Brady told Kristen he was going to confess to trying to kill Victor. Kristen was upset that he wanted to do that without talking to her. He said he wanted her to be there for Rachel. She wanted him to be there for her too. Sami almost had Allie convinced that she was taking the baby to Marlena’s place, but Kate told her what she really wanted to do. Allie went off on her. Allie mentioned Eric leaving town so Sami wanted to go after him. She was going to take the baby, but Allie told her she couldn’t. Belle arrived and told Brady that the DA retired and wasn’t the one working on Kristen’s case. Melinda walked in the room and said she was the one working on it. Belle said she refused to accept the plea or Brady’s confession. Sami arrived at Eric’s place. She couldn’t believe he was going to leave without saying goodbye to her. He said it and slammed the door in her face. She was determined to get in the apartment. They talked about the custody case. He advised her to work things out with Allie or she would lose her daughter. Kate tried to get Allie to look at the baby, but she didn’t want to do it. Kate asked why she wanted to run away so Allie explained how she didn’t want to screw up his life.

Melinda reminded Kristen about what she did to her daughter and how she got away with it. Brady asked her not to make it personal, but she didn’t want to hear it. Sami told Eric that she asked Allie to come with her. He knew she didn’t want to go with her. He said Sami would be violating what Allie wanted. Nicole wondered about Allie. Sami didn’t think Allie was ready to have custody of her baby. Eric had another idea, but Sami had to get over herself. Kristen begged Melinda not to take what she did out on Brady. She had no intention of doing that to him. She wanted to deal with her. Brady tried to threaten her, but it didn’t work. She was ready to see her in court. Eric continued to convince Sami to go along with his plan so she wouldn’t lose her daughter forever. Sami was finally willing to compromise. Sami thought Allie had to agree to the plan. Eric and Nicole thought she would. Sami wanted to know how long Eric would be gone. He told her and they said they loved each other. Brady thought what was going on with Melinda was unfair. Belle warned him that the justice system was unfair. Kristen said she wanted a child her entire life. She accepted that she had to say goodbye for a long time. Allie told Sami that Justin was getting a restraining order against her to keep her from taking the baby to Italy. Sami told her about the arrangement. She would let Nicole have custody of the baby if Allie lived with her.

Lani apologized to Kristen for Eli arresting her. He came in and told them Belle called. He said Belle was going to take the case. Eli wanted to know if he and Lani could get past this. She told him to let them know when Belle was there. He left the interrogation room. Lani told Kristen that she didn’t think she could forgive Eli. Kristen told her she should. Lani said he put his job before her. Kristen said she put her before him. Kristen suggested that she listen to him. Brady asked Victor if he could back up his story that he stabbed him and not Kristen. Victor didn’t think the police would believe the story. Victor didn’t want Kristen to be free. Brady wasn’t interested in what Victor wanted. Brady said he was going to confess and get a deal. Victor agreed to talk to the police. Marlena and Belle talked about what John did to Sami. Belle thought it was funny, but Marlena didn’t. Marlena said John was losing control. Eric showed up while they were talking. Roman showed up too. Eric told everyone he was leaving Salem. They wanted to know if he talked to Sami and Brady. Eric said Brady was busy with Kristen. Eric didn’t want to see Sami. They tried to convince him to tell her goodbye.

Brady went to say goodbye to Eric. Eric walked away so Brady and Belle could talk about Kristen. Belle tried to convince him not to do his plan, but he wanted to do it anyway. Brady went to the police station to see Kristen. He told her Belle was going to talk to the D.A. to get a deal. He said he was going to confess to stabbing Victor. Kristen told him that he wasn’t doing it. Nicole was happy to see Allie. Allie told her she was going to talk to the judge to get her to change her mind and let Nicole and Eric have the baby. Nicole told her Eric was leaving so she would be the one raising the baby. Nicole wanted to talk to Eric about it. Allie asked her to raise the baby by herself. Sami talked to the baby about her plan to get Allie to fall in love with him and move to Rome. Kate walked in and was glad to see the baby. Kate thought Sami was trying to manipulate Allie. Sami tried to defend her actions. Sami wanted to stop Allie. Kate said Allie was at Nicole’s place. Sami wanted to go there, but Kate told her not to go. Kate didn’t want her to push Allie away. Kate said she would make things worse. Sami said she had to do something. She said she was taking the baby to Rome and no one was going to stop her. Allie came in and wanted to know what Sami was up to.

