At Thomas’ apartment, he keeps hearing the Hope mannequin telling him to kill Liam. He doesn’t want to do that, so he leaves and goes to get some work done at Forrester. Charlie comes in and gives him a hard time for stealing the mannequin. Charlies heard from Hope that he had it and that he uses it for inspiration. Charlie demands to know the real reason he has it. At home, Liam and Hope argue about Thomas – whether he’s really trying to improve himself or is back to being a creepy manipulator. Hope wants to see the good in him. Liam admires her for being that way, but he fears that it’s dangerous to trust Thomas at all.

Carter hosts a nice dinner party with Zoe, Zende and Paris. They play a celebrity guessing-game. Zende and Paris flirt, and he takes her upstairs to show her Carter’s amazing rooftop view. While they’re gone, Carter takes out a ring and starts to propose to Zoe. A smoke alarm goes off in their building, so Carter and Paris go out to see whether there’s really a fire or not. Meanwhile, Zende notices that Zoe looks stricken, so he asks her what’s wrong. She doesn’t answer, but he sees the ring on the table.

In his apartment, Thomas lies to Hope about why he kept the Hope mannequin. He claims it gives him inspiration for his designs. She seems to buy it. Meanwhile, Thomas keeps hearing the Hope mannequin talking to him, telling him to kiss Hope and that she wants him. Thomas is barely able to concentrate on his conversation with the real Hope because of his delusions. Hope tries to be supportive of his hard work, but she admits that the mannequin is creepy.

Liam visits Finn at his office to ask for his help in persuading Steffy and Hope about Thomas going off the rails again. Finn thinks that Liam is too involved with Steffy. He decides to take Steffy’s word about her brother’s behavior, rather than Liam’s. Liam can’t believe that Finn won’t see the truth. At Forrester, Paris is still mortified that Zende overheard her talking about him. Zoe laughs and tells her that she doesn’t need to be embarrassed. Carter comes in while they’re talking. They all joke around. Paris wonders why Zoe warned her away from Zende. Zoe doesn’t really have a good reason, so Paris concludes that it must be because Zende just got divorced. Carter invites Zoe over for dinner with them, saying that he’s inviting Zende, too.

Amanda tells Devon that she met with Rose’s neighbor Nadine and she only has more questions, but she will keep investigating until she finds her and Hilary ‘s biological parents. Abby asks Mariah to be her maid of honor and she also wants Devon to officiate the wedding once he is ordained. Elena finally admits to Nate that she has feelings for him, but she also tells him that she still has feelings for Devon. Sally asks Lauren if she can have the job as the head of Jabot Collective, but Lauren tells her she has another person in mind for the job. Kyle and Summer decide to fight for their relationship, but Summer tells Kyle she needs time to get over her doubts about their relationship. Adam apologizes to Chelsea for kidnapping her and tells her that almost getting shot made him realize that he would be lost without her. Chance develops a staph infection and after a few tense hours his fever breaks and he is on the way to recovery. Chance tells Abby he doesn’t want to wait another minute to marry her. Theo meets with Britany Hodges because he wants to know what he needs to do to contest Dina’s will.

Tripp tried to assure Steve that he didn’t rape Allie. He let him know that Allie turned the test results over to Trask. Melinda told Allie how there was nothing she could do about the rape. Philip got a shock when Ava was the one watching him in the park. He told her she would ruin everything if someone saw her. She told him how he was losing her trust. Xander and Sarah talked about who could be working with Philip. He thought Brady was the one who was helping him because of what he and Victor did to him. Steve told Tripp Trask wasn’t going to prosecute him because the rape happened outside of her jurisdiction. Tripp wasn’t happy because he couldn’t clear his name. Steve thought they should be grateful because the jury might have convicted him. Steve said he believed him, but he wanted to know why. Allie was upset that Tripp couldn’t be prosecuted. Melinda explained how the rape didn’t happen in Salem. Xander planned on confronting Brady about what he was doing. Philip told Ava how Xander was watching his every move. She didn’t think it was her problem. She reminded him how he owed a huge gambling debt. He wanted to know if she was there to watch him or because of Steve. She wanted to see Steve, but she couldn’t because she’s wanted by the law. Steve explained why he believed Tripp. Allie thought she came forward for nothing. Melinda said that might not be true.

Melinda told Allie she could send the file overseas so Tripp could be prosecuted where it happened. Allie wanted to think about it before she agreed to it. Tripp wanted to convince people that he was telling the truth. Philip asked Ava if she knew Tripp. She didn’t want to talk about him or Steve. He wanted to make sure she was focused on the right thing. She wanted him to do whatever it took to make sure their plan worked. She warned him that he would pay if he didn’t take care of Xander. Sarah went to see Brady to find out if he was working with Philip. Allie thought about confronting Tripp about the rape. Ava was on the phone with someone and said she believed she gave Philip the proper motivation to take care of Xander. Melinda ran into Tripp and thanked him for what he did for Haley. She also gave him the warning that she talked to Allie about forwarding the results to London. He thought they could still prosecute him.

