Gabi confronted Ava about giving Philip the information about Jake. Ava didn’t deny giving the information to him. Philip and Jake went back and forth about him giving the information about him to Ava. He told Philip to fire him and not Gabi if he had a problem with his past. Philip fired him. Johnny didn’t understand why EJ wanted to play John in his movie. He thought EJ was trying to stick it to Chad. EJ told him that he had to let him play the part if he wanted him to finance the movie. Philip told Jake if Gabi surrendered her company, he would stay a free man. Gabi refused to give up her company. Ava said reminded her that Jake was involved in a murder so he would do jail time. Gabi said she would never take Jake away from her. Ava told her that she was going to take over her company. Abby singed the contracts. EJ had his own papers drawn up for the movie. Chad and EJ signed the contract. Chad told Johnny that EJ had to sign another contract because he wanted to play John. EJ said he had contracts for the role of John. He said he signed it because he was going to be playing John.

Chad wanted to know what EJ was trying to pull. EJ said he wanted to help Johnny with his movie. Abby thought EJ was wrong. Chad wanted Johnny to revoke his contract. Philip knew that Jake and Gabi were working together to set him up. He said Gabi started it and he was fighting back. Gabi refused to give up her company than let Ava run it. Ava asked her if she wanted to let her boyfriend go to prison. Gabi threatened to go to Rafe and tell him that she was trying to steal her company. Jake warned Philip that Ava would feed him to the wolves to save her own hide. Ava told Gabi that Rafe wasn’t going to find out what she did because she was going to tell him about Jake. She said that he would investigate it. Gabi told her that Rafe would be suspicious if she’s suddenly running her company. Ava wanted her to make him believe why she was running it. Chad and Abby tried to convince Johnny to get rid of EJ as John. Johnny couldn’t do that because he would lose the funding he needed for the movie. Chad offered to pay the money, but EJ said the contract was already signed. Johnny promised them that it would be professional. Ava told Gabi that it was over for her. Philip said he wasn’t naïve when it concerned Ava. Jake told him that he would pay a price getting mixed up with the mob. He said the last time he did it Brady was shot. He said he might not be so lucky next time.

The devil had Marlena levitating. He recapped everything that she did for him. He wanted her to give in to him Roman told John that he backed out of Johnny’s movie. John was happy that he backed out. John told him about the way Marlena has been acting. He said she was acting a little strange after her session with Ben. He said he didn’t tell her about Johnny’s movie. He said he wanted to protect her. Roman asked if she was worried about something else. John said she was worried about Doug and how he had to be committed. The devil told Marlena that Ben and Ciara’s child was important for the future. He said he needed the baby for himself. John continued to thank Roman for backing out of the movie. The devil continued to tell Marlena how much he needed the baby. He wanted to tell her what he had in store for the baby. Ben was concerned when the windows opened up when Ciara said they might have made a baby. She tried to convince him that nothing would happen. He wasn’t so sure about that.

Ciara told Ben that having a baby is life changing. She admitted that she was nervous too. Ben hoped he didn’t pass down his problems. He wanted to get treatment for the baby as soon as they see signs. John went to check on Marlena, but the door was locked. He was determined to get inside of the room. John got in the room and saw Marlena sleeping. She woke up when he touched her. He thought he heard voices in the room. John wanted to know if Marlena was on the phone. Marlena wanted to talk to Ben, but John didn’t want her to talk to him yet. Ciara didn’t think it was omen that they saw Rosemary’s Baby. Ben thought the movie might have been a bad sign for them. John told Marlena how Johnny planned on making his movie about her. She wanted to know why he wanted to make it about her. He explained why and that Roman backed out of the movie. He told her that he wasn’t making the movie. He didn’t want her to relive that part of her life. John said that everything from the past would stay in the past.

John and Roman were upset that Johnny’s movie was about Marlena’s possession. John said he wouldn’t let Johnny make the movie. Allie said she didn’t think he could stop him. John said Will never got the rights to Marlena’s story when he wrote the script. John said he would talk to Marlena and she would stop Johnny from doing the movie. Marlena wanted to know what the devil wanted with Ben’s baby. The devil said the baby would inherit the genes of a serial killer. The devil thought it could turn into the perfect instrument of evil. She said Ben wasn’t evil. The devil said he had evil inside of him. He said it was a perfect blend of genes. It would have Ben’s potential for evil while being innocent with Ciara’s soul. The devil said the soul could be corrupted. He said it was what he wanted. Marlena wanted to know what he meant. The devil told her not to worry. She said she wouldn’t let him use Ben. She picked up the phone to warn Ben. John showed up to Marlena’s office. She got off the phone. He asked her about her session with Ben. She said she thought she led Ben down the wrong path. She wanted to talk to Ben. John stopped her. He took her home. John got Marlena in the bed. She said she was worried, but didn’t know why. He told her to take care of herself. He turned on a white noise machine before he left. The devil spoke to Marlena through the white noise machine. He told her to give in to him. She ended up levitating.

