Ashley agrees to one dinner with Tucker at Society because he agrees to leave her alone if she doesn’t want to see him anymore after they have dinner.
Nate tells Devon, Lily, and Billy that he has been working with the CEO of another company to give them information about the IPO. Devon figures out that Nate was going to sell this CEO his shares of the company so they could own Chancellor-Winters. Devon thinks the person Nate was working for is his father Tucker. So, he heads to Tucker’s hotel room to talk to him. Devon asks Tucker to give him an honest answer to the question did he come back to town to gain control of Chancellor Winters? Nate catches Elena before she leaves and tells her he told Devon and Lily the truth. Lily tells Aura not to file the IPO papers until they figure out the person for whom Nate was working.
Sally receives an invitation to have dinner on the roof of the Grand Phoenix signed N. Sally is touched by Nick’s romantic gesture but when she arrives to dinner she is surprised to see Adam sent her the invitation to dinner.

Michael tells Dex he needs to make sure that Josslynn stays away from him because she can’t be involved in his plan to take down Sonny. Michael even asks Cameron to help keep Josslynn away from Dex because he is a bad guy.
Sonny tells Ava he will put a guard on Trina to help keep her safe. Ava thinks Sonny keeps Dex around to mentor him.
Nikolas asks Esme to take a paternity test which she is more than willing to take if he keeps her out of jail. Nikolas locks Esme in the storage wing of Windemere so she can’t hurt anyone else.
Carly makes a speech to save the cemetery and waits for the beautification guild’s vote.
Lucy finds out Victor is working with Deputy Mayor Ashby and then Anna and Valentin tell her they don’t need her help anymore.
Sonny calls Dex and tells him he wants to talk to him about his future.
Victor finds the bug planted in his hotel room and knows Lucy bugged him because the bug smells like strawberries just like Lucy’s lipstick.

Billy sees Chelsea at the park and tells her that she will not force Johnny to accept her, he needs time and space to handle the news. Billy forbids Chelsea to ambush Johnny again. Billy tells Chelsea that if she keeps pushing things they will have a problem and he will do everything possible to protect Johnny.
Billy tells Lily that he will quit his job after the company goes public because he isn’t happy as a businessman.
Allie tells Audra that she and Noah are happy, and nothing that she can say will make her lose faith in Noah. Noah tells Mariah and Tessa that Aura can be moody, and when she gets in a mood she acts like a spoiled child. Noah worries that A idea’s drama will cause trouble for him and he doesn’t want drama in his life.
Elena interrupts the meeting at Chancellor-Winters right before they are about to sign the papers to take the company public. Elena speaks to Nate alone and tells him she is leaving town tonight to take r job in Baltimore. Elena tells Nate it is best that they break up now so they can move on with their lives. Elena tells Nate she still loves the man that he is inside but not this man that is obsessed with power. Elena kisses Nate goodbye and leaves the office.
Victoria tells Nick that despite his concerns she has decided to go ahead with her plan to take over Chancellor-Winters. Nate returns to the meeting and tells Devon and Lily he needs to talk to them privately.

Tucker tells Ashley that the near fatal car accident he had in Monte Carlo made him reevaluate his life and realize that she was the best thing he had in his life. Tucker tells Ashley he is sorry that he cheated on her and he wants a chance to make things right with her. Ashley tells Tucker they are never getting back together and asks him to leave since she heard what he wanted to tell her.
Victor asks Michael to investigate and try to find out why Tucker is in town because he thinks he wants to buy Chancellor-Winters stock once the company goes public. Nikki has a talk with Audra Charles who tells her she has heard of Tucker Mcall but never met him and says that Wild Beauty was a wonderful non-profit that helped young artists. Nikki and Phyllis tell Ashley all the information they have discovered with Ashley but they still haven’t put all the pieces together. Phyllis suggests that Ashley use Tucker’s attraction for her to get him to reveal his agenda.
Kyle asks Diane if her return has anything to do with Tucker. She lies and says she has no connection to Tucker, and she wishes that he would leave town.
Aura meets with Tucker and he asks her how things are going with the Chancellor Winters IPO.