At Forrester Creations, Steffy and Hope are having an uncomfortable conversation about how much time Liam has been spending with Steffy and Kelly, but Hope assures her that she’s fine with it. Just then, Liam barges in, clearly very upset. He tells them about Thomas’ mannequin and how creepy it is. Both women are clearly stunned, but they present plausible reasons why Thomas has the mannequin. Liam can’t believe that they don’t get that Thomas is going crazy and obsessive again. Hope gets hysterical as they argue about Thomas and lets slip that she’s hired him back for Hope For the Future. Liam is shocked to hear that. Hope yells at Liam about how Thomas has changed and has been acting normal at work lately. She accuses Liam of inciting Thomas. Hope then storms out to tell Thomas herself what she told Liam. Steffy keeps making faces as they argue. After Hope leaves, Steffy is on the phone. Then she, too, sticks up for Thomas. Liam points out the ways that Thomas has been manipulative lately, including trying to turn him and Finn against each other. Steffy wants to believe that Thomas learned from his mistakes and isn’t focused on Hope any longer. Liam points out that Thomas is a good liar and manipulator. He concludes that something is wrong with Thomas and that he should be getting the help he needs. He thinks both she and Hope have a blind spot when it comes to Thomas. He says having a Hope mannequin proves that he’s obsessed.

At home, Thomas is having headaches and blurred vision. He’s hallucinating that the Hope mannequin is telling him to save Hope by killing Liam. He demands to know who or what she is. She says that he knows who she is. He agrees when she says that Liam is selfish and has divided feelings. He sees her talking with Hope’s mouth and face. The Hope mannequin keeps trying to get Thomas to kill Liam, so that he can have Hope. Hope knocks on the door, so he hides the mannequin. She bursts in, and Thomas comes back out. He wonders why she’s there. She tells him that she found out Liam confronted him and that it wasn’t OK. Thomas has more headaches, so she asks if he’s okay. Thomas knows that she’s heard about the mannequin from Liam. He explains that when he saw the mannequin, he knew it would make him a better designer. The mannequin inspires him, he claims. She asks to see it, so he brings it out. Thomas sets it down, and Hope looks at it up close. She circles it slowly. As Hope looks at the mannequin, which is much taller than her, Thomas hears the Hope mannequin tell him to take Hope now because she wants him.

Phyllis figured out that Faith has a hangover and she has a talk with Faith. Faith admits she had Vodka and pineapple juice at her friend Jordan’s house. Faith explains that it was the first time that she had a drink. Faith begs Phyllis not to tell Nick because it could ruin the close relationship between her and her father. Phyllis tries to tell Nick about Faith twice, but they start talking about other things and then Nick leaves. Chance tells Rey that Adam didn’t shoot him he was shot protecting Adam from being shot. Paul tells Victor that Adam kidnapped Chelsea because she saw blueprints of Newman Tower on his computer and Chelsea thought he was going to try and hurt the Newman family. Rey suspects Chelsea shot Adam, but Adam tells him Chelsea would never shoot the father of her child. Rey offers to put Chelsea in protective custody at first she turns down his offer but later decides to go into protective custody and sends a text to Rey. Chelsea is about to leave the house when she is startled by Adam. Chance seems to be doing well but he suddenly has trouble breathing and Abby screams for someone to help him.

Claire talked to Jan about kissing Theo. She said it was embarrassing how she kissed him, but it made her realize that she could have a shot with Charlie. She told her what happened when she went to see Charlie. Charlie talked to Xander about Claire showed up at the office. He wanted to know if he told her about kissing the other guy, but he didn’t tell her. Belle told Philip how Jan still intended to press charges against him. She suggested he plead guilty and wouldn’t get any jail time. He would only have probation. He didn’t want to take the deal. He wanted to go to trial. She said the deal was a good one. He thought Xander was going to use the case against him. She warned him the case would be long and destroy his life. He was fine with it, but she didn’t think Shawn would like it. Theo talked to Lani and Abe about what happened with Claire. Claire told Jan how she hadn’t heard from Charlie. Jan insisted that she go after Charlie. Sarah went to Xander’s office and told him how he was right about Philip. She thought he was hiding something.

Charlie showed up while Claire and Jan were talking. Jan asked him why he blew Claire off. He said it was because he was kissing a new guy. Lani told Abe and Theo how she worked things out with Eli because of what happened with Kristen. Abe thought about his last conversation about that with Eli. Claire was surprised that Charlie knew she kissed Theo. She asked if he was spying on her. He explained the advice he got from Xander. He told her what happened when he saw her kissing someone else. Jan kept getting involved until her phone rang. She was upset by her phone call. Belle went to Shawn and told him how Philip was her former client. She said he took the plea deal. Xander told Sarah how Philip shifted money around without telling him. She asked him what he thought that meant. Claire told Charlie what happened with Theo. He wanted to know why she didn’t tell him what happened. Xander continued to talk to Sarah about Philip. Philip was jogging and someone was following him. Belle assured Shawn that she loved him. She got down on one knee and proposed to him.

