Steffy sends Kelly off with the nanny. Liam drops by and tells her that he told Hope the whole truth about how he slept with Steffy and now she’s pregnant. Steffy tells him that she also told Finn. She hopes Finn forgives her. Liam tells her that Hope was ready to forgive him for sleeping with her, but she was crushed to learn she’s pregnant. He’s not sure they’ll be able to survive if the baby is his. After Steffy leaves, Finn drops by and yells at Liam for what he did. He accuses him of still being in love with Steffy and looking for an opportunity to get back with her.

Hope has a large cup of coffee at Brooke’s, looking very sad. Brooke comes in and sees the coffee, figuring that Hope had trouble sleeping because she’s so busy with work and homelife. She praises Hope for all she does. Hope has a hard time hearing the compliments. Brooke wonders if something is wrong, but Hope doesn’t tell her what happened. Meanwhile, Thomas is working at Forrester when Vinny drops by to visit. Vinny is glad that Thomas looks healthy now after his brain trauma scare. He credits Hope for acting so quickly to save him. Thomas tells Vinny that he doesn’t plan to interfere in Hope’s marriage any more. He hopes that she and Liam can be happy together. Hope shows up and hears them talking. Thomas thanks her again for saving his life. Steffy arrives, so Hope asks Thomas to leave them alone. She yells at Steffy for stealing her husband. She thinks that Steffy was just waiting for an opportunity to get him back. She figures that the large photo of them on the wall should have given her the clue. Steffy protests.

At Thomas’ apartment, he keeps hearing the Hope mannequin telling him to kill Liam. He doesn’t want to do that, so he leaves and goes to get some work done at Forrester. Charlie comes in and gives him a hard time for stealing the mannequin. Charlies heard from Hope that he had it and that he uses it for inspiration. Charlie demands to know the real reason he has it. At home, Liam and Hope argue about Thomas – whether he’s really trying to improve himself or is back to being a creepy manipulator. Hope wants to see the good in him. Liam admires her for being that way, but he fears that it’s dangerous to trust Thomas at all.

Carter hosts a nice dinner party with Zoe, Zende and Paris. They play a celebrity guessing-game. Zende and Paris flirt, and he takes her upstairs to show her Carter’s amazing rooftop view. While they’re gone, Carter takes out a ring and starts to propose to Zoe. A smoke alarm goes off in their building, so Carter and Paris go out to see whether there’s really a fire or not. In his apartment, Thomas lies to Hope about why he kept the Hope mannequin. He claims it gives him inspiration for his designs. She seems to buy it. Meanwhile, Thomas keeps hearing the Hope mannequin talking to him, telling him to kiss Hope and that she wants him. Thomas is barely able to concentrate on his conversation with the real Hope because of his delusions. Hope tries to be supportive of his hard work, but she admits that the mannequin is creepy.

Liam visits Finn at his office to ask for his help in persuading Steffy and Hope about Thomas going off the rails again. Finn thinks that Liam is too involved with Steffy. He decides to take Steffy’s word about her brother’s behavior, rather than Liam’s. Liam can’t believe that Finn won’t see the truth. At Forrester, Paris is still mortified that Zende overheard her talking about him. Zoe laughs and tells her that she doesn’t need to be embarrassed. Carter comes in while they’re talking. They all joke around. Paris wonders why Zoe warned her away from Zende. Zoe doesn’t really have a good reason, so Paris concludes that it must be because Zende just got divorced. Carter invites Zoe over for dinner with them, saying that he’s inviting Zende, too.

Recap written by Suzanne

At Forrester Creations, Steffy and Hope are having an uncomfortable conversation about how much time Liam has been spending with Steffy and Kelly, but Hope assures her that she’s fine with it. Just then, Liam barges in, clearly very upset. He tells them about Thomas’ mannequin and how creepy it is. Both women are clearly stunned, but they present plausible reasons why Thomas has the mannequin. Liam can’t believe that they don’t get that Thomas is going crazy and obsessive again. Hope gets hysterical as they argue about Thomas and lets slip that she’s hired him back for Hope For the Future. Liam is shocked to hear that. Hope yells at Liam about how Thomas has changed and has been acting normal at work lately. She accuses Liam of inciting Thomas. Hope then storms out to tell Thomas herself what she told Liam. Steffy keeps making faces as they argue. After Hope leaves, Steffy is on the phone. Then she, too, sticks up for Thomas. Liam points out the ways that Thomas has been manipulative lately, including trying to turn him and Finn against each other. Steffy wants to believe that Thomas learned from his mistakes and isn’t focused on Hope any longer. Liam points out that Thomas is a good liar and manipulator. He concludes that something is wrong with Thomas and that he should be getting the help he needs. He thinks both she and Hope have a blind spot when it comes to Thomas. He says having a Hope mannequin proves that he’s obsessed.

