Chanel questions Paulina about Sloan trashing her office and says she thought this nightmare was finally over. Chanel asks how they are ever supposed to be safe with Sloan continuing to come after them. Chanel asks if the police are going to take care of Sloan. Paulina responds that they better because if they don’t, she will.

Eric asks Rafe what has happened. Rafe says it doesn’t concern him. Sloan asks what it does concern. Jada says they will fill her in at the station. Sloan refuses to go anywhere unless they tell her what they are bringing her in for. Rafe informs Sloan that she has been accused by Paulina of breaking her in to her office and trashing the place. Sloan laughs off the idea of vandalism. Rafe asks if Sloan will come quietly or if they will have to arrest her here in her boyfriend’s restaurant.

EJ tells Li that he can’t be totally shocked that his wife is being unfaithful. Li asks why he’s so sure that Gabi and Stefan are together. EJ calls it the truth that Gabi is making a cuckold of him. Li asks if EJ has proof that Gabi lied about her business dinner with Nicole. EJ hands Li a keycard to the Salem Inn and instructs him to go to room 312 where he will find his wife in his brother’s bed.

Gabi and Stefan kiss in the room at the Salem Inn until Stefan stops and says something doesn’t feel right. Gabi thought he wanted this as much as she does. Stefan assures that he does so Gabi questions him hesitating and what the problem is. Gabi says they are about to make love for the first time in four years and points out that EJ and Nicole made this happen for them so she questions wasting this opportunity. Gabi kisses Stefan again until Stefan stops and says they can’t because they are being set up. Gabi questions what he means. Stefan explains that EJ and Nicole didn’t do this out of the goodness of their heart, but as part of a plan. Gabi asks how he knows that. Stefan says he’s been suspicious ever since they came up with the idea. Gabi admits she was too but Nicole swore that they were just doing this to help them. Stefan questions her not finding it odd that EJ has done everything in his power to keep them apart, but now suddenly does a 180. Gabi admits it does sound odd now that she thinks about it. Stefan believes that EJ wants Li to catch them together.

EJ questions what Li is waiting for when he holds the literal key to catching Gabi and reclaiming his shares. Li responds that Gabi is his wife. EJ says that’s in name only while her heart and soul belongs to Stefan, and as they speak, her body does as well. Li questions if EJ is enjoying this. EJ claims he’s just trying to be a friend and asks where his dignity is. Li questions if it would be dignified to go catch Gabi in the act. EJ warns that if he doesn’t, Gabi will walk away from his marriage with Stefan and a considerable block of DiMera shares. EJ doesn’t think even Li would allow that to happen. Li takes the key card so EJ says he knew he would come to his senses.

Sloan calls this outrageous that Paulina used her wealth and position to cover up Chanel murdering her mother and now she’s being brought in for questioning. Rafe points out that one has nothing to do with the other. Sloan questions being accused based on Paulina’s word. Rafe says they aren’t accusing her of anything yet. Eric asks about them bringing her in for questioning. Jada says they just want to ask her a few questions on the record and not do it the hard way. Eric offers to go with Sloan but she says she can handle it herself. Sloan tells Eric that she will text him when this farce is over as she kisses him.

Nicole walks past the Brady Pub and calls EJ, leaving him a message that everything is set up and Stefan and Gabi are where they are supposed to be. Nicole notes that Gabi didn’t trust her at first but in the end it all worked out. Nicole says to let her know how it goes with Li and hangs up. Jada and Rafe then walk out of the Pub with Sloan. Nicole excitedly asks if they are arresting her. Rafe tells Nicole to stay out of it. Nicole comments that you got to love it when a lawyer needs a lawyer. Nicole questions what Sloan is being brought in for. Jada threatens Nicole about getting in the way of a police investigation. Nicole says she won’t get in the way and mocks Sloan’s hair extensions. Sloan tells Nicole to go to Hell as Jada escorts Sloan away and Rafe follows. Nicole remarks that this night just keeps getting better and better.

Chanel argues that the last thing she wants is for Paulina to get in any more trouble because of Sloan. Paulina complains that Sloan started all this by accusing Chanel of murder and trying to ruin their lives because she couldn’t face the truth. Chanel tells Paulina to just let the police deal with Sloan. Paulina says that sometimes you have to take things in to your own hands. Talia agrees with Chanel and assures that her sister Jada and Rafe will take care of Sloan. Paulina argues that she doesn’t know that. Paulina then starts having chest pains and says she needs to sit down. Chanel begins to worry as Talia notes that she doesn’t look so well. Chanel questions what is happening. Paulina responds that she thinks she’s having a heart attack. Chanel says she’s calling an ambulance but can’t find her phone. Talia checks Paulina’s pulse and notes it’s elevating. Talia asks Paulina about her symptoms. Paulina mentions having trouble breathing. Chanel worries that they need to get her to the hospital. Talia tells her to hold on. Talia asks Paulina more about her symptoms while Chanel questions what is going on. Talia wants to try something and has Paulina close her eyes and breathe. Chanel questions what she’s doing while Talia assures that she’s got this. Talia tells Chanel to try it too. Paulina admits she feels much better. Chanel asks Talia what’s going on. Talia doesn’t think Paulina was having a heart attack and suggests it was a panic attack. Paulina says she’s never had one before and questions how Talia knows about this. Chanel reveals that Talia is a doctor which she confirms. Paulina is surprised and asks why the hell Talia quit medicine to work at a bakery.

Eric calls Justin and leaves a message to call him back as soon as he can as he has a friend who needs a good attorney. Eric hangs up as Nicole enters the Pub. Eric questions if she has something to say. Nicole remarks that it’s romantic that he’s hiring a lawyer for his gal pal. Nicole asks how Eric feels about sleeping with a criminal. Eric argues that she’s not a criminal and didn’t do it. Nicole asks what it is and why their exes hauled his new bed buddy down to the station. Eric tells Nicole that it’s none of her business and remarks that if he had a problem sleeping with a criminal, he never would’ve shared his bed with Nicole because she has a rap sheet just as long as her boyfriend EJ’s.

EJ listens to Nicole’s voicemail after leaving the apartment. EJ remarks that he hopes Stefan enjoys his time with Gabi because it won’t be long before her husband arrives to catch them in the act.

Stefan tells Gabi that if Li busts in and catches them in the act, then Gabi will forfeit her DiMera shares and EJ won’t have to worry about them teaming up to take back the company. Gabi asks if he’s not being paranoid. Stefan says he wouldn’t put anything past EJ and mentions Nicole being quite a schemer back in the day. Gabi can’t believe she didn’t see through Nicole pretending to be her friend and guesses she just wanted to believe so bad that this was real. Stefan assures that they are real but Nicole and EJ are not their friends. Gabi can’t believe they would play with their lives like this and says they are going to pay. Stefan says he’s sorry as there’s nothing he wanted more than to spend the night with her in bed. Gabi suggests maybe they can have a quickie since something is better than nothing. Stefan hates to say no but says they can’t risk it because there’s too much at stake. Gabi agrees. Stefan promises they will find a way to be together. Gabi asks what they do now. Stefan responds that he has an idea.

Talia brings a latte for Chanel and a calming tea for Paulina. Paulina credits Talia for saving her life and admits she’s feeling better. Paulina hopes she doesn’t mind her prying about her career change. Talia admits it’s a radical change to jump from medicine to a bakery. Paulina calls it a substantial pay cut as well. Talia knows a lot of people would think it’s crazy but says she needed a change. Paulina wonders how her parents felt. Talia admits there was an adjustment period since her mother loved calling her a doctor but in the end, she wanted to see her happy. Paulina asks if she is happy. Talia says she mostly is. Paulina is glad that she remembered all her skills when it came to stopping her panic attack. Talia is happy to help but still wants her to follow up with her physician. Talia suggests a therapist as well since it seems she’s under a lot of stress lately. Paulina states that all her anxiety will melt away when Sloan is behind bars.

Rafe and Jada bring Sloan to the interrogation room where she denies having anything to do with the remodeling of Paulina’s tacky office. Melinda Trask walks in and questions what is going on in here. Sloan complains that Rafe and Jada are trying to railroad her for a crime she didn’t commit. Rafe states that they are just asking her a few questions. Melinda asks for a word with Rafe and exits the room. Rafe tells Jada to carry on and he’ll be right back as he exits. Melinda asks Rafe why he’s questioning a prominent defense attorney in her police station. Rafe informs her that she is a suspect in a crime because someone broke in to Paulina’s office and ransacked the place. Melinda asks what makes him suspect Sloan. Rafe points out that her animosity with Paulina is well documented. Rafe questions what the problem is. Melinda explains that Sloan has been a thorn in her side so if he sends this case to prosecute, it better be iron clad because she can’t be accused of using her office to go after a professional rival. Melinda gets a text and says she has somewhere to be. Melinda warns Rafe to not blow it this time as she then exits the station. Rafe goes back in to the interrogation room. Sloan guesses that Melinda told him to let her go. Rafe says he doesn’t take orders from the district attorney. Sloan points out that Melinda will be the one to try the flimsy case against her in court and she already humiliated her once, so she doubts that Melinda wants to go through that again. Jada asks if Sloan is all about winning or losing. Sloan asks what else is there. Jada calls it interesting that Sloan is 0 for 2 in going after Paulina and Chanel. Rafe points out that both her criminal and civil cases were thrown out, so that must have upset Sloan. Jada notes that would make her want to even the score. Sloan asks if their bad cop routine really works out for them and calls it boring. Sloan mocks that this is why criminals are running around Salem because they are in charge. Rafe asks where Sloan was last night. Sloan says she was home. Jada asks if she can verify that, because if not, it doesn’t count as an alibi. Rafe questions if Sloan was alone or if someone can vouch for the fact that she was home at the time Paulina’s office was broken in to.

Eric tells Nicole to save it as he doesn’t have the time or energy. Nicole says she doesn’t relish fighting with him, especially since he’s gotten so good at hitting below the belt. Eric responds that there’s only so much one can take before fighting back. Nicole argues that Eric used to preach turning the other cheek. Eric says that guy lost his calling, his baby, his mom, his aunt, his stepmom, and the woman he loved. Eric says after facing all that, there’s no cheek left to turn. EJ then enters the Pub and asks if he’s interrupting something.

Li goes to the Salem Inn, hoping that Gabi is not in the room. Li then enters Room 312 and finds Stefan in bed with who he believes is Gabi. Li screams at Stefan about being with another man’s wife and expresses his outrage at Gabi to come out and face him, but Li is shocked when it’s revealed to be Melinda that was in bed with Stefan! Li says he doesn’t understand while Stefan points out that he’s the one who burst in the room. Melinda asks how Li got in anyway. Li questions if the people of Salem know that Melinda is sleeping with a member of the DiMera crime family. Stefan laughs at that while Melinda says what she does off the clock is her business and he is the last person to be casting stones, since he used the DiMera’s mad scientist to brainwash a man away from his wife. Stefan adds that Li still hasn’t explained why he walked in screaming at Gabi and questions why he thought his wife would be in here. Stefan reminds Li that he’s responsible for keeping them apart. Melinda still wonders how Li got a copy of the room key and suggests looking in to that when she’s back on the clock. Melinda tells Li that until then, she’d like to get back to enjoying her evening. They question Li just standing there. Li remarks that he didn’t even know they knew each other. Melinda claims she’s had her eye on Stefan for quite some time, then they bumped in to each other and sparks flew. Melinda says a woman has needs and she’s a sucker for a powerful man. Stefan tells Li that he’s made it impossible for he and Gabi to reunite, so he figured he might as well move on. Melinda threatens to throw Li out, so he agrees to leave and then exits the room. Melinda tells Stefan that he’s welcome.

Rafe tells Sloan that they don’t have all night and questions if anyone can confirm her alibi or not. Sloan states that she was at home alone. Jada points out there’s no alibi. Sloan is sorry that she doesn’t have a witness to being in her apartment but points out that they don’t have any evidence. Sloan says there’s no fingerprints or DNA because she wasn’t there and didn’t vandalize Paulina’s office. Jada brings up Sloan vandalizing the bakery before. Sloan argues that they have no proof of her committing any crime so Rafe agrees that she’s free to go. Sloan thanks them for wasting her time. Rafe warns Sloan that if she is harassing Paulina and Chanel, it ends now as she is on their radar and they will be watching her every move. Jada adds that if Sloan even cuts off Paulina or Chanel in traffic, she will be back here. Rafe says next time, they’ll press charges. Sloan calls this harassment so they better hope there’s not a next time. Sloan warns that if they continue to use the station to harass her on behalf of Abe, then she will make it her life’s mission to make sure they can’t even work security at the Salem mall. Sloan then exits the room.

Talia tells Paulina that in her experience, once panic attacks start, they don’t usually go away on their own. Paulina talks about going through an abusive husband, giving up her first child, and any other trauma, so she can get through this. Chanel tells Paulina that she doesn’t have to act tough. Paulina assures that she’ll deal with it and she’s fine. Talia encourages her not to think she has to be strong all the time. Chanel says she will make sure that Paulina follows up even if she has to make the appointment and drive her, herself.

Eric questions if there’s a reason why EJ and Nicole keep showing up in his family’s restaurant. EJ asks if that’s any way to treat paying customers. Eric doesn’t care as sometimes the customers aren’t worth the trouble. Eric then gets a text from Sloan that she’s out and tells him to come over. Eric then says he has somewhere to be. EJ questions him not taking their order and sarcastically claims he came for clam chowder. Eric says he’ll send over one of his servers and tells them to leave a nice tip as he storms out of the Pub. EJ doesn’t think he’s sending over a server and asks Nicole what he missed. Nicole calls it nothing important and asks if he heard from Li. EJ says not yet but he thinks he’s licking his wounds after finding Stefan on top of Gabi. EJ adds that now that Li is reclaiming his shares from Gabi, she will never be a threat to his reign at DiMera again.

Li returns home to find Gabi watching TV. Gabi asks him what’s the matter as he seems surprised to see her. Gabi asks if he’s okay as he looks like he’s seen a ghost. Li says he just wasn’t expecting to see her and figured she’d still be out with Nicole. Li asks about her business dinner. Gabi says that Nicole had no intention of discussing potential fashion partnerships and that the whole thing was a setup.

Stefan thinks back to sneaking Gabi out of the room and telling her about the plan with Melinda. Stefan thanks Melinda again for doing this. Melinda calls it kind of fun and says it reminded her of being in theater in school. Melinda says anything to help bring down EJ as he deserves to suffer after helping Kristen evade justice. Stefan acknowledges that his family really does make her life more difficult. Melinda doesn’t know how he stands them. Melinda talks about his brother pretending to want to help him and Gabi be together, only to set him up. Stefan jokes that’s how the DiMeras roll. Melinda notes that Gabi is not her favorite person in the world but that’s just vile. Stefan agrees and says thanks to her, EJ was the big loser tonight. Stefan wishes he could be there when EJ realizes they got the better of him.

EJ and Nicole have dinner at the Pub. EJ toasts to Stefan and Gabi’s reunion solidifying his hold on DiMera for generations to come.

Paulina finishes a call with Rafe, angrily thanking him for nothing. Chanel asks what happened. Paulina informs her that Rafe and Jada let Sloan walk right out of the police station with no charges, so she’s free to terrorize them. Chanel urges her to stay calm so she doesn’t have another panic attack. Talia agrees and reminds Paulina to breathe. Paulina says she’s going to grab a few things in her office. Chanel offers to drive her but Paulina insists that she’s fine and has a driver. Paulina thanks Talia for all her help and tells them to have a nice evening as she walks away.

Eric goes to Sloan’s apartment and asks if she’s okay and what happened at the station. Sloan calls it a complete waste of her time and that she pointed out that they had no evidence, so they had to let her go. Eric asks if they believe she didn’t do it. Sloan thinks they still believe she’s guilty. Eric then asks if she is guilty of doing it.

Gabi informs Li that Nicole took her out, tried to act all friendly, and even said she would sneak her in to the Salem Inn for a secret rendezvous with Stefan. Gabi claims that she refused and said she was married to Li. Gabi adds that she believes Nicole is working with EJ and hoping that she would take the bait, so they could catch her cheating and rat her out to Li. Gabi claims she would not risk all his DiMera shares for some roll in the hay. Li questions if she wasn’t tempted. Gabi claims that she is his committed and faithful wife until the end of their agreed term. Gabi decides she is heading to bed and says she’ll see him in the morning.

