Lucas tried to convince Sami not to leave town with EJ. She didn’t want to listen to him. Lucas told her that EJ wasn’t there for her when she needed him. He told her he was there for her and they made love. Nicole tried to get Xander to leave Basic Black. Brady showed up and wondered what was going on. She told him that they should give Xander a job there. Brady didn’t want to give him a job. He wanted to know why she wanted to give him a job. Sami wanted Lucas to stop throwing up in her face that they made love. She said EJ told her he changed. Lucas didn’t believe he changed. She said she and Lucas were connected. She said their feelings were always going to be there. She said she cared about him. She said it had to end now. She wanted him to accept it. He said he wasn’t accepting it. Tony wanted EJ to stay in town for a while. Tony wanted him to run the business. Tony told EJ that Jake wasn’t suit to run the business. EJ said Jake wouldn’t be CEO if Shin didn’t approve. EJ wondered why Chad stepped away. Chad confronted Kate about the mirror. He asked if she was trying to pull a fast one. She admitted to be pretending to be blind. She reminded him that he pretended to be dying to get Abby in his bed. He asked why she was pretending to be blind. He asked if it was because of Jake. Jake told Gabi that he didn’t tell Kate about being with her. Gabi wanted to know why he didn’t tell her. He said he told her they slept together and she forgave him. She didn’t believe Kate would have forgiven them. She asked why he didn’t tell Kate the truth. Brady wanted to know why Nicole wanted to keep Xander around. She said it was better to keep the enemy close. Brady wondered what Eric would think about Xander working there. Gabi told Jake that Kate was playing him. He asked what kind of a person he would be if he dumped her while she was blind. Gabi told him to be with her. He kissed Gabi. Lucas told Sami that he wasn’t giving up on her. When he was about to leave, she stopped him. They ended up kissing. Marlena walked in on them.

Marlena interrupted Sami and Lucas when they were kissing. Lucas told Sami to have a safe trip home. He left. Sami told Marlena that she was going home. Marlena said EJ would be happy to see her. She said EJ was in Salem. EJ told Tony about the way he treated Sami after the fire. He said he took his pain out on Sami. He said she was back to her old self when Allie needed her. He said it made him realize what he did to her. Tony asked if Sami was coming back home with him. EJ said she was. Gabi told Jake the right thing to do was tell Kate the truth. He said he would be kicking her while she was down. Chad thought something was suspicious about Kate being blind and amnesiac, but once Jake told him that she forgave him for being with Gabi, he knew something was up. Kate told him she hated him. He said she didn’t. He suggested that she drop the scheme. He said she didn’t connive a man who didn’t want her. She said she didn’t want him back. She said she wanted to punish him. Brady told Xander that he wanted to talk to Nicole. Xander left them alone to talk. He asked her if this had to do with Eric. He said Eric made a mistake and that was why she wanted to hire Xander. Brady wanted to know why Nicole wanted Xander to work for them. She said Brady left her high and dry, but she let him come back. He finally agreed to let Xander to work for them. Sami told Marlena going home with EJ was something she had to do. She said she and EJ needed time alone. Marlena said she wasn’t trying to interfere. Sami said she knew about her problems with EJ, but he wanted to make things work with her. Marlena said it seemed as if EJ was trying to make demands on her. Jake told Gabi that he wouldn’t be with Kate long. He said it would be until she got back on her feet. Gabi said she wasn’t happy about it, but it was the right thing to do. She said they could see each other on the side. He said that might be a problem. Marlena asked Sami if she agreed to go with EJ to be with him or to get away from Lucas. Tony tried to convince EJ to run the business. Chad asked Kate how long she was going to keep up her scheme. She said for as long as it was fun. He said the doctor would be able to tell that she’s not blind. She said her doctor knew the truth. She said she was blackmailing the doctor. She said Chad was her only problem. She asked if he was going to help her. Jake told Gabi Chad wanted him to stay by Kate. Gabi said she didn’t care what Chad thought. Jake said Chad was right. If he left Kate, he would be the bum everyone thought he was. Chad said he didn’t snitch on his friends. He told Kate he wasn’t going to say anything. He didn’t care what she did to Gabi or Jake. She wanted him to look her in the eyes and shake on it. He did what she wanted. Sami said she wasn’t trying to get away from Lucas. Marlena wanted to know what Kristen had on her. Before she could answer, someone knocked on the door.

