Justin and Bonnie talk about how close they came to Xander finding out Sarah’s secret. Bonnie said it was hard to keep the secret. He said the best way to keep the secret is to stay quiet. Maggie walked in and wanted to know what they were talking about. They lied to her about what they were talking about, but she said she knew what they were keeping something from her. Bonnie asked if Rex told her. Maggie said she was confused because she thought they were talking about Justin being upset with her that Alex moved out. Justin said he wasn’t upset with her. He said he wasn’t avoiding her. Maggie said she was happy about that but she wanted to know what secret they were keeping that involved Rex. Bonnie said she found out Sarah was dating Rex again. She said Sarah swore her to secrecy. Maggie believed her and left. Bonnie called Sarah and told her to go along with the story. Sarah agreed to go along with it.

Stefan told Gabi about his truce with EJ. He also told her what happened with Dimitri and Kristen. She told him what she did with Li. Stefan was upset with her. He said he was sick of her putting herself in danger. He said it had to stop. They ended up arguing with each other. She eventually saw his point and agreed not to do it again. Stephanie told Chad she planned a romantic dinner for them. Alex showed up and asked if they were having trouble with their hot water. Chad was upset that Alex didn’t have a shirt on. Chad was also upset that he was interrupting them. Alex asked if he could use their shower. Stephanie said he could use it for five minutes. While Stephanie and Chad were about to eat, Alex came out of the room in Chad’s robe. Chad was upset, but he wanted him to leave. Alex asked if he could join them for dinner. When they finished eating, she told Alex to leave.

Steve and John broke in Jerry’s apartment. They noticed the window open. Jerry was gone. They searched Jerry’s apartment. They didn’t find any clues as to where he was. Steve called Jada. She agreed to help them check the airport and bus station. John and Steve talked about the information they had. They thought it didn’t make sense that Jerry would have kidnapped Abe and then reported seeing him go in the water without demanding a ransom. They knew they weren’t going to get the answers they wanted without finding Jerry. They heard a noise. Jerry’s printer was going off. They noticed that the printer was jammed. They fixed the printer. They saw that he printed out bus schedules. They went to the bus station before he left. Belle went to the police station to talk to Jada about Rachel. They talked about Shawn and how he felt guilty about Rafe getting fired. Jada said she felt guilty too. She said the department needed Rafe with everything going on. Rafe showed up at Paulina’s to escort Lani back to prison. Paulina told him Lani wasn’t there. Rafe and Paulina went to the park to look for Lani, but they didn’t find her. Paulina was getting upset and yelled at Rafe for being distracted by his relationship with Jada and not finding Abe. Paulina had a panic attack. Rafe took her to the hospital.

Whitley gave Kayla her two-week notice. Kayla tried to talk her out of quitting. Kayla asked her about saying she needed to put herself first. Whitley didn’t acknowledge Kayla’s question. She said she needed to leave Salem to look out for herself. Kayla asked her to go to her office to do her paperwork. Whitley told her she had to go home and pack. She said she would handle everything online. Kayla went to examine Paulina. Kalya told her she was fine. She said she had too much to handle at once. She told Paulina to rest and was going to check her numbers. When Kayla left, Paulina apologized to Rafe. He accepted her apology. They talked about Lani. They were both concerned about her.  The prison called Rafe, but he let it go to voicemail. He called them back and told them Lani was with him. He said he would have her back that night. When he got off the phone, he told Paulina that he bought them time but they had to find her quickly. Brady ripped up the custody agreement. He told Kristen to tell him where Rachel was. Kristen told him he wasn’t in charge. He pulled out a gun and said he was in charge. They started arguing. He had her pinned against a chair. Rachel came in and told him to leave her mother alone. He put the gun down and told Rachel to wait by the door. He told Kristen that she went too far. He said he was going to tell Rachel every horrible thing she has done. Rachel came back in the room and told him she didn’t want to go. He picked her up and carried her out. Kristen called Belle and wanted her to come over. When Belle showed up, Kristen asked her to talk to Brady because he would listen to her. Kristen said it was best for Rachel. Belle told her actions had consequences and refused to help her. Brady brought Rachel home. Someone knocked on the door. He told her to go to her room. He put John’s gun back. He opened the door. It was Jada. He was happy to see her. He said he was right about Kristen having Rachel. He asked her to arrest Kristen. Jada said she was there to arrest him. She asked if he pulled a gun out on Kristen. He was upset that Kristen called the police on him after kidnapping Rachel. Rachel came out and said she was the one who called the police. Lani talked to Abe and told him who she was. She tried to convince him Whitley wasn’t his wife. He was confused by the drugs and still had amnesia. When she was about to get him out, Whitley showed up. They ended up arguing. Lani told Whitley that she was Abe’s daughter. She said she was taking him home. She told Whitley that she was crazy and would be going to prison. When Lani turned his chair, Whitley stabbed her with a syringe.

Kayla and Kate talked at the pub. Kayla told her that Marlena broke through Harris’ brainwashing. Kate was happy about it. She told Kayla that she wanted Harris to take care of Megan so she would be out of their lives. Kayla said she agreed with what she wanted to do to Megan. Kate was surprised she felt that way. Kate asked her not to tell Roman what she did. Kayla said Kate should tell him the truth. She said Roman would understand. Chanel was setting up her display for Sweet Bits. A man named Clint showed up to introduce himself. He said he is the deputy mayor. He said he was acting mayor now that Abe has died. While Chanel and Clint were talking, he insulted her and Paulina. He warned Chanel that he would make sure she never had a business again if something else goes wrong. Wendy told Tripp and Johnny that she made her decision. She asked Tripp if he could leave her alone with Johnny so they could talk. When Tripp left, Johnny assumed she picked him. She said he still had feelings for Chanel. She said that was part of the reason why she chose Tripp. She said it wasn’t the only reason. He said he was over Chanel but Wendy didn’t believe him. She said she was sure of her choice.

Jada went to Steve and Kayla’s place to offer her condolences over Abe’s death. They talked until Tripp showed up. She left them alone so they could talk. Tripp told Steve that Wendy chose Johnny and he wasn’t happy about it. Steve told him to fight for her if he wanted to be with her. Tripp left so he could fight for Wendy. He was happy when she told him she chose him. Johnny ran into  Chanel. He told her Wendy chose Tripp. Harris told Marlena that he felt like he was a danger to others. He said he was sure he needed to be committed. She said she didn’t think he did. She said he could commit himself if that was what he wanted. He said he wanted her to do it because he couldn’t commit himself without approval. She tried to convince him that he wasn’t a bad person. She decided to do what he wanted. When she left to do the paperwork, Kate showed up. He told her what he decided to do. She apologized for her role in what happened to him. He said it wasn’t her fault. Shawn and Rafe got in an argument over Shawn getting suspended. Shawn told him about sleeping with Jada. Rafe asked if she told him. Shawn said she didn’t exactly tell him. He said he overheard her talking to Kate about it. Rafe told him about listening to people’s private conversation. While they were talking, Clint overheard them. He wanted to ask his own questions. Shawn tried to backpedal about what he said, but Clint didn’t believe him. When Jada showed up, Clint wanted to talk to her. Shawn tried to apologize for what happened, but Rafe told him it was too late. Rafe told him he was suspended and had to turn in his badge and gun. Shawn went to the hospital. He ran into Marlena and told her what happened to him. He asked her for help. When Clint was finished talked to Jada, he said she admitted to having an affair with Rafe. Rafe said he didn’t have the authority to fire Jada. Clint said he wasn’t going to fire her. He said he had the authority to appoint the commissioner. He told Rafe he was fired.

