Spencer and Trina decide to take a trip to New York together so they can spend some time alone together before Trina gets busy with college.

Dex helps Brook Lynn move into the dorm.

Adam asks Josslyn if she wants to be part of his study group for their pre-med classes and Joss tells Adam she will think about it but she has to check her schedule.

Ava tells Austin that if Mason doesn’t give her Nikolas’ body she will tell Sonny everything. Dante and Sam arrive at the cabin and confirm to Sasha that they now believe that Cody was right in his suspicion that Gladys was working with Dr. Montague in order to keep her in Fern Cliff so she could use her money to pay her gambling debt she owes to Selina Wu.

Cyrus, Carly, and Sonny talk to Drew and Sonny asks Drew to try and find out who Austin came to visit at Pentonville. Drew agrees to help Sonny find out who is the boss giving orders to Austin and Mason. Cyrus talks to the warden in her office and she is angry with Cyrus because he has ruined her reputation by giving her false information which she gave to the FBI. Cyrus reminds the warden that he put her in the job of warden and he could take the job away from her.

Spencer asks Alexis to look over some legal documents since Nikolas has been missing for six months control of the Cassadine estate goes to him since he is Nikolas’ heir. Esme listens outside Alex’s office door when Spencer asks Alexis to keep an eye on Esme and Ace while he goes to New York for the weekend with Trina.

Anna finally gets Valentin to admit he went to New York when her house burned because he was summoned by Pikeman. Anna is upset that she had to show Valentin a copy of his plane tickets to get him to admit the truth. Anna wonders what other secrets Valentin is keeping from her. Anna doesn’t feel well so she and Valentin return to her room instead of having lunch. Anna opens the door to her room and finds the entire room smeared in red ink.

Nikolas tells Austin that he has to go to Europe to give his mother clues that he is alive so Spencer doesn’t get control of his Estate.

Tracy’s partner in the Deception lawsuit turns out to be Blair Cramer Martin ‘s third ex-wife. Blair tells Tracy that the Receptor was an unfinished idea of hers that she never developed and she is sure Martin told Lucy about the idea. Blair also wants Martin to marry Lucy, so she won’t have to pay alimony to him anymore.

Tucker tells Audra that he and Ashley had more than an argument which is why Ashley stayed in Paris. Tucker later has some flashbacks of a talk he had with Ashley where he tells her he doesn’t like the look in her eyes. Tucker later tells Heather he will need a good lawyer.

Heather tells Daniel that she broke up with her boyfriend and is considering moving back to Genoa City.

Ashley calls Jack to tell him that she and Tucker had a huge argument when she told him that she doesn’t want to leave Jabot and start a new company with him. Ashley tells Jack Tucker flew into a rage and that is when she realized Tucker hasn’t changed at all. Tucker tells Devon what happened with Ashley, but he leaves out the part about how angry he got with Ashley.

Abby arrives home while Tucker is still talking with Devon. Abby tells Devon what Ashley told her when she called. Devon wants to give Tucker the benefit of the doubt while Abby is worried that Tucker will come after the Abbott family. Billy and Jack are also worried about Tucker is coming after Jabot as well as the Abbott family.

Billy: Well, I’ll take that. I could use some good news.

Abby: Well, she is currently on her way to paris on her honeymoon with tucker, which means she is putting this battle between her and Uncle Jack behind her and she is moving forward, focusing on her new life with her new husband.

Billy: Wow. So much for fool me once, huh? Look, I’m not worried about Ashley, okay? I do wish them both the best, and I really hope that she and Jack can get on solid ground again.

Abby: But you are worried about something, so talk to me.

Maxie confronts Brook Lynn and Brook Lynn admits she gave Tracy the proprietary information on the Deceptor because Tracy used her influence to get Chase a second meeting with the Civilian Review board. Brook Lynn explains to Maxie that, if she didn’t do what Tracy wanted her to do, Tracy was going to tell Chase how he got a second meeting with the board.

Maxie is hurt that Brook Lynn didn’t tell her what Tracy wanted her to do, so they could have come up with a solution together. Maxie fires Brook Lynn and doesn’t give her a chance to try and make things right with Deception. Tracy and Lucy almost negotiate a deal so they can be 51% /49% partners in Deception but then Tracy goes too far and asks Lucy to give up her one percent share of ELQ that Alan left her in his will. Lucy tells Tracy that will never happen and walks out of the Quartermaine Mansion.

