Ben talked to Marlena about Ciara and how he didn’t want to lose her again. Sarah tried to get Kristen to let her go. Sarah said she wouldn’t tell anyone what she was doing. Kristen said she had too many scruples. Sarah told her it was her wedding day. Kristen said it would be time for her to think about her decision. Sarah told her that Xander would look for her and she would tell what Kristen did. When Kristen didn’t look concerned, Sarah asked if she was going to kill her. Jack told Julie that Ciara was alive. Claire saw Theo at the hospital. She told him that Ciara was alive, but she was hurt. Ben told Marlena what happened when he rescued Ciara. Kristen told Sarah that she wasn’t a killer. Sarah said Hailey Chin would disagree. Kristen said it was an accident. She said she was at the wrong place at the wrong time like Hailey. Sarah wanted to know what she was going to do with her. Jack told Julie that he wanted to wait to tell Doug. Julie asked if he wanted to be sure that Ciara was going to be all right. Ben told Marlena that he wouldn’t be able to prepare himself for Ciara possibly dying after all the hope he had. Marlena said Ciara was a survivor. She said they have been through so much together. She said they have been each other’s strength. She said he believed that Ciara was alive. She said Ciara would come back to him.

Marlena told Ben that she had a connection with John. She said she could feel his pain. She told Ben that he and Ciara had love. She said she knew Ciara was feeling his love. Claire told Theo what happened with Evan and how Shawn got shot. She ended up asking him about his relationship. He told her they broke up. Kristen told Sarah that Xander would look for her so the further away she was the better. She said Stefano had a deserted island to keep people who knew too much. Sarah asked if she was being serious. Kristen said her family meant everything to her. Sarah said she should have thought about that before she broke out of prison. Kristen told her not to make her regret not killing her. Sarah told her she was going to be sorry. She said Xander wouldn’t stop looking for her and would find out the truth. She said he was going to make her pay. Kristen said Xander wouldn’t look for her if she broke his heart and dumped him. Sarah said she wouldn’t break Xander’s heart. Kristen took Sarah’s phone and said that she didn’t want to marry Xander. Sarah said he wouldn’t believe it unless it came from her mouth. Xander ended up calling Sarah. Claire told Theo that she dated a sociopath. He asked if she thought Sami killed Charlie. Ben started coughing a lot. Marlena wanted him to get checked. He said he wasn’t going anywhere until Ciara was out of surgery. He thanked her for being there. Kristen told Sarah that she would be able to convince Xander that she didn’t want to see him again. Kristen said she would tell him that she never got over what he did with her baby. Sarah said she forgave him. Sarah told her being Susan wasn’t the way to be with Brady and Rachel. Sarah said she would do anything she could to help her. She said the authorities would go easy on her. She told her to let her go for Rachel. Kristen said she couldn’t do it. Sarah told her to send the text. She said Xander wouldn’t believe that she would break up with him unless she was standing in front of her. Kristen said she gave her a great idea.

Sarah was surprised to see Kristen at Basic Black. She realized Kristen was pretending to be Susan. Kristen confessed to it, but tried to explain it because Chloe was after Brady. She wanted Sarah to keep her secret. Sarah told her that she couldn’t do that for her. Kristen reminded her that she gave Xander a pass. Sarah told her that Xander changed. She knew he did bad things, but he wasn’t like that anymore. Kristen reminded her how he allowed her to fall in love with a baby that wasn’t hers. She wouldn’t forget he did that, but she knew he did it because he loved her. Chloe talked to Brady about her encounter with Susan. She said Susan made her realize something she hadn’t thought of before. She thought about Kristen convincing her that she loved Brady. Brady wanted her to talk to him about it. She was about to when Xander and Jack arrived at the pub. He told them he was getting married. They didn’t care that he was getting married. Chloe felt sorry for Sarah. Rex showed up at the pub and wondered who would marry Xander. Xander told him how he was the one marrying Sarah. He couldn’t believe Sarah would marry him. They ended up arguing until Xander told him the best man won. Jack stopped Xander from arguing with him. Rex said Sarah still had time to back out of the wedding.

