Portia and Finn try to resuscitate Rory, but they are unable to save him and Trina is devastated by his death. Trina goes to the hospital chapel and wonders why God took a good man who only wanted to help people. Trina tells Josslyn that if she had told Rory that she loved him maybe he wouldn’t have gone out on the call that cost him his life.
Josslyn tells Trina that none of this is her fault and that she couldn’t tell Rory she loved him because she wasn’t ready to say those words to him.

Elizabeth finds an earring in Rory’s pocket that doesn’t belong to Trina and Jordan thinks the earing belongs to the hook attacker.

Ava asks Victor to persuade Nikolas to give her more money in her divorce settlement or she will give the video of Nikolas confessing to being responsible for Esme’s disappearance to the police.

Cameron asks Josslyn what she wanted to talk to him about before they came to the hospital. Josslyn tells Cameron that isn’t important now because Trina needs her.

Valentin and Anna is staying in a town just outside Amsterdam because Valentin thinks that Victoria’s favorite jeweler may know where Victor is hiding Lucy.

Elizabeth rushes to Wyndamere and when she sees that Esme is with Nikolas, she tells him they need to talk privately. Elizabeth tells Nikolas that there has been another hook attack so, she gave up Finn and he gave up Ava because they thought they were keeping people safe from the hook attacker, and now they know Esme isn’t the killer.

Spencer tells Cameron he isn’t leaving town now because Trina needs him and he wants to be there when Esme is caught by the police.

Nikolas gives Ava divorce papers and to push her further away he tells her Elizabeth is pregnant with his child. Ava is so, angry that she tries to stab Nikolas with scissors.

Gregory advises Finn to decide if he wants to save his relationship with Elizabeth and if he does want to save the relationship there is nothing he and Elizabeth can’t get past if they truly love each other.

Spencer punches Dex for putting Jocelyn in danger but both Cameron and Josslynn are angry with him for punching Dex. Spencer sees Trina outside Kelly’s and tells her once he is done with the terms of his conditional release he is leaving town.

Rory responds to a call and finds a dead body when he walks into the apartment. Rory calls for backup. He fires his gun before he gets attacked by the Hook Attacker. Dante arrives and calls in a shots fired call before he goes into the apartment. Dante finds a weakened Rory who says “the hook” before he falls to the floor.

Jordan arrives and she and Dante put Rory in her car and rush him to the hospital. Jordan calls Curtis and tells him to bring Cameron, Josslynn, and Trina to the hospital. Finn gives Rory the anti-venom, but he has too much internal bleeding and he is very weak when Trina rushes to Rory’s gurney in the hospital hallway. Trina cries and apologizes to Rory for not telling him that she loves him. Rory takes off his oxygen mask and tells Trina “I know it was too soon to tell you, but I am glad you know” then Rory dies as Trina sobs and puts her head on his stomach.

Josslyn persuades Trina to be honest with Rory and tell him she doesn’t love him yet. Trina tells Jocelyn she feels a pull toward Spencer even though she wants to love Rory. Josslyn thinks of her situation with Cameron and Dex which is the same as the situation Trina is in with Spencer and Rory, but Josslyn hasn’t taken her own advice and told Cameron the truth.

Trina goes to the police station to talk to Rory, but he is on a police call. Rory knocks on a door and says he is the police and asks if anyone is home. Rory turns the doorknob and since the door isn’t locked he goes inside the room. Dante tells Jordan and Rory that, according to tests, the venom that was on the tip of the hook used to kill the bartender that helped clear Tribe’s name came from a snake found in Asia.

Britt tells Brad he is the sole beneficiary named in her will and she hopes he will use the money to become independent and not have to work for his Aunt Selina. Britt doesn’t tell Brad that she has Huntington’s disease.
Liesl tells Nina that Britt has Huntington’s disease and asks her not to tell anyone about it. Sonny overhears the conversation between Nina and Liesl and, at first, Liesl is upset with Sonny but later she thanks him for advising her to cherish every day she has with Britt and to spend time with her and make memories for herself.

