Eli wanted Ivan to get away from the door. Ivan was impressed with his and Lani’s sleuthing. Lani demanded to know where her babies were. Ivan told them they were still alive. Chloe told Philip that Brady was okay. He was thankful for that. He thought his relationship with his father was in jeopardy. Kristen called Brady to check on him. He said he was fine, but he was upset. She was upset too and blamed Chloe for what happened. He was mad at her for what she did. Susan told Claire and Ben that Ciara was trapped in a glass box. Ciara tried to get away from Rhodes, but he grabbed her hand. She managed to get away, but he grabbed his gun to stop her from leaving. Philip thought everyone blamed him for what happened to Brady. Chloe told him one person didn’t blame him. She let him know that Kristen blamed her for what happened. Brady and Kristen argued over her breaking out of jail. Philip and Chloe talked about Kristen being after her. He regretted getting her help, but she didn’t mind doing it. He was grateful that she was always by his side. She told him that he was her friend. He wondered if that’s all they were. He kissed her. Eli and Lani warned Ivan to step aside. Ivan figured the doctor told them where to find him. Eli told him they were coming inside, but Ivan told them it would be a mistake. Ben was surprised when Susan said there was a gun. He wanted to know what happened. Claire asked her if the gun was fired and she said she lost the signal. Ben asked her to try again, but the signal was lost. She said there might be a way to connect to Ciara.

Rhodes warned Ciara that he had no problem shooting her. She reminded him that Vincent wasn’t paying him to guard a corpse. She knew he wasn’t going to shoot her. Susan held Ben’s hands and realized that Ciara was fighting to get back to him. She continued to visualize what happened when Claire interrupted her. Rhodes let Ciara know he was tired of guarding her. He also told her how he had one thing in his favor. The world thought she was dead so he could kill her. She gave in and went back inside the room. Kristen thought Chloe guilted Brady into helping her. Kristen confronted Brady about lying to her. He admitted that he lied. She wanted to know why he lied to her unless something was going on with Chloe. Chloe stopped the kiss with Philip. He thought he was trying to fix things. He admitted he made the biggest mistake by letting him go. He wanted to have another chance with her. Eli couldn’t believe Ivan threatened his kids while he had a gun to his head. Ivan knew Eli and Lani wanted to be reunited with the babies, but they had to do it a certain way. He said Vivian was fragile so getting the babies would be hard. Lani offered to talk to her. He reminded her that she killed her son. He thought she would hurt them to get back at her. Susan continued to have visions about Ciara. She screamed because a gun went off. Ciara fought Rhodes over the gun. He told her one of them could have been killed. She thought someone heard the gunshot. He reminded her the room was soundproof. He warned her the next time someone got hurt it would be her. Ben wanted to know what else happened. Susan didn’t see anymore. Ben demanded she try harder to find out what happened to Ciara. Claire stopped Ben from forcing Susan to tell him about Ciara. Brady continued to explain to Kristen why he didn’t tell her about Chloe. Chloe thought Philip was dealing with too much right now. Philip recapped what he did and realized he wouldn’t be good for her. He wondered if she was interested in another former boyfriend. Eli refused to give up his gun. Lani was willing to leave her gun in the hallway. Eli wanted to make sure Ivan wasn’t armed. Eli put down his gun. They went inside the apartment and she noticed a towel. Lani picked it up and sniffed it. Chloe told Philip that Brady was just a friend and she wasn’t interested in him. Philip reminded her that Kristen was going to be in prison longer so he would want to be with her. She said Brady loved Kristen. He told her Brady was jealous when he thought they slept together. Kristen thought Brady would fall for someone else while she was in jail. He didn’t like how she did something to keep them away from each other. Susan showed up in Brady’s room. Ben felt like he lost Ciara all over again. Ciara called out for help. Ivan wanted Eli and Lani’s phones. He told them their children were on the other side of the door. He wanted them to promise they would be gentle with Vivian. Eli demanded he let them in the apartment. They went inside the bedroom and he locked them in the room. Ivan went to Vivian and lied about who was at the door. Vivian appreciated what he did for her. He refused to let anyone get in the way of her raising her children. Chloe thought Philip should focus on what he’s dealing with now and not about her and Brady. He wanted to clean up his act and hoped they would get back together. Kristen was upset that Susan was free and she was stuck in prison. She had an idea about Susan. Susan talked to Brady about having a premonition about him being shot.