Melinda tells Stefan that she better get going and adds that Gabi owes her one. Stefan says they both do. Melinda adds that she intends on calling it in the second they are in control of DiMera. Stefan asks what she’s looking for. Melinda suggests a seat on the board or a sizable donation to her fund in her daughter’s honor. Stefan tells her that whatever she wants is hers. Melinda warns him to be careful what he offers and jokes that she wasn’t lying when she said she had her eye on him for some time. Stefan calls that flattering but says he belongs to Gabi. Melinda hopes she knows how lucky she is. Stefan feels he’s the lucky one. Melinda brings up that Gabi is kind of a trainwreck at relationships, so if things don’t work out for them, he knows where to find her. Melinda then exits the room.

Nicole tells EJ that when Li bursts in, Stefan has to know that they set him up, so he won’t be happy with them but EJ is his brother. EJ argues that he’ll get over it and he’s willing to sacrifice their brotherly bond to make sure Gabi never gets her fingers on anything else of his. EJ asks if Nicole is going to tell him why Eric had his knickers in a twist earlier. Nicole responds that it’s no surprise but it turns out Sloan is as crooked as her clients.

Sloan questions Eric thinking she trashed Paulina’s office. Eric argues that he’s not saying she did it with her own hands but she could’ve hired someone to do it. Sloan calls him unbelievable. Eric says he’s not judging her but when he thinks about those responsible for taking away his mother, there’s no telling how much he wants them to suffer. Sloan assures Eric that she didn’t trash Paulina’s office, she didn’t pay someone to do it, and she’s innocent. Eric says he believes her and hugs her.

Jada goes over papers at her desk. Rafe suggests she go on home. Jada says she will but she was going over papers from Paulina’s file. Jada really wanted to find something to nail Sloan. Rafe says she should’ve heard Paulina on the phone when he told her they had to release Sloan. Jada encourages that they will get her next time. Rafe asks if Jada has big plans tonight. Jada jokes about going home and having leftover pizza and chicken. Rafe jokes about doing the same but with pop tarts. They say goodnight to each other as Jada then leaves the station.

Chanel thanks Talia for being so good with her mom earlier. Talia acknowledges that Paulina doesn’t like listening. Chanel says she did gain their trust. Talia is just glad Paulina is okay and notes Chanel worrying about her. Chanel says she can tell this mess with Sloan is really starting to get to Paulina, so she doesn’t know how much more she can take.

Paulina goes to her office and complains about the mess, saying only an animal would do something like this. Paulina finds an envelope that wasn’t there before. Paulina opens the envelope to find a paper with pasted on letters saying “This Isn’t Over Bitch”

Days of Our Lives Update

Chanel and Talia walk through the town square. Chanel asks how Talia liked her first day as a baker. Talia says she loved it and can’t wait to come back tomorrow. Chanel asks if she’s sure and acknowledges that she had to put the pressure on to see if she could handle it and she did. Chanel calls it a major relief because she had been falling further behind since Allie left. Talia assures she’ll be back tomorrow and they say goodnight. Talia then stops to ask Chanel why Sloan hates her so much.

Rafe goes to the police station and brings Jada a paper of home listings since she said Talia was looking for a place. Jada says he didn’t have to go through the trouble. Rafe notes that one of the workers moonlights as a realtor so it was no trouble. Jada acknowledges that he still went out of his way for her sister. Rafe responds that he actually did it for Jada since he can’t have his detectives being tired. Paulina arrives and questions them standing around shooting the breeze instead of getting Sloan off the streets.

Sloan goes to see Eric at the Brady Pub. Eric says he was going to call to check on her since her trial got thrown out. Sloan responds that if Paulina thinks she’s through with her and Chanel, she’s dreaming. Sloan declares that she will see those two bitches in Hell first.

Gabi comes home to find Li has set up a candle light dinner. Gabi questions what the hell he’s up to now. Li wants to celebrate her triumph. Gabi says he doesn’t have to lay it on so thick. Li encourages her handling the meeting and says they are dying to get in the Gabi Shin business. Gabi guesses it went pretty well. Li encourages that she’s on her way to her second fashion empire and toasts to his beautiful, talented wife.

Nicole joins EJ at the DiMera Mansion. EJ says he’s glad that she’s there and mentions getting word that Gabi is at her apartment with Li. Nicole tells EJ that she anonymously booked a room at the Salem Inn for Gabi and Stefan so everything is set up and they just have to show up. EJ assures they will, so all they need is for Li to catch them in the act. Stefan then walks in and questions who is getting caught in the act.

Chanel tells Talia that it would take awhile to explain why Sloan hates her. Talia apologizes as it’s none of her business but notes that Sloan threatened her today. Chanel doesn’t blame her for being curious and says that Sloan has hated her for a long time. Talia tells her to say no more but Chanel guesses she has to since Talia is going to be working for her and there’s no telling what Sloan will do. Chanel adds that she doesn’t want Talia to get hurt by this. Talia jokes that she’s just the help but realizes Chanel is serious.

Eric tells Sloan that after the civil suit was thrown out, she’s kind of running out of options. Sloan tells her that she’s just frustrated. Sloan says it’s not just about the lawsuit but about them and Eric’s gallery. Sloan complains that she was excited about taking over Sweet Bits and seeing Eric’s gallery there. Sloan says the money from the lawsuit could have renovated it but now it’s all out the window. Eric says it was more her idea than his. Sloan argues that Eric is a talented photographer and deserves it. Sloan can’t believe that Paulina and Chanel got off free while they got nothing. Eric tells her it’s okay and to stop worrying about it. Sloan says he knows her well enough to know that she doesn’t give up that easily and she’s not giving up on him.

Li gives Gabi a glass of champagne but Gabi feels he’s up to something. Li asks if he can’t just be happy for her. Gabi argues that he doesn’t do anything just for her and there’s always something in it for him, so she asks what it is.

EJ tells Stefan that they were just talking about the possibility of Li catching Stefan and Gabi in the act and claims it’s the last thing they want. Stefan questions why they seemed so happy talking about it then. Nicole says it’s because she came through with her promise to get Stefan and Gabi some alone time together. EJ warns that’s not guaranteed, so they will have to be discrete. Stefan questions that they are helping them out. Nicole explains that she took a room out at the Salem Inn under a false name. EJ assures it’s all taken care of while Nicole offers to go back and cancel the room if Stefan has any doubts. Nicole states that it’s up to him.

Paulina complains that she’s at the end of her rope. Rafe doesn’t understand because the judge threw Sloan’s case out so he thought this was over. Paulina asks where Shawn is since he knows everything. Rafe responds that Shawn is on a stakeout tonight while Jada notes that Shawn hasn’t said a word to her about Paulina or Sloan. Rafe notes that their detectives do not conduct private investigations. Paulina explains that she asked Shawn to be discrete and asks if they want to hear about the break-in at her office or Sloan’s crazy threats against them. Paulina wants Sloan to end up in a jail cell.

Chanel tells Talia about how she had an affair with a professor who turned out to be Sloan’s father. Chanel says she’s not proud of it and should’ve walked out when he first came on to her but she didn’t. Chanel adds that Sloan’s mother found out and messaged her while pretending to be him to get her to meet her on the roof. Chanel says once up there, she confronted her and threatened her and it all happened so fast. Chanel says she came at her, so she tried to push her away but she lost her balance, fell, and died. Chanel continues that Sloan is sure it wasn’t an accident and that she pushed her mother while her father made her think she’s right. Chanel adds that Sloan’s father ended up drinking himself to death but he left Sloan a letter, saying she pushed her mother off the roof. Chanel explains that Paulina came to her rescue and managed to get things kept quiet while the death of Sloan’s mother was ruled an accident. Chanel thought the whole thing was over until Sloan got her father’s letter and tried blackmailing her then having her sent back to London for a trial but it was too late for the charges, so she tried to sue her for wrongful death but the judge refused the case. Talia questions Sloan not getting the message. Chanel says she never will. Talia realizes now why Sloan acted that way this morning. Chanel acknowledges that she’s the bad guy in this situation as if she didn’t get involved with Sloan’s father, then her mother wouldn’t have died that way. Talia argues that he was the adult in the situation so she shouldn’t feel bad about any of this. Chanel responds that two people are dead and their psychopath daughter is obsessed with making her pay, so this isn’t going away anytime soon. Chanel adds that she understands if Talia is having second thoughts about taking this job. Talia assures that she’s not and says she spent the whole day baking which was the most refreshing and rewarding thing she’s felt in a long time. Talia assures she will be back tomorrow. Chanel says that’s great as she wipes tears from her eyes. Talia appreciates her honesty and says she just feels bad because she hasn’t been so honest with her.

Li tells Gabi that he’s being honest and is capable of being happy for her without trying to get something for himself. Li admits he hopes this opportunity changes how she feels about him but says he’s always pulling for her and he wants to watch her show the world her drive, intelligence, and creative talent. Li asks if Gabi is excited about the meeting as he is, even if he’s the one who made it happen.

Stefan complains about the Salem Inn being right off the town square where everyone goes, so he questions how they are supposed to get in there without being seen. Stefan asks if they are supposed to show up in the middle of the night or in disguise. Nicole assures the front desk has been taken care of while EJ adds that the room will be paid for by DiMera Enterprises. Nicole notes that Stefan and Gabi will have access to a back entrance if he’s interested. Stefan says it’s not Li that he’s worried about but Gabi has everything to lose and all she has to do is adhere to Li’s contract for five months and then his shares will belong to her. Nicole argues that five months is a long time to wait for a couple who have waited to be together as long as Stefan and Gabi have. Stefan says that may be true, but if Li catches them then Gabi gets nothing. EJ credits them having self control. Stefan asks if he’s trying to wear him down. EJ claims he wants to prove that he’s on his side now and knows that will be hard to prove after what he kept from him. EJ knows the time he spent under Dr. Rolf’s spell was time he lost with Gabi, so he wants to make that up to him. Stefan admits how badly he wants to take him up on it. EJ understands his objections to the plan and suggests trying to solve those problems. EJ tells Stefan that if he just says the word, Nicole will get in touch with Gabi to get her to the Salem Inn safely while they will figure out the most secure way for him to join her. EJ adds that no one will do anything until Stefan says the word. Stefan then tells them to go for it, so Nicole exits. EJ encourages that Stefan is doing the right thing. Stefan says he hopes so.

Sloan tells Eric that he should ask Roman about showing his pictures at the Pub and then he can sell directly to the customers which she has been seeing restaurants do. Eric says pricey restaurants do while his customers come for clam chowder. Eric adds that if he did that, Roman would have to be involved and then it wouldn’t be his gallery. Sloan remarks that the gallery’s not happening now anyway. Eric questions her worrying about him after the disappointment she’s had today. Sloan asks if Eric doesn’t know how much he means to her and how important he is. Sloan adds that if it wasn’t for him, she would spend 24 hours a day obsessing over Chanel and Paulina. Eric encourages her to try to let it go but Sloan says she can’t. Sloan knows that makes her complicated to deal with. Eric says he can do complicated as they kiss.

Rafe asks Paulina about finding her office trashed. Paulina explains that she called Shawn and told him to arrest Sloan. Rafe points out that there weren’t any witnesses. Paulina insists that she knows it was Sloan. Jada talks about not having any proof in order to charge her. Paulina questions the law protecting Sloan while leaving her and Chanel to fend for themselves. Jada repeats that they can’t press charges based on her theories. Paulina remembers that Talia was there when Sloan went off on Chanel this morning. Rafe says that gives them something to go on. Paulina argues that she can prove Sloan blackmailed her and tried to haul them in to court but neither one worked out for her, so she’s going rogue. Paulina says she’s scared of what Sloan will do next. Rafe asks if Sloan threatened her directly. Paulina states that she did and got in her face, saying she didn’t care what the court of law says. Paulina asks for their help and says she’s been trying to take care of Chanel but she’s afraid that Chanel is in more danger now than ever, so they need to step up now because she’s scared for her daughter’s life.

Talia reveals to Chanel that she’s a doctor which surprises her. Chanel questions why a doctor would want to work at a bakery. Talia explains that she became a doctor because her father was one and once she realized she was good at science, she wanted to follow in his footsteps because he was her hero. Talia talks about finishing med school and wondering why she wasn’t excited about what she was doing. Chanel notes her saying today was rewarding. Talia says she loves baking and felt like it was fate for her to apply. Chanel brings up that Talia listed working at a famous New York restaurant on her application. Talia admits she was not employed there so Chanel questions if she was conning her. Talia tries to explain but admits that she was not honest on her application. Talia then asks if that means she’s fired.

EJ encourages Stefan to trust Nicole because she’s thought of everything. Stefan responds that he’s thinking of Gabi. Stefan says he could be with Gabi for the first time in forever and now Dr. Rolf is out of his head, so he knows what he’s always wanted and he was this close to telling Gabi but she already signed Li’s papers. EJ tells Stefan that tonight is supposed to change all that as this is what he and Gabi deserve. Stefan asks what if Gabi hates the plan. EJ asks why she would. Stefan questions EJ thinking Gabi will automatically trust Nicole. EJ asks why not. Stefan reminds EJ that Nicole married Rafe and then dumped him and Gabi loves her brother, so she might throw Nicole out and then this whole idea would be dead in the water before it even begins.

Gabi admits to Li that she’s super stoked about this deal and that she fought it because it was Li’s idea. Gabi talks about not even realizing she wanted it until the executives were eating out of her hand and so excited. Gabi thanks Li for getting her in the room and giving her what she needed, so she is grateful, even if he had an ulterior motive. Nicole then shows up at the door and asks if it’s a bad time.

Paulina asks if Rafe and Jada are going to help her or not. Jada acknowledges that Paulina has a valid complaint but notes there’s not a lot of evidence. Paulina questions if they are turning her down. Rafe assures that they are not and there is no harm in bringing Sloan in for questioning. Rafe warns that Sloan better have some damn convincing answers.

Eric and Sloan look at listings for a space for Eric’s gallery. Eric turns down the first few so Sloan complains about him being a downer. Eric agrees to try to be more positive and asks if she’s feeling better. Sloan admits that she is.

Stefan doesn’t know why he agreed to do this and worries that Gabi will be suspicious the moment that Nicole shows up at her door. Stefan wants to give her a heads up but EJ warns that if Li is with Gabi when she gets his text, then the whole plan will go up in smoke. Stefan guesses he’d lose either way. EJ then reveals he anticipated this, so he presents Stefan with a burner phone so if Li sees any text, he won’t know it’s from him. Stefan acknowledges that he really did think of everything. EJ repeats that he’s on his side now and he wants this for him.

Li questions what Nicole is doing there. Nicole says she came to talk to Gabi and mentions hearing that she was pitching a new fashion line. Gabi remarks that word travels fast. Nicole claims she’s here to convince Gabi to come over to Basic Black instead. Gabi questions her wanting to go in to business with her. Li points out that Basic Black is owned by DiMera Enterprises, so he can’t see EJ just standing by while she cuts a deal with Gabi. Gabi agrees. Nicole states that EJ doesn’t have a say as she and Brady run Basic Black their way. Gabi says she would believe that if she didn’t know that she and EJ were having an affair. Nicole responds that she and EJ know how to separate business from their personal life. Nicole tells Gabi not to let her relationship with EJ make her miss out on a great opportunity. Nicole invites Gabi out for a drink so they can talk it over. Li tells Gabi not to be taken in and comments that it’s almost like Nicole heard about Gabi’s meeting and rushed over to avoid getting scooped. Li tells Nicole that she’s too late and that he’s familiar with Basic Black’s operating budget and knows they can’t match the offer. Nicole doesn’t believe Gabi already got a firm offer. Gabi gets a text from Stefan’s burner telling her to listen to Nicole. Li questions what the text was but Gabi claims it was nothing important. Gabi decides one drink will be quick and she wants to hear what Nicole has to say.

Chanel looks up the New York restaurant and asks Talia about some of the recipes. Talia confirms she knows some of them and then asks again if she’s fired. Chanel responds that she is too talented to let go and she’s got guts, so she’s stuck with her. Talia excitedly hugs her and thanks her. Paulina approaches and informs them that she just came from the police department because her office was trashed. Paulina warns Chanel to take Sloan’s threats seriously because she doesn’t care what the law says, so they have to be ready for anything.

Sloan tells Eric they have two possible locations to look at tomorrow. Eric asks if they are really doing this. Sloan confirms they are. Eric points out that it never would’ve crossed his mind to open a gallery if it wasn’t for her and admits he’s really excited. Sloan suggests they go back to her place to celebrate as they kiss. They get up to go but Rafe and Jada arrive at the Pub.