Ben looked through the glass and noticed the wreck. He demanded that Evan let him in the room. Evan did what he wanted, but he warned him that it wasn’t safe. He told Ben to come back another day to look for Ciara’s body. Ben hit him with the gun and knocked him out. He was determined to find Ciara. He started looking through the rubble to find Ciara. He started choking but he lifted up the mattress. He found Ciara passed out under it. Ben tried to call for help. Evan pointed the gun at Ben. Ben wasn’t worried about Evan shooting them because his story with Ciara wasn’t going to end like that. The debris fell on Evan when he was about to shoot them. He ended up collapsing. Belle met Shawn at the hospital and he told her about Ciara. He wanted to help Ben find Ciara. Claire went to call Ben when he walked in the hospital with Ciara. Sarah didn’t want to explain to Kristen why she was able to forgive Xander. Kristen tried to explain herself, but Sarah wasn’t willing to believe it. Sarah thought she might hurt someone. She called Brady to tell him what happened. Kristen hit her in the head and knocked her out.

Ciara wondered how she was going to warn Ben about Evan. Shawn and Ben talked about catching Evan. Claire begged Evan not to hurt her. He decided to kill Claire. She realized that he couldn’t kill Ciara so he would kill Ben. Claire realized Evan had Ciara. Ben told Shawn that he was able hear Ciara calling out to him. Kristen apologized to Chloe for blaming her for Brady’s shooting. Chloe forgave her so Kristen hugged her. Kristen spotted a letter opener on the table. She thought about stabbing Chloe, but she didn’t do it. Kristen tied to fish for info from Chloe about Brady. Claire realized that Ciara was behind a glass wall. Evan planned on killing Ben. She thought he was going to kill her too. She wanted to know what he wanted because she would get money from Victor. He said his father wanted money, but he had a different reason. He wanted to get revenge because Ciara was the reason he lost everything. Ciara prayed that Ben would be okay. She tried to get the pipe loose and finally did it. Kristen tried to get Chloe to admit that she was interested in Brady. She wanted Chloe to badmouth Kristen, but she wouldn’t do it. She only told her they were friends. She said there was nothing going on between them. Kristen wondered if she turned Philip down because she was into Brady. Chloe admitted she and Brady were good together at one time. She thought there might be a chance for them. Kristen picked up the letter opener.

Claire told Evan that Ciara hated her. She told him how she tried to set her on fire. He didn’t believe her so he kept the gun pointed at her. She told her to ask anyone. She said Ciara would throw a party if he killed her. Shawn and Ben burst in the room and demanded Evan drop the gun. He grabbed Claire and used her as a shield. Shawn warned him the cops would be there. Evan didn’t believe him. He said he could kill all of Ciara’s loved ones. Ciara pulled the pipe and used it to break the door. She couldn’t break the glass. She realized it was a gas pipe so she kept trying to break the glass. Ciara started to get weak from the glass. Evan demanded Shawn toss him the gun. He wanted to know which one he should killl first. Chloe told Kristen that Brady didn’t return any feelings for her. Kristen put the letter opener down. Brady wanted Chloe to go out with her to eat. Chloe told Kristen that Brady and Rachel would be better off without her. Kristen asked her if she was fine being the other woman. She didn’t see herself as the other woman. Ben and Shawn begged Evan not to kill Claire. Shawn lunged towards Evan and they fought over the gun. There was a gunshot and Ciara thought it was Ben. Ciara wasn’t sure if she heard a gunshot or not. She was worried that Ben was shot. Shawn was shot in the struggle. Ben got the gun and demanded that Evan take him to Ciara. Claire thought he was going to lie. Ben thought he wasn’t going to lie to him. Kristen was determined to make Chloe pay for going after Brady.

