Steve told Kayla he wasn’t going to Jack and Jennifer’s party because of Tripp. He didn’t think he should be around Lucas since he thought Tripp assaulted Allie. Kayla told him how he needed to accept the fact that Tripp raped Allie. Abby noticed Kate had a letter from her father. She was confused by it so Gwen urged her to read the letter. Allie read it and something caught her by surprise. Steve wondered if Kayla was mad at him for believing his son. She thought he should stop being in denial when the test proved he was the father. She didn’t like the fact that he was basically called Allie a liar. She wanted him to admit that Tripp raped Allie because it was insulting to everyone who was raped including her. Kate wanted Jake to go to the party with her, but he didn’t think he should go. He didn’t want to ruin things for everyone there. She convinced him to go with her.

Abby couldn’t believe Jack wrote the letter to Kate. Gwen said she felt guilty for making her read it. Chad showed up and told her how her parents went to the party. He noticed something was wrong with her. Jack tried to talk to Steve at the party, but he didn’t want to talk about Tripp. Jack told him how he was qualified to talk to him about the situation. Steve wanted everyone to know the truth about what happened. Kayla admitted to Jennifer that she didn’t know if she and Steve could get through what Tripp did. Abby wasn’t sure if she could go to the party anymore. Gwen wanted her to go to the party.

Jack talked to Justin about the party. He mentioned how the day was special to him and Adrienne too. Justin understood because he wouldn’t be the life of the party. Jack thought there was another reason. Jennifer was that Bonnie told her how Justin forgave her for everything. She reminded Bonnie about the things she did. She didn’t want her to get her hopes up about anything happening with Justin. JJ surprised Abby when he was back for the party. JJ thanked Gwen for getting him back to Salem. Gwen walked out of the room. She was ready to give Abby a real surprise. Chad wanted to invite Kate to the party, but she tried to get out of it. Jake bailed Ben out of jail and offered his place to her. Ben said he would think of Ciara regardless of where he was living. Abby was grateful that the family was getting their lives back together. Justin wanted to know what Jack meant by his comment. He said Steve and Kayla would have been at the party. Justin told him how he forgave Bonnie and wondered how Adrienne would feel about that. Bonnie told Jennifer how Justin forgave her because she gave her royalties to Sonny’s program. Jack was upset that Justin forgave Bonnie after everything she did. Justin was tired of being angry all of the time because it wouldn’t bring Adrienne back to him. Ben told Jake about what happened with Vincent. He was convinced Vincent wanted him to think Ciara was gone.

Chad went back to the mansion and was surprised to see JJ. Abby wanted Chad to help JJ get ready, but he wanted to talk to Abby first. Jake offered Ben his job back at the garage to help him out. Ben thought it was a good idea. Abby wasn’t happy that Chad invited Kate to the party. She reminded him how her parents didn’t like her, but he convinced her it would be fine. She gave in to Chad. Gwen went to Kate’s room to check something in her box. Jake and Kate ran into each other in the town square. They talked about the party Gwen planned for Jack and Jennifer. Gwen hid Abby’s shoes under the couch. Abby told her how her shoes were missing and she suggested going to Kate’s room to get a pair. Justin ran into Bonnie. She offered to have a beer with him, but he wasn’t interested. He was willing to meet her another time. Kate invited Jake to the party. JJ surprised his parents. He told them how Gwen arranged for him to be there. Gwen went to Kate’s room to get the shoes. Gwen dropped Kate’s letters and Abby picked one up. She was upset about.

