Victor tries to persuade Laura that all he cares about is his family. Smolz persuades Alexis to consider his next story idea by telling her he won’t sue her for stealing the revenge porn story from him. Smolz also agrees to drop the charges against Michael for punching him in the face because Michael is going to give him the exclusive story on why the Corinthians family are in conflict with Nina.

Nina tells Sonny she petitioned the court for visitation with Wiley and Michael and Willow will receive the official papers letting them know about the petition today. Sonny and Nina talk about the visitation situation with Wiley. Sonny is sure that Michael and Willow will see she is a good person. The long talk leads to several kisses between Sonny and Nina until Sonny is interrupted by a business call.

Harmony goes to a job interview with Carly at the Metro Court. Harmony tells Carly she tried to persuade Willow to let Nina see Wiley. Carly is impressed by Harmony’s honesty and a recommendation from Alexis. Carly tells Harmony to fill out an application online and she will find her a job at the Metro Court.

Aunt Stella is taken to the hospital, and after being examined, the doctor tells her she had a panic attack. Aunt Stella calls Marshall and tells him not to tell Curtis the truth about his past.

Valentin manages to charm Jennifer Smith and she takes him to her hotel room. Jennifer takes a, shower and Valentin breaks into her hotel room safe but she comes out of the shower and catches him with the safe open.

Lily persuades Billy to suppress his instinct to protect Victoria and not try to help her with the Ashland situation.

Victoria tells her family that her plan is to allow Ashland to plant evidence to make it seem like Adam framed him and planted evidence to make it look like Ashland was faking his illness. Adam persuades everyone that Victor should let him remain temporary CEO so that Victor can pretend to fire him once it is discovered that he “framed” Ashland. Michael tells everyone that once they can prove Ashland was involved in illegal activities, the Newman Locke board can fire him.

Adam gets an alert on his phone that someone has broken into his computer. Adam gives Ashland remote access to his computer so Ashland can plant the fake evidence against him. Adam heads for his office. when he arrives Sally is outside his office door and he tells her he wants to take her to lunch. Once Adam and Sally are alone he tells her the plan. Sally tells Adam that if his family doesn’t show him the respect he deserves there are several ways he could mess up Victoria’s plan.

Nick arrives and asks Adam to be the better man he claimed he wanted to be when he donated his kidney to Faith. Nick asks Adam to think of what is good for their family and go against his instinct of doing what will benefit him the most.

Billy and Nick worry that Victoria won’t be able to get Ashland out of her life.

Chance finishes all the paperwork to rejoin the police department tomorrow. Chance admits to Rey that he feels like an outsider in Dominc’s life because Abby and Devon have a much stronger bond with him. Rey admits to Chance that he also feels like an outsider when he sees Sharon and Nick and their children together as a family.

Adam persuades Victor that they should combine the Newman Media and Locke Communications streaming platforms in order to compete with the bigger more well-known streaming platforms.

Victoria persuades Ashland that she believes he is innocent and she will not stop until she finds the proof that Adam framed him. Victoria calls Adam, Nick, Nikki, and Victor to her office and she gets ready to tell them her plan to take care of Ashland. Ashland breaks into Adam’s office puts some gloves on and gets ready to plant some evidence to make it look like Adam framed him.

Curtis and Portia have a housewarming party with just family and Drew. Aunt Stella wants Marshall to assure her that Curtis and T.J will find out that she knew he was alive all these years. Aunt Stella remembers taking Curtis and Jordan’s divorce papers and later she collapses shortly before taking a family picture.

Sonny and Salina Wu make a deal to let Salina start a gambling operation in Port Charles as long as the gambling isn’t a cover to bring drugs into Port Charles.

Dante and Sam tell Ana that Spinelli discovered that the ice princess diamond is being auctioned in French Polynesia. Ana uses the money Duke left her to get an invitation to the auction. Ana heads to French Polynesia unaware that Valentin is also there undercover.

