Lily and Billy have an argument because Lily feels like Billy is devoting too much time to his podcast and neglecting his job as COO Lily tells Billy he should decide which job he wants to do.

Chelsea talks to Victoria about telling Johnny she is his biological mother. Billy and Victoria talk later and decide that they should tell Johnny the truth, but they wonder why Chelsea is pushing so hard for them to do it so soon. Billy and Victoria also decide to keep Johnny and Katie in boarding school.

Devon and Nate continue to have the same argument and they can’t reach a compromise so they can work together. Abby and Chance argue because Abby thinks Chance is spending too much time working and not spending enough time with his family. Chance is feeling pressured by the entire Newman family to drop the case. Victoria tells Chance she inadvertently pressured Abby to ask him to drop the case and she tells Chance to do whatever he thinks is right.

Kevin tells Chance that a partial bloody fingerprint was found inside Ashland’s rental car and Kevin tells Chance they can’t talk to Victor’s security team because they have left the country.

Cameron and Josslyn persuade Spencer to tell Trina about his plan to help her stay out of jail. Spencer also tells Cameron and Josslyn that he is in love with Trina and that is why he worked so hard to prove she was innocent. Spencer goes outside the court room to the hallway where Trina is to tell her the truth about his plan, and that he has feelings for her, but he sees Trina and Rory kissing and hears them talking about being boyfriend and girlfriend now. Spencer asks Cameron and Josslyn promise not to tell Trina anything because she deserves to be happy.. Josslyn can’t make that promise to him. Trina invites Rory to her celebration party.

Victor manufactures an internet post from Esme which originated in France and makes Jordan stop her search of Esme’s room. Victor tells Ava and Nikolas they must present a united front to the police so they won’t be suspected in Esme’s disappearance.

Sonny tells Dex he should have told him he was discharged from the army for hitting a superior officer. Dex explains that when he was little his brothers would beat him up so badly that when he was old enough he joined the army to get away from them. Dex explains that one day he saw his superior officer hitting his wife and kids and he punched him to protect them. Sonny tells Dex he needs time to decide if he will keep him in his organization.

Willow leans on TJ who advises her to tell Michael about her leukemia and Willow tells Michael after her follow-up appointment with her doctors.

Carly considers going to Aruba for a business seminar but is sad Drew can’t go with her.

Jack accepts Diane’s invitation to dinner and she tells him she is happy with her new life, and Phyllis shouldn’t feel displaced by her because she thinks they can both live peacefully in Genoa City.

Kyle surprises Summer with a Taste of Milan dinner at the Athletic club. The dinner is going well until Summer sees Nikki and Phyllis meeting with Thalia Morgan (The Talk co-host Natalie Morales) an investigate reporter, whom Nikki thinks can investigate Diane’s time in Los Angeles and dig up dirt on Diane that will make her leave town. Summer doesn’t believe that Nikki and Phyllis were meeting with Thalia because she is doing a story on Ashland. Summer wants Phyllis to tell her the reason she and Nikki met with the reporter.

Lily asks to meet with Nate to hear his side of the disagreement between him and Devon. Nate tells Lily that Devon doesn’t consider any of his ideas because he is used to running the company alone. Nate also thinks that Devon doesn’t consider any of his ideas because they come from him. Nate tells Lily some of his ideas and Lily later talks to Devon and tells him some of Nate’s ideas, but she tells him they are her ideas. Devon has some hesitation about the ideas but agrees to move forward with the ideas. Lily tells Devon thar the ideas came from Nate and Devon gets upset because he feels Lily tricked him. Devon tells Lily she doesn’t need to insert herself between he and Nate because they will work things out themselves. Devon later asks Nate what he was trying to pull by talking to Lily.

At Il Giardino, Brooke shows Hope, Liam and Deacon the photo of Sheila’s toe. They are shocked. Deacon wishes Sheila had been able to turn her life around. Hope and Liam tell Brooke about Thomas wanting Douglas back. Brooke thinks that Thomas will never be mentally fit enough to raise him.