Ben told Ciara that he was ready to have a baby. He told her Marlena gave good advice. He said she was different today. He said it felt as if she had personal stake in them having a baby. Ciara said she only wanted him to do it if he wanted to. He said he couldn’t wait to have a baby with her. Roman ran into Johnny. Roman told him he was pulling his money out of the movie. Roman said he didn’t think Johnny understood why the movie was a bad idea. When Roman walked away, Johnny said that was going to ruin his movie. He said there was no on else to ask for money. Chad and Abby talked about the kiss in the movie. She reminded him that they were supposed to take things slowly. He said he wouldn’t rush her into anything. When they were about to kiss, EJ walked in. Chad and Abby told him they were rehearsing their lines for Johnny’s movie. Chad told EJ he was thinking about playing John in the movie. EJ wanted to know how he would handle working and being in a movie. They ended up arguing. EJ threatened to tell Mr. Shin about the movie. EJ said he shouldn’t have undermined with Johnny. Chad told Abby he wasn’t worried about Mr. Shin. Chad wanted to get back to the script. She wanted to check on the kids. He wanted to go with her so he could protect her from creatures with British accents. Johnny told EJ that his project was over before it got started. Johnny told him Roman pulled out of the movie. EJ offered to pay the money he needed. Johnny wanted to know what the catch was. Johnny said he knew there was one. EJ said there was one. He said he wanted to play John.

John went to see Roman to talk him out of financing Johnny’s movie. Roman said he knew John was afraid it would open up old wounds. Roman said he was over John and Marlena’s affair. John thought about his affair with Marlena. John couldn’t imagine their moment being recreated for a movie. John told Roman that he wasn’t worried about their affair being exposed. He was concerned about Marlena’s possession getting out. Roman said he would talk to Johnny about not putting Marlena’s possession in the script. Julie and Ciara talked about Ben’s reservations over being a father. Ciara said she would be okay with Ben’s decision. She said she wouldn’t push Ben to do something he didn’t want to do. Ciara comforted Julie when she brought up Doug. Ciara ended up leaving. Kayla went to see Julie. Kayla told her there was no change in Doug. Kayla wanted her to wait 24 hours before she could see him. Julie said she felt helpless. Kayla told her told pray. Julie said she would pray for Doug until she died.

The devil told Marlena not to let Ben leave her office. She asked Ben if he heard the devil’s voice. The devil said he had a direct line to her head and soul. Ben said he didn’t hear anything. The devil told Marlena to tell Ben to have a baby or he would go see Doug. Marlena told Ben that not having a baby would be a bad idea. Ben didn’t understand why she wanted him to pass on his genes. She said his child would grow up in a loving home unlike what he had. She said Ciara might resent him if he denied her a chance at having a child. Marlena told Ben to go home and make love to his wife and make a baby.  He noticed that she wasn’t acting like herself. He said she doesn’t tell him what to do. She said she didn’t want going down the wrong path. She said he worked hard to be with Ciara. He said she was right. He thanked her and everything. When Ben went home, he told Ciara if she wanted a baby, he was game. The devil told Marlena that she did a good. Marlena was confused. She asked what it had to do with Ben. The devil said he had plans for Ben’s baby.

Justin went to the judge and told him about Gwen’s recording. He demanded that he let Xander and Bonnie out or he would go to Jack with the recording. Philip told Gabi about Jake’s past as a hitman. He gave her the file that Ava gave him about Jake. She didn’t want to believe it. He thought she would feel that way so he told her about the witness who saw Jake dump a body. Ava talked to Jake about Gabi. She didn’t understand why hated her so much. She thought Jake should be worried because she was focused on him and not her. They talked about what happened with the mob families. Philip continued to tell Gabi about what Jake did to the man who died. She wanted to know how he found out so much information about the mob. She realized that Ava was the one who told him about it. Justin went to see Xander. Xander wondered if he told the judge about the recording. Xander wondered if he was able to get him out of jail. Justin said it didn’t exactly happen that way. Melinda walked in the room and said Justin was busted for blackmailing a judge.

Melinda told Justin, Xander and Gwen that the judge was uncomfortable with Gwen’s offer. Melinda suggested that he have a recording device of his own. She played the recording. She told them that they were all going to be in trouble for blackmailing a judge. Gwen said that she didn’t plan on going through with sleeping with the judge. Melinda told her that she tried to do it so she would be in trouble too. She also said that Bonnie was going to prison for murder. Jake decided that there should be a sit down dinner to make peace between Ava and Gabi. Ava liked the idea, but she wondered how they were going to pull it off. He said that they needed to tell her that Rafe meant everything to both of them and he was worth getting along. Gabi was upset with Philip when he told her that she couldn’t buy out Gabi Chic from him. She reminded him how she helped his company. She noticed his aftershave and realized it was the same one that was at the house. She realized that Ava was working with him to bring her down. Justin wanted Melinda to hear him out before she arrested him. She was shocked because she thought he was one of the good guys. Xander said he is one of the good guys. Justin told her that the judge was on the take. She said he should have gone about it the legal way because she would have investigated him. She said he would be in the Spectator for his arrest and possibly losing his job. Xander apologized to Justin for him getting in trouble helping them. He said he had to protect Bonnie. Philip wanted Gabi to show the folder to Jake so he could see what Carmine is willing to say on the stand. He wanted her to decide what she was going to do. If she didn’t decide, Jake was going to be charged with murder.