EJ told Sami and Lucas that he was there because he was getting the man who tried to take his wife away. Sami and Lucas were worried that he was talking about Lucas. EJ said he was talking about Charlie. EJ asked how Allie was. While they were talking, Lucas told him he was there for Sami. Chad ripped into Gabi for not caring about what happened to Kate. Jake talked to Kate about her breaking up with him. He told her about hooking up with Gabi. She told him she had to tell him something. She said she forgave him. He asked if she forgave him for sleeping with someone else. She said she knew Gabi for a long time and knew what she was capable of. She said she knew Gabi hurt him and broke his heart. She said he went to Gabi to numb his pain. She said he has been there for her. She said he wouldn’t have given Gabi a second look if Kristen didn’t trick him. She said she acts tough, but she is terrified. He asked her if the doctor came to see her. She said he did. She said he told her that the blindness might be permanent. Gabi told Chad that Kate would do the same thing to her if she was with Jake. Xander showed up at Basic Black. He told her he would be able to help make it better. She said he didn’t work there. She said no one at Basic Black liked him. Xander wanted to call Sami. Lucas defended Sami to EJ. He wanted to know why EJ wasn’t there for her when she needed him. Sami asked Lucas to stop. Lucas left her alone with EJ.

Brady and Philip argued over where Chloe was going to recover. Chloe told them she agreed with Philip. Xander warned Nicole that Eric would never come home once he knows what she did. EJ told Sami that Lucas thought he wasn’t much of a husband to her. He said people used to think that she put herself before others. He said she took care of him and left everything to take care of him. He said he was distant. She said she thought he was dead. She said the last couple of years have been hard, but it hasn’t been that bad. He said he still felt lost. He said she stood by him even when he told her to leave him alone. He said she did everything to help him get better. He wanted to do the same thing to save their marriage. Nicole said having Xander hold the worst night against her was torture. She said she almost told Eric the truth. He still wanted a job. She said there was no room for him there. Chloe told Brady that she would be better off staying with Philip because Victor only called her names. She said Kristen and Jan almost killed her. Brady told her that he wanted her to lean on him. EJ asked Sami what happened between her and Lucas. Chad and Jake talked about Jake telling Kate that he slept with Gabi. Chad told him to break things off with Gabi. Xander confronted Dr. Snyder about the drugs he gave Gwen. Kayla asked Gwen about Dr. Snyder. Gwen thought Xander told her what was going on. Kayla didn’t know what she was talking about when she mentioned Xander. Nicole wrote an email to Eric about what she did. When Abe showed up, she lowered the laptop. She talked to him about Eric not being in town. Sami wanted Lucas to wear a wire so he could get Nicole to confess to cheating on Eric. Nicole told Abe that she felt guilty being upset about Eric being gone when he is helping people. Sami told Lucas that Nicole broke her vows and shouldn’t get away with it. He wanted to know what this was about. He asked if it was about Nicole cheating on Eric or her cheating on EJ. Kayla told Gwen that Tripp thought she was upset around Dr. Snyder. Kayla said she would make sure he never bothered her again if he was making her feel uncomfortable. Xander told Snyder that he was pushing pills and making Gwen be his drug dealer. Snyder denied the claim. Xander said he didn’t care what he was doing, but he wanted him to leave Gwen out of it. Snyder said he wasn’t forcing Gwen to do anything. He said she runs errands for him and he would keep her secret about her miscarriage. Xander wanted to know what he was talking about.