Marlena talked to Sarah about John’s behavior. She wasn’t sure how long it was going to last. Shawn wasn’t happy when Shawn saw Belle with Philip. He wanted to know what was going on with them. Belle told him about Jan showing up at Hope’s house. Xander talked to Jan about getting Philip out o the picture. She thought he wanted her to go to the police. She realized that was why he was concerned about her safety. He thought Victor wouldn’t like it. He offered his phone number, but Sarah stopped him. Allie overheard Sami talking about taking the baby. They got into an argument about it. Nicole tried to talk Eric into going to Africa to help the people. Eric didn’t want to go, but she continued to convince him to go. Claire talked to Marlena about meeting Jan. Shawn hoped that Claire wouldn’t have anything to do with Jan again. Belle didn’t want to talk to Shawn with Philip around. Philip offered to help since he doesn’t have to follow the law. He told them that he threatened her. Sarah explained who Jan was to Xander. Nicole wanted to do the right thing by telling Eric to go to Africa. She wanted him to do it for her. Allie was going to take her baby to Eric and Nicole’s place. Sami told her that she couldn’t because she’s not the guardian. Allie was going to do it anyway.

Nicole continued to convince Eric to go to Africa. She wanted him to help people. Marlena reminded Claire about the terrible things Jan’s done. Claire said that she did terrible things too. Claire defended Jan to her. Belle talked to Shawn about being worried about Claire bonding with Jan. Shawn couldn’t believe Claire defended Jan. Belle was scared for Claire. Marlena wanted Claire to stay away from Jan. Sami suggested that Allie go back to Rome with her. She would help her raise her baby. Allie thought she wanted that all along. Shawn assured Belle that he wouldn’t let anything happen to Claire. Belle was afraid something did. Jan ran into Claire and apologized for not telling her who she was in the first place. Sami was okay with it if Allie hated her, but she insisted she see her baby. Shawn thought he and Belle should let Philip kill Jan. Jan advised Claire not to talk to her in public. She would understand if she didn’t do it. Allie told Sami she thought about the list of things she got away with until now. She was going to the judge the next day.

Sami went to see John. She bought him a cactus. He threw it against the wall. He reminded her that she said he was nobody. He called her out for her selfish behavior. He asked her if she knew how sick of her he was. He called her a nasty b*tch. She told him that she hoped her have a blood clot in his cold, dark heart. Marlena came in and told Sami to leave. Marlena told John that she didn’t believe Sami’s side of the story. Marlena didn’t believe that he would resort to calling her names. He admitted it. He wasn’t sure if it had to do with his condition. He said he said things to Sami that he would have never said to anyone. He wanted to know what was wrong with him. She said it was nothing to worry about. Belle was upset to find Jan with Claire. Claire wanted to know why Belle was mean to her friend. Belle said she wasn’t her friend. She said it was Jan Spears. Jan said she stopped by to offer her condolences. Belle knocked the flowers out of Jan’s hand. Belle didn’t believe Jan changed. Jan said people with mental illness could change.

Belle threatened to get a restraining order and pushed Jan out of the house. Claire asked if she thought Jan reached out to her because they were both crazy. Claire said she was doing well because Ciara gave her another chance. Lucas had trouble entertaining Allie’s baby. Nicole came in and offered to help him. She was able to control the baby. Sami came in and was furious that Nicole was holding the baby. Nicole ripped into Sami for taking the baby from Eric. When Nicole left, Sami told Lucas she was taking the baby and leaving town. While she was on the phone making the arrangements, Allie walked in and told Sami that she wasn’t taking her baby. Philip ran into Jan. He warned her to stay away from Belle. Xander was eavesdropping on them. Philip threatened to take care of Jan permanently if she didn’t stay away from Belle or her family. When he left, Xander introduced himself to Jan. Philip went to see Belle. He let her know he was going to protect her and Claire from Jan. They hugged each other.

Brady was surprised that Kristen was arrested for stabbing Victor. He asked Belle to represent Kristen. Belle didn’t want to represent her. He asked her to do it for him. She changed her mind. She warned him that he could be arrested for aiding and abetting depending on what Kristen told the police. Brady went to the police station. He and Kristen planned on how they were going to fix her situation. He told her that Belle was thinking about representing her. Kristen said she forgot people hated her. She said no one would side with her. Abe comforted Hope. He wanted her to take a break, but she wanted to make Vincent pay for what he did to Ciara. Victor told Maggie that he wanted to get revenge. He blamed Ben for what happened. She saw Victor with a gun. He wanted to go to the hospital and kill Ben. She said he couldn’t go in the hospital with a gun. He said she was right. He said he would hire someone. Maggie tried to talk Victor out of killing Ben. He was upset that he didn’t kill him when he had the chance. He said he failed Ciara. Maggie said he should be there for the people Ciara left behind. She said they would all be hurt. Brady ended up showing up. He asked Victor to help Kristen.

Lani yelled at Eli for putting his job before their marriage. She wanted to know how she could trust him again. Eli tried to defend what he did, but she wasn’t hearing what he said. She ended up walking away from him. Claire offered to clean up Hope’s place. Jan showed up when Shawn left. Jan said she was a friend. Jan offered to help Claire clean up. Jan suggested that they get to know each other. Claire told Jan that she loved Ciara. Claire said she almost killed her. They bonded over the things they have done. Jan said therapy helped her. While they were bonding, Belle came in and told her to get away from her daughter. Eli got a tip that Vincent was seen on a bus. Shawn came in with a report on the explosion. He saw that the explosion was caused by a bomb that was triggered remotely. He was scared to ask about Ciara. Hope looked at the report. She said it didn’t make sense. She said they didn’t find any remains. Hope thought Ciara wasn’t in the car. She said Ciara was still alive. Hope wondered where she was.