Claire told Julie about her and Ben’s theory that Ciara was alive. Claire told her about the dream that Ben had about Ciara being alive. Julie wanted to tell the police. Claire said they couldn’t because Rhodes disappeared. She said she and Ben were going to bring Ciara home. Evan went to see Ben and was upset that he wasn’t there. Ben took Orpheus’ phone and showed it to Shawn. Ben told him that Evan had Ciara. Shawn didn’t was shocked. Ben said the only way to find her was through the phone. Paulina gave Abe a hard time about Salem not having black owned businesses. Claire told Julie that she couldn’t tell Doug because they didn’t have proof. Julie agreed not to tell Doug. Claire wanted to wait until they had good news. Shawn told Ben that the songs were made in Brookeville. Ben wondered if Ciara could have been there the whole time. Shawn said Evan didn’t even have to be at the location. Ben said his father told him that Evan was on to him so they might not have long. Evan said Ben had to come home eventually. Gabi told Roman that she was dumped. He said he didn’t know she was seeing someone. She said Jake told her that he wanted to be with Kate. When she was insulting Kate, Roman defended her. Shawn was upset with Ben for ruining their chance at finding Ciara when Shawn made him get off the phone with Clyde. Claire went to Ben’s apartment. She saw Evan there and was surprised. Roman told Gabi that Kate could do better than Jake. Gabi said Jake could do better than Kate. Gabi said she could do better than Jake. Claire wanted to know who Evan was. When he was about to leave, she said she knew who he was. Shawn told Ben that Evan was in Salem. Claire told Evan that he was the guy at the gym. Evan said she realized who he was. She was going to leave, but he told her to tell him who she was. Shawn told Ben where the call came from. Ben said that was where he lived. Evan wanted Claire to tell him who she was. Anna tried to stop Chad from going in the wine cellar. She offered to go and get a bottle of wine. He wanted to do it himself. She yelled at him not to go down there. Gabi stopped Abby from stabbing her with the needle. Abby wanted her to move out of her way. Gabi said she wasn’t going back to prison because she lost her marbles. She said she was done. Kate and Jake argued over Gabi. Gabi tried to stop Abby from stabbing Gwen. Abby told Gabi that she wasn’t going to help her get Jake back. Gabi told Abby to get out of there. Abby ended up leaving. Gwen thanked her from saving her from that lunatic. Gabi said not to thank her just yet. Jake told Kate that he didn’t have a relationship with Gabi. Kate said he was using her to convince himself that he didn’t have feelings for Gabi. Gabi told Gwen that she wasn’t going to let her go because she would go to the police. Gabi said she was okay for letting her stay in the cellar. Gwen told her leaving her there was still murder. Gabi said it wasn’t if no one knew she was there. Gwen said Anna or somebody else might come down there. Gwen told Gabi that she wouldn’t tell the police about her involvement in the kidnapping if she let her go. She said Abby was their enemy. Gabi was convinced to let her go. Chad saw Abby coming out of the tunnel. He wanted to know why she was down there. Before she could answer, Gwen came out and said Abby tried to kidnap her.

Gabi went to see Jake. She told him that she stopped a murder. Abby told Chad not to listen to Gwen. Gwen told Chad that Abby locked her in the basement to get her to confess to murdering Laura. She said Abby threatened to stab her with a needle. Chad asked if it was true. Abby tried to go after her, but he stopped her. Abby said she couldn’t believe Gabi let her out. Gwen said she was going to the police. She said she was going to tell them she did it all. Jake asked Gabi if she was there for a pat on the back. She said she had to tell someone. She said Sami was acting guilty. Rafe told Ava that Sami was arrested for killing Charlie. Ava asked if she believed her. Rafe told her he would make sure justice was done. She said she believed justice was done. Lucas called Shawn and found out Sami was arrested for murder. He told Allie about it and she blamed herself for Sami getting arrested. Abby didn’t want to worry about that right now. Gabi wanted to make her pay for framing her. Abby agreed and told her to answer Gabi first. Sami told Belle that she could explain the gunshot residue. Rafe asked if she thought she could wash the evidence off her hands. He told her to confess to killing Charlie. Ava thanked Allie for letting her see Henry. Ava apologized to her for what Charlie did. Rafe told Sami that she was going to be arraigned soon. He said he wanted to help her, but now he couldn’t. Belle told her that she quit. She said she was on her own.