Li tells Gabi that he doesn’t like this and argues that he stuck his neck out to get her the meeting. Gabi questions what’s wrong with getting the best deal. Li asks about dinner. Gaib tells him to just keep it warm and they can have it later as she exits with Nicole. Li shuts the door in frustration. Gabi asks Nicole if this is not about a fashion deal. Nicole admits she’s here because of Stefan. Gabi mentions getting an anonymous text saying to listen to Nicole and questions what this is. Nicole says she will tell her everything in the car.

Stefan complains that this is taking forever. EJ then gets a text from Nicole that she has Gabi and they are on their way to the Salem Inn. Stefan says so is he then. Stefan asks what if Li is having him followed. EJ tells him not to worry about that as his people are better than Li’s and there’s a car out to pick him up so he won’t be in his car. EJ suggests waiting a little while until Nicole and Gabi get to the Inn and proposes a small toast. EJ pours them drinks and toasts to an eventful evening. Stefan toasts to EJ and Nicole, thanking them for making this happen. EJ says no thanks necessary as they take their drinks. Stefan then says he’s out of here so EJ wishes him luck as he exits. EJ remarks to himself that he’s afraid Stefan’s luck has just run out.

Chanel cannot believe Sloan trashed Paulina’s office. Paulina complains that Sloan is off the rails and she had a hard time convincing Jada and Rafe of that, but she finally got them to see the light. Paulina argues that Sloan went through her office, looking for something to use against them. Chanel asks what Rafe is going to do. Paulina says he’s going to bring her in for questioning. Paulina tells Talia that if Jada winds up putting Sloan in a cell, she can throw away the key.

Sloan says they were just leaving but Jada says they will have to make other plans. Eric asks if this is about what happened with Stefan as he thought they were done when he dropped the charges. Rafe responds that this isn’t about Eric. Sloan questions what they want with her. Rafe says they will discuss it at police headquarters as they have a few questions to ask her.

Nicole brings Gabi to a room at the Salem Inn with rose petals on the bed and champagne in the room. Gabi acknowledges that she really went all out. Nicole assures that Stefan is on his way. Gabi is having a hard time believing that EJ is down with this. Nicole insists that EJ feels bad about keeping Stefan in the dark about what Dr. Rolf did which Stefan can confirm. Gabi questions what Nicole gets out of this. Nicole claims she’s just a romantic but there won’t be much romance if she stays here. Nicole tells Gabi to just get comfortable and wait for her guy. Gabi hugs Nicole and thanks her since she and Stefan wanted to be together so much and she’s like the answer to their prayers.

EJ goes to see Li at his apartment. Li calls it unexpected. EJ thinks he’ll be glad that he popped by. EJ asks if he interrupted a celebration. Li responds that it’s already been interrupted. Li tells EJ to say what he has to say and get out before Gabi comes back. EJ asks how things are going with Gabi. Li says slowly. EJ says that’s not good enough and reminds Li that he meant it when he said he wanted to help him reconcile with Gabi because he wants Gabi far away from Stefan and his family’s fortune as soon as possible. Li says EJ has his work cut out for him. EJ asks if Gabi happened to leave with Nicole. Li questions EJ knowing about her offer from Basic Black. EJ reveals there is no offer and that he’s afraid Li has been setup. Li questions how. EJ then informs him that Stefan and Gabi are together as they speak. Li accuses him of lying but EJ says he’s not and asks if he cares to do something about it.

Stefan arrives at the room at the Salem Inn. Gabi can’t believe this is happening. Stefan thanks Nicole. Nicole tells them to enjoy each other and exits the room, putting the do not disturb sign on the way out. Gabi hugs Stefan and says she can’t believe this is happening. Stefan declares that they are really finally alone and kisses her.

Days of Our Lives Update

At the Brady Pub, Roman is on the phone with Lucas and says he’ll let him know if there’s any updates. Eric walks by as Roman hangs up and asks if everything is okay. Roman informs him that he was just updating Lucas on the search for Megan Hathaway. Eric says he’d like an update himself. Roman informs him that Hope has a lead on Megan’s location, thanks to Harris Michaels.

At the ISA Facility in Frederick, Maryland, Harris asks if Hope really means that she felt something for him which she confirms. Hope says she needs to trust him and they have to take it one step at a time slowly. Harris says he’s good with that and they end up kissing until Ciara suddenly bursts in and questions what the hell is going on here. Hope is shocked to see her as she gets up and hugs her, calling it an incredible surprise and says she’s so happy to see her. Hope thought Ciara was still sailing around with Ben and baby Bo. Ciara confirms that she was until a few hours ago and she happened to call Shawn, who told her that Hope was an hour away. Hope calls it a coincidence and repeats that she’s so thrilled to see her as she hugs again. Hope then states that she’s a little confused since this is a secured facility and questions how she got in. Ciara responds that she is her daughter and was able to convince her cousin Andrew to give her clearance. Ciara adds that she got there just in time because she’s there to stop Hope from making the biggest mistake of her life.

Bo packs his bag and thanks Megan for the memories but says he’s going in to his future on his own. Bo then opens the door to leave but runs in to Kayla, who is stunned to see him. Bo says it’s good to see her as Kayla hugs him in shock that her brother is alive.

John bursts in to one of the labs and discovers the tube where Marlena is being held which shocks him. John questions if it’s really her.

Hope tries to explain to Ciara but Ciara argues that Hope told her that she was out hunting down Megan, but she just walked in on Hope kissing the man that Megan hired to kill her. Harris tries to speak but Hope says it’s okay. Ciara argues that it’s absolutely not okay. Ciara remarks that Bo would be rolling over in his grave if he could see Hope right now.

Bo guesses Kayla wasn’t expecting this. Kayla talks about Dr. Rolf telling her that Megan was trying to bring back a lost love but she never thought it was possible as she excitedly hugs him. Kayla sees Megan unconscious on the floor and asks what happened. Bo explains that she tried to inject him with a sedative so he gave her a taste of her own medicine. Kayla tells Bo that Dr. Rolf just tried the same with her so she fought him off and ran. Bo asks if she’s done with this insane experiment too. Kayla questions if Megan has had Bo locked up here all this time. Bo explains that he told her that he was leaving so she put up a fight and lost. Megan then begins waking up so Bo says they better get the hell out of here but Kayla says they can’t because Marlena is here too and they are not going without her.

John tries to open the tube holding Marlena but he can’t. John then finds a button that opens the tube and also sounds the alarm. John touches Marlena and is shocked to find out that she’s breathing and alive.

Eric asks Roman about Harris working for Megan. Roman says apparently Megan brainwashed Harris in to doing her dirty work but the ISA was able to get him out of it, so now he’s doing everything he can to track down his old boss and bring her to justice. Eric doesn’t know after all the damage Harris did last summer, so he questions if they can trust anything Harris says.

Ciara tells Hope that she needs to get away from Harris. Hope tells her that she doesn’t understand. Ciara questions her kissing the man who almost killed them all in Montreal. Ciara tells Hope to explain it to her and hopes that she is using him to get information on Megan. Hope reveals that Harris has already given them a possible location, so John and Steve are checking it out now. Ciara congratulates Hope on getting him to give up his boss but questions if she had to do it by kissing him. Hope stops Ciara and informs her that Harris is not the same man. Ciara calls Harris a monster, who is very skilled at deception and says he might be on Hope’s side but he also might still be loyal to Megan. Ciara argues that Harris has killed three women already and asks if Hope really wants to be one of them.

John tries to get through to Marlena and encourages her to open her eyes. John decides he’s going to find help and runs in to Dr. Rolf. John grabs him and says he’s not surprised to see him here. Dr. Rolf apologizes for interrupting and says he sees John and Marlena are in the middle of a joyous reunion. John says they would be but she’s still unconscious. Dr. Rolf says he’s sure they want time alone so he’ll be on his way. John says he’s not going anywhere and demands that Dr. Rolf wake Marlena up now so they can get the hell out of here.

Bo and Kayla exit the lab and Bo is ready to leave the island but Kayla reminds him that they have to get Marlena. Bo says to forget her because they don’t have time, so Marlena is on her own. Kayla complains that Marlena is unconscious and has no way of protecting herself. Bo says that’s her bad luck and wants to go but Kayla questions him and says they cannot leave their friend. Bo argues that if they go back, they could get stuck on this island. Kayla refuses to leave Marlena with Megan. Kayla asks if Bo knows that Kate is dead. Bo confirms that he does. Kayla asks if Megan told him. Bo says no and reveals that he shot Kate.

Megan comes to and complains that Bo has always been such a bad boy but declares that she’s going to get him back in line. Megan throws the syringe in frustration and goes to leave but is stopped in her tracks by Steve. Megan tells him that she was just on her way out. Steve pulls his gun and says she’s got that right.

John warns Dr. Rolf that if he hurts Marlena, he will splatter him all over the lab. Dr. Rolf assures that his injection will give Marlena a full recovery and she will be a living testament to his scientific genius.

Steve tells Megan that she killed his wife and now he’s going to pay for that. Megan asks if he doesn’t want to catch up. Steve orders her to keep her hands where he can see them and calls her a psychotic bitch who played God with people’s lives. Steve asks why Megan let the women die. Megan says she’d love to bring him up to speed on her plans but she has more pressing matters to tend to. Steve stops her and says she’s not going anywhere but prison for murdering Marlena, Kate, and Kayla which Megan denies doing. Steve explains that Orpheus told them that someone stole the orchid from the secret room in the DiMera Mansion and they know it was her. Megan admits that she might have arranged to have the orchid stolen. Steve says it’s because of her that the three women are gone but Megan says she’s afraid that he has that quite wrong. Megan states that she didn’t steal the orchid to kill them, but to save them. Steve doesn’t know what she is talking about but declares that he’s done listening. Megan stops him and says there is something he needs to know. Megan then reveals that Kayla is alive.

Kayla questions Bo saying he shot and killed Kate. Bo confirms that he did. Kayla says it must be a sick joke. Bo says it’s not and wants to leave but Kayla complains that this doesn’t make any sense as he doesn’t care about Marlena and is now saying he shot Kate. Kayla asks Bo how he could do something like that. Bo asks why she cares. Kayla argues that he took someone’s life and that was his brother’s wife. Bo mentions that Kate told him that she got her hooks back in to Roman. Kayla argues that Kate made Roman incredibly happy and they could’ve been reunited. Bo calls Kate a manipulating snake and says he did Roman a favor and he doesn’t care. Kayla argues that it wasn’t Bo that killed Kate on his own free will and blames it on Megan brainwashing him.

Hope informs Ciara that Harris was brainwashed by Megan, who had been controlling his mind for years and that’s why he did all those horrible things last summer. Ciara questions if he’s now just suddenly magically changed. Hope reveals that Harris has been deprogrammed and went through Hell doing it which is why he’s in the hospital since he collapsed after shock therapy. Hope adds that Harris volunteered for the treatment even though it nearly killed him. Hope assures that Harris has been completely deprogrammed. Ciara argues that she doesn’t know that for sure but Hope says she does because she was there and watched the treatment. Ciara complains that she was there and watched Harris pretend to be in love with Hope while he was actually an assassin. Ciara pleads with Hope to wake up and argues that just because he got zapped doesn’t mean he’s changed. Ciara adds that with navy SEAL training, he could withstand anything. Hope brings up Harris giving Megan’s location. Ciara argues that it could just be a random location on a map and insists that Harris could be faking it, so she doesn’t to risk the chance that he will hurt Hope again. Hope tells Harris that her daughter is as stubborn as her father was, so he’s not going to change her mind. Harris says that’s fine because he agrees with everything Ciara said.

Roman tells Eric that before Megan got a hold of Harris, he was a navy SEAL and a real hero. Roman adds that Harris signed up for ECT which brought back a bunch of memories about where he thinks Megan could be. Roman says with any luck, John and Steve could be closing in on Megan now. Eric is surprised that Roman didn’t want to be a part of that and questions if he doesn’t want to bring Megan back. Roman assures that John and Steve can handle that while he has another job. Roman reveals he has a plane to catch so Eric questions where he is going. Roman states that he’s going to lay Kate to rest.

John complains to Dr. Rolf that nothing is happening and asks if he’s sure he had the right serum in the syringe. John warns that Dr. Rolf is a dead man if Marlena doesn’t wake up. Marlena then wakes up and is shocked to see John. Marlena asks if she’s dreaming and starts to cry as John holds her.

Roman tells Eric that he and Kate talked about taking a honeymoon to Ireland since her heart was set on it. Roman adds that Austin, Carrie, and Billie will meet him there to scatter Kate’s ashes in a special place. Roman mentions that Lucas wishes he could be there too, but he understands they can’t wait for him to get out of prison. Roman says he’s not going to carry the urn around like Anna did for years. Eric points out that Tony ended up alive. Roman wishes that were possible but he’s afraid the outcome won’t be the same for the women they love.

Megan asks Steve if he heard what she said that Kayla is alive. Steve accuses her of lying and just waiting for one of her goons to come save her but that’s not going to happen. Megan asks if he wants to know where Kayla is. Steve argues that Kayla is in a grave because he stood there with their children as they lowered her in to the ground. Megan reveals that wasn’t Kayla. Steve warns her to stop talking. Megan knows he has no reason to believe her but asks if he wants to see for himself because Kayla is here. Megan says she can prove it and offers to take him to Kayla right now.

Kayla tells Bo that Megan did the same brainwashing to John and Steve last year and they did terrible things. Bo responds that he doesn’t follow anyone’s orders. Kayla sees that Bo is trying to break free but Megan could still have a hold on him, so they need to go back and get Marlena who can help Bo get back to the man he used to be. Bo responds that he doesn’t want that because that man died years ago. Kayla argues that whatever Megan did to him, they can fix. Bo says there’s nothing to fix and that he doesn’t need Marlena or anyone. Kayla asks him what about Hope?

Hope questions Harris agreeing with Ciara. Harris gets where she’s coming from and understands her worries because he did terrorize her family. Harris takes responsibility for his actions and is grateful to have a chance to apologize to Ciara in person. Harris says he’s truly sorry and doesn’t blame Ciara one bit for not wanting him near her mother. Hope reminds Ciara of how people reacted when she first got with Ben and how they thought there was no way Ben could ever change, but Ciara believed he deserved a second chance and she believes Harris does too. Ciara says she’s just really worried about her. Ciara adds that ever since Bo died, Hope hasn’t had the best luck in love which Hope agrees with. Hope informs her that she and Harris have decided to take it one step at a time, slowly. Hope points out that Harris put his life on the line to get deprogrammed in order to help her find Megan and it nearly killed him. Ciara acknowledges that was very brave of Harris and he thanks her. Ciara asks about the location Harris gave to John and Steve which he confirms as a possible location. Hope says they need to hear what John and Steve find. Hope then asks Ciara to tell her everything and fill her in on baby Bo. Ciara reveals that first she has good news and announces that baby Bo is going to be a big brother as she is pregnant. Hope excitedly hugs her and calls it great news as she congratulates her.

Dr. Rolf remarks that it seems he’s the third wheel so he quietly exits. John cries to Marlena that he lost her. Marlena responds that he should know by now, that’s impossible. John asks if she’s sure she’s okay. Marlena says she is now that he’s here. John helps Marlena out of the tube and then notices the other tubes, so he asks if she had company. Marlena confirms that Megan had been keeping others captive as well.

Kayla tells Bo that she can’t imagine what he’s been through, but he survived and she’s sure a lot of what drove him was his feelings for Hope. Bo argues that it had nothing to do with Hope as it was Megan who saved him and cured his brain tumor, but the downside is that Megan has this crazy ass fantasy that they belong together. Kayla calls that impossible because Bo belongs with Hope. Bo calls that ancient history. Kayla says Bo might have been gone but the love is still there. Kayla argues that Bo isn’t thinking straight. Bo responds that what he wants has nothing to do with Hope or his past because that’s over. Kayla tells him it can never be over when you have a love like that and she knows because she has it with Steve. Kayla talks about when you’re lucky enough to find someone to have that connection with, then you will fight through any obstacle for it.

Marlena informs John that Kayla is alive too and so was Kate, but Megan said she killed her. They wonder if Megan might have been lying about that. Marlena says Megan did take Kate out and then they heard a gunshot. John admits that doesn’t sound good. Marlena wonders where Kayla is. John says she’s probably with Steve now. Marlena questions Steve being there too. John confirms they split up to look for Megan. Steve then brings Megan in to the lab with his gun and announces that he found her. Steve walks in and is shocked to see Marlena is alive. Steve tells John to keep an eye on Megan which he does as Steve hugs Marlena and breaks down crying. Marlena reveals to Steve that Kayla is alive too. Megan says she told him. Steve is shocked and asks Megan where the hell Kayla is then.

