Summer and Kyle decide that they will get married in August because they need to move on with their lives.

Summer isn’t happy when Lauren tells her that Kyle suggested she talk to Tara about being in house designer for Fenmore’s.

Summer goes to the Abbott house to talk to Kyle and sees him telling Tara he wants her to stay in Genoa City so he can spend time with Harrison.

Sally calls Eric Forrester and asks him to do a favor for Summer.

Lily is nervous because Johnny and Katie spending the night at her and Billy’s apartment for the first time.

Billy continues to worry that Victoria is spending too much time with Ashland Locke.

Sutton Ames fires Amanda because he doesn’t want to reveal that Amanda and Hilary are his granddaughters. Victor sees Sutton and Sutton slips and calls Amanda his granddaughter but quickly recovers and says his granddaughter Imani disappointed him. Victor calls Amanda and tells her to stop by his office to discuss her relationship with Sutton Ames.

Chloe takes Adam’s job offer but when she tells Chelsea about it while visiting her in the mental hospital, Chelsea insists Adam is trying to run her life and she must find a way to get out of the hospital. Rey and Adam also visit Chelsea. Adam promises Chelsea she can see Connor when she gets better because it wouldn’t be good for Connor to see her in the hospital. Rey goes to visit Chelsea because he and Michael think she had help from Chloe to poison him. Rey asks Chelsea if she had help from someone to poison him and she gets angry and tells him to leave and go on his vacation with Sharon. Rey tells Michael what happened when he visited Chelsea and that she belongs in the hospital.

Ashland changes his mind and agrees to joint custody of Harrison with child support and minimal alimony for Tara as agreed to in their prenuptial agreement. Ashland tells Sally that she needs to talk to Eric Forrester because he is the CEO of the Italian fashion house that has the job opening she can use to get Summer out of town.

Victoria turns down Ashland’s invitation for dinner in New York but changes her mind and accepts the invitation after a talk with Nikki in which Nikki advises her not to date Ashland.

Sally wants Tara to get Kyle to fall in love with her so Summer will take the job at the fashion house in Italy. Tara doesn’t want anything to do with Sally’s plan but Sally tells her to think about it and give her a call if she changes her mind.

Nikki warns Adam he better not go back to his old ways or she will do what is necessary to protect her family.

Rey and Sharon finish making plans for their second honeymoon in Miami.

Adam goes to the mental hospital to tell her Connor is doing well in school and will soon be coming home. Chelsea tells Adam she can’t wait to see Connor and give him a hug.

Ashland arrives at the Abbott mansion to talk to Tara and Kyle without their lawyers.

Elena tells Nate she got a job offer in Baltimore and wonders if he knows of any reason she should stay in Genoa City. Nate and Imani have coffee together and get to know each other a little bit.

Adam wants to compete against Chancellor Communications and beat them fairly even though Victor isn’t happy about it he lets Adam do things his way.

Billy warns Victoria Ashland is, a dangerous man to date but Victoria tells him she will live her life as she sees fit.

Mrs. Toliver gives Amanda all the information her foster mother had on her. Amanda finds a calendar page where it says the date when her foster mother intended to meet with her father Richard. Amanda demands Imani set up a meeting with Sutton so they can talk about a new strategy for his case.

Kyle and Summer tell their parents their wedding is back on and they reluctantly give their support to them. Summer meets Harrison for the first time and he is a little shy with her. Mariah tells Tara that other people have tried to come between Kyle and Summer but nobody has ever succeeded because they always find their way back to each other. Kyle tells Tara that he filed an acknowledgement of paternity form with the court

Victor gives Nikki tickets to Florence Italy to see Leslie Brooks perform her favorite piano concerto for her birthday. Victor also gives Nikki a beautiful necklace and a bouquet of apricot roses and Nikki thinks she is blessed to have Victor in her life.

Summer talks to Jack and tells him she saw Kyle with Harrison at the park and he is a natural father. Summer loves Kyle but she isn’t sure that she is ready to have a child in her life. Sally is determined to do whatever it takes to make Summer take the job at the fashion house in Italy.

