Rex was upset with Kate for telling Sarah to leave him. Sarah got a shock when she saw Susan at the town square. Sarah couldn’t believe that Susan was alive. She told her that it was all over the news that she was back. EJ wondered if she was okay. Sarah was upset with Xander for her death. Xander showed up at Sloan’s place. Eric wanted to know why he was there. He said Sloan was his lawyer. Sloan confirmed it. Rex told Kate that he wanted to stay with Sarah. He didn’t appreciate Kate talking to Sarah. She said she was looking out for him. He reminded her that it was his idea to help Sarah. Kate told him that Xander wanted to see his daughter. She told him that he was going to get hurt in the end. She advised him to agree to the divorce. Sarah couldn’t believe that Xander wasn’t a killer. Sloan defended Sarah to Xander. He thought that she would look bad if it came out that she lied about the baby’s paternity. He said she did it before. Sloan wanted to know how Sarah lied about the baby. He told her that Sarah did the same thing to Eric that she did to him. He thought that made her a bad mother. Sloan wondered if Xander hated her, and he said he did. Kate was afraid Rex was going to spend his life pining after someone who won’t love him. Sarah overheard Kate and Rex talking about her. Kate asked Sarah about wanting a divorce. Rex wanted Kate to leave. Kate wanted her to leave Rex alone. Sarah told Rex that Susan was alive.

Susan talked to EJ about how excited Sarah was when she found out that Xander didn’t kill her. EJ reminded her about the terrible things that Xander, Ava and Harris did. She said Xander was nice to her. He thought Xander was still a bad person. Susan made him promise not to hurt them. He said that he wouldn’t hurt them. She wanted him to promise her that he wouldn’t them because she wasn’t going to be there. Sloan let Xander know that they were going to have a hard time winning the case because she was a good mother. He didn’t think a woman like her deserved a second chance. Rex decided to give Sarah what she wanted. He was going to pack his things to leave town. Susan reminded EJ that she had a husband waiting for her in Memphis. Sloan talked to Eric about Sarah. He told her how he felt about that. He didn’t think what she did was right, and it hurt a lot of people. Sarah let Xander know that she and Rex were breaking up. She also told him that she saw Susan. Susan and EJ talked about someone else helping Edmund kidnap her. He wanted to know who it could have been. There was a shot of someone holding a tablet. He read about Susan being alive.

Tate told Nicole about a girl that he met that turned him down. She tried to make him feel better about what happened. He told her that her name was Holly, and she was surprised. Marlena went to see Harris at the station. She told him that Susan thought he was a hero for saving her. He didn’t think he was a hero. He was worried about Ava. Susan and EJ showed up at the station and saw Ava handcuffed to a chair. Nicole asked Tate about the girl he met. She let him know that she was her daughter. Holly was happy when she sat with Johnny until Chanel came back. Holly was disappointed when she found out that Johnny was back together with Chanel. Marlena told Harris that Ava was in trouble before they were on the lam. He wanted to help her. Harris told Marlena that Ava felt like no one would believe her so they had to prove that Susan was still alive. Marlena wanted to know why he went to so much trouble to help Ava. EJ wanted to press charges against Ava. She reminded him that she was the reason why Susan was in Salem. They started arguing until Rafe broke them up. EJ told him that Susan wanted to press charges, but Susan said she didn’t want to do that. Marlena thought Harris was in denial about his feelings for Ava. EJ reminded Susan what Ava did to her. Susan told him that Ava and Harris saved her. EJ wanted to get Susan to reconsider, but she refused to change her mind. Johnny wanted Chanel to move in with him, but she wanted to take things slowly. They started kissing and Holly walked in the room. She spilled drinks on them.

EJ found Nicole at the town square and let her know that Susan was alive. Rafe reminded Ava that she wasn’t at Bayview because of Susan. She was in trouble before that. He wasn’t sure where she would end up. The decision was up to her doctors. Harris wasn’t sure how he felt about Ava. He was talking about her to Marlena when Ava and Rafe walked in the interrogation room. Rafe let Harris know that Susan wouldn’t press charges against Ava. He let them know that they were off the hook. Ava asked Marlena if she could talk to her doctors at Bayview. EJ and Nicole told Susan about the baby. She thought Rafe was the father. Susan didn’t feel a connection to the baby. EJ assured her that the baby was his because they had a paternity test done. Susan wanted to know if Nicole was cheating on EJ. They explained what happened. Marlena talked to Ava’s doctors, and they think Ava is better. Ava was happy that she was free. Holly was about to admit her feelings to Johnny when Susan, Nicole and EJ arrived at the mansion. Nicole pulled Holly aside to find out who she loves.