Trina is hurt that Spencer doesn’t believe in her innocence but Portia tells her its part of growing up to learn that sometimes people you believe in don’t believe in you. Spencer asks Esme to stay with him and maybe if they take things slowly they can get their relationship back to where it used to be.

Ava tells Nikolas that they won’t be sleeping in the same bed while Esme is staying in the house but she will be staying at Wyndamere until he comes to his senses and throws Esme out of the house.

Allie arrives at Diane’s house and Diane tells her about Kyle’s birth and how much Kyle means to her and how she is confident she will be a part of Kyle’s life.

“Fallen Angels Murder Club: Friends to Die For” Review on 4/6/2022

I enjoy watching mystery movies so when I saw the commercial for Lifetime’s movie Fallen Angels Murder Club Friends to Die For, I wanted to watch it. Friends to Die For is the first of two Lifetime movies based on the Fallen Angels Murder Club book series written by R. Franklin James.

I saw the first movie Friends to Die For starring Toni Braxton as Hollis Morgan an ex-convict trying to start a new life after serving time in jail for a crime she didn’t commit. Hollis joins a book club which is made up of other ex-convicts trying to restart their lives. This part of the movie was the most interesting to me… the close friendships that the book club forms with each other based on their shared experience of having spent time in jail and their love of reading murder mysteries. I won’t ruin the mystery for you it was a pretty good one. As always, the book club solves the mystery while the police can’t figure it out.

I liked this movie a lot, although with most mystery movies, I wish that the police were smarter but I am looking forward to watching the second movie Heroes and Felons airing on Lifetime on Saturday April 9, 2022.

I give the first movie Friends to Die For 4 out of 5 stars because it had some parts of it that were silly to me, but again this is my opinion and as I said I will be watching the second movie.

Nicolas and Spencer tell Esme she can stay at Wyndamere because they know she still doesn’t feel safe.

Ava discusses divorcing Nikolas with Scott but he advises her to go home and fight for her marriage.

The Deception IPO launch party is a success although Lucy, Maxie, Sasha, and Brooke Lynn are not happy that Selina Wu is an investor in the company. The ladies, agree that since the company is now public anyone can invest in even alleged lady gangsters. Salina continues to pressure Curtis to let her have poker games in the back room of the Savoy and he continues to refuse her offer.

Brook Lynn and Austin agree to put their differences aside for Maxie’s sake.

Sasha takes another pill before she gets on stage to welcome everyone to the party.

Sonny tells Spencer that Esme is only using him and he should think very seriously about things before he makes a mistake.

Elizabeth has a dream of a shadowy figure who tells her “don’t forget me” and when she awakens she sees the words “don’t forget me” painted on a canvas and when she touches the canvas the paint is still fresh. Dante advises Elizabeth to find another place for her and the boys to stay. Elizabeth decides to send the boys to stay with Laura while she stays at home alone. Aiden tells Jake that Franco may be haunting the house.

Adam and Sally brainstorm to try and come up with a big idea that he can implement while he is temporary CEO of Newman Enterprises. Adam hopes that this big idea will prove to Victor that he should run Newman Enterprises instead of Victoria.

Victoria persuades Ashland that Adam was the person who framed him for faking his illness. Ashland decides to cancel the trip to Tuscany so he and Victoria can get evidence to prove that Adam is the person who framed him.

Phyllis arrives in Los Angeles, and Jack tells her Diane is alive. Phyllis is shocked and once she gets over the shock she persuades Jack to tell Kyle Phyllis is alive before Diane has a chance to blindside Kyle with the news. Jack decides to talk to Diane and buy some time until he has a chance to talk to Kyle. Jack and Phyllis head over to Diane’s house to talk to her and Phyllis still can’t belive what she is seeing when Diane opens the door.

Diane says that Deacon also helped her pay off any witnesses so that nobody would find out she was alive. Diane tells Jack she has gone through years of therapy and she thinks she has changed and wants to make amends to the people she hurt. Diane tells Jack she planned to take Kyle with her but she didn’t want to uproot his life. Diane asks Jack if he could help her be with Kyle again. Jack tells Diane that Kyle doesn’t need her and it is better that he keep thinking she is dead. Jack tells Diane to stay away, from Allie and Kyle.