Gwen told Kayla that Dr. Snyder didn’t do anything inappropriate to her. Gwen said she appreciated her reaching out considering she doesn’t like her because of Abby. Gwen said Abby caused her to lose her baby. Kayla asked why she thought she was talking about Xander before. Gwen said he was always stirring up trouble. Snyder told Xander that Gwen didn’t tell him the whole story. Xander told him to do it. Snyder said he couldn’t do it. Xander threatened him if he went after Gwen. Nicole told Abe that there were truths in her letter that would ruin her marriage. He asked if she wanted to end her marriage. She said she didn’t. She told him it looked as if things were going well for her and Eric until he left. Lucas called Sami out for cheating on EJ and using Nicole’s affair as an excuse. Sami admitted that she hated what she did to EJ. She said it was easier to hate Nicole instead. She wanted to know what she was going to do when she went home. She said EJ was going to know what she did when she went home. She said Rafe knew she was hiding something. Lucas said she should be honest with EJ. She said he would never forgive her. He told her to tell him that she needed comfort in her life. She said that would explain the first time, but what about the second. Lucas said their lives were in danger. She said she loved EJ and didn’t understand how she could hurt him. Lucas said she was in love with him. Snyder called Gwen and told her to keep Xander away from him or he would tell about her miscarriage. When she got off the phone, Xander was there. Nicole told Abe that her marriage was falling apart. She said marriage wasn’t for her. She said his marriage to Lexie was great. He said their marriage wasn’t perfect. She said it was because of her brother. He said his trust was broken when Lexie cheated. He said she was the love of his life. Nicole asked if it would have been better if he didn’t know about the affair. Abe said the lie would have destroyed their marriage. Sami asked if Lucas thought she was in love with him. He said the chemistry was still there. She said she was in love with EJ. Lucas said EJ pushed her away and shut her off. She said EJ was going to come around. Lucas asked what if he didn’t. He said it took two to make a marriage work. She asked what he was saying. He said they should give it another shot. Gwen confronted Xander about him threatening Snyder. She said it was a problem because he was blackmailing her. She wanted to know how he knew it was Snyder. Xander said he was eavesdropping. He said he went to the hospital and threatened him. She said Snyder would threaten her life. He asked if it was because he knew about her miscarriage. Lucas told Sami that they have been in love with each other since they were kids. He said they were the best versions of each other. He told her he wanted the passion they have again. She said she had a husband. He said he was all in if she was. He wanted to be with her. He said he didn’t care about anything as long as he was with her. Someone knocked on the door. She asked if he thought it was EJ. She opened the door and it was EJ.

Paulina was at her new home and looked over her plans for the town square. Abe showed up with the twins. He told her how much he liked Chanel’s proposal. He was going to make sure it was approved. Paulina thought she was too much of a flake to go through with her business. Abe wanted more info from Paulina and she admitted that she didn’t want to see Chanel fail and get hurt. He advised her about the best way to deal with her. She thought he was right. Chanel walked in Paulina’s house and saw her plans for the town square.

Xander found Gwen’s drugs and she insisted that they were for her pain. He didn’t believe her and called her a drug dealer. He wouldn’t have cared, but he wanted to protect Jack’s reputation. She said she would never sell drugs because her mother was an addict. She told him about her mother, but he didn’t seem to care about what she said. They ended up struggling over the drugs. Jack arrived and saw them fighting. He called them out for acting like children. Jack got a phone call so he left them alone. She admitted to Xander that someone was forcing her to deal drugs. He wanted to know more about her situation. She told him that Jack would be the one to suffer in the end. Jack came back into the room so Xander and Gwen apologized to each other.

Ava approached Sami while she was thinking out loud about Nicole sleeping with Xander. Ava told her that she was wrong about Nicole and should leave it alone. Ava wondered how Sami’s long-distance marriage was going. Sami didn’t want to talk about her marriage to EJ, but she did bring up Charlie. Ava got upset with Sami and told her that she would do anything to go back in time and be a better mother to him. She was sorry for what Charlie did to Allie. Sami softened towards her a little. She admitted that she made mistakes too. She agreed that Charlie did a horrible thing, but they share a wonderful grandchild. Ava asked her not to make Nicole’s suffering worse by pursuing the issue. Sami went to the Inn to find proof that Nicole cheated on Eric. Nicole ended up running into Sami at the town square. Sami let her know there was no record of her renting a room at the Inn. She said she used the corporate card to pay for the room. She told Sami that she had a receipt. Sami warned her that she would be watching her. Sami walked away from her. Nicole said that she had the receipt made in case Sami decided to start snooping. She admitted that sleeping with Xander was the worst mistake she made.

