Heather: Would she? Uh, it’s going to be morning when I land there?

Daniel: Well, then I guess it’s brownies for breakfast. I’ll tell her you said yes.

Heather: Okay. So, I guess I’ll be doing a brownie run before I head to the airport. But when I get back to Portugal, it shouldn’t take us too long to pack what we need.

Daniel: Well, it might not take you that long. Our daughter on the other hand.

Heather: Yes. Uh, it will be very difficult to convince Lucy she doesn’t need to bring every single book, stuffed animal, every single t-shirt. But I can just ship anything she wants later. You know, once we’re settled here.

Danny, Phyllis, and Lily have dinner with Daniel at his new place. Phyllis mentions how happy she is that Heather and Lucy are moving back to Genoa City. Daniel and Lily argue later because Daniel thinks Phyllis mentioned Heather to Lily because she wants to make Heather an issue in his and Lily’s relationship. Lily tells Daniel that she thinks Phyllis is just happy that Heather and Lucy are moving back to Genoa City. Lily tells Daniel that Heather won’t be an issue in their relationship unless he makes her an issue in their relationship. Danny tells Phyllis not to interfere in Daniel’s relationship with Lily.

Adam worries about Victor when he finds a piece of paper where Victor has written “Adam,” “Victoria,” and “Nicholas” over and over along with a drawing of a snake with fangs. Adam asks Nick if they can put their differences aside to help Victor with his illness. Nick tells Adam he will handle it and tells him to stay out of it. Adam later calls a doctor named Dr. Skelton and tells him he needs his help his father. Nick goes to the Newman ranch and demands that Victor come clean and tell the truth.

Christine returns from Portugal and runs into Danny at Crimson Lights.

Dante tries to persuade Cody to tell Mac that they are father and son. Cody doesn’t want to tell Mac the truth because Mac will be angry with him for not telling him the truth.

Laura has a talk with Charlotte hoping to get her to admit what she did to Anna, but Charlotte just tells Laura that she has missed her because she has felt lonely. Valentin tells Anna someone else has been targeting her on behalf of Victor.

Alexis tells the judge that sent Drew to Bentonville that, if he doesn’t commute Crew’s sentence, she will publish an article with the proof she has that he took a vacation with a senator and other influential people. Alexis later gets word the judge is reviewing Crew’s case.

Drew is taken from the hospital back to Pentonville.

Jamie tells Tucker that bringing Nate back to Chancellor-Winters is non-negotiable despite the fact that he warned her that Nate can’t be trusted. Jamie warns Tucker that he needs to keep his end of the bargain and get Jill out of Chancellor-Winters. Devon tells Tucker if he wants a relationship with him he needs to stop going after the Abbotts and admit that he has a connection to Aunt Mamie. Tucker keeps quiet about all that and doesn’t tell Devon the truth. Devon also advises Tucker that, if he loves Ashley, he has to be willing to give up everything he wants for her. Tucker sends Ashley a text message asking if they can talk, but she texts him back No.

Nikki thinks that Victor’s plan to make his children think he is sick is very cruel. Nikki thinks that Adam, Nick, and Victoria will find out the truth and be angry with him. Nikki tells Victor that his cruel plan to bring the family together will end up tearing their family apart.

Lois and Tracy argue because Lois is angry that Tracy forced Brook Lynn to betray Lucy and Maxie in order for her to gain control of Deception. Tracy tells Lois she bought controlling interest of Deception to give it to Brook Lynn so she can have a future. Lois insists that Brook Lynn will never accept the gift because she loves the music business.

Dante is put on administrative leave because he shot Mason to save Dex.

Curtis tells Portia he isn’t ready to make love to her yet even though the doctor told him he is physically able to make love to Portia. Dante, Dex, and Josslyn bring Ava to Carly’s house to see Avery. Dante, Dex, and Josslyn tell Carly Mason kidnapped Ava and how they rescued her.

Carly calls Sonny and gives him the details of Ava’s kidnapping. She also tells him Cyrus was released early from jail. Sonny heads home early from his honeymoon because he finally figures out that Cyrus is behind Pikeman.

Daniel rents an apartment downstairs from Lily’s place. Daniel offers his new guest room to Danny who has decided to stay in Genoa City longer than he originally planned.

