Days of Our Lives Update

Kristen is in the prison waiting room with an old photo of her, Brady, and Rachel. Megan Hathaway comes by from working in the mail room. Megan talks about how it keeps her connected to the outside world. Kristen doubts that there is anything for her but Megan reveals a letter that she says looks like it is from Rachel. Kristen demands the letter and grabs it from her. Kristen opens the letter. Megan asks what her niece has to say. Kristen reads the letter, saying she has the most amazing news that Brady and Chloe are definitely not getting back together and she knows for sure because she heard Brady tell John and Marlena that Chloe just moved in with Xander which excites Kristen.

Chloe and Xander rush in to the living room of their apartment after hearing glass break and believe someone is breaking in, but it turns out that a poster just fell off of the wall and broke.

John brings strawberries and cream to Marlena at home and they kiss.

In Athens, Greece, Kate tells Roman how much she missed him. Roman says no more looking back as they are here now together which he calls a miracle. Kate agrees and says even when she got away from Megan, she didn’t think she would make it out alive and back to Roman, but here she is, no thanks to Dimitri.

Harris questions Dimitri saying he’s holding another hostage. Harris argues that they searched every inch of the ship and only found him, Kate, and his henchmen so there’s nobody else here. Dimitri then asks who said anything about his hostage being on the ship. Harris argues that it doesn’t make any sense since Kate is all the leverage he needed and he could’ve ransomed her for a fortune. Dimitri remarks that it’s not always about money but he wouldn’t expect him to understand that. Dimitri says he was holding on to Kate until he had his ducks in a row and then right before they interrupted, he received the phone call that he was expecting. Harris asks who the mystery hostage is. Dimitri says all in due time, but for now he should be more worried about what he wants in exchange. Harris guesses he wants full immunity. Dimitri says that’s for starters, but he’s not stopping there.

Roman hopes Dimitri didn’t hurt Kate. Kate says it wasn’t pleasant being his guest, but it’s in the past and the more time he is in her mind, the more he wins. Kate asks about Bo since Steve said he’s in a coma. Roman confirms they are not sure when or if he will come out of it. Kate says she’s so sorry. Roman adds that Hope is moving Bo to a long term care facility. Kate asks how the family is handling that. Roman says they are doing their best and mentions that Kayla is back home in Salem while Ciara is on her way back home to Ben and their baby. Roman adds that he saw Shawn and he’s still a wreck because he blames himself. Roman notes that they all thought Bo was dangerous and there was a time that they thought Bo had shot and killed Kate. Roman asks how Kate got through to him. Kate says she reminded him of his family and Hope, but jokes that he didn’t snap out of it until she called him Megan’s lapdog. Roman acknowledges that Bo hated taking orders from anyone.

Kristen continues reading Rachel’s letter as she says that she hates seeing Brady so sad now that he broke up with Chloe because he’s really lonely, but she’s also glad that he’s not with Chloe anymore because she hates her which makes Kristen laugh.

John and Marlena kiss until Brady comes in. They tell him it’s okay as it’s his home too but Brady says not for much longer as he feels he and Rachel have imposed on them. Marlena insists that they love having them here. Brady says it will be a little longer since he hasn’t found a place yet but he has some leads. Marlena understands he feels he needs to do that but says they will miss having him around. Brady assures he won’t be far and notes that he actually thought he’d be across the street but Xander beat him to the perfect apartment and then he found out that Chloe is moving in with him, which shocks John and Marlena. Marlena tells Brady that she’s so sorry. John argues that Brady has pulled all the stops to try and fix things with Chloe, so he suggests that he try to forgive himself and move on. Brady responds that they are both trying, but he really hates the idea of Chloe moving in with Xander.

Xander questions why the poster would suddenly fall. Chloe blames Xander for not hanging it right. Xander argues that it was perfectly secure but then another picture falls off the wall. Chloe jokes about the irony but Xander says he’s not finding it funny and he’s starting to think the place might be haunted.

Brady tells John and Marlena that he can’t think of someone worse than Xander for Chloe to end up with. Marlena argues that it doesn’t mean she’s going to fall for him but Brady says it doesn’t mean she won’t either since not long ago, she couldn’t stand to look at Xander and now suddenly she is moving in with him. Brady adds that he can’t say Chloe is too smart to fall for him since Sarah did too. Brady remarks that Xander is not only a loser, but he’s dangerous too. John remembers Xander shooting Brady and Marlena. Brady doesn’t think Xander should get a pass just because they survived and points out that not everyone was as lucky.

Chloe questions Xander thinking the place is haunted or believing in ghosts. Xander says he’s from Scotland which he calls haunted as well. Chloe asks who he thinks is haunting him. Xander worries that it’s Susan Banks.

Megan tells Kristen to enjoy her night and continues on with the mail. Kristen continues reading the letter as Rachel says she would give more details but Brady changed the subject and they all started talking about Bo Brady instead. Megan then rushes back and asks what about Bo. Kristen thought she wasn’t interested but Megan demands to know what she said about Bo. Kristen reads that Rachel said everyone is upset because Hope had broken through to Bo and right when it looked like he was going to be his old self, Shawn shot him. Megan begins to panic.

Dimitri tells Harris that some people pray to the Lord to get what they want, but he hasn’t had much luck in that regard so he prefers to always be prepared. Dimitri informs Harris that he’s not the only one being persecuted by the powers to be, so he is not seeking one but two immunity grants, and warns that if he does not get them, his second hostage will soon have an appointment at the pearly gates.

Roman brings Kate back to their hotel room and says everyone was glad to see her. Kate jokes that Maggie might have been disappointed but Roman assures Maggie would never wish harm on anyone. Kate jokes about sleeping in a room that doesn’t smell like fish or make her sea sick. Roman acknowledges that she’s been to Hell and back, so she has a lot of pampering ahead of her and he’s not sure where to start. Roman suggests a bubble bath or a spa treatment. Kate says that Dimitri wanted to wine and dine her so he let her take a break and eat. Roman jokes that he’s running out of ideas if she doesn’t need to eat or the spa. Kate responds that she does have something important to ask of him. Kate then asks Roman to put her ring back on her finger.

Chloe asks Xander if he’s joking or if he actually thinks Susan Banks is haunting him. Xander reveals that he’s been expecting it for a while since he was responsible for Susan’s death. Chloe relates to feeling responsible for someone losing their life and never getting over it. Xander says she should get over it since El Fideo was a monster but Susan was sweet and died a horrible death that’s on him. Chloe says she’s not defending what he did but says at some point he has to move on with his life and learn from it. Xander says he’s been trying so hard to learn from his mistakes and not repeat them, but somehow, trouble always seems to find him or he finds it. Xander says he gets desperate for money and an opportunity arises, then he’s deep in something illegal that spirals out of control until something very bad happens like Susan Banks’ fiery death in the car crash. Chloe reminds him that Ava Vitali was behind the wheel. Xander complains that Susan wouldn’t have been in the car if he hadn’t kidnapped her or been weak and given in to Ava’s money. Xander adds that Susan would still be alive and he’d still be married to Sarah. Xander decides maybe the apartment isn’t haunted, but he is.

Marlena tells Brady that she would never condone Xander’s actions but points out that he wasn’t responsible for Susan’s death as it was Ava that drove her off the cliff. Brady argues that Xander started the whole series of events by kidnapping Susan in the first place. Brady calls that just the latest in his long list of crimes, bringing up how Xander switched Rachel at birth and complains that he never takes responsibility for these things. John remarks that Xander has that in common with his uncle Victor. Brady says he keeps thinking about Chloe being under the same roof as Xander and worries about when his next scheme is going to be and how he’s going to drag Chloe in to it. Brady complains that it’s all Xander does and declares that he belongs in prison.

Megan cries that this is an evil twist of fate as she’s in prison and asks how Bo is. Kristen informs her that Bo is in a coma and tries to encourage that it’s good news. Kristen talks about how she’s recovered from comas. Megan talks about everything she went through to save Bo and keeping him alive for all those years. Megan breaks down crying as Kristen tries to tell her it’s okay. Megan cries that Bo would have loved her again and she was so close. Kristen points out that all they have is a second hand account from a child eavesdropping and the mail takes forever, so maybe Bo is alright now. Megan argues that Bo is the whole reason that she came up with a plan to get herself out of here in the first place. Kristen asks if she means get them out then asks where they stand.

Harris tells Dimitri that he’s had enough of the games and questions who he’s trying to help with this co-immunity deal. Dimitri questions Harris not figuring it out after all the clues and says he certainly knows her well. Dimitri reveals that it’s Megan Hathaway.

Brady apologizes to Marlena and John for interrupting their romantic moment and then putting all his baggage on them. John assures they are always here to listen. Brady says he’s done and he’s going to think about the good things he has in his life. Brady says they are at the top of his list. Marlena says they love him. Brady thanks them for always being there for him. They say goodnight as Brady heads to his room. John tells Marlena that when it comes to love, Brady has had nothing but bad luck. Marlena hopes that Kristen doesn’t find out that Chloe is out of the picture or else she’ll break out of jail and be right back in Brady’s orbit.

Megan complains that the love of her life is in a coma and Kristen can only think about herself. Kristen points out that Megan is the one who brought up her mystery plan. Megan says it’s not a mystery to her. Kristen asks what the plan is then, reminding her that she kept up her end of not telling anyone about Bo. Megan asks who cares since she ended up blabbing it herself to Andrew Donovan anyway. Kristen shouts that’s not her problem and complains that Megan promised her freedom. Megan assures that she will have it as her plan is very much in the works and they simply needed to get things organized and sorted out. Kristen questions who is getting things organized and sorted out. Kristen demands to know right now who she has on the outside. Megan asks why that matters. Kristen says she needs to know that it’s real. Megan reveals that it’s Dimitri Von Leuschner. Kristen recalls him as the guy who tried to blow up the world with the Alamanian Peacock.

Dimitri reminds Harris that he was doing Megan’s bidding while Harris argues that he was brainwashed. Dimitri calls that a convenient excuse for killing people in pursuit of the prisms. Harris says he’s ashamed of what he did. Dimitri brings up Harris hesitating when he had Hope in his crosshairs or if true love reared it’s head. Harris calls that a sore subject. Dimitri remarks that Harris has terrible taste in women. Harris states that Megan is in prison and that’s where she is staying. Dimitri asks if he’s so sure about that. Dimitri warns that he might not have Kate to get what he wants, but he still has another ace up his sleeve.

Roman questions Kate taking her rings off. Kate explains that she was desperate and made a deal with one of Dimitri’s henchmen to give her rings for a phone call to Roman, but the call didn’t go through. Kate adds that when Chad and the others rescued her, she was not leaving the boat without her rings. Roman is surprised she carried the rings around the whole time. Kate says she was going to put them back on but she stopped because Roman put them on first, so she wanted him to do it again for the last time. Roman says it would be his honor. Roman puts the rings on her finger and kisses her.

Chloe brings Xander tea and hopes it will help him get back to sleep. Xander thanks her and apologizes if he freaked her out earlier. Xander decides Chloe was right that he just didn’t hang the pictures right and he nor the apartment are being haunted by the ghost of Susan Banks. Chloe is glad he’s calmed down but she’s sorry that he’s so tortured by what happened to Susan. Xander thanks her and hopes she doesn’t regret sharing the place with him. Chloe jokes that she can relate to him. They get close but Chloe says they shouldn’t make a habit of ending up like this in the middle of the night together. They each say they need to get to their beds but they end up leaning in close.

Kate tells Roman that she has a suggestion of what they can do in the hotel room as she then kisses him.

John and Marlena kiss until John’s phone rings with a call from his son Paul. John wonders why he’s calling so late as he answers the call.

Kristen tells Megan that she met Dimitri once in Amsterdam and he was under another name while fooling Billie. Megan brings up Kristen losing a sapphire necklace and tells her that Dimitri told her everything. Kristen questions what exactly her connection is to Dimitri. Kristen asks if Dimitri filled in when Megan couldn’t get Bo to love her. Megan remarks that she has no idea what she’s talking about and calls her so judgmental. Megan then reveals that Dimitri is Kristen’s nephew!

Harris tells Dimitri that he’s going to need a whole deck of aces if he wants immunity for he and Megan and that still might not be enough. Harris brings up Dimitri threatening the world in Zurick and calls it a deranged plan. Harris adds that Megan is the only person that he knows that’s more deranged than he is, so the ISA will never let either of them walk out. Dimitri assures that the ISA won’t stand in his way as they will insist that he is granted his freedom.

Chloe and Xander almost kiss but back away. Chloe hopes the tea helped and Xander thanks her for that. Xander apologizes for the nonsense about the pictures falling. They tell each other to have a good night and they head to their rooms.

Roman and Kate lay in bed together. Roman comments that he assumed he would never see her rings again as he assumed they were in the urn with her ashes. Kate asks what he did with the urn of ashes. Roman explains that he had it on the end of the bar at the Pub because it made him feel close to her. Kate compares it to Anna DiMera. Roman says he wasn’t carrying it all around town. Kate asks if he was talking to the ashes. Roman says the weird part is, Kate talked to him too and says he heard her voice, asking him to help her. Roman asks if she thinks he’s crazy. Kate admits it sounds weird, but it seems somewhat familiar as if she was reaching out to him while Megan had them on the deep freeze. Kate wonders if that’s possible. Roman says he will never deny their connection and all that matters is that she’s here in his arms for real. Kate says it doesn’t seem real and seems like a dream. Roman says if it is a dream, he never wants to wake up as they continue kissing.

Harris tells Dimitri to keep dreaming and questions why the ISA would want him to be free. Dimitri says because Shane Donovan runs the organization and assures that Shane will be very eager to give him what he wants. Dimitri declares that Shane will personally see to it that he and Megan are both set free.

Kristen doesn’t understand calling Dimitri her nephew. Megan then reveals that Dimitri is her son.

John thanks Paul for calling and says he’s on top of it and will keep him posted as they hang up. Marlena asks what’s going on as he sounds worried. John informs her that Paul wants him to reach out to Shane because Andrew Donovan is missing and apparently no one has heard from him for quite some time…

Harris questions why the hell Shane Donovan would give Dimitri what he wants. Dimitri responds that he won’t have a choice if he ever wants to see his offspring again. Harris then realizes that Dimitri’s mystery hostage is Shane’s son, Andrew.

Andrew is tied up and blindfolded somewhere in a dark room.

Days of Our Lives Update

After Maggie fires Alex over the phone, Alex asks for a chance to explain but she hangs up on him. Alex informs Stephanie that Maggie told him there was nothing more to talk about and reveals that she fired him which shocks her.

Kayla and Belle eat together at the Brady Pub. They talk about Seth Burns trying to fire Kayla while she was held captive. Kayla feels he was disappointed that she wasn’t dead after all. Belle mentions not hearing from Steve yet. Kayla assures that she won’t hear from Steve until he and Chad find Kate.

The guard on the ship holds his gun on Steve and warns that the penalty for boarding the ship without permission is death.

Harris searches the ship with his gun raised but is caught by one of the guards, who pulls his gun and warns that Harris is going to end up hanging on the wall.

Kate asks if Dimitri doesn’t want immunity for his crimes. Dimitri assures that he does but he also wants something else and he needs everything in place in order for him to achieve his goal. Kate hopes he’s not going after the Peacock again. Dimitri says no and what he’s after is much more personal. Chad then bursts in with his gun raised on Dimitri, surprising Kate. Chad says thank God she’s alright. Kate tries to run to Chad but Dimitri grabs her and holds her at gunpoint. Dimitri warns Chad that this is premature because he and Kate are on a date and Chad’s not invited. Chad tells Dimitri that he’s not going anywhere. Dimitri doesn’t think Chad thought this through and questions how Chad’s going to shoot him without shooting Kate, remarking that he doesn’t think Chad is that good of a shot. Dimitri calls Chad another one of Stefano’s bastard children, commenting that he has Stefano’s arrogance but not his cunning. Dimitri states that Chad overplayed his hand by bursting in with his pistol. Dimitri warns that now neither Kate or Chad are getting off the boat alive.

