Billy and Lily decide to buy a condo in the same building that Billy lived in when he and Phyllis were a couple.

Ashland finds Tara at the Grand Phoenix and he tells her he has filed for divorce. Ashland gets ready for a long and bitter divorce battle with Tara. Kyle tells Tara he is ready to take a paternity test and help her keep custody of Harrison. Summer is worried when Kyle thinks Tara and Harrison should move into the Abbott mansion to protect Tara and Harrison from Ashland but she doesn’t tell Kyle how she feels because she wants to be supportive of him.

Chloe goes to visit Chelsea at the mental hospital and promises Chelsea she will find out Adam’s plans for Connor. Rey suspects Chelsea may be faking her mental illness so she won’t go to jail. Sharon thinks Rey should let another detective finish up the case so they can move on with their lives.

Kyle tries to find the words to tell his dad he is a grandfather.

Chloe tells Kevin the truth about what she did to help Chelsea with her plan to poison Rey. Kevin worries Chloe might end up in jail, but Chloe assures him she will not be implicated in the scheme.

Billy and Lily decide where they want to live after looking at places online. Billy and Lily see Victoria saying goodbye to Ashland and they wonder why Victoria is really meeting with Ashland.

Nick and Adam give brotherly bonding a try as they watch baseball together, but their first try is very awkward. Adam and Victor decide to name their new company Newman media and enjoy the fact Victoria will be upset about it.

Chelsea meets with Rey at the mental hospital to ask for his forgiveness for what she did to him. Summer tells Phyllis that Harrison is Kyle’s son and Kyle plans to claim paternity in order to protect Harrison from Ashland. Phyllis advises Summer not to be scared of Ashland Locke because she and Kyle will get through this with the help of their families. Summer tells Kyle she is scared to lose him once he becomes Harrison’s father. Kyle assures Summer their relationship will be fine because he and Tara haven’t made any decisions about any kind of relationship with Harrison.

Abby tells Victoria she feels sad because Chance isn’t home to share all the important events surrounding the birth of their baby with her. Victoria helps Abby focus on the positive things she has in her life right now. Victoria and Abby plan to meet at Society later to have dinner.

Billy and Lily plan to undermine Victor and Adam’s media company before Victor and Adam officially become the new owners of the company. Billy takes Lily some place because he has a surprise for her.

Ashland demands that Kyle and Summer tell him Tara and Harrison’s whereabouts, but Kyle and Summer insist they don’t have any idea where Tara and Harrison could be. Kyle tells Summer the only way to protect Harrison is to tell everyone that he and not Ashland is his father. Summer wants Kyle to think things through first and find out if Ashland knows the truth about Harrison’s paternity. Victoria has drinks with Ashland at Society while she is waiting for Abby to arrive for dinner. Tara gets nervous when Summer gets a text message from Phyllis telling her that Ashland had been in the lobby of the Grand Phoenix threatening to call the police if she didn’t tell him Tara’s room number.

Rey assures Faith that he will do everything possible to make his marriage to Sharon work. Devon advises Moses not to rush his relationship with Faith. Amanda has a long talk with Imani after which she decides to accept her help with their grandfather’s case. Devon advises Amanda to be careful because this case could be dangerous. Tara pleads with Kyle to claim Harrison as his son in order to protect Harrison from Ashland. Kyle later tells Summer everything he discussed with Tara and Summer is worried, but she trusts Kyle to make the right decision. Kyle gives the problem a lot of thought and is about to tell Summer his decision when Ashland knocks on his door.

Adam tells Victor he will try to be a better person, but he intends to use their new media company to crush Chancellor Communications and grind Billy into the ground. Rey asks Sharon to go to Crimson Lights so they can have a long overdue conversation. Kyle and Summer get ready for their engagement party that Jack is throwing for them at Society. Jack gives Kyle a watch that belonged to Kyle’s grandfather John and Phyllis gives Summer a necklace that Jack gave to her. The engagement party begins with a toast to the happy couple but after the toast everyone is surprised when Tara arrives to the party with her son Harrison.

