She hit him in the back of the head. Susan told Xander that Kristen was the one who told him about Sarah. Sami was checking different keys to open the door to the cabin. She broke the key off in the door. Abe and Eli talked about what happened at the wedding. Lani went to see Kristen at the station. She told her what happened with Paulina. Kristen was sorry about what she told her. Kristen wanted to know how she knew Abe was her father. She told her what Tamara told her. Lani felt connected to Abe when she first met him. Sami found the captor’s phone. She tried to call someone for help. She wondered which number she new by heart. Allie and Lucas talked about what was going on with Marlena. Sami got in touch with Allie. Allie wanted to know where she was.

Abe and Eli continued to talk about what Pauline said. Eli wondered what Tamara said. Abe said that he was the only one Tamara was involved with at the time. Kristen tried to make Lani feel better about Abe not being her biological father. Allie told Lucas that Sami was kidnapped. He couldn’t believe it and took the phone from her. He demanded to know what happened. Ava tried to get Kristen out of jail. The cops weren’t intimidated by her. Gwen told them to ask Carmine. Ava said that she had people watching their families. Ava wanted to know if they were going to cooperate or was she couldn’t to give Gwen her orders. Rafe brought Xander to see Kristen. Xander confronted her about pretending to be Sarah. She said she might have been trying to help him. He didn’t believe it. He thought she had something to do with her dumping him. Kristen said she didn’t have any influence on Sarah. Xander wanted answers when Rafe’s phone went off. Rafe was ready to take her to prison, but Kristen stalled him. Sami told Lucas what happened to her. She wanted his help. She said she call her mother, but she had her own problems. Ava was able to convince the guards to let Kristen go. Lucas was finally able to get the location and was going to get her.

He said it hurt to know that he could have had a future with her if it weren’t for Philip. Chloe talked to Philip about him seeing her go to the Salem Inn with Brady. She told him that Lucas was how she found out about it. She wanted to know why he didn’t talk to her about it. John was determined to get in Ben and Ciara’s place. He wanted to find Marlena. Ben wanted him to leave. John said he was going to stop her once and for all. He was going to kill the devil. Shawn called Belle and told her that John was gone. She wanted to know what he meant by that. He said he couldn’t find him. He walked back in the room and saw John on the floor. The other John was trying to get in the room with Ben and Ciara. Ciara told him to close the door. Mardevil pretended to be John.

Brady told Maggie about the advice Marlena gave him about Chloe. She was shocked Marlena would tell him to take Chloe on a conference room table. He said that he didn’t take her advice. He didn’t want to keep badmouthing her stepson. She said she wanted them to be happy. Philip said he didn’t tell Chloe about seeing her because he trusted her. Chloe confessed to him that she thought he was going to get jealous. She said she was relieved that he trusted her. He said he learned his lesson. John was admitted in the hospital. Steve talked to Shawn about Marlena getting away from him. He wondered why he didn’t handcuff her. He didn’t think she could get away from him that fast. Mardevil talked to Ben and Ciara about John. She made it seem like something was wrong with John. She said they had to leave town. Ben was surprised she wanted them to leave town with her. She was afraid John would find her. Mardevil realized they had to think about their family. She wanted to give them a chance to talk. Ciara said they couldn’t leave town. Ben told her that she saw the way John was acting. Mardevil told Susan that she was going to kill John. Steve was shocked to find out that Marlena was dressed as the devil. He explained that she wanted to pay her respects for him. He told her that he wanted to go in, but she stopped him. Susan didn’t want to kill John. Marldevil threatened to kill EJ if she didn’t want to kill him. Mardevil said she would carve him like a Thanksgiving Day turkey. Julie told Kayla that she refused to take Doug back to the hospital. Paulina said that she was going to tell Lani the truth. She expressed how much she meant to her. Paulina didn’t want to focus on Marlena. She wanted to think about the holiday.