Harris asks the guard if they can talk about this. He says he can talk to the boss and orders Harris to drop his gun and start walking. Harris drops the gun but then fights the guard off and beats him down.

Steve calls the guard kind of dumb while the guard warns that Steve will be kind of dead. Steve asks if he thinks he just randomly got on the boat. Steve explains that the boat is part of a global search from the ISA, Interpol, and the FBI so they all know where he is which means he has no chance of getting away. The guard responds that Steve has no chance of staying alive. Steve warns him that if he kills an ISA agent, the entire agency will be devoted to making him pay and putting him in the deepest, darkest hole. Steve adds that if he kills him, the ISA will hurt him so bad that he will be begging them to kill him.

Stephanie tells Alex that she loves Maggie, but she should’ve given him a chance to explain. Alex asks why since she was right that he blew the deal. Stephanie disagrees and argues that Yuri just got cold feet which could only be temporary since he said he was going to sleep on it. Alex says Stephanie didn’t hear Maggie’s voice and that she wasn’t angry, just sad. Alex adds that she doesn’t know what Maggie has put up with from him. Alex talks about moving in to Maggie’s home and treating like a frat house, being arrogant and rude but Maggie always saw the good in everybody when he made it damn near impossible. Alex says that what Maggie thinks of him is one of the main reasons he’s trying to change, so it kills him to let her down. Stephanie doesn’t think that he did and encourages that he was doing everything he could to save the deal. Alex says he begged Maggie to put him in charge and as soon as she did, he disobeyed her orders. Stephanie argues that he was blinded by Yuri’s misgivings and was trying to make the best of it. Stephanie declares that she got Seth Burns to unfire Kayla, so she’s going to call Maggie now and work the same magic with her. Stephanie takes her phone and walks away to make the call.

Kayla tells Belle that she would think after all these years, she’d be used to not hearing from Steve. Belle suggests trying to call Harris Michaels but Kayla thinks he would be just as impossible to get a hold of. Belle asks how Roman is. Kayla says his façade doesn’t crack but he’s been through so much from scattering Kate’s ashes in Ireland to finding out that she’s alive but in danger and then finding out that Bo is alive, but he’s not the Bo they remember and now Bo is in a coma. Belle tells Kayla that she’s really worried about Shawn. Kayla assures that Shawn did what he had to do as he thought Bo was going to shoot Hope. Belle worries that if Bo doesn’t make it, Shawn will blame himself for the rest of his life for killing his own dad.

Shawn throws things in frustration in the hospital waiting room until Roman walks in and asks what’s going on. Shawn tells him that there’s no change with Bo as he’s still in a coma and nothing indicates that he’s ever going to come out of it. Roman encourages him to keep the faith. Shawn complains that it won’t change anything as he shot his father. Roman tells Shawn that Hope needs him. Roman suggests they take a walk and get some air but Shawn says that won’t change anything either. Shawn declares that Victor was right that this is his fault.

Chad tells Dimitri that they are at a standoff. Chad decides to put his gun down and asks how to resolve this. Dimitri responds that he just did by putting his gun down and now he shoots him. Chad points out that Dimitri wouldn’t profit much from that and asks if he has any idea how much the other DiMeras would pay for his safe return. Dimitri admits that’s something to consider but decides he’d still like to kill them both.

The guard tells Steve that he will take his chances with the ISA and raises his gun towards him.

Chad hears the gunshot and tells Dimitri that he wasn’t stupid enough to come alone as he has a host of ISA agents, a Black Patch investigator, and a Navy SEAL. Dimitri guesses that’s Steve and Harris as he reveals that they have been expecting them which is why everyone on the ship is armed and has standing orders to shoot to kill.

Harris fired the shot that took out the guard to save Steve. Steve argues that he had the situation under control. Steve questions if Harris had to fire his weapon and let everyone on board know that they are here. Harris comments on Steve not thanking him for saving his ass. Steve then begrudgingly thanks him and they continue to search for Kate.

Stephanie finishes her call and returns to Alex. She informs him that she talked to Maggie and told her that she was in the room for the meeting but Maggie said that if she didn’t keep Alex in line, then Titan might be in the market for a new PR firm. Alex can’t believe she called to talk Maggie out of firing him and she instead threatened to fire her. Stephanie assures that she’ll be fine but she’s so sorry as she doesn’t think Maggie is going to give him his job back any time soon since she seemed pretty upset. Stephanie adds that there must be something else they can do. Alex responds that they can get drunk.

Belle tells Kayla that nobody blames Shawn given all the things Bo had done and of course he was justified in thinking Hope was going to be next, but Shawn doesn’t see it that way and there’s no reasoning with him. Belle adds that Shawn just sounds so bleak. Kayla encourages that she’s been there many times and they have to hold on to the fact that Hope and Roman are there for him and they will see him through this. Kayla assures that Hope will never lose track of Shawn, so they just have to hang in there as they have no choice.

Roman questions Shawn about Victor blaming him for trying to save his mother’s life. Roman asks who the hell he is to pass judgment. Roman declares that he’s going to rip Victor a new one but Shawn stops him and says it’s bad enough in there as they can barely keep it together as it is. Roman complains that he can’t get away with this while Shawn argues that all he did was tell the truth since he is the one who shot Bo. Roman argues that he thought his dad was going to kill his mom. Shawn says that he was wrong and it’s not like he just shot Bo in the leg to disarm him or something. Shawn complains that Bo is lying in that bed and may never come out of it as Roman hugs him. Shawn talks about how he’s missed his father so much and he’s a good man. Roman points out that he kidnapped Kayla and they thought he killed Kate. Shawn responds that he didn’t and that proves he made the wrong call.

Harris and Steve continue searching the ship and come across the first guard that Harris took out. Harris remarks that it’s been a busy night.

Dimitri remarks that he’s sure Chad and Kate have spots in the DiMera Crypt but they are going to have to settle for burial at sea. Harris and Steve then burst in with their guns. Dimitri remarks that the calvary has finally arrived but he still has a gun pointed at Kate. Harris and Steve rush Dimitri and overpower him while Kate rushes to safety with Chad. Chad hugs Kate, thanking God that she’s okay. Kate thanks him for that. Harris says he will call the coast guard to come pick up Dimitri. Kate questions who he is. Chad introduces her to Commander Michaels. Kate greets him and praises his timing. Kate greets Steve and asks how things are. Steve says things are getting better for the both of them. Harris decides he will stay and babysit Dimitri while Chad and Steve get Kate back to the mainland as he’s sure she can’t wait to get off the boat. Kate says she won’t argue with that and calls for drinks on her as soon as they are on dry land.

Alex tells Stephanie that he doesn’t think he likes becoming a better person and he may be ready to backslide already. Alex says he just feels bad about everything, that Maggie and Victor don’t trust him, that he’s letting Maggie down, and that she has to worry about taking care of Titan and Victor. Alex declares that he feels bad that Stephanie is in trouble with Maggie now too and he just hates feeling bad. Alex argues that things were so much more simple when he was just shallow and self-absorbed as he was so good at it until he met her. Alex jokes that Stephanie really screwed him up. Alex adds that one thing he’s working on with Marlena is giving up meaningless sex, but before he met Stephanie, he didn’t know he was having meaningless sex as he thought it was great, not meaningless, but then he saw how Stephanie looked at him and started looking at himself the same way. Alex remarks that it’s not her fault that she’s out of his league but for a moment, he really thought he had a shot with her and then he blew it like he blows everything.

Chad, Steve, and Kate prepare to leave the ship. Kate declares that she cannot leave until she finds her wedding ring. Chad argues that they need to get out of here while Kate insists that won’t leave the ring because Roman gave it to her. Steve notes that he knows where to find the guy who took it so they head there.

Belle informs Kayla that EJ offered her the DiMera Jet to take to Greece but she said no because she’s working a case, but maybe she could get it postponed. Belle worries that even if she went, that Shawn would keep her a million miles away even if she was by his side. Kayla relates to feeling helpless with her brothers. Kayla encourages that Shawn just needs time to heal and then he will open up to her and he will need her so much.

Shawn asks Roman if there’s any news on Kate. Roman informs him that Steve and Chad are trying to track her down along with Harris Michaels. Roman remains unsure about Harris. Shawn points out that Harris did save Chad and Stephanie from Thomas Banks. Shawn wishes there was more he could do but doesn’t think he’d be of much help. Roman encourages that Shawn’s place is here with his parents. Roman adds that when Bo wakes up, he’s going to tell him that he made an impossible choice to protect someone he loves and that’s exactly what Bo would have done. Roman asks if Shawn thinks he can go back in to see Bo, which he agrees to do. Shawn tells Roman that he hopes they find Kate soon as he then exits.

Steve brings Kate and Chad to where the guard was. The guard emerges with a second gun and pulls it on them.

Dimitri asks Harris if he thinks he has finally redeemed himself and if he assumes that his heroics act tonight have somehow atoned for all of his sins. Harris remarks that he knew they should’ve gagged him. Dimitri questions if one tiny good deed outweighs all of the bad. Dimitri asks if that’s why Harris wanted to stay behind and personally hand him to the ISA. Harris responds that maybe he just wanted to see the look on his face when they drag him kicking and screaming to one of those black sites. Dimitri asks if he really thinks that will happen.

Belle notes that it’s getting late while Kayla suggests she give Shawn a call so that he knows she’s thinking of him. Belle agrees to do so and thanks Kayla for listening as they hug. Belle adds that she will pray for Steve and Chad to bring Kate home safe.

Alex assures Stephanie that he knows that she is with Chad now and he respects that while noting that he still hates it. Alex admits there are times that it’s hard to see the point in changing when you don’t get what you want. Alex remarks that he was a great stud but a D- nice guy. Stephanie encourages that therapy and trying to change takes a lot of courage. Stephanie says it’s been a bad day but it’s just one day and the stuff with Maggie was just a temporary setback. Stephanie goes over how many CEOs that Victor has gone through and at the end of the day, it’s just a job. Stephanie calls therapy a very big deal and encourages Alex not to give up after just one bad day. Stephanie adds that he’s only just started and she already thinks this version of him is way better. Alex offers her another drink which she accepts. Stephanie heads to the ladies room first while Alex says he will order some appetizers as he’s getting hungry. Stephanie leaves her phone behind on the bar and it rings with a call from Chad. Alex answers the call and asks Chad what’s up. Chad then questions why Alex is answering Stephanie’s phone.

Steve returns to the hospital waiting room with his arm in a sling. Roman questions what he’s doing here, points out that he’s hurt and asks about what happened with Kate. Kate then enters the room and reveals they found her as she and Roman embrace.

Belle stands outside the Pub and decides to call Shawn, who is having a drink at the hotel in Greece. Shawn sees the call but ignores it. Belle leaves a message, saying she just wanted to tell him that she was thinking of him and to call whenever as she loves him.

Alex informs Chad that Stephanie is in the ladies room and he knew she wouldn’t want to miss his call, so he picked it up. Chad thanks him. Alex explains that they had a client meeting at the Bistro and are just finishing up, but notes that Stephanie is really worried about him and asks if everything is okay over there. Stephanie comes back from the ladies room so Alex hands her the phone and tells her that it’s Chad and that he only picked up because he knew she wouldn’t want to miss it. Stephanie takes the phone and asks if Chad is alright. He says he’s fine. Stephanie tells Alex to just call her tomorrow. Alex says he will and thanks her for being in his corner tonight as he then exits. Chad questions Stephanie having drinks with Alex. Stephanie calls it Titan business and asks Chad if he has any news about what’s going on. Chad informs her that he, Steve, and Harris found Kate and everything is fine. Stephanie calls that wonderful. Chad says the best thing is that Kate is still herself and says he’ll tell her the whole story when he gets back. Chad encourages Stephanie that Steve is fine and he’s going to call her when he gets done but reveals that he got shot. Chad promises that he’s fine as the bullet just grazed him and the hospital already released him. Stephanie says she believes him and asks if this means they are all coming home now. Chad is not sure about everyone else but assures that he’s on the first flight back to Salem.

Steve calls Kayla and informs her that he got shot, but promises that it’s just a scratch and that it was worth it to see the look on Roman’s face when he saw Kate. Kayla asks if Kate is okay. Steve says she’s better than okay since she’s with Roman now.

Kate finishes a call with her son Austin, assuring that she is fine and will call everyone else in the morning. Kate says she loves him and hangs up. Kate tells Roman that Austin will tell everyone else for her and says to tell Roman that he’s happy for him. Roman asks if she’s sure she is fine. Kate confirms that the doctor just said she needs rest. Kate talks about not being afraid of Megan or Dimitri the whole time, but she was terrified of losing Roman. Roman says she’ll never have to worry about that because he is never going to let her out of his sight again.

Harris tells Dimitri that the ISA is going to dump his ass in a black hole where no one has to see or hear from him ever again. Harris adds that Dimitri lost his leverage when Steve and Chad took Kate home as a hostage situation only works when there actually is a hostage. Dimitri then reveals that Kate was not his only hostage…

John goes to Marlena’s office and tells her that he knows her schedule is jam packed but he just wanted to see if she needed anything. Marlena informs him that she’s actually just about to leave. John is surprised she doesn’t have any more appointments. Marlena informs him that her last patient just left for an important business meeting…

Alex sits at the Bistro while on the phone with Maggie. Maggie tells him the flight was long and Victor is in with Bo now, but there’s no change in his condition yet. Alex assures that he has everything under control and he is waiting for his meeting with Yuri as they speak. Alex states that by the time the check comes, the tech company will officially be in business with Titan. Maggie reminds him that the deal is all laid out, so all he has to do is close it. Alex declares that getting Yuri to sign the contract is his only job. Alex adds that he even recruited someone to help make sure he keeps his focus, as Stephanie then arrives.

In Greece, Steve and Harris meet with Chad to inform him that they found a small motorboat that they think Kate must have used to escape the island. Chad asks about Kate. Harris says they searched everything but unfortunately there were no signs of life. Chad asks what that means. Steve reveals that the coast guard believes there is no way Kate survived.

Kate continues cutting fish on the boat until the guard comes in and informs her that the captain wants to see her. Kate asks why. He tells her no questions and holds his gun on her so she tells him to lead the way.

Chad doesn’t care what the coast guard says. Steve and Harris assure that they are not giving up as they promised Roman that they would find his wife. Steve says there was no body found, so as far as he’s concerned, Kate is still alive. Chad asks what their next move is. Harris explains that they think Kate could have been picked up by a passing ship so they can check for a location and figure out who picked her up. Chad says that makes sense but thinks Kate would have tried to reach out to them if she boarded a ship.

Kate is brought to see Dimitri and asks what he wants with her. Kate asks if he called Roman for the ransom but Dimitri says not yet. Kate questions why the hell he summoned her then. Dimitri says she’s been working so hard that he thought she could use a break. Dimitri invites Kate to join him for a late supper. Kate tells him to take his invitation and shove it up his ass.

Alex thanks Stephanie for coming as she joins him and asks how he’s feeling. Alex admits he’s nervous but played it cool with Maggie. Stephanie assures that he’s totally prepared. Alex worries that he’s never closed a deal this big before and Maggie made it clear that it’s his last chance to prove himself so he can’t mess this up. Stephanie says that’s why she’s there to keep him on track and assures that he’s got this. Yuri arrives and meets Alex and Stephanie. Yuri mentions being unaware that Stephanie was coming and asks if there’s an image problem that he’s not aware of. Alex says not at all and it’s just a very big deal for them so they wanted to have all hands on deck. Yuri asks where Maggie is. Alex questions him not getting his e-mail that Maggie had a family emergency. Yuri suggests they should reschedule but Alex assures he is fully prepared. Yuri notes that he’s used to only dealing with the top dog. Alex explains that Maggie felt he might be comfortable with him just carrying the ball pass the goal line. Alex presents Yuri the deal to sign but Yuri says he would actually like to speak with him about a few things.