At Forrester, Steffy and Thomas put pressure on Ridge and Taylor to get back together. Thomas tells them about asking Hope to give Douglas back. Steffy and Taylor agree that Thomas is ready for that, but Ridge looks unsure.

Li wishes to Bill that Sheila had rot in jail, but she’s fine with her being dead. Bill tells her how much he admires her and lets her know that he’s there for her if she needs to talk. She opens up about what Sheila put her through. He figures her husband must be glad to have her home, but Li says they’re through. She can’t forgive him for all the lies.

Sonny has to cut short his date with Nina when he gets a call from Brick about Dax’s background check. Sonny meets with Dax later and tells him that he has some bad news for him.

Nicolas tells his Uncle Victor the truth about what happened to Esme and Victor wants Ava to go to jail because he thinks she has become a liability for their family. Nicolas persuades him to help him protect Ava and Spencer. Victor throws the shoe that Nicolas found where Esme fell, as well as, her suitcase of the parapets into the harbor right before Jordan arrives with a search warrant.

Robert arrives in court before the verdict is read and he and Diane persuade the judge to let the bartender testify. The bartender happily testifies because Jordan gave him a deal in exchange for his testimony. Once the bartender testifies, all the charges are dropped against Trina. Trina asks Rory to text her later so they can make plans for a date. Josslyn persuades Spencer to tell Trina about his plan to help her. Spencer and Trina are left alone in the court room and are finally able to talk.

Britt and Terry tell Willow that she has early-stage leukemia and the chemotherapy drugs could hurt the baby. Britt and Terry explain that they usually wait until the pregnancy is further along so she can give birth early and then start chemotherapy. Britt and Terry tell Willow that since she is early in her pregnancy the wait would be too long and her leukemia could get worse if she waits for an early birth.

Drew tells Michael he may have found a way to get ELQ back from Valentin, but they will talk about it later after the party to celebrate Willow’s graduation from nursing school. Willow arrives home early and Michael is fixing things for the party and notices that Willow looks upset and he asks her what is, wrong.

Lily arrives back in town after her business trip and Devon tells her that Nate has been having trouble taking orders from him and has accused him of micro-managing him. Devon also tells Lily that Nate has refused to get advice from a mentor to help him learn about the business world. Devon also tells Lily he thinks he made a mistake giving Nate so much responsibility when he has no experience in business.

Nate sees Victoria at the park and they talk about the growing pains that come with working with family. Victoria tells Nate he is very smart and has a lot to offer Chancellor Winter. She is sure that Devon and Lily will come to appreciate his talent.

Victor tells Nikki, Nick, and Victoria, about the evidence Chance has discovered but he tells them to just be patient and wait because everything will be fine. Nick thinks Newman Media should put out the story first to avoid the appearance of a cover-up but the rest of the family thinks that they should cover the facts of the story but not make a big deal about it. Nick talks to Sally later about the story and Nick is surprised that Sally agrees with his family.

Adam continues to pressure Chance about helping with the investigation into Ashland’s death. Chance tells Adam no for a second time and tells Adam that he thought he had changed but he is returning to his old patterns of behavior. Chance tells Adam he should continue trying to change his behavior and become a better man for Connor’s sake.

Nick and Victor were at odds over Victor’s scheme to make it look like Ashland died in a car accident. Abby visited Victoria and learned she was having a hard time healing, due to Chance’s investigation into Ashland’s death. Victoria told Abby everything that happened the night Ashland died. Kevin recovered the missing security footage from the gas station. It proved that Ashland’s car had been in the gas station the night he died and that someone who wasn’t Ashland had driven the car away and thrown a cigarette outside the vehicle. Chance took the video to Victor, who brushed it off. Victor asked what Chance would think if Abby killed someone in self defense and Victor covered it up. Chance refused to entertain the hypothetical. Chance thought Victor should trust in law enforcement. Victor thought Chance should be loyal to the family.