Chelsea tells Rey she thinks Adam kidnapped her to keep her from telling the police that she saw blueprints for Newman Tower with an x mark in a particular spot. Adam is worried about Chance’s condition and blames himself for the whole situation. Sharon and Lily talk about their cancer experiences and tell each other how grateful they are that they are free of cancer. Billy goes to the hospital since a source told him that Adam is a suspect in Chance’s shooting. He wants to make this the second part of the “Making of a Monster” story. Abby knows what Billy is trying to do and begs him not to use his family connection to exploit Chance’s situation right now. Billy later tells Lily that he realized how much pain Abby was in and writing the story would only cause her more pain. Lily is happy because she thinks Billy has finally learned that there are innocent people involved in the stories they write and that they must be more careful with their stories. Billy tells Lily that he will find something else that Adam has done and make that the second part of the “Making of a Monster” story. Abby keeps vigil at Chance’s bedside and after a long wait Abby is thrilled when Chance finally awakens.

Abby told Gwen how Jack blamed her for what happened with Jennifer. Gwen assured her that she would be there for her. Jake wanted to convince Kate to sneak around with him. She thought about it when Chad showed up. Jake hid so she let him in the room. He wanted to talk about Abby. Abby told Gwen how her parents were supposed to celebrate the strength of their marriage, but she messed it up. Claire and Theo kissed and Charlie saw them. He walked away before they could see him. Xander tried to tell Victor how Philip transferred money to another company. Victor said he would handle it. Chad thought Abby would have gone to her room to confront her. She mentioned how Abby went through her things and blurted her business out to people. He let her know he had no way of reaching her. Gwen tried to make Abby feel better about what she did. Victor called Philip to find out what he was doing. Xander was investigating Philip when Charlie arrived. He told him how Claire kissed another guy. Philip denied doing anything wrong. Victor thought he was embezzling money. He explained what he did. He realized Xander was the one who told him. Xander thought Charlie still had a chance to get Claire. He thought he should give up on her. Claire thought she and Theo could be together. She wanted to move with him. Chad wanted to know how Kate could sleep with Jack. She explained the situation to him. Jake told Gwen how he believed she was responsible for what happened with Jack and Jennifer.

Gwen left the room after talking to Jake. Abby arrived and they talked about what happened. He asked her how she found the letter. Theo told Claire how he was seeing someone. She thought she would be alone. She did tell him how she was talking to someone. Xander continued to talk to Charlie about not giving up on Claire. Claire was afraid she would screw up her relationship with Charlie. Chad didn’t want Kate to blame Abby for what she did with Jack. He wanted to know why she kept the letter. She said it was in a box and she thought it would be safe in her house. Abby admitted that she was looking for shoes in Kate’s closet and accidentally found it. Jake thought it was weird how Kate would let her go through her things when she had the letter. Abby admitted that Gwen suggested she borrow the shoes from Kate. She thought he was trying to warn her about Kate again. She didn’t want to hear him talk about Gwen. Gwen saw them together and went to find Chad. She told him how Abby was home.

Sally tells Theo that she came to Genoa City hoping to persuade Jack to let her design for Jabot Collective but Jabot closed the company. Theo informs her that the company was sold to Fenmore’s and tells her that he can help her reach her goal. Theo wants Sally to be his spy at Jabot and give him any information that will help him claim his inheritance. Sally turns down Theo ‘s offer and tells him she doesn’t need his help to reach her goal. Summer tells Kyle she thinks Sally has an agenda, but Kyle thinks that Summer is jealous because she and Sally have similar personalities. Chance is shot shielding Adam from a gunshot intended for him. Chance manages to say “Adam” to Rey before being taken to the hospital. Abby is informed that Chance has been shot and heads to the hospital to wait for Chance to get out of surgery. Rey goes to Adam’s place to question him about Chance’s shooting. Chelsea arrives home out of breath and looking disheveled and Chloe wonders where Chelsea has been and what happened to her.

Jack wanted to know if Jennifer could forgive him for what he did. She slapped him and reminded him how he did the same thing her father did by sleeping with Kate. She told him how that destroyed her family. Jake tried to kiss Kate, but she stopped him. She thought he wanted to be with her because he thought she was lonely or because he was lonely. He wanted her because he thought she was beautiful. She reminded him about their age difference. Jake talked to Xander about being attracted to Claire. Claire was surprised when Theo showed up at her place. Jake told Kate how he was attracted to her since he met her. She told him she just wanted her car fixed when she went to his garage. Jennifer didn’t want Jack to touch her when he approached her. She told him happy anniversary before she walked away from him. Claire talked to Theo about the way she felt about Ciara. She mentioned how she was jealous. Xander told Charlie about Claire being in a mental hospital. Charlie wasn’t going to judge Claire for getting help. Xander mumbled how she didn’t have much choice. JJ found Jennifer outside of the pub and asked her how she felt. Abby found Jack at the park. He told her what happened. She apologized and he told her the whole thing was her fault.