Xander wanted Justin to help him with his case. Justin didn’t want to help him. Xander told him about his and Gwen’s plan to blackmail the judge. Justin was appalled by the plan. Gwen went to see the judge and told him that Xander wasn’t a drug dealer. The judge told her that his lawyer would have to defend him and he wanted her to leave. Brady arrived at the Kiriakis mansion so Philip thought he was there to see Chloe. Philip and Chloe listened to Brady babble about the muffin he was eating. It turned out that Maggie was home. Ava walked in on Gabi and Jake in their room. Gabi was upset about her being in there. Ava wanted to offer Jake something because it might be his last meal. Jake suggested they found somewhere else to live. She said it was her family’s house so she wasn’t leaving. She refused to let Ava get away with what she’s doing. Brady, Philip and Chloe were talking to Maggie. Philip received a text from Ava to meet her at the park. The judge told Gwen that Xander had a lawyer in EJ. He didn’t see a problem. She said that EJ dropped him once the money ran out. He didn’t see a problem because he could have a court-appointed attorney. She explained what happened and how he dismissed the case before. She said she would do anything to help Xander. She started unbuttoning her shirt. Xander continued to tell Justin about the plan. He wanted Justin to confront the judge with the tape.

Justin refused to be a part of Xander’s plan. Xander said he didn’t have a choice because it looks like he was involved. Xander told him how it looked like he was involved in the case. Xander told him that his plan could help Bonnie too. Maggie talked to Brady and Chloe about Summer dying. She felt like she was at peace. Maggie told them that Victor said they were back together. Ava met with Philip in the park. She said that she had info about Jake. She said if the information got into the wrong hands, Jake would go to prison for a long time. Philip was impressed with the information Ava had on Jake. He wondered if she was worried about Gabi going to Rafe with the information. Xander continued to convince Justin to work with him. He was sure he could help Bonnie too. He said the judge wouldn’t think twice about giving in. He asked him if he thought it was worth it to see Bonnie put away. He wanted Justin to picture Victor’s face once he told her that Bonnie was set free. Gwen unbuttoned more of her shirt in front of the judge. He said she was a beautiful woman. She confessed that she was attracted to powerful men. She wanted him to find out for himself. She asked him if he wanted to see her and he said he would. She told him that she would sleep with him if he promised to let Xander go. He agreed to her terms. Gwen showed up at the station and told them that the judge agreed to the terms. Philip met with Gabi to tell her that she was fired. Justin went to see the judge and told him to dismiss the cases against Bonnie and Xander. He played the recording of his conversation with Gwen.

Johnny walked in on Chad playing chess and Abby reading his script. Johnny asked if she decided to do his movie. Chad said he would back her 100 percent if she wanted to do the movie. She said she would do the movie. Johnny said he needed one more investor. Chad was concerned about how EJ would feel about it. Johnny didn’t think he should let EJ tell him what to do. Rafe couldn’t believe Nicole and EJ were on a date. EJ said they were married before. Nicole said they were catching up. Rafe and EJ argued before Rafe went to his table with Ava. Rafe complained to Ava about EJ being on a date with Nicole. Rafe apologized to Ava. Rafe looked at Nicole. She looked at him too. EJ called Nicole out for looking at Rafe. EJ wanted to go back to the mansion and have the cook make them something. EJ gave Rafe and Ava his bottle of wine. He and Nicole left Julie’s. Abby said acting would be a fun challenge. She said she didn’t want to cause any problems. Johnny said he was making his movie no matter what. Chad said he would fund the movie. Chad and Johnny hugged each other as EJ and Nicole walked in.

EJ was upset about what was going on with Chad and Johnny. He asked if they were crazy. EJ told Chad not to give Johnny any money. Chad said he couldn’t stop him. EJ said he could stop him. When EJ and Chad were about to fight, Abby and Nicole came between them. Johnny asked Chad if he changed his mind about investing. Chad said he wanted to invest. Johnny was excited and left to work on the script. Chad wanted to celebrate with Abby. She said she was tempted but it was too soon for her. She said she didn’t want to rush it. Nicole tried to comfort EJ. He said he didn’t understand why people turned against him. He said he wanted to be a good father to his son. She said he was trying to regain some control after Sami’s affair by telling Johnny and Chad what to do. Nicole told him to lighten up so he didn’t push people away. He said he would think about her advice. Ava wanted to drink the wine EJ left them. Rafe didn’t want the wine. She asked if he was jealous. He said he was concerned about Nicole considering past with EJ. Ava said Nicole could make her own decisions. She said there was nothing they could do about it. He agreed with her and apologized.