Mariah helped Faith shop for college. Tessa got the all clear to use her voice sparingly. Mariah was promoted to head of PR at Jabot, which meant she had to stop working remotely and go back to the office. After a heart to heart, Sharon convinced Tessa to take the job at Marchetti. Nikki was upset Nick confided in Sharon about Ashland’s death. Nick said he trusted Sharon. Diane and Jack spent time with Harrison. Phyllis started her first day at Marchetti, and she and Diane promised Summer and Kyle that they would get along. Phyllis texted Nikki and Ashley and let them know the plan was underway.

Eric went to John and Marlena’s house and ran into Belle. He noticed that her bags were packed. She told him that she decided to go back home. She knew it would take time to fix things with Shawn. She thought moving back home was the first step. Eric told her about his date with Jada. He told her that Jada asked him out. Belle was happy that he was moving on with his life. Jada asked Shawn what happened with Belle. He told her that she was moving back home with him. She was happy for him. She knew what it was life to deal with marital trouble. He wanted to know what happened. She told him that she was divorced years ago. She felt like a failure at the time, but she moved on. She told him how she went on a date with Eric. He thought it was great, but she was worried about his ex-wife. Shawn thought everyone moved on and Nicole was married to Rafe. Clyde told Nancy, Chloe and Brady that he saw the guy who sold him Abby’s jewelry. Brady wanted to call the police, but Clyde stopped him. Nancy questioned him about that. He said he fenced the jewelry and it would be a violation of his parole. He said he could go back to prison. They wanted a description of the guy. He said he was weasel wearing a floral jacket. Chloe and Brady knew he was talking about Leo. They showed him a picture and he confirmed it was Leo. Nancy was happy that Leo was the one who sold him the jewelry.

Thomas told Chad that Leo was the tooth fairy he saw on the night his mother went to heaven. Chad chased after Leo and wanted answers. Leo tried to leave, but Chad stopped him. Chad dragged him to the police station. Later, they were in the interrogation room so Chad told Shawn that Leo killed Abby. Leo denied seeing Thomas in the tunnels. Chad lunged after him. Shawn pulled Chad off of Leo and told him to stay put. He wanted to talk to Thomas. Chad encouraged Thomas to answer Shawn and Jada’s questions. Thomas agreed, but he didn’t want to get the tooth fairy in trouble. They assured him that he didn’t do anything wrong. Chad wanted Leo to get arrested. Shawn told him they had to talk to Rafe first. Chad said he found Abby’s killer so Rafe needed to be there.

EJ wanted to know what secret Gwen and Ava were keeping. He wondered if it was about Abby. He reminded Gwen that she tried to ruin Chad and Abby’s marriage. Gwen said she was angry then. She said she was devastated for Chad. EJ wanted to know what their secret was. Ava said it was about Gwen wanting to be back with Xander. Gwen said that was true especially since Sarah was a suspect in Abby’s death. He said Sarah had an alibi. He said he didn’t think Sarah did it. He went to check on dinner. Gwen panicked over the lie. Ava said she knew how to handle him. Xander wanted to get information out of Ava about Gwen. Sarah said Ava wouldn’t tell him anything. Sarah wanted to go after Leo. Xander was upset that he believed in Gwen. Sarah said she knew he was hurt and trying to believe in love again. They talked about what happened. They made love.When they were finished, she told him her hallucinations were subsiding. She said they needed to get Ava to admit to what she did. Leo wanted Brady and Chloe to give him a job. They told him they weren’t interested. He left his look book behind. Chloe looked through the book and noticed that his designs weren’t that bad. Nancy showed up and invited them to dinner with her and Clyde. Chloe reluctantly agreed to it.