Adam has a life changing dream in which he plays chess with Victor. While he visited playing the game, Billy, Chelsea, Chloe, Nick, Phyllis, Sharon, Rey, and Victoria all give Adam advice on how to win the game. Everyone except Phyllis and Victoria. In order to win the game he must change his strategy. Phyllis doesn’t think he will ever change. Victoria tells Adam that it doesn’t matter how you play the game the important thing is to win. When the dream ends Adam loses the game but when he awakens from the dream he is determined to change his life. Nate tells everyone that it appears Faith is accepting the kidney. Adam is sure that the transplant being successful is a sign that he made the right choice. Adam apologizes to Nick for everything and tells Sharon he won’t interfere in her relationship with Rey anymore. Adam tells Sharon that he knows Rey loves her and promises to make sure she and Rey get back together.

Victor promises Chelsea he will help her restart her life when she is released from the mental hospital. Victor heads to the hospital to tell Adam he is a free man because Chelsea poisoned Rey because she is suffering from post-stroke psychosis. The rest of the Newman family is shocked and saddened by the news of Chelsea’s breakdown. Nick tells Adam that he is willing to give him a chance to prove he has changed. Rey asked Sharon if she had an affair with Adam. Sharon is hurt that Rey would ask her that question and she wonders if they have a future together. Adam thinks about the best way to to tell Connor about Chelsea’s breakdown and also the future for him and Connor without Chelsea.

Faith and Adam come through the transplant surgery with flying colors. Faith’s family now must wait to see if Faith’s body accepts the kidney. Chelsea confesses to Rey and Michael that she poisoned Rey because Adam and Sharon’s affair pushed her to the brink and she had to teach them both a lesson. Chelsea tells Michael and Rey how she pulled off her plan and Michael and Rey can tell Chelsea is having a mental breakdown before their eyes. Victor brings in a doctor who tells Michael and Rey he thinks that Chelsea is suffering from post-stroke psychosis and that she needs to be in psychiatric care. Michael and Rey agree and Michael puts Chelsea in the care of the doctor. Michael tells Victor that Adam is a free man. Once Rey and Michael leave the ranch the audience discovers that Victor has helped Chelsea make Michael and Rey think she has had a mental breakdown to keep her out of jail.

Lily sends Billy on a romantic scavenger hunt which leads him to Society where they dance and have dinner. Lily accepts Billy’s invitation to find a place where they can live together. Chelsea is scared that Victor will go through with his threat to take custody of Connor away from her if she doesn’t confess to poisoning Rey. Chloe suggests that Chelsea grab Connor get new identities for both her and Connor and run. Chelsea thinks that she has to confess to her crime because Victor will always find her if she runs away. Adam tells Sharon she will always be a part of him but he has no intention of breaking up her marriage. Faith worries that Adam won’t go through with the transplant. Rey promises Nick he won’t arrest Adam until after the transplant.

Kyle and Summer start making plans for a wedding in the fall. Jack wants to give Kyle and Summer an engagement party. Mariah agrees to be Kyle’s best person despite the fact that she thinks he will have to grab the rings from her very pregnant stomach. Devon invites Victor and Nate to a celebration honoring Neil’s life. Sharon tells Faith Nick and Adam will be home soon so Adam can donate his kidney to her. Nate tells Sharon Faith isn’t responding to the steroid treatment. Amanda turns down Michael’s plea deal for her grandfather which would have him spend twenty years in jail. Victor tries to find out why Amanda took Sutton Ames case, but he has no luck. Victor continues to pressure Michael to clear Adam’s name as soon as possible because he is innocent.