Hope went to Eve and told her what happened to Ciara. She let her know that she didn’t tell Vincent to go plant a bomb in the car. Hope talked to her about Vincent’s agenda for going after Ben. Lani hoped Eli would look the other way and not go after Kristen. Eli arrested Kristen and she told him anything she could think of to get out of being arrested. John woke up, but he couldn’t remember Brady and Marlena. Kristen told Eli that Lani wouldn’t forgive him if he arrested her. She reminded him that he would be married to Gabi if she didn’t convince Lani to go after him. She wanted him to act as if he never saw her. Lani showed up at Kristen’s door. Hope told Eve that the firefighters only found Ciara’s engagement and wedding rings.

Lani took Rachel to Kristen’s place and saw Eli there. Kristen thought she got through to him, but he ended up arresting her. Marlena filled John in on some details of their lives together. John got his memory back and Brady and Marlena were relieved. Eli took Kristen to the station. Lani was upset when she saw Eli. Brady wanted to give John and Marlena some time alone so he wanted to call Kristen at the Salem Inn. Marlena was surprised that Kristen was in Salem. Lani was upset that Eli lied to her and arrested Kristen. He explained why he decided to arrest Kristen. She thought he used a personal conversation and used it to look like a hero. Kristen called Brady. He told her how John was awake. She was glad for him, but she said she was arrested.

Justin and Kayla talked about the pain Hope was going through because of Ciara. Justin comforted her because of it. Lani and Kristen talked about what happened to Ciara. Lani agreed to keep Rachel longer. Kristen was concerned about Eli, but she was going to handle him. Eli overheard their conversation. He wasn’t happy about what she told Kristen. Lani tried to defend Kristen, but he warned her how she may make a mistake. Sami went to the hospital to visit John and Marlena confronted her about helping Jan get out of Shady Pines. Sami tried to explain herself to her, but she wasn’t any of it. Eric and Nicole found out that the judge made her decision. Sami and Marlena continued to argue about Jan until she had to go to court. Lani defended Kristen’s actions to Eli, but he wasn’t going to cave. He thought Kristen should be caught. Kristen talked to Brady about what happened to Ciara. He wanted to go see Victor and she was upset about that. She said that she and Rachel would be gone when he got back.

Brady and Kristen argued over him going to see Victor. He tried to defend Victor and reminded her how she helped Stefano despite what he did to her family. She told him to go if it’s that important to him. He decided not to go after all. Eric and Nicole talked about Ciara’s death when Sami arrived. She was shocked by it. She thought Ben was responsible for it so Eric wanted to explain things to her. She didn’t want to hear it from him. Judge Duncan arrived in the courtroom. Lani appreciated what Eli did for Kristen. He didn’t seem to want to talk to her anymore so he left. Kristen was glad Brady decided not to go see Victor. He realized he should be there for John. The judge talked to Sami, Eric and Nicole before she rendered her verdict. The judge lifted the restraining order and allowed Eric and Nicole to see the baby. Kristen opened her door and saw Eli standing there. Brady was at the hospital with Marlena and they wondered what would happen when John woke up. John opened his eyes and moved his hands. The judge gave custody to Sami.

Chad lied to Abby about Jake thought there was something going on between him and Gwen. Chad admitted that Jake saw Gwen kissing him. Abby was furious. He said he went along with Gwen’s scheme. Abby said he let Gwen kiss him. He said it was the only way to get rid of her. Abby said she reminded her of Gabi. He said Gwen got it bad when she walked in on Gabi in bed with Jake. He said he wanted to focus on them. Jake went to Gwen’s room. She was holding the drug she used on Abby. He wanted to know why she was packing. She said she wasn’t. She said she was leaving their room and was going to Gabi’s room. She said she didn’t want to share a bed with him. She said she accepted that they were over and didn’t want a man in her life. She said she was on a mission. He wanted to know what it was. He thought she was going after Chad. She said she was glad Gabi opened her legs to Jake because it made her see who he really was.