Victor lets Nikki know that she shouldn’t worry about his memory loss because it is part of his plan to find out which one of his children will betray him. Nick tells Nikki that Victor forgot that Adam and Sally lost their baby. Nick tells Nikki and Victoria that they are going to figure out how to help Victor together. Victor yells at Adam in the middle of Society and tells him he is fired because he is tired of defending him to Nick and Victoria.

Adam has a business lunch with Nate and later Victor tells them he will see them both at the office. Adam talks to Nate about Victor’s meltdown. Nate isn’t worried about Victor, but he tells Adam they will keep an eye on him. Nick and Victoria try to talk to Victor about his memory loss, but Victor thinks that they are trying to stab him in the back. Victor yells at Nick and Victoria to get out of his office. Adam tries to talk to Nikki about his concerns about Victor, but she doesn’t listen to him because she thinks he isn’t concerned about Victor at all and that Adam is just thinking of a way that Victor possibly having memory problems can benefit him. Nikki tells Adam that she will be watching him.

Gregory tells Tracy that Finn can’t come to play backgammon with her because Violet has a cold.

Gregory thanks Tracy for telling Chase he has ALS. Gregory admits he is angry that he didn’t tell Chase about his condition. Gregory tells Tracy that his illness has taught him life is too short to be angry. Gregory takes Finn place in the backgammon game.

Chase meets Brook Lynn’s mom Lois. Lois tells Brook Lynn, Chase, and Eddie…Lois and Ned’s love story. Lois gets upset when Eddie apologizes to Lois for all the pain he caused her even though he doesn’t remember her.

Dex finds the warehouse in Pawtucket where Mason was holding Ava because Spinelli used his computer skills to help him. Ava isn’t in the warehouse because Mason has Ava sitting in a car waiting on orders from his boss Cyrus.

Austin tells Cyrus he testified so he could get released from Pentonville, so he needs to keep his end of the bargain and let Ava go. Austin tells Cyrus that Ava doesn’t know that he and Mason work for him. Cyrus calls Mason and orders him to take Ava home but he disobeys orders and takes Ava out of the car and drags her to the edge of the cliff but Dex arrives and shoots Mason. Ava gets away and grabs Dex’s gun which he dropped when he was fighting with Mason to keep Mason from escaping. Mason is choking Dex and is about to push him over the cliff but Ava shoots Mason and saves Dex. Dante arrives and Mason is taken to the hospital since he still has a pulse but is unconscious. Carly is upset that Drew has to go back to Pentonville.

Cyrus has just been released from Pentonville.

Mamie wonders if Nate would return to Chancellor-Winters if she manages to push Jill out of Chancellor- Winters. Nate tells Maime Jill will never leave the company because Chancellor-Winters is too important to her.

Phyllis tells Tucker to leave her alone because she is using Mamie and LBB Investments to have a stake in Chancellor-Winters. Tucker agrees to leave Phyllis alone for now. Audra arrives to see Tucker just before Phyllis leaves Tucker’s room and Phyllis wonders what Audra is doing visiting Tucker so late. Once Phyllis leaves, Audra tells Tucker that she wants to team up with him and that Kyle may betray his family and help him too.

Kyle overhears Jack tell Tracy that he thinks Kyle has made some bad decisions lately and he needs a reset so he should work his way up from the bottom at Jabot. Kyle sends a text message to Audra that he is in, but Tucker tells Audra to be careful because Kyle could be setting a trap for her.

Primetime TV Review: Raid the Cage

“Raid the Cage” Review on by Eva 10/16/2023

Raid the Cage is based on an Israeli game show that aired for four years on Israeli television. Damon Wagons, Jr. and Jeannie Mai host the show.

The show consists of two teams of two who answer trivia questions to get time inside a cage full of wonderful prizes. The contestants play four rounds of trivia. After each round, their teammate gets time inside the cage to grab whatever they can, but if time runs out, and they get stuck inside the cage, they lose all the prizes they have grabbed for that round. The team that grabs the most prizes after four rounds wins the game and goes to the bonus round where they must grab at least $50,000 in prizes so they can beat the cage.

I really enjoyed watching this show and was rooting for the contestants to win the game. The show gives really good prizes like really expensive vacations, Prada handbags and diamond rings. The show is really fun to watch.

Raid the Cage airs Fridays 9 pm Eastern/8 pm Central time and it is posted on Paramount+ on Saturday.

I give this show 5 out of 5 stars

Chloe: Come on, you’re clearly going through something and I want to help if I can.