Sloane went to see Paulina. She told her that she had information that could ruin her political career before it even begins. Paulina said all of her dirt has already been revealed. Sloane told her that she was talking about Chanel’s dirty secret. Stephanie thanked Chad for his help with Paulina’s campaign. She hoped he would stay with the company after the election. She wanted to drink some champagne when Tripp called her. He wanted to know about Kayla. She avoided tell him everything. She let Chad know that she wished she could tell her brothers how Kayla really was. She said she couldn’t lose her mother. He understood what she was going through since he thought of Kate as a mother. She knew he was still grieving over Abby. Alex walked in and saw them together. He walked out of the room. Chad thanked her for giving him a job. He told her that he saw Abby at her grave and she told him to move on with his life. He thought Abby was telling him to move on with his life. He leaned over and kissed her.

Gwen picked on Jennifer for hitting her and leaving her for dead. Jennifer apologized to her. Jennifer said she remembered doing it an hour ago. She told Gwen that she was high. She also said she was thinking about Abby. Gwen said she was there to save herself and not because she was sorry. Jennifer said that wasn’t true. She said she was there to get help. Gwen said she heard that story before from her mother. She said she knew addicts lie. Jennifer said she was right. She said she would do the right thing and turn herself in. Gwen said she didn’t think she would get clean in prison. She told Jennifer not to do it. She said she knew how much Jennifer was suffering because of Laura and Abby’s deaths. She said she wasn’t surprised Jennifer tried to numb the pain. Gwen said she cared about her. Gwen said she wished someone had told her mother they cared about her. Gwen said she was too needy to do it then, but she could do it now. She said she would tell the police Jennifer didn’t hit her. Jennifer asked why she would cover up for her. Gwen said she wanted to make sure she did what her mother didn’t do. She said she couldn’t take Jennifer away from Jack after what happened to Abby. She said it would destroy him. Leo told Jack that Gwen got her memory back. Leo said Gwen knew Jennifer was the driver. He said if Jack wanted it to go away, he had to write a check. Jack asked if Gwen knew he was there. Leo said she didn’t, but they talked about it. He said he wanted a million dollars. He said he would go to the police. Jack said he would wire him the money.
Jack went to Gwen’s room at the hospital. He told Jennifer and Gwen that Leo was blackmailing him. Jennifer told him what she did to Gwen. Gwen said she wouldn’t say anything. Jack said Leo could still go to the police. Gwen told him not to give Leo anything. Jack asked why she was doing this. Jennifer said she was his daughter and loved him. When Jack went home, he saw Leo. Leo asked if he had the money. Jack said his plan backfired. He told Leo to get out. Leo left. Jennifer came home and apologized to Jack for lying about the pills and for almost killing his daughter. She asked if he could forgive her. He apologized for not seeing how much she was suffering. She wanted to know what she should do. He said whatever it was she wouldn’t be doing it alone. Chad helped Stephanie with her press release. She said it was hard to concentrate since Kayla has been sick. Paulina showed up and said she was owed an apology. She said the election was one month away and her numbers were down. She wanted Stephanie to get things done by the end of business. Stephanie said she wouldn’t be able to do it. Chad told Paulina that Stephanie’s mother was in the hospital. He told her to give Stephanie a break. Paulina asked why Stephanie didn’t delegate her responsibilities. Stephanie apologized and told her she would get the job done. Paulina said she could let Chad help her. Chad told her who Chad was. Paulina offered her condolences. When Paulina left, Chad and Stephanie talked about her hiring more people. He offered to work for her.