EJ and Kristen went to see Marlena. They told her they needed her help. Marlena was skeptical about what they wanted. They told her Megan kidnapped them and drugged them to erase their memories. They wanted her to help them so Megan could be punished for what she did. Marlena agreed to help them. She was able to get them to remember what happened. They remembered what Megan tried to erase. Kristen said she was going to the police station. EJ said he wanted to go to the hospital to confront Megan about what she did. Harris was handcuffed to a bed in the hospital. Kate came in to see him. She asked him what went wrong. She figured out that he was brainwashed again. She tried to convince him that he was brainwashed. She said he was a good man. She said he was under Megan’s mind control. He didn’t care what she had to say. He said he had to finish his mission. Later on, Marlena went to see him. He told her he needed her help.

Gwen was waiting in the lobby at the hospital while Dimitri was with Megan. Leo showed up to check on Gwen. He brought her a change of clothes. She said she already went home to change. He told her Dimitri was up to something with his mother. He said she shouldn’t trust Dimitri. She didn’t believe him. She wasn’t worried about his concerns. He said he was going to go back to the DiMera mansion to find evidence. He asked her not to accept Dimitri’s proposal until he was finished. EJ showed up at the hospital and saw Kate. They went to confront Megan. Gabi and Stefan confronted Li at the police station. Li said he was innocent and had nothing to do with what happened. He said he moved on from Gabi. He said Megan was behind the whole thing. Gabi told Stefan that she was going to confront Megan. He said he was going to confront Trask. When Kristen showed up at the police station and ran into Stefan. She told him what she remembered. Stefan told Li what Kristen remembered. Dimitri was by Megan’s side. She woke up. He was happy that she woke up. She realized she was handcuffed to the hospital bed. He said she was arrested for kidnapping EJ and Kristen. She said she had nothing to do with it. She said everything she did was to protect him. He told her about his progress with Gwen. Megan was happy that Gwen was there for him. She said she was happy that he would have his inheritance and a wife who loved him. Gwen showed up. Megan was happy to see her. Dimitri and Gwen went back to her room. She accepted his proposal. Leo was looking in a drawer at the DiMera mansion. Kristen showed up and asked what he was doing. When EJ and Kate went to see Megan, Megan was gone. Gabi was handcuffed to the bed.

Leo found EJ and Kristen in the wine cellar. They told him Megan kept them down there. They told him they didn’t remember why she had them down there. EJ said it was like the memory has been evaporated. Kristen said she thought Megan drugged them to make them forget. She was confused as to what Megan could have used. Leo asked if it had something to do with Dimitri marrying Gwen. Kristen said that sounded familiar but she couldn’t remember. EJ said he was sure it had to do with someone else. Kristen said Leo found them a while ago and didn’t untie them. She told him to untie them. Nicole talked to Eric about EJ not being there for her. She told him she was fine. She said he should leave. They hugged each other. She was about to kiss him when they pulled away from each other. He reminded her that they are seeing other people. She apologized to him. She said she felt an old pull. She said she was feeling abandoned. He told her things would be different if the baby was his. She said he would have been the perfect father. She said she didn’t know if she would be able to forgive EJ for abandoning her. EJ and Kristen came out of the wine cellar. Harris pulled a gun out at Stefan and Gabi’s engagement party. He said he was there to eliminate Stefan. Gabi confronted Harris, but Stefan stopped her. Stefan told Harris that he didn’t know him. Harris said he was following orders. Gabi said EJ hired him. Harris said it was Li.

Li showed up at the Bistro. He assumed Stefan was dead. He imagined being there to protect Gabi. Rafe showed up and assumed Li was trying to crash the party. Li said he was heartbroken over what happened with Gabi. Rafe understood how he felt, but he wanted Li to leave. Wendy said her brother would never hire someone to kill Stefan. Stefan said he did pull the plug on him when he was in a coma. Wendy said that was different. She said it was a split second mistake. Johnny reminded them that he tried to get them to reconsider going to the party. Chad realized Harris was brainwashed which Li did before. Harris told everyone to shut up. He said he had orders from Li to kill Stefan. He said it was about that time. Chad and Stephanie tried to change Harris’ mind. Gabi said if he shot Stefan he would have to shoot her too. She said she couldn’t live without Stefan. Harris said he didn’t have a choice. Rafe came in with his gun. He told Harris to put down his weapon. When Harris turned to look at Rafe, Gabi jumped on his back. When Harris turned around his gun went off. EJ kissed Nicole. She wondered when he got back. He said he never left. He said Megan tied him and Kristen up in the wine cellar. He said he couldn’t remember why. He said he didn’t know why Leo was in the tunnels to find them. Nicole said she thought EJ abandoned her and the baby. He said she and the baby meant everything to him. She told him the doctor thought she could carry the baby to term. Megan had blood coming through her dress. Dimitri caught her when she fell. Gabi kicked Harris. When Rafe strained Harris, he found out what was going on with Li. Gabi went to Li’s apartment. She told him Harris came to the party with a gun to kill Stefan. Li pretended to be sympathetic. Stefan told him not to bury him yet. Rafe showed up to arrest Li for attempted murder.

Kate texts Harris to find out what’s going on with Megan. Li had Harris’ phone and texted Kate. He told her that everything was going as scheduled. She wanted to have a drink with him, but he couldn’t make it. Chad and Stephanie showed up. They wanted to check on her before they went to Megan’s party for Gabi and Stefan. Kate was suspicious that Megan would be having an engagement party while she’s on a secret location with Harris. Eric tried to assure Nicole that she would be fine. She was afraid that she was miscarrying again. He tried to comfort her, but she didn’t deserve his kindness. She thought she was being punished for what she did to Jada. Eric told her that God wouldn’t do that to her. He assured her that God cares about and will help her. The doctor examined her and told her that everything was fine. Gwen was getting ready for the party and got into it with Leo. He kept telling her about Dimitri’s motives for proposing. She thought Dimitri was being sincere. She thought Leo was jealous because he’s still single. He was hurt by that, but he thought she might be right. He thought Dimitri was up to something and planned to search the DiMera mansion while everyone was at the party.

Rolf finished the procedure on Harris. He gave Megan a serum to inject into EJ and Kristen. The serum would make them forget about her confession about her plans for Stefan and kidnapping them. Harris woke up so Rolf gave him the instructions he needed for the night. He sent him on his way. Rolf assured Li that everything will go according to the plan. EJ and Kristen yell for help, but no one hears them. Kristen thought Megan was going to kill them. EJ didn’t think she would do that. He thought she would have done it by now. Megan went down to the cellar to inject Kristen and EJ with the serum. Megan left them in the cellar. Leo showed up at the mansion and found EJ and Kristen in the cellar. Their memories started to fade away from them after he arrived in the cellar. Kate tried to call Harris’ phone, but he didn’t answer it. She decided to go to the Bistro to find out what’s going on with him. She was upset when she saw Megan in the town square. She realized that Harris didn’t complete their mission. Everyone gathered for Stefan and Gabi’s engagement party. Megan arrived with a bottle of champagne. She gave a speech about the family when Harris arrived. He pulled out a gun.

