Drew and Carly awaken from a romantic New Years Eve together and Carly can’t believe he is home from Australia. Drew tells Carly that he decided to come home early because he lost patience with the way the deal negotiations were going with this company he wants to buy so he left his team to close the deal. Carly thinks Drew isn’t acting like himself and he explains to Carly that he had a lot of the time to think while he was in prison. Drew tells Carly that he has fallen into the role of peacemaker for the Quartermaine family and he has never felt comfortable in that role.

Scout wakes up and tells Sam (temporarily being played by Lindsay Hartly) that she had a nightmare about going to her new school and she tells Sam and Dante she doesn’t want to go to the new school. Sam tells Scout she doesn’t have to go to the new school and sends her back to bed. Dante and Sam have a talk. Sam decides that she did the right thing by not forcing Scout to go to the new school. She will tell Drew, but she worries about telling him because she thinks he has changed since he got out of prison.

Lois tells Sonny that his family knew who turned Drew and Carly into the SEC. Ned tells Sonny he was not the informant and Michael asked him to keep it a secret to keep peace in the family. Michael tells Sonny he kept it a secret because he loves him and he didn’t want to hurt him and Willow. Michael asks Sonny to let this go because everyone is happy. Sonny tells Michael he wants to know so Michael blurts out that the informant was Nina just as Nina and Willow walk into the Savoy.

Olivia and Lois have a huge argument because Lois had no right to tell Sonny the truth. Lois worries that because she opened her mouth she may have lost her best friend.

Carly gets a call from the Amsterdam Embassy and the person on the phone tells her Bobbie has died.

Spencer finds out that Trina has been accepted into an art program at the Sorbonne in Paris and he accepts Trina’s invitation to go with her to Paris.

Esme goes to the prison to visit her mom Heather. Heather figures out that Esme has her memory back and advises her not to tell anyone for Ava’s sake. Esme goes to the waterfront to watch the fireworks and sees Spencer and Trina watching the fireworks together and doesn’t look happy to see them together.

Alexis and Gregory skydive together even though Alexis is very nervous about jumping out of a plane. When they finish the dive Alexis is glad she did it because it was beautiful to see Port Charles from the sky. Gregory kisses Alexis and then they watch the fireworks together.

Michael and Carly spend New Years Eve at the Savoy together and Ned and Carly argue because Carly wants to know why he turned her and Drew into the SEC. Ned almost tells Carly the truth but Michael stops him from doing it by reminding him about the ELQ shares he gave him.

Lois and Olivia are also at the Savoy and Lois figures out Nina turned Carly and Drew into the SEC. Olivia begs Lois not to say anything in order to keep peace in the family. Lois decides Sonny needs to know and she tells Sonny his family has been lying to him.

Cyrus tells Nina if she doesn’t tell Sonny the truth he will do it. Cyrus and Nina have a long talk and Nina decides that she should be the one to tell Sonny the truth.

Alexis and Sonny have a talk about their concern that Kristina may not be able to be so close to her biological child and allow Molly and TJ to raise the child. Alexis tells Sonny that she is scared that Kristina may change her mind and decide to keep the baby and not give the baby to Molly and TJ. Sonny and Alexis decide to step back and trust that Molly and Kristina know what they are doing and everything will be okay. TJ has a talk with Kristina because he needs to hear her say she will be comfortable being the aunt to her biological child. Kristina assures TJ that she doesn’t want children right now, because after she gives birth to the baby, she is going to concentrate on running the youth center. Kristina assures TJ she will be happy being the baby’s cool aunt.

Lucy and Scott begin their plan to take Tracy’s money by pretending to argue backstage of the Home and Heart channel before Sasha and Cody’s, appearance. Scott takes Tracy’s side in the argument and Lucy fires Scott as the lawyer for Deception.

Olivia tells Lois that Ned was not the person who turned Drew and Carly into the SEC but, she and Ned have decided to keep the identity of the person a secret in order to keep peace in the family.

Elizabeth helps Finn talk through his treatment of Mr. Muldoon and he remembers that Mr. Muldoon told him he had a second house in Beacher’s Corners and sometimes went to the doctor when he was there. Elizabeth calls some nurses she knows in Beacher’s Corners and finds out Mr. Muldoon saw a doctor their before he came to the hospital and saw him.

Felicia takes strands of Cody’s hair from the hairbrush the hairstylist used to comb his hair before his Home and Heart appearance. Sasha sees Felicia give the hair sample to a messenger and ask the person to take the sample to the hospital lab and tell them to put a rush on a DNA test.

Maxie (temporarily being played by Nicole Paggu) has a tough time running a meeting with Lucy and Tracy when they argue. Lucy thinks Tracy bought Deception because she is lonely since Luke died. Brook Lynn defends Tracy and Lucy stomps out of the meeting. Lucy tells Scott he is going to marry Tracy so they can take everything she has away from her.

Brook Lynn tells Chase Gregory asked her not to wait too long to get married because he wants to be at their wedding.