Julie tried to get Doug to talk to her. She sang the song that he used to sing to her. Belle talked to Shawn about Doug’s condition. She told him how Doug talked to John about Marlena being the one who hurt him. Susan didn’t know how she could kill someone. John tried to stop Susan from talking. He knew she was afraid for her son. Mardevil was about to go in the townhouse when Paulina had a bone to pick with her. Paulina confronted her about telling her secret. She said she was trying to explain to tell Chanel the truth because she didn’t feel valued. John told Susan that the devil wasn’t going to kill EJ. She couldn’t take the risk so she tried to kill John. Paulina planned on suing Marlena. Mardevil said she wanted to ruin her career because Chanel destroyed her wedding. She said that she wouldn’t have Abe or her family back. Mardevil tried to walk away, but Paulina grabbed her arm to stop her. Mardevil’s eyes turned yellow when she looked at her. When she got off the phone, she said they got a compassionate judge who didn’t want to wait. Julie had her power of attorney and could see Doug. Steve told Kayla that he was sent under a wild goose chase looking for John. Marlena went to see Steve and Kayla. She said she was busy with work. She told them about Abe’s wedding. Steve wanted to call Abe. Kayla told Marlena to let Julie see Doug. Marlena said she couldn’t do that. Steve asked her to help him find John. Marlena said she didn’t know where he was. She said she had to respect the fact that he’s was working. She said he would come back to her. Steve and Kayla were shocked at the way she was acting.

She told her that she didn’t know where she was. She was taken to a cabin. She explained where she’s been. She said she was gone since August. Marlena told her that she was texting her. Sami said it wasn’t her. Devil Kristen refused to give up on John. He told her that he made her tired. Devil Kristen said that she was stimulated by his rejection. She changed into a different outfit. Nicole asked EJ for his help with her divorce papers. He was willing to take her out in exchange for his help. Sami told Marlena that she was able to steal the phone from someone. Marlena told her that she wasn’t the only one in trouble. Devil Kristen threw herself at John, but he told her that he couldn’t do anything while he was still tied up. She wondered if he really meant that or if he was trying to escape. Ava and Gabi had a mini catfight. They both wanted Rafe to get involved. Gabi and Jake ended up leaving. Ava let him know that she was insecure about him and Ava. He said they were past that. Susan got to the DiMera mansion, but the devil turned her back to a cat before anyone saw her. John asked the devil if she has been successful at destroying lives. The devil said she ruined Abe’s wedding. She said John’s soul would be hers. She changed into Kristen. She brought up the first tine they made love. She said it was passionate. She said their perfect time came to an end. She said he still wanted her despite everything. She wanted him to admit he still loved her. Marlena woke up with chains around her wrists. The devil was out of her. She tried to reach her phone, but she had trouble. When she did reach her phone, she didn’t have a signal. The phone rang. Abe told Roman that Paulina was Lani’s mother, but he wasn’t her father. Roman tried to see it from Paulina’s point of view. Abe asked if he was defending her. Abe said it was tough for her, but that didn’t justify what she’s done since coming to Salem. Abe said he hated that he trusted her. He blamed himself for being stupid. Roman said he wasn’t stupid. He said he was in love. Roman told Abe Paulina didn’t tell the truth because she was protecting him. Abe wasn’t buying it. He said she didn’t get to be the hero of the story. Roman said nothing would change Abe’s relationship with Lani or his grandchildren. Abe thanked him for listening. He said he wanted to be alone. Lani slapped Paulina. Paulina said she vowed to never let anyone hit her again, but after what she did, she deserved it. Lani yelled at her for taking her family away. Paulina said Lani’s father was dangerous. She said she wanted to keep Lani safe.