Clyde went to the Bistro and saw Leo. Clyde grabbed him and wanted to turn him in to the police. Leo threw his drink in Clyde’s face and ran away. Jennifer and Thomas were spending time together. When Chad showed up, Thomas ran away. Jennifer wanted to know what was going on. Chad said Thomas hated him because he lost his temper. She said Thomas was worried when he didn’t come home. She said Thomas was scared that he was going to lose Chad the way he lost Abby. Chad wanted to know how he would make this okay for Thomas. She said they had to go through this together. He said he was a mess right now. He said he was filled with rage. He said he was trying his best to keep it together. He said he was falling apart. He wanted to know what he was going to do without Abby. Jennifer brought Thomas in the living room. Chad apologized to him. Thomas said it was okay. Chad knew it wasn’t okay. He said it wasn’t Thomas’ fault. Chad said they were both mad and sad. They talked about happy times with Abby. Chad said he wanted to be good at coming up with great ideas the way Abby did. Thomas said he could make him feel better. Chad said he and Charlotte reminded him of their mother. He said he loved them. Chad and Thomas went to the square to get frozen yogurt. Thomas’ tooth fell out. He asked if the Tooth Fairy knew where they lived. Chad said she did. Thomas said the Tooth Fairy was a he. When he saw Leo, he said Leo was the Tooth Fairy.

Sonny tried to help Chad feel better by offering him a job. Alex walked in the room and told him the job was filled. Sonny introduced Chad to his brother. Alex told him that Victor hired him. Sonny was upset that Victor didn’t talk to him about it. Sonny was upset that Victor went behind his back and hired Alex. He used to look up to Alex and ended up resenting him for trying to take over the company. They talked about Alex a little longer and Sonny advised Chad to talk to someone. He wanted to talk to his son. Gwen went to Ava’s place and was surprised to see Kristen there. Kristen told her that Ava was at the DiMera mansion. She wanted some dirt so she could oust Ava from the company. Gwen refused to help her. Kristen reminded her what she did for her. She warned her that she would want something in return. Gwen was about to leave, but she told Kristen that the DiMera mansion wasn’t so great. After Gwen left, Kristen called Rolf and demanded that he wake up Stefan.

Gwen went to the DiMera mansion. She noticed Ava’s ring. She knew the ring used to be hers. She decided not to get mad and asked Ava not to tell anyone she helped her get out of prison the day Abby was killed. Ava wondered if it was because she killed her. Gwen said she didn’t kill her. She felt like they could benefit from her keeping quiet. Ava assured her that her secret was safe. Xander and Sarah went to Statesville. Xander was able to get the warden to get away from the desk. Sarah brought a USB drive so they could copy the files from the warden’s computer. The warden came back so they had to make up a lie to explain what they were doing. Sarah snatched the USB drive out of the computer. Later, Xander and Sarah went back to the hotel room. They noticed that Gwen was missing for a few hours the night Abby was murdered. They found out that Ava and Leo visited Sarah that day. Sarah also found out that Gwen made two calls. She knew she called Leo and Ava. They realized that Ava was the key to proving Gwen killed Abby.

Rafe told Gabi not to give up on love. She said it wasn’t fair that she didn’t get more time with Stefan. She said she was open to something new. She said she wasn’t sure how to read Li. Rafe admitted to being jealous of Nicole and Eric. Gabi said Eric and Nicole were each other’s first loves. She said they had a bond that couldn’t be broken. She said they couldn’t make it work. She said Nicole was lucky to have Rafe. Rolf told Li that his medical staff did a wonderful job. Rolf thanked him for funding the lab while he was in prison. Li asked what could be more important than saving Stefano’s son. Li said he wasn’t happy about Rolf using Jake’s heart. Li said he would defund his experiments if he kept getting things from Jake. LI asked if the transplant was a success. Rolf said Stefano should wake up in an hour. Li said that didn’t work since he was involved with Stefan’s widow. He said if Gabi found out Stefan was alive, she would go back to him. He said he wanted Stefan to have an unexpected setback. Rolf threatened to fight Li if he wanted to pull the plug on Stefan. Li said he wanted him to stall Stefano’s return so he could think. He said he didn’t care what Rolf told Kristen. Stefan had to stay on ice until he said otherwise. Rolf didn’t like lying to Kristen because she scared him. Li told him he should be afraid of him.

