Days of Our Lives Update

Eric goes to Sloan’s apartment and finds the door cracked open. Eric rushes inside and calls out for Sloan but Jada comes down the stairs. Eric questions what is going on and what Jada is doing there.

Talia goes to Rafe’s office and asks if Jada is around. Rafe says she’s out on a call and asks if she wants to leave a message for her. Talia says no, but since she’s here, she asks if Rafe and Jada enjoyed their dinner last night. Abe overhears this from outside the door and enters the office, questioning what dinner.

Chanel goes home and tells Paulina that the bakery was busy and almost sold out, but she managed to save some for Paulina and Abe. They joke about her diet as Chanel brings up Paulina seeing the cardiologist. Paulina points out that she was given a clean bill of health. Paulina recalls when she went to the appointment, Chanel said she was going to handle Sloan, so she assumes this is her doing as she shows her laptop with Leo’s latest column about Sloan, titled “Is Salem’s Top Legal Eagle a Total Psycho?”

Sloan goes to Leo’s room at the Salem Inn. Leo asks what her problem is. Sloan says it’s his stupid little gossip column. Leo jokes that she read that and immediately came over assuming it was about her, so that means the story is true. Sloan warns Leo to fix this or she will end him.

Gwen enters the Pub and sees Xander and Chloe together. Gwen remarks that it looks like the rumors are true. Chloe questions what rumors. Gwen responds that according to Leo, they are Salem’s new hottest couple and it looks like he was right. Xander questions what she is talking about. Gwen responds that she walked in and heard them toasting to letting go of the past and moving on, so it’s very clear that they are moving on with each other. Xander tells Gwen that she doesn’t understand. Gwen argues that Xander lied to her when he said he couldn’t be with her because he was still very in love with Sarah, but now she sees he’s cozying up to Chloe. Gwen complains about how Chloe treated her and Leo. Gwen declares that as far she’s concerned, they deserve each other.

Jada informs Eric that she’s here on official police business. Eric asks if anything happened to Sloan. Jada says not that she knows of and explains that she came to question her but she wasn’t around, so she decided to take a look around. Eric accuses her of breaking in. Jada informs Eric that the supervisor let her in when she showed her warrant. Eric asks if this is about the letter. Jada responds that there’s been a break in the case as last night, Paulina received a very threatening text message and she thinks Sloan might know something about it.

Abe questions Rafe and Jada having dinner together, reminding Rafe that they talked about this. Rafe assures that it was very platonic and explains that he ran in to Jada and Talia at the Pub, so they decided to sit at a table together. Rafe asks if that’s against the policy or if he should have fled the Pub entirely to maintain the police department’s sparkling reputation. Rafe introduces Abe to Talia and notes that she was also there the other night. Talia tells Abe it’s nice to meet him. Abe recognizes her name as working with Chanel and helping Paulina through her panic attack. Talia hopes Paulina is feeling a lot less stress now. Abe says not so much because this situation with Sloan is getting to her.

Chanel mocks the idea of the article hurting Sloan’s feelings. Paulina asks if it was Chanel’s work then and told all to Leo. Chanel responds that Leo doesn’t reveal his sources. Paulina says that Sloan will know who gave this to Leo. Chanel feels it’s about time that Sloan realizes that they hit back and this will hit her where it hurts. Chanel states that the only thing Sloan cares about other than making them miserable, is her law practice. Chanel wonders how many people will be looking for a psycho lawyer. Paulina hopes she’s right that this backs Sloan off and that last night’s text will be the end of it. Chanel questions what text.

Leo tells Sloan to chill and asks what exactly she wants him to do. Sloan tells Leo to issue an immediate retraction and admit that he made the whole story up. Leo responds that he got his intel from a very reliable source. Sloan guesses that was Paulina. Leo says as a journalist, he does not reveal his sources. Sloan argues that he’s not a journalist and calls him an insignificant little worm, who is about to have his ass sued for libel. Leo argues that it’s not libel if it’s true. Sloan calls it untrue that she has been harassing Paulina. Leo points out that she has motive and keeps insisting that Chanel killed her mother. Leo calls it a sad story and he’s sure the public would be on her side if she confessed in detail in his column, then they could get the whole town to hate Paulina and Chanel instead of just her. Leo turns on his recorder and suggests that Sloan tell him everything.

Eric argues that Jada has no proof that Sloan sent that text. Jada says that’s why she is here. Eric is pretty sure that Sloan has her phone with her. Jada says she could’ve used a different phone, so she decided to poke around a bit but admits she hasn’t found anything yet. Jada notes that she did notice Eric has his own drawer now, so things must be getting pretty serious. Eric states that he doesn’t need a lecture on why he shouldn’t be dating Sloan. Jada says it was just an observation but she knows it’s none of her business. Jada tells Eric that she just wants him to be happy, no matter who he is with. Eric responds that he wants her to be happy too. Eric then asks Jada if there is anybody new in her life.

Rafe asks Abe if Paulina is okay. Abe responds that she got a clean bill of health but all the harassment and pressure doesn’t let up. Rafe swears to get to the bottom of it. Abe knows he will and asks if he’s heard from Jada on if she was able to question Sloan about the text. Rafe says she hasn’t checked in yet but he will call Abe know as soon as he does. Abe apologizes for before and assures Rafe that he does trust him. Abe tells Talia that it was nice to meet her and says he’ll talk to Rafe later as he then exits the office. Talia apologizes to Rafe for getting him in trouble. Rafe says it’s okay but asks her to stop trying to push he and Jada together. Talia jokingly asks if she was that obvious. Rafe reminds her that he’s a trained detective. Talia jokes about Jada liking him so much. Rafe tells Talia that she heard Abe, he is Jada’s boss and there are rules against this so nothing can happen. Talia calls it a shame because they would make a great couple. Rafe repeats that nothing can happen. Jada asks if Rafe would be making his move if not for the policy.

Paulina shows Chanel the text she got that says “your husband can’t save you”. Chanel can’t believe Sloan sent this. Paulina says it was technically anonymous but they both know it was Sloan. Chanel asks if she told the police. Paulina assures that Abe is taking care of it. Chanel calls Sloan twisted. Paulina adds that Sloan practically gloated when she ran in to her last night. Paulina then reveals that she had another panic attack but claims it was no big deal and she got calmed down. Chanel guesses there is more. Paulina informs her that Sloan mocked her and walked away before knowing she was okay. Chanel calls Sloan a bitch. Paulina assures that she’s fine and that Sloan will get hers eventually, one way or another.

Sloan tells Leo that there is nothing to confess because she’s innocent. Leo suggests she read the comments of his column where everyone thinks she’s guilty. Sloan says that’s why she wants a retraction. Leo argues that it’s too late because the public has already made up it’s mind, so the only way to turn things around is to share her sob story and get people to feel sorry for her. Sloan asks why she would do that when Leo would just twist her words. Leo tries asking her which magazines she used to cut out the letters for the note. Sloan asks why that matters and calls him a hack. Leo urges her to work with him. Sloan demands an immediate retraction by tomorrow or else she will sue him. Sloan then storms out of the room.

Xander tells Gwen that it’s none of her business, but he and Chloe were just having a drink together and there’s nothing romantic going on. Gwen asks what about last night when she walked in and they were in each others’ arms. Chloe explains that she was upset about Brady and Xander was comforting her. Gwen asks about the photo that Leo took of them and shows it to them. Xander asks if Leo thinks he’s using the picture in his column. Gwen says not to worry as she killed the story like Xander did about Leo’s story on Chloe. Chloe points out that she was happy that Xander did that, so she hugged him. Gwen asks if that’s how they shacked up and traded sex for favors. Xander repeats that there’s nothing going on between them and asks why Gwen cares anyways when she’s sleeping with Alex. Gwen responds that she doesn’t care, she just doesn’t like being lied to. Gwen says if Xander didn’t want to be with her, he could’ve just told her instead of making up an excuse about being hung up on Sarah. Gwen calls Xander a coward and tells him to just admit he and Chloe are together now. Xander then gives in and tells Gwen that she’s right. Xander declares he’s fallen madly in love with Chloe and doesn’t care who knows it as he then grabs Chloe and kisses her, shocking Gwen.

Jada tells Eric that she’s not seeing anybody right now as she’s focused on work. Eric hopes she doesn’t neglect her personal life for too long as she deserves to be with somebody great. Jada thanks him and decides to get going. Jada asks Eric to remind Sloan to stop by the police station the first chance she gets. Eric agrees to tell her. Jada hopes Sloan is aware that they have ways to access deleted messages. Eric really thinks Sloan had nothing to do with this. Jada says it would still be in her best interest to cooperate as she then exits the apartment.

Rafe tells Talia that he should get back to work. Talia complains that he’s avoiding the question. Rafe says he will let Jada know that she stopped by. Talia argues that he doesn’t need to answer the question because she can see in their eyes that they like each other and they just need to find a way around the regulations. Rafe tells Talia that there are a lot of people in this town that he trusts and he hasn’t discussed this situation with them, so she shouldn’t be offended that he won’t with her either. Talia jokes that Rafe is right up Jada’s alley.

Abe comes home and sees what Chanel brought from the bakery but Paulina says that’s for later as Chanel went to the Bistro to pick up dinner. Paulina adds that Chanel was pretty upset when she told her about Sloan walking away from her during her panic attack and about the text message. Abe mentions talking to Rafe about that and that he sent Jada to Sloan’s apartment, so as soon as she reports back, he will give him an update. Paulina hopes they nail Sloan to the wall. Abe declares that in the meantime, he thinks they should leave Salem.

Sloan confronts Chanel in the town square and tells her to tell Paulina to stop spreading lies to the reporters. Chanel reveals that she did it, not Paulina, and says they weren’t lies. Sloan warns that if Chanel was the one who talked to Leo, then she’s the one who will go back and set the record straight. Chanel argues that the record is already straight. Chanel accuses Sloan of trashing Paulina’s office and sending the text. Sloan questions what text. Chanel tells her about the text that said “your husband can’t save you”. Sloan denies sending it so Chanel asks who else would send it. Sloan suggests one of the other hundred thousand people that hate that old obnoxious bitch. Chanel responds to that by slapping Sloan. Sloan shouts that she will kill her and attacks Chanel.

Paulina questions Abe wanting to move out of Salem. Abe clarifies that he didn’t say move but just an extended vacation and points out that they never had a honeymoon. Paulina argues that this is about getting away from Sloan. Abe admits that it is and says the police are on the case, so once Sloan is behind bars, they’ll come back. Paulina complains that they would be running away. Abe encourages her not to think about it like that. Abe says she’s under a lot of stress and Paris is beautiful this time of year. Paulina says she would love to but she can’t leave Chanel alone. Abe suggests she come with them but Paulina argues that Chanel won’t leave her bakery for that long which means she has to stay and protect her from Sloan, especially after she got Leo to run that column in the Spectator. Abe is not sure that’s a good idea with what they know about Sloan.

Chanel and Sloan fight in the town square. Chanel calls her a psycho while Sloan says Chanel is the one who killed her mother. Chanel grabs a bouquet of flowers and starts hitting Sloan with them until Talia runs out to break it up. Sloan argues that Chanel started it. Chanel responds that she has no problem finishing it. Talia declares it ends now and warns Sloan to leave before she calls the cops. Sloan remarks that she had no problem filing a restraining order against Paulina and guesses she will have to file one against Chanel too. Sloan then walks off. Tanel checks on Chanel, who shouts that she hates Sloan. Talia sees that Chanel is bleeding. Chanel calls it just a scratch while Talia worries that it could be infected. Talia decides to take Chanel to the bakery where they have a first aid kit.

Jada joins Rafe in his office. Rafe asks how it went with Sloan. Jada informs him that she wasn’t home so she just looked around the apartment and only found that she has crap taste in music and more handcuffs than the department, but no burner phone or cutout magazines. Rafe asks if she left a message. Jada confirms that she did on Sloan’s phone and with Eric. Rafe asks how it went with Eric. Jada says it went how it always does with an ex but she thought it was good thing because she saw him living there with a dominatrix who listens to Coldplay and realized she is over him.

After Xander suddenly kissed Chloe, he asks Gwen if she’s satisfied. Gwen calls him a pig and storms out of the Pub. Xander calls Gwen a nut. Chloe remarks that Gwen was right about one thing, he is a pig, and she then slaps him.

Gwen goes home where Leo tells her that she won’t believe what he just went through. Gwen says he won’t believe her day either as she tells Leo that he was right about Xander and Chloe. Gwen says they were at the Pub and she was showing her cleavage while he was undressing her with his eyes. Leo asks Gwen if quietly walked away but Gwen says she went over to confront them. Gwen adds that at first, Xander said nothing was going on but then he kissed Chloe right in front of her. Leo is happy and exclaims that this means they are winning, leaving Gwen confused.

Xander questions why Chloe slapped him. Chloe argues that he assaulted her. Xander says he just gave her a kiss while Chloe complains that it was in public for someone else’s benefit. Chloe doesn’t like being dragged in to his relationship with Gwen and especially not being used as a prop for his ex. Xander admits she has a point. Chloe asks if he stopped to think for a second about what he did. Chloe complains that Gwen will go straight to Leo, who will put it in his next column, and then Brady will read it. Xander thought she was moving on. Chloe argues that she never said that but it still doesn’t give him a right to maul her in public. Xander apologizes and admits he didn’t think. Xander repeats that he is sorry because he really would like them to be friends.

Jada tells Rafe that she’ll get started on the report. Rafe adds that her sister stopped by to see her and then mentioned their dinner last night in front of Abe. Jada says she will tell her to back off. Rafe notes that he already did that but it did not seem to phase her. Rafe says Talia went from their dinner together to how unfair the policy is and then concluded with how clearly attracted they are to each other. Jada says she’s sorry and she’s mortified. Rafe says it’s okay and he just wanted her to know that Talia clearly hasn’t given up her campaign. Jada assures that she will handle her but insists that she has never encouraged that as she knows there can be nothing between them and that Rafe has no interest in her in that way. Rafe thinks the problem is that he actually is interested.

Sloan comes home and finds Eric cleaning up the apartment. Sloan questions what all this is. Eric explains that Jada executed a search warrant after someone sent Paulina a threatening text message last night. Sloan remarks that apparently she’s already been tried and found guilty. Eric mentions Jada leaving a message that they want Sloan to come to the police station. Sloan complains that she’s getting tired of this. Eric adds that they want her to bring her phone and she better do what they say. Sloan assures that she has nothing to hide and offers her phone so Eric can see for himself.

Talia takes care of Chanel’s wound at the bakery. Chanel jokes that it was good to hire a doctor. Talia comments on Chanel getting in a street brawl and that it really looked like they were going to kill each other. Chanel admits she’s really glad Talia showed up when she did in general. Chanel says when Allie left, she lost not only her girlfriend but also her business partner and she was feeling overwhelmed until Talia showed up and now she’s finally seeing a path forward. Chanel thanks Talia for everything.

Gwen tells Leo that she doesn’t get how she’s winning. Leo encourages that her sexual exploits with Alex have made Xander mad with jealousy, so now he’s trying to make her jealous by stripping Chloe. Gwen remarks that it doesn’t feel like winning to her. Leo insists that Xander is using Chloe so that Gwen will come back to him. Gwen suggests maybe Leo’s plan backfired and now Xander has real feelings for Chloe. Leo admits he hadn’t thought of that.

Xander tells Chloe that he’s really sorry and asks for another chance. Chloe relates to being provoked in to doing something you regret. Chloe admits she’s actually really enjoyed hanging out with Xander and she never thought she’d be leaning on him for emotional support. Chloe jokes with Xander that they are good as long as he keeps his dirty paws away from her.

Jada questions what Rafe just said. Rafe clarifies that if he wasn’t her boss, he would ask her out. Jada responds that she would say yes. Rafe says he thought if they were aware of the situation, they could be more in control of the situation. Jada agrees but thinks the problem is not that he’s her boss because he’s very good and professional. Jada thinks the problem is the policy. Rafe says the policy is still real so nothing can happen. Jada decides to get going now that that’s settled. They say goodnight to one another as Jada then exits the office.

Eric tells Sloan that he doesn’t need to see her phone as he believes her. Sloan states that at least someone does. Eric does have one question and asks why she has baby’s-breath from a bouquet in her hair. Sloan says it’s been a long day and she’s going to shower. Sloan asks Eric to make dinner or order in because she’s not in the mood to go out as she’s had it with the good people of Salem. After Sloan goes to shower, Eric picks up her phone.

Abe tells Paulina that he wasn’t just trying to get her away from Sloan and it’s not that he doesn’t like having Chanel here, but he would like a little alone time with her. Paulina says once Sloan is behind bars, they will be Paris bound and they kiss. Paulina and Abe get the table set for dinner while Paulina decides to text Chanel to find out where she is.

Chanel and Talia are interrupted by Paulina’s text. Chanel says she should get going since Paulina wants her dinner. Talia tells Chanel that she’s all bandaged up and good to go. Chanel notes that they always order too much and invites Talia to join them for dinner. Talia asks if she’s sure as she doesn’t want to intrude. Chanel assures that Paulina loves her and will be happy to see her again. Talia accepts the invite and thanks her. Chanel thanks Talia for the medical assistance and they leave together. After they leave, someone sneaks in to the bakery and pours something in to a bowl of dough to tamper with their product..

Days of Our Lives Update

Alex goes to Gwen’s room at the Salem Inn. Alex says he knows she’s busy but her assistant told him that she was working from home. Gwen says it’s okay and invites him in. Alex says he just needs to vent about his infuriating relative and figured she might understand. Gwen assumes he’s talking about Xander, so she says she is all ears.

Chloe and Xander play darts at the Brady Pub. Chloe talks about her bad last shot and how this time she is closing her eyes to concentrate first. Chloe then throws and hits a bullseye which excites her. Xander congratulates her and they hug as Brady walks in and greets them.

