Jennifer and Jack went to Hope’s place to get her for the memorial. They had trouble finding her and then she found the note she left for her. Claire was upset that things didn’t go well at the memorial. Julie tried to make her feel better about what happened. Claire wanted to do something for Ciara since she tried to kill her. Ben was determined to make sure Vincent didn’t make it to his arraignment. Jennifer read Hope’s letter to Jack. Hope mentioned not being able to go to the memorial service. Lani didn’t understand why Kristen confessed to what she did. She wanted to know if she did it on her own. Brady went to Eli and blamed him for why Kristen changed her plea. Eli said that Kristen deserved to pay for her crimes. Brady advised him to pray that Lani would understand how he tricked her best friend into a confession. Eli wanted to know if Brady was going to tell Lani what he did. Brady told him that he wouldn’t tell Lani the truth because of Kristen. Lani couldn’t believe Kristen didn’t fight back. Kristen didn’t want her to get upset over what happened. She assured her that she would be okay. Jennifer continued to read Hope’s letter. Hope wanted to look for Ciara and how she couldn’t go to the memorial. Ben was about to go after Vincent when Claire showed up at his place.

Jennifer was upset about what Hope wrote. Jack tried to make her feel better about it. Jennifer wanted to go after Hope, but Jack didn’t think it was a good idea. Brady showed up at the station so she could say goodbye to Rachel. Eli showed up at the station to see Lani. She didn’t know what she would have done if she were Kristen. He told her how was bringing Ciara’s killer to justice. Claire said she was at Ben’s place to take him to the memorial. He said he wasn’t going to it. She wanted to know where he was going if it weren’t to the memorial. He didn’t want to go to a grave site and see Ciara’s name without anything else there. Claire asked him if he thought she was alive. He didn’t tell her if he thought she was alive. He had to go. Kristen wanted Brady to take Rachel away so she wouldn’t see her be taken away. Jennifer and Jack told Doug and Julie how Hope left town. Ben took Vincent out of the police station. He pointed the gun at him.

Kate shot Clyde when he tried to come near her. Abe showed up and saw her with her gun. Ben assured Eli that he would let him know the second he heard from Clyde. Eli was upset that he kept quiet about his father coming to see him. He wasn’t sure if he believed he would tell him anything. Kayla told Rolf that he couldn’t pull off his plan to have her give birth to Stefano but he was sure he could do it. She refused to help him and tried to get out of the lab. Abe tried to talk Kate out of pointing the gun on Clyde. Kate wanted him to spend the rest of his life in prison. The police were on their way so Abe told her that she might get her wish. Rolf told Kayla how he gave her a drug so she couldn’t move. He said it would make it easy for him to inject her. Steve showed up at the lab and beat Rolf up. Kate took Henry to Allie. Nicole wanted to know how she was able to get Henry away from Kate. She explained how it happened. Eli told Ben how Clyde was shot. Ben wanted to see him. Eli went into the interrogation room and gave Rolf his phone to make a call. He called Gwen and told her to meet him at the station. If she didn’t, he planned on telling the police about her.

Gwen lied to Chad and Abby about where she was going. Kayla snapped at Steve when he wanted to give her something to drink. She apologized, but she couldn’t remember what Rolf did to her. Kate thanked Nicole for helping Allie when she couldn’t turn to her family. Kate told Allie that she knew what happened to her. Kayla talked to Steve about feeling helpless after what Rolf did to her. She felt the same way she did when she was raped. Chad wanted to stay up and wait for Gwen. Abby asked him why he wanted to wait for her. He said he a letter opener wouldn’t have cut through the thick rope. He noticed how nervous she got when her phone rang. Rolf was happy to see Gwen at the station. He wanted to know how she was going to get him our. She didn’t know how she would pull it off. He warned her that he would tell what she was doing to Abby. Chad continued to talk about his suspicions to Abby, but she didn’t think she was suspicious. Kayla told Steve how she was reminded about the rape and that’s why Tripp’s situation was hard for her. She wanted to know what would happen if he was the one who raped her. Ben saw Clyde told him how he was going back to prison and could have Vincent killed. Ben wanted to kill him with his own hands. Steve said he would have to deal with it if Tripp was the one who raped Allie.