Jan and Chloe fought over the gun and it went off. Chloe got hit in the arm. Philip rushed to her aid. Jan grabbed the money and threatened to shoot them. Philip threw dirt in her face. He slammed her against the bushes until she passed out. He made a phone call after she passed out. Shawn told Brady about Jan. Philip called him. Shawn and Brady rushed to the hospital. Chloe woke up at the hospital with Philip by her side. He assured her that she would be fine. He said he would have killed Jan before he let her hurt her. Brady arrived and Philip blamed him for what happened to Chloe. Allie got a text from Chanel. Allie thought about their kiss. She said she was okay with her coming over. Chanel arrived and told her about opening a bakery. She wanted to use the Horton donut recipe. She also wanted Allie to work with her. She wasn’t sure she could get the recipe, but she would try to do it.

Julie arrived at Allie’s apartment and introduced her to Chanel. Chanel told her about her plan to open a bakery. She refused to give her the recipe especially once she found out she was married to Xander. Allie reminded Julie about the pot filled donuts at their book club meeting. Julie was embarrassed so she agreed to let them have the recipe. Allie and Chanel celebrated their new business. Gwen was at the hospital and told Dr. Snyder that she delivered the package. Tripp saw them together. Dr. Snyder took Gwen somewhere more private. He wanted to meet her at his office so their transactions looked more legit. He gave her another envelope. She reluctantly took the envelope. Tripp went inside his office. He needed something from Dr. Snyder. Tripp introduced himself to Gwen. He told her how they were cousins. He wanted to know if she was okay. Gwen eventually left his office. Dr. Snyder didn’t appreciate him being in his business. He ended up getting paged. Shawn went to Chloe’s room and heard Philip yelling at Brady about Kristen. Philip backed off of him. Chloe said she wanted to help put Jan away. Shawn believed Jan would be locked up for good. He thought Chloe and Claire’s statements would be enough to put Jan away. Shawn left the room so Brady apologized to Chloe for everything. He agreed with Philip that he was responsible for what happened to her. He didn’t think Kristen loved him. He thought she was obsessed and it almost killed her. He told her that he ended with Kristen. He said he wouldn’t let her down again. Shawn talked to Dr. Snyder about Jan. He told him that Jan was in a coma.

Jan told Shawn that she wasn’t going to hold up her end of the deal. She said Shawn didn’t love her. She thought he was trying to get her to confess to killing Charlie. She told him Claire was alive and at the cabin where she tried to kill Ciara. She told him Claire wouldn’t be alive by the time he got there. Ben showed up at the cabin. When he oped the door, he knocked over a lantern, which set the cabin on fire. Lani confronted Chanel about seeing Eli naked. Chanel said she did see him. Lani said it was inappropriate for her to talk about how attractive her husband is. Philip and Eli talked about Belle confessing to killing Charlie so Jan could let Claire go. Eli thought the plan wouldn’t work. Philip said Jan was obsessed with Shawn. He said Jan was stuck in high school. He said Chloe never cared about what people thought, which made Jan feel worthless. He said that made Jan dangerous. Chloe talked to Jan about killing Claire. Chloe said she thought they were friends. Jan said she did too, but Claire had other plans. Jan warned her to be more concerned about herself. Chloe wanted to know what she was going to do to her. Belle asked Shawn if Jan left Claire at the cabin to die. Shawn said not if he could help it. He left to find Claire. Ben got to Claire before she burned in the cabin. Claire told him what Jan did to her. He told her he could have killed her. He said he was seeing Jordan and she was telling him that he was trying to kill her. He said he was feeling guilty. Claire said he was feeling guilty because she kissed him while he was still married to Ciara. Philip talked to Eli about his love for Chloe. He said he lost his chance again. Eli told him not to give up. Lani told Chanel that she was only supposed to stay with her and Eli for a few nights. Lani said she should have found a job by now. Chanel said she did.

