Julie was happy that Alice’s recipe would be shared with the world. Doug didn’t know who she was. Julie was surprised that he didn’t remember her. Chad went to Abby to find out when she was coming home. She told him that her grandmother’s estate wasn’t finalized yet so she wasn’t sure when she would come home. Chad was upset about it and told her that he wanted her to come home. She wasn’t ready to do that yet. EJ demanded his money from Xander. Xander told him that the police had the money. He didn’t want to hear that. He got upset and punched him. Julie showed Doug a picture of Tom and Alice, but it didn’t help. He didn’t know who they were. He wanted to know what happened to him. She was determined to find out what was going on with him. Abby told Chad how she realized that Gwen’s daughter was going to be her niece. She said she was part of the family and she felt like she killed the child.

Chad told Abby that she wasn’t responsible for what happened to Gwen’s baby. She appreciated what he said. She felt responsible for what happened. Gwen told Jack that she used to be a prostitute. EJ and Xander ended up fighting over the money. Gwen told Jack how she became a prostitute. He wanted to know if she met Snyder when she was prostituting. She implied that she knew him while she was a prostituting. He told her how he was her doctor when she lost the baby. She said that she wasn’t the person she was before. She asked him if he could forgive her for what she did. Chad wanted Abby to forgive herself. He said that Gwen was ready to attack her when they met. He told her that the baby was conceived because he made a mistake. He said the miscarriage was a mistake. Abby wanted him to be honest with her. She wanted to know if there was a part of him that hated her for what she did to his child. Kayla examined Doug. She said he had the heart of someone half his age. Julie said she was worried about his mind. She told Kayla that they were concerned about his mind. She let her know what happened with him. He asked if he had Alzheimer’s. Jack felt guilty for not being around Gwen while she was growing up. He told her how his father wanted to kill people who were sex workers. He assured her that she was safe. Chad said that he wasn’t happy about being the father of Gwen’s baby. He said that he didn’t blame the child for what happened. He said he didn’t blame Abby for anything. He wanted her to come home so they could be a family again. Kayla agreed to schedule some tests for Doug. Gwen decided that she couldn’t let Jack hate her. Abby agreed to go home with Abby.

Jack called Kayla to make an appointment for Doug. Julie came in and said Doug didn’t need to get checked out. She didn’t think there was a need to worry. He didn’t agree with her. He told her about Doug being confused. She said Doug didn’t have dementia. Doug came in and said she was right. Doug told Julie and Jack he wasn’t going to leave anyone in a freezer again. He said everything else were little memory problems. He thought it was because he wasn’t getting enough sleep. Doug reminded Julie that Allie and Chanel were opening the bakery and needed their support. Jack wanted Doug to see Kayla first. Tripp wished Allie luck on her opening. She apologized for not talking since they had drinks the other night. She said she has been preoccupied. He asked if she was distracted by the opening or by what happened between Chanel and Johnny. She said she couldn’t talk right now. Chanel showed up to clear the air with Allie about her and Johnny. Allie said she loved her brother, but he had a bad track record with women. She said she didn’t want Chanel to get hurt. Chanel said she has been too busy to talk to Johnny. She said she was ignoring his calls. Allie apologized to Chanel for causing a scene. Allie said she did it because she cared about her. Allie asked for forgiveness. Chanel said she knew she was looking out for her. Chanel said she didn’t want to be with her, but she didn’t want Johnny to be with her. Allie said she was jealous of them being together. Johnny came in the living room as EJ was leaving Xander a threatening message. Johnny didn’t approve of the kind of business he was into. They ended up arguing over Johnny’s movie. Johnny left the room. Chad came in the living room. EJ and Chad argued over Johnny wanting to make movies.