Kristen told Brady that she wanted to see Rachel. He agreed to let her see Rachel if she resigned from Basic Black and left him and Chloe alone. Kristen said she respected his move, but refused the deal. She said she would fight for shared custody since she was pardoned. Belle went to the police station. She told Shawn that she had to resolve issues surrounding Jake’s death. Shawn asked her how things were going between her and EJ. She said things were cordial, but awkward. She said EJ asked if she and Shawn were getting back together. She said she told EJ that she didn’t know. She told Shawn that she loved him and wanted to move back home. She said she would stay in Claire’s room. She said it would be a good start. He said he would like that. She said she never wanted him to lose Shawn Christian the way he did. When Kristen went back to see Rolf, he told her Stefan’s numbers weren’t right. He said they needed to wait to wake him up. Brady told Chloe that he wasn’t going to let Kristen come between them. Li went to Gabi and asked if she was ready to introduce him to her family. Gabi said she wanted to see where their relationship could go. He said he was happy to hear that.

Dante arrests Cody, and while at the police station, Cody tells Dante how he found out he was Dominique’s son. Cody tells Dante that he grew up in the caretaker’s cottage with his adoptive parents. Cody always heard stories growing up about Dominique and her abusive first husband Leopold Taub. Cody tells Dante that his adoptive mother told him that Dominique was his mother before she died because she felt he needed to know the truth. Scott is also telling Britt and Liesl about Leopold Rain and Dominique’s abusive marriage to him. Liesl tells Britt that Leopold had dealings with Faison. Scott thinks Dominique was trying to protect Cody from Leopold and that is why she gave him up for adoption. Scott also thinks that is the reason she never told him she had a son. Scott drops the charges against Cody because he believes he is telling the truth.

Jordan figures out that Portia wants to wake the bartender up from his coma after TJ tells her there is a way to wake him up early and that he considered doing it to help Trina. Rory also tells Jordan that Portia came by the room, but he didn’t let her in because she wasn’t on the approved list. Jordan decides to help Portia and when Jordan gets in the elevator she pushes the alarm button to create a distraction forcing Rory to leave his post. Portia is able to get into the bartender’s room and c give him that will awaken him from his coma.

Elena figures out that Imani never set up a meeting with Sally to get her out of her Newman Media contract when Sally tells Nate and Elena she never had a meeting scheduled with Imani. Elena gets upset with Nate for defending Imani and saying that Imani has been very supportive at work.

Chelsea asks Billy to talk to Victoria about telling Johnny she is his biological mother.

Sally agrees to let Elena out of her Newman Media contract when Nate offers a good price to buy out Elena’s contract.

Elena thinks Nate is enjoying having Imani stroke his ego and tell him everything he wants to hear.

Tessa tells Kyle and Summer she will think about the offer to be the face of Marchetti and later tells Mariah that she knows she talked to Kyle about her being the model for Marchetti.

Chelsea figures out that Billy isn’t happy at Chancellor Winters and tells him that he can tell her the truth about the reason he is unhappy.

Maxie is annoyed when Austin cancels a weekend trip with her and her kids because he has to go Pawtuck. Maxie asks Austin why he has to leave and he tells her he has a problem with his house in Pawtuck. Maxie doesn’t believe the story and later tells Lucy she thinks Austin is ready to have a relationship with her.

Martin tells Lucy he has to leave town because he is being blackmailed by Anna to break client attorney privilege. Martin and Sonny both advise Spencer to give police the name of the person that helped him get out of Spring Ridge to go visit his mother’s grave. Martin tells Spencer that if he gives police, a name he will only have to serve ten days in Spring Ridge but if he doesn’t give police a name he will serve three months in Pentonville. Spencer chooses to serve three months in Pentonville rather than tell the police his uncle Victor helped him.