Kayla tells Bo that they need to go find Marlena because she’s sure that she could help him. Bo repeats that he doesn’t need Marlena, Hope, or his old life. Kayla knows Megan did something to him because the Bo that she knows would move heaven and earth to get to Hope and his kids. Bo tells her that she’s wasting her breath. Kayla questions if Bo is saying he doesn’t care about Ciara and Shawn. Bo insists that they need to go. Kayla asks about his granddaughter Claire and his grandson. Bo questions having a grandson. Kayla informs him that Ciara had a son and named him little Bo, who is about a year old. Kayla questions if Bo doesn’t want to meet him and hold him. Kayla insists that Bo will look in to his grandson’s face and be madly in love.

Hope promises Ciara that she won’t let her down when her baby is born. Ciara says having her there this time would make her very happy. Harris agrees that it’s great news and congratulates Ciara. Ciara thanks him and says she should get going. Hope hugs her and says she loves her so much. Hope calls it an amazing surprise and sends her love to baby Bo and Ben. Hope suggests they grab dinner before she leaves. Ciara agrees and guesses she’ll see Harris there. Harris agrees if it’s okay with Hope, who admits she would like that.

Bo tells Kayla that Kate already tried this and went on about how the real Bo was devoted to family and would want another chance with them. Kayla says it’s right that Bo loves all of them and the person he had the most special, close bond with is Ciara. Kayla talks about how Ciara’s biggest wish would be for her child to get to know Bo because she admired him so much. Kayla says that Bo has the power to grant that wish and encourages him to make it happen.

Steve questions Megan about where Kayla is. Megan responds that last she knew, Kayla was here. Megan suggests maybe Kayla got restless, found a boat, and sailed away. Marlena argues that Kayla would never leave her here. John mentions running in to Dr. Rolf, who slipped away right after reviving Marlena. Steve doubts Dr. Rolf will give him any trouble if he’s still lurking around. John asks what the plan is. Steve tells John to stay and watch Megan while he goes to find Kayla and then they will all go home.

Kayla urges Bo to think about how wonderful it would be to see all of the people who love and miss him. Bo asks if she’s heard anything he’s said. Bo remarks that he doesn’t want to see any of those people and they sure as hell don’t want to see him. Bo argues that they moved on with their lives and are better off thinking he’s dead. Kayla disagrees but Bo says he’s sick of hearing it. Bo declares that he knows what he wants and where he’s going which is off of this damn island. Bo orders Kayla to come with him. Kayla tells Bo to leave if he wants, but she is staying and going to find Marlena. Kayla turns to go back inside but Bo pulls his gun on her and warns that she’s not going anywhere.

Eric offers to go with Roman to Ireland. Roman appreciates that but says he needs him to keep an eye on the Pub while he’s gone. Eric hugs Roman and tells him to travel safe and send his love. Eric knows it’s not easy but he thinks what he’s doing is really beautiful. Roman says they will keep it short and sweet, scatter Kate’s ashes, and then go raise a glass at an Irish Pub. Eric bets that when Roman gets back, Megan will be in custody. Roman hopes so because he wants to look whoever killed Kate in the eye to let them know they are very lucky that he doesn’t tear them limb from limb. Roman and Eric hug goodbye as Roman then exits with his bag packed.

Kayla tells Bo that if this is about Kate, everyone will understand that Megan brainwashed him. Bo says this isn’t about Megan but about him and his future. Kayla questions him just taking off without looking back. Bo says they are taking off. Kayla refuses and repeats that she’s staying with Marlena. Bo tells her not to do this. Kayla refuses to abandon her friend while Bo refuses to let Kayla become Megan’s next guinea pig. Kayla questions if she’s supposed to let Marlena be and repeats that Bo can go but she is staying here. Bo calls Kayla as stubborn as their mom ever was which Kayla is proud of. Kayla asks if Bo is going to shoot her like he shot Kate.

Hope sits back with Harris and tells him that Brady women are not easily swayed, so she’s impressed that he won Ciara over. Harris says he just got her to give him a chance. Hope is sorry that Ciara gave him such a hard time at first. Harris understands Ciara wants to protect her mom and adds that maybe she needs to. Harris says right now it seems the deprogramming worked, but asks what if he relapses. Hope says it won’t but Harris argues that she doesn’t know that. Harris states that until they know for sure, maybe she should stay away from him. Harris worries about hurting Hope again. Hope thought he would’ve learned by now that she’s more than capable of taking care of herself as they hold hands.

John and Marlena talk about being together again. Megan complains that they would do whatever they had to do to find their way back to each other and be reunited with their one true love. Megan argues that she’s no different because everything she did was for love. John tells Megan that whatever her plan was failed because they are going home and she’s going to prison for life. Megan says regardless of what they think, she didn’t set out to hurt anyone and was just trying to mend her broken heart. Marlena argues that Megan doesn’t have a heart and she proved that by killing Kate. Megan responds that she didn’t kill her. Marlena says that she and Kayla heard the gunshot. Megan insists that she didn’t pull the trigger. Marlena asks if she’s saying Dr. Rolf pulled the trigger which Megan laughs at. John asks who shot Kate then. Megan says wouldn’t he like to know.

Steve finds his way outside and calls out for Kayla but there’s no answer. Steve then looks down and finds Kayla’s necklace on the ground. Steve cries that she really is alive as he picks it up. Steve says he’s coming and walks off.

Kayla tells Bo that she really needs to go back. Bo says she’ll change her tune once she sees where they’re going. Kayla calls it a bad idea while Bo calls it the first day of the rest of his life. Bo then takes Kayla to get on the boat, leaving behind his bag and the Orchid is with it.

Days of Our Lives Update

In Annapolis, Maryland, Ben and Ciara are in a hotel watching over their baby Bo. They talk about being back on ground in the US after sailing around the world in their boat and being happy to be home.

Hope tells Harris that she’s sorry but she has to get going. Harris starts to get up but he collapses. Hope rushes to check on him and calls for help.

Dr. Rolf watches over Marlena and Kayla in their lab tubes. Dr. Rolf wonders which of them will be his next guinea pig

Steve exits the Brady Pub and calls John, telling him to meet him at the airfield right now because he just talked to Hope and has a potential location on Megan Hathaway.

Megan enters the lab and questions what Bo is looking at. Bo says it’s notes on him. Megan blows it off as just pages of scientific mumbo jumbo, but Bo calls it thought provoking with observations of his past. Megan argues that his past is long gone, so he needs to focus on their future together. Megan offers to get rid of the file but Bo says now that he finished reading it, he won’t forget about it. Megan asks if he means how she saved his life. Bo says it’s more about who he was, what he wanted, and who his father is. Megan tells him to forget the file. Bo slams it down and asks if that’s an order. Megan calls it just a suggestion, knowing how he feels about orders. Bo mocks the idea of her looking out for him and his best interests. Megan brings up the lengths she’s gone to protect him, so she doesn’t understand how he could be questioning her motives. Bo argues that she ordered him to kill, so he thinks she might have a more sinister agenda. Megan claims that wasn’t an order, but also a suggestion because she didn’t want them to have any distractions. Bo compares it to a permanent Do Not Disturb sign. Megan complains that the file has made Bo very negative. Megan says she just hoped they could talk. Bo says that’s good because there is something he’d like to talk about. Megan asks what it is. Bo responds that he’s leaving.

Ciara tells Ben that she is really happy to be home, though technically they aren’t home yet. Ciara suggests making a pit stop while they are in the US. Ben guesses she wants to back to Salem. Ciara confirms that they can fly out and see Shawn and her grandparents. They joke about Julie’s e-mail, wanting to see her great grandson. Ciara asks what Ben says to bringing baby Bo back home. Ben agrees that it would be great to see everybody again, but points out that it won’t be the same without Marlena being there.

Dr. Rolf jokes about using a nursery rhyme to pick between who he will experiment on between Marlena and Kayla.

John and Steve get on the plane. John asks about Hope getting through to Harris Michaels. Steve explains that it took some help from the ISA, but Harris finally remembered a facility in the Mediterranean where Dr. Rolf and Megan had worked on him and a nautical chart on the wall where he recalled the coordinates. John asks what Steve thinks. Steve says it’s very possible that Megan holed up in this location.

Dr. Rolf wakes Kayla up and says she is coming out from a very strong sedative. Dr. Rolf says that Marlena is still sleeping but they won’t be needing her participation because today is Kayla’s lucky day which she questions. Dr. Rolf tells her about his serum and he can’t prove it’s effectiveness without a human trial. Dr. Rolf explains that Kate was to be the first subject but she destroyed his initial batch, so Megan had no choice but to eliminate her.

Ciara tells Ben that they both know how much Marlena did for them and admits it will be so strange to go back to Salem without her there. Ben brings up Kayla and Kate as well. Ciara says it all seems so unreal. Ben says they were gone for so long that they missed the funerals which is why he’s having a hard time believing that Marlena is really gone, since he never got the chance to say goodbye to her. Ben asks how to thank someone for literally saving your life. Ciara encourages that he always finds the words. Ben doesn’t know if he will find the words when he sees John, Steve, and Roman. Ciara says they will just have to send them their love. Ben mentions having a dream about trying to save Marlena’s life, like she saved his. Ben says he doesn’t remember all the details but that he knew she was going to survive. Ben adds that he hated waking up from that dream. Ben points out that if it wasn’t for Marlena, he wouldn’t have Ciara or their baby Bo. Ciara encourages that Marlena saw the person Ben really is and at least she got to meet Bo and see how happy they are which Ben credits Marlena for. Ciara says she suddenly feels like they are on the boat again. Ben relates to still getting used to being on land. Ciara talks about feeling uneasy so Ben encourages her to eat but Ciara instead runs to the bathroom.

Harris wakes up in a hospital bed with Hope at his side. Hope asks how he’s feeling. Harris responds that he’s not sure and asks what happened. Hope informs him that he collapsed, so she was worried that the treatment caused permanent damage but the doctor assured that it was just a delayed reaction. Hope adds that the doctor wants to keep an eye on him but doesn’t think he has anything to worry about and that he’ll be okay. Harris thanks Hope for staying. Hope admits that he scared her as he looked pale while lying on the floor. Harris says obviously he feels better now. Harris mentions being thirsty so Hope gets him a drink and talks about how the treatment was hard to watch, but he came through with the coordinates so Steve and John are on their way now. Harris tells Hope that she should get going since he knows how important it is for her to find Megan, but Hope says she’s not going anywhere.

Megan questions Bo saying he’s leaving. Bo complains that he has been in this hellhole for months, so he’s getting out. Megan reminds Bo that he’s been here for years and that’s why he’s still alive. Megan asks if that’s not good enough for him. Bo calls this a cell and says he needs to get back out there because he’s not going to find what he’s looking for while stuck in here. Megan argues that she’s given him everything he could possibly want. Bo responds that he doesn’t know what he wants, but he has a lot of questions about who he is, so he has to go find himself. Megan mocks the cliche of one findng themselves. Bo insists that he has to go some place where he can think, breathe, and see the sky to figure things out for himself. Megan says she can answer anything he wants to know but Bo says he has to get these answers himself, so he’s leaving. Megan responds that she’s afraid that she can’t let him do that.

Ciara comes out of the bathroom and tells Ben that she’s okay now but asks him not to mention food again. Ben can’t believe that she’s gotten sea sick after they got back to land. Ciara says she’s not sea sick, so Ben asks what it is then. Ben suggests postponing their trip to Salem and get her to a doctor. Ciara then reveals that she realized she was late about a week ago. Ciara announces that she thinks she might be pregnant.

Jason asks if Hope doesn’t want to find Megan. Hope asks what if Harris collapses again. Harris points out that she said the doctor said he would be fine. Hope argues that what he did took a tremendous toll and even the doctor wanted to stop, but he insisted they keep going. Harris tells her not to make him out to be a hero and says he only did it so Megan doesn’t get away with it. Harris argues that Megan used him to hurt people, so he wants to bring her down as much as Hope does. Hope says she definitely wants to bring her down, but she didn’t nearly get herself killed in the process. Harris states that if it helps him get his life back, it was worth it and this is the first time in a long time that he feels like it might actually happen. Hope asks if he’s thought about what he might want to do with that life. Harris admits he doesn’t know and says the navy was his life but doesn’t think the feeling would be mutual after he was compromised. Hope suggests an arrangement could be made. Harris says he knows she’s tight with the ISA director but doesn’t think even she could pull those strings. Hope says she wouldn’t mind trying. Harris says he appreciates that but he knows he would like to spend more time with her.

Steve shows John the chart that Harris remembers seeing in the room. Steve bets somewhere on the map is the lab’s location. Steve points out a chain of 30 islands on the map which John says they have to narrow down. John suggests cross referencing the islands with DiMera properties. Steve finds that it doesn’t look like Stefano bought any properties. John says he figured it wouldn’t be that simple and says it’s like looking for a needle in a haystack. Steve points out that they can eliminate some of the islands as impossible to get to. Steve says the lab has to be in a fairly large facility which most of the islands couldn’t support. Steve declares there’s only one that has any infrastructure of that size. Steve points out that would be a military base.

Kayla questions Dr. Rolf saying that Megan eliminated Kate. Dr. Rolf tells her that Kate is dead so it’s not a good idea to resist anything. Dr. Rolf says he improved his serum, so Kayla will soon ask for another dose because it will give her a refresher. Kayla questions what it will refresh. Dr. Rolf says his serum is a fountain of youth that will make her young again. Kayla says she doesn’t want that. Dr. Rolf argues that most people would spend a fortune to go back in time. Kayla questions what he’s planning to do. Dr. Rolf repeats that he will make her young again. Kayla asks what if the serum doesn’t work. Dr. Rolf is afraid it won’t be pretty but he has confidence that won’t be the case. Dr. Rolf talks about testing it on a lab rat but says Megan will only be satisfied when he proves to her that a human subject can survive the injection. Dr. Rolf says he could make a fortune on this serum. Kayla questions Megan wanting to recapture her youth. Dr. Rolf explains that it’s in the hopes of capturing a lost love.

Bo tells Megan that he’s done following her orders, so he’s leaving now. Megan clarifies that she just meant he can’t leave now because Dr. Rolf is finishing a new batch of his serum. Megan tells Bo that this serum will give them back all of those years that were stolen from them where they were apart. Megan asks if Bo wants a chance to live the life they would’ve lived if her mother hadn’t interfered and kept them apart. Bo refuses to go back to that and declares he has to look forward to his future. Megan argues that his future is here with her but Bo says she’s not going to decide that for him. Megan calls him an ingrate. Bo tells her that he really appreciates everything she’s done for him but he cannot give what she’s asking of him. Megan says she understands. Megan asks Bo to just stay tonight so they can have one last dinner, say a proper goodbye, and then he can leave in the morning. Bo says no and that it’s best for both of them if he leaves now. Megan responds that she does have one last order for him then. Megan grabs her syringe and tells Bo to be a man about it.

John and Steve talk about a military base being on the island and how Harris is ex-navy so he could’ve been stationed there, but the place is abandoned now. Steve finds out that it was active in the 50s as a research facility. John decides that he will talk to the pilot about landing on that island. John adds that if Megan is there, they will need the element of surprise because they don’t know what the hell they are walking in to.

Kayla questions Dr. Rolf saying that Megan is hoping to recapture a lost love. He says she is determined. Kayla argues that the only love of her life that she knows about is Bo and he’s dead. Kayla then stops and asks if Bo is alive and if he is the one who was in the chamber. Dr. Rolf questions why she would think that. Kayla asks who else Megan would want to revive if it’s not Stefano and it would have to be someone she would move heaven and earth to bring back. Dr. Rolf remarks that she has a wild imagination.

Bo questions Megan about what is in her syringe. Megan calls it an insurance policy because she cannot let him walk out the door. Bo says he’s not going to let her inject him with the fountain of youth serum. Megan clarifies that’s not what this is because Dr. Rolf still needs to test that. Megan says this is just a sedative. Bo says it’s not going to happen and tells her not to do this. Megan questions why Bo is doing this. Megan argues that it will just give Bo a slight attitude adjustment and when Dr. Rolf is done, they will be on the same page and Bo will have realized what they had and could still have. Bo responds that he doesn’t want any part of it. Megan insists that he will want her as much as she wants him, when Dr. Rolf is finished.

Harris tells Hope that they wasted so much of the year they were together by acting like a couple but just playing a big game. Harris says now that they have been given another chance, he wants to get to know the real her and for her to get to know the real him. Harris says that’s what he wants, but he totally understands if she doesn’t feel the same way because he knows he put her through Hell and terrorized her family, so she probably wants nothing to do with him.