Chad went to Jake’s room. Chad told him to stay out of the deal at DiMera. Chad ripped into him for telling Abby about him and Gwen. Chad warned him that he was a fighter. Chad told him not to push him. They ended up arguing. Chad told him to find another place to live. Gwen went downstairs and saw Abby. Gwen held on to the drug she gave Abby. Gwen apologized to Abby for what she saw. Abby asked her if she was talking about kissing her husband. Abby said she didn’t see it, but she heard about it. Gwen apologized. Gwen said she wasn’t trying to come on to Chad. She said she wanted to make Jake jealous. Abby said that didn’t work well. Gwen said she underestimated Gabi. Abby said she could relate. Gwen wanted to know if they could be friends. They made up. Gwen gave her white wine and put the drug in it. Abby ended up not drinking the wine when Chad came back and wanted to go upstairs with Abby. Belle was on the phone with Marlena. Belle talked to her about John and Shawn’s lead on Ciara. Philip snuck up on her. Belle attacked him because she didn’t know who he was. He apologized to her. She told him she thought he was Jan. He told her he wasn’t flattered. He said he thought she was locked up. She said Sami got her out. They continued to talk about Jan and Ciara. Vincent’s car blew up at the airfield. Ben called out to Ciara. He tried to go to the car, but he passed out. Hope screamed out Ciara’s name. The firefighters showed up to put out the fire. Ben was taken to the hospital. Hope went to see Ben. She told him the firefighters did everything they could.

Hope and Shawn went to Wendy’s place to look for Vincent and Ciara. Their search turned up empty because they weren’t there. Ciara wanted to know where Vincent was taking her. He called her Wendy and didn’t want to tell her where they were going. Chad was happy that Gabi was gone so she wouldn’t be a threat to Abby anymore. Gwen thought about Abby and Chad drinking together. Gwen flashed back to Julie pouring champagne for Abby and Chad. Hope and Shawn investigated the room and found Ciara’s necklace. Ciara decided to pretend to be Wendy to mess with Vincent’s mind. Abby was suspicious about whether Gabi drugged her. She thought Gabi would have bragged about it. There was another flashback of Abby and Chad together at Julie’s Place. Gwen overheard them talking to Julie about Gabi.

Julie thought she recognized Gwen so she approached her. Hope and Shawn went to the station to tell Ben that they had a lead on Ciara. Abby had a surprise when she saw Jake at the mansion. She thought he was Stefan despite how much he denied being him. He was tired of people calling him Stefan. She believed that he wasn’t Stefan. Ciara continued to let him think she was Wendy to get him to put his guard down. She noticed the gun in his lap so she had to think of something. Hope and Shawn let Ben know that Ciara was with Vincent. Ben was released so he wanted to help them look for her. They wanted to check on a lead. Abby asked Jake about Gwen and he told her about his suspicions about her being involved with Chad. She wasn’t happy about that and confronted Chad about Jake’s accusation. He admitted that Gwen kissed him. He explained why she kissed him. Vincent took Ciara to an airfield so they could leave Salem, but she tried to escape. He was able to stop her from leaving and got her back in the car. Hope, Shawn, and Ben arrived at the airfield to look for Ciara. They saw Vincent in the car and Hope told him to get out of the vehicle. He got out, but he ran away. The car exploded with Ciara possibly in it.

Abby got a shock to see Chad hugging Gwen. Chad tried to explain what happened, but she introduced herself to him. Steve saw someone in his place and it turned out to be Tripp. Steve and Kayla wanted to know why Tripp was in town. Hope talked to Jennifer and Jack about what happened to Ciara. Hope thought that Vincent might have his own reasons to go after Ben. Vincent told Ciara that he just had photos of Wendy. He wanted to shoot her like a dog the way Ben did to Wendy. Tripp said he wanted to be with his family. Steve wondered why he left med school. Kayla told Tripp what happened to Ciara. Claire talked to Shawn about what happened to Ciara. He told her how they wanted to find out why Vincent continued the plan without Eve. She wanted to help. Vincent told Ciara how Wendy took care of Abby and then Ben killed her. He wanted to kill her too for keeping Ben from dying. Gwen walked out of the room so Chad asked Abby why she left the hospital. She assured him that she was emotionally stable now. Chad wanted to know if the hallucinations were gone. She said they were under control. She didn’t want him to fight her on that. Tripp told Steve that he wasn’t going back to school. Hope continued to talk to Jack and Jennifer about Vincent being up to something.

Abby wanted to know if Chad was going to fight her on being back home. He wanted the best for her. Kayla showed up at the station to be there for Hope. She told her and Jennifer how Rafe went to Mexico to help his mother. Vincent was going to stab Ciara with a syringe, but she was too fast for him. They fought over the syringe. She tried to leave the room. Tripp talked to Steve about studying in Salem to honor Haley. Tripp mentioned how he tried to ruin Kayla’s career. Chad told Abby that Gabi left town. Hope and Shawn were investigating where Vincent could have taken Ciara. Steve and Kayla met at the pub. He wanted to know if Hope found out anything about Ciara. She said that they didn’t have any leads. Chad told Abby how happy he was that Gabi was gone. He blamed her for Abby having hallucinations. Abby thought it was too bad that they couldn’t prove what she did. There was a flash back of her with Chad and they were drinking. Gwen thought about Chad and Abby drinking too. Hope and Shawn barged in the room Vincent had Ciara, but they were gone. Ciara wanted to know where Vincent was taking her. He called her Wendy, but didn’t tell her where they were going.