At home, Thomas is having headaches and blurred vision. He’s hallucinating that the Hope mannequin is telling him to save Hope by killing Liam. He demands to know who or what she is. She says that he knows who she is. He agrees when she says that Liam is selfish and has divided feelings. He sees her talking with Hope’s mouth and face. The Hope mannequin keeps trying to get Thomas to kill Liam, so that he can have Hope. Hope knocks on the door, so he hides the mannequin. She bursts in, and Thomas comes back out. He wonders why she’s there. She tells him that she found out Liam confronted him and that it wasn’t OK. Thomas has more headaches, so she asks if he’s okay. Thomas knows that she’s heard about the mannequin from Liam. He explains that when he saw the mannequin, he knew it would make him a better designer. The mannequin inspires him, he claims. She asks to see it, so he brings it out. Thomas sets it down, and Hope looks at it up close. She circles it slowly. As Hope looks at the mannequin, which is much taller than her, Thomas hears the Hope mannequin tell him to take Hope now because she wants him.

Recap written by Suzanne

At Forrester, Katie tells Ridge that he didn’t really marry Shauna in Vegas; that Shauna is the one who texted Carter, not him. Ridge has a hard time believing that Shauna would do this, but Katie points out that Quinn is behind it. Katie tells Forrester the exact words that she overheard, especially from Quinn. She points out that Brooke is still his wife and that Shaun and Quinn have kept them apart. Also at Forrester, Carter prepares to officiate at Ridge and Shauna’s wedding. Zoe can tell that he’s not too enthusiastic about it. He doesn’t think that Ridge is very invested in the wedding. Zoe praises the fact that the Forresters have so much confidence in Carter to have him marrying them and because they promoted him to COO. She thinks they should celebrate later.

Donna tries to stop Brooke from rushing over to stop the wedding. She wants her to think first about whether Ridge really wants to marry Shauna. Brooke knows that Quinn and Shauna are behind this. She admits that she has no proof, but she knows that Ridge hasn’t been acting like himself. She refuses to let the two women get away with this. Donna is worried that if Brooke rushes over there, that it will be even more painful for her. Brooke goes on and on about how Quinn and Shauna manipulated Ridge. Donna finally agrees that Brooke should go fight for her man. Brooke leaves to do just that.  At home, Eric admires Quinn’s wedding preparations. He tells her that he spoke with Thomas, who checked in on Steffy (who’s doing better). Quinn is glad to hear it and wonders if Eric is any more accepting of Ridge and Shauna’s marriage. Eric admits that if it’s what Ridge wants, then he could do worse. Carter and Zoe show up. When Quinn asks if he has a special ceremony planned, Carter says that he thinks Ridge still loves Brooke and always will. Quinn doesn’t want to hear it and argues about it. Carter agrees that he doesn’t have a problem with officiating. Quinn suggests that Carter and Zoe have a drink on the terrace while they wait. Meanwhile, at Spencer, Flo and Wyatt admire how great each other looks, all dressed up for the wedding. They reminisce about seeing each other at Bikini after all these years and look forward to seeing the happiness on Shauna’s face. Flo gets a little choked up at the idea. Quinn texts Wyatt to ask where he is, so they get ready to go. Wyatt and Flo arrive at the Forrester mansion. Quinn is ecstatic about her friend finally finding happiness. Eric tells her that she looks radiant. Quinn tells them how happy she is and how lucky they both are to be married to Forresters. They all go out to the terrace. Quinn stays behind and looks up at her portrait on the wall. Brooke comes in and tells Shauna that she’s going to stop this wedding.