Xander advised Charlie to ask Claire out for dinner. Claire told Theo that she thought he wanted Ciara when they were together. He said it wasn’t true. She realized that now, but she always thought Ciara was better than her in every way. Abby couldn’t believe Jack blamed her for what he did. He told her how she shouldn’t have told Jennifer what happened. He told her how he and Kate agreed not to tell Jennifer. He said because of her thoughtless and reckless decision, Jennifer had to find out anyway. Jennifer told JJ how Jack slept with Kate. After they made love, Kate told Jake it couldn’t happen again. Jennifer talked to JJ about what Jack did with Kate. Jake couldn’t believe Kate didn’t want to be with him again. Abby couldn’t believe Jack called her reckless. She reminded him how he was with Kate. He said it was one mistake. He said she should have come to him. She thought he wanted her to keep quiet. He didn’t want her to hurt Jennifer. She said she was the one who deserved to know. Jennifer tried to explain to JJ what happened between Jack and Kate. Abby explained to Jack why she revealed the truth. She told him she was drinking and he wanted told her how she shouldn’t have mixed alcohol with her medication. She told him how he shouldn’t sleep with people who aren’t his wife. He got upset and didn’t want to look at her. Kate didn’t want to hurt Chad by being with Jake. He said they could keep seeing each other without telling him. Chad was outside of Kate’s door.

Chance proposed to Abby, and she accepted. Chance told Abby that Chelsea was missing, and he thought Adam was a danger to the Newmans. He let her know Chelsea was missing and that he was having Adam followed. The Newmans gathered for Adam’s intervention, but Adam didn’t show up. Victoria drew up a contract for Adam to sign, relinquishing his claim on Victor’s estate and Newman Enterprises, but she didn’t tell Victor what she did. Victor refused to hear any suggestion that he should give up on working to bring Adam back into the family fold. Adam had someone watching Newman, and they sent him a text when Victor went there. Adam had made a bomb that he was waiting to detonate using an app on his phone. Adam got a text letting him know Chelsea escaped. He went to the building where she’d been held, and Chance showed up there and confronted him. Adam denied knowing where Chelsea was. Just as Adam was about to detonate the bomb, Chance saw a shooter pointing a gun at Adam. Chance rushed and dove to knock Adam out of the way. Sharon told Nick how Faith told Adam off. Nick was proud Faith stood up for herself. Sharon felt guilty for bringing Adam into Faith’s life. Nick didn’t want her to blame herself for that, but he hoped she saw that Adam was irredeemable. Nick decided to confront Adam about Faith, and Sharon asked him not to fight Adam.

Lily proposed she and Devon team up at ChanceComm and LP to start a joint streaming service. He loved the idea. She encouraged him to spend time with Amanda. He said they were just friends. He found out there was something going on between Lily and Billy. She described her relationship with Billy as complicated, and he said he and Amanda were complicated too. Nate didn’t get the news he wanted to hear at his doctor’s appointment, but the doctor told him not to lose hope that his hand would heal. Elena also urged Nate to stay optimistic. Nate was worried he’d lost his career, and he blamed Devon. Nate felt that none of this would’ve happened if Elena would’ve admitted she had feelings for Nate and broken up with Devon before the one night stand. Elena told Nate he was making her feel horrible. Nate decided to leave town, since there was nothing left for him here.

Jack tried to explain what happened to Jennifer what happened with Kate. She couldn’t believe he would turn to another woman in his time of need. Jake asked Kate if she really had sex with Abby’s father. Jack told Jennifer that what happened with Kate wasn’t planned. She wanted to know what happened. Abby told him how he had to take care of himself if he was going to take care of her. He kept going to the pub after he left the hospital. He was afraid she would never wake up. He started drinking to ease the pain. Kate told Jake her side of what happened with Jack. Jennifer didn’t want to hear the details of Jack’s courtship with Kate. He told her how there wasn’t a courtship because they only talked about her. Jennifer reminded Jack how he didn’t wake up alone. She told him how he spent his days by her bed and his nights in Kate’s bed.

Chad let Gwen know that Abby was locked up in the bathroom. She blamed herself for what happened because she suggested she borrow shoes from her. Jack admitted to Jennifer how he spent one night in Kate’s bed. Kate told Jake that watching how lonely Jack was made her lonely too. She thought they made a connection while talking about Jennifer. Jennifer asked Jack if he slept with Kate. He admitted that he slept with Kate and woke up alone. Jennifer started crying. During the flashback scenes, it turned out Gwen overheard Jack and Kate talking about their night together. Gwen continued to blame herself for Abby finding out the truth. Chad reassured her that it wasn’t her fault. Jake wanted to know why Kate kept the letter Jack wrote. She said it meant something to her. Jack told Jennifer how Adrienne had died and JJ was dealing with the pain of losing Hailey. He admitted that he didn’t tell her how he was lost one night. Jake asked Kate if she was in love with Jack. She talked to Jake about how good she felt helping Jack out. She thought everyone would think she was a home wrecking b*tch. He didn’t want to judge. He leaned in to kiss her. Jack asked Jennifer if she could forgive him.