EJ told Stefan that he asked Johnny and Ava to move back in the mansion. He needed them close so they could get the votes to kick Gabi out of DiMera Enterprises. EJ noticed how sexy Gabi is. Stefan admitted that shew as beautiful, but he was repulsed by her. EJ wondered why he was still wearing his wedding ring if he’s repulsed by her. Stefan didn’t know why he was wearing it. He had it on when he was brought back to life. EJ told him that he and Gabi were in love when he “died.” Stefan said his opinion was the only one that matter and he didn’t want to be with her. EJ said that he should take it off. Ava went to see Gabi and told her about EJ wanting her to move back in the mansion. Gabi told her that she shouldn’t trust him. Gabi told her not to move back in the mansion. Ava told her that EJ wanted Johnny back too. Gabi changed her tune and said she should go back to the mansion after all.
Rafe and Jada wanted to surprise Eric and Nicole at Basic Black. Eric got info about Marlena, Kayla and Kate when Nicole walked in the room. He updated her about what happened with them. Nicole thought he should be with his mother. She assured him there was a cure. She tried to make him feel better about what’s going on with Marlena and company. He hugged her while they were talking. Rafe and Jada walked in on them hugging. Eric and Nicole pulled apart and explained why they were hugging. Jada wanted to know what happened with Marlena, but Eric couldn’t get into that now. Nicole wanted to help him control his emotions. He didn’t have an appetite and wanted to go home. Jada offered to go with him. Eric and Jada left the room.

Nancy and Mike ran into each other in the town square. They had a tense reunion. He remembered what she did when he was in Salem before. She told him about Craig and Clyde. She let him know that she was paying for her wrongdoings. He shared with her that he thought he was gay at a point. He was glad things changed. She told him that she and Craig were in a good place. He let her know that he was going to be in New York and she said she was going back there too. Jennifer was nervous waiting for Mike. She wanted to get the rehab started. Jack assured her that everything would be taken care of when they get to New York. Jennifer didn’t want him to go with her. She told him that she would be in treatment and Gwen needed him. Jack held her and told her how much he loved her. She didn’t want to let Abby down again. Mike arrived to get her. She told him that admitting that she needed help was the hardest thing to do. Jennifer said goodbye to Doug and Julie. She started to cry in front of Jack. He assured her that it wasn’t goodbye. She touched him and left with Mike. Leo ran into Craig and he wanted to apologize for accusing him of murder. Craig told him that he was the first man he fell for and their relationship would always be special to him. Craig said he still had feelings for him, but he heard him talking on the phone with Gwen about needing a sugar daddy. Leo said he tried to blackmail Jack, but it didn’t work out for him.
Craig told Leo that being with him was like being on the edge of a cliff. He thought Nancy was a good and solid person. he couldn’t be with someone like him. Rex told John that there hasn’t been in changes on the women’s illnesses. He said the only cure was the one Rolf made. He told John that the flower Rolf used doesn’t exist anymore. John knew Rolf would have a cure. Rex said they didn’t know where he could be. John thought Stefan would know where to find him. Rex planned on tracking him down. Kristen went to visit Marlena at the hospital. She lied and told her that she found out about her condition at the hospital. They talked about the orchid that was needed for the cure. Kristen flashed back to Rolf showing her the orchid. Marlena knew that John and Steve would find it and give it to Rex to create a cure. Kristen wanted a favor. Marlena didn’t think anyone could make her laugh. She wanted her to think of Rachel. Kristen wanted her to talk to Brady about Rachel. Marlena refused to help her get Rachel. Kristen wished her luck on the orchid. Kristen said it would be a shame if the people she loved died.

Chad went to see Jennifer. She told him she was going to rehab. She told him that Mike was in charge of a facility that she was going to in New York. Chad apologized for relying on her too much. He thought he made things worse while she was struggling. He said he was glad Abby got justice. Jennifer said it wasn’t enough. He told her he saw Abby. He said he needed to be strong. She was surprised that he talked to Abby. Jennifer said she saw Abby too. She said she let people down. He said people let her down too. He said she felt like a mother to him. He said Abby would want it. He said Abby would want them to be close. Jennifer said they were. When he left, she thought about the accident. She was shocked when she realized it was Gwen that she hit. Gwen woke up from a nightmare she had about the accident. When she woke up, she saw Sarah in her room. Sarah asked if she remembered anything about the accident. Sarah asked if she remembered the accident. Sarah asked if she remembered the driver. Sarah said she was glad she was awake so she could talk to her about framing her and Abby. Gwen asked what did she want from her. Sarah wanted to know if she was out for revenge. Gwen said she did everything she could to separate her from Xander. Gwen said Sarah won in the end and got what she wanted. Sarah apologized to her. Sarah said she saw the bitterness in her eyes. She said Gwen wasn’t sorry. She warned Gwen to stay away from Xander.
When Sarah left, Leo went to see Gwen. Gwen remembered that Jennifer was the one who hit her. Gwen wondered if Jennifer did it on purpose. Leo said Jennifer did it on purpose. He said they were going to expose Jennifer. She wanted to know what he was talking about. He said they were going to blackmail Jennifer and make money. Xander ran into Jack at the pub. Jack was looking t the police report about Gwen’s accident. Xander asked if there were any leads on what happened to Gwen. Jack said there weren’t any leads. Jack told him he thought Jennifer was the one who hit Gwen. Jack told him about what has been going on with Jennifer. Xander said he was doing the best he could. Jack said he wasn’t sure if Jennifer would remember what happened. He said he didn’t know how to tell her the news. He said he had to find out if she did it or not. Xander said he wouldn’t say anything. Jack said he had to get home to find out what was going on. When Jack went home, he saw Leo there. Jack wanted to know why Leo was at his house. Leo said he had to get out his checkbook. Jennifer went to see Gwen. Gwen asked if she was trying to finish her off.