Tate and Holly ran into each other. Abe saw Nicole in the town square. He recognized her and she thought he remembered her. He let her know that he didn’t remember her the way she thought. She explained how they knew each other. Theresa went to see Alex at Titan. They talked about her possibly being a gold digger. He remembered that she didn’t know that he was Victor’s son when they got together. She thought about looking at Victor’s letters. Holly offered to give Tate the drugs she had. Nicole continued to talk to Abe about how they were related. They talked about her pregnancy and Holly.

Alex thought Theresa was coming on to him to make Brady jealous. She set him straight that she was done with him. Abe confided in Nicole about his reservations about dating Paulina. Nicole gave her opinion about it. Stephaie and Chad ran into Theresa at a restaurant. Stephanie asked her to eat with them after she told them about Tate and Brady. Alex arrived so Theresa said he was her date. Theresa wanted to take Stephanie to the bathroom so they could talk. Alex told Chad about his paternity. Tate tried to kiss Holly, but she backed away. Maggie cleared Vivian’s things out of the office. Alex showed up and she told him what happened. Alex let her know that he was happy that she got the house, but he was the one who got control of the Titan. Maggie didn’t agree with him. They went back and forth about who should be in charge of the company. Alex didn’t want Maggie to keep arguing with him because he wanted to be CEO. She wanted to know if it was payback for her firing him. He assured her that wasn’t the reason he wanted the job. He didn’t agree with the way she ran the company, but he wasn’t trying to get revenge. He wanted the job because he felt like Victor wanted him to run it. She thought she could be there for him once the truth came out. She wondered if Victor wanted them to work together. He didn’t think it would work because they don’t have the same views for the company. He warned her that he would get the board involved if she didn’t walk away willingly. She backed down and told him that she was disappointed in him. He offered her a job, but she didn’t want it. Kate went to see Marlena. They talked about Philip and Chloe leaving together. Kate was afraid that Philip would backslide if he were with Chloe. Marlena reminded her that he was a grown man, and that Chloe wouldn’t go to New York with him if she didn’t think he changed. Kate was sad because she thought it was a chance for them to get closer. Gabi was getting ready for a meeting, but Vivian had other plans. Vivian wanted to go to the meeting, but Gabi didn’t like that idea. Vivian said that she didn’t have anything now that Maggie kicked her out so she needed to be by her son’s side. Gabi told her not to get too comfortable with being there. Vivian said she that wasn’t going anywhere.

Jada arrived at the DiMera mansion with questions for Stefan. She wanted to know why he lied to her. He lied again about hearing the gunshot from upstairs. He told her that the prints on the gun belong to Dimitri and Kristen. He said that Kristen must have shot him. She told him that the bullet that came from Dimitri didn’t match the gun. Stefan still acted as if he didn’t know anything. Jada threatened to lock him up if he lied to her. Gabi told her that she couldn’t lock Stefan up. Gabi told her that Vivian was the one who shot Dimitri. She gave Jada the gun from Vivian’s bag. Stefan wanted to know what she was doing. She told him that she wasn’t going to let him go to prison for his mother. Vivian walked in the room and wanted to know what happened to her gun. Vivian told Jada what really happened, and Stefan backed up her story. Gabi told her that they wanted to press charges against Dimitri for trying to kill them. Jada wanted to know if they would testify, and they agreed to do it. Jada thought it would help Vivian avoid attempted murder charges. She told her that she was still in violation of her parole, but she was going to talk to her parole officer. After Jada left, Stefan demanded answers from Gabi. She didn’t want him to get in trouble. Stefan was upset and Vivian asked him if he was going to let Gabi throw her under the bus. He said there was nothing they could do since Jada knew the truth. Vivian said she had to leave town. Gabi couldn’t be happier about it. Stefan and Vivian share a warm goodbye. After Vivian left, Gabi thought she did him a favor by getting her to leave. Leo saw Kristen at the hospital. He blamed her for what happened to Dimitri. She said that she didn’t shoot him, but he didn’t do it. He stormed off to be with Dimitri. Dimitri woke up and saw Gwen standing over him. He told her that he was shot. She wasn’t surprised since he was a dirtbag. Gwen told him that she knew the truth. He apologized to her. She was sorry too and took a scalpel from her boot. He was afraid because he thought she was going to cut his penis off to punish him and Leo. He called for help as she got closer and then Leo walked in the room. Leo stopped her from cutting him. Leo begged her not to hurt him. He hoped that she would forgive him. She refused and walked out the room.