Gwen woke up and realized she was tied up. She got scared because she didn’t know where she was. She did remember making a deal with Gabi. Abby was ready to check on Gwen when Chad showed up. He let her know he made an appointment with a marriage counselor. He told her they had to meet the counselor in an hour. She let him know she couldn’t make it. She had to cancel. He didn’t understand what could be more important than them working on their marriage. She told him that he should have thought about their marriage when he believed Gwen’s lies over her. He thought about what she said and decided to reschedule the session. He walked out of the room so Abby went to check on Gwen. Gwen thought Gabi was going to be the one to see her, but it ended up being Abby. Gwen put two and two together and realized they were working together. Abby let her know where she was and how she’s back in the mansion with Chad. She also told her how he wants to be with her. Abby was willing to let Gwen go if she admitted to what she did to her grandmother. Abby recorded their conversation. Gwen decided to rub it in how she slept with Chad. Gwen told her how she was a better mother to her children than she was. She let Abby know that she didn’t kill Laura. Abby let her know she wouldn’t get room service there. Gwen said she was fine with not eating much. She said it would be hard for her because she planned on screaming. Abby was happy to let her know the walls were soundproof. No one would hear her scream. Abby believed Gwen would get tired of living like that and sign the confession.

Chad returned and noticed that Abby was missing. Anna walked in the room and they talked about his marriage. Anna believed they would work things out. Chad was afraid they wouldn’t. She offered for him to have lunch with Tony and her. He didn’t want to feel like the odd man out. He wanted to take the kids out. She assured him things would go back to normal. He was afraid she was just too consumed with Gwen. Anna wasn’t surprised by that. She advised him to give Abby time to get over what happened. She decided to go to the cellar to get some wine for Tony. She went to the basement and Gwen started screaming. Anna checked on the noise and was shocked to see Gwen. Philip met with Gabi at the town square and let her know the bad news about Gabi Chic. He told her there was an order to stop construction on the company. Jake and Kate arrived and they told her how they were responsible. They announced they were working together. Jake rubbed in the mistakes Gabi made in her face. Philip wanted to talk to Kate alone. He wanted answers from his mother. She told him how she was working with Jake. Philip told her how she was giving Gabi what she wanted. He told her how Gabi would be focused on getting her company back and going after Jake. Kate wasn’t worried about Gabi going after Jake. He warned her how Jake and Gabi will be going after each other. She reminded him how much she hated Jake. Philip reminded her that enemies become great lovers. He didn’t want to see her get hurt and advised her to buy another place. Gabi was upset with Jake for going through with buying out her company with Kate. She teased him about Mommy Dearest helping him. She told him Kate would eventually take the company and get rid of him. She warned him that she can be just as ruthless as Kate and never stops until she gets what she wants. Abby showed up and stopped them because she wanted to talk to Gabi. Abby wanted Gabi to take her to Dr. Rolf so she could get the drug that would make Gwen talk. Gabi warned her that it’s not like going to a pharmacy and ordering what you want. Gabi asked her if she even knew which drugs she needed. Abby said she did because it was on her toxicology report. Chad ran into them and was shocked to see them together.