Tripp told Steve he couldn’t be Henry’s father. He said the results had to be wrong. They talked about Kayla doing the test again. Steve said Allie could have learned how to switch DNA from Sami. Kayla said she ran the test three times and they all came back positive. She said he and Henry matched. She said only the baby’s father could match like that. Tripp defended himself to Kayla. She said the tests didn’t lie. He asked if she was saying that he lied. He denied being with Allie. Kayla said she wanted to believe him. Tripp asked Steve if he believed he was a rapist. Steve told him to look in his eye and swear he was telling the truth. He did it. Steve said they would find out what was going on. Tripp wanted to know how they were going to fix it. Steve told him he was his father and would get to the bottom of it. Allie told Nicole about the DNA test. Allie said Tripp was a match for Henry. Nicole wanted to know why Allie looked upset. Allie said Tripp wanted Kayla to run the results again. She said she couldn’t understand why he kept saying he was innocent when the test proved that he wasn’t. Kayla called Allie and asked her to come to the hospital.

Eli went to see Brady to talk. They went back and forth over what Eli did to Kristen. Eli wanted to make sure Brady kept his promise not to tell Lani what he did. Brady said he had nothing to lose and thought Lani deserved to know what he did to her best friend. Lani showed up. Eli begged him not to tell Lani the truth. Brady let Lani inside. She wondered why Eli was there. Brady told Lani Eli wanted to check on him. Eli said he wasn’t feeling well. She helped Eli leave the room. She told Brady to give Kristen her love. Brady was upset when they left. Brady told Kristen’s picture that he was going to make Eli pay by exposing him. Allie and Nicole went to see Kayla at the hospital. Kayla said the new test results proved she was right about Tripp being Henry’s father. Kayla wanted to know what she wanted to do. Nicole told Allie that she would support her. Allie was talking to Tripp and didn’t understand what he was trying to deny what he did. She also didn’t understand why he would agree to submit to a DNA test to prove his guilt. He denied that he agreed to the test. She told him how Kayla got the test results. He realized that no one believed him. He said Kayla wasn’t getting away with what she did. Vincent told Shawn and Ben how Ciara asked for mercy when he was going to kill her. He thought about what Ben did to Wendy and shot her. Chad and Abby talked about how Hope left town to look for Ciara. She admitted that she felt sorry for Ben. Chad was surprised after what he did to her. Jake overheard Gwen talking on the phone and she admitted she was planning a surprise for Jack and Jennifer. She thought he was obsessed with her. He said he didn’t care about her. He was worried about Abby. Shawn and Ben were at the station. Ben thought Vincent was going to tell them Ciara was alive. He was about to leave, but Shawn said he had to arrest him. Kayla called Allie to tell her about the test results. Steve ran into Tripp so he could tell him something, but he beat him to it. Steve said he wanted to tell him the truth himself. He wanted to know how she did it. Steve admitted it was his idea for her to test his toothbrush. Trip was surprised he did that because he thought he believed him. He said he did believe him. He wanted to prove he was telling the truth. Allie arrived at the hospital to see the test results. Kayla admitted that Tripp didn’t know about the test. Allie told her how Tripp knew about it. Gwen told Jake how Abby trusted her. He called her out for her fake behavior. Gwen thought he was in love with Abby.

 