Maxie finds Austin and Spinelli arguing because Spinelli wants to tell Maxie that Austin blackmailed him into using his algorithm to find out if they are a match. The results of the algorithm drop to the floor and Maxie picks it up and Austin admits that he blackmailed Spinelli. Maxie tells Austin she can’t be in another relationship with a man who lies to her.

Elizabeth tells Nikolas that she had to lie to Finn and tell him she is pregnant with his child to explain the prenatal vitamins that he saw her with at the hospital and at Wyndamere. Elizabeth tells Nikolas that they won’t be able to keep up this lie forever so he must choose between a reconciliation with Ava or keeping Esme’s pregnancy a secret.

Drew figures out Willow is sick and she tells him she has stage four leukemia and needs a bone marrow transplant from a relative. Drew promises Willow he will find her father or another relative since her mother is dead. Drew also promises not to tell anyone she has leukemia. The lady that knew Harmony at the commune asks for more money to call Drew that Willow’s father is dead.

Josslyn goes to Sonny’s place to pick up Donna and finds Nina. Nina hopes to put her differences aside with Josslyn and apologizes once again for keeping Sonny from his family when she found him in Nixon Falls. Nina explains to Josslyn that because she fell in love with Sonny even though she knew it was wrong, because she knew he was married and that love led her to keep the truth from Sonny’s family. Josslyn remembers kissing Dex even though she hasn’t broken up with Cameron yet.

Sonny tells Dex that if he wants to continue working for him he can’t be involved with Josslynn. Dex tells Sonny that Josslyn only helped him while he was injured…they are not involved romantically. Sonny gives Dex a gun and takes him along to a meeting with the company that wants to move guns through Port Charles so Dex can provide security for him.

Finn tells Elizabeth he wants to call Jordan because he thinks Nikolas is hiding Esme at Wyndamere. Finn and Elizabeth are on the way to his office to call Jordan when Finn goes back inside the empty patient room where they were talking because Elizabeth forgot a bottle of pre-natal vitamins. Finn remembers he saw a bottle of the same brand of pre-natal vitamins at Wyndamere. Finn asks Elizabeth if she is pregnant.

Spencer asks Trina if they can start their relationship over again. Trina tells Spencer that a public restaurant isn’t the place to talk about this and she makes it clear to Spencer that she is with Rory now.

Heather reminds Ryan of their steamy love affair when she found him in a cabin in the woods many years ago while she was on a hike. Ryan and Heather knew each other as Richard and Hazel when they had their romance. Ryan is upset with Heather because she left him without saying goodbye and because he found out later that Heather was pregnant when she left him.

Martin arrives before Valentin and Anna leave and Anna tells him that Lucy is alive and she and Valentin are on their way to find her but they must leave before the U.S Marshalls find her. The U.S Marshalls arrive and Martin distracts them for a little while but Valentin must hit them over the head with a gun so he and Anna can get away in Martin’s car. Martin stays behind to distract the other U.S Marshalls.

Jordan questions Ryan with help from his nurse to interpret his blinking. Ava is also present to help give Ryan incentive to cooperate with Jordan Ryan tells Jordan that the letter published in The Invader is from the hook attacker but the killer isn’t Esme because she doesn’t have any family and the killer used the words “me and mine” in the letter.

Sonny goes to visit Heather who is at Spring Ridge to tell her not to give the police a description of the guard who was driving the van that was supposed to transport her and Anna because, if she does talk to the police, she could suffer, an accident. Heather promises Sonny she won’t say a word to the police.

Nikolas tells Spencer and Victor that they must both stay at the Metro Court because he and Spencer are not ready to live together yet Rory takes Trina to the Port Charles Grill where, after they have dinner, Rory tells Trina he loves her but Trina is distracted when she sees Spencer walk into the restaurant with his Uncle Victor.