EJ showed up at Basic Black to pick up Nicole for their date. When he noticed the bear, he asked if she still had feelings for Rafe. She denied it. He said he hoped she didn’t because the date was a way to move on. He said to get rid of the bear. He put the bear in the garbage can. When they were on their way out, she took the bear out of the garbage. Rafe thought about seeing Nicole outside of the Brady Pub. Ava showed up and asked him out. EJ and Nicole went to Julie’s Place. Rafe and Ava showed up. Rafe asked if they were having a business dinner. EJ said they were for pleasure. Doug woke up and saw Marlena standing over Julie. He pressed the call button. He got out of his bed to confront Marlena. Before John pressed the play button on the recorder in Marlena’s office, Kayla walked in the room. She told him the recording was protected under doctor/patient confidentiality. He was tempted to listen to it because Doug said Marlena was trying to kill him. Kayla got a call about someone pressing the call button. John and Kayla went to Doug’s room. They found Doug fighting with Marlena. Kayla went to check on Julie. John put Doug back in his bed. Marlena said she saw Doug hit Julie in the head. Doug said that didn’t happen. Julie said she remembered getting Doug something to drink when something hit her head. She said Doug wouldn’t hit her.

Doug told everyone that Marlena hit Julie. Marlena said Doug should be sedated. He said he wanted to protect Julie. Kayla agreed with Doug. When John and Marlena left, Julie said she knew Doug didn’t hit her. Kayla said no one else was in the room. Julie said Marlena was in the room. John asked Marlena why she went to see Doug. He asked if the recording helped her remember something. Marlena said it did and said Doug was more of a threat to Julie than she thought. He said he wanted to kill Julie. John told Marlena that Doug said she tried to kill him. John said he was worried about Doug. Marlena agreed with him. Kayla and Julie showed up. Julie said Marlena was wrong. She said Doug would never hurt her. Marlena said Julie needed to face the truth. She said Doug was a danger to himself and to other people. She said Doug should be committed.

Doug told John that Marlena was trying to kill him. He didn’t believe that Marlena would try to kill him. He wanted to know if he wanted him to die too. Johnny talked to Chad and Abby about his movie. Chad was surprised that he wanted to focus on the possession storyline. He wanted them to think it over. The devil told Marlena how he was grateful that she let him back inside her. He recapped what happened the last time he possessed her. Doug continued to tell John that Marlena wanted him dead. John said that everything would be fine. He was going to get Kayla to give him something to calm him down. Doug didn’t want him to leave. The devil told Marlena that they had to get rid of Doug. He refused to be an outsider. He wanted her to let him back in because he refused to let her leave him. John ran into Julie and let him know about his conversation with Doug. He told her that Doug thinks Marlena’s trying to kill him.

Abby was reading Johnny’s script. Chad was surprised that she considered doing the movie. Marlena told the devil that she refused to let him back in her body. The devil reminded her about the good times they had together. The devil wanted to get rid of Doug. Ciara and Ben met with Allie and Tripp at a bar. Ciara talked to Allie about wanting to have a baby. She thought Ben didn’t want a child because he was afraid the baby would end up like him. Allie didn’t think the baby would end up like Ben. Ben talked to Tripp about whether he could pass his mental issues on to his children. Tripp said that it was possible that he could pass it on to his kids. Julie went to Doug’s room. She told him that he would be back his old self soon. The devil told Marlena that she couldn’t resist him. He said they could take care of Doug. She didn’t want to do it. The devil said he would take care of Doug with or without her. She told him not to hurt him. The devil said there was a way to get Doug out of the picture, but she had to back him up. He wanted her to decide between Doug and him. Allie suggested that Ciara and Ben adopt. Ciara didn’t think they could adopt because of Ben’s past. Allie suggested they go to a lawyer and could find a baby. Tripp told Ben that his baby could inherit his mental illness. Julie told Doug that he didn’t have a reason to be afraid. She said everyone loved him including Marlena. He said Marlena didn’t want to help him. Marlena’s eye turned yellow.

EJ was at the Pub and was making reservations on the phone. Lucas overheard him and thought he was making plans with Sami. EJ corrected him. They ended up arguing with each other. Roman stopped them from arguing. Lucas let EJ know that he was investing in Johnny’s movie. When Lucas left the pub, Roman told EJ that he was investing in Johnny’s movie too. EJ said Johnny’s place was at DiMera. Roman asked him if he realized how stupid he was. They got in an argument. EJ called Sami a tramp. Roman threatened to hit him. He apologized, but reminded him that Sami cheated. Roman said EJ wasn’t a perfect husband. He said him that he was pushing Johnny away. Johnny called John to see if Marlena was home. John told him that she was resting because she wasn’t feeling well. John told him they were passing on the movie. John said reliving the memories would be painful. Johnny said reliving the past could get rid of the demons. He said what happened to Marlena was terrible and needed to stay private. He told Johnny to leave the possession out of the story. When Johnny got off the phone, he said he was keeping it. Marlena dreamed that she was fighting internally with the devil over Doug. She screamed out in her sleep. John came in the room to comfort her. She said she had a nightmare that she couldn’t remember. She said it was about Doug. She said she was scared that she made Doug worse. John told her to listen to her sessions for answers.