In the morning, Thomas walks into his living room and tries to see if the mannequin Hope really does talk. He says to himself that he must be crazy and decides to leave, to clear his head. As he touches the doorknow, he hears the Hope doll say, “Thomas…wait! Don’t go!”  He goes back to the mannequin, daring it to talk again, but it doesn’t.  Meanwhile, at Forrester, Zende thinks back to the previous day when Carter and Zoe were leaving for a special evening.  Hope arrives and is happy to see him at work with a good attitude. She wants to go over his designs and wonders where Zoe is, for her input. He says that he doesn’t know. They start talking about his designs.  Thomas comes in and tells them what needs to be fixed. Zende leaves, so Thomas tells Hope that she needs him because of his experience. Hope informs him that she doesn’t want to add someone else into the mix. She’s happy with the team she has now.  Thomas keeps staring at her and seeing the mannequin. She asks why he keeps staring at her. He says that he’s just tired and lonely. He jokes that he should probably get a dog.  As he’s about to leave, he hears Hope say the same thing that he heard the mannequin say.  He asks Hope if she said anything, but she didn’t. He looks worried that he’s losing his mind.

Zoe walks downstairs in Carter’s place wearing only his shirt. He admires her in it. They had a good night together. He hopes they can have more. She’s happy to be served breakfast. He lets on that he’s a great cook, since he’s been a bachelor for a long while.  Zoe tells him that she’s really into him, but she’s not ready to move in yet.  She goes to work. Zende tells her that he was thinking about her.  He sees that his phone never delivered the text he sent to her, telling her not to get together with Carter. He gets upset, realizing that he messed up.  At Spencer, Flo watches Wyatt wheeling and dealing over the phone. She tells him that he’s “cute,” but he only wants to hear that he’s rugged, manly and a ruthless negotiator. Flo says that she’s lucky that he loves her.  They talk about the disaster created by their moms.  Just as Flo wonders how Quinn is doing, Quinn walks in. She chastises Wyatt for giving her the silent treatment. Quinn admits that what happened was her fault.  She tells Wyatt that it’s OK for him to yell at her. He doesn’t know what she was thinking, going back to her old devious ways.  She protests that she just wanted her friend to be as happy as she is. Wyatt gets her to admit that she also wanted Brooke out.

Brooke cries in the dark, alone at home, on "The Bold and the Beautiful"

BEST LINES by Lori

Steffy: I appreciate your concern, but I trust my doctor. He’s gone above and beyond.

Thomas: Okay. All right. I–I just want to make sure that you’re advocating for yourself.

Steffy: Have you met me?

———————————————————————-

Donna: Okay. I know this seems bad, but this doesn’t–

Brooke: Seems? Shauna plied Ridge with alcohol, and then she dragged him to the altar.

Donna: These sort of things happen in Vegas all the time, don’t they? I mean, people get caught up in the excitement, they get a little buzzed, they win a little at gambling, and, uh, next thing you’re thinking, let’s get hitched.

Officiant: Ridge?
Ridge: Uhm-hmm?
Officiant: Was there anything else? That was more of a ‘poem’, I guess you’d call it, than vows.
Ridge: I’d like to buy an ‘A’, please, because it’s a vowel, and I would like to solve a puzzle.

Shauna: I should be over the moon right now. I mean, the man of my dreams pledged to love me forever.

Recap written by Lori

Steffy is at home. Thomas comes by to visit and they talk about her pain. Steffy is down to her last pain pill. Thomas tells her if she’s still in a lot of pain, she should get a refill to help her get through the worst of it, but Steffy brushes him off, saying she’s got a doctor’s appointment next week and her ER doctor has been checking on her. Her doctor wants to step down to over-the-counter medication, and she agrees so she can remain available for her daughter. As Thomas is getting ready to leave, he offers to help Steffy with anything she needs, including grocery shopping. She appreciates it but tells him she’ll be fine… then she takes her last pill.

In Brooke’s bedroom, Donna comes in to offer support for Brooke, who is still distraught, thinking about her last conversation with Ridge. Brooke still can’t accept that her marriage is over and that Ridge is now married to Shauna. They discuss how it could have so easily happened. Brooke thinks Ridge was plied with alcohol and dragged to the altar, whereas Donna thinks he just got caught up in the moment, as people do after they’ve been drinking and gambling. And Donna says that’s why they invented annulments. Donna tells Brooke that she’s sure Shauna would give Ridge the annulment, knowing he’s still in love with Brooke. Brooke is having a difficult time believing Ridge could love her when he could so easily commit himself to another woman. Meanwhile, Ridge returns to the Forrester mansion just as Quinn and Shauna are concluding the conversation about their secret. Ridge is tired and decides to go to bed. Quinn urges Shauna to go after her husband so she can comfort him. When Shauna goes to Ridge’s room, she tells him that she’s his wife now and wants to act like one. She’s going to leave him alone, but when he’s ready, she wants to show him how much she loves him. Before she walks out, they kiss. After Shauna leaves, Ridge and Brooke think about special moments they shared.

