Gregory finally decides to tell Chase about his ALS diagnosis, but when he gets to Chase’s apartment, he finds Brook Lynn. Chase and Brook Lynn order dinner to be delivered and they invite Gregory to stay and have dinner with them.

Nina is worried because Alexis told her she and Sonny’s family could be in danger while he is under arrest. Carly agrees to let Nina know what Brick tells her about the business. Carly tells Nina that Brick told her everything is stable with the business right now.

Dante is upset with Sam because she didn’t tell him she helped Cody get into Fern Cliff. Dante tells Sam he supports her decision, but he doesn’t want her to keep things from him anymore. Felicia tells Mac to trust Cody and not go to Fern Cliff to help him because he could make things worse.

Dr. Montague tells Gladys that Sasha needs 24 hours to detox before he can release her from Fern Cliff. Gladys leaves to go tell Nina that Sasha will be home tomorrow. When Gladys leaves, Dr. Montague calls someone on the phone and asks the person to get him a drug that will make a person forget that they know someone. Cody persuades Sasha to leave Fern Cliff with him, but when they are about to leave Sasha’s room, Dr Montague comes into Sasha’s room and sees Cody with Sasha.

Jack and Diane tell them he is happy with his life right now and he and Summer won’t get back together. Kyle tells his parents that if they can’t accept that, he and Harrison will move out. Kyle also advises Jack to fire Billy and he might consider coming back to Jabot as his Co-CEO. Diane later tells Jack that she wants Kyle to return to Jabot to keep him from going down the wrong path.

Adam tries to persuade Nick and Sally that he wants to change and make amends to the Newman family and try to become a better person. Sally seems to believe Adam, but Nick doesn’t believe him.

Victor decides to give Kirsten Industries back to Sharon and not merge it with McCall Unlimited and Newman Media. Sharon offers Nick a job working with her at Kirsten Industries.

Nikki asks Kyle to try and reconcile with Summer, but he tells her Summer broke his trust and their marriage can’t be fixed. Nikki decides to keep Kyle at Newman Media, but she doesn’t know what job she wants him to do yet. Nikki warns Kyle that she will fire both he and Audra if there is any inappropriate behavior between them. Kyle lies to Nikki that his relationship with Audra has ended. Nate later sees Audra with Kyle at the park and tells her she is taking a big risk lying to Nikki.

Abby talks to Kyle at the park and he tells her that Summer was holding him back and now he is free to have fun and make his own decisions. Abby calls Jack later and tells him she thinks Kyle is headed down a bad path in his life. Jack asks Kyle to come to the house and have a talk.

Billy tries to persuade Abby to vote with him so they can put a clause in the bylaws of Jabot that states that Diane has to wait ten years before she can have a seat on the board at Jabot. Abby tells Billy no and later brings the idea to Jack, but he refuses telling Billy that he trusts Diane and knows she doesn’t want to take over the company. Jack tells Diane he fears he will have to go to war with Billy.

Ava demands that Mason give her Nikolas’ body, but he says that he has to wait until his boss tells him to return the body to her.

Sonny refuses to tell the FBI anything so he has to stay in jail until his arraignment in three days.

Michael and Carly suspect that Josslyn fixed the damaged flash drive and turned Sonny in to the FBI. Josslyn tells Carly and Michael she didn’t turn Sonny in to the FBI. Dex tells Carly and Michael he intended to burn the flash drive but he didn’t have time so he threw it in a public trash can. Carly and Michael think someone was following Dex and took the flash drive out of the trash, fixed it, and gave the flash drive to the FBI.

Maxie wants to take the deal Tracy offered them and not take the case to court and risk losing Deception.

Austin tries to persuade Nikolas to go back to town and tell Ava that he is alive but Nikolas tells Austin that it isn’t the time for people to know he is alive.

Audra meets with Nikki to ask her to keep Kyle at Newman Media. Nikki tells Audra she will consider keeping Kyle at Newman Media but first she has to talk to him.

Sally encourages Nick to follow his instincts and do what is best for him not just follow his father’s orders.

Adam persuades Sharon to talk to Nick and tell him that he is remorseful about what he has done in the past and wants to change his ways.

Devon gives Mariah a sign language lesson, so she won’t be so worried in case the hearing aids or a cochlear implant won’t work for Aria. Devon invites Mariah to move in with him, Abby, and Dominic until Tessa gets back from her photo shoot just so she won’t be home worrying alone. Mariah accepts Devon invitation to move into the Chancellor mansion.