Abby asked Johnny about his movie. She asked if Will included her affair with EJ in the script. Johnny said he would take it out of the movie. He said he was focusing on Marlena being possessed. While they were talking about the script, he said he wanted to use the people who were connected to the horror as actors. Johnny asked Abby to play Marlena. Abby was shocked that he wanted her to play Marlena. She hesitated because she had DID and knew what it was like to have someone take over your life. He wanted to know if she would play the role. Tripp met with Julie in the hospital. She said Doug didn’t sleep well. Tripp said that was common for people with dementia. She said her husband didn’t have dementia. She said Doug would get better if she kept praying for him. She asked Tripp if there was a scientific explanation for everything. Tripp said he did. John went to see Doug. John told Julie to get some rest. He said he would watch Doug. When Julie left, John talked to Doug about Marlena. When Doug woke up, he told John that Marlena tried to kill him. Marlena heard the devil talking through Doug on her sessions. When she wanted to hear the session again, it was garbled. She was shocked when she heard the devil speak. The devil asked if she needed to play the tape. The devil was hurt that she didn’t remember their reunion. The devil offered to remind her.

Ava told Philip that he wasn’t going to help him take Gabi down. He said she told him when she overheard Gabi and Jake talking about him. Ava said Gabi was Rafe’s sister so she couldn’t help him. Philip said Rafe didn’t have to know. He asked if she was going to help him. Ava wanted to know if he wanted her to wear a wire. He said she could listen out for them talking again. She wanted to know what helping him would get her. Brady told EJ that he didn’t want him to be with Nicole. EJ thought he was jealous of him being with Nicole. Brady didn’t think she should be with EJ. He said he has been over Nicole. He just didn’t think she should be with EJ. Brady reminded him that he was still married to Sami. EJ reminded him that he was involved with his sister. Brady said he was single. He asked Nicole if she was really going to go out with EJ. Ava told Philip that Jake used to work for her family. She said there was paperwork on him that would get him in trouble. She said it could land him in jail. Philip wondered if Gabi would be willing to give up her life in order to save him. Gabi wanted Jake to have Ava bumped off. He asked if she was seriously asking him to have her killed. He said Ava’s family was dangerous. Gabi asked if he ever killed someone. Gwen and Xander tried to come up with a way to blackmail the judge. Xander thought the judge might have his price. He thought the judge might be willing to deal with prostitution. Gwen offered herself as bait. Xander didn’t want her to do that. Jack told Abby that Gwen was the one who knew Snyder. He said Snyder was blackmailing her. Abby wanted to know why he was blackmailing her. He said she used to be a prostitute.

Ava told Philip that she wasn’t going to help him until she got something out of the deal. Jake told Gabi that he didn’t kill anyone. She wanted to know what he did for the mob. He said he made money for them. He enforced people to pay the family. Xander didn’t want Gwen to offer herself as a prostitute. She said that the plan would work. Abby was shocked to hear that Gwen was a prostitute. Jack gave her the details about it. Abby blamed herself for why Snyder blackmailed her. Abby told Jack that she went to see Gwen. She said they were never going to be close, but she didn’t deserve to lose her baby. Jack wanted to know what happened. Ava wanted Philip to give her a job at Titan. He said that Victor wouldn’t hire her because he blamed her for his money laundering. She said that she had to run Gabi Chic if he wanted her help. He couldn’t risk her running the company into the ground. She said she could run her own business. He didn’t think he could convince the board and his father to let her do it. She said that she wouldn’t help him if he didn’t do what she wanted. He felt like she was blackmailing him again. She said it was a counteroffer. He agreed to her terms.

Brady asked if he was keeping tabs on him. Jake tried to come up with an excuse, but Brady thought he was going after the CEO job at Titan. Jake started asking Brady questions. Brady was suspicious and wanted him to leave. Jake went in the hallway and listened to Brady’s conversation with Victor. Jake overheard Brady tell Victor he had no interest in coming between Philip and Chloe. Rafe confronted Gabi about the way she has been treating Ava. Gabi called Ava a heartless b*tch. Ava walked in while Gabi was talking about her. Ava watched Gabi and Rafe argue. Ava said she would move out so she wouldn’t cause trouble between Rafe and Gabi. Rafe told her she wasn’t leaving. He wanted Gabi to be the bigger person. Gabi ended up apologizing to her. Rafe was thankful that she was trying to get along with Gabi. He said if Gabi didn’t change her ways, she wouldn’t like who he chose.