Shawn saw Jada and he wanted to know if they were good. She warned him to get his act together. He felt like things were awkward and asked her not to say anything about what happened. She promised not to tell that he slept with her sister. They didn’t know that Belle was standing in the doorway. She let Jada know that she just told her. Shawn wondered why she was there, and she told him that she was there to surprise him. She let him know that she lost her appetite now. She was glad that she heard the truth. She wondered if Shawn was ever going to tell her what he did. Jada let her know that no one else knew about it. She said that Talia felt bad about what happened. She left them alone to talk. He was about to explain when she slapped him. He acknowledged that he deserved it. She couldn’t believe that he cheated on her. He told her that he didn’t tell the truth because it would hurt more than the lie. She didn’t think he would ever cheat on her, but she knew their relationship was a lie. She thought he was paying her back for being with Philip and EJ. He said that wasn’t true. He felt like she should forgive him since he forgave her. He will do anything to get her forgiveness. He pleaded with her to tell him what he needed to do to get her forgiveness. She said he couldn’t do anything. She wanted to leave, and he offered to go with her. She didn’t want to go anywhere with him. She wanted him to leave her alone. Marlena confronted Talia about sleeping with Shawn. Talia tried to deny it, but she didn’t believe her. Talia apologized for what happened. She was ashamed of what she did. She asked Marlena not to say anything. Marlena didn’t want to keep it a secret, but she couldn’t say anything because of doctor-patient confidentiality. Talia didn’t think it was a good idea for her to keep seeing her and Marlena agreed. She left her office and ran into Jada. They talked about Shawn. Talia defended Shawn, but Jada thought he took advantage of her. Talia said they took advantage of each other. She hoped that Jada didn’t look at her differently. Jada loved her regardless. Belle was at the hospital and ran into Talia. Talia tried to apologize to her, but she didn’t want to hear it. Belle went to Marlena’s office. She knew that Belle was upset. She told her that Shawn cheated on her. She broke down and started crying.

Harris and Ava woke up and realized that Edmund drugged their tea. Ava wondered if she imagined Edmund saying that he had Susan tied up there. They realized they were chained up. Susan came out and was happy that Ava found her. Ava was happy that she was alive. Susan blamed her for her situation. Ava told her about her mental breakdown. Harris caught Susan up on what was going on with EJ. He wanted her to tell them everything she knew about Edmund. Edmund walked through the door. He tried to give them food, but Harris thought it was poisoned. Edmund let him know that he didn’t have to poison them now that he has them where he wanted them. Edmund told them how he ended up with Susan. Edmund nursed her back to health, but she only wanted Roger. She appreciated what he did for her, but she loved Roger. While they were talking, Edmund found out that Ava tried to kill Susan. He wanted to get rid of Ava and Harris since they weren’t good people. Rafe and Tripp saw each other at Ava and Harris’ hotel room. Rafe thought he was trying to tip Ava off. He said he was worried about his mother. They worked together to find Ava and Harris. They arrived at Edmund’s place. Rafe showed him Ava and Harris’ pictures. Edmund said he recognized Ava as the one who killed Susan. He didn’t think she deserved to be free or alive. He told him that some people believe that Susan was alive.

Sloan was surprised that Eric had his luggage when he showed up at her place. He reminded her that they were supposed to move in together. She was surprised that a former priest would want to live together. He reminded her that they were engaged. She wanted to know when they were getting married. They talked about their wedding. Sloan didn’t want to get married in the pub. He agreed since he was already married there. She figured out that he married Nicole at the pub. Sloan wanted to get married soon because adoption agencies preferred married couples. She wanted to know if Belle agreed to represent them and Eric told he that she. He thought they should get someone else because she’s going through a lot. He was excited about looking for a new attorney so they could become parents. She wanted to be sure he wanted to adopt a child. He told her that he wanted to be a father. Melinda texted Sloan. Sloan let him know that she was excited about adopting too. Paulina let Melinda know that she was fired. Melinda tried to talk her out of firing her. She wasn’t moved until Melinda told her that she would give her a huge conviction. Paulina wanted to know who she could get. Melinda said she could prosecute Li Shinn. She wanted to know what she had on him. Melinda said he was the one who tried to kill Stefan. Later, Melinda met with Li in the town square. She was happy to see him. He let her know that they were over. Melinda was surprised and wanted to know why. She thought they were good together. He thought the same thing until he heard a recording of her talking about taking him down. She wanted to know how he got the recording. He told her that he planted a bug in her teddy bear. After her conversation with Li, Paulina arrived to find out how it went. Melinda told her what happened and she fired her.

EJ arrived home late and let Nicole know that he was looking for a new IT person. Nicole wondered what happened to Wendy. He let her know that she was trying to hack into his phone to get evidence against him. Nicole knew Wendy was dating Tripp and wondered if there was evidence against him. He assured her there wasn’t anything against him. He let her know that Wendy told him that his mother was still alive. He didn’t believe that was true. He thought she would have contacted him if she were alive. He reminded her about Susan’s psychic powers and that she wouldn’t have to call him. She would have sent him a sign. Just as he said that about his mother, the lights went out. She thought it was a sign from Susan. Harris and Ava arrived at Edmund’s place in London. He yelled at them for showing up that late. Ava told him they wanted to talk to him about Susan. He yelled at her for killing Susan. Ava told Edmund that they believed that Susan was alive. Edmund wanted to know where Susan was if she was still alive. They wondered the same thing. They wondered if he received signs from her. He said he didn’t because he had her chained in the basement. They thought he was joking, but they started feeling dizzy after drinking the tea he offered them. He put their bodies on a bed in the back room. Susan brushed her teeth with a chain around her ankle.