Susan went to see Marlena to tell her that she had a premonition that Brady got shot. Marlena said he was shot. Brady wanted to know why he was in the hospital. Chloe told him he was shot. Lani tried to convince Eli that Vivian was behind the kidnapping. He said Vivian died of a heart attack. He said she died of a massive heart attack. Lani asked if there was a death certificate. He said he saw it. She asked if Ivan claimed her body right away. Eli said he did. Vivian told Ivan to take the babies back. He said he couldn’t. He said he got them from a reputable place. He said the deal was done. She said she wasn’t young enough to take care of the twins. Rhodes tried to tell Ciara that Ben thought she was dead. She said he would never think that. He said Ben probably moved on already. Ben told Claire that he thought Ciara was alive. He said he knew it in his heart that she was alive. Ben wondered if Claire thought he was losing it. She didn’t think he was losing it and she didn’t think Hope was losing it either. She hoped he and Ciara had the connection like the other couples. She had to go to Marlena’s place and she suggested he go with her. Susan arrived and let Marliena know she had a premonition Brady would be shot. Marlena told her that he was shot. Susan wanted to know what happened. Marlena explained what happened. Susan thought Kristen was behind it. Susan couldn’t believe Brady would be with Kristen. Marlena defended Kristen to Susan. She told Susan that Kristen broke out of prison to be with Brady. Eli wanted to know why Vivian’s body was released so quickly. Ivan told Vivian that all she had to do was love the twins. She said they could do worse than have a mother like her. Chloe told Brady he was in her room when the mob showed up. She asked if he remembered that. He said he remembered some of it. She said the mob was trying to kill Philip, but got him instead. She said it was her fault. Ben and Claire went to see Marlena. Susan told Ben to stay away from her. Ciara pretended to have a pain in her stomach. Rhodes asked what was wrong with her. She said it was the food. She said he poisoned her.

Rhodes said he didn’t poison Ciara’s food. He said Vincent needed her alive. She told him to help her. Marlena told Susan that she wasn’t in danger. She said he wasn’t going to hurt her or anyone else. She said Ben had the same therapy he did. Susan said she was going through a hard time. Marlena said Ben wouldn’t hurt her. Brady told Chloe it wasn’t her fault. She said she dragged him in the mess. He said he chose to get involved. She said Sarah told him he was going to make a full recovery. He said Philip was the one to blame for not turning down her offer. She said Kristen blamed her. He asked if Kristen was upset. She said she broke out of prison. Eli and Lani talked about the warehouse Nicole was in with Vivian. He wanted to call Nicole to find out where the warehouse was. Claire told Marlena that Ben had to tell her something about Ciara. Marlena said she wanted to hear it. Ciara told Rhoades to open the door. She passed out. Rhodes went in the room. Eli and Lani went to the warehouse. He tried to open the door, but it was locked. He wanted to shoot the door, but she stopped him. He said their babies were inside. She said they couldn’t go in there shooting. Chloe told Brady that Kristen had a gun. He said she could have added years to her sentence. Ben told Marlena why he thought Ciara was still alive. Ben told Susan that he thought Ciara was alive. Susan said she believed in premonitions. She said she believed that Ciara could be alive. She said she would do everything she could to help him find Ciara. Rhodes tried to help Ciara. Brady told Chloe to tell him what was going on. He thought she wasn’t telling him something. She told him that Kristen threatened to kill her. She said John stopped her, but Kristen warned her that it wasn’t over. Susan said Ciara was alive. Ciara hit Rhodes on the head with a tray when his back was turned.