Ciara takes a pregnancy test and they talk about how quickly Ben went to get the test. Ciara asks if Ben is nervous because he thinks this is a good thing or a bad thing, since they didn’t really plan this and Bo isn’t even a year old, so they will be on a ship with a toddler. Ben responds that it’s not a good thing, it’s a great thing. Ben points out that they don’t even know yet if she’s pregnant. Ciara then checks the pregnancy test and reveals that she is pregnant as they excitedly hug. Ben can’t believe they are having another baby. Ciara asks if he’s actually happy about this. Ben assures that he is and they have talked about having another baby. Ciara points out that it’s so soon. Ciara calls Ben a great dad and says it will be so nice for Bo to have a sibling. Ciara realizes she has to call Shawn to tell him they are coming to Salem. Ben asks about Hope. Ciara says that’s a good idea, so she’ll see if she can come down from Montreal. Ciara calls Shawn and informs them that they are back in the states at a hotel in Maryland and they might stop by Salem if he’s not busy. Ciara says she misses him and will call Hope to see if she can fly down too. Ciara is then surprised when Shawn tells her where Hope is.

Hope reminds Harris of telling him yesterday that some of their moments were real and admits that she did feel something for him. Harris wasn’t sure she meant that as he thought she would say anything to convince him to be deprogrammed. They joke about Romeo and Juliet not having these type of conversations and not being secret agents. Hope understands that Harris thought she was working an angle but confirms she’s not right now, as this is just them for real.

John and Steve arrive on the island with their guns raised. John says the base has to be around here somewhere. Steve points out a building and they move ahead.

Kayla tells Dr. Rolf that it’s not possible since Bo died in Hope’s arms. Dr. Rolf points out that Kayla died in Steve’s arms and Marlena died in John’s. Kayla asks if he’s telling her the truth that Bo is alive. Dr. Rolf says he’s not telling her anything and plans to inject her with the serum but she grabs his arm to stop him.

Megan tries to inject Bo but he grabs her and says he doesn’t want to hurt her. Megan questions why he’s doing this and if he doesn’t want them to be together. Megan brings up curing his brain tumor and bringing him back to life, complaining that this is how he repays her. Bo argues that they were over years ago and were never meant to be together. Megan asks if he’s going to go be with Hope and declares that she’s not going to let that happen. Megan and Bo struggle over the syringe until she accidentally injects herself and passes out in Bo’s arms.

Kayla fights Dr. Rolf over the syringe and suggests he test the serum on himself. Dr. Rolf questions how she is doing this when she shouldn’t have the strength from the sedative. Kayla remarks that he should’ve given her a bigger dose. Kayla fights him off and escapes the lab while Dr. Rolf chases after her.

John and Steve enter the base with their guns. John suggests they split up to cover more ground.

Harris asks if Hope really means that which she confirms. Hope says she needs to trust him and they have to take it one step at a time slowly. Harris says he’s good with that and they end up kissing until Ciara suddenly bursts in and questions what the hell is going on here.

John bursts in to one of the labs and discovers the tube where Marlena is being held which shocks him.

Bo packs his bag and thanks Megan for the memories but says he’s going in to his future on his own. Bo then opens the door to leave but runs in to Kayla, who is stunned to see him.

Days of Our Lives Update

Bo enters Megan’s lab where she left the orchid. Bo stops and thinks back to Kate asking where the old Bo Brady that she knew was until Kate told him to pull the trigger, which he did.

Dr. Rolf watches over a rat in his lab and says the serum is working it’s magic on the rat. Rolf remarks that Kate could’ve experienced it too but she had to be difficult and now she’s dead. Dr. Rolf adds that Megan has put Marlena and Kayla back to sleep to avoid any more escape attempts as they can’t afford to lose any more lab rats. Dr. Rolf mentions putting this new batch of serum together in record time. Dr. Rolf says the rat was an excellent test subject and now they’ll see how the humans do.

At the ISA Facility in Frederick, Maryland, Harris Michaels complains about being unable to remember anything before Megan grabbed him. Hope encourages that he’s only been working with Kimberly for a day after Megan put him through years of mind control. Harris argues that maybe part of his brain doesn’t want to be reprogrammed. Hope argues that he wants his life back. Harris confirms that he wants to find Megan and bring her to justice for Hope’s sake and for his.

Megan joins Dr. Rolf, who informs her that he’s finished the new batch of his serum and tested it successfully on the rat. Megan complains that the serum won’t do her any good if she’s already lost Bo and that would be Dr. Rolf’s fault, which he questions. Megan argues that he said Bo would be forever loyal and true to her which Rolf points out that he has been. Megan responds that he has not as last night after she ordered him to kill Kate. Dr. Rolf says they heard the gunshot. Megan informs him that Bo killed Kate, but then he went rogue and stopped listening to her, now he’s locked himself in the other lab and won’t speak to her. Megan questions how Dr. Rolf could let this happen.

Bo begins searching the drawers of the lab and finds a file folder on himself.

Megan screams at Dr. Rolf that he told her that Bo would be eating out of the palm of her hand. Dr. Rolf argues that he was but he’s a very strong willed individual and that’s why he needs the serum to get him to fall back in love with her. Dr. Rolf reminds Megan that he can alter people’s minds but he can’t change who they are, so at their core, they will be who they have always been.

Bo reads through his file which includes his family history. Bo reads that his parents were Caroline Brady and Victor Kiriakis, causing him to have a flashback of Victor.

Dr. Frankel, the ISA doctor that Kimberly called to consult, joins Harris and Hope. She informs them that what Megan did to Harris’ brain was deeply embedded, so traditional psychotherapy may not be enough to retrieve his memories. Harris asks now what then. She says one option is shock therapy. She warns that she cannot guarantee it will work and that it may have side effects and in rare cases, it could even be fatal. Harris decides he wants to do it now and he’s sure. Dr. Frankel gives him a consent form to sign then. Hope advises Harris that he can take time to decide and they can talk it over with Kimberly, so he doesn’t have to sign it now. Harris responds that he can’t live this way anymore, so he wants to do it.

Chad talks with Abe at the Pub about how Theo has become unbeatable at playing chess. Abe recalls how he and Lexie had so many worries about Theo growing up and now he almost wishes Theo was a little less independent. Chad relates to feeling the same about his kids growing up so fast. Chad mentions that Theo was about Thomas’s age when he lost Lexie. Chad asks how Theo reacted when Abe started to move on with dating. Chad states that Thomas and Charlotte adore Stephanie and they are happy that they are together, but he’s worried about if it doesn’t work out. Abe states that none of them know for sure what the future holds, so he advises Chad to take it one day at a time and enjoy what they have together. Abe tells Chad to stop wondering what if and says having Stephanie in their lives right now is a good thing. Chad agrees and thanks Abe for the advice. Abe brings up Chad and Stephanie’s work relationship also being very good. Abe notes that Paulina has been very impressed with them and they have helped her out of a lot of jams. Chad says they made a big screw up awhile back, so they are just grateful that Paulina gave them a second chance.

Paulina and Stephanie go to Paulina’s office and finds it has been trashed. Paulina complains that someone must have broken in but Stephanie points out that the door was locked, so whoever did it had to have gotten in some other way. Paulina responds that she doesn’t care how they did it, only who did it and says that she knows exactly who it was.

Harris begins his shock treatment. Dr. Frankel raises the voltage but Hope tells her to stop, worrying that she’s hurting him. Harris says to keep going, insisting that he can take it.

Megan complains to Dr. Rolf that Harris Michaels was another strong willed individual who fancied himself as a hero, but he always did what she asked of him. Dr. Rolf points out that he didn’t always since he wouldn’t shoot Hope on their wedding day. Megan says he doesn’t have to remind her of that. Megan questions what these men see in Hope. Dr. Rolf points out that Bo doesn’t see anything in Hope anymore. Megan asks how he can be so sure since Bo has broken free of her influence, so she questions how he can be sure that he hasn’t failed entirely and that Bo hasn’t fallen for Hope again.

Bo continues going through his file and comes across a page on Hope, described as his one true love which causes him to have flashbacks to their relationship.

Stephanie questions Paulina knowing who did this to her office. Paulina blames Sloan and asks who else it would be. Stephanie asks if she has proof or if she’s just guessing. Paulina complains that ever since Belle got the case thrown out, Sloan has been vowing to get revenge somehow. Stephanie states that trashing her office is upsetting, but doesn’t seem like Sloan’s M.O. Paulina suggests she could’ve been looking for dirt on her and insists that’s what happened. Paulina declares that Sloan is not going to get away with this, so she’s going to wring her neck.

Abe tells Chad that he can’t promise things won’t get messy with Paulina again, but he’s glad they are on her side. Steve arrives and greets them, then asks if Roman is around. Abe says he left awhile ago. Steve says he just has some news on the hunt for Megan Hathaway, so he wanted to give Roman an update. Abe responds that he’d like an update himself. Chad can’t say he’s looking forward to meeting his long lost sister, unless she’s in police custody when he does.

Dr. Rolf argues that if Bo’s feelings for Hope had returned, he wouldn’t be holed up in the other lab, he would be tearing his way out of here and nothing would be able to stop him from getting home to her. Megan points out that Bo doesn’t even know where he is. Dr. Rolf says it doesn’t matter, he would find his way, but he owes his life to Megan which gives her considerable power in this situation. Megan states that until last night, Bo did everything she asked him to including stealing the orchid from Salem and killing Kate. Megan doesn’t understand what changed so suddenly. Dr. Rolf reminds her that he’s been through a lot of trauma and they don’t know how the brain tumor could have affected him. Megan points out that he doesn’t have a brain tumor anymore because of her. Megan says she got the prisms to revive him, kidnapped numerous people, has been living off the grid for decades, and sacrificed everything to get Bo back. Megan cries that she’s not going to lose Bo now.

Bo continues reading through his file which states that his stubborn streak would be the hardest thing to overcome as he would be resistant to treatment and it would be difficult to erase his love for Hope so they would focus on the cracks in their relationship. Bo has flashbacks to arguing with Hope in the past. Bo continues reading his file which says he has loved other women including Megan and if all goes according to plan, he will love her once again.

Harris’ shock therapy treatment continues, giving him flashbacks to Dr. Rolf altering his brain. Harris then has a breakthrough and declares that he remembers.

Steve informs Abe and Chad that Harris Michaels agreed to track down Megan and that Kimberly is treating him, so she believes he is sincere and whatever feelings he has for Hope have broken through Megan’s brainwashing. Chad hopes Megan fries for what she did. Steve says they are working on that. Chad asks if Stephanie knows about the latest developments. Steve says no, but she would like to be in the loop, so he asks Chad to fill her in. Chad tells Steve that he’s sorry if he was worried about her last night. Steve responds that Stephanie is a grown woman and he’s glad that she has Chad’s support, especially now. Chad thanks him and says they are going through a hard time and helping each other. Abe comments on them having a great work relationship and adds that Paulina just extended their contract with SJPR. Steve says that’s great and that Stephanie must be so happy about that. Chad mentions that she’s actually signing the contract now and realizes he should’ve heard from her by now, so he’s going to make sure everything is okay.

Stephanie argues that Paulina can’t just go confront Sloan because she could be dangerous. Stephanie suggests calling the police but Paulina worries that Leo will publish another clickbait column about the latest scandal to plague her. Stephanie asks how it’s a scandal that someone trashed her office. Paulina complains that she just asked Stephanie to put out a press release that no one crosses her and this would make her look like a pathetic victim or a magnet for disaster. Stephanie insists that it’s not her fault and suggests letting her handle the PR, starting by pointing out that strangling someone is not the most strategic move which Paulina agrees with. Stephanie knows someone who can handle this discretely, if she will let her give them a call.

Bo continues reading his file about how he was raised a Brady, but by blood, he is Victor Kiriakis’ son. Bo then has flashbacks to Victor. Bo continues reading that it explains why he was the black sheep of the Brady clan and that he shares a dark side with Megan.

Megan argues that there must be something Dr. Rolf can do to ensure that he is hopelessly devoted to only her and then they can use the serum to turn back time and go back to the good old days before Hope ruined everything.

Harris is taken out of shock therapy and tells Hope that he’s alright. Dr. Frankel asks what he remembers. Harris flashes back to Megan and Dr. Rolf brainwashing him. Harris recalls being in a lab with them and a tube like container in the room with someone inside. Hope asks who it was.

Steve tells Abe that if only had they had other leads on Megan, they wouldn’t be totally at the mercy of Harris Michaels. Steve hates the thought of Megan walking around free. Abe feels Steve is letting this quest take over his life. Steve knows he thinks this is no way to deal with his grief, but says it’s the only thing getting him out of bed in the morning as it helps him avoid thinking about life without Kayla. Abe tells him that he will have to eventually and his friends are there for him for whatever he needs.

Chad joins Stephanie and Paulina at the office and asks what the hell happened. Stephanie says someone tore the place up. Chad asks if they know who did it but Stephanie says it was this way when they got there. Chad assumes the police have been called but Stephanie says not yet. Chad asks why not. Paulina explains that she wants this handled with the most utmost discretion. Stephanie responds that she’s about to do just that as long as Paulina agrees with her plan.

Hope asks Harris if he has any idea who could have been in the tube. Harris flashbacks and says the glass was obscured by fog so he couldn’t see their face. Hope asks if he remembers anything else from the room. Harris remembers a chart or nautical map where he remembers seeing coordinates. Hope has Harris write down what he remembers as Harris states that the map could lead right to Megan and whoever else she might be keeping.

Bo thinks back again to Kate asking where the Bo she knew was mixed in with flashbacks of Victor and Hope.

Dr. Rolf tells Megan that Bo will either need to be cooperative or coerced if she wants him to perform a tune up on him. Megan responds that she has a plan A and a plan B. Megan tells Dr. Rolf to just keep working on the serum. Megan takes a syringe and exits the lab.

Shawn arrives at Paulina’s office. Stephanie thanks him for coming so fast and says this is exactly how they found the office. Shawn notes that there’s no sign of forced entry and asks if Paulina is sure nothing is missing. Paulina says no. Shawn talks about this being weird and asks Paulina if she’s sure that no one got a hold of a spare key. Paulina questions if he’s saying this is her fault. Shawn says he’s just covering all bases. Shawn wants to get forensics in to dust for prints. Paulina says he doesn’t need to do that because she can tell him who is responsible. Paulina tells Shawn to go ahead and do his job by arresting Sloan Peterson.

Abe asks Steve what he intends to do with Megan when he finds her. Steve responds that it’s probably best Abe doesn’t hear the answer to that. Steve then gets a call from Hope and asks what she found. Hope responds that they may have a general location and says she will text him what they have. Steve agrees to check it out and says he and John will hop on a plane to meet her there as they hang up.

Hope tells Harris that she’s sorry but she has to get going. Harris starts to get up but he collapses.

Bo continues reading his file which says there was a side of Bo that was attracted to Megan and under the right circumstances, he might once again welcome her with open arms. Megan then enters the lab, holding her syringe behind her back.

Days of Our Lives Update

Xander walks through the town square with a coffee. Leo walks up and acts like it’s for him, so he takes the coffee and drinks it. Xander tells him to just keep it. Leo mentions not getting much sleep last night. Xander asks if he was digging in the trash again for his next column. Leo argues that after the success of his first column, he has people lining up around the block to give him more gossip. Leo says he has more sources than he can count which should make Xander happy. Leo adds that his column will have the Spectator back in the black in no time. Xander questions what did keep Leo up last night if he wasn’t picking up scoops. Xander then remarks that he has no interest in hearing about Leo’s sex life. Leo then informs him that it wasn’t his sex life that robbed him of his rest, it was Gwen’s.

Gwen and Alex lay in bed together after having sex again. Alex tells her that she was incredible. Gwen says he wasn’t so bad himself. Alex asks if she has no more regrets about hooking up with him again. Alex knows Xander isn’t thrilled with them being friends with extremely good benefits. Gwen responds that Xander’s opinion doesn’t matter to her anymore and that’s the last she wants to talk about him. Alex says that’s good with him. Gwen says she’d much rather talk about him as they continue kissing.