Paulina said Tamara agreed to the plan, but she wanted to raise Lani as her own. Paulina said she didn’t have a choice but to agree to it. Lani said she kept that promise. They went back and forth with each other when Paulina said she changed her mind when Lani was born. Paulina said Olivia told her giving up her baby was the right thing. Paulina said she had a midwife cut a lock of Lani’s hair to keep forever. Paulina said she did the right thing. She said Lani’s life with Tamara was better than the life she would have had with her. Lani asked Paulina if the gifts she gave to her and the twins were to make up for what she did. Paulina said that was part of the reason. She said she loved Lani and her grandchildren. She said she wanted to be in their lives. Lani asked how she thought it was okay to keep a big lie. Paulina said she came close to telling her. She wasn’t able to pick the lock. He said she might have better luck trying to open the door. She went to the door and tried to unlock it. At the wedding, Chanel said she had something to say. Paulina thought she was upset about not being maid of honor. Paulina said she told her why she asked Lani. Chanel said she asked Lani because she’s her daughter. Paulina told Chanel to sit down. The guests were shocked. Chanel told Lani they weren’t cousins they were sisters. Abe wanted to know who told her that. She didn’t want to tell him. She demanded Paulina confirm it. They didn’t think it looked like something John and Marlena would own. Belle remembered Susan being there so it could be hers. Belle got a call about a case so they left. She wanted to make Marlena leave them. Rafe apologized to Ava for what happened between her and Gabi. EJ and Nicole were about the make love when she tried to stop him. She said Allie and Henry were in the next room. She stopped him again because she felt like a bigger slut than she did. Gwen tried to understand what Kristen did to pretend to be Sarah. He was surprised he had competition. He said that he didn’t have an ego and they weren’t exclusive. He didn’t think she should feel bad about it. Nicole said that she was with someone she knew. She said he wasn’t anything like him. EJ figured out that she slept with Rafe. Xander wanted Maggie to talk to Jack about Gwen. Maggie told him that she knew Abby since she was born. Gwen told Melinda that she was willing to suffer the consequences of confessing to Jack about her miscarriage if it meant Xander could get his money back. Melinda was willing to call her bluff. She said she knew her secret was exposed. She said Xander called her and let her know about Gwen. A guard brought Kristen to the interrogation room. She overheard Gwen talking to Melinda. Kristen heard Gwen say Xander was all she had left. Gwen said he has been there for her when no one else has. She asked Melinda to let Xander get his money back. Melinda said she couldn’t help her. Melinda saw Kristen. Melinda told her Brady didn’t want to see her. Melinda walked off. Kristen was brought in the interrogation room. She told Gwen she was going to break her out of there. Xander went to see Jack in order to defend Gwen. Jack said there would always be a place in his heart for Gwen, but he would never forgive her for what she did to Abby. He said he wouldn’t forgive Xander either. Xander said he was protecting him. Xander said he didn’t want to hurt him. Jack told him to look how that came out. Xander told Jack he has been a bad friend. He said he was looking out for Gwen. He said he loved her. Jack said God help them both. Xander reminded him that he has been given many second chances himself. He said if he couldn’t do it for Gwen, she was better off without him. Abby talked to Chad about her conversation with Jack. She said she never wanted to take Gwen from Jack. Chad said all she did was tell the truth. He said it was on Gwen. He said he was glad they could heal. He said they had trust issues to work on, but he was hopeful. Abby did too. Marlena brought Susan (as a cat) to see John. John asked Marlena why she brought a cat in there. She said she thought he would want to see an old friend. Marlena changed the cat. Susan was wrapped around John’s leg. John yelled at Susan until she stopped being a cat.

Susan tried to reach out to Marlena by bringing up John’s love. The devil came out. Susan got on her knees and started praying. John tried to reach out to Marlena. He told her it was their anniversary. He said he would never give up on her. He told her to fight for them. Marlena and Susan passed out. Marlena was back in control. She saw John tied up. She said she would get him out of there. She said it would be okay. Susan stood up. Her eyes were yellow. She told Marlena that it wouldn’t be okay. The devil said Susan’s connection to the spirit world gave them access to her body. Marlena told Susan not to hurt John. Susan threw her across the room and told her she couldn’t stop her. Susan told John they wouldn’t hurt Marlena because they had things to accomplish. John told the devil he was going to stop him. The devil said it was time to get John out of the equation. John said they could kill him, but they would never kill his and Marlena’s love. Susan said there was a better way to break Marlena’s spirit than by killing her. She said he was going to have him betray Marlena in the worst way. He said he would never betray Marlena for another woman. He said he certainly wouldn’t do it for Susan. Susan asked what about his old flame Kristen. It turned out to be Eileen Davidson as Kristen.