Brendan Byrne, Neil’s brother, returns to ask Alexis to pay for Neil’s funeral since he believes that Neil’s relationship with Alexis led to his death.

Brendan meets Harmony and recognizes her from somewhere but he can’t quite figure out where he has seen her. Harmony tells Alexis to stay away from Brenden. Harmony remembers injecting Neil with the drugs that killed him while he and Alexis were sleeping in her room.

Trina pleads not guilty to the charges against her and Scott persuades the judge not to set a bond since Trina isn’t a threat to society.

Sonny asks Brick to take over Jason’s job and Brick accepts the job offer. Brick first assignment is for Brick to find out how Esme framed Trina.

Spencer and Esme move into Wyndemere and Spencer tells Esme she needs to take a pregnancy test.

Cameron and Josslyn are worried that Trina’s fight to prove her innocence will be a hard one. Ava tells them both not to worry because the truth will come out and Esme will get what she deserves.

Harmony decides to talk to Michael and Willow on behalf of Nina but the attempt fails when Michael and Willow figure out that Nina asked Harmony to talk to them.

Nina tells Marie that if Harmony doesn’t persuade Michael and Willow to allow her to visit Wiley she will have to go to court to fight for her tight to see Wiley. Nina tries to talk to Carly to see if she can help her reach a compromise with Michael and Willow but the attempt only leads to another argument with Carly.

Spencer apologizes to Esme for thinking she was responsible for the video of Cameron and Josslyn. Nicolas offers to let Esme move into Windermere since she doesn’t feel very safe right now. Spencer agrees to move into Wyndemere so that Esme won’t be alone.

The DA offers Trina a deal if she pleads guilty to the misdemeanor charge of cyber sexual assault, they will drop the felony charge of cyber surveillance in the second degree. Trina still, doesn’t know what she is going to do when she stands before the judge and gets ready to enter her plea.

Jack is extremely angry with Diane for faking her death and making Kyle grieve her all these years. Allie is angry with Diane for lying to her and using her to get to Jack. Diane tells Jack that she wanted to bring Allie to him as a way to apologize to him as a way of apologizing for all the pain she has caused him. Jack tells Diane he will never forgive her for what she has done.

Jack meets with Allie later to explain how Diane made people believe she had been murdered and made Kyle grieve her when he was a child. Diane sends Jack a text that she wants to meet and talk.

Nick asks Billy to try and talk some sense into Victoria. After talking to Lily, Billy tells Nick he will try his best to persuade Victoria.

Victoria calls a family meeting and tells everyone that she is going to Italy with Ashland. Nick and Victor once again ask Victoria to tell them what her plan is so they can help her with it. Victoria asks everyone to trust her and let her handle this problem on her own. Victor tells Victoria that he is appointing Adam as temporary CEO of the company.

Victor asks Michael to find a legal way to get Ashland Locke out of the company and out of the family.

Brandon and Sasha return from their honeymoon hoping to ease back into reality, but Lucy and Maxie persuade Brandon and Sasha to let them plan a party to celebrate their marriage after Deception goes public. Sasha is also stressed because Gladys is upset they eloped instead of having a wedding with family and friends.

Sasha calls her model friend so she can get her more pills to get her through the stress.

Brook Lynn is hurt when Chase doesn’t want to sing the song she wrote for the Deception IPO launch party.

Trina is upset and hurt because Spencer thinks she posted the video of Cameron and Josslyn. Trina tells Spencer he knows the truth in his heart but refuses to see it because he is blinded by Esme. Trina tells Spencer that she is done defending him to everyone and seeing the best in him. Trina tells Spencer to leave and that he and Esme deserve each other.

Scott defends Trina for her arraignment because he believes that she was framed.

Sonny almost has Esme scared enough to admit she posted the video but Nicolas and Victor arrive to rescue her. Victor warns Sonny not to mess with his family and Sonny tells Victor that he has faced worse men than him and he is ready for battle.

