This is the second episode centered on Ashley in Paris.

Martin chloroforms Ashley and takes her upstairs and is about to lock her into a room but she screams. Traci and Tucker, who are downstairs talking, rush upstairs to help Ashley. Alan arrives and asks his brother to let go of Ashley. Alan tries to persuade Martin to get help for his illness, but he says he isn’t sick. The two twin brothers have a physical struggle and they both fall over the balcony. Martin dies but Alan is okay because he landed on top of Martin when they both fell over the balcony.

Ashley tells Alan and Traci that she has a feeling that Martin did something terrible to her that night in September. Ashley can identify her three alters. Alan thinks that Ashley suffered a childhood trauma that created her alters and the trauma with Martin brought out her alters to protect her. Ashley decides to go to a clinic that specializes in her disorder to continue the work she needs to do to get healthy.

This episode is all about Ashley working with Alan to try and remember what happened that night with Alan’s twin brother Martin that caused her so much trauma she created alters to protect her.

Alan suggests that Ashley try hypnosis to try and remember what happened that night. Ashley remembers she met Martin at the bar and they had a glass of wine and talked about her argument with Tucker. Martin tells Ashley that he wants her to go to his apartment to look at a new painting that he just bought.

Ashley decides to go to Alan’s apartment to see if she can have more memories. Alan, Ashley, and Traci arrive at Alan’s apartment where Alan hypnotized Ashley again even though Traci thinks she should stop to rest. Ashley hears a chime on her phone and sees Tucker called. Ashley hears his message about seeing Alan on the street and Alan didn’t recognize him. Ashley calls Tucker back and he tells her he has seen Alan on the street twice and he didn’t recognize him at all. Tucker asks Ashley if she needs help. Ashley tells Tucker she is fine and hangs up the phone. Tucker can’t shake the feeling that Ashley needs help and keeps thinking about the phone conversation that he just had with Ashley. Ashley tells Alan and Traci that Alan is in Paris.

Ashley is more determined than ever to remember what happened, so she tells Traci to go make some coffee while she gets hypnotized again. Ashley fights to keep control as Ms. Abbott tries to come out and protect her. Alan hypnotizes Ashley again and she remembers that Martin wanted her to recreate the fight with Tucker and he would play the role of Tucker so she could tell Tucker what she wanted to say when they had the argument. Ashley remembers that Martin was the one who was violent with her, not Tucker, and must have confused Tucker and Martin in her mind. Alan is happy that he was able to figure things out and that he was able to beat his brother.

Ashley is confused but then she realizes she is talking to Martin not Alan.

Ashley tries to get away, but Martin grabs her and puts his hand over her mouth.

Devon tells Aunt Mamie that if she is really serious only wanting to unite the family she will sell her stake in Chancellor-Winters to him so all the office tension will stop.

Billy tells Lily that Jill has a problem with her heart and that is why he feels like he needs to put the Abbott name on the company to honor her contribution to the company. Billy asks Lily not to tell anyone about Jill’s illness. Billy asks Lily to help him persuade Devon and the board to add the Abbott name to the company. Chelsea tells Billy that he should concentrate on spending time with Jill and not worry so much about putting the Abbott name on the company.

Adam and Chelsea are heartbroken when Connor cancels a visit with them at the last minute because OCD made him think he didn’t deserve to be happy because his parents were going to visit him. The thoughts Connor was having made him punch himself in the face. Connor stopped himself before he hurt himself any further and asked a nurse to help him. Connor’s doctor thinks it’s a good sign that Connor was able to stop his OCD behavior. Adam and Chelsea can’t stand to think that their son is in so much pain that he would punch himself in the face. Adam and Chelsea wonder if this treatment is going to help Connor’s OCD.

Summer admits to Chance that she is jealous of the bond Kyle and Harrison have developed with Claire. Summer explains to Chance that she feels left out of Harrison’s life.

Kyle tells Mariah he doesn’t have a crush on Claire. he just thinks Claire is good for Harrison.

Alan tells Ashley and Traci he has a twin brother who is a sociopath and is very violent when he doesn’t take his medication. Alan thinks that the trauma that caused Ashley’s DID was caused by something his brother did to her and they must figure out what his twin brother did to Ashley that day.

Jack tells Nikki he can’t be her sponsor anymore and she tells him she understands and she tells him that she will find another sponsor.

Victor is not happy that Nikki intends to maintain her friendship with Jack.

Summer gives Sally the job as interim creative director of Marquetti while Chelsea’ takes a leave of absence to concentrate on Connor.

Victor fires Michael because he thinks Michael betrayed him when he tried to take Jordan out of the cellar and turn her to the police without his knowledge.

Jack walks in on another argument between Diane and Kyle because Diane thinks that Kyle disobeyed her orders again.

Claire starts her first day as Harrison’s nanny and a nervous Summer goes to Crimson Lights with Kyle to have coffee before going to work.

Diane argues with Jack about him agreeing to be Nikki’s sponsor and Diane tells Jack she will leave him if he becomes Nikki’s sponsor again. Jack tells Diane he will tell Nikki she has to find another sponsor so Diane won’t leave him but it is clear that Jack doesn’t want to stop helping Nikki.

Tucker arrives in Paris to tell Audra to stay away from Glissade because she won ‘t be able to take the company. Tucker pleads with Audra to give him one more chance, but she says that she is done with him and asks him to leave her room.

Ashley struggles to not let her alters take control. Ashley remembers that she called Alan after her argument with Tucker. Ashley tells Alan that she doesn’t remember the date that she called him but he told her that he would come pick her up so they could talk about what happened with Tucker. Tracy remembers that call must have taken place the first week in September. Alan tells Ashley that he couldn’t have spoken to her because he was in Florence, Italy the first week in September.