[ Sally inhales ]

Sally: Oh, this reminds me of when I was in like, seventh or eighth grade and I was madly in love with these two really cute boys at the exact same time.

Chloe: Well, we were all really confused as kids.

Sally: Yeah, but I wasn’t confused, I knew that I loved them both.

Sally: Yeah, apparently, when you’re a grown up, you’re supposed to know your heart well enough to know who’s going to make you happy for the long haul and try not to hold on to them both.

Kyle tells Audra he doesn’t want to form an alliance with her and Tucker to take over Jabot. Kyle is conflicted about whether he should tell Jack what Tucker is planning. Billy tells Jack they should release the information they have about Tucker and the scandal with the singer on his music label to show him that he shouldn’t go after Jabot.

Phyllis tells Daniel and Summer that she hacked into Tucker’s computer for Jack and found out he bought a listening device and an app. Phyllis doesn’t tell Daniel and Summer that she also did some hacking for Tucker to frame Billy for stealing money from Jabot. Phyllis tells Tucker that while she was hacking into his computer for Jack she came across some information that shows he and Jamie are business partners. Phyllis wonders how they should proceed if he doesn’t want Devon, Jill, and Lily to find out his secret.

Primetime TV Review: Frasier

“Frasier” Review on by Eva 10/13/2023

Fraiser was always one of my favorite television characters since he first appeared on Cheers. I still watch reruns of the original show and, even though I know what is going to happen, it will always make me laugh. I was happy to know that Paramount+ was bringing back the show. This time Frasier returns to Boston to guest lecture at Harvard and to visit his son Freddie (Jack Cutmore-Scott) because he didn’t go to his grandpa Martin’s funeral. Freddie dropped out of Harvard because he wanted to become a fireman. Fraiser decides to move back to Boston to get to know Freddie better and he buys the building where Freddie lives and tells his son that if he lives with him he doesn’t have to pay rent.

The show is very funny and made me laugh right away. My favorite of the new characters on this show is Fraser’s best friend and fellow professor Alan Cornwall (Nicholas Lyndhurst) who is very funny and the chemistry between him and Fraser is wonderful. The entire cast is very funny and the show is well written.

If you enjoyed the original Frasier you will enjoy this show. Paramount+ posted the first two episodes of the show on October 12, 2023 and new episodes will be posted on Thursdays.

I give this show 5 out of 5 stars.

Austin is forced to lie to a judge and tell him that Cyrus is in frail health because of his heart attack and is no longer a threat to society. Austin then calls Mason to tell him to let Ava go. Mason tells him that he can’t let Ava go until the boss tells him to do it. Avery’s nanny Pilar tells Dex and Josslyn that she is worried because Ava hasn’t returned her text messages. Dex sends a text to Michael telling him that Ava is missing but he is going to find her so he shouldn’t worry Sonny on his wedding day. Dex and Josslynn begin to search for Ava.

Willow has another dream where Harmony tells her she has something very important to tell her for her protection. Wiley awakens Willow before Harmony can tell her anything.

Sonny and Nina’s wedding begins with Michael as best man and Kristina and Willow as bridesmaids. Donna is the flower girl and Wiley is the ring bearer.

Josslyn goes to Wyndemere to interview Ava’s butler. Josslyn finds Ava’s cellphone and a grape lollipop under the coffee table. Ava’s butler gives Dex and Josslynn the footage from Ava’s security camera. The footage is blurry so Dex and Josslynn take the footage to Spinelli who also hacks into the harbor security camera. Dex is able to see that Mason took Ava in a truck. Spinelli thinks Ava might be inside a warehouse near the harbor.

Mrs. Wu continues to put pressure on Curtis to sell the Savoy to her, but Aunt Stella throws Mrs. Wu out of the house.

Cyrus tells Laura he might get an early release due to his health. Cyrus tells Laura he is jealous of Sonny because the people in Port Charles respect Sonny although everyone knows he is in the mob.

Sonny and Nina exchange wedding vows.

Michael gets a call from his contact at the SEC and finds out Nina turned Carly and Drew into the SEC.

Cyrus is released from prison and is ready to continue going after Sonny.

Billy: Yeah. No, it was a very lovely ceremony.

Traci: Yeah. And for Kyle to be the one to pronounce them husband and wife is just, I mean, how awesome is that? Billy. Billy!

Billy: What? Yeah.

Traci: Do you figure if you stare at that long enough you’re gonna– you’re gonna be able to tell what’s inside?