Devon is worried that Amanda is so eager to have a family that she isn’t being objective about the facts in her grandfather’s case.

Ashland offers Tara joint custody of Harrison but with the condition that Kyle can’t be a part of Harrison’s life.

Nate meets Imani and they flirt with each other a little bit. Nate later asks Devon about Imani and Devon tells him that Imani is helping Amanda with a case.

The paternity test results are in and they say Kyle is Harrison’s biological father. Tara tells Harrison that he is a lucky little boy because he has a second dad and his name is Kyle. Kyle is touched when Harrison calls him daddy for the first time. Jack is happy when he gives Harrison Kyle’s first baseball glove and he and his grandson play catch for the first time.

Amanda and Imani talk to Mrs. Toliver the private detective Richard hired to find his daughter and she tells them that she found Richard’s daughter and gave him the address of her foster family before he died. Kyle assures Summer that their relationship won’t change just because he is Harrison’s father.

Sally tells Ashland she can find out where Tara and Harrison are hiding but in exchange he must offer Summer a job far away from Genoa City. Sally later tells Ashland that when she visited Jack earlier she noticed a toy on the couch. Sally describes the toy to Ashland and he tells her the toy does belong to his son. Ashland tells Sally he will offer Summer a job at a very prestigious fashion house. Billy is worried that Victoria will get caught up in Ashland’s nasty divorce if she continues to spend time with him.

Tara tells Jack Sally was the one who told her where Kyle was when she came to town with Harrison. Jack tells Tara to stay away from Sally because she is trouble. Sally talks to her grandma Shirley who advises her to think carefully about her next move. Sally decides to have a talk with Ashland Locke.

Summer tells Kyle she needs some time to think about their situation. Summer tells Nick that she doesn’t know if she can handle Tara being part of Kyle’s life because she is Harrison’s mother. Kyle takes the paternity test that will tell him if he is Harrison’s father.

Naya is shocked when Amanda tells her that someone at Newman Enterprises told her that her father Richard took a leave of absence from the company to search for his child. Amanda has a talk with Devon later and tells him she thinks Naya is lying to her. Amanda wonders if the real reason her father was killed was because he was trying to find his child.

Adam agrees that Victor should ask Noah to design the new logo and update the website for Newman Media.

Chelsea gives her statement to the police and Michael tells Rey that he will ask the judge to let her stay at the mental hospital. Rey tells Sharon Chelsea asked him to continue visiting her and he wants to do it so he can figure out if she is faking her mental illness.

Adam goes to see Chelsea to ask her to withdraw the restraining order against him so he can see Connor.

Ashland finds Tara at the Grand Phoenix and he tells her he has filed for divorce. Ashland gets ready for a long and bitter divorce battle with Tara. Kyle tells Tara he is ready to take a paternity test and help her keep custody of Harrison. Summer is worried when Kyle thinks Tara and Harrison should move into the Abbott mansion to protect Tara and Harrison from Ashland but she doesn’t tell Kyle how she feels because she wants to be supportive of him.

Chloe goes to visit Chelsea at the mental hospital and promises Chelsea she will find out Adam’s plans for Connor. Rey suspects Chelsea may be faking her mental illness so she won’t go to jail. Sharon thinks Rey should let another detective finish up the case so they can move on with their lives.

Billy and Lily decide where they want to live after looking at places online. Billy and Lily see Victoria saying goodbye to Ashland and they wonder why Victoria is really meeting with Ashland.

Nick and Adam give brotherly bonding a try as they watch baseball together, but their first try is very awkward. Adam and Victor decide to name their new company Newman media and enjoy the fact Victoria will be upset about it.

Chelsea meets with Rey at the mental hospital to ask for his forgiveness for what she did to him. Summer tells Phyllis that Harrison is Kyle’s son and Kyle plans to claim paternity in order to protect Harrison from Ashland. Phyllis advises Summer not to be scared of Ashland Locke because she and Kyle will get through this with the help of their families. Summer tells Kyle she is scared to lose him once he becomes Harrison’s father. Kyle assures Summer their relationship will be fine because he and Tara haven’t made any decisions about any kind of relationship with Harrison.