Moses is a supportive friend to Faith as he helps her talk through her feelings about her illness. Billy persuades Lily to allow a reporter to follow Nick because he thinks Nick knows Adam’s location. Billy overhears Nikki and Victoria talking about Faith’s illness at Society. Billy promises Victoria he will pull the plug on the story for Faith’s sake. Lily gets the wrong idea when she comes into Society and sees Billy holding Victoria’s hand. Adam tries to persuade Nick to wait until the tornado passes in the storm cellar, but he wants them to go back to Geneva City as soon as possible. Nick does his best to open the door to the storm cellar so they can leave as soon as the storm passes. Nick and Adam and Nick are able to open the door but when they do the roof of the storm cellar collapses on top of c them.

Imani warns Amanda that their grandfather is only using her to get out of legal trouble but once the case is over he will forget about her. Imani tells Amanda that their grandfather will never accept her as part of the family. Amanda refuses to believe this and thinks Imani doesn’t want to share their grandfather with her.

Tara tells Kyle she and Ashland are headed to New York tomorrow and she texts him a picture of Harrison for him to keep since she doesn’t expect to return to Genoa City. Nick and Sharon begin to call family in case Faith needs a kidney transplant. There isn’t a match for Faith in the family until Victor remembers that Adam has the same rare blood type as Faith. Sharon remembers what Adam told her when she spoke to him on the phone. Sharon tells Victor and Nick that Adam told her he is some place he can heal that isn’t home but is some place new. Victor’s security team is able to trace the phone number Sharon gave Nick to Leavenworth Kansas. Victor thinks Adam is staying at AJ Montalbo’s farm. Nick goes to Kansas to try and persuade Adam to save Faith’s life.

Kyle and Jack are happy that the manufacturing crisis at Jabot has ended and that Ashland Locke will be going back to New York as soon as he is out of the hospital. Victor is worried because his security team is unable to find Adam. Sally tells Jack she has deep feelings for him and will work hard to earn back his trust. Summer wants to announce her engagement to Kyle and begin to plan their weeding. Faith is taken to the hospital and after running tests, Nate tells Sharon and Nick Faith has an infection that has damaged her kidneys. Nate consults with specialists and later tells Nick that Faith may need a kidney transplant and since Faith has a rare blood type it could be hard to find a match for her.

Sally asks Summer to give her a chance to put her psst behind her and make a fresh start in Genoa City. Sally also tells Summer that because of all the anamosity between them she lost Jack who she was beginning to love. Jack is surprised when he overhears Sally tell Summer she has feelings for him.

Kyle has a talk with Tara who tells him the heart attack has changed Ashland and he has fixed the problems with the Jabot factories, as well as continuing with plans to advertise Jabot products on his new health and beauty platform. Jack and Kyle have a long talk about whether they should continue with the deal with Ashland in the end they decide to continue with the deal but get out of it as soon as Jabot has recovered from this crisis.

Adam calls Sharon to tell her he is okay and he is someplace where he can heal. Adam asks Sharon if he can call her once in a while to check on Chelsea and Connor. Adam also asks Sharon not to tell anyone he called her. Rey tells Michael he thinks Chelsea framed Adam and Michael tells him to follow his instinct. Rey interviews Chloe and notices she gets upset when he suggests that she is protecting Adam. Esther tells Nina she misses working at the Chancellor mansion so Nina suggests she work there once and a while. Faith feels queasy but decides to go to school and her first group therapy session. Faith is talking to her grandmother and her mom at Crimson Lights when she suddenly passes out.

Devon tells Amanda that if she implies that Victor or one of his employees had her father killed he might come after her because he wants to fight the accusations against him. Devon tells Amanda that he intends to start a small music label called Winters Mood to find up-and-coming jazz artists. Devon intends to give part of the proceeds from the label to the Abbott Winters substance abuse center. Nick and Victoria mend their relationship and talk about their kids and share pictures of them. Nikki argues with Victor because he keeps fighting with Victoria about business. Elena tries to reconnect with Nate but even their conversation about work is awkward. Victor’s head of security tells him they have been unable to find Adam, so Victor tells his men to look for Adam in Vegas. Lily gets upset with Billy because he asks Tara Locke to ask her husband to reconsider his deal with Victor. Billy also tells Tara Victor forced Ashland to sign the deal with him while he was having a heart attack. Billy realizes that Lily was. right and once he tells her he was wrong they make up.