Lily asks Billy to be professional at work and not go out of his way to do special things for her because people at work may start to gossip about them having a personal relationship. Faith lets Adam have it and tells him he is a terrible person who should be in jail for everything he has done. Faith tells Adam she wishes he would go away and leave everyone alone. Faith heads to the park and meets with her friend Jordan and tells her what happened with Adam and Jordan offers her drugs to make her feel better. Victor tells Victoria and Nick that he wants to stage an intervention for Adam and he hopes they can stop Adam from carrying out his plan. Victoria agrees to help with the intervention but later tells Nick she intends to ask Adam to sign a contract giving up his claim to his inheritance just to see if he really is a changed man. Chance tells Rey that he is having Adam followed because he suspects Adam had something to do with Chelsea’s disappearance. Rey also gets suspicious when Sharon tells him that Adam told her wanted to put his past behind him. Chelsea continues to try to get out of the room where Adam is keeping her hostage.

Steve told Kayla he wasn’t going to Jack and Jennifer’s party because of Tripp. He didn’t think he should be around Lucas since he thought Tripp assaulted Allie. Kayla told him how he needed to accept the fact that Tripp raped Allie. Abby noticed Kate had a letter from her father. She was confused by it so Gwen urged her to read the letter. Allie read it and something caught her by surprise. Steve wondered if Kayla was mad at him for believing his son. She thought he should stop being in denial when the test proved he was the father. She didn’t like the fact that he was basically called Allie a liar. She wanted him to admit that Tripp raped Allie because it was insulting to everyone who was raped including her. Kate wanted Jake to go to the party with her, but he didn’t think he should go. He didn’t want to ruin things for everyone there. She convinced him to go with her.

Abby couldn’t believe Jack wrote the letter to Kate. Gwen said she felt guilty for making her read it. Chad showed up and told her how her parents went to the party. He noticed something was wrong with her. Jack tried to talk to Steve at the party, but he didn’t want to talk about Tripp. Jack told him how he was qualified to talk to him about the situation. Steve wanted everyone to know the truth about what happened. Kayla admitted to Jennifer that she didn’t know if she and Steve could get through what Tripp did. Abby wasn’t sure if she could go to the party anymore. Gwen wanted her to go to the party.

Sally gets a job as Lauren’s assistant because she tells Lauren she just wants to get her foot in the door in order to make a fresh start, but she really isn’t happy with the job and wants something better. Dina’s will is read and her money is split between her three children with instructions to use it to do good in the world. Ashley begins to research charities that could use the money Dina left to them. Abby is given Dina’s apartment in Paris with instructions to use it as often as possible. Kyle is given Dina’s art collection with instructions to sell some of it but keep the paintings that he enjoys the most so he can remember there is more to life than work. Dina leaves Theo’s father a pen that belonged to his father Stuart but since Theo’s father has passed-away, Theo is given the pen. Theo later runs into Sally at Crimson Lights and says he feels cheated because Dina didn’t leave him any money. Chance and Chloe suspect that Adam kidnapped Chelsea after they both get a strange text message from Chelsea that Chloe is sure was written by Adam. Chance questions Adam and he grows more suspicious of him because he doesn’t seem worried about Chelsea. Chance warns Adam that if he finds evidence that he kidnaped Chelsea he will make sure he is prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Chelsea wakes up in a small dark room with a bed and some water she tries her best to get out but she is unable to get out. The water makes her dizzy and she falls on top of the bed unconscious.

Jack talked to Justin about the party. He mentioned how the day was special to him and Adrienne too. Justin understood because he wouldn’t be the life of the party. Jack thought there was another reason. Jennifer was that Bonnie told her how Justin forgave her for everything. She reminded Bonnie about the things she did. She didn’t want her to get her hopes up about anything happening with Justin. JJ surprised Abby when he was back for the party. JJ thanked Gwen for getting him back to Salem. Gwen walked out of the room. She was ready to give Abby a real surprise. Chad wanted to invite Kate to the party, but she tried to get out of it. Jake bailed Ben out of jail and offered his place to her. Ben said he would think of Ciara regardless of where he was living. Abby was grateful that the family was getting their lives back together. Justin wanted to know what Jack meant by his comment. He said Steve and Kayla would have been at the party. Justin told him how he forgave Bonnie and wondered how Adrienne would feel about that. Bonnie told Jennifer how Justin forgave her because she gave her royalties to Sonny’s program. Jack was upset that Justin forgave Bonnie after everything she did. Justin was tired of being angry all of the time because it wouldn’t bring Adrienne back to him. Ben told Jake about what happened with Vincent. He was convinced Vincent wanted him to think Ciara was gone.