Maggie told him they found out some shocking things. Alex wanted to know why Justin wouldn’t look at him. Maggie left them alone to talk. Justin told him about the provisions Victor made for Maggie. Justin let him know that Victor left the other half of the everything to the son no one knew he had. Alex was confused by that and wanted to fight it. Justin wanted him to stop. It broke his heart to tell Alex that he is Victor’s son. Alex was shocked by the news. Justin said he never knew. Alex couldn’t believe they kept that secret from him. Justin told him they did that so he wouldn’t feel betrayed. Alex never thought they would find out something like that. Justin assured him that he was still his son. Justin wondered if he felt the same way. Alex said everything he knew was a lie. Alex was proud to have Justin as a father because he was a good and honorable man. He thought there was hope for him to be good too. Justin assured him that he was good too. He hoped it was a nightmare and wanted to be alone. Maggie ran into Bonnie at the town square. She told her about the new will. She let her know that she got half of everything and his son got the other half. Bonnie wondered which one.

Bonnie was shocked to find out that Alex was Victor’s son. Bonnie asked Maggie how Justin was handling it. She wanted to go to him. After Bonnie left, Maggie called Vivian so they could meet. Chloe told Xander that she couldn’t marry him. She told him that she couldn’t marry him because of Sarah. He assured her that he was over Sarah. Chloe told him that Sarah lied to him about the baby. She told him that the baby is his and not Rex’s. Xander was confused and she told him that she overheard Rex talking to Philip. He didn’t understand why she lied to him, but he realized that she hated him. She thought about keeping the truth from him, but her loyalty was to him. She also told him that Sarah isn’t in love with Rex. She’s only marrying him to keep the secret about the baby. Xander asked her if he should go to the pub and she thought he should do it. Rex and Sarah were ready to get married. Philip was the one officiating the wedding. Rex went through his vows quickly while Sarah hesitated. Philip pronounced them man and wife when Xander walked in the pub. He told her that he knew the truth about the baby. He said that Chloe overheard Rex and Philip talking about the baby. Rex said Chloe misunderstood them, but Sarah admitted the truth. Everyone left Xander and Sarah alone. He demanded to know why she lied to him.

Brady met with Justin at the pub. He gave Justin the briefcase. Justin wondered if he and Alex opened it. Brady told him that they wanted to wait for Maggie to do it. He talked to Justin about his conversation with Konstantin and how Victor was looking for a letter. He told Justin that they went to Victor’s childhood home and looked for the letters Kayla saw there. Justin was surprised to find out that Theresa went to Greece too. Brady told him that she wanted to get back together with him. They had a discussion about whether he should get back together with her. Justin was worried that Theresa would get too involved in Alex’s life. Theresa arrived at the pub and Brady dropped the bomb about Tate being expelled from school. Theresa wanted to know what he did, but Brady said the headmaster didn’t tell him. He let her know that he was going to California to pick him up and she wanted to go with him. He didn’t want her going. She reminded him that she was the one raising him for year. Brady had to back down to her. He apologized for the way he treated her in Greece. She told him that she figured something out. He wanted to ask her about it, but she thought they should focus on Tate. Vivian threw Maggie’s nameplate in the garbage. Philip arrived at the office and wondered what she wanted. She let him know that she wanted him to work with her. He wondered why she thought he would work with her. She reminded him that she carried him and wanted to feel close to him again. She said he belonged at Titan, but he turned her down. She said Victor would have wanted him to work there. He reminded her that Victor would have wanted Maggie to have the mansion and the company. He asked her if she would give everything back to Maggie for him, but she refused to do it. He knew she thought of him as a son, but they were nothing to each other. He said working at Titan drove him crazy and he didn’t want that. She wanted to help him get Chloe back. She thought if he worked at Titan, he would have a chance to get her back.

Philip reminded Vivian that Chloe was engaged to Xander. She thought he should fight for Chloe. He couldn’t do that. She promised to help him get her back if he would help her. He didn’t take her offer. Maggie went to see Sarah at the hospital. Sarah noticed that she was upset about something. Maggie told her what happened. She assured Sarah that she wasn’t giving up. She told her about Brady and Alex going to Greece to find out some information that could help her. Rex arrived and told Sarah they should get married that day. Sarah was surprised, but Rex had everything planned out. Maggie didn’t agree with her decision to keep Xander in the dark even though she was going to keep her secret. She reminded her that Xander was Victoria’s father and had a right to know the truth. She promised to keep Sarah’s secret, but she wasn’t going to officiate the ceremony since she knew the marriage was fake. Later, Justin went to meet with Maggie at Julie and Doug’s place. He told her that Shane confirmed that it was Victor’s briefcase. She was nervous to open it. Maggie told him that Vivian was coming after her family so she had to do whatever she could to stop them. She opened the case and saw the letters first. Justin let her know they were looking for the letters. She gave them to him. She picked up the letter at the bottom of the case. She opened the letter. They were excited to find Victor’s last will. Rex met with Philip at the town square. He told him that he was marrying Sarah that day. Philip congratulated him and wanted to know if he told Kate about it. Rex didn’t tell her. He didn’t want to lie to her. Philip didn’t know what he meant by that. Rex told him that Xander is Victoria’s father. Chloe was behind them and heard Rex’s confession.