Rafe wanted Sami to tell him if she killed Charlie. She said they had that conversation already. He reminded her that he found her in Charlie’s apartment with him dead on the floor. She wouldn’t answer him. He left to check on the forensics report. She called Belle and asked for her help. Belle wanted to know why she should help her. Sami said lives were at stake. Sarah told John and Marlena that there were no signs to explain why he passed out. She wanted to know if something happened to cause it. Marlena started to tell her, but John cut her off. Sarah said she wanted him to stay at the hospital a little longer. Ben sent Marlena a text saying he needed to see her. Evan told Ciara that Ben died in a motorcycle accident. Ciara didn’t believe that Ben was dead. Evan said Ben thought she was dead and decided to join her. She wanted him to let him know if she wanted a dagger before he left. Orpheus told Clyde not to sneak up on him. Clyde called him out for calling Evan. Clyde wanted to know if he had something to do with where Ciara was. Belle went to see Sami at the police station. Sami was glad she came. Belle wanted to know what was going on. Sami told her she was accused of killing Charlie. Belle was shocked that Charlie was dead. Belle thought she didn’t need her help if she was innocent. Sami said she needed her help. Allie demanded that Rafe let Sami go. He understood how she felt. When he referred to Charlie as the victim, Allie said she, Ava and Claire were the victims. Marlena asked Ben questions about the room he saw. He told her what he saw. She asked what he saw. He said he saw another book. He said Ciara was on the bed. He said she looked sad. He said he needed to find her. Clyde called Evan and lied about who he was. Clyde wanted him to tell him what he was planning to do with Ciara. Rafe told Allie that he loved her and Sami and was going to do whatever he could to help her. Allie wanted to see Sami, but he thought she should let her talk to Belle. Sami asked Belle to help her for her kids. She said she would owe her for the rest of her life. Belle told her not to make her regret it. Rafe came in while they were hugging. Belle told him to release Sami since he didn’t have any evidence against her. He said he did. Jennifer wished she was there for Jack. He hoped Gwen and Abby got along better. Jennifer thought it would happen eventually. Abby went to see Gwen but Gabi opened the door. She let her know their plan worked. Gwen was passed out on the bed. Chad went to Jack’s place to see Abby. Abby and Gabi talked about drugging Gwen. Abby reminded her how she had practice drugging her before. Gabi didn’t think she was being too grateful considering she was willing to help her. Steve and Kayla weren’t happy about seeing Justin with Bonnie. Steve didn’t want to eat with her. Bonnie got the hint and left the table. Abby took Gwen’s glass. Gabi told her they had to move her body before anyone saw them. Abby seemed to have an attitude with Gabi. Gabi told her how she had to do some heavy lifting in their plan. Jack talked to Chad about Gwen suffering and how Abby was upset. Chad defended Abby to him. Jack wanted to think about what was going on with Gwen. Jack told him what happened when he talked to Gwen. Chad wasn’t thrilled with the fact that Jack defended Gwen’s bad life. Jack agreed that Gwen was wrong, but he wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt. Abby and Gabi put Gwen in the laundry basket. They had a little bit of time before Gwen would wake up. Chad understood why Abby went ballistic about Gwen. He couldn’t believe Jack expected Abby to get along with Gwen after everything she’s done. Jack was trying to protect Abby and keep her from going over the edge. Abby and Gabi were trying to get rid of Gwen’s body when Bonnie saw them.

Steve let Justin know he wasn’t going to be friends with Bonnie. He didn’t like what Bonnie did to Adrienne. Bonnie was surprised the DiMeras didn’t have people do laundry for Abby and Gabi. Gabi said it wasn’t laundry. Bonnie asked them if it was a body. Steve apologized to Justin for the way he spoke to him about Bonnie. He didn’t understand how he could be with Bonnie after what she did. Justin said no one in the town is giving her a chance to prove she changed. Abby tried to laugh off Bonnie’s accusations. She and Gabi were trying to make excuses for what they were doing. Gabi said they wanted to say goodnight to their kids. Bonnie reminded her how her daughter was in Phoenix. Jack wanted to know what would happen to his daughter if he turned his back on her. Chad wanted to know what was supposed to happen to Abby because of Gwen. He blamed Gwen for destroying his marriage. He didn’t want him to end up like him. Gabi and Abby lied about having clothes for Gabi Chic. Bonnie didn’t believe them. She knew they weren’t frineds and didn’t seem like they were talking like friends. Abby had to admit that they weren’t friends. They told her they were working together. Kayla tried to reason with Steve about Justin dating Bonnie. She told him how he sacrificed his happiness in Bonnie. She thought it was the least they could do was have dinner with him and Bonnie. Steve apologized to Justin. Abby and Gabi took Gwen to the tunnel in the mansion. Chad saw Abby come out of the passageway.