Shawn told Ben what he did for why he had to get arrested. He was okay with it. Shawn read him his rights. Steve apologized for not telling Tripp the truth. He wanted to know when the results would be ready. He said Kayla had them. Allie wanted to know if Kayla believed him. She didn’t give her an answer. She didn’t think there was a point to ask family to pick sides. Kayla wanted to wait for the test results. Abby talked to Chad about Rolf’s plan to clone Stefano. He was surprised Rolf would do that. Abby let him know that Gwen was going above and beyond for them. Gwen and Jake argued about whether he wanted to sleep with Abby. Kate overheard him talking about not wanting to sleep with Abby or Gwen. Tripp and Steve arrived at the hospital. He and Allie wanted to find out the test results. Ben apologized to Shawn for the way he spoke to him when he was grieving Ciara’s death too. Shawn talked to him about what Ciara meant to him. He knew Ben and Ciara loved each other. He didn’t know how to live without her because she was everything to him. Kayla told Tripp that he was the father of the baby. Shawn advised Ben to keep going with his life because Ciara would want it. Kate wanted to know what Jake meant by wanting to sleep with someone else at the mansion. Ben pointed the gun at Vincent to get him to admit whether he killed Ciara. Vincent told him to he killed Ciara the same way he killed Wendy. Ben told him that he was going to put a few bullets in him. He called Ben’s bluff and told him to do it. Steve and Kayla noticed how John and Marlena didn’t sit with them. John showed up while they were talking. He wanted to apologize for trying to hit Steve. Steve understood and was glad he came to his senses. John got offended by that because he still thought Tripp was guilty of raping his granddaughter. Shawn was at the cemetery to say goodbye to Ciara when Tripp showed up. Shawn wondered why he was at the cemetery. Tripp told him that he wanted to pay his respects, but he wanted to wait until everyone left. Shawn didn’t understand why he didn’t go to the church. He said the situation with Allie was why he didn’t go. Steve told John how Allie was drunk when the rape happened so she didn’t know for a fact that Tripp raped her. John was about to yell at him when Kayla stopped them from arguing. Vincent told Ben he didn’t have it in him anymore to kill. He reminded him how he couldn’t kill Ciara or Eli. Eli wanted to get out of the hospital to stop Ben. He couldn’t forgive himself if Ben killed Vincent on his watch. He tried to get out of bed, but he fell on the floor.

Kayla continued to tell John and Steve that they should be mourning Ciara. Steve agreed with her and wanted to go with John to the pub. Steve thought they would have the proof they need that Tripp was innocent. John wanted to know what proof he meant. Ben said that he loved Ciara because he loved her and didn’t kill Eli because he was innocent. He had no problem killing because he killed before. Vincent knew he wasn’t going to die at his hands. Ben said he had no problem putting a bullet in his head. Steve and Kayla told John how they got a DNA test done to prove whether Tripp raped Allie. Steve wanted him to accept that Tripp was innocent. John said there was nothing to accept because he believed Allie. He said they would be disappointed and would find out what type of man Tripp really is. Lani told Eli he was talking in his sleep. He said he was sorry for something. Vincent told Ben he changed and wasn’t a killer anymore. He said Ciara was the reason why he changed. He told Vincent he changed his life when he took his wife. He said there was nothing left for him, but pain. Ben was about to shoot Vincent when he said he was holding out on him and there was more to the story. Steve wanted John to give Tripp the benefit of the doubt. She reminded him how they did the test behind his back and knew he would be mad about it. Steve agreed that Tripp deserved to know the truth. Vincent was about to tell Ben about Ciara when Shawn showed up. He demanded that Ben put down the gun. Eli said he was talking about Ben in his sleep, but Lani told him how he mentioned Kristen. He said he felt guilty for arresting Kristen. Lani felt like she was hiding something for why she changed her plea. Ben told Shawn that Vincent was about to tell him what happened to Ciara.

Jennifer and Jack went to Hope’s place to get her for the memorial. They had trouble finding her and then she found the note she left for her. Claire was upset that things didn’t go well at the memorial. Julie tried to make her feel better about what happened. Claire wanted to do something for Ciara since she tried to kill her. Ben was determined to make sure Vincent didn’t make it to his arraignment. Jennifer read Hope’s letter to Jack. Hope mentioned not being able to go to the memorial service. Lani didn’t understand why Kristen confessed to what she did. She wanted to know if she did it on her own. Brady went to Eli and blamed him for why Kristen changed her plea. Eli said that Kristen deserved to pay for her crimes. Brady advised him to pray that Lani would understand how he tricked her best friend into a confession. Eli wanted to know if Brady was going to tell Lani what he did. Brady told him that he wouldn’t tell Lani the truth because of Kristen. Lani couldn’t believe Kristen didn’t fight back. Kristen didn’t want her to get upset over what happened. She assured her that she would be okay. Jennifer continued to read Hope’s letter. Kate shot Clyde when he tried to come near her. Abe showed up and saw her with her gun. Ben assured Eli that he would let him know the second he heard from Clyde. Eli was upset that he kept quiet about his father coming to see him. He wasn’t sure if he believed he would tell him anything. Kayla told Rolf that he couldn’t pull off his plan to have her give birth to Stefano but he was sure he could do it. She refused to help him and tried to get out of the lab. Abe tried to talk Kate out of pointing the gun on Clyde. Kate wanted him to spend the rest of his life in prison. The police were on their way so Abe told her that she might get her wish. Rolf told Kayla how he gave her a drug so she couldn’t move. He said it would make it easy for him to inject her. Steve showed up at the lab and beat Rolf up. Kate took Henry to Allie. Nicole wanted to know how she was able to get Henry away from Kate. She explained how it happened. Eli told Ben how Clyde was shot. Ben wanted to see him. Eli went into the interrogation room and gave Rolf his phone to make a call. He called Gwen and told her to meet him at the station. If she didn’t, he planned on telling the police about her.