During hypnosis, Marlena asks if Stephanie still hears the sound of her mother’s voice but she doesn’t so Marlena brings her out of the hypnosis. Marlena asks how she feels. Stephanie says she’s fine and asks if it worked. Chad worries that he messed it up by asking who’s name Stephanie heard and thinks he threw it off. Stephanie confirms that she did hear Kayla say a name. Chad asks if it was Thomas Banks, but Stephanie reveals that she’s pretty sure it was Victor Kiriakis. Stephanie confirms that’s definitely what Kayla said. Chad wonders what it means and what Victor could possibly have to do with Kayla’s kidnapping.

Kayla helps Steve up and sits him in a chair in the wine cellar, asking if he’s okay. Steve asks if it’s really her and kisses her as they tearfully reunite.

Alex tells Gwen that he’s sorry to disappoint and as much as detests Xander, he’s here about Maggie, who he calls the boss from Hell. Gwen asks what she did now. Alex says he had an unbelievable opportunity land in his lap with the four prisms that the DiMeras and ISA were trying to get their hands on for decades. Alex says he found out Dr. Rolf had them and he pulled some strings so the prisms would’ve belonged to Titan in the biggest deal of the century but Maggie didn’t understand and made him go crawling back. Alex calls this a catastrophe because they lost and now the prisms will end up in the wrong hands and who knows what they will be used for.

Steve hopes he’s not dreaming and Kayla assures that it’s real as they kiss. Kayla tells him that she’s missed him so much. Steve thought he was going to have to miss her forever and to live without her. Steve calls this a miracle. Kayla asks how badly he’s hurt. Steve questions her worrying about him after everything she’s been through. Steve says he just has a little headache from where Bo pistol whipped him and doesn’t suppose that was a dream either. Steve can’t believe it and talks about Bo being dead for years but there he was alive and then he treated him like his sworn enemy. Kayla explains that Megan brainwashed him so he’s not really Bo and is like a heartless impostor. Steve asks if Bo was working with Thomas Banks in taking Kayla off the island. Kayla doesn’t know anything about that and asks why. Steve informs her that Megan said Thomas was the one who took her. Kayla calls Megan a liar and complains that Bo went rogue and Megan knew it. Kayla figures Megan just didn’t want to give Hope the satisfaction of knowing that Bo is alive. Steve asks if she knows why Bo brought her here. Kayla explains that Bo wants her to use the prisms to create the miracle serum that Dr. Rolf and Megan have been working on. Kayla says she doesn’t even have any idea how to do it, so they are never getting out of here. Steve encourages that so many people are looking for her and they know he’s here now, so it’s only a matter of time before they are found.

Stephanie goes over that they know Kayla is in Greece and Victor is from Greece. Marlena wonders if Victor was somehow involved in Kayla’s disappearance. Stephanie doesn’t know what to think. Chad suggests going straight to Victor directly. Stephanie agrees and adds that they could get Maggie involved to help. Chad assures that Maggie will be on their side.

Gwen tells Alex that she still doesn’t understand why Victor made Maggie the CEO of Titan and argues that she doesn’t seem very bright or have much experience. Gwen insists that Maggie can’t afford to lose Alex because she needs his energy and business sense. Gwen calls him a tremendous asset to the company. Alex thanks her but says unfortunately Maggie thinks he’s a liability so that’s why Maggie is dying to replace him and probably will. Gwen questions who she would replace him with and who would want to take a thankless job. Alex tells her that it starts with an X. Alex says that Xander is miserable as Gwen’s business partner so he’d be happy to abandon the Spectator and make his mark on Titan. Alex adds that Xander would also be punishing him for taking his place in Gwen’s bed, by taking his spot in Titan.

Brady questions what’s going on here. Xander says they are just playing darts while Brady points out that Chloe hates darts. Xander says not anymore as she just got a bullseye. Chloe tells Brady that she and Xander were eating alone at separate tables, so they just ran in to each other. Chloe asks how Rachel is doing. Brady says she’s okay and happy to have Marlena back. Chloe tells him how sorry and ashamed she is of what she said to Rachel and says it’s no excuse but she was so hurt from Rachel saying she hated her. Xander assures that Brady understands, but Brady tells him to stay out of this. Xander argues that if Brady doesn’t understand, that would be very unkind of him since Rachel is being horrible to Chloe. Brady tells him to shut up while Xander continues saying that Rachel has provoked Chloe over and over again until she finally couldn’t take it anymore, lost her temper, and gave Rachel a taste of her own nasty medicine. Brady warns Xander not to talk about his daughter and that he has no idea what she’s been through. Brady adds that Rachel’s mother is in prison, so as a parent, he tries to give her tenderness and understanding. Brady questions how any of this is Xander’s business and then questions Chloe telling him about it. Chloe apologizes but says she was upset and needed someone to talk to. Brady questions confiding in Xander of all people in Salem. Xander argues that he happens to be compassionate and understanding. Xander remarks that he’s glad that Chloe stood up to Brady’s spiteful daughter. Brady calls Xander spiteful and insensitive, arguing that he doesn’t know what it’s like to be a parent so he can’t talk like he does. Brady adds that Xander doesn’t even know how to be a decent human being. Xander brings up that he gave Alex a black eye the other day, so maybe Brady would like one too.

Steve tells Kayla how crushed their kids were to lose her and brings up how Stephanie didn’t make it to the hospital in time before she supposedly died and she was so tortured by that. Kayla can’t wait to see Joey, Tripp, and Stephanie. Kayla worries that Steve needs stitches but Steve assures it will heal fine. Kayla says it’s bad enough that Bo kidnapped her, but now to hurt him this way. Steve insists that they will be fine and Bo will be too. Kayla hopes so but feels that Bo somehow broke away from Megan’s mind control. Kayla talks about all Bo has been through over ten years in limbo with whatever Dr. Rolf and Megan did to him. Kayla worries that Bo is at war with himself because he kept talking about wanting a fresh start and figuring out who he really is. Steve asks if being Bo Brady doesn’t appeal to him anymore. Kayla says she kept trying to appeal to him about their past but Bo didn’t want to hear it and just dismissed it. Kayla adds that Bo wants to build an empire with wealth and power. Kayla thinks it’s all about being Victor’s son or maybe even his clone.

Gwen encourages Alex that Titan is his birthright, so she warns him not to roll over and let Xander take his job. Gwen questions why Maggie would want Xander anyway after he screwed her daughter over. Alex remarks that it seems Maggie has a soft spot for Xander and just forgives him for whatever he does. Alex can’t believe Maggie gives Xander a pass at every turn, but get pissed off at him if he even sits in her CEO chair. Alex stops and apologizes but Gwen tells him to go ahead and insult Xander because she doesn’t care. Alex asks if she no longer has a soft spot for Xander. Gwen asks why should she. Gwen adds that ever since taking a step back from their relationship, Xander has been avoiding her at every turn and didn’t even bother to show up at the office for work today. Alex asks if he at least had an excuse but Gwen says he didn’t call or even bother go give an excuse. Gwen remarks that it’s no mystery where he’s spending his time now and that he’s probably cozying up to Chloe as they speak.

Chloe tries to stop Xander and Brady from fighting. Xander calls Brady arrogant and self righteous, bringing up that he fathered a child with a sadistic psychopath. Brady warns him not to go there. Chloe says that’s enough. Brady agrees and then Chloe tells him he can leave. Brady refuses to leave until he talks to Chloe. Xander asks if Chloe wants to talk to him. Brady argues that Chloe can speak for herself and asks if they can talk. Chloe asks Xander to give them a few minutes. Xander agrees and goes to get another round of drinks. Brady sits with Chloe and says he wants to fix this which surprises Chloe. Chloe cries that she was so terrible to his daughter and feels horrible about it. Chloe says she would understand why that would be a deal breaker. Brady says it doesn’t have to be and that Rachel just needs to understand that Chloe doesn’t hate her. Chloe asks how she could hate Rachel when she’s just a child who has been through way too much lately. Chloe says her heart breaks for her having Kristen as a mother. Chloe adds that she truly loves Rachel and wishes she didn’t see her as the enemy or as the person who came between her and her mother. Brady encourages that they used to have a great relationship. Chloe wishes she could have that again but cries that she can’t take back what she said, so Rachel just thinks of her as the evil step monster. Chloe asks how to change that. Brady says he will talk to her. Chloe offers to write an apology but Brady says he seems to be the only one who can get through to her. Chloe is not sure talking will be enough to get Rachel to see her in a better light, feeling that it’s going to take a miracle. Brady questions if she’s saying she wants to give up because of this issue with his daughter. Chloe cries that she doesn’t. Xander then comes back and asks Chloe if she’s ready for a rematch at darts. Brady then gets up and walks out of the Pub.

Alex questions Gwen about Xander and Chloe. Gwen informs him that she saw them with their heads together the other day. Gwen says she stopped Leo from putting it in his column, thinking he was making something out of nothing, but now she’s having second thoughts. Gwen shows Alex the photo that Leo sent her of Xander and Chloe hugging and asks if that looks platonic to him. Alex says maybe. Gwen says maybe she should’ve let Leo run the story then, especially since he replaced it with something Sloan would have gone mental over. Gwen wonders if Leo was right about Chloe and Xander because after she told Leo it was rubbish, she walked in and saw the two of them in each others’ arms.

Xander tries to encourage Chloe to another game of darts but Chloe doesn’t want to play anymore. Xander blames Brady for making her feel worse. Chloe says she’s just miserable and full of regret and guilt. Chloe adds that Xander threatening to beat up Brady didn’t help. Xander apologizes and argues that Rachel treating Chloe like dirt and Brady doing nothing to protect her from it is outrageous. Chloe argues that there’s nothing Brady can do to protect her from it because Kristen has convinced Rachel that she’s evil and that she’s keeping her from her mother, so now Rachel just wants her out of her and Brady’s life. Xander guesses all he did by nixing Leo’s article was postpone the inevitable. Chloe asks what he means. Xander says from personal and recent experience, there comes a point of no return in a failing relationship. Xander talks about trying to go back to before it all fell apart and trying to make it work, but it’s already over and just a matter of admitting it to yourself. Xander says he could have saved he and Sarah so much heartache if he just let go, but now they are divorced and Sarah can’t even bring herself to live in Salem. Chloe asks if he thinks she and Brady are at the point of no return. Xander responds that it doesn’t matter what he thinks and asks what she thinks.

Brady goes home where Marlena is reading. Brady talks about still getting goosebumps when he sees her because he’s so grateful that she is there. Marlena feels the same and is grateful to be alive and home with family she loves. Brady asks if there’s any news about Kayla. Marlena responds that they may be making progress as Chad and Stephanie were over and they think Victor may be able to shine some light on where Kayla is. Brady questions that. Marlena explains that Victor is not involved in Kayla’s disappearance but Stephanie remembered Kayla saying something about him. Brady says that could be crucial to finding Kayla and offers to talk to Victor. Marlena says they will see how they do and if they don’t discover anything, then maybe Brady can give it a try.

Chad and Stephanie go to the Titan office where Maggie asks what she can do for them. Chad asks if Victor is around. Maggie says he’s out of town. Stephanie says they needed to ask him something. Maggie suggests asking her and maybe she could help. Chad explains that Kayla is in Greece and asks if Maggie can think of any reason why Kayla would bring up Victor’s name when Stephanie asked where she was. Maggie says she can’t be sure but Victor has investment properties all over Greece. Stephanie asks for a list of those properties. Maggie says she has access and get her assistant on it right away. Stephanie says that would be very helpful. Chad thanks her and asks if she can think of anyone in Greece that is connected to Victor. Maggie says they will keep their ears out and if they hear anything, they will be their first call.

Steve and Kayla talk about this being Victor’s childhood home. Steve comments on the smell of goats. Kayla mentions that Bo did encourage her to open up a bottle from the wine cellar. Steve suggests making the best of it while they are stuck here but Kayla thinks he should stick to water and aspirin for his headache. Steve agrees to hold off on wine until they get out. Kayla assures they will have champagne when they get out. Steve agrees that they will party, sing, and dance back in Salem. Kayla states that just being with him makes her so happy and grateful because he is all she really needs as they kiss.

Chloe tells Xander that she doesn’t know how she and Brady can come back from this but she also doesn’t know how to give up since she has loved him for so long. Xander says he understands but it’s not like Brady is the only fish in the sea as there are plenty of handsome single men in Salem. Chloe asks like who. Xander asks what he is. Chloe brings up that he left her in the clutches of a Mexican drug lord. Xander says she’s just never going to let that go. Xander admits he has some flaws and has behaved abominably at times, but jokes that he’s better looking and more intelligent than Brady. Chloe jokes that she still can’t let the left her to die stuff go as they toast their beers.

Marlena tells Brady that Rachel has been playing in her room for hours and she offered to take her out for ice cream but she refused. Brady explains that Rachel didn’t want Marlena to know that she’s grounded because she decided to skip school and take an uber to prison to see Kristen. Brady adds that he forced Kristen to write a letter to Rachel, telling her to accept Chloe, but Rachel saw through it. Brady thought they could work through it but it’s just escalated and then Rachel told Chloe that she hated her and out of anger and frustration, Chloe gave it right back. Brady doesn’t know what to do as he wants to put his kid first because he doesn’t want her to be miserable, but if he doesn’t fix things with Chloe, he’s going to be miserable. Marlena relates to having the same problem with John and Sami. Brady remembers how terrible he was to her as a teenager but she took it with grace. Marlena understands he was acting out of anger like Rachel is, but he outgrew it. Brady says that John and Marlena were already married and a solid couple, so there was no coming between them while Rachel still thinks that he and Kristen could get back together. Brady adds that to top it off, Xander is moving in on Chloe. Marlena is surprised as she didn’t think Xander was her type. Brady says whether he is or isn’t, they are hanging out. Marlena assures they are just friends. Brady agrees, for now. Marlena says she’s so sorry and asks how she can help. Brady asks Marlena to talk to Rachel, thinking she might be able to get through to her. Marlena agrees to do that right now. Brady says he has no expectations but thinks she might be the only other person in the world that can make her understand things. Marlena agrees to do her best but says not to expect any miracles. Brady thinks Rachel having her grandma back is miracle enough. Marlena then heads to Rachel’s room.

Chad and Stephanie walk through the town square as Stephanie tries calling Steve but says it’s going straight to voicemail. Chad gets a text from Maggie with the listings of Victor’s properties in Greece which Stephanie says she will text over to Steve. Stephanie knows they don’t have anything concrete, but she feels like they are getting closer. Chad encourages that they are and they are going to find her mom. Alex then appears and questions what they mean by finding her mom. Stephanie then reveals to Alex that her mom is alive.

Kayla wonders where Bo went as she thought he would be eager to supervise her scientific endeavors. Steve wonders why Bo left him with her, knowing he’d try to break them out. Kayla asks if he thinks anything will bring her brother back. Steve assures that he thinks the real Bo is still in there. Steve talks about how Bo threatened to take his other eye out but he couldn’t go through with it and kept him alive. Kayla says Bo isn’t thinking rationally. Steve believes that deep down, Bo knows he needs them to save him from himself. Steve brings up that it was love that got through to he and John when Megan messed with their minds. Steve encourages that will get through to Bo as he will feel all of their love and come back to them, just like he came back to her.

Marlena comes back from Rachel’s room and informs Brady that Rachel is busy perfecting her 3D printing skills. Marlena adds that she did ask about Chloe but Rachel was not very receptive, so she will try again tomorrow. Brady knows she said this might be a long process but he doesn’t think he has time as he feels Chloe slipping through his fingers as they speak and it may already be too late..

Chloe resumes playing darts with Xander and gets another bullseye. Xander says he’s proud of her. Xander toasts to Chloe’s new found dart prowess and to both of them letting go of the past and getting on with their lives, right as Gwen enters the Pub. Gwen thinks the universe is trying to tell her something and remarks that it looks like the rumors are true. Chloe questions what rumors. Gwen responds that according to Leo, they are Salem’s new hottest couple and it looks like he was right.

Alex tells Stephanie that he’s really happy for her and can’t tell her what a relief it is for him either. Stephanie points out that he barely knew her mom. Alex says that’s true, but if she’s alive, at least now he knows he didn’t deprive her of being able to say goodbye to her after all.

Kayla shows Steve the old letter she found from Victor to Caroline, a plea to come visit him in Greece, but she never read it as it was returned to sender. Steve notes that it looks like it makes Kayla sad. Kayla confirms it does but she’s not really sure why. Kayla is glad Caroline stayed with her father as she always felt they had a wonderful marriage, but she finds herself feeling sorry for Victor and questions why. Kayla guesses there is just something tragic about Victor pining after Caroline all these years. Steve says it reminds him of when they read the story of Emily and Gideon. Kayla recalls how sad they were, thinking they wouldn’t get their happily ever after. Steve points out that they did and they will too. Kayla hugs Steve and says she loves him.

Days of Our Lives Update

Marlena is reading at home until Chad shows up at the door. Marlena says it’s nice to see him and asks if he’s alright. Chad says he’s fine and that he heard she’s alive but he had to see it with his own eyes. Chad asks how she is and tells her she looks amazing. Marlena says she’s just so happy and thrilled to be back with the people she loves. Chad assures that everyone else is just as happy and calls it a miracle but notes that it’s just too bad that Kate didn’t make it too.

Stephanie is with Tripp at his apartment when her phone rings and she answers hoping it’s Kayla. Stephanie is shocked by what she hears and questions how did this happen.

Kayla opens the locked box she found in the wine cellar in Greece and finds a stack of envelopes. She wonders what could be so important for Victor to keep hidden all this time. Kayla picks one up and sees it’s a letter addressed to her mother, Caroline Brady.

Steve introduces himself to the cop in Greece and says he’s working with the ISA and needs to see the evidence found in Dr. Rolf’s room. The cop responds that he’s afraid his colleague already made that request as he arrived a few minutes before him. Steve asks if he’s still there. The cop informs him that “Mr. Donovan” is in the other room. Steve questions Shane being there. The cop suggests Steve join him while he checks to see what’s taking so long on their end. Steve goes to the room looking for Shane, but is shocked to find Bo instead. Steve asks if it’s really him and how this can be. Steve questions him being alive which Bo confirms that he is. Steve hugs Bo in shock while asking how this is possible that he’s alive. Steve then questions what Bo is doing in Greece, posing as Shane Donovan.