Chad went back to the mansion and was surprised to see JJ. Abby wanted Chad to help JJ get ready, but he wanted to talk to Abby first. Jake offered Ben his job back at the garage to help him out. Ben thought it was a good idea. Abby wasn’t happy that Chad invited Kate to the party. She reminded him how her parents didn’t like her, but he convinced her it would be fine. She gave in to Chad. Gwen went to Kate’s room to check something in her box. Jake and Kate ran into each other in the town square. They talked about the party Gwen planned for Jack and Jennifer. Gwen hid Abby’s shoes under the couch. Abby told her how her shoes were missing and she suggested going to Kate’s room to get a pair. Justin ran into Bonnie. She offered to have a beer with him, but he wasn’t interested. He was willing to meet her another time. Kate invited Jake to the party. JJ surprised his parents. He told them how Gwen arranged for him to be there. Gwen went to Kate’s room to get the shoes. Gwen dropped Kate’s letters and Abby picked one up. She was upset about.

Tripp told Steve he couldn’t be Henry’s father. He said the results had to be wrong. They talked about Kayla doing the test again. Steve said Allie could have learned how to switch DNA from Sami. Kayla said she ran the test three times and they all came back positive. She said he and Henry matched. She said only the baby’s father could match like that. Tripp defended himself to Kayla. She said the tests didn’t lie. He asked if she was saying that he lied. He denied being with Allie. Kayla said she wanted to believe him. Tripp asked Steve if he believed he was a rapist. Steve told him to look in his eye and swear he was telling the truth. He did it. Steve said they would find out what was going on. Tripp wanted to know how they were going to fix it. Steve told him he was his father and would get to the bottom of it. Allie told Nicole about the DNA test. Allie said Tripp was a match for Henry. Nicole wanted to know why Allie looked upset. Allie said Tripp wanted Kayla to run the results again. She said she couldn’t understand why he kept saying he was innocent when the test proved that he wasn’t. Kayla called Allie and asked her to come to the hospital.

Eli went to see Brady to talk. They went back and forth over what Eli did to Kristen. Eli wanted to make sure Brady kept his promise not to tell Lani what he did. Brady said he had nothing to lose and thought Lani deserved to know what he did to her best friend. Lani showed up. Eli begged him not to tell Lani the truth. Brady let Lani inside. She wondered why Eli was there. Brady told Lani Eli wanted to check on him. Eli said he wasn’t feeling well. She helped Eli leave the room. She told Brady to give Kristen her love. Brady was upset when they left. Brady told Kristen’s picture that he was going to make Eli pay by exposing him. Allie and Nicole went to see Kayla at the hospital. Kayla said the new test results proved she was right about Tripp being Henry’s father. Kayla wanted to know what she wanted to do. Nicole told Allie that she would support her. Allie said she had to stop Tripp from hurting another girl.

Faith secretly went to the unsupervised pool party with Jordan, but she felt uncomfortable, and she overheard someone calling her a loser, so she left. Sharon felt great and optimistic about life, so she did a shift at Crimson Lights. Sharon and Mariah asked Faith why she’d left the sleepover at Jordan’s. Faith claimed she just wanted to be at home. Mariah was concerned Faith wasn’t telling the whole story and assured Faith that she could confide in her. Faith maintained that she was fine. Rey, Sharon and Mariah planned the wedding. Sharon worked to get Faith involved in it too. Faith got a nasty text from a kid at the party. When Jordan texted to see where Faith was, Faith said Sharon needed her to come home. Chelsea found out Adam had been looking at schematics for Newman Tower, and there was an X on it marking the CEO’s office. She was scared he was going to do something to damage the building or the people inside. He saw no point in defending himself, since she’d come to the worst conclusion no matter what he said. She urged him to think about what this would do to Connor. After Chelsea left, Adam made a call and asked instructed someone to do something for him. Young Adam warned Adam that what he was about to do would be the worst thing he’d ever done. Adam felt that everything that happened in the past had been leading up to this moment. Chloe and Chelsea discussed Adam. Chloe thought Chelsea was right to leave him. Chelsea arranged to talk to Chance about Adam’s state of mind. Chloe invited Chelsea to join her family in the park. Chelsea said she had to stay and talk to Chance about a minor legal matter. While Chelsea was alone in the house, a man dressed in black showed up and kidnapped her. When Chance got there later, nobody answered the door. Chloe found a toy on the floor that Chelsea had been holding when she got kidnapped. Chloe was confused because she thought she’d picked up all the toys. She called Chelsea, who didn’t answer. Adam got a call letting him know things were taken care of.

Theo and Kyle had a conversation about Theo being excluded from the end of Dina’s life. Kyle did not feel sorry for Theo, because he’d learned the hard way not to trust Theo. Sally Spectra, who was new in town, met Summer and Jack. Sally ran into Theo, and it turned out they knew each other when they both lived in NY. Theo invited Sally out to dinner. Summer warned Sally not to go, because Theo was no good. Sally said she could handle guys like Theo, but Summer said to trust her. Sally met with Lauren. Lauren and Sally’s great aunt went way back. Lauren had been watching Sally’s career and was impressed. Sally was in town because she was looking for a fresh start.