Philip was upset about Chloe’s conversation with Brady. He broke a glass in his hand. Later he ended up talking to Victor. Victor told Philip that he found out from Trask that he was in cahoots with Ava. Philip said he didn’t have a choice. He said he had to get rid of Jake and Gabi. Victor said he was a moron and fired him. Philip asked Victor if Brady was taking his place. Philip said Brady took his girl and now he was taking his job. Victor thought it was funny that he thought Brady was sleeping with Chloe. Philip said he hoped whoever ran Titan would burn it down. He said he hoped Victor watched it blow up in flames. Brady and Chloe talked about Nicole and Rafe having sex on the conference room table. He told her to make sure Philip knew nothing happened between them. She said Philip wouldn’t confront him about it because he trusts her. He got a message from Kristen’s lawyer. She wanted to see him. Brady thought Kristen wanted to see Rachel. He said he couldn’t let Kristen back in their lives. Brady left a message saying he didn’t want to see or hear from her. He thanked Chloe for her help. He said she was a good friend.

Trask went to the interrogation room to make a deal with Jake. She said she would drop the charges if he would say Philip was blackmailing her. He took the deal. When Trask left to get the paperwork, an officer brought Ava in the room. Gabi rubbed it in to Ava that Jake was free because he made a deal. She said Ava would never get out. Ava said she was innocent. Gabi said no one would believe her about Charlie. A police officer brought Jake papers to sign before Jake and Gabi left. Trask met with Ava. Ava said she was lying about Charlie. She said she was the one who killed Carmine. She said she killed him in self-defense. Trask didn’t believe her. Ava was going to use her family name. Ava said she would walk on murder charges. She told her to quit while she was okay. Jake and Gabi went back to Rafe’s house. They saw the outline of tape where Carmine’s brother. They talked about whether or not Charlie and Nick were alive. Ava came in the house and told Gabi that she took her advice and told Trask what she wanted. Abby went to see Jack. He said he told Gwen he would never understand what she did to her. He said he hoped she got the message that she wasn’t welcomed. He said he couldn’t stand what Gwen did to her. He said he really couldn’t stand the fact she did it with his help. Abby said she was okay. Jack told Abby that Gwen was still his daughter and he would still love her, but he wasn’t going to have his family accept her. He said she was his problem. Abby brought up what led to Gwen falling down the stairs. She told him to give Gwen another chance. He said he wouldn’t do it. Gwen told Xander what happened with Jack. She told him that Abby said she wasn’t capable of loving anyone. He asked if that left them friends. She said she didn’t want to deal with real feelings. She said she never should have come to town. Susan said she wasn’t going anywhere. Mardevil grabbed her arm and she realized she was the evil she felt when she held Ciara’s stomach. Ciara thought that Susan might be off her game. She told Ben that Susan might have her wires crossed. Ben thought she meant the premonition was for someone else. Ciara didn’t know why anyone would want to harm their baby. Mardevil said that she wasn’t the evil force. Susan didn’t believe her. She said they weren’t friends. She said she knew the truth and that she was the devil incarnate. Abe thought Paulina didn’t want to marry him because she kept trying to postpone the wedding. She said she wanted to marry him, but he was shot. He said he was well enough to marry her. He knew not to take one minute for granted. Ben tried to convince Ciara that Susan was right about her premonitions. She said it was comforting. Shawn and Belle showed up to see Ciara and Ben. Shawn noticed the look on Ciara’s face and he wanted to make sure she was okay. Ciara told them about Susan’s visit. Susan didn’t believe Mardevil was the real Marlena. She wanted to talk to Marlena. Paulina told Mardevil that she had to keep her secret about Abe not being Lani’s father. Mardevil told her that her marriage would be doomed if she didn’t tell them. She said that might not be up to her. Paulina heard Susan moan and wanted to know what the noise was. Mardevil tried to play it off as if she didn’t hear anything so Paulina looked behind the couch and reacted. It turned out to be a cat. Mardevil said the cat wasn’t doing well and she may have to put her down. Paulina hoped Mardevil didn’t tell her secret. She said she wouldn’t say anything, but she still wanted to officiate the wedding.