Eric lets Nicole know that he came to see her to let her know about Abe. Nicole hadn’t heard what happened. Eric told her that Abe died. Nicole was upset to find out that Abe died. He was like a father to her. Eric comforted her as she tried to deal with the news. She was thankful that he came over, but she wasn’t happy to learn that it was Sloan’s idea. They talked about his plans to have a baby with Sloan. Nicole has a pain and Eric got worried. He wanted to find EJ, but she told him that he was out of town. She didn’t know where he was or when he would be back. He thought EJ abandoned her and the baby. Nicole said he didn’t do that. She had another pain so he took her to the hospital. Sloan went to see Colin at the station. She told him about Abe’s death. He was happy to hear it. She couldn’t believe that he said that. He’s happy about anything that will give pain to Paulina and Chanel. She admitted that she’s a hypocrite. She said she did something recently. He wanted to know what she means. She told him that she gave Nicole her DNA instead of Eric’s for the paternity test. Sloan told him that Nicole’s baby could still be Eric’s, but she wasn’t sure. She told Colin that she was going to make up for what she did by giving Eric a baby that will definitely be his.

Chloe and Xander talk about his conversation with Dimitri and his feelings for Gwen. He assured her that he only cared about Gwen because of everything they went through together. He didn’t have romantic feelings for her anymore. Xander assured her there was nothing to worry about. Chloe told him that she talked to Nicole. They kissed each other and things got heated between them. Xander wanted to know if she was ready to take their relationship to the next level. Chloe was ready and they made love. After they made love, they agreed that they didn’t regret it. They made love again. Leo called Dimitri out for his lame marriage proposal to Gwen. Dimitri agreed with him and got down on one knee and pulled out a ring. Gwen and Leo were shocked at the size of the ring. She didn’t know what to say. Leo doubted Dimitri’s sincerity so he tried to convince him that he wanted to marry Gwen. Leo finally agreed to give them his blessing. Gwen wasn’t sure about her decision yet. Sloan told Eric they could invite John and Marlena to dinner with them. He called Marlena and she told him about Abe. He was devastated by the news. He was worried for Nicole because she was close to Abe. He didn’t think she would take the news well. He wanted to tell Nicole himself and Sloan understood. After he left, she hoped that she was pregnant. She felt guilty about what she did to the paternity test. Nicole was frustrated because she couldn’t get in touch with EJ. Chloe arrived at the DiMera mansion so Nicole filled her in about her news. She started ranting about EJ disappearing. Chloe based him for leaving her. Nicole understood because she knew how important the business was to EJ. Chloe felt like Nicole should understand her feelings for Xander since she understood EJ’s behavior. Nicole wasn’t happy about it, but she understood. After Chloe left, Nicole tried to reach out to EJ again. She was upset when he didn’t answer the phone. She said she wanted the father of her baby to come in the room within the next few minutes. Eric walked in the room to see her.

Dimitri left a message for Megan about proposing to Gwen when Xander showed up. He overheard what Dimitri said about Gwen. He confronted him about it and told him that he owned the paper with Gwen. Xander demanded to know what Dimitri wanted with Gwen. Dimitri let him know that it wasn’t his business. He blasted Xander when he found out that he was Gwen’s ex. They threatened each other before Xander walked away. Gwen is working when Leo showed up with a floral arrangement that was at the desk for them. He thought the flowers were for him until he realized they were for her from Dimitri. They got into an argument about his intentions. He was upset when he found out that she was considering his proposal. He believed Dimitri had a motive for proposing to her. Gwen didn’t like the fact that Leo thought Dimitri couldn’t love her genuinely. He apologized to her, but he didn’t trust Dimitri. Dimitri showed up to surprise Gwen. He wanted to know if she made a decision about his proposal.

Kate wanted Jada to tell her what happened with Rafe. Jada hesitated, but she told her that she and Rafe made love. Kate was happy for her and wanted more details. She told her there wasn’t much to tell and they had to keep it a secret. Jada thanked Kate for encouraging her to pursue Rafe. She told Kate that Eli did the same thing with Rafe. Jada had to leave and asked Kate to keep her relationship a secret. Kate promised not to say anything. Kate reached out to Harris to find out about Megan. Jerry identified Abe as the man he saw go into the water. Eli jumped in the water, but couldn’t find Abe. Eli wanted answers from Jerry, but that’s all he had to tell them. Rafe wanted the divers to go in the water and look for Abe. They were unsuccessful. Jada arrived and Eli wanted to go to the hospital to test the blood sample he found. Rafe talked to Jada about their relationship. He assured her that their relationship didn’t have anything to do with what happened to Abe. They went to the station. Eli let them know that the sample was Abe’s. Eli wanted to tell Lani himself because he didn’t want her to hear it somewhere else. Rafe told Eli that he would tell Paulina and Theo. After his conversation with Eli, Jada comforted him.

Abe told Paulina that he wanted to go to the park. She didn’t think it was a good idea. He struggled to get up, but he was determined to go outside. Jerry came over and she asked him to talk Abe out of going outside. Jerry thought it was a great idea and offered to help him get ready. While Abe was getting dressed, Whitley went off on Jerry because he went against her. She felt like he was going to blow her plan. He planned on blowing it unless she gave him more money. She couldn’t give him more money. He couldn’t accept that. She reminded him that he committed the crimes. She said it was his word against her word. Paulina told him that he could end up in jail. He backed down and told Abe he couldn’t go out yet. Theo told Paulina that the police might have a lead on Abe. She didn’t want to get her hopes up, but he reminded her that Abe didn’t give up on him when he was shot. She was about to go to the station when Rafe and Jada were at her door. She wanted to know if they had news. She could tell something was wrong because of their faces. Rafe wanted to talk to her, but she didn’t want to hear it. She started to break down. Harris held Megan at gunpoint and told her, but he was taking her somewhere that she couldn’t hurt people anymore. She wanted to know who was making him do that. She guessed Kate was the one who talked him into doing it. Harris was about to drag her to a boat, but he was hit in the neck with a dart. Megan told him that it was a tranquilizer. She was on to him the entire time and lured him there. Li was the one with the tranquilizer gun. She was upset because he took so long. She wanted him to go back to the lab.

Megan and Li talked on the phone. She was happy when he said he was picking up Rolf. While she was talking about Stefan and the plan, Stefan walked in and wanted to know what she was talking about. She got off the phone and told him she was planning an engagement party. He asked if she knew where Kristen was. Megan said she went to New York to find a custody lawyer and wouldn’t be back in time for the party. When Megan left, he called Gabi. He told her they should invite Kristen to their engagement party. When he called Kristen, her phone was ringing. He found the phone in a drawer. Li met Rolf on the dock. He gave Rolf the supplies he needed. Kate and Harris met to talk about their plan for Megan. He said he wasn’t going to give up. He said he planted a tracking device on Megan’s car. He said he would corner her after she left the mansion. He got a notification that Megan was leaving. He left to confront her. He found her in the park and pulled a gun on her. Theo asked Eli why he was questioning Whitley. Eli told him Whitley left the hospital early the day Abe was missing. Theo said she might be involved. Eli said nothing pointed in her direction, but he was looking into it. While Whitley was in the interrogation room, she looked at Abe’s picture and said it was sad that he had to die. She said she didn’t have a choice.