Sharon and Tessa are worried about Noah but Tessa won’t let Noah change the subject until he tells her he really doesn’t know what is going on with him right now.

Ashley feels suspicious about Allie and thinks she is a con artist trying to scam Jack. Phyllis and Abby both tell Ashley to let Jack handle things but Ashley has a gut feeling that something bad is going to happen and Jack is going to get
hurt.

Allie and Jack have a nice talk as they drink coffee, although, things get a bit awkward but Allie agrees to have coffee with him again before he returns to Genoa City.

Allie goes to Keemo’s former home to give Taylor Jensen a housewarming gift to thank her for encouraging her to meet with her grandfather Jack. Allie tells Taylor she wants to get to know Jack better. Taylor tells Allie she wants to meet Jack so Allie asks Jack to come to Keemo’s former home. Allie explains to Jack that the woman who bought the house wanted to meet him. Jack is shocked to see Dianne Jenkins standing in front of him.

Chance persuades Rey and Paul that he is ready to return to work. Abby hides her worry when Chance tells her he starts work tomorrow.

Sam isn’t happy that Alexis is letting Harmony stay at her house until she can find a permanent place to stay. Alexis wonders why Harmony seems to be so familiar with her house. Harmony tells her its because she came to the house several times when Christina was in Dawn of Day. Once Alexis leaves for work Harmony remembers sneaking into the house looking for Neil and finding him in Alex’s bedroom.

Spencer tells Victor that there is a possibility Esme is pregnant. Victor tells Spencer that if he is the father of the baby he will make sure that Esme is well taken care of and once the baby is born it will be adopted by a family.

Victor tells Spencer that Trina has been arrested for posting the video of Cameron and Josslyn. Spencer thinks about everything that happened with Esme and then heads to the police station to ask Trina why she posted the video. Ava, Laura, and Carly all believe Trina didn’t post the video but Carly asks Sonny to honor Josslyn’s wishes and let the police handle it. Sonny thinks that whomever framed Trina is targeting Josslyn and he won’t let the person get away with it. Ava tells Sonny to help her clear Trina’s name and make sure thar Esme pays for her crime. Sonny tells Ava that Carly also thinks Esme posted the video so he is already handling the situation.

Sonny calls Brick and asks him to coordinate with Spinelli to find absolute proof that Esme posted the video. Sonny then has one of his bodyguards pick up Esme and bring her to Charlie’s because he wants to talk to her.

Victoria tells Victor, Nikki, and Nick that, she intends to tell Ashland that she loves him and believes in him because it’s the only way to save the company. Victoria asks her family to trust her because she intends to protect the family and the company. Victor and Nick want to know Victoria’s plan so they can help her but she insists she can handle it alone.

Michael returns home with Kevin’s help and he tells Victor and Lauren that Ashland had him put in prison in Peru. Michael was able to get away because he gave legal advice to one of the policemen whose house was going to be taken away and the man was able to use Michael’s advice to save his house.
The man then got Michael on a ship to San Diego where Kevin picked him up and brought him home.

Victoria tells Ashland that she has made all the arrangements for them to go to Tuscany where they can relax and try to figure out who is trying to ruin his reputation.

Sally: Oh, did you feel that? Looked at you and then the temperature dipped about 50 degrees.

Adam: Mm-hmm. Well, a lot went down last night. Things got blown wide open with him and Victoria. Anger, recrimination, shattered lives. It’s a volatile situation and the stakes couldn’t be higher. Some people might look at what happened and think it’s time to panic.

Sally: But you see a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity?

Adam: Exactly.

Sally: I will grab us a table.

Rey: Work meeting?

Chelsea: Yeah.

Rey: Well, judging by that smile, it must’ve gone well.

Chelsea: Oh, this smile isn’t a barometer of anything. I’ve been faking it for so long, my face is starting to hurt.

[ Groans ] So much better. It gets so painful after a while.

Rey: [ Laughs ] I’m sorry, I’m sorry, i shouldn’t be laughing. That’s —

Chelsea: No, don’t stop on my account. It’s funny. The lengths we’ll go to show the world we’re perfect and perky.