Theresa looked through the briefcase when Brady and Alex arrived. She hid the case so they wouldn’t see it. She asked them if they out about Victor’s will. They told her about the meeting with Konstantin, but they didn’t get any information about the letters. She got the briefcase and thought something might be in there. Brady wondered how she got the briefcase and she told him that Shane dropped it off. Brady wanted to open it to look for the letters, but she told him that Shane said Maggie should get it and be the one to open it. Brady agreed and wanted to go home. Alex reminded him that there were no flights back to Salem until morning. They ended up arguing when Theresa went in the room with him. He thought she wanted to sleep with him, but she didn’t. Alex broke up the fight and tried to comfort her. Things got heated between Alex and Theresa. Vivian ran into Chad and let him know that her divorce from Victor wasn’t finalized so she was the sole heir. She let him know that she was his new boss. She wondered if she was going to fire him like she did Maggie or was he willing to work with her. Chad called Maggie and she confirmed Vivian’s claim. Maggie didn’t expect him to quit his job out of loyalty to her. She thought he could find out about Vivian’s plan if he stayed there. He agreed to do that so he went to talk to Vivian. He told her about his plans for the company, but she wanted to company to go back to the way it was before. She wanted to sell illegal drugs again. He didn’t want to do that. He told her that he quit.

John and Steve were talking about Brady and Alex being in Greece. Steve wondered why he didn’t with them, but he said they had it covered. They talked about Vivian being there and destroying Victor’s will. Vivian arrived while they were talking about her. Steve left to have dinner with his family. John and Vivian hugged each other. She wondered if he was surprised to see her, and he told her that he knew she was in town. They talked about Victor’s will and she told him that she wanted him to work for Titan. He was happy at his job and didn’t want to work for the company. she wondered if she could change his mind. He wanted her to give Maggie back her house. She couldn’t do that because it would give Maggie a claim to Victor’s estate. She wondered who else would work for her. Maggie thanked Julie for letting her stay with her. She saw the letter that Vivian sent her. She found out that she fired her as CEO of Titan. Julie wanted to talk to Justin about it, but Maggie told her that Victor didn’t have a will so she couldn’t do anything about it. Julie wanted to fight Vivian. Maggie wanted to find her own place to live.

Ava wondered if she and Harris made a mistake going to London. London is a big place so she wasn’t sure if they would be able to find Susan. Harris wanted to know what mistake she thought they made. She told him that they were there because she had a vision about Susan. It was possible that she was going crazy. Ava wondered why she would contact her. He said that she did it so they had to follow up on it. He thought it would work out for them. Ava tried to communicate with Susan, but she didn’t feel anything. He reminded her that she’s a Vitali and needed to act like one. Rafe called Tripp and wanted him to meet him at the station. Jada told Rafe that someone spotted Ava and Harris outside of Tripp’s place. He knew she worked all night and wanted her to go home. She wanted him to call her if something big happened. Tripp arrived so Rafe wanted to know about Ava being at his place. He admitted that he saw her. Tripp explained what happened to Rafe. Rafe wanted to know where Ava and Harris went and he said he didn’t know. Tripp wanted to leave, but Rafe warned him that he would be charged with obstructing justice if he didn’t talk to him. EJ told someone on the phone that he would handle everything. Nicole walked in the room so he got off the phone. She wanted to talk and he thought she wanted to talk because of his phone call. He said he needed her help with the business. She agreed to help, but she wanted to know if he tried to have Ava killed. He tried to deny it, but she didn’t believe him since he was representing the woman that Ava shot. She thought he was representing her to keep her quiet about what he did. She felt she deserved to know what was going on because she’s bringing a child into the situation.