Finn is notified that his dad is in the hospital. Gregory tells Finn that he got dehydrated during his hot yoga class. The yoga instructor who came with Gregory tells Finn Gregory collapsed and was unconscious for a few minutes. Gregory’s doctor tells him he has to run tests to find out if his collapse is a symptom of his ALS. Chase tells Gregory that he and Brook Lynn will get married in the spring.

Alexis tells Molly that genetic surrogacy isn’t enforceable in the state of New York so Molly will need to adopt the baby after Kristina gives birth. Kristina and Molly tell Alexis they will look into it but they trust each other because they are sisters and nothing will come between them.

Sasha advises Cody to tell Felicia he is Mac’s son because she is investigating and will find out the truth. Cody tells Sasha he could go to jail for perjury since he signed an affidavit claiming to be the son of Leopold Taub when he was going to sue the WSB. Sasha tells Cody she will support him no matter what he decides to do.

Scott tells Felicia he is upset with Cody since he dropped the lawsuit against the WSB and Cody never got the expensive necklace that belonged to Leopold Taub. Felicia tells Robert she is very sure Cody is Mac’s son and she is going to prove it.

Laura wonders why Bobbie hasn’t come home from Amsterdam but Carly tells Laura she spoke to her mom on the phone and Bobbie told her that Luke’s affairs are a mess but she is making headway.

Nina is at All Saints church. Nina thinks she is giving her confession to the priest she met earlier but the priest has been delayed. Cyrus sees Nina waiting for confessional and he takes the place of the priest and tells Nina he is ready to hear her confession. Nina tells Cyrus the SEC secret to Cyrus and he advises her to tell the truth so she can be free. Once Nina leaves the church, Cyrus decides that if Nina doesn’t tell the truth he will have to tell the truth for her. Nina heads to the hospital determined to tell Carly the truth. Nina apologizes to Carly because she blamed her for Bella’s death. Nina also apologizes to Carly because she didn’t tell her that Sonny had amnesia and was living in Nixon Falls. Nina is about to tell Carly that she was the one who turned her and Drew into the SEC, but Carly stops her and tells her she isn’t going to give her the gift of forgiveness because she has taken everything from her and she isn’t going to get forgiveness too.

Esme calls Spencer to tell him that her memory has returned but decides not to do it when she hears Trina talking to Spencer and decides not to tell Spencer the truth. Esme manages to get out of Windermere but she leaves behind one of her gloves and the glove is found by Dante and Laura. Esme goes to her dad Kevin’s grave to tell him that her memory has returned and she is not going to tell anyone because she likes her new life.

Sonny tells Ava she is moving in with him and Nina so he can protect her until they figure out who is stalking her.

Molly and TJ accept Kristina’s offer to be their egg donor as well as their surrogate, so they don’t have to wait six months to try to have a baby.

Adam gets angry with Josslyn when she offers to use her travel fund her dad set up for her to buy him a plane ticket to go see his parents for Christmas. Adam yells that the atmosphere at home is too aggressive and he doesn’t want to go home. Adam leaves Carl’s house before having dinner.

The Ashford family spends time with Curtis’ mom Irene before heading to the hospital for the children’s Christmas party.

Brook Lynn agrees not to wait too long for her wedding to Chase because Gregory wants to be there to see his son marry the love of his life.

Esme drops off Ace at Spencer and Laura’s place and then goes over to Wyndamere. Esme breaks into the mansion and memories of being held captive by Nikolas come rushing back to her mind. Esme also remembers arguing with Spencer and Trina about Cameron and Josslyn’s sex video.

Finn and Laura read Twas the Night Before Christmas to the kids at the hospital.

Nina lights a candle to remember Nell and then decides to confess her sins to the priest after she lights the candle.

Michael gives Ned half his ELQ shares so he won’t tell Sonny and Willow Nina turned Drew and Carly into the SEC. Michael later tells Nina that he took care of Ned for Sonny and Willow’s sake.

Nina tells Sonny someone is threatening Ava. Sonny tells Ava to tell him everything, so Ava tells him about the anonymous notes and the gun someone left at her apartment. Sonny tells Ava to bring him the gun tomorrow so Brick can run a trace on the gun. Spinelli calls a truce with Cody for Maxie’s sake, but he makes it clear to Cody he will be watching him to make sure he doesn’t hurt Maxie or her family.

Felicia tells Maxie and Sasha that she can’t stop thinking about the DNA test Cody and Mac took because she thinks Cody is hiding something that has to do with the test.

Molly and TJ tell Kristina that it might take them six months to find an egg donor for the surrogacy. Kristina offers to be the egg donor as well as the surrogate for Molly and TJ.

Josslyn (temporarily played by Courtney Fulk) invites Adam to spend Christmas Eve with her at Carly’s house since she doesn’t want him to spend Christmas Eve alone.

Curtis tells his family he might be admitted into a trial procedure that might help him walk again.

Spencer tells Portia he never knew what love was until he met Trina who makes him a better person. Portia asks Spencer to stay and make Christmas ornaments with them and then hang them on the tree.

Violet tells Jake she overheard her daddy and Uncle Chase talking and she thinks her daddy is going, away. Jake takes Violet to talk to Finn who explains to Violet that he isn’t going away. Finn tells Violet he has to go to court because people think he made a mistake, but he did nothing wrong. Finn assures Violet he will not go away.

