John told Marlena that he was going to confront Konstantin. He said he was going to Greece to turn himself into the authorities. EJ showed up at the police station to see Stefan. He wanted to know what game Stefan was playing. Stefan said he was playing for their freedom. Nicole showed up at Eric and Sloan’s apartment to go over the christening. While they were talking, Sloan told Nicole that she didn’t want her involved in the christening. Nicole said she didn’t realize. Sloan told Nicole that she didn’t think she would forgive her for kidnapping her son. Marlena told John that they didn’t know the consequences of the criminal system in another country. John said he deserved to be punished. Marlena told him he would be leaving his family. John said he was a murderer who deserved to be punished for what he did. Marlena said he wasn’t thinking rationally. John asked her to put herself in his shoes. She said she did terrible things. He said he wasn’t the same thing. Marlena wanted him to wait, but he said he waited long enough. When he left, she called Steve. Steve wanted to know what was happening. She said she needed his help. When Harris called Ava, he told her Stefan turned himself in. He said he couldn’t talk about what was happening at the police station. Harris wanted her to meet him somewhere so they could talk. EJ talked to Stefan about Harris wanting him to plead to lesser charges. Stefan said Harris had another agenda. EJ said no intention of making a deal with him. Stefan told him that he might change his mind about that. He played a recording of EJ offering to help him skip town. Stefan asked if EJ was going to play ball or was he going to play the recording for Harris. Nicole told Sloan that she wouldn’t host the reception if she didn’t want her to. She said she thought it would be nice if they enjoyed something good. Nicole thought Sloan would understand her actions because she was a mother. She said she was out of her mind with grief when she thought Jude was her son. Nicole said Marlena made her see that she kidnapped Jude so she could be closer to the baby she lost. She told Sloan that Holly thought of Eric and Jude as family. Nicole said she loved her husband and was thrilled that Eric had a wife who made him happy. She said she meant that.

John showed up at the Kiriakis mansion to see Konstantin. Maggie wanted to know if he had more accusations about Konstantin. While they were talking, Steve and Marlena showed up. Konstantin also showed up. John apologized to Konstantin for what he did. Harris and Ava met each other at the town square. He told her what happened with EJ and Stefan. Harris said whatever was going on with EJ and Stefan could ruin their plans. EJ realized that Harris wanted to protect Ava by letting Stefan agree to the lesser charge. Stefan reminded EJ that he had to help him. He told EJ that him dropping the charges would make everyone happy. EJ said he couldn’t drop all of the charges, but he could drop enough. He wanted to make sure Stefan didn’t play the recording if he got the charges dropped. Stefan wanted his shares back. EJ said that wasn’t part of the deal. Stefan said the plan didn’t work because he was still in Salem. He offered to play a chess game with EJ. EJ refused to play his game. Nicole told Sloan that she felt lucky after losing her son. Sloan said she was glad to hear it. When Jude started crying, Nicole offered to help him stop crying. Maggie asked if John was apologizing for the way he treated Konstantin. John said that was part of the reason. He said he was the man who killed Konstantin’s daughter. Ava was concerned that EJ wouldn’t play along with the deal. She said Harris would be in trouble if Stefan and EJ didn’t play along. Harris said he couldn’t lose her. EJ said he had nothing to lose by playing games with Stefan. Stefan said EJ was afraid to lose. He wanted to settle their situation by playing chess. Stefan said he would play the recording in court. EJ agreed to take another look at the deal if he lost the game. Eric showed up while Nicole and Sloan were talking. He said he ran into Holly and asked if she remembered anything else about what happened. Nicole said she didn’t. She said Holly wouldn’t lie about what was going on. Maggie wondered why John confessed to killing Konstantin’s daughter when no one was there. John said he was the only one in the room. Steve said he didn’t know he did it. Konstantin said he knew in his heart that John killed his daughter. Ava told Harris that she slept with Stefan one time. She didn’t think Stefan would screw her over. Ava was worried about EJ screwing them over. Stefan beat EJ at chess. When Konstantin blamed John for what he did, Marlena tried to defend him. John said he didn’t know who he was. He wanted to turn himself in to the authorities. EJ told Stefan that his win didn’t matter since he signed the document. He said the best he could do for Stefan is get him time served. Stefan agreed to the deal. EJ and Stefan told Harris that the deal was done. Harris officially arrested Stefan. Steve told John not to confess. John said Steve needed to let him do what he had to do. He said Konstantin was never going to forgive him. Konstantin said he did forgive him.