Orpheus warned John that Marlena better have his son or he was going to have Henry killed. Marlena showed up with Christian. He wasn’t happy about being taken out of Bayview. He told his father how he was doing so much better at Bayview than he was in prison. Orpheus wanted to help him get his son. Kate ran into Clyde and wanted to call the police. She realized that he had Henry. Rolf told Kayla how he planned on cloning a new Stefano. Steve asked security whether they’ve seen Kayla. He talked to Roman about the prisoners being out and taking Kayla. Roman was sure they left town. Kayla told Rolf she felt sad for him for feeling like he had to cling to Stefano. He said her plan wasn’t going to work. He wanted to achieve his goal. He told her how she was going to help him create the clone. Kate demanded that Clyde give her the baby. He told her to throw her phone in the bushes. She wanted to know why he kidnapped the baby. She was willing to pay the ransom. Orpheus wanted Christian to go with him and he would see David. He planned on killing Henry if he didn’t go with him. Christian wanted to know if he could really keep them safe. He promised his on he would, but he had to take care of John and Marlena first.

Steve and Roman looked at the security footage and realized that Rolf took Kayla. Kayla refused to help Rolf with his plan. John wanted to give Orpheus money since he didn’t plan on honoring his deal with Marlena. Clyde warned Kate that Henry could be hit in the crossfire if the police came after him. Kate offered to be a hostage. He didn’t think she would make Ben feel better. She was willing to make him feel better. He thought Henry was more valuable than she was to him. Steve wanted to call Chad because he felt that Rolf kidnapped Kayla because of Stefano. Kayla warned Rolf that Steve would be after him. Orpheus heard the sirens and warned Marlena and John that he wouldn’t give them Henry if he got arrested again. He told John to tie up Marlena and he would tie him up. Christian hit Orpheus in the head with a paint can. He told John and Marlena that he pretended to go along with his father so he wouldn’t hurt them or Henry. Steve told Roman about his conversation with Chad. Kayla told Rolf he needed to give up on his plan and turn himself in. He refused to do that. He said he would do it on his own. Allie and Nicole panicked when they realized that Henry was gone. Allie realized the repair guy was the one who took him. Orpheus told John how his associate took Marlena’s great grandson. John didn’t think he would be that cruel to take the child. Orpheus told him to call Allie if he didn’t believe her. He called her and she told him what happened to Henry. He asked her if she called the police. Marlena went to Bayview to have Christian released from Bayview. Dr. Morris said it would take time to have him released, but she needed it done immediately. Lucas told Kate how about Allie getting raped. He blamed himself, but she tried to make him feel better. He felt he should have protected her. He thought he could have prevented the entire thing. He was upset that Allie had a constant reminder of the rape because of Henry. Allie told Nicole how she let a stranger in their home during a prison break. Lani showed up to get details about Henry. Eli questioned Ben about whether Clyde came back. Eli wanted to search his place for Clyde. Dr. Morris told Marlena that Christian was better off at Bayview the same way Claire was. She didn’t want her compared to Christian. He wanted to talk with the other board members and get back to her the next day, but she refused to leave. Dr. Morris finally gave in to her, but she said that she took care of everything and needed Christian.