Gabi went to see Gwen. Gabi said she didn’t blame her for framing her. Gwen was surprised that Gabi didn’t want to get revenge on her. Gabi told her Abby told her the same thing. Sarah ran into Chloe and told her that she and Xander were getting married. Chloe warned her not to marry him. Philip went to see Brady. He said he wanted to get Brady something since he was the reason why Brady was shot. Kristen said it was Chloe’s fault. Chloe told Sarah that she was kidnapped by a drug cartel. She said Xander left her there. She said she killed the guy. She said it could have been avoided if he didn’t leave her there. Sarah apologized to her for what happened. She said Xander changed. She said she has forgiven him for his past. She said they were in love with each other and were happy. Chloe said she wished them the best. She said spending time with Susan was starting to rub off on her. Philip told Kristen that the mob was trying to shoot at him. Kristen said Chloe blamed herself too. Gabi told Gwen that Abby wanted to team up to get revenge on her. Gabi said Abby was the one who framed her and sent her to prison. She said she hated Gwen, but she hated Abby more than she did her. Abby told Jack that it wasn’t his fault that Gwen grew up the way she did. Abby said people without parents grow up to be decent people. Kristen wanted Philip to tell her how Chloe feels about Brady. Philip said Chloe didn’t say it in words. He said he wanted to get back together with Chloe, but she wasn’t interested. When Kristen started to insult Chloe, Philip wanted to know why she cared so much.

Kristen told Philip that she grew to care about Brady and Chloe was moving in on him. Philip said he wasn’t saying Chloe was moving in on Brady. He said he thought Chloe was interested in him. Kristen was happy that it was one sided. Philip said he wasn’t sure. Kristen wanted to know what that meant. Philip said Brady seemed jealous at the idea of him being with Chloe. Kristen said Brady belonged with his baby’s mother. Philip said Kristen was in jail. He said Kristen deserved to stay in jail for shooting his father. He said while Kristen was in jail, Brady might fall for Chloe. Kristen told him to do something about it. Abby told Jack that Gwen was dangerous and her goal was to break up the family. She said they couldn’t let her do that. Jack said he had to make Gwen realize that she didn’t have to lash out. He said she might forgive him. She said there was nothing to forgive. Gabi and Gwen talked about things never being Abby’s fault. Gabi told Gwen that she wanted to bury the hatchet down Abby’s back. Chloe and Sarah talked about Brady. Chloe said she and Brady were friends. She said Brady was involved with Kristen. Sarah said Kristen was in prison and a lot could happen. Abby told Jack that she would never forgive Gwen after what she has done. She said it wasn’t possible for him to be on both of their sides. He wanted to know if she was asking him to choose. She said she was. Gabi tried to convince Gwen to work with her to get back at Abby. Jack told Abby he loved her. She said to protect her and the family. He said he knew that Gwen did terrible things, but he couldn’t turn his back on her. Abby said Gwen killed Laura. He wanted her to see that Gwen was innocent. Abby said Gwen killed her grandmother and she was going to prove it.

