therapy sessions. Sharon does that and when Adam walks Sharon out Chelsea imagines that Adam and Sharon are kissing. Chelsea moves her arm because she is a afraid she will lose Connor if she doesnt get better. Adam thanks Sharon for her help and they hold hands and Rey walks into Crimson Lights and sees them holding hands. Theo returns to Genova City to tell Sally that when Kyle lived in New York, he fell in love with an older married woman who is the wife of ruthless businessman Ashland Locke. Ashland never knew about the affair that happened four years ago. Theo recently found out that Ashland has a son named Harrison who is three years old.

Elena decides to take a vacation with Nate to try and stop thinking about her one-night stand with Devon. Victoria tells Billy that she doesn’t want Lily spending time with the kids unless he is sure his relationship with Lily is going to last. Billy realizes that his relationship with Lily is going to last and Lily feels the same way. Hannah calls Victoria to tell her Billy wants to spend time with the kids and he will be alone when he comes to pick them up. Victoria called to cancel an appointment so she can be home when Billy arrives to pick up the kids. Christine explains to Abby and Nina that Chance was called away to work undercover to finish up the case he was working on in Vegas. Christine gives Abby and Nina letters Chance left for them. Chance wants Abby to find a sperm donor and go ahead with their plans to have a baby. Chance asks Nina to take care of Abby for him until he returns home. Abby is unsure of what she should do and Nina advises her to do what Chance asked of her because it will give him a reason to come home. Abby talks to Mariah to let her know what is going on and she agrees to go ahead with their plans.

Susan went to see Marlena to tell her that she had a premonition that Brady got shot. Marlena said he was shot. Brady wanted to know why he was in the hospital. Chloe told him he was shot. Lani tried to convince Eli that Vivian was behind the kidnapping. He said Vivian died of a heart attack. He said she died of a massive heart attack. Lani asked if there was a death certificate. He said he saw it. She asked if Ivan claimed her body right away. Eli said he did. Vivian told Ivan to take the babies back. He said he couldn’t. He said he got them from a reputable place. He said the deal was done. She said she wasn’t young enough to take care of the twins. Rhodes tried to tell Ciara that Ben thought she was dead. She said he would never think that. He said Ben probably moved on already. Ben told Claire that he thought Ciara was alive. He said he knew it in his heart that she was alive. Ben wondered if Claire thought he was losing it. She didn’t think he was losing it and she didn’t think Hope was losing it either. She hoped he and Ciara had the connection like the other couples. She had to go to Marlena’s place and she suggested he go with her. Susan arrived and let Marliena know she had a premonition Brady would be shot. Marlena told her that he was shot. Susan wanted to know what happened. Marlena explained what happened. Susan thought Kristen was behind it. Susan couldn’t believe Brady would be with Kristen. Marlena defended Kristen to Susan. She told Susan that Kristen broke out of prison to be with Brady. Eli wanted to know why Vivian’s body was released so quickly. Ivan told Vivian that all she had to do was love the twins. She said they could do worse than have a mother like her. Chloe told Brady he was in her room when the mob showed up. She asked if he remembered that. He said he remembered some of it. She said the mob was trying to kill Philip, but got him instead. She said it was her fault. Ben and Claire went to see Marlena. Susan told Ben to stay away from her. Ciara pretended to have a pain in her stomach. Rhodes asked what was wrong with her. She said it was the food. She said he poisoned her.

Rhodes said he didn’t poison Ciara’s food. He said Vincent needed her alive. She told him to help her. Marlena told Susan that she wasn’t in danger. She said he wasn’t going to hurt her or anyone else. She said Ben had the same therapy he did. Susan said she was going through a hard time. Marlena said Ben wouldn’t hurt her. Brady told Chloe it wasn’t her fault. She said she dragged him in the mess. He said he chose to get involved. She said Sarah told him he was going to make a full recovery. He said Philip was the one to blame for not turning down her offer. She said Kristen blamed her. He asked if Kristen was upset. She said she broke out of prison. Eli and Lani talked about the warehouse Nicole was in with Vivian. He wanted to call Nicole to find out where the warehouse was. Claire told Marlena that Ben had to tell her something about Ciara. Marlena said she wanted to hear it. Ciara told Rhoades to open the door. She passed out. Rhodes went in the room. Eli and Lani went to the warehouse. He tried to open the door, but it was locked. He wanted to shoot the door, but she stopped him. He said their babies were inside. She said they couldn’t go in there shooting. Chloe told Brady that Kristen had a gun. He said she could have added years to her sentence. Ben told Marlena why he thought Ciara was still alive. Ben told Susan that he thought Ciara was alive. Susan said she believed in premonitions. She said she believed that Ciara could be alive. She said she would do everything she could to help him find Ciara. Rhodes tried to help Ciara. Brady told Chloe to tell him what was going on. He thought she wasn’t telling him something. She told him that Kristen threatened to kill her. She said John stopped her, but Kristen warned her that it wasn’t over. Susan said Ciara was alive. Ciara hit Rhodes on the head with a tray when his back was turned.