She told him Ben got to her in time. Ben told him Chloe set up a lantern to burn the cabin when he opened the door. Claire told him Jan took Chloe. Ben wanted to stay behind in the cabin when Shawn wanted to get Claire out of there. Philip wanted to know what Jan wanted him to do. She said she wasn’t going to prison for kidnapping Chloe. He wanted to know what she wanted him to do. She said to bring her money, jet and gummie bears. He wanted to talk to Chloe. Jan said there wasn’t time. She told him not to go to the police if he wanted to see Chloe again. Philip met with Chloe and Jan. He said he got the jet ready to take her wherever she wanted to go. Jan told him to leave. He said he wasn’t going unless she let Chloe go. Jan said they had a problem.

Jan brought Claire and Chloe to the cabin where Claire tried to kill Ciara. Claire said she changed. Jan didn’t believe it. Claire asked why she brought her there. Jan said to remind her that she didn’t change. Jan said Belle confessed to killing Charlie. Claire said she could let them go and she could be with Shawn. Jan said there was a problem. She said they knew about the plan so she had to kill them. Trask told Belle to change her plea to guilty. Trask thought it should be easy for her to do that unless there was an angle. Belle told her to accept the confession. Trask said she would reject the confession if she didn’t confess. Shawn and Philip talked about Jan kidnapping Claire and Chloe. Philip wondered what Jan wanted with Chloe. Claire told Jan that she said she couldn’t kill her. Jan said Chloe would do it. Belle told Trask that changing her plea required a hearing. Trask said she was aware of that. Belle said there was no time. Trask said they could call Justin and get it over with. Trask asked if she was having second thoughts. Belle said she wouldn’t change. Ben went to see Clyde to talk about Ciara sending him divorce papers. Ben told him that he cheated on Ciara. Clyde wanted to know what he did. Ben said Claire kissed him, but he didn’t stop it. Clyde wanted to know why he was upset. Ben said Jordan kept telling him that he was cheating on Ciara. Jan asked how Chloe wanted to kill Claire. Chloe said she wasn’t shooting Claire. Claire told her to do it because Jan wasn’t giving her a choice. Chloe agreed to kill Claire.

Clyde told Ben to take some action with his marriage. Ben wanted to know what he was supposed to do. He said the only thing he could do was sign the papers. He said Ciara keeps calling him and he hasn’t returned her messages. Clyde told him to get on a plane and find Ciara. Belle told Shawn and Philip that Trask wanted her to confess to killing Charlie. Shawn said she was going to be locked up. Belle said it was the only way to rescue Claire. Philip said Chloe too. Jan handed Chloe a knife so she could kill Claire. Chloe asked if she wanted her to kill Claire with a knife. Jan said she wasn’t going to give her the gun so she could turn against her. Jan told Chloe to gut Claire like a fish. Shawn asked Belle if she was sure what she was doing. Belle said she was. Shawn said Jan wouldn’t hurt Claire because it would hurt him. Trask came in and told Belle she had to go to the courthouse for the hearing. Jan told Chloe to kill Claire. Claire begged her not to do it. Jan took the knife out of Chloe hand. Claire told Jan to let Chloe go. Ben told Clyde that Ciara didn’t remember loving him. He said she was with Theo. He said he had to let her decide what she wanted. Jan said she could let Chloe go. She said Chloe was in the way since no one knew she killed Charlie. Chloe said she wanted to go home with her son. Jan said she knew she killed Charlie so she was going to have to get rid of both of them.