Susan kept slipping up while she was talking to Lani. Kristen tried to throw Chloe out when she brought food over for Brady. Gwen went to see Jack to thank him for believing her when she told him what happened with Laura. Gabi wanted to know why Abby wanted to work with her. Abby said Gwen was a b*tch. Gabi wanted to know why she should care about that. Abby said Gwen drugged her and framed Gabi. Gabi said she cared about that, but Abby hated her. Abby said she didn’t hate her as much as she hated Gwen. Gabi said she didn’t know anything about revenge. Abby agreed. Abby reminded her that she would have gone to prison because of Gwen. Gabi wasn’t interested in helping her. Susan slipped up again while Lani was talking to her. Brady showed up while Kristen and Chloe were arguing. He wanted to know why she was upset. Kristen said Chloe was why. Susan tried to convince Lani that Chloe was the one responsible for Brady getting shot. Susan said Chloe was throwing herself at Brady. Lani wanted to know how she knew. Jack told Gwen that he didn’t do anything. She said he stopped her from hiding the body. She thanked him for believing her. Abby tried to convince Gabi to help her, but Gabi wasn’t interested. Abby said Gabi would be able to help her get Gwen without losing control. Gabi wanted to know why she would do that. Abby said she wanted to get back at Gwen because of Jake. Gabi wasn’t interested. Gwen said she shouldn’t have come to see him. He said he cared about her, but he was on to her. She said Abby thought she killed Laura. She asked if she really believed her or if he was setting her up. Kristen wanted Brady to eat the breakfast she made for him. When Chloe was about to leave, he told her not to go. He wanted her to eat the muffins with him. Susan told Lani that Chloe was throwing herself at Brady. Lani told her she knew what was going on. Brady and Chloe wanted to know what was going on with Kristen when she kept getting upset with Chloe. Lani told Kristen that everything she was going through was too much for her. She told Kristen to tell her how scared and lonely she was. Kristen blamed Chloe for Brady getting shot. He wanted to know why she cared so much about him. She said she was concerned about what it would do to John and Marlena. Jack told Gwen that he was a journalist and that it helped him see when people were lying to him. She said she wasn’t used to people believing her or standing up for her. Gabi tried to convince Abby that she could go after Kate when Abby wasn’t sure she would be able to. Abby said Jake was a nice person. Gabi was offended by that remark and told her she wouldn’t help her. Abby agreed to break up Kate and Jake. Abby said she would do it if Gabi swear to help her make Gwen pay.

Susan called Kristen to let her know she lied to her. She knew that Kristen had another agenda to keep her in prison. Kristen wanted her to hang on a little longer. Kristen tried everything she could to to get her to stay in prison for her. Allie talked to Nicole about Claire recording Charlie’s confession. She told her how Charlie found out about it and tried to hurt Claire. She didn’t want him to do anything to hurt her. She wanted to stop him. Nicole wanted to know what happened. She told her how she wanted to get him out of her life for good. She decided not to focus on the negative things and be happy. She considered Charlie dead to her. Rafe questioned Sami about being at Charlie’s place. She was vague about what she was doing there. He asked her when she arrived back in town. She gave him a few details. She didn’t seem too worried about Charlie being dead. She felt like he got what deserved by being dead. He wanted her to answer his questions or he would have her do it at the station. She kept quiet so he called the murder in to the police. Kristen was relieved that Susan would stay in prison when Ben and Claire arrived at the townhouse. They needed her help to find Ciara. Kristen didn’t know how to help them. They told her how she could help like she did before. They told her about the book and about Ben’s dream. Kristen had to play it off as if she lost the feeling she had. She didn’t give them any useful information so they ended up leaving.

Tripp went to see Ava at Rafe’s house. She let him know that Charlie threatened to kill him. Tripp wasn’t worried about him now. She told him how Rafe went to check out a gunshot at Charlie’s apartment. Eli showed up at Rafe’s place to tell Ava about Charlie being dead. She thought he committed suicide. Eli informed them that the police were talking to a person of interest, but there weren’t any arrests made. He asked them about their whereabouts for the night before. They told them their stories. Eli seemed satisfied with their answers for the time being and left. Ava told Tripp she was glad Charlie was dead. Rafe took Sami to the station for more questioning. He wanted to know why Sami was in town. She told him how she talked to Lucas about the fact Charlie wasn’t getting charged with Allie’s rape. She couldn’t believe Charlie said their sex was consensual. She said he got what he had coming. She asked Rafe if he thought she did it. He admitted he thought she was guilty. He told her how she would have been screaming more if she were being framed. He noticed how she wasn’t saying much. He wanted to help her out, but she had to talk to him. Sami told him that she wanted to talk to a lawyer. Eli went to see Claire to let her know that the restraining order was done and that Charlie was dead. Claire thought about what Allie said about Charlie. Eli wanted to know what she was thinking. She lied and said she was trying to process what he told her. Rafe went to Nicole’s place to talk to her and Allie. He told them what happened to Charlie. He let them know he had someone in custody. He said the person was Allie. Sami sat at the station and thought about what happened in Charlie’s apartment. She thought about standing over him with a gun in her hand. She told him how he got what he deserved.