Abby tells Chance that she doesn’t want Tucker anywhere near Dominic because Tucker could hurt him. Chance thinks Abby is overreacting and tells her she should focus on the present not the past. Abby is upset because she feels Chance is dismissing her concerns. Chance has to leave for work and Abby feels like he is putting his work ahead of his family. Abby later talks to Devon who tells her that he would like to have a relationship with Tucker but he doesn’t trust him yet because he feels Tucker returned to Genoa City with an agenda.
Johnny tells Billy that he doesn’t want anything to change in his life and he doesn’t want to talk about Chelsea being his biological mother again. Billy later talks to Victoria about his conversation with Johnny and she tells Billy they should all stay away from Chelsea until she gets her act together and stops using Johnny as a crutch.
Chance sees Chelsea in the park and invites her for coffee at Crimson Lights. Chelsea arrives at Crimson Lights with Chance and when she sees Adam there she gets upset because she thinks that Chance brought her there for an intervention since Sharon told her she needs to get back into therapy.
Noah tells Nikki that his former girlfriend Audra Charles is in town and she used to work for the company Wild Beauty when he met her in London

Portia tells Trina that Curtis was willing to mortgage the Savoy in case they needed to appeal her case. Portia tells Trina that Curtis loves her and that is why he wanted to keep her safe. Trina forgives Curtis but, asks him not to do anything regarding her without asking if she wants his help.
Elizabeth tells Terry that she thinks that she and her father were present when Finn’s wife Reiko died but she doesn’t want to talk to Finn about it until she can figure out what happened. Finn tells Elizabeth that he changed his medical specialty when his best friend Garrett was bitten by a snake and he was unable to, save him.
Dante tells Brook Lynn that there may be a chance that Chase may get his job back at the police department, but she should not tell him in case it doesn’t work out.
Esme tells Ryan she survived her fall from the parapet because she fell in the water and was saved by a Canadian fisherman. The fisherman paid for her to stay in a hostel until she recovered. Esme tells Ryan she has a new plan to destroy the Cassidine family. Esme tells Ryan she isn’t the hook attacker, but he doesn’t believe her.
Chase does a great job singing at the Savoy, although, he is nervous and tells Curtis he would rather be a cop. The bartender who testified to exonerate Trina at her trial signs his immunity deal but, while he is walking and taking on the phone he is attacked by the hook attacker.

Nick and Sally decide not to label their relationship and just keep enjoying wherever the relationship takes them. Noah asks Nick if he has considered how Summer will feel when she finds out he is dating Sally. Noah doesn’t want to tell Allie how he knows.
Allie asks Noah how he knows Audra Charles but after they talk more he tells Allie she was the woman he dated in London that was a toxic relationship for him.
Billy tells Abby that Tucker crashed Kyle and Summer’s vow renewal, and that Tucker wants to make amends with Ashley. Abby tells Billy that Tucker, will have to go through her first he wants to get to Ashley. Tucker goes to Chancellor-Winters to invite Devon to lunch so they can talk. Devon and Tucker have lunch at Society where Tucker tells Devon that after a lot of soul searching he has realized that he needs to live his life to the fullest and reconnect with family. Tucker wants to meet Dominic and Devon tells him that can be arranged, but he has to talk to Abby and Chance since he shares custody of Dominic with them. Abby sees Devon and Tucker talking and tells Tucker to stay away from Ashley and Dominic.
Chelsea talks to Sharon about the situation with Connor and Johnny, and Sharon tells her she needs help right away.