John demanded that Orpheus get Henry. He assured him that Henry would be safe as long as Marlena did what he wanted. Clyde didn’t want to keep babysitting Henry because he wanted to check on Ben. Marlena wanted to know what Orpheus wanted with her. He didn’t give her any details about his plan with Clyde. John went to Ben’s place to get Marlena, but he let him know that she wasn’t there. Steve and Kayla talked about the blackout. He didn’t want her to be by herself, but she assured him she was fine. He didn’t want her alone with Orpheus, Clyde, and Rolf being on the loose. They also talked about Tripp, and he overheard the end of it. John was upset when Ben told him how Orpheus was on the loose. He demanded to know why he didn’t tell him that already. Ben wondered if Orpheus really had Marlena. He wanted to call the police, but John said he wasn’t calling anyone. Orpheus wanted Marlena to help Christian. She didn’t want to do it because he tried to kill Will. Orpheus told her how Christian was being treated in prison and how he tried to commit suicide. He wanted Marlena to get Christian out of prison. Tripp wanted to know if Steve and Kayla were talking about him and Allie. Clyde pretended to be an electrician to get into Nicole’s apartment. Allie was surprised that Clyde would want to go to her apartment to check the circuit breaker. He managed to convince her that he needed to get inside. John thought Ben could help Marlena. Steve lied to Tripp about asking Kayla to put in a good word for him at medical school. Tripp wondered what would happen if Kayla didn’t believe him. Steve was sure she would believe him. Kayla was waiting for the security guard, but Rolf showed up. Rolf pulled out his gun when he noticed that she looked at her phone. Orpheus warned Marlena that he did something to guarantee that she helped him. John and Ben talked about the breakout. He wanted to know if Clyde already got in touch with him. Ben thought about his last conversation with Clyde. Clyde let Allie think he was about to leave the apartment, but he taped the lock and stayed inside. Marlena panicked because she thought Orpheus had John. He assured him that he took someone else she would care about. Ben told John he didn’t hear from Clyde, but he knew someone who could help. Steve tried to call Kayla, but he didn’t get an answer. Rolf wanted Kayla to get Stefano’s essence back, but she told him it wouldn’t happen. Sarah talked to Philip about Xander when he showed up and saw them together. Jan had an object and Belle thought she was about to hit her with it. Jan let her know she had a crystal for Claire, but Belle didn’t want it. She wanted her to go. Sarah couldn’t believe Xander was upset to see her talking to Philip. Sarah tried to explain why they were talking to each other. Clyde told Ben how he was the only family he had left and that’s why he was there. Jan wanted to make sure Claire got her gift. Belle told her that she would give it to her, but she didn’t believe her. She thought Belle was jealous of her relationship with Claire. She thought she was too old to be friends with Claire. Jan thought her relationship with Philip was inappropriate. Clyde tried to convince not to kill Vincent, but Ben snapped and said he was why Ciara was dead. Rolf was ready to kill Chad for burning up Stefano’s essence. Chad tried to convince him not to do it. Chad fought him over the gun and took it from him. Gwen walked in the room and wanted to know what happened. He told her about Rolf and wanted her to call the police. She made excuses to get out of calling the police. He wanted to tie Rolf up so he left her alone with him. Belle surprised John and wondered where Marlena was. He told her how she was with a patient. Eli went to Ben’s place to find out about Clyde. Clyde hid in the bathroom so Eli wouldn’t see him. Ben told Eli to search the place if he didn’t believe he was jumpy because of the blackout. Belle wanted to know what happened to John’s hand, but he was more concerned about her. He knew something was bothering her. Eli decided not to check Ben’s room after all. He noticed Ciara’s picture and figured Ben was struggling. He said he would see Ben at the memorial. Rolf was happy to see Gwen and noticed he took his advice. He saw how she was able to get Chad to trust her. Rolf wanted her to help him and he would help her. She wanted to know how she could help him. At the DiMera mansion, Chad went to check something. He found a flashlight and saw Rolf. Chad told Rolf to leave. Rolf wanted the microchip that had Stefano’s essence. When Chad wouldn’t give him what he wanted, he pulled a gun out on him. Chad said he didn’t have the microchip because he and Tony burned the microchip. Rolf was upset. Chad told him Stefano was gone. Chad said Rolf couldn’t bring him back. Rolf told him that he had to avenge Stefano’s death if he was gone. Rolf put the gun on Chad again. Gwen went to talk to Abby. They talked about Jake and Chad’s feud. They also talked about Jake thinking Gwen had a reason for planning the party for Jack and Jennifer. Abby said she appreciated her help. Gwen looked forward to the party. Gwen wondered if Jake would be invited to the party. Abby hoped Chad would get along with Jake. Abby confided in her that Chad had trouble fitting in with the DiMeras when he found out he was one. Abby didn’t really think Chad getting along with Stefano was a good thing because he was everything Stefano wasn’t.

Lani didn’t understand why Kristen confessed to stabbing Victor. Eli was about to say something to her when she got a call. Shawn called her to tell her about the prison break. Marlena was shocked to see Orpheus in her living room. She told him John was home. Orpheus knew John wasn’t in any condition to help her. She said he was a fool to underestimate John. She reminded him how he was able to get into the company because of Stefano. Chad wasn’t thrilled that she sounded like she defended him. She wanted him to find a way to get along with Jake. Clyde wanted to know why Orpheus wanted to work with him. He wanted to know the catch. Ben had to hide the evidence bag so Marlena wouldn’t see it. Philip was talking to someone on the phone about Xander when Brady walked in the room. Brady demanded to see Victor. Kayla told Steve that Allie let her get a sample from the baby. She said Allie thought it would prove he raped her. Steve said Tripp denied raping her. She wanted to know if he told Tripp about the test. He let her know he didn’t. She believed they should tell her. Brady told Philip that Kristen was getting sentenced unless Victor did something. Philip didn’t think Victor should do something since she tried to kill him. Kayla and Steve were talking about keeping the truth from Tripp when he overheard part of the conversation. John wondered why Marlena didn’t tell Roman about what happened to Allie. She didn’t think it was their place to tell it. They talked about how she felt bad. John thought Tripp was the one who should feel bad. Allie was confused about why Tripp would agree to the DNA test. Nicole said it was because it would clear him. She knew the test wouldn’t clear him because he’s a racist. Steve managed to cover for him and Kayla with Tripp. Tripp wanted a toothbrush. Brady wondered if Philip was tired of the games Victor wants to play with them. Brady figured he was trying to get Xander fired. He wanted to know who he was talking to on the phone.