Portia and Curtis run into a roadblock in their plan to wake up the bartender when Jordan assigns Rory to guard the door of the bartender’s hospital room. Portia and Curtis and Portia decide to wait a day or two until there is less focus on that room but later decide they have to wake the bartender up today when Diane calls to tell them the jury may return with a verdict today.

Adam talks to Abby and tells her that the Newmans are hiding something about Ashland’s death and they have left him and her out of the loop. Adam asks Abby to let him know if she finds out any information.

Victoria asks Chance if he plans to arrest Nick for murder. Chance tells Victoria and Nick that he thinks Ashland died accidentally at Victoria’s house and Victor covered it up to protect both of them.

Victor tells Sally he is grateful that she has shown restraint about covering the Ashland Locke story and he hopes she will keep showing good judgement.

Victor is upset with Victoria because she told Nikki that he moved Ashland’s body because he didn’t want to make any Of them accessories to a crime.

Chance shares confidential information about the case with Abby because it involves her family. Chance then asks Abby what he should do and Abby tells him that he knows what he should do in his heart and she knows he will do the
right thing.

Adam offers Chance help in investigating Victor so he can find out the truth in Ashland’s death.

Spinelli persuades Maxie that he has feelings for Britt but, she doesn’t feel the same way about him.

Cody tells Britt’, Liesl and Scott that he is Dominique’s son that she gave up for adoption when she was younger to the ranch hands that worked for her family. Cody is angry that his half-sister spent her inheritance from their mother saving the whales.

Ava makes it clear to Nikolas that they will stay married but she won’t live with him at Wyndemere.

Drew offers to help Valentin but he doesn’t accept the offer. Valentin warns Drew to stay away from Victor because Victor could hurt the people that he loves.

Mariah asks Kyle to consider giving Tessa a job as a model for Marchetti while she recovers from her surgery. Kyle thinks that is a great idea, but he wants to talk to Summer before he offers Tessa, a job.

Billy warns Phyllis that if she has a plan against Diane she should let go of it because Adam may go to work for Jabir. Billy also thinks that Summer might be collateral damage if her plan doesn’t work.

Phyllis is offended because Nikki wants to know the next moves in her plan against Diane because Nikki doesn’t trust her.

Imani talks to Nate at Crimson Lights before her flight to Virginia later tonight. Nate tells Imani that Devon is treating him like someone who has no experience and is just out of college. Elena talks to Devon about Nate to see if she can help mend the rift between them. Elena also thinks Devon is treating Nate like a recent college graduate with no experience with a job.

Nikki tells Abby it, would be best if Chance dropped the investigation into Ashland’s death.

Victoria tells Nikki what Victor did to protect her and Nick, and Victor later confirms what Victoria told her. Victor denies that he had his security team move the body and stage the car crash, but Chance doesn’t believe him. Chance tells Victor that he will find the truth.

Jack asks Adam to work with him at Jabot and help him steer the ship so he can watch Harrison grow up. Adam, appreciates the job offer and tells Jack that he will think about it.

Brady noticed that Belle was working too hard. She said that DiMera Enterprises was a mess since Jake was murdered. He wondered if she was working like that because of the baby drama. She admitted it was hard to watch him give up the baby. She could tell Shawn was heartbroken. Brady wanted to know if they were getting back together. She didn’t answer him. She picked up her things and left. Li noticed that Gabi was pacing. She told him that she was concerned about Ava living in the DiMera mansion. She was afraid that she would turn on her. Li believed that Ava wouldn’t be dumb enough to blow the plan. He advised her to have Ava spy on EJ for her. He wanted her to go to bed with him. Ava arrived at the mansion. EJ let her know that he needed her to vote Gabi out of the company at the next meeting. She appreciated him giving her a place to stay, but she couldn’t promise that she would do that vote. She said Jake was on Gabi’s side and she wanted to honor his wishes. She told him that Gabi offered her a job. He understood, but he wanted her to think about it. EJ took her to Abby’s old room. She wasn’t thrilled about staying in there. He said that another beautiful woman wouldn’t be killed in there. He walked out of the room. Gabi called Ava. She warned Ava that she would expose her fake marriage if she stabbed her in the back. Ava asked her about the job. Gabi couldn’t promise her a seat on the board, but she would ask Li about it. They argued for a bit before they hung up.