Carly and Drew give an interview to the local news in Jacksonville to make peop aware that the cemetery where her adoptive mother Virginia is buried is going to be turned into an access road to the beach. The reporter later calls Drew and Carly to tell them that a rival tv station also has the story. Carly considers changing her last name and not using the name Corinthos anymore.
Michael doesn’t want Dex involved in his plan to take down Sonny because Sonny almost had him killed. Dex persuades Michael to let him finish the job but Dex has to stay away from Josslyn. Michael tells Dex he doesn’t want Josslyn caught in the middle of his plan so Dex agrees not to see Jocelyn anymore.
Nina sees TJ and Willow hugging after she found out that her leukemia is getting worse. Nina tells Willow she saw her hugging TJ and the hospital rumor mill could start talking.
Esme continued to hide in the bushes outside Kelly’s and finds out Diane identified her attacker as a woman. Esme later goes to Spring Ridge to see Ryan who has been worried about her.

Adam is upset with Chelsea because she told Connor that Johnny is his biological half-brother, by herself, when they had agreed that they would both be with Connor when they told him. Adam also wonders why Chelsea felt she had to tell the boys the truth now when Johnny hadn’t been asking questions about his biological mother. Adam asks Chelsea to please not make any important decisions about Connor without letting him know.
Nick walks into Crimson Lights and tells Adam and Chelsea they shouldn’t be arguing about such personal issues in a public place. Adam tells Nick he regrets breaking up with Sally because he loves her and wants her back in his life. Adam asks Nick to let Sally go and give him a chance to work things out with her. Nick meets Sally at the grand opening of the Glam club and it doesn’t look like he has any intention of letting Sally go so she and Adam can work things out between them.
Diane hides in the bathroom while Victor and Tucker have a talk and catch up on things. Tucker tells Victor he wants to build a relationship with Devon and meet his grandson Dominic. Tucker also wants to make amends with Ashley and show her that he has changed. Victor tells Tucker to stay away from Ashley because she doesn’t need him in her life. Tucker tells Diane that the only thing she has to do is tell him when Ashley returns from Paris and she won’t have to be his spy anymore.
Nikki tells Phyllis that Victor’s investigators confirmed that the Bentley Tucker gave Kyle and Summer is the same Bentley Diane was being Chauffeured around in when she lived in Los Angeles. Nikki also tells Phyllis that the Bentley is registered to a foundation called Wild Beauty which helps up and coming young artists in the UK. Nikki and Phyllis think Tucker funds the foundation since beauty was the nickname John Abbott called Ashley since she was little. Nikki decides to ask Noah if he knows anything about the foundation since he worked in London as an artist and has contacts in the art world.
Audra Charles arrives to the grand opening of the Glam club and tells Noah it has been a long time since she has seen him.

Carly and Drew go to the site of Reese’s car crash and Drew helps Carly realize that the car accident was not her fault and she should let go of the guilt she has felt all these years.
Ava visits Ryan at Spring Ridge and tells him that Esme has disappeared and that she, Brando, and Diane were attacked by someone with a hook and Brando died.
Valentin wants Michael to return to work at ELQ but they never finish their conversation because Josslyn interrupts and tells Michael she thinks Sonny is holding Dex hostage in his restaurant.
Diane awakens and tells Dante, Robert, and Sonny that her attacker was a woman who wore bracelets that jinglled but she didn’t see her face because she was wearing a black hoodie or a cape and Diane is frustrated because she can’t remember the face of the woman.
Michael and Josslyn rescue Dex who is hanging on a meat hook in the freezer. Sonny’s man won’t let Michael and Josslyn leave with Dex until Sonny arrives to give the okay. Sonny arrives and is surprised to see Michael and Josslyn have gotten Dex out of the freezer.
Victor tells Nikolas he must divorce Ava or he will be killed. Nikolas agrees to divorce Ava and the audience sees Esme hiding in the bushes wearing a black hoodie.