Brady arrived at the inn and was surprised by Kristen. He told her that she couldn’t be there because someone might recognize her. Eli went home and saw Lani with a baby. She told him she was babysitting. He asked her name and put two and two together. He wanted to know if she was Kristen’s baby. Jake was upset that Gabi left him. Gwen showed up and he wasn’t happy about it. He didn’t want her there, but she told him Chad said she could stay there. He let her know that Gabi left town. Chad talked to Kate about Jake trying to take over the company. They also talked about Gwen being at the mansion. She thought that she should go, but he wanted her to stay. Kate wondered if something was going on between them. Brady wanted to know what happened to Rachel. She told him that she was with Lani. He reminded her that she’s married to Eli and he would tell on her. Eli told Lani that she’s a cop and wanted to know why she didn’t call the police on her. He put an APB out on Kristen. Brady wanted Kristen to leave town. Lani took Eli’s phone to keep him from making the call. They went back and forth about how wrong that was. She wanted him to keep it between them.

Brady continued to tell Kristen how wrong it was for her to be in Salem. She wanted to be there for him. Lani told Eli that Kristen and Brady would be there until John was better. She pleaded with him to look the other way. He agreed to keep quiet. He ended up telling her that Gabi left town. Lani was excited about that. Chad told Kate that Gabi left town. She was happy about it, but she let Chad finished. Chad told her about Abby not being completely better, but she would be able to manage her symptoms. Gwen was happy to find out that Gabi dumped him. She told him that she was in love with him so she thought he deserved what Gabi did to him. She expected him to beg for her forgiveness. He told her that they weren’t getting back together regardless. Steve and Kayla were relaxing at home when someone walked in the door. The person looked at their picture together. Gwen talked to Chad about what Jake did to her. She told him that she was heartbroken. Kayla heard something break and Steve checked it out. Eli promised Lani that he wouldn’t tell the police about Kristen or Rachel being in Salem. Steve snuck up on the person at his place and found out it was Trip. Gwen thanked Chad for being nice to her and hugged her. Chad was in for a surprise when Abby showed up.

Belle talked to Shawn about being glad that psycho Jan was locked up. Jan surprised them by showing up at the hospital. Belle wanted him to call the police, but Jan told them that she was released. Ben remembered Vincent and told Marlena he was the one who told him to kill Ciara. Jan showed Belle and Shawn the paperwork that proved she was released. Ben continued to remember Vincent being in the dorm room. Ciara woke up and saw Vincent. She remembered him working with Eve. Jan wanted Marlena to be her therapist, but Belle didn’t want her to be her therapist. She didn’t understand how Jan could be released and she told her Sami got her out. Sami told Lucas about her plan to get custody of the baby. He was shocked she was able to get Jan out of Shady Pines. Ben continued to remember how Vincent was the one who showed up in the room and tried to get him to kill Ciara. Ciara also had memories of what Vincent did to her and Ben. She wanted to know what the next plan would be. Ben remembered that Vincent was the one who took Vincent. Hope thanked him and left the room. Brady blamed himself for why Eric and Nicole lost time together. Eric assured him that it was fine. He wanted to know where Brady went. Lucas didn’t understand how she could bring someone from a loony bin to get custody. Sami explained why she got her. He warned her that someone would be upset that she did that. Jan explained how Sami was able to get her out of Shady Pines.

Marlena told Shawn and Belle that Ben didn’t kill Ciara. Ben asked Hope if she found Vincent. She told him that he wasn’t found. They talked about how he could be anywhere. Ciara tried to bribe Vincent to convince him to let her go. He said it had nothing to do with Eve. He told her that he had his own reasons for going after Ben. Eric and Brady continued to talk about Kristen and Rachel. Vincent told Ciara that he was in love with Wendy and Ben killed her. Belle went to the townhouse to confront Sami for bringing Jan home after what she did to her. They argued over it until Belle slapped her. Belle apologized for hitting her. They talked about the things Jan did and Belle thought she shouldn’t have brought her there after everything she’s dealing with now. Ben yelled at Hope about finding Ciara. Hope reminded him that she was worried too. Vincent told Ciara about Wendy and how Ben treated her like she was trash.

Shawn questioned Ben about what happened to Ciara. Ben couldn’t tell him what happened because he couldn’t remember anything. The judge was about to render her verdict when Jan Spears walked in the room. She went right to Nicole and asked her if she was happy to see her. Nicole and Eric went to Sami and asked her about Jan being out of the mental hospital. Shawn threatened Ben if he didn’t tell him what happened to Ciara. There was a shot of Ciara lying on a bed. Sami told the judge that the people at Shady Pines know that Jan was there. Justin tried to object, but the judge allowed Jan to testify. Marlena confided in Belle about how guilty she felt about what happened to Ciara. She told her that she didn’t help Ben when he was in trouble. Claire tried to assure Hope that Ciara would be okay. They heard Shawn threaten him. Hope wanted Shawn to keep it together. Eric tried to talk Sami out of having Jan testify, but she was determined to do it. Sami questioned Jan. Jan admitted that Nicole wanted her to kill Victor.