Jack offered to write a check for Gwen so she could leave his family alone. He wasn’t happy about what she put his family through. Gwen wanted to know how much he spent on Abby. She didn’t think it was enough. Laura noticed Tiffany wasn’t cashing the checks she wrote to her. She called the bank and found out the account was closed. Abby wanted to know about Tiffany’s child. Laura apologized for what happened. Dr. Raynor told Eli and Lani how she started over and thought she put the past behind her. She got a call from someone who knew she switched the babies. He was going to tell her new employers what she did. Eli wanted to know exactly what the guy said. She told him how the guy wanted her to take the babies. Eli wasn’t happy that the man knew they were having twins. Ivan arrived with the twins. Vivian let him know she was home. Vivian wanted to know where Ivan was and he assured her that he was fine. She was worried someone might have seen him. She thought the police would come get her and take her to jail. He told her that he wouldn’t put her in jeopardy. She wasn’t happy about pretending to be dead again. She apologized for the way she talked to him. He was okay with it. She felt alone. He told her that she had them. Vivian wanted to know what was in the carriage. Lani was upset that Dr. Raynor gave the man her babies. Laura felt bad because she made a mess out of everything. Abby seemed to understand what she did. Jack couldn’t believe Gwen didn’t think he gave her enough. She reminded him about how much he spent on Abby. He asked her if she wanted the check or not. She slapped him. He said he didn’t pay off her mother. She said he was a liar. She thought he didn’t want Abby to know what type of person he was. She regretted meeting him. She said she hated him even more than she did before.

Lani was upset with Dr. Raynor and didn’t want to hear sorry anymore. Eli wanted her to tell him everything from the beginning. She said she was given a key to a hotel room. The man wanted to pick up the babies from there. She said Xander was supposed to meet her, but he never showed up. Ivan told Vivian that he stole the babies for her. She wanted to know why he did it. Laura wanted to know how Jennifer really felt about the bomb she dropped. Jack showed up and told them he was Gwen’s father. He swore he didn’t know about the baby. She wanted Laura to tell him what she told her. Chad showed up at Gwen’s place and let her know he didn’t tell the police that Abby hit her. He was determined to do whatever it took to bring her down. He took a handkerchief and wiped some of the makeup off of her face. Ivan thought Vivian would be happy that he got the babies. Lani didn’t understand how she could do that for someone she didn’t know. Dr. Raynor assured Lani that the man wouldn’t hurt the babies. Lani wanted to know his name, but Dr. Raynor didn’t know it. Eli wanted her to tell them what she did know. She felt like the man was planning to go through with his scheme for a long time. Vivian explained to Ivan that she was younger when she had her twins. He assured her that she was eternally young. She said she wasn’t their parent. He said their parents weren’t in any position to raise the twins. He said they needed her. Laura told Jack how she was the one writing the checks to Gwen’s mother. Jack didn’t understand why she didn’t ask how old the child was. He said he couldn’t help Gwen because Laura didn’t say anything. He knew why Gwen was so hateful towards them. Laura apologized and said Tiffany was horrible. He demanded to know who gave her the right to play God. Gwen reminded Chad how he was too willing to believe the worst in Abby and jump in his bed. She warned him that she was going after Abby. He warned Gwen to stay away from Abby. Abby overheard the threat and walked in the hotel room. Gwen told her that Chad threatened her. Gwen wanted them to leave, but Abby refused to leave until she was finished. Jack continued to yell at Laura for keeping the truth from him. He refused to let what she did go. He thought what she did was so cruel. Ivan lied to Vivian about the twins’ parents. He made her think their parents didn’t want any contact with them. He said they would be thrilled if she took the babies. Dr. Raynor said the man made a call to someone who was going to take the babies. Lani didn’t understand why she waited so long to tell them about the call. Vivian didn’t think it was right to take care of the twins. Ivan assured her that she wouldn’t be able to let them go once she takes care of them. He wouldn’t forgive himself for failing her with Stefan and Jake. He wanted to make it up to her. She appreciated it, but she couldn’t do it. Laura blamed herself for what happened to Gwen. She was only concerned with Jennifer’s feelings. Jack reminded her how Gwen was her child and she had no idea what they’ve been through because of that child. Laura was crying and couldn’t believe what she did. Abby told Gwen that Jack didn’t pay her mother off. Gwen didn’t believe it. Abby said she knew who it was. She said Tiffany never spoke to their dad. He never knew about her and didn’t pay off Tiffany. Gwen said she resented Abby for her life. Gwen was ready to kill the person who lied to her. Abby and Chad left the hotel. Chad wanted to know if what she said as true. She said her grandmother paid Tiffany off. Lani figured out that Ivan was the one who took the twins. She realized that Vivian had the babies.