Hope and Harris show the photo of Thomas Banks around the restaurant until the bartender calls out that he wants to talk to them.

Stephanie says she’ll be there as soon as she can and hangs up. Tripp asks about the call. Stephanie reveals it was a hospital in Seattle as their brother Joey has been in an accident.

Kayla questions Victor keeping this letter to Caroline all these years. Kayla opens the envelope reads the letter where Victor wrote that he had just arrived in Greece and how it was terrible to leave her behind in Salem but that it was for the best after what happened between them.

Steve questions Bo about what is going on, how he’s alive, and what he’s doing here. Bo calls it a long story. Steve says that’s a story he’d like to hear. Steve explains that the cop told him that Bo said he was Shane Donovan and that he was trying to get all the evidence from Dr. Rolf’s room and asks why he would say that. Bo claims that he’s working undercover for the ISA but he can’t go in to detail. Bo says he just has to get some evidence and get the hell out. Steve asks if he’s in some kind of trouble. Bo claims he’s working a case and just has to go. Steve says not until they talk. Bo says he can’t talk as this is a highly sensitive operation. Steve argues that Kayla is missing and some psycho has her which is why he’s in Greece because he’s trying to track down Thomas Banks. Bo asks why Banks. Steve says that he and Hope have reason to believe Thomas is the one who took Kayla. Steve adds that Hope is here in Greece. Steve pulls out his phone and says he has to call Hope to tell her that Bo is alive. Bo grabs Steve’s phone away from him and says he’s not calling anyone.

The bartender in Greece introduces himself as Konstantin and says he’s the owner. He acknowledges that Hope might not mean any trouble but he recognizes seeing Harris on the news, being arrested for many crimes including trying to kill Hope on their wedding. Hope tries to explain as Konstantin questions how Harris got out of prison, assuming he must have escaped and is now a wanted man. He asks Hope if Harris is holding her against her will and then says she must be too scared to say so. He declares that Hope is safe now because he will make sure Harris never hurts anyone again.

Tripp asks Stephanie about Joey’s accident. Stephanie notes that he’s fine but pretty banged up with cracked ribs and a broken leg, so he’s in surgery now. Stephanie says that Joey is all alone and going to need help getting around so she’s going to Seattle since Steve and Kayla can’t. Tripp tells her that he will go. Stephanie argues against that, pointing out that Tripp has a job here. Tripp says she does too but Stephanie says she can work from anywhere. Tripp points out that Stephanie hasn’t slept since hearing from Kayla, so she needs to go see Marlena to see if Kayla left any clue as to where she might be. Tripp adds that Joey would want her to focus on finding Kayla. Tripp decides he will book his flight now. Stephanie thanks him and says she really appreciates it, but reminds him about his big date with Wendy.

Chad asks Marlena about Kate being in the lab too. Marlena confirms that Megan was holding all three of them. Chad goes over how now Marlena is home, Kayla is missing, and Kate’s gone. Marlena says she’s so sorry. Chad says he can’t stop thinking about Kate and trying to put all the bizarre pieces together. Chad asks what Megan wanted and what she did. Chad knows she doesn’t want to relive the nightmare, but Kate was like a mother to him and had a second chance but his own sister took it away from her. Chad states that losing Abigail how they did was a shock and having the answers made it a little easier. Marlena understands and wishes she could tell him more, but they were sedated most of the time and there was only one day where they were conscious together. Chad asks how Kate was. Marlena says she was alright and kept demanding to know what Megan planned to do with him but Megan wouldn’t tell them much and then she put them under again. Marlena adds that when she and Kayla woke up, Kate wasn’t there, so they tried to escape and find her but Dr. Rolf stopped them. Chad asks if he told them where Kate was. Marlena responds that Kate was with Megan as she was apparently going to be the first test subject of Rolf’s new serum which he said would be life changing. Marlena mentions that Megan came back and said that Kate had refused to cooperate so she was going to be taking a different path. Marlena adds that she and Kayla remained in the lab and a few minutes later, they heard a gunshot. Marlena assumes it was the same henchman who took Kayla off the island. Chad brings up Thomas Banks. Marlena says she hadn’t considered him and asks if his name came up. Chad informs her that Steve told Stephanie that Megan is claiming that Thomas Banks took Kayla.

Hope stops Konstantin and tells him there has been a misunderstanding. Hope explains that what he saw was old news and shows him an article on her phone that says Harris was cleared and found innocent of all charges. Harris confirms it’s true and says he feels terrible about all the people he hurt. Konstantin apologizes. Harris says he had every right to be upset and he’s glad that he was looking out for Hope. Hope thanks Konstantin and promises that Harris is not a danger to anyone. Hope adds that he’s actually helping her find her sister in law who was kidnapped. Hope shows Konstantin a picture of Kayla and asks if he’s seen her.

Kayla continues reading Victor’s letter to Caroline about how he wanted to stay in Salem but it had become too much of a risk with his feelings for her and that he loved her, so he didn’t want to destroy her life or her family.

Steve asks what the hell Bo is doing and says they need to call Hope and find Thomas Banks. Bo disagrees. Steve repeats that Thomas took Kayla. Bo responds that Thomas didn’t take Kayla, because he did. Steve asks what he’s talking about. Bo says he doesn’t have time to explain. Steve demands to know where Kayla is and asks if she’s alright. Bo says of course and asks if he really thinks he would hurt his own sister. Steve says he doesn’t, but he doesn’t get why Bo took Kayla off Megan’s island without telling anybody when he and John were there searching for her. Steve doesn’t know how they missed him. Bo asks what difference it makes. Steve shouts that Kayla is his wife and argues that Bo had to know how worried everyone would be. Steve questions Bo not letting anybody know and that he couldn’t find a way to make contact. Bo says he doesn’t have time for this. Steve tells Bo that he can trust him. Bo says that’s enough and he has to get this evidence. Bo tries to leave but Steve grabs him. Bo tells him to get the hell off of him.

Konstantin says he has not seen Kayla. Hope shows a photo of Thomas Banks and Konstantin confirms he has seen him but not in a few years. Hope tells Harris they should get back to the hotel and check in with Steve. Konstantin stops them and offers them a meal since he couldn’t provide them any information.

Tripp tells Stephanie that he hates to cancel on Wendy, but Joey needs him and Wendy will understand. Stephanie tells him to call her when he gets there. Stephanie hugs him and says he’s the best. Tripp wishes her luck with Marlena, hoping that she remembers something that helps Steve find Kayla. Stephanie then exits the apartment.

Kayla continues reading Victor’s letter to Caroline where he said he could never hurt her family but dreamed of them having a child together. Victor then wrote suggesting Caroline come there to Greece so they could be together.

Chad asks Marlena if she thinks Thomas took Kayla. Marlena admits it’s possible since Thomas had worked for Megan before. Chad asks if she saw Thomas in the lab. Marlena says she only saw Megan and Dr. Rolf. Marlena then remembers that there was someone else there.

Bo repeats to Steve to get the hell off of him and pulls a knife. Steve doesn’t believe he will cut him and reminds Bo that even if they haven’t seen each other in 10 years, he’s still his best friend in the world. Bo brings up that there was a time they hated each other and he took Steve’s eye. Steve asks Bo to put the knife down and talk. Bo says he’s done enough talking and warns him to let go before someone gets hurt. Steve doesn’t know what’s going on with him or what he’s been through but argues that this is not him as Bo Brady would never hurt him. Bo asks if he’s sure about that. Steve says he is but Bo then hits him and pins him against the wall with his knife held up. Bo declares that he took one of Steve’s eyes and now he’s going to take the other. Bo takes the knife and stabs through the wall next to Steve’s head. Steve laughs and says he knew Bo couldn’t do it. Bo then instead pulls out a gun. Steve says he doesn’t know what’s changed in Bo, but he can’t change 40 years of history and he’ll always be his closest friend. Bo tells him to shut the hell up and knocks him out.

Marlena tells Chad about the fourth tube in the lab and Dr. Rolf was about to tell her and Kayla who was in it, but Megan walked in so they never got a name. Marlena doesn’t think it could’ve been Thomas Banks if he’s been causing problems all around the world. Chad asks who she thinks it was then. Marlena is not sure they will ever know. Chad thanks her for telling him what happened and he’s glad to know that she and Kayla were with Kate in her last days and that she went out fighting. Marlena is glad he came by as they hug. Marlena tells Chad to call if he has any more questions. Chad says he appreciates that. Chad goes to leave and opens the door right as Stephanie arrives.

Kayla continues reading Victor’s letter to Caroline, saying he’s come to learn that nothing is more precious than time with the people you love and that he could send her a plane ticket so they could be together for awhile.

Hope tells Konstantin that she would normally say yes but they have lots of work to do. Konstantin encourages them to keep up their strength and calls Hope his best customer, saying he can’t let her leave without taking good care of her. Konstantin recalls Hope and Harris being there on the day they met and how happy they looked. Konstantin says that everyone there loved Hope and encourages them to have a seat, so they do. Konstantin announces he will recreate the magic of that night.

Wendy comes home and sees Tripp’s bag is packed. Tripp comes out of the back on his phone, booking his flight to Seattle. Wendy questions him going to Seattle. Tripp confirms that he is going this afternoon. Tripp apologizes but says his brother Joey was in an accident.

Stephanie tells Marlena that she knew she was back but it’s wonderful to see her as they hug. Stephanie asks how she’s feeling. Marlena says she’s fine and her family is taking very good care of her. Stephanie wasn’t expecting Chad to be there. Chad explains that he wanted to see a miracle with his own eyes and Marlena was kind enough to tell him what happened to Kate. Marlena repeats that she’s so sorry and asks Stephanie if there’s any news about Kayla. Stephanie says not yet, but that’s why she’s here because she was hoping Marlena might be able to help them find her. Marlena asks how she can help. Stephanie explains that Kayla called her but there was a lot of static and she could only make out that she was in Greece. Stephanie adds that Tripp thinks maybe her subconscious mind heard more, so maybe if Marlena hypnotizes her, she might remember. Stephanie knows the chances are slim but she will try anything that might help her mom. Marlena says she will too.

Hope and Harris get their dinner. They talk about this being a dead end with Thomas Banks. Harris suggests they finish their meal and then get back to the search. Harris jokes that Konstantin hopes for Hope to have an encore of smashing plates from their first night together. Harris recalls seeing Hope the same way everyone else did, as the beautiful American that everyone fell in love with.

Bo drags Steve back out to the main room of the Greece police station and asks the cop about the prisms. The cop hands over a bag with all three prisms and asks about Steve, thinking he was his colleague. Bo claims that Steve just told him that to get access to the prisms but he’s a con artist. Steve starts to regain consciousness. Bo claims that Steve came after him so he had to bash him in the head. Bo says he has to get him to a secure facility as Steve tries to say not to listen to him. Bo then drags Steve out of the room.

Wendy asks Tripp if Joey is going to be okay. Tripp says he has a broken leg but he should be just fine. Wendy asks if Joey is in surgery now. Tripp says that’s why he’s leaving now, to be there when he wakes up. Tripp tells Wendy that he’s really sorry that he’s going to miss their dinner. Wendy tells him not to worry as his brother needs him. Tripp thanks her for understanding. Tripp doesn’t know exactly when he’ll be back, but asks for a rain check on dinner. Wendy tells him to count on it and to tell Joey that she hopes he gets better soon. Tripp says he will see her soon and kisses her goodbye as he then exits.

Marlena begins to hypnotize Stephanie. Stephanie remembers talking to Kayla on the phone but there’s too much static. Marlena encourages Stephanie to block out all the static until all she hears is Kayla’s voice. Stephanie remembers that Kayla told her a name of who took her. Chad asks who it is. Marlena asks if she still hears the sound of her mother’s voice but she doesn’t so Marlena brings her out of the hypnosis. Marlena asks how she feels. Stephanie says she’s fine and asks if it worked. Chad worries that he messed it up by asking who’s name Stephanie heard and thinks he threw it off. Stephanie confirms that she did hear Kayla say a name. Chad asks if it was Thomas Banks, but Stephanie reveals that she’s pretty sure it was Victor Kiriakis.

Kayla continues reading Victor’s letter to Caroline, saying he knows it may be impossible but he hoped she would consider it. Bo returns and says he got the prisms she needed and another present. Bo then drags Steve in to the wine cellar which shocks Kayla. Bo tells her to stay back and that maybe Steve will live.

Harris and Hope enjoy their dinner and people in the restaurant begin dancing. Harris recalls Hope dancing on a table the last time. One of the men invite Hope to join them. Hope tries to decline but gives in and dances with them. Hope then joins in their tradition of smashing plates. Hope declares she’s not dancing alone and brings Harris into it as well. Hope and Harris hug in the center and end up kissing.

Bo tells Steve and Kayla to behave themselves and leaves them locked up in the wine cellar. Kayla then rushes to wake Steve up as they are reunited.

Days of Our Lives Update

Alex joins Maggie at the Titan office. She notes his black eye has healed while Alex says his bruised ego has as well and he always gets back up. Maggie asks if he’s ready for the board meeting. Alex says he actually wants to sit out on this one if that’s okay. Maggie asks if he has something more important to do. Alex knows she’s had her doubts about him but he promises to prove to her that she made the right decision in keeping him in his position, by closing a huge deal for Titan. Maggie asks what huge deal but Alex says it’s a surprise. Maggie doesn’t like surprises but Alex promises she will love this one.

Tripp goes home and lays on the couch but then Stephanie shows up and says she’s been trying to get ahold of him. Tripp asks if there’s news about Steve and if he found Megan Hathaway. Stephanie confirms that he did, but there’s more. Stephanie reveals that Kayla is alive.

Hope and Harris go to a hotel in Greece. Harris carries her bags and tells her that his room will be right down the hall. Hope thanks him for coming with her. Harris says it’s the least he could do as he knows how important Kayla is to her. Hope says she’s family since she was married to Kayla’s brother, Bo. Harris mentions passing a wedding in the plaza. Hope acknowledges that Greece can be romantic. Harris suggests after they find Kayla, maybe they can hang out for awhile and appreciate the beauty. They agree that they would like that. Harris says he will let her unpack and goes to leave, but stops.

Andrew Donovan goes to the police station and greets Shawn. Shawn says he hasn’t seen him in forever while Andrew jokes about missing the last family reunions. Shawn mentions needing to get everyone together again. Andrew informs him that it looks like his mom is trying to do that now as Hope is in Greece, trying to find Kayla.

Kayla tries to escape the cabin in Greece but Bo appears at the door and asks if she’s going somewhere.

Harris and Hope almost kiss but are interrupted by Steve arriving at the door. Steve tells them that he thinks he’s got a lead on the son of a bitch who took Kayla

Kayla claims to Bo that she was just going out to get fresh air. Bo tells her to let him know and he’ll crack a window. Bo hopes she wasn’t planning to leave, warning that the path is treacherous. Bo tells her that he has dinner but Kayla says she’s not hungry. Bo encourages her to eat because it’s a big night. Bo asks if she’s made any progress on the formula for the serum from the orchid. Kayla responds that she’s working on it. Bo mentions that Dr. Rolf said the formula would reverse aging so it would be worth a fortune that would dwarf Victor’s. Kayla asks if Bo’s goal is just to be richer than Victor. Bo says he just wants to build an empire of his own and getting a back a few years he lost would be a benefit.

Shawn thanks Andrew for the update on the search for Kayla but says he knows he’s here on ISA business. Andrew confirms he’s here to transfer his prisoner. Shawn hopes they lock Megan up for the rest of her miserable life. Shawn and Andrew then head in to the interrogation room where Megan awaits. Megan tells Shawn that she would know his face anywhere and that he reminds her so much of his father.

Tripp is shocked and questions how Stephanie knows Kayla is alive. Stephanie confirms that she talked to her on the phone and heard her voice. Tripp hugs her and calls it unbelievable. Tripp says Steve must be going out of his mind. Stephanie says he’ll be a lot better once he finds her. Tripp doesn’t understand and asks where she is. Stephanie says they don’t know as the connection on the call was horrible, so all they know is that Kayla’s been abducted somewhere in Greece. Tripp asks if Steve is there now. Stephanie confirms that he and Hope just arrived. Stephanie adds that Kayla sounded so scared, so she hopes they get there in time. Tripp encourages that he will and that Kayla has survived this long. Stephanie talks about being unable to sleep since the call and knowing that she’s been alive after all these months. Stephanie wonders if she missed a clue to what Kayla was trying to tell her and wishes she could hear the call over again. Tripp suggests maybe she can.

Harris asks if Steve got a location on Thomas Banks but Steve reveals that Dr. Rolf has been spotted in the area. Harris asks how Steve knows that Rolf is here. Steve says his face is all over the news feeds as he’s an international fugitive, so someone called in a tip while he was ordering takeout but he was able to give the local cops the slip and they believe that he made it off the island. Harris says they were so close. Steve notes that Dr. Rolf was apparently in a hurry and left all his stuff at the hotel, so he’s going to the police station to see if they found anything that can lead them to Thomas Banks and Kayla.

Bo asks Kayla how soon the serum will be ready. Kayla responds that after reviewing Dr. Rolf’s notes, she’s pretty sure there is no chance that she will make that serum for him.

Andrew informs Megan that she is now in the custody of the Salem police department, who will hold her until she is transferred to Statesville prison. Megan continues talking about how Shawn reminds her of his father and remarks that it’s as if she actually succeeded in turning back the clock and made Bo young again. Shawn questions what that is supposed to mean.

Bo asks Kayla what the problem is since she has Dr. Rolf’s notes and he made several batches of the serum. Bo tells her to just follow the directions. Kayla argues that it’s complicated, they’re not in a lab, and the notes are incomplete. Bo asks what she means. Kayla says it’s clear that Dr. Rolf was taking instructions from what was on the three prisms that Megan got last summer. Kayla says she can’t decipher the short hand. Bo questions what she is saying. Kayla declares that without the prisms, there’s no serum. Bo thinks he knows where they might be.