Jada talked to Harris about not getting the rest he needed. Harris didn’t appreciate her doing that. She told him that she wanted to make sure he was okay. Steve brought Abe’s things back to his apartment. He ran into Johnny. Steve and Johnny talked about Paulina’s miraculous recovery. Kayla, Chanel and Abe were with Paulina at the hospital. Paulina didn’t want to leave in a wheelchair. Kayla reminded her that it’s policy. Paulina understood and was ready to get out of the hospital. Abe wheeled Paulina out and they were approached by reporters. Jada knew Harris wasn’t home. He tried to downplay what he was doing. She knew he wasn’t alone. Jada figured out he was at Ava’s place. Harris admitted it and said he didn’t think it was a good idea to be alone. He wondered if she had a problem with it. Jada had a problem with her and him. Stefan talked to Chad about what happened between him and Abby. He didn’t know if he apologized to him for the situation. Stefan felt Chad and Abby didn’t deserve what happened. Chad wanted to finish their conversation another time because Stefan was drunk. Stefan wanted to discuss it because he wanted to face the music.

Jada continued to talk to Harris about being around Ava. Harris thought she was being a hypocrite. She reminded him that she arrested her sister. Jada warned him not to destroy his career. She believed he should stop protecting her. Leo interviewed Paulina. He gushed over her until she got tired of hearing it. Leo made at speech about Paulina’s party. He called a hero. Abe agreed and thought she was the shining light. Chad looked at a picture of Abby. He said he missed her. Chad read that Clyde escaped from prison. He tried to get Clyde out of his brain. Jada wanted Harris to think about what she said. He wanted to get back to work. Stefan showed up at the station. He wanted to turn himself in for drug trafficking and money laundering. Jada told him that Ava was forced to do it too. Stefan told him that he worked alone. He was the only one involved with the illegal stuff. Stefan wanted them to call EJ so he could make a deal.

While EJ and Nicole were kissing, Holly came in the room. Holly asked why he had to have Tate arrested. Eric and Theresa ran into each other at the town square. She told him about Tate breaking into the DiMera mansion. Theresa said Tate couldn’t go near Holly. Eric told her Tate was a good kid. He said Tate would come out of the situation stronger and wiser. Eric gave her advice about Tate before he left. She thought about Tate not knowing what to do about Holly. Maggie and Konstantin bonded over Victoria. Sarah told Xander that it felt nice spending time together. Xander said it would have been better if they had Victoria with them. Sarah suggested they go get the baby. Konstantin talked about his daughter. He wondered if she would have been a mother one day. While they were talking, Xander and Sarah showed up. Xander took Victoria from him. Konstantin left to do errands. When he left, Maggie said it was a surprise. Xander agreed that it was.

EJ told Holly that he dropped the charges against Brady. He said Tate had to stay away from Holly and wear an ankle monitor. Holly was upset about what happened. She said it wasn’t fair. When she said if they only knew, Nicole wanted to know what she was going. Holly said it wasn’t fair that she couldn’t see her friend. Xander told Maggie that he thought Victoria would just be with her. Maggie said that wasn’t fair because Konstantin lost his daughter. She told them how Konstantin lost his daughter and had a wonderful way with kids. Nicole told Holly that Tate broke in their home. Holly said she heard her. She said they thought Tate was a delinquent just because he broke in the house. Holly decided to go for a walk. Nicole didn’t want her going out by herself. Holly said she wanted to be alone. EJ told her not to contact Tate because it would make things worse. Holly said she wouldn’t. Konstantin sat at Theresa’s table at the town square. He asked her how the plans for stealing Alex’s fortune were going. Theresa told him that it wasn’t a good time. She told him Alex didn’t propose to her, so she moved out. Konstantin asked if she changed his mind. Theresa said she hadn’t seen Alex since she left the apartment. Konstantin warned her to make things right with Alex. EJ asked Nicole if he was alone with his concern over Holly’s friendship. He said it was tragic what happened to her. Nicole never answered the question. Nicole said she has gone through a lot. Eric and Holly ran into each other. Holly told him she wished she could take back what happened on New Year’s. Eric thought about his conversation with Brady about Tate. Holly told Eric that Tate was being accused of drugging her. Eric said EJ and Nicole were trying to keep her safe. Holly said Tate didn’t do anything to her. She thought about Tate warning her about the drugs she was taking. EJ suggested to Nicole that they cancel the christening. Nicole wanted to have the christening. Konstantin told Theresa that she conned Alex before and could do it again. He asked if she wanted to be rich. Theresa said Maggie wouldn’t want to be with him. Konstantin said he was getting closer with Maggie. When Maggie left, Sarah asked if he believed Konstantin. Xander said he didn’t. Holly told Eric that Tate was a good friend who she didn’t want to go to jail. EJ was upset when he tried reaching out to Stefan but got the voicemail.