John tells Marlena that he still can’t believe she’s back to work after all she’s been through. John asks how many patients she has treated over the years. Marlena says she’s never thought about it. John talks about how she started as a psychiatrist in 1976 so he thought if she took her average case load and multiplied it by how many years she’s been at it, it would be about 5000 patients. John declares that needs to be celebrated and that’s exactly what they are going to do.

John and Marlena go to the Brady Pub. John asks what to order to celebrate Marlena reaching 5000 patients. Marlena laughs that it’s nowhere near that but admits she’s never tried to count. John is sure she’s reflected on when she first started. Marlena admits she has from time to time. John asks what stands out the most. Marlena suggests her very first patient, Mickey Horton. Marlena calls it a tough case but a lovely man and says they developed a very dear friendship as she flashes back to when they first met. John asks if she’s okay. Marlena says she was just thinking back to when she first came to Salem. John is sure things were a bit different back then. Marlena confirms that they were, but what makes Salem so special is all of the people that live here which is what made it so comfortable to develop her practice. John tells her it’s not too late to go some place a little fancier for their celebration like the Bistro but Marlena says no. Marlena mentions that her client is having his business meeting at the Bistro, so she doesn’t want to show up and throw him off his game.

Alex asks what Yuri wants to discuss. Yuri says he’s all about optionality with more avenues to create buy in. Yuri adds that according to the deal, the expansion plan is kind of weak, safe, and conservative. Yuri says he came to play and it’s go big or go home. Alex says that their analysts have done a lot of research and it seemed like the optimal amount of growth for everyone. Yuri doesn’t care about research and says his gut says that they need to be aggressive. Alex explains that Maggie believes in having more patience. Yuri remarks that Maggie seems a little bit out of touch and asks how old she is. Stephanie questions why that is relevant. Yuri says it’s very relevant and promises it’s not about women. Yuri declares that he goes fast and Maggie won’t be able to keep up with him. Alex insists that Maggie can keep up and is a very shrewd business woman, especially for being so new to the business. Yuri questions Maggie being new to the business and says that she is the CEO, so he assumed that she had a lot of experience. Alex then says that Maggie did run a lot of successful restaurants that flourished under her excellent leadership and guidance. Yuri is glad he clued him on that but he didn’t realize he was about to make a billion dollar deal with a total newbie…

Roman joins Maggie in Greece and hugs her, saying he’s so glad she’s there and asks how she is. Maggie says she’s still wrapping her head around Bo being alive. Roman says there has unfortunately been no progress since Bo squeezed Hope’s hand, so they are making plans to move Bo to a long term care facility. Roman hopes he wakes up before it comes to that but it doesn’t look good. Maggie encourages Roman not to give up as Bo is so strong and so is Kate.

Harris finds out there is only one sea line that passes where they found Kate’s boat, so only a handful of ships have been in that area. Harris pulls up the live radar. Steve points out a cargo ship that doesn’t seem to be moving. Harris finds out it’s been anchored off the coast for several weeks. Steve notes that it’s not docked and is just hanging out in the water. Harris looks up more information and it says the only other ship is Dimitri Von Leuschner.

Dimitri remarks to Kate that he sees where her daughter Billie gets her spunk. Kate asks what he’s going to and if he’s going to poison her food. Dimitri asks why he would do that when he needs her alive to get what he wants. Kate argues that he hasn’t called for a ransom and won’t share his end game, so she questions why she’s here. Dimitri suggests she would make company and he thought she would missing the finer things in life like wine and lobster. Kate then decides to accept but Dimtiri says she can’t have dinner looking like this. Dimitri offers her his private bathroom to shower and change. Kate asks if he thinks she’s going to put out. Dimitri remarks that he’s well aware that her days as an escort are behind her and he would just prefer that his dining companion smell a bit less fishy. Kate rolls her eyes and then goes to change.

Chad can’t believe it’s Dimitri Von Leuschner and informs Harris and Steve that he met him a few years ago in Phoenix. Chad calls Dimitri like a James Bond villain and mentions that he tried to steal the Alamanian Peacock which was a statue that could vaporize an entire city. Chad calls it a long story but points out that Kate’s daughter Billie was the one who took him down, so he wonders if Dimitri found Kate and took her hostage to get back at the woman who screwed him over. Harris says that would explain why Kate hasn’t reached out. Steve thought Dimitri was locked up. Harris decides they better find out.

John tells Marlena that she’s had an incredible career with all the people she’s helped and lives she’s touched. John jokes that it’s been 5000 but Marlena insists it hasn’t been that many. John counts all the listeners that called in to her radio show. John admits maybe the numbers don’t work out like that, but she has literally talked people off the ledge. Marlena flashes back to talking her client Matt off of a ledge until she ended up falling off the ledge herself. John points out that she almost died while helping Matt. Marlena says she would do it again but admits that’s easy to say now that they both survived. John states that Marlena has always put her patients first because that’s just who she is.

Stephanie tells Yuri that Alex didn’t mean to make him think that Maggie isn’t qualified and assures that she is savvy and respected by her peers. Yuri mocks that and calls this off brand for him, arguing that he needs a CEO who is in it. Alex declares that Yuri is right that maybe Maggie isn’t completely in touch, but assures that what she outlined in the deal is rock solid. Alex adds that maybe Maggie doesn’t fully appreciate the tech space, but he does. Alex understands that Yuri wants to revolutionize and inspire. Alex declares that they can get there and urges Yuri to sign the contract and then they can tweak a few things. Stephanie isn’t sure about that and thinks they should stick to the original terms. Yuri thinks Stephanie should listen to Alex and says that Alex totally gets that they need to change things up. Yuri comments that he needs an energy boost. Alex offers to order a round of drinks but Yuri says he needs something stronger and heads to the bathroom. Stephanie then asks Alex what the hell he’s doing.

Maggie asks Roman if he’s getting any sleep at all. Roman says not much as he’s trying to spend as much time with Bo as he can and he also wants to help with the search for Kate. Maggie insists that now that Steve is on the case, it’s only a matter of time before Kate is found. Roman comments that Steve and Chad have been on it non stop along with Harris Michaels. Maggie recalls Harris as the man who was brainwashed by Megan Hathaway. Roman informs her that Chad and Andrew are convinced that Harris is fully deprogrammed while he and Steve remain unsure, but at this point they can use all the help they can get.

Steve finishes a call while Chad says that Andrew is not picking up. Steve says he just talked to Frankie and last he heard, his cousin Dimitri was still behind bars. Harris then reveals that’s what Dimitri wants them to believe but it’s not true. Harris explains that he just spoke to Sebastian Alamain, who had a guard check on Dimitri’s cell and found an impostor in his place. Chad questions how long ago Dimitri escaped. Harris says the impostor isn’t talking which means Dimitri could be on the cargo ship and could be holding Kate hostage.

Kate gets dressed and Dimitri tells her that she looks stunning as they sit down with glasses of wine.

Chad still can’t get ahold of Andrew and wonders if they should reach out to the coast guard to get a hold of the ship. Steve doesn’t like the idea of giving Dimitri a heads up and says it’s better to take him by surprise which Harris agrees with. Steve hands Harris a gun and pulls one out for himself. Chad asks where his is but Harris says Chad is staying here because he’s a civilian. Chad disagrees but Steve says he’s with Harris on this one. Chad argues that Kate’s like a mother to him so he’s not staying here. Steve argues that Chad is also a father to two young children. Chad insists that he can handle himself. Chad adds that he had a front row seat to Dimitri’s last scheme so he knows how he works and maybe he can pick up on a few things that they can’t and make sure nobody gets hurt or that Dimitri doesn’t slip away. Steve admits that Chad has a point and hands him a gun.

Dimitri comments on Kate cleaning up nicely. Kate asks where the lobster is. Dimitri relates to inhaling his first meal after prison. Kate points out that he never explained how he got out of prison. Dimitri responds that even behind bars, he has plenty of resources and eventually he traded places with a sorry sap who agreed to impersonate him. Kate feels that sounds risky. Dimitri says not at all and laughs that it was surprisingly easy while now, nobody even knows he’s gone.

Roman tells Maggie that he doesn’t get where Kate has been all this time and why she hasn’t contacted anyone if she’s still alive. Roman worries that’s not a good sign. Maggie encourages that Kate has overcome every obstacle in her life, so this time is no different. Roman appreciates her saying that and notes that Maggie is pretty tough herself. Roman mentions hearing that she’s kicking butt at Titan. Maggie admits she’s enjoying the challenge. Roman guesses it must have been tricky to drop everything and fly to Greece with Victor. Maggie explains that Victor tried to talk her in to staying behind but there was no way, so she had to leave Alex in charge and she hopes that wasn’t a mistake.

Stephanie reminds Alex that Maggie told him to stick to the original deal. Alex says he knows that but argues that he had to do something or Yuri was going to walk out of the deal. Stephanie feels that Alex was undermining Maggie. Alex calls that an accident and says he was trying to make up for it. Stephanie argues that Alex is not authorized to change the terms. Alex says he knows, but all that matters is that the obnoxious jerk signs with Titan and he’s going to get it done. Stephanie reminds him that he hired her to help him stay on course but right now, he’s drifting way out in to uncharted waters so he needs to turn around. Alex argues that they will lose him. Stephanie disagrees and says Alex was excited about the original deal. Alex points out that he’s not excited now and is ready to walk. Stephanie thinks he’s just getting cold feet, so Alex needs to reassure him and sell him on Maggie’s vision by being confident in it. Stephanie insists that Yuri would be lucky to be in business with Titan. Stephanie instructs Alex to stand firm and not give in.

John tells Marlena that helping Matt off the ledge wasn’t the only time her job became hazardous to her health. John brings up Roger Lombard, who Marlena remembers as the drunk driver who hit Kimberly. John adds that he wasn’t even the most dangerous member of his family as that was Stella, who thought Marlena was having an affair with her husband. They recall Stella throwing her in a pit and John jumping in to rescue her, which rekindled their love which they flashback to. John comments that he’d still be in the dark if not for her and he thanks God every day that he met her. John talks about the influence she had over the years on patients she never gave up on and calls her a real miracle worker. John brings up Marlena rehabbing a serial killer and Ben overcame his demons to become a real stand up guy thanks to her. Marlena says that Ben did all the hard work and she’s just proud of the man he has become. Marlena thinks back to counseling Ben. Marlena mentions hearing from Ben and that he’s over the moon to be becoming a father again. John says there is no question that Marlena deserves a little bit of credit for that happiness.

Yuri returns to the table and says he needed to clear his head. Alex says that while he was gone, he looked over the original contract and says the terms are pretty awesome so he thinks they should stick with it. Yuri says Alex got him pumped up for something more in your face. Alex argues that’s not always the best approach and he promises that taking Maggie’s approach and having patience will pay off in the long run. Yuri decides to go back to the Salem Inn and sleep on it. Alex thinks they need to lock it in tonight and celebrate. Yuri tells Alex that he made him realize that he doesn’t have enough information on Maggie, so he can’t make this decision yet. Alex tries to stop Yuri but Yuri thanks him for the drink and exits the Bistro.

Kate asks Dimitri again why he hasn’t made a ransom request as she doesn’t think he’s just keeping her around for the company. Dimitri responds that there are still many factors at play. Dimitri asks what good it would do for him to ask for a large sum of money as everyone would know he escaped prison and send him right back. Kate guesses he’s looking for immunity then. Dimitri calls it a bit more complicated than that.

Chad, Steve, and Harris arrive on the ship with their guns raised. Steve tells Chad to stick with him but Chad insists that he can handle himself and that it’s best to go separately. Harris tells him to text if he finds any sign of Kate as they each then head off in different directions.

Alex can’t believe this and begins to panic that he blew it. Stephanie tells him not to freak out since Yuri did not say no. Alex asks what he’s supposed to do. Stephanie instructs him to get him back at the table and not let him leave without signing. Stephanie calls this a temporary setback and completely normal for someone to second guess signing a deal this big. Stephanie encourages Alex not to freak out and to take a deep breath to regroup because this is not over. Alex agrees that he just has to keep pressing on and to convince Yuri that not signing with Titan would be a huge mistake. Stephanie says she will help and promises they will win this. Alex calls her a lifesaver and hopes tomorrow they can get this whole thing wrapped up so that Maggie never finds out about this blip. Alex then gets a call from Maggie, so Stephanie tells him to be cool. Alex answers the call and claims that everything went great. Alex admits Yuri didn’t sign right now but everything is good and he’s confident that he will sign tomorrow. Maggie then reveals that he’s not as she just spoke to Yuri and he decided that Titan was not a good fit after all, so the deal is off. Alex calls that insane and insists that he will fix this by going to the Salem Inn now to talk to him. Maggie thinks he’s done enough and reveals that Yuri told her that he had some doubts about her terms and that Alex got him all excited about a vision that was more in your face, so he doesn’t think she’s the right person to see it through. Alex calls Yuri wrong and says he’s going to fix this to make it up to her. Maggie tells him no and that this is the last straw. Alex asks Maggie not to be angry with him. Maggie responds that she’s not angry, just disappointed because he told her that she wouldn’t regret trusting him and promised he wouldn’t let her down, but he did. Maggie declares that she’s sorry to say that he’s fired.

Steve finds the room of the ship where Kate was being held and finds her ring on the floor which he calls a promising sign. The guard then catches him and asks what they have here.

Kate asks if Dimitri doesn’t want immunity for his crimes. Dimitri assures that he does but he also wants something else and he needs everything in place in order for him to achieve his goal. Kate hopes he’s not going after the Peacock again. Dimitri says no and what he’s after is much more personal. Chad then bursts in with his gun raised on Dimitri, surprising Kate.

John toasts to Marlena’s incredible career and says she has made a mark on the town and the entire world. John calls Marlena a true legend. They exit the Pub together. Marlena calls it a lovely and perfect celebration. John says there is nothing he loves more than celebrating his extraordinary wife. Marlena thanks him and they kiss. Marlena jokes that maybe 5000 isn’t such a crazy number after all. John wishes her a happy 5000 then as they walk off together.

Days of Our Lives Update

Gabi goes to the DiMera Enterprises office, looking for Stefan. Gabi finds the office is empty, so she sits at the desk. Stefan then walks in and guesses Gabi misses this. Gabi argues that they should be running the place. Stefan assures that they will be as soon as they give EJ the boot. Stefan points out that EJ is late and suggests Gabi put that in her next report. Stefan adds that Nicole is missing too. Gabi responds that at least she has an excuse and reveals to Stefan that Nicole was in the hospital last night.

Nicole walks past the Brady Pub and calls Kayla, saying she knows they can’t do the DNA test for a few weeks but she wants to make an appointment because she needs to know who the father of her baby is as soon as possible. Eric then comes out from the Pub. Nicole hangs up and greets him, noting that she was just talking to Kayla. Eric says he didn’t hear and asks if she’s okay. Nicole responds that she’s fine but worries about Eric’s stitches. Eric mentions that he and EJ got in to it last night. Nicole says she heard but didn’t realize it was that bad. Eric says he’s more worried about her as he called her and tried to warn her that EJ knew. Nicole blames Sloan and informs Eric that she didn’t get his message until after EJ confronted her. Eric calls it bad timing. Nicole calls it bad judgment on Sloan’s part and questions what the hell she was thinking by telling EJ that they slept together.

Sloan shows up at Colin’s motel room. Colin greets his sister and says he missed her but Sloan argues that if that were true, he would’ve told her that he was in town. Sloan walks in to the room
and reveals that she knows what he’s been doing, so they need to talk.

At the police station, Jada tries calling Talia again since the first call went to voicemail. Rafe reminds Jada that Sloan is their prime suspect. Jada says she still wants to know what Talia can tell her about Colin, even if part of her is afraid to hear it.