Lani was afraid Raynor was lying to them. Gwen was happy that Jack couldn’t deny her being his daughter. He told her that he wouldn’t challenge the results of the test. He said he never had his secretary send her a check. He said he called his secretary and she said she never wrote the checks. Gwen said somebody was lying and it wasn’t her. Laura told Jennifer that she wanted to come to town and stop Gwen, but she was too late. She said there was nothing stopping her from telling what she knew. Nicole told Rafe that Eric was staying away longer. She said he didn’t ask her if he could stay. She said he turned down the job when it was offered to him, but now he didn’t consult her before agreeing to stay. Rafe tried to get her to realize that Eric wouldn’t be gone long. She said she missed him. Laura told Jennifer and Abby about what happened 25 years ago. It was around the time Jack and Laura came back to town. There was a flashback of Gwen’s mother looking for Jack. Jack told Gwen that he was going to get to the bottom of what happened. She wanted him to welcome her, but he said it was hard to do after everything she did to Abby. They argued over what she did to him and Abby. Laura finished telling Jennifer about Tiffany (Gwen’s mother). Tiffany told Laura that she had a fling with Jack. Jennifer couldn’t believe that Gwen was Jack’s daughter.

Laura continued to tell Jennifer and Abby about Tiffany wanting to see Jack. Jennifer said she didn’t hear anything. Abby said Jack should have known. Laura said he didn’t know. Gwen told Jack that he spawned her. She said he shouldn’t be surprised that she turned out the way she did. She said it was in her genes. Raynor was waiting for Xander. Abby wanted to know about the money Gwen was talking about. Laura told them that she paid her off. Laura apologized for what she did. Raynor told Eli and Lani that she started a new life in New York. She said she got a call from someone who told her that he knew about the baby switch. She said he threatened to expose what she did if she didn’t help him. Tony walked in the room while Jake thought about kissing Gabi. He saw Jake looking at Gabi’s proposal and wanted to give him some tips about it. Tony thought taking over Gabi Chic would be good for the business, but it wouldn’t be good for his personal life. Rafe told Gabi about his day with Nicole. She reminded him that Nicole was married. He wanted her to be careful with Jake. Gabi said Jake wasn’t a married man and Kate never stays with one man. He wasn’t so sure, and left for work. Jake showed up at Rafe’s place and saw Gabi wasn’t dressed. He stammered while he was talking. She didn’t plan on getting dressed because he’s seen her before. He let her know he was turning down her business proposal. She tried to convince him that the proposal was a good idea. He was adamant about not doing the deal. She believed he didn’t want to do it because he was afraid to be around her. He let her know that he didn’t want to do it because she will constantly think he’s Stefan and he couldn’t be him. He allowed her to have the rights to her company. Jack admitted to Jennifer that he possibly slept with Tiffany, but he couldn’t remember her name. He wasn’t proud because he felt like it happened to someone else. He believed he would have remembered a woman coming to him about a child. Jennifer thought it was possible there was another Jack Deveraux who fathered Gwen. They realized it was a stretch. Jennifer thought his assistant might have dealt with it. He decided to call his assistant about it. She didn’t remember dealing with Tiffany and Gwen. He got a call from the lab. He was told the paternity test results were done.