EJ apologized for what happened. He was trying to protect her. Nicole was worried about what would happen to him. She thought Rafe would cut a deal with the woman so she could turn on him. EJ promised that he wouldn’t risk what they have for anything. Wendy showed up so Nicole left. Wendy showed him a proposal for the company. She tried to get him to talk about what happened to Ava, but he wouldn’t talk about it. He looked at her proposal. He let her know that he had a meeting to go to so he left. She spotted his phone so she tried to look through it. EJ caught her when he went back in the room. Belle arrived at the pub and talked to Eric. He wondered if she would represent him and Sloan so they could adopt a baby. She agreed to do it. He noticed that she was upset. She told him what happened with Shawn. Shawn woke up in bed with Talia. He was shocked by what happened. Talia woke up and was shocked too. He took the blame for what happened. She said it was her fault too. She said that Alex invited her, but he didn’t believe her. Alex came back in the room and told Brady he didn’t invite her there. She said it didn’t matter because she was already there. Brady refused to let her come with them. She refused to leave. She asked him if she could sleep in his room. Julie checked on Maggie and she filled her in about what happened with Vivian. Vivian surprised Julie. She talked to her about Lani and how she wanted to visit the twins. Julie wanted to throw her out for her, but Vivian told her that she couldn’t do it. He tried to comfort her, but she was still worried. Marlena walked in and wanted them to meet someone. John brought Timothy in the room to meet them. Brady and Belle were happy to meet him. John told Timothy about his other son. Timothy looked at pictures of Paul when he showed up. Paul told him about himself. Andrew showed up to meet Timothy too. Marlena pulled Belle aside and she told her what happened with Shawn. Marlena was willing to talk to him, but she didn’t want her to do it. Theresa went to see Alex. He wondered how she knew where he lived. She told him that Stephanie told her where he lived. He wondered why she was there. She told him that she wanted to confirm their plans for dinner. He reminded her that he was going to Greece with Brady so they had to wait.

They went back to drinking. Belle called Shawn, but he ignored it. He asked Talia if Jada would be mad that they are partying in her room. She said Jada was working all night so they had the place to themselves. Shawn put their bottles down and kissed her. Talia pulled away from him briefly and kissed him again. They ended up falling on the bed.

Talia went to see Chanel and didn’t realize that Johnny was there. Chanel let her know that Johnny was leaving. After he left, Talia offered her the flowers she bought. She gave her ideas of what they could do together. Chanel stopped her and she wondered what happened. Chanel let her know that she’s getting back together with Johnny. Talia was heartbroken. She blamed herself. Chanel told her the timing was bad. Talia regretted telling her how she felt. She left the apartment. Chanel went to see Johnny. Jada talked to the hitwoman at the hospital. She denied that someone hired her to kill Ava. She said she was a nurse, but Jada didn’t believe her. EJ was on the phone with his contact. He wanted to know how long Jada had been questioning the hitwoman. He realized he had to be the one to keep her quiet. The hitwoman continued to tell Jada that she was a nurse. Jada took out her phone and read the text proving that she was at Bayview to kill Ava. Jada tried to make a deal with her to get her to talk. EJ showed up before she could agree to the deal. He told Jada that he was her lawyer. He heard about the shooting and wanted to help the hitwoman. The hitwoman agreed to let EJ be her lawyer. He let Jada know that she couldn’t interview her anymore. Jada felt like she was making a mistake. She let her know that the offer was still on the table. After Jada left, EJ wanted to know why Ava was still alive. Rafe and an officer went in the motel room. Rafe found Ava and Harris’ ID bracelets. Shawn arrived and Rafe wondered why he was there. He heard Rafe on the scanner and wanted to help. Rafe wanted him to go home because he was drunk. Shawn denied being drunk, but Rafe was able to smell it on him. Shawn told him that he only had a couple of drinks, but Rafe didn’t believe him. He told him to get himself together or he would be suspended again. Shawn was about to leave, but Rafe didn’t think he was in any shape to drive. Rafe wanted the officer to take him home.

Ava wanted to find Susan to get EJ off her back. Harris told her that they had to go to London to find her. Tripp wondered how they were getting out of the country. She said they were going to need his help with that. They told Tripp about the contacts that Harris has. The contacts can get them passports, but they needed a place to hide. Wendy told them they couldn’t hide there because of Li and Melinda. She said they had to get their passports faster. Wendy let Ava and Harris know that she used to forge IDs for her friends and she thought she could make their fake passports too. She needed real ones and she would offer her passport. Tripp offered his passport. Wendy got to work on their passports. Harris and Ava were impressed with her work. They thanked them for their help. Ava told Tripp what to tell the police. Ava and Harris left. Belle saw Shawn arguing with the officer at the Square and wondered what was going on with him. Shawn told her what happened with Rafe. She couldn’t believe he wanted to work while he was drunk. They started arguing. She told him that what happened to Bo and Victor wasn’t his fault. She thought he should go to rehab. He refused to go because he didn’t think he was drunk. She thought he needed more help than she could give him. He told her that she wasn’t being honest with him. He mentioned how she didn’t tell him about Philip and how she had an affair with EJ. Belle wanted to go home, but he refused to do it. He wanted to go somewhere that he wouldn’t be judged. EJ talked to his contact at the hospital to get info about the shooter. He was upset when he got off the phone. Johnny walked in the room and wondered what was wrong. He let Johnny know that Ava escaped. They weren’t on the same page about Ava. They ended up talking Chanel. He let EJ know that he told her about his feelings, but Talia showed up. EJ gave him advice on how to handle his situation. Johnny wasn’t sure about his idea, but Chanel called him so he could come over. After Johnny left, EJ was determined to go after Ava. His contact told him that the shooter was awake and getting questioned by the police. Chanel talked to Paulina about her conflicted feelings about Talia and Johnny. Paulina wondered what Chanel told Johnny, but she said that Talia showed up before she could answer him. Paulina supported her, but she hoped that she would pick Johnny. Chanel wasn’t happy that he sprung that on her. She wasn’t sure if he was on the rebound from Wendy. Paulina thought she should take her time deciding, but she thought she dragged it out enough. Johnny was about to knock as Paulina was about to leave.