Alex calls the police department in Greece and says he’s ready to move over the funds if he has his items. The officer confirms he does and tells Alex to just wire the money and the prisms are his.

Tripp suggests Stephanie try hypnosis and tells her about how it worked for Allie before. Tripp says Stephanie may have been in shock but her brain may have remembered more than she thinks. Stephanie worries that Marlena just got home but Tripp assures that Marlena would want nothing more than to help find Kayla. Stephanie agrees that she has to try and hopes she remembers something that will bring Kayla home.

Bo tells Kayla that when they left the island, he was going to go get the prisms but they weren’t where he thought they would be. Kayla repeats no prisms, no serum, so there is no reason for him to keep her here. Bo says he might know where they are at as it’s possible that Dr. Rolf left them behind.

Alex prepares his wire transfer to the Greek police. Maggie returns to the office. Alex asks how the board meeting was. Maggie says she was distracted the whole time because she was worried about Alex and his big surprise he has planned. Alex informs her that while she was at the meeting, he cemented the deal, so he’s happy to share. Alex brings up Dr. Rolf. Maggie says he’s currently a fugitive and questions what he has to do with Alex’s deal. Alex reveals that Dr. Rolf was hiding out in Greece but he got away, though he possessed three prisms that are powerful artifacts that Li Shin failed to acquire for DiMera last summer. Maggie mentions hearing of these prisms. Alex talks about how there are reports that the prisms can cure diseases and possibly even reverse aging. Alex asks what if he told her that he was about to secure all of the prisms for Titan.

Shawn questions what Megan meant when she said make Bo young again when she knows he’s been dead for years. Megan claims that she was just saying seeing his face was like traveling back through time. Megan states that she and Bo had a very intense love affair until he settled for Hope. Shawn warns her to keep his parents names out of her mouth as he’s done listening to this nonsense. Shawn argues that she’s hurt his family enough. Megan doesn’t think Hope is suffering that much and says she’s moved on from them and from Bo as well with Harris Michaels. Megan informs Shawn that Harris and Hope are together for real now. Shawn repeats that he’s had enough. Megan mocks him that it’s tough when his mom moves on with a new dad. Shawn warns her to shut her mouth.

Hope and Steve talk about finding Kayla. Steve knows it’s a longshot and maybe implausible to think Dr. Rolf left a clue behind. Steve knows the connection is thin but it’s the only one that they have to Thomas Banks, but Harris says maybe not.

Tripp makes breakfast for Stephanie. Stephanie says she’s not hungry but Tripp encourages her to keep up her strength so that she can help Kayla. Tripp offers to cancel his plans for later so he can make sure she can get in to see Marlena. Stephanie asks if Tripp’s plans are with Wendy. Tripp asks who told her that. Stephanie knows Tripp and Joey were competing for Wendy’s attention in Hong Kong and that Joey backed off, then tried to play matchmaker. Stephanie says that Joey just wants him to be happy and she does too. Stephanie asks if Tripp likes Wendy. Tripp confirms that he does but the problem is that she’s been hanging out with Johnny. Stephanie points out that Wendy is going to dinner with Tripp, so maybe she’s just as interested in him.

Harris reminds Hope of the restaurant where they first met. Harris notes that Megan had him staying in a room upstairs and there was another one of her employees looking for the prisms, Thomas Banks.

Maggie tells Alex that she’s heard rumors of these prisms for years but it sounds like science fiction to her. Alex knows that it’s far fetched but says for the price he’s paying, the risk is worth the reward. Maggie says she will be the judge of that. Maggie asks for the details and who his contact is on this transaction. Alex explains that when he found out Dr. Rolf was in Greece, he reached out to Victor’s people and they put him in touch with the police there and it turned out that when Dr. Rolf evaded capture, he left the prisms in his hotel room. Maggie questions them agreeing to sell the prisms to Alex. Alex confirms that one of the cops did. Alex adds that they are just sitting in an evidence locker and the cops have no idea what they have, so he convinced one of them to sell them to him for a relatively small sum. Alex calls it pretty amazing but Maggie calls it amazingly stupid.

Harris and Hope plan to go show Thomas Banks’ picture around while Steve decides to go see what Dr. Rolf left behind. Hope hopes that one of their longshots pans out.

Bo warns Kayla that he doesn’t have all night and has to get going. Kayla brings up their childhood which gets Bo arguing, but then he tells her it was a nice try to walk him down memory lane to get him to be the old Bo, but he likes who he is. Kayla asks what he’s going to do and if he’s just going to just walk in to a random Greek police station and ask for the prisms. Bo says he’s just going to get her what she needs to decipher Dr. Rolf’s notes and then she will get him what he needs. Kayla questions Bo leaving her in a wine cellar. Bo tells her to try to relax as he then leaves her locked up.

Stephanie asks Tripp about declaring his feelings for Wendy. Stephanie tells him that tonight’s dinner is his once chance to convince her to be with him instead of Johnny. Tripp worries about pressuring her. Stephanie doesn’t think being clear about your intentions is ever a bad thing. Tripp asks if he’s not doing what Alex did to her. Stephanie says that Alex tried to manipulate and control her because that’s who he is. Stephanie adds that unlike Tripp, Alex will do whatever it takes to get what he wants no matter what it costs.

Maggie questions Alex using Titan money to pay off a police officer but Alex argues that it’s not a payoff. Maggie asks if it’s a bribe then. Alex says this is how these people do business and Victor has relationships with them. Maggie questions him not talking to Victor about this. Alex says he wouldn’t go behind her back again because he’s going to prove to her that she can trust him. Maggie accuses him of using Victor’s name and Titan’s money to bribe a government official. Maggie remarks that Alex is now giving a black eye to the company and the family.

Andrew tells Shawn that he knows this is intense and asks if he needs to take a break but Shawn assures that he’s good. Megan comments on Shawn having the same temper as Bo. Shawn declares that he’s done talking about his father as her relationship with him is ancient history. Shawn brings up that Megan’s deal requires her to cooperate fully. Megan says she told Steve that Thomas Banks took Kayla and claims that’s all she knows. Megan adds that he can ask any questions he’d like but it will be a waste of time. Shawn says he will decide that. Megan responds that she is exercising her right to counsel because she wants to make sure this transfer goes off without a hitch. Megan asks for a phone to call her lawyer.

Harris and Hope go to the restaurant where they met. Harris recalls when he first saw her and says no photo could capture the spark in her eye as they then kiss. Hope says they shouldn’t draw attention to themselves while Harris says this is them blending in as a couple caught up in the romance of Greece, so they continue kissing.

Kayla complains about her own brother locking her in a wine cellar to create a youth serum. Kayla then finds a lockbox on one of the shelves of wines.

Bo goes to the police station in Greece and impersonates Shane Donovan. Bo says he’s here about evidence collected from Dr. Rolf’s room and a set of prisms that are extremely powerful and could be dangerous if they fall in to the wrong hands. The cops asks if he has any paperwork of his claim. Bo then questions if he’s saying there’s a problem with a request from the director of the ISA.

Maggie hopes Alex didn’t send anything to this corrupt cop in Greece. Alex states that he was about to when Maggie walked in. Maggie argues that he was doing something so irresponsible. Alex argues that acquiring these prisms for Titan is a once in a lifetime opportunity that could change the landscape of science and medicine while also humiliating DiMera Enterprises. Maggie doubts the scientific claims but says it’s still bribery and smuggling. Maggie vetoes Alex’s surprise and orders him to call the dirty cop back to tell him the deal is off. Maggie warns that she will deal with him later and asks if he understands. Alex reluctantly says that he does as Maggie exits the office.

Bo tells the cop that he needs the prisms now as it’s a matter of international security. The cop then gets a call from Alex. He tells Alex that there is a man from the ISA asking about the prisms. Alex begrudgingly tells the cop to go ahead and hand them over because the deal is off and then hangs up. Bo threatens to go over the cop’s head but the cop apologizes for the delay and directs him to wait in a room while he goes to retrieve the prisms for him. After Bo leaves, Steve arrives and tells the cop that he hopes he can help him.

Kayla searches for something open the lockbox she found. She finds a bottle opener and gets the box open.

Tripp offers to go with Stephanie to see Marlena and cancel his plans with Wendy. Stephanie tells him not to do that and thanks him for the offer but assures she’ll be okay. Stephanie adds that if anything happens or she hears from Steve, she’ll let him know. Tripp wishes her luck. Stephanie tells him the same and that Wendy would be very lucky to end up with a guy like him. Tripp thanks her for saying that. Stephanie gets a call and answers, hoping it’s Kayla.

After leaving the interrogation room, Shawn tells Andrew that he’s sorry for not keeping his cool with Megan. Andrew thinks he did fine, given the circumstances. They talk about wishing they could listen to clients and lawyers as it would make things easier. Shawn hopes Megan plays this straight but worries she could use it as another opportunity to go after Hope.

Megan uses her phone call to call Thomas Banks and give him a heads up that a lot of people are looking for him. Megan adds that he can return the favor by doing one little thing for her. Megan instructs Thomas to find Bo Brady and shoot anyone who gets in his way.

Hope asks Harris if he’s ready to do what they came for. Harris confirms that he is and pulls out a photo of Thomas Banks, wondering who they should talk to first. Hope tells him to follow her lead.

Steve introduces himself to the cop and says he’s working with the ISA and needs to see the evidence found in Dr. Rolf’s room. The cop responds that he’s afraid his colleague already made that request as he arrived a few minutes before him. Steve asks if he’s still there. The cop informs him that “Mr. Donovan” is in the other room. Steve questions Shane being there. The cop suggests Steve join him while they check to see what’s taking so long on their end. Steve goes to the room looking for Shane, but is shocked to find Bo instead.

Tripp informs Wendy that he has feelings for her. Wendy admits that when they were in Hong Kong, she thought he liked her but then when she moved here, she thought he was over her. Tripp admits that he thought he was too and told himself that, but then he was talking to a patient and it hit him how much he still felt for her. Wendy asks if she knows the patient that he talked to. Tripp tells her that it was Paulina. Wendy then questions Tripp discussing her with Paulina and asks how he could do that.

Abe is shocked to learn Paulina was in the hospital and questions why she didn’t tell him. Paulina insists that she’s fine now. Abe argues that people who are fine don’t take themselves to the hospital and demands to know what’s going on. Paulina tells him to promise not to overreact and then informs him that she thought something might be wrong with her heart, but it’s not and she’s fine. Paulina explains that what she had was a panic attack, courtesy of Sloan.

At Sloan’s apartment, Sloan tells Eric that she’s just finishing up her petition for a restraining order against Paulina. Eric asks if she really thinks that’s necessary. Sloan calls Paulina deranged for showing up here and accusing her of sending her a threatening note with letters cut out of a magazine. Eric calls it a wild accusation. Sloan guarantees it won’t be happening again after she files the restraining order because Paulina won’t be able to come within 1500 feet of her unless she doesn’t mind ending up in a jail cell. Eric then approaches the stack of magazines with scissors by it on Sloan’s desk.

Li goes to the Bistro and wonders where the hell Gabi is. Johnny arrives and asks who he’s looking for. Li informs him that Gabi said she would be there on a business dinner. Johnny guesses he’s checking up on her. Li says it’s none of his business. Johnny asks if he’s worried that Gabi lied to him and is really hooking up with Stefan right now.

Stefan and Gabi kiss in the wine cellar of the DiMera tunnels. Gabi compliments how Stefan decorated the room. Stefan calls it no picnic on the beach. Gabi says all that matters is they are here together and no one can find them, so it’s perfect. Stefan calls her perfect for him and says he has never loved anyone like he loves her and he can’t believe it took him so long to remember. Gabi says what matters is that they beat Kristen, Dr. Rolf, and Li because they love each other that much. Gabi asks if he has any idea how long she’s dreamt of this moment as they continue kissing. Gabi jokes that if they keep this up, the dinner is going to get cold. Stefan jokes that they can let it and he’ll devour her. Gabi can’t believe he got the DiMera chef to make this for him and reminds him they need to keep up their strength. Gabi asks how he got the kitchen to make all of this without EJ and Nicole finding out. Stefan reveals that they know, but they think he’s upstairs eating in his bedroom with Melinda Trask.

EJ and Nicole return to the living room as EJ questions how stupid Stefan thinks they are. EJ complains that he shouldn’t have let Nicole talk him in to coming downstairs and he should’ve barged in to the room because there’s no way Stefan is cheating on Gabi, especially with an ice sculpture like Melinda Trask. Nicole says after what she saw and what they heard upstairs, maybe Melinda can heat up when she wants to. EJ doesn’t care and wants to know what Melinda is getting out of all this. Nicole remarks that it’s more than she’s getting from him. EJ asks what she’s doing. Nicole suggests changing the subject to their own love life instead of obsessing over Stefan’s.

Li tells Johnny to stay out of his business. Johnny says he didn’t mean to overstep and that when he came to the apartment, he couldn’t help but notice the chill in the air between he and Gabi. Li doesn’t care what he noticed and argues that he doesn’t know anything about he and Gabi. Johnny offers to not comment on Li and Gabi anymore, if Li promises to stop trying to convince him that something is going on between Wendy and Tripp.

Wendy complains that she can’t believe Tripp talked about her to a patient when she’s a very private person. Tripp argues that Paulina’s more than just a patient, she’s a friend and is his sister’s boss. Tripp adds that she was also very nice to them after Kayla died. Wendy guesses that she understands. Tripp apologizes and goes to leave. Wendy says he doesn’t have to leave but Tripp informs her that he’s on duty and just took his break because he decided he had to talk to her but he shouldn’t have butted in. Wendy tells him he’s not while Tripp says he didn’t realize Wendy and Johnny were so serious. Wendy remarks that Tripp is acting like Johnny is her boyfriend or something, but says that he is not. Tripp thought they patched things up. Wendy confirms that they did and had a few dates but they’re not exclusive. Tripp asks if that means he might have a shot with her. Wendy tells him that she’s beyond flattered. Tripp guesses that means she doesn’t feel how he feels. Wendy says that’s not what she’s saying and she’s just not sure. Wendy doesn’t know what to say now. Tripp suggests they just stop talking and he kisses Wendy.

Abe questions how long Paulina has been having panic attacks. Paulina swears it was just one and she doesn’t want him worrying about her. Abe argues that he’s been worried about her and Chanel ever since Sloan started this and that the police should be doing something. Paulina agrees but says they keep saying it’s her word against Sloan’s and complains that Sloan is always one step ahead of the cops. Paulina notes that she didn’t even bother to tell the police about the latest thing, revealing that someone left a note with cutout letters from a magazine, that said “This Isn’t Over Bitch”. Abe wants to see the note but Paulina says she gave it to Chanel. Abe argues that she should’ve given it to the police as they might have been able to lift fingerprints from it. Paulina is sure she wore gloves and adds that she confronted Sloan first but she denied everything like she always does. Abe decides that does it and orders Paulina to go home and rest. Abe declares that it’s time that he handles Sloan, himself.

Sloan tells Eric that it won’t take long but she’s going to the courthouse to file the restraining order. Eric points out that it’s the late and the courthouse is closed. Sloan says they don’t lock the front entrance so she’ll just slide it under the judge’s door and come right back. Eric suggests she just e-mail it but Sloan says the judge is old school, so she wants her to see it first thing in the morning. Sloan promises it won’t take long and she’ll come right back as she then exits the apartment. Eric wonders what Sloan has done now as he sits down and begins to look through her stack of magazines.

Li admits it was petty of him to insinuate something was going on between Tripp and Wendy. Johnny asks why he did it then. Li brings up how Johnny went to such lengths to expose his involvement in what Dr. Rolf did. Johnny argues that Li hired Dr. Rolf and told him to rearrange Stefan’s brain. Li questions Johnny being outraged on behalf of an uncle he never even knew. Johnny clarifies that he didn’t do it for Stefan, but for his grandfather Stefano. Li calls Stefano a mob boss. Johnny says he wasn’t that to him and talks about adoring Stefano growing up. Johnny states that Stefan was Stefano’s son and EJ didn’t give a damn about him, so someone had to. Li complains that Johnny tried to ruin his life and also involved his sister in it. Johnny argues that Wendy was just as excited to get to the truth as he was. Johnny adds that they didn’t ruin his life as Li did that on his own. Johnny then asks what the problem is since Li and Gabi are still together, so she and Stefan are farther apart than ever. Li supposes it is time that they bury the hatchet for Wendy’s sake since she seems quite fond of him for reasons he doesn’t understand. Li adds that there doesn’t seem to be anything between Wendy and Tripp, but friendship…

Tripp and Wendy kiss until she pulls away. Tripp asks if he misread the situation. Wendy says it’s not like he forced himself on her, so Tripp questions why she pulled away. Wendy responds that ever since she came to Salem, she hasn’t had much luck in the romance department, so she doesn’t want to mess up whatever this is before it even starts. Wendy says it’s pretty obvious that there is something happening between them. Tripp calls it awesome that she feels it too. Wendy points out that there is still Johnny to consider because she cares about him too. Tripp suggests they go on a real date and then if she’s not feeling it or if she decides Johnny is the one, then they can go back to just being friends.

Gabi thought Stefan said the whole thing with Melinda was just last night. Stefan explains that he had to cover tonight, so he sent Melinda a text and she was cool with it. Gabi questions what happened tonight then. Stefan explains that he and Melinda had to make out in front of Nicole. Gabi questions him making out with that bitch. Stefan says it was just for two minutes but now EJ and Nicole think he’s upstairs with Melinda, so that he could be down here with Gabi. Gabi warns Stefan to be careful with Melinda. Stefan assures that Melinda is on their side and hates EJ for letting Kristen escape. Gabi doesn’t care and says Melinda doesn’t do anything without wanting something in return. Stefan says he promised to make a sizable donation to her fund in her daughter’s name. Gabi asks what if Melinda wants a real shot with him. Stefan assures that he’s told her that Gabi is the only woman for him. Gabi remembers feeling like she lost him forever and says she can’t go through that again. Stefan insists that she’s not going to lose him again. Gabi recalls him saying that before and turns away. Stefan tells her that everything is fine now and that it’s not the time to get superstitious. Gabi knows he made quite the effort, but says he could’ve picked a better setting since this is where she helped Abigail tie Gwen to a chair. Stefan reminds her that this is also where they finally admitted their true feelings to each other. Gabi knows they’ve had bad times but it’s led her to this journey to where she’s always wanted to be, right here in his arms as they kiss.