Gwen looked at herself and saw the black eye she had. She wanted it to be darker. She planned on making Abby pay for what she did. Abby went to the station and asked Rafe if Gwen was going to be charged for drugging her. Rafe didn’t know if Rolf’s word was enough to get her indicted, but he had to wait for the DA to let him know. Gwen arrived at the station sporting her black eye. She thought Abby should be arrested. Gwen and Abby argued until the lab calling Gwen interrupted them. Gwen left to go to the hospital. Rafe advised Abby not to go after her because she’s dangerous. Abby wanted him to arrest Gwen. Gwen arrived at the hospital. She saw Julie and they got into an argument. Jack heard the argument and stopped them. Julie tried to lunge out to Gwen before she left. Gwen showed Jack the paternity test results. Gwen called him “daddy”. Laura arrived at the Horton house and hugged Jennifer. Laura said she was back because she read what happened. Jennifer and Abby told her how Gwen claimed to be Jack’s daughter and he abandoned her. They didn’t think it was true. Laura told them that she was the one sending the checks.

Steve told Shawn that he had proof that Charlie raped Allie. Tripp gave Charlie an envelope. Charlie saw that it was a DNA test. He wanted to know how Tripp got it. Tripp said it was from his toothbrush. Charlie said he knew he was up to something. Tripp said he was looking for something to set him up. Charlie said it wouldn’t stick because it was inadmissible. Tripp said it would make the police do their own test. Charlie said it still wouldn’t be enough because it didn’t happen in Salem. Tripp said they would get more evidence. He said it would clear his name. Ben and Claire talked about Ciara. Ciara kept screaming for help. A guy name Rhodes told her that no one could hear her. She said she was going to do it anyway. Allie told Belle that Charlie was the one who raped her. She said Marlena hypnotized her. Charlie told Tripp that he couldn’t lose Claire. Tripp said he would lose her when she found out he raped Allie. Charlie said he would never hurt Claire. Tripp said unless she turned him down. Charlie said he would make her understand. Tripp wanted to know how he was going to do that. Ben told Claire that he thought Ciara was still alive too. Claire said she wanted to believe it too. She tried to convince him that Ciara wasn’t alive. Ciara wanted to know why Rhodes wanted to keep her there. He said he wasn’t the mastermind. He said it was Vincent. Tripp wanted to know if he was going to rape Claire. Charlie said Claire was special. He said he would never hurt her. He said he cared about her. Tripp thought he didn’t care about Allie. He told him that he needed to take responsibility for what he did. He said he had a son and needed to show him that he could take responsibility for what he did. Ben told Claire about seeing Ciara. He thought she was giving him a sign when he wanted to kill Vincent. Ciara wanted to know why Rhodes was working with Vincent. Rhodes said Vincent was always good to him. She told him that she stabbed Vincent with his syringe. She said he thought she was Wendy until he saw her wedding ring.

Belle and Allie went to see Shawn at the police station. Belle said they were there because of Charlie. Shawn said Steve showed him the DNA results. Allie said she didn’t need the results because she remembered that Charlie raped her. Shawn said he would take her statement. She agreed to make a statement. Charlie told Tripp that he wanted him to go. Tripp told him that he couldn’t run away from what he did. Ben was convinced that there was a psychic connection between him and Ciara. Claire said her grandparents had a connection. Ciara told Rhodes what happened when she ran into him. Rhodes said the car exploded. He said her family believed she was dead. She said Shawn and Hope were cops and Ben would never give up on her. Rhodes said Vincent gave a statement about her being dead. He said her family had a memorial for her. He said her family believed she was dead. She was convinced that Ben wouldn’t give up on her. Rhodes told her that she was right. He said her mother was looking for her even though he sent her to the wrong place. She told him she wanted to go home to her family. She said Vincent’s plan blew up and wondered why he wanted to keep her. He said Vincent still had a lot of money. He told her she could get used to being there. Allie went to see Tripp. She said she gave a statement to the police about Charlie. He asked if she believed him. She said believed him already because she was hypnotized. She apologized for ruining his life. Ciara offered Rhodes money to let her go. He turned down her request. He told her she would be stuck there for a long time. Tripp didn’t know what to tell Allie when she apologized to him. She told him he didn’t have to say anything. She didn’t expect him to accept her apology. She just wanted him to know. Belle told Claire that Allie was in therapy with Marlena and had a clear memory of being raped by Charlie. She said Allie gave a statement to the police and they were probably arresting him. Shawn went to Charlie’s apartment and told him he was under arrest.