Abe had a flashback of the wedding. He told Jerry that he wasn’t his son. Jerry said he was confused because of the amnesia. He said he was going to get Abe some water. When Jerry left, he sent Whitley a SOS text. When he gave Abe the water, he knocked it out of his hand. Abe wanted to know what was going on. Whitley told Eli she had to get back to her sick cat. When she left, Eli and Theo went over the background check Eli ran on Whitley. They didn’t find anything suspicious. When Whitley got home, Theo and Abe told her what was going on. She told Abe that he had another son. She said Brandon was his best man. She said Brandon didn’t approve of them. She said he and Brandon had a falling out. Abe apologized to Jerry for accusing him of not being his son. She offered to take Jerry back to the hotel. When they were in the hall, she told him she had something else for him to do. She told Abe that the hospital wanted to do more tests on him. She drew blood from him and gave the vial to Jerry. Rafe was shocked when he saw Talia in a towel. She invites him in. He told her about Talia’s plea deal. He kissed her after they hugged. He apologized for kissing her. He said he couldn’t help himself. She said if he didn’t do it, she would have. She said they should be together despite the rules. She kissed him. Her towel fell off. They made love. After they made love, they wanted a relationship. They agreed to keep their relationship separate from the job. Rafe left. Jada ran into Kate who told her she saw Rafe leave. Rafe, Eli and Jerry were on the dock. Jerry said he saw a man getting hit on the nail on a piling. Rafe and Eli saw fresh blood on the piling. They also saw Abe’s hospital bracelet next to it.

Brady and Alex toasted to their new partnership. Brady said he hoped they didn’t want to kill each other.  Brady apologized for what he said. He said he was always waiting for the other shoe to drop. While they were talking, Maggie came in. She accused Alex of blowing the Titan deal with Yuri as a middle finger on his way to Basic Black. Alex got offended by her accusation. He said Yuri didn’t want the deal because Titan was a dinosaur. They started arguing. She said she wondered what Victor would think. Alex said he would admire the initiative. Brady agreed with him and said Victor would be impressed. She said she would remember that. She warned them that she could slay with the best of them. Steve and Kayla spent time together. He said he thanked God that he got her back. He couldn’t believe how lucky he was. She said it was more than luck. She said he worked hard to find her. She said they always found their way back to each other. Chad and Stephanie spent time together. She said she knows her parents appreciated spending time alone together. She said they hadn’t had time to be alone since her mother has been back. She said it was time for her to start looking for her own place. He said they could look for a place together. He said he wanted to go to bed with her every night and wake up next to her. She said it was a good idea but she was worried about his kids. He said he would get the okay from their therapist before saying something to them about it. She said if the kids were happy about it, she would love to move in with him.

Xander talked to Chloe about his interaction with Bonnie. Chloe told him about how Bonnie and Mimi were when she and Mimi went to high school. He said he thought it had something to do with Sarah. He said she ran into Sarah. Chloe told him to give Bonnie a day. She said Bonnie would be freaking out about something else. They kissed each other and decided to go out to dinner. Justin told Bonnie he would keep Sarah’s pregnancy a secret. He said he didn’t feel good about it. He said he hoped it didn’t get too complicated when the truth came out. She said it might since Xander was seeing Chloe and living with her. She said she wondered if knowing about Sarah would make a difference. She said she made a promise and was going to keep it. While Steve and Kayla were eating, they agreed not to take each other or their future for granted. Brady ripped into Alex for not being forthcoming about Yuri. Alex said he didn’t think it would matter. He said he would call Yuri and back out of the deal. Brady said he loved Maggie, but business was business. Alex was glad he felt that way. Brady said this could be a long fight. He said Maggie wouldn’t take it lying down. Maggie went to the Horton house while Chad and Stephanie were kissing. She asked if Chad wanted to work for Titan. Bonnie called Sarah and left a message with her that she didn’t know how long she could keep her secret.

She apologized for what she said about Chanel when she was talking to Colin. She said she didn’t want to hurt her more than she did. Chad ran into Theo at the Town Square. Theo was looking at one of the missing flyers. Theo said Abe’s office wanted him to make the Juneteenth speech. He said he was scared to speak in public. Chad said he knew he would get through it with the support of his family. Theo said he didn’t want to let his father down. Chad said he would make his father proud. Eli went to see Julie and Doug. Eli said he had days off so he wanted to help find Abe. Talia told Chanel that seeing Marlena has helped her see that Colin was emotionally abusing her. Chanel sympathized with her. Talia said she never thought about being with a woman until Colin made her go after her. She said she felt something when they got closer. Chanel thanked her for saving her and Paulina from Colin. Paulina looked at a wedding picture of her and Abe. She told the picture happy anniversary. Olivia showed up. Paulina was glad to see her.

Abe asked Whitley about their anniversary. He said her daughter said they got married on Juneteenth. She said they did. He asked her to tell him about the wedding. Eli told Julie and Doug that Lani was going to be up for parole in six months. He said he hoped she would be home by Christmas. He said she was mentoring prisoners. He said she wouldn’t be a cop again when she got out, but she would be great at whatever she did. He and Julie decided to go to the Juneteenth celebration. Whitley told Abe when they got married, their daughter Lani confessed to murder. He wanted to know why he was hearing about it. She said Lani was in prison. She said he had a son, but he lived out of the country. Abe asked why he hasn’t called. He remembered something. She told him not to push himself, Someone knocked on the door. Whitley opened the door. It was Talia. She had a missing person flyer with Abe’s picture. She said she was there because her sister was a cop. She said her sister had the address written down so she decided to check there. Whitley said she already told the police she didn’t see anything, Abe had a memory of his wedding day. When Whitley showed up, he said she wasn’t his wife.

John and Steve were looking through maps to find Abe when Paulina showed up. The police gave them the evidence they had, but there was nothing to help them. They feel like they might be able to find something to help. They talked about Nurse Whitley. John wasn’t sure Paulina got everything she could out of her. She felt better knowing that Abe’s friends were looking for him. She hated the waiting.  Steve and John reminded her that they knew how she felt when they lost Marlena and Kayla. They tried to reassure her that they will find Abe. She snapped them until they calmed her down. She was afraid that Abe could be dead. Abe realized that he was the mayor of Salem. He had to wait for Whitley to come back to get some answers. Whitley showed up and he wanted to talk to her. He told her that she lied to him. He wanted to know what else she lied to him about. She wanted to know if he got his memory back. He told her about the press conference. She lied to him about his reign being short because EJ had him impeached. She told him that he decided to open up an ice cream shop. He wanted to know why he would be impeached. She had to come up with excuses for why he was impeached. He felt like things didn’t happen that way. He wanted to know if he ever tried to get back into politics. She told him that he didn’t want to do it again.

Li was determined to take Stefan down by any means necessary. Wendy overheard his conversation so she confronted him about it. He didn’t want to tell her about his plans. He lied to her and told her that he hired a matchmaker. Stefan and Gabi talked about how crazy Megan is. They thought EJ and Kristen had limits, but she didn’t. She wished he had a normal family, but she did like the fact that they had money. He was ready to be done with the drama of his family for the time being. They made love. EJ told Megan that he heard her talk about taking their brother down. He thought he was the one she was talking about so he was going to call the police. He decided to handle it the DiMera way. He wanted her to get out of the mansion. He reminded her that the mansion isn’t Stefano’s anymore and he wanted her out. She didn’t want to leave. She explained to him that she wasn’t trying to kill him. She told him that she wanted Stefan and Gabi gone. She felt like she would get more of the DiMera fortune. They continued to talk about the family fortune. She told him about the plan for them to be the only ones to get the fortune. He wasn’t interested and decided to warn Stefan. She stopped him by hitting him in the head with a vase.