When Rafe went to work, Philip came by to see Ava. He asked her how she would like to help him go after Gabi. Gabi met up with Jake at the town square. He told her about what was going on between Brady, Philip and Chloe. Gabi said Chloe was the Achilles heel they could use to bring Philip down. EJ went to see Nicole at Basic Black. He told her she would never see Xander in the office again. They talked about Xander getting arrested. EJ asked her if something was going on between her and Rafe. She said there wasn’t anything going on. He thought she was upset about it. He said she could do better. He asked her out on a date. Gwen went to see Xander at the police station. She said it was her fault he was in this mess. He said she was worth it. She said she was going to get him out of there. He said a jailbreak would be sexy. She said she was going to confess. He didn’t want to go along with the plan. He said they could get another lawyer. Justin came in the interrogation room looking for Bonnie. Gwen asked him to defend Xander. Justin wouldn’t do it. When Justin brought up the judge he was going to see, Xander said he was corrupt. He said he was the same judge EJ bribed about his case. Gwen said he should blackmail the judge to help Bonnie. She said she would help Justin get the evidence to help Xander. When Justin left, Gwen and Xander tried to figure out what they needed to do to prove that the judge was corrupt.

She said she wanted them to focus on loving each other. Allie talked to Tripp about Johnny’s movie. She told him Johnny wanted to write about Marlena being possessed by the devil. Tripp thought there was an explanation for what happened. He found information to prove his point. Allie said she understood his skepticism, but she trusted John. She said if her grandfather said Marlena was possessed, that was good enough for her. Chanel was afraid his movie would tempt the devil to show up. Tony walked in and scared Chanel. Johnny asked Tony to be a consultant for his movie since he was there when Marlena was possessed. Tony said it wasn’t him it was his cousin. Tony told Johnny that he was stranded on an island while Marlena was possessed. He told Johnny to ask John and Marlena about what happened. Johnny said he tried, but it didn’t work. Chanel told Johnny he should drop the movie. He said he wouldn’t give up on his movie. She wanted to talk about something else. They made out. She said she wasn’t having sex with him. She told him she wanted to have fun before they had sex. Eli tried to make Julie feel better about Doug. Eli told her Marlena would find out what was going on. Julie was upset about what was going on with Doug. Eli offered to check on Doug. John showed up at the hospital. Julie told him about Marlena’s behavior. He reassured her. He said he was concerned that he would pass on his mental illness to the child. She realized that was why he didn’t want to have a baby. She wanted him to be honest with her. She asked if he would ever want to have a baby. Steve and Kayla talked about Doug. They thought it was a mystery what he was going through. Abe and Paulina showed up and went over to Steve and Kayla. Steve asked Abe how John was doing. Abe said John was thinking about the past. He said John was thinking about Marlena being possessed. Paulina thought he was kidding. Steve and Kayla said they heard about Marlena’s possession, but they weren’t in town. Abe said he was in Salem and it did happen. Paulina couldn’t believe Satan was in Salem. Paulina came back from the bathroom. She heard Kayla tell Abe they were happy for him. Paulina wanted to know what they were talking about. Kayla said she was happy for them. Eli went to check on Julie. She was with Doug. She told Eli that Doug collapsed in Marlena’s office. She said something was wrong with Marlena. Julie told Eli that Doug said he went into her. Julie felt he was trying to tell her something. Doug started to wake up. Julie told Doug why he was in the hospital. She asked him if he remembered what happened to him in Marlena’s office. Doug said Marlena’s name. He kept saying her name until he became upset. Julie asked Eli to stay with Doug while she got the nurse. She called Marlena.

Marlena found John’s memories of when she was possessed the first time. When she touched the collar, it burned her. She thought about what they did to the town years ago. She said Salem hasn’t seen anything yet. She looked in the mirror and said she looked good after 25 years. John came home and apologized to Marlena for being late. He asked if she was okay. Gwen told Xander she couldn’t tell Jack the truth so she used Xander’s prostitution story. She said Jack wad understanding about it. Xander said he and Jack were back on good terms thanks to her. He wanted to know where they stood. Gwen told Xander that she wasn’t used to men doing things to help her. She said she learned how to turn off her feelings as a survivor instinct. She said the one man she thought she could open up to left her for Gabi. Xander said he knew what she meant because he slept with different women, but he only loved Sarah. He said she ended up choosing someone else. Gwen told Xander that she hated Sarah for hurting him. She said things like that were why it was better not to have feelings. He said everything else were little memory problems. He thought it was because he wasn’t getting enough sleep. Doug reminded Julie that Allie and Chanel were opening the bakery and needed their support. Jack wanted Doug to see Kayla first. Tripp wished Allie luck on her opening. She apologized for not talking since they had drinks the other night. She said she has been preoccupied. He asked if she was distracted by the opening or by what happened between Chanel and Johnny. She said she couldn’t talk right now. Chanel showed up to clear the air with Allie about her and Johnny. Allie said she loved her brother, but he had a bad track record with women. Chloe accused Brady of trying to keep her away from Philip. Brady admitted that he was. He said she couldn’t blame a man for trying. She said his war with Philip stopped being funny years ago. She said it was going to stop. She accused him of thinking everything was a joke. She said he was laughing at her and not with her. He apologized to her. Philip told Gabi and Jake that the tech support found the keylogger on his laptop. He accused Gabi of putting it there. She said she didn’t, but Philip fired both of them. Jake said someone could have put spyware on Gabi’s computer too. He said it could be a company problem. He told Philip to call the tech department. When Philip realized Gabi’s computer was hacked too, he thought it could be Brady. When Philip left, Jake told Gabi that he put a keylogger on her computer in case Philip realized what was going on. He said it was a move a CEO of Titan would do. She said the job was hers since it was her idea. They thought Philip would lose it over Brady. Brady and Chloe talked about their wedding anniversary coming up. Philip came home while they were reminiscing. Philip grabbed Brady and accused him of spying on Titan. He said he would put Brady in prison for espionage. Brady walked out. Philip told Chloe to stop working for Brady. She said to find proof first.