Julie told Jack about inviting Xander into her family home. Xander said he was drunk the last time he was there because of Sarah breaking up with him. Julie didn’t like the idea of him being drunk. Ava told Rafe that Gabi wouldn’t like the fact that they slept together. Ava told him that Gabi told her to move out of the house. He said he was going to confront her about it. Gabi told Jake that they were supposed to get together, but he wanted to be with Kate. He told Gabi he wanted to be with her. She wanted to know why he didn’t tell Kate. He said Kate was scared and lying in bed. She wanted to know when he was going to tell her. He said he was going to tell her. Lucas said he wasn’t. Kate told Dr. Snyder that she was blind. She said when she came home after being attacked she saw Jake and Gabi together. While she was telling him about Jake and Gabi, he realized she didn’t have memory problems. He also realized she wasn’t blind. Sami and Nicole argued when Sami confronted her about cheating on Eric with Xander. Nicole told her that she cheated on her husband. Sami said she didn’t cheat on her husband. Nicole said she was talking about when she cheated on Rafe with EJ. Lucas told Jake that he wasn’t going to dump Kate while she was suffering. Kate admitted to Snyder that she wasn’t blind. She said she didn’t lose her memory. He wanted to know why she did it. She said when she woke up, Jake was talking about their future together. She told him that he wasn’t going to say a word to anyone.

Xander told Julie that his behavior at her establishment was unacceptable because he and Sarah broke up. He said he wasn’t in his right mind. He said he left. She said he stole a bottle of Scotch from her. Lucas confronted Jake and Gabi about not hurting Kate. He told them that they weren’t going to hurt her by telling her that they were together. Kate told Snyder that she was going to get him fired if he said anything about her not being blind. She asked if they had an understanding. Before Snyder could answer, Jake came in to see how everything was going. Gabi told Lucas that it was worse to lie to Kate about her and Jake not being together. While they were arguing, she told him she wanted him out of her house. Nicole went over to Rafe’s house and saw him with Ava. Nicole realized they slept together. Ava talked to Nicole about her and Rafe. Nicole told her Sami suspected that she cheated on Eric. Ava asked why. Nicole said she did. Ava wanted to know how she knew. Nicole said she saw her with that guy. Ava asked if it was Xander. Nicole wanted to know why she assumed that. Ava said Rafe she offered Xander a job. Nicole told her not tell Rafe about it. Snyder confirmed with Jake that Kate was blind. Jake asked if it was permanent. Snyder said he was going to talk to a specialist. Jake asked about her memory loss. Snyder said he couldn’t give her a definitive diagnosis. Lucas went to see Sami and told her about Kate. He also told her Gabi kicked her out. He asked her if he could stay with her. Sami said he couldn’t after what they did. She told him she was going to prove that Nicole cheated on Eric.

Gwen was in for a shock when Dr. Snyder arrived at Jack’s place. Jack wanted to know what he wanted with Gwen. He lied about her prescription. He also threatened Gwen. Jack left them alone so she gave Dr. Snyder his package of drugs. She refused to help him get people hooked on drugs. He was going to tell Jack about her miscarriage if she didn’t do what he wanted. Allie was nervous about Kate. Sami assured her that she would make it. They talked about what Sami and Lucas went through in the wine cellar. Sami wanted to stay long enough to see Eric come home. Allie told her that he was going to stay longer. Allie told her how Nicole got wasted and stayed at the Salem Inn when she found out about Eric extending his stay. Sami thought about seeing Nicole with Xander. Sami told her to visit Kate and she would take Henry back to Nicole’s place. Sami called Nicole a liar. Lucas helped Kate eat. He hoped she would get her sight back soon. She thanked him for being there for her. She wondered why Jake wasn’t there. He told her that Jake was there all night. Kate assumed things between her and Jake hadn’t changed. Lucas confirmed what she suspected. Gabi found Jake in the hospital lobby. He told her that Kate was so upset that she needed a sedative. Gabi thought Kate was going to use her blindness to get to him. He assured her that it wouldn’t happen. He said that Kate didn’t remember walking in on them.