While EJ and Chad were arguing, they talked about Abby. EJ told him to get his wife and bring her home. Chad said he didn’t tell his wife what to do. Chad reminded him that his wife wasn’t around. Chad told him to find Sami and drag her back by the hair. EJ said he didn’t want Sami there. He said he didn’t know where she was. Chad said he didn’t believe him. Johnny and Tripp ran into each other. They talked about what happened when they met for drinks. Johnny said Allie wanted Chanel for herself. He said it was Allie’s fault that Chanel ghosted him. He said he liked Chanel, but he didn’t know if he would ever hear from her again. Gwen went to see Xander. She said she saw how Bonnie was arrested. Gwen asked if he got his money back. He said he didn’t exactly get it back. He said the police took the money as evidence after they found Calista’s body. He said he had to EJ until he got the money. Xander called EJ to tell him the police had the money but he would get it to him soon. EJ told him to do it. Gwen told Xander she didn’t tell Jack the truth. She wanted the issue with Doug and Julie to distract Jack. They made jokes about the ways Doug could kill Julie. Xander and Gwen made love. After Xander and Gwen made love, they tried to come up with lies she could tell Jack about why Snyder was blackmailing her. He said to tell Jack that she was a hooker and Snyder was one of her clients. She didn’t like the idea. She decided to tell the truth. She said it would be a load off of her. She said Jack may hate her, but he wouldn’t hate Xander.

Rafe thought about Nicole. Eli showed up to talk about Bonnie’s arrest. Eli saw Nicole’s picture on Rafe’s phone. Eli wanted to know what was going on. Rafe told him he and Nicole wouldn’t be seeing each other anymore. Eli asked if he was being honest with Ava about not wanting to be with Nicole. Rafe said he was. Eli said he was happy for him and Ava. Ava met Nicole at Julie’s Place. Ava told her she applied for the chef position. Nicole reminded her that she wanted to work for Basic Black. Ava said it would be awkward. Nicole said Rafe wasn’t interested in her, but Ava didn’t agree with her. She apologized to Ava. Ava said she and Rafe talked about it. She asked Nicole how she felt about him. Nicole said she had nothing to worry about. Ava appreciated what she said. Ava said her not seeing Rafe was the best for now. Rafe showed up. Nicole ended up leaving. When Ava walked away, he looked at Nicole’s picture. Brady and Chloe went to the Kiriakis mansion. They wanted to know why the police were there. Lani told them that Calista was murdered. Lani ended up leaving. Chloe was shocked that someone was killed near her room. He said she was going home with him. She said she was safe there. He said it was traumatic.

Chloe accused Brady of trying to keep her away from Philip. Brady admitted that he was. He said she couldn’t blame a man for trying. She said his war with Philip stopped being funny years ago. She said it was going to stop. She accused him of thinking everything was a joke. She said he was laughing at her and not with her. He apologized to her. Philip told Gabi and Jake that the tech support found the keylogger on his laptop. He accused Gabi of putting it there. She said she didn’t, but Philip fired both of them. Jake said someone could have put spyware on Gabi’s computer too. He said it could be a company problem. He told Philip to call the tech department. When Philip realized Gabi’s computer was hacked too, he thought it could be Brady. When Philip left, Jake told Gabi that he put a keylogger on her computer in case Philip realized what was going on. He said it was a move a CEO of Titan would do. She said the job was hers since it was her idea. They thought Philip would lose it over Brady. Brady and Chloe talked about their wedding anniversary coming up. Philip came home while they were reminiscing. Philip grabbed Brady and accused him of spying on Titan. He said he would put Brady in prison for espionage. Brady walked out. Philip told Chloe to stop working for Brady. She said to find proof first.

Bonnie and Justin were about to get married when Xander interrupted the ceremony. He objected to the wedding. Xander said he had a million reasons why he stopped the wedding. Justin wanted to know what was going on. Bonnie wanted him to leave. Kayla mentioned how he ruined parties. He said that he was telling the truth to get the million dollars. He said he was telling the truth now. He accused Bonnie of stealing his money. Xander told Justin how Bonnie was able to steal his money. Justin asked Bonnie if what he said was true. Gabi checked out Philip’s computer and found out that he caught Brady and Chloe in bed. Belle went to see Philip to find out why he went to check up on Brady and Chloe. He told her that anything could have happened if he hadn’t got there on time. Bonnie denied Xander’s accusations. Xander insisted that she was the one who committed a crime. He was about to go upstairs when Bonnie stopped him. Kayla wanted to know why she didn’t want him to go upstairs. Bonnie said Calista was upstairs. Justin demanded to know what was going on with her.