Carly agrees to go to Bentonville and help him figure out who Austin was visiting there the day she saw him at the prison. The FBI asks Mac to keep an eye on Dante because they think he told Sonny that the FBI was going to raid his gun shipment.

Dante and Sam figure out that Dr. Montague and Gladys were working together to make Sasha appear unstable so they can take her money. Sasha and Cody also talk things through and figure out Gladys was paying Dr. Montague to drug her so Gladys could remain her legal guardian.

Sonny tells Nina he knew he wasn’t going to jail because the FBI expected to find a shipment of illegal arms but what they found were a shipment of premium coffee beans used to make Corinthos coffee. Michael tells Sonny that he loves him and he is happy that he didn’t go to jail. Michael tells Sonny he is tired of being angry with him and he is ready to let go of the anger. Sonny reminds Michael that no matter what happens he will always love him.

Cody takes Sasha to a cabin Sam got for them. Cody helps Sasha detox from the drugs doctor Montague gave her. Gladys lies to Nina and tells her Cody kidnapped Sasha because he works for Dr. Montague.

Abby demands answers from Tucker about why Ashley is in Paris and why she didn’t come home with him. Tucker tells Abby Ashley is thinking some things over about whether she wants to go into business with him. Tucker also tells Abby that he underestimated the hold the Abbot family had over Ashley. Tucker also tells Abby that she and the Abbotts better stay away from him.

Sharon invites Chance to go with her on a business trip to the west coast, but he turns her down because he has to wait to hear if he is going to be police chief. Summer sees Chance and Sharon talking at the park and she looks jealous as she watches them. Summer walks over to ask Sharon if Phyllis still has a job at her company. Summer also says hello to Chance and tell her about her liberating ride on a roller coaster.

Audra advises Tucker not to go after Jabot to get revenge on the Abbotts. Audra later arrives at Tucker’s hotel room and they kiss.

Victoria is very angry with Victor when he tells her that he is going to run Newman Enterprises again and she will be Co-CEO. Victoria later tells Nate she will find a way to prove Victor isn’t capable of running the company anymore.

Tucker tells Audra that he wants to go ahead with his plan to take over Jabot now that he and Ashley are having irreconcilable differences. Audra tells Tucker that she wants a job at Jabot if she helps him take over the company. Tucker agrees to Audra’s terms and he tells Audra he is glad the team is back together.

Billy gets Jack to agree to let Tucker think he wants to help him get him (Jack) out of Jabot so they can figure out Tucker’s next move.

Molly and TJ’s surrogate, Andrea, goes to the hospital to be inseminated. If everything goes well, she should know if she is pregnant in two weeks if she is pregnant.

Michael tells Kristina that he doesn’t think Sonny will get out of trouble this time. Alexis tells Nina that if Sonny goes to prison, his family will be in danger because Sonny’s enemies could go after his family.

Cody continues to pretend he wants to kill himself so he can stay in Fern Cliff. Sasha tells Dr. Montague that she feels better and wants to go home. Dr. Montague tells Sasha that she still isn’t ready to go home. Dr. Montague injects her with more drugs. Nurse Janice comes into Casey’s room later and thinks she is getting worse. Cody notices that there is nobody at the Nurses’ Station so, he takes the key that is outside Sasha’s room and goes inside to see her.

Anna catches Valentin in another lie when he tells her he will meet with his contact at Lineman but, when she follows him, she sees him go into a room at the Metro Court. Valentin tells Anna he met, with his contact at Pikeman at a cafe, and his contact doesn’t know anything about Sonny’s arrest.

Eddie goes to a recording session that Sonny set up for him. Leo and Olivia watch him record a song and are there to help calm Eddie’s nerves.

Ava once again tries to make Nina understand that she has to learn how to deal with the danger of Sonny’s business. Ava tells Nina she still has time to cancel the wedding if she can’t deal with what Sonny does for a living because Sonny is never going to give up his business. Nina tells Ava she loves Sonny and she wants to marry him. Ava tells Nina she is selling Wyndamere and Spoon Island and wonders if Sonny might want to buy it.

Anna visits Curtis at his house to apologize to him for what happened but Curtis tells Anna it isn’t her fault. Portia talks to Anna alone. Portia tells Anna that she thinks that what happened to Curtis is her fault. Portia also tells Anna not to visit Curtis again.