Lucas met with Jake and Gabi. He told him that his mother seemed depressed. He said the only thing helping her was the trip they were taking. Allie showed up when Dr. Snyder wanted to examine Kate. Gabi wanted to know if he was going to tell Kate about them. Dr. Snyder examined Kate and said there wasn’t anything wrong with her eyes. Kate said she wasn’t blind. He thought it was emotional blindness. She explained everything she went through. She informed him that she found her lover with another woman. Xander showed up at Nicole’s place and told her that he was moving in with her. She told him that he wasn’t doing that. She told him that Brady didn’t want to hire him. He said he was going to tell Sami what they did. He told her to make sure he got the job. He did say that he would find another place to stay. He left and Nicole wondered what she would do. Sami showed up at Nicole’s place. Nicole called Sami out when she wanted to make conversation about Eric. Sami confronted her about seeing her with Xander. Nicole lied to her and said Xander walked her to the room. Sami knew she didn’t spend the night alone. Sami said she slept with a man Eric hated. Rafe asked Ava some questions about happened in the interrogation room with Kristen. She explained what happened. Rafe said she was the only one who could have seen her. She said Kate would either be fine or have brain damage. Marlena went to see Susan. Marlena told her she was free to go. Susan was happy that she was free. Susan thought she would be arrested for helping Kristen. Marlena said she was able to convince the authorities that Kristen took advantage of her. Chad confronted Kristen about what she did to Kate and Chloe. Kristen said she didn’t want any of this to happen. She said she did it all for Brady. Chad said this was her idea of love. She said Brady wanted nothing to do with him. Chad thought she should have expected it after what she did. She said she needed his help. She said he was the only one who could make that happen. Kristen reminded her that she would be dead if she didn’t have Rolf bring her back to life. She told Ava that she owed her. Ava said she wasn’t helping her because Rafe would never forgive her. Claire said she wasn’t going to get him after he kidnapped hi daughter. Claire told her to let her go and take the deal that Belle gave her. They ended up hearing a noise again. Jan told her to pull the car over. Philip told Kristen that she lied about where Chloe was. Kristen said she wasn’t lying. Rafe went to see Sami and Lucas to find out how they got mixed up with Kristen. Jan told Claire she would check the trunk. She threatened to shoot Claire if she tried to leave. Brady asked Kristen what her plan was with Chloe. Kristen said she didn’t know. He asked if she told Xander to shoot her too. Xander wanted Nicole to meet him. He told her he needed money. She said that was his problem. He said Sami was supposed to give him money, but she double-crossed him. She said that was his problem. He said it was her problem because Sami saw them together. She asked if he wanted her to pay him the money. He said she would tell Sami what happened if she didn’t. Rafe asked how Sami and Lucas ended up in Kristen’s crosshairs. She said she thought she would be good at being a mother. She said the baby would be her family. When Chad left, Gwen called Dr. Snyder and asked about the pills. He told her to do what he said. She said Ciara left town with Theo because he was a killer. She told him about finding comfort with the woman who tried to kill his wife. He said he would never give up on Ciara. He let her get dressed and returned with a package for her to deliver. He told her that she had to do it every week. She refused to do that. He threatened to call Jack so she changed her mind. Claire tried to make Ben feel better about Ciara leaving. She suggested he leave her alone for a while. They ended up kissing. Things were heating up between them when Ben stopped them. He couldn’t do that to Ciara. Claire felt stupid, but Ben tried to make her feel better about it. She hoped she didn’t mess up their friendship. Jan said that the evidence was admissible against Belle. Julie was upset at the idea of Gwen moving in the house. Jack tried to explain to her why Gwen was moving there. Julie told him how Gwen destroyed Abby’s life and shouldn’t be living there. He wanted her to give Gwen a chance. Abby let Chad and Gabi know that she was going to stay with her mother in Boston for a while. Chad asked her if she was leaving because of them. Gabi told him that Abby was leaving because of Gwen. She tried to talk Abby out of leaving town. She didn’t think she should leave town because of Gwen. Ben went to Belle and Shawn’s place and ran into Claire. Kristen overheard Nicole telling Xander not to tell anyone that they slept together. He agreed not to say anything. Lucas’ phone started to ring. Nicole wanted to know if someone was in the room. Eli told Lani that Kristen escaped prison. He said she switched places with Susan. Lani wanted to know when that happened. He said February. She said she saw her go to the Salem Inn with Xander. He didn’t think she would cheat on Eric. He could see why she did it since he wasn’t there for her. They ended up arguing about that as well as their relationship and EJ. Sami said sleeping with him was the worst mistake of her life. He told her if EJ couldn’t forgive her, then he didn’t deserve her. She was about to slap him, but he caught her hand. They ended up kissing. Chloe picked up the poker just as Kristen came from the passageway. Kristen tried to come up with excuses for why she was there. Marlena called Chloe to tell her the news about Brady. Kristen wanted to go to the hospital to see Brady. Chloe wanted to know why she was at the mansion. Kristen came up with excuses for why she was there, but she didn’t believe her. She decided to go to the cellar to check for herself. Kate walked in and caught Jake with Gabi. She was upset by what she saw. They wanted to know why she was there. She told them about Kristen pretending to be her. Gabi didn’t believe it at first. She reminded her what Kristen did when she pretended to be Nicole. Gabi realized she had a point. She told them what happened. She noticed how he jumped at the chance to be with Gabi. She left and he tried to stop her. She told him to be with Gabi.