At the Titan office, Maggie calls her secretary to send Alex in but she’s informed that Alex is not there. Brady then arrives and brings her flowers to congratulate her on her new job as CEO. Brady states that the family business could not be in better hands. Maggie thanks him. Brady admits he was a bit surprised that Victor passed over Alex for her. Maggie notes that Alex wasn’t happy about it but she thinks he’s coming around. Maggie adds that Alex should be here by now since they have a very important meeting this morning with a content syndicator who is interested in distributing digital articles from Titan publications. Brady jokes that she sounds like she’s been in charge of a major conglomerate for her whole life. Brady says he’s so proud of her. Maggie thanks him and says that means a lot. Brady hopes Victor doesn’t keep her so busy at Titan that she doesn’t have time to be his sponsor at AA meetings. Maggie assures that she would never let anything get in the way of her being there for him. Brady is glad to hear that as he admits the whole situation with Chloe has been tough and he’s been struggling a bit. Maggie says she’s sorry to hear that and asks if he’s been going to meetings. Brady admits he has not but says he will as Maggie hugs him.

Chloe exits her room at the Salem Inn and gets a call from prison which turns out to be from Kristen DiMera.

Chad brings Stephanie breakfast in bed. Chad notes that it’s the first night she slept over so he thought that was worth celebrating. Chad kisses her and says he wanted to thank her for forgiving him for opening his big mouth to Leo.

Leo asks if Xander is curious who Gwen was with last night. Xander claims he couldn’t care less. Leo then says if he doesn’t care then he won’t mind knowing as he exclaims that it was Xander’s smoking hot cousin, Alex.

Alex and Gwen continue kissing in bed until Alex tells her that he has to get to work as there’s a big morning meeting at Titan and Maggie will kick his ass if he shows up late. Alex mentions taking a quick shower, so Gwen suggests they shower together. Alex calls that a damn good plan as they get out of bed.

Chloe asks what Kristen wants. Kristen asks if that’s any way to talk to her future sister in law. Kristen then says she won’t be and that Chloe is nothing to her now that Stefan came to his senses and dumped her pathetic ass. Chloe argues that Stefan didn’t come to his senses, he was deprogrammed. Chloe reminds Kristen of her brainwashing scheme and says she was so desperate to keep her and Brady apart. Chloe declares that she doesn’t have time for this and tells Kristen to go to Hell. Kristen warns Chloe not to hang up as she has something that she needs to hear.

Paulina joins Abe at the Brady Pub. Abe informs her that he already ordered for them but Paulina says she wants pancakes, scrambled eggs, and bacon because they are celebrating and breakfast is on her. Abe assumes that Belle succeeded in getting her assets unfrozen then. Paulina reveals that Belle got the whole case dismissed and declares that Sloan is out of their lives forever.

Stephanie tells Chad that she knows he was only trying to defend her. Chad says he should’ve let her handle it and not brought up her mom, especially not to Leo. Stephanie understands he was just trying to get Leo to back off. Stephanie apologizes for being so hard on him. Chad says he’s sorry too and jokes that the good thing about their first fight is they got to spend all night making up as they then kiss.

Leo tells Xander about how Gwen sent him an urgent text that she was bringing Alex home so he needed to get out and since Xander banned him from sleeping at the office, he ended up on one of the lounge sofas at the Salem Inn. Xander can’t believe it and angrily complains that he warned Alex to stay away from Gwen but he didn’t listen. Leo comments that he’s not in a position to tell two hot people not to do what hot people do best. Leo reminds Xander that he had his chance with Gwen. Leo says he has to get to work, so he’ll see him at the office and walks off.

Brady tells Maggie that he just thought that once the situation with Stefan was resolved, he and Chloe would be fine and be together but he feels like they are further apart than they’ve ever been because of his daughter, Rachel. Brady says that Rachel has never had an unkind word to say about anybody until the last couple months and now she despises Chloe. Brady asks how the hell to handle that. Maggie offers to talk to her but Brady doesn’t think it would do any good because Kristen did such a good job of turning Rachel against Chloe, that anytime someone brings up the subject, she shuts down, goes on the attack, or has a tantrum. Maggie wishes she could say she was surprised by Kristen using her own daughter, but they both know Kristen will stop at nothing to get what she wants. Brady states that Kristen’s main goal in life right now is just to keep him and Chloe apart.

Chloe asks Kristen what the hell she needs to hear. Kristen says she’s heard it before and remarks that Stefan dumped her for someone who actually has a personality which means Chloe is on the market again. Kristen warns Chloe to stay the hell away from Brady. Chloe responds that who she decides to date is none of her damn business. Kristen argues that it is when it concerns the welfare of her daughter. Leo comes around the corner at the Inn and stops behind Chloe to listen in. Chloe repeats to Kristen that she would never do anything to hurt Rachel. Kristen remarks that she obviously hasn’t endeared herself to her. Kristen tells Chloe that Rachel can’t stand the sight of her. Chloe blames Kristen for doing everything in her power to turn Rachel against her. Kristen claims she didn’t have to do much because Rachel is an excellent judge of character. Chloe then remarks that Kristen’s sweet Rachel has turned in to a little monster and warns that if they aren’t careful, she will grow up to be just as deranged as her mother. Leo smiles while continuing to listen in behind Chloe.

Abe tells Paulina that it’s good to see her beautiful smile again. Paulina says he can expect that more now that they are rid of Sloan and her awful lies. Paulina then asks where Abe’s smile is. Abe responds that he’s relieved that Sloan’s bogus civil case has been thrown out, but admits he’s concerned about her latest threat against her and Chanel. Paulina argues that Sloan’s not scaring anybody anymore. Paulina says that the biggest mistake they made was giving Sloan a drop of their energy to feed off of. Paulina declares that she knows the perfect way to move on and pulls out her phone. Abe asks who she is calling. Paulina says it’s someone more than capable in letting the entire world know that Paulina Price is back in business and better than ever.

Stephanie guesses her and Chad’s first sleepover at his house is officially over. Chad hopes it’s the first of many. Stephanie says it better be. They kiss until Stephanie gets a call from Paulina. Paulina says she needs Stephanie and Chad to meet her at the Brady Pub. Stephanie says she’ll see her soon and hangs up. Stephanie informs Chad that they have been summoned to the Pub and Paulina sounded very chipper. Chad says he knows not to keep Paulina waiting, so they exit together.

Kristen complains about Chloe calling her daughter a monster and says if anyone is a monster, it’s Chloe. Chloe apologizes and says she didn’t mean it, blaming it on Kristen for pushing her buttons. Kristen argues that Chloe blames everything on her and says Chloe just expressed her hatred for her daughter. Chloe yells at Kristen to never call her again and hangs up. Leo finishes taking notes and walks by. Chloe says she didn’t see him there. Leo says that was obvious or else he doubts she would’ve called Brady’s daughter a little monster. Leo talks about taking notes and says it’s clear that Chloe despises Rachel for wrecking her relationship with Brady. Chloe pleads with Leo not to print what he overheard but Leo says he’ll be seeing her on the gossip page and walks off.

Xander sits in the town square, angrily drinking his coffee as Alex and Gwen come out of the Salem Inn together. Alex tells Gwen that he had a great time last night and this morning as they kiss. Alex suggests they do it again sometime. Xander approaches and comments on their double walk of shame. Alex asks who is ashamed. Xander says he wasn’t talking to him. Gwen asks why she should be ashamed. Xander comments on Gwen inviting Salem’s most notorious man slut in to her bed and remarks that he hopes they used protection because God knows what kind of STDs Alex has. Alex tells Xander that’s enough. Xander asks Alex what his sloppy seconds were like. Alex warns Xander to watch his mouth. Xander asks what he’s going to do if he doesn’t. Gwen tells Alex to just walk away. Xander tells Alex to listen to his playmate before he has to teach him a lesson. Alex shoves Xander, so Xander then punches Alex. Alex responds by tackling Xander.

Stephanie and Chad join Paulina and Abe at the Brady Pub. Stephanie asks Paulina what was so urgent. Paulina happily announces that Sloan’s lawsuit has been thrown out which means she is now once again in control of all her vast real estate. Stephanie and Chad congratulate her. Paulina says there will be plenty of time to celebrate later and right now, she wants SJP to print out a press release announcing her victory as she wants everyone to know if that if you mess with her, you best be prepared to lose because she is a woman who never backs down from a fight.

Gwen gets in between Alex and Xander, telling them to stop fighting. Gwen reminds Alex that he’s already late for work so they should get going. Xander calls that a great idea, joking that Alex wouldn’t want Maggie to bust out the ruler on him. Gwen holds Alex back and asks him to just go. Alex tells Gwen that he will call her later and kisses her. Alex warns Xander that this isn’t over. Xander says anytime, anywhere as Alex then walks away. Gwen then questions what the hell is wrong with Xander. Xander argues that Alex shoved him first. Gwen asks why he’s doing this since he made it very clear that he didn’t want her, so she questions why he cares if somebody else does. Xander argues that Alex isn’t good enough for her. Gwen asks if Xander thinks of her as sloppy seconds now that Sarah is gone. Xander says that was just talk. Gwen doesn’t want his apologies. Gwen says she took him at his word when he said he didn’t see a future with her and that’s fine, but she’ll be damned if his antics prevent her from moving on with her life. Gwen declares that what she does with Alex is none of Xander’s concern. Gwen tells Xander to leave them the hell alone and storms off.

Brady visits Kristen in prison. Kristen says she was surprised that he wanted to see her. Kristen guesses that Chloe came crying to him about their little tiff. Brady says he knows nothing about that and hasn’t spoken to Chloe. Brady questions why Chloe would come to see her anyway. Kristen says they spoke on the telephone. Brady suggests Kristen leave Chloe the hell alone. Kristen claims she merely called to offer her condolences on the end of Chloe’s relationship with Stefan and then Chloe got testy and called their daughter a monster. Brady stops her and says he doesn’t want to hear it. Kristen mocks how she can’t say one bad word about Chloe. Brady doesn’t know why he tries with her. Brady has a picture that Rachel drew for Kristen in art class. Kristen asks to see it but Brady says he wants something from her first.

Leo goes to his room at the Salem Inn and starts typing on his laptop, commenting that thanks to Chloe not using her inside voice, his second gossip column is going to put the first one to shame. Chloe shows up at his door. Leo jokes about writing his new column. Chloe cries that he can’t print that column since he only heard one side of the conversation that was taken out of context. Leo says he’s sorry but he has a responsibility to his readers. Chloe pleads with him and says she’s desperate. Leo asks how desperate she is.

Stephanie tells Paulina that they are so relieved that she and Chanel can finally put this whole nightmare behind them. Chad assures that SJPR will put tons of positive press behind any of her business ventures. Paulina says she will be counting on that and suggests she and Stephanie sign a new contract for her to handle all of her PR needs. Abe says that will give he and Chad a chance to catch up so Paulina and Stephanie exit together.

Chloe offers to pay Leo off. Leo questions if she’s attempting to bribe him from printing the truth. Chloe tells him to just take the money and do the right thing for once by keeping an innocent child from getting hurt even more. Leo asks if she means the innocent child that she called a monster that’s going to turn out like her deranged mother. Chloe argues that he wasn’t supposed to hear that and calls it a mistake that she deeply regrets. Chloe asks if Leo’s never said anything that he wishes he could take back. Leo calls regrets a waste of time. Chloe asks what will buy his silence if cash won’t work. Leo brings up that he has a big fan of Basic Black’s latest men’s line but Chloe informs him that she no longer works there which Leo says he hadn’t heard. Leo points out that maybe Nicole could hook her up. Chloe agrees to call her. Leo asks for one of everything from the men’s collection and then no one will have to know about her hateful outburst. Chloe screams fine and storms out.

Kristen questions what kind of game Brady is playing. Brady responds that she’s the one who likes games and he’s just trying to stay one step ahead of her. Brady says Kristen can have Rachel’s drawing as soon as she helps convince Rachel to ease up on Chloe. Kristen says no chance and tells him that he can keep the picture. Brady warns that he can withhold much more than just a drawing from her. Kristen asks what that means. Brady says she knows exactly what that means and calls it a symbol of what she could lose. Brady orders Kristen to write a letter to Rachel, saying she’s no longer harboring animosity towards Chloe and that she is fine with he and Chloe being together. Brady warns that if she doesn’t, she’s not going to see Rachel ever again.

Chloe exits the Salem Inn and calls Nicole, saying she needs one of everything from the men’s line sent to Leo Stark ASAP and that she’ll explain later. Chloe says she really appreciates this and owes her one. Chloe thanks her and hangs up. Chloe then sees Xander sitting on the bench nearby with ice on his hand and asks what happened to him. Xander tells her about punching Alex because he’s sleeping with his ex. Chloe assumes he means Sarah but then realizes and can’t believe they are fighting over Gwen. Chloe calls Gwen just as slimy as Leo, who she calls sadistic. Xander asks about her being pissed at Leo. Chloe informs him that Leo just blackmailed her. Xander asks what he’s holding over her. Chloe refuses to say or else she’ll have two people blackmailing her. Xander assures he won’t do that and states that while Leo works for him, he’s not his biggest fan. Chloe then informs Xander that Leo overheard her saying something negative about Brady’s daughter and now he’s threatening to put it in his column unless she gives him thousands of dollars worth of Basic Black merchandise.

Alex goes to the Titan office and tells Maggie that he’s sorry he’s late. Maggie questions him being sorry when they are due in the conference room in five minutes. Maggie asks what happened to his face. Alex responds that Xander happened. Maggie starts to ask but then decides she doesn’t want to know. Maggie says she needs to get to the meeting. Alex says he’ll freshen up and be right behind her. Maggie says she can’t have Titan looking like a gang of hooligans and then points out that he has blood on his shirt, so she declares that she’s taking this meeting alone. Maggie warns that when she gets back, they are going to have a serious conversation about his future at this company. Maggie then exits the office. Alex sits at the desk and looks in the mirror as Gwen arrives to check on him. Alex complains that Maggie is already totally fed up with him. Gwen blames herself but Alex says he’s the one that let Xander get under his skin and he started the fight. Gwen points out that Xander targeted him because of her. Gwen suggests maybe they should just call it quits. Alex says no way and that a little bump on the head is not going to scare him off. Alex thinks they should let this ride and see where it takes them. Gwen agrees that it sounds like a plan as they kiss.

Chloe gets a call back from Nicole that all the clothes were just delivered to Leo. Chloe thanks Nicole and says she owes her life to her. Chloe tells her she loves her and hangs up. Chloe declares that she is now off the hook and safe from Leo’s column. Xander says it appears not as he then reveals that Leo just published his new column, showing Chloe that it says that Chloe called Brady’s daughter a deranged monster just like her mother. Chloe can’t believe it and calls Leo a double crossing snake. Chloe says she and Brady finally had a chance for a fresh start. Xander encourages that they still can and suggests telling him it’s just lies. Chloe cries that it’s not and she actually said that. Chloe complains that she let Kristen goad her in to insulting their daughter and now when Brady sees this, she’s going to lose him forever. Chloe breaks down crying so Xander hugs her.

Kristen asks Brady if this is how it’s going to be until Rachel is 18 with a tug of war of threats. Brady argues that she made it this way when he didn’t want it to be. Brady blames Kristen for using their daughter as a weapon against the woman he loves. Kristen accuses Brady of using her love for her daughter against her. Kristen shouts that he’s no better than she is. Brady says maybe not, but he’s the one holding the cards right now. Kristen says fine and that she’ll write Chloe a letter of recommendation to their daughter if that will satisfy him. Brady orders her to make it glowing.

Abe tells Chad that he and Stephanie seem to be getting along pretty well these days. Chad confirms things are good and the kids love her. Chad knows Abe knows how hard it is to move on after losing the love of your life. Abe admits he never thought he’d find love again after losing Lexie, but Paulina makes him very happy. Chad calls that obvious. Abe notes that Stephanie makes Chad feel the same way as they joke about being lucky.

Paulina and Stephanie go to Paulina’s office building. Paulina comments on Stephanie’s satisfying grin all morning and the twinkle in her eye. Paulina guesses it’s because Chad has been lighting up her days and hopefully her nights too. Stephanie says she likes to remain professional but admits that Chad has been lighting up her days and her nights. Stephanie jokes that she knew it and can sense these things. Paulina is so happy for her after the awfulness with Alex. Paulina encourages that Stephanie has a winner now like she has with Abe. Paulina and Stephanie then head inside to Paulina’s office, only to find the office has been trashed.

Days of Our Lives Update

Paulina walks through the town square and greets Chanel at the Bakery. Paulina sees that Chanel is removing the “Help Wanted” sign from the bakery and starts talking about how she’s sorry she had to put her foot down but reminds Chanel that the court won’t let her hire anyone. Chanel then stops her and reveals that she already did hire someone.