Elena tells Devon that the reason she and Nate are taking a break from their relationship is because Nate has become power hungry and is determined to prove himself to him and Lily. Devon talks to Nate later and Nate explains that Elena thought his career change was temporary, and that once he got tired of it he would return to being a doctor.
Esther accepts Devon’s job offer to be the receptionist for Chancellor Winters and tells him that his grandmother Katherine would be very proud of him.
Victoria tells Nate that Tucker Mcall (now played by Trevor St. John) is back in town and she thinks he might want to buy Chancellor Winters stock when the company goes public. Victoria asks Nate to find out if Devon is working with Tucker or if Devon knows Tucker is back in town. Diane tells Tucker that she doesn’t want to spy for him anymore but he says he still needs her to spy for him.
Nick and Victoria tell Victor Tucker was an unwelcome guest at Kyle and Summer’s vow renewal so Victor heads to the Grand Phoenix to have a talk with Tucker but, when Victor arrives, Diane is in Tucker’s hotel room because they are still talking about what he needs her to do.

Rex arrived in Salem to see his mother. He and Roman talked about what happened to Kate, Kayla and Marlena. Rex had a feeling that what happened to them was man made and created in a lab. Roman thought Rolf could have helped Orpheus with the pathogen. Rex reminded him when he was sick in South America years ago. He wondered if they had the same illness that he had back then. Kate thought it was possible since Orpheus’ vendetta started with Roman. Rex left so he could compare Roman’s medical records with the women’s records. Stephanie ran into Steve and got upset that he didn’t tell her about Kayla. She was mad that she had to hear it from Eric. He didn’t want to tell her when they had a better way to handle it. He told her they were waiting for the labs to come back. He told her that Orpheus was behind what happened. They went to Kayla’s room to check on her. Kayla wanted to check on Marlena, but Steve stopped her from going. Stephanie wanted to tell Joey and Tripp about Kayla. Kayla didn’t want them to come home. Stephanie didn’t think she could stop them from coming. Kayla asked her to put a positive spin on her condition. Stephanie tried to downplay what was going on with Kayla when she called Joey.
John prayed for Marlena, Kayla and Kate at the chapel when Brady showed up. He let him know that Belle and Eric were with Marlena. He said he wanted to help Marlena, but there was nothing he could do. Brady tried to comfort John. Brady did give him good news. He told him that he got custody of Rachel thanks to Chloe. John and Brady ran into Steve and they talked about how frustrating it was that they couldn’t help the women. Steve thought someone would be able to help them soon. Stefan went to see Chloe. She reminded him that she was in love with Brady. Stefan wanted to wish her a happy birthday. He wondered about her plans and she let him know that she didn’t have any. He was shocked no one remembered her birthday. She said no one remembered it. He was happy that he was the only one who remembered. She knew Brady her family were dealing with a lot. Rolf was working on an important project when Kristen walked in the room. She wanted him to do something to Chloe. He wanted her to leave. She wanted him to kidnap Chloe and take her love for Brady away. Rolf didn’t want to go back to prison so he decided to listen to her. he was working on the toxin Orpheus unleashed. He said if anything happened with Marlena, Kayla and Kate, he would be blamed for it.