Talia and Chanel kiss on the couch as Talia’s phone rings with Jada’s call. Chanel stops and asks if she wants to answer that. Talia says no and turns off the ringer, telling Chanel there will be no more interruptions. They continue kissing until Chanel suggests they go to her bedroom. Talia stops and thinks back to planning this with Colin. Talia then stands up and resumes kissing Chanel until Paulina comes home and walks in on them.

Jada leaves a message for Talia, asking where she is and telling her to call her when she gets this because they need to talk. Jada says she’ll explain later and hangs up. Rafe questions her holding back. Jada explains that she felt ordering her to the station because she’s looking guiltier by the minute didn’t feel like the right approach. Jada hopes there’s an explanation that explains this all away.

Colin asks Sloan what he’s been doing. Sloan brings up a time that Colin got her grounded when they were kids. She tells him to stop playing innocent. Colin tells her to leave now because the less she knows, the better. Sloan responds that it’s too late because she already knows what he’s been doing.

Eric tells Nicole that Sloan admitted that she made a mistake and that she thought EJ already knew since what happened didn’t mean anything. Eric adds that if Nicole had already told EJ, maybe he wouldn’t have made such a big deal about it. Nicole argues that Sloan doesn’t appreciate their complicated history. Eric says that he filled her in some and she assumes that some of their complications are in the past. Eric asks if everything is okay between her and EJ. Nicole assures they are fine. Eric asks about Nicole since she was on the phone with Kayla and seemed startled when he walked out, so he asks if everything is okay.

Gabi writes a report about EJ being tardy to work. Stefan reads it and calls it great. Gabi says she’s got more. EJ then arrives at the office. Stefan comments that EJ is late and it’s becoming a habit. EJ informs them that he was tending to Nicole and she’s fine. Stefan remarks on Nicole’s episode not interfering with her work. Stefan says he was a little concerned that Nicole wouldn’t be fair in her reports to the DiMera Board but he had nothing to worry about because she was a total pro. EJ questions what he’s talking about. Stefan then shows EJ the report that he and Gabi changed to be positive about Stefan. EJ reads it in shock then trashes the paper, arguing that Nicole didn’t write one word of that crap. Gabi and Stefan point out that it has Nicole’s name on it and came from her e-mail to the board. EJ doesn’t know how they did it but says they obviously pulled something while Nicole was in the hospital. EJ then realizes that wasn’t the only report they submitted to the board last night.

Nicole tells Eric that everything is fine. Eric questions her being on the phone with Kayla and looking rattled. Nicole claims that she just jumps to the worst possible scenario, the doctor tells her that she’s fine and she insists on following up. Nicole admits that she had painful cramps last night, so she went to the hospital. Eric informs her that he was also at the hospital last night. Nicole mentions that Kayla said she saw him. Eric recalls running in to EJ on his way out. Nicole points out that he didn’t mention that before. Eric guesses he blocked it out. Eric notes that EJ said they talked about what happened between them and that EJ understands it didn’t mean anything, so he should just let it go. Eric says that’s not a problem for him and that they can get past that. Eric then points out that one thing that is strange is that EJ said he was at the hospital to get his hand checked out, but he was obviously there to see Nicole, so he questions why EJ would lie.

Paulina apologizes for walking in as she thought Chanel was alone. Chanel says it’s okay and encourages her not to panic. Talia says she doesn’t want her to get the wrong idea but Paulina says it’s okay as Chanel told her they were dating. Paulina adds that nobody wants a third wheel so she’ll go back out but Talia stops her and says she will go. Chanel tells her that she doesn’t have to. Paulina doesn’t want Talia to go on her account. Talia says she has to get to her missed call and tells Chanel that she will see her later. Talia then exits. Paulina feels terrible and wishes she knew that Chanel had company. Paulina admits she didn’t realize that things were moving so fast between them. Chanel says they were just hanging out and it sort of happened. Paulina decides maybe it’s a good thing that she interrupted. Chanel questions what that means.

Rafe tells Jada that he can talk to Talia and give her a break but Jada says it has to be her since she knows Talia better than anyone. Rafe wonders if less closeness in this case could be a good thing. Jada questions if he’s saying she can’t be objective. Jada insists that she will know if something is off like when Talia said she came straight home after Chanel’s and forgot about her walk around the lake before the town got drugged. Rafe asks Jada for more about her trip to the motel. Jada says he should’ve seen this Colin Firth. Jada comments that Colin was evasive and wouldn’t even admit to knowing Talia despite two witnesses swearing that they saw Talia leaving his room. Rafe reminds her that Talia still has no motive. Jada can’t figure out how Colin fits in if she did. Jada decides that if Colin won’t tell her what she needs to know, she will figure it out herself which Rafe questions. Jada argues that Colin can play dumb and stonewall her but he can’t stop her from investigating. Jada declares that she will find out everything there is to know about Colin, starting with what kind of car he drives, then she will run his license plates to see if he’s in the system. Jada decides she’s going back to the motel to see who else has been stopping by to see him.

Sloan questions how she could not have seen this sooner. Colin argues that Sloan put in enough time and effort in to trying to make Chanel pay for what she did to their parents, so now it’s his turn. Sloan argues that it’s not a game. Colin says that Sloan tried using the legal system to get justice but it didn’t work, so this requires someone that is willing to go to more extreme measures and that is him. Sloan asks if he’s considered how what he’s doing affects her since she’s being blamed for all of this. Colin apologizes for it being inconvenient. Sloan complains that her life is a living hell with the district attorney and police commissioner have been out to get her. Colin assures that they won’t have evidence against her. Sloan brings up how far Paulina will go to protect her daughter, so she will pay somebody to come up with something to railroad her with. Colin argues that she’ll find a way to prevent that. Colin insists that she will thank him when this is done. Sloan complains that the most powerful people in town are out to destroy her and the other half hate her guts. Sloan worries that she could lose her license, her practice, and her freedom so she doubts she will be thanking him. Colin asks if she has any other suggestions because he doesn’t see any other way and he is not walking away. Colin declares that he’s not letting those little bitches get away with murder. Sloan questions if he hasn’t done enough damage by getting Chanel’s bakery shut down, thus killing her dream. Colin calls that just the beginning.

Chanel questions why Paulina interrupting her and Talia would be a good thing as she thought Paulina liked Talia. Paulina says she does very much. Chanel asks if Paulina thinks she’s rushing in to things but she says it’s not that. Chanel adds that she doesn’t have a policy against co-workers hooking up which Paulina says she knows. Chanel says she’s lost. Paulina tells her to forget what she said but Chanel says she can’t. Paulina says she’s just so worried about the Sloan situation that she’s not thinking straight. Chanel asks if something happened. Paulina reveals that she got another threatening text message while at the police station and she pushed Rafe again to arrest Sloan, but he kept going on about how he had to consider all suspects. Chanel asks what this has to do with her being glad that she interrupted. Chanel then asks if she’s saying the police suspect Talia.

Jada tells Rafe that she is heading to the motel now and she’s not coming back without something solid. Talia then arrives at the station. Jada asks what she’s doing here. Talia points out that Jada called, so she decided that instead of playing phone tag, she would come see what she wanted this time. Jada then tells Talia that she wants to know who Colin is and what the hell she’s doing with him.

EJ questions Stefan and Gabi submitting those bogus reports to the board, arguing that there was nothing honest about it. EJ complains that Gabi’s scathing report about him was all lies and Nicole’s report about Stefan was obviously doctored by them. EJ worries about them sending that to Wei Shin. EJ then gets a phone call so Stefan asks if he’s going to answer that.

Nicole tells Eric that EJ was just protecting her privacy. Nicole then admits that EJ didn’t want him to know that she was at the hospital as he’s not at the top of EJ’s list when it comes to confiding. Eric says he gets it but he was just concerned. Eric knows what Nicole told him, but he also knows her and can see the look in her eyes. Eric reminds Nicole that she can talk to him about anything and trust him. Nicole says she knows that and she appreciates it. Nicole adds that it’s not that she doesn’t want to tell him, but it’s hard. Eric knows it’s hard to keep a secret but encourages her to open up a little bit and talk to him. Eric suggests maybe it will make it easier. Nicole asks him to promise which he does. Eric repeats that she can talk to him about anything. Nicole then tells Eric that the cramps are not just cramps. Eric asks what they are. Nicole claims that Kayla thinks that she’s in the early stages of menopause. Eric says the way she was talking made it sound more serious. Nicole says it’s not serious and it’s normal. Eric asks about the tests she wanted. Nicole says it’s for clarity as she doesn’t want to assume what’s going on with her body and she wants to know for sure.

EJ answers his call from Wei Shin and says he was just informed that he received the reports but there’s a lot more going on. EJ asks him to ignore everything he read about Stefan because the report was tampered with. EJ adds that his evaluation was pure fiction as they both know how Gabi is deeply biased. EJ argues that he’s not an HR disaster waiting to happen or temperamental. EJ adds that the quotes are totally made up. EJ questions Wei saying he wants him to take anger management classes. EJ screams that he’ll show him anger management and throws his phone across the room. EJ calls Stefan a bastard. Stefan and Gabi comment on use of offensive language being included in the report.

Paulina tells Chanel that Rafe didn’t want her to know and that they just suspected Talia for a moment and that was it. Chanel doesn’t understand since the police questioned them twice. Paulina says there was a slight discrepancy in Talia’s story but she cleared it all up. Chanel asks what discrepancy she’s talking about. Paulina thinks it started with where she went after they had dinner and something about her keys but nothing of consequence. Paulina adds that Talia had no motive to want to hurt them. Chanel questions the police considering Talia a suspect when Sloan is obviously behind all of this. Chanel calls it ridiculous. Paulina agrees but guesses Rafe just wanted to be thorough. Chanel argues that he should ask her then because she spends more time with Talia than anyone and thinks she would know if Talia was out to get them…

Sloan questions Colin saying getting Chanel’s bakery shut down was just the beginning. Sloan warns him about drugging the biscuits being a felony that people go to prison for. Colin argues that no one got hurt and that it all looked pretty fun to him. Sloan tells him to ask Melinda and Rafe, who ended up in the hospital. Colin laughs about reading about that in Leo’s gossip column. Colin remarks that Jada is pretty hot, so maybe Rafe thought it was all worth it. Sloan questions this all being a big joke to him. Sloan argues that people are getting hurt, including her. Colin insists there’s no way people can pin this on her. Sloan says that’s not what she meant. Sloan can’t believe she’s saying this but for the first time in this town, she might finally have something good going. Sloan says she wasn’t looking for it, but she’s found it and doesn’t want to lose it. Colin asks if she’s talking about a guy. Sloan confirms that she likes him and he’s important to her. Colin promises that whatever he does going forward won’t affect Eric. Sloan remarks that it’s too late for that as Eric had a drugged biscuit and ended up hooking up with his ex which she had the pleasure of walking in on. Sloan knows Colin thinks he’s honoring their parents’ memory but all he’s doing is ruining her life. Sloan declares that it stops here and it’s over.

Jada asks Talia about Colin. Talia says she doesn’t understand. Jada says she doesn’t either but Chloe and Xander both said they saw her leaving his motel room, so she went there to talk to him. Jada says she asked Colin some questions but he refused to answer. Jada asks if Talia will answer or do the same. Jada then asks if it was Talia that they saw leaving Colin’s motel room. Talia admits that it was and turns away. Talia admits that she lied to Jada. Talia says the night that everybody got high on the biscuits, she didn’t have a headache or take a walk around the lake. Talia admits that she went to the motel to see Colin. Jada stops Talia and says she has to read her rights. Talia asks her to let her explain because she has to say this now so Jada tells her to go ahead. Talia then reveals that Colin is her ex-boyfriend from New York. Talia claims on the night that she had dinner with Chanel and her family, Colin texted her out of the blue and said he was in town and wanted to see her. Talia says they were broken up and completely done, but she went to the motel and slept with him. Rafe questions why Talia didn’t just say that in the first place. Talia says it’s because she shouldn’t be seeing Colin at all as he’s no good for her and she doesn’t like who she is when she’s around him. Talia adds that she got weak after hearing his voice on the phone and everything she knew went away. Jada talks about knowing she had a boyfriend in New York, but she didn’t know he made her feel like this. Jada questions why Talia never said anything. Talia cries that it’s humiliating and she doesn’t know why she lied. Talia claims that she had told Colin that she never wanted to see him again and that they were done. Jada tries to tell her it’s okay. Talia asks if she’s said enough to finally convince her that she’s not a terrorist and she’s just a pathetic loser who slept with her ex-boyfriend. Talia asks if she wants more details or if she believes her now so this can all stop. Jada says she believes her but Talia says she has to go and storms out of the station.

Sloan tells Colin that nobody understands what he’s feeling more than she does as she felt the sorrow, grief, and rage every day since their mom died. Sloan adds that she spent hours obsessing over how to make Chanel and Paulina pay and suffer like they did, but by some miracle, she wants something more than revenge. Sloan declares that she found something beautiful that she wants to protect and Colin is making that very hard. Colin says the last thing he wanted to do was hurt her. Sloan understands he needs it as she’s been there but it’s a lonely place. Sloan didn’t realize how lonely it was until she found somebody who showed her that there was more to live for. Sloan says she wants that for Colin too as she hugs him. Sloan declares that moving on does not mean they forget their parents as they never will. Sloan encourages Colin to want more for himself too. Sloan warns that if the police come looking for her again, she’s going to tell them it’s him. Sloan kisses Colin on the cheek and then exits his room.

EJ calls Wei Shin back and gets upset when he’s told that Wei is unavailable. EJ says to let him know that he called and hangs up. Stefan declares their work here is done while Gabi suggests they go out to lunch to celebrate, so they exit together.

Eric asks Nicole if everything EJ said at the hospital is true, that everything is cool and there are no more lingering issues between them. Nicole says she hopes not. Nicole then gets a call from EJ. Eric tells Nicole that it was good to see her and he hopes everything goes well with her tests. Eric then heads back in to the Pub as Nicole answers the phone. EJ asks her to come to the office right away as they have a bit of a situation. Nicole says sure. EJ asks if everything is alright. Nicole says it’s fine and she’ll be there soon, then hangs up.

Paulina shows Chanel the latest threatening text message she got. Chanel says that’s awful and they need to do something. Paulina assures that she’s trying and had Rafe bring Sloan to the station for questioning but she denied everything. Chanel argues that she’s lying. Paulina says the problem is that they can’t prove it. Chanel asks what they can do. Paulina responds that they can’t let Sloan even get a hint that the police suspected Talia or else she’ll find a way to incriminate her. Chanel still can’t believe that Rafe thought Talia was behind all of this and that Jada suspected her own sister. Paulina tells Chanel not to worry because their eyes are on the prize. Paulina then asks Chanel about her and Talia as she assumed they were having a nice time before she barged in. Chanel explains that she assumed their date was the end of their romantic road since things got awkward towards the end, so she assumed Talia wasn’t in to her and then she showed up with flowers. Chanel says they talked and it turned out that Talia doesn’t have much experience with anyone which Paulina calls hard to believe. Chanel says there was one guy in New York that she fell pretty hard for but they broke up and she got emotional talking about it. Paulina is glad that they are getting closer. Chanel says that Talia has such a big heart, so the idea that she could hurt anyone means the cops have to be barking up the wrong tree…

Jada tells Rafe that Talia was in so much pain over Colin while she was just piling on with questions. Rafe understands that she didn’t know who Colin was, but he suspects that Talia has now put Jada’s doubts to rest and that she no longer sees her as a suspect. Jada hopes that Talia meant it about being done with her ex, because everything about that guy screamed bad news.

Colin is packing his bag as Talia comes in to his room. Colin informs her that he has some news but then asks if she’s alright as she looks like she’s been through the ringer. Talia says she just came from seeing her sister again, but she has everything under control. Colin thought she was with Chanel. Talia confirms that she was but they got interrupted by Paulina coming home. Talia tells Colin not to be upset, but things are heating up between her and Chanel, and Chanel is really in to her now. Talia then notices that Colin was packing his bag and questions what’s going on. Colin claims he was just organizing because his clothes were everywhere and the room is small. Talia asks about Colin saying he had news. Colin decides it doesn’t matter and that it’s so great about her and Chanel. Colin tells her how happy she’s made him as he hugs her.