Gwen lied to Chad and Abby about where she was going. Kayla snapped at Steve when he wanted to give her something to drink. She apologized, but she couldn’t remember what Rolf did to her. Kate thanked Nicole for helping Allie when she couldn’t turn to her family. Kate told Allie that she knew what happened to her. Kayla talked to Steve about feeling helpless after what Rolf did to her. She felt the same way she did when she was raped. Chad wanted to stay up and wait for Gwen. Orpheus warned John that Marlena better have his son or he was going to have Henry killed. Marlena showed up with Christian. He wasn’t happy about being taken out of Bayview. He told his father how he was doing so much better at Bayview than he was in prison. Orpheus wanted to help him get his son. Kate ran into Clyde and wanted to call the police. She realized that he had Henry. Rolf told Kayla how he planned on cloning a new Stefano. Steve asked security whether they’ve seen Kayla. He talked to Roman about the prisoners being out and taking Kayla. Roman was sure they left town. Kayla told Rolf she felt sad for him for feeling like he had to cling to Stefano. He said her plan wasn’t going to work. He wanted to achieve his goal. He told her how she was going to help him create the clone. Kate demanded that Clyde give her the baby. He told her to throw her phone in the bushes. She wanted to know why he kidnapped the baby. She was willing to pay the ransom. Orpheus wanted Christian to go with him and he would see David. He planned on killing Henry if he didn’t go with him. Christian wanted to know if he could really keep them safe. He promised his on he would, but he had to take care of John and Marlena first.

Steve and Roman looked at the security footage and realized that Rolf took Kayla. Kayla refused to help Rolf with his plan. John wanted to give Orpheus money since he didn’t plan on honoring his deal with Marlena. Clyde warned Kate that Henry could be hit in the crossfire if the police came after him. Kate offered to be a hostage. He didn’t think she would make Ben feel better. She was willing to make him feel better. He thought Henry was more valuable than she was to him. Allie and Nicole panicked when they realized that Henry was gone. Allie realized the repair guy was the one who took him. Orpheus told John how his associate took Marlena’s great grandson. John didn’t think he would be that cruel to take the child. Orpheus told him to call Allie if he didn’t believe her. He called her and she told him what happened to Henry. He asked her if she called the police. Marlena went to Bayview to have Christian released from Bayview. Dr. Morris said it would take time to have him released, but she needed it done immediately. Lucas told Kate how about Allie getting raped. He blamed himself, but she tried to make him feel better. He felt he should have protected her. He thought he could have prevented the entire thing. He was upset that Allie had a constant reminder of the rape because of Henry. Allie told Nicole how she let a stranger in their home during a prison break. Lani showed up to get details about Henry. Eli questioned Ben about whether Clyde came back. Eli wanted to search his place for Clyde. Dr. Morris told Marlena that Christian was better off at Bayview the same way Claire was. She didn’t want her compared to Christian. He wanted to talk with the other board members and get back to her the next day, but she refused to leave. Dr. Morris finally gave in to her, but she said that she took care of everything and needed Christian.