Rafe and Jada talk about Abe’s disappearance. Rafe believed that someone must have seen Colin take Abe out of the hospital. Jada wondered if Whitley King might have seen something. She thought she would have seen something since she was the floor nurse the night Abe was abducted. Rafe called for Whitley’s contact info. Abe let Whitley know that her place didn’t feel like home to him. She told him that their daughter showed him their wedding photo. She tried to give him a stuffed animal, but he didn’t want it. She assured him that things would seem normal again in time. Julie went to visit Paulina at the hospital. Paulina blamed herself for what happened to Abe. Julie told her that she was a blessing to the people in her life. Paulina found out that Talia was out on bail and she was upset about it. She was worried about Abe. Colin grabbed Talia from behind. He ordered her not to scream. He took his hand off of her mouth and he yelled at her for betraying him. She told him that she only stopped him from killing Chanel and Paulina so he wouldn’t spend life in prison. She wanted to know why he was still in Salem. He refused to leave without the woman he loved. Whitley went to the kitchen to make something to eat. Abe turned on the TV and he saw the story about Colin. Whitley turned off the TV. She didn’t think he should hear about his attacker. Abe didn’t agree with that. Whitley got a call from an unknown number so she ignored it. She took the remote on her way back to the kitchen.

Rafe got Whitley’s voicemail. Jada wanted to see Whitley in person. Colin couldn’t imagine life without Talia. He pulled her arm so she could go with him, but she didn’t go. She wanted to know what he did with Abe. Chanel knocked on the door and called out to Talia. Colin grabbed for his gun. Talia convinced Colin to let her talk to Chanel.  He hid while she opened the door. Chanel walked in and started yelling at Talia. Talia blamed her for seducing a married man and killing his wife. Colin smirked while he was in the bathroom. Chanel asked her about Abe. She told her that she didn’t know where she was. Talia told her that she only stopped Colin from killing her so he wouldn’t go to prison. She pushed Chanel out of the door. She slipped Chanel the police badge and mouthed for her to help her. Chanel went downstairs and told Johnny that Colin was upstairs. Johnny called Rafe. Rafe and Jada raced out the door. Talia kissed Colin. She thought they should leave. He turned for the door and noticed the badge was missing. He grabbed her and thought she gave the badge to Chanel. Whitley wanted to fix the bed for her and Abe. Abe didn’t feel comfortable sharing a bed with her when he didn’t remember her. She was willing to set up the sofa bed. She said they had their entire lives to snuggle with each other. Abe feigned a smile. Rafe and Jada heard Talia screaming as they approached the door. Colin grabbed Talia as Rafe kicked the door open. Rafe and Jada had their guns on Colin. Colin let Talia go and released his gun. Rafe arrested Colin. Jada held Talia.

Megan was happy to see Dimitri at the DiMera mansion and home where he belonged. Kristen wasn’t happy about him being there. She rehashed what happened with the Peacock caper. Megan wanted her to let it go since they were going to be married. Dimitri and Kristen were surprised by her announcement. Kayla approached Nicole, Eric and EJ about the paternity test results. NIcole wanted them to go somewhere private, but Kayla was dealing with Abe’s disappearance. Nicole was shocked by the news. Eric wanted to know if Nicole was okay. EJ stepped up and assured her that DiMera security would help with the search. Kayla handed Nicole the results and left to meet with the head of the hospital. Sloan was upset about what happened with Colin. Jada showed up at her place with a warrant. The women start arguing. Sloan told her to go on with the search. She was dealing with enough since Nicole was pregnant. Jada was shocked. Sloan told her that Eric might have got Nicole pregnant. She blamed Talia for drugging the biscuits. Sloan thought she brought up bad memories for her since she would still be with Eric if she didn’t get an abortion. She thought he would get to be a father after all. She let Jada know that Colin was talking to Leo. She told her to talk to him about it.

Nicole read the results with her back to EJ and Eric. She turned to them and told Eric that he wasn’t a match. EJ became excited. He had a feeling that he would be the father. He thought it was a miracle. Eric congratulated them. EJ knew it was hard for him, but it was best for everyone. Eric walked to the elevator as EJ held Nicole. EJ said that it changed everything. Nicole’s face fell as she agreed with him. Megan reminded Kristen and Dimitri that they weren’t blood related and that Stefano groomed Tony and Kristen to be together. Kristen and Dimitri passed on the idea. Megan reminded him that he was going to inherit the Von Leuschner fortune, but he had to be married by the time he turned 40. She told him that he was 39. He wanted to know how much money was involved. She said it was more than enough for her and Kristen to take over the world. She thought Dimitri would agree to go through with the plan. Eric went to Sloan’s place. He told her that he wasn’t the father of Nicole’s baby. Sloan admitted that she was hoping that was the outcome. She knew he was hurting about it. Eric said it wasn’t the right time. He assumed it was for the best. EJ wondered if they should tell everyone the news or keep it quiet. Nicole wasn’t sure if she would carry the baby to term. He wanted her to get the best care possible. Dimitri decided not to marry Kristen. Kristen agreed with him. She didn’t think she could win her custody case if she were married to her nephew. Megan said they would have to find someone else to marry him. Gwen showed up there looking for him. Sloan told Eric that she hated seeing him in pain. He was happy to be there with her and he was looking forward to their future together. Sloan flashed back to taking the DNA sample. She watched Eric sleep. She couldn’t risk losing him. She wanted the test to come back negative. She swabbed her own cheek instead of Eric’s.

Tony was about to make an announcement to EJ. Anna thought about telling Tony about Nicole’s pregnancy. She blurted out that she couldn’t let Tony finish. She said that he was drunk. She couldn’t let him say anything that he would regret later. The family wanted to hear what Tony was going to say. Tony looked at Anna and decided to tell EJ that he was proud of the job he did at the company. He told Kristen and Megan that they should support EJ. Anna took him with her so they could talk in private. Eric saw Nicole and Sloan at the hospital and wanted to know what was in the box Nicole was holding. Sloan told him that it was a medical test kit. Nicole lied about a virus and said everyone had to test negative before they could visit patients. Nicole told him that she let Sloan use hers so she could visit her brother. Sloan advised Eric to take the test so he could visit Abe. Tony let Anna know that he wasn’t going to tell Nicole’s secret. He wanted to support EJ. Anna apologized for doubting him. He felt like EJ had a right to know the truth. EJ wanted to know what he had a right to know. Tony lied and said Anna was worried about his feud with Stefan. EJ thanked him for always having his back. Stefan and Gabi tried to get Megan and Kristen to take their side. Megan wanted to know what they could do for her. Stefan would welcome her into the family. He said EJ wouldn’t do that for her. EJ walked in the room and said that wasn’t true. EJ was willing to give her the master suite. Kristen reminded him that she was locked up too. EJ told her that Megan had seniority. Kristen didn’t want to accept his offer since he stabbed her in the back.

Eric didn’t want to take the test. He wanted Sloan to use it so she could see her brother. He said he would meet her at home. Nicole and Sloan went back and forth about their plan not working. They argued over the fact that Eric could be the father of her baby. Sloan hoped that he wasn’t the father. Tony didn’t like lying to EJ. Anna felt like they had to be careful about anyone overhearing them talk about the pregnancy. Nicole walked in and thought EJ knew about the pregnancy. Anna assured her that EJ didn’t know the truth. Nicole promised to reveal the truth once she got the results from the paternity test. She wanted to know how she could swab EJ’s cheek without him knowing about it. Anna gave her sleeping pills to use on him. Nicole saw Megan and Kristen at the mansion. She was surprised to see Kristen out of prison. She went to EJ and wanted to know why he was letting his sisters live there. He told her that he was doing it for the votes. He didn’t think he was doing a great job getting their votes. Nicole suggested he take a pill to help him go to sleep. EJ was about to take the pill when he got a phone call. He had to leave. Nicole was frustrated that her plan didn’t work. Eric and Sloan were in bed. He was asleep so Sloan took out the swab. She leaned toward him. She called Nicole and told her that she had the sample in her hands. Nicole was relieved because she would find out the truth soon enough.