EJ met with Belle at the mansion. She told him that she couldn’t find a record of Jake’s will. Ava walked in the room and wondered what happens to Jake’s shares. Belle said the spouse gets everything so she handed her a document transferring his stock to her. Ava signed it and Belle gave her the stock certificates. Kristen went to Rolf’s lab and noticed that Jake’s body was gone. Rolf told her that he performed the surgery on him and put him in the morgue. He told her that Stefan was recuperating. Rolf said that Jake’s heart was in Stefan. He said they wouldn’t know how successful the surgery was until he woke up. She wanted him to wake him up. He didn’t want to risk any complications. Kristen wasn’t sure if she should trust him. Rolf said he was doing it in Stefano’s name. He assured her that he would wake her up in an hour. She told him that she had to take care of something.

Victor talked to Alex about wanting Sonny’s job. Victor said he knew Alex was the one who took the company from Sonny. He knew it wasn’t Gabi. Alex said he did it to help out Sonny. He said he knew Sonny was going to be taken by the proposal. He said he bought the company to flip it back to Titan at the terms Sonny should have been offered in the beginning. Victor agreed not to say anything because no one would trust him if he knew. Alex said he would be his fixer. He said he would work under Sonny and report back to him. He said it was the arrangement he wanted in the first place. Lucas went to see Allie. She wanted to know what he was doing there. He said he was out on bail because the police didn’t have enough evidence against him to hold him for Abby’s murder. Allie wanted to know about kidnapping her mother. She wanted him to leave, but Chanel convinced her to talk to him. He said he wasn’t there to ask Allie to forgive him. He said he was there to tell her he didn’t kill Abby. Allie said she believed him, but she would never forgive him for kidnapping her mother. She said her eyes were open to who he really was. He wanted to know how he could make it up to her. She said she wanted him to show her that it was possible he could change. Johnny met with Paulina to discuss a plan for him to get Chanel back. Paulina said Chanel picked Allie. He wanted to find a way to get Chanel back. Paulina agreed to do it, but she didn’t want to hurt Allie. Chanel showed up and yelled at them for what they were planning to do.

Paulina went after Chanel. Chanel told her she couldn’t believe Paulina was plotting behind her back. Paulina said she was worried that Chanel didn’t make the right decision. Chanel was upset that it was about her picking a girl. Paulina said it wasn’t because of that. Chanel thought she wanted her to be in a traditional relationship. Paulina denied it at first, but admitted to it. Chanel said she could have all the things Paulina wanted her to have with Allie. Chanel said she didn’t want to lose her. Paulina said she wouldn’t lose her. Paulina went back to Johnny and told him Chanel was happy with Allie. Xander and Sarah went to Gwen’s motel room and searched her room. He found the mask in her suitcase. They heard keys and hid. Gwen came in and picked up the mask. She said she had to get rid of it. She left to get rid of it. Xander and Sarah came out of hiding. When Gwen went to the alley, she said the mask had to disappear since Sarah had an alibi. She threw the mask in the dumpster and left.

Chad was drunk at the Brady Pub. Sarah tried to call him, but he refused to answer the phone. He wanted another drink. Eric told him that he was cutting him off. Chad refused to leave until he got the drink he wanted. Sarah left a message for Chad when Sonny walked in the room. She told him that she remembered that she didn’t kill Abby. He was happy for her and was sure that Rex would testify for her. He thought she could put the situation behind her. She didn’t think the police would believe her. Sonny got a call from Eric about Chad. Xander arrived at the police to tell Rafe and Jada about Rex being Sarah’s alibi. He demanded they cross Sarah’s name off the suspect list. Jada couldn’t do that and told him about the evidence they have so far. Xander refused to accept that so Rafe agreed to talk to Rex. Jada warned him that Sarah wasn’t off the hook. Xander thought they were idiots and walked out. Rex didn’t approve of Jada telling so much about the case.