Eric flips through Sloan’s magazines but finds nothing cut out. Abe arrives and angrily demands to know where Sloan is. Eric informs him that she’s not home and went out to run some errands. Abe questions doing that at this time of night and warns Eric that he better hope she’s not delivering another threatening letter to his wife.

Sloan and Paulina run in to each other in the town square. Sloan asks if she’s stalking her now. Paulina says she should be asking her the same thing and tells onlookers that there is nothing to see here. Sloan shouts that the mayor’s wife is harassing a private citizen. Paulina remarks that she’s losing her mind. Sloan informs Paulina that she just filed a restraining order against her, so by this time tomorrow, she won’t be able to come within 1500 feet of her without being thrown in jail like the criminal she is.

EJ brings Nicole a drink and massages her feet. EJ apologizes if he’s been neglecting her, but says he thought she was enjoying their little game with Stefan and Gabi as much as he was. Nicole says she was but says being a co-conspirator wasn’t enough for her and asks if it is enough for him. EJ tells Nicole that he does see her as more than his co-conspirator. EJ calls her the woman he wants to be with and says it’s time he starts acting like it. EJ decides that this occasion calls for more, so he’s going down to the wine cellar to get Stefano’s favorite champagne and then he will be back to romance the beautiful woman by his side. Nicole jokes that’s more like it. EJ promises not another word will be spoken about Stefan or Gabi in this house tonight. EJ then enters the tunnels…

Stefan and Gabi kiss until he pulls out his phone to turn some music on and they begin to dance. Stefan says if this is a dream, he never wants to wake up. They start kissing and removing their clothes. Stefan calls her even more beautiful than he remembers as they continue kissing.

Abe demands answers from Eric. Eric sees that he’s upset. Abe complains that he’s more than upset because Sloan has been terrorizing Paulina and Chanel. Eric argues that terrorizing is a very strong word. Abe shouts that Paulina went to the hospital today because she thought she was having a heart attack, but it turned out to be a panic attack. Eric says he’s really sorry that happened but Sloan says that she wasn’t anywhere near Paulina’s office today. Abe mocks the idea of Sloan being a woman of her word. Abe mentions somebody leaving a note for Paulina right after the police left, that said “This Isn’t Over Bitch” and the letters were cut out of a magazine. Eric states that Sloan says she didn’t do that either. Abe asks what the hell else she’s going to say and questions if Eric honestly believes her. Eric doesn’t answer, so Abe guesses he has doubts of his own. Abe brings up Eric’s parents being two of his closest friends and says he’s known Eric since he was born. Abe questions if Eric is going to stay neutral when this woman is coming after his loved ones.

Paulina questions Sloan getting a restraining order against her. Sloan states that she’ll have it by tomorrow morning. Paulina argues that Sloan admitted to coming to town to go after her and her loved ones. Sloan points out that nobody else heard her say that and Paulina hears what she wants to hear. Sloan claims she came to Salem to open a law practice and it was only a coincidence that Paulina and Chanel happened to be there too. Paulina says she took that coincidence and ran with it. Sloan brings up how Paulina tried to tear down the town square and says Paulina is a liar who covered up Chanel’s involvement with her mother. Paulina says that was no lie and that Sloan was no better than her mother, who brought Chanel to that roof to kill her. Sloan remarks that Chanel did the killing and it seems to her that it runs in the family. Sloan mentions hearing that Paulina’s other daughter, Lani, is in prison for shooting her own father to death. Paulina warns Sloan to keep her daughter’s name out of her mouth. Sloan calls that another threat to add to her complaint. Paulina starts having another panic attack and complains that she can’t catch her breath.

Li and Johnny toast to their truce. Li remarks that he wishes Wendy could see him having a civilized drink with her new boyfriend. Johnny clarifies that he’s not her boyfriend yet as they are taking it one day at a time. Li asks if he’s alright with that. Johnny admits he wishes things were moving a little faster. Johnny mentions that he’s bringing her here for dinner tomorrow night which is why he came to make the reservation. Li asks if Johnny is serious about Wendy. Johnny confirms that he is. Li reminds Johnny that Wendy is not as experienced as he is. Johnny argues that Li knows nothing about him. Li states that Gabi does and she filled him in. Johnny guesses he earned that reputation but says it’s different with Wendy as he hasn’t felt this way about anyone since his divorce. Li wishes them nothing but the best. Johnny thanks him and says he should get going to tell Wendy about their big night. Johnny tells Li that he will see him around and exits. Li remarks to himself that he hopes Johnny has better luck finding his woman than he did with his.

Stefan and Gabi finish having sex. Stefan can’t believe how much he missed doing this with her and questions how he’s going to stay away from her for another 4 months. Gabi says he’ll just have to think about the stock shares which Stefan says is the last thing he wants to think about. Gabi points out that they have some extra time, so they’ll make it worth their while as they begin kissing again. EJ then comes to get the champagne but finds the door cracked open. EJ slowly pushes it open further and finds Stefan and Gabi kissing in bed. EJ then pulls his phone out to record them.

Paulina’s panic attack continues as Sloan questions what kind of stunt she’s trying to pull. Paulina sits down and tries to breathe while Sloan asks what kind of attention she thinks she’s going to get. Paulina insists it’s not a performance. Sloan remarks that if this is a panic attack, she’s getting off easy because if there’s any justice in the world, she and Chanel will never know another moment of peace. Sloan then turns and walks away.

Eric tells Abe that he thinks of him as part of his family and he’s a constant in his life, but Chanel and Paulina are not and they hardly know one another. Abe asks what the hell he’s talking about, pointing out that Eric was at their wedding and Chanel just ended a relationship with Eric’s niece. Abe brings up Paulina’s sister being Eric’s mother’s roommate in college. Abe then questions what Marlena thinks about this relationship. Eric responds that he and Marlena have a lot to say to each other, but the last thing he will discuss with her is his love life. Abe says when John told him that Marlena was alive, it was like a miracle had happened. Eric talks about thinking he lost his mom and going to a very dark place where he wanted to kill Orpheus and Kristen with his bare hands. Eric thinks that’s why he empathizes with Sloan, because her loss was greater than his. Abe argues that Sloan’s mother tricked Chanel in to meeting her on that rooftop and attacking Chanel for her affair. Eric points out that’s what Chanel says. Abe insists it’s what happened and that Chanel had nothing to do with the death of Sloan’s father. Abe adds that Paulina did exactly what he would’ve done in protecting her child. Abe knows Eric has been through some horrible times and something like that changes a man, but the Eric Brady that he watched grow up was always a good judge of character and he would never be taken in by a woman like Sloan Peterson.

Tripp asks Wendy if they are on for tomorrow night or not. Johnny then arrives and tells Wendy that he knows it’s kind of late but he wanted to let her know that he made plans for them for tomorrow night. Johnny informs her that he booked the Bistro’s best table and told them he wants it to be a very special night for someone who is very important to him.

EJ returns to the living room, excited to tell Nicole about what he saw but she’s gone. Nicole then returns to the room in a sparkling red dress and says she thought she would slip in to something a little more comfortable. Nicole asks about the vintage champagne. EJ says he couldn’t locate it. Nicole says that’s okay as she doesn’t need any more alcohol and she just needs him. They kiss until Nicole suggests they go upstairs so he can take care of her needs. EJ tells her to go ahead and he’ll be right behind her. Nicole says he better be as she heads upstairs. EJ then pulls out his phone and sends a text to Li before heading upstairs.

Li walks through the town square and gets EJ’s text. Li wonders what the hell he wants now as he opens the text and is shocked to see a photo of Stefan and Gabi in bed together.

Stefan and Gabi lay in bed together, wishing they could stay like this forever. Gabi figures Li is already suspicious so she has to go. Stefan hates playing this game. Gabi says she does too but in 4 months, they will be together and running DiMera Enterprises as they were meant to.

Sloan returns home and tells Eric that she’s all his. Eric informs her that she just missed Abe. Sloan questions him showing up unannounced and remarks that she’ll have to get a restraining order against him too. Eric states that Abe is worried about his wife and stepdaughter. Sloan argues that she’s the innocent party here, so if anyone is being harassed, it’s her. Sloan pulls out her phone so Eric questions who she is texting. Sloan says she is just following up with a clerk who works for the judge, to make sure that her restraining order gets processed right away. Sloan declares that it’s time someone taught Paulina a lesson…

Abe waits at home until Paulina arrives. Abe thought she was coming straight here, so he was afraid something had happened to her as he hugs her. Paulina informs him that she had another run-in with Sloan. Abe says he went to her apartment to look for her and questions what happened. Paulina complains that Sloan went off on her and is getting a restraining order against her. Abe suggests that maybe Eric can talk some sense in to Sloan as he thinks he might have gotten through to him. Abe notes that Eric didn’t say anything about it but he thinks Eric might be having some doubts. Paulina suggests Eric should start thinking with his head. Abe thinks people are starting to catch on to Sloan. Abe hopes that before long, she will overplay her hand and they will nail her. Paulina says she needs to sit down but she is then shocked by an anonymous text message that says “Your husband can’t save you.”

Johnny tells Wendy about their dinner reservation while Tripp watches on. Johnny asks if something is wrong. Wendy says she just wishes that he checked with her before making the reservation. Johnny questions if she’s busy tomorrow night. Wendy reveals that she is going out with Tripp.

Days of Our Lives Update

Stefan has a drink in the living room of the DiMera Mansion. Nicole walks in and says she hasn’t seen him all day and asks how last night went at the Salem Inn. Stefan responds that it went great until Li walked in while Nicole pretends to be surprised.

EJ meets Li in the park. EJ asks Li what happened when he caught Gabi and Stefan in bed together and if he kicked Gabi to the curb to take back his DiMera shares. Li responds that he didn’t so EJ asks why not. EJ argues that Gabi broke the terms of their agreement and slept with Stefan. Li then reveals that Gabi didn’t sleep with Stefan.

Wendy comes home and greets Gabi, who says she completely lost track of time. Wendy asks if she’s okay. Gabi says she’s fine and is just working on her new line. Wendy asks if Gabi has talked to anyone. Gabi questions why she’s asking her questions. Wendy guesses she doesn’t know and says it’s about Stefan. Gabi asks if something is wrong. Wendy says kind of and informs Gabi that Stefan is sleeping with the district attorney.

Melinda goes to Rafe’s office and reminds him that she told him if he didn’t hand her an airtight case against Sloan, her office would have to drop the whole thing. Melinda says either Rafe is still lining up evidence or he has no idea who broke in to Paulina’s office. Melinda asks which one it is.

Abe walks through the town square and calls Paulina, asking where she is. Paulina claims that she’s still at the office, cleaning up the mess that Sloan made and she’s going to be stuck there for awhile. Paulina apologizes to Abe, while she’s actually at the hospital for her appointment and Tripp enters her hospital room.

Rafe informs Melinda that they had to cut Sloan loose after she denied everything. Melinda asks if he thought she would break down and admit everything, noting that he doesn’t have a shred of evidence. Rafe insists that if there’s evidence out there, they will find it. Melinda warns Rafe that if Sloan sues them for harassment, this one’s on him as she then leaves his office.

Gabi asks where Wendy heard that Stefan is sleeping with Melinda. Wendy says she’s sorry but she saw it in Leo’s column in the Spectator. Gabi laughs off the idea. Wendy thought she would be more upset and questions how she can be so sure that it’s not true.

Nicole asks Stefan about Li walking in on him. Stefan says he was worried about it happening ever since she left him at the Inn, but EJ assured him that Li would be kept off the scent. Nicole claims this is awful and asks how Li found out. Nicole says that EJ will be furious and asks how ugly it got. Nicole adds that Gabi must be a wreck if she’s not getting Li’s DiMera shares. Stefan clarifies that their deal is still on and Gabi is still getting the shares. Nicole questions that happening even after Li found them in bed. Stefan then reveals to her that Li found him in bed, but with somebody else.

EJ tells Li that he doesn’t understand. Li explains that he followed the plan, burst in, and caught Stefan in bed but Gabi wasn’t there. Li then reveals that Stefan was in bed with Melinda Trask which shocks EJ. EJ argues that this doesn’t make sense since Nicole left the room and Stefan was with Gabi. Li tells EJ that somebody pulled a fast one on him. EJ realizes it was Stefan.

Nicole tells Stefan to start over and questions Li finding him in bed with someone other than Gabi and asks who it was. Melinda then arrives and kisses Stefan, leaving Nicole confused.

Gabi questions Wendy thinking that Stefan turned to Melinda after he couldn’t be with her. Wendy points out that Stefan can’t be with Gabi and admits that Melinda is beautiful. Gabi argues that Leo lies for a living while Stefan is a DiMera and they pay off district attorneys rather than sleeping with them. Gabi wants to change the subject and asks about Wendy’s love life. Wendy responds that she doesn’t think she and Johnny have much of a love life, more of a hang out and watch movies life. Gabi then informs her that she wasn’t talking about Johnny, but about Tripp.

Abe tells Paulina that he’s in the town square now and he’s happy to wait for her. Paulina says she doesn’t know how long she’ll be and claims that security is there to check the cameras so she has to go. They say I love you and hang up. Paulina tries to explain to Tripp that she was lying to Abe because she doesn’t want him to worry about her as it’s not good for him. Tripp tells her that she doesn’t have to explain anything to him. Tripp asks Paulina why she is here because her doctor got called in to surgery. Tripp looks over the notes and asks if she was experiencing heart palpitations. Paulina explains that she thought she was having a heart attack but Chanel’s new hire said it was a panic attack. Tripp remarks that she’s glad that she came in to see a doctor rather than someone who bakes cakes for a living. Paulina then informs him that Talia is a great baker but also a full-fledged doctor.

Abe runs in to Jade in the town square and says he’s been hearing really good things about her work. Jada says she loves her job and calls Rafe a great boss. Abe tells her to have a nice night as he walks away. Talia then comes out from the bakery and talks about her day at work. Jada comments on a doctor talking about working at a bakery. Talia says once a doctor always a doctor and tells Jada that she can ask Paulina, because just today she performed a medical miracle. Talia explains that Paulina was convinced she was having a heart attack, but she diagnosed it as a panic attack. Jada downplays it so Talia complains that she’s always put down her achievements. Jada jokes that she’s always spoke highly of her cupcakes which Talia calls works of art. Jada mentions that she can see Paulina having a panic attack since Sloan is dedicated to ruining her life. Talia asks about the investigation. Jada says it’s ongoing, so first thing in the morning, they will go through everything they have and find something to put Sloan in a cell where they belong. Talia asks Jada what she’s doing tonight. Jada says she’s getting takeout and watching TV. Talia questions when Jada last went on a date and encourages her to get back out there. Talia asks Jada about the hunky cop that she always sees her with. Jada responds that Shawn is her partner and married, but Talia clarifies that she’s talking about Rafe.

Abe goes to Rafe’s office and asks if there’s anything new about the break-in to Paulina’s office. Rafe says they didn’t have enough evidence to hold Sloan but he and Jada will start over tomorrow. Abe mentions just running in to Jada and asks how she’s doing here. Rafe says she’s great and getting better every day. Abe asks if Rafe likes her then. Rafe asks if he didn’t make that clear. Abe clarifies that he didn’t mean professionally and questions if there’s nothing going on between them. Rafe asks where this is coming from and assures that he knows the rules and how that would violate his new policy of superiors and subordinates getting involved which Abe confirms. Abe doesn’t mean to drag this out but points out that Rafe hasn’t denied it. Abe then asks Rafe if he is or isn’t romantically interested in one of his detectives.

EJ tells Li that Stefan must have figured it out, went along with the setup, but at the last minute got Melinda to play his love interest. Li questions how Stefan pulled off this plan while EJ wonders how Stefan got Melinda to agree to it. Li complains that he looked like a fool and now Stefan and Gabi know that he’s on to them. EJ asks if Gabi said that. Li says that Gabi is sticking to the script. Li blames EJ for Stefan and Gabi now having the upper hand. EJ doubts how long they can keep up the charade.

Stefan and Melinda continue kissing as Nicole pours a drink and asks when they first connected. Stefan claims it’s been building for quite some time and notes that Nicole doesn’t seem very happy for them.

Paulina asks Tripp if Talia was right that it was just a panic attack. Tripp says it looks that way but notes that Dr. Greenberg will still want to make his own judgment. Paulina brings up Tripp sleeping in her daughter’s bed. Tripp confirms that he got Chanel’s old room at the apartment. Paulina asks if he wishes Chanel was still there. Tripp responds that he doesn’t think she does since there’s a lot of bad memories for her there. Paulina agrees and suggests maybe Tripp could do something else for her after this. Paulina knows Tripp knows that Allie broke Chanel’s heart and now she’s worried about her health. Tripp asks if she wants him to call Chanel to tell her the medical report is fine. Paulina then reveals that she wants Tripp to call Chanel and ask her out on a date. Paulina reminds Tripp that they had real sparks. Tripp also remembers Paulina stopping the whole thing. Paulina asks if Tripp is still attracted to Chanel and questions if he’s keeping his distance from her because of Allie. Tripp says that’s part of it and admits he likes Chanel as a friend. Paulina encourages that maybe they could lead to something more than friendship, unless there is someone else. Tripp says he’ll just get her test results. Tripp acknowledges that he heard her question but chose not to answer. Paulina warns that she will hound him until he tells her. Tripp then admits that it’s his roommate Wendy, but she’s seeing Johnny DiMera. Paulina questions if he’s just going to give up and let him have her. Paulina urges Tripp to fight for her. Tripp says that she seems to really like Johnny, but Paulina suggests maybe she likes Tripp more and that it could be fate. Paulina encourages Tripp to tell Wendy how he feels or he may end up regretting that he didn’t for a very long time.