Brady told John how Kristen was impersonating Susan. Marlena walked in and they filled her in on Kristen. John wanted to find Kristen. Marlena thought she was in the chapel, but she was wrong. John wanted to call the police, but Brady asked her not to call them. He believed he could convince her to go back to prison. Marlena called Chloe to warn her about Kristen, but she didn’t answer. Marlena called Susan’s phone to tell her about Brady. Kristen didn’t answer the phone. She was worried about Sami so she called her too. Kristen wouldn’t answer the phone again. John and Marlena reminded Brady how Kristen was capable of hurting people. They wanted to call the police. Chloe got out of Kristen’s grip. Kristen picked up the poker and threatened Chloe and Kate. Later on, Jake walked in and saw Kate passed out on the floor. Kristen tied Chloe up and put her in the trunk of a car.

John and Marlena told her that Brady was in an accident. Chloe thought “Susan” should have known what happened to him because she was a psychic. Marlena said he was in surgery. Kristen said she was going to find out what was going on with Brady, but John stopped her. Lucas told Rafe that he couldn’t tell him what happened with Kate. Chloe told Kayla that she didn’t know the nurse’s name. Kayla said she just got Brady scheduled for surgery so it was weird that the nurse was there. John and Marlena showed up at the hospital. He asked Kayla about Brady. She said they were prepping him for surgery. John wanted to see him. While Kristen was talking to Brady, John showed up and wanted to see him. He assumed she realized why he was there. He reminded her that it was Rachel’s birthday. He wanted her to sign the card. She made a slip up and said Rachel’s favorite animal was a duck. He corrected her and said it was a cat. She made a mistake and signed the card with her real name. He asked her about it and realized she was Susan. She pulled out her fake teeth. She explained how she ended up there for Kristen. He thought it was crazy, but she told him that Kristen loved him. She mentioned how Kristen was working with Vivian. Brady was even more suspicious. She wanted to get out of prison. He asked her if she could keep up the act until he brought Kristen back there.

Kristen drove and whined about Kate being heavy. Kate managed to fight her way out of the bag. She grabbed Kristen and she lost control of the car. Brady raced down the road and thought everything would be a disaster if he didn’t get Kristen back to the prison. Kristen swerved her car at his. Lucas didn’t want to be at the hospital, but Chloe wanted him to stay and get a second opinion. She left to look for the doctor. Lucas called Sami and told her their lie was about to be exposed. Chloe came back in the room. Lucas said he didn’t deserve a long life. Dr. Dunn walked in and they thought he looked familiar. Lucas realized the doctor was Sami dressed as Stan. Dr. Dunn confirmed the diagnosis. The doctor said Lucas should enjoy his last days. Lucas asked Chloe to wait outside. Lucas confronted Sami and she took off her mask. He thought the real doctor would see her. She told him that she canceled his appointment. She demanded that he take Chloe on a trip around the world. Lucas met Chloe in the waiting room. He announced he was leaving the country. He wanted her to go with him. Sami arrived and wanted to know if there was any good news. Lucas told her about his diagnosis. He mentioned how he was going to travel with Chloe. Chloe wondered why he didn’t want to spend his final days with his family. Sami offered to pay for their trip. Sami kept talking about the importance of romance. Chloe flashed back to Dunn and meeting Stan. She realized something was up.