“Learning to Love” Review on by Eva 9/4/2023

Learning to Love is the first movie in the Great American Autumn movies from Great American Family network. Ever week a new movie will be shown every Saturday until the middle of October.

The movie is about Harry Carlton (Philip Boyd) who is dealing with the death of his wife and having to raise his two daughters while working as an architect. Harry has hired several tutors for his daughters, but the tutors have never gotten along well with them. Harry meets Stephanie Miller (Ina Barron) who accidentally arrives at his office thinking she is there for an interview with an advertising agency but after talking to Harry for a few minutes she finds out the advertising agency is on another floor. The interview with the advertising agency doesn’t work out because Stephanie arrives late and without a resume because she left the resume in Harry’s office. Harry offers Stephanie the job as a tutor because Stephanie was a teacher before she worked in advertising.

I really enjoyed watching this movie, it was funny and sweet and Philip Boyd and Ina Barron had wonderful chemistry together and you are really hoping that they become a couple and get their happy ending. Harry’s daughters Rosa (Caroline Skye) and Bella (Zoe Willis). do a wonderful job and are really believable as sisters who love their dad and want the best for him.

I give this movie a 5 out of 5 stars. If you miss the movie or forget to set your DVR, the movie will rerun on Great American Family or it will stream on pureflix.com.

Olivia takes Ned to the Metro Court pool to recreate the day he hit his head, but he still can’t remember anything.

Maxie, George, and James decide to rent Lily’s house despite the fact that Maxie and Georgie have a hard time being in the house without thinking of Lulu. Maxie decides Lulu would want her to make the house feel like a home again.

Wiley persuades Michael and Willow to have a family barbeque and invite Sonny and Nina.

Carly gets a tip from a customer named Steve who tells her he heard some Federal agents talking when he was walking on the docks, and he heard one of the agents say the name Corinthos. Carly calls Sonny to warn him, but he ignores her call. Carly calls Dex to tell him there is going to be a raid. Dex makes a quick getaway, but the Coast Guard arrests another of Sonny’s men whose name is Gabe. Federal agents arrive at the Metro Court and arrest Sonny as Michael, Willow, Wiley, Kristina, and Nina watch Sonny get arrested. Wiley asks Willow where they are taking his grandpa.

Brook Lynn is hurt by what Tracy made her do to Lucy and Maxie. Brook Lynn tells Tracy that she always thought she was misunderstood but she has realized that she doesn’t care about her family. Brook Lynn explains to Chase what Tracy made her do and why she can’t live with her anymore. Chase asks Brook Lynn to move in with him so she won’t have to live with Tracy.

Robert tells Diane that he thinks the WSB paid the judge to put Drew in Pentonville. Diane is determined to find proof that the judge took money from the WSB.

Spencer tells Alexis he doesn’t want his father to be found because he and Ace are doing fine without him.

Lucy tells Martin she is going to fight Tracy in court even if Deception goes bankrupt and she has to go back to selling real estate.

Ava calls Lucy and tells her she wants to sell Wyndemere and Spoon Island. Ava demands that Mason keep his end of the deal they made and give her back Nikolas body. Mason tells Ava that the body will be returned to her after a situation is resolved tonight.

The audience sees Austin go into a dark room. Austin turns on the light and asks someone how they are doing. The audience then sees Nikolas sitting on a couch drinking a beer. Nikolas says ” Just fine Doc how are you?”

Summer tells Nikki that she and Kyle are getting a divorce and that Kyle has moved on with Audra Charles. Nikki decides that Audra needs to learn humility, so she decides to put Audra in her place. Nikki tells Audra to leave Kyle alone so Kyle and Summer can have a chance to reconcile. Nikki tells Audra if she doesn’t let Kyle go she can forget about a future at Newman Media.

Summer tells Kyle that Heather has agreed to represent her in their divorce.

Jack and Ashley have a long talk, and Ashley agrees to give Diane the benefit of the doubt unless Diane reverts back to her old self.

Jack agrees to be civil to Tucker.

Ashley tells Jack she needs time to think if she is going to stay at Jabot or start her own company.

Jack tells Billy about the truce between him and Ashley. Billy doesn’t believe Ashley wants a truce. Jack also wants to make up with Billy, but Billy doesn’t feel like talking about their earlier argument.