Recap written by Lori

As Shauna and Quinn are still celebrating the new “Mrs. Ridge Forrester,” Shauna recalls the phone call and events that led her and Ridge to the wedding chapel in Vegas. Quinn thinks it was “a good thing” that Shauna knew the guy who ran the wedding chapel, although Shauna admits he really did not want to perform the ceremony. The officiant suggested postponing the wedding, but Shauna told her friend not to ruin her wedding night and insisted he just do it, so he pronounced them husband and wife. Shauna tells Quinn she believes can still make Ridge happy as his wife but is still concerned about how it all played out. When asked about the wedding night and if she and Ridge made love, Shauna tells Quinn that the Forrester pilots barged in and dragged him away before it could happen. Quinn assures Shauna that Ridge married Shauna because he loves her and all they did was made it legal; no one needs to know, and it will always be their secret.

At Brooke’s house, Brooke has just learned that Ridge is now married to Shauna. Brooke doesn’t understand how it’s possible when their divorce papers were never filed, and Ridge can’t explain it because he doesn’t remember anything about that night; he only knows what Shauna told him, and there’s a marriage certificate. He tries to tell a devastated Brooke how sorry he is, that he loves her and wants to spend his life with her. Although they signed their divorce papers, Brooke said they were never filed. Ridge doesn’t know how it happened but thinks they must have been filed before he and Shauna got to the chapel, and Carter wouldn’t have done it if he hadn’t told him to. Ridge tells Brooke that he doesn’t want to be married to Shauna and “it’s just paperwork,” but Brooke sees it as being more than “just paperwork” – this is a betrayal. She doesn’t want to hear that he was drunk and that he doesn’t remember – she doesn’t care. She yells at him and orders him to leave. Ridge tells Brooke he loves her and always will. At Forrester Creations, Hope and Zoe talk about what a great team they make, especially the way they were able to take down Thomas together. They brainstorm on fine-tuning their messaging for the diversity and inclusion campaign and come up with a Hope for the Future Scholarship, which they will work on together. In Eric’s office, Eric and Donna are discussing Ridge marrying Shauna. Donna can’t believe it happened because Ridge never filed the divorce papers and is still married to Brooke, but Eric sadly assures her it’s real because there are pictures and a wedding certificate, and Ridge had Carter execute the divorce papers before the wedding.

Steffy is on the phone with Amelia, who’s running late. Steffy is obviously in great pain. She sits down and considers whether she should take more pain meds or not. Ridge calls to see how she’s doing. She tries to downplay how she is, but he can tell that she’s not being honest. He once again suggests she make sure to take her pain pills. He offers to come over there until Amelia gets there, but she tells him that the traffic is terrible. Dr. Finnegan phones to see how she’s doing. He asks if she’s followed up with her PCP, so she replies that she has an appointment later this week. He asks about her pain and reminds her that if she doesn’t take the pills on a regular schedule, then healing will take longer. Thomas drops by, bringing flowers and candy from his friend Vinnie. Thomas thinks that Vinnie might have a crush on her. Steffy confides that she doesn’t even remember the accident. She takes her pain medication, noting that she’s almost out. She’d hoped she wouldn’t need them any more before she needed to get a refill. Later, Thomas is on the phone – something about work. She tells him to go ahead and that her pain meds are kicking in. He tells her to call him if she needs anything. Dr. Finnegan drops by to bring her paperwork from the hospital. He’s embarrassed because his assistant was supposed to call Steffy and let her know. She was on a conference call and had her phone muted. He lives nearby, so he figured he could just bring them by. She tells him that it’s OK and that she’s getting better and better every day.