Stefan showed up at Ava’s apartment. He said he had to talk to her. Harris came out and said Stefan shot him. Ava asked if it was true. Stefan said Clyde didn’t give him a choice. She slapped him. He said he didn’t have a choice. Harris said he and Ava had a choice. He said he begged her to come clean with him. She said she came clean with him. Harris said if she told him the truth, Tripp and Wendy might not have been kidnapped. Sarah went to the police station and told Xander he was free. Xander told her Harris woke up and didn’t identify him as the shooter. Paulina, Chanel, Abe, and Johnny talked about Eli and Lani showing up with the twins. While they were talking, Paulina told Johnny and Chanel about celebrating their marriage. When Johnny and Chanel left, Abe and Paulina were excited about living together again. Kate and Roman showed up to visit Paulina. Xander and Sarah went to the apartment to celebrate his release. Ava told Stefan that they should have been honest with Harris. Stefan said Tripp and Wendy were safe. Harris told Stefan that he was disgusting for being okay with only shooting him. Stefan attempted to tell Harris about sleeping with Ava. Kate asked Paulina if she was diagnosed. Paulina said she flatlined. Roman asked if the doctors brought her back to life. Paulina said it wasn’t the doctors. She said she saw a bright light when she flatlined. Paulina said she was healed.

Ava wanted to know what Stefan was doing. Stefan said they shouldn’t keep any secrets. Ava told Harris that she was pretending to be a couple with Stefan. While she was talking, Harris interrupted to tell her he didn’t care. Stefan said he was taking Ava down with him. Harris told Stefan to take the fall for the crimes so Ava could get off. Ava asked why he should do that. Harris said he would face a lesser sentence doing that than admitting to shooting a cop. Xander was still concerned about being charged with attempted murder. He said he couldn’t handle being away from Sarah and Victoria. Paulina talked to Kate about being insecure about living with Abe again. Kate told he she didn’t think she was Roman’s type. Harris asked Stefan why he framed Xander. Stefan said he was easy to frame because of his past. Harris said he was letting Stefan off easy. He told Stefan to take the deal before he changed his mind. Stefan said Ava was deep in the mess. Harris told him to take the deal by tomorrow or else. Stefan left Ava’s apartment. Abe talked to Roman about seeing Lexie. He said seeing Lexie made his memory come back. Roman was shocked. He thanked Lexie for giving Abe his memory back and Paulina her life back. Abe told Roman that he felt as if he was being disloyal to Paulina even though Lexie was gone. Roman told him not to let his memories overshadow what he has now. Sarah told Xander not to worry because everything was going to work out. Xander didn’t think he would be able to get away from his past. He said he thought she and Victoria were better off without him. Sarah said she wanted him in her, and Victoria’s lives because he was important. She said she loved him.

John confronted Steve about knowing the truth about Katarina. He didn’t understand why he didn’t tell him what happened. EJ told Stefan that he wasn’t any use to Harris. He also told Stefan that Harris said he was the one who shot him. Stefan wanted to make sure EJ would still help him. EJ assured him that he would help him. Eric informed Sloan that Jude’s christening would be at the DiMera mansion instead of the pub. She didn’t want to do that because of Nicole, but he felt like she needed it. John couldn’t believe that Konstantin was the one who told him the truth. Marlena let him know that Steve was afraid to tell him the truth. Steve told him it might not be the truth. John said that he killed someone’s daughter. Harris asked Ava when she spoke to Stefan. She thought it was a few days ago. He wanted to talk to him about Clyde, but he couldn’t find him. EJ took care of Stefan’s info so he could leave Salem. He didn’t think it would happen so fast. EJ reminded him that he didn’t help Clyde or Harris. He informed him that he didn’t have too many options left. Stefan didn’t like EJ sending him to a war zone. Ava asked Harris if Stefan had something to do with Clyde’s escape. Harris thought he did it because he loved Gabi. Stefan didn’t speak the languages of the countries EJ was sending him. EJ was willing not to help him.