Anna and Valentin break up due to circumstances beyond their control even though they still love each other.

Kevin overhears Charlotte talking to herself saying that she is proud of her wound that she got protecting her family. Charlotte wears a necklace that Victor left for her that belonged to Helena. Kevin tells Laura about Charlotte’s necklace and what he heard her say to herself.

Spinelli tells Maxie that a pipe burst in his apartment and it is flooded. Maxie tells Spinelli he can move into the guest room until his apartment is fixed. Spinelli persuades Maxie tell him pay rent. Maxie leaves to go fix the guest room. Felicia thanks Spinelli for going along with her plan to help Maxie get some extra money without making her feel like she is taking charity.

Donna persuades Sonny to invite Ava to spend Christmas with them so she and Avery can open their presents together.

Brook Lynn tells Ned she intends to work at Deception until she can find a way to give the company back to Maxie and Lucy.

Nina tells Michael that Ned wants information about Aurora or he will tell Sonny she was the one who turned Carly and Drew into the SEC. Michael tells Nina he will handle Ned because he doesn’t want Sonny or Willow to find out what she did to Drew and Carly.

Carly sees a picture of John Brennan Sam is holding and Sam tells Carly he is the head of the WSB and Dante is investigating him. Carly says he has been coming to Kelly’s for a few days. Sam calls Dante to warn him John Brennan is in town. The warning from Sam helps Dante and Anna capture John Brennan’s henchman Hume after he
tries to shoot them. Dante tells Sam to call the police and Sam tells Dante she thinks Brennan is at Kelly’s. Dante Anna, Sam, and the police arrive to arrest Brennan who intended to shoot Carly because she knew his identity.

Brooke Lynn tells Maxie she is coming back to work at Deception so she can give control of the company back to her because she doesn’t think Lucy should run the company. Lucy doesn’t want Brook Lynn back at the company but since Tracy wants Brook Lynn to work at the company Lucy has no choice in the matter.

Sasha gives Cody a picture of Monument Valley as a Christmas present since they will be doing a photo shoot there. Cody tells Sasha he ordered her present and it is guaranteed to be there before Christmas so she will have to wait. Cody once again tells Sasha he is fine waiting until she is ready to have a romantic relationship and if she just wants to be friends that is okay too.

Robert promises Diane that he will make her his priority over Anna and Holly should they need him. Robert and Diane decide to make their relationship exclusive after a great night together at Diane’s place.

Kristina tells Blaze she is going to be Molly and TJ’s surrogate and get her support.

Laura asks Sonny if he thinks that Cyrus killed Austin. Sonny tells Laura that Cyrus thought Austin was an asset to him since Austin got him out of jail. Sonny also thinks Cyrus wouldn’t risk going back to jail in order to kill Austin.

Donna goes Christmas shopping with her brother Michael and she wishes on a star that she could find her grandpa Mike’s cap to give to Sonny for Christmas. Donna finds Mike’s cap sitting on a bench and she happily tells Michael her wish came true. Donna gives the cap to Sonny and tells him she found the cap after she wished on a star.

Carly advises Ava that if she is in trouble because of Austin, she should tell Sonny so he can help her get out of trouble.

Kristina tells Sonny she is going to be Molly and TJ’s surrogate and he advises her to find some time for herself in between her two jobs and being Molly and TJ’s surrogate.

TJ tells his Aunt Stella that he is worried Kristina won’t follow through with her commitment to him and Molly. Aunt Stella tells TJ to trust the sisterly bond that Molly and Kristina have and know that Kristina would never break Molly’s heart.

Monica and Tracy listen to Finn’s course of treatment for Mr. Muldoon and they both agree that Finn did nothing wrong when he treated Mr. Muldoon. Monica and Tracy are going to recommend to the hospital board that they not give a separate settlement to the Muldoon family and back Finn in the malpractice suit. The hospital lawyer wants to say that Finn acted without the knowledge of the hospital. Monica tells the lawyer to find another approach to defend the hospital.

Sonny tells Stella he wants to provide all the money that is needed to celebrate Christmas for the patients of the hospital. Sonny tells Stella he wants to do this in memory of his father Mike because he loved Christmas.

Ava gets another note that says “Don’t tell anyone” and later Ava tells Nina she thinks Nikolas killed Austin to frame her for Austin’s murder.

Mr. Brennan gets to know Carly when he sees her and Donna at the park.

Dante tells Sam he found the report that was taken from Anna. Dante shows Sam a sheet of paper full of numbers. Sam and Dante try and figure out the meaning of the numbers.

Trina and Josslyn see Adam playing guitar in the hallway of the dorm and they ask him to play a song for them. Trina and Josslyn invite Adam to lunch and he tells them that he taught himself to play the guitar. Trina and Josslyn think Adam should switch his major to music, but Adam tells them he has to be a doctor.

Kristina and Molly tell Alexis that Kristina is going to be Molly and TJ’s surrogate. Alexis worries that Kristina doesn’t know how serious a commitment this is for her, but she gives her blessing and support to both her daughters.