Sloan joins Eric at the Pub. Eric asks what happened at the police station. Sloan explains that someone was again sending Paulina a threatening text and they wanted to blame it on her. Eric says it sounds like whoever is doing this is running out of ideas, which hopefully means it will be over soon. Eric hugs her as Sloan says she hopes so.

Nicole joins EJ at the office and confirms the report sent was not what she wrote about Stefan. EJ assumes that Gabi got in to her laptop while she was in the hospital. Nicole recalls logging in right before that happened and calls her a snake. EJ says they have a true disaster on their hands. Nicole argues that they won’t get away with it because she will rewrite the report to send to the board and then she will prove her computer was hacked. EJ says he doesn’t know. Nicole argues that they have to be exposed and there is no other choice. EJ worries as they will have two reports from her on their desk, one true and one a lie. EJ wonders how the board will determine which one is real.

Days of Our Lives Update

Anna joins Tony in the living room of the DiMera Mansion. Tony asks if everyone went off to work. Anna responds that Stefan and Gabi left, but she just saw EJ in the kitchen and he was going to take breakfast up to Nicole because apparently she slept in.

Nicole wakes up from a nightmare about Eric finding out that she’s pregnant. EJ then enters the room with breakfast and asks her what’s wrong.

Talia shows up at Chanel’s door with pink roses. Chanel admits she’s a little surprised to see her as she just left her a voicemail. Chanel tells Talia that she had a really nice time last night, but if she wants to go back to being just friends, it’s all good. Talia asks what if she wants to be more than friends.

Paulina reads Rafe the text message that she received, which says “Watch your back because I’m still coming for you.” Rafe agrees that it sounds like a threat so Paulina asks if he’s finally going to arrest the person that they all know is terrorizing her and her family.

Colin sits in his room and sends the text to Paulina until there’s a knock at the door and it’s Jada, calling for him to open the door now for the police. Colin answers and asks if there’s a problem. Jada introduces herself and says she believes he knows her sister, Talia Hunter. Colin claims her name doesn’t ring a bell. Jada asks how he explains the two witnesses that saw Talia leaving his room then.

Talia asks Chanel if she’s okay. Chanel guesses she’s just nervous and says she had a really good time on their date but felt it got awkward at the end and after she hadn’t heard from her today, she assumed that Talia wasn’t in to her. Talia hopes the flowers say otherwise as Chanel thanks her. Talia tells Chanel that she’s kind of nervous too. Talia says she really likes her and loves how chill things have been since they’ve met. Talia asks if they can shake the nerves and get back to that. Chanel says definitely and invites her inside.

Paulina mentions to Rafe about her panic attacks and how Talia was kind enough to teach her breathing exercises but she doesn’t know how much longer she can hold her breath for Rafe to arrest Sloan. Paulina shouts that she wants Rafe to lock up Sloan and throw away the key.

Sloan joins Eric at the Brady Pub and is shocked to see he has stitches over his eye and asks him what happened. Eric explains that EJ sucker punched him right after finding out from Sloan that he had slept with Nicole.

EJ asks if Nicole is alright. Nicole claims she’s fine and just had a strange dream. EJ asks what it was about but Nicole says she doesn’t remember. EJ says it clearly upset her and suggests her breakfast could calm her nerves. Nicole thanks him but thinks they should get to the office. EJ tells her not to worry about that. Nicole says she loves being pampered but she doesn’t need to skip work as she’s fine. EJ apologizes for being overprotective but says he was just so worried when he found out that she had gone to the hospital but he’s glad it’s nothing serious since she said it was just early stages of menopause. EJ asks if Nicole was being honest with him about that. Nicole insists that she is being honest and she’s not thrilled about her current condition. EJ encourages that she has nothing to worry about. EJ says he finds her more intoxicating with each passing day. EJ brings up that they’ve known each other for a long time and she’s never been more radiant or alluring than right now. Nicole tells EJ that she’s noticed the effort he’s made to show her that she’s important to him and that means so much to her. Nicole adds that she also appreciates how cool he’s been about her and Eric. Nicole assures it meant nothing and they were not in their right minds. EJ says that is why he’s decided to let it go since it was an isolated incident that changes nothing between them. EJ sees no reason they can’t forget all about it and move on.

Sloan explains to Eric that she ran in to EJ and told him about catching Eric and Nicole in bed together as she assumed he already knew. Eric questions why she didn’t give him a heads up. Sloan says she was under the impression that EJ was going to just let it go. Sloan can’t believe EJ punched him and says she’s so sorry. Eric says he’s fine. Sloan argues that Eric was assaulted and that it all could have been avoided if Nicole just told EJ herself since they did nothing wrong. Sloan adds that it only happened because the biscuits were drugged and it didn’t mean anything. Sloan complains that EJ should stop focusing on Eric and turn his attention to Chanel, the demon baker. Sloan thanks God that the health department shut the bakery down before she killed someone..

Paulina tells Rafe about the health department shutting down Chanel’s bakery even though Chanel had nothing to do with the tainted biscuits. Rafe says he feels terrible for all they are going through. Paulina urges him to arrest the lunatic that is trying to ruin their lives. Rafe repeats that he can’t do anything without evidence. Paulina shows him the text message. Rafe guesses it’s from a burner phone which is why there’s no proof that Sloan sent it or that someone else can’t be behind everything. Paulina questions if he’s going to waste more time telling her that Talia is involved.

Colin questions Jada as to who told her that they saw Talia coming out of his room. Jada reveals that it was Chloe Lane but Colin says that name doesn’t ring a bell. Jada then asks about Xander and describes him. Colin refers to Xander as his nosy neighbor. Jada states that Xander and Chloe both remember seeing Talia leave this room the other day but Colin is insisting that she was never there and he doesn’t know her. Colin questions what all this is about and if Talia is in some kind of trouble. Jada responds that she certainly hopes not but warns that Colin will be if he doesn’t start answering her questions. Jada starts by asking his name. Colin says it’s Colin Firth which he calls a coincidence and claims tons of people ask for his autograph. Jada says he won’t have to worry about that with her but she is going to ask to see some ID.

Chanel and Talia drink lattes together. Talia tells her that hanging here together is great. Chanel agrees but questions what changed since Talia didn’t seem nearly as comfortable last night and seemed distant. Talia thinks back to arguing with Colin about their plan. Talia then admits that she wasn’t comfortable on their date and she owes it to Chanel to tell her why.

Anna goes to Nicole’s room and says she just came to see if she’s feeling better today. Nicole responds that physically she’s fine, but emotionally she’s not so sure. Anna asks what’s wrong. Nicole informs her that EJ found out about her secret. Anna swears that he didn’t hear from her and she didn’t even tell Tony as she would never betray her trust that way. Nicole informs Anna that she knows because it was that awful Sloan Peterson.

Sloan hopes Eric knows that she didn’t tell EJ about him and Nicole out of spite as she really thought that he knew. Eric says he gets that and he appreciates her being so understanding and trusting. Sloan says she knows Eric is a kind and loyal person that would never cheat on her if he hadn’t been out of his mind. Sloan remarks that if only EJ had a similar reaction.

EJ joins Tony in the living room and says it looks like it will be a beautiful day, so he hopes Tony and Anna will be able to go outside and enjoy it. Tony comments on EJ being in a good mood and says he’s glad that he’s no longer brooding over Nicole keeping a secret from him. EJ reveals that he found out what it is. Tony assumes it turned out to be trivial like he assured it would be. Tony asks EJ what Nicole’s secret was and if she booked a romantic getaway for them. EJ reveals to Tony that Nicole slept with Eric and laughs, leaving Tony confused.

Colin questions why Jada wants to see his ID. Jada asks if there’s a reason that he doesn’t want to show it to her. Colin asks if she has a warrant. Jada asks if she needs one. Colin says he’s just trying to figure out the nature of her visit. Colin asks if she’s investigating some sort of crime and remarks that it sounds more personal than professional. Jada says this is her sister they are talking about. Colin remarks that if he knew someone had hurt his family, he’d make damn sure they answer to him…

Talia tells Chanel that she wasn’t comfortable on their date because this is all new to her. Chanel asks if she means being with girls but Talia claims she means romantic situations as she doesn’t have much experience with guys either. Chanel jokes about guys coming in to the bakery and staring at her, so she asks how it’s possible that she hasn’t had a zillion boyfriends. Talia tells her that in high school, when her friends went to prom, she was studying AP chemistry and then in college, she was obsessed with getting good grades to get in to med school. Chanel calls that the opposite of her as she was always partying in her free time. Chanel thinks Talia found her focus a lot sooner than she did. Chanel recalls being a hot mess when she first got to Salem until Paulina got her sister Lani to talk some sense in to her. Chanel says she decided that she wanted to turn her life around after Lani encouraged her to make her dreams come true through hard work. Chanel says she got serious and it paid off. Chanel declares that she won’t stop fighting back against the haters that shut down her bakery as they are not going to win. Talia jokes that she’s a real badass.

Paulina tells Rafe that Talia is a lovely young woman and questions how he could possibly think she’s behind any of this. Rafe says he doesn’t since they just had questions and she answered them. Paulina argues that Talia has no motive, unlike Sloan who came to town with the express purpose of getting revenge on her and Chanel. Rafe asks what she wants him to do. Paulina remarks that she tunes in to Peacock every day to watch Law & Order, so she knows the drill. Rafe states that he could bring Sloan in for questioning, but Jada already searched her place and found nothing. Rafe adds that Sloan brought her phone in and there was no evidence. Paulina complains that she would want five minutes alone with her and then starts to panic so Rafe sits her down and tells her to do her breathing exercises. Rafe then calls Sloan and informs her that Paulina just received another threatening text message, so he’d like her to come in for questioning. Rafe tells Sloan that he will see her soon and hangs up.

Eric offers to go to the police station with Sloan, but she says she can fight her own battles. Eric says he has her back. Sloan kisses him and then exits the Pub.

Anna questions Nicole about EJ knowing she slept with Eric and not blowing a gasket. Nicole explains that EJ knows it only happened because they were high. Anna says it turns out that she had nothing to worry about after all then, yet she looks pretty worried right now. Nicole admits that she is, because now she has to figure out what to do with this new secret that she’s keeping from EJ which Anna questions. Nicole says she can hardly believe it herself. Anna claims nothing shocks her anymore. Nicole then reveals that she’s pregnant and she doesn’t know if the father is EJ or Eric.

Tony questions EJ about Nicole sleeping with Eric. EJ says it was only because they were drugged by those biscuits and they were severely impaired. Tony notes that he seems surprisingly calm about this. EJ admits that at first, he was enraged but he calmed down and realized that what happened between Nicole and Eric was meaningless, so he felt better.

Rafe asks if Paulina feels better. Paulina says the breathing exercises really do help. Sloan arrives, so Rafe thanks her for coming in. Sloan says she has nothing to hide and they can even look through her phone but just like last time, they won’t find anything. Paulina complains that they know she’s not stupid enough to use her own phone. Rafe tells Paulina to let him handle this. Paulina tells Sloan to stop stalling and just confess. Sloan mocks her and asks if she’s Rafe’s new deputy. Paulina warns that she’s lucky that she doesn’t have a badge and a gun. Sloan asks if Rafe has any evidence implicating her. Rafe admits he doesn’t. Sloan asks if he has any more questions to ask. Rafe says just one and asks if Sloan sent the text to Paulina from a burner phone. Sloan repeats that she did not send the text and thinks they are done here. Paulina argues that they are not even close to done and warns that Sloan will pay for what she put them through. Sloan repeats that she didn’t send the text, write the letters, or drug the biscuits. Sloan adds that it’s clear that she’s not the only one in town who wants to see her suffer. Sloan warns Paulina to watch her back and then storms out of the station.

Talia asks Chanel if it’s weird that she’s so inexperienced. Chanel says it’s not weird, just surprising. Chanel adds that from the way Talia kisses, she never would’ve known so there must have been someone that she had some practice with. Talia then tells Chanel that there was a guy she met in New York after med school and they had an instant connection. Talia says she fell hard and swears that she would do anything for him. Chanel questions her talking in present tense like she’s still with him.

Jada says if Colin cares about his family, he should get why she cares about her sister. Jada says she’s here out of concern for Talia and asks how Colin knows her. Colin claims he doesn’t know her. Jada argues that they both know that it’s a lie. Colin argues that he’s under no obligation to answer anything. Jada threatens to get a warrant and the court involved. Colin says he’s going to shut the door now. Jada warns that she’s going to find out who he is and how he knows her sister. Jada declares that they will talk again as she then walks away.

Nicole informs Anna that she was at the hospital last night so Kayla ran some tests and it turns out that she’s pregnant. Anna asks if it’s Eric’s baby. Nicole reminds her that she doesn’t know as it could be EJ’s or Eric’s because of the timing, the drugs, or the one night stand with Eric. Nicole cries that she should be happy that she’s pregnant but she doesn’t know if she can carry the baby to full term because of her past. Anna asks who Nicole hopes is the father.

Tony asks EJ about punching Eric. EJ says he came home fired up to confront Nicole but then Gabi told him that Nicole was at the hospital, so in that moment, all his anger turned to fear and he was just glad that Nicole was alright. Tony doesn’t understand why Nicole felt she had to lie to him but then guesses it was because he’d go ballistic if she hadn’t. EJ admits that he did but they discussed it and agreed what happened was a mistake that will never happen again and he believed her, so he’s decided to let it go. Tony is glad that it’s put EJ’s mind at ease. EJ adds that Nicole has made it clear that she’s completely moved on from Eric, so all they share is memories and once those fade, there will be nothing at all that binds them together…

Nicole tells Anna that she knows it sounds terrible, but she doesn’t know who she wants the father to be as she just wants the baby to be healthy. Nicole calls it a high risk pregnancy and repeats that she doesn’t know if she can carry the baby to term. Anna is sorry that this is so difficult for her but she’s honored that Nicole felt she could confide in her about it. Anna assures that she’s here for whatever she needs, even if just to talk. Nicole thanks Anna and says she’s grateful for her support. Nicole declares that until she knows who the father is, she doesn’t want EJ or Eric to know that she’s pregnant. Nicole asks Anna to keep it to herself. Anna assures that her secret is safe with her as they hug.

Paulina argues to Rafe that Sloan just told her to watch her back which was the exact phrase used in her text. Paulina feels Sloan is gloating with what she’s getting away with. Rafe repeats that he can’t arrest someone without evidence. Paulina complains that Rafe called Sloan down here for nothing. Rafe says he just asked her if she sent the text. Paulina says she wanted him to grill her. Paulina declares that she’s had enough and is going to talk to Melinda. Rafe points out that he and Melinda were both drugged by the biscuits, so he assures they are not taking this lightly and they are not going to rest until they find the person responsible for these crimes. Rafe remarks that it might just take a little longer than it does on Law & Order. Paulina repeats that Rafe should’ve grilled Sloan. Paulina walks out of the station as Jada arrives. Jada asks Rafe if he’s okay and comments on Paulina leaving while looking grim. Rafe states that she just wants this all to stop. Jada says they are doing their best while Rafe points out that Paulina disagrees and it didn’t help that she got another threatening text and insisted he drag Sloan down. Rafe says that Sloan denied it and suggested it was someone else. Jada remarks that maybe it was Colin Firth which Rafe questions. Jada explains that Colin is the lying swine that she just had a talk with.

Talia tells Chanel that she and the guy broke up, so Chanel asks what happened. Talia thinks back to being with Colin. Talia then claims that it just got a little intense. Chanel says she’s definitely been there. Chanel tells Talia that there is no pressure here and she’s fine being just friends, so maybe they shouldn’t rush in to anything. Chanel says she’s cool with how they are right now. Talia thinks back to Colin urging her to turn up the heat on Chanel. Talia then asks Chanel why be cool when they can be so hot together. Talia tells Chanel that she wants her and then kisses her.