Rey: Oh, I know, right? It’s like those influencers on social media — not a hair out of place, every day’s a vacation in paradise.

Chelsea: It’s exhausting. I don’t know how they do it.

Victor, Nikki, and Nick worry about how they can protect Victoria from Ashland and what Ashland’s next move will be.

Victoria tells Billy all about Ashland’s lies and Billy offers her his support. Victoria thinks that Ashland was planning to get her out of the way so he could have total control of the company.

Adam tells Ashland he won’t publish several stories that he has ready exposing all his lies if he makes a clean break from Victoria and leaves town. Ashland tells Adam that he doesn’t intend to leave town or give up on Victoria. Ashland finds Victoria and wants to have a talk with her.

Adam and Sally decide to concentrate on the company because Victoria is distracted and someone needs to focus on business.

Adam hopes that he can make himself invaluable to Victor so maybe Victor will put him in charge of the company.

Rey advises Chelsea to consider sending Connor back to boarding school if he isn’t happy at Walnut Grove.

Sonny tells Curtis he won’t help him get Marshall’s criminal record because he doesn’t want to get involved in a family situation. Marshall walks into Charlie’s and wonders why Curtis is talking to Sonny.

Josslyn tells Trina (now played by Tabyana Ali) she thinks Esme posted the video because she is jealous of them both and wanted to hurt them and ruin their friendship.

Spencer insists that Esme take the pregnancy test to find out if she is pregnant but she tells him its her body, her choice, and is leaving when Cameron arrives. Esme watches the guys talking through the window and smiles as she heads for her car. Spencer tells Cameron he knows Esme posted the video and he hopes she isn’t pregnant.

Jordan tells Dante he can’t be the lead detective on the case because Josslyn is his stepsister. Esme sees Nicolas at the Metro court and asks him if she can stay with him while she clears her head since she and Spencer have broken up.

Jordan arrives at PCU to ask Trina to go to the station for questioning because of the anonymous tip she got from the police hotline.

Lily: Uh, no, I wish, but no.

Billy: Okay, I think I have it here. Um…you’re launching a space exploration division with Chancellor because all the big tech companies are doing it and you would design a much cooler rocket.

Lily: Oh, my god, you’re not even trying to guess. Just guess, come on!

Billy: I don’t want to guess. I just want to know because then I can kiss you and celebrate.

Jack: Why am I not surprised to hear that? My grandson is a bright little boy. I wonder where he gets that.

Phyllis: I wonder where he gets it. She also told me that she found a replacement for me for the marketing job at Marchetti.

Jack: A replacement for you? Impossible.

Billy: A whole box of Jack’s favorites? You are spoiling him.

Traci: I never hear you complain when you’re the one I’m spoiling.

Billy: I’m not gonna complain about pastries. Are you kidding me? In fact, I’m gonna have a couple of those because I plan to go up to the house and see Jack after this.

Traci: Oh, that’s perfect. Then there’ll be plenty. Don’t worry. It’s great that you’re gonna go by the house. Jack’s dying to tell you about his trip to Los Angeles.

Billy: What’s going on? I mean, last thing I heard is there were a bunch of letters that Keemo never sent to him, but I haven’t heard anything since.

Traci: Uh…well, it really is Jack’s story to tell, but i can say this. He has found some really surprising information about Keemo’s life, and I’m — I’m so hoping that this is going to help him eventually heal.

Billy: Well, that sounds intriguing.

Traci: I listened to the first episode of your podcast last night.

Traci: I found it very compelling. I really think you’ve got something here.

Billy: You’re just saying that because you’re —

Traci: No, no, no, because I’m biased? Well, yes, I’m biased, but I’m saying it because it was moving, Billy. You talked about love and loss, and all of it was straight from the heart. It was so brave. I really think that people are gonna respond to this.

Billy: Yeah, wasn’t easy putting that out there, but the fact that there’s any positive response from it, especially from someone that I admire so much, that feels good. Thank you.