John demanded that Orpheus get Henry. He assured him that Henry would be safe as long as Marlena did what he wanted. Clyde didn’t want to keep babysitting Henry because he wanted to check on Ben. Marlena wanted to know what Orpheus wanted with her. He didn’t give her any details about his plan with Clyde. John went to Ben’s place to get Marlena, but he let him know that she wasn’t there. Steve and Kayla talked about the blackout. He didn’t want her to be by herself, but she assured him she was fine. He didn’t want her alone with Orpheus, Clyde, and Rolf being on the loose. They also talked about Tripp, and he overheard the end of it. John was upset when Ben told him how Orpheus was on the loose. He demanded to know why he didn’t tell him that already. Ben wondered if Orpheus really had Marlena. He wanted to call the police, but John said he wasn’t calling anyone. Orpheus wanted Marlena to help Christian. She didn’t want to do it because he tried to kill Will. Orpheus told her how Christian was being treated in prison and how he tried to commit suicide. He wanted Marlena to get Christian out of prison. Tripp wanted to know if Steve and Kayla were talking about him and Allie. Clyde pretended to be an electrician to get into Nicole’s apartment. Allie was surprised that Clyde would want to go to her apartment to check the circuit breaker. He managed to convince her that he needed to get inside. John thought Ben could help Marlena. Ben thought about his last conversation with Clyde. Clyde let Allie think he was about to leave the apartment, but he taped the lock and stayed inside. Marlena panicked because she thought Orpheus had John. He assured him that he took someone else she would care about. Ben told John he didn’t hear from Clyde, but he knew someone who could help. Steve tried to call Kayla, but he didn’t get an answer. Rolf wanted Kayla to get Stefano’s essence back, but she told him it wouldn’t happen. Belle was creeped out because she had to be at the house by herself when Jan showed up. Jan said she had something for her and reached in her pocketbook. Clyde told Ben how he didn’t answer him about going with him. Ben didn’t want to leave because he wanted to get revenge on Vincent. He wanted him to feel the pain he felt. Sarah talked to Philip about Xander when he showed up and saw them together. Jan had an object and Belle thought she was about to hit her with it. Jan let her know she had a crystal for Claire, but Belle didn’t want it. She wanted her to go. Sarah couldn’t believe Xander was upset to see her talking to Philip. Sarah tried to explain why they were talking to each other. Clyde told Ben how he was the only family he had left and that’s why he was there. Jan wanted to make sure Claire got her gift. Belle told her that she would give it to her, but she didn’t believe her. She thought Belle was jealous of her relationship with Claire. She thought she was too old to be friends with Claire. Jan thought her relationship with Philip was inappropriate. Clyde tried to convince not to kill Vincent, but Ben snapped and said he was why Ciara was dead. Clyde told him to live the life he was meant to live.

She thought Jan lied about having a gift for Claire, but she said she did have a gift for her. Belle told her how Shawn would never love her. She kept pushing Jan until she snapped and raised the crystal over her head. Shawn showed up while Jan had the crystal in the air. He demanded to know why Jan was in his house. She explained why she was there. Clyde told Ben that Ciara would be mad at him if she knew what he was doing with the gun. He told him to move on with his life. Ben couldn’t believe he was lecturing him. He wanted to know what he was doing, but he wouldn’t tell him. Sarah told Xander that she was going to sleep on the couch if he had to be in the room. Belle and Shawn wanted Jan to get out of the house. Jan finally decided to leave. Shawn wanted to know what she wanted.

Rolf was ready to kill Chad for burning up Stefano’s essence. Chad tried to convince him not to do it. Chad fought him over the gun and took it from him. Gwen walked in the room and wanted to know what happened. He told her about Rolf and wanted her to call the police. She made excuses to get out of calling the police. He wanted to tie Rolf up so he left her alone with him. Belle surprised John and wondered where Marlena was. He told her how she was with a patient. Eli went to Ben’s place to find out about Clyde. Clyde hid in the bathroom so Eli wouldn’t see him. Ben told Eli to search the place if he didn’t believe he was jumpy because of the blackout. Belle wanted to know what happened to John’s hand, but he was more concerned about her. He knew something was bothering her. Eli decided not to check Ben’s room after all. He noticed Ciara’s picture and figured Ben was struggling. He said he would see Ben at the memorial. Rolf was happy to see Gwen and noticed he took his advice. He saw how she was able to get Chad to trust her. Rolf wanted her to help him and he would help her. She wanted to know how she could help him. He warned her that he would tell Chad the truth about her unless she helped him escape.