Ava told him that Charlie did it. He reminded her that Charlie was dead. Gabi found Jake passed out on the ground. She was able to get him to wake up. Jake wanted to know what happened. She asked him if he was okay. Jake wanted to know if he was in a coffin. Gabi blamed herself for what happened to him. She said that Nick was the one who tried to kill him. Nicole told Rafe that Deimos was in the office with her. Rafe didn’t see him so she tried to convince him that he was there. She told him how she stabbed Deimos with a pair of scissors. She said he was there when she called him. Rafe wanted to make sure he got the story straight. He told her that there wasn’t any blood on the scissors. He wanted to know why Deimos would go after her. He wanted to know why he would go after her. She said he wanted revenge. Nicole told him that she rejected Deimos and that’s why he wanted revenge. Rafe found that hard to believe. She wanted him to go to Ava. He said he couldn’t do it because she was being questioned for murder. Ava told Shawn that she was innocent of Carmine’s murder. Gabi demanded to know why Rafe was keeping Jake at the station when Carmine was the real shooter. She said that Ava knew where Carmine was. Gabi talked to him about Ava and Philip being involved with bringing Carmine to town. Rafe wanted to know why Ava would do that. She told him that Ava wanted to run her company. Jake said that she was telling the truth. Rafe asked them why they didn’t say anything to him. She didn’t think he would believe her. He decided to see Abe and wanted Jake to go back to his cell. Carmine threatened Ava to help him. She warned him not to threaten her. Mardevil conjured up Charlie from the dead. She thought he should have been grateful for being brought back. Mardevil went to Nick’s headstone and felt he could help her. Carmine was about to kill Ava when Charlie stabbed him.

Charlie expected Ava to be grateful that he was there. She was scared when he started stalking her. He knew she only cared about Tripp. She denied it, but he didn’t believe her. He grabbed a knife to kill her, but she pushed him away. Abe continued to ask about the man he would approve of Nicole seeing when Rafe appeared. He showed up so Abe could sign a statement about what happened to him. Gabi and Jake talked about his innocence. She knew he didn’t kill anyone. She said she killed someone. She told him that she killed Nick twice. Mardevil conjured up Nick. She enjoyed how he looked and kissed him. She asked him what he would do if he had one more day. He wanted to avenge his death. He wanted to go after Gabi. Rafe asked Nicole if Ava was involved with the mob again. He informed her about his conversation with Gabi. He thought he was being a fool with her. Mardevil wanted to conjure up someone else to do her bidding. She conjured up Deimos. She wanted him to right all of the wrongs done to him. She wanted him to go after Nicole for killing him. She said she wore the costume for his movie. Johnny tried to go inside the crypt. Marlena stopped him from going in there. She asked why he was there. He told her that a Ouija board told him to be there. He asked to take a picture of her in her costume. He said Allie didn’t believe in the supernatural. He wanted to prove the devil was there. He heard a noise inside. She said she didn’t hear anything. John was messing with the chains so he could get free. Marlena told Johnny she would catch up with him.