Billy: I’m not just staring at it. I mean, are you not curious about what’s inside here?

Traci: No, I don’t care one little bit what sick idea of a wedding gift Tucker McCall has given them. And jack doesn’t care either, which is why he’s told us to ignore it and throw it out. So, what are we waiting for?

Traci: I don’t follow you.

Billy: Well, uh, this wedding gift, whatever this is, could be insight into what tucker’s thinking. Right? I mean, [ Sighs ] He loves to believe that he’s more clever than everyone else. Like a riddle from The Riddler.

Traci: Or it could be just some– something hateful and despicable that he’s aiming at Ashley and the Abbotts specifically.

Billy: Uh-huh.

Traci: Or it could be a blender.

[ Laughs ] Oh, I don’t care. Why are you obsessing about this, Billy? Come on. Let’s just take it to the trash, open up the lid and put it in there.

Billy: Hm. Okay. Fine.

[ Billy exhaling ] To hell with it.

Traci: Oh, Billy, what are you doing?

Billy: No, I’m just satisfying my curiosity.

Traci: Come on, Jack said that–

Billy: I know what Jack said. He said, get rid of it and I will. I just want to see what’s inside first and we’ll start with the card. “May this symbol of harmony, balance, and patience bring those elements to your new life as husband and wife.” That’s very sweet. It rhymes. Okay.

[ Traci sighing ]

Traci: Hm. I guess that’s it, huh?

Billy: Hm.

Traci: No evil dolls or exploding clocks.

[ Traci laughing ] I hope you’re satisfied.

Sally: You know, I think the key is to generate word of mouth and get some jobs under my belt before we bring in a marketing team. Get some photos out there, maybe some media content. People love before and after. What do you think about hiring me to design your offices for your new company with Sharon?

Nick: Hundred percent.

Sally: We could feature the empty space and then the concept stage and then the final product. Offer interviews for everyone and it’ll be really good for your company and mine.

Nick: Yep.

Sally: Should I go would you prefer hot pink?

Nick: Yes.

Sally: You’re not actually hearing any of the words I’m saying, are you?

Nick: What do you mean?

Sally: Have you been listening to anything I’ve said?

Nick: Yeah, you were, uh, talking about, um, something pink.

Sally: Nick.

Nick: You’re right. I’m sorry. I’m trying to concentrate, uh, but I can’t stop thinking about something else.

Sally: I bet I can guess. What happened between me and adam? You haven’t been the same since you found out about the kiss.

Victor tells Nikki that he called Adam Nikolas as a joke. Victor also tells Nikki that he thinks Adam, Victoria, or Nate is going to stab him in the back and he needs to keep an eye on them. Victor tells Nikki that he trusts her and she shouldn’t worry because he won’t let anyone take the company away from him.

Nick tells Adam to stay away from him and whatever relationship they had has ended.

Chloe persuades Sally to do whatever she has to do to get back together with Nick.

Victoria talks to Nick about their father’s health, but he thinks she is just upset because Victor demoted her. Nick advises Victoria to let this go and do her job or walk away. Nick decides to go to the gym and hit the punching bag. Victor arrives and wonders if Nick needs to talk.

Sharon advises Adam to let Nick and Sally work out their problems and not insert himself in between them.

Lois returns to Port Charles to visit Brook Lynn. Brook Lynn tells Lois everything Tracy made her do. Brook Lynn and Olivia persuade Lois to stay at the Quartermaine mansion although Lois doesn’t get along with Tracy. Eddie sees Lois and remembers her from somewhere, but he can’t remember why she is so familiar to him.

Phyllis is upset that Danny has feelings for Christine, but Danny tells her that he wants Christine to be happy.

Lily tells Devon and Abby that Jill has gone to investigate Mamie’s investment company. Devon tells Lily that he can’t shake the feeling that Tucker is up to something, and he is going to find out what Tucker is planning because he won’t let him destroy his company or his family.

Kyle tells Diane he wants his old job back. He just has to figure out how to make that happen. Audra tells Tucker that Kyle wants his old job back and he is trying to figure out how to get Billy out.

Phyllis tells Jack she hacked into Tucker’s computer and found out he purchased a listening device along with its corresponding app. Jack goes home and finds the listening device inside the plant and explains to Diane and Kyle that Tucker hid a listening device inside the plant. Jack tells Diane and Kyle they are going to use the listening device to their advantage.