Jada and her sister Talia have breakfast at the Brady Pub. Jada praises the muffins while Talia is unsure, feeling they could use brown sugar and caramel. Talia comments that she still can’t believe Jada gets to roll out of bed and have breakfast like this waiting downstairs. Jada tells Talia not to get too used to it, reminding her that now that she has a job, she will have to get her own place. Jada jokes that she doesn’t plan on sharing her bed with her little sister forever. Talia then questions why not, remarking that it’s not like she’s sharing it with anybody else.

Rafe goes to the DiMera Mansion. Stefan answers the door and questions why he’s making a house call. Rafe says he comes with documents and notes that he still thinks Stefan is making a mistake, but if he wants to drop the charges against Brady and Eric, then he will have to sign on the dotted line. Stefan confirms that he does and invites Rafe in. Stefan says it’s not like he enjoyed being kidnapped and worked over by a mad scientist, but he can’t complain about the end result. Rafe says he made that clear. Stefan questions why the police commissioner found it necessary to run this errand in person. Rafe admits he’s not just here to have him sign the documents as he’s also here about his sister, Gabi.

Li is at home on the phone, saying they won’t regret taking this meeting with his wife. Li praises Gabi as she comes out of her room and he greets her.

Eric and Sloan kiss in bed. Sloan calls it a very enjoyable morning so far. Eric gets an alert on his phone which he explains is for if there’s any job openings for a photographer. Eric notes that his nights have been filled thanks to her but he needs to fill his daytime hours.

Nicole and EJ kiss in bed which EJ calls a lovely way to wake up. EJ says he slept better than he has in a long time. Nicole jokes that not having a drug induced hangover probably helped. Nicole adds that maybe it also helped that he and Stefan finally sat down to hash everything out. EJ informs her that there’s a bit more to the story about that. Nicole asks him to fill her in. EJ confirms that they hashed things out, but that doesn’t mean everything is settled as it’s far from it. EJ reveals that Stefan may not know it, but he’s as committed as he ever was to taking Stefan down.

Nicole tells Eric to stop the alert and job search. Eric responds that he needs a job. Sloan says she gets that, but not just any job, noting that he’s incredibly talented and a wonderful photographer. Sloan suggests Eric should be his own boss and open up his own gallery.

Nicole tells EJ that she doesn’t understand. EJ says he said all the right things but he had his fingers crossed behind his back and he’s sure Stefan did too. EJ adds that Stefan still wants what he’s always wanted and that’s Li out of the way, Gabi in his life, and the two of them running DiMera which he is not going to allow to happen, so he has to stop Stefan and Gabi from teaming up to oust him. EJ declares that he will stop that by forming his own team, which he’s already done, with Li Shin.

Li finishes his call and asks Gabi how much she heard. Gabi says she heard his comments about her which Li calls all sincere. Li asks if Gabi wants the deal to go through with her fashion line. Gabi complains that she hadn’t even agreed to go to the store but he’s already setting it up. Li remarks that she seemed intrigued enough last night since she took all the paperwork to bed. Gabi says she was curious but that doesn’t mean she’s ready to make a deal. Li calls it just an initial meeting and assures no one is going to rush her in to anything. Li wants Gabi to have an outlet for her incredible creativity. Li adds that if he’s being too pushy, he can always call back and cancel the meeting.

Rafe assumes that Gabi living with Li bugs the hell out of Stefan as much as it does him. Stefan admits he hates it a lot. Rafe admits he doesn’t know all the details of their arrangement considering Gabi stopped confiding him since she knows how he feels about Li. Stefan asks how that compares to how he feels about him. Rafe states that Li makes Stefan look good, so he hopes Stefan hasn’t given up on getting Gabi away from Li. Stefan assures that he’s never giving up on that. Rafe advises Stefan to be careful since Li already tried to pull the plug on him once and he doesn’t like competition. Stefan responds that he is no competition because he’s going to blow that son of a bitch out of the water.

Eric questions Sloan thinking he should open a gallery. Sloan informs him that while she was having trouble sleeping last night, she went through his portfolio for an hour and sees that he would have no trouble filling a gallery’s walls, especially with the photos he took in Africa. Eric insists that he needs a job. Sloan thinks he needs to take charge of his career. Eric appreciates her support, but reminds her that it takes money to buy the supplies and the space for a gallery, so he questions how he’s supposed to find that. Sloan responds that she has the perfect place and it’s called Sweet Bits Bakery.

Chanel informs Paulina that she hired Talia and she’s perfect for Sweet Bits. Paulina complains that Chanel is forgetting that they can’t start throwing money around since every cent they spend is being watched by the court. Chanel can’t believe Sloan got the judge to sign off on a plan like this. Chanel asks if Belle is working on getting the freeze on their accounts reversed. Paulina assures that Belle is trying and hoping to get the case dismissed, but they have to be realistic. Chanel argues that she can’t run a bakery without any help, so she needs to lock Talia down before she loses her. Chanel adds that Talia worked at one of the most successful bakeries in New York City, so she has to offer her a competitive salary or someone else is going to snap her up in no time. Paulina guesses that she needs to win the lottery then.

Jada questions Talia giving her grief about her love life. Talia says she was just joking and says she’s too sensitive. Talia points out that she’s not with anyone either and calls them independent women who do just fine on their own. Jada agrees and toasts to them both flying solo. Talia then asks Jada how long it’s been since she was not flying solo. Jada thought they were dropping the subject. Talia accepts that it’s none of her business. Jada decides she has nothing to hide and informs Talia that she broke up with someone a few months ago. Talia calls that a long time compared to her break up being pretty recent. Jada assures that she’s fine. Talia asks if there’s at least someone new on the horizon. Rafe then enters the Pub.

EJ explains to Nicole that after he and Stefan got honest with each other, he invited Li over to tell him that he’s willing to join forces, so now Li knows he fully supports him getting back with Gabi and is willing to do whatever it takes to help make that happen. Nicole asks what he told Li happened between he and Stefan. EJ assures he told him nothing that he can use against him and Li only knows what he wants him to hear. EJ adds that Li only heard what he wanted to hear anyway and says he’s cooked up a wonderful distraction for Gabi that she might just fall for.

Gabi tells Li not to cancel the meeting since it won’t look good to bail now. Gabi agrees to go and see what happens. Li encourages that she will impress the hell out of everyone and they’ll all forget about Gabi Chic and will be blown away by her new designs. Gabi says he can dial down the flattery because she knows how good she is. Gabi decides she will go get ready for the meeting. Li says he will too and then he’ll make her a breakfast to remember.

EJ explains to Nicole that Gabi will have her new fashion line in department stores, so while Stefan will be sneaking around trying to steal a few moments with Gabi, she will be sleeping just a few feet from the man who will have revived the artistic side of her career. Nicole points out that Gabi is in love with Stefan and she mourned him for years, so she won’t be able to stay away from him. EJ says that’s where things get interesting as he informs Nicole of the contract that Gabi must stay in the marriage for six months to get Li’s DiMera shares, but only if she remains faithful. EJ feels he could take advantage of that. Nicole worries that EJ is playing a dangerous game and asks what if Stefan finds out what he’s doing behind his back. EJ responds that he likes taking risks and calls that the fun in life. Nicole feels it depends on the risk. EJ jokes that getting involved with someone romantically is a risk, since one could get their heart broken, but it’s still definitely fun which Nicole agrees with. Nicole says it’s definitely worth the risk as they kiss.

Stefan looks at a photo of Gabi on his phone and then goes to her number.

Li starts getting dressed in front of Gabi, so she questions what the hell he’s doing. Li reminds her that the living room is his bedroom, unless she wants to change their sleeping arrangements and let him in to her bedroom. Gabi says nice try and decides to go get ready herself. Gabi tells Li what she wants for breakfast as she heads to her bedroom. Gabi left her phone behind as Stefan calls. Li answers the phone. Stefan questions what the hell he is doing answering Gabi’s phone.

Eric questions Sloan telling him that Sweet Bits is going out of business. Sloan says that Paulina and Chanel might not know it yet, but once she wins her case, that space will belong to her. She asks what better use for it than Eric’s gallery. Eric asks if she’s sure about this being a good idea. Sloan gets that he doesn’t want to take business away from Chanel, but says that’s her job and she’s really looking forward to doing it. Sloan says that Eric will just benefit and with the cash she wins from the case, she could even be an investor too. Sloan encourages Eric to say yes as they kiss until her phone rings. Sloan answers the call and is shocked by what she hears.

Chanel complains to Paulina that she hates this never ending war with Sloan. Paulina says she does too but it is war, so they have to think strategically. Paulina worries that if Chanel hires Talia, it will look like she’s trying to put one over on the court and the judge will penalize her, then Sloan wins. Paulina gets a call from Belle, who tells her some surprising news. Chanel questions what she said. Paulina responds that she doesn’t know what they are going to do with all this free time as she announces that Belle got the case thrown out. Chanel can’t believe it as Paulina tells her that their longshot came through. Paulina declares that they are free of that witch at last as they hug.

Rafe greets Jada and Talia. Rafe asks if Talia is enjoying her time in Salem so far. Talia jokes that she was until about 20 minutes ago when Jada said she was cramping her style and needed to move out. Jada tells Rafe to ignore her. Rafe aks what they were talking about when he walked in as it seemed kind of intense. Talia says it’s funny he asks but Jada interrupts and reminds her that she has to get to work. Talia talks about having to get used to early morning shifts now that she’s going to be a baker. Jada questions Talia working at a bakery. Talia confirms her job is at Sweet Bits in the town square and asks if she knows it. Rafe asks what’s wrong with that and says they have the best donuts in town. Jada questions what is going on and why Talia would work as a baker. Talia asks what’s wrong with bakers. Jada says nothing but points out that is not Talia’s chosen field. Rafe questions what he’s missing. Jada informs him that Talia is not a baker and reveals that she’s a doctor! Rafe is surprised as Talia confirms she has a medical degree. Jada points out that she graduated from Stanford in the top five percent of her class. Jada questions how working as a baker is using any of her talents. Talia argues that she’s a very talented baker. Jada says when Talia got a job, she assumed it was at the hospital and that her dream was always to follow their dad’s footsteps. Talia clarifies that it was only their dad’s dream for her to follow him in to medicine but that doesn’t make it her dream. Jada points out that she worked so hard and questions who walks away from a career like that. Talia says she does and that she doesn’t want to be late, so she says bye to Rafe and Jada as she then exits the Pub. Jada wonders if Chanel knows how overqualified her new baker is.

Chanel tells Paulina that this means she can hire Talia and doesn’t have to fire her which Paulina encourages. Chanel says they owe Belle big time. Paulina agrees and exclaims that Belle left Sloan in the dust. Paulina wonders how Sloan is taking it.

Sloan begins throwing things in her apartment. Eric gets up and tries to encourage her that it’s going to be okay. Sloan complains that everything relied on that lawsuit and it’s over. Sloan cries that Paulina and Chanel are murderers and they’ve won again. Eric reminds her that it was just a civil case so no one was going to prison and she has money. Sloan shouts that it was never about money as they tore her family apart and they just keep getting away with it. Sloan screams that everybody loves Paulina and Chanel except her and refuses to forget about her mother being pushed off a roof to her death as she breaks down crying. Eric tells her that he’s sorry and assures that he’s on her side. Sloan cries that this lawsuit was her last shot at justice for her mom as Eric hugs her.

Li asks Stefan if he can help him. Stefan tells him to give Gabi her phone back. Li says he’s afraid that his wife is a little busy and doesn’t have time for chit chat as she’s getting dressed for a very important meeting which Stefan questions. Li is sure Gabi will tell him if she thinks it’s any of his business, but it’s not his place. Stefan warns him that the clock is ticking on his six months while Li warns that he knows what will happen if Stefan keeps calling or if he somehow tempts Gabi in to some secret rendezvous. Stefan asks if the thought of that scares him to death. Li says it should scare Gabi since if she fails to resist him, she’ll lose all those DiMera shares and have Stefan to thank for it because he couldn’t keep it in his pants. Li tells Stefan to do himself and Gabi a favor and stay away from her as he then hangs up on him. Stefan throws his phone out of the room in frustration as EJ and Nicole enter. EJ asks Stefan if there’s a problem.

Paulina calls Belle back and thanks her for all of her hard work, saying she doesn’t know how much this means to her and Chanel and that they are eternally grateful. Paulina hangs up as Chanel begins revising the budget for Sweet Bits and says she can bring back some popular items and she’ll actually be able to pay her new employee. Talia then walks up and says she didn’t know that was an issue but she’s glad she will be able to. Chanel greets Talia and introduces her to Paulina. Paulina notes Talia’s last name of Hunter and asks if she has any relation to Jada. Talia confirms that is her sister and asks if she knows her. Paulina says no but she knows of her because her partner arrested her once.

Jada tells Rafe that she doesn’t get it since Talia spent all those years in medical school just to become a baker. Rafe suggests she’s changing her life and following her dream while Jada argues that Talia’s dream was to become a doctor which she pursued with a vengeance. Jada knows trying to set Talia straight would be a waste of breath. Rafe relates to that with trying to advise his siblings over the years. They agree that they love their younger siblings and they will never stop trying to rescue them from themselves.

Gabi gets ready to go then questions why Li is dressed up and if he thought he was going with her. Li points out that he was the go-between that set this up. Gabi argues that it’s her pitch and she doesn’t need help with that. Li confirms they are expecting both of them. Gabi starts to say she can just tell them something but then she sees on her phone that Stefan called which she questions.

Stefan informs EJ and Nicole that his problem is named Li Shin, who just told him that Gabi is too busy to talk because she’s headed to some important business meeting. Stefan says he’s sure Li made the whole thing up as another ploy to keep them apart. Nicole suggests maybe it wasn’t made up since word on the street is Gabi may be partnering with stores for a new fashion line, noting that she hears things at Basic Black. Stefan argues that if that were true, Gabi would have told him about it and he would’ve heard first. EJ says he can’t speak to Gabi’s willingness to share information, but it sounds like Li is trying to get Gabi interested in a new business venture so that she loses interest in his DiMera shares and by extension, Stefan. Stefan says there’s no way that’s going to happen since Gabi loves him and she wants nothing more than to be back together. Stefan declares that there’s no way Li can distract her by shining some business opportunity in her face. EJ points out that if Gabi gives in to her feelings for Stefan, she could lose her DiMera shares. Stefan then questions how he knows about that.

Rafe offers Jada a ride to the police station which she accepts. Rafe brings up wondering what Jada and Talia were talking about when he walked in, noting the look on their faces when he came in. Jada then gets a call from Shawn and says they’ve been trading information on a case so Rafe can go ahead to the station as she answers the call.

Talia tells Paulina and Chanel that she never went to culinary school as she had a different focus, but baking is just something she knows. Sloan interrupts and asks if Talia also knows that she’s talking to a couple of criminals. Sloan guesses they think they’ve won. Paulina says they know they have. Sloan tells her that she’s wrong and that she hasn’t given up on making them pay. Talia tells Sloan that she doesn’t know what her problem is, but she can’t just talk to them like that. Sloan responds that they are her problem. Sloan calls Chanel a murderer and says Paulina covered it up. Sloan remarks that her lawyer may have pulled a rabbit out of the hat but she hasn’t won. Paulina tells Sloan that she has lost and will keep losing, so she suggests finding something better to do with her time than hurting her and her family. Paulina argues that she and Chanel have done nothing wrong. Sloan decides maybe she doesn’t need court to get her revenge and asks if they ever thought of that as she walks off.

Gabi questions Li not telling her that Stefan called. Li says she saw the notification before he had the chance. Li adds that it was a very brief conversation as Stefan asked for her but he told him that she was busy preparing for the meeting. Gabi complains that she doesn’t need a secretary or Li answering her phone without her permission. Li apologizes and says he wasn’t thinking. Li suggests she call Stefan back now if she’d like. Li notes that it might make them late for the meeting but they could probably make up the time. Gabi says she doesn’t want to be late and reminds him that it’s only her. Li points out that they are expecting him too, so he doesn’t want them wondering why he didn’t show up as that would be an unnecessary distraction. Li says he wouldn’t want to spoil her pitch before she even gets to make it. Gabi tells Li that he’s driving. Li smiles and follows her out.

Eric goes through some of his pictures and come across a photo of Nicole.