Julie found Jack with Doug’s pill bottle. She said they never refilled the bottle, but he said Jennifer did. Jennifer told Abby that she would make anyone who hurt her pay. Clyde told Chad he was going to be with Abby while he was strangling him. EJ ended up shooting Clyde in the back. EJ asked if Chad was alright. Chad said for him to tell him that Clyde was dead. EJ kicked Clyde. Chad said it was too bad he was still kicking. EJ asked Clyde how it felt to be the one eating up the grass. EJ asked how it felt. Chad asked how it felt to be close to dying and there was nothing he could do about it. Chad and EJ said they were going to enjoy it. Chad said Abby was still clinging to life when he found her. He said she was agonizing until her last breath. He said Clyde was going to know that feeling. He said Abby was with someone she loved before she died, but Clyde wouldn’t be. Shawn and Belle went to the cemetery. Rafe found Gwen passed out on the ground. Clyde asked Chad and EJ to call for help. Chad told him he had to speak up. Clyde said they couldn’t let him die. Chad asked if EJ heard something. EJ said he didn’t. Chad said it must have been the wind. Jack looked around the house for Jennifer. Julie said he wasn’t there. He asked if she noticed Jennifer’s attitude. Julie said Jennifer was grieving. He wanted to go look for Jennifer, but she came home. He said he was calling her. She said her phone was turned off. He asked where she was. Rafe told Gwen that she was going to make it. Rafe called for help. Shawn and Belle showed up while EJ and Chad were waiting for Clyde to die. Shawn called for help. When Shawn got off the phone, he asked what happened. Belle told EJ not to say anything. Chad said he didn’t need a lawyer because he had nothing to hide. Jack asked Jennifer why she went out when she said she wasn’t feeling well. Jennifer said she saw Abby. He said it wasn’t possible. She said she knew. She said she wanted to see Clyde. Julie wanted to know why she wanted to see Clyde. Jack told her Clyde might have been the one who killed Abby. Jennifer said she wanted to go to the police station to see Clyde. She asked if Clyde was arrested. She said he had to pay for what he did. Jack said they had to deal with something first. She asked what. He showed her the pill bottle.
Chad and Shawn were at the police station. Chad told Shawn how he got the gun. Chad told him that Clyde confessed to killing Abby. He said Clyde wasn’t going to kill Abby. He said he wanted to kill Belle. Belle showed up while Chad was talking. Shawn wanted to know why Clyde wanted to kill Belle. EJ showed up and heard the conversation. Chad said Clyde wanted to kill her because he thought she knew too much about what he did to EJ. Belle apologized. Shawn asked if he got Clyde to confess. Chad said he went after Clyde. EJ said he showed up and shot Clyde. Belle said EJ didn’t have a choice but to shoot Clyde. Shawn wanted to talk to Clyde to get his side of the story. Jennifer asked Jack what the pill bottle was, He said it was a prescription bottle. Jennifer said it was Doug’s. Julie said Doug hasn’t refilled the bottle. Jennifer asked what she was accusing her of. He said she had a pill addiction before. She said that was years ago. He wanted to know if she was addicted to pills. Xander and Sarah were at the hospital when Gwen was brought there. Xander asked what happened. Rafe told her he found Gwen unconscious at the police station. Xander asked if Jack knew. Rafe called Jack and told him about Gwen. Jennifer wanted to know where Jack was. Julie said he had to go because he got a call about Gwen. Jennifer said she hoped Gwen was okay. Sarah told Xander and Rafe that Gwen was okay. Rafe wanted to know if he could question Gwen. Sarah said Gwen was sedated. Xander wanted to sit with her because Jack wouldn’t want her to be alone. EJ told Belle that he apologized for putting her in danger. Belle said he had no way of knowing that Clyde was listening. She said he had no reason to apologize. Shawn went to the hospital and told Rafe that Chad shot Clyde. Jack showed up at the hospital to check on Gwen. Shawn told Jack that Chad shot Clyde. Jack asked if Clyde was dead. They told him that he wasn’t dead. Jack wanted to know what room Clyde was in. They told him to be with Gwen. Jack still wanted to see Clyde. Jack asked Clyde why he killed his daughter. EJ told Chad that he should have stopped Clyde sooner. He said he failed Chad, Abby and the kids. He said he failed the family. He said he could never forgive himself. He apologized to Chad. Chad thanked him for coming to his rescue and for saving his life. Clyde told Jack that he never touched Abby. Jack said he should have known he wouldn’t have admitted to what he did. Clyde said he shouldn’t talk without a lawyer. Jack ripped into him for what he did to Abby. Clyde said he was better off without her. He said she was beautiful. He said she wasn’t an angel because she cheated on his son. Xander told Gwen that Jack was on his way to see her. He told her Jack would be there. She opened her eyes and wondered where she was. Sarah told her she was in the hospital. Rafe came in to question Gwen. Julie asked Jennifer how long she has been taking pills. Jennifer said it was a few weeks. Julie asked why she didn’t say anything. Jennifer said she didn’t want to be judged. Julie said she wouldn’t have been judged. Jennifer said she told Maggie about it. She said Maggie took her to a meeting and made her throw out the pills. She said she got the pills and started taking them. Julie told her that she had to be there for Abby’s kids because they were going to need her for a long time. Rafe asked Gwen if she was ready to answer some questions. She said her head was starting to clear. Jack showed up in her room. She thanked him for coming. Gwen said she saw a car that was coming towards her. Rafe asked if she saw the driver. She said she didn’t see the driver. She said the lights blinded her. She asked who could do that to someone outside of a police station. Jack thought about Jennifer saying she went to the police station.