Jada explains to Rafe that Chloe and Xander saw Talia leaving Colin’s motel room, so she went over there but he dodged all her questions. Rafe asks what she is thinking. Jada says they keep saying how Talia has no motive, but asks what if this man is her motive. Sloan returns to the station having forgot her phone and then hides behind the corner to listen in as Jada tells Rafe that the man told her his name was Colin, but she assumes he gave her a fake last name because he refused to show any ID. Rafe wonders if anyone who works at the motel knows what he’s been up to. Jada remarks that it’s clear to her that the British guy in room 106 is not the kind of trouble that any girl needs which Sloan overhears.

Colin remarks to himself that he won’t be scared off. There’s a knock at his door so he says if it’s Jada, he has nothing more to say to her. It’s Sloan, who calls out that she has a hell of a lot to say to him. Colin answers the door and greets his sister, telling Sloan long time no see.

Rafe asks Jada if he should talk to Colin. Jada notes that he made it very clear that unless they have a warrant, he’s not going to cooperate. Rafe says they would need cause for a warrant. Jada says they don’t need cause to talk to Talia, so if Colin won’t answer their questions, maybe Talia will.

Talia’s phone rings nearby as she and Chanel continue kissing. Chanel stops and asks if she’s sure about this. Talia asks if she can’t tell and then they continue kissing onto the couch.

Anna rejoins Tony in the living room. Tony informs her that EJ suggested they should go out and enjoy the beautiful day. Anna says she would love to, but first there is something she needs to confess to them both. Anna reveals that she knew about Nicole and Eric as Nicole confided in her and it was just between them, but she hated keeping it from EJ and she’s truly sorry. EJ responds that there’s no need to apologize and all is well now that everything is out in the open.

Nicole walks past the Pub and calls Kayla, saying she knows they can’t do the DNA test for a few weeks but she wants to make an appointment because she needs to know who the father of her baby is. Eric then comes out from the Pub.

Days of Our Lives Update

Chloe wakes up in her new apartment and joins Xander in the living room. Chloe praises the mattress and says she appreciates it. Xander mentions that it’s time for breakfast and asks Chloe what’s on the menu.

Tripp makes breakfast for he and Wendy in Seattle. Wendy tells him the eggs are delicious and just what she needed to wake her up. Wendy adds that at home, she usually has a protein bar but she could get used to this.

Chanel comes out from her bedroom as Abe and Paulina are having breakfast in the living room. Paulina asks Chanel about her date. Abe questions what date this is. Chanel asks if Paulina didn’t tell him. Paulina says it wasn’t her news to tell. Chanel jokes that it hasn’t stopped her before. Paulina comments on Chanel getting back in the dating pool. Abe asks to be filled in on who this date was with and asks Chanel who is the lucky guy or gal.

Talia is having breakfast at the Brady Pub while on the phone with Colin. Talia calls it a bit early for him to be checking in. Colin asks how her date was. Talia says it was fine but Colin wants more details. Colin then asks if Chanel is in love with Talia yet. Talia says it’s a little soon for her to be falling in love with her after just one date. Colin jokes about lesbians. Talia points out that Chanel is bisexual, not lesbian. Colin argues that all that matters is that she falls head over heels in love with Talia, so that she can break her heart all over again. Colin adds that he will then start working on the plan for Paulina. Talia questions what he is planning on doing to Paulina right as Jada walks in to the Pub.

Abe questions Chanel’s date being with Talia when she works for her. Chanel argues that unlike Abe, she doesn’t have a policy against co-workers dating. Abe points out that it’s the city council’s policy and he just enforces it but private businesses obviously have more leeway. Chanel doesn’t know if that even matters since her business is still shut down. Paulina asks if the health department has given her anything on when she can re-open. Chanel responds that until the police find out who tainted the biscuits, they won’t even consider it. Paulina tells Abe that they should go light a fire under his commissioner. Abe asks to finish his pancake first but Paulina insists so Abe decides the pancakes can wait. Abe kisses Paulina goodbye and exits.

Wendy tells Tripp that breakfast was amazing. Tripp offers to clean up but Wendy says he cooked and was a great host. Tripp says they are friends and adds that he’s really glad that she decided to visit as he really enjoyed her being there. They almost kiss but Wendy’s phone rings and interrupts them. Wendy sees the call is from Johnny and answers. Johnny says he just talked to Li, who said she is still in Seattle which she confirms. Johnny asks if she’s avoiding him because he thought she believed him when he told her that he only proposed to Chanel because of the drugged biscuits. Wendy assures that she does believe him but says that Tripp just brought Joey home from the hospital, so she felt bad leaving and stuck around to help out. Johnny says that’s good to know and asks when she is coming back.

Chloe questions Xander asking her what’s for breakfast. Xander jokes that for some reason, he assumed she was an early riser that would’ve had breakfast on the table hours ago. Chloe informs him that he assumed wrong. Xander thought it was part of their agreement and asks if she’s forgotten already. Chloe assures that she hasn’t forgotten as she said she would pick up some of the slack of household chores, not that she would do everything and be his cook. Chloe complains that she knew this was a bad idea like Brady said. Chloe then declares that she’s going to pack. Xander stops her and apologizes and agrees that he shouldn’t have expected anything. Chloe says if she agrees to stay, they need to figure out what this arrangement is. Xander suggests they discuss it over breakfast which he will cook for them. Xander says he will scramble some eggs but then realizes they don’t have any.

Johnny tells Wendy that EJ and Stefan need her at DiMera as the place is kind of falling apart with her gone. Wendy doubts that and says she hasn’t made any travel plans yet, but she’ll be back soon. Johnny says he’s glad because he really misses her. Johnny tells her to let him know when she knows for sure and they’ll talk soon as they hang up.

Jada listens in from behind as Talia asks Colin what is happening to Paulina. Colin responds that he’s still working out the details but it’s all part of his plan. Talia starts to ask what the plan is but Jada interrupts so she hangs up. Jada asks Talia who she was just talking to.

Xander comments on Chloe having more time on her hands because she is currently without a job. Chloe threatens to go pack again, so Xander decides they will alternate weeks on who does the grocery shopping. Xander says they need to write out their arrangement but he can’t do it over an empty stomach, so he offers to take her out for breakfast. Chloe accepts and says she will go get dressed, while telling Xander to dust the blinds.

Paulina and Abe go to Rafe’s office. Paulina tells Rafe that they need to talk. Abe hopes it’s not a bad time. Rafe says never and asks what he can do for them. Paulina complains that Chanel can’t reopen her bakery until he arrests Sloan Peterson. Paulina questions what is taking so long and argues that he should’ve arrested Sloan as soon as someone had a bite of the biscuits. Abe states that Rafe can’t arrest Sloan just because of her animosity towards Paulina and Chanel because he has to have the evidence. Paulina argues that the evidence all points to Sloan. Rafe doesn’t respond so Paulina asks if he’s going to tell them that the evidence now points to someone else. Rafe says not exactly. Paulina questions what he means.

Talia claims to Jada that she was just talking to Chanel and that she was just checking to make sure Paulina was okay because she was concerned. Talia asks if Jada has any other questions or if she should get a lawyer since she’s so interested in her private phone calls. Jada points out that she just asked who she was talking to and yet Talia gets all defensive, questioning why that is. Talia tells Jada to enjoy her coffee and walks out of the Pub.

Johnny shows up at Paulina’s place to see Chanel, noting that he checked the Bakery but it wasn’t open. Johnny says he’s sorry that she’s going through this. Chanel asks what was so important that he had to see her face to face. Johnny responds that it’s about Wendy and he was hoping for Chanel’s advice because he feels like he’s losing her.

Tripp asks Wendy what Johnny wanted. Wendy responds that he was just wondering when she was coming back to Salem, which made her think that maybe she should go back today and book a flight. Tripp feels that’s kind of sudden. Wendy points out that Joey is getting better and she does have a job. Tripp notes that she could continue working remotely. Wendy feels he’s upset. Tripp brings up that they said they would go on one date and if there was nothing between them, they would just be friends but he felt something on their one date that he thinks is great. Tripp adds that it seemed like she felt it too, so he doesn’t want her to leave and he really wants her to stay.

Chanel asks why Johnny thinks he’s losing Wendy. Johnny points out that Wendy is still in Seattle and is in no hurry to come home. Chanel questions if she’s not still upset about him proposing to her and says that can’t be the reason she is staying. Johnny explains that is why he’s pretty sure the reason is Tripp.

Wendy questions Tripp wanting her to stay in Seattle and asks if he’s moving here. Tripp responds that he’ll be back in Salem too but he promised Steve and Kayla that he would look after Joey until he got back on his feet, so it should only be a few more weeks. Tripp says if Wendy stayed, they could see where things go without all the typical Salem distractions. Tripp states that they could just be together. Wendy responds that she can’t because she can’t work remotely for weeks on end. Wendy adds that Li has been lost lately now that he’s given up on Gabi, so she needs to be there for him. Tripp assumes she needs to be there for Johnny too and that Johnny is why she’s so anxious to get back to Salem now. Tripp guesses it means that Wendy is choosing Johnny.

Chanel questions why Johnny thinks Wendy is staying in Seattle because of Tripp. Johnny says that Wendy told him that she was staying to help Tripp take care of Joey. Chanel feels that’s reasonable. Johnny complains that it’s the perfect way for Tripp to weasel his way in to Wendy’s heart. Johnny wonders if he should fly to Seattle to try to woo her back. Chanel advises against him smothering her. Chanel compares it to West Side Story and suggests Johnny play it cool. Johnny argues that he’s the opposite of cool. Chanel asks him to fake it so he doesn’t come off as needy and desperate. Chanel promises if Johnny lies low, Wendy will be happier when she does come back. Johnny decides she’s right and thanks her for the advice. Johnny apologizes for just coming in and dropping all his problems on her, especially when she’s going through her own stuff right now. Chanel says she could use the distraction but notes that there is one good thing in her life right now and reveals that she had a date last night. Chanel knows it seems soon since she and Allie just broke up recently, but she found out that Allie is seeing someone in New Zealand so she feels she should move on too. Johnny asks who the date was with last night.

Talia goes to Colin’s motel room. He tells her to text when she is close because he doesn’t want her waiting in the hallway. Talia tells him to relax as she was only waiting for five seconds. Colin feels it’s better to not take any chances and asks if Jada heard anything. Talia says she told her that she was talking to Chanel and she thinks that she bought it. Talia then points out that Colin still hasn’t told her what he plans to do about or to Paulina. Colin informs her that he has come up with a plan. Colin brings up Paulina’s panic attacks and hoped that since Talia is a doctor, she might know how to cause them.

Xander and Chloe go to the Brady Pub where they see Jada. Chloe greets her and Xander calls this a happy coincidence since Jada can update them on their investigation. Chloe doesn’t want to interrupt while Xander asks if Jada has arrested Sloan yet because Chloe almost ingested one of the biscuits and things could’ve gotten ugly. Jada responds that things did get ugly for a lot of people. Jada tells Chloe that she’s sorry that happened but she is not at liberty to discuss an ongoing investigation. Xander hopes that doesn’t mean it’s moving slowly as he would think she would want to close the case sooner than later. Jada comments on Xander having a lot of opinions on a case that seemingly doesn’t concern him. Xander says he’s just speaking as a concerned citizen and says he’s terribly sad for Chanel to have her bakery closed. Xander remarks that Talia is now shacking up at the same seedy motel that he used to stay at, which surprises Jada.

Paulina questions if Rafe has another suspect or not. Rafe responds that he’s not at liberty to say. Abe grants Rafe that liberty as his boss. Abe asks if there is another suspect. Rafe then reveals that at one point, Jada suspected Talia. Paulina is shocked and questions how Jada could even think that of her sister. Rafe explains that when Talia and Chanel told them what happened the night before the biscuits were poisoned, there was discrepancy in Talia’s story since she said she went straight home after leaving Paulina’s but Jada remembered she came home a few hours later and Talia claimed she just misspoke. Abe questions suspecting Talia just because she lost track of a couple of hours. Rafe adds that they also learned that when Paulina thought Sloan had stolen her keys, Talia was there as well. Paulina argues that she would’ve noticed if Talia took her keys but Abe points out that she didn’t notice if Sloan did it. Rafe continues that Talia also had a key made that day and then forgot to turn on the security camera. Rafe notes that as a doctor, Talia would have had access to the drugs that were used. Rafe says considering all of that, that is why they believe she might have had something to do with the poisoning but when they questioned her, she had an explanation for everything. Paulina argues that Talia couldn’t have been involved in something so sinister, shameful, and criminal. Paulina calls Talia a lovely girl with a good heart. Rafe says they couldn’t understand it either, especially with no motive. Paulina can’t believe they even suspected her. Abe understands that Rafe is simply conducting a thorough investigation. Paulina remarks that it would just be so awful if Talia had something to do with this, especially now. Rafe asks why now. Paulina then informs Rafe that Talia and Chanel are dating.

Chanel informs Johnny that her date was with Talia. Johnny asks how the date was. Chanel says they had dinner at the Bistro and it started out great but got awkward and she hasn’t heard from her since, which is driving her crazy. Johnny suggests Chanel take her own advice and play it cool. Chanel agrees and is just in her head about it because Talia has only dated guys before, so she’s wondering if Talia is not that in to her. Johnny asks if Chanel is in to her. Chanel says she thought so and definitely finds her attractive, but after everything with Allie. Johnny understands that she doesn’t want to get hurt again. Johnny declares that if Talia can’t see how amazing Chanel is and how lucky anyone would be to be with her, she’s a damn fool. Chanel thanks him. Johnny decides he’s bent her ear long enough. Chanel jokes that’s what ex-wives are for. Chanel wishes Johnny luck with Wendy. Johnny thanks her and then exits.

Wendy tells Tripp that she’s not choosing anyone and says it’s weird to even think of it like she has to make a choice. Wendy states that Tripp and Johnny are both great guys and very different which is why she likes them both in different ways. Tripp asks if they might still have a chance when he gets back to Salem. Wendy says unless he meets someone else. Tripp says that won’t happen. Wendy hopes he does because then they’d be even as he would have to make a choice too. Tripp responds that he’s already made one. Tripp chooses to have hope that Wendy will come around to see that they are right for each other. Wendy says she can’t predict the future, but says maybe she will come around to see that. Tripp says as long as he’s not out of the running. Wendy assures he’s definitely not.

Colin asks Talia if there is some kind of medication to induce panic attacks but Talia says it doesn’t work that way, so Colin decides they’ll have to think of another plan then. Talia questions if he plans on hurting Paulina. Colin tells her not to worry about that and to just focus on turning up the heat level on Chanel. Colin encourages her to touch her gently and find ways to get close to her. Colin bets Chanel will fall in love with Talia just by being in her presence. Colin assures that it won’t be much longer as once Paulina and Chanel have paid for what they did to his mother, then they can move on with their lives and focus on making each other happy. Colin tells Talia that he loves her so much as they kiss.

Jada questions Xander seeing Talia at a motel. Chloe confirms that they ran in to her when she was leaving her room. Jada says that Talia doesn’t live in a motel. Xander asks how she knows. Jada explains that Talia is her sister and actually lives with her upstairs. Xander remarks that it must mean that Talia is just hooking up with that obnoxious Brit. Chloe and Jada question who that is. Xander explains that when he went back for the rest of his stuff, he ran in to this guy who was an absolute jerk and when he mentioned that he saw Talia coming out of his room, he denied even knowing her. Jada asks for his room number. Xander says maybe he shouldn’t have brought this up since who Talia hooks up with is her business. Jada agrees but says she would really appreciate if he could make it her business. Xander then informs Jada that it was room 106 so Jada then hurries out of the Pub.