She said it wasn’t about what she did or didn’t do. She said he committed a terrible crime against her. She said she wouldn’t pressure her. She wanted to do what was right for her. Allie said she needed to know what happened to her so she could make him pay. Abby wanted Chad to tell the police that Gwen was the one who drugged her. He said he would do it. He said there wasn’t any point. Gwen ran into Charlie. She asked him if he was the one who attacked Ava. He told her not to believe what she read. He told her about the article he read about her. Marlena said she would push her to remember.

Marlena continued to hypnotize Allie. Allie remembered spending time with Tripp. Allie said Tripp was a perfect gentleman. Allie told Ben that Charlie didn’t judge her even when she told her that she spent time in a mental institution. She said he the only one guy who didn’t judge her. She asked if he understood what she meant. He said he did. She couldn’t believe she trusted a kidnapper and a rapist. She said she was stupid to do it. When Marlena wouldn’t tell her the truth, she told her to leave. Marlena told her John and Steve went to investigate whether or not Tripp raped Allie. Claire said his DNA matched. Marlena said there was a chance someone else could have done it. Claire wanted to know what that had to do with Charlie. Kayla tried to take Ava’s blood, but she wouldn’t let her. She said her son already tried to kill her. Kayla said Tripp loved her and would never kill her. Ava said she was talking about her other son. Kayla wanted to know who her other son was. Ava said Charlie. Charlie went to his apartment and saw that Ava was gone. He panicked that she told the police. He thought no one would believe her over him. He said he couldn’t lose Claire and had to fix it. When he was about to leave, Rafe was outside of his apartment.

Ben went to see Marlena. He said she was the only one he could turn to. She wanted to know what was going on. He told her he still saw Ciara. He said she was still with him. Marlena told him Ciara was still with him. He told her he felt better when he was sleep because he was with Ciara. He said he was going through the motions when he was awake. Marlena told him that most people who were grieving were going through the same thing he was going through. She suggested he talk to Claire. John told Steve that Charlie was in Salem. Steve wasn’t convinced that Charlie was the one in Salem. John told him Charlie wore glasses and was clumsy. Steve didn’t think that was enough. John said Charlie was good at math and worked at Titan. Steve still wasn’t sure that he was Charlie. Nicole talked to Rafe about Tripp. Rafe told her Tripp changed. Nicole didn’t care about the changes Tripp made. Rafe brought up that Ava was missing. Nicole thought he would be happy if Ava wasn’t found.

Rafe thought Nicole was trying to say that he wasn’t working hard enough to find Ava. Nicole said she didn’t hear anything from him when she asked him to look for her. He said there wasn’t a lead on Ava. Steve asked John if he thought Charlie was Claire’s new boyfriend. John said they had to go back to Salem to find out. He said if it was true, he didn’t want Charlie near Claire. Allie overheard Tripp saying that someone else raped her. She confronted him about it. He said one of his relatives might have raped her. She didn’t believe him. He asked her if she remembered seeing him hold her down. Nicole apologized to Rafe for accusing him of not doing his job. While they were talking, they talked about Eric and how she talks to him every night. John called Marlena and told her Tripp had a half-brother. He told her he thought Charlie was Tripp’s half-brother. Tripp asked Allie what she remembered. He asked if she remembered his hands, face or voice. He told her she didn’t have to answer. He said he wouldn’t bother her again. He said when John and Steve came home, his lawyer would talk to her lawyer. He apologized and left.