Kristen wanted to know how Dimitri would get them out of prison when he’s in jail himself. Megan assured her that her son was a brilliant man. She said he was making negotiations as they spoke. Kristen wondered if Dimitri was really her son. Megan said she gave birth to him and raised him to be the man he is today. Steve and Harris went to see Dimitri. They demanded to know where Andrew was. Dimitri wanted his demands met first. They wanted to know why Megan was included in his deal. He informed them that she is his mother. A goon threw water on Andrew to wake him up. He remembered getting a call that Paul had been kidnapped.He was told not to tell anyone about the kidnapping. He was told to go to the storage room. He was grabbed from behind by someone carrying a knife. Andrew struggled to get out of his restraints when the goon left the room. Marlena was about to text John when Roman and Kate showed up at her place. She hugged Kate. They caught up with each other. Marlena told them that Dimitri took Andrew. Kristen wondered who Dimitri’s father was since she only had feelings for Bo. She explained how she met Dimitri’s father. Stefano wanted her to lay low after she was unfrozen. She met his father after she got out of the chamber. They hit it off when they first got together. She said that Dimitri’s father didn’t like the way she was raising him and wanted to send him to boarding school.

Steve believed that Dimitri told the truth about Megan because he’s a ruthless person. Dimitri didn’t care about their insults. He wanted to know if his demands were being met. Andrew pretended to be asleep when a goon came in the room. Andrew overpowered him and tried to escape. He was faced with a gun so he sat back down. Megan told Kristen that Dimitri’s father was a means to an end. She was in love with Bo. She planned to wait around until she found out how Bo was doing. She has her own agenda in Salem. Kristen said they had similar ideas for Salem and reminded her that she was supposed to help her get out of prison. Steve talks on the phone with Shane. He called in every favor to get Dimitri released from jail. After Steve got off the phone, he was approached by Sebastian Alamain. He told Steve that he was going to take him back to Alamania for what he did with the Alamanian Peacock. He said he would rot in prison for the rest of his life. He produced a paper that said he could do it. Steve told him that a good man would lose his life if he took Dimitri. He wanted Sebastian to do the right thing and help Andrew. Kristen reminded Megan that she was the reason she was in prison. She was going to give the women the orchid. She told Megan that she ordered Bo to steal the orchid. She also told her that she would need her on her side when she tried to claim her birthright. She promised to help Kristen, but she couldn’t mess up Dimitri’s plans. Kristen warned her that she would have an enemy if she kept her in prison. Steve went to see Dimitri again. Megan called Steve. Dimitri wanted to talk to Megan. He let Steve know that one more name had to be added to the deal. He wanted to add Kristen as part of the deal.

EJ was upset about the idea of Stefan and Gabi getting engaged. He decided to propose to Nicole. She didn’t know what to say to him. She just wanted the proposal to be simple and sincere. He tried to propose again, but she turned him down. She thought he was being an opportunist and didn’t really want to marry her. He was shocked that she was angry. She told him that he only wanted to marry her because Stefan proposed to Gabi. He tried to downplay what he did, but he admitted that his timing was off. He admitted that he loved her. They were both shocked by what he said. He wasn’t sure when he loved her again. He realized the last few months were the happiest of his life. Nicole finally admitted that she loved him too. She was about to tell him something when he assumed Eric was the problem. She assured him that the problem wasn’t Eric. EJ was upset about their drunk sex together. She insists the timing is off, but he’s not sure what she means. Trask was about to rip into Eric when he told her that Sloan was arrested. Jada asked Sloan about Colin. She told her that she should have come forward about Collin sooner. Sloan believed that he wasn’t dangerous. She said that he was dangerous enough since he had her sister doing terrible things. Sloan demanded to know how their siblings knew each other. She also wanted to know what Jada thought she had on Colin.

Sloan didn’t think Jada could be objective since her sister was involved with her brother. Jada gets a call from Jada so she ran out of the office. Trask and Eric wanted to talk to Sloan. Sloan told Eric and Trask that the police thought Colin drugged the biscuits. She insisted that she didn’t have anything to do with her brother’s plan. She let them know that Talia was knee deep in the mess. Sloan said arresting her while the real culprit was out there was a bad look for the department. Trask agreed to drop the charges. Trask had a phone call and told Sloan what Collin was up to and thought it was time for her to leave her vendetta alone. Jada arrived at the hotel. She told Jada that she knew what was going on with Colin. She said their father would be ashamed of her. Talia wanted her to save Paulina. She believed that Colin took her. Jada wanted to know how she got hooked up with Colin. Rafe calls an ambulance for Abe. Abe told Rafe the health inspector took Paulina. Abe told Rafe about Colin. Later at the hospital, Rafe ordered his cops to find Colin as soon as possible. Abe told Rafe to find his wife. He ended up coding. Abe needed to get into the ER. Abe began hemorrhaging. He needed surgery so the doctors needed consent. Rafe called Theo to tell him about his father. Rafe let Theo talk to the doctor. Paulina was on the roof and told Chanel to do what Colin wanted. He was happy that Chanel showed up. He went on about his mother and told her to say goodbye to her mother. He wanted her to end her life. She was willing to do what he wanted. He insulted her and started ranting again. Paulina wanted him to name his price. He wanted his parents back. Paulina refused to jump. He said he would shoot Chanel instead. Chanel tried to plead with him to understand how his father was, but he didn’t want to listen to her. Colin decided to kill both of them when Jada and Talia burst on the roof with guns. Paulina had a panic attack while Colin had a gun pointed at her. Everyone tended to Paulina so he grabbed Chanel. Talia tried to lunge at Colin and they both went over the roof.

Jada pounded on Colin’s door, and Rafe answered it. He let her know that he was there to warn him to stay away from Talia, but he checked out. Rafe found out that he paid in cash. They realized that Colin was a criminal. Rafe spotted a razor and took it out of the garbage to run his prints. Talia warned Colin that they were going to get caught at the new hotel. He ignored Sloan’s call. He told her that his sister already saw him. He told Talia that Sloan threatened to go to the police if he didn’t leave town. He considered leaving, but he couldn’t do it when she was making progress with Chanel. Talia felt they should leave before they get caught. Colin didn’t want to go when she was close to breaking Chanel’s heart. She didn’t want to let him down, but she didn’t want to do it anymore. Nicole was panicking over her baby news. Anna thought she wanted the baby to be Eric’s. Nicole didn’t want to think about her preference. She’s worried that she will lose the baby. Anna assured her that science has changed since the last time she was pregnant. She told her that she should talk to her doctor about prenatal vitamins. She assured Nicole that the guys will be happy with her news. Nicole was grateful to Anna for making her feel better.

Trask went to Abe’s place demanding that he fire Rafe. She needed a police commissioner who could get things done and break rules when necessary. Abe wondered if she had someone in mind for Rafe’s position. She said she wanted Paulina to be the commissioner. Colin was upset with Talia for wanting to end the plan. She felt bad since she got to know Chanel and Paulina. He thought she knew how important it was for him to get revenge on them for his parents deaths. She didn’t want him to be mad at her, but he pulled away from her. He tried to flatter her to get her to stick with the plan. Abe told Trask that he believed in Rafe. Trask warned him that his attitude will cost him the next election. Rafe and Jada went to the station to run Colin’s prints. They turned up empty. Rafe remembered that he wasn’t from America. They checked his prints with Scotland Yard and there was a match. Nicole was at the hospital with a white bag. Nicole bumped into Sloan and a pill bottle fell out of the bag. Sloan picked up the bottle. She read the label on the bottle. She asked her about the prenatal vitamins.