Finn tells Elizabeth that he loves her and he wants a future with her. Elizabeth tells Finn she wants a future with him too but she gets worried when Finn tells her that he went to Spoon Island to talk to Nikolas about Esme. Heather wears a doctor’s coat and sneaks into Ryan’s room and says “Hello lover.”

Felicia finds a code inside the diamonds of the necklace and Robert and Laura set out to decipher the coded message so they can figure out Victor’s plan.

Valentin finds Anna in Ireland and they decide to look for Lucy together. Valentin gets a call from Felicia who tells him that the U.S Marshall has a lead on Anna so they must leave quickly.

Victor gets Spencer out of Pentonville on supervised release so Spencer moves into Wyndamere, and Nikolas worries that he will discover Esme. Nikolas tells Finn that Esme isn’t on Spoon Island, but Finn thinks Nikolas is lying to him.

Jeff tells Elizabeth he is sorry for everything he put her through just so he wouldn’t have to take responsibility for his affair. Jeff hopes that Elizabeth will let him be a part of her life some day. Elizabeth doesn’t think that will be possible because he has caused her too much pain.

Britt rents out The Haunted Star for her New Year’s Eve birthday bash but only Austin knows she is leaving town after the party so that her friends and family will not see her when her illness gets worse.

Cody tells Adam and Dante he is leaving town today.

Elizabeth once again catches Esame pretending that she took a whole bottle of prenatal vitamin. Esme tells Elizabeth that Ava had something to do with her fall off the parapet and her attempted murder. Nikolas stops Esme from saying anymore but Esame is hopeful that Elizabeth will figure out that Ava tried to kill her and go to the police and tell them that Nikolas is holding her hostage. Nikolas is confident that Elizabeth will be loyal to him and not go to the police.

Rory asks Trina out on a date to celebrate their three-month anniversary of them becoming an official couple. Trina can’t stop thinking about Spencer.

Ava advises Trina that complicated men cause trouble it is best to stick with a reliable man.

Cyrus tells Spencer not to trust Victor and gives him a gift to give to Trina. Victor arrives at Pentonville with news about Spencer’s future.

Curtis is upset that Jordan won’t give him information about the hook attacker investigation, so he asks Alexis to help him catch a killer.

Marshall once again tells Portia he doesn’t want to get genetic counseling.

Jeff goes to visit Heather and tells her to stay away from his family. Ryan rolls up in his wheelchair before Jeff leaves and, once Jeff is gone. Heather tells Ryan that if he could talk, she thinks he would have a lot to say to her.

Esme asks Nikolas to let her go out and pick her own Christmas tree to decorate the storage room. Esme plans to use this as a way to escape.

Finn talks to Alexis and, after they talk, Finn goes to Wyndermere to talk to Nikolas.

Dante tells Sonny that he covered for him when he had Dex beaten but he took an oath and he won’t cover for him if he finds out he committed another crime.

Sonny tells Dante that if has to arrest him some day he will not love him any less because he is doing his job.

Sam helps Sasha decorate Rice Plaza and tells her about baby Lila who was still born to let her know that she understands what it is like to lose a child.

Michael advises Drew not to waste time with Carly because nobody knows how much time they have with the people they love.

Carly is able to bring Willow back to consciousness by putting a cold towel on her face. Willow refuses to go to the doctor and Carly and Nina go talk outside. Carly advises Nina to stay away from Willow for the sake of her baby. Nina later talks to Sasha and tells her she is going to follow Carly’s advice and stay away from Willow. Carly tells Michael that Willow fainted and Michael sends a text message to Terry. Michael thinks Willow should tell people she has leukemia in order to increase her chances to find a bone marrow donor.

Drew and Carly are about to make love at her house when he gets a message that they have a lead on the identity of Willow’s parents.