Abby wanted to know what Chad would have done if he knew Gwen was lying. He said he wouldn’t have gotten drunk and stayed at the Salem Inn. Abby asked where Gwen was. Gwen said she was with Chad. Abby asked if she spent the night with her husband. Steve and John confronted Angelo. John asked if he raped his granddaughter. Angelo didn’t know what he was talking about. Angelo told Steve to call off his guard dog. Steve said John’s granddaughter was raped and wanted to know if he did it. Steve said Allie had a baby and it matched his DNA. Angelo said it wasn’t him. Steve said Tripp didn’t do it. Angelo said Tripp’s DNA matching meant he did it. Steve said Tripp didn’t do it. He said a relative did it. John asked Angelo when he was in London. Kayla talked to Marlena about Steve believing Tripp was innocent. While they were talking, Kayla brought up that Ava was missing. Marlena asked if anyone knew she was missing. Kayla said it was as if she vanished. Tripp posted a flyer of Ava up at the Pub. Roman told him he couldn’t do it. He said h didn’t want the flyer up. He said Ava didn’t deserved to be found. He wanted Tripp to go out of town the same way she did. Gwen asked Abby if she was asking her if she slept with Chad. Abby asked if she did. Gwen said she spent the night with him because he was drunk. Abby said she was coming to his rescue. Gwen asked if she would rather have left him alone. Abby said she wanted her to explain why she told Chad she kissed Jake and why she told Chad that she booked the room. She also wanted to know what other lies she was telling. Gwen told her she would tell her the truth, but she wouldn’t like it. Allie showed up while Marlena and Kayla were talking. Kayla left them alone. Allie told Marlena that she was out with Claire and thought about the night she was raped. Marlena asked if something triggered it. Allie said she was with Claire and her boyfriend. Allie asked if that might have triggered it.

Angelo told John and Steve that he wasn’t in London. He wanted to know what happened. Steve told Angelo that Tripp took Allie home and was a gentleman. Angelo said he wouldn’t have done something like that. Steve said he had someone try to kill Kayla. Angelo said he thought Kayla killed Ava. He said it turned out to be his son. While he was talking, he said he wasn’t in London. He said he was in jail in December. Steve and John didn’t believe him. He said they could check and they would find out. Gwen told Abby that she saw Jake and Kate kissing. She said Jake threatened her if she said anything. Abby wanted to know what that had to do with her. Gwen continued to tell her why she said the things she said, Abby didn’t believe her. Abby said she knew why she was lying to her. Abby thought Gwen was trying to go after her husband. Abby asked if she took advantage of her husband. Gwen asked if Chad felt like he was taken advantage of. Angelo told John and Steve that Ava’s other son could have been the one who raped Allie. Chad told Abby that he wasn’t taken advantage of. He told Gwen that she was manipulating them with their half-truths and lies. Gwen said she was sorry he felt that way. Abby said sorry wasn’t good enough. She said she wanted her out of the house. Allie talked to Marlena about Tripp and Charlie looking alike. Roman was upset that Tripp told him Steve and John were working together to prove that he was innocent. Angelo told John and Steve that Ava didn’t mention her other son because Ava and her son weren’t close. Steve told John that Ava’s son would explain the DNA results. John wanted to know about her son. Angelo said his name was Charlie. Abby told Gwen she was fired. Gwen said she couldn’t do that. Abby said she did it. Gwen asked about the kids. Abby said they would get over it. Gwen wanted to know if Chad felt the same way. Abby said he did. Gwen wanted him to answer for himself. Abby told her to stay away from her kids and her husband. She said she couldn’t believe she thought they were friends. She told her she better be gone by the time she got back. Steve asked Angelo where Charlie was. Angelo said he left a little while ago. Steve and John wanted more information. Angelo said he wanted to look for his cousin. Steve said he wasn’t leaving until he told them what they wanted to know. Angelo wanted him to move out of the way. Chad told Gwen that she lied to him about everything. She said it didn’t take much for him to believe it. He said it would crush Abby if she found out the truth. He told her he wanted her out. She said she wasn’t leaving. She said to convince Abby that she was staying. He wanted to know how he was supposed to do that. She said he better make it believable or she would tell Abby that he decided to bed her to ring in the New Year.