Chanel showed up and wanted to know the answer too. Lani left so they could talk. Paulina apologized to Chanel. Paulina said she asked Lani because of everything they have been through with Abe. When Victor got off the phone with Melinda, Jack showed up. He asked Victor about the deal she made with the D.A. Victor asked why he was interested. Jack said Xander was his friend and Justin would always be family to him. He said Gwen was his daughter. Victor told him Gwen wasn’t part of the deal. Victor told Jack he was looking out for his family. He said he wasn’t worried about anyone else. Jack said Xander and Justin cared about the women he was leaving behind. He told Victor they would stay in prison unless he got them out. Victor wouldn’t change his mind. He told Jack he hired Steve to find Kristen for Melinda. Melinda brought Gwen to the interrogation room to see Xander. Melinda said they had 30 minutes. Gwen told Xander to save himself. He said he wasn’t going to abandon her. He said Victor made a deal that was going to save all of them. Xander told Gwen that he let Justin know she wasn’t a prostitute. He said he didn’t tell Justin about her miscarriage. EJ left a message for Nicole. He wanted her to come to the DiMera mansion. Kristen showed up. He wanted to know why she was there. She slapped him. She said it was his fault Steve was able to trace her based on the number she gave him. He said he didn’t give the number to Steve. EJ told Kristen about his encounter with Steve and Kayla. He realized someone else was at the dinner. He said it was a business associate. Kristen told him to hide her until it was over or she would take him down with her. He said she could go in the wine cellar. She wanted to go see Rachel. EJ was shocked. She said she wanted to see her daughter. Chloe and Nicole ran into each other. Nicole told her what was going on with Abe. Chloe told her she moved out of the Kiriakis mansion. EJ called Nicole, but she didn’t answer it. Nicole called the hospital and found out Abe was stable. She said he would be around for years. Paulina talked about when she met him. She couldn’t believe she was engaged to him after eight months. She said she couldn’t lose him. Kayla tried to save Abe. Eli came in just as Abe flatlined. Kayla told Eli that Abe was gone. Eli wanted her to do something. She said she wasn’t going to give up. She continued to try and save him. Eli went back to Paulina, Lani and Abe. Paulina asked if Abe was going to be okay. Eli told them they were working on Abe. Lani wanted to wait to call Theo and Brandon, but she didn’t want to wait. Lani called Theo. Julie comforted Paulina. Julie told her about not being able to see Doug. Paulina was furious. She said she would get Julie a lawyer. Julie appreciated it. John was shocked when Marlena confirmed his suspicion that she was possessed again. He put his hand near holy water so he could splash her, but she was prepared for it. She put her hand in the water. The water turned red. The devil said Marlena couldn’t stand to watch Doug die so she let him in. John wanted to know why Satan wanted Marlena again. The devil said he waited years to do it. He said he got his chance by using Doug. John figured out that Doug did those things to Julie. The devil said he took care of Doug, but now that John knows the truth, it was a problem. John said he beat the devil once he was going to do it again. He said he was getting his wife back. He told Marlena not to surrender. The devil said she couldn’t hear him. Marlena said she could hear him. She said his love was making her stronger. The devil raised his hand and flew John across the room. The devil stepped over John and said he was waiting a long time for that. The devil picked up a candleholder and lifted it up. Marlena told him not to kill John. The devil gave in but didn’t want to leave him there.

She used a lot of medical terms about what happened. Julie said Marlena wasn’t compassionate. She said Marlena’s eyes were cold. Julie said she didn’t know her anymore. Abe got shot in the park. Jake went over to help him. Carmine threw the gun on the ground and left. Jake called for help. Rafe showed up with the paramedics. He noticed the gun on the ground and arrested Jake. Gabi ran into Carmine. She recognized him. She thought Philip sent him. Carmine said Jake had bigger problems. Rafe called Eli and told him about Abe. Eli left to call Lani. Marlena said she would drive Julie home. Julie didn’t want to leave. Marlena said they should pray at St. Luke’s. Julie pulled out a rosary. Marlena told her to put it away. Julie apologized to her. He said he would do anything to make sure she was happy. Jake and Gabi ran into Ben and Ciara. When Ciara and Gabi walked away, Jake showed Ben his gun. Jake told him what was going with Philip. Ben said there was a better way to handle it. Jake said he wasn’t going to kill anyone. He said he needed the gun to persuade Carmine to keep quiet. Jake got a text from Carmine. Carmine wanted to meet him. Ben wanted to go with him. Jake didn’t want him to go. Jake left to meet Carmine. Ciara told Gabi she wanted to work for her at Gabi Chic. Gabi told her Philip fired her. Ben showed up. Gabi asked him where Jake was and he was nervous about it. Julie went to John and Marlena’s place. Julie demanded to see Doug. Marlena said Doug was dangerous. She said he was right. He wanted to know why she was there. Justin talked to Xander about his career being over. Xander felt bad for getting him in trouble. Xander told him that he was worried about Gwen. He said she wasn’t as tough as she seemed. Justin wanted to know what Dr. Snyder had on her. Bonnie was surprised that Gwen tried to sleep with the judge. Gwen said she wasn’t going to sleep with him. She wanted to get him on tape agreeing to sleep with her. She said Xander did a lot for her. She wondered what he did for her. Marlena told Johnny that she would allow him to film the movie on her. He was excited to get started on it. John was confused by what happened. John wanted to know what got into her for agreeing to let Johnny film her possession. John told Marlena that she’s been exhausted ever since the thing with Doug started. He didn’t understand why she was willing to allow Johnny to film the most personal story of her life. She told him that she said that he could do the movie and she meant it. She said it wasn’t for Johnny. She thought about the conversation she had with the devil. Trask said she visited Victor because he asked her to be there. She was determined to throw the book at Justin, Xander, Gwen and Bonnie. He didn’t care about the women. He was worried about his nephews. Gwen told Bonnie what happened and how Justin got arrested too.