Sonny arrived at the pub to get Chad. He watched Chad crawl over the bar to get a drink. Sonny tried to stop him so Chad tried to punch him. He missed and fell to the floor. Sonny dragged him to the Kiriakis mansion. Chad wanted to get a drink. Sonny told him that Sarah had an alibi for Abby’s death. Chad started laughing. He thought it was strange that Clyde and Sarah had alibis. He wondered if Abby killed herself. He said it didn’t matter if the police found the killer because it wouldn’t bring Abby back to him. He told Sonny that he drank because the yelled at Thomas for wanting his mother. He didn’t want to be around his kids because he didn’t want to cause them any more pain. He said he was supposed to make things better for the kids. Chad felt like he was causing his kids more pain. Xander went back to his room and saw Sarah. He told her about what happened at the station. They talked about Lucas seeing her at the mansion. Xander reminded her that she couldn’t be in two places at once. She said she was before. They thought she could have killed Abby wearing a mask of her face. Xander couldn’t believe he was about to marry someone like her. He wanted to prove their suspicion. He wanted to search her room.

Chance told Victoria and Nick that he thought Ashland died at Victoria’s house and Victor covered it up. Nick and Victoria kept Victor’s secret. Nick worried about Victor and was angry that he took the law into his own hands. Victoria was angry Nick forced Victor to tell him the truth and that he then told her, making them accessories after the fact. Nikki noticed Victor seemed triumphant every time Ashland was brought up, like he took credit for Ashland’s demise. Victor was glad the family banned together to take Ashland down, but he wished Adam was part of the united family. Chance came to ask Victor about Ashland’s death. Jack talked to Traci about Diane. He wasn’t sure Diane changed, but he found it impressive that some people could change, since a lot of people couldn’t. Summer talked Kyle into hiring Phyllis as the head of the home fashion division at Marchetti. Kyle and Summer both warned their mothers that they were not to feud or scheme at work, or they’d be fired. Diane told Kyle that Phyllis took the job as part of a plot to sabotage her. Kyle told Diane he believed in her. Diane vented to Jack about Phyllis’s job, and he told her not to give in to her insecurities. Phyllis told Nikki that the plan to sabotage Diane was still on, despite Summer’s warning.

Lucy tells Maxie that in order to save Deception they have to get a new Face of Deception. Maxie doesn’t like the idea so she tells Lucy that she has to tell Sasha the news. Sasha tells Gladys that it felt good to finally stand up for herself an she would do it again.

Martin tells Brandon that the only way to keep Sasha out of jail is for him to become her conservator and he can make sure she gets the help she needs to get well.

Britt accepts another date with Cody after he gives her the invitation he made for her.

Spinelli can’t hide the truth from Britt anymore and tells her she can’t go on another date with Cody.

Dante tells Chase that chances are slim he will get his job back on the force. Linc tells Chase he has a promotional package ready for him and he has booked him at the Savoy and a famous club in New York. Brook Lynn tells Chase not to listen to Linc because they can write songs together and he can sing and record the songs. He can make more money. Dante wants Brook Lynn to tell him what he and Chase are doing because he knows they are trying to con Linc. Linc also tells Chase he knows Brook Lynn and he knows what she is trying to do.

Billy comes home early from his business trip and Victoria tells him what she knows about how Ashland died.

Nick talks to Sharon and tells her Victor admitted Ashland died after he punched him and he hit his head on the fireplace.

Kevin tells Chance that some of the security camera footage from the gas station close to Victoria’s house has been erased and Kevin also helps Chance go over the information they have right now to try and figure out what happened. Nick tells Victoria what Victor did and she thinks their father did the right thing.