Chad found Abby with Jake. Chad confronted her about being with Jake. Abby said nothing was going on between them. Chad told her about the room she reserved. She said she didn’t reserve a room. He showed her the receipt with her credit card number on it. Jennifer asked Kate if she was embarrassed to be with Jake. Kate said she wasn’t embarrassed by him. She said she was concerned about herself. Ava wanted to know what Charlie was going to do with her. He said he was going to have her committed. Jack confronted Gwen about the clippings she had. Gwen said she was doing her research on the family. Jennifer wanted to know why Kate was embarrassed by herself. Kate said Jake was younger with her. Jennifer told her she dated younger men before. Kate said that made it worse. Jennifer told her she was Kate Roberts and she shouldn’t care what anyone thought. Jack told Gwen that he and Jennifer were back together. He said he and Jennifer compared notes. Gwen said she encouraged Jennifer to get back together. He said Jennifer told him that she didn’t encourage them to get back. Gwen said she planned a party for them. He said the party ended in disaster. He wondered if she had something to do with that. Chad couldn’t believe Abby wanted to be with Jake in his house. He said it didn’t make any sense. She said she confronted Jake and he admitted it. Chad said it didn’t explain why Gwen said she saw her kissing him. Gwen told Jack that she didn’t make Abby look through Kate’s things. He told her that the letter and party didn’t add up. Gwen asked if he thought she was plotting against his family this entire time. He said maybe. She wanted to know why she would want to hurt him or his family. Jennifer told Kate not to be afraid to be with Jake. Jake ended up showing up. Jennifer left them alone.

Jake warned Kate that Abby was most likely telling Chad about them being together. He said it wasn’t a problem since they were over. She said she didn’t want it to be over. Gwen told Jack about the things he’s done. He said he did hurt his family. He said she didn’t want him for an enemy. He walked out of the room. Chad asked Abby about the folder. She said Gwen had a folder with clippings about her and her family. He wanted to know why she was looking in Gwen’s room. Abby said Anna told her the nanny was trying to go after her husband. He told her about being paranoid. She told him not to say that to her. He said Gwen was trying to do research on the family. Abby wanted to confront her. Kate told Jake him she was insecure. He wanted to know why she felt that way. She said she was afraid that people were going to say she was too old for him. He said he didn’t care. She wanted to know prove she didn’t if they got back together. Abby and Chad confronted Gwen about the clippings. Gwen said she wanted to research the family. Anna asked Kate if she was looking for Jake. Kate wanted to know how she knew she was looking for him. Anna said she knew she was having sex with Jake. Kate told her to mind her business. She walked out of the room. Anna talked to Tony about Gwen was targeting Abby’s family. Jack walked in while they were talking. He wanted to know what they were talking about. Anna told him about the clippings Gwen had about Abby and the family. She was convinced Gwen had an agenda against Abby. He realized Gwen was a conniving tramp. Anna thought it was time for her to leave town. Tony felt the DiMeras had to deal with the problem. Jennifer ran into Kate at the town square. Jennifer apologized for the way she treated her. She also told her how she knew about her sleeping with Jake. Jennifer said she knew she wasn’t with Jack. Kate let her know how she broke up with Jake. Jennifer wondered if Chad was the real reason why she wanted to keep their affair a secret. Kate said she always wanted to be powerful like Victor. She felt Jake didn’t understand that. She didn’t think he would understand because he was born into the DiMera family. Jennifer asked her if he embarrassed her.

Abby kept trying to get in touch with Chad. He was passed out in the bed. Gwen looked at the phone and said he was sleeping. She thought she wore him out. She thought he would be hung over and regretful. He woke up and realized what he did with Gwen. He blamed what happened on the alcohol. She told him he wouldn’t have been with her if Abby didn’t betray him. Chad realized Abby called and listened to her messages. Chad noticed how she sounded scared. Gwen wondered if he heard fear or was it the fact he was on to her. He felt he needed to confront Abby. He apologized for taking advantage of Gwen. She was fine with it because she knew what she was doing. Abby was mad that she couldn’t get in touch with Chad. She went by Jake’s room. She told him about Chad’s suspicions and how he didn’t come home. Jake admitted to her how he and Kate broke up. He said he enjoyed being with Kate. He believed Kate was slumming with him. She got her kicks slumming and he was perfect to her. Abby was about to leave his room when Chad showed up. He assumed the worst when he saw Jake was shirtless. Gwen was at the DiMera mansion and saw Jack looking through her things.