Eric met with Brady and asked him to be the godfather to his son. He said he couldn’t do it. John decided to turn himself into the police for what he did. Stefan wanted to say goodbye to Gabi, but EJ didn’t think it was a good idea. He wanted EJ to say goodbye for him, but he refused to do it. EJ wanted Stefan to ride in the trunk. Brady didn’t think he was a good father which was why he turned down Eric’s offer. Eric tried to make him feel better. John wanted to turn himself in, but Marlena and Steve talked him out of it. He thought he was a good guy. Marlena assured him that he was a good guy. John tried to justify what he did to people, but he couldn’t do it anymore. Stefan demanded to know why EJ wanted a government job when he had the DiMera empire. EJ told him that he better be grateful for his help after what he did to Holly. Eric continued to convince Brady to be Jude’s godfather. Brady finally agreed to do it. Marlena tried to convince John that he wasn’t a bad person. He let her know that he helped Clyde break out of jail. John apologized for letting Clyde escape prison. He wanted to go to Konstantin to make things right. Steve reminded him that he’s trying to rip off Maggie. Brady talked to Eric about Holly lying about how she got the drugs. He was afraid that Tate’s life would be over if Holly didn’t tell the truth. EJ warned Stefan that Harris would be back to question the staff about him. Marlena didn’t want John to go to the police. Stefan went to Ava’s place and ran into Harris. Harris said he wasn’t going anywhere.

Theresa and Brady confronted Tate about escaping the halfway house. Tate said he was going out of his mind with worry. Nicole and EJ checked on Holly. EJ told her they wanted to talk about what happened. Holly said Tate didn’t break in. EJ said they were concerned with her safety. Holy said he couldn’t send Tate to jail. Marlena wanted to know what Steve had to say about John. Steve said it was about his past as the pawn. John wanted to know what Konstantin did to him. Konstantin said John ruined his life. He showed John a picture of his daughter. John didn’t know who was in the picture. Konstantin said he found it hard to believe that he didn’t know who the person in the picture was when he killed her. Harris and Jada talked about Goldman. Jada told him Goldman left town. Harris couldn’t believe Clyde got out of jail. He said he thought Clyde was going to stay local. Jada said besides Goldman, they didn’t know who was working with him. EJ told Holly that Tate had to pay for breaking the law. Nicole told him to calm down and reminded him that Tate was a teenager. While Nicole and EJ were talking, Holly said Tate didn’t do anything. Holly asked EJ not to send Tate to jail. EJ said he would consider the options, but he wasn’t making any promises. Marlena wanted to know about John’s past. Steve told her about the things he and John did for Victor. Konstantin told John that Victor’s pawn killed his daughter. Tate asked Brady and Theresa what they would do if they were stuck in the rehab center. He said he wanted EJ to drop the charges against him. Theresa said he was doing well. Holly told Nicole to convince EJ not to press charges against Tate. Nicole said she would talk to him. Holly said she wanted EJ to stay out of it. Nicole said it was his house Tate broke into. Holly said it was their house too. Nicole said she was talk to him. While Holly was praising Tate, Nicole wondered if she was lying about Tate to get EJ off her back. She asked if Holly remembered more about the night than she’s telling her. Steve told Marlena that Victor gave them a message to go after his enemy. He told her they went to a village to find Konstantin. Holly told Nicole that she didn’t know what happened on New Year’s Eve, but Tate didn’t drug her. Nicole said she would talk to EJ.