Josslyn refuses to let Dex push her away to protect her because she can make her own decisions. Dex kisses Josslynn and then Sonny knocks on Dex’s door and tells him they need to talk

Josslyn tells Carly she wants to change her major from Communications to Pre Med because she never wants to feel helpless when someone is injured. Josslyn also tells Carly she doesn’t have romantic feelings for Cameron anymore because she has changed. Carly advises Josslyn n to have a talk with Cameron and tell him how she feels even though he will be hurt.

Dex tells Michael how Carly and Josslyn helped him. Michael tells him he would rather blow up his entire plan then have Josslyn involved in it. Michael tells Dex he must keep Josslynn at arm’s length.

Valentin tells Sonny that Pikeman Security Group wants to discretely move weapons through Port Charles and if he refuses the deal Lineman will consider him a liability which they will remove.

Chase and Sasha decorate Rice Plaza for Christmas while Sasha persuades Chase to forgive Sasha for not sending the letter to the Civilian Review Board. Brook Lynn finally gives the letter to Dante, but it is too late because the board had the meeting this morning. Brook Lynn refuses to give up and makes a call to someone and asks that person for help.

Nina and Willow have an argument when Willow refuses to go help Sasha decorate Rice Plaza. Nina is unaware that Willow had another chemotherapy treatment and isn’t feeling well. Nina calls Willow selfish for not helping Sasha who has had a difficult year. Nina says Willow is lucky to be with the man she loves and a growing family. Willow has had enough and shouts at Nina to shut up. Willow yells that Nina only showed up using Sasha as an excuse because she is always trying to find a way to get close to Wiley. Carly overheard the last part of the argument because the front door is slightly open. Carly pushes the door all way open just before Willow passes out and falls to the floor.

Portia tries to persuade Marshall to do genetic counseling without telling him that she thinks he isn’t Chris’s father. Dr Obrecht offers Cody money to stay away from Britt, but he turns down her offer of money.. Britt decides to throw herself a birthday bash before her illness gets worse.

Nicolas isn’t happy that Ava is going to persuade Ryan to tell her Esme’s whereabouts.

Chase is very angry that Brook Lynn didn’t tell him that Dante had asked her to write a letter to the Civilian Review board to help him get back his job. Chase is angry that Brook Lynn took away his choice to be a cop or a singer. Chase tells Brook Lynn that their relationship has come to an end.

Holly didn’t get burned in the fire…it was all part of a plan devised by Felicia, Holly and Robert to make Victor think Holly is in a coma due to her severe burns and is in a hospital in Canada. Holly leaves town with a fake ID to rescue Ethan. A few days before the plan was going to happen, Holly gave Selena Wu a diamond from the necklace in exchange for her promise to drug Victor with a drug that won’t kill him but will make him feel miserable. Holly gives Robert the necklace and a kiss goodbye before she leaves town again.

Gladys and Jordan are both upset with Alexis for publishing the letter the Hook Attacker sent to her in The Invader. Jordan is very upset that Alexis wrote that the prime suspect in the hook attacks is Esme Prince. Gladys is upset that as family of a victim she wasn’t told that Esme was a suspect in the hook attacks. Gladys calls the phone number that Selina Wu gave her to ask for a seat at the next poker game.

Sasha has memories of Brandon as she spends her first Thanksgiving without him. Chase finally asks Brook Lynn why she never wrote the letter to the police review board to help him get back his job.

The Quartermaine’s Thanksgiving bad luck continues as Olivia thinks she ordered a ready to eat turkey from a French company but what she ordered is a live turkey. Leo won’t let them kill Mr. Waddle so the Quartermaine’s once again order pizza for their traditional Thanksgiving dinner

Mac and Robert think Holly is at a trapping cabin on the Canadian border. Holly doesn’t want to surrender to the police and she accidentally knocks over lantern which rolls by the fireplace and catches fire and after a few minutes the entire cabin erupts into flames. The audience sees someone get out of the cabin. The person is engulfed in flames and flaying their arms trying to extinguish the flames on their body. Robert cries because he has lost Holly again.