Allie was talking to Tripp and didn’t understand what he was trying to deny what he did. She also didn’t understand why he would agree to submit to a DNA test to prove his guilt. He denied that he agreed to the test. She told him how Kayla got the test results. He realized that no one believed him. He said Kayla wasn’t getting away with what she did. Vincent told Shawn and Ben how Ciara asked for mercy when he was going to kill her. He thought about what Ben did to Wendy and shot her. Chad and Abby talked about how Hope left town to look for Ciara. She admitted that she felt sorry for Ben. Chad was surprised after what he did to her. Jake overheard Gwen talking on the phone and she admitted she was planning a surprise for Jack and Jennifer. She thought he was obsessed with her. He said he didn’t care about her. He was worried about Abby. Shawn and Ben were at the station. Ben thought Vincent was going to tell them Ciara was alive. He was about to leave, but Shawn said he had to arrest him. Kayla called Allie to tell her about the test results. Steve ran into Tripp so he could tell him something, but he beat him to it. Steve said he wanted to tell him the truth himself. He wanted to know how she did it. Steve admitted it was his idea for her to test his toothbrush. Trip was surprised he did that because he thought he believed him. He said he did believe him. He wanted to prove he was telling the truth. Allie arrived at the hospital to see the test results. Kayla admitted that Tripp didn’t know about the test. Allie told her how Tripp knew about it. Gwen told Jake how Abby trusted her. He called her out for her fake behavior. Gwen thought he was in love with Abby.

 

Shawn told Ben what he did for why he had to get arrested. He was okay with it. Shawn read him his rights. Steve apologized for not telling Tripp the truth. He wanted to know when the results would be ready. He said Kayla had them. Allie wanted to know if Kayla believed him. She didn’t give her an answer. She didn’t think there was a point to ask family to pick sides. Kayla wanted to wait for the test results. Abby talked to Chad about Rolf’s plan to clone Stefano. He was surprised Rolf would do that. Abby let him know that Gwen was going above and beyond for them. Gwen and Jake argued about whether he wanted to sleep with Abby. Kate overheard him talking about not wanting to sleep with Abby or Gwen. Tripp and Steve arrived at the hospital. He and Allie wanted to find out the test results. Ben apologized to Shawn for the way he spoke to him when he was grieving Ciara’s death too. Shawn talked to him about what Ciara meant to him. He knew Ben and Ciara loved each other. He didn’t know how to live without her because she was everything to him. Kayla told Tripp that he was the father of the baby. Shawn advised Ben to keep going with his life because Ciara would want it. Kate wanted to know what Jake meant by wanting to sleep with someone else at the mansion. He wouldn’t tell her who he wanted. Abby considered postponing the party, but Gwen got upset. Abby was a little suspicious so Gwen had to cover herself. Kayla told everyone that Tripp is the father of Allie’s baby.

It was the day of Dina’s memorial. Lola told Kyle she lit a candle for Dina. Summer bristled when she saw Kyle and Lola at Crimson Lights. Lola explained it was innocent and shared her opinion that Summer was throwing away the best thing to ever happen to her. Summer told her to mind her own business. Lola felt that Summer should remember that this day was about Dina. Kyle and Summer agreed to set their issues aside and focus on Dina. Summer and Kyle rode to the church together. Traci and Ashley reminisced about Dina. Jack assured Theo he was welcome at the memorial. Theo was concerned about Kyle’s viewpoint, but Jack said Kyle had to respect Theo’s place in the family. Theo commented on the emerald accessories that Jack made for everyone but him. Jack explained that he only included those who were there the night Dina died. He never meant to exclude Theo and wished Theo had been there that night.

Chance supported Abby on this difficult day. He was going to take off work, to be with her, but she urged him to go. Ashley talked with Chance and was impressed. She told Abby he was the real deal. Theo livened up the memorial celebration, just like Dina wanted. He played an old song that was one of Dina’s favorites. Jack, Traci, Ashley, Abby and Lola loved it. Kyle sulked and tried to confront Theo, but Jack wouldn’t let him. Kyle ran out, and Summer followed him. He told her that he felt like the Abbotts were pushing him out. She told him he was being absurd. He didn’t understand why his family fell for Theo’s tricks. She told him that everyone saw Theo’s scam.

Ben pointed the gun at Vincent to get him to admit whether he killed Ciara. Vincent told him to he killed Ciara the same way he killed Wendy. Ben told him that he was going to put a few bullets in him. He called Ben’s bluff and told him to do it. Steve and Kayla noticed how John and Marlena didn’t sit with them. John showed up while they were talking. He wanted to apologize for trying to hit Steve. Steve understood and was glad he came to his senses. John got offended by that because he still thought Tripp was guilty of raping his granddaughter. Shawn was at the cemetery to say goodbye to Ciara when Tripp showed up. Shawn wondered why he was at the cemetery. Tripp told him that he wanted to pay his respects, but he wanted to wait until everyone left. Shawn didn’t understand why he didn’t go to the church. He said the situation with Allie was why he didn’t go. Steve told John how Allie was drunk when the rape happened so she didn’t know for a fact that Tripp raped her. John was about to yell at him when Kayla stopped them from arguing. Vincent told Ben he didn’t have it in him anymore to kill. He reminded him how he couldn’t kill Ciara or Eli. Eli wanted to get out of the hospital to stop Ben. He couldn’t forgive himself if Ben killed Vincent on his watch. He tried to get out of bed, but he fell on the floor.