Tate told Brady and Theresa that he was screw up. Theresa and Brady tried to tell him that he wasn’t. Tate said his biggest mistake was not calling for help sooner. He called himself a loser for messing up. Harris grilled EJ about where Stefan was. EJ said he didn’t know where Stefan was. While they were talking, Harris told EJ that he knew he was working with Clyde. When EJ wanted to know how he knew, Harris told him Stefan shot him. Marlena told Steve that she thought Victor and Konstantin were friends. Steve said they were more like rivals. He told her about John killing Konstantin’s daughter. Konstantin gave John details about him killing his daughter. Harris told EJ that he thought he was involved with Stefan’s situation. Holly went to the police station. She told Jada that she wanted to talk to Tate. Jada said she couldn’t see him because he broke in her house and his parents were with him. Malena asked Steve if John killed the girl. Steve said John was a pawn at the time and didn’t know what he was doing. Marlena asked if he thought John meant to kill the girl. Steve said John was going through a lot. He said John might have snapped. Konstantin told John that he held his daughter’s lifeless body in his hands. He said he told her about the memories they made. He said she as the only thing in this world that mattered to him. She was his reason for breathing. He said he had another reason for breathing. Konstantin said he would make is daughter’s killed pay after all these years. Steve told Marlena that he thought the mess was behind them. He said he thought they had to protect Maggie from him, but it was them that needed protecting. Marlena asked how Konstantin knew it was John. Steve said from his eyes. While they were talking, she asked how he was able to keep the secret so long. He said it was hard. Steve said he protected himself and his family. John couldn’t believe he killed anyone. Konstantin asked if he remembered. John said he didn’t remember. Konstantin said he should have killed him instead because he was going to make him pay for what he did. Harris wanted EJ to tell him where Stefan was. EJ said he didn’t know where he was. While they were talking, EJ said Xander shot him. Harris said he was the eyewitness and knew Stefan shot him. While Holly was yelling at Jada, Nicole showed up. When Nicole and Holly left the station, Holly saw Tate. Harris warned EJ that he was going to take down everyone involved in the shooting. Jada went to see Tate, Brady, and Theresa. She told them EJ decided to drop the charges, but Tate had to stay 100 feet from Holly. John showed up while Steve and Marlena were talking. He was upset that Steve never told him the truth, but he told his wife.

Julie talked to Eli about what happened to the house. They discussed Paulina’s condition. Julie tried to talk Eli into staying in Salem. He apologized, but he couldn’t stay. Konstantin talked to Maggie about missing his daughter more as time went on. Marlena asked John how he was sleeping. He wasn’t sleeping well. Marlena recapped everything he did to help Tripp and Wendy. Steve read a story about what Clyde did to Tripp and Wendy. Harris asked Ava if there was news on Tripp and Wendy. She told him they were okay. Ava talked to him about Goldman. He wondered if Stefan had anything to do with what happened. She didn’t think he did. Eli told Julie that he got a promotion that requires him to do more traveling. Konstantin said that Maggie was a special woman. Maggie liked being special in his eyes. She wanted to be honest with him. Maggie felt guilty being close to another man. He felt Victor would want her to get close to someone else. Steve called Ava so they could meet in person. He wanted her to meet him in an hour. She agreed to meet him. Steve and John talked to Ava about what happened with Clyde. She told them that Goldman was Clyde’s girlfriend. John blamed her for the mess they were in. She reminded him that Clyde was going to get out. John was upset with for what she did.

Eli said goodbye to Julie and Maggie. He promised to keep in touch with everyone. Eric admitted to Marlena that Sloan seems like she’s jealous of Jude. He told her that he enjoyed being around him. Harris tried to call Stefan. He warned him that he would go after him if he didn’t call him. John called Konstantin and wanted to meet with him. Ava informed Steve that John seems like he checks out at times. He didn’t want to talk about John with her. Ava thanked him for bringing their son back. They didn’t agree with the way things went down. Maggie admitted to Julie that she thought about Konstantin. She felt guilty about it. Julie informed her that she had a right to be happy. She said Victor would want her to be happy and loved. Steve visited Marlena to tell her about John. John told Konstantin that his life hasn’t been the same since they met. He wanted to know what he did to him. Konstantin said he got it wrong. Konstantin said John was the one who did something to him.