He wanted to get them some food, but she didn’t think it was safe since EJ had hitman. Harris questioned if it was EJ and Ava was positive. Ava thought he wouldn’t stop at one attempt. She told him that Rafe hates her so he won’t believe that she shot the shooter in self-defense. She said they had to bring Susan home. Harris was about to get a burner phone and food. She thanked him for helping her. Ava saw Susan again, but she realized that she was having a psychic connection with her. When Harris returned she told him that Susan was stuck in the Big Smoke. Harris said that was a nickname for London. They decided to go there to look for her. Later, Rafe and an officer arrived at the motel. He warned the officer that Ava and Harris are armed so it’s okay to use deadly force. Rafe kicked the door down and was shocked by what he saw.

He wanted to drive her because she was hemorrhaging. Sarah told Xander to take care of their baby if something to her. Vivian said that her divorce from Victor wasn’t finalized. Maggie and Justin didn’t believe her so he called the clerk’s office. He got the voicemail so he was going to go to the office to get the answers. Maggie was going to make Vivian pay once that situation was over. Chloe walked in and told Maggie that Sarah had the baby. Vivian and Bonnie were left behind at the mansion. They argued with each other. Vivian thought she was taking advantage of looking like Adrienne so she could get Justin’s money. Bonnie said that she loved Justin. Vivian said she loved Victor too. Theresa met up with Stephanie and Kayla. She let them know that she was there for Victor’s funeral. She wanted to pay her respects, but Brady thought she was there to get back together with him. Everyone at the Kiriakis mansion wanted Vivian to leave, but she refused to go. Vivian told them that she was released from prison early. Justin looked over the papers and said they looked legit. She planned on staying until Victor’s will is read. Kate told Philip that Victor set up a trust fund for him. She thought they should leave. Justin planned to get Victor’s will to prove that Vivian isn’t in it. He went to get Victor’s will out of the safe, but it was gone. Justin called the estate to find out what happened. He found out that Victor wanted his last will destroyed and that he died without a will. He told Maggie that she would get everything since there wasn’t a will. Vivian told him that he was wrong. She dropped the bomb on him that her and Victor’s divorce papers weren’t filed right and they never received a divorce decree. Vivian let Maggie know that her marriage to Victor was null and void. She announced that she was Victor’s widow and not Maggie. She said that she was the one who was entitled to everything. Sarah’s water broke and Rex wanted to get her to the hospital. She said that she wanted to push. She and Xander flashed back to when she was in labor with Mackenzie. Xander and Rex helped Sarah get to a lawn chair so she could relax. Rex wanted Chloe to go to the car to get his medical bag and sent Xander to get towels and blankets. Sarah told Rex that she was worried that the pain might make her accidentally tell Xander the truth about the baby. He assured her that it wouldn’t happen. Xander and Chloe helped coach Sarah through her labor. Rex finally delivered Sarah’s baby. She had a girl. Sarah was happy, but Rex noticed that she was shaking. Xander offered to hold the baby for her. After he took the baby, Sarah passed out.

Marlena told John Doe that his memory loss was triggered by a skull fracture he suffered years ago. She let him know that he was healthy besides that injury he suffered years ago. He was happy to hear that and wanted to look for his son. She let him know that her husband’s working on his case. John showed up so Marlena introduced him to John Doe. John talked to him about the Korean War. John Doe remembered the war. He told him that he served in the same unit as biological father Timothy Robicheaux. John Doe said the name sounded familiar. He talked about the type of person Timothy was. He said that Timothy switched their dog tags. John realized that John Doe was his biological father after all and that his name was Timothy. John realized that the villain was Joseph Bell. They had a touching moment together once they realized that were related. Timothy wanted to know why John was adopted and not with Maude. John let him know that it was a long story. John let Timothy know that Maude passed away. Timothy had a feeling that she was dead and realized that was why he needed to find his son. They couldn’t believe they found each other after all this time.