Wendy books her flight to leave in 2 hours and packs her bags. Tripp offers to take her to the airport but Wendy tells him to stay and take care of Joey as she already called a ride share. Tripp says Joey can be alone for a bit as he thought they could say goodbye there. Tripp then admits he was planning to have the whole romantic airport scene like Casablanca. They talk about not remembering if there was a kiss in that scene but they agree that it was romantic regardless. Wendy asks why their romantic scene has to be at the airport and why it can’t just be right here, right now. Tripp agrees and they kiss until Wendy gets a text that her ride has arrived. Tripp says he hopes to see her soon. Wendy responds that they’ll always have Seattle and kisses him goodbye as she then exits.

Chanel tells herself that she has to play it cool but then she gives in and calls Talia. Chanel leaves a voicemail, saying she just wanted to tell her that she had a really nice time last night but there’s no pressure if she’s not into it and they can just go back to being friends. Chanel hangs up and Talia then shows up at her door with pink roses.

Xander and Chloe have breakfast at the Pub. Xander comments on not expecting her to order the lumberjack special with extra bacon. Chloe agrees to share with him. Xander points out that Jada didn’t even get to finish her breakfast since she raced out so quickly. Chloe wonders if Jada went straight to that gross motel. Xander says Jada doesn’t strike him as the overprotective type, but she did seem awfully interested in the guy that Talia has been with.

Colin sits in his room and sends a text until there’s a knock at the door. Colin asks who is there. Jada says it’s the police.

Abe and Paulina talk at the police station about Rafe checking with forensics for any new evidence. Paulina hopes Sloan slipped up and left some DNA behind. Rafe comes back and announces they unfortunately didn’t find anything. Paulina is then shocked by a text message she received that reads “Watch your back because I’m still coming for you” as Rafe asks if she’s okay.

Days of Our Lives Update

Kate meets the boss of the boat and it turns out to be Dimitri Von Leuschner, who says that Kate must know him by reputation because they’ve never been formally introduced but the pleasure is all his.

Marlena goes to the Brady Pub while on the phone with Roman. Marlena says that’s great news and she’ll tell everybody. Marlena knows he still has to find Kate but now they have reason to hope. Marlena says she’ll get back with him soon as they hang up. Marlena then finds Eric seated alone and excitedly tells him that Roman found out that Kate got away from Bo, so he thinks that Kate is alive. Eric says that’s great but Marlena can tell something is wrong. Eric slowly turns towards her, revealing the cut on his face. Marlena asks how that happened but Eric claims it’s nothing and that he ran in to a door. Eric then admits it was EJ’s fist.

At the DiMera Mansion, EJ questions Gabi not telling him in the first place that Nicole went to the hospital. Gabi talks about being not sure that Nicole wasn’t faking the whole thing of having cramps. EJ questions what kind of cold hearted person she is. Gabi argues that she’s the one who took Nicole to the ER. EJ asks if she’s alright now but Gabi doesn’t know since she didn’t wait there. Gabi calls Nicole a drama queen and goes to leave but EJ grabs her and questions what is wrong with her. Stefan then walks in and tells EJ to get his hands off of Gabi.

At the hospital, Nicole asks Kayla how she can be pregnant when she’s on the pill. Kayla responds that the pill is highly effective but doesn’t prevent 100% of pregnancies. Nicole questions why she was having cramps. Kayla guesses they were little contractions which are normal in early pregnancy, so she’s not concerned at the moment. Kayla suggests a follow up with her OB/GYN due to her medical history and past pregnancies. Nicole admits she did not see this coming. Kayla understands it’s a lot to take in and that it was unplanned. Nicole adds that it’s not just because the pregnancy is dangerous for her and the baby, but she doesn’t even know who the father is.

Marlena asks if Eric had a bar room fight with EJ. Eric says he gave those up and that EJ punched him while it took all of his restraint not to punch him back. Marlena questions why EJ hit him. Eric asks her to let it go. Marlena guesses it was Nicole and asks what happened. Eric says she won’t like it as he reveals that EJ sucker punched him when he found out that he and Nicole slept together.

EJ complains to Stefan that Nicole fell ill while alone with Gabi and now Gabi is making jokes about it. Gabi argues that it only happened after she was winning their argument. EJ grabs Gabi and questions her flinging insults at anyone else while Stefan warns him again to let her go. Gabi notices EJ’s knuckles are all red and asks how that happened. EJ claims it was an accident. Stefan asks who he knocked out this time. EJ claims it was no one. Stefan reminds EJ that he has to play nice because he has a performance review coming up. EJ declares that he’s not wasting any more time with them as he’s going to the hospital and exits. Gabi calls EJ an arrogant bastard. Stefan asks Gabi if Nicole was faking or actually in pain. Gabi says she doesn’t know but if she was sick, she hopes it’s serious.

Kayla asks Nicole if she was with more than one man recently. Nicole admits that she was but she’s in a committed relationship with EJ. Kayla asks why she would do that then but apologizes and says it’s none of her business. Nicole says it’s okay as she wants her to know. Nicole informs Kayla that she and Eric were high on the drugged biscuits and had a one night stand.

Chad remains in Greece while on the phone with Julie, talking about his son Thomas losing a tooth. Chad tells her to tell his kids that he misses and loves them very much and he’ll be home soon. Chad thanks her for everything and says he’ll call her again in the morning as they hang up. Roman shows up at the door, so Chad asks if there’s anything new about Bo. Roman says not since he squeezed Hope’s hand but Kayla said it will be a long road back for him. Roman adds that he and Hope have talked about moving Bo in to a long term care facility. Chad says it’s good to have him back in the land of the living even if it is a shame he’s not recovering fast. Roman states that Bo is tough so he won’t count him out. Chad agrees that anyone who knows Bo would not count him out because he’s a survivor just like Kate. Roman mentions that Steve wasn’t in his room and asks if he’s out looking for Kate. Chad confirms that Steve left a little while ago. Roman asks if he said where he was heading so that he can catch up to him. Chad says he did but notes that there is something Roman should know and he’s not sure he will like it.

Kate informs Dimitri that she knows he’s the cousin of Carly and Frankie, who posed as an ISA agent named Kyle Graham last year. Dimitri guesses that Billie filled her in which Kate confirms. Dimitri talks about having fond memories of romancing Billie. Kate says she knows all about it but Billie knows she was played by him and has forgotten all about him. Dimitri guesses he had that coming but says he found her quite captivating and now he sees where she gets it. Kate tells him not to bother as she is immune to his charms, like Billie was when she took him down in the end and his plot blew up in his face. Kate questions why he’s not in prison. Dimitri says that’s his business. Kate then asks him why she’s on this boat, gutting fish, when she could be home in Salem with her loved ones.

Eric tells Marlena that he slept with Nicole as they were under the influence of the tainted biscuits and assures that it was a one time thing. Marlena asks if he told Sloan. Eric responds that he didn’t have to because she was the one who walked in on them. Eric thought Sloan would be quiet about it since she said she understood, so he doesn’t know why she would bring it up to EJ. Eric calls it a total blow to EJ’s fragile male ego and that EJ wouldn’t believe that it meant nothing. Marlena questions if it did mean nothing to Eric and Nicole.

Nicole tells Kayla that she and Eric were hallucinating while having sex and didn’t know what they were doing. Nicole stops and worries if the drug could hurt the baby. Kayla thinks it’s too early to know that. Nicole calls this such a mess. EJ then arrives. Nicole greets him and asks what he’s doing here. EJ respond that he had to know if she was alright and asks Kayla if she is.

Stefan tells Gabi that the least EJ could’ve done was thank Gabi for taking Nicole to the hospital. Stefan points out that Nicole is working day and night to have them canned, so she should’ve had her take a cab. Gabi says she’s not a horrible person and thought she would earn brownie points with EJ, but he just yelled at her for not staying with Nicole. Gabi mentions adding that to her scathing performance review and then tells Stefan that Nicole was about to send his when her pain started, so she didn’t send it and was just getting the laptop out of her bag. Stefan points out that Nicole left her laptop and asks if Gabi is thinking what he’s thinking.

Eric assures Marlena that he and Nicole were high and what happened was the last thing they wanted. Marlena points out that research on the drug showed it doesn’t increase libido. Eric asks what she is insinuating. Marlena states that Eric and Nicole have always had a very strong attraction to each other. Eric insists that he and Nicole regret it as he’s with Sloan and she’s with EJ now. Eric adds that Nicole doesn’t know that EJ knows about them and she hasn’t called him back. Eric worries that EJ was enraged so he’s afraid that Nicole will get blindsided.

Kayla tells EJ that he can’t just barge in here as she’s with a patient. EJ points out that Nicole is his girlfriend and says that Gabi said she was in terrible pain. Nicole tells him that it wasn’t that terrible and it’s over now, so he doesn’t have to worry. Nicole asks Kayla to give her and EJ a few minutes alone. Kayla tells Nicole to see her before she leaves to discuss her follow up care. Kayla then exits the room. Nicole apologizes to EJ for Gabi scaring him and says she shouldn’t have made so much out of it, but she’s fine now. EJ calls that a relief and asks if Kayla knows why Nicole had this pain. Nicole claims it was just something she ate. EJ questions if it was a delayed reaction to the biscuits. Nicole says that might have been it but that it was nothing. EJ argues that it couldn’t have been nothing since Gabi despises her but was worried enough to drive her here and now she’s just fine. EJ finds it hard to believe. Nicole asks if he’s saying that she’s lying. EJ responds that it is possible, since she did lie to him about sleeping with Eric.

Eric feels he has to call Nicole. Marlena assures that she will call him back when she can. Eric mentions knowing that Marlena doesn’t like EJ or Sloan. Marlena says she’s curious how he’s feeling and checks out his cut. Marlena worries that it won’t close without stitches so she wants to take him to the hospital, or else he’ll end up with a scar or an infection. Eric argues that Marlena is a doctor so she can stitch him up. Marlena points out that she doesn’t have her bag and they are not in a sterile environment. Eric complains that an ER is full of sick people. Marlena says she has connections and can get him in to an exam room. Marlena adds that she’s not letting this go so Eric leaves the Pub with Marlena.

Stefan wonders what Nicole’s password is. Gabi remembers that Nicole was typing it in when her pain started, so they are able to log in. Stefan acknowledges that it’s highly unethical for him to access and alter a performance review on his own job. Gabi argues that it’s unethical for Nicole to lie about him too and asks if Stefan’s going to let that go. Stefan knows he started this whole thing by hiring Gabi to do these job evaluations. Gabi argues that everything she wrote about EJ is accurate while Stefan is one of the most ethical people she knows. Stefan sees that Nicole left the file wide open. Stefan reads that Nicole wrote that he was scattered, inattentive, and possibly brain damaged. Stefan laughs over Nicole writing that he fails to use inclusive language and that he’s unfamiliar with social media and pop culture like not knowing the singer Lizzo when influencers like her can impact a company’s profit margin. Gabi jokes that they’ll work on that. Stefan reads that Nicole wrote that Stefan is not prepared to run a multi-national corporation and that an unnamed employee said they wished Stefan stayed dead. Gabi calls Nicole a bitch.

Dimitri is surprised at Kate’s reaction when he made sure the boat was comfortable while he knew she was familiar with fish chopping. Kate stops him and asks again why she is here. Dimitri responds that Kate is of great use to him as a hostage. Kate tells him to call Roman and demand a ransom then. Dimitri questions where Roman would get that money. Kate insists that Roman is resourceful and he will find a way to get her back, adding that they have friends and family that can help him. Kate adds that Chad DiMera is like her son, so she suggests calling him so they can end this farce and she can go home.

Chad informs Roman that Harris Michaels is on the case now. Roman questions who’s idea that was. Chad explains that Andrew Donovan thinks Harris could be their best bet in finding Kate since Kate was taken by boat while Harris was a Navy SEAL and an expert at tracking down missing boats. Roman says his problem is that he’s not fully convinced that Harris is deprogrammed or that they can trust him, bringing up what he did with Steve and Kayla. Chad points out that they were rescued the next day. Roman understands Chad is willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. Chad declares that if it helps find Kate, he doesn’t care where the help comes from.

Marlena brings Eric to the hospital. Eric is shocked to see Kayla and hugs her. Kayla asks what happened to his face. Eric claims it’s nothing while Kayla points out he is bleeding. Eric reluctantly asks for stitches. Marlena didn’t know Kayla was home and tells her how good it is to see her here. Kayla admits she never thought she’d see this place again. Marlena asks if she has seen Bo. Kayla confirms that she has and he’s shown signs of awareness but it’s going to be a long road to recovery. Eric notes that they are all praying for him. Marlena asks if there’s any update on Kate. Kayla says no, but Roman will not give up until he finds her. Kayla adds that Steve and Chad stayed behind in Greece but she wishes there was more to go on. Marlena hugs Kayla and tells her to take care of herself. Kayla accidentally drops her folder on Nicole so Eric goes to pick it up but Kayla quickly tells him to just leave it.

Nicole tries to lie to EJ but he tells her not to waste her breath because Sloan was delighted to tell him all about it. Nicole argues that Sloan is lying because she hates her but EJ reveals that he confronted Eric on it and he confirmed it. EJ adds that he also overheard her on the phone with Eric the other night, swearing him to secrecy on something and now he knows what that something is. Nicole says she would’ve told him. EJ goes over what Eric said about them being high and it being a one time thing that didn’t mean anything. EJ explains that he had built up a head of steam and took it out on Eric, then he came home to confront her about it when he found out she was sick and then all his anger disappeared and he only cared about finding her. Nicole admits that she just didn’t think that EJ would understand. EJ responds that the only thing he didn’t understand is why she felt the need to lie to him. Nicole says she knew how upset he would get given their history with Eric. EJ understands she may have been afraid but he got it out of his system when he punched Eric. Nicole asks if she hurt him. EJ says he’s fine. Nicole asks what about him. EJ says he just has skinned knuckles and a new awareness that life is not always under his control. EJ adds that he’s more concerned about her and asks if she’s really alright as this all feels like quite a lot just for a stomachache. Nicole asks what he means. EJ mentions hearing Kayla say that she wanted to discuss her follow up plan and questions that being for indigestion. EJ asks Nicole if she is seriously ill. Nicole says no and tells him not to think that for a minute. EJ calls that a relief, but he knows there’s something she’s not telling him which she admits.

Gabi alters Nicole’s evaluation of Stefan to praise him as showing amazing attention to detail, being a joy to work with, and having a positive office culture. Stefan calls her brilliant and kisses her. Stefan asks if they have to finish this now. Gabi points out that Nicole would walk in at any minute. Stefan tells her to work fast and kisses her neck as Gabi continues praising him. Gabi then says forget it and continues kissing Stefan instead.

Kayla tells Eric that it’s a patient’s file so he can’t see it. Marlena points out that they still need to get Eric treated. Kayla says she can do it, just not at this very minute. Marlena offers to stitch him up. Kayla agrees to text the attending physician. Eric hugs Kayla and says it’s good to have her back in Salem. Marlena says they will be waiting in her office as she and Eric then walk away.

Nicole doesn’t know why this is so hard to tell EJ. Nicole then lies and claims that Kayla just thinks she’s in the early stages of menopause. EJ questions that being it. Nicole says she was just upset as it came as such a surprise and she’s not ready. EJ tells Nicole that there is nothing that will make her less beautiful or desirable to him. Nicole jokes about having hot flashes. EJ is just relieved it’s not anything more serious. EJ asks if Nicole has now told him everything. Nicole claims she has and tells him not to worry about her because she’s healthy and that’s the truth. EJ is thankful as they hug.

Roman tells Chad that he drives himself nuts trying to figure out what the hell happened to Kate and then he worries that she’s out on a boat by herself and they don’t know where to look. Chad encourages that Harris has old friends that are coast guards helping him. Chad adds that Harris can do things that they can’t. Chad encourages that Kate has cheated death three times since this nightmare started and that he feels it in his bones that Kate is alive. Roman thanks Chad and hopes he’s right. Roman then apologizes, saying he has no right to lay his troubles on Chad of all people since he, John, and Steve got another chance with the women they love. Chad urges Roman to just keep the faith.