Cody confronts Dr. Montague because he figures out that he and Gladys are drugging Sasha to take her money and use it to pay Gladys’ gambling debts that she owes to Mrs. Wu. Cody gets into a physical fight with Dr. Montague and takes off Dr. Montague’s clothes and puts them on so he can escape Fern Cliff with Sasha. Cody and Sasha escape before Nurse Janice calls security to tell them to lock down Fern Cliff.

Gregory finally decides to tell Chase about his ALS diagnosis, but when he gets to Chase’s apartment, he finds Brook Lynn. Chase and Brook Lynn order dinner to be delivered and they invite Gregory to stay and have dinner with them.

Nina is worried because Alexis told her she and Sonny’s family could be in danger while he is under arrest. Carly agrees to let Nina know what Brick tells her about the business. Carly tells Nina that Brick told her everything is stable with the business right now.

Dante is upset with Sam because she didn’t tell him she helped Cody get into Fern Cliff. Dante tells Sam he supports her decision, but he doesn’t want her to keep things from him anymore. Felicia tells Mac to trust Cody and not go to Fern Cliff to help him because he could make things worse.

Dr. Montague tells Gladys that Sasha needs 24 hours to detox before he can release her from Fern Cliff. Gladys leaves to go tell Nina that Sasha will be home tomorrow. When Gladys leaves, Dr. Montague calls someone on the phone and asks the person to get him a drug that will make a person forget that they know someone. Cody persuades Sasha to leave Fern Cliff with him, but when they are about to leave Sasha’s room, Dr Montague comes into Sasha’s room and sees Cody with Sasha.

Jack and Diane tell them he is happy with his life right now and he and Summer won’t get back together. Kyle tells his parents that if they can’t accept that, he and Harrison will move out. Kyle also advises Jack to fire Billy and he might consider coming back to Jabot as his Co-CEO. Diane later tells Jack that she wants Kyle to return to Jabot to keep him from going down the wrong path.

Adam tries to persuade Nick and Sally that he wants to change and make amends to the Newman family and try to become a better person. Sally seems to believe Adam, but Nick doesn’t believe him.

Victor decides to give Kirsten Industries back to Sharon and not merge it with McCall Unlimited and Newman Media. Sharon offers Nick a job working with her at Kirsten Industries.

Nikki asks Kyle to try and reconcile with Summer, but he tells her Summer broke his trust and their marriage can’t be fixed. Nikki decides to keep Kyle at Newman Media, but she doesn’t know what job she wants him to do yet. Nikki warns Kyle that she will fire both he and Audra if there is any inappropriate behavior between them. Kyle lies to Nikki that his relationship with Audra has ended. Nate later sees Audra with Kyle at the park and tells her she is taking a big risk lying to Nikki.

Abby talks to Kyle at the park and he tells her that Summer was holding him back and now he is free to have fun and make his own decisions. Abby calls Jack later and tells him she thinks Kyle is headed down a bad path in his life. Jack asks Kyle to come to the house and have a talk.

Billy tries to persuade Abby to vote with him so they can put a clause in the bylaws of Jabot that states that Diane has to wait ten years before she can have a seat on the board at Jabot. Abby tells Billy no and later brings the idea to Jack, but he refuses telling Billy that he trusts Diane and knows she doesn’t want to take over the company. Jack tells Diane he fears he will have to go to war with Billy.

Ava demands that Mason give her Nikolas’ body, but he says that he has to wait until his boss tells him to return the body to her.

Sonny refuses to tell the FBI anything so he has to stay in jail until his arraignment in three days.

Michael and Carly suspect that Josslyn fixed the damaged flash drive and turned Sonny in to the FBI. Josslyn tells Carly and Michael she didn’t turn Sonny in to the FBI. Dex tells Carly and Michael he intended to burn the flash drive but he didn’t have time so he threw it in a public trash can. Carly and Michael think someone was following Dex and took the flash drive out of the trash, fixed it, and gave the flash drive to the FBI.

Maxie wants to take the deal Tracy offered them and not take the case to court and risk losing Deception.

Austin tries to persuade Nikolas to go back to town and tell Ava that he is alive but Nikolas tells Austin that it isn’t the time for people to know he is alive.

“Learning to Love” Review on by Eva 9/4/2023

Learning to Love is the first movie in the Great American Autumn movies from Great American Family network. Ever week a new movie will be shown every Saturday until the middle of October.