Gabi asks Wendy what the story is with Tripp. Wendy responds that he’s just sharing the rent on the apartment. Gabi says that may be how the chapter started but she saw them in Hong Kong and argues that Tripp never got over her. Wendy blames Gabi’s imagination but Gabi argues that Tripp is a doctor and doesn’t need to live here but he wanted to live with her. Gabi talks about seeing how they are and that Wendy loves living with him. Wendy says they are friends. Gabi brings up how Tripp looks at her and doesn’t think just friends is his choice. Wendy admits she may have flirted with Tripp and Joey in Hong Kong because she liked the attention. Wendy adds that maybe she and Tripp still do it but claims it’s not real and just a game. Gabi says not from where she’s sitting.

Rafe tells Abe that he is not seeing Jada and asks if that’s clear enough. Abe says he’s sorry to push him but it is his job. Rafe says he understands but there is something about the new policy that does bother him and brings up how he was involved with Hope when they were both on the force but no one in the department ever said a word. Abe explains that they were equals and that’s the difference. Abe adds that he would change the rule for him, especially with how things turned out with Nicole, but his hands are tied. Abe tells Rafe to take care and exits.

Jada tells Talia that with the new ruling, she and Rafe could both lose their jobs if they even went to the movies together. Talia calls it interesting that she asked her about a guy and she pulls out the department rulebook, but never said she wasn’t interested in him. Jada questions why they are still talking about this. Talia feels she’s been defensive ever since she brought him up. Jada brings up how her and Rafe’s last relationships ended and says neither one of them are ready to jump in to that anytime soon anyway. Talia asks if she’s sure he feels that way. Jada calls it a bad idea and says when she was with Eric, she was practically stalked by his jealous ex-wife. Jada adds that Rafe divorced his ex because she was screwing her ex-husband. Jada points out that those exes were Nicole and Eric. Jada adds that she doesn’t think her and Rafe having a mutual hatred of Nicole is a good basis for a relationship. Jada asks Talia if they can just drop this and go get some damn dinner as she storms off and Talia then follows her.

Nicole questions Stefan and Melinda about this building up for awhile when Stefan was just saying that Gabi was the only woman for him a few days ago. Stefan admits he did say those things about Gabi and claims that shortly after Nicole left, Gabi got cold feet about getting caught so she must value the DiMera shares more than him. Nicole questions Stefan realizing that he’d be happier with an old fashioned girl like Melinda. Melinda tells Stefan that she had a dream about him last night and whispers it to him which makes him laugh. Stefan tells Nicole that he promised to show Melinda his stamp collection in his room, so he takes her upstairs, leaving Nicole confused.

Li complains to EJ that Gabi lied to him and he couldn’t contradict her without telling her that EJ helped him. Li argues that Stefan played EJ and now he’s playing him, so EJ made him look like an idiot and he doesn’t like it one damn bit. EJ encourages Li to take a breath. EJ insists that Stefan and Gabi will find a way to hook up and they will catch them, they just need to be clever with it. Li tells EJ to go to Hell and questions why he ever partnered with him when he doesn’t want to humiliate Gabi and torpedo the deal. EJ tells Li that he has no chance in hell of getting Gabi back, reminding him of when Gabi found out that Li didn’t tell her that Stefan was alive and tried to brainwash him in to hating her as well as trying to kill him. EJ doesn’t think couples therapy is going to help and his DiMera shares are the only thing he could possibly salvage from their trainwreck marriage. Li argues that he doesn’t give a damn about the shares but it’s all EJ cares about. Li tells EJ to stay the hell away from his marriage and swears that EJ will regret it if he makes one move. Li then storms off.

Jada and Talia have dinner at the Brady Pub. Jada jokes that now she has a chance to trample over Talia’s personal boundaries and ask about her personal life. Talia says it doesn’t look like she’ll have the time as Rafe enters the Pub. Talia then calls Rafe over while Jada tells her not to do this. Talia invites Rafe to join them. Rafe says he was just picking up a to-go order. Jada adds that Rafe probably has plans. Talia argues that he has to eat dinner somewhere so she suggests he eat with them. Talia adds that Jada was just telling her about the fraternization rules, but there are three of them here and nothing could possibly happen with her sister watching. Rafe thanks Talia for the invite and goes to get his food. Jada remarks that she’s going to kill Talia for this.

Paulina hopes Tripp will think about what she said. Tripp doesn’t think she heard a word that he said. Paulina tells Tripp that he’s wrong and making a huge mistake. Paulina recalls when she met Chanel’s father and he was dating someone else, so she almost walked away but then she decided to make her move and she made him very happy while they were together. Paulina adds that Chanel is here now because she knew what was best for everyone. Paulina warns Tripp about ignoring her advice. Tripp asks Paulina if she ever takes advice from someone who cares about her and has experience in the matter. Paulina guesses she walked in to that. Tripp advises her to tell Abe what’s going on because he loves her and knows her so he’ll know she’s keeping something from him and will probably imagine something much worse. Tripp adds that if it’s anxiety related, then keeping a secret is very stressful. Tripp asks how Paulina would feel if Abe was keeping something like this from her. Paulina jokes about it being infuritating to get a lecture from him because he’s right. Tripp tells her that she’s free to get dressed and go. Paulina calls him a good doctor and a good friend as Tripp then exits the room.

Wendy still doesn’t understand why Gabi is so interested in her and Tripp, unless this was a diversion to stop talking about Stefan. Gabi says there is nothing to say about Stefan. Li then comes home. Li greets them and calls them one big happy family. Gabi gets a text and says she has to go talk about her launch. Li questions it being at this hour and offers to go with her. Gabi says she’ll handle it. Li reminds her that he set up the deal. Gabi says she appreciates it but sometimes one on one is better. Gabi then exits. Wendy asks Li what he feels like ordering for dinner. Li claims he just remembered there’s something he has to do and quickly exits.

EJ goes home where Nicole tells him that he won’t believe what she has to tell him. EJ reveals he already knows about Li catching Stefan in bed with Melinda. EJ doesn’t know how Stefan convinced Melidna to play along. Nicole asks if he’s sure they are pretending which EJ questions. Nicole tells him there’s more and informs him that Melinda stopped by and they sat on the couch like horny teenagers then pretended to get carried away and went upstairs where they are continuing to pretend.

In Stefan’s room, Melinda tells him that was fun but asks why they had to do an encore performance for Nicole when EJ is going to tell her about last night. Stefan admits it was a bit of a prologue but tells Melinda how much it meant to him and that he will never forget what she’s done. Melinda tells him to cut to the chase and asks what he wants now. Stefan reveals that he didn’t ask her here to stick it to Nicole, but because he actualy needs her to be his decoy.

Talia points out that Rafe and Jada ordered the same thing and says great minds think alike. Jada jokes that they both just like hamburgers and water. Talia claims she just remembered that she has to call an old colleague to catch up so she’s taking her food with her. Talia tells them to enjoy their burgers and leaves them alone.

Tripp comes home and tells Wendy that he had to cover for Dr. Greenberg. Wendy tells him there is some leftovers in the fridge as Tripp asks if she’s leaving. Wendy mentions that Johnny said something about hanging out with friends in the town square. Tripp asks if it’s a date but Wendy says she just thought she could catch up with him and hang out. Tripp tells her to have fun. Wendy goes to leave but Tripp stops her and says if he doesn’t say this now, he might never. Tripp then informs Wendy that he has feelings for her.

Paulina joins Abe in the town square. Abe hugs her and says he stopped by the office earlier but must have just missed her. Paulina then admits she wasn’t there and she lied to him earlier because she was in the hospital.

EJ and Nicole listen in at Stefan’s bedroom door from the hallway and hear Melinda inside, moaning and exclaiming Stefan’s name, while she’s really just sitting on the bed with a deck of cards.

Stefan sneaks in to the living room and in to the secret tunnels.

Li goes to the Bistro and looks around confused.

Stefan sets up a candle lit dinner and a bed of rose petals in the DiMera wine cellar in the tunnels. Gabi arrives and they immediately begin kissing.

Days of Our Lives Update

Brady and Rachel are at the Brady Pub. Rachel talks about what dessert she wants while Brady brings up how Rachel stole his phone and called an uber to see Kristen in prison, noting that she scared him half to death. Rachel suggests celebrating that she is okay. Brady tells her that he actually has some really great news to share with her. Brady reminds her of when he told her that Marlena went to Heaven. Brady reveals that it tusn out that she didn’t.

Eric informs Sloan that his mother is alive. Sloan doesn’t believe him and asks if he’s been drinking but Eric assures he’s sober and saw Marlena with his own eyes. Sloan is shocked and asks how this is even possible. Eric admits he’s not sure and the details are fuzzy. Eric says he’s blown away. Sloan asks if Marlena is okay and not hurt. Eric confirms she is and just needs to rest after being through a lot.

John checks on Marlena as she reads her book while taking a bubble bath and then they kiss.

Leo goes to he and Gwen’s room at the Salem Inn and walks in on Gwen in bed with Alex. Gwen questions him not knocking while Leo argues that she could’ve put the do not disturb sign on the door. Gwen thought he was working. Leo says he was which is why he needs to talk to her now, because it’s about Xander.

Chanel is in the town square, making a doctor’s appointment on the phone. Xander walks by and overhears her, so he asks if everything is alright. Chanel explains that the appointment is not for her, but for her mother who thought she was having a heart attack yesterday. Xander says he hopes Paulina is alright. Chanel says she is and it turned out to just be a panic attack, but she’s afraid about Paulina not getting her stress levels down. Xander asks why her stress levels are up. Chanel informs him that it’s because of Sloan’s vendetta against them and says that Sloan has worked Paulina up in to a frenzy.

Paulina goes to Sloan’s apartment and knocks on the door, yelling for her to open up the damn door. Sloan answers and asks what the hell she wants. Paulina shows her the note found in her office with pasted letters that reads “This Isn’t Over Bitch”

Xander asks Chanel why Sloan hasn’t been arrested if she ransacked Paulina’s office. Chanel explains that they brought her for questioning but she denied it and there’s no evidence. Xander asks why Chanel is so sure that Sloan did it. Chanel brings up that it happened right after their lawyer got Sloan’s civil case dismissed and then Sloan swore revenge on them. Chanel adds that the police warned Sloan that they would be keeping an eye on her. Xander encourages that maybe she’ll back off and it will finally be over. Chanel says she hopes so.

Paulina tells Sloan that she is done with making threats. Sloan mocks Paulina as if she was delivering the note to her. Paulina argues that Sloan left the note for her, not the other way around. Paulina warns that if Sloan doesn’t drop her vicious vendetta against her and Chanel, she will ruin her.

Rachel questions what Brady means by saying Marlena didn’t go to Heaven. Brady informs her that Marlena is alive and it turns out that she never really died. Chloe walks in and asks if she heard that right that Marlena is alive.

Marlena and John kiss until he falls in to the bathtub with her with his clothes on and they laugh.

Paulina continues to accuse Sloan of trashing her office and leaving her the note. Eric asks what makes her so sure it was Sloan. Paulina calls it obvious. Sloan points out that she has no evidence and denies doing either thing. Eric informs Paulina that he believes Sloan. Paulina calls him a bigger fool than she thought then. Paulina remarks that Eric’s mother would be rolling over in her grave if she heard him defending Sloan. Eric responds that she actually wouldn’t be rolling over in her grave. Paulina argues that she’s known Marlena longer. Eric then clarifies that Marlena is alive.

Marlena and John continue kissing in the bathtub.

Xander tells Chanel that Paulina should be glad that she has her looking out for her. Chanel thanks him for saying that. Xander brings up that Paulina was his mother in law once for about 24 hours. Chanel doesn’t recall there being any love lost between them. Xander admits it wasn’t his finest hour and apologizes for whatever he put her through. Chanel calls it no big deal and acknowledges that he was still in love with Sarah. Chanel tells Xander that she’s sorry that didn’t work out. Xander tells her the same about her and Johnny, then more recently her and Allie. Xander says he was rooting for them and calls them Salem’s favorite bisexuals which makes Chanel laugh. Xander comments that they seemed very happy and in love, so he was surprised when Allie left town so quickly. Chanel reveals that was right after Allie slept with Alex Kiriakis, which shocks Xander.

Gwen and Alex get out of bed and get dressed. Gwen apologizes to Alex and hopes he’s not upset. Alex says he has to get to work anyway. Leo tells Alex not to leave on his account but Alex says that’s exactly what he’s doing. Leo takes a photo of Alex, so he warns him to keep it out of his gossip column. Leo says he will keep it in his private collection while Gwen adds that she’ll make sure the photo never sees the light of day. Gwen says she’ll see Alex later as he kisses her goodbye and then exits. Leo excitedly asks Gwen if she and Alex are back in the saddle. Gwen asks what Leo had to tell her about Xander. Leo sits with her and says it’s harsh news so he won’t enjoy this. Leo then informs Gwen that he thinks Xander is hooking up with Chloe.

Chloe excitedly hugs Brady and says Marlena being alive is the most exciting news. Brady says he was just telling Rachel how much they have to celebrate. Chloe says he must be so relieved along with John, Eric, and Belle. Chloe hugs Brady again and says she’s so happy for him and his family. Brady agrees with celebrating and has Chloe join their table but Rachel says over her dead body.

Gwen questions Leo about Xander and Chloe. Leo says he saw them outside the Pub together earlier which Gwen mocks. Leo admits he didn’t catch them in bed together but says it looked pretty intimate to him. Leo then reveals the photo he took of Xander and Chloe hugging.

Brady tells Rachel that she will have to share but Chloe says it’s fine. Chloe suggests they each get their own ice cream sundae. Brady says that sounds perfect but Rachel says it doesn’t to her. Rachel declares that she doesn’t mind sharing with Brady, but it’s Chloe that she doesn’t want to share with.

Xander questions Chanel about Alex being the reason she and Allie broke up. Chanel admits she forgot Alex was Xander’s cousin and apologizes. Xander says he should be apologizing and calls Alex a narcissistic man whore who can’t keep his hands off other people’s people. Xander continues to complain about Alex. Chanel says she had no idea he hated Alex so much. Xander asks what’s not to hate and remarks that Alex has only been back in town for a couple months and his conquests already outnumber his. Chanel guesses that’s not counting her. Xander asks if she’s serious. Chanel admits she was curious and that Alex definitely lives up to the hype. Xander says she’s not helping, so she apologizes. Chanel asks why Xander is taking this personal. Xander responds that it his personal because Alex’s latest conquest is Gwen. Xander complains that Alex moved in on Gwen when she was at her most vulnerable and he just loves rubbing it in his face at every opportunity. Alex then walks by and says another opportunity has presented itself. Xander stands up and warns Alex to be careful unless he wants a matching black eye.

John and Marlena lay in bed together. Marlena is on the phone with her daughter Carrie and says it’s so good to talk to her. Marlena tells her to tell Austin how sorry they are about Kate and that she’ll call him in a few days. Marlena says she loves her and hangs up. Marlena tells John how good it was to hear Carrie’s voice. John knows she’s thinking about Kate now. Marlena says Kayla too and she hopes this business with Thomas Banks pans out. John says to let him worry about that as he has no idea that Hope and Steve will find Kayla. Marlena says it’s so good to be home, almost like this whole thing never happened as it’s so hard to believe all of it. Marlena just wishes that Belle and Eric could sort out their issues. John acknowledges that they are still at each other’s throats. Marlena says they were getting along so well. John feels Eric’s just been in a bad way since thinking they lost Marlena along with ending things with Nicole. John hopes now that Marlena is back, things will turn around for Eric. Marlena hopes so too but wonders what caused this whole thing and if it’s about when Eric took a swing at Shawn. John explains that it was about the situation between Sloan and Paulina. John talks about Belle getting Sloan’s civil suit thrown out which Marlena argues is Belle’s job. John points out that Eric didn’t see it that way since he’s still in a relationship with Sloan. Marlena questions that still going on. John confirms that’s why Eric and Belle are on opposite sides, but now that the lawsuit is dead, he hopes they can move on.

Paulina is shocked to learn that Marlena is still alive and argues that maybe now Marlena can talk some sense in to Eric to get him away from Sloan. Sloan tells Paulina to get the hell out of her home. Paulina warns that she’s not done with her by a longshot and quotes the note in saying “This isn’t over, bitch”. Paulina then exits the apartment.

Alex tells Xander that what happens between he and Gwen is none of his business. Xander responds that he’s making it his business because he knows Alex is just going to hurt her, while he actually cares about her. Alex asks if that’s why he called Gwen his sloppy seconds. Xander calls Alex a serial bed hopper and argues that he’s not good enough for Gwen by a long shot, so he’s not going to just stand by and watch him take advantage of her. Alex brings up that he just left Gwen’s bed after making love to her for the third time today. Chanel intervenes and tells them to just stop it. Alex thanks her for being the voice of reason. Chanel says she doesn’t want to get caught in the middle of a fight in the town square but assures Alex that she is not on his side. Alex thought they were friends. Chanel questions if friends sleep with each other’s girlfriends behind their backs. Alex tells Chanel that he’s sincerely sorry for everything that happened with Allie and says she deserves better. Alex promises to do everything he can to repair their friendship but says this thing with Gwen is entirely different because he’s not breaking up any happy homes and she and Xander are not together. Alex argues that Xander doesn’t even want Gwen and just doesn’t want anyone else to have her. Xander says he just doesn’t want Alex to have her. Alex brings up that Xander already broke Gwen’s heart once and says that if he really cares about her, he needs to get out of her life and let her be happy with somebody else.