Bonnie and Justin were about to get married when Xander interrupted the ceremony. He objected to the wedding. Xander said he had a million reasons why he stopped the wedding. Justin wanted to know what was going on. Bonnie wanted him to leave. Kayla mentioned how he ruined parties. He said that he was telling the truth to get the million dollars. He said he was telling the truth now. He accused Bonnie of stealing his money. Xander told Justin how Bonnie was able to steal his money. Justin asked Bonnie if what he said was true. Gabi checked out Philip’s computer and found out that he caught Brady and Chloe in bed. Belle went to see Philip to find out why he went to check up on Brady and Chloe. He told her that anything could have happened if he hadn’t got there on time. Bonnie denied Xander’s accusations. Xander insisted that she was the one who committed a crime. He was about to go upstairs when Bonnie stopped him. Kayla wanted to know why she didn’t want him to go upstairs. Bonnie said Calista was upstairs. Justin demanded to know what was going on with her.

Philip wanted to send a threatening memo to Brady. Belle tried to stop him from sending it. She warned him that his anger was going to bring him down. Gabi read the memo that Philip wrote. She showed the memo to Jake. She told him that they had to get Philip to act on his anger. She said that Victor would fire Philip and give her the job. He said he might get the job too. Bonnie said that Calista was sleeping off her hangover. Xander said he would be quiet. He walked off so Bonnie went after him. Xander found the money in Calista’s room. The gun fell out of the bag so Xander wondered why she had a gun. Justin wanted to know why she had a gun too. Belle told Philip that Brady would use what he’s doing against him. She told him to enjoy the fact that he had Chloe. She advised him not to send the email, but he tried to do it anyway. He didn’t understand why he couldn’t send the email. Justin found Calista’s body on the bed. Belle told Philip that he was going to lose Chloe if he didn’t listen to her. Philip got a call from someone and the person found something on his laptop. Justin demanded to know why Calista’s body was on the bed. Bonnie tried to explain when Eli and Lani showed up. Philip went to Gabi to find out why she was spying on him. Eli and Lani arrested Bonnie.

Xander told Gwen that Bonnie came to his room to invite him to the wedding. He figured out that she stole his room key and took the money. He said Bonnie was going to regret the day she crossed him. Gwen said she felt bad that Xander was in this mess because of her. He said it was his choice. He didn’t want her to tell Jack the truth about her miscarriage. He said if she did, then everything he did would be for nothing. He said Jack might not forgive her for lying about Abby causing her miscarriage. Gwen couldn’t believe Xander sacrificed himself for her. He said she was worth it. She said she wasn’t sure what she would tell Jack about her involvement with Snyder, but Jack would know it wasn’t Xander’s fault.

Calista put the gun to Bonnie. Calista told her she was going to die. Bonnie begged her not to kill her. Calista told Bonnie she had to pay for what she did to her husband. Calista used a pillow to silence the gun. Bonnie went after Calista. They struggled over the gun and it went off. Calista fell on the bed. Steve talked to the justice of the peace about Justin and Bonnie’s union. Kayla and Justin showed up at the mansion. Kayla went to check on Bonnie. Justin was worried about Bonnie’s behavior. Justin told Steve that it took a lot to be his best man. Justin appreciated him. Steve wanted him to be happy. Bonnie panicked when Kayla knocked on the door. She struggled to clean up Calista’s body. Bonnie put Calista on her side and covered her with a blanket. When Kayla came in the room, Bonnie said Calista was sick. Kayla wanted to help Bonnie get dressed. Everyone was ready for the wedding. The justice of the peace started the wedding. He asked if anyone objected to the wedding. Xander came in and said he objected to the wedding. He accused Bonnie of stealing money from him. Julie told Jack that Doug locked her in the freezer to protect her from robbers. She was scared that the robbers kidnapped him. Jack said it was possible she and Doug had a fight and he went to cool off. She thought it could have been possible but wondered where he was. She said she had to find Doug. Doug went to the pub. Doug called Roman John. While Doug was talking about different people, he got their names wrong. Roman called Julie. He told her to come to the pub. When Julie and Jack went to the pub, she told Doug that he locked her in the freezer. He said she was confusing him with someone else. He asked her if she was okay. Julie was shocked. When Julie and Jack got Doug home, she acted as if everything was okay. Jack told her that Roman said Doug was confused over names. She thought Doug was tired. Jack told her to get Doug checked out just in case. She said Doug wasn’t going anywhere.