Dimitri tells Kate that he’s not calling Chad or anyone else that could track him on his phone. Kate asks if he hasn’t heard of a burner phone. Dimitri says he’s not ready to make his demands now as there are still many factors in play. Dimitri adds that Kate being here is not just random and is all part of a much larger plan. Kate asks why she can’t be in on the plan since she can’t tell anyone. Dimitri says all in good time, but for now, he suggests they tango. Kate pulls a knife on him and warns him not to touch her as she wouldn’t dance with him if he was the last person on Earth. Dimitri then opens the door and tells her to go back to the fish.

Gabi and Stefan finish their job evaluations and send them in. Gabi remarks that the board will now get a glowing review of Stefan from Nicole and a scathing review of EJ from her. Stefan jokes that the board could ignore both. Gabi calls it the first step in them running the company as they resume kissing until they decide to go upstairs.

EJ runs in to Eric at the hospital. Eric mentions getting stitches and asks what brought him here. EJ claims he was just getting his hand looked at. EJ adds that he and Nicole talked things through and both understand that their one night stand meant absolutely nothing to her, so they will pretend it didn’t happen. Eric says that sounds good to him.

Nicole listens to her voicemail from Eric and says his warning was too late, but she should probably delete it. Kayla then comes back and asks how it went with EJ. Nicole informs her that he knows she slept with Eric thanks to Sloan, but she didn’t tell him that she was pregnant and just claimed it was menopause. Nicole adds that she won’t tell Eric either because as of now, this has to be her decision. Kayla mentions running in to Eric at the nurses station but she didn’t even hint that Nicole was in the building. Nicole thanks Kayla and says she went through her calendar but she still doesn’t know who the father is, so she asks how long until she can find out. Kayla says in a few weeks, they can do a blood test but she will have to get a DNA sample from EJ or Eric. Kayla asks how she’s holding up. Nicole says there are so many things going through her head, but until she finds out who’s baby she is carrying, no one can know that she is pregnant aside from them.

Days of Our Lives Update

Stephanie brings Kayla back home to the hospital in Salem. Kayla calls it surreal to be there after thinking she’d never see the place again. Stephanie tells her to just wait until everybody sees her. Kayla calls it great to be back but admits she’s not thrilled that they left Steve and the others in Greece, especially since Bo’s future is in the air and Kate is still missing. Stephanie encourages that this is where Kayla needs to be. They talk about Seth Burns firing her while she was fighting for her life and plan to storm in to his office. Stephanie assures that Steve, Chad, and Roman will find Kate.

Chad reads a text from Stephanie that she landed safely in Salem and misses him already. Steve shows up at his door. Chad asks where Roman is. Steve says he’s at the hospital with Hope as they are talking to the doctors about moving Bo in to a long term facility. Chad feels for everything Roman is going through with his brother in a coma and his wife missing. Steve states that they need to lighten his load. Chad agrees that they need to come up with a plan to find and rescue Kate.

The man keeping Kate on his boat brings her breakfast and tells her to either eat it or die of starvation.

EJ runs in to Eric outside the Brady Pub. Eric asks if there’s a problem. EJ asks why he would think that. Eric tells EJ that he doesn’t have time for riddles and plans to head inside but EJ stops him and says they need to get a few things straight.

At the DiMera Mansion, Gabi checks on Nicole, who complains about cramps and says she needs help. Nicole says she’s in pain but Gabi accuses her of faking it.

Eric can’t think of anything he or EJ have to say to one another. EJ is not sure Sloan would agree. Eric asks if he’s talking about the laced biscuits and says Sloan had nothing to do with it. EJ shouts that Eric knows damn well it has nothing to do with the biscuits. EJ questions Eric acting like he doesn’t know why he’s calling him out. Eric says he has no idea what he’s talking about. EJ then reveals that he knows Eric had sex with Nicole and calls him a sanctimonious son of a bitch.

Nicole can’t believe Gabi is insulting her while she’s in pain. Nicole asks Gabi to help her before she passes out and dies. Gabi laughs it off and argues that Nicole just wants her to let her guard down so she forgets to send in her performance review of EJ. Gabi tells Nicole that it’s not going to happen. Nicole shouts that she doesn’t care and she needs to get to the hospital now.

Stephanie and Kayla come out from Seth Burns’ office and joke about Seth’s reaction to Stephanie warning Seth to reinstate Kayla. Kayla bets Seth did not expect her to fly in and call him out. They talk about having each others’ back. Kayla decides she better go do her job that they just got back. Stephanie says she’s happy for her while Kayla says she’s proud of her and they hug. Kayla encourages Stephanie to go home and rest which she agrees to do. Stephanie stops and says that she first has some unfinished business to tend to as Alex approaches.

Chad tells Steve that he’s game for whatever it takes to find Kate. Steve says that’s good but he thought Chad would’ve gone back to Salem with Stephanie and Kayla because he must be anxious to see his kids. Chad admits he misses them like crazy but declares that he’s not leaving without Kate because she’s the closest thing he has to a mother. Steve hopes they can bring Kate home safe to all the people who love her. There’s a knock at the door, so Chad answers it and is surprised to see Harris Michaels. Steve asks what the hell he is doing here.

Alex tells Stephanie that he didn’t know she was back from Greece. Stephanie says she just got in awhile ago. Alex mentions hearing that Kayla was alive. Kayla says it’s good to be back. Alex says that Justin will be pumped that she’s back home. Kayla hopes Justin and Bonnie are doing well which Alex confirms. Alex tells Kayla how truly sorry he is because he was the reason that Stephanie wasn’t there for Kayla’s last moments as he did something really selfish and he will feel guilty and terrible about it for the rest of his life. Kayla informs him that Stephanie told her what happened that day, but it turns out those were not her last moments that she missed and now she has time to share lots of moments with her family. Kayla appreciates and accepts Alex’s apology.

Harris asks to come in which Steve and Chad allow. Steve asks him again why he’s here. Harris responds that Andrew sent him as he thought he could be of help with the search for Kate. Steve remarks that he thought wrong because they don’t want him and they don’t need his help.

Kate reluctantly eats the food brought to her which the man on the boat laughs at. Kate asks when he’s going to let her off the ship. He responds that he doesn’t have the authority to give her an answer. Kate tells him to bring her to someone who does then.

Eric tells EJ that he should really be talking to Nicole about this. EJ says he’s talking to him and he wants answers. EJ asks if Eric is going to lie to his face. Eric questions EJ getting the information from Sloan. EJ remarks that at least Sloan had the decency to tell him what was going on. Eric argues that Sloan doesn’t know what she’s talking about as there is nothing going on with he and Nicole. EJ asks if he’s denying having sex with Nicole. Eric shouts that he’s not denying anything and then admits that he did have sex with EJ’s girlfriend.

Nicole tells Gabi that if she’s not going to take her to the hospital, she will call an ambulance. Gabi questions Nicole really being sick and decides to help her to the hospital.

Kate questions why she hasn’t met the man’s boss. He responds that his boss doesn’t like meeting people. Kate asks for a name but he tells her to just finish her breakfast. He shows off wearing Kate’s ring. Kate complains that her one phone call didn’t go through. The man remarks that he hasn’t decided if he wants to keep the ring, sell it, or give it to one of his girlfriends. Kate then grabs his hand and threatens to cut the ring off his finger.

Steve questions Harris being the reinforcements that Andrew said he was sending. Harris apologizes for disappointing him. Steve asks where Andrew is. Harris responds that he got called away on another case. Steve doesn’t know why Andrew thought they’d ever accept help from Harris. Steve complains that Harris is the guy who knew Bo was alive and kept it to himself. Chad tries to intervene but Harris says to let Steve say his piece. Steve argues that when he and Kayla were locked in the wine cellar, Harris didn’t lift a finger to help. Harris points out that he didn’t know they were down there. Steve says he knew they were missing and that Bo had to be involved, but he didn’t care. Steve says they can forget about he and Kayla and talk about Hope and how Harris didn’t tell her that Bo was alive. Steve declares that if Harris came forward sooner, his best friend wouldn’t be lying in a coma right now.

Kayla says the news of her return is spreading as she already has a patient. Stephanie says that patient has the best doctor ever. Kayla hugs her and says she loves her as she then walks away. Stephanie tells Alex that it was good of him to apologize to Kayla. Alex doesn’t expect for it to make up for what he did, but it meant a lot that she forgave him. Stephanie asks what Alex is doing at the hospital and if everything is okay. Alex responds that everything is fine and he was just going to his appointment with Marlena as he started therapy to work on his issues. Stephanie calls that great and a big step. Stephanie says she should get going as a lot of work piled up while she was in Greece. Stephanie tells Alex that she will see him around. Stephanie goes to leave but Alex stops her and asks her to wait a second.

EJ mocks Eric and the Brady family as being just as corrupt as the rest of them. Eric tells EJ to shut up for five minutes and let him explain. EJ questions what’s to explain when he already admitted to sleeping with Nicole. Eric tells EJ that they were high after eating those biscuits and weren’t thinking clearly. Eric argues that they were out of their minds and EJ should know since it happened to him. Eric adds that they knew it was a mistake as soon as it happened. EJ questions why they kept it a secret then. Eric responds that they knew he would blow it out of proportion because he’s an insecure asshole. EJ then grabs Eric and punches him down.

Kayla goes to see her patient which turns out to be Nicole. Nicole is shocked to see her despite hearing she was alive. Kayla knows it’s strange and says she’s been getting that a lot today. Kayla asks what’s going on with Nicole. Nicole tells her about the cramps and she doesn’t think it’s a bug or food poisoning. Kayla asks if it could be menstrual cramps. Nicole says she doesn’t really get cramps like these but she is due for her period. Nicole checks her calendar and realizes that she’s late. Nicole calls it really strange since her OB/GYN gave her a new birth control last year. Kayla asks if she’s been under any extra stress recently. Nicole admits to scheming with EJ against Stefan and Gabi. Nicole starts to complain about feeling hot and that she’s starting to sweat. Kayla goes over Nicole’s period being late, having cramps, and now hot flashes. Nicole asks what she’s getting at. Kayla thinks Nicole may be entering menopause.

Eric guesses he had that coming and repeats to EJ that he and Nicole were hallucinating when they slept together. Eric brings up punching EJ a few weeks ago so he guesses this makes them even. EJ responds that they are far from even. Eric asks if he wants to keep this going. EJ says that he does. Eric remarks that his first punch was free but the second one’s going to cost him. Eric then heads inside to the Brady Pub.

Kate threatens to cut the man’s finger with the knife she used to cut the fish. He pleads with her and asks what she wants. Kate responds that she wants to see his boss.

Harris tells Steve that he totally understands how he feels, so he will go. Harris wishes them luck in the search. Chad stops Harris but Steve says to let him go because they can’t trust him and they don’t need him. Chad asks what if Harris is their best chance to find Kate. Chad adds that if it wasn’t for Harris, he and Stephanie would’ve been killed by Thomas Banks, so he thinks they should reconsider.

Alex tells Stephanie that he’d like to ask her something before she goes. Stephanie guesses that he wants to know if she’s let him off the hook since Kayla did. Alex says that’s not what he wanted to ask. Alex says pressuring her or trying to guilt her in to letting him off the hook is what the old Alex would’ve done, but the new Alex is learning that just because he has remorse for all of his actions, doesn’t mean that the people he hurt need to forgive him. Stephanie asks why he stopped her just now then. Alex responds that he needs her help. Alex doesn’t like to admit when he needs help, but calls it a special case. Stephanie asks what’s going on. Alex informs her that Maggie is heading to Greece with Victor to be with Bo. Stephanie understands they must be out of their minds with worry. Alex says that with Maggie gone, she left him in charge of a crucial deal that they have been working on for months and he’s a little anxious about it. Alex says he really can’t afford to screw this up. Stephanie asks what this has to do with her and how she can help. Alex informs her that he has a meeting tomorrow to pitch all of their strategies to all the parties involved. Alex says he’s been cramming his brain full of data but he would feel a lot more confident if he had her by his side.

Steve tells Harris that he’s grateful to him for stopping Thomas Banks from hurting Stephanie, but it wasn’t long ago that Harris put Stephanie’s life in danger with the exploding pizza box. Harris responds that he’s still haunted by what he did to Steve and John’s families. Chad reminds Steve that Harris was under Megan’s control when he did those things, just like Steve and John were in Hong Kong. Chad says they have both been there. Steve asks what about the things that Harris has done since then when under his own free will. Harris admits he knew what he was doing when he didn’t tell Hope the truth about Bo and has to live with that regret. Chad asks if Harris is here to make amends. Harris explains that Andrew thought if he helped find Kate, it could give him a small chance at redemption but he understands why they wouldn’t want his help. Chad doesn’t care if it helps them find Kate. Chad points out that Harris was a Navy SEAL so he could be their best bet to help. Harris agrees that his skills could be valuable and asks what Steve says.

Kate continues threatening to cut the man’s finger off if he doesn’t take her to his boss. He warns that his boss is very dangerous and does not want to be disturbed but then agrees to take her to him.

Gabi sits at the DiMera Mansion, reading an article about Kate being alive but missing. EJ comes home and calls out for Nicole, asking if she’s there because he saw her car in the garage. Gabi informs EJ that Nicole is not there so EJ asks where she went.

Nicole tells Kayla that she’s too young for menopause. Kayla says not necessarily since it’s not uncommon in your 40s. Nicole guesses she knew that but that she’s not ready for it, psychologically. Kayla encourages that maybe it’s not menopause and offers to run tests to get to the bottom of this which Nicole agrees to.

Stephanie questions Alex if wanting her at this meeting is another scheme to get them closer together. Alex swears it has nothing to do with that. Alex says that he and Maggie have been butting heads like crazy so he feels like this is his last chance to prove himself to her. Alex promises that him needing Stephanie’s help is legit and strictly business. Alex adds that he knows she is with Chad so he respects her relationship and boundaries. Stephanie asks what she would need to do at this meeting. Alex says he would just need her by his side, to keep him on track and help make sure he hits all the talking points that Maggie already approved. Alex declares that there’s nobody else for the job because Stephanie is the best. Alex truly thinks that his career at Titan depends on it. Stephanie acknowledges that Titan is still one of her biggest clients so this deal would be a big win for SJPR. Stephanie agrees to help him. Alex excitedly thanks her and stops himself from hugging her, then says he’s learning about boundaries. Stephanie says she will see him tomorrow. Alex promises she won’t regret it and thanks her again as she walks away.

Steve guesses they are in no position to turn down help, considering how short handed they are. Harris asks if that means he’s part of the team. Steve states that he’s working with the team for now, but warns that he will have his eye on him and swears to take Harris down, himself, if he pulls anything.

The man on the boat brings Kate to see his boss and tells her to wait there as he exits the room. The door then opens and Kate is shocked by who she sees.

Eric sits in the Pub with an ice pack on his face from EJ’s punch. Eric calls Nicole, but she ignores it because Kayla comes back to her hospital room and announces that she has news. Eric leaves a voicemail for Nicole to call him as soon as she gets it because EJ knows and he’s on a warpath.

EJ asks Gabi if she knows where Nicole is. Gabi responds that there’s so many possibilities as she could be reminiscing on old times with Rafe or sharing hot steamy chowder with Eric at the Pub. Gabi jokes that Nicole has so many exes that it’s hard to keep up. Gabi tells EJ not to bother calling Nicole because with how she’s feeling, she doubts she will pick up. EJ questions what the hell she is talking about. Gabi informs EJ that Nicole is at the hospital.

Nicole asks Kayla what the news is. Kayla announces that Nicole is not going through menopause which Nicole calls a relief. Kayla then reveals that it’s because Nicole is pregnant.