John was upset when he thought Tripp called her a liar. Steve stopped him from going after Tripp. John didn’t like how he believed Tripp. Kayla and Marlena arrived and saw them arguing. Philip talked to Sarah about Xander. He didn’t understand how Maggie could care about Xander after what he did to her. He thought he was wrong for what he did to her. Nicole asked Allie if she was avoiding Henry because of Tripp raping her. John couldn’t believe Kayla would have Tripp in her place when she was in the same position as Allie. Marlena made John leave their place. Steve assured Tripp that things would be okay. Sarah defended Xander despite what he did to her. Philip told her how he convinced Jan to press charges against him. She said he tried to stop her from doing it, but it didn’t work. Sarah wanted him to try and get along with Xander. He explained why he ended up punching Tripp. He asked her if she thought he wanted to hurt Tripp because of the aneurysm. Tripp talked to Steve about John hitting him. Allie said she didn’t have anyone to talk to about her situation. She said she didn’t remember what Tripp did to her at the time. Tripp didn’t understand the point of getting a DNA test. He realized Kayla didn’t believe him. She explained why he should take it. She had a test that he could take, but he didn’t want to take it. Xander walked in and saw Philip with Sarah. He warned Philip not to keep hitting on his girl or he would regret it. Sarah didn’t want Xander to go after Philip. She walked out of the room and Xander went after her. Philip was satisfied that his plan worked. John didn’t think Tripp should get away with raping her. Steve tried to explain why Tripp didn’t want to take the paternity test. Kayla thought Tripp might be hiding something because he was avoiding the one thing that could prove his innocence. Steve had an idea. Philip said he might, but Shawn helped Xander let Jan get away with her scheme. Belle said Shawn didn’t care about Philip and Xander’s feud. Philip wasn’t happy with what happened. She wanted to know hwy he brought the recording to her and not Melinda. Brady ran into Jack and Jennifer and they talked about what Kristen’s going through. They also talked about how great Abby was. Gwen suggested Abby have a celebration for her family. She realized she couldn’t do it so Gwen offered to help. Chad went to see Jake to offer an olive branch. Eli explained to Kristen why he had to make the confession. She wanted to know what would happen if he didn’t turn in the confession. He told her he had an idea and that was why he was there. Philip showed Victor his proposal and wanted his blessing to go through with investing in it. Victor said he needed Xander’s approval. Jan continued to talk to Shawn about Philip threatening her. He thought she was trying to score brownie points with him. She reminded him how he’s a cop and she’s a citizen so he had to do his job. Allie talked to Nicole about what happened when she met Tripp. Xander thought Philip’s investment had some risks. Philip got upset so everyone expected him to listen to Xander. Xander suddenly agreed to talk about it, but he wanted to focus on dinner. Shawn showed up to see Philip about a police matter. Allie continued to talk to Nicole about how she met Tripp. Jan saw Claire talking to Tripp. Jan wanted to talk to her. She wanted to talk to Claire about her father. Philip wanted to know what Shawn wanted from him. He told him how he threatened Jan. Philip said he told him in confidence, but he couldn’t wait to go cop on him. Shawn told him how Jan reported it so he had to show up there. Philip admitted to what he did so Shawn had to arrest him. Sarah looked at Xander, but he acted clueless. Shawn read Philip his rights. Philip said he was protecting his family.

Tripp and Allie ran into each other in the park. He was surprised to see her, but she was upset to see him. She slapped him. Lani was upset Abe brought Melinda back for Kristen’s trial. She told him that she didn’t care about the stabbing. She only cared about what happened to Haley. He wanted to know what she wanted to do. She wanted him to fire her. Brady tried to talk Melinda out of going after Kristen, but she didn’t want to hear it. She was going to get the proof she needed to nail her. Melinda walked away and talked to Eli. Tripp didn’t understand why Allie hit him. She didn’t believe he didn’t know. She thought he was a jerk and was about to walk away, but he stopped her. Abe didn’t think he could fire Melinda because Lani didn’t like it. She explained why he could do it. Abe felt Kristen should be convicted if she’s guilty. Melinda asked Eli questions about Kristen’s case and noticed holes in it. Kate and Nicole talked about Allie’s custody situation. Nicole told Kate how Allie reacted when she asked about the father. Kate remembered she got upset when she asked about the father. Tripp didn’t understand Allie’s behavior. He said he thought about her, but she said she didn’t think about him because she was busy.