Sally accepts Adam’s offer to move in with him and he gives her the keys to his apartment.

Sally tells Chloe that she is closing the interior design business and may have a temporary job at Marquetti. Chloe is hurt that Sally made all of these decisions without consulting her since they are business partners. Chloe wishes Sally the best with Adam and hopes that Adam doesn’t break her heart again.

Adam and Chelsea head off to Maryland for their first in-person visit with Connor.

Jack talks to Nikki and he agrees to be her sponsor again and Diane is very angry about it.

Victor and Cole tell Claire, Nikki, and Victoria that Jordan was found on the banks of the river alive. Victor explains that Jordan was taken to maximum security prison and won’t hurt them again.

Jill has a video call with Billy and tells him she has been having rapid heartbeat and shortness of breath, so she went to London where her brother Snapper is taking care of her.

Billy wants more details about her condition but Jill doesn’t want to talk about it anymore. Jill tells Billy not to tell Lily or Devon about her condition. Jill tells Billy she will be fine and asks him to protect the legacy of the company. Jill tells Billy she is proud of him and loves him very much.

Adam asks Sally to move in with him and she tells him she will think about it and give him an answer later.

Adam and Chelsea are nervous about going to Maryland for their first in-person visit since they sent Connor for treatment. Chelsea tells Summer about Connor ‘s OCD and that she has decided to take a leave of absence to concentrate on Connor and his treatment. Chelsea suggests to Summer that Sally fill in for her at Marquetti. Summer doesn’t like the idea but agrees to think about it.

Tucker promises Jack he will stay away from Ashley while he is in Paris on business.

Summer talks to Chelsea about Claire and why she is worried about her being Harrison ‘s nanny. Chelsea thinks Summer should give Claire a chance to prove herself and show she can be trusted. Summer interviews Claire and then decides to give her the nanny job on a provisional basis and Harrison is very happy.

Nick thinks Summer is angry with Jordan for what she did to Harrison but she is taking it out on Claire because Jordan isn’t around for Summer to tell her how angry she with her for what she did to her family. Nikki also tells Summer she thinks Claire is a kind caring person despite everything Jordan put her through when she was growing up.

Kyle and Harrison invite Claire to ride the Ferris wheel with them. Summer later sees Claire, Kyle, and Harrison in the park and tells Claire they should get together later to discuss her being Harrison’s nanny.

Michael and Cole go to Jordan’s cell in the wine cellar and tell her they are going to put her in a proper jail cell. Victor arrives and tells Michael and Cole he isn’t going to let them take Jordan anywhere.

Cole tells Michael that Jordan is alive and Victor is keeping her in a cell inside an old wine cellar. Cole wants to put Jordan in a proper cell but he doesn’t want Victor to get in trouble for keeping Jordan prisoner. Cole doesn’t agree with what Victor did but he understands that Victor was just trying to protect his family. Michael decides the best thing to do would be for him and Cole to get Jordan out of the wine cellar and into a proper prison without Victor knowing about it.

Ashley has a headache and passes out when she awakens again she can’t remember why she was talking with Tucker. Tucker takes her home and Ashley asks Alan for help because she doesn’t know what is going on with her. Alan tells Ashley he thinks she has dissociative personality disorder tied to a trauma that she suffered in Paris. Ashley tells Alan she can’t remember anything traumatic that happened in Paris. Alan wants Ashley to go to Paris with him to try and remember the trauma that may have caused her DID.

Nikki returns home because her doctors think she is well enough for outpatient treatment.

Tucker gets a call from one of the Glissade board members telling him that Audra is in Paris and has scheduled meetings with board members.

Lily is worried about Nate’s judgement if he continues his flirty friendship with Audra. Nate later tells Devon and Lily that Audra has broken up with Tucker.

Jordan tells Cole that if he sets her free she will leave town and never return to Genoa City. Jordan tells Cole that, if he wants to, he can call the police so they can put her in a proper jail but he should turn Victor in to the police too. Cole calls Michael and tells Michael he needs to talk to him.

Alan tells Jack and Traci that he thinks Ashley went through another trauma in Paris after her argument with Tucker but he hasn’t found out what the second trauma is yet. Alan says it is important that Ashley get professional help. Tucker tells Ashley she needs professional help and the Belle personality tells Ms. Abbott to let go because her plan isn’t working.

Audra makes Tucker think she and Nate slept together when the truth is she and Nate talked all night in her hotel room. Tucker tells Audra she doesn’t have a job at Glissade. Audra tells Tucker their relationship is over because he never considered what she wanted for her life. Audra assures Nate that she will find a job because she always land on her feet.

Adam and Chelsea have a video call with Connor and he tells them that his OCD is making him think that he is a burden to them and it would have been better if he never would have been born. Chelsea and Adam tell Connor they love him very much and nothing will change how much they love him. Connor tells Adam and Chelsea that this conversation is making things worse so he ends the video call. Adam calls Connor’s doctors and they tell him they will watch him more closely. Adam and Chelsea look at family photos and wonder if they should find new doctors for Connor because his OCD is getting worse.

Ashley’s Ms. Abbot personality tells Tucker she wants to be with him again but Tucker tells her he wants to be with Audra. Ashley tells Tucker she knows he doesn’t love Audra because he still loves her.

Cole sees Victor taking a plate of Brussell sprouts to the wine cellar. Once Victor has finished torturing Jordan and watched her beg to get out of her cell, he leaves and goes back upstairs. Cole is hiding so Victor doesn’t see him. Cole makes sure Victor is gone then he takes the key that is hanging by the door and opens the wine cellar. Cole is shocked to see his Aunt Jordan asleep in the cell Victor had built there years ago.