Abby tells Victoria she feels sad because Chance isn’t home to share all the important events surrounding the birth of their baby with her. Victoria helps Abby focus on the positive things she has in her life right now. Victoria and Abby plan to meet at Society later to have dinner.

Billy and Lily plan to undermine Victor and Adam’s media company before Victor and Adam officially become the new owners of the company. Billy takes Lily some place because he has a surprise for her.

Ashland demands that Kyle and Summer tell him Tara and Harrison’s whereabouts, but Kyle and Summer insist they don’t have any idea where Tara and Harrison could be. Kyle tells Summer the only way to protect Harrison is to tell everyone that he and not Ashland is his father. Summer wants Kyle to think things through first and find out if Ashland knows the truth about Harrison’s paternity. Victoria has drinks with Ashland at Society while she is waiting for Abby to arrive for dinner. Tara gets nervous when Summer gets a text message from Phyllis telling her that Ashland had been in the lobby of the Grand Phoenix threatening to call the police if she didn’t tell him Tara’s room number.

In order to win the game he must change his strategy. Phyllis doesn’t think he will ever change. Victoria tells Adam that it doesn’t matter how you play the game the important thing is to win. When the dream ends Adam loses the game but when he awakens from the dream he is determined to change his life. Nate tells everyone that it appears Faith is accepting the kidney. Adam is sure that the transplant being successful is a sign that he made the right choice. Adam apologizes to Nick for everything and tells Sharon he won’t interfere in her relationship with Rey anymore. Adam tells Sharon that he knows Rey loves her and promises to make sure she and Rey get back together.

Victor heads to the hospital to tell Adam he is a free man because Chelsea poisoned Rey because she is suffering from post-stroke psychosis. The rest of the Newman family is shocked and saddened by the news of Chelsea’s breakdown. Nick tells Adam that he is willing to give him a chance to prove he has changed. Rey asked Sharon if she had an affair with Adam. Sharon is hurt that Rey would ask her that question and she wonders if they have a future together. Adam thinks about the best way to to tell Connor about Chelsea’s breakdown and also the future for him and Connor without Chelsea.

Faith and Adam come through the transplant surgery with flying colors. Faith’s family now must wait to see if Faith’s body accepts the kidney. Chelsea confesses to Rey and Michael that she poisoned Rey because Adam and Sharon’s affair pushed her to the brink and she had to teach them both a lesson. Chelsea tells Michael and Rey how she pulled off her plan and Michael and Rey can tell Chelsea is having a mental breakdown before their eyes. Victor brings in a doctor who tells Michael and Rey he thinks that Chelsea is suffering from post-stroke psychosis and that she needs to be in psychiatric care. Michael and Rey agree and Michael puts Chelsea in the care of the doctor. Michael tells Victor that Adam is a free man. Once Rey and Michael leave the ranch the audience discovers that Victor has helped Chelsea make Michael and Rey think she has had a mental breakdown to keep her out of jail.

Chloe suggests that Chelsea grab Connor get new identities for both her and Connor and run. Chelsea thinks that she has to confess to her crime because Victor will always find her if she runs away. Rey promises Nick he won’t arrest Adam until after the transplant.

Mariah agrees to be Kyle’s best person despite the fact that she thinks he will have to grab the rings from her very pregnant stomach. Devon invites Victor and Nate to a celebration honoring Neil’s life. Sharon tells Faith Nick and Adam will be home soon so Adam can donate his kidney to her. Nate tells Sharon Faith isn’t responding to the steroid treatment. Amanda turns down Michael’s plea deal for her grandfather which would have him spend twenty years in jail. Victor tries to find out why Amanda took Sutton Ames case, but he has no luck. Victor continues to pressure Michael to clear Adam’s name as soon as possible because he is innocent.