He said he was better because he’s talking about Marlena. Theresa tried to text Brady again. He was frustrated by it. He knew she wouldn’t give up. Brady told Belle that Theresa wanted to get back together. They talked about his conversation with Theresa. Shawn was shocked that Brady compared Theresa to Kristen. Brady felt like Theresa had the potential to be like Kristen. He felt like he needed a nice woman and Theresa wasn’t it. They headed to the memorial. Alex and Chelsea met each other at the service. They got to know each other. Theresa saw Chelsea at the service and they caught up with each other. Chelsea introduced Alex and Theresa. He seemed happy that they weren’t related. Alex and Theresa talked to each other about Brady. He told her that the old him would have suggested she pursue Brady, but he thought she should back off. Kate read about Victor’s funeral in the newspaper when Philip walked in the pub. She tried to make him feel guilty, but he told her that Brady wasn’t pressing charges against him. She wanted to know where he was while he was gone. He told her that he went to see Lucas at Statesville. She thought that was good, but she knew he wasn’t doing that the entire time he was gone. He told her that he went to see Chloe. He assured her that he was back for Victor’s funeral. She assured him that Victor loved him. He was ready to go to the funeral, but Kate stopped him. She wanted to know if he was still in love with Chloe. He admitted that he still loved Chloe.

Justin and Bonnie were talking about Victor when Sonny arrived. They had fond memories of him when Xander showed up. He thought they were putting Victor down. Sonny got upset with him. They started arguing. Sonny was glad that Sarah was with Rex instead of him and that she’s having his baby. Bonnie almost slipped up and said Sarah wasn’t having Rex’s baby, but she covered herself. Bonnie defended Xander and Sonny couldn’t believe she would do that after what happened with Ava. Sonny mentioned the other things Xander did. Justin let them know that Victor wouldn’t want them to fight. Maggie was in her room talking to Victor’s picture when Sarah showed up. Sarah told her that Melissa was sorry she couldn’t make it to the funeral. Maggie knew she was sick and told Sarah that she did a video call with her. Maggie talked about her memories of Victor with her. She missed him and wanted him back. Sarah told her that she wasn’t alone because she was with her. Maggie told her that it wasn’t too late to tell Xander the truth about the baby. Maggie didn’t think it was right or fair to keep the truth from Xander. After Eric left her room, she blamed herself for why Eric wouldn’t be a father to either child. She thought about changing Nicole’s paternity test results. EJ met with the woman he hired to kill Ava. She wanted to know if she was at Bayview. He wondered if it would be a problem. She said it wouldn’t be and he wanted to know how she would get in there. She wondered if he wanted the details, and he told her that he didn’t. He just wanted Ava deal like his mother. She was shocked he wanted to go through with the plan since he didn’t operate like that anymore. He said he didn’t operate that way, but Ava was different. He gave her an envelope full of money. He told her that he wanted her to kill Xander too. After the woman left, Sloan walked by EJ. They talked about avenging their parents’ deaths. She warned him that getting revenge can send you down the wrong path. EJ gave his condolences to her. She thought he enjoyed Eric suffering. He didn’t enjoy it, but he thought Eric wasn’t meant to be a father after all. Sloan didn’t agree with him.

Xander ran into Theresa outside of the pub. He saw her crying and she told him that she was crying because of Victor. He didn’t believe her. She admitted that she was crying over Brady. He thought it was funny how Brady rejected her. She reminded him that Sarah did the same thing to him. They continued to argue until he told her that he was marrying Chloe. They kept arguing and Xander grabbed her arm. Eric showed up and stopped him from grabbing her. Rex wanted to make sure Sarah was okay. She told him that didn’t have Braxton-Hicks anymore. He was happy about that. He thought they should get married before the baby was born. She wanted to make sure he was okay with the fact that she wanted to keep Xander from knowing the truth. He was well aware of that and wanted to marry her. He wanted to make her fall in love with him. She didn’t want to do it around Victor’s funeral because she didn’t think that would be right. She wanted to be there for Maggie. She thought it was sad that none of his kids could be there. Philip showed up just as they were talking about him. They were surprised to see him. Sarah was shocked to see him. Philip told them that Brady agreed to drop the charges against him. She offered her condolences to him. Philip asked her about the father of her baby. They said Rex was the father. He congratulated them. Harris wanted to know where Susan was, but Ava didn’t know. He thought they should tell Marlena, but she didn’t want to do it. He thought they should tell EJ, but she didn’t want to do that either. The assassin had a needle and told Ava it was time to take her medication. Ava told her that she never had an injection before. The assassin said it was a new medication the doctor gave her. Harris wanted to know what the medication was and she wanted him to leave. He told Ava to call her doctor, but the assassin pulled a gun on them before she could make the call. She told them that they were both going to die. She wanted to know who was going first. Harris fought the woman and she dropped the gun. Ava grabbed it and aimed it at the woman.