Belle talked to John about what’s going on with Jan. John understood because of everything she put her through. He said she had Shawn, but she told him how he wasn’t happy with her. She also told him how Jan’s trying to get close to Claire. Chad told Abby how Rolf was at the mansion. She wanted to know what he wanted. He didn’t know, but he wanted to make sure he went back to prison. She called Rolf’s bluff and told him to tell Chad because he wouldn’t believe her. Belle continued to talk to John about Jan trying to get to Claire. She blamed herself and Shawn for why Claire needed help. John tried to make her feel better about Claire. Ben told Clyde he wasn’t safe just because he didn’t tell Eli about him. Clyde asked him if he wanted to go with him. Gwen was on the floor when Chad and Lani saw her. Lani wanted to know what happened with Rolf. Gwen apologized for Rolf getting away. She said he attacked her before he got away. Lani left and Chad questioned how Rolf got out of the ropes. She said he used a letter opener. Chad questioned that reason. He picked up the rope and asked her how she didn’t see Rolf cutting through the rope. Abby walked in and asked if Rolf was arrested. Ben was surprised Clyde wanted him to go with him. Clyde reminded him how he was his only family so he should go with him.

At the DiMera mansion, Chad went to check something. He found a flashlight and saw Rolf. Chad told Rolf to leave. Rolf wanted the microchip that had Stefano’s essence. When Chad wouldn’t give him what he wanted, he pulled a gun out on him. Chad said he didn’t have the microchip because he and Tony burned the microchip. Rolf was upset. Chad told him Stefano was gone. Chad said Rolf couldn’t bring him back. Rolf told him that he had to avenge Stefano’s death if he was gone. Rolf put the gun on Chad again. Gwen went to talk to Abby. They talked about Jake and Chad’s feud. They also talked about Jake thinking Gwen had a reason for planning the party for Jack and Jennifer. Abby said she appreciated her help. Gwen looked forward to the party. Gwen wondered if Jake would be invited to the party. Abby hoped Chad would get along with Jake. Abby confided in her that Chad had trouble fitting in with the DiMeras when he found out he was one. Abby didn’t really think Chad getting along with Stefano was a good thing because he was everything Stefano wasn’t.

Lani didn’t understand why Kristen confessed to stabbing Victor. Eli was about to say something to her when she got a call. Shawn called her to tell her about the prison break. Marlena was shocked to see Orpheus in her living room. She told him John was home. Orpheus knew John wasn’t in any condition to help her. She said he was a fool to underestimate John. She said he would be there right away if she called him. Orpheus told her to let John sleep so they could spend time together. Orpheus told Marlena that he was the reason for the blackout. She wanted to know why he did it. He said he needed her help. She said she wasn’t going to help him. He threatened to go after John if she didn’t do it. Marlena agreed to help him. Orpheus took Marlena out of the house. Ben was shocked to see Clyde at his door. Clyde told him about the breakout and how it was Orpheus’ idea to do it. Ben called Marlena to warn her about Orpheus. Clyde wanted to know why he cared so much about Marlena. Ben said Marlena gave him his life back and that was how he was able to be with Ciara. Ben talked about his love for Ciara. Clyde told him he was sorry for his loss. Ben was doubtful of Clyde’s sincerity. Clyde told him he wished he could be at the memorial. Ben said he probably wasn’t going. Clyde wanted to know what else he had to do. Ben said he wanted to honor her in his own way. Clyde knew he was out for revenge. Ben wanted to make Vincent pay for what he did. Eli showed up at his room.