The movie is about Harry Carlton (Philip Boyd) who is dealing with the death of his wife and having to raise his two daughters while working as an architect. Harry has hired several tutors for his daughters, but the tutors have never gotten along well with them. Harry meets Stephanie Miller (Ina Barron) who accidentally arrives at his office thinking she is there for an interview with an advertising agency but after talking to Harry for a few minutes she finds out the advertising agency is on another floor. The interview with the advertising agency doesn’t work out because Stephanie arrives late and without a resume because she left the resume in Harry’s office. Harry offers Stephanie the job as a tutor because Stephanie was a teacher before she worked in advertising.

I really enjoyed watching this movie, it was funny and sweet and Philip Boyd and Ina Barron had wonderful chemistry together and you are really hoping that they become a couple and get their happy ending. Harry’s daughters Rosa (Caroline Skye) and Bella (Zoe Willis). do a wonderful job and are really believable as sisters who love their dad and want the best for him.

I give this movie a 5 out of 5 stars. If you miss the movie or forget to set your DVR, the movie will rerun on Great American Family or it will stream on pureflix.com.

Jack: Still choking on those words, are you?

Jack: Yeah. And vVctor.

Ashley: Right. Whatever.

Jack: Look, we can be kind and tolerant.

Ashley: To a point. And that point, you’re not gonna like it, but it’s gonna hinge on Diane. It has to. I mean, if she behaves herself and– and she turns out to be everything that you’ve said she is all along, then I will not just lay down my sword, I will bury the damn thing.

Jack: I will help you buy the shovel,

Ashley: Okay, but… if she takes one misstep, I’m telling you right now, and if all my fears about her come true, I will be back with a vengeance, Jack, and I will be holding that sword so high.

Sharon: Did victor give you any idea why he wanted us here today?

Nick: Nope, but I’m sure the subject of Newman Media will come up, but beyond that, I have no idea.

Sharon: Well, I’ve given a lot of thought to that since we talked about it.

Adam: Would you care to share, Sharon? Oh, that’s right.

Sharon: Very funny, Adam.

Adam: Well, are you implying that I can’t be trusted with sensitive information?

Nick: You seem to be in a pretty good mood for somebody who just got busted for trying to screw over his partners.

Adam: Okay, I never attempted to screw over anybody.

Nick: Yeah, what would you call it?

Adam: Business. I made a play, it didn’t work, so on to the next.

Sharon: If there is a next.

Nick: If we’re still a part of any of this.

Adam: Well, I’m guessing some of us will be. Probably the ones who know how to run a media company. I think that’ll narrow the field a little bit.

Sharon: Wow, you never give up, do you?

Adam: Not when I am right.

Nick: And in your mind, that’s always.

Victor: Yes, indeed it does. Uh, Nate Hastings will no longer be involved with Newman Enterprises. And your mother will become the new Director of Research and Development for Newman Media. And Victoria will become my COO.

Nick: [ Scoffs ] Your COO?

Victor: Yes. Taking back the reigns of my company. I own the damn thing. My name on it.

Nick: Adam has done nothing but bring pain to all of our lives. He thrives on deception and blackmail. Help me understand this.

Victor: He’s my son. He has earned it.

Nick: What does that make me?

Victor: You’re just not as capable, son. That’s all. Proud of you, my boy. Very proud of you.

Adam: Thanks, pops.

Adam: No. Honestly, I’m not surprised. I would think you and Nick are pretty pissed at me, since I openly pushed to run Newman Media when our companies merged together.

Sharon: I wish I could say that I didn’t see this coming, but it makes sense that you would try to grab hold of power.

Adam: So, what now? Are you sitting here, plotting how best to get revenge on me? To teach me a lesson?

Sharon: Because that’s how I am.

Adam: No. No, you’re not. I– that wasn’t fair. I– but, I understand, if you’re upset with me.

Sharon: Not everything is about you, Adam. After everything that’s happened, I’m thinking in much bigger terms now. I’ve made a decision. It’s one that will affect the entire operation.

Sharon: I’d like to call a meeting with the three of us and Victor after I have a chance to speak to Nikolas again.

Adam: So, this is something that nick gets a vote on and I don’t? Sharon, I gotta say, I don’t love being left out of these discussions.

Sharon: You are joking, right? You tried to seize power in a company that we’re supposed to be building together, and now you’re worried about being left out of the loop.

Adam: Okay. I’m sorry that you’re looking at my request as an attempt at a coup. To me, it– it was just logical