Chanel and Johnny showed up at the hospital. They asked Abe what happened. Abe told them he might have dreamed what happened. When Eli and Lani went to see Paulina, she wasn’t in the bed. Lani panicked when she saw the bed. Abe, Chanel and Johnny came in the room. Lani asked where Paulina was. Abe said she was getting tests to see how she felt. Sarah brought Paulina back to her room. Chanel asked Sarah about Paulina’s recovery. Sarah said it was a miracle. Tripp apologized to Wendy about what happened. He said if she went to China that wouldn’t have happened. Tripp let her know Ava wouldn’t hurt her again. Wendy said it wasn’t his responsibility to take care of her. She said she could take care of herself. While they were talking, she wondered if she hallucinated things. Steve credited Kayla for saving Tripp and Wendy. He said she taught him CPR and ASL which was how they were able to find them. Kayla told him Tripp and Wendy were doing great. Steve told Kayla that Clyde broke out of prison. She wanted to know what else was going on. He told her about the things that were going on. When he brought up Paulina dying of heart failure, Kayla told him Paulina was back to normal. Everyone was happy that Paulina was better. Paulina said there was another important miracle to celebrate. She said Abe had his memory back. They were excited. Abe told Lani that he remembered her and was proud to be her father. Tripp told Wendy that his memory was hazy too. He asked her what she thought happened. Before she could answer, Sarah showed up. Sarah examined Wendy.

Johnny and Chanel ran into Steve and Kayla. They talked about Paulina, Tripp and Wendy. While they were talking, Chanel told them that Abe got his memory back. Steve and Kayla went to see Tripp and Wendy. Tripp told Steve not to be upset with Ava. Steve said Ava being involved with the drug cartel ruined things. While Tripp was telling him about Ava, he slipped and admitted that Ava was working with Clyde. Steve wanted to know why he didn’t tell him sooner about Ava. Eli and Lani talked about a job offer he got. He wasn’t sure if he should take the job because it was in D.C. Tripp told Steve that he didn’t tell him about Ava because he knew he would be upset. Steve said he wasn’t mad at him. He was mad at Ava. Kayla and Steve went to see Paulina and Abe. Paulina thanked Steve and Kayla for letting Abe stay with them while he got his memory back. Abe said they were losing him as their houseguest. Kayla said they were thrilled that Abe and Paulina were back together. Steve suggested they have a celebration. While Eli and Lani were talking to Paulina and Abe, they told Paulina about Eli’s job offer. Steve told Kayla that Clyde’s escape still bothered him. Kayla said Clyde was going to be found and brought to prison. Steve said Clyde better hope the police find him before he did.

Steve, John, and Ava went into the brewery and found Tripp and Wendy. Tate wanted to know why Holly couldn’t tell the truth about the drugs. Holly said she couldn’t hurt her mother because she would never trust her again. Tate asked if she was going to ruin his life so she could keep up appearances. Holly said it wasn’t like that. Tate asked her to help him. Holly asked her not to make her do this. EJ came in Holly’s room and wondered what Tate was doing there. He called the police. Steve and John tried to save Tripp and Wendy. Rafe and Harris showed up while Steve and John were trying to save Tripp and Wendy. Brady ran into Sarah and asked if a person could lose their memory because of a coma. Sarah said it was possible to lose their memory. Brady asked if it was long term or if Holly could get her memory back. Sarah said she understood. She said a coma patient’s memories could come back gradually or not at all. Sarah said she hoped everything worked out for Tate. Holly asked EJ not to call the police because he didn’t do anything wrong. EJ said Tate broke into his home. Holly asked him to listen to why he was there. Tate said the drugs Holly took weren’t his. Nicole came in and wondered what was going on. EJ said Tate climbed in the window. He said he was going to call the police. Holly asked Nicole to stop EJ, but she said she couldn’t. Nicole called Brady and told him about Tate. Brady said he was on his way home. Ava willed Tripp to come back to them. Rafe said Wendy had a pulse. Steve told Tripp to fight to come back to them. Wendy wanted to know if Tripp was okay. John told her to focus on him. While Steve was giving Tripp chest compressions, Tripp woke up. Rafe got a call saying Clyde escaped from prison. Brady showed up at the DiMera mansion. Tate told Brady that he wanted to make sure Holly was okay. EJ said he wanted to make sure Holly didn’t sell him out to the police. When the police showed up, Tate begged Holly to tell the truth. EJ told the police to arrest him.