Xander let EJ in his room. Bonnie hid under the bed. EJ showed Xander his contract. EJ said he wanted his money. EJ gave him a pen so he could sign the contract. Bonnie’s phone went off. Xander asked if he heard it. They looked at their phones to see if it was their phone. Xander signed the contract. Bonnie let Kayla know that she was at the nail salon. EJ grabbed the suitcase of money and left Xander’s room. Xander went back to the bathroom. Bonnie left the room while he was in the bathroom. Justin talked to Kayla about Bonnie. He was concerned about Bonnie getting cold feet. Kayla let him know that Bonnie couldn’t wait to marry him. She said Bonnie was only worried about Calista. He said he wasn’t sure about Bonnie’s relationship with Calista. He questioned whether he should talk to her about it. Kayla assured Justin that he didn’t have anything to worry about with Bonnie and Calista. Kayla said she was happy for him and believed Bonnie changed. She said the situation between them was awkward, but things ended up the way they needed to. She said she wanted to think Adrienne helped them.

Bonnie went back to the Kiriakis mansion and was shocked to see Calista on top of Steve. Bonnie took Calista off of him and dragged her out of the room. Bonnie gave her the money. Bonnie wanted the gun in exchange. Calista pulled out the gun and said she wasn’t giving it to her. She said Bonnie was getting the bullet. Jack wanted to know why Snyder was blackmailing Gwen. When she was about to tell him why she was getting blackmailed, he got a call from Julie. She was locked in the freezer at her restaurant. Gwen went to see Xander. She told him that she told Jack that Snyder was blackmailing her. She said she couldn’t tell him why he was blackmailing her because Jack went to help Julie. Xander said she didn’t have to tell Jack everything about the miscarriage. She said she couldn’t let Jack keep writing bad stories about him. EJ banged on Xander’s door. When Xander went to open the door, EJ showed him the empty suitcase. Xander said he put the money there. EJ said a million dollars didn’t get legs and walk away. He tore up Xander’s contract and threatened to send him back to prison. When EJ left, Gwen asked if he scammed EJ. Xander said he didn’t. He remembered that Bonnie came by. When Jack went to Julie’s restaurant, he found out that Doug was the one who locked Julie in the freezer. Jack was trying to understand what happened. She said something was wrong.

Paulina was surprised to find out that Johnny was a DiMera. She was happy that Chanel finally found a rich man. She told her about meeting EJ. She mentioned how he wouldn’t give Johnny money for his money. Paulina thought that was why their relationship hit the skids. She told her that he’s Allie’s twin brother. Johnny talked with EJ about Sami being missing. Philip walked in on Brady and Chloe in the bed together. He didn’t believe there was any engine trouble. Brady got out of the bed. Philip wanted to make Brady pay for what happened at the hotel. Brady told Philip how he couldn’t sleep. Philip said that he slept in the same bed with Chloe. They explained how they ended up sharing the bed. She was upset that showed up there in a jealous rage. Johnny told EJ how Allie had a problem with him kissing Chanel. Johnny thought Allie was jealous because she had something going on with her. EJ asked him if his sister was gay. Allie talked to Nicole about what happened with Johnny and Chanel. She told her how Johnny thought she was jealous of them. Nicole wanted to know if she was jealous of them. Ava talked to Rafe about seeing him with Nicole. She said that she tried to clear her head about it. She told him that he could be with Nicole. He tried to stop her from leaving. He said she had it all wrong. He was saying goodbye to Nicole.

Rafe told Ava how Nicole felt bad about leaning on him too much. Nicole agreed to stay away from him so they could get back on track. She thought it was nice of her but it wasn’t entirely up to her. Ava wanted to know who he wanted. Philip warned Brady not to touch Chloe again. Chloe wanted Brady and Philip to stop arguing. She wanted Brady to leave them alone. Chloe told him that he crossed the line and he was demeaning her. She advised him to get over his jealousy or they were through. He told Chloe that he didn’t trust Brady. He said that he pushed his buttons and drove him crazy. He said he trusted her and learned his lesson. He wanted to take her out of there. He wanted to take her to New York. She asked him about Brady and he said he could stay there. She wasn’t going to leave him there. He agreed to let Brady go with them, but she said Philip could go home. She said they would stay there because he trusted her. Rafe admitted that he had feelings for Nicole, but he never acted on them. He wanted to know if Ava would throw their relationship out the window if she was attracted to someone. Allie thought she was protecting Chanel. Nicole said she didn’t need protection. Allie admitted that she probably was jealous. Paulina told Chanel that Allie was still into her. She said Allie just wanted to be friends. She thought she should stop seeing Johnny.