EJ claims to Stefan that Wendy mentioned the morals clause in their contract. Stefan is surprised that Li would confide that to Wendy and that Wendy would just share it with him. Nicole jokes that no one ever accused Wendy of discretion. EJ apologizes if he spoke out of turn and says he didn’t know the clause was on a need to know basis. EJ states that he doesn’t envy him as it certainly is a very tricky situation. Stefan complains that Li is watching them like a hawk, waiting for he and Gabi to give in to their feelings for each other and he can’t figure out a way around it. Nicole suggests maybe she could help by arranging for he and Gabi to meet privately, since Li’s not watching her. Stefan calls that a very kind offer. Nicole says she’s a romantic at heart and she really wants Stefan and Gabi to be happy together. Nicole adds that since Stefan and EJ have made peace, she’s on Stefan’s side as much as EJ is. Stefan agrees that would be amazing and thanks her. Nicole says she’ll get to work and let him know when she’s come up with something. Stefan tells her that he’s very grateful and he knows Gabi will be too. Nicole and EJ then exit the room. EJ praises Nicole, who says she was just following the plan. EJ declares that now they just need Li to catch them in the act and it’s bye bye to Gabi’s shares and control of DiMera. EJ hopes that Stefan makes it worth it.

Days of Our Lives Update

Kayla asks Dr. Rolf who was in the cryogenic chamber if it wasn’t Stefano. Rolf responds that he never said it wasn’t Stefano. Kayla brings up that he said he kept this person alive for a decade. Marlena and Kayla pretend to be impressed and encourage Dr. Rolf to share his achievement. He admits there might not be harm in bragging about one of his greatest successes.

Megan declares there’s no point in dragging this out any further and instructs Bo to go ahead and kill Kate. Kate tells Bo that he doesn’t want to do that and tells Megan to call him off. Megan points out that Kate destroyed the serum so she has no use to her at all. Kate asks for a second chance and pleads with Bo. Megan thinks Bo does want to do it but Bo says that Kate is right. Megan questions what he’s doing. Bo points out that it could get messy and she wouldn’t want blood all over the lab. Bo suggests taking this outside which Megan calls a great idea. Megan instructs Bo to kill Kate outside and to then leave her to rot.

Hope finishes her call with Andrew, thanking him and says she’ll be in touch. Hope hangs up and informs John and Steve that ISA granted visiting access to Harris Michaels. Steve wants to go but Hope says they should go back to Salem. John questions her not wanting to come with her. Hope calls this something that she needs to do on her own. Hope looks up Harris Michaels on her tablet.

Dr. Rolf says he has brought people back from the dead, but in this case, they would be awestruck and jubilant when he tells them who it was. Megan interrupts. Dr. Rolf says they were just asking questions about his new serum. Kayla and Marlena question Megan about Kate. Megan informs them that Kate refused to cooperate so she is going to suffer a different fate now.

Kate tells Bo that Megan is gone now so he doesn’t have to follow her orders anymore. Kate argues that they can say she got away or that the gun jammed because he doesn’t want to do this. Bo keeps his gun aimed at her and walks her out of the lab.

Hours later, Roman is at the Brady Pub with Kate’s urn, wondering if he will ever hear from Kate again and what it will take to make he reach out. Roman questions if he has to plot another murder. Roman decides maybe he’s crazy and just imagined it all. Roman then closes the Pub for the night.

Bo walks Kate outside and declares this is a perfect place for her to die. Kate doesn’t know what Megan did to him and calls her crazy, saying he needs to get away from her. Kate says she, Marlena, and Kayla all know that this is not Bo. Kate argues that Bo is not a stone cold assassin. Kate tells Bo of how many people will be overwhelmed by the fact that he’s still alive. Kate urges him to think about Hope and asks what Hope would think if she saw him like this.

At an ISA Facility in Frederick, Maryland, Hope meets Agent Rose. She tells Hope that they are honored and notes that Hope and Bo are legends around here which Hope calls flattering. Rose gives her condolences on Bo’s death and says Hope must still miss him. Hope confirms that she does every day and then asks to be taken to see Harris Michaels which they then go to do.

Kayla complains that she and Marlena are never getting out now. Kayla wonders what Megan is planning now by saying Kate is going to suffer a different kind of fate. Marlena talks about Megan finding a cure for the virus and putting them in a cryogenic state. Kayla wonders why Megan wanted to keep them alive. Kayla worries that Megan’s new plan sounds ominous at best. Marlena agrees that they are in a world of trouble here.

Megan brings Dr. Rolf back to the lab. Dr. Rolf thinks it was short sighted for her to order Bo to kill their test subject. Megan orders him to make a new serum which Dr. Rolf says will take some time. Megan points out that they still have two women they can test it on and tells him not to question her. Megan orders Dr. Rolf to get to work and not procrastinate. Dr. Rolf points out that she’s already waited 40 years to be with Bo. Megan responds that she doesn’t want to wait any longer than she has to. Megan flashes back to last July, when Bo first regained consciousness inside of the cryogenic chamber and his first words were asking “where’s Hope?” Megan then complains about how she literally brought Bo back to life and all he could think about was Hope. Dr. Rolf remembers Megan giving him quite an earful about it at the time as they flash back to Bo wanting to escape to find Hope and Megan ordering Dr. Rolf to cure Bo of Hope. Dr. Rolf states that he did as Megan asked. Megan admits that it didn’t turn out as she expected.

Bo asks Kate why he would care what Hope thinks. Kate states that Hope is his wife. Bo recalls that they were divorced. Kate insists that Hope was the one great love of Bo’s life and that he never got over it. Bo mocks that and says it’s time to die. Kate asks Bo to take her wedding ring so he can return it to Roman.

John and Steve join Roman at the Brady Pub. Roman questions what they are doing back so early, what’s going on, and if they found Megan. They say not exactly but they have a lead. They explain that Andrew got them ISA access and they were able to track where Megan went to but they were too late and she was already gone. John then reveals they ran in to Hope, who was also looking for Megan, and she has an idea that Harris Michaels might be able to tell them something about where Megan is. Roman feels if Harris knows anything, he’ll never tell. John reveals that Harris told Hope that he thought maybe he was brainwashed by Megan too, so maybe Hope could get through to him. Roman questions if Harris ever really loved Hope. Steve guesses they will see about that.

Hope comments on Harris being locked down pretty tight. Agent Rose informs Hope that Harris has been quite uncooperative and sent agents to the hospital while he’s been highly resistant to treatment. Hope wants to be let in to the room alone with Harris because she needs some privacy. Rose warns that Harris is very dangerous. Hope insists that she needs to look him straight in the eye for this to work. Agent Rose gives Hope a panic button and says they’ll be right outside if she needs them as Hope then enters the room with Harris. Harris greets her and says it’s been a long time.

Megan tells Dr. Rolf that she had such high hopes at first. She flashes back to September after having Dr. Rolf brainwash Bo to get rid of his feelings for Hope. Dr. Rolf tells Megan that the procedure worked exactly as intended. Megan acknowledges that Bo no longer wanted Hope and he was loyal to her, but the spark between them was gone. Megan flashes back to trying to jog Bo’s memory by showing him their old yearbook where they were voted best couple. Megan told Bo that they could be that again and insisted the feelings could come back. Megan complains to Dr. Rolf that Bo was supposed to love her. Dr. Rolf argues that he warned her that he couldn’t create feelings of love out of nothing. Megan warns Dr. Rolf that this serum better work as promised.

Kayla wonders to Marlena if Megan was just trying to scare them and questions why she would kill Kate after going through so much trouble to revive her. Marlena says that Kate is resourceful and can talk her way out of any dire situation.

Bo tells Kate that as he recalls, she and Roman were over a long time ago. Kate informs him that she and Roman got back together and got married. Kate goes over how she apparently died and now she’s here. Bo guesses Dr. Rolf made it happen under Megan’s orders. Kate tells Bo that if he kills Roman’s wife, he will be devastated and asks if that’s what he wants.

Roman questions John and Steve thinking that Hope can get through to Harris Michaels. Roman worries that Harris might not know anything. John states that Harris is in ISA custody in a highly controlled situation. Steve adds that they wanted to go with Hope but she insisted on going alone. Roman worries that Hope almost got herself killed last time she was involved with Harris, so he hopes she’s being safe this time.

Harris questions why Hope is here and why she’d even want to talk to him after he almost killed her and her family. Hope brings up the last time they spoke, he said he thought Megan had brainwashed him so he was sent here for treatment but she questions why he’s fought against that every step of the way since. Harris claims he was lying and said whatever it took to get out of punishment. Hope doesn’t believe him since he’s not keeping up that lie now. Hope believes Harris is still fully under Megan’s control and that’s why he wouldn’t open up to Kimberly and she only sees the real him when they are alone. Hope tells Harris that she came all this way to remind him of what they had. Harris claims there was nothing between them and it was just a con. Harris says he was playing her to get the prism just like she was playing him. Hope says in the beginning, she wasn’t. Hope says there was something real between them before she found out about the prism which is why he couldn’t pull the trigger when Megan ordered him to kill her. Hope questions why Megan had to hire Thomas Banks to kill her. Harris calls that a backup plan. Hope asks Harris why she is still alive. Harris says it’s because he failed. Hope argues that he succeeded in stopping Megan. Hope declares that she’s alive because of him. Hope states that he felt something for her and he still does, insisting that she knows it’s real. Harris asks if she feels something for him too.

Roman tells John and Steve that Hope is risking her life and questions if it’s worth it. John responds that Megan is out there somewhere, behaving like a true DiMera, so who knows what she could be plotting to hurt even more people they love. Steve agrees that Megan is still a threat, so they need to stop her, whatever it takes.

Dr. Rolf tells Megan that he made no promises, but if this serum works, it will allow her and Bo to go back again and start from the beginning. They flash back to November when Megan summoned Dr. Rolf back to the lab where she asked him about the orchid with magical healing powers which she wondered if he could use to help her and Bo turn back time. Megan asked about reversing aging like a time machine and Dr. Rolf revealed to her that he knew where she could get the orchid. Back in the present, Megan tells Dr. Rolf that if they are young again, she knows he will love her again and not just follow her orders like a loyal soldier. Megan notes that Bo has never once questioned anything she’s had him do. Megan then reveals that she had Bo steal the orchid from the DiMera tunnels in December. Megan declares that nobody knew Bo was in Salem as they all think he’s dead and it’s going to stay that way.

Bo tells Kate that Roman already thinks she’s dead so if he pulls the trigger, it won’t make a difference to him. Kate disagrees, insisting that he will find out because the truth always comes out. Bo says he doesn’t care if the truth comes out or about Roman. Kate thinks he’s lying to himself and that she’s struck a chord with the real Bo, who is devoted to his family. Kate brings up Bo’s siblings and children’s names. Kate says she can see Bo deny his feelings for Hope and Roman, but a parent’s love for their child is pure and unshakable even in the worst circumstances. Kate brings up that his daughter Chelsea is her flesh and blood too. Kate argues that Bo won’t break Chelsea’s heart by killing her grandmother, so they know he won’t pull that trigger. Bo responds that he will, if only to shut her up.

Hope states that she and Harris were together for a whole year. Hope confirms that when he kissed her, she felt something. Harris asks if it wasn’t just part of the game and says he wants the truth. Hope admits that as much as she wanted to stay disconnected, there were moments where she felt something. Hope says that she admitted it and asks if he can do the same. Hope touches his arm and says maybe he needs her to remind him. Hope leans in to kiss Harris but he suddenly grabs her by the throat and stops her.

Steve and John tell Roman to think about what Megan did just for revenge on Hope. They argue that it’s not like Megan could have Bo no anyway. Roman can’t believe Megan Hathaway is still alive and not their wives. Roman says sometimes he feels like he’s going crazy since he told people that Kate was talking to him from the great beyond through an urn. John asks if he’s picked up anything from her lately. Roman says now she’s gone silent which makes him wonder if he imagined it. John points out that Paulina heard it too. Steve insists that he saw Kayla. Roman asks if anything like that happened to John or if he ever heard from Marlena. John confirms that he has not heard anything at all from her.

Marlena tells Kayla that she thought appealing to Dr. Rolf’s ego might get them somewhere. Kayla says it was and she’s sure that he was going to tell them who was in the other chamber until Megan interrupted but it won’t get them anywhere now. Marlena wonders if the person who was in the chamber got away, maybe they will come back to help them escape.

Bo asks Kate if she doesn’t think his relationship with Chelsea was complicated, pointing out that she was responsible for the death of another one of his kids. Kate encourages that he got past that. Kate talks about Chelsea and Max being happy in London now, Belle and Shawn are happy, and Ciara and Ben are sailing around the world just like Bo and Hope did. Kate adds that Hope is not happy, she’s miserable because she misses him and he could fix that. Kate encourages that he has another chance. Bo responds that there’s no fixing that since it was over decades ago. Kate questions if Bo is just Megan’s lapdog now.

Megan says some may think it’s selfish of her to keep Bo all to herself, but she brought him back to life and has loved him faithfully all these years which is more than anyone else can say so she deserves him. Megan flashes back to January where she read the article about Marlena, Kate, and Kayla’s deaths as she held on to the orchid and then to February, where Bo questioned what the three women were doing there. Megan told Bo that with their help, they would get back all the time they lost and finally live happily ever after. Back in the present, Megan reminds Dr. Rolf that she got him this lab and the orchid is thriving so he can make lots of the serum. Dr. Rolf talks about the time it will take while Megan declares that she and Bo will be young again, so they can start from the beginning. Megan declares that this time Bo will stay and love her forever while Hope will go off with some other poor sap.

Harris warns Hope not to play him again as he could snap her neck in an instant. Hope says she knows that he won’t just like he couldn’t pull the trigger on their wedding day. Hope argues that he is Megan’s victim, just like she was, and he still is. Hope asks if he wants Megan to get away with everything she’s done to him. Harris doesn’t believe that she gives a damn what happens to him but Hope insists that she does care. Hope adds that they are not Megan’s only victims, revealing that she killed her sister in law Kayla, Kayla’s brother Roman’s wife Kate, and John’s wife Marlena. Hope says that Megan has killed a lot of people she loves. Harris questions why that should matter to him. Hope argues that he is so much more than a trained assassin. Hope says he was a navy hero, a good and honorable man before Megan got a hold of him. Harris reminds her that he killed two men. Hope argues that it wasn’t him and blames the brainwashing but Harris says it doesn’t change the fact that they are dead. Hope encourages that Harris has the opportunity to get his life back and asks if he wants that. Hope says she wants to help him and then he can help her make sure that Megan never hurts anyone ever again. Harris responds that he doesn’t care about Megan. Hope asks him to do it for her then.

John and Steve tell Roman that they will let him know if they hear anything from Hope. They go to leave the Brady Pub and notice the wind has picked up. Roman notes that they must be in for a storm and warns John and Steve to be careful as they leave. Roman heads back inside the Pub and goes back to put Kate’s urn behind the bar.

Kayla asks if Marlena is okay. Marlena guesses quiet times are the hardest and keeps trying to reach out somehow to John and her family to let them know how much she loves them but all she ends up picturing is their pain. Kayla remembers how she grieved for Steve when she thought she had lost him for years and now thinks about their families going through that. Marlena calls that their motivation to get out of here.

John stands outside the Pub and hears Marlena’s voice telling him not to give up on her. John calls out to her but guesses it was just the wind and walks on.

Hope brings Harris out of his room and informs Agent Rose that Harris has agreed to another session with Dr. Brady-Donovan and she has a feeling that he’s going to be a lot more cooperative this time around.

Bo tells Kate that he’s nobody’s lapdog. Kate says that’s not what it seems like to her since this was Megan’s idea and not his. Kate says to her, he just looks like a glorified errand boy.

Marlena tells Kayla that they have to keep the faith that they are going to get out of here along with Kate.

Bo questions Kate thinking this is the best time to insult him. Kate says she’s just surprised that Bo would fall in with a wannabe Stefano like Megan. Bo tells her to stop. Kate questions if Bo is going to shoot her just because Megan told him to. Kate asks where the Bo is that she knew, that would’ve blown up the whole lab and taken off on his motorcycle without bothering to look back. Bo tells her that this is not an action movie, it’s real life. Kate tells him that she just never expected to see him go out this way. Kate brings up how many times Bo brought down Stefano and says that Bo didn’t take orders from anyone and would be disgusted by him. Bo declares that he wants Kate dead. Kate questions if he really does and tells him to go ahead and pull the trigger if he does.

Marlena and Kayla hear a gunshot.

Megan tells Dr. Rolf that the deed is done, so he needs to get back to work and make more of the serum so they can test it on Marlena and Kayla. Megan adds that if it works, she and Bo will be young and in love so they can finally have their happily ever after. Bo returns and informs Megan that it’s done. Megan says she heard the gunshot and she’s very proud of him. Megan tells Bo that she has something else that she needs, but Bo says he doesn’t give a damn because he doesn’t take orders from her. Bo tells her that it’s over and walks off.