Justin asked Xander again why Dr. Snyder blackmailed Gwen. Xander tried to defend her to Justin. He didn’t want to screw up her relationship with her father. Justin realized that she lied about being a sex worker because what she did was worse than that. Xander said he wouldn’t say anything. Justin realized Xander knew her secret and that he would do anything to keep it from coming out. Bonnie was upset and blamed herself for what happened to Justin. She felt bad that she ruined Justin’s life the same way she ruined Adrienne’s life. Justin told Xander that Gwen lied to Jack again and deserved to know the truth. Xander didn’t want Jack to know the truth. He wanted Justin to forget the conversation happened. Trask wanted to know what Victor wanted from her to get his nephews out of jail. She wanted something worth it to keep them from going to jail. She wanted a higher profile criminal. He was way ahead of her. John and Marlena continued to go back and forth about whether the movie should be made about her possession. John thought he was being overprotective, but he remembered how he almost lost her. He said she was on edge ever since Johnny decided to make the movie. He didn’t want to see what she would go through once he made the movie.

Rafe and Nicole nearly kissed when EJ interrupted them. EJ wondered how Ava would feel about what they were about to do. Rafe and EJ got in an argument. Nicole got in the middle of it. She told Rafe leave. EJ told her it was a good thing he showed up. He said he saved her from herself. She said she didn’t need him to save her. She said he kept her from making a mistake. She said she didn’t want to come between Rafe and Ava. She said she wanted to kiss Rafe. EJ told her to kiss him instead. They kissed each other.

Philip punched Brady when he saw him and Chloe hugging. She yelled at Philip. Philip wanted to know why he was the bad guy. Philip and Brady got in an argument. Brady wanted Philip out of his office. Philip asked Chloe to come with him so they could talk. She told him to leave. When Philip left, Chloe told Brady that she didn’t think Philip could change. She said it was up to her to fix things. Brady asked what she was going to do. She said she had to do something now before someone got hurt. Marlena told John she dreamt that she levitated. She heard someone talking to her, but she didn’t see anyone. She said she hadn’t heard the voice in years. She said it was the devil. He was distraught, but he reassured her it was a dream. She told him that the devil wanted Ben’s baby. She wanted to get to Ben.

When Marlena left, Johnny showed up to see John. Johnny told him EJ was funding the movie and playing John. Johnny said he needed Marlena’s permission. John said he didn’t think that would happen. John said the movie upset Marlena. He said she had a dream she was levitating. He said if he loved Marlena, he would forget about the movie. Marlena went to see Ben. He told her he took her advice. He said he and Ciara were trying to make a baby. He said he was feeling good about it until a gust of wind happened. He said it felt like an omen. She said it might have been. Ben asked Marlena if she thought he and Ciara shouldn’t have a baby. Marlena’s phone went off before she could answer. She saw a devil emoji talking to her. He said the plans for Ben’s baby are theirs. She put her phone up and told Ben that the omen could have been a good one. When Marlena was about to open her door, the emoji congratulated her for not telling Ben about the plan. He said he felt her giving in to him. He said they were almost one. When she went in the apartment, Johnny said he wasn’t going to do the movie. He said it was a bad idea. She said it wasn’t a bad idea. She told him to make the movie. John and Johnny were shocked.