Kayla and Belle talked about Seth firing her while she was being held captive. They talked about Greece and Belle mentioned being worried about Shawn feeling guilty for shooting Bo. Kayla assured him that Hope and Roman were there for him. Roman found Shawn throwing things at the hospital. Shawn told Roman that Victor was right. Everything that happened was his fault. Roman was upset that Victor blamed him. Shawn said he told the truth. Roman understood that he made a choice to protect someone he loved. Bo would have done the same thing. Shawn left to see Bo. Someone held a gun on Steve on the boat. Another henchman held a gun on Harris. Harris overpowered him and beat him. Steve warned the henchman about what the ISA would do to him once he’s caught. The henchman wanted to take his chances and pointed his gun at Steve again. Chad burst in Dimitri’s office with his gun in his hand. Dimitri grabbed Kate and pointed his gun at her. Chad and Dimitri went back and forth until Chad put down his gun. Dimitri was ready to shoot Kate. They heard a gunshot so Chad told him that he was with ISA agents. Dimitri knew they were coming which is why the henchmen were instructed to shoot to kill. Steve’s henchman went down. He noticed that Harris shot him. Steve yelled at him for alerting everyone that they were on the boat. Harris reminded him that he just saved his life. Steve thanked him before they left.

Steve and Harris burst into Dimitri’s cabin. Kate kicked Dimitri and ran to Chad. Steve and Harris subdued Dimitri and tied him to a chair. Harris volunteered to stay with Dimitri and told them to go to the mainland. Kate let them know that she couldn’t leave without her ring. She said one of the henchmen took it. Steve knew which one it was. He led her to the goon that Harris knocked out. The guy was gone. He showed up with a gun. Belle talked to Kayla about feeling helpless as far as Shawn was concerned. Kayla felt like Shawn needed time to heal. She believed Shawn would open up to her when he felt better.  He’ll know she’s thinking of him. Steve and Kate arrived at the hospital. Kate ran into Roman’s arms. She was terrified that she would lose him again. She didn’t have to worry because he wouldn’t let her out of his sight again. Belle tried to call Shawn. He sat in the hotel lobby. He was drinking. He saw his phone buzzing and slammed it down. Belle left a message for him. She wanted him to call her. Dimitri taunted Harris in his cabin. He thought it was funny that he was trying to redeem himself. He knew that he would be thrown in a blacksite without Kate as his hostage. He lost his leverage. Dimitri admitted that Kate wasn’t his only hostage.

She thought he knew about it. She said she didn’t tell him out of spite. Eric knew she didn’t do it out of spite. She knew he’d never cheat on her. Paulina read Colin’s anonymous text. She demanded that Rafe arrest Sloan. Rafe reminded her that he didn’t have enough evidence it was her. He said the text came from a blocked number. Paulina got worked up about it so Rafe wanted her to calm down. He called Sloan for questioning. Colin opened the door to Jada. She showed her badge and questioned him about Talia. He denied knowing Talia. She told him that Xander and Chloe saw her there. He told her what his name is. She wanted to see his ID. He thought her visit was more personal than professional. She admitted that it was personal. She was talking about her sister. He understood because he wouldn’t allow anyone to go after his family. She asked him about knowing Talia. He tried to close the door on her, but she refused to go until she found out about her sister.

Anna went to see Nicole. Nicole told her that EJ found out that she slept with Eric. She told her that she had another secret. She admitted that she’s pregnant and didn’t know who the father was. Nicole wanted to be happy, but she didn’t know if she could carry the baby to term. Anna wanted to know who she hoped the father would be. She didn’t know. She just wanted a healthy baby. Nicole begged Anna to keep her secret. She told her that her secret was safe with her. Sloan arrived at the police station. Rafe wanted to know if Sloan sent a text to Paulina. Sloan denied sending threatening messages to Paulina and drugging the biscuits. She warned Paulina to watch her back since she’s not the other person out there that wants to get revenge on her. She stormed out of the room. Paulina told Rafe that what Sloan said was similar to the texts. He reminded her that wasn’t evidence. Paulina yelled at him for not being harder on Sloan. Paulina passed Jada on her way out of the station. Rafe and Jada talked about Colin Firth. Sloan overheard them talking about him. She heard Jada say what room Colin was staying in. Later, Sloan went to Colin’s room. He was surprised to see her. Anna met with Tony and EJ. She admitted that she knew about Nicole and Eric. She apologized for keeping the secret from EJ. He said everything was good now since things are in the open. Nicole left a message for Kayla. She needs to know who the father of her baby as soon as possible. She turned around and saw Eric.

Marlena noticed that Eric had a black eye. He told him about the fight he got into with EJ because he slept with Nicole. Marlena thought that it meant more than he was telling her. He blamed it on the drugs. Marlena researched the drugs and said that it wouldn’t cause an increase in libido. She wanted to take him to the E.R. for stitches. EJ was upset about the way Gabi was acting about Nicole being in the hospital. He grabbed her arm as she was about to leave, but Stefan walked in the room. He demanded that EJ take his hands off of her. Gabi noticed EJ’s red knuckles. EJ said it was an accident and left for the hospital. Gabi hoped that Nicole was seriously sick. Kayla reminded Nicole that the pill isn’t completely effective. She advised her to go to her OBGYN since she’s had trouble carrying to term. She said the pregnancy is dangerous and she doesn’t know who the father is. Kate recognized her captor. She knew him based on his reputation. He introduced himself as Dimitri von Leuschner. She realized that he was Carly and Frankie’s cousin. She remembered that he posed as an ISA agent named Kyle Graham. He thought Billie told her about him. He told her everything that happened. Kate wondered why he wasn’t in jail. He didn’t tell her.

EJ went to Nicole’s exam room. Kayla left the room. Nicole lied to EJ and told him that she ate something that didn’t agree with her. EJ found it hard to believe that she rushed to the hospital for a stomach ache. She wanted to know if he was accusing her of lying. He said it was possible since she lied about sleeping with Eric. Nicole tried to deny it, but he knew everything. He admitted that he took his anger out on Eric. He said he went home to confront her about it. His anger disappeared when he found out she was in the hospital. He wanted to know if she was okay. She assured him that she was fine. Dimitri told Kate that she’s valuable as a hostage. She told him to call Roman or Chad to get the ransom money. He wasn’t ready to make demands yet. He told her that her being there was part of a bigger plan. He wanted to dance with her, but she pulled a knife on him. Kayla hid a file under her arm as Eric and Marlena came off the elevator. He was happy to see Kayla. Marlena was happy to see her too. She hugged her and the file fell on the floor. Eric was about to pick up the file when Kayla told him to leave it. She called someone to do Eric’s stitches. Eric ran into EJ at the hospital. He told Eric that he and Nicole worked things out. He wanted to pretend her one-night stand with him didn’t happen. Kayla went back to Nicole’s exam room. Nicole wanted to know how long it would be before she found out the father of her baby. Kayla thought they should do a blood test in a few weeks. She said they will need a DNA sample from one of the possible fathers. She said that no one could know about her pregnancy until she found out who the father is.