Melinda wanted answers from Eli. He thought about finding out Kristen was guilty. Lani continued to convince Abe to get rid of Melinda. Nicole and Kate continued to talk about Allie keeping quiet the father. Allie wanted Tripp to pretend he never saw her. Melinda wanted to know how Kristen knew to run. She was convinced someone tipped her off. Allie went back to the apartment and told Nicole about running into Henry’s father. Eli told Melinda that he didn’t know who tipped Kristen off. She thought it was someone on the inside. He lied to her and told her Kristen must have overheard Rafe talking about it. Lani went to the station to talk to Eli. He told her about the info Melinda wanted to nail Kristen. He warned her that they knew where the investigation would lead. Kate met with Abe and saw how he was babysitting Rachel.

Gwen talked to Rolf about Abby not falling for the drug she gave her. He was surprised that she was so resilient. Ben thought Ciara was in his room only for it to turn out to be Claire. She returned Ciara’s suitcase. Sami told Nicole that she had to get back home, but nothing changed between them. She still hated her, but she wanted Allie to fall in love with her son. Lucas and Allie talked to Abby and Chad about being around her baby. Gwen and Rolf talked about how they ended up working together to get Abby. She asked him for another dose to drug Abby, but he told her that he couldn’t do it. Sami reminded Nicole that she still had custody of the baby so she better not try anything. Allie and Lucas went to Eric’s place. Sami gave Allie the baby and said it was time to name him. Ben looked at Ciara’s things and told Claire about the memories he had. He apologized to Claire for telling Ciara not to let her be the maid of honor. He thought Ciara would still be there if he hadn’t wasted time accusing Claire of coming after them. Rolf told Gwen why it wouldn’t be a good idea for her to keep drugging Abby. She asked him if he had another idea.

Allie was surprised Sami didn’t name him. She didn’t think it was her place. Allie wanted Nicole to name him, but Sami refused to let her do it. Nicole agreed with Sami and thought she should name him. She decided to name him Henry Lucas Horton. Abby wanted to go back to work, but Chad wasn’t so sure it was a good idea. Rolf wanted to know what Gwen knew about Abby. She told him what she knew. Rolf suggested she go after Chad. She liked the idea and she wanted to bring Abby down. Rolf wanted to know why Gwen hated her so much. She said she had a very good reason and he would find out when everyone else found out. Chad wanted to support Abby and was okay with her going back to work. They were kissing when Gwen showed up. Sami expressed how much she would be there for Allie. She talked about their unbreakable bond. Claire told Ben he wasn’t responsible for what happened to Ciara. She told him that Hope went after Vincent. She also told him that Ciara might not have been in the car. Nicole wondered if Allie named the baby after the father. She got really upset and didn’t want to talk about him. Ben decided to help Hope look for Ciara.

Steve checked on John at the hospital. He told John that Marlena was with Ben. John didn’t understand why Marlena would be him after he tried ti kill Will. Steve explained how compassionate she is. John thought he was after her. John reminded him how he wanted Marlena in the past. Steve told him how Rolf messed with his mind. John said sorry and believed something was wrong with him. Steve tried to make him feel better. Ben had a nightmare about the explosion and called out Ciara’s name. Marlena tried to comfort him. He felt like he failed Ciara when she needed him. He said she was the best thing that happened to him. He didn’t know how he could live without her. She said it will be hard, but he could get through it. He cried and thanked her for helping him. He asked her about John. She let him think he was fine.

Abby saw Chad in a picture with a woman. The woman in the picture was the previous Abby. Chad let her know he was in the picture with her. She looked at it again and saw her face in the picture. He asked her if she was hallucinating again. She thought it was possible, but assured him she was okay. She said her medications make the hallucinations manageable. He asked her if she was mad about him kissing Gwen. He assured her that he loved her. Gwen thought about drugging Abby. She said Abby was going to have a bad day. Jack and Jennifer had a bad day. She made comments about Abby until they left. Chad and Abby walked in and she offered them a cup of coffee. Chad told her Abby couldn’t have it because of her medication. Chad was going to drink it, but she stopped him from drinking it.