Philip wanted to send a threatening memo to Brady. Belle tried to stop him from sending it. She warned him that his anger was going to bring him down. Gabi read the memo that Philip wrote. She showed the memo to Jake. She told him that they had to get Philip to act on his anger. She said that Victor would fire Philip and give her the job. He said he might get the job too. Bonnie said that Calista was sleeping off her hangover. Xander said he would be quiet. He walked off so Bonnie went after him. Xander found the money in Calista’s room. The gun fell out of the bag so Xander wondered why she had a gun. Justin wanted to know why she had a gun too. Belle told Philip that Brady would use what he’s doing against him. She told him to enjoy the fact that he had Chloe. She advised him not to send the email, but he tried to do it anyway. He didn’t understand why he couldn’t send the email. Justin found Calista’s body on the bed. Belle told Philip that he was going to lose Chloe if he didn’t listen to her. Philip got a call from someone and the person found something on his laptop. Justin demanded to know why Calista’s body was on the bed. Bonnie tried to explain when Eli and Lani showed up. Philip went to Gabi to find out why she was spying on him. Eli and Lani arrested Bonnie.

Xander told Gwen that Bonnie came to his room to invite him to the wedding. He figured out that she stole his room key and took the money. He said Bonnie was going to regret the day she crossed him. Gwen said she felt bad that Xander was in this mess because of her. He said it was his choice. He didn’t want her to tell Jack the truth about her miscarriage. He said if she did, then everything he did would be for nothing. He said Jack might not forgive her for lying about Abby causing her miscarriage. Gwen couldn’t believe Xander sacrificed himself for her. He said she was worth it. She said she wasn’t sure what she would tell Jack about her involvement with Snyder, but Jack would know it wasn’t Xander’s fault.

Calista put the gun to Bonnie. Calista told her she was going to die. Bonnie begged her not to kill her. Calista told Bonnie she had to pay for what she did to her husband. Calista used a pillow to silence the gun. Bonnie went after Calista. They struggled over the gun and it went off. Calista fell on the bed. Steve talked to the justice of the peace about Justin and Bonnie’s union. Kayla and Justin showed up at the mansion. Kayla went to check on Bonnie. Justin was worried about Bonnie’s behavior. Justin told Steve that it took a lot to be his best man. Justin appreciated him. Steve wanted him to be happy. Bonnie panicked when Kayla knocked on the door. She struggled to clean up Calista’s body. Bonnie put Calista on her side and covered her with a blanket. When Kayla came in the room, Bonnie said Calista was sick. Kayla wanted to help Bonnie get dressed. Everyone was ready for the wedding. The justice of the peace started the wedding. He asked if anyone objected to the wedding. Xander came in and said he objected to the wedding. He accused Bonnie of stealing money from him. Julie told Jack that Doug locked her in the freezer to protect her from robbers. She was scared that the robbers kidnapped him. Jack said it was possible she and Doug had a fight and he went to cool off. She thought it could have been possible but wondered where he was. She said she had to find Doug. Doug went to the pub. Doug called Roman John. While Doug was talking about different people, he got their names wrong. Roman called Julie. He told her to come to the pub. When Julie and Jack went to the pub, she told Doug that he locked her in the freezer. He said she was confusing him with someone else. He asked her if she was okay. Julie was shocked. When Julie and Jack got Doug home, she acted as if everything was okay. Jack told her that Roman said Doug was confused over names. She thought Doug was tired. Jack told her to get Doug checked out just in case. She said Doug wasn’t going anywhere.

Xander let EJ in his room. Bonnie hid under the bed. EJ showed Xander his contract. EJ said he wanted his money. EJ gave him a pen so he could sign the contract. Bonnie’s phone went off. Xander asked if he heard it. They looked at their phones to see if it was their phone. Xander signed the contract. Bonnie let Kayla know that she was at the nail salon. EJ grabbed the suitcase of money and left Xander’s room. Xander went back to the bathroom. Bonnie left the room while he was in the bathroom. Justin talked to Kayla about Bonnie. He was concerned about Bonnie getting cold feet. Kayla let him know that Bonnie couldn’t wait to marry him. She said Bonnie was only worried about Calista. He said he wasn’t sure about Bonnie’s relationship with Calista. He questioned whether he should talk to her about it. Kayla assured Justin that he didn’t have anything to worry about with Bonnie and Calista. Kayla said she was happy for him and believed Bonnie changed. She said the situation between them was awkward, but things ended up the way they needed to. She said she wanted to think Adrienne helped them.