EJ told the police that he wanted Tate arrested for breaking and entering. Brady told him not to have him arrested. EJ said Tate has been a problem since he came to town. Brady said Tate wouldn’t have gone to all this trouble if he were guilty. EJ said he was trying to cover himself because he drugged Holly. When Holly tried to speak, she passed out. Steve, John, Ava, Rafe, and Harris got Tripp and Wendy to the hospital. John asked Ava about not sticking to the plan. Before she could say anything, Sarah showed up. Ava asked about Tripp. Sarah told her how Tripp and Wendy were doing. Steve and Ava went to see Tripp. They were glad he was okay. Rafe, Harris, and John went to check on Wendy. She told them that they saved her and Tripp’s life. Rafe asked if she could tell them what happened. Wendy told them what Goldman did. Rafe said Goldman was a dirty cop. While Holly was passed out, the police put handcuffs on Tate. Wendy told Rafe not to be mad at Ava. She said Ava didn’t want the police to know. Rafe said Ava should have trusted him. He said he was going to make Ava pay if she was responsible for Clyde’s escape. Harris asked why he thought Ava had something to do with it. Rafe said it was obvious that she was involved. Sarah talked to Harris about his case. She told him Xander was in jail for it and hoped he remembered soon. Harris apologized for what Xander is going through. John and Steve talked about Rafe figuring out they helped Clyde escape. When Holly woke up, she told Nicole and EJ not to send Tate to jail. Nicole told Holly rest. Tate told Brady to make sure Holly was okay. He asked Brady what was going to happen to him. Brady said he couldn’t do anything because he broke into the D.A.’s house. Tate asked him to talk to Nicole. Brady said he was going to side with her husband. When the police were about to take Tate, Brady said he would talk to Justin.

Ava was upset with herself for trusting Clyde. She didn’t want to lose her son. John and Steve arrived and found her tied up. Rafe couldn’t believe that Goldman was a dirty cop. Jada was shocked when she heard it. Harris arrived at the station. He got himself released so he could help with the investigation. Abe prayed for Paulina. There was a white light in the room. Paulina opened her eyes and saw a woman in the room. Abe turned around and wondered if he was hallucinating. Paulina was shocked to see Lexie. She wondered if it was time for her to go. Abe wanted to know what was going on. Paulina asked him if he saw her. Abe said she died a long time ago. Rafe, Jada and Harris talked about what to do to find Goldman. John yelled at Ava for what she did. She told Steve and John that Tripp would be dead. Steve didn’t want to believe it. Ava blamed herself, but Steve yelled at her to shut up. He refused to give up finding their son. Tate went to see Holly. Abe told Paulina that he remembered reading that his first wife died. Paulina reminded him that Lexie died. He wanted to know if Lexie was there to take Paulina. Paulina said it was her time. Jada couldn’t believe she comforted Goldman when she was working for Clyde. Rafe and Harris couldn’t believe she was lying under their noses. Jada pieced the incidents together and couldn’t believe they didn’t see it. Rafe wanted to investigate the other cops too. Tate kissed Holly. She couldn’t believe he snuck into her room.

Steve, John and Ava went to her apartment. John called Rafe and told him about Tripp and Wendy getting kidnapped. He wanted to know if he wanted to see it. John hoped Rafe could pick up on something they missed. Steve wanted to watch the video again. Lexie asked Abe if he remembered when he last saw her. Abe got his memory of Lexie back. He remembered everything. Holly regretted not listening to Tate when he warned her not to take drugs. He let her know that EJ accused him of giving the drugs to her. Abe talked to Lexie about being with Paulina. He looked at Paulina when she flatlined. He kept staring at her. Steve noticed that Wendy made gestures while Tripp made the video to them. He realized that Wendy was signing in the background. Tate wanted Holly to tell everyone that he didn’t have anything to do with the drugs she got. She said she couldn’t do it. Jada found an address that Goldman kept going to. They went to check it out. Steve, John and Ava found Tripp and Wendy. Abe talked to Lexie while Paulina flatlined. Abe said he needed Paulina. Lexie said she wasn’t there to take anyone. She was there to help Paulina. Lexie wanted her to feel the love inside his heart. She wanted him to transfer his love to her. He didn’t know how to do it. She wanted him to believe what’s in his heart. Tate told Holly that his life was ruined if she didn’t tell the truth. She said she couldn’t say the drugs were hers. Holly wanted to come up with another story. He demanded to know why she wouldn’t tell the truth. Holly explained that he couldn’t disappoint her mother. Tate couldn’t believe that she was going to ruin his life so she could pretend she’s still the golden child. He begged her to tell the truth. Someone tried to open the door. Steve yelled for Ava to call 9-1-1. Steve and John gave Tripp and Wendy CPR. Rafe and Harris arrived at the scene. A nurse went to Paulina’s room. She started breathing again.