Ciara told Evan that Ben was looking for her and was going to find her. Evan said Ben thought she was dead. She said he didn’t. She said she called Ben. Evan said she didn’t have a phone. She said Rhodes did and she called Ben. Evan said Ben didn’t know where she was. He wanted to know what Ben said. She said there was a bad connection. She said he heard her voice and he was looking for her. Marlena told John she was worried when he left. She said she thought he had another episode. She was ready to call the police. She said he came back as if nothing happened. She said they were going to talk about what happened. Ava told Rafe that she got up early to get food. She asked where he thought she was. He said he thought she went to see Charlie. He said he thought she might have taken matters into her own hands. Ava told Rafe that she felt responsible for Charlie’s behavior. Rafe wanted to know why. She said he grew up without love. She said she loved Tripp. She said Tripp was taken from her. She said her father replaced him with another man. She said her father thought everything was better because she had a new man and a baby. She said losing Tripp and Steve was hard. She said she didn’t feel anything when Charlie was born. She asked what kind of a mother didn’t love her own child. John apologized to Marlena for walking out the way he did. She wanted to know what was wrong with him. Orpheus said he was blackmailing Victor. He said he needed proof that Ciara was alive in order to get Victor to get him out of there. Evan didn’t know about texting the pictures. Orpheus told him he couldn’t go to the prison and bring them to him. Evan said he had a choice. Ben told Claire that he went to see Vincent and found out he was dead. He said he and Shawn went to Rhodes’ apartment. He wondered if Shawn told her everything. She said there was a lot going on. John told Marlena that he didn’t remember what happened. He said he had a pain in his head and blacked out. She asked how long he was blacked out. He said he didn’t know. Orpheus told Evan that they were a team. He said they were in it together. Evan wanted to know what he got out of it. Orpheus said he and Evan could go anywhere they wanted once he got out of prison. Evan said he didn’t change him mind about being around him. He said Orpheus gave him orders. He said he wanted to make Ciara pay for what she did. He said he was the one in charge. Orpheus said he couldn’t have him challenge him. Evan wanted to know what he was going to do about it. When Orpheus was about to tell him, Evan hung up. Claire told Ben what happened with the recording. Ben said she had the confession. She said Charlie erased it. Ben thought he was in jail, but she said he wasn’t arrested. She said she didn’t have to worry about Charlie. John said he felt better now. Marlena wanted to get him checked out. Rafe told Ava that it was understandable why she felt the way she did about Charlie after what her father did. She said Charlie wasn’t Tripp and his father wasn’t the man she loved. She said she could barely look at Charlie. She said her father had Charlie’s father raise him. She said she was cold to Charlie. She said Charlie blamed himself for why she acted the way she did. She said he tried to get him to love her, but she wouldn’t do it. Clyde told Orpheus that he heard his conversation. Clyde asked if he was talking to his son. He asked if his son refused to listen to his father. Orpheus asked what was it to him. Clyde asked if it had to do with Ciara. Ciara asked Evan if he was trying to ransom her. She said he should do it because he would be rich. He said some things are more important than money. Claire told Ben that they could find Ciara. She said they could go to Susan. She said if Susan touched the box, she might be able to tell them where Ciara was. Rafe told Ava that it was possible that he could change. She didn’t think he would. While they were talking, Rafe got a call about someone hearing a gunshot at Charlie’s apartment. She thought Charlie might have killed himself. Orpheus told Clyde to mind his own business. Clyde said it was his business. He said he was going to get to the bottom of if. Ciara told Evan to shoot her and get it over with. Rafe went to Charlie’s apartment and found him dead on the floor. When Rafe was about to call for help, Sami showed up.