Bonnie went back to the Kiriakis mansion and was shocked to see Calista on top of Steve. Bonnie took Calista off of him and dragged her out of the room. Bonnie gave her the money. Bonnie wanted the gun in exchange. Calista pulled out the gun and said she wasn’t giving it to her. She said Bonnie was getting the bullet. Jack wanted to know why Snyder was blackmailing Gwen. When she was about to tell him why she was getting blackmailed, he got a call from Julie. She was locked in the freezer at her restaurant. Gwen went to see Xander. She told him that she told Jack that Snyder was blackmailing her. She said she couldn’t tell him why he was blackmailing her because Jack went to help Julie. Xander said she didn’t have to tell Jack everything about the miscarriage. She said she couldn’t let Jack keep writing bad stories about him. EJ banged on Xander’s door. When Xander went to open the door, EJ showed him the empty suitcase. Xander said he put the money there. EJ said a million dollars didn’t get legs and walk away. He tore up Xander’s contract and threatened to send him back to prison. When EJ left, Gwen asked if he scammed EJ. Xander said he didn’t. He remembered that Bonnie came by. When Jack went to Julie’s restaurant, he found out that Doug was the one who locked Julie in the freezer. Jack was trying to understand what happened. She said something was wrong.

She mentioned how he wouldn’t give Johnny money for his money. Paulina thought that was why their relationship hit the skids. She told her that he’s Allie’s twin brother. Johnny talked with EJ about Sami being missing. Philip walked in on Brady and Chloe in the bed together. He didn’t believe there was any engine trouble. Brady got out of the bed. Philip wanted to make Brady pay for what happened at the hotel. Brady told Philip how he couldn’t sleep. Philip said that he slept in the same bed with Chloe. They explained how they ended up sharing the bed. She was upset that showed up there in a jealous rage. Johnny told EJ how Allie had a problem with him kissing Chanel. Johnny thought Allie was jealous because she had something going on with her. EJ asked him if his sister was gay. Allie talked to Nicole about what happened with Johnny and Chanel. She said they would stay there because he trusted her. Rafe admitted that he had feelings for Nicole, but he never acted on them. He wanted to know if Ava would throw their relationship out the window if she was attracted to someone. Allie thought she was protecting Chanel. Nicole said she didn’t need protection. She wanted to talk to Johnny about what he was doing. Chanel and Johnny made out at the DiMera mansion. Allie showed up before they could do anything. She called Johnny a player. He said he didn’t appreciate her insulting him in front of Chanel. He wanted her to leave. She refused to leave. Allie and Johnny argued with each other so Chanel decided to leave. When Chanel left, he asked Allie if she was jealous. She said she wasn’t. He didn’t believe her. He said she didn’t believe it either. Chloe called Philip and told him she and Brady had to make an emergency landing on the way to New York. She said they were stranded at a motel. Philip was upset, but she told him it was one night. Philip talked to Belle about Brady still being after Chloe. Belle thought it was funny that Philip thought Brady caused the plane problems. Philip wanted her to call the pilot to find out if Brady bribed him. Belle told him he sounded desperate. Philip said he was. Philip told Belle that he couldn’t lose Chloe. He said he lost her to Brady before. Belle took the phone before Philip could fly to Chloe. Belle said he would look crazy flying there. She told him to hide his jealousy and relax.