Claire talked to Ben about what happened. She tried to make him feel better, but he reminded her that he hurt innocent people. She told him that she knew he changed. Sami continued questioning Jan. She gave a lot of details about Victor’s attempted murder. Judge Duncan wanted answers from Nicole. Marlena went to the station to talk to Hope about Ben. Justin advised Nicole not to answer whether Jan was telling the truth. Sami told the judge that proved she was guilty. She pleaded with the judge not to grant her custody of her grandson. Shawn went to the hospital and talked to Belle. He ended up telling her that he ran into Philip. She was surprised that he was in town. He also mentioned Jan. Justin wanted the judge to forget about Jan’s testimony and award custody to Nicole and Eric. Marlena went in the interrogation room to talk to Ben. He wasn’t sure if he killed Ciara. She wanted to hypnotize him. Sami had Jan’s diary and a letter from the head of Shady Pines to prove her case. Sami said that Jan is being released. Belle and Shawn talked about the way Jan terrorized them and was glad she was in Shady Pines. Jan came up to her and told her that she was wrong. Ben was going over what he did while he was under hypnosis and remembered what happened.

Nicole felt guilty for Eric lying in court. He said he wanted to do it. She realized Sami was right and she’s turning into someone people don’t recognize. She decided it might be a good idea to let Sami get custody of Allie’s baby. Will and Sonny told Sami they were leaving town and she wasn’t happy about it. Sami got a call that the judge was ready to reach her verdict. Brady was at the hospital with Marlena. She wanted to know why he was gone for so long. He told her that he was with Kristen and Rachel. Nicole, Eric, and Justin were in the courtroom talking about the case. Nicole wasn’t sure what Sami would do if they win the case. Justin assured her that they were going to win, but Sami told them not to be sure about that. Xander told Philip about Victor giving him the job. Philip wanted the position so he thought he should have it. They argued back and forth over it. Sami told the judge that Nicole was a killer. Victor was Sami’s surprise witness.

Xander and Philip continued arguing over who should run DiMera. Philip reminded him what he and Victor did to Brady. Xander reminded him how Victor gave the CEO position to Deimos to get it out of Philip’s hands. Brady told Marlena that he was staying in town for as long as John needed him. She asked about Kristen and he said she wanted to come back there. They talked about what she did to Victor, but he didn’t blame her for doing it. Sami began to question Victor, but Justin thought he didn’t have any knowledge of Deimos’ murder. He was talking about his murder. Marlena talked to Brady about Sami’s custody case with Nicole. Justin objected to Sami’s questioning because Victor was alive. Sami continued her questioning Victor and he told the judge how Nicole tried to kill him. Xander head butted Philip during their argument. Philip wanted to show him how he fights. Justin cross-examined him about the accusation. The judge listened and wanted to make her decision. Nicole told Sami she wasted her time having Victor there as if she would have hired Jan to help her. Victor saw Xander and Philip arguing and told them they were both going to be CEO’s of the company. Eric told Sami that Jan was still in a coma, but she corrected him. She told him she was awake and has been for a while. The judge returned with her verdict and said Sami didn’t have proof of her accusation so she was giving custody to Eric and Nicole. Sami interrupted her and told her that she wanted to present Jan Spears.