Gwen tells Leo that Chloe was probably just grateful that Xander pulled his hateful article about her. Leo knows she wants to believe that but he doesn’t think it looks like a platonic hug. Leo implies that Chloe and Xander will sleep together and that’s why Xander pulled his article. Leo tells Gwen to face the facts so she can heal and move on. Leo declares that Chloe will be Xander’s next conquest. Gwen argues that he is wrong because Chloe is not Xander’s type and Chloe only has eyes for Brady. Leo insists that Chloe and Brady won’t work out because Chloe called Brady’s daughter a monster. Leo states that Brady might not know she said it yet, but once you hate the offspring and the offspring hate you, the relationship is doomed.

Brady tells Rachel that’s enough and reminds her about Kristen’s letter, telling her to be nice to Chloe and to give her a chance. Rachel argues that Kristen only wrote that letter because Brady made her. Brady questions Kristen telling her that. Rachel responds that she didn’t, but he just did. Chloe tells Rachel that she understands why she wants her parents to live together. Chloe says that was all she wanted when she was Rachel’s age. Chloe encourages that her parents do love her as well as her grandparents, uncles, cousins, and her too. Rachel asks if Chloe is crossing her fingers behind her back. Chloe shows that she’s definitely not. Chloe reminds Rachel that they used to be really close at one point and she wants that for them again. Chloe reveals that she got her a peace offering of stickers. Rachel responds that she grew out of stickers and tosses them aside. Rachel screams that she doesn’t take bribes and accuses Chloe of lying about loving her. Rachel shouts that Chloe hates her as much as she hates Chloe. Chloe then angrily gives in and admits that she does hate her.

Gwen doesn’t think it’s true that a relationship can’t work out because of the offspring. Gwen relates to hating her mother’s boyfriends. Gwen decides she’s going to get something to eat and then go to the office. Leo says he will stay here and work on his story about Xander and Chloe’s grand romance. Gwen tells him not to waste his time because she’s not printing that story. Leo argues that it just means that Gwen’s plan is working as Xander is so jealous of her and Alex, that he’s throwing himself at Chloe to make her jealous. Gwen says she’s being a good friend to him because if she prints that, Xander will fire him. Leo argues that Xander made a unilateral decision to not print his last article, so she can make a unilateral decision to print this one since it is her family paper after all. Gwen questions why he’s so determined to run this. Leo complains that he has nothing else and his deadline is in two hours. Gwen feels he’s reaching for a story that isn’t there and she doesn’t want Chloe to sue her. Gwen tells Leo to just think of something else to write. Gwen remarks that in Salem, people come back from the dead and get possessed by the Devil, so she’s sure he’ll think of something. Gwen then exits the room.

Chloe apologizes to Rachel and says she never meant to say that. Rachel says it’s too late, she already did. Brady tells Rachel they are going home. Rachel wants to see Marlena anyway. Chloe tries to apologize to Brady. Brady says it’s okay and they’ll talk about it later as he takes Rachel and leaves the Pub.

Sloan complains to Eric about Paulina harassing her in her own home. Sloan says she should call the cops on her but it wouldn’t do any good since Rafe and Jada have made it pretty clear they are on team Paulina. Sloan repeats to Eric that she did not send the letter to Paulina. Eric points out that he just defended her. Sloan feels that he’s still wondering if she did it but Eric says that her saying she didn’t do it is enough for him. Eric then points out that Sloan did say she wants to take out revenge against Chanel and Paulina. Sloan assures that she does, but it won’t be some anonymous letter with cutout letters from a magazine. Sloan declares that when she comes for them, they will damn well know it’s her.

Chanel tells Xander and Alex to break it up. Chanel can’t believe she’s saying this but they don’t get to decide who Gwen wants to be with as that is up to her. Paulina approaches and questions what is going on here. Alex says he was just leaving and walks away. Xander says the same and tells Paulina to take care as he walks off. Paulina questions what that was all about. Chanel calls it just men being men and reminding her how lucky she is that she has other options. Chanel asks how Paulina is feeling. Paulina admits she had a little trouble sleeping after what she found in her office and shows Chanel the note with pasted on letters. Chanel guesses it was Sloan. Paulina calls her pathetic and predictable. Paulina mentions that she just came back from confronting Sloan, who denied it. Chanel worries that she shouldn’t be confronting anybody until she has a clean bill of health. Chanel informs Paulina that she just scheduled her a doctor’s appointment at 3:30 because it’s important. Paulina argues that she can’t let the note go unanswered and insists she’s fine, feeling healthy and strong. Chanel encourages that the appointment will be quick and easy then or else she’ll have her own panic attacks from worrying about her. Paulina reluctantly agrees to go then and walks away. Chanel keeps hold of the note and walks off.

John and Marlena have strawberries and cream in bed until John accidentally spills the bowl of whipped cream. Marlena says she had enough anyway but not enough of him as they kiss.

Brady brings Rachel home. Rachel says she wants to see Marlena. Brady says she will see her later but for now, she’s going to her room. Rachel questions Brady punishing her when Chloe is the one who said she hates her. Brady assures that Chloe didn’t mean it but Rachel says she did and asks why he’s not mad at her.

Xander goes to the Brady Pub and finds Chloe drinking at the bar. Xander asks if she’s alright as she looks like she lost her best friend. Chloe responds that she just did. Xander thought things were looking up for her and Brady since he killed Leo’s story. Chloe informs him that Brady didn’t need to read about her badmouthing his daughter because she told Rachel that she hated her right in front of him. Xander says he’s so sorry. Chloe complains that Rachel was being so awful to her but she can’t believe those words just flew out of her mouth and now there’s nothing she can do to take them back. Alex relates to having a terrible day as well since his cousin is still screwing his ex and taking every chance to rub his face in it. Chloe says it sounds like he could use a drink too and invites him to sit with her. Xander asks if she’s sure as he doesn’t want to impose but Chloe says she could use the company. Xander knows she’s loved Brady since she was a teenager so she can’t let this terror come between them. Chloe cries that she doesn’t know how Brady could forgive her after what she said. Chloe thinks it might be over and questions how it could not be. Xander hugs Chloe and tells her it’s going to be okay as she cries. Gwen then enters the Pub and sees them hugging.

Leo wonders what the hell to put in his column. Chanel then shows up at the door. Leo hopes she brought him some treats from the bakery. Chanel responds that she has a scoop for him and hands him the note.

Eric asks if Sloan has any idea who is targeting Paulina if not her. Sloan responds that a woman like Paulina makes enemies for breakfast and if the police would just do their job. Sloan then picks up her laptop and declares she should just file a restraining order herself. Eric notices that when Sloan picked up her laptop, underneath it was a stack of magazines with a pair of scissors.

Days of Our Lives Update

After Belle and Eric leave the house, John tells Marlena that it was a relief to see Belle and Eric getting along and not going at each others’ throat. Marlena says it is for the time being. John responds that he thought it would take a miracle for that to happen and Marlena is that miracle. Marlena admits she would’ve liked more time with them. John thinks they didn’t want to overwhelm her. Marlena says that’s kind but they’ve been apart for so long that she doesn’t want to let them go. John understands after everything she’s been through but assures that she will be surrounded by people who love her 24/7. John tells Marlena that he’s never letting her out of his sight and kisses her. John adds that he’s never letting her go.

Harris questions Andrew saying he’s going to be a free man. Andrew reiterates that it will depend on doctors evaluations but from what he’s seen, it’s obvious that he was not in his right mind when he committed crimes and was acting under Megan Hathaway’s command which means she is the one that the ISA will want to keep prisoner, not Harris. Andrew adds that he has every confidence that as soon as the doctors okay it, he will be released from their custody. Harris responds that he’s not sure that’s a good idea.

Hope asks Megan who took Kayla.

Stephanie answers her phone call from Kayla and questions if it’s really her. Kayla confirms that it is as Stephanie starts to cry.

Marlena and John talk about the book Marlena was reading before she got sick and how she looked forward to finishing it when she came home, and now she can. Marlena talks about missing having a good book and reading in the bath. Marlena feels bad that Kayla is still missing. John encourages that Steve won’t rest until he finds her and brings her home. John reminds Marlena to take care of herself. Marlena tells John that she loves him and missed him so much. John promises there will be no more missing between them again as those days are over. Marlena says she will hold him to that as they kiss.

Megan tells Hope that she will tell her the name of the man who took Kayla and it’s a name that Hope and Steve are both very familiar with. Megan says that Steve is well acquainted with this man and Hope knows him even better. Hope tells Megan to get to the point. Megan responds that the man they are looking for is unusually skilled at avoiding being captured and he used to be one of her most loyal henchmen..

Kayla knows Stephanie is shocked but assures that she is alive. Stephanie says she knows and thanks God. Stephanie keeps thinking she’s dreaming but Kayla tells her that she’s not. Kayla asks how Stephanie knew she was alive. Stephanie informs her that Steve told her as he just found out. Kayla questions how he found out. Stephanie explains that Steve and John went to the island where Megan was holding her and they found Marlena and brought her home. Stephanie adds that they tried to find Kayla as well but Megan told them that Kayla had been taken off the island by some henchman. Kayla confirms that is true but reveals that it wasn’t just some random henchman, it was her uncle Bo.

Hope asks Megan again for the name of the henchman she supposedly knows so well. Megan then claims that it was Thomas Banks which Steve questions. Megan reminds Steve of their last run in with Thomas and how he almost killed Hope in Montreal. Megan laughs at the fact that if Thomas succeeded, Hope would be dead. Megan adds that Thomas would have succeeded if Sister Mary Moira hadn’t shown up, but since she did, Harris took the bullet for Hope and survived.

Andrew tells Harris that he knows this has all been terrible to deal with and he can’t imagine what it’s been like to be brainwashed by Megan. Andrew states that if Harris is worried about being a general threat to the public, they won’t release him if his tests show that he’s still under Megan’s influence. Harris responds that was only part of his concern as it’s not what he might still do that he’s worried about, but the things he’s already done.

Stephanie questions what Kayla said as the connection is dropping and asks who the henchman was. Kayla repeats that it’s her brother Bo, Stephanie’s uncle, but the connection goes bad and Stephanie says there’s lots of static. Stephanie asks Kayla where she is. Kayla reveals to her that she’s in Greece. Stephanie asks for the name of the city but Kayla doesn’t know and says it’s Victor’s childhood home.

Brady goes to John’s and is shocked to see Marlena is alive. Brady can’t believe it while Marlena tries to explain but Brady starts to argue with her as he believes she is Hattie Adams. John comes in and reveals to Brady that it is Marlena, she’s safe and sound and he’s eternally grateful. Brady is shocked and hugs Marlena, asking how.

Stephanie tries to get through to Kayla and asks again what town in Greece she is. Kayla tries repeating that it’s where Victor is from but Bo comes back in and grabs the phone from her. Bo remarks that he wishes she hadn’t done that.

Harris tells Andrew that what he’s been doing the past few years and the crimes he committed including kidnapping and assault. Harris screams that he killed two men. Harris explains that it was in Greece while tracking down the prisms, he shot two men in cold blood and watched them fall overboard to their deaths. Harris declares that he is a killer and asks if he should have to answer for that. Andrew understands he wants to take responsibility for what he’s done and admits that he’s had to do things he’s uncomfortable with as an ISA agent, so he can relate. Harris asks if he’s ever had to kill somebody. Andrew agrees that those men did not deserve to die but argues that they were Megan’s victims just as much as Harris is. Andrew declares that what he did before doesn’t matter as he still has a future and a lot to live for, including Hope. Andrew notes that it seemed like there was a connection between Harris and Hope. Harris admits he told her that and that he wanted a chance to see what they could have together. Harris remarks that he’s not sure he can measure up to Hope’s late husband, Andrew’s uncle Bo.

Megan tells Hope and Steve that she had such high hopes for Harris but he’s been such a disappointment. Hope wants to focus on now and asks if Thomas took Kayla because Megan ordered him to. Megan responds that she had nothing to do with Kayla’s disappearance. Steve questions why they should believe her. Megan insists that she’s telling the truth that Thomas went rogue. Steve asks why. Megan claims to have no idea and that she only knows he owes her everything including his life but that doesn’t matter to him. Megan says she gave him the perfect life and was going to give him the perfect future. Megan cries that she sacrificed everything for him but he does what he wants, when he wants, and doesn’t care who he hurts. Hope questions why this upsets her so much.

John tells Brady to breathe as Marlena brings him a glass of water. Brady still can’t believe Marlena is alive and really here. John is sorry for the shock and says he left him a message that they had incredible news and he should’ve been clearer. Brady says it’s on him since Rachel borrowed his phone and it’s a long story but she probably deleted the message. John understands that nothing could have prepared him for this. Brady says he’s still trying to wrap his head around it and that it was easier to believe that Hattie Adams had resurfaced more than Marlena being here. Brady apologizes for thinking she was Hattie but Marlena calls it completely understandable. Brady calls Marlena the heart and soul of John’s life and says it was hard for all of them, but especially John. Brady tells Marlena that he’s sorry for what she’s gone through. Marlena admits it was frightening but she kept going because of the love of her family. Marlena adds that she couldn’t have gotten through it without Kate and Kayla. Brady questions Megan having them held captive all this time and questions where Kayla and Kate are.

Stephanie’s call with Kayla drops and she tells Chad about it and that Kayla is somewhere in Greece. Chad says that makes sense because Megan has a lab somewhere in the Mediterranean. Stephanie cries that she needs Kayla to call back as Chad hugs her.

Bo is disappointed as he thought he could trust Kayla. Kayla argues that she doesn’t understand why he’s doing this. Bo says he’s trying to make a new start and he can’t do that if he’s connected to the people from his past. Bo sees that Kayla called a Salem area code and guesses she was talking to Steve. Kayla tells him that it was his niece, Stephanie, and tries to get Bo to remember his family.

Andrew tells Harris that he didn’t know his uncle Bo that well. Harris is sure he heard about the great love between Bo and Hope. Andrew confirms that people talked about it like it was legendary. Harris guesses he’s right then that he can’t compete with that. Andrew doesn’t believe that. Andrew says Hope will always hold Bo in her heart, but sadly uncle Bo is dead so Andrew questions who Harris is competing with.

Hope can’t figure out why Megan seems genuinely upset that Thomas ran out on her. Megan argues that she just expects loyalty but that’s in short supply. Megan claims that she told them who took Kayla, so that’s her end of the bargain and asks to get her transfer underway. Megan reiterates that she has no idea where Kayla was taken because Thomas turned out to have a mind of his own, unlike some. Hope tells Steve that Megan is obviously not going to tell them anymore today so it’s best they start focusing on bringing Thomas Banks in. Steve warns Megan that she better be telling the truth and she better pray they find Kayla safe and sound, because if anything happens to Kayla, he’s holding Megan personally responsible. Steve and Hope then exit.

Brady goes over Marlena, Kayla, and Kate surviving the poisoning but Kayla is missing. John notes that Steve is searching as they speak and he won’t rest until he finds her. Brady asks if Kate didn’t make it. Marlena explains that Megan made it clear that there would be consequences for anyone who did not follow her instruction and Kate didn’t. Marlena adds that she was lucky to escape when she did. Brady says they are all very lucky to have Marlena back because they love and need her. Brady doesn’t think they all realized how much they relied on her until she was gone. Brady thinks most of them were falling apart. Marlena declares that it really is all about family. Marlena then asks about her granddaughter. Brady says she’s good and will be very happy to know that Marlena is alive and well. Brady can’t wait to tell her and says he’s going to pick Rachel up from school now. Marlena can’t wait to see her. Brady tells Marlena that he loves her and hugs her as he thanks God that she came back to them.

Andrew tells Harris that he’s going to check to see if the doctors have filed their reports. Andrew adds that no matter what the evaluations say, Harris is not defined by his past. Andrew tells Harris that whenever he has a chance at love, he should take it. Andrew repeats that he’s sure Hope will always hold Bo in her heart, but he’s gone now, so Harris shouldn’t let Bo stand in his way. Andrew then exits the room.

Bo questions what Kayla told Stephanie. Kayla says she told her that she was alive. Bo guesses she told her that she was with him and where they are. Kayla admits that she did but they had a terrible connection so Stephanie didn’t hear what she was saying. Bo hopes she’s telling the truth because they don’t need anyone tracking them down. Kayla argues that they are on a goat farm that Victor couldn’t wait to run away from. Kayla says if even if she could tell someone where it is, there’s a terrible connection and no signal. Bo tells her not to worry because she won’t be making any more phone calls. Bo then heads back to the kitchen.

Stephanie tries calling Kayla back but complains that it’s just ringing and ringing. Stephanie worries that maybe she shouldn’t have called her back since if someone is holding Kayla captive and heard the phone ringing, they’ll know she called someone. Stephanie worries that maybe Kayla hung up before because someone caught her with the phone. Stephanie wonders if they are hurting her. Chad encourages her not to think that way and suggests the call just dropped because of bad connection so maybe she’ll call back. Stephanie complains that she can’t just sit here and do nothing or she’ll go crazy, so she’s calling her dad.

Steve tells Hope that they should check in with Andrew to see if he knows anything about Thomas Banks’ latest moves. Hope tells Steve to go ahead and she’ll catch up with him because she wants to check on Harris. Steve tells Hope to do what she has to do and notes that Thomas has been on the ISA’s radar for quite some time, so he bets Andrew will have solid leads on how to track him down. Hope encourages Steve that Kayla is alive so they are going to find her and bring her home as they hug. Hope then goes to see Harris while Steve gets a call from Stephanie. Stephanie says she needs to talk to him. Steve asks if it can wait because he’s in the middle of trying to track down her mom. Stephanie reveals that she’s calling because she knows where she is.

Marlena reads her book in a bubble bath. John comes in and informs her that he heard from Hope, who says that Megan told them that Thomas Banks has Kayla captive, so it’s just a matter of time before they find Kayla.

Megan talks to herself about how Steve and Hope were so happy to go chasing after Thomas Banks, if only they knew who really took Kayla. Megan remarks that she wasn’t about to give Hope the satisfaction of knowing that her beloved Bo is alive again as she laughs.