Brady went to Chloe’s room. He said a couple was in his room having sex and the motel was double booked. There weren’t any other rooms available. He asked to stay with her. She wanted to know if he planned it. He said that was something Philip would do. He said he would sleep in the lobby if it would help her. Chloe told Brady he could stay in her room. She knew Philip wouldn’t like it. Brady told her not to say anything. She said she was over him, but Philip still didn’t like it. She wanted to know why he invited her to go with him. He said he liked spending time with her. She said that was an issue since she had a boyfriend. Chloe told Brady that he had his chance to be with her, but he chose to be with Kristen. She told him that she stayed away from him, but he wouldn’t do the same. Brady tried to sleep in the chair, but he was having trouble. She told him to share the bed with her. Chanel still couldn’t get over the fact that Johnny was Allie’s brother. He thought things would get complicated. Tripp wanted to know if Allie was upset that Johnny was dating Chanel. Jack begged Chad not to leave Abby. EJ wanted his money from Xander. He said that he wouldn’t give it back until he got him the job at Titan. EJ told him that he came through for him with everything else.

Allie ran into Kayla after Henry’s check up. She asked her if Tripp was still mad that she didn’t tell him she loved him back. Kayla said Tripp cared about her. Allie said she cared about him too, but she was shocked when he told her that. Kayla told Allie that she did the right thing by not telling Tripp she loved him. Kayla said saying you love someone was a big deal. Allie said she wasn’t sure she loved him, but she liked being with him. She said she missed him when he wasn’t around. She loved the fact that Tripp forgave her. She wondered if what she felt for him was guilt or gratitude for how he takes care of her and Henry. Kayla said she would figure it out soon. Tripp ran into Chanel. She mentioned that she found someone new. She gave him a lot of details about her date. He said he hoped it would turn into something for her. She asked if he wanted that so she wouldn’t go after Allie. He said that wasn’t what he was saying. Chanel told him she hoped they would get past the weirdness between them. He wanted them to go to the new bar at the town square

Johnny asked Tony and Anna if they would bankroll his movie. Anna said she would do it. When Johnny was trying to convince Tony, to bankroll his idea. Before Tony could answer, EJ came in. EJ said Tony wasn’t doing it. EJ told Tony Johnny was working for DiMera. EJ told Tony that financing Johnny’s movie would be acting against the interests of the company. Tony yelled at EJ before he decided not to help. Johnny insulted Tony. Johnny apologized to Tony, but he didn’t care. Johnny reminded EJ of his past. EJ and Johnny argued with each other. EJ told Johnny that he didn’t know he wouldn’t like working at DiMera until he tried it. EJ said he wanted them to spend time together. Chanel ended up showing up. Chanel invited Johnny out for drinks. EJ said Johnny had things to do. Johnny left with Chanel. Steve told Justin that he didn’t have a problem with Bonnie anymore. Justin was glad to hear that. He asked Steve to be his best man. Steve wanted to do it, but wondered how Bonnie would feel. Justin told him that Bonnie suggested him to be the best man. Ava decided to email Rafe. She wanted to apologize to him at first. She changed her mind and started to write an angry email. Steve showed up while she was typing. She deleted the email. She told him what happened with Rafe. She thought Steve would be happy to hear that. He said he wasn’t happy. Steve said he wanted to apologize to her. He said he got over his anger for Bonnie. He said Bonnie proved that she changed. He thought Ava deserved the benefit of the doubt. She told him that she was jealous of Rafe and Nicole. Steve told her to take Rafe at his word and believe he wasn’t after Nicole. She appreciated his advice. She said she would trust Rafe and Nicole. Nicole went to see Rafe. She said Gabi told her to see him. He said he wanted to be there for her, but Gabi was trying to cause trouble for him and Ava. Nicole said they should stop hanging out with each other. He didn’t like that idea. She said he and Ava were good for each other. Rafe didn’t like the idea of cutting Nicole out of his life. She said she would miss him, but she agreed that she couldn’t see him for a while. She said it was better that way. He finally agreed not to see her. She said it was just for now. They hugged each other. Ava watched them from outside. Philip told Jake that he valued Kate’s opinion, but he made his own decisions. He welcomed Jake to the company. Philip thought Jake’s knowledge of DiMera would be an asset. Gabi showed up and agreed with Philip. Philip said he would be back in a while. Jake and Gabi searched Philip’s office to find information that would get Philip kicked out of the company. While they were searching the office, he brought up what she did to Ava. He warned her to stay away from Ava because she was ruthless.