Victor said he should have told Adrienne she was a good mother. He said he was glad Sonny was working with his brothers to honor her. They talked about Victor visiting him before he left. When Sonny left the mansion, Xander showed up. Victor told him that Philip planned to take over the company. Xander becomes upset. Xander said he wasn’t giving up without a fight. Victor told him he hadn’t decided yet. He said he wanted to do what was best for the company. Will went to see Marlena. She said she needed him right now. He told her he and Sonny were leaving town. Sarah went to check on John. She told Marlena that the swelling didn’t go down as they hoped. She said they had to wait to wake him up. When Sarah left, Marlena talked to John. She told him that she missed him. She said she was feeling alone. Brady came in and told her that she wasn’t alone. Philip met with Kate. He told her what happened with Victor. Eduardo wanted Gabi and Rafe to go with him to save their lives. Gabi put up a fight until they talked to Dario. She realized what had to be done to keep her daughter safe. Gwen wasn’t happy that Jake was with Gabi. They ended up arguing. He decided that she had to move out. She wanted to stay there and was willing to work things out with him. Jake couldn’t do it. He gave her some money to go to a hotel and take a plane out of Salem. Gabi went to Will and Sonny to tell them they could take Arianna with them. She told them about the trouble Eduardo was in and she wanted to keep Arianna safe. Ben was upset when he saw Eve at the police station. He yelled at her for having him kill Ciara. She told him that she wanted him to feel the pain she felt. He told her to go after him. She only hoped Ciara was alive for Hope. Rafe arrived so Hope caught him up about Eve. Rafe told Eduardo that he would protect the family and he wanted him to get lost. Eduardo said he couldn’t do it this time. Sami told the judge that Nicole stabbed a knife in Deimos. The judge said it wasn’t solved. The wanted to know if Sami had any proof and she said she did. She told the judge about Nicole confessing to the murder. Nicole said she never told her why she was being blackmailed. The judge wanted to know if what Sami said was true. Justin tried to object, but the judge overruled it. Nicole stood up and denied the accusation. She said she didn’t kill Deimos and was making everything up. Sami wanted the judge to ask Eric. Eduardo said that the people already attacked someone Dario. He told Rafe that Gabi was already threatened. He wanted them to get Gabi out of Salem. Gabi and Jake talked about the heat between them and then they made love. Jake didn’t want Gwen to see them, but she walked in the room. Hope wanted Ben to tell what he did. He kept hearing Eve tell him to kill Ciara and her baby. Hope found Eve at the cemetery. She arrested her. Eduardo was in Rafe’s house. He wanted to know why Eduardo didn’t call. Hope took Eve to the interrogation room and talked to her about killing Ben. She didn’t want to kill Ben. She wanted to make sure he stayed alive and continued his work. Ben told Ciara he was the necktie killer and he wasn’t going to change. She begged him not to hurt her. He said Eve told him to kill her. The custody battle began. Sami’s inexperience as a lawyer showed in the courtroom. Eduardo told Rafe that he needed to go easy on Eve because of what happened with Paige. Rafe insisted that he was going to stop her. Eduardo wanted him to go with him. Eve admitted that she had Ben brainwashed to kill Ciara. Ben pushed Ciara into the bathroom and tried to kill her. The judge didn’t think that Allie’s letter was legal and binding. She did decide to give custody of the baby to Eric and Nicole.

Eduardo told Rafe that he had to get Gabi so they could see their mother. Hope couldn’t believe that Eve planned on having Ben kill Ciara. Eve said that she did it. She told her what things she put Ben through. She also mentioned what Vincent did to him. Hope tried to call Ciara, but Eve said she would be too late. He thought about kissing Hope. Hope brought up what happened to Zack to get Eve to tell her where to find Ben. Ben yelled for Ciara to go back in the bathroom and she begged him to call her mother. He threw the phone and tried to get in the bathroom. He broke the door and opened the lock. The judge wanted to know if Nicole could deny kidnapping Sami’s baby. Justin explained the circumstances. Paige advised her not to go through what she was doing. Belle didn’t believe that Sami said the horrible things she said that Sami told John. Eric was shocked she eavesdropped on Sami’s conversation. Sami told Justin that he shouldn’t go through with representing Eric and Nicole. He explained why he was doing it. Hope and Rafe continued to talk about the kiss and getting closer. Belle let Sami know that there was a chance that she could lose the baby. Hope and Rafe investigated Eve’s room, but didn’t find her in there. Rafe checked Vincent’s room and didn’t find him either. Hope checked the lamp and realized they just missed her. Eve went to the cemetery to see Paige. Nicole wanted Marlena to sign something to help her and Eric get custody of Allie’s baby. Marlena wasn’t able to think about that because of John. Eric took her to the chapel. Sami arrived at the hospital and ran into Nicole. They started arguing over the custody battle. Eric talked to Marlena about what Sami would say during the custody battle. They both wished that they knew where Allie was. Sami and Nicole continued to argue with each other when Eric saw them and broke it up. He told them that they would all lose custody of the baby if they keep fighting. He told her to go sit with Marlena. Eric and Nicole continued to talk about the case. He wanted to go see Belle to get the restraining order lifted.

Vincent told Eve that he gave Ben the final dosage. He assured her that Ben would destroy Ciara. She was happy about it. Ben wanted to surprise Ciara with a night she would never forget. She tried to justify what he did. Jack found out from a lead at the Salem PD that Eve was still on the loose. Jennifer hoped they would catch him. Kayla and Hope showed up at the Pub to meet them. They had news about John. Marlena was by John’s side waiting for him to wake up. Steve arrived and wanted to help her. She asked him to sit with John so she could cancel her appointments. Ciara went to Rafe and talked to him about whether there were any leads on Eve. She was afraid he wouldn’t be okay until she was caught. Eve had pictures of Paige and was listening to her song. Someone called her and she knew that they would do it that day. Ben went to see Marlena, but she told him what happened to John.

She said she could have been gone if he finished giving Ben the drug. Ben snuck up on Ciara after and she wanted to know what was wrong. He said nothing was wrong. She told him that the police couldn’t find Eve. She wanted to forget about Eve and go home. She put her scarf around her neck and they walked off. Vincent told Eve that he gave Ben enough of the drug that he would kill Ciara eventually. Eve was glad that he didn’t kill her yet. She thought it was fate that he didn’t kill her yet. She thought tomorrow would be the perfect day to kill her would be tomorrow. Ben told Ciara that he’s been feeling weird since he left Eve. He knew something bad was coming. Chad told Gwen that Jake closed the business deal. She warned him to get on Jake’s good side. Chad wanted her to talk Jake out of going out with the business partner. Gabi told Jake that Gwen kissed Chad. She told him to ask Gwen if he didn’t believe her. Will and Sonny arrived at the DiMera mansion to tell Gabi they were moving to Arizona. Eve wanted Ben to remember the day that he killed her the same way she had to remember when he killed Paige.