Flo and Wyatt are surprised to see Shauna show up. Shauna just wanted to check on Flo because of what has happened. She calls Wyatt and Flo “lovebirds” and Flo makes a joke about their having lots of sex. They catch up about what happened with Sally. Wyatt has to leave for work but tells them that they need to go out later to celebrate. Flo wonders if her mom is there for Ridge. Shauna tells her that Ridge gave her a ride home on his private jet, and then she took him on a tour of Vegas. Flo thinks there’s something more going on that Shauna isn’t telling her. Shauna just tells her that Ridge needed to take his mind off his problems, so she was there to help him do that. She couldn’t believe the crowds that he attracted. Shauna is disturbed to hear that Ridge spent the night at Shauna’s place. She asks if they slept together. Shauna brushes her questions off, saying that Las Vegas is her past. L.A. is her future. Meanwhile, Ridge is at Forrester, working, but he keeps having flashes of memory to what happened in Vegas. Brooke drops by and tells him that she’s leaving for a few days to go visit Bridget and Logan. She wants to visit with her daughter, who helped her when they were separated. She tells Ridge that she intends to work through their issues when she returns. She hopes they can be stronger than ever. Brooke goes on and on about their problems. When she mentions Shauna, Ridge has some more memories about being there in Vegas with her. Ridge talks about how he felt, seeing her kissing Bill. His faith in her was shattered. She understands and forgives him for running off. He agrees that they need to work on their relationship and spend the rest of their lives together. He promises to be waiting here for her.

Daytime Soap Opera Short Recaps

Recap written by Suzanne

Steffy walks around her place, admiring the decorations that Hope and Liam put up for her homecoming, talking to Ridge. She moves and cries out in pain, so he urges her to take her medication. She claims that she’s fine. Thomas, now sporting a beard, drops by with flowers for her. He looks shaken up by what happened to her. Ridge leaves them alone to chat. Thomas tells his sister how much he loves her and was worried about her. Things seem to be good between them now and she thanks him for visiting. She asks how he’s doing. He admits that it’s been rough not seeing Douglad, but he knows that Hope and Liam are taking good care of him for now. He’s been in regular contact with Taylor, too. He thanks Ridge for all of his support as well. Ridge once again suggests to Steffy that she should take her pills, before he leaves. Thomas can tell that Steffy is in a lot more pain than she let on. Steffy tells him that the beard looks good. Thomas tells her that he’s been driving up and down the coast, staying here and there, but he stays close so he can visit Douglas. Steffy has another twinge of pain, so Thomas points out that she was in a serious accident. She should accept help and take medication. Later, Steffy is alone when she hears Kelly cry over the baby monitor. She takes some pain medication.  At Forrester, Donna and Brooke discuss Steffy’s accident. Donna wonders if this brought her and Ridge closer together, but Brooke says that it didn’t because Bill was there to admit that he hit Steffy with his car. Brooke really wants to get things back to normal with Ridge. Even though there is still distance between her and Ridge, she plans to keep trying with him. Ridge drops by, so they ask about Steffy. Ridge is just worried about her being in pain and not wanting to take her medication. Donna leaves them alone. Ridge tells Brooke that Thomas stopped by. Brooke lists all of the things that came between them, and she admits that she was partly responsible. He admits that, too. She says that she doesn’t want him to have any more drunken nights with Shauna, or anyone. As she says that, Ridge remembers some of his time kissing Shauna. Brooke concludes that they need to vow never to let anyone come between them ever again.

Back at the beach house, Wyatt and Flo, sitting on the couch, chat about dinner and decide to go back to having sex, like they were planning to do before Katie dropped by. They chat for a second about Katie and Sally. He still can’t believe what Sally did. They also decide not to talk about Sally any more. They have sex on the couch. He says that he won’t ever let her out of his sight again. Katie drops by Sally’s place to confront her. Sally admits what she did and feels very sorry. She deserves whatever Katie says to her. She admits that she did it because she couldn’t stand to lose Wyatt again to Flo. Katie asks if it was all planned, but Sally informs her that when she ran into her at the hospital, that was all by accident. She really was worried about her health at that point because of the symptoms she was having. After seeing how Katie cared about her, she realized she could get Wyatt to care for her, too. Katie feels like an idiot after being used by Sally. She yells at Sally for what she did, although she’s relieved that she’s not dying. Katie lays out all of the things she did for her and how she was manipulated. She says sarcastically that she hopes Sally is proud of herself. Sally says forlornly that she’s not proud at all — she’s deeply ashamed. She tells Katie how great of a friend she was and how badly she treated her. She tells her how sorry she is and hopes that one day she can forgive her. Katie suggests that she just take some time and get her life back on track. She advises her to first let go of her obsession with Wyatt.