Kayla continued to tell John and Steve that they should be mourning Ciara. Steve agreed with her and wanted to go with John to the pub. Steve thought they would have the proof they need that Tripp was innocent. John wanted to know what proof he meant. Ben said that he loved Ciara because he loved her and didn’t kill Eli because he was innocent. He had no problem killing because he killed before. Vincent knew he wasn’t going to die at his hands. Ben said he had no problem putting a bullet in his head. Steve and Kayla told John how they got a DNA test done to prove whether Tripp raped Allie. Steve wanted him to accept that Tripp was innocent. John said there was nothing to accept because he believed Allie. He said they would be disappointed and would find out what type of man Tripp really is. Lani told Eli he was talking in his sleep. He said he was sorry for something. Vincent told Ben he changed and wasn’t a killer anymore. He said Ciara was the reason why he changed. He told Vincent he changed his life when he took his wife. He said there was nothing left for him, but pain. Ben was about to shoot Vincent when he said he was holding out on him and there was more to the story. Steve wanted John to give Tripp the benefit of the doubt. She reminded him how they did the test behind his back and knew he would be mad about it. Steve agreed that Tripp deserved to know the truth. Vincent was about to tell Ben about Ciara when Shawn showed up. He demanded that Ben put down the gun. Eli said he was talking about Ben in his sleep, but Lani told him how he mentioned Kristen. He said he felt guilty for arresting Kristen. Lani felt like she was hiding something for why she changed her plea. Ben told Shawn that Vincent was about to tell him what happened to Ciara.

Nick offers to listen whenever he needs a friend. Billy takes Lily out to lunch and tells her that Adam wanted to call a truce with him. Billy also tells Lily that Adam has cut ties with the Newmans and he wants a fresh start to his life. Chelsea waits with Kevin and Chloe for her test results after her fainting spell. Chelsea accepts Kevin and Chloe ‘s invitation to move into the Chancellor Mansion. Devon tells Elena that he will never forgive her for throwing away their relationship because of a one-night stand. Billy and Lily kiss inside the elevator of the Grand Phoenix even though they had both agreed not to get personally involved with each other because it would ruin their business relationship.

Jennifer and Jack went to Hope’s place to get her for the memorial. They had trouble finding her and then she found the note she left for her. Claire was upset that things didn’t go well at the memorial. Julie tried to make her feel better about what happened. Claire wanted to do something for Ciara since she tried to kill her. Ben was determined to make sure Vincent didn’t make it to his arraignment. Jennifer read Hope’s letter to Jack. Hope mentioned not being able to go to the memorial service. Lani didn’t understand why Kristen confessed to what she did. She wanted to know if she did it on her own. Brady went to Eli and blamed him for why Kristen changed her plea. Eli said that Kristen deserved to pay for her crimes. Brady advised him to pray that Lani would understand how he tricked her best friend into a confession. Eli wanted to know if Brady was going to tell Lani what he did. Brady told him that he wouldn’t tell Lani the truth because of Kristen. Lani couldn’t believe Kristen didn’t fight back. Kristen didn’t want her to get upset over what happened. She assured her that she would be okay. Jennifer continued to read Hope’s letter. Hope wanted to look for Ciara and how she couldn’t go to the memorial. Ben was about to go after Vincent when Claire showed up at his place.

Jennifer was upset about what Hope wrote. Jack tried to make her feel better about it. Jennifer wanted to go after Hope, but Jack didn’t think it was a good idea. Brady showed up at the station so she could say goodbye to Rachel. Eli showed up at the station to see Lani. She didn’t know what she would have done if she were Kristen. He told her how was bringing Ciara’s killer to justice. Claire said she was at Ben’s place to take him to the memorial. He said he wasn’t going to it. She wanted to know where he was going if it weren’t to the memorial. He didn’t want to go to a grave site and see Ciara’s name without anything else there. Claire asked him if he thought she was alive. He didn’t tell her if he thought she was alive. He had to go. Kristen wanted Brady to take Rachel away so she wouldn’t see her be taken away. Jennifer and Jack told Doug and Julie how Hope left town. Ben took Vincent out of the police station. He pointed the gun at him.

Chance tells Adam that he is back on the police force and Adam tells Chance that Chelsea  left him and it is best that  she and Connor not be around him right now.    Adam has .ca meeting with   Nick and Victoria and tells them he  will no longer be a part of the Newman family.  Nick and Victoria suspect that Adam is up to something but they don’t know what it is yet. Theo feels left out of the  family when Jack invites him to the family meeting to plan Asia’s memorial service and nobody likes his ideas. Theo also notices everyone is wearing jewelry made from the stones in the emerald necklace but nobody thought to make him a piece of jewelry.  Chloe thinks that Chelsea should use an alias to get investors for her  new clothing line.  Chelsea gets so upset  that Chloe is glad she  left Adam that she gets up to leave the meeting and as she is walking away she passes out.   Adam meets with Victor  and shows him the papers that prove he has legally changed his name to Adam Wilson.