Gabi was happy for Sonny and Will until she found out that they wanted to take Arianna with her. They argued about what was best for Arianna. Chad and Gwen made Jake think that something was going on between them. He wanted Chad to keep his hands off of his girl. She was grateful that they were able to get through it. Shawn said that it was a while before he could say his name. Philip was at the Kiriakis mansion with Xander and Victor. He told her how he heard about her being on the force. Xander told Victor that he would be more loyal to the company than Brady. Victor didn’t want to lose Brady again by picking him. Sami and Nicole continued to argue over the baby. Eric told Sami that she didn’t read Allie’s note so she wanted to see it. Nicole told her that they have a lawyer. Sami was shocked they were suing her. Nicole told her she didn’t have a chance against her daughter and twin brother. Xander continued to figure out why Victor cared about getting Brady back in the company. He wanted Victor to call him, but he did it himself.

Victor asked Brady if he wanted to keep his job at Titan before he offered it to someone else. Shawn wanted details about Hope’s moment with Rafe. He said that she drifted so she told him that she was thinking a lot. Eric told Sami what Allie wrote in her letter. Sami told them about Allie’s behavior until they started arguing. John came in an interrupted their argument. Xander wanted to know what Brady had to say about the company. Shawn wanted answers from Hope about what’s going on with Rafe. She told him that she and Rafe should just be friends and he agreed with her. Victor told Xander that Brady didn’t want the job so he gave it to him. Nicole, Eric, and Sami told John why they were arguing. Sami thought Nicole forged the letter. Eric told John they wanted to deescalate the situation, but Sami was being impossible. John suggested that Eric and Nicole respect the restraining order for now. Sami thanked him for taking he side, but he said he was on their side. Xander was texting Sarah the news about his job when Philip walked in the room. Nicole apologized to Eric for the way their conversation with Sami ended. He blamed Sami for what happened. He wanted to stop her before she destroyed any more lives. Sami couldn’t believe John was on Eric and Nicole’s side because she’s the grandmother. Sami explained why she felt the way she did. John couldn’t believe she would use Belle to against her brother. He said they were calling Belle to get the restraining order lifted. He grabbed his head while Sami yelled at him and fell to the floor.

Eric and Nicole talked about how Sami would react to the idea of them having the baby. Nicole got the impression that Eric wasn’t sure if he wanted the baby. Lucas tried to comfort Sami about Allie. He let her know the baby would be coming out of the hospital soon. He was going to give the stroller to Eric and Nicole. She told him not to do it because Nicole wasn’t going to get her grandchild. Eric told Nicole that Sami would have a bunch of lawyers stop them from taking the baby. They continued to talk about it until Eric changed his mind. They were going to get the baby when Belle said she couldn’t let them do it. Bonnie went to the Kiriakis mansion and had a run in with Victor. He didn’t think Justin would represent her, but he showed up and confirmed it. Belle told Eric and Nicole that Allie didn’t ask them to raise the baby. She handed them a restraining order. Sami told Lucas she had Belle represent her and that she planned to take the baby with her. He told her she wasn’t doing that. Justin explained to Victor why Bonnie was there. Victor thought it was crazy that he wanted to represent her. Eric, Nicole, and Belle continued to argue about getting custody of Allie’s baby. Lucas told Sami she wasn’t taking the baby away from the family. She said she had to get back to EJ. He wanted to know who would raise the baby. She said she would make time for the baby. He blamed her for Allie’s situation. She didn’t like what he had to say so she slapped him.

Bonnie was grateful to Justin for his help. She gave him a gift for his help. Sami apologized for hitting Lucas. He reminded her that baby is his grandchild too. She wanted to know if Lucas wanted Eric and Nicole to raise the baby. He said he could raise the baby in Salem. Nicole realized that he would get hurt again if Allie came back or if the father showed up. Eric knew what Sami was up to so he changed his mind about taking the baby. Nicole was happy and had an idea what they could do next. Sami reminded Lucas why it would be wrong to let the baby stay at the DiMera mansion. He understood what she meant so he gave her another idea. He would be okay with her raising the child, but she had to do it in Salem. She said she didn’t live in Salem and had to take care of EJ. He said it was the final offer for her. Eric and Nicole went to Justin for help with the baby. He thought it would be easier if Allie signed something or was in town. Nicole wanted to know if they had any chance to win. Justin agreed to take the case, but couldn’t guarantee that he would win. Lucas and Sami decided that she would stay with Marlena and take care of the baby.