Stefan and EJ talked about him taking Clyde down. Stefan was grateful to him for bring Clyde to justice. Stefan thought he loved Abby, but he realized he was obsessed with her. He didn’t know what love was until he found Chloe. He was upset that Gabi got in the way of that. EJ was glad he was on the same page as him about getting her out of DiMera. Stefan didn’t think he had enough shares to have the majority vote. He said Shin could restore Ava’s vote so they had to get someone to switch sides. EJ wanted to get Johnny. EJ asked if Stefan knew why Rolf kept him alive. Stefan didn’t know why he kept him alive. They talked about Kristen’s involvement. Stefan wasn’t sure who else was involved. EJ got a message that Stefan’s shares were up for taking. Li went to see Chloe. He told her that he was worried about her because of what happened with her mother. He mentioned Stefan and Gabi. He wanted to know how she felt about Stefan being back. She told him that she was with Brady. She told him that Stefan cheated on her with Gabi. She told him that he wouldn’t be able to keep Stefan away from Gabi. Nancy went to visit Clyde in the hospital. She wanted to know if anything about their relationship was real. She wanted to know if he ever loved her. He said he wanted to be a better man for her. He wished he didn’t hurt her. He wanted to know if she could forgive him. She told him to get forgiveness from the families he hurt. She said she would pray for him.
Chad went to Abby’s headstone to bring him flowers. He wanted to talk to her and didn’t know what to say. Abby appeared and talked to him. She wanted to know how he felt about finding her killer. Chad started crying. He thought he would feel relieved, but he felt empty. He wasn’t sure what he was living for. She let him know that he almost died. She wanted to know if that’s what he wanted. He said he did because he would get to be with her. She didn’t want him to make a choice like that. He didn’t know how he could go on. She grabbed his hand and told him to remember why he has to go on with his life. She wanted him to be there for Thomas and Charlotte. Abby wished they could have made more memories together. He told her there would never be anyone else. She knew he wouldn’t feel that way forever. She knew that he wouldn’t stop loving her just like she wouldn’t stop loving him. They said goodbye to each other.

Elizabeth asks Gregory how well he knew Film’s wife Reiko.
Victor visits Spencer and finds him with a bruised face. Spencer explains to his uncle that the Bentonville prisoners are beating him up because they know that his rich relatives are paying guards to protect him. Spencer tells his uncle not to protect him, that he will just keep his head down and stay out of the way. Spencer gets punched by a prisoner in the prison library because he refused to pick up a book the man dropped on the floor.

Devon tells Lily that he is worried about Nate and Elena’s relationship because when he spoke to Elena earlier he found out she was staying at a hotel. Devon explains to Lily that Elena was Nate’s voice of reason and without her he might be inclined to more risky behavior when it comes to Chancellor Winters. Lily doesn’t think Nate and Elena’s relationship is any of their business.
Nikki tells Victor that Deacon saw Diane being chauffeured around in a Bentley sometimes with a man in the car. Nikki shows Victor a picture Deacon gave her with a partial license plate of the Bentley and she says she found out the car is owned by an and entertainment company.
The mystery man in Diane’s hotel room reminds her they had an agreement and she hasn’t kept her part of their deal. The man wants to go to Kyle and Summer’s vow renewal because he thinks it would be the perfect time to reveal his identity to the Abbott family. Diane persuades him that now isn’t the right time to do that and later the man looks at pictures of the Abbotts on his phone.
The vow renewal begins with Summer wearing a beautiful dress and Harrison walking her down the aisle. Noah, Mariah, and Tessa officiate the ceremony together and they welcome the guests to the ceremony.