Celina tells Sonny she had to stop the poker games at the Savoy because Curtis won’t sell her the club. Celina asks Sonny to persuade Curtis to sell her the club. Sonny tells Celina not to bother Curtis or his family. Sonny is also annoyed with Celina because he has a feeling Celina is lying to him about having a side business.

Gladys tells Nina that Dr. Montague is holding Sasha hostage because he knows she has money and wants Gladys to continue to be Sasha’s guardian so he can continue to have access to Sasha’s money. Nina tells Gladys she will give her the money but, if anything happens to Sasha, she will tell Sonny and he will be very upset with her.

Cody persuades a psychiatrist he has intentions of killing himself.

Sam signs papers to commit Cody to Fern Cliff.

Jackson Montgomery persuades a judge that Tracy’s lawsuit has merit. The judge says the trial will be in six months but they have to stop selling the Receptor until the trial is settled. Tracy tells Lucy she will drop the lawsuit in exchange for seventy five percent of Deception. Lucy says no.

Maxie and Lucy figure out Brook Lynn gave Tracy the information about the Receptor because Tracy was blackmailing Brook Lynn, but they don’t know with what information.

Dante goes to see Sasha and later tells Sonny that Nurse Nancy told him someone has been bringing drugs to Sasha. Dante tells Sonny he will try to find out what is going on so they can help Sasha.

Celina calls Gladys and tells her she must pay her what she owes her by the end of the day.

This episode centers around the constant Newman family battle for power at Newman Enterprises and the various companies under the Newman umbrella. A large part of the episode takes place at the Newman ranch as Victor wants to hear Adam, Nick, and Sharon about their vision for the future of SNA media.

Adam, Nick, and Sharon each have a daydream about what they want to happen at the meeting. Once Sharon ends her daydream, she tells Victor that she wants to pull out of the merger because she doesn’t want her company stripped to the bare essentials. Victor tells Sharon he needs the company and he won’t let her out of her contract. Sharon tells Victor that she will take him to court and fight for her company.

Adam daydreams that Victor makes him the CEO of Newman Media and fires Nick and Sharon. Once Adam finishes his fantasy, he is shocked when Victor wants Nikki as the CEO of Newman Media with Audra as COO. Victor wants Nick back at Newman Enterprises as Victoria’s Co-CEO and Adam is left out again.

Nick is mad because Victor won’t give Sharon back her company but he tells Victor he wants to talk to Victoria before taking the job. Nikki tells Victor she wants to think about the job offer.

Sharon calls Michael for legal advice about getting back her company.

Adam gets drunk at his place and declares war on Victor. Victor angrily punches the heavy boxing bag inside his home gym and screams that no one ever leaves him and then he starts to cry.

Brick tells Sonny that Betty is in Mexico, so it looks like the fake flash drive worked and Mason’s boss took the bait. Sonny tells Brick he has people in Mexico watching Betty. Sonny is even more determined to find out who Mason’s boss is because this Pikeman deal is getting dangerous.

Curtis comes home and feels overwhelmed by everything he has lost. Curtis tells Marshall he wants to sell the Savvoy. Marshall tells Curtis that, if he changes his mind, he can run the club for him until he is ready to run the club again.

Curtis tells Portia he loves her, but he worries because he can’t make love to her.

Cyrus tells Drew he will find a way to repay him for saving his life.

Lucy and Maxie are shocked when Tracy arrives in court because she is the one who is suing them claiming that Lucy stole the idea for the Deceptor.

Gladys asks Nina for the money to get Sasha out of Fern Cliff because Dr. Montague won’t let Sasha out unless he gets his money.

Tucker plants a seed of doubt in Jack by telling him he and Ashley offered Billy the CEO position at Jabot if he helped him and Ashley take over the company.

Billy is hurt that Jack’s first instinct is to assume that he would betray him and participate in a takeover of Jabot.

The audiologist does a house call for Mariah and Tessa and runs some tests on Aria. The audiologist tells Mariah and Tessa that Aria’s hearing loss might be in her inner ear and it may be inherited from one of her biological parents. The condition is treatable but can’t be cured. The audiologist wants to run more tests on Aria to confirm her condition and decide on a treatment for Aria. Devon and Abby promise to help Mariah and Tessa and be there for them when they are needed.

Ashley chokes on a grape while arguing with Diane at Society. Diane performs abdominal thrusts and the grape comes out.