EJ wasn’t happy to see Gabi and Stefan making out on the couch. Gabi told him that she evaluated the employees. They didn’t want to work with him. He accused her of lying. She continued to list his faults. EJ didn’t think anyone would care what she thought about him. Stefan told him the board would care about it. EJ reminded him that Nicole was evaluating him too. He said she was going to report it to him. He walked out of the room. Nicole saw Eric and Sloan together. She rolled her eyes when she saw them kissing each other. After Sloan left, Nicole approached Eric. She thought they weren’t a couple. Eric told her they made up. She badmouthed Sloan and told him to make sure that Sloan doesn’t tell EJ that they slept together. Chanel talked to Paulina about Talia. Paulina was surprised that Talia was going out with her because she thought she was straight. Chanel thought she was too until she kissed her. Paulina wondered if she was ready to start dating after what happened with Allie. She missed Allie, but she was ready to move on with her life. She promised to take things slow with Talia. Paulina warned her that people aren’t who they seem to be. Colin told Talia that Chanel wouldn’t be able to resist her. She didn’t think she could go through with the plan. He tried to convince her to finish what they started. Jada was upset that Talia had a key made near the Square. Rafe followed her and reminded her that they didn’t have proof that Talia was responsible for the attacks against Paulina and Chanel. Jada was convinced that her sister was guilty. She could go to prison. Rafe reminded her that she didn’t have a motive so the culprit could be anyone. He took her hand and assured her they would figure it out.

Talia walked in the room so Rafe and Jada took their hands apart. Jada asked Talia if she attacked Paulina’s office. Rafe tried to stop her, but she kept talking to Talia about it. Talia was offended by what Jada said. She said that she had the key made that day. Jada wanted to know why she didn’t say anything about it before. Jada told her that she has been forgetting a lot of things lately. Jada followed her to test the key. Colin saw Sloan with a client. The client wasn’t sure if she should be represented by Sloan since she was in trouble. Colin looked at his phone and saw Talia’s text. Later, Talia met with Colin at the Bistro. She told him about her conversation with Jada. He believed that she could handle it. She was worried that Chanel would catch on that she’s not into women. Chanel walked in the Bistro. Sloan walked into EJ at the pub. She introduced herself to him, but he remembered meeting her before. She remembered how painful their meeting was, but it wasn’t as painful as catching Eric and Nicole in bed together. EJ was devastated by her admission. She apologized because she thought he knew about it. She said it was the drugged biscuits. She told him that it didn’t mean anything. Jada asked Rafe what he thought about Talia’s story. He thought it was strange, but they didn’t have a motive for her being the one who did it. He wanted to know why she would attack Paulina and Chanel.

Alex talked to Maggie about focusing on Titan. Victor called her to let her know that Bo was alive. He was going to Greece to be with Bo. Alex was surprised that Victor was going to Greece to be with his son. Alex thought she should go with him. He would take care of the business. Maggie wasn’t sure she should do that considering what happened the last time he was in charge of the business. Alex admitted he made mistakes in the past. He said his family was more important. Maggie agreed to go, but she warned him that it was his last chance. Leo tried to console Gwen. She was upset that Xander and Chloe were moving in together. He wanted to make her feel better so he wanted to order some food, but she reminded him they were spending too much money. She told him about the deep connection she felt with Xander. He told her that he never felt that way before. She hopes he gets it one day. Brady tried to stop Chloe from moving in with Xander. She told him that she’s lonely and he would be good company. She said it was her mistake to make. She knew it affected Brady too. She said she loved him, but it wasn’t enough. She said they were finished. She said they were done ever since Rachel started hating her. She doesn’t blame him for putting Rachel first. She knew it was Kristen’s fault. She felt responsible for Rachel’s attitude. She didn’t want to continue like that. Brady understood, but he wanted to know if they were really over. She started crying and told him that she would always love him. He said he would always love her too.

Xander wanted to know why Colin was trying to get into the bakery room. Colin says Xander had the wrong room, but he was sure he saw Talia there. Colin argued with Xander before he went to his room. Chanel pulled away from Talia’s kiss. She didn’t know Talia was into girls. She said she only dated guys before, but she felt a strong connection between them. She thought it felt right to kiss Chanel. Chanel thought it felt right too. She wondered if Chanel was over Allie. Chanel thought it was time to move on. She kissed Talia. Talia flashed back to her conversation with Colin. Talia backed away from Chanel. She wanted to know what was wrong. Talia reminded her that she was her boss. Chanel said there was nothing keeping her from going out with her. She said that Talia might not have a job anymore if she lost the store. Colin texted Talia to find out how things were going. Talia told Chanel that it was a spam text and they could go out to eat. Jada told Rafe that Talia had the same opportunity Sloan did to get Paulina’s keys. Rafe told her that Talia didn’t have a motive for what she did to Paulina and Chanel. He said someone would have more time to copy the keys before Paulina saw them. Jada told him there was a hardware store in the square. Talia went to see Colin. He told her what he wanted her to do. Rafe and Jada talked to an older man about seeing Sloan at the hardware store. They showed him Sloan’s picture and he didn’t recognize her. Jada showed him Talia’s picture. He remembered her because she was in a rush.

Belle went to see EJ. She couldn’t believe his emergency was about getting Gabi out of DiMera Enterprises. She reminded him about what Shawn was going through. EJ wanted to know what happened. She told him that Shawn accidentally shot Bo. He said that it sounded like Shawn screwed up. Belle punched him and called him an insensitive jerk. She was about to leave when he stopped her. He apologized for what he said. He offered to send her out to be with Shawn. She thought that it was a generous offer, but she had a trial. He said the offer was still there if she wanted it. He said he would handle Gabi. Harris turned his hotel key back in and ran into Shawn. He wanted to know if there was a change in Bo’s condition. Shawn told him the doctor wasn’t sure when he will come out of his coma. Harris apologized, but Shawn blamed himself for what happened. Harris said his actions led to what happened to Bo. Shawn agreed that some of what happened was his fault, but he was the one who shot his father. Harris thought he should pay for keeping Hope in the dark about Bo. Shawn told him that what he did wasn’t illegal so he didn’t commit a crime. Harris said he paid for it by losing Hope. Shawn wondered what he expected. He asked Harris if he expected him to feel sorry for him. Harris knew he had to live with what he did for the rest of his life. Shawn left to take a shower.

Kayla left to tell Hope that Kate was still alive. Steve and Andrew assured Roman they would help him find Kate. They realized she took a boat to get to one of the islands. They thought it was strange that she didn’t reach out to anyone once she arrived on land. Andrew thought the sea might have overpowered her, but Roman believed Kate was alive. Andrew let to get help. Kate wondered why she was on the fish boat. A man approached her and she thanked him for saving her. She asked him for a phone. He wanted to know how much she would pay for it. She reminded him that she didn’t have any money at the time. She said she would pay him when she got home. He motioned to her ring. Kate made the trade. He told her that she was only allowed to make a call. She made her call, but no one answered. She wanted to try again, but the man said she was only allowed one phone call. He told her to go back to work. Belle called Shawn. He told her about Bo squeezing his mother’s hand. He said he wasn’t expected to wake up any time soon. She told him not to give up. He wasn’t going to give up, but things were hard for him. Kayla found Chad and told him that Bo didn’t kill Kate. She told him that Kate was alive. Chad was excited and wanted to see her. They went inside to get more information from Steve and Roman. Andrew met Harris in the hotel lobby. Andrew said he needed his help finding Kate. Harris wanted to know why he needed his help. Andrew asked him if he wanted a chance to redeem himself.