Nikki is upset with Victor when she walks in and sees Ashland having a heart attack, but Victor tells her not to call an ambulance until Ashland has signed the papers to sell Victor his company. Ashland tells Victor that this game isn’t over yet as he is taken to the hospital.

Summer asks Tara to persuade her husband to leave Jabot and the Abbott’s alone. Tara tells Summer that she has no influence over her husband when it comes to business but agrees to try and keep her husband away from Kyle. Kyle and Jack begin to panic as more of the Jabot factories are closed due to health and safety concerns. Kyle has an idea to shift all Jabot production to the Brash and Sassy and My Beauty factories until the Jabot factories can open again. Nikki calls Tara and tells her Ashland has had a heart attack and Tara rushes to the hospital.

Lily plans a special dinner at Society and asks Lola to make all of Billy’s favorite dishes for a romantic dinner. Nikki tells Victoria that Ashland had a heart attack and what Victor did to get Ash land’s company. Victoria goes to tell Billy the news and then heads to confront her father. Victoria decides to take Nikki’s advice and let Victor have the company so he can focus on Adam so she can run Newman Enterprises her way. Victoria tells Victor that he will no longer have any say in running Newman Enterprises because she is going to run the company alone so he can focus his attention on Adam. Tara tells Kyle she has an idea of how to keep Ashland away from Jabot. Tara also tells Kyle Ashland is having surgery to put in a pacemaker.

Lola tries to help Nate and Elena get back together by inviting them both to lunch so they can talk. The plan backfires because Nate doesn’t trust she won’t go back to Devon if he ever wanted to reconcile with her. Victoria is angry with Victor for always putting Adam ahead of her and always protecting him. Victor tells Nikki that Adam stayed at the ranch one night and then he left. Victor also tells Nikki he doesn’t know Adam’s new location. Nikki asks Victoria to take the first step to reconcile with her father because he won’t ever change his mind about Adam. Victoria recalls a recent conversation with Victor where he told her it would be a mistake to get back together with Billy. Victoria calls Billy and leaves him a message inviting him to family game night with the kids.

Tara interrupts Kyle and Ashland’s conversation before Kyle can tell him about his affair with Tara. Tara persuades Ashland they should talk about this in private once they return home to New York. Ashland goes to his meeting with Victor where he wants Victor to raise the bid for his company. Victor refuses to do so and Ashland tells Victor that the company is no longer for sale. Ashland grabs his arm and chest and asks Victor to call for help because he thinks he is having a heart attack. Victor tells Ashland that if he wants help he will have to sign the contract to sell his company to him.

Lauren advises Sally to forget about her infatuation with Jack and move on with her life. Lola thinks Rey should fight for his marriage. Mariah is also worried about Sharon and Rey after Sharon tells her Rey plans to move out once Faith is back on her feet. Mariah and Lola try to figure out a way to help Sharon and Rey save their relationship. Tara returns to town and has a talk with Kyle and Summer because she is afraid that Ashland knows about her affair with Kyle. Summer and Tara both think Kyle should stay away from Ashland until they find out if he knows about the affair. Kyle is determined to tell Ashland he had an affair with Tara and offer to leave Jabot if Ashland will leave his family and the company alone.

Amanda tells her grandfather and mother that she thinks Richard was killed because he was blackmailing an unknown executive at Newman Enterprises. Amanda gets a text from her sister Imani that says “this will end badly for you.” Ashland sends Victor a text telling him if he increases his offer he won’t sell his company to Victoria. Lily worries that Victoria will get the wrong idea because Billy sent her flowers to congratulate her on the deal with Ashland Locke.