Recap written by Suzanne

Liam and Hope have decorated Steffy’s home, with the help of Beth and Kelly, with balloons and more. They wonder how Steffy is doing. Hope offers to help take care of Kelly if Steffy needs it. Liam thinks that’s a great idea, but he figures that Steffy will just want to see Kelly when she gets home. Later, Hope tells him that the girls are sound asleep. She’s glad they were able to fix up the place for Steffy. They stocked the fridge for her and will be welcoming her home. They agree that it’s a miracle that Steffy didn’t get hurt worse in her accident (because she was wearing a helmet). They admire the beautiful flowers that Taylor sent. Liam tells Hope that Thomas was in contact with Douglas as well. At the hospital, Steffy tells Dr. Finnegan that she just wants to go home and see her daughter. Steffy asks if she can pick up Kelly, but the doctor cautions her against any kind of lifting or exertion. He asks about her pain. She claims it’s much better. The doctor can tell that she’s in more pain than she’s letting on. He advises her to take more medication if she needs it, so she can heal.  She doesn’t want to be in a fog when she’s with Kelly, but she agrees. Ridge arrives, ready to take Steffy home. The doctor tells Ridge that Steffy needs to take her medication so that she can heal properly. He tells Steffy that she shouldn’t do any lifting or driving, and that she should take a pill when she gets home. Ridge promises to make sure she does, and he thanks the doctor and staff for their help. Steffy and Ridge arrive at her home. She’s walking very stiffly but loves the decorations they made for her. After saying hello to Liam and Hope, she insists on going in to see Kelly, even though the girls are asleep. Ridge reminds Steffy to take her pain medication as the doctor ordered. Liam points out to Stefft what she’s gone through and insists she take the medication to give herself a break. She tries to argue, but she gives in. Hope looks worried.

Wyatt and Flo greet each other after sleeping together in the beach house. They decide not to think about Sally any more and plan to have more sex, but Katie shows up. She wonders where Sally is and why she texted her an apology. They fill Katie in on what’s been happening with Sally. Katie is relieved that Sally isn’t dying, but she’s very angry at her for lying to everyone and using her. Flo is obviously still very annoyed at Sally, whereas Wyatt is more sympathetic. He tells Katie that he couldn’t bring himself to press charges against Sally and Penny. After Katie leaves, Wyatt tells Flo how special she is to him. He gives her many compliments as they sit on the couch and smile lovingly at each other. Meanwhile, Sally sits alone in her apartment, looking glum and crying. Katie drops by. Sally doesn’t open the door when Katie knocks, so Katie opens it. She asks Sally, “How could you?”

Daytime Soap Opera Short Recaps

Recap written by Suzanne

Outside Sally’s room, Penny tells Flo that she’s not a bad person. Flo wonders if Penny is really as gullible as she pretends to be. However, Flo has some sympathy because she’s known people who can talk you into anything, even though it’s against your better judgment (like Reese). Flo goes in for a while to Sally’s room. Sally wants her to help talk Wyatt into forgiving her, but Flo says it’s his call. In Sally’s room, Sally begs Wyatt to forgive her. She says she’ll understand if he writes her off or puts her in jail. She keeps trying to explain why she did what she did, and how sorry she is. Wyatt says they won’t press charges, but he can’t be around her right now. He wants her to go off and find the talented, amazing woman that she used to be. He tells her goodbye in a very final way.

Brooke suggests to Ridge that he phone Taylor to let her know about Steffy’s accident. He agrees and adds that he’ll also let Thomas know. The doctor talks to Ridge about Steffy not wanting any more pain medication. Bill still feels very guilty. Liam tells him it’s not his fault. Steffy does, too, later on. Bill and Liam go to get coffee. Ridge and Liam chat with Steffy about Kelly, and also about how she needs to rest and get better. The doctor kicks everyone out so Steffy can rest. Dr. Finn asks Steffy how her pain is. She tries to be tough, saying it’s not that bad, but he can tell that she’s suffering. He suggests that she not try to be so tough. Later, he offers pain medication again, and she agrees, whimpering.