Chloe thought Brady was messing with Philip concerning the trip to New York. Brady said he wasn’t doing that. He said Philip wasn’t her boss. She asked if Brady was ordering her to go with him since he was her boss. He said he wouldn’t do that. He said he could use her help and she could see Parker. Philip showed up. Philip told Brady he had a new proposal for a deal between Titan and Basic Black. Brady said he would look at it on the jet. When Brady left, Chloe told Philip that Brady wanted her to go with him to New York. Philip said he trusted her, but he didn’t trust Brady. Chloe told Philip that he was more important than business so if he didn’t want her to go, she wouldn’t. He said he would never keep her from her job. They kissed each other. Brady showed up and saw them. When Chloe left to call Parker, Philip threatened to kill Brady if he was inappropriate with Chloe.

Gwen went to see Xander to apologize to him. Xander said he was okay. He told her EJ was going to clear his name for a million dollars. She couldn’t believe he would do something selfless for her since no one did that for her before. He said he never did anything selfless before. She kissed him and wanted to make love with him. Abe talked to Paulina about her making up with Julie. He said Paulina and Lani made up too. Paulina was grateful. She wanted to know if they were okay. He wanted to start over again. They kissed each other. He said he wanted to be mad at her, but he couldn’t deny his feelings. He said it would be great not to have secrets and lies between them. Abe wanted to meet her mother so they went to see Olivia. Olivia was concerned when she found out Paulina made up with Abe. She said it was a mistake and Paulina knew why. Abe told her everyone forgave Paulina. When Abe left, Olivia told Paulina she was kidding herself if she thought she could tell the truth now. Paulina told Oliva that she wanted to tell Lani the truth. Paulina said she knew she had to keep the secret for the rest of her life or she would lose Lani forever.

Tripp told Allie he loved her. She didn’t say it back. She said she wasn’t ready to say the words. He understood and didn’t want to pressure her. She said she never said the words to anyone. She said she didn’t want to hurt him. He ended up getting a page and had to go to the hospital. Later, Allie went to see Marlena so she could get Henry. She told Marlena what happened with Tripp. She told Marlena about her feelings for Chanel. Marlena advised her to sort out her feelings before she moved on with Tripp. Chanel and Johnny went to the DiMera mansion. He took her upstairs so they could make out. She asked if he had protection. He said he would go to the pharmacy, but she wanted to hang out. She said she was rushing things for the wrong reasons. He thought it was because the girl she told him about. Chanel told Johnny that she liked him, but she needed to get over her. He was willing to offer his services if she wanted his help. She thanked him and kissed him. Chanel backed away from him. They flirted with each other before she left.

Belle went to Nicole’s office to give her divorce papers. They talked about Sami exposing Nicole’s affair. EJ came in the office. When Belle left, EJ let Nicole know he was glad she told him about Sami’s affair with Lucas. EJ felt free since the truth was finally revealed. Nicole didn’t think he was telling her how he really felt. He said he was upset. He said Sami was done making a fool out of him. Nicole understood his anger but felt his pain. She said she could relate to what he was going through, but she advised him to face it head on or it would eat him alive. EJ told Nicole he planned to focus on DiMera and Johnny. EJ asked her to talk to Johnny. She said keeping Johnny from pursuing his dream would make him want to prove him wrong. EJ regretted asking Nicole for her help. He would change Johnny’s mind.

Ciara ran into Claire when she went home. Ciara told her she was grateful to her. Ciara said she would have never remembered how much she loved Ben. She apologized for the way she talked to her. Ciara said she wanted to be close again. Shawn walked in while they were hugging. Shawn was happy that Ciara and Claire made up. When Ciara left, Belle came home. Claire told them she was leaving Salem. They didn’t like the idea of her going. Claire said it was a great opportunity. Belle asked if she was ready. Claire said she was ready. Allie and Johnny reunited. She introduced him to Henry. Johnny apologized for what Charlie did to her. He was proud of the mother she was and how she got over what happened. He told her about his movie and the way EJ acted about it. Allie and Johnny talked about Sami and her drama with their fathers. They talked about Sami leaving town to be alone. Allie asked him about his love life. He said he met someone.