Hope goes back to Harris’ room and finds Andrew there. Andrew asks if she got anything out of Megan. Hope says they did but questions what’s going on here since Andrew removed the handcuffs from Harris. Andrew reveals they just got the test results and the doctors are certain that Harris is no longer under control of Megan, so he’s free to go and now that he’s fully in control of his own mind, the path he chooses is up to him.

Steve questions how Stephanie knows where Kayla is. Stephanie explains that Kayla called her but the connection was terrible, so all she knows is that Kayla is in Greece. Steve questions how Kayla ended up there.

Bo sits with Kayla and encourages her to eat because she is going to need her strength for a busy day tomorrow.

Days of Our Lives Update

John brings Marlena home. Marlena says she’s never been so happy to see the place. John wishes she had balloons and fireworks. Marlena understands there was no time for all that. John assures that there will be a celebration soon. John wishes the entire family could be there to share his relief and this incredible miracle. Marlena repeats that she’s just so happy to be home. Marlena calls it perfect as she kisses John.

At the ISA Facility in Frederick, Maryland. Harris remains handcuffed to his hospital bed. Hope enters his room and informs him that his doctors are still determining whether or not he’s too dangerous to be set free.

Steve goes back to Megan, who is in ISA custody, and talks to her through the glass. Steve tells her to quit stonewalling and tell him where he can find his wife.

Bo brings Kayla to a cabin. Kayla complains that she’s exhausted and filthy as she questions Bo’s plan and where the hell they are.

Hope assures that Harris is not a threat or a danger to anyone as he’s been completely deprogrammed. Harris states that after all the terrible things he did, the ISA is not going to take any chances. Hope argues that they can’t possibly think he’s still under Megan’s control since he is the one who told them where to find her. Harris understands it’s still a gamble for them, so the safest move is to make him disappear. Hope says she won’t let that happen as Andrew enters the room. Hope asks if he’s going to let that happen.

John tells Marlena that he can’t believe that she’s really here. Marlena talks about what he must have gone through, thinking that he lost her. John says everybody was just so devastated, especially their kids. Marlena suggests it’s time to share the good news.

Chad and Stephanie sit together in the town square. Chad talks about their PR to successfully rehab Paulina’s image but Stephanie is distracted and looking through her phone. Chad jokes with her about not hearing him as she apologizes and asks what she missed. Chad says he was just going over the strategy for Paulina but says something is obviously on her mind and asks what’s wrong. Stephanie says she’s just waiting for an update from her dad as she hasn’t heard from him since he left which could just mean he’s super focused on trying to bring her mother’s killer to justice. Chad suggests calling him. Stephanie says she has 20 times but he’s not picking up. Chad suggests trying one more time.

Megan tells Steve that she honestly doesn’t know where Kayla is. Steve asks who took her off the island and tells her to stop wasting his time. Megan argues that he’s not going to find them. Steve demands a name. Megan says fine if he must know but Steve’s phone rings. Megan questions him not answering it and says it must be important. Steve then exits to answer the call from Stephanie. Stephanie tells him that she’s been so worried about him and asks if he’s okay. Steve says he’s fine and Megan is in ISA custody, so he’s questioning her now. Steve adds that he has some other news about her mother. Stephanie asks what it is. Steve then reveals to her that her mom is alive.

Kayla tells Bo that he still hasn’t answered her question as they bring bags of supplies inside. Kayla complains about the boat ride, ending up at a swamp, and then trekking up this mountain. Bo acknowledges that it was a rough trip but says it was worth it. Kayla argues that he made her abandon Marlena on the island and calls this a crap shack. Bo says it’s much more than that. Kayla asks what he has planned. Bo appreciates her putting up with the difficult trip, so he will let her know what his plan is. Bo then informs Kayla that she is standing in the home of Victor Kiriakis as this is where he grew up. Bo then reveals that they are in Greece.

Steve asks if Stephanie is still there. Stephanie is in shock and says she can’t believe that Kayla is really alive. Steve confirms that she is. Stephanie asks how that can be and if he’s sure. Steve repeats that her mom is alive. Stephanie asks to talk to her so she can hear her voice. Steve says she will real soon. Stephanie asks why not now. Steve explains that he’s not with her just yet. Stephanie asks if he’s not sure then. Steve assures that Kayla is definitely alive as Marlena confirmed it. Steve reveals that Marlena is alive too and John took her back to Salem from the island they were held on. Steve adds that before he could get to Kayla, one of Megan’s people took her but he assures he will not rest until he finds her and brings her home.

Bo tells Kayla that Victor’s family lost everything in the Depression, so when he was a child, he didn’t have much but that motivated him and he swore to one day get everything he desired. Bo talks about Victor dreaming of everything he would achieve and then when he got enough money, he bought this place and left it exactly as is as a reminder of where he came from. Kayla questions why they are here. Bo responds that this is where his father began to make his dreams reality, so this is where it begins for him too. Bo declares that his father built an empire, so he’s going to build one too.

Hope tells Andrew that it’s good to see him and thanks him for letting Ciara in the other day. Andrew reveals that the information that Harris gave them checked out and Megan is now in custody. Hope is excited that John and Steve found her. Andrew adds that Megan is not the only person they found.

Eric goes to John and Marlena’s and greets Belle. Belle asks what he’s doing here. Eric says that John asked him to come over. Belle assumes it’s about the search for Megan Hathaway. Eric wonders if the lead that John and Steve had didn’t pan out. Belle is surprised he cares, given how self-absorbed he’s been lately. Eric tells her to get over Sloan. Belle argues that Sloan trashed Paulina’s office and she can’t believe Eric is defending her. Eric says that Sloan said she didn’t do it and he believes her. Belle calls him delusional and brings up that after she got the civil suit thrown out, Sloan went ballistic on Chanel and Paulina in the middle of the town square. Eric argues that was because Sloan was very upset. Belle points out that Sloan threatened them and said she didn’t need court to get her revenge. Belle calls trashing Paulina’s office her first step in whatever plan she has. Eric points out that the cops questioned her and let her go because they had no evidence that she did anything wrong. John interrupts and asks what the hell is going on here. Belle says they were just having a disagreement. John tells them to knock it off. Eric asks why he called them over. John announces that they found Megan Hathaway and she’s in ISA custody. Eric says that’s great so now she can pay for killing their mom but John says actually, she can’t. Belle questions why not. Marlena then enters the room and announces that it’s because she’s alive. Eric and Belle are shocked. Belle says she doesn’t understand as Eric asks how it’s even possible. Marlena calls it a long story, but in a nutshell, Megan took her body from the hospital and had Dr. Rolf create a serum that saved her life. John states that Megan is the one who took the orchid. Marlena says she was on an island somewhere until John found her and brought her home. Marlena asks if they are going to stand there or give her mother a hug. Belle and Eric then hug Marlena, calling it incredible and a miracle.

Andrew informs Hope that Kayla and Marlena are alive. Hope excitedly hugs him and asks if they are alright and where they are. Andrew reveals that John took Marlena back to Salem but Kayla’s whereabouts are still unknown as apparently someone took her from the island, but they don’t know who since Megan refused to tell them anything but they are confident in finding a way to make her talk.

Steve tells Stephanie that’s all the information he has on Kayla but promises to get answers out of Megan. Stephanie tells Steve that he has to find her. Steve assures that he will and he will call her when he knows more. Stephanie says she loves him so much and tells him to be careful. Steve says he loves her too as they hang up. Steve goes back in to face Megan, who notes his call took awhile so she thought maybe he left. Steve says he’s not going anywhere until she tells him what he wants to know. Megan responds that she wants to make a deal. Megan says she can’t tell him where Kayla is because she doesn’t know, but she can tell him who has her after he gives her what she wants.

Bo tells Kayla that he’s going to follow in his father’s footsteps because he’s a Kiriakis and it’s what he was born to do. Kayla argues that this is all crazy talk from Megan brainwashing him. Kayla says they need to go back to Salem so he can get his head on straight. Bo argues that he’s never seen things more clear as he’s been wiped clean and gets to start over again. Bo says he gets to go down the path he was destined to go down. Bo adds that Victor came from humble beginnings, so he will too. Kayla argues that he already did when they grew up but Bo says that was her story, not his. Bo declares that he’s going to make himself from nothing like Victor did. Kayla argues that he has a history, family, and a home. Bo says this is his history and home. Kayla argues that the Kiriakis empire was a crime syndicate. Bo talks about Victor escaping poverty and becoming a giant, asking how you cannot admire that. Kayla talks about it becoming pure hate after Victor escaped. Bo talks about Victor having everything; money, power, and freedom. Kayla points out that Victor’s heart was ice cold and he’s a vengeful, vicious, ruthless man. Kayla thinks Victor is more impoverished now than ever. Kayla argues that their family may not have had much but they were rich in love and she thinks deep down he knows that. Kayla says Bo has been away for a long time but he knows that love is the most valuable thing in life. Kayla adds that if Bo could clear the confusion out of his head, he would know that she’s right and that they need to go home to the people that love them.

Stephanie informs Chad that her mother is alive, which shocks him. Stephanie says she feels like she’s dreaming. Stephanie wants to see Kayla and hold her to tell her everything that she never got to. Chad encourages that she gets to tell her all of that now as he hugs her. Stephanie says she’s so happy and she has no words for it. Stephanie tells Chad that she’s sorry since he and his family suffered a terrible loss while her family has been given this miracle. Chad assures she has no reason to apologize and exclaims that it’s amazing and incredible that her mother is alive, so he’s so happy for her. Stephanie thanks him. Chad asks if Megan was keeping Kayla captive on an island and then someone took her. Stephanie confirms that Steve is trying to find out who but he doesn’t know much of anything. Chad encourages that Steve is going to bring Kayla home. Stephanie adds that there is more and reveals that Marlena is alive too and that John brought her back to Salem. Chad is shocked and says he can’t even process any of this. Chad then asks if Kate is alive too.

Steve tells Megan that she’s not in a position to make demands. Megan asks if he wants to find Kayla. Steve assures that he will find Kayla. Megan says off he goes then. Steve stops and asks what she wants. Megan wants full immunity from everything. Steve tells her to dream on. Megan argues that he has pull with Shane and that he and John were given a pass for what they did in Hong Kong last summer. Megan asks if he will speak to Shane or not. Steve says even if he did, there’s no chance she gets immunity. Megan says she wants to go home then and she means back to Salem. Megan asks him to arrange for her to be in Statesville, then she will serve her time but she will not do it in an ISA black site where she will cease to exist. Megan wants to be in a regular prison with a cellmate, yard, and library not in a torture chamber that isn’t on a map. Megan tells Steve to make it happen because if they drop her in to the abyss, she promises that he will never see Kayla again.

Hope tells Andrew that she’ll get Megan to talk. Andrew says that Steve is interrogating her now. Hope points out that he hasn’t gotten any answers so she asks for five minutes with her. Andrew doesn’t think that’s a good idea. Hope argues that Megan can’t stand her and wants her dead, so just seeing her would make her short circuit. Harris agrees that Hope gets under Megan’s skin like nobody else. Hope says she will use that. Hope asks Andrew if his uncle Bo would be asking permission to be in on this interrogation and says he would blow by anyone to get the answers he needs. Hope says Bo isn’t here to help bring his sister home, but she is, so she has to do this for Bo.

Bo tells Kayla that she’s wrong as his childhood wasn’t full of love, but full of lies. Kayla asks what he’s talking about. Bo talks about his mom letting him grow up thinking he was a Brady despite knowing Shawn was not his father. Bo says he was the rebel and black sheep of the family. Bo says Kayla calls Victor a criminal but questions what she calls people who denies a child to be or even know who he really is. Kayla says this isn’t real. Bo calls it his reality and she knows that. Bo declares that he’s done being controlled by other people and their attempts to mold him in to what they want him to be. Bo adds that he decides who he will be, not Megan or Kayla and her memories. Bo argues that everything that came before this is in the rear view mirror. Kayla asks about all the people at home and his kids. Bo says this is his family and history, not her white washed Brady crap. Kayla declares that she’s done with this if he wants to go parading around like young Victor, he can go ahead. Kayla tries to leave but Bo stops her and says he can’t let her do that because he needs her.

Belle cries that there’s no words and says they’ve all just missed Marlena so much. Marlena feels the same while Eric adds that they’ve all been kind of lost without her. Marlena says that’s nice to hear but she doesn’t believe it’s true. Marlena says she was lost without her family. Belle asks if anyone told Sami. John confirms he left her a message and one for Brady as well. Belle can’t wait to tell Claire. Eric says Will too and the whole family will be walking on air. Marlena asks what about them. Belle says they are ecstatic. Marlena brings up that before she came in, she heard their raised voices. Eric apologizes. Marlena wants them to know how painful it is to hear them at each others’ throats, so she’d like them to find a way to make up and be at peace. Marlena asks if they can do that for her. Belle supposes they can put their differences aside, at least for today. Eric agrees for Marlena’s sake. Marlena says it’s not the reconciliation she was hoping for but guesses she has to accept that. John offers them tea. Eric wants to hear about this island. Belle notes that Marlena said she would tell them another time and what matters is that she’s here and alive as she hugs her. Belle asks if this means Kayla is alive too. Marlena confirms it does. John says there were complications but Steve is trying to bring her home as they speak. Eric asks if Kate is alive too.

Chad asks Stephanie if Kate didn’t make it. Stephanie says she’s so sorry as she knows how close they were. Chad questions what happened. Stephanie says she doesn’t know. Chad argues that Kate is one the toughest people he knows. Stephanie suggests maybe Kate was trying to help Kayla and Marlena and sacrificed herself so that they could escape and make it back home. Chad tells Stephanie that her mom is going to come home. Stephanie agrees that she will fight like hell to get back here and whoever has her doesn’t stand a chance.

Kayla tells Bo that there is no way she’s staying here as she is going home to her husband and her kids. Kayla says Bo might no longer care about the people in Salem, but she does. Bo says he really does need her help. Kayla asks if he’s going to shoot her like he shot Kate. Kayla doesn’t know what he expects her to do. Bo says he will show her and reveals the Orchid. Bo says she already knows about it’s life saving powers but Megan believes it can reverse the aging process. Kayla recalls Dr. Rolf talking about developing a serum to turn back the clock. Bo says it’s still in the testing phase. Bo reveals that he also brought Dr. Rolf’s notes. Kayla doesn’t see how she can help him. Bo explains that he needs someone brilliant, who knows science and medicine, that he can trust. Kayla questions him planning to build an empire on a flower. Bo says she keeps talking about the importance of family, so he asks who better than his sister to help him out with this. Bo acknowledges that they are tired and hungry so he’ll fix something to eat and then they will talk, eat, and figure something out. Bo warns Kayla not to bother trying to leave because she won’t get too far.

Hope confronts Megan. They comment on thinking the other was dead. Hope informs her that Harris gave them her location and whatever hold she had on him is now gone, so now Harris is back to being the courageous and heroic good man he was before meeting her. Megan guesses Hope is falling for Harris. Megan asks if she thinks she can have something real now. Hope says she’s not here to discuss her personal life. Megan questions if she’s sure that Harris is the one for her and if she’s really ready to give up on everyone else to give her heart to Harris. Hope questions what that means.

Belle questions if Megan shot Kate. John says she insists that she didn’t. Eric asks if they didn’t see it happen. Marlena confirms they just heard the gunshot. Belle remarks that someone pulled that trigger. Marlena says it’s most likely the person that has Kayla.

Bo tells Kayla that soup will be ready in a bit and suggests she take a look at Dr. Rolf’s notes. Kayla says that’s okay. Bo argues that he knows she’s curious, so Kayla then takes a look.

Hope asks what Megan wants her to know and what she’s hinting at. Megan claims it’s nothing and she just thought she was moving a little fast. Megan states that life is short, so if she really thinks Harris is the one, she should go for it. Megan remarks that she is actually rooting for them to make it.

Harris tells Andrew that it was a smart move to let Hope take a run at Megan. Andrew jokes that he had no choice. Harris tells him to feel free to check in on Hope because he’s not going anywhere. Andrew thanks Harris on behalf of the agency since they are aware that he went through a potentially fatal treatment in order to undo what Megan did to him. Andrew notes that his act of valor no doubt saved lives, so they are all in his debt. Harris says he appreciates that but assures he did it for himself first because he wants his life back. Harris adds that he wants his career back but he understands if that’s not in the cards because of the terrible things he’s done that he has to answer for. Andrew says not necessarily and explains that the ISA is putting him through all of these tests to determine if the deprogramming was a success and if he is who he was before Megan’s influence, a highly respected officer who served his country with honor. Andrew adds that if the tests show that Harris is no longer under Megan’s control, he might just walk out a free man.

Megan tells Hope that she meant what she said and that Hope doesn’t have any other prospects, so when happiness shows up, she might as well grab it. Steve returns and informs Megan that Shane signed off on her deal for 20 years in Statesville with no chance of parole, if the information she gives them leads to the safe return of Kayla. Steve hands her the papers to sign. Megan asks what’s 20 years when she’s been gone twice as long. Steve feels it’s not long enough. Megan chooses to look on the bright side and says by the time she gets out, someone may have used the orchid to create a fountain of youth so they can all relive their younger days. Megan remarks that perhaps next time, things will turn out differently. After signing the papers, Steve demands that Megan tell them who has Kayla.

Bo asks Kayla what he thinks of Dr. Rolf’s notes. Kayla calls genius and madness. Bo is sure that she can sort out what’s useful and what’s not. Bo repeats that food will be ready soon as he goes back to the kitchen. Kayla then searches Bo’s bag and finds a cell phone. Kayla calls Steve.

Steve warns Megan that she has five seconds to give them a name or the deal is off. Megan tells him to relax and agrees to hold up her end of the bargain and tell him who it is.

Kayla complains that her call to Steve did not go through.

Chad tells Stephanie that she can check her phone again if she wants. Stephanie decides obsessing won’t make him call any faster and that he will call when he has news. Stephanie then gets a call but it’s an unknown caller. She answers and is surprised that it’s Kayla.
